Rеve d'Infini by Lalique is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Rеve d'Infini was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Richard Ibanez. Top notes are Litchi, White Rose and Bergamot; middle notes are Freesia, Peach, Rose, Jasmine and Cedar; base notes are Musk, Vanilla and Sandalwood.

The new fragrance from Lalique, Reve d’Infini, is launched in early 2016 as a tribute to femininity and elegance, as well as to the eternal inspiration of the famous glass and jewelry designer Rene Lalique.

The crystal floral composition of this fragrance begins with fresh notes of bergamot, juicy litchi pulp and an absolute of white roses. The combination of jasmine, rose, fruity nectar and freesia, and the duo of peach and cedar, form the heart of the perfume. Vanilla, musk and sandalwood leave their velvety mark on the base. The creation is signed by perfumer Richard Ibanez.

The bottle, in Art Deco style, and the box colored in soft pink are decorated with the Ardente motif, a symbol of eternity. The fragrance is available as 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

The description on their website sounds absolutely lovely. "Pure, shimmering Bergamot lights up the tangy flesh of a Rose-scented Lychee. Freesia, whose fragrance blends the nectar of fruit with the headiness of Jasmine, introduces the floral heart of RÊVE D'INFINI. An elegant Rose Absolute, softened by a satiny, freshly picked Peach, and bolstered by forceful Cedarwood. A silky dry-down of Vanilla, Musks and Sandalwood prolongs this subtle harmony of accords."

This is my nth try with Lalique but the House doesn't seem like a good fit. Just two hours into wearing it, I had to scrub it entirely. Interestingly (and unfortunately), rinsing with warm water appeared to trigger the release of fragrance molecules, potentially due to increased volatility (resulted in a notable surge in sillage that dissipated ~30 seconds into the wash). Very cool chemical reaction I don't completely understand but will research.

The Laliques I do have will get another chance come Autumn though I don't imagine my experience will alter. By the descriptions, I was expecting something more refined... Instead, Rêve D'Infini is overly synthetic and leans soapy-musky-floral-sweet (I would not call this fruity as I didn't personally pick up the Bergamot, Lychee or Peach (notes I generally enjoy) - just a vague cloying sweetness. I also enjoy and seek out florals, especially rose, but the florals fall into the same misstep as the other notes. Every note I expected to appreciate (or at least notice) was muted by this synthetic muddied quality.

It is not a fragrance I would recommend. SAMPLE FIRST.

Very soft, powdery and elegant. Could feel a bit peach and rose at the same time with powdery vibes. One officer stopped me and asked what I was wearing today about this perfume some years ago at the London tube! Amazed to hear that.

this perfume could be one of my favorites, if not the peach note making it too sweet and spoiling it overall (even bergamot cannot break the sweetness). If it had more "light" and citrusy top notes instead of the peach- it would have been far better for me. But it is not bad.

peacedeli

Reminds me of Paco Rabanne's Fame. Nice light floral that isn't too juvenile yet not too powdery or old-ladyesque either. Don't get any of the base notes though. 6.5/10.

Hanan bazaza

Smells like fruits cocktail..sweet soft elegant and feminine with low sillage and moderate longetivity ..suitible for any occasion..
7.5/10

Gorgeous powdery pink musky

This was one of my blind buys. A rather pleasant one, it turned out. .
It's a fruity and powdery scent that opens fresh with litchi, peach and rose. Later the musky and powdery notes come out, and for some reason I associate the dry down with sun lotion. Quite warm and summery.
The downsides to the fragrance are that it's a tad bit generic, perhaps. Nothing super memorable and extra. However, sometimes that's exactly what I need. Something uncomplicated and nice smelling. It also doesn't last very long, so when I use it, I tend to keep it in my purse and spray during the day.
All in all, considering the price, this was a nice find, and I enjoy it as an everyday scent.

I don’t know if it’s the peach or the litchi clinging to my skin, but it is turning me right off… it was rosy when I sprayed it on paper, but on me it just becomes Very Good Girl, not my vibe at all 😒

chlorodream

Very safe and pretty powdery fruity floral. Not my cup of tea but certainly an embodiment of the word “pretty”.

Nounou9

I hated this one, very sweet in a cheap way. A headache giving perfume.

Panningformemories

Lalique perfumes definitely take time to grow on you. You may not appreciate it at first but years later, it is all that you can think about. I have gotten mature enough to appreciate the notes. I absolutely love Rêve d' Infini.
Give it a chance.

Cherry_Darling

90% musk, barely any lychee or rose, or anything else, and indeed quite soft and polite. That said I really like it. I've been flirting with musky scents for a year now, never taking the plunge in any one of them just yet for a full bottle. It's such an elusive note to me, really depends on the day, the time of the month, the notes it combines, but overall I tend to like them all. This one today is fresh, soft, subtly sweet, slightly gourmand, marshmallow, modern make up. Very moorish, not super bomb or long lasting but with musks this isn't a bad thing, sometimes it's all about those hormonal skin notes that linger with the remains of the perfume. Definitely worth trying, using, but buying a full bottle...not sure yet! So many more musks to try.

nmassie

It's "nice", I guess. A little sharp, very sweet and a bit powdery, and can make me sick under the wrong circumstances. Overall not my style either. This is far too polite, and what I would expect a well-mannered but meek secretary to wear. Shy intern vibes—no thanks.

It does have okay longevity going for it. I would consider this sort of fresh and floral, and it lasts a solid 6 hours. It is soft, with a moderate to low sillage as it wears throughout the day.

Saffron

Too much like cheap Body Spray
The description of the notes sounded perfect. Smelled pretty, sweet and inoffensive for the first moment.
However, the overall scent was a bit cheap. It reminded me of 1980s Impulse body spray. Perhaps it just didn't work on me?

This perfume is very sentimental for me even though I haven’t had it long. My best friend died in a car accident and she loved champagne and the number 8. Her mother uses the infinity symbol to commemorate her. As I was searching for a new perfume, I found this. This perfume gives off a very sparkly, bubbly feeling in the opening— like champagne. Of course, infinity is in the name and bottle design. It’s a beautifully refreshing smell and the dry down is gorgeous as well, powdery and woody but without being too “vintage” smelling. The longevity and projection aren’t insane but to me it’s worth it just because of what it reminds me of. It’s a truly “pretty” scent and it makes me feel pretty when I wear it.

Was intrigued by the notes and the bottle and I am a huge fan of Lalique. But: First it's fresh, fruity, young, sparkling....and in the next minute it turns into a boring, mature, stuffy office scent! 😫 I guess it's too much musk... Unfortunately I have to sell it. 😞

Sophistique86

Very soft very elegant very sophisticated and magical fragrance!!! I'm in love with it and very happy to find such a gorgeous hidden gem.I always quite liked soft, musky feminine but long lasting fragrances and i was on a search for hunt. Then in a youtube video i saw someone taliking about this fragrance and she described it as a ''magical scent''It really got my attention to it then i decided to order a bottle online because of the pandemic without trying it.OMG!!It became one of my favourite scents from top to bottom. It has a fizzy champagne like opening with lots of peaches with litchi, then freesia, rose and jasmine comes but rose mostly and then beautiful musk takes the role all apart from them.I highly recommend this fragrance if you like ''Etheral'' fragrances like Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc,Chloe Love etc.I feel like a Greek God when i smell this on my skin it has a feminine, mature but classy powdery vibe.Lucky to get 100ml bottle ;)

inspe13

I have a sample of it. Looking at the notes one might think that it is similar to the classic Chloe range, yet it has nothing in common.
I can only describe it as "meh" and "blah". It smells soapy like some linen perfume.

Jana711xx

Beautiful bottle beautiful perfume, soft but long lasting

Bubbles1964

There’s a lot of reasons to love Lalique, affordability and beautiful bottles are two attributes that the company does well. Unfortunately, finding a juice that works on my skin is not as easy, and Rеve d'Infini is a strike out.

The opening is too much of everything, and very synthetic. The most problematic notes are musk and peach. The opening was too difficult to manage, I did not wait for the drydown.

waskotransportation

When will i wise up and stop blind buying full bottles.
I love chloe and several people said there were a lot of similarities. Thats why i bought it.

I smell the litchi but it is not as pronounced or strong as chloe but the litchi is the only redeeming note on my skin.

Over a short time the litchi is pushed out by something else that smells like baby powder and cheap musk of some sort. The baby powder is overwhelming and ruins it for me.

Gave to my neighbor. Shes a preteen and loves it.

Honeysuckle85

I love this fragrance. It is so feminine and elegant in its simplicity, the fresh opening thanks to litchi and a hint of peach gradually evolves to a delicate, slightly sweet and musky drydown which perfectly matches with my skin and makes me feel very fresh and pretty whatever I decide to wear that day. Extremely pleasant perfume also for those people who are sitting next to you.
Being suitable for spring and summer season I would say that Rêve d’Infini follows the Chloè type of fragrance trail, but despite many notes actually match with the two fragrances, they are completely different especially in the dry down and trail, I would assume that Lalique is softer and sweeter.

enipalellm

I don't usually do it but I blind bought this one. The moment I saw the bottle I was so sure I had to have it. Because, just have a look, it's such a beautiful feminine bottle isn't it. And since I bought the in-flight exclusive one, it came with a free bracelet, cheep but cute.

Never had I thought I wouldn't like it but sadly I didn't like it at all. I still don't. It's more like I don't have the ability to like it.

It's not because it smells horrible but it gives me migraine when I apply it on my wrists or neck or anywhere other than ankles. I am so very sad.

I won't give up hope, though. One of my all time favourite perfume is Magnifique from Lancôme and it used to give me headache also. Then a few years later something happened and my nose became ready to accept it, et voilà, I fell in love with the magnificent scent. It was however discontinued soon after that. Alas. I am sincerely hoping the same thing would happen to this beauty as well.

Right now, I don't get any fruity notes. No lychee nor peach. All I get is something powdery sweet in a headache causing way. When I try to detect some more notes, my head just decides to punish me.

It has good longevity and sillage.

PricklyAndHot

Pink type of fragrances. My hopes were on charming litchi, but no(

Frayja

Adore, adore, adore it! Spring-ish , long lasting, elegant, lovely, with a remarkable bottle and one of the most poetic names.
If someone of you has it and no want it anymore,I ll be glad to have it through a swap.Let me know.

Soofiya

I've already reviewed this one but another review seems necessary after living a while with this perfume and I don't want to delete my first impressions
When I look at my collection, about half of my perfumes look like mistakes to me.not that I dislike them all, just I didn't really need them in my life.lalique reve d'infini is among these group
It looked like a very girly, pink, fruityfloral to me when I first bought it but now I find it more suitable for adults.on me,it's drydown is all about white musk, cedar, freesia and a soft rose.I know a lot of people would love it,but I find it a bit too clean, polished and cold and I find nothing really sweet here.it stays close to skin and is light and can make a great office scent but if I go back in time I won't buy it.it doesn't even last on my skin more than 3 hours, and I can barely smell it since first minute!
If you're into white musk, light rose and freesia with a really woody undertone, make sure to try it and give it a couple of minutes for it's fruity top notes to fade away

WOW !!! Underrated GEM !!
I tested this today, without knowing a thing about it,had no idea of notes breakdown ect...Well...I was WOWED and surprised to say the least. The floral..musky..slight woodsy vibe too. It is awesome sauce. The SA in Neiman Marcus insisted I also try the body cream....which was fantastic too. I went home and promptly ordered the largest bottle on eBay for under $35. (The retail price at Neiman's was $155 !!) A new favorite/instant love.
Longevity and projection is "medium".

noel1stanley

My all-time favorite perfume. This beautiful floral has notes of Jasmine and Plumeria. It has such beautiful notes and undertones that last all day long. It is a little more expensive, but completely worth it.

Soofiya

Lalique is among my favorite perfume brands.I appreciate it for it's affordable, easy to access, variable and high quality fragrances.I own lalique living,le parfum, azalee,l'amour, amethyst eclat, satin and rose royal.I was looking forward to try lalique's new perfume in this adorable bottle
Well, first test didn't go well.I'm not usually looking for outstanding, revolutionary perfumes.my only expectation is appearing lovely to my nose, which is by the way a very easy going one,and also being noticeable without trying hard,at least for an hour.lalique reve d'infini was nice, not something I can name lovely, just a blah fruityfloral.there was nothing bad-smelling in it but it's non-descript florals which couldn't really show up beneath it's medium quality fruity notes didn't let it pass "meh" and turn to a "like" for me.bigger let down was it's strength.it was so faint that I could barely smell it on paper strip
So I find out no way to convince myself to buy it but when I checked it's note's list and saw musk among them decided to give it another chance.I can't usually judge musky scents without spraying them on my skin since my nose seems to be half anosmic to musk on paper
Today I came across a tester bottle of reve d'infini in a perfume shop and sprayed it on back of my hand without paying much attention to it.after an hour it surprised me with gorgeous wafts of a soft, delicately sweet, feminine scent.it wasn't as fruity/peachy as the opening.none of the notes really stand out to me but I believe it was mostly a light, clean musky floral with fruity sparks of litchi and to be honest I like it.it's youthful, easy to wear, springy and has a soft powderyness which I find appealing.I can't detect much woody notes but they should be there helping musk to add a touch of ladylike sophistication to this girly scent.I think it can be versatile and has no age limitations.a nice daily fragrance for spring, summer and early fall and at the same time appropriate for evening wear.it's not as weak as my first test on paper.it's still there after almost six hours and I believe it's very good but sillage isn't strong
I'm not going to buy it yet because it's too expensive for a lalique perfume.I have to wait if I want to buy it in normal lalique price range(30$).it's a nice perfume in this price range but I won't pay double price that perfume shops are asking for it right now

Arlene-Beatrix

Peach, litchi, rose and woodsy notes. It's too peachy for me. However, I have to admit that bottle is a masterpiece.

Eicher

A safe scent. Musk, peach and litchi are strong opening notes. Dries down into a light, not too sweet fruity perfume. The vanilla and sandalwood are barely noticeable (I don't sense any rose and jasmine). Inoffensive. Enjoyable. Gorgeous bottle, though.

Vegas Pauli

A really sweet fruity floral. Could easily be mistaken for a Lancome Miracle, Escada or Nina Ricci flanker. Rather nondescript. Too bad the vanilla, musk or sandalwood doesn't make more of an impact here, as this needs a little kick in the pants to make it stand out. Its generally nice but this gets lost in the crowd. Maybe a sweet young girl would enjoy this, but anyone else will be put to sleep. Lalique plays it way too safe here. Pass.
