it genuinely stinks
headache inducing monster
don't blind buy
i hate it

Hypnotic Flower

I really wanted to like this, I had high expectations but I just can't with patchouli. It's all my nose can pick, it makes me sick and gives me a massive migraine. I can see why it's considered a sexy scent but sadly for me it's a huge pass. Maybe I'll give it another chance in the future!

rene.saller

It surprises me that almost as many Fragranticans downvoted the Fakhar Rose comparison as upvoted it. To me they smell very much the same, especially on drydown, but I have had Fakhar Rose for several months, and it is fully matured now; I wonder if some of the downvotes are from people who sniffed Fakhar Rose before it was ready. Who can say? I'm glad to have a travel sprayer of this, but I doubt I will need a full bottle, because I don't think I would be able to tell them apart 20 or 30 minutes in, once the black pepper note of the L'Interdit Intense starts to dissipate. I like tuberose, but only in moderation, and this is a tuberose bomb. The vetiver and vanilla in the base are quite beautiful, and I'm guessing the ingredients might be blended a bit more elegantly in the L'Interdit Intense. The bottle is gorgeous, too, and almost worth buying on that account. But when I run though my travel sprayer, I will probably be content with Fakhar Rose and save my perfume budget for something that knocks my socks off.

nakota

It's one of these perfumes that smell generic but at the same time you cannot pinpoint anything exactly like them. On my skin (and I haven't let the bottle breathe yet) it's mainly a velvety mixture of tuberose and orange blossom. I get little pepper (and surprisingly enough, rather in the middle than in the opening) and not too much of vanilla, but I do get sesame, which is a very interesting bridge between tuberose and orange blossom.
To make it darker without ruining the scent, I'd potentially layer it on something like Reminiscence's Patchouli. On it's own it's mysterious enough but I wouldn't necessarily call it dark. 'Opulent' is probably the best word to describe it. Definitely seductive, potentially cloying if oversprayed.

The original L'Interdit was always just an OK perfume for me. I liked the Rouge one much more, but it was generic and too popular. Intense is easily the best one from the line for me. Wanted to write 'Love at first sniff' at the beginning of this review, but I sense something off that may ultimately ruin it for me. It may be pepper digging through the white florals so it looks like the pyramid is pretty upside down for me.

I'd highly recommend thorough testing before buying, as it has potential to be especially prone to skin chemistry.

fckgod

Whoever says this perfume is spicy is going insane. Its extremely sweet and vanilla.

neperia

too spicy and masculine for me

Elyka21

Very peppery, but not in a good way, very strong but remaining very feminine, becomes even more beautiful and sophisticated once the tuberose starts coming through, beautifully blended with the rest of the notes. I can wear it all year round. Got myself the biggest bottle available in a good deal, very pleased.

malake

This smells amazing, it's very generic but I couldn't stop myself from reaching for it

nellyrlight

I was late to try this gem. And it’s an absolute treasure! This could be in my top 10 most favorite among nearly 2000 bottles (I know; I’m insane-) at home. This is everything I look for in a perfume!

Laurencopé

This is my signature scent. It's woody, vanillary and gourmand. The original notes of l'inderdit help mellow it out but on my skin they aren't exactly at the forefront. On my skin it is very woody and very vanillary. However, most scents lean more vanilla and gourmand on my skin. The sesame is something else. When I think I'll sesame, I assume sesame oil however, in this it creates this really sophisticated woody vanilla. There is also a hint of leather in it that isn't animalic but oddly soft. I don't think you will find a scent as sophisticated, complex and well blended as this at this price. It generally smells like it should be triple the price and I am genuinely terrified if it being discontinued.

Letmeregister

The white florals are noticeable but also the pepper, it just smells a little too spicy. It is also really isn't well liked, everyone around me that smelled it disliked it a lot.

moneo

My FAVORITE Givenchy L'Interdit perfume. I used to have Rouge as my favorite, but decided to blind buy this and give it a try, and I'm never looking back. Currently on my second bottle as well, and I'm ready to get back ups. It's so comforting and mysterious. Confidence in a bottle. Getting out of the shower and applying this, is peak relaxation.

francesco_grieco

The beauty and complexity of the Interdit line in a deeper and most opulent fashion. Amazing!

frionita

Very Luxurious, Long last, love it so much

tracytran29

very last long. a sexy scent. luxurious. Suitable for cool evening parties. 9/10.

depthofwinter

Ugh, i can't get over this perfume. It's incredible, i adore every single part of it. I feel so good wearing this.

Célia Pais

I tested again.. And oh my God.. Is delicious ♥️

chloe_pip

I own Rouge which I adore so thought I’d risk this in my subscription. While I like the fragrance, to me this smells like the smell you get when you walk into Lush and it sticks to your hair and clothes. It’s pleasant, but I think the black bottle and word ‘intense’ in its name is misleading. For me there’s nothing dark or mysterious to this fragrance. I’ll stick to Rouge!

s1nnr

Blind buy so I was really hoping I would like it as much as I thought and it exceeded my expectations 💕. I've seen reviews saying it smells like grape and that's what sold me since I'm very into the syrupy grape smell in Lancome Hypnose and this one sounded so perfect. The listed notes don't do this justice. Such a sweet, alluring and unique white floral perfect for me and my personality. I imagine a quiet, pretty charismatic girl that lives in her own world wearing this but I have also seen people describe this as kind of like a confident girlboss type of smell.

Célia Pais

I smelled this perfume in the store and the first spray I gave the tape it only smelled like milk. Plain milk, when it's boiling... I hated it... I put the tape off and couldn't even put it on my skin. However, I only hear and read good comments about the perfume. Which makes me indignant because I love vanilla and everyone speaks highly of this vanilla. Has anyone smelled the same as me?? It's just that I don't conform to what I felt, nor does it coincide with the opinions I read. I feel like I have to smell it again.

shery k

dark , strong , beautiful and confident same like oG
but more stronger
love it

Beacon631

Strong Patchouli. In a sweet way. Takes me back to the 70’s but is modern nonetheless. Reminds me heavily of Lush’s Karma. I prefer the Givenchy. The Patchouli overtakes all of the other notes but others can be sensed. I love Vetiver fragrances. The combination makes this one of my favorites.

Mitnavnerlene

On my skin - sweet patchouli :-( sadly. Boring.

Gillzathrillza

This is a beautiful scent. To kick off, it’s bold and loud, feminine and dark. I love it.

The mix of tuberose and Jasmine with vanilla is a stunner.

However, as my perfume collection has grown I’ve not reached for it as frequently. Going back to it today, I’m finding that the performance isn’t where it needs to be, especially for something named Intense. After some liberal overspraying, only lasting 3 hours isn’t enough, and to not be able to smell it on myself after 5 hours is disappointing.

In short: I love this. But I love the Nocturnal Jasmine flanker more!

nachtdiamant

It has been a long time since a perfume has excited and frustrated me with equal measure. This fragrance gives femme fatale vibes. It is sweet, sexy, mysterious and slightly spicy. I seem to not get as much sesame as others though. The black pepper also escapes my nose for the most part. I smell a darker, slightly more mature version of the OG Edp. The Madagascar Vanilla is divine! I love it so much. This perfume is captivating, uncommon enough without being weird. It captures the energy I want to give with my scent. I would not mind to be known by this scent and wear it for the rest of my life. But this is the second perfume recently that is signature scent worthy to me but doesn't perform the way I need it to. It projects and lasts only moderately on my skin and on clothes. And if I overspray the first few minutes are cloyingly sweet taking away the beauty of the scent profile. I really wish it would last longer. Maybe it will perform better in the spring (it is currently freezing cold where I live). But it will probably not be suitable to wear in the summer. I will keep testing and layering it. I won't give up yet because the essence of this perfume is everything I want in a perfume.

BikiniSoTeeny

Poppy seed pie filling
As far as projection goes: on my thirsty, dry skin its really moderate at best

rainangel

this is the absolute perfect perfume for me. i finally bought a big bottle of my own recently, but i've adored it since i first came across it over a year ago. i feel like nothing i can write will do it justice, you just have to try it.

dark, complex, sensual, almost gothic but in a feminine way. you need to be bold to wear it in the first place due to its nature and how strong and long lasting it is, but you need to be a great deal bolder to wear it outside of autumn and winter. i know it's available for everyone to buy and i'm posting this review publicly, but i feel like gatekeeping this scent as mine and only mine to wear all year round when going out, much like how audrey hepburn wanted the original l'interdit to be forbidden for anyone else to wear (hence the name).

it might as well have my name written on it, it's as if my exact personality and style was liquified into a glossy black bottle. obviously i am only one person, and i don't think this would suit many people, but if you feel a similar way about this fragrance as i do, we would probably get along well and have very fun girls' nights out together.

babypong

I like this. Definitely need to let it dry down before making judgements. After dry down she is creamy sweet and reminiscent of DG devotion but more mature and refined. I always prefer the intense version of a perfume and this delivers that. It has strong silage and lasts pretty well. Hope to add this to my collection someday

crissy25

I enjoy this entire line. This one and the rouge are my favorite. This fragrance is very creamy with a gorgeous tuberose. The sesame note gives it something special. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it rounds out the fragrance beautifully. This is a great night time and cold weather scent. She's bold and creamy. Oh and the performance is excellent.

Longevity: 8/10

This perfume reminds me of: creamy chewy Nerds candy. It’s sweet, tangy and creamy all at the same time.

The black bottle is a perfect representation of how one feels when they wear L’interdit Intense; polarising, sexy, mysterious, unforgettable, strong, and has a presence that is unmatched. Everyone will stop in their tracks to see who you are because you smell intoxicating. It’s a vibe and mentally I become my alter ego when I wear L’interdit Intense and one can only imagine what that is.

The sesame note is what takes the cake; it’s gives this fragrance that little “ je ne sais quoi” moment - you smell the nuttiness and the oiliness from the sesame note taking my senses to another level.

Must try fragrance, instant love for me, and love wearing it in cooler weather since it’s strong! Givenchy outdid themselves with this flanker. The best out of all of them hands down and it doesn’t smell designerish at all!

Sarra816

This is a rich, creamy, peppery scent with sesame and vanilla to soften it -- this has the same vibe as L'interdit rouge but this one is darker and more mysterious. It makes people ask you, "what are you wearing?" It is a wonderful scent and not very common, I like it a lot for winter nights.

leahlzander

All I get is syrupy-sweet patchouli and spice. Deeply unpleasant.

Darling of Disquiet

I got the og just a couple of weeks ago and I love it. But I had a feeling that this one was going to be a bigger love and I was right. My husband found my packages on our porch and brought them in. I've gotten him into my love for all things fragrance. Well he opened this bottle up and sprayed it once into the air. He said it was so strong he thought it was going to wake me up. It didn't wake me but over an hour later I could still smell it in the area around my couch. I've only had it for not even an hour and it's already doing things that I love in my favorite dark fragrances, strength being number 1. I am detecting a change in the scent now with the one spray on my hand, it smells sweeter and stronger if possible. I'll update after I've had a few days with her. But she's gorgeous 🥰

LEM922

This is exceptionally strong. Lol. Honestly, on first spray I dont know what I’m smelling. Just a very strong opening. When it starts to mellow, the sesame note REALLY comes through. I like it! It has an interesting character. More narcotic tuberose, and the vanilla is a lot more prominent in this version than the original l’interdit. They’re different enough to justify owning both. I like this one slightly more than the OG, although both are stunning. I’m definitely pleased with it!

GUADELUPA

So beautiful scent! I can smell sesame, tuberose, orange blossom. The pepper is very light here. Patchouli is delicate and soft. This fragrance is sweety, but not sweet. Sesame is a good choice, I like this note so much! Longevity and sillage is eternal. The black bottle seems to imply something heavy, but for me it's a light creamy tuberose supplemented with sesame and vanilla. At first I thought it's unisex, but the more I wear it, the more I beleive that this is the 100% feminine scent. Very beautiful and comfortable at any time of the year. My favorite flanker of L'Interdit!

disintigratedwoman

I own the Rouge version of l’Interdit (which I adore), therefore wanted to compare to this one. After spraying one on each wrist, here are my thoughts:

At first spray the Intense version has a sweet note that differentiates it from Rouge - possibly the sesame? I’m not too wild about it. This note stays from the opening straight until the dry down. Apart from this note, what sets Intense apart is more so what it *doesn’t* have versus what it does have. The Intense version doesn’t have the level of spice and depth that Rouge does. As many have mentioned, Rouge has a ‘spice’ which balances out the sweet Interdit jasmine beautifully. Also, while Rouge becomes more complex, creamy and addictive as it moves towards the dry down, the Intense stays pretty linear on my skin. I also don’t catch the vanilla note that is in the note pyramid (shame, as I’m a huge vanilla lover).

Longevity is similar for both flankers, however projection seems stronger with Rouge.

Overall, the Intense version is a decent flanker in this line, however Rouge is still by far my favourite due to the spicy notes (which balance out the sweetness nicely) as well as its stronger projection. My boyfriend also preferred this one on me.

My ranking of the line (favourite to least favourite) are: Rouge, Intense, Rouge l’Ultime, and original EDP. I have yet to test the original EDT.

Hope this helps for anyone undecided on this line!

nikxx

All beautiful things
innocent and sweet
until they are no longer so.

That's exactly what the bottle implies:
A tuberose field after a wildfire!
Peppery, deep, very deep, soul-scorching.
You never knew darkness would taste so sweet.

autumnblue914

They better not discontinue this because Rouge is more popular, it's so unique and so stunning. If they ever do I'm getting a backup or two immediately.

Definitely try it out a few times, the very first time I smelled it I could just smell leather and I didn't like it. But then I tested it again and fell in love. I did hear that sometimes when smelling a fragrance for the first time your nose doesn't smell it properly so keep that in mind. Always give things a few tries, and always test on your skin!

Andy224

Smells quite strong and indeed intense. It sort of keeps the OG’s DNA except that seems more unisex and lasts longer but this ain’t a safe blind buy.

MagdalenaM

I wore a sample and a friend said I smelled great. But to me this scent is so bitchy. Just like Chanel Coco Noir (okay maybe not THAT bitchy, but in that lane). It has that darkness to it that goes a little too deep for my taste.

No offense to anyone also...

Otherwise it is a sexy scent, deep, dark, you get the L'Interdit DNA with a strong dose of sesame and some tuberose. A night time scent, designer DNA with a domineering personality.

Thykes10

The opening is definitely different compared to other tuberose scents. I pick up on a slight sweetness but it has spice right from the start- likely from the sesame and black pepper. Stronger projection and has more of a nighttime feel because of the spice and intensity. Would definitely be cloying in warmer weather. Has a nutty vanilla sweetness as it dries down. Feels more "black leather jacket" and gives off an edgy vibe that doesn't quite suit me.

Suncica7

The opening heavenly with the paper, creaminess is so appealing, it is sweet but likeable.
However in the dry down it gets super sweet and so like Scandal by Night, which I find terribly sugary, that I am confused. Would enjoy everything but the drydown, and then , again, I am so used to the dry downs being the best a perfume can offer, I don't know if I would wear this.
However, mass appealing so try it, you may like it.

zokhruf.omer

Cannot for the life of me relate to the positive reviews. Positively turns my stomach as soon as I spray it. Isn't working for me in the transitional season will try again in fall and winter.....

elenalois

Smells like buttery sweet popcorn to me! Very weird I think it is because of the white floral with sesame

deaccs

Very similar to other L’interdit fragrances with the exception of the sesame/vanilla/patchouli dry down. Definitely valid for any season as it’s not particularly offensive or cloying. As others have mentioned, I find that this fragrance emits a nutty sweetness after an hour or two that makes it stand apart from the others in the same line. Performance seems decent but slightly less powerful than Rogue.

samsara1977

Sniffed a bunch of fragrances (and I mean a LOT) and this was one of the few that stood out. Going through Givenchy history this must be my favorite perfume house. They always nail it, Dominique knows his job!

perfume_angel

This has a very deep and warm floral aura to it. It smells really sexy but approachable at the same time

Givenchy l’interdit intense is a thick, sweet, nutty white floral fragrance. The perfect mix between tuberose and orange blossom gives off a bubblegummy vibe. A bit like grape bubble gum with a warm nutty sesame background. It is very suitable for winter and it is a perfect date night fragrance. Spraying this will make you feel so put together, elegant, confident and just boss lady vibes.

Longevity and sillage are outrageous. Like VERY strong. This stuff lasts forever on my skin and projects like crazy. If you are a tuberose lover run don’t walk you have to try this.

Ps. This is in the same family as ralph lauren woman intense and l’interdit rouge.

10/10 🖤

Elfin Will

Very reminiscent of the original l'Interdit, but more intense... There's more vanilla in it and the sesame note is very present (but far from being my favorite...). If you want a real change from the original l'Interdit, go for l'Interdit Rouge! <3

8/10

beaucafea

I will forever repurchase this. This is such a sexy, empowering scent, every woman should at least try it, if not own it. LOOOVE it on me in the cold weather.

autumnblue914

Absolute love <3

The very first time I smelled it I didn't like it but any time I've smelled it after that I've loved it. I want to buy the entire line.

AngelaPlat

I found this bears some similarities to Jo Malone's tuberose Angelica. I would layer the JM body cream with it, it lasts forever

Hadis.I

Creamy, cozy, sensual, mysterious, bitter and earthy in the drydown... reminiscent of academia aesthetic
and autumn weather for me :)

ceeceelee

Of all four, I love this one. I have Rouge as well, but my nieces steal that one ~ so I don't count as having, lol ~ but it's nice, too. This one, to me, is the creamiest and the sesame adds a great counterpoint to the tuberose. Love the bottle, I have a thing for pretty packaging, so it's a win win.

Edited to add; quality is very good, but I'm not sure about blind buying. Tuberose can be polarizing but this is such an updated tuberose, the structure of this is well done. Also, it took a few weeks for the black pepper to calm down for me. After that, the vanilla rules.

Bimbo1024

I tried the original, rouge and the intense, intense is my favorite. For me it’s the sesame note that has me obsessed. It makes me feel sexy. Anytime I wear this perfume I always get compliments. I also do like the rouge and would get one later on. The sillage of this perfume on me is shocking. Obsessed with this perfume

Gourmandgurl888

Disclaimer: I’m only smelling this from the card and haven’t tried on my skin.

WOW SEXY! So sensual, this is the fragrance where i feel that sexy leather done right for females! Even though it doesn’t have any leather?? Maybe its a mix of some base notes but my god i love this! This is adult. This is sexy. This is womanly. Have got to try it out on my skin later, will update

inesita75

I hate this on me. Can't describe exactly why. It just smells strong and awful. The patchouli is hideous too.
It's strange how much I hate this since I usually at least like most perfumes (hence my large and eclectic collection).
On my mom it smells better and she really likes it (she bought this one and the original), so maybe its a chemistry thing. Or maybe it is one of those perfumes that smell better on the sillage (on others) than up close.
In any case, try before you buy.

TatianaChoco

One beautiful perfume. I bought it yesterday and I think, it is suitable for summer weather. It is sweet-spicy scent and really long lasting.

gina aesi

I adore it. It's semi-sweet, delicious even, but it doesn't choke me or kids I work with.
A bit mysterious, warm and spicy, yet suitable for everyday wear. Creamy and v. intimate. Intense in a name ? Totally misleading imo. The OG is a killer, this is a Cutie. Actually…Is it in some way refreshing? I can't quite
put my finger on it. It's sunny June and it doesn't make me feel like a melted donut even in the face of massive heat's waves, but I also understand why some people may find it unsuitable for spring/summer time. It doesn't seems to be so popular like OG or its Rouge sis, which is fine with me, but... I just really, really hope they'll not discontinue this treasure.

lady_ireth264

Just like what everybody said, the opening note is very bubblegummy, somehow reminiscent to Mugler's Alien grape note I don't know why hahaha... it's just my nose.
I like this bubblegum note, it's juicy not suffocating at all.
After a while, the sesame note comes in and this actually makes the perfume interesting for me.
The ending with smoky vanilla is also delicious.
On me, this perfume is long lasting and with moderate sillage, better for cooler weather, rainy season, spring and fall.
A gorgeous one from Givenchy.
I may want to try and sniff the original L'Interdit.

angelicaswanson

This perfume is sooo underrated. I think it is so versatile since it smells fresh and dark/sophisticated at the same time so you can use it during the daytime AND the nighttime. It also smells clean without smelling like soap. It is kind of unique, i don't remember smelling anything like this before. This is one of those perfumes that just smells delicious.

electric_evelyn

This is definitely a winter scent/cold weather scent. Of course it has the Interdit DNA, but it also has something else that I don't really like. Not a safe blind buy. I honestly think the original is intense enough as it is and this flanker was not needed.

vanillaorchid

My favorite is Rouge, then Intense, then the EDT, then the original. When I first read about this scent I was too excited for the sesame note, as I love the seeds and oil, but it's just a touch, not really noticeable unless you know it's in there and you look for it. Slightly smoky comparing to the original but is still quite vanillary. I didn't like it when I first tried it, but the last time I did so it resembled the original more, with its happy little quirks. In my opinion, this line can be very redundant, which for me is good since I love subtle varieties within my favorite scents. The Intense version would therefore be considered the 'work appropriate' L'interdit.

anntdangg

Dark, mature, alluring perfume.
Interesting with sesame note.

ShaneScents

It's been a while since I've been blown away by a perfume. I smelt this a few days ago. I was on a night out and this beautiful alternative girl smelt amazing. She was dressed in black. Piercings. Dark hair. She smelt so intoxicating. I recognised the scent profile as I love white florals. So I asked her...
I own Rouge and the original is just 'okay'. The intense has a grape like quality with a slight hint of liquorice. It's sweet but dense. I can't wait to buy a bottle and wear this for a night out. When people say 'gothic' or 'femme fatale' they are not lying. 10/10 for me.

milamrvi

it's dark, it's sexy, it's femme fatale, it's sweet but not nauseating. incredibly long-lasting, the dry-down is to die for. wear with caution! might trigger someone's primal urges <3

OmtzBarbara

Smells like a funeral home to me.

EvaNicoleFragrance

Love in a bottle for me. But then again, I adore tuberose, so it makes sense. This is a tuberose bomb.

I dislike jasmine, so the edp didn’t do it for me, but this is the one. Sweet grapey gumball - somehow also opulent and deep- I can see this being my signature in cold weather with Fakhar in warmer months.

lickroicevanille

There's something extremely annoying my nose in l'interdit. The original is like old, stale bubblegum. Then I sampled Rouge, which I immediately fell in love with, like it was a completely separate / different scent. A year after, now when the weather got warmer, I sampled them all again and my nose picked up the Intense. I ordered a tester on eBay. Will come back here soon to review.

Ps. Intense is definitely not a right name for this scent. If anything, the Rouge version is intense, but as it has blood orange then it made sense to call it rogue... 🤷🏼

This is nice, very interesting, very feminine cozy, sexy, yet fresh, not typically vanillic and even it is an intense version, it is less loud then the Original. I am quite surprised, that nobody complimented me (but I am wearing fragrances for myself) but what I meant to explain it is not a room filler fragrance. I mean if you hug someone or sit close next to, they will notice you, but this fragrance is not a beast mode like f.e. Montale.

Somebody mentioned a licorice note - NOPE, I hate Anais/licorice it is not present. What I can detect is something fresh that came through and I am not sure from what exact component but it makes the perfume airy.

Good Job!

I was looking for a white flower power femme fatale with a twist perfume .
So I tried this whole line convinced that it’d be one or the other .
I ‚blame‘ it on skin chemistry. No one’s fault really.

The original was super soapy and clean , even though it was heavy and spicy on other people . I had high hopes for the original ….. then the rouge and now this one .
No.
Very sweet and dirty vanilla-patchouli on me.
Beast mode this one.

I’m sticking to the first perfume I smelled and tried that quenches my cravings of femme fatale white flower power:
Prada Paradoxe.

I like this one, thank god, I hated the Rouge version. They were both blind buys as I was feeling FOMO and being influenced from all the glowing reviews. The red one smelled like cherry mothballs hovering over a murky, gritty, sweet base. This has a sweet, fruity, syrupy orange flower tuberose over a solid cosy, not too sweet, vanilla dominant base, it’s so much cleaner than the rouge. There is a great usage of sesame in the middle that gives it a slightly creamier, hint of warmth saltiness like salt in a cookie that balances everything out. Thumbs up.

fformoso88

I love the original L’interdit. I think it’s such a beautiful, timeless, classic scent. I bought this flanker and the Rouge I love both flankers but this one is so gorgeous! I definitely get more vanilla and patchouli notes but not the nauseating type of patchouli this one is sweet due to the white florals. I love this scent I think it’s absolutely gorgeous! I definitely recommend it. It’s sweet, sexy, sophisticated. It smells more expensive than what it actually is too which I can appreciate. I love this scent it’s so sexy! Lasts a long time too on me.

Revontuli

I've read many comments on L'Interdit Rouge being a "vampire scent", and honestly, my interest in this whole line started off from that (vampire fan-girl here!). I don't really care much about the rest of the line except this and L'Interdit Rouge as the bottles are so tempting and the scent profile suits me the best. Honestly, I would classify this also as a very gothic scent, but imagine a "glam goth". Extremely sexy. I know I will want to wear this when I'm dressed in full black to feel extra confident and vampy.

SailorV

I'm not a huge fan of L'Interdit, but I often like Intense flankers better than their pillar fragrances and the notes of this sounded good, so I had to try it. And yes, I definitely enjoy this much more than the EDP! It's still a sugary, vanilla-infused white floral, just like the original, but a little less bubbly. Tuberose and orange blossom are quite strong and syrupy sweet in here. I always got a nutty, gourmandish undertone from L'Interdit for some mysterious reason, and the sesame note in this one amplifies that in a very good way. The black pepper and patchouli add some more depth and make it a little zingy. There is something about this that reminds me of dusty old-school fragrances from decades ago, but not in a bad way, it's an interesting touch to the otherwise very modern scent profile.
This perfume becomes smoother and warmer as it dries down, which is always a plus in my opinion.

I don't think that this is a super deep and dark scent fitting for a black bottle. It's just a slightly darker, more mature version of a very bright and sweet floral.
Just like with the Rouge flanker, I would have loved this if they had turned the L'Interdit DNA down a little more in favor of the additional spicy notes. The way it is, it's more of a like: Nice to smell, but I don't feel the need to go out and buy it.

jessica_chinos

I love the licorice note on this perfume, I don't know why it's not listed. I love this scent, it's dark, seductive, not too sweet and completely hypnotizing. It lingers on clothes and I love smelling it on myself for hours, strongly recommend buying. Night scent, for fall and winter or cold days in general.

smellslikecoffee

I really, really like lÍnterdit Rouge and I enjoy l´Interdit EDP. So I was very curious about l´Interdit Intense and ordered a sample.

I think the ´intense´ in this frag is in the opening.
Because, WOW, the opening was quite a ´blast from the past´ for me! I smelled roasted sesame, but it was overpowered by a scent that my grandmother would wear.

Don't know what it is exactly. I smell it in several perfumes. I cannot find the ingredient that causes this 'old-fashioned' scent. Any suggestions? Please let me know!

Anyways, I love the smell of roasted sesame ànd my grandma. But not on me... Plus I find the combination confusing.

Fortunately, the opening lasts only for 10 minutes or so. After that l'Interdit Intense dried down into its very pleasant present self.

For me personally: l'Interdit Rouge definitively remains my favorite! The opening is great and lingers on my skin. It lasts longer as well!

lmnsvgz

Pretty much identical to the original. Maybe a slight toasted sesame note but that's it, I barely smell it. I thought it would make it a bit more interesting, but no. Just get the original and if you want a black bottle for the aesthetic, buy this one.

tiger_eyes_

Wow I wasn't expecting what I got when I first sprayed it. They weren't kidding with that pepper. It's giving quite a unisex vibe in the opening and I was a lil' bit miffed. But once it settles down you can smell that L'Interdit DNA and it blends into something more feminine and creamier. I quite like it and I'm gonna wear it for sure but I wouldn't say this is a safe blind buy so try a sample before. Gothic vibes and far darker than the EDP. Not as feminine and sweet. The opening is very peppery, minty and it literally stings.
I could see Lydia Tar (watch TAR) wearing this. It takes a special kind of woman to pull this fragrance off.

Rkzz84

I blind bought this because my go to is the original edp so I thought I would love it too. I have never been so disappointed with this range before. I’m not saying I don’t like the smell but it literally lasted for like 20 minutes n was gone. I made so many people try it because I thought I was loosing my sense of smell and they all agreed. The actual edt Which i love too lasted way longer then this did. It’s pretty but not worth the price. I paid more for this then the 2 others in the l’interdit line I bought and wouldn’t buy it ever again. Just wish it was stronger.

LanaDelSlay

I don't know how I feel about this because it has a masculine vibe, sometimes I like it sometimes I don't.

LiliiiS

just by looking at the notes and reading the reviews, I was pretty sure I will prefer L'interdit Intense to L'interdit edp but now that I have samples of each of them, I can see that I was wrong.
L'interdit Intense has a noticable L'interdit DNA in it's opening. the same heady, slightly spicy white flowers with warm, ambery sweetness but this time in a darker background. I can detect something like plum or blackcurrent in it's opening which makes it darker and different from her sister. the overall vibe of Givenchy L'interdit Intense at least during the first half an hour reminds me of Manifesto Le Parfum and Clinique Aromatics In Black. two perfumes which I own and like.
I was really looking forward to smell sesame here. in my country they put tones of sesame on almost every bread and I love it's taste and smell. but unfortunately I couldn't detect any sesame here. maybe the thing that smells like tonka in sesame? I don't know but tonka was the thing that came to my mind not sesame. even without sesame, I was enjoying it. I was hesitant to choose the love bottom or the like one but it suddenly changed and made me to choose dislike.
it dries down to something very masculine. I don't know if it's the mix of black pepper, patchouli and vetiver or what. call me crazy but I also smell something like leather. it covers most of the sweetness or florals and change it to something earthy, leathery, smokey, dirty, bitter, slightly spicy and 100% masculine.they were not joking when writing the main accords up there. when smelled from far, it still has some of it's nice opening self but I have the habit of sniffing my hand again and again when I wear perfumes and I can't tolerate to smell something like this on myself. it's definitely a cold weather perfume and a strong one. and it's totally uni IMHO. if you're a man and you're into white florals, I highly recommend you to give it a try.
I know that a lot of people will enjoy this because it's very different from usual feminine perfumes. it's just not for me. fortunately there's still L'interdit edp which I love

CallHerAnUber

I fell in love today. Hard. Two sprays of this unique and sultry beauty and I immediately purchased a full bottle. I've been searching absolutely everywhere for a signature scent. This is it. It's creamy and floral, just a little bit sweet and little bit spicy. I get the creamy sesame and some pepper. I imagine I can smell the vetiver. I love vetiver. The florals smell a bit like grape juice without smelling cheap or immature. The vanilla is absolutely gorgeous. There's something that smells a bit like liquorice. This perfume smells scrumptious but it isn't a gourmand, or girlie, or young. It's ageless. It's sophisticated and earthy but also clean and fresh. A little bit slutty and dangerous, but nobody would dare say a word to the boss bitch wearing it. The colour I associate with this perfume would be the deepest, darkest purple.

I was told the scent filled the room, but wasn't overbearing or nauseating. I went to the grocery store and people's heads swivelled around to stare at me. My husband loves it and he doesn't give a damn about perfume. he said it smells like watermelon and maple syrup. No, it doesn't, but these are his favourite scents so it's a compliment of the highest order.

I absolutely recommend everyone try this perfume. Not a safe blind buy but a must-try.

Milenahvc

This is sooo strong on me!! One spray under my shirt is enough. Def. cold weather/night scent. Nauseating when oversprayed. It lasts forever on clothes. I sprayed 3 sprays on a sweater first time I wore it, and it still smelled of it at the end of the week. Crazy.

tilapia_johnson

Deep, dark tuberose with some exotic touches. The tuberose is heavy and grape-y, along with the orange blossom. Something about the sesame and vanilla brings to mind the confection halva, and together with the rich, fruity-florals, it evokes peanut butter and jelly. Not that it is sweet or sugary, it is warm, spicy, intoxicating, and sensuous (pepper, patchouli, and vetiver add an aggressive sexual quality to this). One of the few perfumes deserving of being in a jet black bottle. Would be a great signature scent, but you must start with a love of tuberose.

TheNyx2003

There is a sweet _ bitter battle in this fragrence i can easily recognize tuberose and sesame and an unnamed note that IMO it's grape ! or maybe something that reminds me a dense and sweet grape syrup which i REALLY liked it , the main accords in order are tuberose , grape and sesame ( at least in my nose ) and this combination with paper has bitter_sweet , floral and earthy vibe which it has depth and sesuality , i was just able to pick vanilla in the drydown , i have to say the performance of l'interdit intense is legend ! , everywhere that you go everyone notice you , i can still smell it 10+ hours !

Edit : i might add this is so unique , dosen't have the all women designer perfumes dna so i offer to don't blindbuy it , test it before buy , my mom also HATE it she says it smells like food it's too spicy , for sure at the beggining it's too spicy but after 1 hour it turns really and in the drydown vanilla is noticable which makes me happy

Golabd

Nice scent but from beginning is skin scent.

jasmine2278

I have my aunt to blame for my love of this perfume. I got a small sampler from Myer and instantly fell in love for good reason. It is intoxicating and rich a beautiful scent that will make everyone including yourself go mad. I cannot afford it unfortunately but will hint at it as a gift till the day I die.

Denu

I love the entire L’Interdit line. With this one I immediately get the same intoxicating tuberose, blended beautifully with the orange blossom and a warm sesame note. This toasted sesame comes through for me straight away, rather than any pepper. I’ve worn this in the day on mild and cooler days and it would definitely work for me as an evening fragrance year round. Longevity and sillage is pretty good - I certainly get whiffs of it when moving around for a few hours after initial spray.

I reach for the original and Nocturnal Jasmine versions of L’Interdit more often, but I absolutely love having this one to use when I’m craving something extra.

Clairexoxo

My favorite of the 3 L'interdit. I mainly smell a smooth vanilla, with a grape-y tuberose, and a nice nuttiness from the sesame. I usually hate black pepper but I barely detect it here, to me the black pepper is not strong and very manageable. I love this fragrance. It is dark and sexy, definitely great for nights out. The longevity on clothing is amazing, lasted on my shirt for days. Good/average sillage. Compared to the Rouge, it is more dark/sexy/youthful as the Rouge is a bit more grown up and charming, but both are amazing options!

yeesa_

I have the original EDP and I love this one more. Its not as strong to my nose which I prefer and I find it very creamy and comforting. For sure replacing the original that I stopped reaching for

snoopy2

I am a fan of this one. I think all the notes are accurate but they all present at the same time (the scent doesn't develop from A to B to C). This is a sultry scent but can be a daily if not over sprayed. It is sweet but not overly sweet, there is vanilla but not too much vanilla. There are enough florals to keep it from going too heavy or gourmand. I am moderately sensitive to patchouli and this is perfect for me but if you are very sensitive to patchouli, it might be too noticeable for you. Silage and longevity is moderate. Overall, very happy with it.

onosowobo

How this fragrance manages to be airy yet dark and mysterious is amazing! I am an over-sprayer and this fragrance never feels too much. It is a people pleaser, you’re gonna get compliments with this one but don’t mistake this for lacking personality or for being generic. It has a uniqueness to it, it’s sexy, luxurious, sophisticated, yet youthful and contemporary. The tuberose gives it that sophisticated femininity and the patchouli brings in the luxurious depth. I wear this for date nights, and it has always complimented the mood and me so beautifully. I know people might think of this as a cold weather scent, I don’t necessarily disagree but I have definitely gotten away with wearing it on warmer evenings, I think one can enjoy this all year round as long as it’s not too hot and sticky. Patchouli, Vanilla and Vetiver are some of my favorite notes ever! So it’s no surprise I love this fragrance. This is a designer fragrance done right.

Sarahlm

Definitely a winter scent, I can see this being too heavy and strong for summer.
If you are Australian then I can tell you this smells a lot like musk stick lollies.

Mona708

I loved this initially, but the more often I wore it, the more it put me in mind of Mon Paris, LVEB, or Black Opium. The sesame’s nuttiness helps switch things up a bit, but ultimately it’s not enough to make me commit to a full bottle.

RH2ME

I blindly bought this perfume based on these reviews below and I regret it. It's such an old lady perfume, and my husband totally agrees, there is nothing sexy about it. I immediately remembered our old lady neighbour, her perfume used to make me dizzy and nauseous just like this perfume, there is no way on earth I could tolerate this perfume or sit in the same room with someone wearing such perfume.

strawberrystar

This fragrance is beautiful. The white florals do remind me of the OG, however it also has the vanilla and the creaminess of D&G The Only One Intense. It is soft, warm, slightly sweet, creamy, and cozy. Really beautiful.

Madyana

This has come one of my all time favorite scents, what can I say about this that hasn't already been said?
Well, maybe I'll talk about how fantastic this tuberose is as an understated daytime scent. A real beauty, deep, dark, mysterious and at the same time also sophisticated and airy, not at all heavy, never brutal or childish. Those scents when the people in the room can't locate where the scent is coming from, and only the one who dares to get too close to you, directly on the skin, gets that delicious, very warm, very intimate sesame, which on warm skin is like a shy reminder of the forbidden passion of the night before... This fragrance is the scent of a mistress, really.

Gyps

Nearly the same as the OG, which I’ve already reviewed.

Edit: I’ve come back to this today and OMG, it’s absolutely divine! It’s a strong love from me. Smells completely different to the first time I sprayed. It’s strong, soft, sensual, musky, creamy, deep, sexy and totally delicious. I totally need a back up bottle in case it gets discontinued 😍

ss1122

Oh my! Love at first spray!! So so sexy and intoxicating. Absolutely stunning fragrance with great longevity and projection on my skin. The tuberose is just beautiful combined with the creamy sesame. Yum! I adore how it changes and I catch different notes throughout the day… it’s magical! Top shelf in my collection for sure

AleshaA

Just perfect for this autumn & winter season so unique one of a kind I would say it’s very suitable for date nights and girly evenings out so seductive something old and something new mix it up tadaaa here come l’interdit Intense
Definitely a forbidden gem no mistake watch how it pulls in the crowd everyone will want a sniff

gorgeous dry down if it wasn’t as dense this would be a perfect signature scent

I’m going for the rouge version I hear it’s very yummy and badass

Update this perfume and the rouge version are so strong and it goes on and on all day
Why is it when you want a perfume to last long it never does and the one your not completely found of stays for hours I’m having that with linterdit sadly

igalmusic

There is nothing Intense about this fragrance...sadly no longevity or projection. Very nice perfume, sesame note makes it creamy. This is not a very unique scent, vanilla and patchouli are the main notes. Bottle is stunning though

madmax78

This is so stunning, so sexy…so yummy! Big love! Dayum I feel good wearing this beauty!

candieskulls

This is one of those perfumes where I appreciate the uniqueness of it and don't hate it at all, but it's just not for me. It's intoxicating in a way that overwhelms me, personally, where I could see myself getting a headache after a while (I've noticed sesame notes do this to me). There's an earthiness to it that really reminds me of Mugler's Angel Muse, and I think it's due to the patchouli and vetiver notes.

This is for the baddest of bitches. Nighttime seductions, leather jackets, black lipstick. Probably practices witchcraft.

oblyth

The initial burst of pepperiness is a bit overpowering for me personally, but after that fades and it dries down I really enjoy the scent. It's more of a night scent, giving off a bold and mysterious vibe.

nandalyne

Sublime! Much better than its predecessor! The opening can be a little bit too peppery for some but it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s all part of the experience. The favorite part for me, though, is the dry down. What an amazing vanilla! One of the best in designer perfumery. I also love the sesame note here. In my opinion, it gives the fragrance a somewhat powdery character that I love! It’s pretty long lasting, but projection leans more towards moderate. L’Interdit Intense is a love for me!

DariaFrancesca74

L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense by Givenchy: enveloping, intense, dark feminine fragrance. The opening notes are an impacting spicy triumph of black pepper, wrapped in a magnetic, mysterious and ultra-feminine tuberose. At the dry down, the enveloping, sweet notes of vanilla emerge on a reassuring boises base. Sweet, floral and spicy fragrance, for lovers of the genre. Sillage and intense duration.

alchemist1976stephanie

I wanted to love this so bad. Unfortunately on me the notes just don’t blend well. It smelled like two different fragrances sprayed on top of each other and the sesame note stuck out more than anything. The dry down of this one reminds me a lot of Bruno Acampora Musc which I have already so I don’t need this one.

Duaham

Soft, elegant sophisticated. Givenchy comes through once again. As someone who's super sensitive to black pepper, I don't pick up on it. the open is very sweet, but not cloying - I get mostly the fresh white florals in the opening. Within 30ish minutes, you're left with a creamy, almondy, smooth and soft vanilla, nutty dream. This is definitely a fall, but mostly winter scent. I bought as a gift for my sister who i'm not visiting for a few more months and I have to fight myself to not hold onto it. Its a gorgeous dreamy scent

SaraZigova

I don't see the sophistication

Fleurdecoco

How does a perfume smell so delicious, so grounded, mysterious and sexy , so creamy and full. Is it the sesame combination that gives it that creamy edge? I definitely get the spice of the black pepper and I'm loving it. This is one of those perfumes that can really turn you on. The wearer is sweet, sensual and seductive. I'd say that this is slightly heavier, creamier and fuller than the original EDP. A forever fan of the interdit line.

Szafirowy czar

Beautiful and sultry evening fragrance 💓

billycorna

Contemplating about buying this for about two months and I finally gave one last decision by going to my nearest Sephora and battled this intense version or the rouge version. Turned out that I liked both but I ended up getting the intense rather than the Uber-famous rouge version.

Reason being is that I have been saving this beast-performing perfume for colder weather, specifically Christmas. Since we don't have winter here so the definition of colder weather is probably 16-17 degrees Celsius at the lowest. This would probably fit in more because the rouge is too spicy for the surrounding noses (but I still liked it) and I would definitely see myself wearing this intense version at November-December (probably January too).

I tested both this fragrance and the rouge, and both performed amazingly well. Specifically saying on my skin. I spritzed two times on each hand and part of neck at 10 a.m. and went places before deciding at 7 p.m. A friend literally can smell this scent (both) strongly at 5 p.m. so yeah that's a sign to actually buy it. after showing both my wrists, it came to a decision that the intense version is the 'it' perfume.

Sasha87

I treasure my Givenchy l'interdit intense bottle so much, it is my best blind buy so far. I usually tend to choose rose based scents. But was looking for something more serious for a black tie wedding. This one fits perfect into that category.

It opens up very peppery on me but not in a bad way, in fact after having this l'interdit intense, i have been searching for other scents with pepper and sesame notes in it.

This makes me feel mysterious, powerful and seductive, while still manages to suit my soft personality. I am not a boss lady kind of woman. I wear Chloe edp or Mancera Roses Greedy during the day, and musky Narciso for bedtime.

I live in a tropical country in Southeast Asia, we have only hot summer and rainy seasons. But i dont find this scent cloying in humid high temp eventhough it has patchouli. Other edp with patchouli smells like pee to me (like Elie Saab or Chanel no 5). I despise patchouli on other people too, so its not only my body chemistry.

This is a very unique scent. I can't wait to get my hands on the L'Interdit Rouge!

bloomerh

Stunning fragrance for the autumn and winter months. I’ve been adding some extra sweetness by layering with a light spray of Kayali Vanilla 28 - creates the perfect warm and sweet fragrance for the colder months without veering into candy sweetness. Definitely recommend!

saffron spice

I believe it is tuberose heavy. Has this three dimensional smell almost fuzzy sense. Slightly sweet, powdery and peppery. Best to wear when its cold ie fall/winter. I'm not gonna lie I don't like it anymore, its to peppery and tuberose heavy and im not into powdery fragrances anymore. If your contemplating between the three the burgundy bottle (Rouge) is the better one however they are both powdery. The rouge is more comparable to hypnotic poison. Rate: 6.5/10

LanaDelSlay

Don’t like this one. Smells a bit like food

sunshine0101

After my mum snatched my L’interdit original EDP during my recent trip, I ended up buying intense as a replacement and wow what a replacement!

Original linterdit is dense and complex, but nothing as compared to intense. I think it’s the sesame note (which I love in its original form too) that is making it earthy and creamy. Love it. Like it better than the original. Very quickly will become my top 10 on the shelf.

laukin911

Was torn between the intense and rouge! Didn't expect to like the intense as much as I do. Warm, cozy, spicy vanilla.

Someone mentioned mixing this with CHGG! they're scent profiles are in the same family yet very different. I think Givenchy has a more prominent vanilla /menthol/fluoride organs blossom vibe and good girl seems like it projects more and has more floral.

( Making note for myself: think I prefer Givenchy over CH )

Both drying down:
Givenchy the sesame comes out with the orange blossom / vanilla / cocoa smell on my skin

CHGG dries more amber jasmin / floral on me

RachelDesiree

THIS. Date Night. After Showers. Work. Where ever. Only spray in heat spots and don’t overspray.
You don’t have to spray on your clothes either that’s how great the smell is. You will also smell it in your clothes the next few days ☺️☺️ . I’m not dissatisfied with givenchy fragrances so far. This is a YUMMY frangrance.

SmellPretty54

Paired this with Very Good Girl for dinner out. The restaurant manager said the scent was wafting over the room in a good way and that people who asking who smelled so good. He asked what I was wearing because he wanted to buy it for his wife.

l_02mx

I’m writing another review as I feel my first comment didn’t actually describe the magic of this scent. To preface, if it gives you an idea of how much I love this perfume, I regularly pull this bottle out just to smell the nozzle residue, not to wear it - just to smell it from the bottle.

I enjoy first and foremost that you can smell every NOTE in this, the pepper opens loudly and you think to yourself this is quite masculine but then those smoother white florals crash in and blend into this almost lactonic mix. It’s rich, sophisticated and elegant smelling. The sesame gives an aromatic kick whilst the pepper is still in the background, I think this gives it a unique hint in comparison to other white florals on the market. The vanilla doesn’t overpower in this and doesn’t lean playdoughy yet it softens the whole composition alongside the patchouli. Although not listed on here, there is a leather note in this, it does give it a rough and earthy quality and is more noticeable in the dry down. I can’t exactly pinpoint when the vetiver comes in but it’s there and grounds this scent. Overall, an impactful spicy white floral. This is strong, long lasting, for a confident woman. One of the best blind buys I’ve bought. In my personal top 5 scents. Bonus points for the all black bottle +++++

KaliDurga

Wow! I'm am loving this. I also love the the original, L'Interdit. This one is only for the brave. Very powerful, heady tuberose combined with another note (to me, it's licorice). This is a stunner and head turner!

TihanaB

This one calls for hugs during cozy winter nights.
If I wore Rouge for an outdoor date then Intense would be for staying home with a loved one.
Vanilla mixed with sesame seeds and orange blossom for sweetness makes it so comforting and calming. I treated myself with a full bottle and can't wait for autumn to enjoy this lovely gem.

I'd recommend this as a winter night fragrance.
During the day, especially if it gets warmer, this fragrance becomes a little bit cloying and it doesn't last long. I suppose that it doesn't work well with heat. Give it a chance when it gets colder. Patchouly and vetiver are not prominent on my skin which, for me, is a good thing.

Longevity is around 8 hours with a moderate sillage.

Ariadne'sTreasure

Lovely lovely perfume- wanted this one over the original for a longer lasting scent and the tuberose. Great price as well I think for what it is. Beautiful longtime favorite or a first step into perfume.

BallsDeepFormula

I'm a dude and for the love of God I'm gonna have SMEX with the bottle

A Fragrant Life

A vanilla and orange blossom bomb with a touch of nuttiness. Smooth, sweet and creamy. Fabulous projection and longevity. Big compliment getter.

wondervalley666

Blind bought - it's very nice! It isn't the most unique stand-out scent, but that may be because I'm a frag addict and own a few similar scents. I'd say it has some notes that remind me of Black Opium, but even more so it reminds me of Dolce & Gabbana's Only One Intense. Except where D&GOOI is more heavy, syrupy, and unfortunately fades almost shockingly fast, this is a lot easier to wear, less syrupy, lighter, fresher, a bit nutty from the sesame, and performs much better and lasts longer. As The Only One Intense and L'Interdit Intense are around the same price point, I think I will be switching to this once I finish my D&G bottles. I must say, I never thought about Givenchy perfumes in the past. I was always a big fan of their fashion, but never heard much buzz about their fragrances. I've now been quite happy with every scent I sampled and ended up buying at least 1 FB of each I've tried. They aren't the strongest or most unique scents, but they perform better than a lot of other designer scents and always have such lovely notes & blends that come off way better, less harsh & synthetic than others. Some of the best quality for designer scents on the market, IMO.

I'm addictively sniffing my wrist trying to get more L'Interdit! I usually HATE patchouli & can't do it, but it's faint here, like it is in Black Opium, and I can't really sense it. It blends with the sesame and pepper notes to give it a gentle spice, so you don't end up smelling like a dirty hippy musky patchouli bomb. The tuberose is a bit more faint than I'd prefer, the vanilla is strong which mixed with the spices and nuts I think gives it the Black Opium vibes. Vetiver doesn't stand out very strong either, which was another note that make me worried as vetiver comes off very different to my nose in almost every different fragrance I sample, and occasionally seems too masculine. I'd say this is a feminine scent with that classic perfumy gourmand feel. Very lovely. I'm a big fan.

This will last for a week or longer on your clothing! I only wore a shirt for 2 hours after my shower last week, and today I was picking through my clothes, and could smell the shirt I sprayed this on from over a foot away! I upped my vote to "eternal" for longevity for this reason. This definitely fades faster on skin, but I'm pretty sure it lasts all day. If I apply before bed, I wake up smelling like this for hours the next morning.

AmBo

I don't mind a banger, and I enjoy tuberose, but there's something in this one that is just "too much" - is it the sesame? It's creamy, it lasts, and it's sexy, but I feel self-conscious when wearing it, which cancels out the sexy feel of the fragrance. Thinking of selling.

Kuty22

I just received my order
This is one is amazing ❤️
I'm in love
I also received a sample of the Rouge, too spicy for my liking and somehow it reminds me a man's 'sweet' perfume
So so good

ellacsarno

It's a beautiful scent! But I disagree with the notes, does nobody else smell the really strong green or oolong tea opening notes?

Kuty22

I went to sephora yesterday to try Dolce&Gabbana the only one intense and the tester was empty, out curiosity I tried this one and oh dear Lord I'm in 😍
I also tried the Rouge and didn't like it at all, super spicy - not my vibe
I'm waiting for my bottle
Damn this one is a must have

biomafreddo

As I always travel light and my perfumes are all 50/100ml, I always bring those sample testers that they give you at the stores whenever I go on vacation.

When I sprayed it for the first time, last summer, I thought "OH. LORD IT'S STRONG", so I had to get used to it. But since my first night out I've always gotten soooo many compliments (and still do because now L'Interdit Intense has become my signature scent).

The longevity is ETERNAL. My ex told me that after I'd spend a night at her place, she could smell it on the pillow for DAYS. And same goes with clothes. And the sillage, you guessed it: AMAZING. With "just" 3 sprays (I usually do from 5 to 10 of other fragrances lol) you leave a trace behind you. For example: my therapist complimented me for my perfume while sitting 3m/10feet away from me and while wearing an FFP2 mask!!!!

Kalimi

I absolutely adore this--very intense and long lasting---its a looove

Rozalina

The sesame note in L’Interdit Intense is EVERYTHING! It turns this fragrance into a nutty, creamy almost gourmand tuberose. This is a tuberose for tuberose lovers AND tuberose skeptics :) i would say this has moderate longevity.

Princessy

It's a lovely vanilla tuberose. I love to rock this one on the colder days for sure. I'm always getting complimented when I'm wearing this beautiful fragrance. The sillage is great and the longevity is really good (+6-7hrs).

My favorite flanker out of the L'interdit line, as it's the ticker, creamier and stronger out of the 3. Here's my ranking.
1. L'interdit Intense : deep and creamy tuberose. The tuberose version of Hypnotic Poison as it's sexy and intoxicated
2. L'interdit rouge : love the spicy twist to it, but lighter on the tuberose
3. L'interdit eau de toilette: enjoyable but too light for my liking

errrllyn

tried this in a shop and wow i really liked it. normally i hate tuberose but this wasn’t gross or sickly sweet at all, very pleasant white floral

und3rstanding

Before smelling this I thought I hated tuberose, the first tuberose perfume I smelled was Michael Kors and it gave me a maassssive headache.
This is smooth creamy the tuberose smells like bubblegum but with the creaminess it`s like a bubblegum ice-cream.
Amazing! Happy I blind bought it :)

Tinabill

Alluring rounded tuberose.
I don’t get black pepper on the initial spray but rather a transient inky blackberry note (probably a mind trick, because I get nothing else black or dark from this perfume). In L’II the tuberose is less bright and projecting than in the EDP, but it is also more rounded and sweetened by some extra vanilla. It also has more nutty creaminess (probably the sesame) but it is not a dark juice by any means.
L’II is more sensual and alluring and is thus more suitable for nighttime (so maybe it’s colored black in that sense) but the juice itself has no dark qualities. Lovely 💕

ms.ameerah

My preference:
1st place: L'Interdit intense
2nd place: L'Interdit rouge
3rd place: L'Interdit original

nakurp

i like it way better than the original. the initial sprays somehow reminded me to the original L'interdit but it went away and left this soft, vanilla and flowery scent that kinda faint and close to the skin.

Invisibeau

Heavy tuberose with neroli lingering after. The vanilla is pronounced after the drydown but the white floral never dissipates, instead blooms further with the addition of sesame. It is slightly nutty as a result and may be too warm in hotter seasons. It stays for about 5 to 6 hours on my clothes and the dry down is absolutely heavenly. Only con is it gave me a headache in enclosed spaces so I'd wear this as a going out scent only.

silthrill

I have this one and the EDP. I don’t know that I would have called this one “Intense”, because it’s not really intense actually it sits very close to the skin and does not project as well as the EDP. It has a fresh opening with the orange blossom and black pepper. The black pepper goes away quickly, the orange blossom tames, and the vanilla comes out. It settles to be mainly vanilla-floral, with a fresh component of orange blossom and a little nutty component that is the sesame. This is a non-offensive fragrance, easy and safe for work. I can also see this being a good date night fragrance (if oversprayed and reapplied because it’s quite light and doesn't last long).

Efragrantica

This is just gorgeous! I was tossing up between getting this or the original L'interdit, mind you the original is just as stunning but I chose the intense version as the weeks are getting colder here in Melbourne, and I thought this would be a perfect cold day time scent as well as a sexy night time fragrance. I have nothing like it in my collection, it's quite unique. I love orange blossom and vanilla, all the notes combined is really just gorgeous.

Aland2020

Had this one on the radar since it came out for two reasons:
1) I love almost every Givenchy fragrance I've tried
2) Sesame note- I have L'Ange Noir and am obsessed with it, so I figured this might be a little similar given they're by the same house.

UNFORTUNATELY, I must admit this failed to meet my expectations. I get no sesame note. I don't even get the vanilla that's so highly rated. All I get with this fragrance is a shrill orange blossom note. Orange Blossom is a very finicky beast for me, most times it takes over any composition it's in and becomes nauseating (cough, Elie Saab fragrances). This time was no different.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news because I wanted this to be a love so bad. I'm forever grateful to the person who sent me a sample and also equally thankful I didn't blind buy this every time I saw a discounted bottle, I would have been sorely disappointed. I had to leave this negative review as a warning to all the many people who haven't tried this yet and want to because they're intrigued by the notes list. Maybe your skin chemistry doesn't amplify orange blossom notes the way mine does, but I also get nothing of interest whatsoever with this scent. Please sample first, and don't have your hopes up. Givenchy has many interesting and well done fragrance releases. This, for me, was not one of them.

Stoicchild

Another biker chic fragrance! This reminds me of Chanel Coco Noir, though they're both completely different they both give you the same vibe. It's dark, sexy and alluring, a boss lady scent. I like this one out of the entire L'Interdit collection. I'm not a huge fan of Chanel or Givenchy, but I like these intense versions of both perfume lines. If my perfume doesn't stand out from the rest I don't even consider it. Both of these scents gained my respect.

Shalize

Sexy nighttime fragrance
Creamy , vanilla while keeping the same DNA as the original
Beautiful

TunyaPe

Apologies if this sounds gross.
The intense flanker smells like a teen girl with her hair left unwashed very greasy for a few weeks then she tries to mask the smelly hair with her bubblegum, vanilla body spray. I do not know what people find sexy about it.

The Intense still carries the original’s DNA with more orange blossom and vanilla but without that powerful Ambroxan, so it does not project as much. I even find the original to be too bubbly and juvenile, so this goes the same direction.

If I smelled this on others, I would be concerned about their hygiene, especially with the fact that this stays quite close to the skin that I could misinterpret as body/hair odour.
Also, as an Asian growing up with ‘real, pungent’ sesame oil as a food ingredient, it is not ideal for me to have that oily cooking smell in my fragrance.

soumayaela

From the intiere line, the intense is the hardest to wear
It's complicated, between the sesame, the vanilla, the tuberose, the patchouli and the vetiver, sometimes it can get nauseating!
But i still love it, it smells "niche" and weird (in a good way), smoky sweet and creamy

sharky_shosho

Sweet creamy vanillic tubarose. The sesame note in here adds depth to this gorgeous scent. It has the same scent profile as the OG but this one is more balanced to my nose. A full bottle worthy indeed. Love love love ❤️

Ninalovesclassy

I am surprised that everyone loves this - I tried it on my wrist and it smelled for like hour and a half and thats it. Its sexy, but to me the dry down is very similar to Decadence by Marc Jacobs which I love and I am very sad its discontinued (I guess the vetiver note). This is sexy and sweet - smells like flowers in chocolate fondue. I am not gonna buy it - to me it is ridiculously overhyped.

2whit2quit

My newest infatuation! I'm in full agreeance with my fellow positive reviewers - absolutely signature fragrance worthy. I’ve been on a heavy tuberose kick, so I recently acquired the newest L’Interdit EDP and L’Interdit Rouge, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the intense version. I had to have it! L'Interdit Intense is gorgeous! A complete joyride through the pyramid of notes. The black pepper on top definitely wakes up your senses. Tuberose is then warmed by sesame and combined with orange blossom to create a delicious cream fantasy, but it never becomes sticky or too sweet. To me, the dry down is just ridiculous! It’s sexy as hell! It lasts a very long time on my skin, which is nice because usually musk is the only thing I can get to stick around for longer than a few hours.

sydneycmck

Wow. I’ve never been “intoxicated” by a fragrance until I met this. To start, the initial spray is putrid and horrible. It’s incredibly sharp, but it still maintains the artificial grape smell; the perfume begins to round out after 10 minutes or so, and it’s SEXY. It’s so unique and unisex. Luckily for me, this pulls more gourmand. It smells like a creamy, sexy, mature cabbage patch kid smell; if i dig my nose deep enough into my skin after about 2 hours, I can still get some sort of grape licorice. Oddly enough, when I first sampled I hated it. I kept spraying, and it eventually just pulled me in and never let go. If you want to get the most out of this perfume, spray spray spray!!! Everywhere! I would say it smells much better on skin than anything else. Longevity is ridiculously good, getting around 16+ hrs on clothes and about 12+ on clean and moisturized skin. Projection is either intimate or moderate depending on how much you like to spray.

Charrise

This is my new signature fragrance. It's perfection. Seductive, warm, bold but not brash. Balanced. I'm so happy I could cry. It smells subtly smoky and delicious. So smooth. Definitely a sex nighttime mood. This is a man slayer!

kikipoo

This one had my attention after the first spray. A very velvety and sensual aroma that cannot be denied. It may strong for some however it's perfect for me. Perfect for date nights and evening events. Careful though. You may notice people hanging around you extra close after one spray lol.

Dinaina

This to me smells exactly like grape shisha. It is very strong though I wouldn’t recommend over spraying this one, I sprayed 3 sprays and ended up with a headache. The lasting power is enormous, I sprayed my arm before going to bed and the next morning I could still smell it strong. I really like it but wouldn’t recommend as a blind buy. This release is a very successful one in my opinion.

Edit: I layered this with montale Vanille Absolu and let me tell you, it’s absolutely gorgeous 😍

The re-released version of L'Interdit Eau de Parfum didn't appeal to me much when it was first released in 2018. I have a soft spot for the original L'Interdit (worn by Audrey Hepburn), which was a stunning fruity aldehyde with a hint of spicy white florals. Although dated, the original vintage was far nicer than the saccharine-sweet reimagining that currently graces the shelves at most department stores. L'Interdit has spanned many flankers since its release and has been quite popular with female consumers. I was most intrigued by this Intense flanker in its gothic-black style bottle, and I had hoped for a richer, more night-time appropriate version that improved upon its predecessor.

The opening of L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense is heavy on the sweetness and to my nose smells somewhat reminiscent of raspberry cough syrup. The pepper is the driving force throughout much of this composition and is quite sharp and unpleasant in the initial stages. The drydown is thankfully less intense, with a blend of creamy white florals and a smooth vanilla accord that smells almost almondy on the skin. There is also a musky patchouli note that tones down much of this fragrance's sweetness towards the base.

The longevity and scent performance definitely lives up to the 'intense' title, and many will be pleased by how well L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense wears on the skin. There aren't many peppery-vanilla fragrances in the designer market, and for some, this fragrance will appeal as a unique and sensual aroma. In the niche market, however, there are many pepper, white floral and vanilla fragrances that far surpass this scent and wear much smoother. I personally prefer Bois 1920's Notturno Fiorentino.

Cathped

Reminds much of the original, but more almondy. Also a strong liqorice/coffe aroma.

l_02mx

My first impression of this I was very iffy of this, but it’s became one of my absolute favourites. The sesame note has grown on me and this perfume is simply gorgeous. The sesame, tuberose and vanilla are definitely the strongest notes in here. Longevity is great 12+ hours on my skin and lots of projection. I’ll probably buy the 80ml it’s seriously so beautiful! I’m so so glad I gave this one a chance to grow on me.

YenSung

Wow wee boy this is addictive, perfection! Not too sweet, not too offensive but very present, ultra sexy and although I'm not a big fan of categorising perfumes by gender this one does scream femininity, makes me want to wear the sexiest lingerie, with a tight dress and whisper something dirty in his ear.. I am in love with this scent I think I might have to buy another bottle very soon

Remmel

In comparison to the original, L'Interdit Intense is less sweet and more floral. Of course, it does share the same base, so it still is fruity and sweet, but it seems heavier in a way. I'm not sure I get the black pepper, but the sesame is definitely pretty strong, giving it a more subtle, nutty undertone than an airy, fruity one. I do prefer the original Eau de Parfum version, though. While I haven't tried anything that smells like this - the sesame is unique, in my experience - there are better options for women who want to go for this vibe of strong and sexy. Not that this is limited to just women, this could very easily lean masculine on the right person.

Jucmorgo

Grape juice, fine wine

Zana1970

Ohhh my God, love at first sniff, super longlasting on me and projected also like the OG on me..
Thinking they smell the same, only 1 note diffirent, that I did not needed to smell, this time I told myself let me smell, boy what was I wrong, this is a sexie, sultry perfume, right up my alley..the bourgondie bottle I did't like..this I need to have! But not for now...if I get it as a gift, I would be in heaven! ☺

Bojan D.

Longevity is awesome! Very unisex.

cdarrach

I am deeply confused by the listed notes and most reviews because I’m getting mostly grape juice/candy?

Cherry Bloom

I don't like the original so I can't say I'm disappointed in this one as it is exactly what I expected. The original+black pepper. Nothing sexy or playful or seductive. Not even dark in a misterious way. Just strong sweet tuberose amd pepper. It's just gothic. Like a young girl with black lipstick and loose black tshirt trying to be attractive but not succeeding. Nothing feminine about this one. Actually, it would bring a hint of misteriousness to guy. Yes, I would prefer this on a guy. That kind of guy who doesn t care too much of himself but he's sexy the way he is.

Thank God they came up with L'Interdit Rouge. They succeeded to give strong personality to this fainted line of boring sweet strong tuberose. That one..well, that one is sexiness in a bottle, fluid seductiveness, gorgeous strong femininty. Hey, sexy, independent girls who love life and don't give a crap about what others think, who know you are the best, leave this boring "intense" of boredom and try that one. Yummy yummy..you'll thank me later

Cassiano

Once again, information differs about the composition: some list orange blossoms and tuberose in the center, as well as a leather note at the base. I still prefer to respect the brand's official website, which lists orange blossom and tuberose notes at the top; Notes of patchouli and vetiver, now in the center; While the base brings vanilla from Madagascar and roasted black sesame absolute.

It is worth mentioning that one of the processes used was the cold extraction of the beans present in the vanilla pod, resulting in a product with less sweet facets and, consequently, warmer and ambery. The leather accord is probably the result of a note of labdanum or birch dissolved in vanilla, although not listed.

Likewise, roasted sesame brought facets of hazelnut and spicy cereal. Hence, the spicy aspect of the fragrance, which is considered floral-amber, but on my skin behaves like a floral-spicy. And first of all, here's a valuable tip: L'Interdit Intense is quite shareable, especially if you don't separate fragrances by genre when shopping.

Unlike the Eau de Parfum version, L'Interdit Intense touches the skin in a more restrained way. This time, the tuberose is a little more evident and there is a creamier tone from the start. Another important point is that the fruity smell, which for some people was a negative point, does not exist here.

L'Interdit Intense does not bring its very evident white floral bouquet, but an ambery fragrance, full of sensuality and with a more transgressive and, clearly, more nocturnal aspect. Nobody can complain that the floral side is very feminine, as this creation is more obscure and the drying focuses more on vanilla than on the flowers.
Occasionally, you can feel a slightly salty nuance, but nothing to worry about. Simply put, L'Interdit Intense is basically a light tuberose scent, with earthy patchouli and very evident vanilla. The cool thing about this story is that the floral DNA is here, but the personality is different.

In terms of performance, L'Interdit Intense projects less than the Eau de Parfum version but also sticks to the skin for hours. And those who know the beauty of the Ange or Démon family can also feel some kind of kinship. And it exists, in a way.

L'Interdit Intense is a perfume with a mysterious, sensual, cozy fragrance and, in my opinion, easy to please, even more so nowadays, with so many people ready to complain about everything and who only praise if they are being paid. For my part, the compliment is really spontaneous!

LAboy scent expert

I’m a man and dig this ,, is a more sweet deep dark version of “ Joop homme wild ” purple bottle , marketed for men, However gyvenchy is better blended and better performance . Don’t regret my purchase

baddieb

This is another blind buy for me that was recommended on TikTok. It took forever to get to me so while I was waiting for it to arrive, I went to my local department store and had a chance to smell it against the original L'Interdit and L'Interdit Rouge. On me, it's a very heady, dense, sexy fragrance; very creamy from the tuberose but like other reviews said, less bubblegummy than the original. I think the sesame and the vanilla lend the tuberose its creaminess, there's a density to it that makes it totally intoxicating. It's such a sexy, warm, and cozy fragrance. This has incredible projection and longevity, be forewarned (could still smell it on my skin after a shower). Dying to wear this on a night out!

Edit:
This performs incredibly. I did 5 sprays (which would be a lot considering the projection/sillage of this fragrance) and it created the most amazing scent trail and scent bubble that lasted me the whole night. It seemed to get better throughout the night too; mind you it was cold out and idk how it'll behave in warmer weather but it's divine. No bubblegum/grape soda vibes here, just beautiful sweet dense tuberose. A true beauty. I will forever be enamoured.

violeteme

Such an underrated perfume, one of the better tuberose and vanilla compositions. It begins with rich, creamy tuberose with vanilla and a hint of sesame, later I get more orange blossom and faint patchouli, comparing this with the original - it is definitely more intense, sweeter, more opaque. I like the beginning more. It seems more like an autumn/winter and nighttime perfume, but sometimes summer heat also makes such perfumes shine. Beautiful scent and if I preferred tuberose and vanilla blends, I could definitely see myself owning this, it is opulent, rich, sillage and longevity surpass some strong niche perfumes. +

granny54

I love this, but only after the sesame calms down and blends with the vanilla and tuberose. This takes about 1/2 hour. After that it is a gorgeous blend that lasts all day on me with just two or three sprays.

wookiesen

I love this parfume, but it's not special. At least not on me, I expected something *more* from this but alas it smells just like Born in Roma by Valentino (pink bottle) but without any powdery notes.

It's a cozy and warm scent that turns into a more vanilla gourmand smell on me with a hint of jasmine and patchouli.

I'd give it a 7/10, it's delicious but nothing extraordinary or different.

mariakok

Was going for this but ended up getting the Rouge. I couldn’t smell any notes! Tested Rouge, EDP, and intense and it was like intense was odorless to me

Neckromancer

Interesting, this is not what I expected. While the original version smells like cherry lip gloss, bubblegum, vetiver, and patchouli, this one smells like red fruit punch, vetiver, and patchouli. I was expecting something nutty, but I'm not getting that at all. Sesame? Sesame tends to be super potent, but I don't smell it. This is generally fresher than the original. I thought this would be more vanilla forward, basically a nutty vanilla tuberose scent. But I'm getting fruitiness.

pat.snickerdoodles

Finally I own them yesterday. I am not big fan of Givenchy perfumes, but I fell in love with this. Very long lasting, creamy and vanillary; which I preferred to have this one on my perfume shelves.

Hones talk, they smell like Ange Ou Demon by Givenchy and Modern Muse by Estee Lauder, but in creamy, modern, elegant and sweet way. Which is adorable and divine! If you guys looking for elegant scent, this is the one you can give it to go!

Suitable for all occasions. Blind buy safe. I give 10/10 and highly recommended.

Tina905

Oh my goodness… givenchy does not get the praise they deserve for the fragrances they create. I personally find them more unique and appealing to me in the designer perfume world. Obsessed with the releases for linterdit intense and rouge… the lasting power of the intense specifically is amazing… dark, strong, sexy, unique, although still holding onto the DNA of the OG. Yum!

KyalineS

Smells like the Valentino Born in Roma (the pink one), one of my favorite of all time 😍
Very seductive and leaves a good and big sillage ✨

bashoori

Oh wow I love this one! I can’t stop smelling my wrist lol. I love the opening! It’s a bubblegumy Tubrose and I’m obsessed!! I thank the Sephora lady since she introduced me to it, otherwise I would never have discovered it. I just wish it lasted longer on my skin

amelia.g

If you almost liked L'Interdit EDP but found it too loud and the tuberose too prominent, you might want to try this one instead. To my nose, it's a more contained (I would even say muted) version of L'Interdit, without the sprawling citrus and super bubblegummy opening that might make it a tough sell for some, a much quieter floral heart and a somewhat "darker" drydown.

The opening is rather play-doh ish on my skin, and I can't smell black pepper at all; after about five minutes, that awkward smell goes away and a quiet tuberose-orange blossom pairing starts to set in, underlined by a very softly rendered vanilla and vetiver combo. I do get a nutty feel every once in a while, but its hardly what I'd call gourmand.

Overall it's much less sweet than the original, and definitely unisex in my opinion. I do find it quite discreet, as it is pretty much a skin scent after the first ten minutes, but it has good staying power (around 8 hrs on my skin).

I think L'Interdit EDP is one of the most interesting modern designer fragrances on the market, and this one really pales in comparison. It's quite tame for something that claims the use of the word "intense", but it's undoubtedly well done.

ibralemmi

I love it when first sprayed. I love it after too. It's sweet but in a very comforting way. I get headaches with perfumes constantly, with this? no. For me personally this is not a sexy sweet, just as I said comforting warm sweet.
The next day though... or maybe after it has SETTLED settled, I get too much sesame? or no I dont know like something boiled... yes. Idk u know when u boil rice or some mild vegetable or something? Still resembles the initial spray but that boiled smth smell comes through... maybe its just me though.
like the original doesnt have that. the original is less warm and comfy i guess, sweeter maybe, maybe even sexier. I still love it though, very comfy. Will try out in spring breeze

Claire Quarantina

I'll keep this simple if you love Karma by lush then this is the one for you!! The patchouli comes through nice and strong, a very concentrated fragrance with a comforting warm dry down. This will be going on my Christmas list for sure.

Perfumedsecrets

Absolutely nothing like JM Myrrh and Tonka. I get a lot of the original big sweet tuberose with some spice, toasted sesame, and vetiver.

Hallon

This is so good in the top and middle notes, but unfortunately I am not a patchouli fan so after 15 minutes it is not a favourite. However it is a bit addicting.

Alien and Black Opium with a bit soil from the patchouli. Quite toned down which I consider a plus since it makes it versatile for both day and evening.

MissIvy

Black leather, smoky vanilla and a delectable sweet grape-ish tuberose. I dug into the reviews below a ways, and nobody has mentioned leather once. I find that so strange as it is the first thing I picked up on and it is how Givenchy describes the scent. This conjours a imagine of a real fem fatal woman wearing a black leather moto jacket, and deep red lipstick surrounded by a garden of tuberose. She's sucking on a grape jolly rancher and she just put out a cigarette. I went to the counter to buy the new Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum, (leather and faint candied violets it is ever so dreamy and worlds more wearable than the original imo) Anyway, I never paid this L'Interdit frag much notice as I haven't been a fan of any of the previous L'Interdit. Not the 1954 version made for Audrey Hepburn, nor any of the reformulations since. But the girl at the counter sprayed it on a card for me and Tom Ford was all but forgotten. I walked away with two 80ml bottles wondering how I would bring myself to wear any of my other 100+ bottles in my fragrance wardrobe ever again. Move over Nirvana Bourbon, a new girl is in town and she is signature scent worthy. I also love L'Interdit Rouge flanker and have placed a online order for it too. Rouge replaces the leather in the Intense with more pepper, a spicy ginger, heavier orange blossom and again a lovely jammy tuberose. Both are absolutely f#@king delightful, but the Intense will forever have my heart. At the end of the day she is just so much more of a badass than Rouge.

Astar88

Intoxicating and dark, lots of vanilla, tuberose and sesame, blended so perfectly. Absolutely love this through autumn and winter, very comforting and sexy.

reshmamoni100

This is good! But not too long lasting on my skin.. I don’t know why :’(

ms.moniczka

I can't believe that this fragrance smells exactly like Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka. First 30 seconds are different. You can detect tuberose, but afterwards it's pure Myrrh & Tonka. Why :'(? I had big expectations for this fragrance and all I got is same fragrance I already have in my collection.

Lalunalynn

The top of this frag is so gorgeous, I wish it stayed for a lot longer but 10 min's and its into the middle. Tuberose hits hard. I don't normally like tuberose but weirdly I like this frag. The mix of notes makes it tolerable for me. The dry down reminds me of Vanille De Zanzibar Boucheron. Longevity isn't great on me, its a skin scent after 3 hours. It's just a like right now, but If I were to wear this it would be at night in the autumn /winter.

hsiangchi.huang

Can't tell the difference between this black bottle and the red one (I've tried smelling them side-by-side a million times). Both are very delightful - thick bouquet of white florals sweetened by creamy vanilla. It's predominately tuberose + vanilla, and I don't get the other notes listed above.

There are a lot of sweet white floral fragrances on the market, but this one is a cult favourite for a reason. It's a 8.5/10 for me.

mevans

I find this intense version quite unusual. It's white floral but I'm guessing that sesame note is what's giving it such a milky quality. It's really unique and beautiful. My husband liked it on me too and that's never a bad thing!

ravenhera7

Love at first sniff. It’s warm and sensual without being overpowering or vulgar. A fragrance that I can imagine you can wear all fall/winter on any occasion

amandavictoriag

This smells a lot like Girl of Now, surprised barely anyone mentioning that. It's beautiful!

Edit: So yes, this smells a lot like Girl of Now, but I actually prefer Girl of Now, simply because this didn't last long on my skin. It is unique & beautiful, but not enough to buy a bottle unfortunately in my opinion.

If a tuberose flower and an orange blossom flower had a bebe, then said bebe grew up rich, sweet and kind, then as a teen decided to go through a rebellious phase, she now dyes her hair black, puts on dark red lipstick, smokes and says shit a lot. This is what she would smell like.

I'm not a hater of the perfume, it does have a sophistication about it, but it also has a smokey, modern darkness to it. The sesame note really brings a new element to my nose! It gives it a powdery element, but not a vintage, mature, powdery-powder smell, more like a new era/age of a buttery-powder smell. It's a modern powder I predict will be a trend soon.
It's interesting and unique but not for me, at least for now anyways.

I already have and love the original L'interdit and finally got to try this Intense version. I have to say I could smell very little difference between the two and if you have one you really don't need the other. I didn't get any of the sesame note, which should be something that really makes this different. The only difference I'd note, would be that this one is a little 'smoother' in the blend, with the grape-like notes mellowed just a little bit (but still very present) and the florals are a touch creamier in quality. Still a sillage/longevity monster like the original - one or two sprays lasts all day.

I blind bought this and L'Interdit Rouge. I've been testing them both side by side, trying to decide which is my "keeper." At first I would've said Rouge, but after living with it for a bit, there's something I don't really like in the drydown. Too much patchouli maybe? The top and mid notes are so gorgeous, though.

Now, for EDP Intense, I didn't think I'd love it as much as I do. I was put off by the sesame in the listed notes, afraid it would make me smell like sesame oil, but that isn't the case. The sesame is there, adding an earthiness to the fragrance, but it's so well blended it doesn't stick out. This is creamy and beautiful. Orange blossom and vanilla are the stars of the show, with the L'interdit signature grapey tuberose as supporting character. I love it.

Intense and Rouge smell very similar, but with Rouge being sweeter and pretty spicy. Also, Rouge has INSANE projection and lasting power. Intense's performance is pretty standard for an EDP. I find Intense to be more wearable overall.

oh, I guess I fell in love :) I ordered samples of L'Interdit EDT, EDP, Intense and Milessime, and wow, all of them are so nice! However, Intense version has that kind of complexity I was looking for :) I was really worried, that this line will not be for me after tuberose in Armani My way, but this is so different! I have enjoyed for such a long time my beloved LVEB L'éclat, but olfactory fatigue force me to look for something special again, and here we go! I think that I found it, something that I will want to wear for more than three days in a row :) So glad, I find this treasure at the beggining of fall so I will have a loooot of time to enjoy it :) hopefully, I (and others :D) will be able to enjoy it during the day as well :)
I was looking for a night parfume for a long time (but I didnt mind wearing my day perfume at night and guess I will wear that one during the day cause I cant help myself :D) and this has to be it! How I crave for this one! Is it sensual patchouli or my sweet vanilla? Really dont know but gimme more of it! :D Fresh orange blossom or creamy sesame? Sharp vetiver or warming tuberose? Oh, I smell all of them, so perfectly blended, that it will not become one cloud of "nothing" but complex that changes! Will I be an angel, you are glad you met? Or a devil you wish you would met sooner? :D Don´t know, but woman wearing this perfume will show you what intense look like! Intense cold or intense heat? Well it depends on you and maybe...what I will sniff at the second I met you :D
Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion...thanks I think that you did it again, and created my another love! :) If I will need another love, I know now, that you know what I was looking for without knowing it myself :)

Smell of this one is ADDICTIVE!!
It’s unique, sexy and mature definitely deserves the title of intense! Black pepper note is quite potent but it makes this fragrance interesting. Also tuberose and sesame combination is beyond!! It was a love at first sight for me!
