Dolce Melodia Sospiro Perfumes for women and men

the first time i smelled it at the store it was very creamy luxurious orange vanilla it was divine. but now i bought a full bottle and i tried for a couple of weeks but i don't get the same feeling i got first time unfortunately now i only get as someone mentioned tic-tacs resemblance

I bought a white bottle, because yellow was sold out everywhere. And later ordered a sample of yellow to compare. Yes, they are very similar, but I love yellow more! It is juicier, saffron more prominent, projection is better, lasts longer and dry down is to die for - creamy, bit vanillic and still somehow juicy.

It's niiice but hasn't "wowed" me

Smells so similar to cheaper fruity perfumes that are unrelentless.

I have jasmine wisp and it's in the same vein as dolce melodia. I mean don't get me wrong! It's nice but not "$300+" nice. I can smell the blend, the quality, the luxurious ingredients but I don't think I'm gonna get this when the drydown is 85% similar to things I already own and appreciate.

I have the drydown on me right now and it's giving Royal Amber Orientica which I already had and would not repurchase.

Sorry Sospiro you're not gonna reel this sucker in, not this time. .

This citrus and fruity perfume has stronger floral notes than I expected. The rose and pear punch through leaving the dry down to be more floral than citrusy. It's very distinct without being offensive and also tows the line between smelling like widely sold fragrances and more niche perfumes.

Currently on the hunt for the white bottle of this perfume. Ugh this is amazing, the best orange scent. It’s feminine, sunny, & invokes the feeling of sipping an expensive mai tai near crystal clear waters. Edit: I got the white bottle for a deal:3

I have never been complimented so much on a perfume until today. This was my first time wearing Sospiro Dolce Melodia out in public and women were falling all over me, two actually wrote down the name. Truly my #1 favorite perfume ever! It's the most beautiful thing I have ever smelled, and I guess I'm not the only one.

If you know Dulce Diablo, this smells EXACTLY like DD. I sprayed it and thought, ‘where have I smelled this?’ No, not Erba Pura, not Jasmine Whisp…Dulce Diablo! Too bad they’re both expensive perfumes so I don’t think you’re saving too much money buying one or the other. Fruity, slightly gourmand, summer gourmand.

EDIT: Um, no. I just bought Dulce Diablo and it DOES NOT smell like Dolce Melodia, my decant from Scent Split smells like Dolce Melodia and I figured out why, because Scent Split SENT ME THE WRONG FRAGRANCE!!!I ordered Dulce Diablo and they sent me DOLCE MELODIA!!!! This literally smells EXACTLY like my sample I spent 30-40$ on.

Sadly, I’m out $280. This scent, I’ve been loving it since I got it. It’s divine. It reminds me of Viva La Juicy but niche and more refined so if that was your jam back in the day, you WILL love this. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this. It’s very crowd pleasing. A girl at work is getting married and I let her use my decant and she loved it. Everyone at work was going on about how good it smelled. The notes look simple, but the smell is so much more than just the notes. It’s perfectly balanced and honestly a perfect signature scent. It’s more summery but honestly yo could pull it off year round due to the warm notes snd saffron. This and Mallow are my néw favorite fragrances.

I have to admit that I base my purchases on Youtube-reviews bacause I always think these people know so much more about scents than I do:this time it was Sebastian (the perfume guy) who warmly recommended this scent, so when my sister offered to gift me a ,,pricey" scent for Easter it had to be this one!Well...I was somehow dissapointed:on my skin it started very sharp and sour (fortunately for just 2 minutes), but then, as someone else pointed out, it developped into a very synthetic orange fragrance, like kind of a shampoo form my childhood.It is not an unpleasant scent, of course, but for that money (in Germany 270E) I honestly expected much more...as ,,times go by" it becomes more pleasant but again, not very original or ground-breaking.It is more feminine for me, the longevity is good and the sillage moderate.I would not recommend a ,,blind buy".But ...as I said in another review maybe it`s the male vs. female skin chemistry...maybe on Sebastian´s skin it was really that kind of wonderful 😊

Really pleasant at first sniff, but there’s something very animalic going on here and I don’t like it

When I read the words intoxicating and addictive, I instantly knew what people were talking about after purchasing this. I do get a slightly almond vibe on the initial spray but wears off completely after about 30 mins. The citrus blast is intense on first spray but very beautiful. I would say the citrus is more like a mandarin or passion fruit rather than like a full on orange. It is a very creamy and airy scent. The florals do not come out until after an hour or so but they are so well blended and creamy themselves in makes this perfume just intoxicating. You know the vanilla and sandalwood etc are there, but the creamy citrus and florals are centre stage. The projection enormous, the longevity is excellent, and this leans more feminine to my nose. You know this is going to be a compliment getter for sure. My nose has not experienced anything like this particular scent before. Definitely full bottle worthy in my opinion. Would be great for all times of the day and night, and through spring to early autumn. In love with this one.

I haven’t smelled a single orange scent I liked until now, this is absolutely delicious. It’s very sensual somehow. Love it, unreal.

What an incredibly juicy dream. I can’t get enough! I agree with previous reviewer saying it resembles passion-fruit tic-tacs. The opening is one of the juiciest blasts of orange and pear I have ever smelt. The saffron gives it an amazing touch. Think sweet juicy yellow zesty fruits - orange, lemon and if I would guess without knowing the notes, passionfruit and Mango. So punchy, sweet and tart at the same time. Not sweet in a cloying way, sweet as in fruity sweet. This is a happy, summery/springy and dense fragrance. The vanilla comes through beautifully quite early already in the mid together with the black current and florals. The rose sits curiously in the back not overtaking any other notes. The yellow bottle really represents the bubbly, bright and fun juice this one delivers. Performs great and lasts a very long time on my skin.

Campy tic-tacs and iris. I don't know how to feel about this, or maybe I do and I'm too proud to admit it. On paper, I hate synthetic-smelling fruit in my gourmands. And this is synthetic to the max. I would love to turn up my nose and say my tastes are too sophisticated for this fragrance.

There's a joy to it, though, and a very loud camp version of tastefulness. This round, almost lactonic simulation of a fruit. The best comparison I can make is the smell of passion fruit tic-tacs. It's tart and milky in scent but chalky in texture. I wonder if there is real iris here? Probably not; it's probably just ionones. The effect is so fake but so precise at the same time. And there is real beauty in how precisely calibrated and balanced it is. It's really puzzling. It's too good to be an air freshener, but you can tell it's made of all the same components.

Am I over thinking this one?

I am upset I did not buy this sooner. I have never come across a citrus that projects like this. I know a lot of people say this is more feminine leaning, and I do not see it. You will get compliments every single time you wear this.

Worth every penny IMO. You will get 8-10 hours out of this with minimal sprays. Go easy on the trigger if you plan on being indoors for a long period of time.

I also do not see the comparison to Loumari Porthole. Porthole is more salty and aquatic.

Smells like a air freshener I remember getting elementary. I like the smell but idk if I would wanna smell like it. I think it would be great to smell on a woman tho

One of the most beautiful, yummy citrus perfumes I have tried. It is so sunny and gorgeous wow No bitterness, no sourness...pure sunshine

Testing sample from a yellow bottle - very fruity (oranges, mandarin, pear), bright and smooth (tiny bit of florals, musk and vanilla in the background), sweet and pleasant, quite dense. Unisex, leaning feminine. Overall impression - bright, yellow & fruity (like Erba Gold). I like it, but not enough to get a full bottle.

Anyone else get a strong scent of almonds in the opening?

So I have both the white bottle and the yellow bottle. They are different. The white bottle is lighter, more feminine, fruity, juicy floral. The yellow bottle has similar profile but it’s much more unisex, thicker denser more syrupy and has a fizziness to it, like a soda with the pop of the carbonation, whereas the white one doesn’t have that at all. I like both but I prefer the white bottle for my girlfriend, it’s sexier to me for a woman. I know when people hear denser richer thicker they automatically associate that with better quality or stronger and longer lasting, not at all though, it’s just how it sounds. Go for whichever is easiest for you to try.

Much appreciated for the response on bottle colours. Just one more thing, which is the most important, to get clear is about notes breakdown and fragrance type/ quality. Is there any difference between notes/ ingredients used in these bottles.

Regarding the difference between the white and yellow bottles, I received the following information from Sospiro:

“We would like to update you that Dolce Melodia, initially released in a white bottle as part of the Sinfonia Collection in 2020, was a limited edition and is currently not available for purchase on our website and in stores.

Dolce Melodia has made a return to the Classica Collection, now presented in a yellow velvet bottle.”

Oh man, that juicy opening got my mouth watering for a good hour, LOL. Phenomenal composition and FB-worth, IMO! And perfectly unisex too...if you're okay with smelling citrus-rich.

Reminds me mildly of BDK's Pas ce Soir Extrait and a little bit of Nishane's Zenne.

Scent opens quite smooth and creamy, maybe some aspects of Italica's gourmand feel. But it dries with a very present pear note which is where the PCSE comp comes from. Aggregate scent feels a bit synthetic with good-to-strong sillage. I notice the musks and white florals which are not blended as smoothly as the aforementioned BDK. All the accords fade into the musk note, the same one visible in Erba Pura, Erba Gold, Ouverture etc.

I don't think this has anything even mildly resembling a Black Opium / HSW type profile since there's no blast of florals and the sweetness is not as overwhelming (esp. after the first minute).

Joyful, gauzy layered bubbly lemonade based concoction of clean fresh fruits and abstract white florals.

A fragrance that has elements of white space so you can see it all. Very happy, fresh and youthful, an exuberance that is playful. Wonderful in the heat and winds of a subtropical climate.

I perceive the fruits as a creamy pear and apple (on a bed of lemonade). The white florals feel more blossom-like with a honeyed edge. Never cloying just very pleasant and leaves a gorgeous scent trail even if you fail to perceive it yourself.

A light soapy touch in the dry down with an element of dry white woods. Really beautiful.

Juicy fruit gum opening, then cream gardenia and Jasmine tone it down a bit. Definitely a high quality “happy” citrus floral scent. Divine year round!

On paper it was like a sublime yet smooth and creamy white flower scent and I barely got the fruit, but then I sprayed it on the crook of my arm and the mix of fruit was almost like pineapple (I know it's not listed) and this is where the Porthole similarity must be coming up for people.

I already ordered a decant, but it really does smell similar to BtV Violet Sapphire, which I have a travel size of. It's beautiful, but to me not particularly unique.

Not sure what the hype is. It smells like bubble gum and orange soda to me.

this is not a jammy kind of fragrance. so dont worry about the sweetness. its a sweetness of BR, so its soft, airy and so luxurious. its really pleasant to wear .. its pretty much unisex. :D

I get oranges and almonds. Smells nice and creamy, but really sweet. I agree with the person who said it smells like a candied orange liqueur but with almond, even though it doesn’t come of as boozy. Will test on skin in spring and summer.

Edit: Tested it in spring. I still like the orangey/almondy aspect, but on my skin the white florals come out more and it’s also a bit too synthetic smelling for my taste. Unfortunately it gives me a headache after a while. Wouldn’t mind smelling this on someone passing by though.

Edit: Sacred Bond by Reinvented smells like an even sweeter raspberry version of this. Funny enough with the same creamy, almondy aspect. They seem to share a lot of the same notes: mandarin orange, saffron, gardenia, jasmin, rose, vanilla, sandalwood, white musk. Also gave me a headache.

Contrary to Nessers comments below, not all of the fragrances named even smell like they came from the same vein. Kirke, Erba Pura (now
THOSE two share similarities) Dolce Melodia, Guidance, (they smell NOTHING ALIKE nor like the first 2 mentioned) may have some common notes. But keep in mind Gentle Fluidity Gold & Silver have ALL the same notes and are totally different fragrance in the olfactory sense. That said…. I love this rose & saffron and company fragrance. Notes give off so many different smells depending on composition and such so don’t let it fool you. I loathe the first 2, love the other two. Give this a try and you may be surprised.

Very mass pleasing, candied opening. Fruity sweet. Reminds me of Dior perfumes for women that I've smelt but i'm not sure exactly which one. Smells very designer, but done at a high quality.

It is a comforting versatile and fun fragrance. I enjoy it very much. It lasts all day and I get compliments when I wear it. On clothes it stays even longer and it’s pretty linear. Does anyone know why there are two different presentations of this fragrance? Is there any difference between a white glass perfume bottle and an orange velvety one?

This reminds me of a lighter version of Bond no.9 Chinatown.

This is my first time trying Sospiro and I love this scent! I dont smell roses at all. I get a beautiful citrusy sweet opening with a touch of jasmine. FB worthy.

I love this so much. It’s everything I wanted from Choeur des Anges. This is a beautifully sweet and sour orange that you can really sink your teeth into. The saffron gives it some bite and the gardenia brings refinement and a bit of daintiness and whimsy. Dolce Melodia is neither too juvenile nor too mature (for my tastes)… it is perfectly balanced IMO. Definitely a crowd pleaser, best suited for spring through fall. I’m obsessed.

Why is everyone doing the saffron and Rose fruit combination? I'm so sick of this. Erba Pura and kirke and I dream of Paris and dolce melodia and don't forget mon Paris and countless other designer fragrances. Guidance! The whole point about fragrance collecting is finding something original. You guys can do better than this. I am very disappointed because I had high expectations for this fragrance. Some people were saying it is the best thing they have smelled in this summer etc. You have to have it etc. There is a severe lack of creativity when it comes to female targeted fragrances. This is not how every female wants to smell. We are very diverse. I do enjoy citrus especially orange, but I also enjoy aromatics and green fragrances as well. I am still relatively young, and my personal taste has always been this way. Whoever is in charge of rubber stamping the current fragrances on the market should not be in their position. This is an area where artists should be free to express themselves. And I truly believe a large number are not free anymore. I haven't been this disappointed since Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles.

Screechy, powdery, headache inducing

This fragrance is absolutely awful! It's nothing but water and sugar. It might be attractive to some high school girls, but I can't image an adult man or woman enjoying it. It can also be very headache inducing. Fortunately, I got only a 5ml sampler.

Very nice smell, I doubt anyone would dislike it as it’s very safe and pleasant but is it me or does this not project much at all? I found it to be quite intimate and the longevity overall to be quite poor which is a shame because the scent, while nothing groundbreaking is nice. Would pick up a FB but only on discount.

Reminds me a tad of Mula Mula but the gardenia florals here give it that less sweet, airy floral touch. Quite lovely, safe parfum

Even though it’s not listed, I get notes of almonds. I can detect the floral notes and vanilla but not really fruity at all.

This has the Erba Pura DNA for sure (I cannot stand Erba Pura). Very sweet synthetic musk vibe, but this is surprisingly not annoying to me (not loud). Also, maybe due to the lack of passion fruit, it doesn't smell like rotting fruits lol. Pineapple is not listed in the notes but I smell something like a pineapple hard candy. I get NO florals. Also, surprisingly not very projecting nor long lasting like its cousin Erba Pura. This type of DNA will never be my fav but if I had to choose one to own it would be this one. I dig this. Glad to own a bottle, it's a keeper! However I have to admit that this one is nowhere near worth retail. If you can find for 50% off, go for it! Provenzano never fails to take a popular DNA and make it really really good!
P/s: Love the color of the bottle but overall the shape is ugly. Like what even is it?

Update: I am officially obsessed! This is so addicting! Also after a month of sitting, i finally smell the white florals (mainly jasmine).

This is a very nice floral that is shy, yet confident. While it will not over power anyone, it will definitely stand out and stand on its own. While it is unique, it is soft and dainty...not too mature but not adolescent either. Don't take the shyness for weakness. It is quite long lasting and is definitely safe to blind buy. She is gorgeous and sophisticated and ladylike. A hard love and I often find myself craving this scent when I want a feminine floral that is different. It is a bit powdery too, which is my favorite note in any scent...especially florals.

Favorite from Sospiro so far besides Vibrato. This is feminine, sweet, fruity, floral, absolutely addicting. I love this perfume.
I cant really compare it to any other fragrance either. Its pretty unique. A must try for woman.

Smells nothing like Erba Pura or Kirke, I strongly dislike both and absolutely love Dolce Melodia. Dolce Melodia doesnt have that obnoxious musk.
