Smells exactly like the original Marc Jacobs daisy, I found this in the clearance section at boots for £2 bargain

Yardley Daisy is a soft fragrance and suitable for Spring or Summer time wearing. This was bought on a blind buy when I saw it online at a reduced price and I thought I would give it a go. To me Daisy smells like a crisp apple with slight musk undertones. I found it to be very subtle and quite delicate. The bottle is quite modern and looks great. I haven’t seen it online again for awhile but still have plenty left despite having to reapply it. It’s a pretty fragrance but it will need to be reapplied often due to it being a toilette.

There's no 'magic moment' between us but it's inoffensive and bland, so I won't sharpen my knives. 'Meh' is right and the price at the discounters shouldn't draw you towards it. If practically giving it away is the motivation, Buy Madame Gres or Lumiere Noire (by Gres) instead. Buy Tocade or Ivoire, or Lovely, or Balmain, Burberry Brit Rhythm or Noa.

This is lovely, apples fade to s clean floral after half an hour on me.

A perfume to wear on a spring or summer walk in the British countryside.

Inexpensive scent which smells inexpensive and basic, but is nice and fresh, it is fine considering the cost.
Fades quickly, not a strong scent at all, light for spring and summer, and good for teenagers I would imagine.

Daisy is very fruity on my skin, and disguises the green notes completely. I'm disappointed about this but doesn't mean it's a stupid sugary scent either.

Daisy is quite a soft rounded fruity scent, except the opening, maybe lasts about 1 min. For the rest of phrases, it's a skin scent, smells something like pear or peach sorbet with a slightly powdery base. Very pretty, though not my cup of tea nor right scent for my age (30+).

Lovely, light, uplifting, gentle & uncomplicated..that's how I think of this little gem. Bought it at an amazing price (about £6 for 50ml) and I have to say that it's a great stand by for sunny days, rainy days, humid days and days when i just want something calm and un-fussy.

very green in the beginning (and nice at that moment ) ...then much sandalwood which makes it "yellow" , giving the impression of the smell of sunflowers ...i would have wanted it to stay as green as in the head notes . It makes me think , a little , of "Soleil" from Rochas ...the same "sunny" spirit . Not bad but seeing hyacinth , green leaves , i would have prefered it greener all way long .

I'm so surprised no other brand decided to use the word 'Daisy' before !
Such a beautiful name ;-)

Just two words: simply gorgeous. Innocent and perfect for spring. The hyacinth blends beautifully with everything green. On my skin the longevity is moderate, but it smells heavenly.

This was a blind buy for me. I got it along with Yardley's "Lily of the Valley" and "English Rose". Apart from roses and soapy scents which are my favourite, I really like daisies as well, plus I figured since "Yardley of London" is one of the oldest cosmetics, perfume and toiletry companies in the world - they must be reliable and they know best, right? And even though this is a new fragrance [came out only this year], I managed to find a few reviews that claimed that it smells just like the real thing, plus it's inexpensive, like the rest of Yarley's fragrances.

It does not smell like daisies on my skin. When I first sprayed it on, the top notes came off very green and crispy, much like the perfume pyramid here suggests, and almost immediately afterwards it turned intensely oily-green and intoxicating [which I guess is the hyacinth part], but not in a way I liked; it actually gave me a bit of a headache. The only part of this fragrance I like is the soft base note of sandalwood [no musk], but it stays very close to my skin and I can barely smell it at all.

I've been wanting to get my hands on Yardley fragrances for years now, but I can't buy them where I live and ordering them online is not an option either. So I asked a friend who lives in the UK bring me a few he'd come for a visit next, and... well, I'm sad to say I'm done with Yardley altogether. Their fragrances are just not for me, so I guess they will stay in the back of my perfume collection and eventually will get passed on to someone else.
