No longer a bachelor. Actor Anas Rashid who is best known as Sooraj from the superhit TV show, Diya Aur Baati Hum got married to Heena Iqbal in a traditional Muslim function held in his hometown of Malerkotla in Punjab. Anas wore a white sherwani while Heena wore a pink, green and blue heavily brocaded sharara with a pink veil. She wore all the adornments of a Muslim bride like the Pasha studded with stones. It also had a Punjabi flavour as she wore the red bangles with the kaliras that is a must. Heena looked stunning as did the groom.

She is an HR professional from Chandigarh and will move to Mumbai with Anas. She is 14 years younger to him. Talking to Bollywood Life, he said,"I asked Heena if she knew my age. She said I know my age, I am ready to get married to you. I am 24. She asked me if I was ready to marry her? Heena said the age gap does not matter to her. Her sister told me that I look 26."

Anas' mom was keen to see her son married for a really long time. The actor said he did like to marry before taking up a new project. He told us he was relaxed that he had finally found his life partner. He told us, "Yes, I am a relaxed man. The biggest task of finding the girl is done. My mom never disturbed me when I was working for Diya Aur Baati Hum in Mumbai. She would say that I do not wish to stress you when you are already working so hard.
