AAAAAAAhhhhhhhh this is what perfection smells like for the high heat summer days. It never disappoints!

I have four fragrances from The Different Company, and I really appreciate their ability to make natural smelling scents.

There's nothing remotely artificial in Sienne D'Orange, I smell a smooth orange and I'm guessing that smoothness is due to the prominent suede note layered behind the citrus.

Easy to wear but also a linear perfume, no changes from beginning to end.

I like to wear it in warmer weather, during the height of summer. It stays close and fades to a skin scent in a few hours, and that's something I like in warmer months.

I am smitten by this smell, and so far this is my favourite out of TDC's cologne editions. The orange in the top notes of Sienne D'Orange is real and juicy but not too loud. Carrot and coriander work magically to add a bit of dry sweetness to the composition. Before looking at the notes, I expected to see incense. The suede - leather combo gives this a really smooth and velvety undertone.
This fragrance made me very happy upon spraying it, then it kept me interested in its unusual combination of orange and spices and carrot. The dry down is also lovely, a smell of new luxury suede (I find suede a little orangey on its own as it is).
The scent is still being projected after 4 hours of wear, and after around 5 hours it turns into a pleasant skin scent. The dry down reminds me of SL's Daim Blond :)

I fully agree with majesty on this one.
It's a smooth and indeed 'velvety' orange with a touch of suede.
Also the carrot and iris are definitely there as well as cardamom apricot wood. I don't know if apricot wood smells like apricot, but I do smell something apricot-like in this wonderful fragrance.
I think it's a unique combination of notes, I mean: orange, carrots, iris & leather in one mixture? Sounds odd, but it definitely works!
A citrus scent done differently with a lovely outcome!

I used a dab vial, so that might be the reason why my expierence with longevity and silage differs from others - it stayed very close to my skin (I dabbed around 0.3ml) and lasted only 5 hours.

The scent itself is somewhat pretty, I get the "sunshine in bottle" reference, but it didn't develop as beautifully as I hoped it would - stayed pretty linear. The opening orange was rather sharp and "refreshner kind", but very soon settled to an indeed sunny orange scent with warm, feminine undertones.

Nothing groundbreaking, but pretty. For an orange-mandarin scent I'd go with Il Profmo Osmo scents Mandarine.

It's like after spraying instead of smell you have a natural orange in your arms, blossoming in full its power, fresh and sweet with warm spicy notes makes your skin romantically burn. It's perfect.

I find the central orange-leather-iris accord pretty delightful, juicy, not overly sweet and pretty realistic but the whole fragrance fails to coalesce into something outstanding. There's a generic/boring woody-musky thing going on in the base plus the juice feels extremely weak even for an eau de cologne. When it comes to lighter takes on orange-based colognes, there are boatloads of better alternatives out there. From Orange Sanguigne to Cologne Bigarade via Eau D'Orange Verte and Eau De Tarocco.

Sienne d'orange is an exquisite rendition of this fruit.
At first it smells like a fine orange liquor. I guess the carrot gives to this composition a special kick, a little earthy and raw.
The woods are there, as is the cardamom, but they are just to keep the orange and carrot afloat for longer time.
Looking at the notes, I thought that maybe this would be like a very natural fragrance, in a wild and very real way. Instead, Sienne d'orange stays calm, natural but refined, subtle and (to me) more feminine than masculine.
It's a great fragrance that took me by surprise because I didn't expect to find in this line something similar in quality to Tokyo Bloom.
PS: I adore Ramon Monegal's Entre Naranjos and I think Sienne d'orange can be paired perfectly.

Sienne d'Orange is a smooth,velvety orange with a touch of suede.The opening is an explosion of orange peels,very true and energizing.After a couple of minutes,I still smell orange with some spice,I guess it's the cardamom.The drydown is totally different.The energy of orange starts to fade,I clearly smell suede and carrots(I love carrots)!!Now it's a creamy,smooth combination of suede,carrot's flesh and orange popsicle.It's not overly sweet,it has the right sweetness to make it pleasant.Very suitable for spring and summer.I would suggest it to those who like citrusy scents but not the harsh,astringent type. Sienne d'Orange can make your day!Good lasting power too.

I love the 'quietness' of the orange in this scent as others have noted. Unlike almost every other orange based fragrance I have tried, the orange does not overwhelm the senses. One does not feel dunked into a pitcher of orange juice. The orange melds seamlessly into the whole. I love the way the scent gives a dry feeling, like orange trees on the edge of a desert or scented gloves left out in the sun. This darker, rather muted "sienna" orange is the only orange scent I would wear. The others are too strong for my taste.

Really a lovely job by The Different Company on this one. Good job, Ms. Ellena.

The Different Company SIENNE D'ORANGE is a likeable, smooth, light orange cologne with subtlety and finesse. I am afraid, however, that it is going to be difficult to win over amateurs of Hermès CONCENTRE D'ORANGE VERTE and the like.

The problem I see is that we are used to a certain rather brisk and powerful presentation of citrus. Something like SIENNE D'ORANGE may seem weak and wishy-washy in comparison. The leather here is extremely light, and on first sniff, I actually thought that this contained patchouli, in a composition parallel to LIMON DE CORDOZA. I also do not smell much in the way of cardamom, carrot, or dill in this composition. Of course those are often wielded with a heavy hand and can result in too culinary of a mix. Dill is a particularly tricky note, it seems to me.

Everything here is well-mannered and measured, even genteel. But I fear that the people who might like this subtler, lower-key orange cologne are probably those who have already learned generally to steer clear of citrus altogether because they always find it too declarative. Another good example is Bond no 9 LITTLE ITALY, which also offers a relatively strong presentation of orange. It is different from the Hermès, but equally forceful, particularly in its central citrus orange note.

I like SIENNE D'ORANGE, but not as much as these orange-focused fragrances already beloved to me. It could just be a matter of habit, but I am indeed habituated to that sort of orange: powerful, not very sweet, preferably green, and mixed with woods and/or resins.

A great disappointment. I sampled this new release in Milan at Mazzolari Piazza San Babila.

At first it smells like an orange popsicle: sugary and artificial. After the bright headnotes vanish, the scent into a bland woodsy melange.
