Българската национална телевизия обяви официално, че се отказва от участието си на Евровизия 2019. Ние, екипът на Eurovision-Bulgaria.com, не сме съгласни с това решение и призоваваме всички фенове на конкурса да подпишат тази петиция.
Не е удачно да прекратяваме успешното си участие. Участие, което рекламира България по най-добрия начин. Същото, което обединява народа ни навсякъде по света! Българските изпълнители заслужават публиката от 200 милиона зрители. В момента на сайта ни тече ежегодното допитване до феновете на конкурса в страната „Кой трябва да представи България на Евровизия?“ и интересът отново е огромен! Успехът на музикалната ни индустрия е много по-важен от колебания и несъгласия. Българската национална телевизия е отговорна за промотирането на българските изпълнители, гласували й доверие, както и за опазване на своя собствен имидж и този на България.
Припомняме "Концепция за развитието на БНТ като обществена медия" на Константин Каменаров - директор на телевизията, при изслушването му за длъжността през 2017: "В последните години БНТ успя да наложи Евровизия като значим за България формат със силен обществен отзвук. „Извади“ конкурентоспособни български лица, които създадоха позитивен имидж на България и получиха силна подкрепа във и извън страната. Евровизия се превърна в емблематичен формат за БНТ и й донесе позитиви в позиционирането й на медийната и обществена."
Призоваваме управителният съвет на Българската национална телевизия да изпълни поетия ангажимент и да участваме на Евровизия 2019 в Израел!

The Bulgarian National Television has officially announced that it withdraws from Eurovision 2019. We, the team behind Eurovision-Bulgaria.com, do not agree with this decision and we address all Eurovision fans to sign our petition. Withdrawing means not letting a whole country show its culture, talent and uniqueness in front of 200 million people. Also, at such late stage it ruins the image of Bulgaria and the one of the Bulgarian National Television as a whole. Currently the annual poll “Who Would You Like to Represent Bulgaria at Eurovison” at our website’s platforms once again attracts the attention of both fans and artists. Some hesitation and dissent should not be stopping Bulgaria’s musical progress. Our representatives have always trusted the Bulgarian National Television- therefore the broadcaster must respect them, the fans and the partners it has relied on.
We remind you of the "Conception for BNT's development as a public media" by Konstantin Kamenarov, which he included at his auditiion for the position of general director of the broadcaster.
"In the last few years BNT managed to impose Eurovision as a significant show for Bulgaria with a strong public reaction. It "put forward" competitive Bulgarian faces, who created a positive image for Bulgaria and received strong support within the country and abroad.
Eurovision became an emblematic show for BNT and brought positives in its placement as a public media."
We demand the Board of the Bulgarian National Television to keep their promise and to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
