With the recent character leap, lot of drama is happening on Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt Ltd).

As seen so far, Sandhya (Deepika Singh) has returned after four years of training, shocked to see her son Ved being spoilt by the family. There's more shocking stuff in place for her as Ved will join an international school as per his wish.

Shares a source, “Ved would be shocked by the class difference among his peers. The young guy would be left sad and upset as he will realise that he is from a very different background.”

The young guy will be in for a bigger shock when the school would announce a fancy dress competition. In order to make his father happy, Ved would dress up as Sooraj (Anas Rashid), a halwai. The confident lad's hopes would be shattered when everyone starts making fun of him in school.

How will Ved handle this situation? Will Sooraj-Sandhya help him gain his confidence?
