Envy Me Gucci for women

My signature scent for years, it had that combination of sour, sweet and woody mix. I miss it a lot, still can't find anything similar.

I used to love this when I was a teen. Lovely, fresh, juicy, good-vibe, and youthful scent for the spring and summer. It's definitely a day aroma, but I could also imagine it on a nice summer evening, for example, for a walk on the beach. Imo it's more of a sweet light floral than fruity. I don't detect any tobacco or musk. The big surprise is how durable it is - solid 8+ hours on my skin and hair, and even more on clothes, which is very unusual for a floral fresh scent. It brings back memories, so I like it, but even if it were still available, I wouldn't wear it regularly - I'm turning 36 soon, and this perfume just feels inappropriate and unserious for a mature lady. Luckily, I have found a very cheap dupe (7 euros!) that is stunningly similar and just as durable as the original. It's a Turkish brand called Sansiro. This dupe, of course, I keep in my collection and use it whenever I am in a girly, nostalgic mood.

I used to love the original Gucci Envy. My mum brought me a bottle of Envy Me in error and I didn't really like it but i kept it anyway because it was from my mum. I wasnt even aware back then that Gucci was a designer scent. I'm so glad I kept hold of it as I recently re tried it and I love it! So weird how our tastes change over the years isnt it! I've had that 50ml bottle since around 2005 and it's still as good as the day I got it, although I try to use it sparingly as it's not available anymore.
Such a shame Gucci Envy and Envy Me got discontinued

Fruity teas and fresh cut floral bouquets. This scent definitely gives me nostalgia for the early 2000s. It's bright and fresh, but not super light, it's more heady, rich, syrupy fruits and punchy flowers. A happy go lucky, confident, and beautiful woman well dressed in hot pink is who I picture wearing this scent. It'd work as a flirty date scent, and I think it would work in the daytime or evening and year round.

It had been my all time favorite since when I was early 20s.
Ran out the last bottle I had and had to find something new. Settled with YSL Mon Paris for some reason. It’s way sweeter but I kinda like it. But I really wish they bring it back someday.
And like the other review said, Divain 154 is very very similar like almost 95% I would say. Top to middle is exactly the same but it dries down on my skin a little differently. It doesn’t last that long like Envy Me did, but it was like $25, so overall I’m very happy with that and it was a great purchase!

It's one of my all-time favorite old-school vibe perfume. I so much love the rose-mixed floral vibe of this. I did a review about this for my Zest Girls YT channel. I highly recommend this for a sensual romantic date night.

It is fresh and clean, on me it lasts an hour, pleasant and easy reach, had to respray throughout the day. I’m not a fan of peony at all😐Unfortunately I couldn’t smell any of the drydown notes except a light musk. There are better freshies out there, just get Ocean di Gioia

Hey perfume lovers! I finally find a dupe for this beauty.. it was really hard :D divainparfums.com has got the No. 154 which is more than 90% similar to Envy me. I recieved it yesterday and since than i'm just floating on nostalgia's cloud. It was my early 20s favourite scent.... the performance is good about 4-5 hours maybe more but i think is enough :) i'm really grateful for the experience <3

I wish they will bring this back.. my 1st designer perfume. So many memories with this scent. It smells really good in summer. Nothing ever smells like this perfume.

Definitely not getting most of the notes, but it is a fresh (not green) smelling beauty. I don’t love the scent of roses, but in this one I really like it. Do not overspray because this might be too much. Soft, girly, fresh, flirty.

To me this is an early 2000's version of a designer equivalent to Delina perfume without the middle eastern notes.

Pleasant but not groundbreaking. I was actually surprised when I looked at the notes... I definitely don't detect the tobacco in this, nor would I expect it to be part of the composition of a fragrance like this.

Envy Me is a bright, buoyant, feminine fragrance for spring. It is a happy and uplifting scent that is uncomplicated and projects a youthful, carefree essence.

The opening is fresh, fruity and floral. "Juicy" is how I would describe it. On me, the drydown leans heavily into the rose notes. This is not a fragrance with much projection, unfortunately. If you really want to project that happy, carefree, girly energy throughout your day, you may need to keep spraying this!

honestly it smells like a mix of sky di gioia and versace bright crystal it has a strong peony note and is fresh, not my cup of tea but it is nice and clean fragrance

This perfume smells exactly like Lehcaresor Rose Papier Poudre (powdered blotting paper) that my grandma used. This is more floral than fruity. I can barely smell the other fruity notes which is quite disappointing. It gives a linear scent because the rose and base notes are prominent all throughout. No matter how many times I smell it on my skin, clothes or bottle, I am hit with a dried roses bouquet or potpourri smell. It is heavier on the floral and also has a sharp, citrus scent probably from the pineapple. If you're a fan of rose scents then you might enjoy this.

i got one many years ago for my wife when we happens to see this on a fragrance roadshow. it was quite a new fragrance then. being an asian, i find it familiar and different to other fragrance at the roadshow. recently i stumble on this webby and i realise why we choose this.

It’s a simple fragrance but beautiful and fresh. Not heavy. Just a perfect sunny days perfume. It dries down beautifully too.

Rose and Peony stuff, but in a green, fresh, full of light and energy way. One of my favorites.

This was definently top 5 in the gucci family to me. They always discontinue the great. This is nice fruity floral for any occasion.

I coveted this perfume as a teen and would always spray it when going into Ulta or Sephora. It's sexy and flirty without being gourmand or vanilla. Upbeat and coquettish. I mainly smell the pink pepper, lychee, and peony with some musk. I love it and think it adds to any collection, the only downside is it being hard to find. It's one of the only fruitier leaning perfumes I like.

I was searching for a woman perfume and i came across clone of this perfume, first sniff and i loved it. If you are in dubai search for spectra no. 228, it is eau de perfume and bottle also looks same. Spectra makes clone of famous perfumes and bottles. It's cheap and long lasting.

I first smelled this on someone else back in the day, didn't like it. She over-sprayed it, years later I tried it on me and i fell in love! Now been looking for it but sadly discontinued (i got stock up of 2 bottles and still searching for it)

For scent, to me it opens up sharp floral which i don't like that much but once it settles/dried down, my god i can't stop smelling myself! This perfume lasts on me quite nice at the end of the day i still can smell from my cloth but i gotta be close it to it though. Family and friends say at the end of the day they still can smell a very soft and light touch of it when i walk by.

I was really excited about this scent and I do like it, however, the first sniff was all sweet soap. That pink pepper is no joke, the opening is like a spicy peony slapped me. The dry down though, excellent. It becomes this delicious gently sweet almost skin scent that I love. The aggressive opening doesn't last long thank god or I would regret getting it. I would say, if you are looking for a nonspicy floral, don't get this one.

It's definitely a nice floral scent and I like it, but I don't love it. Unfortunately it's just a bit too much peony and the lychee doesn't help! This one makes me sneeze every time! Pretty scent, but irritates my nose and reminds me of hayfever season.

You'll definitely find similarities in Versace Bright Crystal Absolu. I received my bottle of Versace and couldn't quite put my finger on the perfume that I had definitely smelled before. This is it. The pepper in Envy Me is very noticeable on me and the fruit is more tame than other fruity florals. This scent has a confident, edgy yet feminine feel if you could describe perfumes as a personality.

Ok, OK...I understand why some reviewers write this off as a typical fruity-floral frag, BUT...my sensitive sniffer picks up a lot of nuance in this. The opening brings lots of fruity-ness, but its across the spectrum from aquatic-juicy (litchi) to tangy and tropical (peach, pineapple), and it's all zipped up with the zesty pink pepper. In the middle is probably where Envy Me loses some people, it is a very classic peony-rose scent there. As the drydown unfolds, however, I get so much WHITE TEA peeking through the flowers and fruits, ahhh it's GLORIOUS! I love tea notes in perfume, especially white tea. Here, it melds wonderfully with the pineapple, musk, and woods notes. I can't get enough of the drydown. I came back to this perfume after not having sniffed it in about 15 years. It is as refreshing and enchanting as ever!

I'll always have an appreciation for this perfume because it was given to me by my dad. My bottle is almost done and I am so sad, I will surely rebuy it in the future.

I think it's a very pleasant, light, a bit fresh, a bit fruity, elegant but fun floral perfume. I usually dislike a lot of florals, but this is nice to me.

Very enjoyable smell. I think it's complex and sophisticated enough to wear as a signature scent. I don't think anyone would have a problem with smelling this on somebody else, I think it's very likeable.

Gosh, I really miss this scent y'all. I remember it was a gift from an ex that at first caught me off guard... I remember thinking the scent was odd_ too sharp and cold for me. At the time, I was always wearing Ralph and enjoyed that fruity and musky vibe. This was floral and peppery. So strange, and just not my style. However, I saw it was Gucci so I kept wearing it lol. I don't know at what point I decided I liked it, but I finished the huge bottle and was so sad when it was gone. I miss that scent, and feel that I could recognize it anywhere. Beyond sad it has been discontinued. Does anyone know where I could find a good dupe? Anyway, I miss this rose, pepper weirdo perfume, and it will always be one of my favorites. So fresh, chic and feminine :)

This is a truly beautiful, unique and complex composition. It is a fruity tobacco rose, so very juicy and extraordinary. Some things, like some perfumes, have just something about them, something you cannot put your finger on, a little something so alluring, so magnetic, so......... I do not have the proper words for Envy Me. It is the most beautiful romantic take on rose.

I remember the first time I tried 'Envy Me', on dry down it smelt like a beautiful medley of several flowers with rose, tuberose, marigold, magnolia, peony, jasmine, tagetes etc. irrespective of whether these notes are actually present or not. It also gave me the feeling of something just a tad bit like Dune, but if Dune was white gold, Envy Me was rose gold. We offer flowers at God's altar as a custom, and G-EM reminded me it. Also after drying down, it reminded me of the scent of a Sunsilk shampoo in the 90s with a silver shimmer and beautiful mauve / lavendar colour. But of late, I tried it, it felt like the petals were plucked out and whatever remained of it. Some people say its a meh scent, but I know it WAS NOT meh from what I recollect. I think the formula has changed several times to mimic popular perfumes. Such a metamorphosis in the formula in keeping up with the times, but I still miss that beautiful scent of old that is still fresh in my memory.

Very strong, straightforward peony/rose scent. I honestly barely get any fruity notes. Isn't particularly strong, but if you overspray it will be prominent all day.

This is one fresh and energetic fragrance that never fails to draw in the compliments! I first received my first bottle as a gift from my cousin. When I finished the bottle, I decided that I loved it enough to purchase a large bottle for myself. This fragrance is cheeky, youthful and full of spunk! Suitable for 20-something women on the go, but I still love it today as a 30-something woman still on the go ;).

My first time wearing this I HATED it, but either my nose, tastes, or body chemistry has changed, because I tried it again today on a lark and have to say I'm enjoying it.The first time I tried it I thought it was a really immature, fake-fruity scent. Even the drydown smelled soapy to me. I do still find the top notes overwhelmingly synthetic and I don't really get any florals out of it, but it's a very fresh/clean smell, and since I was just out of the shower, it worked for me today. I noticed as I was driving that the warmer I got, the more whiffs of really fresh soapy smell I got. Like a fresh shampoo kind of smell (I hadn't washed my hair, though). About two hours later, I got a nice berry scent from my wrists, which was unexpected but really pleasant. I assume that was the lychee coming through. Finally, the drydown came out as a subtly sweet, gently musky scent. I didn't get any sandalwood, but musk and tonka beans seems about right.

I'm really glad a gave Envy Me another shot, I was about to get rid of my bottle. But the complexity and character of this will keep my trying it for a while.

Subtle and discreet charm. An unforgettable love, for me.

I love this fragrance! I first bought it during a crazed collecting phase when I had run out of interesting ideas and saw this sitting on a shelf at a discount store. I sprayed it a few times initially, and didn't feel the love (thought it was just ok - because I was at that point just coming out of a major niche phase), but things completely changed as the months went on. For some reason I placed this one next to my bed (I have a bedtime ritual of testing perfumes) and it stayed there. I tried it again several times in the following months and slowly fell in love. Each time I spray this I think it's more and more beautiful - not just beautiful, but perfect. It's an EDT, but wears like an EDP. This is a fragrance that requires multiple wearings and maybe several chances.. I wasn't that excited originally, but now am looking for backup bottles because this is one I would be obsessively seeking if it were ever discontinued.

Sweet, pretty, peony with some sparkling fruitiness. My now-husband bought this for me circa 2006 and it brings back happy memories. Longevity is great and I feel like I smell pretty when I'm wearing this. Say it's for girls age 20-25 all you want, but I'm dang near 40 and I love it!

This was my first perfume that I bought and I loved it, I remember that always I kept it in its box and each time I wanted to wear I took it out.

My first Gucci fragrance, a small vial was included in a recent purchase. At first I was quite excited to try this famous house frag, but that excitement evaporated quickly - unlike the perfume! It does have staying power, I'll give it that much.
Envy me is sweet and fruity, there's a strong note of peach or nectarine. Sadly, I don't get any litchi, which I happen to love to eat.
There's nothing really wrong with Envy me, but there's nothing really special about it either. It seems like I've smelled frags like this before, but didn't bother to purchase the bottle.
This is the problem with many modern frags, especially the sweet/sugary/fruity ones - they're a bit thin, a little predictable and almost interchangeable. There's a cheapness to frags that depend on fruits and sugars. How many fruit notes can be incorporated before the frag becomes a fruit salad?
I'm probably too fond of classic fragrances to fully appreciate the modern scents, but I doubt that many of the modern fruit scents will stand the test of time to become classics.
Envy me will be a nice addition to a sample box, someone else will surely appreciate this frag.

Nice peony scent but not so special. I don't get any fresh fruity like summery scent in here

I was a teen around 2005 and practically begged my mom to buy me this one from the local perfume shop. It smell véry fruity, but with a bit of kick from the pepper, so it doesn't come across as overly sugary, and it dries down to a rose/musk on my skin. It evokes low-rise bootcut jeans, small purses, shimmery eyeshadows and an overload of mid-OO's pink in my mind :-) I think most people boght it for the logo on the bottle, which was a big thing back then.

Just got it and since it was discontinued I thought I'd grab it, first spray was pretty impressive, some sort of musky, flowery with a tobacco note. Then later it started not working for me. Smelled pretty awful, synthetic, heavy unpleasant something like unwashed clothes or such. I don't know why it would smell so bad and cheap like from oriflame or whatever maybe was the expired discontinued batch who knows. Really disappointed.

for me this is very lichi - and I love it as a drastic change from my normal oriental taste (YSL opium / Elie Saab Intense EDP). When I cannot take them in summer, this sort of flowery citric grapefruity and lichee thing works really well.

In summer I stay away from the oriental and goes back to the basics :)

What can I say. Gucci Envy Me is another guilty pleasure of mine,. It is totally basic, for the 20-25 demographic, and maybe that is why. I love peonies, pepper and pomegranates, which is why I'm drawn to this. If this scent was a human, it would have been the popular girl circa 2004. Think Mean Girls, but not as mean. Definitely unabashedly flirty, without being too sugary or over the top.

Finally a tobacco fragrance that doesn't make me nauseous! In fact, I really like this. It's light, fresh, and a good representation of the early 2000s.

I bought this from Europe while I was on holiday back in July/August.
I didn't use it, up until I came back home. To be honest, this didn't do anything in summer/spring for me absolutely nothinggg.
The notes looked lovely, but I couldn't pick out anything. I started thinking it was generic/cheap smelling. So I put it amongst my other perfumes. Not touched for quiet a while.
Tonight I was trying on a few perfumes because I have an engagement coming up.
I thought (give it ago) and to my surprise guess whatttt? It finally worked!!! Like I was freaking out lol. This smells a little medicinal but it's fruity GOODNESS!

In all that being said, I sprayed it on at 8PM it's now 12AM & I can still smell it.
I guess perfumes that don't work on me during the day, work on me at nights.
It's lovely.
My new night time fruity favourite. I'll be spraying away because I have a full bottle & not many fruity fragrances work on me at nights except for Sofia Vergara!

My absolute all time favorite scent.. just wish it had a bit my re staying power.. always get compliments on it and feel so beautiful when wearing it..

On first spritz I immediately thought fresh, juicy, fruity floral fragrance- nothing spectacular, but nothing bad, just pleasant. However, there is something very artificial and synthetic about the drydown in this fragrance. It smells of a child's expensive doll, you know the ones that are made out of a rubbery plastic type material so that the skin looks and feels somewhat like real skin. This is what the drydown is like, with hints of mango and rose in the background. I honestly detect no other notes except from mango and rose in this scent and do not understand why all the other notes were thrown in as they are undetectable to the nose. I wouldn't buy this, smelling of a synthetic plastic rubber doll is not what I am looking for in a fragrance. This was a miss for me personally. there is a reason why it is cheaper than the other Gucci's, this is just not in the same league.

Sillage is very poor, your skin will simply smell like a rubbery plastic doll.

Girly, SPRING-ly feminine type of scent. Fits perfectly for those who love Peony and Rose. Its not cloying but I'd rather use this sparingly, as the humid hot weather can render this watery thin and will have very poor longevity. I was expecting more since this seems to be the baby sister of the original Envy. You could do better than this Gucci!

Pretty but boring. Looks and smells like something you can buy at Avon for 1/10 of the price. And doesn't last long at all, so if you're looking for some vibe and personality from this one, I think you might be disappointed a bit. Nice bottle, great for luggage though.

Envy Me is very pretty, flirty, fun and easy to wear. The litchi, peony and rose are most prominent yet blend seamlessly so that none of them overpowers. Although this is a nice perfume, there's nothing that distinguishes it from the abundance of other rose/peony-based fruity florals...if you already own one of them, you don't need this one too.

Fruity floral that is balanced and non linear, I can absolutely see why it got so popular.

One of the few representatves of this genre that I really like. Sweet fruits are grounded with some darker notes of seringa, sandalwood, ad musk while the whole composition is being freshened up with a shampoo-like floral notes.

Freshness and tackiness united to produce a sense of a feminine étalon, as madly as it sounds,it simply works.

It also reminds me of how a good beauty parlour smells.

I've been wanting to try on this perfume since I've been looking for a summer/spring fragrance and saw several people on the net suggesting this. They also say it draws compliments and I've been also on the lookout for such - so I was so excited when this bottle arrived.

I saw so many people here commenting that this fragrance is forgettable and not unique but I beg to disagree. I believe that yeah, it's somewhat reminiscent to a lotion I have sniffed before (still a good thing) - but that's it. The combination of the notes for me is great. They are nothing I have smelled before.

I love this. I've always been blind-buying perfumes (I know, not a good thing to do). And so far - this Gucci Envy Me is that top perfume that I did not regret getting.

All in all - I love that the scent is light: floral/fruity with a hint of masculinity and green notes. Ahhhh, I love sniffing it on my wrist. When the wind blows on me, I could smell other notes I cannot decipher. Haha. Soooo lovely. Contemplating on making this my signature perfume. Guess I have to look on other Gucci perfumes too.

Also, this is one perfume that has good sillage. I seldom have a bottle of perfume that I smell around me immediately. Most perfumes I got, has to be sprayed a lot before I could smell it on me but this one's soooo great - considering it's just an EDT!!!!

Bottomline: if you love fruity/floral scents that are NOT overly sweet, you should try this!

I am loving this perfume, really. Really. The pink pepper adds some oomph to it!! Plus, the drydown is superb! Creamy sort-of vanillic floral (if that's possible). Lovely!! Ugh, cannot get enough of sniffing on my wrists.

This is such an all-rounder crowd pleaser for spring, summer and the beach! On me it lasts all day and I get so many compliments from both men and women. This is not a complicated or sexy fragrance, but in terms of floral summer fragrances go, at least it's clean, classy and sassy!

Peony.... Envy me...

I like the opening composition of happy fruits. When the peony and litchi come in the scent softens and becomes creamy tropical. Base is musky with a hint of rose. It's a likable fragrance, but is there anything to envy a woman wearing it?

Smells like grease at the initial spray, it must be the tobacco. Very harsh & rough but it settled in about a minute. After that the litchi dominated with some peony, and something a bit musky... The more it developed on my skin the more note that i really love in perfumes come out, it is ROSE. Yes, it becomes more rossy after that. But not a straight away roses. It's smells more like fresh-sweet/fruity-woody/spicy-ROSES with really good warm feeling at the dry down. I don't get the juicy pineapple, pomegranate & the pink pepper that much, well maybe just a hint. It does smells a bit spicy from the pink pepper & tobacco. Jasmine, ermmm she is lost & left somewhere behind this time but i hope i can smell her a bit actually. Envy Me smells a bit masculine but settled to a very romantic & pretty sweet roses. In my opinion this is not a casual scent, it's more for a formal, work or any event & all year around kind of scent. Anytime, day or night, hot day or cold. It's versatile. But 1 thing i've noticed about Envy Me, been 2 weeks wearing it when i wore it outdoor under hi-temperature, the sweet-spicy smells of tobacco seems lauder than the fruits but at least i'm sweat a bit then the sweet-fruity-woody-roses will show themself. Litchi, she's really star of the show in cold day. But you can't get away from the roses & peony. Dare i say Envy Me smell quite similar to Versace Bright Crystal because both have the same fresh vibes. But obviously Bright Crystal is more to aquatic-fruity/citrusy-floral, while Envy Me is more to fresh-fruity-rossy with some spicy/woody twist in it. Let's just say, Envy Me is a darker/formal-elegant version of Bright Cristal. About the perfomance, it has very impressive longevity for an EdT. Lasts all day on me even after shower, still got some of it left on my skin. Projects moderately. 'Like' for Envy Me, not yet 'Love' it i think eventho i love rose perfumes. But this stuff is a must have. Wearable & likeable.

very girly sweet and romantic scent, happy one

Wonderful smell, warm and soft. Opens fresh at the beginning due to the pineapple and becomes more and more rosy and smooth. It's romantic and tender and easy to wear all day. If you are looking for a fresh but warm rose scent, this is perfect and unique.

It is a nice scent for hot summer days.

bouquet of nice flowers. That's what I smell. Delicate, pleasant, but I don't picture a mature woman wearing this. More for teens and youngsters. Moderate longetivity, and the sillage isn't that good.

the first spray is very heavy on apricot which I found it's quite similar to Incanto Heaven. The drydown is like every other floral-fruity category.

I like it I smelled it one day when I was buying my favorite Gucci rush I asked to smell this perfume I liked it soft and pine-apply, someone complimented me the first I wore it, I love the exotic smell makes me feel like im on an island or going to get there somehow, I will just continue sniffing this n the meantime

This is a very sexy scent, even the name is provocative. I smell the tobacco but its mostly fruity and fresh. It smells very young and modern. I have been wanting it for a while and although it was a blind buy i dont regret it. im actually happy to have this apart of my collection.

It's a somewhat annoying floral, with harsh green notes (they scratch in your throat) and tropical fruity notes. I cannot really smell any of the notes listed, it's like a multifruit juice: Taste somehow like fruit but one cannot say which actual fruits. And this smells somehow like flowers, but one cannot really detect any actual flower's smell.
But still, it smells cool and I think I'm going to buy it again.

Fruity, floral, fresh. Somehow both young and dated at the same time, which is confusing. Like all fresh scents I have tried so far, I can only picture myself wearing this when going to the gym.

I usually really don't like fruity fragrances but this is quite fresh and pleasant. Quite subtle, I don't think I tested enough to get a good impression but I don't see this offending anyone. It is the tea, musk and pepper which really balances it out, this is almost aquatic, it's fresh like I said, it hasn't got any sickly fruit notes which usually turn me off. Very pleasant. Sillage and longevity is only moderate, I can imagine someone who has projection issues might need to apply this pretty frequently.

This is more fruity (sour and fresh kind of fruity not sticky sweet kind of fruity) than floral on me in the heat of tropical weather. No pepper at all. Have a strong tea scent if i sprays this on clothes.

Definitely make a cool light summer scent.

I hate the TV commerial. It doesn't make sense at all. The whole heavily mark up woman and a (half?) naked guy in an dark place with lots of leaf and a snake???? The TV commercial is so disconnected with the actual scent in this glass/pink patterned bottle, it is almost embarrassing to watch.

I bought it from a shop which allowed testing and I had no idea why I bought this. This was the perfume I hated most among everything I ever owned. Cheap, fruity, way too sweet - there is no sophistication whatsoever to it. Could not bring myself to finish it.

I tried quite some sweet fruity smell but I guess this is going to be my favourite! Even my boy says I'm smelling good! And peach has always been my favourite note for perfume selection.

The peony in this made me think of bright crystal. But they re not too similar to me. Bright crystal is much brighter (just as the name suggested :p) and more aquatic. While envy me is fruitier and somewhat less birght. It's as if envy me is bright crystal under a veil, with extra smoky fruits.

Gucci Envy Me is one of those girl next door perfumes that's pretty, fun and flirty. Unfortunately, I also found it to be flat and forgettable.

On my skin, this is very synthetic. This scent is familiar to me, so I've definitely smelt it on others before. It's a little sweet, a little green, and also complex, clean and soapy. It reminds me of shampoo. The dry-down is a nondescript fruity-floral smell. In Envy Me's favour, it isn't too sweet, and I think it's unlikely to offend anyone.

All in all, it doesn't sing on my skin, so I don't really care for it. To each their own :) Sillage is soft; lasts for about 4-5 hours.

My favorite scent as of now. It last 2 hours on my skin. But scent still smells on my blouse. Makes me feel nice.

I got this once as present I couldnt believe my friend would associate this with me. At the time it didnt smell similar to anything and while it was a perfect teen scent I didnt know what to do with it. It was too girly fruity sweet it just wasnt me. I wore it all year round and finally emptied the 100ml bottle. Now I agree burberry smells similar which makes burberry generic, not gucci.
Even though I didnt appreciate this happy scent at the time as it didnt match my grumpy state of mind I am thankful I had it, it changes the way I look at that period of my life it somehow seems like happy times.
P.s. I've got this memory in my mind I had this before 2004 ....I am pretty sure it was before that as I had moved out in 2004..hm...

I agree with people who say this perfume 'smells cheap'. It does. I usually like flowery scents, but this one isn't that good for me. Maybe because that 'sharp' feel when I sniff it. The dry down isn't very nice either.

Fresh delicate floral that lasts all day. Grapefruit, pineapple, green apples and lilies is what I smell. I love this. I can't find it anywhere....:(

Bottle is just so cute and love this smell! Smell of berries, citrus fruits, its sweet and fresh at the same time. Although a generic smell, I do like it.

I don't know why so many people like this scent. To me it just smells like I'm around a pharmacy or some type of medicine. It is a very clean fragrance though.

At first application the notes are kinda complex, like a synthetic smelling soap. But having high hopes for Gucci, I gave it another try, rub it off and after 15 minutes.. Hhmmmm.. the drydown develops nicely into a clean, floral scent with a hint of tea - WONDERFUL!
After a few more minutes, i've detected its resemblance with Burberry Brit Sheer which I also own. Very girly and cheerful! Good sillage but lacks longevity and uniqueness.

This smells like drunk (on pina colada) sex in the Carribbean :) -smells like rich kids having an exotic carefree vacation -its yummy,exotic, melts on your skin and it goes to your head.
Its rare that a perfume smells so delish, like bubble gum and shampoo, but still has a bitter sort of base,that gives sofistication, and has such a sillage and longevity.(incredible for a EDT), it melts in my pores and becomes my own skin's smell.
I dont see this being the most appropriate "business" perfume as stated below, but I do see it projecting a happy bubbly mood and getting you through a hard day at work.. Its not suitable for a bride but it is for a sexy maid of honour, because its sooo playful and flirtatious...

Sweet and fruity. No need to go in detail about the top, heart and base notes. Lasts long after a two or three sprays on the skin. Gives a sense of sophistication, class and sexiness. Gucci needs to bring this piece of heaven back.

I would really love this if it wasn't for the tobacco note in it. It's light, fresh, exactly the kind of fragrance I normally go for, but it is ruined by the smell of cigarette smoke. Disappointed in this one!

This perfume is just a mish-mash of notes clashing with each other. I'm not sure which is worse...the thick smell of peach and pineapple or the cloying smell of jasmine and mango.
This really smells more like one of those Dollar Store perfumes than a Gucci.

A flora, very optimistic and charismatic fragrance! It was my choice for today and everything went perfect! Zaten şişesinin ebatları ve tipi itibariyle resmen acısını içimde hissettim. :) Çünkü şişesi gayet büyük ebatlarda, dar, uzun ve köşeli bir yapıda. ;)

Yalnız işin kötü tarafı bu parfümü sıktığımı unutarak yarım saat sonra arkadaşların çağrısıyla buluşmaya gittik. Ben dahil toplam 4 erkek arkadaş buluştuk ve otururken herkes durmadan burnunu çekerek bir şeylerin kokusunu almaya çalışıyordu. Parfüm tutkumu bile diğer tüm arkadaşlarım gibi buluştuğum arkadaşlardan biri sonunda dayanamayarak "aga yaa bu koku senden mi geliyor, yan masadaki kızdan mı? Eğer senin parfümünse gözünü seveyim bu parfümü bir daha sıkma, bir hoş oldum. Allah muhafaza günaha sokarsın adamı" dedi. Tabi ben de önce afalladım sonra da gülmeye başladık. Kısaca tecrübeyle sabittir ki bu koku kesinlikle erkekler üzerinde gayet çekici hatta tahrik edici etkiler yaratabiliyor. :)

Genç kızlar için de bence son derece uygun ama gözünüzü seveyim dozu kaçırmayın. Hem siz başınıza iş açarsınız hem de içeriğinin biraz şekerli olması yüzünden sıcak havalarda milleti bayıltma riskiniz yüksek.

Dozu ayarlanamazsa sıcak günlerde bayıltıcı ve itici olabilir. Çok soğuk havalarda da fazla çekingen bir hal alacak bir yapıya sahip.

Kalıcılık ise EDT olmasının hakkını vererek ılık havalarda yarım günü buluyor. Belki sıcak havalarda daha uzun süre etki gösterebilir. Yine de küçük dozlarda kullanılmasını ve şişe ebatları yüzünden yanınızda bir atomizer ile gün içinde tazelenmesinin daha güzel olacağını düşünüyorum.

its one of my favorite fragrances and i can smell it the whole day long. it has just a perfect balance between the different notes. its not too strong, not too soft, very ladylike and for any occasion!

My go-to scent! Fresh and floral, not too overpowering. Perfect for if you are just hanging around the house or running errands.

Fresh floral perfume. There a lot of peony in it. I can also sense some pineapple. It smells so ordinary, it leaves me no impression. Nothing to envy here.

A lovely girly scent which doesn't offend other pple , I love it bt have to apply again and again

If you're seeking a fragrance which is fresh, clean and light withouth reminding air freshener to the slightest, nor having any raw edges - Envy Me is for you!

It's pretty, lasts for a long time and has a lovely "floaty" sillage. I get whafts of it throughout the day, which is rather surprising given how delicate the scent seems at first.

I liked this one many years ago, even wondered if buy or not. Unfortunately, now it does not have stillage on my skin. And also, after an hour, starts to be sour.

Without going into individual notes, I'd say this is too simple, like many other drugstore colognes, with the florals stepping into old lady territory. The only saving grace for me was the drydown which is a more complex musk. I like it, but not enough to want-list it.

GUCCI ENVY ME is a Wonderful light clean fresh scent not overpowering or powdery. Super clean smelling and feminine. I lived in the Southern CA Desert when I first bought this and wore it daily 104 degrees F, at work etc... casual and elegant - jeans to dressy. Not an annoying fragrance at all. Powder perfumes and cloying edgy synthetics are not for me this smells real and spring like! Has a vibrant vibe to it, love it! BTW over 40 not a teen and choke smelling the popular body sprays vanilla, fruit, and heavy powder junk lots of younger people wear.

Way too one dimensional. To me this is a dupe for Kenzo Flower, strong on the violet and not much else. Good for a very young girl.

I absolutely love this for casual wear spring/summer! I had the Versace Bright Crystal which I disliked and I can see why some find this similar -- I would say only for the first half hour but the notes for this one holds through to it's base whereas Bright Crystal turns into something like the generic VS body mists.

So girly, fresh and happy. For a teenager with style. Not sophisticated at all, but a pretty nice scent.

fruity floral fragrance in general .... very sweet for the taste of a mature woman and i think it’s a good choice for woman who likes to play it safe; fresh, ordinary and sickly sweet.

My sister used to wear this. Though the bottle has a cute gucci logo, when she initially wore it she asked me if I liked it and I honestly said no because I thought it smelled like nail polish remover upon spraying INCLUDING base notes. She would ask me time and time again because she wouldn't understand why I didn't like it. I would like to try Envy. I hope it doesn't smell ANYTHING like this! (Crossing fingers)

EDIT 04/05/22: To my surprise, I think it smells ok now. 😄 It's definitely fresh smelling-a category I LOVE. I obtained my sister's old bottle. It had quite a bit left, so I'm testing it out every now and then to see if it's actually a "like 🙂" or an "ok 😐." It's crazy, I've never been confused on fragrance decisions like these before🤔...🤷 I'm assuming I'm not a fragrance snob anymore. After all these years of only bathing in all my favorite scents, my nose has become more forgiving throughout the years. So weird! 🤯

a sweet fruity floral fragrance yet another by gucci,
this is my first ever buy of a lady perfume,and i liked it,but unluckily it stays on my skin not for more than 2 hours or so,
so thinking of swapping it for another lady perfume.

I had this perfume for at least 4 years now.
At first I used it almost always and then I stopped because I wanted to preserve whatever was left for a while.
After all this time it didn't turn bad, so the % of alcohol isn't high!
It smells of : roses, roses, roses, pink pepper. Oh and I forgot roses!
Honestly I can't smell anything else.
It's a really light fragrance on me. After a while I can smell only the spiciness of pink pepper, which I learned is my most favorite and recurrent note.
I think it has a weak-moderate ( on skin up to 2h -3h) longevity, suits well with warm weather and should be used in daylight.
When sprayed on hair, lasts 12h +, even after working at gym. I swear!
Not a remarkable fragrance, probably a transitory one.
Today I finished it and maybe If I have a chance, I'll buy it again in the future. Who knows!
I won't keep the empty bottle, because honestly the packaging is really really under average.

Girly but mature, suitable to anyone, though. This is my love at first sniff and has been my most favorite scent so far. However, it doesn't last long on my skin (personally, it would last only a couple of hours) but because I love the scent so much so I still keep buying it.

I bought this perfume a few years ago and was very dissapointed,it was a blind buy,I immidiately dislike the smell it was very synthetic,boring and pretty heavy on me.

Two words: rich, and clean. It reminds me of something a beverly hills housewife would wear. It is pleasant and powdery, and distinctive. It smells expensive. Like really high-end deodorant or something. But I like it.

Got a sample of this today... first impression was a pungent, synthetic floral, peony and rose with pepper... It starts smelling a little soapy, like a rose scented cleaner, and that's how it smells on my skin from then on... A comment I seen said it smells like hair products, I totally agree with that - it smells like a shampoo. Not my cup of tea though. Lucky I got the sample first.

I was quite disappointed with this perfume. It gave me just handaches...

I hate this perfume with all my heart. it cause me nauseating . I bought this several years ago and well, pretend to like this perfume just because I own it. so sad that this perfume smell cheap like $1 cologne in a market. too sweet, too candy and the bottle is too simply. maybe because i'm a big fan of heavy oriental woody spicy balmy fragrance.
If you are teens maybe it's good for you. I really angry when my lil' sister spray this when she went to school. get out over here or throw the bottle away from me.

This smells like Escada Jardin de Soliel

This is again one of my transition perfumes... if we were to chart it... i went from blues to light pinks to dark pinks to purples and now black toned bottles... more or less! =)

That being said...this was in my light pink era where i was moving away from my beloved Light Blue by D&G and craving some pink...but not bubble gum or cotton candy pink...more like pink lemonade. And this fit the bill to a T.

It really is a citrusy fresh perfume that has a sweet woody warm quality to it. It's very similar to Versace's Bright Crystal but with a bit more oomph!

very fresh and green, not for me but a younger person may enjoy the green and white tea notes. Mine was an unsolicited sample, strange because it came with femme rochas and mauboussin, opposite end of the 'fume spectrum.

I have been wanting it for a long time I wasn't dissapointed when I got it it's amazing how can the Gucci group produce such special scents it's mainly fruity but very outstanding and unique unlike any other widely used fruity perfume I smell mainly the litchi and pomergrante with musk as a base the litchi gives the a feeling af a chocolate hint though it doesn't exist I really like it it's happy and sexy at the same time good job Gucci :)

This smells like a green tea undertone to me. It smells like this desert... But otherwise, it's best on a hot night.

Headache in a bottle for me!!! There was nothing to Envy about this perfume...it smelled like a sink of Joy dishsoap on me. Thank goodness it was a gift. Very disasppointed.

Gucci Envy me = U by Ungaro Avon

Rose, rose and more rose, lifted by litchi but yes still predominantly a rose scent on my skin, from first spray (two hours ago) til now. Light, pretty, fruity, rosy.

This is a very sexy perfume that takes away to a tropical paradice sipping on a litchi martini!! Itz so sweet and elegant. The perfect delicious fragrance for spring and summer <3

first time i like it then when i bought it it was so bad and all i notice is Rose from the beginning to end! nothing else!!

Rose from the beginning to end... the usual rose... the one we find in every fragrance for woman...mixed with spices (pepper?) at the beginning, and transformed into something less sharp by fruit after a bit. It doesn't change, and it doesn't even release those woodsy notes I have been expecting until it faded.. Yawn.

I love this perfume, simply love it! This is one of my favorite spring/summer fragrances. This is girly, fresh, pretty, pink and fruity with an amazing, sexy peony note! So gorgeous! Yes, it resembles to Versace BC and Burberry Brit Sheer but this one is a lot more complex and sophisticated! I find it very young and flirty, a perfect pink perfume IMHO!

So pretty. Reminds me of Bright Crystal except Bright Crystal is a little more sweet-glamorous, whereas I find this one a little bit more peppery at times.

This is such a forgettable fragrance. Get the burberry brit sheer scent instead. They are similar but at least the burberry scent has a scent that I can remember LOL.

This s a pretty rose scent, it smells nice but on me it gets a bit sharp, but for spring it would do fine, it has a 70ties edge, not sure why it smells that way to me, probably because it is very floral. But it is feminine, and elegant in a way. Not much wrong with it.

I love this fragrance. It's perfect for spring. Sexy but not super floral. However this fragrance tends to wear off in two hours. If it wasn't for that, this would be my signature Spring/Summer scent.

I tried this recently and grudgingly as I am still annoyed they have discontinued Gucci Envy.

Well I was secretly hoping it might be an Envy flanker with some similarities, but there are no similarities between this and Gucci Envy.

However, it's really lovely in its own way. I got a light floral that turned into a delightful clean laundry/luxury soap sort of scent that lingered for around 3 hours.

I don't think it will ever be a favourite of mine, but I certainly wouldn't turn it down if I got a bottle as a gift.

This is definitely my signature scent. My sister bought a bottle for herself and the first time she wore it, I just couldn't stop smelling and wonder what that heavenly smell came from.

The dry down is the very best, is a very light, creamy, sweet woodsy scent.

When you first spary it might come too strong for some people but after you let it air for a acouple of minutes, the smell is just wonderful.

It's a very feminine floral perfume for all ages. More floral than fruity, the peony and pink pepper dominate, but stays pleasant and fresh. On my opinion it's long lasting daytime scent,so I love it:)

Envy me is a nice floral-fruity! I get mostly the peony,the rose,the lichee and the pineapple! The dry down is soft and feminine with the musk and the sandal wood! The peony and the rose stays on throughout the all fragrance! Perfect for day time! Love it!

This is a fruity white musk scent. Lasts around 2 hours then pretty much disappears.

Definately a tamer pinapple and green than found in regular Envy (which is good as they were way too loud for me) but this scent is otherwise pretty generic.

It has no qualities to set it apart. Smells nice, that's about it.

I like this scent but it is not one of my most used. It's a fresh and sweet fragrance and is really soft.

I have two bottles of this perfume but I haven't used them yet. But I got a sample at the store & I can say that it has a sweet floral scent with hints of musk. The bottle is quite lovely. I love the pink bows (?) on the bottles. Very cute. 9/10

Light fruity floral.

I would say that the leading notes in this fragrance are the peony note and the pineapple note.

I don't like this fragrance. Just one of the light pink girlish fragrances, besides the peony note smells not too natural. Not my cup of tea for sure(

I bought this one after asking a shop assisant to pick something that's similar to Burberry Brit Sheer. It's very sweet and real refreshing, the scent of Lychees and Jasmines amazingly got me :)

Though, I like it more than Burberry Brit Sheer, I won't buy it again, because the scent's gone too quick, I never smell its base note scent ie. musk left on my skin.

Somehows,I don't think the name 'Envy Me' suits the scent. I choose to wear it in the mornings for simply days or lazy weekends.

Envy me? oh, please, don't be silly. It's just a plain floral scent and very flat one too. it doesn't have anything special, and at some point the scent is not pleasant at all. it's just like a soap or shampoo, you may like it's floral fragrance, but it's just not something you would buy in a bottle. On my skin, it's boring, flat and dissapears after ten minutes, leaving a very soapy scent.
I love the bottle, though. Wish the scent made same impression!

I've tested this one twice. I think its a sub-standard floral. I detect too much green in there. I realize they might be going for the.natural rather smell or something but it gives me a raging headache. Original envy is better. This one was despicable.

All I am getting is yucky floral, this in no way smells like Brit Sheer no where close.

I get a lot of grapefruit and some other crispy citrus, maybe mandarin. Then a bush of white flowers, mostly peony. Very likable and beautiful, great for office on casual fridays and weekends when chillin`out with your friends and family.

Bought this because of the reviews, and all I got was a very strong floral fume.. all peony i think! instant headache.. Yuk!! Back to the store it went!

It's very nice and floral, sweet and fresh in the same time,I love it! It's not like Versace Bright Crystal in my opinion.

"Aquatica" said this one is "floral fruity gourmand", and that pretty much sums it up! There is something suggestive of cake, to me, and of course, the presence of fruit, and to a lesser degree: flowers. I like it, mostly perhaps because it reminds me of something from my past I can't quite put my finger on...

This is one of my all time fav perfumes,. Those who doesn't like it I must say that not all perfumes that you think is good will work well on you as that depends on your body chemistry, you'll smell the real scent of a perfume if it jives on your body chem so it is really important that you have to test is first before you buy so there will be no regrets. This perfume works well on my body chemistry, this is something really feminine and free spirited perfume, delicate, not strong. I used to wear this at daytime. This is for those who wants to emphasize their femininity. I so love it... They definitely should ENVY me as it works perfectly well on my body.

I would rather consider this as floral fruity gourmand. It starts with floral scents, continues with sweet, fruity and in the drydown smells like caramel to me.

renux2000 , you got the point ! It really smells ( after i use it a lot , and start to get bored of it ) like plastic and alcohol- something too overpowering , it gives me a nausea.

It's a light, beautiful floral fragrance but it doesn't last very long on me. A spring scent during the day.

Although i really enjoy this perfume, it can get a bit boring at times. It definitely does not stick out, it's just your typical floral, sweet, girly smelling perfume, nothing to envy over ;P

I really like this. This to my nose is essentially a rose scent. It's not sweet at all though as the pink packaging etc would suggest. It's got slight resemblance to Chloe for me (the new one with the bow on it hehe) the rose in both these perfumes is that clean crisp rose. Very nice!

The fruits in here are also quite crisp, even though there is peach which normally smells dry, fuzzy and heavy. The other notes in here keep this perfume light and airy.

I feel quite refreshed wearing it which I really like in a perfume. I'd give it a thumbs up!!

Very feminine, yet not too sweet. Love how the pink pepper gives it a kick.

Such a refreshing fruity perfume. i love this and have gone through 2 bottles and i never tire of it. Reminds me a bit like dior addict 2. Suitable for day wear i think. Difficult to find now though :)

One of the best fruity florals I've tried. Refreshing but still a little warm. Gucci Envy Me is not sexy as it is marketed to be, but overall a pleasing scent, not to mention quite long lasting considering it is an edt.

nice bottle very pleasant scent. Florant, gentle, lasting power is horrible. on my skin just 2-3 hours. never mind. Its still worth the price. I LOVE IT:) it´s not strong, vulgar scent. I smell white flowers and white body milk. I smell something green as well. But NO citruses- good:) I am wondering how the green version smells:) anyone help me?

Yeap, here’s definitely one from the “pink line” (as I call some of my perfumes) - girly, safe, sometimes even boring. Still – there’s something in it that keeps me coming back. Probably it’s the peonies, because of childhood memories… This perfume is the definition of peony on my skin. But I have to admit – with time our bond grows weaker. Maybe it’s because I evolve, and this is just a plain and uncomplicated scent.

I had a sample. I didn't feel comfortable using it because the fragrance doesn't match my personality. This really may be about envy! Because the fragrance is so mean and acid-like in my perception. I haven't met a similar fragrance on my way, Brit Sheer was different, more cold and pink velvety. All in all the notes are a bit of mess that creates the sweet acid and malicious appear. Envy Me is quite strong, with good sillage. I quickly got tired of it. No, Gucci isn't my favourite brand...

I had it and since the first day I absolutely hated it. It moved on to my mother's.

I like this perfume , it's very nice and fresh but does anyone think that it smells like alcohol ? or my just my nose , lol The Envy Me 2 it's too much better

Smells good. Light, warm, nice and girly. Noticeable but boring. It is as though you have smelled it before. I would buy this one, but not a big bottle. Anddd the bottle is like an unstable tower. You have to be extremely careful not to accidentally push it and broke it.

It's a type of perfume that will lasts me for long and won't repurchase it.

Nothing to envy you. Boring, simple, ala aguilera scent. Definetely not worth the price.

Very beautiful scent, one of my all time favorites. It is fresh and distinctive, and gets me compliments every time. It doesn't seem to last to long on my skin though, so I have to keep a mini bottle in my purse.

Yes, this really reminds me of my favourite scent "Bright Crystal", just like a less sweet version and therefore more for people who like it less sweet. Very elegant and suitable for everyday life.

This reminds me of the 2008'summer,now I don't use to wear it.It's very fruity,I can feel very well the pineapple,the peach,the litchi.The lasting power it's ok,about 6-7 hours.It's pretty nice,perfect for summer but if I wear it too much it makes me sick.

i really like this perfume even though i am not into sweet perfumes but i actually really liked and i will be purchasing it soon !!! so guys its worth a try just go into a store and smell it !!

Smells sweet and floral sharp, a little sickly sweet and to strong. Guess it depends on body chemestry.

LOVE IT!=) Its one of those fragrances that is fresh,soft and so feminine,without being too sweet, fruity nor heavy like most other 'girly/feminine' perfumes are. It makes me feel like a sophisticated and classy young woman whenever I wear it.LOL.it stays for a considerate amount of time and is perfect for everyday casual/office wear.

Packaging is simple yet gorgeous, but I don't think its a smart idea to make a thick glass bottle with skyscraping high stature having such a narrow base. It can easily topple over with the slightest tilt, so ladies u do want to place it somewhere at the back of ur perfume counter for safety.

I think this is more for women who dont like heavy perfumes and actually prefer light/cooling ones, like me. Im guessing most negative reviews here come from those who prefer perfumes with more heaviness,depth and warmth. Thats why they refer it as having a soap/shower smell. I personally cant stand heavy ones like Britney Fantasy ( which many love but i think is the most sickening thing ever).

Overall this is a great perfume, one of the perfumes to top my list and though a tad expensive its pretty worth to buy or at least try. I give it a 9/10. ;)

Tried it and its nice , smells like some generic just out of a shower smell . Nothing interesting about it .
