CH Carolina Herrera for women

Immediately when you spray it you know that it is a perfume that you have smelled many times.

It starts with a grapefruit smell that soon gives way to the floral, very slightly powdery heart. Unfortunately on my skin the perfume is quite fleeting and I feel that it does not fully develop so I do not clearly perceive its base notes.

It turns out an elegant and feminine scent and I suppose it has been reformulated for the worse because I have the idea that it must have been quite strong. Or maybe it just doesn't work on my skin.

On my skin it has a moderate sillage and lasts for about 3-4 hours.

I really wanted to try it because it has great reviews but unfortunately it's not for me.

I remember that I used to get tons of compliments with this CH version, and when I say tons are tons. Just dont get why they reformulated

Oh my long lost love from 2012, was it or 2010?
I refused to buy the 2015 golden cap one. I didn't want to be disappointed with reformulation. I've waited and waited and voila got a silver cap vintage. Starts off citrusy and really bad. I though oh no.... reformulated. But then! Only a minute later I smelled the old good tropical praline patchouli.
CH is a unique, well blended and contrasting perfume. It starts with lemons and grapefruits and I hate it. But forget about it because here comes chocolate and roses, praline and flowers, a gourmand blend of deliciousness. All melts into a patchouli (praline and patchouli.... the Angel DNA) and soft suede leather. CH is floral, gourmand, a but leathery, a tad woody. So much of the best of these categories. Love it

Smells very weak and unoriginal. Maybe I'm mistaken but I swear Jeremy Fragrance mentioned this fragrance years ago, claiming that this smells great. Since then, I wanted to try and buy it at some point and I finally added this into my collection. I would say this is NOT great.

A male magnet! I received this as a gift from a man in my life, and every single time that I’ve worn this, I’ve gotten compliments from other men around my age (20s-30s). People always say I smell intoxicatingly delicious when I wear this, and I kid you not, a stranger once threatened to eat my arm because of it. (I don’t know if this has something to do with how it mixes with my body’s chemistry). It’s a polished gourmand type of scent, and it’s absolutely beautiful. I just wish it’s initial moderate-heavy sillage lasted longer, however, you can continue smell it on your skin for around 4-6 hours.

Quite surprising. At first sniff i thought it was your typical fruitchouli as it started off very fruity sweet, but with fresh blast of citrus that lasted a minute or less.
It morphs then into a more rounded, gourmandish territory, i can smell a caramel- chocolate-like note, but with feminine flowers glowing.
Here you have the fruitchouli stage, unfortunately.
The base is an amber musk with some nuanced woods.
After some hours it becomes softer, but still it's a very sweet fragence.
It's a very feminine fragrance, not anything groundbreaking but ok.
Not exactly my style, but the bottle is utterly beautiful.

I love this smell. CH 2015 version is a bit similar but I think 2007 version is more sexy while 2015 is more mysterious. Of course both of them is perfect, feminen and suitable for using in cool weather or special night in summer days 😍 also, sweetness of smells is very moderate, in the right consistency, I can not say so sweet for these perfumes because I feel woody notes more. Actually wonderfully blended. Those who love very fresh perfumes may be done not like both smell in own body. But who loves estee lauder modern muse nuit style perfumes also loves these.

An interesting fragrance, that isn't linear at all. I'm glad that it is an EDT and not an EDP because that would make it somewhat overwhelming. It starts off fresh and critic, clean and good for everyday usage and work (even in the colder months). However, it gradually transitions into a sweeter, woodier, and "dirtier" (though never as "dirty" as Angel EDP) scent that I can see working for nighttime during warm nights. In the drydown it is somewhat bitter (maybe sour?), while still somewhat sweet and sits very close to skin, so the sillage seems to only be present during the first hour or so. What's most captivating about this fragrance is how versatile it is. I can see it being used for all seasons, both day and night, different occasions, though of course all depending on the amount of sprays, and it is even both fresh and sweet, which is an unusual combination.

Today I feel that I miss some deliciously sweet perfumes, I'm tired of light, fresh and clean fragrances, so I sprayed this delicate sweetness and I can tell it's so perfectly balanced! If it hadn't a citrus accord, it would be too sweet and overpowering, a guaranteed headache, but it's sweet and citrus at the same time. Not in a very playful way, woody notes make it sophisticated, very appropriate for bussiness meetings on a cold winter day. Very feminine, never annoying, it swings from woody sweetness to citrus freshness and because of that you can never get bored of it. I sniff my wrists constantly- here comes the praline notes, oh, now it's warm cinnamon, what a nice smell of fruits and what's that? Oh right, that's cashmere wood... The notes are swapping every few seconds until it dries down to a delicious praline woody scent with a hint of patchouli. I love it so much!

I like this one very much. it has a perfect mixture of fresh, earthy, sweet and woody vibes that I enjoy very much. I notice the fruity notes, the patchuli (that I find soft enough for my taste) and in the dry down the suede and the woody notes. It has a very pleasant development from fresh and crisp to deep sweety and earthy in the dry down.
It's very feminine and chic. And it lasts at least 8 hours with a very good sillage on me. I find it suitable for all seasons (except maybe the hotter summer days), for day or night. It makes me feel dressed up, so I don't use it in lazy days, but I love to use it to go to my office, for dates, for family gatherings, etc

The Bottle:It's okay it's pretty simple but I do like the red "leather", but I feel that the bottle doesn't really show what the perfume might be like. I assumed it was going to be a dark heavy scent.

Inside the bottle:
Sensual & Winter time are the words that come to mind when I smell this perfume. When you first spray it you get the suede,chocolate and hint of fruit. When it dries you get a light patchouli scent If you are not a big patchouli fan this one is tolerable because of the other elements helping it not be too much. Then follows the citrus and woody scent. Longevity is pretty good it's moderate and the sillage is also moderate.

Overall: This perfume is a great for someone who loves perfume on the darker side but wants something light enough for the daytime.If your sensitive to perfume this one might be a little too much for the few minutes you put it on , but I think you should be fine once it's dries.

Was gifted a mini of this with just a tiny bit in it, but that was enough to test. This is a very nice, likable, and really quite unremarkable scent. I like it enough that I would wear it, but not so much that I would seek it out to own a full bottle. It definitely has a nice leathery quality which is its primary pro in my opinion.

If you like leathery sweet scents, this might be just the thing for you!

I really, really like this one. It has a warm, sweet start, with the oriental notes underneath, and it slowly transforms into a masculine scent, and you can easily feel leather, cedar, and patchouli. I guess some people may not like that, but I've always liked masculine perfumes, so it's great for me.

The scent is too sweet, forgettable and not very long lasting. Don't think is anything special because the are a lot of fragrances out there that smell very alike. Even though is versatile, after a while it gets cloying.

This perfume was my first true love. It was love at first spray and we started a passionate and exclusive love affair that lasted through my teenage years. But then it comes that time of our lives when we want to explore other things and I dumped it unceremoniously. But no matter what scents I discovered after it, nothing ever came close to representing my inner me as much as this perfume. Slightly masculine, very assertive. Different but Dependable. Now, I have many affairs especially in the evenings (oh my deadly Poison and sensual Hypnotic Poison!), but I'm proudly and happily married to this darling. I will always love it, no matter what.

This perfume is bit "dark". I get association with heavy dark wood furniture, but also there are very lovely and feminine floral. Didn't get much citrus, fruits or sweetness, but I smelled rose, suede and bit spice note. Overall this isn't "mainstream" perfume. It is feminine, interesting and bit on heavy side. This actually reminded me Blvgari Jasmin Noir. They are different, but in same time they have something similar. Bvlgari scream "rich" and have "cleaner" notes, while CH is more for everyday, it is more settled, but it's still sexy and feminine.

This is a very complicated fragrance, there are a ton of notes and a lot going on! The opening is citrus-fruity fresh followed by wonderful strong patchouli, spices and leather. This is in the same vein as Vince Camuto but probably a little more butch. I was really hoping to love this because not only did I swap for the mini from the lovely lady below me, I won a 50 ml bottle on eBay lol thank goodness...I love it! The silage isn't huge but good and the longevity is great. Towards the drydown I get an odd but delightful woodsy coconut vibe.

WOW! My skin chemistry turns this into the manliest smell ever. All I get is suede water notes, cedar, and something spicy, maybe the cinnamon. Either way I am happy it was only a mini. I got it through a lovely swap but I think I will have to pass this on.

My brother bought this for me & each time I wear it, I always get many compliments about it from guys. So I guess this is really poplular with men. I love it too. It's gorgeous. CH is the only perfume I know that smells really sweet without smelling over bearing or tacky. It's the perfect blend between girly and womanly. Smells like a crisp, classy version of chocolate. I just wish it lasted longer because to me, it loses its power after 2 hours. Sadly. But still worth it.

I got a one today. Such a sweet and warm perfume. the most dominant note are citrus/lime and patchouli which make this perfume fresh and powdery.

This original CH for women (silver capped) is a flowery sweet seductive fragrance. I feel confident as a woman when I wear this. I don't know exactly why. It may be the sillage that surrounds me. Not a choking flowery scent. Jasmine, citrus and a fruity cinnamon dominates at the opening. The fresh watery rose and sugar I pick up in the middle. Also, I smell a little patchouli that is not overwhelming because I dislike patchouli scented fragrances. But, I love this. This is a keeper! I pick up woodsy musk and the continuation of the sweet flowers in the dry down. Lovely!

CH eau de toilette is a Señorita, with her sweet smile, teases you...invites you into her world. She loves the thrill of a chase but leads you on with her floral trail and sinful pralines.

It starts with a fresh blast of Bergamot and Lemon introducing a revitalizing twist to a sweet composition. The heart is COLOURFUL with The Bulgarian Rose and Jasmine's rule grounded by the Cinnamon's earthy spice. The aromatic woods leave an impression of masculine edge that heavily contrasts with its feminine character at the base.

fresh, sweet, soury, flowery, light woody and fresh spicy. what i get the most are lemon, bergamot, jasmine, patchouli, amber and praline. it is a very simple and very wearable perfume. absolutely for daily perfume.

I have a bottle to give away, I have bought many, many perfume bottles over the years, and this one is the worse, smells like a chip cigar, a very, very masculine perfume, just horrible, expensive and horrible.

Wow! CH Carolina Herrera took me by surprise! I expected it to be insipid, but I really fell for it!

Citrus at the top and some fruitiness, paired with patcouli. Then, as it evolves, I get woods, some smokiness, suede and musk. I also get something like unsweetened chocolate and coffee. Lightly sweet, veers on the side of unisex.

This strikes me as a potion. Mysterious, politely oriental (like Prada l' eau ambree or Bvlgari omnia), refined and bold at the same time. Stays close to the skin, so could even be office appropriate if you spray a good half hour before getting there.

I will get myself a bottle when my Prada l' eau ambree runs out.

It's a very lovely woody fruity fragrance..I definately can detect shiny citrus notes but they're not sharp or overpowering at all..I absolutely agree that it's sweet and fresh at the same time..I think it's more appropriate for daytime

Top and middle notes are really nice, base notes are pure wood and masculine! NOOOOOO

I expected it to be mor mass produced kind of scents , actually it was when it first launched, but before five minutes I tested it from my friend's vanity table and I found it soft and not heady at all. Not too much rosy, and it is well balanced. Maybe not enough character in it as I like unique smells, but it is energetic and dynamic.

I have a really sensitive nose and this one triggers a migraine in almost no time. Too strong. It smells almost masculine to me, despite how floral and sugary this is.

EDIT: I changed my mind. It still triggers a migraine if I use it on hot days, but during the winter, it smells wonderful! I don't know how I hadn't noticed it before. It is really sweet, but in a classy way. Still wouldn't use it during the summer, but this might just be my go-to perfume in the winter months.

Notes like this. And not in a good way. When I smelled it it didn't smell
So head spinning at all. It was a hit in my country when it first got here. Maybe the confusion of the notes confused the juice itself and automatically turned to something much more simpler. Am I making any sense? It's a sweet warm scent. No headache effect.....like most of hers. Or maybe yes .... Hmmmm, well anyways let's just say if I HAD to chose one of hers... Like really really had to....you guys know the answer. Preferebly fall/ winter. I'm no ch fan. And will never buy/ use any ch perfumes. Just writing a review....

A tad bit fruity. Otherwise an ok scent.

At first fruity and fresh, it later turns much more darker.
In base notes it's very musky and woody.
The sweetness from the praline is there and spicy cinnamon is also noticeable.
Still, if I wanted fresh fruity scent I wouldn't chose
it and if I wanted a darker musky fragrance I wouldn't chose it either.

Pop of citrus, short lived and then a sweet, suede-y wood.... Very girly and fresh. I don't get the overwhelming sweetness, just a backdrop of sugar.

I want to love this scent, and I do, for the short amount of time that it lasts. This would be an amazing fragrance if it lasted longer and projected....

This is a burst of juicy, sour freshness. Very nice, it's really comforting to me, close to the skin, not overwhelming. Good stuff, the only thing -I wish it was longer lasting as it is, but still I wouldn't say it is that bad... I love it so much that I am almost finishing a bottle for less then 2 months.

SOooo sweet for me,In addition repetitive.I prefer to buy perfumes wich have unique odor.

Smells good and fruity tropical + patchouli in the test tube I bought, but in a larger bottle, it now in warmer weather smells like most patchouli. Which makes it smells masculine, probably more of a seasonal perfume, like for colder weather.

I think that the perfume "Chick" by Carolina Herrera would be perfect in this bottle, though that would look more chick :)

Very nice every-day-scent but too sweet for my taste. Timeless - this is a scent for both younger and mature women. Longlasting on my skin.

I first heard about this fume from Lollipop26 back when she had youtube. Finally found it at Duty Free at Vancouver airport so had to sniff. Initial blast was sweet and fruity. Fast forward to six years later (today), I found there again so sprayed to see if I don't love it anymore. Initial blast is still the same but the drydown was what I forgot. After an hour, it becomes a skin scent lightly brushed with praline then woods to take off the sweet edge. If you like Prada Candy or Sarah Jessica NYC, you might like CH.

Sillage: six inches for first hour but people had to lean very close to smell it
Longevity: skin scent for over twelve hours
Rating: 4 because of sweetness and mostly for longevity

Got this sample in swap and was blown away with the opening
- sweet warm chocolate and woods.
Its like it almost shakes you up a bit , arouses your senses with its deep
sweet sexy start.
This first impression made me think of the chocolate in SJPs Covet- wich is lovely too !
Slowly , very slowly this morphs into a wooden and musk ,iso super type of
smell, like in the Eccentric molecules quartett I really like it , but the base stays pretty weak , longlasting- but weak and I really wish this perfume was blended the other way around...
Cause that strong sweet bold top and early heart is really lovely !

I bought it but had to return it after the fragrance that the saleswoman applied on my hand developed a very strong, woody, old lady-like scent.

I changed it for L'eau, it's lighter and lasts more than some reviews say if you apply it in your clothes.

I would say it is not a fragrance for young girls. There should be a section in this forum where you recommend the age range for a perfume.

Tenía mucho sin usar esta joyita, tanto que pensé en ponerla en mi lista de intercambio; recién la compre, la usé mucho hasta llegar el frasco a la mitad, hoy decidí darle otra oportunidad.

Siempre la he sentido muy femenina, inicia muy dulce, como piña con caramelo (el praliné), luego se siente la madera, la canela, el cedro mezclado muy bien con la nota de praliné y las notas cítricas, lo cual la hace más bien amaderada, su calidad es excelente.

En fin, que ahora que la volví a probar, dudo en dejarla ir.

Su duración es más que excelente, mas de 10 horas y su proyección de alta a moderada.

Not bad but not for me. Other than the first few fruity minutes this is not sweet to me, I dont get any of the praline others mention. Easily unisex.

Throw was low and it lasted less than 2 hours total so I wont be repurchasing.

Definitely one of my favorite fragrances! It's spicy and sweet at the same time, and very alluring, feminine and sexy. Smells extremely delicious on my skin.

The opening was very spicy and oriental; it smelled like cinnamon, woods and leather. As it dried down, I got a warm, sweet, indulgent praline and fruit note, and a tiny bit of citrus somewhere in the middle.

I think it's a very glamorous, statement making scent, with great longevity. Perfect scent to wear at night, and very classy and chic as well.

I don't get anything sweet in this perfume. Nor citrusy either. It's all leather, wood, spices, tobacco, almond .. and a wonderful aqua tone that mixes all and lights it up.
It's almost masculine, but oh so very feminine. It is not for the fainthearted, but for the one who wouldn't stand being unnoticed.

This is a sexy sophisticated fragrance. Perfect for a young woman. It's a good perfume would definitely buy again!

This wonderful perfume smells like no other in my collection. I guess CH by Carolina Herrera can describe me better than any words. I will always remember the day I fell in love with this fragrance, very sensual, passionate and feminine one.

I find CH a predictable creation. Its sticky sweetness lurks behind the short first accords of citruses and soon dominates the whole experience. Tropical and sugary as it may be, it could be enjoyable to those who would not mind a rather linear, candy-like fragrance with little projection but a fair deal of girly charm.

on me, first spray is definitely gourmand sweet, i think it's the praline.. and suddenly the wood came out covered with leather, hard and very strong, too masculine.. i end up giving a full bottle to my husband which actually smells on him just like a sweet men's perfume.. not for me, but for those who like woody or men's perfume, this is the one to use without you really wearing men's perfume.
Sillage is moderate, longevity is quite long lasting, 6-8 hrs on me..

To me, it smells like summer garden, nice and full of sweetness!

On my skin, all I get is woodsy, sweet, tobacco goodness which is strange because tobacco isn't even one of the notes. Anyhow, I really like this scent. It smells almost masculine on me and I can imagine it working really, really well as a fall-winter scent. It also reminds me a lot of CK Euphoria (but way more wearable). And of course, the bottle screams class! I've yet to find a Carolina Herrera scent that disappoints me.

I tested this before, dont know what I really expected, but I was disappointed. But...I got a sample of CH L'eau, and totally loved it. It had this fabulous woodiness that is just delicious to me. Problem was that it disappeared on me in less than an hour, and I'm certain it had no sillage to speak of (on me).

When I got on fragrantica, and read all the reviews saying it is much like CH, I was surprised, but realised that I must give this latter fragrance another shot.

Sure enough, I have done a complete volte face on my feelings for this fragrance :). I've moved from indifference to lots of love. The longevity issue I had with L'eau is happily addressed besides.

On the progression of notes, it's fruity, sweet (in a vanilla-ic way) and woody, and the woods become more about an hour into wearing it.

It's now on top of my 'to buy' list. Yay - another one I love!

Spicy and alluring, like CK euphoria. Wish it lasted longer on my skin. It gives me two good hours and then it's gone. I often mix it with Euphoria for a longer lasting scent.
Elegant and sexy.

I smelled this a couple of years ago on a friend of mine. She absolutely loved it. It was her signature fragrance. However, I really disliked it. It was this piercing spicy sour note that I thought disturbing. Reading the notes here, I assume it was the suede note. I don't know whether it was my friend's skin PH or how much she applied it on, but it was always very intrusive. It smelled heavy (not necesarilly because of the sillage) and not feminine. It was like "WHAAM!", there on your face all the time. It reminds me a bit of the effect ricci ricci (by Nina Ricci) has in me. Both bold and agressive fragrances. Not a fan at all.

Every once in a while, I get a whiff of this and realize the scent is coming from me. It has a sweetness but on me, it is buried under something screechy sharp - could be cedar with more woods?? After an hour, the scent turns into men's cologne. The body lotion is strong on this men's cologne note. About three years ago, I remember trying an edp or edt while waiting at the airport and loving it but never bought a bottle. Is this still found at department stores?

I often walk with this perfume train, and do not understand what women see in him, when a person wearing this perfume sits near me I smell wet torso only, nothing more.

My go-to sexy perfume and perhaps my signature one.
At first I can definetly smells cinnamon and woods, sausy and spicy, almost peppery. I can hardly ever detect the pralines and exotic fruits, which is good news for me, since I don't like too much sweet notes in my perfume. May be others sense them, though. Citruses weave their threads throught the whole aromatic tapestry, making it very fresh and add a slight edge of bitterness. The patchouli complements with its velvety softness, underlining the perfume's seductive nature. The rose plus the jasmine softens the composition, making it somewhat tamer and more feminine. The overall sent is complex and multi-layered, but retains a mysterious quality, totally lifts mood and boosts confidence, always. It's bold, warm, alluring, but in a very classy yet modern way and never too much in your face, may be except for the beginning, but as the scent enfolds, it becomes softer and never weaker in impression.
Very good lasting power and if I put on a little more than necessery fills the whole office room.

Seriously long lasting. When I tried this, it smelled like red berries and a touch of vanilla. I guess from the fruit note and praline. The woods emerge after about half an hour. I like but don't love it. Wanted more from it after reading the reviews here. Nice though

OOh this perfume, and all the CH line smells like fungus to me, dusty and wet, the kind of fungus that grow in wet places, i don't like it at all. it make my nose itch, i don't find it pleasant

I recently went out on a shopping spree and got myself a 100ml bottle of this (fantastic) perfume. This has been my mom's signature scent for quite some time now, so I had the chance to try it on several times before actually buying it. I don't know if it's just me, but I felt a guy could easily get away with this one, and now that I have it, I think I was right. There's something about it, I guess it's the woods and the spices, maybe? I'm not sure, but it works great on me. The thing opens with a sharp, chemical-esque citrus note (not very pleasant), but after a while it turns into this kind of spicy-sweet-peppery frag that I find oh-so sexy. It has decent longevity and projects very well. It won't turn heads, but people around will definitely notice it.

I smell mostly pineapple, gourmandy muskiness, and cashmere woods.

I was trying to decide whether I liked this one or not. It seemed like a pretty ok perfume, but I wasn't connecting with it at all. I just couldn't wrap my mind around this Fragrance.

Strangely, although I've never smelled this fragrance on anyone before, an older woman came into my office wearing it this week and it was NOT pleasant AT ALL.

It reminded me of a messy crayon drawing, or a stale applesauce blend made out of tropical fruits and candy. You know that smell that toddlers and babies have when it's time for them to bathe? Kind of stale, sticky and sweet? That's what it reminded me of.

Now it could have been this womans chemistry messing things up, but her fragrant presence left too much of an impression on me so, I'm gonna have to give this one a thumbs down.

To me CH by Carolina Herrera smells like leg wax.
I'm all for hairless legs and other body parts and I go through the whole waxing thing as often as necessary, but going around smelling like an element of torture is not something that I would call appealing. Every time I smell this perfume on somebody I involuntarily flinch. It's some sort of pavlovian response to the smell that makes me brace myself for the pain.

I love this one so much. I don't understand all the negative reviews, because everytime I smell it in my bottle, I just love everything about it. I discovered it at Bloomingdales and have had it for more than two years. It's great for day and night all year round in my opinion and every time I sprayed it on myself I truly enjoy the scent and feel like a sexy, fun, sweet and mysterious woman. I've thought of it as my signature scent but when I realized I hardly ever get complimented on it, I ventured out to try a lot of other perfumes. I have a ton of samples in my drawer and have bought a few only to return them all. Then I go back and smell my bottle of CH and can't help but smile. I live in manhattan but deeply miss the earth and mountains so maybe that's why I really connect to the woodiness of it. And the mix of everything else is wonderful to me. I like that it's not too sugary sweet like flower bomb or anything of that nature. I just love it.

Too heavy , never really liked it

Too woody for me. I've been wanting to try this one for a long time and I was sure I'd like it, but I don't care for it. All I can smell is the wood. I guess woody perfumes are not my cup of tea after all.

best description for it is that it gives you the exact same mood of the model wearing that stunning red dress in the ad.

Do you expect another linear copycat?? No way here. Unique and complex fragrance which fills up the room and lasts quite long. When I 1st tried I didn´t know the notes but first what came to my mind was fruity chocolate. I wasn´t far.. Pralines which are warm and comforting but filled up with prominent sweet fruit and hint of citrus. In some moments I can smell cinammon. Fortunately patchouli doesn´t annoy me in this (normally I can´t stand it) It reminds with its complex about PR One Million for men. I don´t say it´s the same but somehow it has something common. The scent is warm good for cold temps but yet is little fresh because of the fruit and citruses. If it matches your chemistry succes guaranteed. When I left the store some people turning to me because the scent is unusual, lively as the woman who wear it. Attention seeker! Recommend! And the bottle = 1!!!!

For me it didn't worked, the scent was pretty good at first, i could scent the bergamote and a little of jasmin and tropical fruits but then it didn't stayed in the skin much more than 1 hour... not so strong as it seens in the beginning. yet very good. I think the problem is my skin that is too white and doesn't catches the final notes...

I find this scent unidimensional and cloying. As for that, reminds me of Eternity Moment, quite a bit better though. It is much more lemony, but the praline and the tropical fruits give it a heavy sticky feel.

I had a small spritzer of this one and tried it on. It was too strong on my first spray, and some minutes after, the people around me were saying that I was wearing a man's perfume but I find it really pleasant.

Another great fragrance that blends sweet and fresh with warm and spicy notes. I get this fresh/cinnamon scent that is just too good to describe! A truly girly, sexy and sophisticated scent at the same time.

I personally don't find it a casual fragrance and would use it for going out. I also think it's better worn in wintertime but good for summer evenings as well.

It smells very sweet at first, but then it changes to grass, bush. It smells like forest to me.

This is so great, it's wonderful to find a sophisticated scent that has fruity notes. Tropical fruits and praline is all I really smell distinctly, but there is a softening suede note in the dry-down. Delicious, but not too young, with great staying power and sillage.This is going on my want list!

I have tried this one after reading all positive feedback on the EdT once and liked it. Later I bought it in an action for 20 euros for 50ml bottle and because I still have With Love which suits winter feeling more IMHO, I kept it in the cupboard for later use. Today I woke up and felt like to start something new so I unpacked it, sprayed a bit back at 9AM as usual - on neck behind ears and into hair and I love it all day long. Now it is well after 7PM, and I still get positive reaction on my scent. I think I found my jackpot perfume :)

I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews because its sickening for me. I was confused with the really stylish bottle and the top note which is mostly my favorite bergamot. But then it turns stifling and ugh!

Have wanted this fragrance ever since I realised its notes contain Praline. Through a series of events, i discovered that the same scent i loved so much in Paco's Black XS, came through in the dry down of Britney's Believe. Praline.

This scent being a woman's fragrance certainly doesn't faze me and certainly does not stop me. For me, it's about how it makes me smell. The thoughts and memories connected to it.

I bought a 30ml (1FL OZ) today. I haven't sprayed it on me, but smelled from the spritzer, and i could smell earth. I fell even more in love with this scent.

The first time I tried this scent, I like it... immediately .
A girl walked next to me and asked about the "male scent" on me. I was really surprised another woman found this strong enough for assuming it was a "male cologne".
For me is sweet, kind of woody and long lasting. My 2nd bottle now, and I think I will continue buying.

It smells like leather..

This didn't work for me, and I really wanted to like this as the bottle is adorable. I hate to give this a negative review since I'm sure it works for some people and others don't. It smelled similar to some of the Angel flankers. However this one was rather flat and didn't develop much on my skin no projecting it dried down to almost a man's cologne. Staying power was not great it was really close to the skin though! Would recommend you try before you buy!

It is not what I would expect from the notes listed. It is very well balanced, not too sweet, not too spicy, definitely not too fruity. It is rather a soft, delicate floral. I really like the opening. There is something in the top notes along the lines of bellini (or maybe champagne?). I can't quite put a finger on it but I can smell the same thing in Fancy Love and Luscious Pink. It is lovely! Unfortunately this perfume seems to disappear on me within a couple of hours. Other than that, I think it's great.

A very sophisticated and elegant smell. On me it spells confident. Sweet with a hint of fruity smell. so agree to what femmeasis had said. I am in love with the perfume.

I´ve bought the regular Ch (red), 3 years ago and I liked it very much, the amalfi lemon has a peculiar scent to it that is quite bittersweet and mixed up with cinnamon and praline. OMG that praline, simply launches me to the sweetooth moments of childhood!!
Now, the suede touch gives this juice the right ammount of seriousness, not too much. Ends up beeing casual enough for daily use but sexy enough to be used on a conquerish date....
About the pink version, CH Garden party, Is quite lovely also, I just bought it two weeks ago, the pink leather and golden charms of the bottle got my eye straight and asked the sales person for a test...
I can now say, no hesitation, This one is the new fave amongst the CH pair.

It keeps the amalfi sweet n´sour hint, adds a bit of airy pink rose petals, and sweet spices, and even tough it is not pointed here, this formula preserves my sooo loved , intoxicating praline. the suede and patchouli are missed now so it´s not longer a Floriental, but a fruity floral with subtle oriental trails. This fume suites more my scented dreams... Hope it´s not a Limited edition, that would be just terrible!!!

Compré el Ch regular (rojo) hace 3 años y me gustó mucho.El limón Amalfi tiene un aroma peculiar algo dulceamargo y mezclado con la canela y el praliné..Oh mi Dios! ese praliné simplemente me transporta a los momentos golosos de mi infancia!!!

La gamuza y el Patchoulí ya no están aquí por esto no es más un floriental sino un floral- frutal con sutiles estelas orientales.este perfume encaja mejor con mis sueños perfumados...
Espero y no sea una edición limitada pues sería terrible!

I just love this scent! At first I get fruits, citrus and something tropical. It`s fresh and sweet, but not fruity-floral kind of way. More like praline sweet, still not too gourmand.
I can smell jasmine and cinnamon, which adds lovely spiciness to the mix.
Dry down is soft, sweet and warm. Beautiful, delicious and sexy in classy way.

I don`t think this is very similar to 212 sexy (which I have also). Both are warm and sweet but this is much more fruity/fresh and 212 sexy more peppery and sugary.
And I can`t smell serious similarities with BS Believe either. Both are fruity at the beginning and praline-like sweet at the end, but that`s about it for me.

CH is a wearable-sexy-sweet-"evergreen" fragrance!

This i what a signature perfume would smell like if you are a teenager, working lady, Mom, college cheerleader, you name it! It's a likable smell but leaving an impression...so original!

Rouu gave me a sample of this gorgeous scent. Its a soft and warm smell that make me feel so comfortable. I love the sweetnes from the praline and cinnamon. Going too get me a bottle

I used it several times and I really love this one. I can smell some pine apple in the top notes that gives it a bit freshness and melon for the fruitiness but then it blends in the scent I really love. warm, soft and spicy with the Rose,Cinnamon and the woodsy notes.

This perfume gets better every time I use it.

i fell in love with the bottle at first sight, so i bought the bottle without smelling it..

the scent is kinda like bvlgari's jasmine noir, which i have and don't adore that much. i guess it's because of the woody scent that's very dominant, and unlike jasmine noir, the woody scent lingers.

the scent is very sophisticated and very feminine at the same time.

i think this would be perfect for the night time, while on a date or on heavy flirting mode (lol) as the scent just sets the mood.

This scent is not `big discover of the year` but has such a pretty coposent as rose, cinnamon and praline - who can resist? i don't.
This perfume is for quick falling in love, you can't stop smelling it and like it (i even smell coconut which i adore althrough it's not mentioned in description). CH has something you can call `charm`, even if it's rather teenage-fluffy-candy kind of loveliness.
I like its warmth, softy sweetness and girly style.
Perfect smell of youthness.

Update: I really did like this but after testing it thoroughly, I realized that is smells just like Britney SPears's believe. Don't need this one since I already have Believe. ;'/


This fragrance it is right up my alley and I loved it at first sniff. It opens bright, juicy, citrusy and sweet. The cinnamon is also a perfectly blended addition. Femenine, deliscious, the bottle is so cute! Perfect for spring summer, I used to think that Carolina Herrera perfumes didnt appeal me, but this one does, i love smelling this.

This a gourmand floral, dont be turned off because its classified as oriental, it smells like a veil of praline, rose and vanilla.

This is really classy and womanly. Not girly, not "old-lady", just womanly! It really smells like the deep red color of the bottle, very seductive, but not vulgar or tacky. One of those unique, well-blended scents you might wanna have around, even if it's not your style. It will suit beautifully an evening party, a sophisticated dinner at a good restaurant, or a flirtatious date.

The thing is, for me it will never suit any of the situations above... After a couple of hours, when it looses a little bit of its juiciness and settles into a more of a floral scent, it starts giving me a teeny tiny nasty little headache... ARGH!

I love the smell contrary to the "for older women perfume" comments here. The scent, bottle design and ads screams classy! I really love the ad with a lady half-undressed of her red gown with CH perfumes all over that looked like roses around her, very sophisticated in my opinion.

Wasn't love at first snif, but this one has become one of my favorite. Floral, citric, woodsy with a wonderful praline note (not too sweet but very warm) all at the same time.

Even though it's appropiate for older woman, cause is a rather rich, strong and classy fragance, young women should step out the floral fruty confort zone and give it a try too (I'm on my 20's and love it :p)

I will tell you exactly what it smells like it's an almost identical copy of the Paco Rabanne which I have. I am kind of surprised to see that 2 perfumes from different brands smell so identical, but I like the Paco Rabanne Black XS way better.

It suffocates me at the beginning!!! a strong harsh dusty smell may be due to the melon !!!! but after a while the real concept of the fragrances appears... it turns to a more fiminie smell with noticable rose-cinnamon note. it is too strong for my taste indeed.i would give it 6/10 ....

i´ve actually received complements for this perfume.
personally, i don´t think it has enough personality for me to buy it. it reminds me of calvin klein euphoria, except CH is a little bit lighter. if i was to choose between the two i would pick euphoria.
i like CH enough to use up my sample of it, though.

I have little good to say about this scent. First, the components smell primarily synthetic. It is a lean scent, despite the supposed round notes of cinnamon, praline, woods, & leather. Second, it may be the choice of notes rather than the way they are combined, that dooms this perfume. A Citrus Floral Leather Gourmand? The citrus/pepper top reminds me of industrial cleaner, and the pomelo clashes horribly with the praline. The floral heart lies muddled and unnoticed. Once the top notes have blown off, the bearable drydown is mostly woodsy praline. I get no leather whatsoever. Despite all this olfactory action, CH lacks dynamism and manages to be boring as well as inferior. That's a blessing in this case.

This is really white and red at the same time. CH is so so retro what makes it extremely modern and even fast forward. It smells so familiar and unique at the same time. It's classic and brave. Two sides in one.

the nice bottle took my eye and when I smelled it seemed really like black XS to me.warm,fruity and very sweet,like strawberry with the cream.
when some minutes passed I realized it's very similar to Miss Dior Cherry,the same creamy pop corn scent.but not as provocative nor long lasting as miss dior cherry.

I liked the ad for this fragrance, so when I saw it I smelled it from bottle and there was this strange note. I thought this fragrance was absolutely weird.
Now I tried it and discovered that among this weird note it's nice fragrance, interesting and strong.
On my skin this I think it's cinnamon with something is present and accompanied with sweet notes.

This perfum have many contradictions for me, first i buy and found it so heavy and strong, and my nose feel like a pepper, i didn´t liked (some times I´m going to buy perfums even like me so much)
