Moonlight Ariana Grande for women

I tried to apply this to wear to bed because I thought it was good for the moonlight but it was much too heavy and cloyingly sweet for that. It has the same juvenile profile the other Ariana perfumes have but it’s sexier in a way. Again another I think I would have loved in high school but I’m on the fence about now.

Nothing speciel really but a safe buy. It’s smells nice and is very similar to Ari and Sweet Like Candy, though not as good in my opinion. But if you like her fragrances overall I would recommend this!

Longevity is poor but it’s VERY plummy while it’s around. I’m a fan of very true fruit scents and this is just like an overripe plum, not very sour and quite sweet. Fades out into the Ariana Grande standard dry down, which I really do enjoy. I love it while it lasts (around an hour on skin, 2ish on clothes) and it doesn’t get overwhelming or cloying by over spraying.

I’ve had my bottle of Moonlight for a couple of years. I HATED this at first! It was so bitter and chemically so I put it in a cupboard for a while to get it out of the way. Then a few months later it turned into this fresh, fruity scent. Fast forward to today, and I decided to wear it again. So yummy! The marshmallow definitely comes through now. So light and yummy but lasts about an hour 🙃

I have been reaching for it daily for a bit now and it is an uber easy reach. Just the longevity and sillage are not there :(

I would love for this scent to last more than 30 mins; it would be my signature it is that beautiful.

For some reason, this pulls really floral on me. I hardly get and fruitiness. In my opinion, neither Escada Party nor Ariana’s Ari is similar since Party smells like a plasticky cherry lipgloss and Ari is much less floral. This has minimal sillage and lasts about 4 hours on me.

Why do people hate this so much?! I love it—yes, it fades quickly, but then you can overspray, and no one hates you. I'm into it.

I smell this for all of about 30 minutes and then it fades into a generic skin scent that shares a lot of DNA with her other fragrances. I don’t get all the super fruity sweetness some do. To my nose, it’s more ambroxen, ISO E Super than sweet.

The scent is absolutely wonderful, it's a nice powdery and fruity floral with a hint of spiciness. Unfortunately though this perfume is going into my category of perfumes that are great scents, but have such poor longevity that I can't justify ever buying them again. This perfume only lasts about an hour on my skin, I have sprays from BBW that have better longevity and cost half the price.

I like this scent profile (sweet, fruity, similar to Ari/Sweet Like Candy) but this is so weak it's not worth it to me. Literally can't smell it after 10 minutes. I decluttered.

I bought this one when I was first getting into perfume, and it was definitely one of my go-tos. I love sweet scents and this one hits that note while also being more mature than, say, Ari or Sweet Like Candy. This one is sweet with a hint of mystery. It reminds me of its namesake for sure- a romantic, intimate moonlight stroll. The maturity comes from the slight powdery accord. Longevity was about 6 hours on me, and the sillage was intimate, definitely a skin scent. I'd say it is definitely worth it for the price!

It’s like a fairy walking in a plum garden at midnight.
It is powdery though if that’s something you don’t like. It doesn’t have lasting power but just use some Vaseline or a good moisturizer. It stays longer on clothes. moonlight is perfect for what it is.

I found this to be an all season perfume but perfect for a cozy evening / bedtime. It's a shame it doesn't last on me (about an hour with ~3 sprays) - ended up decluttering the bottle. I mostly get plum + black current and marshmallow.

As someone who is particular about plum in perfume, I find this to be a winner combined with the black currant and marshmallow.

The best way to describe this is by the name of it. It smells like you are walking in a forest or garden during the night when the moonlight hits you. It’s romantic, magical and girly. However, I find it to be more mature than the other perfumes in Ariana’s collection. Love the plum in this! It’s a perfect scent for summer nights, and my favorite perfume by Ariana by far. I personally think that it’s underrated.

Sad part is, it does not last very long on me, so it does not perform very well.

I enjoy the plum and marshmellow notes in this. It's a cosy 'wearing to bed' perfume and has a lot in common with R.E.M, which is my favourite of the three I own (the other is Cloud). In my mind, it's basically R.E.M with the lavender swapped out for the plum/fruit notes.

I love this so much BUT guys come on this doesn’t last at all I hate that because it’s really nice but I swear it doesn’t last an hour and in general perfumes tend to last on me. Sad because like I said the smell is perfection.
Don’t buy the body mist it smells like literally nothing, just alcohol and then nothing 🤣 even on clothes.

This Ariana perfume smells like a more mature powdery grandma scent to me. It isn't bad, but out of all of her scents, this one is definitely unique, maybe the more mature out of her whole line. Its mysterious, fresh and has a ton of sillage and stays on for a long time, about the same as Ari or Sweet Like Candy, but to me, this smells nothing like those. Its not Gourmand, this one is one I've gotten in the Christmas pack with Ari, Sweet Like Candy, and Sweet like Candy red. Its always the one I use last cause I used all the others first. Not my favorite so I've never had a big bottle, but I actually do have fond memories of this smell, and It is a great night scent. More womanly than childlike.

Out of all the ariana 'sweet, candy-ish' perfumes that I've tried, this is the best one for me. The opening notes are so interesting, with the sourness of the blackcurrant cutting through the sweetness of vanilla, with something mysterious sparkling through. The middle note is pretty much just sweetened blackberries, which reminds me of cheapo kiddies bodysplash I used to have, but elevated. The tail end is pretty basic vanilla, but it smells so heavenly, the perfect clean girl scent imo. Honestly didn't expect to like it that much. The cute bottle doesn't help...

It's okay, but it's not all that.

This is another scent I've been wearing for a couple of years that I have simply become uninterested in repurchasing. The top notes are prominent and it's an overall fruity floral scent as described. If I had to choose between this and Sweet Like Candy, I'd definitely choose this as it's less juvenile. However, despite that, my nose currently loves vanilla/strawberry creamy scents that give a cozy vibe. I tested Thank You Next today and it's definitely on my purchase list.

All the notes say I should love this… I hate this, smells nothing like sweet marshmallow to me, I gave it to a 4 year old.

I adored the body mist version of this so I bought the perfume hoping it would still have that good marshmallow-y scent but it smells so strong yet has no silage and I can’t bring myself to wear this without giving myself a migraine. (P.S still love mod vanillaaaa

I smelled this on a friend and I fell in LOVE. It's a super sweet creamy plum and berry smell. The marshmallow and plum are the stars of this fragrance. It's kind of like a sweeter (and sluttier) version of Mod Vanilla. My friend was actually wearing the body spray and after reading the reviews of how fast the perfume fades... I'm kind of shocked because the body spray had an enormous sillage and longevity. After she left the house, the smell lingered for 15 mins of her being gone. I literally smelled her from a different room and I still smelled the perfume on her 5 hours from when she had applied it. I could for sure recommend the body spray, even if the perfume itself has been getting iffy reviews based on longevity and sillage.

All these influencers are scoffing at this for smelling too mature. I then realized they were in their 20's. It's no wonder then that is is my next favorite after Cloud as I am in my 50's. Cloud and this are the only ones that get on with my skin chemistry. The others are too sweet and give me a headache now. Good thing I only got 10 ml decants

I can really smell a creamy note in this immediately. Makes me think of whipped cream rather than marshmallow because it's not a super super sweet scent, but a nice rich creaminess. Like whipped cream mixed with a bit of mascarpone. This creamy scent persists, it's not just during the top notes and there's a lovely ripe plum note accompanying it.

The sandalwood and amber give this a more grown vibe, so this is not too juvenile. This is a pretty light fragrance and I overspray it, though I don't think the longevity on this is any worse than the other AG perfumes. In fact I can still smell it on my skin and it's been almost 7 hours since I sprayed it.

This is nice! Like a sexier, night time version of the Ari perfume.

This is a very 'meh' fragrance that I own for the sake of collecting Ariana Grande perfumes as a teen. There is nothing about it that stands out against the other thousands of perfumes on the shelves of chemists across Europe. No notes appeal to me as it's too similar to Sweet Like Candy (and without sounding redundant, 1000's of other celeb and inexpensive fragrances)
Definitely not horrible by any means but very bland and lacks any defining factor that makes it stand out.

Tried it at Walmart because I liked the packaging. Ended up smelling like someone mashed a bunch of chemicals together with no discernible notes, like hairspray. Got Cloud instead.

I found this at Burlington for $13, so I thought why not - I really like this one! this is a clean, cozy, comforting, cuddle up on the couch with a blanket kind of scent. Sweet but not too sweet. This is a great after shower scent, perfect for bedtime.

I bought the body spray for less than my morning coffee cost and I will admit I am enjoying it. Is it sweet and fruity …yes…do I hate it …surprisingly no. It’s pleasant and fun with a decent cloud. Pretty on point with what I expected after reading the notes. I will say AG fragrances all seem to have a very similar scent profile (no surprises there) and if you enjoy them I think they would play well together.

I just adore this perfume, so sweet and gourmand like. But it doesn’t last very long :(

Smells like Ari but I don't like it as much. I think it's the plum that doesn't work for me. You definatly don't need to buy this if you already have Ari.

i’m really surprised strawberry isn’t in the notes - i get a very synthetic clean strawberry scent. it reminds me of a fresh fruity shampoo that my aunt used to use. this is honestly the first ariana perfume i’d consider buying! my only issues with it is that it doesn’t last very long at all and it’s very generic. if you got me to imagine a basic, simple, girly perfume then this would be it. nothing special, nothing interesting. which is good if you like that! but i prefer slightly more complex perfumes. it’s very fruity and sweet but a bit more mature than the rest of ariana’s line, i could see a 17-23 year old wear this. i don’t get any powdery notes from this at all. it kind of reminds me of fantasy or a paris hilton perfume i tried once

Definitely a strong marshmallow, powdery perfume. I get a coconut note from this one, oddly.

Really fruity, the notes of black currant and plum really stands out upon initial spray. They're bright and sharp, almost as if it's a kind of juice that's really bright and refreshing. When it settled on my skin, it is straight up powdery goodness. The peony gives a floral scent that lingers until the end, and then the marshmallow bestows a fluffy powdery hint into it. About the dry-down phase, the floral and fruitiness is still present, but with the added woodiness, creaminess, and sweetness tones. The name is “Moonlight” hence I feel like it's a great fragrance for night-out use. Overall, I like how the sweetness is not headache inducing, it's just at the right level. This perfume screams maturity and confidence to the point that I personally think that this is not your usual Ariana Grande perfume. Moonlight is more mature just like her 2 other fragrances, R.E.M and God is a Woman.

I think Moonlight is the strongest and more mature out of the three perfumes in Ariana's first trilogy. Moonlight is my second most complimented perfume that I own and I think this leans more designer. I feel like this one is unique because I never smelled anything like this. It's slightly sweet but not like Ari and Sweet Like Candy. I can detect the plum and peony which creates this rich powdery fragrance. I really detest perfumes that smells like baby powder, so when I say "powdery", it's powdery as in floral. Plus I believe the marshmallow note in the background has something to do with it too. This perfume is a little to heavy for me to wear during the summer. I only wear this in the fall and winter - mostly winter because it gives me cozy snow days and ice skating vibes.

Although it is somewhat sweet, I don’t think of it as a sweet fragrance. It’s clean, cozy, comforting, and powdery. I really love blackcurrant, and in this one, that note is super smooth. Present without a sharp edge.

I think it’s beautifully balanced for any time of day in any season, but as the name suggests, it’s perfect for evening relaxing. You might try it as a follow up to a night bath or wear it for an at-home date.

My husband and children like this fragrance on me, too. A fairly safe blind-buy that I hope remains available until the end of time!

I wanted to like this so bad!!!! The notes look DELICIOUS. When I spray this though I unfortunately can't really distinguish any of the notes from eachother very well :(
Not to mention - longevity of this scent with my chemistry is a fat 0, which seems top be a theme with a lot of the AG perfumes I've tried - they just don't like me even though I want to like them. If I overspray to the extreme, I get some nice sillage. my fiance loves this scent on me, but I unfortunately won't be buying it again just for it to end up as room spray for a second time.

I was at Ross looking for "Britney Spears - Private Show" but found this instead.
Since "Cloud" was such a great hit with me, I figured...why not.
Opens to a sweet creamy marshmallowy set of fruit notes on skin.
After about 40 minutes the creaminess dies down and I am left with the same bright fruity notes that are in "D&G - The Only One".
That stage goes on and on for the next 3 hours. The fragrance stops leaving a noticeable sillage trail after about 2 hours and the last hour is a skin scent of bright fruits. I can see this working nicely for a sweaty day outdoors. Would have to layer it with tobacco, musk or vanilla to dampen the drydown fruit notes though...oof.

Funny thing is...I just gave that fragrance to my wife because the bright saccharine-sweet fruity notes just couldn't be tamed. Now I've got another smaller 30ml bottle of essentially the same fragrance...lol.
(This is giving me a slight headache...I definitely don't like the bright chemical fruits)

I recommend you to buy the body mist version, which is a wonderful creamy musk.

This is the first perfume with which my fragance hobbie started. I think it's good to start in the fragance world with simple but pleasant perfumes like this one. It's sweet, femenine and quite shy, so it kinda reminds me of myself lol

It's intrinsecally femenine, soft and a bit mysterious despite of not being complex. The plum and marshmallow notes are the ones that stay longer in my skin, and even though most people complain about its sillage and longetivity my father in law noticed it and complimented it about 6 hours after I sprayed it. It was probably just luck but I guess it can also depend on body chemistry.

If you love other Ariana perfumes you'll probably like this one too, just keep in mind that it's possible the smell doesn't last long. If you're more of a fragance lover who needs strong, complex scents this might not be for you.

It’s nice but I don’t think there’s anything special about it. I just get a fruity floral.

Not for the weak. In my opinion this is one of Ariana's STRONGER fragrances. It's a spicy warm floral. It reminds me of something an older sister might wear. I get more of the black currant than the plum, but both complement each other well. This is long lasting on my skin. It pairs wonderfully with Gucci's Gorgeous Gardenia Flora. In the middle of spraying there's a sweet baby powder note. I'm sure that's just the marshmallow cushioning the base and top notes. It really does smell like a ray of moonlight on your skin! This is perfect for a spring night. I can attest that this is on the more "mature" side of feminine fragrances. This is not a stereotypical bubblegum pop type of perfume.

This perfume actually smells like berries and marshmallows!!! It’s not very sweet like SLC, but it still smells quite sweet. I got a lot of compliments on it yesterday (actually it was just my mom and my best friend, but I’ve never gotten that many compliments on how I smell). It’s thick but in a good way. Smells very feminine and nice. I wish it lasted longer though.

Pro tip: I enjoy this perfume, however, the lasting power is so atrocious on me. I see a lot of people have this problem, so it's sort of notorious for being weak. Someone told me that they bought the Moonlight body mist and found that the body mist lasted longer than the EDP. I found the body mist for $10 in 8 oz (more than double the size of the 3.4oz EDP) and I was amazed to find that it did indeed last longer than the EDP, at least on my skin. So if you like this perfume, but don't like the lasting power, then do yourself a favor and pick up a large bottle of the fragrance mist for ten bucks. Not only will you get more product for much less, but you might end up getting better lasting power.

This is so soft, pretty and delicate. I see the comments about it being weak, but I don't think so. This may have been created to have a more intimate scent bubble. The plum, marshmallows, vanilla and sandalwood make their presence known and I consider this an easy reach. Ari of course is top tier.

Very pretty scent, it's gourmand and sweet. Does not have much lasting power though. Personally not something I would wear, but it's not a terrible choice if you're into more playful, light fragrances.

Maybe I got a bad bottle..but lasting power and silage are not good..I can barely smell the plum and marshmallow. There's slight "fluffy" and airy vibe to this. Moonlight is FAR too intimate for me. This is another fragrance of hers (Ari being the other) that I have to put my wrist to my nose to smell what's happening. There is no projection here.

I didn't come here to bash her fragrances..I recently went on a splurge and blind bought most her perfumes...I'm expecting Sweet Like Candy and Sweet Like Candy Limited Edition next week, but Ari and Moonlight left a bad impression on me.

Thank U Next is barley passible, and Cloud is just ok. Those are my 2 to-go perfumes from her.

I can't be the only one have this problem with her fragrances; I'm expecting this to get down voted by her fans, but also hoping my fellow fragranticans with same issues to come through for me! Hahaha, I know I'm not the only one with these experiences with her fragrance. I'm just disappointed I spent money, and hoping to get what the good reviews are raving about, but most of her fragrances are ...just not kickin.

But other wise this is great for beginners perfume, the bottle is pretty, Moonlight doesn't project so you can spray as much as you want, for the hell of it! 🤷🏼

Another lovely easy grab easy gift from Ari. It is simple and I sense mostly the dark fruits, marshmallow & vanilla. I’ll be gifting this to bestie this year so it matches her Ari bottle from last year. This is so safe to blind buy & gift. Great for a younger girl or someone who likes lighter scents. 💜

Literally soooo good the first time I smelled it I didn’t like it that much but the more I smelled it the more I fell in love with it it smells so unique I can’t really explain what it smells like but you can definitely smell the marshmallow!

Underrated celebrity fragrance! Moonlight is a deliciously blended Floral Fruity Gourmand scent that has a peculiar personality to it.

When I first tested this scent, I wasn't entirely sure if I loved it or if I was just okay with it. However, after a more in depth analysis of this fragrance, I can safely say I love it!

Moonlight is a dark twist on the marshmallow powdery fragrances Ariana Grande tends to put out, it smells sweet but striking. It's fresh, but powdery. It's an interesting profile that works on a sweet, lovely, or sexy edge that I think could work for a big amount of people of any age.

I think this is a "Gothic Lolita" perfume since I actually find the plum to add maturity and coldness, but not deviate completely from the enticing and soft sweetness of the rest of the fragrance. It's such a good blend of notes that acts interestingly and deliciously. I think this could also be a unisex fragrance but it does lean fem.

The opening and dry down are exquisite and all throughout the experience, the marshmallow is very present.

The only downside I find to this perfume is its longevity and projection. It's very moderate to weak and doesn't last long. This perfume lasts probably about 4 hours on my skin, and I would love if there were an Intense version or to test it with a fragrance booster.

I tested this and fell in love with it...for all of the 10 minutes it lasted on me. Glad I didn't buy it, but I wish so badly I could find something like it with better lasting-power! It's a very pretty inoffensive scent.

One of my favorite perfumes actually. I love everything about it. It’s absolutely lovely from the iridescent bottle with the purple pompon to the romantic name. It’s very feminine and a bit ethereal. I love the powdery nature it has, the soft plum, the exquisite peony that smells like a pale pink rose in the dry down. It calms me down with its sweetness and speaks to my personality. It’s interesting but I can almost imagine I am smelling lilac blooms in this perfume. It’s perfect for Spring time! Like many others have mentioned, it has this sort of ethereal, romantic, gentle quality about it, and I can see walking down a path of sweet blooming garden in Spring in the misty moonlit night, full of lilacs, wisteria and peonies.

It's so basic I threw it away. I didn't gift it to anyone because I don't want my friends smelling like this lol.

Mind you, when I say "basic" I don't mean that it smells like most girls, or like other perfumes. I love smelling like other girls, other girls are beautiful and precious and have awesome taste. I mean that this just smells completely uninteresting. I can't discern any of the notes listed, it smells like a dollar store body spray that would be called "seductress" or something. Would make a decent body wash scent.

a very basic perfume imo. good for every day but like most ariana perfumes lacks in longevity and sillage. especially given that it's best for non-summer seasons, i'd want something that's a little more distinct. probably won't re-buy once my bottle runs out.

this is a sugary, sweet black current and plum scent. it is quite pleasing and inoffensive but lasts very little time

A fluffy plum marshmallow

Super cozy, comforting, and I think fits the name Moonlight. Good silage for a soft, fluffy scent and decent longevity (not as good as Cloud but better than Thank U Next 2.0)

I blind bought Ari, Sweet like Candy and Moonlight as a trio and they're all pleasant, but I dislike the dry down of moonlight the most. The opening and mid notes are really pretty. It's sweet, fluffy and cozy, but for some reason the dry down gets extremely sweet. It's like powered sugar and marshmallow on my skin. At that point, it gets a bit too sweet even though I love sweet scents. I'll still keep it in my collection, but I prefer Ari. 6.5/10

Sweet and simple, has a nice smell that compliments most seasons and outfits. I have it in a body spray and perfume. :)

Super calming perfume. I used to wear it all the time. Sweet and juvenile but boys love it.

It doesn't smell as dark as I thought it would (based on the imagery) but it does smell more mature than one could expect from an Ariana Grande frag', inspired by her Moonlight era.

It's a clean and plumy peony on a marshmallow pillow. The end. It's very pretty and efficient. An easy pick-me up. Not as cloying or sweet as one would think, it really smells sweet AND clean to me.

Easy compliment-getter, appreciated in the workspace. Yes, neither longevity nor sillage are enormous but it's not that short-lived. I would spray this on my skin and clothes by 8AM and could still smell it on my clothes by 8PM. At this point, I'm left with the clean, pillowy marshmallow.

It's better not to overspray this one because people WILL definitely smell it, no matter how discreet of a perfume you think it is. Once I went batsh*t with it and I was having a meeting in a large room at my office. A manager entered the room after we had stayed there for at least 30min and made funny remarks about how strong someone's perfume was. I knew for sure it was me, because I couldn't smell my coworkers' perfumes at the time.

I didn't get to try many marshmallow accords in perfumery yet, but even without considering the price range it's a really beautiful one.

It’s nice and sweet when you spray, also pungent, due to the plum, but it has a very poor lasting power. I don’t recommend it. Ariana’s fragrances are delicious for the sweet perfume lovers, if they only lasted! This is like a body spray.

It's pleasant enough although definitely straightforward and juvenile. It smells like all of the other pleasant-enough basic celebrity perfumes (think Katy Perry purr etc.)

this is a nice, safe perfume. but for some reason, i don't really get fruit or sweetness in the opening.

i bought this because i was trying to fatten up my cool-weather gourmand collection. i was hoping for a sweet juicy black raspberry with whipped cream vibe.
but to me, this is more floral and soapy. like a plum blossom scented hand soap?? i guess it's just the peony.

don't get me wrong, it's not bad.
but it's not smelling as edible as the notes pyramid would have me believe.

it's not particularly strong. and i don't really get much of a sweet edible feeling until the dry down.
by the time the vanilla comes out, most of the fruitiness has faded.
it's like a powdery vanilla meringue with a single blackberry as a garnish.

Love this perfume so much! I got so many compliments with it, compared to the other perfumes of hers that I've had (Ari and Thank U, Next). It's a more elegant version of Ari. The longevity isn't that good, though. It usually lasts up to 4 hours on me.

This is a pleasant and soft/comforting scent, with a gentle well-blended sweetness. It lasted on me for me than six hours and the dry-down was very nice.

one of my favorite offerings from AG! so good. more mature (maybe because of the plum?) than some of the others (ari, sweet like candy, thank u next, etc.) but still has that trademark youthful sweetness of hers. the opening is really fruity, and the dry down is marshmallowy sweet and somehow powdery, but not in an old lady way. sillage and longevity are not GREAT, but enough to smell on the skin throughout the day. i definitely have to overspray to get it to project how I want (it'll never be beast mode unfortunately) but I don't mind, it's cheap. smells super pretty & calming, perfect for lounging around in the winter time.

a sweet inoffensive delight. i am not a particular fan of ariana scents but this one is quite cute to me. not that suffocating and can appeal to most young women (or men for that matter)

This one is a lovely one. I get why some prefer it to Ari and Sweet Like Candy, as it is less sweet and more cosy, but I still prefer the others personally.

That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy this, I definitely do (I just love sweet scents the most!).

This is a cosy, fluffy scent, with a deep fruity touch. The plum definitely comes through but it’s overall a cosy warm cuddley smell that I find quite hard to describe.

It’s got that Ariana Grande Perfume DNA (probably from the marshmallow) but it is different to the two before it.

It’s lovely but it’s a lot harder to find now, and I wouldn’t recommend overpaying for this on eBay etc, it’s nice but not THAT nice.

I have this for about a year now. Had probably half of her perfumes and this one is (to me) better than Ari, Sweet like candy, Thank u next and even REM - it reminds me sort of REM or at least the opening. This one's underrated, has some depth and sultriness I must say.

I was shocked when I smelled this fragrance because I was expecting a deeper and floral perfume from what I heard and read. However, all I smelt was marshmallows with a very light plum. I was expecting a deep plum but it's very light and fluffy. This is a very sweet fragrance and smells exactly like ari just fresher.

A relatively average, plummy kind of scent. Turns a little odd on my skin, but still nice. Just a tad synthetic.

Safe blind buy fragrance. Very floral, fresh opening. Once it settles down it becomes sweeter, that’s when the plum marshmallowy notes become more detectable.
Sweet like Candy and Ari by Ariana Grande are much stronger, Moonlight is a lighter fragrance. SLC and Ari are giving artificial, but this is giving nature, secret garden by the moonlight.. Pretty! It’s not super unique, but I think it will be pleasant for most noses. The packaging is gorgeousss.. makes an awesome gift.

If you’re getting this - get it on sale cuz I ended up paying 22 dollars for 30 ml at Marshall’s… unacceptable hahah.

Edit: I will be returning this. Someone said this is a grandma-floral scent and now i can’t un-smell it. Similar to Fresh Gardenia by Kim Kardashian. Not for me…

Not an EDP this is Eau fraiche – The most diluted version of fragrance, usually with one to three percent perfume oil in alcohol and water. Usually lasts for less than an hour.

I feel like she wants to be the new Britney Spears but the scent isn't there yet, it's just sweet and fruits.

I find this one hard to describe… like if you read the notes you can smell the plum and the marshmallow once you know it’s there, but if not it’s just a warm cozy smell that still gives off sexy but chill vibes. This kind of makes it a deeper, more mature version of Ari and Sweet Like Candy.

It’s definitely very very nice though, don’t get me wrong, just hard to place and describe. But the vibes are so nice it’s just very cozy and warm, with a slightly deepness to it that gives it a sexiness.

Good performance and quality just like the other Ariana fragrances. Shame this once is hard to come by in the UK now. If you can get your hands on it I’d definitely recommend it.

I will try to spray it on clothes to see how it holds; I don't like putting chemicals on my skin anyway.

This is like the kiddie version of Jimmy Choo Fever and something I would purchase for a preteen. The plum is very light and the fragrance has minimum projection. Sweet but not too sweet. Powdery but not too powdery. The marshmallow note comes across like cotton candy to my nose, but very lightly. Once that all dries down you're left with a very light peony scent. Honestly she should have just dropped the Moon from the name and just called it Light, because it doesn't last very long.

I blind bought this and its so lovely, the bottle and lavender color is perfect for the scent, so whimsical and girly. Its so cuddly, perfect for wearing comfy clothes and reading next to a big window to watch the rain fall. Its just so pretty and powdery. This is perfect for colder weather, but ill wear it year round! this is also rlly sexy, a perfect scent for intimacy or a date!

This has a little bit weak lasting and silage but I don't mind over-spraying because you can find a 3.4oz of this rlly discounted now, for abt 20-30$ at walmart and fragrancenet and etc! I also like the routine of reapplying perfume throughout the day, makes me feel happy and feminine :)

This is a very soft and subtle plum fragrance. It’s slightly sweet but not as cloying as the other fragrances by Ariana.

The projection on this is minimal. It’s the kind of fragrance you wear on a cold winter night in with your partner.

The bottle is also very cute!

I am in love w this perfume! I'm a big fan of Ariana's perfumes in general but this is definitely one of my favourites. I think this is a good fragrance for colder seasons, especially winter. It's also not too sweet, and it's a more mature scent in my opinion. I only wish the perfume would last longer though :c It doesn't last more than 30m-1hr so it's not perfect to wear for a super long event, as it'll wear off quickly. Other than that, it's a fabulous perfume <3

i really like this one. it's really delicate and sweet. i don't find the scent to be very strong, which is perfect if you're sensitive to overbearing scents. i feel it's kinda of in-between ari and sweet like candy, but slighter more mature. i think this is perfect for night-time and date nights! i think it's also perfect for the colder, darker seasons ♡

this smells beautiful. i wouldn't describe it as fruity, as it is a softer, powderier sort of sweetness, but the black currant is definitely there. a comforting hug of vanilla and marshmallow cozyness. my mom really likes this one and can smell if i'm wearing it even when i'm 6 feet away, though the sillage is quite intimate. longevity is ok.

It's basically Ari marshmallow + Plum + Sandalwood. Even tho it's fruitier and juicier than Ari, it's still very sweet. Longevity is decent and sillage is medium to intimate. You can always overspray and reapply if you like it tho.
Due to its lightness, it's very office and classroom friendly, except maybe on very hot days because it's still very, very sweet.
I disagree with people calling it a nighttime option tho, it lacks the depth and performance to wear it at nighttime.

I love this perfume! It’s so amazing and unique. On initial spray you get the berries and blackcurrant but that dry down you get vanilla and amber. Oh man! This perfume is so addictive, whenever I wear this perfume I sniff my wrist so often. It’s a very cuddly scent, and my boyfriend loves it. The name Moonlight fits it so well. The longevity is moderate but I don’t mind over spraying because it’s just that good!

Soft powdery vanilla with some plum. I really like wearing this perfume to bed. It's become my cozy night time scent. I agree that this could've easily been one of her best scents if it lasted. Shortest lasting of her fragrances by far on my skin. I get about 2 hours with it. It's still very ethereal and pretty. It's giving fairy vibes and takes me back to those barbie movies from the 2000s.

The marshmallow in this is strooooong! Unfortunately this is way too sweet for me but I understand the appeal.

I really thought I'd like this based on the notes but it is a really bland generic perfume. It smells like your typical sweet fruity celebrity perfume and then disappears in 30mins. There is nothing distinct about it, plus the bottle does not spray very well and the pom pom gets in the way. Regret buying it.

A scent all about sweet powdery marshmallows unfortunately with poor longevity and silage. But, of course, you can always over spray it to make it last a little longer or refresh it more often, about every 2 hours or so.

This would be the best ariana fragrance if it wasn't for the poor longevity

I love this fragrance. It’s so mature and deep. It’s perfect for a date night or for an official occasion, or you can wear it as a daily scent! What i’m disappoints me in this fragrance is that it doesn't last long on my skin which is making me very sad because as all the other ariana fragrances it’s amazingg!!

Moonlight is so pleasing to my nose, I think I might like it more than Cloud ☁️ Smells fresh, airy and sweet, Ariana's perfumes seem to have this quality and it's so appealing, but is also quite innovative amongst cloying, heavy gourmands. This fresh/sweet vibe is what other celebrity fragrances lack.

I have Ari, Sweet Like Candy, Cloud, thank u, next and God Is A Woman and I LOVE THEM ALL. Do you think would I like Moonlight? Would it be a safe blind buy? Is it deep and heavy? Because I like light girly scents.

Her song Moonlight is very special to me so I’ve always had an eye on this. Now that I have it I could say it smells exactly like how the song feels. It’s sweet, youthful, full of love, and best for nighttime. Plum is effective in giving the illusion that certain perfumes should be used in the night time, I’ve noticed. Plum and blackcurrant really overpowers everything else but I get the hint of creamy marshmallow. I usually hate sweet fruity scents but this one is an exception. It’s not trying to be seductive, it’s simply a girl infatuated or in love.

First impressions: Plum and marshmallow. Not a clear powdery marshmallow though. Plum gives it depth, makes it slightly heavier. Unlike most other reviewers, I would wear this in the evening/night. It's the plum that makes it more "night-time" for me, and prevents it from being too cheery. I understand now why people say this is a "more mature" Ariana scent, even though this is the first ever Ariana perfume I've tested.

While Moonlight isn't a heavy perfume it's also not quite as fresh and light to my usual liking, which is probably down to the plum note! And for the record; I blind-bought this perfume purely for the marshmallow note, which I'm generally speaking *obsessed* with. But I'm not getting that powdery fresh-out-of-the-bag marshmallow I was expecting.

So far, I actually prefer Hollister's Festival Nite (for her) over Moonlight ~ it's more fresh and clean, and settles down to a clear powdery marshmallow on my skin. There's also a distinct side-smell of alcohol in this which is off-putting, though it might disappear with use.

So far: Slightly disappointed.

I ended up skipping this one after trying out the body mist. I tested 2 sprays of the eau de parfüm today. It smelled lovely, but the sillage was weak. In less than 1.5 hours, this is now an intimate scent. The eau de parfum's performance was better than the body mist. Marshmallow is there, it isn't syrupy sweet, and it is relaxing. Not a strong scent so office safe.

this perfume settles so beautifully on my skin & i always get compliments. i immediately smell the plum, amber & marshmallow, and as it dries down the vanilla, sandalwood & amber comes through more. u honestly just can’t go wrong with it. loves it!

I love this scent, it’s safe. It’s a sweet vanilla fragrance that any age can wear. I love that this perfume has plum and black currant as well, it gives the fragrance some uniqueness in comparison to other vanilla perfumes.
I really recommend testing before purchasing! This fragrance lasts nothing on my skin or clothes. I’ve tried it a few times and still nothing and I’m the type of person to spray A LOT of perfume on myself. Unfortunately, I won’t be repurchasing due to this and I plan to sell the one I own.

This is terrible, I'd say it's one of Ariana Grande's worst fragrances, but thank you next scores #1. It doesn't stink, but it's very boring—sugar water and alcohol, like thousands of other perfumes available on the market. Nothing incentivizes me to reach for this, I wanna just get rid of it.

Such a gorgeous scent. Moonlight smells the most different out of all her scents. It's not sweet, it's a fresh powdery Blackcurrant scent and the bottle is so damn pretty! It smells dusty-sparkly, just like the bottle, as if you're in a makeup room sniffing glittery blush and sipping on Ribena.

Update: Just a heads up. I bought this and it smells like a flat version of the tester at the shop. It's weak, the bottle is different too. The shop lady compared them and the difference was obvious. They happily gave me a refund. If you have the purple glittery bottle that's the latest formula which smells like vomit, but if you got the pink glitter bottle that's the old original formula. I bought another perfume from a different brand with the same issue, tester smells amazing but the one purchased smells flat. Not just me, many others are experiencing the same issue with many other perfumes due to companies showing one thing but selling something completely different.

Both my teenage daughters love Ariana Grande perfumes. It's from gifting them that I've discovered how lovely some of the scents are. It actually started with Moonlight. The first time I smelt my daughter wearing it, I just couldn't believe it was the celebrity perfume I had bought for her. It smelt really good, the projection was amazing and she would go out for 7 hours and I knew when she got back home. The performance and sillage were better than some of my more expensive perfumes. This prompted me to also purchase for myself and not think about whether her fragrances are marketed towards teens. I think people should wear whatever they like. For me, it's got a place and a time and I like it. It's sweet, fun, cheerful, juicy and a bit comforting. Although coconut is not listed I do pick up a coconut note in the air.

I own 4 Ariana Grande perfumes - Moonlight, Ari, Cloud and God is a Woman. I enjoy all of them.

on first spray, the plum comes across more than anything else imo alongside a powdery base. soft, gentle and pretty. i’m a big fan of marshmallow notes in perfumes but i can barely pick it up here. sadly i find it doesn’t project much at all and the longevity is maybe 3-4 hours at most. it’s a shame because it’s a nice scent, it just doesn’t perform very well.

Okay, so I have been putting off my review of Moonlight for many, many months because I wanted to really feel it out.
First of all, I absolutely LOVE it! This has become my signature scent, and I cannot say enough positive things about the fragrance. From the notes, to the bottle design, it's almost perfect.
I actually feel that this is very unnoticed, and definitely underrated. My husband adores me whenever I am wearing this. Definitely a more mature fragrance, in my opinion. But not in a negative way. It's so perfectly balanced for any adult woman; whether she's 20 or 80, this fragrance could work for her.
With this being said, I enjoy all of the notes as a blend. I definitely get every single note and it's just so pretty and cool at the same time.
Here is my con; it's not that long-lasting on some days, but that probably has to do with the weather or my own personal skin chemistry. Our skin chemistry can fluctuate, which can effect the way a fragrance performs. Overall, however, it's somewhat fair.
I wish Moonlight was more appreciated, but I also like that everyone isn't wearing it, because it's special to me personally.

The alcohol in the fragrance hits you first. But immediately after I get a juicy plum that is sweetened up by the black currant. This feels sweet, but not as innocent as Ari. I get the peony flowers in the background which make it feminine also. And the marshmallows don’t come out until the dry down. This is definitely a safe buy but don’t expect it to last all day.

This is my favorite scent by FAR in the Ariana grande line, it basically smells like SLC but less sweet (I want to say a bit more elegant in a way if I do dare?) but again, it just doesn’t project well. This is the longest lasting one out of her line for me personally though- just not sure if I’d buy again despite liking it. (Buy a sample size and see how well it lasts on you before buying)

Plum, peony and marshmallow is what I get in this perfume. It’s a bit floral heavy when you first spray it, but then the plum and marshmallow come in. It’s not overly fruity, sweet, or floral, it’s a nice mixture of the three. Definitely the most “mature” scent out of all of them. It lasts about 5 hours on the skin but it doesn’t project too much , it’s a nice intimate perfume.

I absolutely adore this perfume. Moonlight is pretty much what got me into my love of perfumes. It's a strong sweet and floral scent. It's very comforting to me and like the name says, it's great for night. This is the first perfume that I've used the full bottle of. Planning to buy another soon.

This is my favourite perfume ever and it has been my signature sent for 3 years now. I love it because it's light and fresh, and not to sweet. I don't like heavy perfumes. The only problem is it's extremely weak. I have to spray it excessively like a body spray to make it noticeable, and even then it only lasts a couple hours. So it ends up being expensive because of how much you have to use. Because of this, I've searched for a new favourite scent but nothing has ever compared to this, my boyfriend agrees no other perfume I've tried is as nice as this.

This is a solid okay from me. Everytime I smell this it makes me want to wear Fantasy by Britney Spears.

Moonlight to me smells like a vanilla plum, black currant, and marshmallow. I do get some sandalwood and amber/peony in the dry down. It's sweet yet has a mature element to it while not being grandma-y. It's intimate to moderate on me, depending on how much I spray. Sugary and light like a cloud, excellent.

Moonlight smells cute and elegant to me at the same time. I love the combination of the fruity notes with the peony and marshmallow. The plum and black currant add a lively and playful touch, whilst the peony and marshmallow create this sort of elegant femininity. The overall results in a lively and fruity but also a 'deep' and a bit of a mysterious gourmand at the same time.
The only thing is that the longevity isn't good as it only lasts about 2 hours on my skin so I wish that was better, but for the price I don't really mind it that much. This is definitely more sophisticated smelling compared to some of Ariana's other perfumes and I really like it!

I LOVE the notes - it's a delightful plummy marshmallow scent that reminds me of fruit gummies. However, the sillage is pretty weak. I can really only smell it next to my skin. If it were stronger I'd wear this every day! I find that it performs better when layered with similar fragrances.

I really really love this perfume and i think it’s so underrated, it definitely has that Ari and SLC DNA but i think this one is a bit different, it smells fresh and fruity and sweet but not too sweet, i get compliments with this one and i think it’s a really beautiful feminine scent, perfect for everyday as it’s not heavy, the bottle is also beautiful!! Longevity is the problem with this one, it’s pretty weak which is so sad because it smells so beautiful and the sillage is only good for an hour or 2 if you overspray. This one seems to be hard to find these days but it is so lovely.

This fragrance opens up very tarty with the fruity notes and I immediately detect a subtle floral. In the drydown I get the warmth that a marshmallow brings but not so much the sweetness that can come with that note. The peony really starts to shine here and brings a warmth as well but let me tell you THIS SCENT IS LIGHT!!! I over sprayed and it still faded within a couple of hours. I will have to use this one for layering unfortunately.

To me, Moonlight is very similar to Ari in both scent and performance. They occupy a similar category of perfume -- light, fruity, sweet, though Ari smells a bit more candy-like. Both are youthful and inoffensive, so they make great gifts. I sprayed one on each wrist and after the dry-down it becomes a bit difficult to tell which is which. I didn't need both, but I'm an Ariana Grande fan so I wanted to collect. Both of them have disappointing sillage and longevity, only lasting about 30 mins before it's 80% gone.

This is so pretty. Opens a fruity dark berry, with some fresh peony which I get. Settles to a warm sweet marshmallow. This is my current sleep scent and I love it! Very delicate and makes me feel beautiful.

It opens with a juicy burst of black currant and plum, tart and sweet. The top notes aren’t around for very long before the peony and marshmallow come through, so delicate and feminine. This is the one Ariana perfume where I can detect every note in it. I’m glad I bought the rollerball to try, it is pretty, but with this being a skin scent I don’t think I’m going to invest in a full bottle. Still, it’s a nice fragrance for around the house when I need a little pick-me-up.

Honestly it was a big disappointment for me. I bought it blindly because I absolutely loved Sweet Like Candy and Ari... but this one doesn't even come close to them. It smells like rubbing alcohol and soap in my opinion. And it only lasts like 30 minutes on my skin.

I was really intrigued with the notes in this. I found a small bottle at Winners. I like it, but I am not sure I would replace it if something happened to it. I like the marshmallow, powdery scent it presents, but it's just not 100% me.

Marshmallow, peony, and black currant/plum is what I smell in the initial spray. Moonlight smells very similar to Ari in the initial spray but the dry down it completely different. If Ari is a sugary raspberry donut that gives off flirty, pink, and soft vibes…than Moonlight is a coy, soft, and a little mysterious. At first, Moonlight is strong on the black currant/plum & peony, with a background of marshmallow. But then it eventually dries down to a powdery vanilla/marshmallow forefront, with the peony in the middle, and a kiss of berries. The peony gives it a touch of elegance and maturity but not so much that it screams too adult. Sandalwood comes and goes and gives it a nice coziness to the skin but it doesn’t make it woody or dry at all. It’s still a very sweet fragrance but compared to Ari & SLC it doesn’t compare. Yet, it is still cozy but not as much as REM. I find this is great in cold temperatures while Ari is better in warmer ones. It is a safe everyday scent and I find in the evenings or close to bed time is when I enjoy this the most. I love to layer this with BBW cotton Candy clouds or boardwalk taffy to amplify the marshmallow and berries. It is honestly one of my favorites to wear in the office as it’s very light. It does need a heavy hand (8+ sprays) to float around me but I can smell it on my clothes after 4-5 hours. It is a safe office fragrance that people do like. (27 Female)

Aw this is my first Ari perfume. It's not mind blowing however it is a nice scent and DEFINITELY smells as what I'd imagine moonlight to smell like. It reminds me of a night goddess. Very quickly dries down to marshmallow and peony however the dark berry scent is still there. Probably the deepest/darkest Ari perfume. However, it could be more complex and strong.

This perfume is alright, it works for everyday use. I think it’s a winter perfume, it lasts on my clothes but not so much on my skin. The opening notes are not my favorites, the plum here says nothing to me. But when it dries, the blend of marshmallows, peony and vanilla is really nice. Not an excellent or super lasting perfume, but a nice sweet fragrance however.

This perfume is lovely smelling! I think it smells very rich/deep as opposed to cotton candy-ish and it is heavier than Ariana's earlier perfumes. I remember spraying this on before hanging out with a friend, and she told me that she couldn't stop smelling me. She ended up buying the perfume when I told her it was "Moonlight." This is a personal favorite perfume for me but oh my god, it evaporates so fast. It definitely has to be reapplied a few times. It just does not stick.

I bought this without ever smelling it a few months ago and decided to wear it to bed tonight as a treat.

I have and love Ari and Sweet Like Candy, also have and like (once I get past that pickle blast) Thank U Next, so I thought Moonlight would be a shoo-in.

Except.... its not. I am wearing it right now, I cant detect any of the DNA in her other fragrances. This isnt sweet. It isnt soft. Its got a nasty, sharp odor.

I have had it on for ten minutes or so. Hoping that this mellows into something beautiful. If not, maybe I can give it to my sister cause yikes... this is SO not me.

When I bought this, I originally thought I would keep it because it reminded me of the same vibes I get from Bath & Bodywork's Moonlight Path. That fragrance is one I've enjoyed for about 15 years, ever since I was a teenager. Ari's Moonlight gave me the same essence, but was more wearable... or so I thought. In the end, I really enjoyed the combo of showering with Moonlight Path gel, putting on Moonlight Path lotion and finishing with Ari's Moonlight... what I realized is that this is a combo I would only ever wear for a night in the house (the closer to bedtime, the better).

Ari's Moonlight begins with a spicy (in the way ginger is spicy) and slightly powerdy smells that gives me some hope, but still smells cheap and a bit plastic-like right after the alcohol opening dries down. I must admit, in all of her perfumes, I actually struggle to find the marshmallow note (in this perfume, I also struggle to find the vanilla). Perhaps it is because my favorite marshmallow fragrances are from niche designers and tend to be strong and natural with the vanilla and powder notes. When I stuff my nose in my skin and sniff vigorously, only then can I detect the slightest and most elusive hint of marshmallow.

Also, this DOES NOT smell similar to Ari's Ari in the opening other than the same cheap/plastic DNA. However, after about 15 into the dry down I can smell a similar sweet DNA, but ONLY when I burry my nose into my skin. Appropriately, I would not consider this enough to call them similar. I own both and will be decluttering both.

Surprised at the reviews saying Moonlight is the most mature of her scents, it actually feels juvenile to me. It reminds me of when girls would douse themselves with body spray after gym class. It's overly sweet and a little cheap. It also doesn't last, not sure if that's a good or bad thing in this instance.

I've had this perfume for two years but I don't usually reach for it. I try to like it but something about it throws me off. My favorite perfume of hers is Ari, this smells like a darker n more mature version of it. The first spray is pure plum but as it dries down it opens up to those sweeter notes. After it sits on my skin for a while it smells nice, but it still has a powdery plum smell that I just can't look past or grow to like. I probably won't purchase it again.

So this is a nice perfume. Kinda like a darker version of Ari like a lot of you said. I actually think it lasts a while on skin and the drydown smells really good, like roasted marshmallows. I think overall, Ari smells better on clothes while Moonlight smells better on skin and lasts longer.

Smells really nice. Mature compared to other AG perfumes, which is great. It just doesn't perform very well. It's more of like a skin scent. Barely any sillage and doesn't last as long. But it's calming and pretty. Very good college days perfume. I'm 30 but I quite like it. In my skin, I smell mostly peony, marshmallow is just in the background but not very noticeable. I still like it. Probably would not purchase another bottle. I only have the 1 oz.

This is a nice fragrance. What is interesting is not too many reviews mention the peony. Personally, I'm pretty sensitive to peony so when I first sprayed it I got this fruity peony smell which I hated. Once it settles on the skin I get that nice powdery vanilla, warm amber smell. It's a lot nicer once it dries down but it's a skin scent. It has little lasting power compared to Ari. It's a nice perfume but I would not pay more than $25 for it.

This was my first perfume back in 2018 and I was in love with it however I haven't used it in about 1,5 years by now. Just tried it on my arm and i despise the opening omg, I wanted to wipe it off. Anyway I gave it some time the dry down is actually quite worth the wait. Very sweet, powdery, a bit vanilla-y, but still some freshness. It is nothing special but still pretty, mostly suited for younger girls imo. I also do prefer moonlight over cloud, which seems to be the favorite for most people. The performance is not the best tho but I guess it's ok if you're only out for a bit, maybe to the store. Worth it if it is on sale perhaps?

to me this scent feels like a warm, comforting hug, it's very sweet and delicate yet has this air of elegance, i absolutely adore it. i wish it lasted longer on my skin though:(

I originally purchased the body mist - which is just so weak and truly.... disappointing. So I finally bought the fragrance and I AM IN LOVE. I don't understand what people mean by this being a basic, common fragrance. I think it is totally delightful. It's light, delicate yet sweet and mouthwatering. The plum and blackcurrant add a beautiful tart and fruitiness in combination with the marshmallow its totally lush! Its not overly saccharine and in no way is childish. Its how id imagine a sugar plum fairy to smell. Its silky and mysterious yet that added touch of sweetness truly brings that fairy-like energy to scent! I truly want to want to eat my skin up! Im so sad that i wasted money on the body spray, go for the fragrance its so much better!

Moonlight opens up with juicy plum and blackcurrant and settles into a powdery marshmallow with warm sandalwood at the base. It’s soft and relaxing, very pretty and suitable for most occasions. Sadly it is the weakest-performing out of her first trio of fruity marshmallow perfumes.

This is what the sugar plum princess would smell like. It is a lovely plummy-marshmallow and dries down to a soft powdery scent. I really love this fragrance, however it does not last at all! It is very very weak at least on my skin, so I think you would be better off to buy the body mist version than the perfume. However, this is such a beautiful scent and it is one of my favourites from Ariana.

The first thing I smell is powdery marshmallows & fresh juicy fruit. Once it dries down it becomes a very soft vanilla scent. I like this perfume but I don’t think it’s anything special or something that everyone needs to have in their collection. On me it doesn’t last very long & has pretty much no projection so I tend to use this as a bedtime scent.

I smell sugared violets only, very young scent

this is one of my FAVORITES of arianas line. However sadly... this is one of her weakest perfumes. I am aware her perfumes in general don't last long, however, this one definitely is one of her weakest ones.

Moonlight is pretty much just a slightly darker version of Ari. It isn’t anything mind-blowing that I think you need or you’d be missing out on but it does smell yummy. I like wearing this at bedtime. It smells like sugar plums and marshmallows with a hint of peony and musk.

The first perfume of Ariana's that I purchased, and still one of my favorites! The performance is fairly decent in my opinion. It may not have crazy sillage or beast mode performance, but I do enjoy wearing this - Especially around the house, as it's a very comforting scent. The plum and black currant smells kind of peachy on my skin, and those notes are nicely blended with the Marshmallow and Amber. I overspray to my hearts content, because it just smells really nice.

Edit - This actually performs a lot better than Sweet Like Candy for me. I also wore this to work, and it stayed fairly well on my clothes (perfume and body mist) for a full 8 hour shift.

One of my absolute favs, can definitely detect that plum note and the marshmallow, it reminds me of midnight fantasy by Britney Spears a bit, but has a lot less sillage, it does last a fair while though, making it a good everyday and school/uni type scent.

This is my favourite out of the three ariana grande fragrances i have, which i think may be an unpopular opinion (i also have cloud and ari). cloud has too much musk for my taste, the raspberry really takes over in ari, but this one is pretty well-balanced. i really get the plum and marshmallow, and it is SO comforting! Yeah the performance isn’t the best (i find it better than what other people are saying though) and it is quite juvenile, but what else can you expect from a celebrity fragrance? I think this is the perfect scent to wear to watch movies and cuddle at home ugh, it’s just like a hug in a bottle 🥰

A nice everyday scent with barely any projection at all, it lasts on the skin for a few hours until I have to reapply. Initially smells like ripe soft plums and sweet blackcurrant, and after it's been sitting on the skin for a bit I get a soft fruity marshmallow scent. Like any other Ariana Grande scent, it's perfect for a young girl who's getting their first perfume, or anyone who just likes to smell sweet and girly.

Moonlight is the most mature one of this collection. The opening notes of plum and blackberry give the fragrance a nice deep fruity opening. The marshmallow in the heart of this fragrance reminds me a bit of the marshmallow in ari since this marshmallow is also very powdery. And the vanilla and amber also are very prominent in this fragrance . I feel like the name moonlight fits perfectly with the fragrance. This perfume is great for going on dates , colder weather and just a night perfume in general. Its comforting and a bit sexy. The bottle is my favorite out of this whole line. The scent itself lasts about 6/7 hours on me and the silage is amazing people will smell this from a few feet away.

If you apply some moisturizer before you spread it, could help with the long lasting issue, but It would stay much more longer on your clothes than your skin, so apply some on it. it’s sweet, vanilla, marshmallow are definitely there. Fun Fact (or just a random Fact nobody cares) I discovered that mostly all fragrance i like have in common: Black Currant, Peony and musk.

Not long lasting, scent is sweet and pleasant.

I blind bought a bottle of this, like, 8 months ago. I already loved SLC and TUN, so I figured I'd love this, as well. I purchased at Walmart and couldn't even wait until I got out of the parking lot to rip it out of the box. Upon first spray I smelled. . . . . .nothing.
So I sprayed it several more times. . . . . . NOTHING. There was literally no scent at all. And I don't even know how that's possible. Every note listed here are notes that I adore. Why couldn't I smell anything??? I immediately returned it. Perhaps it was because I purchased from Walmart?
However, the first time I sprayed SLC was at Walmart, and then I decided to buy the bottle at Ulta. There was absolutely no difference in the way the Walmart tester smelled versus the Ulta bottle I purchased.
I'd love to try a sample of this from a different retailer just to see if I can actually smell it. I'm really wondering if anyone else had this issue. . . . . .

Bought this scent at launch and went through probably two of the smaller size bottles before settling into my opinion. Just repurchased after a year or so for collection purposes. Packaging is still as beautiful as ever and I find the scent pleasing but not revolutionary or something I'd wear daily. Plum and marshmallow but similar to SLC in the sense that I think the marshmallow isn't recognizable and overall most of the notes are faint and not distinct, thus the overall fragrance is faint. The real downfall of this scent to me is the longevity and sillage, I've never gotten a compliment wearing this perfume because it has no projection and fades almost as quickly as I apply. I personally find even GIAW has more longevity for me than this which could also be due to the pear being so pronounced in GIAW but no particular note is intensive at all in Moonlight they're all faint. (on me at least) Also you'll burn through the bottle over spraying just to smell it on yourself.

That being said I still find this scent pretty and wearable (though short lived). Sillage is close to the skin so, like the name, this would be a good scent at night. Maybe after a shower when you're climbing into bed.

I get the plum and blackcurrant. Those are the first thing you smell and they overwhelm anything in the mid or base, I can detect the sandalwood and maybe a little peony. But what I don’t get is marshmallow at all. What they describe as marshmallow isn’t a rich creamy indulgent, eggy marshmallow. No, it’s like, if you dipped your finger in a combination or powdered sugar and sweet n low. It’s a chemical sweetness not a marshmallow sweetness

This scent is nice. I particularly enjoy the marshmallow in the mid and the vanilla and amber base. The drawback for me is the longevity. This is an intimate skin scent. I found myself having to overspray and top off in the middle of the day just to smell the fragrance.

I think this scent is similar with Jimmy Choo, I want Choo. Lovely scent!

Based on the notes, I should love this. I love all of these things...by themselves. But in this particular concoction, my skin takes these things I really love and throws them in a blender with some kind of over-the-top grandma-flower (note: I *am* grandma-aged, but....) and amps up the floral to the point where I literally gag. I've tried it several times, and every time, I can't even get to the drydown because the floral is so potent that it melts my face off. I should love it, but, needless to say, I don't. At all.

Moonlight by Ariana Grande is pleasant-ish...I think? I have no idea why my nose cannot pick up the scent of this fragrance AT ALL. I get a vague whiff of marshmallow, but that's it. It's inoffensive, sure, but just not worth it to me. I wonder if it's just my application method (I have a dabber bottle). Next time I'm in Ulta I should spray myself with the tester and see if I detect anything.

edit 12/9/2021: I sprayed a sample on my arm last night and fell asleep (big mistake, I never wear perfume to bed because it makes me feel suffocated) and woke up having an allergic reaction to this fragrance, either that or an asthma attack. It was not fun. Going to give this sample and dabber bottle to my friend. Not worth it and I can barely smell this fragrance anyway!

Bought a 50ml litteraly 20 days ago, and its almost empty already 😩
I am reaching for this perfume way too often. Ariana’s perfumes share a beautiful DNA, which is different from others celebrity perfumes. Its so cozy, sweet, warm & comforting…but top notes are a bit tart so it balance SO SO well! I get marshmallows, vanilla & plum without being to heavy and syrupy.

I don’t get the ressemblance with Prada Candy, I do own both and its nothing alike.

Projection and longevity: Soft. Sits close to the skin.

Will I repurchase? Probably yes.
I want to try the whole range of Ari’s perfume before to see if there isn’t a better one tho.

Also, bottle is gorgeous 😍

i bought this perfume a few years ago and liking it but got sick of it and now when i smell it, it smells SOO different ????!!! in a good way i actually love how it smells now maybe it’s a reformulation idk . definitely a fav of mine

This is a really pretty well balanced sweet fruity gourmand with something tart that cuts the sweetness a bit. I’ll be spraying it a lot.

This is just Ari but stronger. Ari is so weak it makes me angry lol. I absolutely love that fragrance but it lasts all but 15 minutes and then it's gone. This lasts much better and smells almost identical but just a tad less fruity. Honestly though if you like ari you'll love this. Got a compliment from my boyfriend almost immediately.

If you want to feel like you're a princess then this is your perfume. A dreamy and sweet scent that could work any time of the year. Strong marshmallow, vanilla, musky and plum scent that gives off moonlight princess vibes. A must have for teenagers and young girls! ~♥

i LOVE this perfume. definitely underrated. it’s a very romantic, cozy, comfortable scent. i don’t get the hate at all. my fav fragrance from her, never smelled anything like it. isn’t anything crazy but that’s what makes it special. perfect for relaxation, cuddling and just wanting to smell good. smells like a hug! very personal.the only thing is that it doesn’t last much on me :( i still love it tho. the plum and the black currant with the marshmallow and vanilla are a beautiful combination! my boyfriend loves it too! the sad thing is that ari didn’t pay much attention to it, since she was on tour during the making/release, even a photo of her performing moonlight the song was put on it. i guess she wasn’t into making fragrances before as she is now, the recent fragrances prove that.
the iridescent bottle and the lavender pompom totally match the smell! it’s the most mature from her range (i didn’t try r.e.m yet). doesn’t smell like a celeb fragrance like ari does. i love meditating while smelling this. it’s a vibe! def getting the body mist once i get the opportunity, people say it’s really good too.

Synthetic, headache inducing, and cheap. This is the type of celebrity sponsored junk churned out to make a buck, not to be a quality item. The scent is forgettable and generic. Regret buying.

Beautiful fragrance, that could work any time of the year. I love AG's line, and this may be my new favorite. The combination of the plum (a note I've been obsessed with lately) with the marshmallow, sandalwood, ahh it's so good. A very versatile scent, but memorable. Great value for the price

I just purchased a bottle today. Wait, why don’t I hear more good raves & reviews on this?! It’s so good! It doesn’t smell youthful like a typical celeb scent. It smell designer or high end. It gives me Mon Guerlain vibes, but not exactly alike. This is really nice! I love it! I only picked up a 1oz but I wish I got a bigger bottle now. I don’t get all the notes listed, but I get lavender? Definitely fruity, powdery, sweet & floral. I’ve tried all the Ariana perfumes & this is definitely my fav.

At first smelling this a while back and liking the sweet vanilla smell i got it. But i almost never wore it because it was just so flat and boring smelling. It's made me not want to try any perfumes from this whole line. My bottle is atleast 3 years old and i think it's gone bad by now and will be getting rid of it.. what a waste. Invest in a body mist before getting this i have body mist that smell better amd perform better

Bought it at my local retail store. I remembered I liked it on a magazine test strip, so I just went from the notes. This is a beautiful well balanced fruity vanilla and slightly powdery perfume. I would recommend it if you like Prada Candy. This is meant to be smelled when you hug a person, something almost personal. I don't recommend it if you looking for a fragrance that lasts more than three hours.

The smell is really pretty. But the projection is not there at all. I can barely smell it without sniffing my skin! And it doesn't last. It's really sad cause I love how it smells, but there's literally no point in wearing it. Maybe to bed, but that's it.

This perfume is SO good. I got the body mist first and it had a very fun berry scent. What I mean by that is that it had a very sweet berry scent. But, that’s just the body mist. I finally bought the perfume and it smelled exactly like plums and some sort of berries in it. It had a deep sweet, very sexy. I love wearing it because I literally smelled like plums. It’s so good.

This for me was a blind purchase. I tend to stay away from celebrity perfumes as I prefer designer perfumes or perfumes with unique scents. I was pleasantly surprised.

This perfume had me blown away. It does not resemble the usual, poor quality nose offending scents that can occur with celebrity perfumes. This scent is sweet, delicious and lives up to it's name Moonlight.

It is presented in a beautiful lavender coloured box that opens with doors revealing the perfume and in my case, a mini travel sized Moonlight perfume which I thought was a nice touch. The perfume itself comes in a circular lavender bottle with pointed edges, and a cute purple puffy keychain attached.

The scent is a very smooth flowing sweet, vanilla powdery scent which is pleasant to the nose. It is not an overbearing scent, but just enough to be distinct. It does remind me of a scent that would sit more comfortably with young women, I am 24 and I feel that it is an exiting, girly feminine scent which would be perfectly suited to an evening out. It oozes, innocence, sweetness and shyness. With a hint of mystery. This perfume gives me endearment and appreciation for my youthfulness.

The scent lasts for a considerable amount of time, about 6 hours or so. It is not strong enough to be picked up on another side of the room however you would receive a fairly strong scent if you walked past somebody, and that's what I like about it.

Overall I definitely would purchase again 9/10.

This is such a beautiful, intoxicating and mysterious smell, sweet.
I really liked this perfume from the get go! This perfume lasts SO long for me! ... Even overnight and the next morning there is still a hint of this perfume (when I sprayed it the morning before). So it's extremely long-lasting for me.
I adore the scent, but the first time I wore it my boyfriend said it smelled like a guy's fragrance hahaha. And I absolutely don't agree, but I have actually smelled a perfume sample the other day which I absolutely loved and it said it was for men HAHA. I wonder what that means for me, hmm.

Okay i'm an ari fan, for sure! I love the bottle, and its color, and the packaging! I was expecting something sweet, but this perfume is not sweet at all! It is fresh and powdered! And then I can not smell it so strongly! Unfortunately, it is also gone after a minute. I'm a big ari fan, so of course I would like to have all her perfumes, and this one is in a third place, and it would have been in first place if she had made it good and more quality. This perfume has no value, it smells cheaper than what I have ever smelled. And then it is really expensive in terms of how long it lasts and how powerful it is. I'm really disappointed because the perfumes she makes are my style and it was Ariana who made me open my eyes to perfumes. But her perfumes are just not quality anymore, and so the expensive ones!
