State Your Case

Aug 10, 2013

Today we wrap up our August Release!

Gosh it is just so bitter sweet. I am moving on in other directions, and doing what I need to for my family. It is like saying goodbye to a loved one in a sense.

I cannot believe I have been paper crafting for 10 years now! It has provided me with so much that I don’t even think I can really ever put it into perfect words. Its saved me during many stressful times, and provided for me (and many others) in so many ways, and on so many levels. I feel so blessed to have been given such a gift of turning a dream into a reality and accomplishing things I was told I could never do by nay sayers.

THANK YOU for letting me share what I LOVE to do with all of you, and being there every step of the way!

As we wind down please visit the following designers for projects today:

  • Lauren Meader
  • Kimberly Morrow
  • Lori Kalus
  • Karien vab der Westhuizen
  • Mary Vogel
  • State Your Case

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    5 3/4 Inches Tall

    4 1/2 Inches Wide

    3 Inches Deep

This is definitely a handy little “case” that will help you to perfectly package up a variety of items such as A2 size cards/envelopes, stationary, office supplies, hair care, new baby products, bath products, jams, baked goods, cooking mixes….to name a few. So many possibilities!

In any case, no matter what you package up in here, it is sure to carry feelings of joy with it!

You asked (stated your case for what you wanted and why) , and I listened!

This template is a combination of Wonderfully Wrapped © and the Sweet Treats Tote © now known as State Your Case!

I used the Farmhouse Fresh © collection as my starting point for colors.

I created my framed using the Killer Curves © set. I LOVE the little bee hive/bees from the Bee-Loved © set so I used that for my label.

As you can see the front/side panels tie closed for a pretty detail.

The tag on top of my box says Sweet as can bee, and it is from the Bee-Loved Sentiments © .

I used this to package a FAVORITE Stress Relief body scrub.

    Fits like a dream!

There is a lot more room than this requires, but I like having options and variety.

The scalloped border was made using the Border Builders Open Scallop ©.

I really hope you all love the larger, taller, and combined template version we now call State Your Case!

There is just so much that can be done with it, I really hope you will give it try for yourself, as well as the other 9 NEW Pretty Packaging templates we’ve shared over the last week and a half.

    This has 3 sides

I used the Blooming with Elegance © paper collection for a simple and easy design.

The main layer is the pretty floral layout, and the other sides are the more detailed patterns in the collection.

It tucks in on the side by a tab, and unfolds open-SURPRISE!

Add anything (or nothing) to the top.

You can also lay it on its side and the ends will open up.

The flower was cut using the flower topper from the In a Cinch template

This release has really focused on quick, and simple projects that pack the punch of WOW factor!

My tag was created using the Round Off © set

I tied a bow around the middle of the layer, and it accents this perfectly!

I love the dual combination or cardstock colors.

It doesn’t take much to make this a stunner!

    Pretty Mellow Yellow Soap Set

This was made using a back cardstock, then I layered a cut panel from the Spring Abound © paper collection.

    Pencil You In

    Aug 6, 2013

Today we welcome you back again as we sahre some project made using the NEW! Pencil You In

Please visit the following designers for ideas with this fun new template:

  • Lauren Meader
  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Mary Vogel
  • Pencil You In

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    2 3/4 Inches Around

    7 1/2 Inches Tall

Whatever the occasion, Pencil this in for being a fun and unique gift box!

A fun play on words for this super cute template that is designed to look like a pencil! Perfect for any student, teacher or co-worker/boss! Create this for any occasions such as Back to School, Last Day of School, PTO staff, Teacher Appreciation, Bosses Day, Job Well Done, or to say Thank You, or Just a Note! This is also a fun party favor. You can make this look like a crayon and fill it with pencils, markers, or crayons, and print off some coloring pages! Great for the aspiring artist, or writer! The possibilities are just endless.

This idea came from my youngest daughter Amber.  She is ALWAYS thinking outside the box, and has given me the most creative ideas for templates over the years. She was over the moon when she saw how they turned out.

    Pencil You In

Are these not adorable, and definitely different than the “standard” back to school packing ideas!

The pencil on the left is designed to look like your standard No.2 pencil, I even scored the sides!

I had to do a red one, given the “Apple of my eye” sentiment, and for a little versatility in COLOR!

These would be great for an Art teacher/student as well.

    No 2. Pencil

I love how this turned out. I used the images from Lunch Box Love Notes ©

and the Lunch Box Love Notes Additions © for both samples today.

Both sets are available in digital download: Lunch Box Love Notes © 37 Images – Digital

In here I just put a package of pencils to show that it is in fact tall enough to held pencils, markers etc.

Now for my pretty little red pencil…

    Apple of my eye

I thought it was fun to stage this 😀

I put all kinds of erasers in here. You could do candy and whatnot as well. Maybe a gift card to a Staples or something…

I love this one from the ric rac trim (to look like a sharpened pencil) to the cursive ABC ribbon, and then of course the tag!

Perfect for so many gifts, occasions and people.

Return tomorrow because we are sharing samples with the Pocket Change template then!

    Mix’er Up

    Aug 5, 2013

And the ideas just keep on comin’ along!

Today you will want to check out the following designers:

  • Lauren Meader
  • Lori Kalus
  • Kimberly Morrow
  • Romaine Rancier
  • Tracy Holmes
  • Wendy McGaffey
  • This template is a FUN one!

    Mix’er Up

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    10 Inches Tall

    4 1/2 Inches Wide

    2 1/2 Inches Deep

This design was inspired by a drink mixer.

    Yes, I said drink mixer!

I felt that the tall shaker was a great source of inspiration to fit those “taller” gifts like pump dispenser body products, soap dispensers, and of course drink mixes. Use this template to gift a variety of gifts that typically won’t fit in other boxes, or pile up the goodies! Enjoy the possibilities of this amazing box!

The ribbon ties the top closed.

I chose to use the Farmhouse Fresh © paper collection for this one. A most favorite collection of mine.

The scalloped circle layers were created using the Well Rounded Tag ©cut file.

I used the branch & berries from the Singing Silhouette © set, and the center flower is from the Occasional Labels © set, with the printed sentiment from the Timed Write © set.

and of course, we even decorated the BACK!

You want to ALWAYS ensure your projects are completely finished on all sides! That gives them a polished, finished and more professional look.

Return tomorrow as we feature project using the Pencil You In template!!

It is sure to be a great one for upcoming back to school ideas.

    Just Wrapped

    Aug 4, 2013

    Happy day!

Many more project await your viewing today!!!

Visit our design team today for many amazing gift ideas:

  • Lauren Meader
  • Lori Kalus
  • Karien vab der Westhuizen
  • Today I have another under 10 minute project for you!

    Just Wrapped

    Ahh! Happy Thoughts!

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    5 Inches Tall

    4 Inches Wide

    3 Inches Deep

Sometimes you just need to wrap something up! You want it to be quick and simple, but have a little time for too much creative flair or details. While you may be tight on time, you don’t have to make something that looks like it!

The pretty daisy pattern is from the Coffee Beans © collection. Makes me happy.

My tag was printed using the sentiment from the Chase Your Dreams © ! The background has a flourish swirl made using the Fanciful Flourishes © set, and my baby bee is from the Bee-Loved © .

The way the back and lid attach to this make this box extremely simple,

but adds that little something extra for a little fun decorative flair without the FUSS!

The Daisy atop my Just Wrapped template is from the Bee-Loved ©set.

Remove the ribbon wrapper, and tah-dah!

This box just may be what you need to wrap up the simplest of gifts, for all occasions, year after year.

I think this box full of Lindt Chocolates is far better than the big gold bag they come packaged in, don’t you think?

This would be a great “pick me up” for anyone having a bad day 😀

Tomorrow we share projects using the Mix’er Up! template.

    Check back in then.

    In a Cinch

    Aug 3, 2013

Exciting feature template today has 4 options for ONE low price of $3.99!

Check out the following designers to see what they have created with In a Cinch today:

  • Lauren Meader
  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Tracy Holmes
  • Kimberly Morrow
  • In a Cinch

You have endless possibilities for topper options as well when using the plain jane version (here I added the bird from a cut file we sell)

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    3 X 3 inches Squared

    2 Inches Tall

This is a fabulous set of 4 boxes, for one price! Box tops include a plain rounded top, a star, a flower and a butterfly.

Each box is unique with its own designer top closure, that offers you a ton of versatility and is a cinch to put together!

The rounded top allows you to add whatever you wish to the top of the box from a circle image, to large buttons, or customize it with any image or shape to suit your occasion.

For the plain version I used the bird silhouette from the A Little Birdie ©cut file, and the branch from the Branching Out © Cut File!

I sponged the bird, and added a black rhinestone. For the branch I cut it from kraft cardstock, then colored in my leaves with my Copic markers.

The star top box is perfect for “wishing you” occasions, top of the class, “you’re a star”, boy themes and of course “You Rock” types of gifts.

I LOVE the SK8R Boy © set. I printed the sentiment in a blue ink, then cut the star out.

The palid pattern from the Academic Hodge Podge © paper is also a fave of mine for anything BOY

The flower and/or butterfly tops makes a great party favor for any event be it a little girl, wedding, shower, garden or tea party….to name a few.

Here I layered my flowers with a felt flower & button center.

My paper is from the Parade of Patterns ©

It was so simple, yet elegant! Would make an awesome wedding favor for sure.

I’m a butterfly fanatic (in case you cannot tell already), so this is my personal favorite of the 4!

The butterfly is stamped along the wing with a flower silhouette from  Killer Curves © and the sentiment is from the All A Flutter Sentiments © set. I think is looks really simple, yet so pretty.

I used the Shutt-erfly © paper collection along the sides (an oldie but favorite pattern/color selection of mine)

As you can EASILY see here, so many possibilities.

Check out our entire line of Pretty Pieces Cut Files for the MANY other topper options!

Tomorrow I hope you will return as we share projects using the Just Wrapped Template!!!

  • Happy Hallows

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    4 3/4 Inches Long

    4 3/4 Inches Wide

    3 Inches Tall

There is nothing like presenting something in a unique package. This box is certain to make everyone happy with its fun, hallowed side panels, and killer curves. While the design possibilities are endless, this could easily be made into a ladybug, bumble bee, butterfly, chick, bunny and owl, to name a few.

So make someone happy today, and fill this little hallowed box full of fun.

My go to gift is Bath & Body Works body wash & lotion, and always a mini pedicure set 😀

It all tucks away nicely into this box.

I wrapped this with a shimmery green ribbon. I added a pretty yellow butterfly to the bow center.

The tag was created with the Framed Elegance © then cut using the Framed Elegance © cut file.

I created it using the roses from the Well Rounded © set, and the Happy Birthday from the Tending The Garden © set.

The Parade of Patterns © is just so pretty and colorful. I really helped to make this project easy and fun.

    Bee Happy

This is such a fun template. I LOVE yellow, red, and green, and the Farmhouse Fresh © paper on the sides really makes it an EASY WOW!

I used the Bow-Tied © cut file to make a pretty faux wrap around this as a design alternative, then added some berries I got at Christmas time.

I adore this template! Burt’s Bee’s stuff is always coveted by many people I know.

My mom’s hands crack in the winter so I got this for her.

The tag was made using the Bee-Loved ©, and the branch/berries from the Singing Silhouette © set.

Sentiment is from the Tending The Garden © set.

I could use this template alone and make a ton of fun stuff!

I knew immediately I wanted to try a ladybug and a bumblebee!

    Hello Lady!

    How seriously cute is she?

I used the scoring panel for on the sides to make my head, and antenna.

I just drew on the mouth and eyelashes.

    I LOVE her.

I found this super cute hand sanitizer holder at Bath & Body Works and thought it would be the PERFECT gift for this package.

I added a tag to it using the Lovely Labels 1 © set, printed black onto red cardstock,

then cut out the layers using the Lovely Labels 1 © cut file.

On the tag I stamped a flower from the Sensational Stems © set, and the Hello there. from the Sensational Sentiments © set.

I think it is SUPER cute. We sell these 2 sets in a digital set combo Sensational Digital Package ©

One of my most favorites to date!

I just made the base/sides from a black cardstock, then the top from red, and added some cut circles for the ladybug spots.

    So cute, and super simple!

I was very inspired by the ribbon I had picked up at the craft store.

    I ♥ this!

Can you think of any other cute critter this could be made into?

    ENDLESS gift options.

Come back tomorrow because our featured template will be the In a Cinch!
