Nebras by Al-Rehab is a Floral Green fragrance for women and men.

Nebras is a fresh feminine fragrance with delicate Taif Rose and citrus note in the top, and a blend of jasmine, precious oudh, sandalwood and amber in its heart. Traditionally, Arabian perfumes are given beautiful names, and along with that Nebras would mean ‘the light’, and its nonchalant composition is light with no heavy and dark notes.
Nebras is produced as:
1. Eau de parfum spray containing alcohol, in 35ml bottle
2. Concentrated perfume oil in 3ml roll-on bottle, suitable for purse

Al-Rehab Nebras is the most pleasant shock I have ever experienced. Vivian Westwoods Boudoir is my signature fragrance and my favourite scent of all time. I didn’t believe that Nebras would be anything like it.

I mean, here in the UK, I got it on Amazon for the price of a pint of lager, ffs. I expected it to smell, at best, like a rose soap from the chemist. But, I was so wrong.
This is an amazing Boudoir dupe. It’s the same woman, but she’s given up smoking and isn’t wearing her leather jacket at the moment.

(I recommend the oil over the eau de parfum btw)
I cannot believe how elegant this extremely feminine fragrance is.
I am immediately hit with rose, carnation, bubblegum, talcum powder and Oud (which presents as a creamy balsam lotion).
After about 20 minutes, the sexy sandalwood appears, and the oud comes forward and it has bergamot with it. The rose moves into the heart with the bubblegum and there is some very naughty jasmine sprinkled around the entire affair. There is a quiet warm resin like amber opiatic base.
Like Boudoir, it has a sweet, false innocence over a sexy confident naughtiness. It has less of the juxtaposition of frilly femininity vs tough urban coolness, but it suggests it.
This continues for hours.
After a few hours, you still have the creamy balsam oud, the sandalwood, the talc, the bergamot and the carnations. The rose and the bubblegum have grown-up and mixed with the opium base into a subtle warm pink fragrance.
I never get any of the lemon, that is often mentioned. It is definitely not “light“ it is quite a strong, unapologeticly girly fragrance. and the opium, sandalwood, Jasmine and Rose gives it a mysterious darkness, one combined, that is often not mentioned.

This is the best deal, I believe, I have ever found.

The oil is superb and more close to VW Boudoir, but even after letting the spray macerate for over a year, the incredibly sweet potpourri bouquet remains suffocating, which is too much in this case. I stick to the oil version, that’s a keeper.

SKY AND SOUL

Леле- мале!!!
Странно е описан тук парфюма. Не намирам никакви розови градини...
На първо помирисване- тежък, плътен;

To say this is a £10 perfume, it's one of my favourites. It is floral freshness in one dopamine filled spray. It doesn't smell cheap in the slightest.

On me there is a floral, lemon and mint element that stays for ridiculous longevity. The sillage is also huge, so use it wisely!

Always get compliments when I wear it. Every.single.time!

The roller-ball oil version is quite good after letting it sit for 6 months. At first I didn't like the dry-down because the sweetness in it was "too thick," like a clumsy residue. But thankfully now it's a very comfortable fragrance that is floral, citrus, spice, aromatics, and human. I'd love to try Boudoir, but I do really enjoy this oil as it is. I'd like to try the spray version of Nebras too. For those who are not rose enthusiasts, this does not read as a rose perfume to me. The rose aspect is more smudged or diffuse, in a great way. Nebras is a very human scent; it works most any time, anywhere, for someone who knows love and embraces reality.

digitalolo

I Al-Rehab's Nebras (not to be confused with Lattafa's Nebras) this because many claimed this to be a good dupe of Vivienne Westwood's Budoir. I tested it as a standalone and then compared it to Budoir later on as I still had a small amount left.

As a standalone fragrance:
This was a cheap pick up from Amazon, priced at $10. I got the small perfume spray as a blind buy. Upon first spray, there was an overwhelming blast of what other reviewers have mentioned as a "grandma's bathroom soap" smell. Extremely soapy, sharp, with lots of rose, and a little bit of sweetness in the drydown. This didn't dissuade me, because most middle eastern fragrances need time to macerate after the first spray. I repeat, LET THIS FRAGRANCE MACERATE AFTER SPRAYING. I let it sit and in a week it started to develop into a very pleasant powdery scent. The soapiness disappeared and the rose took a backseat. Now I'm getting what might be orange blossom in the opening, bubblegum-y tuberose, rose, and powder in the dry down. There is also a note that I can't put my finger on that makes the fragrance smell like a breath of fresh air. The projection and silliage is astounding, I usually use 3-4 sprays. This could easily be someone's signature scent if they like sweet, powdery scents. I usually use it as a comfort scent at home or when I want to smell clean and pleasant when going out.

As a dupe:
It is pretty close to Budoir in my opinion, a less challenging version of the scent. The spicy cinnamon and earthy tobacco/orris notes from Budoir have unfortunately been removed in Nebras. Nebras is more floral and "pretty" while Budoir is more alluring in the opening. However, in the drydown they are extremely close. If you had anyone else smell them they would not recognize the difference. Projection and silliage is just as strong as Budoir and lasts for about 6-8 hours on me when I spray on clothes, sometimes even to the next day. If you have an itch for Budoir's scent profile, this dupe can definitely satisfy it.

GoldGlass

I truly cannot believe how many positive reviews I have seen online for this perfume. I bought it based on others’ recommendations and boy was that a mistake. It absolutely reeks of old lady. It’s almost enough to give me a headache. A scrubber for sure.

Misskay754

What can I say about this gem? This is an absolute POWERHOUSE that out rivals all the popular designer brands with projection, sillage and performance. Nebras lasts 12+ hours easily, for days on your clothes. A little goes a long way!

It is mysterious, elegant and smells extremely expensive. I would never tell anyone about this if they asked what I am wearing, I am her gatekeeper and there is no way I’m sharing something this good.

Perfect for cold days, as could be too sickly sweet in Summer.

Yolis

too sharp and citrusy and lemony for me

Rosiewebber

Typically I really like sweet powdery scents, but this makes me feel a bit nauseous. And this is definitely sweet and powdery, the florals are almost rose-like, and that part I could almost get on board with. But mixed with the citrus, it just smells like a bathroom cleaning product, and I can’t get past it. Not for me.

pinkclogs

smells like my grandma's vintage toilet soap with a bit of sweetness. i don't detect much rose though.

EmiliaF

I was very excited when I read the reviews because I really appreciate Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood. Unfortunately Nebras smells completely different on my skin. There's no bubblegum scent at all and the smokiness is missing. All I get is old grandma's rose hand soap unfortunately. Since some reviewers described a change in the smell of the oil within a certain time, I'm still hopeful. I'll come back in a few weeks and edit my review if something has changed indeed.

Edit:
I'm so happy to tell you guys that I can finally smell the bubble gum note! I love it! Still no smokiness but that's fine. No more grandma's rose hand soap!

rene.saller

Nebras really doesn't smell as much like rose as I expected. I definitely get the supersweet bubblegum accord, along with some indeterminate florals and some spices and woods--maybe oud and incense? I bought the concentrated perfume oil in the rollerball, and a little goes a long way. I have not yet sampled Boudoir or Organza, so I can't speak to the dupe potential. I don't regret buying this (it was less than $10 with shipping), but I don't like it as much as some of my other rose fragrances. This is just my first impression, though; I will try it again and see how my impressions evolve.

This is really weird. I keep thinking, "What if those fancy little rose soaps that middle-class grandmas used to keep in their bathrooms had a baby with incense?" or "What if they made an incense out of bubblegum"? Hours in, it's still not rose on my skin.

Update: I'm starting to find it increasingly appealing. Another commenter's comparison to Camay soap made me start smelling it in that framework, and I'm smelling tuberose and jasmine amid the bubblegum. What a crazy little attar this is!

gemeljoseph

This was eh for me. I got this in an Al Rehab house haul and this and Red Rose are my two least favorites. It’s a heavy floral with spice, wood and oud. This is not light or fresh at all. I agree with Stimky below, it does remind me of that decorative colored soap in your parent’s bathroom 😩

SugarBiscuits

These are one of those blind buy purchases I have thinking "Yeah, no. I don't need this in my life." But it's fairly cheap, so "Why Not!". Like so many others said, this is a soapy, sharp floral from start to finish. I got the oil version which is really strong to me and almost unbearable even after one light pass on the wrist. However, it is very nostalgic and had me revisiting my early days of the 7 year old me who once roamed the aisles of Kmart testing cheap perfumes. I had to scroll the reviews to see what note was teleporting me back to those days because it isn't listed above. I believe it's Carnation and Sandalwood which is triggering me. It's quite warm and closely resembles old skool Chloe and Bill Blass back in the 80s. I can't say if it's a dupe for Organza or Boudoir. I remember Organza being more complex and sweeter. This is not sweet but very sharp with lots of similarities to Neutrogena soap.

stimky

This one is not for me — it teleports me back to childhood in the worst way.

It’s giving “flower-shaped guest soap in grandma’s bathroom that I’m not allowed to touch.”

It’s giving “weird powder sachet that mommy puts in her sock drawer.”

I hoped I’d get sweet, powdery rose on the drydown. Instead, it’s stayed sharp, fake, soapy, almost peppery carnations and jasmine. Giving it to my sister to spray in her sock drawer.

valenceis

I'm still in love with this oil. I'm so glad to see others are loving it too. I purchased the spray as well and it's nice but lacks the depth of the oil. When I first got this it was a dead ringer for Boudoir to my nose, now I'm picking up more effervescent lemony citrus on top, which Boudoir definitely doesn't have. Still, it's quite beautiful and otherwise like nothing else I've ever tried.

While this perfume is absolutely one of the most beautiful and poetic I've ever smelled - especially for the price, I don't reach for it often because I struggle to find the right occasion for it. It's SUPER feminine, romantic, sophisticated and very strong...I want to wear it so much more, but I find I just don't have the occasion to smell this good! I think it's best in cold weather.

Melody Valentine

*This keeps changing for me. It went from very, very Boudoir, to pretty much Boudoir, to soapy and a bit meh, to kinda like Organza. So it's obviously more complex than the note breakdown given here. It's a decent little perfume for the price! But this is what I originally wrote*

This definitely does smell like Boudoir, at first anyway. The top notes are identical, bubblegummy florals and I even do get the tobacco just toned way down. It smells more like Boudoir than Organza does and I don't think this smells anything like Organza. The dry down is where it smells the least like Boudoir, this is more soapy compared to Boudoir which keeps the tobacco smell. Up until then I thought it was a spot on clone.

For the price of it though, it's a good deal. People will just think it's Boudoir you're wearing. Seeing as it's the top notes that it resembles so much it'd be perfect for topping up through the day or night. The clone I've got of Boudoir is an extrait so it's much stronger than this which is kind of unfair on Nebras to compare them. Plus it'll probably macerate and get stronger like a lot of my other middle eastern perfumes have (mine is the edp spray, kinda wish I'd bought the oil now)

Is it a perfect 1:1 clone? No. Will people think you're wearing Boudoir? Yes. Does it smell NOTHING like Boudoir? Absolutely ridiculous, if you say this smells nothing like it you need your nose tested. It's only side by side that the differences become more apparent. When I first sprayed it I thought it was identical. For £7 I can't complain and if it was the only available dupe I'd probably keep buying it but it's not a patch on my Eden clone but that one costs a lot more so there's pros and cons to both. It's £60 for 100ml which I think is quite expensive considering Maison Alhambra and Fragrance World do amazing clones for £15-25 for 100ml but they don't do this particular one, plus it's WAY better than any designer perfume I'd be paying more than 60 quid for so it's worth it.

All in all I'd say it's like a day time version of Boudoir. The full dry down does smell like bar soap though, the clear orangey brown ones. I'm not massively keen on that part (weirdly that part doesn't stay like that for long either, it actually does smell a bit like Organza now, as if there's a hint of the spicy nutmeg that's there in the dry down of Organza) I'd actually forgotten I'd ordered this last week and it just turned up before so it was a nice little surprise.

As it's own standalone perfume though, it's nice. If you're not buying it with the expectation of it being Boudoir then it's definitely a lovely perfume. The colour scheme doesn't really fit with the smell. This isn't green. It's pink. Like a pink puffy cloud of bubblegum and sweet powdery flowers. Very feminine.

Edit to say it's now nighttime and there's not much difference in how they performed. Boudoir is now in the creamy vanilla stage and Nebras smells pretty much the same just not as dense smelling. It's still going strong on my clothes. I might buy this again tbh and save using as much of the more expensive one.
A couple of weeks later it definitely has got stronger. I sprayed a bit on the front of my top yesterday and it was really strong. I could smell the lovely bubblegumminess all day. I really like it anyway. I've been using it as a little add on on top of other sweet perfumes to give it an extra something.

Sassafras23

My first encounter with an Arabic perfumed oil. Interesting. I think I wouldn’t have liked it if this indeed was truly similar to what it’s been compared to. This is nuclear, by the way. Why spend multiple hundreds on exclusively priced stuff and then complain about performance? Get this oil and never complain again (maybe about money burning your pocket). Why, it’s complex, with oudh and what not.

(Collection)
Oh my goodness. I ordered both oil and spray and it is freaking divine (sampled only the rollerball so far, since the bottle didn’t arrive yet).
Potent, timeless, potpourri vibes here. Suits an aristocrat likewise to a bourlesque artist or a cheeky lolita (which I am). It is galore feminine and zero tomboyish. It is a bit tamer dupe of the super sultry Boudoir lacking the tobacco note.

I also think that it really depends on aesthetic, attitude and the character of the wearer, regarding some associations, cause it can be easily dissonant due to its richness. Boudoir is more seductive yet Nebras is equal alluring. I adore it.

Update: EXTREME potpourri load, especially the spray, which doesn’t sit nicely on me, but the oil is fantastic, it has the soapiness of Boudoir, only the spice and BO accord is retained here - you can amp it up with another oil from the house which contains oud.

roxxyg

Yes, this is not a dupe for my beloved Boudoir but I do get similar vibe minus the tobacco smoky scent and more sweetness. Honestly for the pricepoint and how long it lasts on my skin I won't complain.

darkbeauty

I’m a Boudoir connoisseur and was hoping this would be a satisfying replacement for my favorite perfume ever. However sadly it is not. It’s too squeaky clean, soapy, with bubblegum florals. There is no dark and dirty notes (incense, smoke, tobacco, animal notes) in this to give it the naughty sexiness of Boudoir. NADA! It’s only upon first spray that you get a faint whiff of what could possibly be Boudoir then poof, gone after a minute or two. The drydown doesn’t resemble it at all either. Stand alone, if you like sweet bubblegum roses and florals then you will like this girl next door inoffensive scent, but if you want the femme fatale of Boudoir, give this one a pass because it will leave you yearning for more that it just can’t give.

Boudoir is a fragrance I feel will never be able to be replaced.

Toady89

I bought this after reading it was a good dupe for Vivienne Westwood Boudoir, which I absolutely love but is sadly discontinued. After receiving it I was blown away! It's very close to Boudoir, although it has a more citrus undertone to it instead of the smoky tobacco of Boudoir. It's floral, powdery, and sophisticated. It's not exactly like Boudoir but it's close enough. I really love it.

kashmirattar

Lemon and soapy pink rose over mild sandalwood. Pleasant, not mindblowing.

jomxlohx

This reminds me of classic fragrance compositions like Amarige, Ysatis and Anais Anais. Richly floral, very present (definitely not a wallflower) and vintage. This doesn’t remind me Givenchy Organza at all, it just doesn’t have that airy or floaty quality about it. There’s a synthetic tuberose which reminds me a bit of Diptyque Do Son (which I own) but overall, not as refined as the latter. A steal for £3 especially if you like classic floral aldehyde fragrances. I have the oil and it certainly lasts on the skin.

Lotte_Liese

A heavy dose of floral notes and synthetic citrus that turns powdery in the drydown. I purchased the oil version and will not be repurchasing this little intense bomb. It's too unrefined and synthetic for me to use anytime other than the winter and on my skin only at night.

TunyaPe

This lil one is cheap (got it for £3) but is KRAFT, lmao.

Nebras is a powdery+floral bomb. I recommend purchasing the oil instead of spray so you can easily rub it to quickly get past that sharp laundry opening.
After some time, you get the love child between the mid-phase of Organza (not the white floral opening or the smooth drydown) and non-aromatic Boudoir. I would say it is closer to Organza. However, this love child has fallen into a pink box of floral Fab detergent powder, is stuck there, and will stay like that for another 8-10 hours or more on the skin. 2-3 dabs are enough as it is powerhouse and polarising.

If you expect it to be a Boudoir's dupe, you will be disappointed. I, personally, just adore its quirkiness.

Grimalkin

It has take me years, to figure out what this reminds me of, and it has just dawned on me! This oil is a dead wringer, for Bob Mackie's signature fragrance. If you do not like radiant tuberose, or gardenia, this is not for you! This is a radiant, warm, sweet, indolic, spicy, musky floral.

Stardust 25

At first I wasn’t sure about this one but after about half an hour is started to improve .. a nice inoffensive oil . Quite powdery but pleasant .

adoh

I have the rollerball oil version of this perfume. I was surprised at the listed notes - all I get is roses and powder. Lovely nevertheless, with good projection and impressive longevity. I originally bought it to compare with Vivienne Westwood's Boudoir, which I have. There is a strong soapiness I get with Nebras that is absent in my vintage bottle of Boudoir, which I didn't find so prominent until I compared them side by side. Not as sexy as Boudoir. You'll be disappointed if you want something exact or are specifically looking for that sex smell of Boudoir.

sm3llycat

Bought the oil as a Boudoir dupe. To me it's missing the smokiness to be an actual dupe. It only ever really smells like Boudoir 8 hours after application. I don't know if the edp spray bears stronger resemblance to Boudoir. Maybe I'm going to try that one as well.
Either way, this is a beautiful fresh and rosy scent, which I adore! Just not quite Boudoir...

millyb

Nebras starts out of the gate running, opening with intense floral notes almost overwhelmingly sweet. It dries down a symphony of rose, jasmine, and citrus, leaving a fresh scent that lingers long after first spray. Perfect for day-wear, Nebras invites mornings on-the-town and coffee with friends.

cherrywns

like many others, i was pleasantly surprised by this perfume. what a beautiful scent! there is an exotic quality to it, a spa parlour i visited while in bali comes to mind.

Anamandy

I can't believe I have this for two years and last night was the first full wearing. I received it with a bunch of other perfumes, did one spray in the air, said, "Nice," stuck it in the cabinet, then proceeded to forget all about it.. That's when you know you have way too many perfumes. LOL! Oh well, I'm going to make up for my neglect of this beauty from here on out. It is soooooooooo lovely. A gorgeous dreamy perfume of what I envision are big pink roses with bubblegum tuberose on a lovely powdery base. I won't go further into the notes because so many here already did it, but I did want to mention that if you do get this perfume to take care as a little goes a long way. It can seem deceptive on first spray, but body temperature releases this fragrance and it gets stronger as the scent progresses. I used 3 sprays last night and had to take some off as I started to asphyxiate myself. I'm almost sorry I didn't get an oil as one spray is almost one spray too much. The most amazing thing about this scent is the price. I don't smoke but I believe a pack of cigarettes probably costs more than a bottle of this perfume, so you'll certainly get your money's worth with this one. Fantastic silage and longevity too. I swear, I've tried niches that didn't perform half as well or smell half as nice. Considering the price differences, that's crazy. So, if you are a big floral lover, especially of rose and tuberose scents, this is one to try. I highly recommend it!

wattie

Extremely potent potpourri fragrance. I dabbed the rollerball on my wrist at 8am this morning, still stinks 15 hours later. *Edit* 3 months later, and many Al-rehab rollerballs later, I realized this is one of the best, and I won't have it out of my collection now. It is an extremely potent fragrance, and it's kind of like potpourri, but also bewitching and potent fragrance. I recommend Very Very sparing application, or layering with another perfume. I'm not sure how it is as a spray. I actually mixed it with the lackluster perfumed bin liner scented 'red rose', and put half each in each rollerball, and I'm very happy with the result.

holly_eva

The citrus doesn't actually smell like normal citrus to me when combined with these floral notes. Instead, the citrus comes off as a half-chemical/acidic cleaner scent and the floral notes come off very powdery- like a rose scented baby powder. Overall, it made me think of diapers- not dirty ones but a fresh pack of clean diapers. While this isn't a disgusting smell, it's definitely not something I would want to smell like. I can't say I wouldn't get it if I were you, however, because it's so cheap/ affordable that you might as well try it and see if you have a totally different impression than I did.

lovesick

a rosy enfleurage on intaglio glass. rudden grenadine glowing in amber. pale pink petals melting over powdered sugar. oil pastel-stained hands unfastening a leather clasp. pantyhose stretched over a camera lens, hazy glamor dreams of a lost age, dewy skin in diffused light.

opening with a fresh burst of lemon crowning a jammy rose, nebras is deceptively innocent in its beginning, with hidden tricks up her sleeve. dabbing the oil onto my wrists, i was pleased, but confused by how little the saccharine scent seemed to project, contrasting with everything i had read about it being a powerhouse; however, the longer the oil warmed up on my skin, the stronger it became. perfectly sweet and floral from the get-go, i'm initially reminded of rose jam by lush with a subtle vintage flair of pink powder and sparkling aldehydes. bright orange blossom and jasmine grandiflorum take the place of citrus and, within minutes, my body heat quickly begins to unlock nebras' secrets: animalic notes unfurl alongside flowers—warm civet unleashed, caressing bubblegummy tuberose and milky narcissus. bright red carnations spring from turkish delights sprinkled in powdered sugar and cinnamon, parting painted lips. tea-like tobacco, fresh from a carton of cigarettes, spills into a leather purse, jouncing with choward's violet mints. hints of dirty vanilla waft from skin. the base consists of smooth sandalwood, gentle powder, and fluffy musk, truly adding to the sense of nebras being a pink cloud like many others have described it as.
oddly enough, i find the deep drydown quite similar to that of 'sex and the sea' by francesca bianchi, so creamy and animalic with reverberating sweetness.

songs for nebras: kitchen witch by ariel pink, icacat by hot chang, overdose of roses by gertie, pandora by cocteau twins, pass this on by the knife.

pinkstate

Potent lemon mixed with roses. I really like it!

Why oh why have I never reviewed this??
This is just sumptuous! Very yummy.
Now I have to agree, I definitely feel this is a mix of Boudoir, and Organza. Which makes it quite unique. Because, it’s really on a class all of its own.
I’ve worn this attar oil ( version) over many years now. I did once purchase the spray. And I really was not keen on it. It was so overwhelming and too sweet.
Somehow the oil, feels more warm, and softer. Not weaker. Because this is very strong indeed.
But this leans more feminine, IMHO. It lasts and lasts.
I have a beautiful scent memory I would like to share.
Around 6 years ago, whilst I was living in London. It was quite a dull day, the Winter was really dragging. It was really quite miserable.
Well me and my partner, we decided to go for a very long walk.
We ended up sitting in a coffee shop. Where we both sipped on our Hot chocolates , to warm us up. I was looking out the window, and wondering when will the Sun come back.
When I suddenly noticed this warm, sweet very comforting trail, wafting up. Well it was where I had applied my perfume oil. To the backs of my lower legs. It made me think of the Sun, the dawning of Spring, that awaits us , after the long dark night of the Soul. The feeling of hope, that emerges from the stillness of the long winter.
It’s simply a very optimistic perfume IMHO. And reawakens one’s sense of optimism for happier days to come.
Comforting, sensual, alluring, bright and sunny. Are what comes to mind.

Boudoir -ish
If you were to fill a half-full bottle of Boudoir with Organza parfum and Formula 10.0.6 Deep Pore Cleanser, you would have Nebras.
Vivienne Westwood Boudoir is my signature scent, and I actually do like Nabras. Is it a poor girls Boudoir? YES!
I just got .2 oz of pure parfum for pocket change; $2.51! That is 9.5x cheaper (per oz) than my last purchase of Boudoir.
For the price, this is fantastic!
Like Boudoir, Nebras is romantic, dreamy and unapologetically feminine. Bubble gum, roses and spice. But where Boudoir is sassy and naughty, Nebras is soapy and nice.
I don't get any of the forbidden Viburnum Boudoir has or the silver screen star make-up powder.
Nebras is less confrontational and has a more submissive sweetness to it. It's less indolic. Nebras is as powerful as Boudoir, but not as exciting or brazen.
Nebras is an undemanding cheap date; Boudoir is absolutely not.

The dry-down is more Organza. Lots of Geraniol and Coumarin and an aloe like watery smell.
If you love Boudoir, you will really like Nebras. For the price, it won't hurt to try.

PS: I have heard some people refer to Boudoir as "old fashioned" or "old lady" perfume. Look...the perfume is only 22 years old. My 2nd favourite perfume is 102, Mitsouko. That sweet candy smell was not associated with perfume before the 80s. Viburnum was used in perfume, for the 1st time, in 1998. The year a perfume was created doesn't make it lose it's allure. You may be ageist, which is a shame. Regardless of that, nobody in a seniors home smells like anything like Boudoir, so Shhhh!

otreasureo.1

This reminds me of a bar soap from the 80s/early 90s. Actually it quite smells likes the classic Neutrogena Original Facial Soap bar... intensified. You get the rose. You get the jasmine. You get the sandalwood. You get the amber. If you let this sit, it all turns into a powdery soap scent which is sometimes pleasing, but I'm really not into smelling like a 1980s hotel room. Want to like this more, but I'm going to have to toss this one. :(

Gemsense

This fragrance favors warm weather. I love old fashioned florals, theyre very comforting. This is a fix for that craving and its quite addicting and alluring in a very innocent way. Sunshine, open fields, wild flowers, citrus groves, freedom, summertime... Introspective. I think Jessica Mcclintock fans would enjoy this one.

Pricosor_1

Very upset because on me this lasts no more than 3 hours. Aftet the first hour it is a skin scent.
But it is indeed very lovely. I also feel the Camay soap smell - which i find very nice.
Unfortunately for me this is not an Organza dupe. It does have a slight vibe indeed but it' noooo way near the complexity and elegance of Organza. This one is a cute perfume, nice Camey smell, very feminine. I would have really wanted this to be stronger, but it is not. Not even on clothes :(
But for the price it' s a worthy experience.

DragonDonuts99

My very first blind purchase for Arabian-style perfumes. I was searching online for a rose perfume, this came up so I figured I’d buy it.

Smells nothing like the Rose note I’d hoped for, but was pleasantly surprised nonetheless. A dusty pink rose, followed by a geranium-citrus and delicate wood. It’s a very relaxing female scent.

It’s somewhat mature, but turns heads of all ages. People seem to gravitate towards it, it has quite a pull. The oil is way better than the spray.
Some people say it smells like “Boudoir” and some people claims it smells like the old Camay soap. Reminds me of the “1900’s” in a good way.

drugstore classics

Absolutely agreed.

This IS somewhat like Organza and other florientals with animalic notes in the base. You simply have to wait for it. It took me two years, because I rashly sent on my sample to someone else, noting it only smelled of bubblegum! No. Nebras is sophisticated and lovely, with a pink tuberose/bubblegum opening. Highly recommended to all who love 90's style florientals - if you are patient! :)

evilscent

I’m getting: bubblegum toothpaste (if you were a kid in the 90’s), ivory soap, something feminine and classy..... I like the composition and would recommend it for vintage lovers. I didn’t try this for awhile because the descriptions reminded me of Putain des Palaces, which I own. But they’re nothing alike.

mldaleali28

Very synthetic, but what was I expecting for this price... I can smell a very vague similarity to Organza, I don’t know Budoir so I can’t say. It’s unwearable for me, way too plasticky.
L.E. It reminds me of pink bubblegum. Not even my 9yo wants it lol.
Even later edit: I retract everything I said previously: this perfume IS a dupe of Organza, IF you have the patience to not scrub it off and wait for about 30-40 minutes. The plasticky notes evaporates and you’re left with a decent dupe of Organza. Well, that’s amazing.

Chinello23

Personally not a fan :(
Smells like an old ladies' toilet to me. Not at all the sexy feminine fragrance I was hoping for. However, for the price - I'm not too upset!

Dreamybomm

This is one of those wow perfumes for me. I can't speak of Boudoir, but I love this so much. Its very strong, and has that certain creamy, beauty product feel I've been searching for. I I haamped that up by layering it with Al Rehab Soft and I'm extremely happy. I ordered it with Organza hopes but it doesn't remind me much of that. Not mad by any means though, its a nice enormous scent in a tiny bottle. Lasts for hours, mixes well with several other perfumes I've tried. No harsh wood or other base notes. If I had to complain, I would wish a bit more vanilla or whatever the creamy note is. It Can give you a headache if you use too much. But that means the roller will last a long time.

Deviedawl

Thank you all who have mentioned that this closely resembles Boudoir. I just received a rollerball and it was uncanny as soon as I unscrewed the lid. I'm beyond thrilled. I miss Boudoir so much, but can't quite bring myself to spend the big bucks on it. This will keep me happy.

So pleased with the intensity, longevity, and sillage. Quality blend and cheaper than iced coffee.

While it is without the bodily musk in Boudoir, it has enough spice from the black pepper carnation note to really qualify as a close dupe.

Tovah

Very beautiful! As I get whiffs of it my mind goes to Boudoir memories, and sometimes, slightly, Safari. It smells expensive, which makes the bargain price a happy surprise. I find this to be extremely long-lasting, and it has a lot of personality.

ShoGirl

Floral, fresh and pleasant; sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Pungent; great bang for buck. There's definitely light rose and a little jasmine in there, along with lemon and I maybe get a little bit of the amber after it settles, there's something in there to warm it up and round it out a bit but it's still very flowery-flowery overall. Quite feminine and pretty but not particularly in a standout or memorable way. I can understand why Fragrantica members like to use some of these El Rehab oils to layer with other things, to create more personality, and at a couple of quid, why not!

Jabouba

This is a beautiful one very similar to organza, not exactly the same.

wattie

Crikey this is pungent, got the 6ml rollerball on eBay very cheap on the strength of the reviews on here saying it was fruity and floral, I love a modern fruity floral scent like most of those by Ghost etc. However people are right this feels very 80's, it doesn't have a masculine scent, but there is quite a bit of musk to it, can't really discern any fruits and mostly it's like being whacked on the face repeatedly by a giant bouquet of flowers, apply sparingly! Or use it to fill up a diffuser as I have done.

mirrorghost

i am testing the oil, and was interested in this when i saw the comparisons to boudoir. i can totally see that, except i think this is a bit sweeter, if memory serves. it's a sheer pink floral with something softly musky and powdery. wafting from afar, it smells exactly like boudoir. close up it's a bit different but still quite close. i am wondering if there is lotus in this, to add that sort of bubblegum note? maybe lotus and hyacinth. i am unsure, but it smells lovely.

ViouAmara

I was a little afraid of this blind buy, reading it was strong and almost agressive, but I chose the oil and it’s not at all ! It’s sweet orangey citrus, delicately powdered by sugar, and a watercolor pink flower. Absolutely delicious, beautiful, feminine, I love this stuff. Yes it’s potent but it’s not shocking, it’s radiant.
Babydoll scent.

Seaworthy

Nebras is a floral first and foremost to my nose, distantly followed by a rather soapy citrus scent. Quite pleasant! I am really enjoying the quality and longevity of my Al-Rehab fragrances. The Roller balls are easy and convenient for reapplication throughout the day but the lasting power of these fragrances means that you really won't have to reapply very often.

SailorV

Similar to Boudoir, but not a true dupe. Nebras is more floral and doesn't have the bodily notes that many, including me, find in Boudoir. It's cleaner.
This is clearly a modern scent with a retro touch thanks to the aldehydic, soap-bubbly top and the floral heart with its strong carnation note. Carnations are such lovely flowers and should be used in modern perfumery more often, but sadly they aren't.
The base consists of powder and vanillic amber. I also smell a dollskin-like note akin to heliotrope, a dash of sandalwood and some uplifting citruses throughout the wearing. Everything melts together to a very romantic, sweet and feminine scent like olfactory pastel colors. That does not mean that Nebras is light, it's quite intense like everything I tried from this brand. Just soft and powdery in character. After a quick development it stays the same for many hours, even over night.

The notes listed on the site I got my sample from are more thorough than those on fragrantica and make more sense to me:
Top - citrus, floral notes
Heart - roses, carnation
Base - jasmine, amber, sandalwood
I have only tried the EDP spray and can't speak of the oil.

entropygirl

checking the going price for boudoir after seeing my own bottle nearing empty scared me into my nebras purchase. what i thought would be spray bottle for $10 turned out to be 6 rollerballs at an arabic store on atlantic avenue in brooklyn. the smell is unbelievable for the price point. it has the same distinct warmth as boudoir, but more floral leaning. it is incredibly heavy and long-lasting. so much so that after my head hit the pillow at 2 am on new years, i had to get back up again to scrub my pulsepoints so i could stop being overwhelmed by the scent. events like this started to happen far too often, though, as i swear it started to hurt my throat :-/ the 5 additional rollerballs all made lovely gifts, though~

ThatJacquiOne

I know this is a really nice perfume, and the first few times I wore it, I loved it.

But when I bought it, I was recently pregnant, and my love of it soon turned to horror as I swiftly associated it with morning sickness.

I got a few lovely compliments wearing it, too.

But, much as I think it's really nice, I can't shake the association, and I'm giving it to a friend who will appreciate it more than me, as she doesn't have the same association as me.

PerfumedParrot

I’m been meaning to get my hands/nose on Nebras for years as I’m a rose lover, but right now, I’m recoiling from the initial sweet blast. It smells like the bottom of a white paper bag which once held sweets, it’s that fizzy, sherbety, candy-sugar sting of boiled sweet dust.
This lemon sherbet powder scent is giving me diabetes. Way too synthetically sweet, the natural florals cannot grow amidst the sweetness toxicity.

churinl

I just received the attar today. I tried it an smelled something lightly citrus with a soft, powdery floral peeking through after 10-15 minutes. Very pleasant. My nose must be tired though, because it was difficult for me to smell much and yet others described it as being very potent. Well it's definitely me, ch when I asked my husband what he thought, he said "Nice, but very strong - I could smell it in the other room!" Glad I had him there to tell me before I wore it in public. I'll give my nose a few days to catch up, but in the meantime I can already tell the value far exceeds the cost! To be continued...
EDIT - hours later and my fatigued nose can finally enjoy this beautiful attar. My nose is practically glued to my wrist and I'm tempted to add another drop! This is, without a doubt, the loveliest fragrance less than $10 that I have ever experienced. Highly recommended to anyone that loves florals.

Interesting - I was wearing TF Noir pour Femme this evening, when all of a sudden I started to crave Nebras. I dabbed some of the oil on my wrist and I am loving the combination!! It's hard to explain other than Nebras brings some light to NpF's dark, and vice versa. I also own the NpF body lotion and think that will work equally well, if not better!

elledeelee

Overwhelmingly strong and sharp to begin with. Sometimes I have to really psyche myself up to spray this one just so I can make it through the first ten minutes. Thankfully the payoff comes pretty quickly as it settles into a powdery rose with citrus undertones. Nebras is indeed very similar to Boudoir, but not as deeply, raunchily sexy - she is Boudoir's flowerier but somehow brasher and less refined younger sister. This is a like, whereas Boudoir is an all-time favourite. Nebras is nice to wear during the day, I feel like a mature hippy in it.

mamehaviolette

So, let´s review this tiny gem of the Al Rehab Lot I bought on EBay :)

Oil Version: It starts like a loud, so sweet Aldehyde Bomb, with loads of carnation. After ten minutes or so, this will settle to a very powdery composition, the Aldehydes remaining in what many of other fellow fragranticans described as a "Bubblegum Smell". The 80es vibe is there, indeed, I would personally say, that if you like the classic Gloria Vanderbilt´s "Vanderbilt", you will like this one as well.

I like it a lot, I think though this will smell even more beautifully in the colder months :)

EDIT/PS: I can´t detect any citrus notes, this is moderate on me in both sillage and lasting power

UnearthlyApothecary

Another surprisingly wonderful Al Rehab dupe! This smells sooo close to Boudoir! Spicy carnation and bubblegum white florals. The silage is huge! I would have loved Boudoir but for some reason my skin amped this gross uncomfortable fishy note. Nebras is all of the good and none of the bad :D

Dimma

I have to say, that in the bottle and for the first half an hour or so, she's real rough.. Like lemon-scented dishwashing liquid and gasoline or paint thinner.. oof!

But eventually the harsh, chemical notes disappear and the citrus mellows down, while the previous undercurrent of bubblegum white florals (tuberose/tiare as i know it from YR's Monoi oil) and powdery carnation starts to bloom forth <3

adriana.menocal

Smells exactly like Boucheron Jaipur, which is interesting given that Jaipur is meant to be more of a spice scent but this oil has no spice in it.

I would say that the smell is heavy on the Amber and carnation, but in a pleasant way.

salman.jr.

the smell is like milk tea mixed with a little lime juice.

drugstore classics

Ptilda says it all beautifully! My impression of this iconic Arabian has altered dramatically from my first try until a few years later. First, all I could smell was sweet pink bubblegum. Literally!

Not long after, I changed my mind quite a bit. Even now, half a decade later, I am noticing things I didn't before. The leather vibe underneath, noticeable in the right weather, is amazing. Yes, Nebras is to me in the same family as JPG Classique and quite like a sister of Boudoir. If either of those appeal to you, give Nebras a (patient!) try. There is more here than meets the nose at first acquaintance. :D

Molly Smith

This smells like citrusy floral caramel. Too harsh for my liking.
UPD. I gave it another try in warmer weather, and it smells better. Still a lot of the citrus floral overly sweet lolly vibe, especially when smelt close up, but the projected scent is nicer. Still too sweet for my liking, I think one can find more pleasant and complex perfumes of this type. I'd go for Balkis which I much prefer.

tittertat

Ive had this for some time but been wearing it a few days this winter. Its very light pretty and cheerful. I agree the notes are conducive to a happy mood. Wearing the oil you only need a bit( idk about the spray). If you dont like oud dont be afraid this note is barely discernable. Subtle citrus, jasmine amber and to my nose, peony. Powdery too. I would describe this as somewhat soapy too and bubbly.
My boyfriend commented that he likes it and my mom *didnt* say she hates it lol, rare for her. Probably nicest in spring but i needed a reminder it wont be winter forever.

Feb 2019
So I've had this beauty for a while, and wanted to update my review. I actually have the small 3ml rollerbottle, because I gave the bigger one to my Mother-in-law. This is just such a gorgeous scent. Every time I revisit it, I'm impressed at the depth and beauty. It's definitely a bit sweet, a bit powdery, and a good dose of florals.

To me, it's rather harmless and almost universally pleasing, but I don't think it's what I would call "safe." Not because people wouldn't like it (duh, I just said its universally pleasing), but because it's a fragrance that is rather unexpected and doesn't smell cheap or typical.

Instead,it has a sophistication and sensual (but not sexual) feeling to it. It's really the perfect snuggle scent. I can imagine wearing this on a second or third date to a nice wine dinner, where he has to lean in a bit to catch your scent, but it's definitely worth his trouble. If you catch my drift. :)

Sept 2016
I am both humored and annoyed at Al-Rehab's lack of correct notes.

This is so much more!

Now I have not tested Boudoir, but this is exactly what it smells like... The dressing room of a naughty lady. The most surprising (and thrilling) note I get is Cabochard-esque leather! Leather covered in roses, powder, and a little bit of feminine must. But leather is unmistakable to my nose.

This opens with an explosion, but as is the case with most Al-Rehabs, it quickly settles into my skin and becomes a beautiful, classic, feminine, slightly sweet fragrance. Very different from my first experience with this scent. Now that I have more experience, I am a bit more apt to identify and appreciate the notes.

A definite winner!

woodlandwalk

Gosh, yes it IS nice, and so inexpensive!

This reminds me of lemon and rose Turkish delight, with a touch of Camay soap (no longer made). The soapiness is that spicy carnation hot soap effect, as opposed to peppery or clovey. Jasmine is noticeable - a slightly green subtly animalic note.

The other perfume it reminds me of is the lovely Camellia by Aroma M - feminine, floral but somehow different, it has subtle depth but I for one am happy not to have heavy vanilla or patchouli in the mix.

The drydown is a soft sandalwood floral musk, but it stills retains that citrus/sherbet fizz others have mentioned.

Goes into my definite likes, possibly love. It is quite strong when first applied, but fades down within half an hour. I'm wearing it in winter cold weather and it's not loud in cooler climes, but once you're back indoors it emerges again with warmth.

Can't believe I spent so little for this very pleasing and pretty perfume!

tizzy202

Finally bought the oil as well! I only had the spray before. I would definitely recommend buying the oil! Not only does it last/project longer but also I think the fragrance is more sophisticated. I think the spray is a bit “screechy” at the beginning but the oil is perfect. It’s very floral and smells very clean like you’ve just finished a fragrant shower!

drugstore classics

In answer to previous questions, Nebras is INDEED much stronger in oil form than in 'natural perfume spray' formulation, which to me is more of a cologne strength than edp. I prefer almost everything from Al Rehab in oil format for this reason - it's just so much better value. Shipping costs are generally lower buying oils too. And as if that weren't enough incentive, you can fit (at a conservative count) 50 or more oils into one shoebox. Whereas by comparison it takes a massive amount of space to store any regular size perfumes of that number.

In short, Budget Arabian Perfume oils are great for people who have limited space or cash to indulge their love of exotic variety!

lunarambrosia

This *strongly* smells of bubblegum upon application. So much so that I find it a bit repulsive. But just when I was tempted to dismiss it, I returned to my arm, and suddenly... the bubblegum has died down, and what remains is a delightfully femme white floral. If I can just ignore it for the first half hour, this scent might have some promise for me. We'll see.
Edit: nope, had to toss.

tizzy202

I only have the spray version - it’s a nice floral but isn’t long lasting and neither does it have good sillage. Maybe the oil is much better? Can someone who has the oil as well as the spray tell us which one is better (in terms of scent, sillage and longevity). Thanks!

Sabretoothkitten

I have had this for a while but only worn it a few times. Smelling from the bottle might seem a bit sharp but once you apply it, it's a lot more mellow. It's all encompassingly girlie, pretty and non offensive. You could wear this almost anywhere and it wouldn't seem out of place( office, date, wedding). For the price its great and one of the better Al Rehabs. I smell some kind of citrus opening + Jasmine and other flowers, and it's rather effervescent though not specifically adelhydic I do not detect any oud/ outh.. Reminds me of Tresor, Boudoir and J'adore but not a dupe.
If you like Boudoir but find it too animalic or Tresor but it's too dated try this. It's so inexpensive and I think 80% of people will like it.

cumulnimbus

Whenever I use this perfume I get compliments. It seem to be more attractive to others than to myself, I like it but perfumes focused on rose are always a bit difficult for me, specially when they are sweet and fruity.

SagaSniffs

Oh, my word. This is a Beauty! I have worn it during spring and summer, and this is a transforming gem, giving away more noticable scents of carnation the hotter it gets. Otherwise, I detect peony, lovely, fruity notes and some other, yummy notes I can’t identify. Stays pretty linear on my skin. Incredible longevity. My husband also loves this perfume, which is a plus. A feminine and elegant scent, and at bargain price - 10/10 from me!

Violinplayah

This smells like Istanbul! Its the minty star jasmine flowing over the doorways and rose gardens in the summer sun. Just lovely!

artsyrn

I am wearing Nebras today and can not believe I have never written a review yet for this unusual gem.
My first impression is candied flowers, but there develops so much more. There is a distinct vintage vibe I am supposing is from the very distinct powdery notes and possibly a bit of carnation. I am reminded just a little of Organza at times, though this is really so different. There is also an almost zippy freshness to this scent, the entire effect becomes almost gourmand and mouthwatering, which is quite an impressive feat for a floral based scent to achieve.

Le Knows

The girl I love wears Nebras. The scent is so deeply linked with positive, happy, sexy, loving feelings that it's impossible to separate the fragrance from the girl. So, given that bias, the best I can do is to enthusiastically recommend Nebras as a sensual adjunct to anyone in love.

vintagelover

You can not fault this. And the price??!! :o Remarkable.

greyhoundmom

I can't say enough good things about this gem of a bargain fragrance. Nebras was my first foray into Arabian oils and I only bought it because I saw it compared to Womanity. It's nothing like Womanity, but it is a great dupe for Boudoir. In fact, I love Nebras way more than Boudoir. It's fresher thanks to an added citrus note, but still musky and sensual.

Big, warm, powdery florals surround you in a heavenly cloud all day and all night. Seriously the projection and longevity on this little $5 oil are insane. I put one dab on each wrist and it's more than enough. This stuff outperforms nearly all of my other perfumes. I swear Al Rehab is an amazing fragrance house.. I don't understand how they can pack so much quality into such a bargain but they do!

Anteatereatingant

Another Al-Rehab gem.

A strong, sweet yet fizzy floral - mostly rose and citrus. The citrus makes it fresher and more peppy, as rose can be a bit 'old' or 'old school romantic'. It projects very well and lasts 10+ hours on clothes.
Fun and sweet, although not completely silly or girly, could potentially be unisex although it's more feminine than masculine.

Overall excellent value for money and perfect for a spring/autumn floral perfume.

charlotteding

Ye it does smell just like boudoir but cheaper and longer lasting

AntigoneAscending

This is my third Al-Rehab and my first success with this brand.
This one is lovely.
I have this in an oil and the first whiff is mostly bitter citrus with a slight hint of flowers. But it quickly becomes a pink, powdery, flowery cloud. So, so pretty!! It smells a bit vintage, in the best way. The way that brings to mind my grandma sitting at her vanity, powdering her face and neck with Chantilly or White Shoulders dusting powder.
It smells sweet too. While hanging out with my family this past weekend, my aunt (the same aunt who asked me if I was drinking in the car when I wore Drew Barrymore's Radiant Flower to Christmas ....hahaha!) looks around the room and said "Does anyone else smell cotton candy?" It was the Nebras. It is not sickeningly sweet in a way that hurts your teeth it just smells kinda warm and yummy. This one is amazing!

Shugenja

This tickles my nose like champagne. Bubbly. I would love to meet a woman wearing Nebras.

princesspeach95

i definitely get a pink flowery bubblegum vibe from this. there's a soft spice to it that really grounds it. pink, fluffy clouds = my ultimate happy place image and i see what people are saying when they say this smells like pink clouds!

i've noticed with all the al rehab perfumes i've tried that they really shine in the dry down! sometimes the openings can be too strong for me and i need to wait for it to calm down to enjoy it. i like to apply these oils an hour before i need to leave to go out (if i'm wearing them out! i wear them inside too.) to really let the smell develop. :)

honestly i got this oil months ago and have left it untouched since i have a bad habit of using a lot. i took it out again to experiment yesterday. just a dab without rolling of the roller ball is perfect since otherwise i'm overtaken by the smell and almost feel sick. this is definitely not weak stuff. i plan on getting the spray version because i love it so much now.

Danielle79

This, this is what I like in a feminine fragrance! This is so pretty and I think the pink cloud that people have described is spot on. You truley feel like you’re in your own fabulous bubble of perfume. I didn’t get girlie girl till my older years I’m 38 now and I find that this scents suits me just fine. It’s a very strong scent I literally only put 3 small dabs and I could smell this all around me. So I will go very lightly with this. I love this floral power house it makes me feel so good to wear this, the powdery drydown is so nice and it’s still floral just with a touch of powder. So good!

I’m so happy I bought a backup of this as I can see myself and I have been wearing it non stop since I got it. For 5$ I’m just so happy with this womanly heaven. If I were 16 and found out about this me and my girlfriends would of been all over this trying to act older than our years. This is a good one to own from Al Rehab if you like a florals and very western in my opinion. I adore everything about it and am so happy others enjoy this type of fragrance as well. Namaste’.

Side note: I purchased the Nebras 35ml spray and this its even more like Boudoir than the oil IMO. Also the spray lasts a very long time if I spray it on my clothes it lasts for days. So I think this spray is better than the other al rehab sprays. Plus I layer this with the oil and it lasts even longer that way. I just wanted to add that this edp lasts longer than most. :)

aerone

This has legendary sillage and longevity that I wish all my perfumes have. Fortunately the fragrance is beautiful otherwise you're gonna wait for days, short of washing your clothes, for it to come off. I applied it on my skin and the scent clung onto my clothes. Days later my clothes still smelled as if I just applied the oil that day.

Vivavoice

Just amazing! next to Red Rose, its the best Al Rehab I have tried. I know what some reviewers are saying about it being a complete composition that smells like there ought to be so many more ingredients in it. Rose supreme with some earthy warmth that is not too sweet if applied very sparingly. got 2 6ml oils for less than 4 pounds. Its a win win on every level for me. Will order the even more economical 6 pack - great for Xmas present fillers

electricmind

I've been wearing the past few days and at the same time I've been trying to wrap my mind around what I'm smelling. To be concise, it smells good. VERY GOOD.

The citrus that other people smell is very light. More like an undertone that makes the strong floral pop.

Here are some words that describe this to me:
Candied flowers
Powder
Jasmine

It's very feminine, but at the end of the day it has a note can be masculine, or at least unisex. I really love this. It evolves all day. Every time I sniff my wrist or in my shirt some other note stands out.

Flowers? Definitely. There is some light musk, or something else I smell, too.

It's truly a beautiful fragrance. I'm wearing it during a pretty warm and humid summer. I feel womanly and sensual. I'm looking forward to seeing how it transforms during the cooler months.

Rosie Cotton

I have way too many bottles of perfume. This is the one my daughter picks for me to wear. It is a scent so complete that it is almost a place. It isn't just that the perfume is strong- it is- but it makes this gorgeous little bubble in which to go about your day.

This reminds me of Madonna's Truth or Dare. It isn't a dupe. Nebras is brighter and fresher. ToD is plenty big but Nebras is bigger. There is big rose sitting on tuberose. It's not listed bu it's there. There is some citrus, but it is juice, not peel and just a little juice at that. There is a woody ambery base.

If you stood in a wood-paneled hall in a grand English estate with a grand bouquet of flowers, it might smell like this. Old and new and fresh and sweet and bright and earthy and perfect.

sophiesnose

This is BEAUTIFUL!!!! But she is STRONG! I will go a little lighter next time. Oh my, she's perfect. This may be in my top 10. Floral and spicy I really like it.

Soofiya

I received six alrehab perfumes from my lovely friend lalehrokh as a gift and I'm truely impressed.they're all so good that it's very difficult to choose one as best
Nebras has a retro vibe.it's mature in the best way possible and has a glamorous vintage thing.not too mature for a 26 year old woman like me.it feels just right, ofcourse not as a casual daily scent as it's full of class, elegance and feminity.unfortunately I've never tried boudoir so I can't compare them,I also don't know anything similar still I find nebras very familiar and nostalgic.it's categorized as a floral green but it's not green to my nose, also not really citrusy.it's a reddish pink, sweet floral powder puff which smells heavenly!
There's definitely rose in it but I can't guess other notes, probably some oris?moss?musk?ylangylang?maybe amber?some fruits?woody notes?I can't call it an Arabic scent, not really.I hate oud and I'm very happy that I can't detect any oud in it.nebras is a super gorgeous, stunning, exquisite powdery floral well rounded by right amounts of Oriental and chypre notes.it's unique, sexy, unforgettable and I love it to the point that I'm hooked!
Mine is a 35mil spray bottle which has great longevity and amazing projection.I can't name it heavy as there's lovely softness going on here,I'd better call it strong.it's wearable year round, both days and nights in case you apply right amount of it.better for special occasions.I definitely will repurchase it since I want to have it always as a part of my collection.unfortunately it's very difficult to find in my country(though it seems strange as we're geographicly close to Arab countries)but my friend has most alrehabs and sells them for less than 10$,an unbelievable bargain!
Nebras isn't everyone's cup of tea,I can see that but if you're into classic floral scents you'd love it
I can't get enough of this sweet powdery mist around me.it smells great.I'd love to try all alrehab perfumes I can find as I like all this six one I own now
Highly recommended

Very similar to TESORI L'ORIENTE to me! Love both of them, very very sexy! It's earthy, sweet n playful! Naughty play that is...

Nebras is a feminine fragrance. Citric rose opening followed by a fluffy pink feathered face puff of creamy florals. Such a boudior ladylike scent. I wish more ladies rocked this to heighten their feminity were so sorely lacking. Its cute! Just an fyi.. The oil roll on has more of a rose and bubblegum tuberose while the spray doesnt have as much if the tuberose note. Ill add al rehab full to add a jasmine to balance out the florals or mix it with soft for a pretty gourmand floral

tiababy

One of the sexiest fragrances I have ever smelled. Lush powdery carnation and rose, soft spice, and a touch of skank. Projects beautifully, like a fluffy pink cloud.

Goneja

Nebras is like an olfactory oxymoron to me. I get dirty laundry detergent. Not a terrible perfume, just not for me. I hope it isn't really too similar to VW Boudoir because I want that one and expect some serious skank but this is more like clean female sweat skank. Yeah Nebras may be a little dirty but it's also pretty virginal. Like a young woman went on a jog and covered the mild funk with a soapy floral perfume.

vkmcewen

I just got the 6ml oil roll on and wore this yesterday. I haven't tried Boudoir, but I was hoping for something close to Guess (wore that in high school). Besides, this one got so many rave reviews that I had to try it. This was very floral and nothing like Guess. It smelled very familiar though and actually seemed like a blend of Estee Lauder Beautiful and Dior J'adore to me, both of which I've worn extensively. It was a bit loud and 'older' smelling to me so definitely requires only light application. It's not a 'love' for me, but I might wear it occasionally.

Andreab969

AND... Nebras just made it to my top 5. Perfume collectors know how hard it is to pick just 5 from one's collection! I've worn it all weekend and am amazed by it. I love the scent, but the wondrous thing about Nebras is that IT LOVES ME! I've never been "hugged and kissed" by a fragrance before. Nebras does this. What a priceless frag at a very low price! I bought a second bottle right after I received my first. Good thing I did. Nebras will be the first of my new fragrances that I indeed finish off a bottle very soon. I agree with @Zhara. It is surreal. Everyone should try this gem.

AngieGCarp

Nebras is lovely...its the lovely dressing gown and elegant furry mules to Boudoir's nightie and stilettos

Andreab969

Beautiful. Powerful! Easy on the trigger! Luxurious scent. I don't know why it isn't classified as "Poudre" also because at drydown and for 12 HOURS I have a lovely almost spicy powder that rivals Valentina Poudre. I'm waiting for my order of "Boudoir" to come so I can compare for myself. Lesson here: low price does not mean low quality!

Nataliemarie

I have Boudoir, so I was "Hoping". Nope, very strong floral.. I love Al Rehabs Oils, they are amazing for the price. But this is a STRONG flower. Maybe in the drydown,,hours later it will, but this is SHARP, so be aware. Boudoir is never strong or sharp at any point, & I smell WAY more potent flowers in this. Not a fan of "Soft" either, but you will love it you like A. Pink Sugar. Spot on! My faves are Choco Musk an A.Chocolovers dupe, & Al Sharquiah is great if you like an OUD Rose.(Bond 9 Perfumista Ave & Ruby Dubai). As it is toning down 10 notches, I smell the Boudoir, but it is still covered with very strong flowers, so just be sure you like that~ Natalie N on YT

PS, This is the Oil, which in my experience is your best bet anyway...

Erinbath22

Warm, soft, musky carnation. The rose is supporting. The citrus is there but stays muted. Lovely and sweet. What makes it really interesting is that I get a minty breeze wafting throughout the florals. Is that what people describe as bubblegum?

Smells very powdery pink and old fashioned to me. Kind of relaxing. This is in no way one of those rude "smells like a granny perfume" comments, but immediately Nebras reminded me of something my Grandma wore. She had wonderful taste in perfume, and introduced me to most of my first fragrances.

I don't know which perfume this reminds me of, but it is classy and softly powerful and oozes feminine comfort. Kind of a glamour scent in my opinion. I get a vintage-y vision of lady in her silky dressing gown in front of her vanity dabbing on creams and beauty products.
I layered this with Red Rose.... winning combo!!!

Cherry_Darling

The resemblance to vivienne westwood's bodour is haunting. I would say 100% if you like that buy this at a fraction of the price. Very interesting considering the differing note composition!

paneradfisk

This smells very classic with citrus beginning, becoming rose and carnation though with a sweetness that vintage perfumes lack. The sweetness reminds me alot of the creaminess found in tuberose. It's a bit soapy, quite sweet, and very classic floral. If you like this you might like Saat Safa and Golden as well.

MrsMurgatroyd

Very powerful and gorgeous perfume.

Coffee_Girl

I was only exposed to the house of Al-Rehab through a dear friend who gifted me this bottle of Nebras; this was one of my first introductions into oud…and now I am totally hooked! I learned immediately why this company has such a stellar reputation, their oils are incredibly potent…one application was enough to leave me a little dizzy. This thing will singe your nostrils!

Upon first application, I am hit with a blast of citrus, followed by patchouli, orange blossom, rosewood, cedar chips and sandalwood. This is balsamic heaven with heavy incense notes and lots of oriental flowers; initial lemon notes were reminiscent of cleaning products but the floral follows up quite nicely. I don’t get “soapiness” that other reviewers have mentioned, this is pure resinous smoky rose/carnation, totally relaxing and meditative.
Nebras reminds me of that “New Age” shop smell that tend to dominate various parts of San Francisco: warm, comforting, and very cozy. The sillage and longevity are enormous, in fact once in India I witnessed shop owners hanging their clothes on wooden door frames…while burning incense below so it would infuse into the fabric. This is what I feel like is happening when rubbing Nebras into my clothes; it saturates and stays there for weeks!

This is my first experience with the Saudi Arabian fragrance line, and I love it. I can’t believe how potent their perfumes are for such a bargain price, really makes you wonder about all those watered down reformulations from big house names. Overall a real bargain!

Vienna.Pink

Labaloo

To me, this smells very much like a cross between VW Boudoir and Bal a Versailles... a very western, sweet floral blend of carnation, rose, and indolic blossoms with a touch of aldehydes over a slightly-skanky base dominated by musk and civet... and to think that something of this quality only cost me 5USD! I almost don't want to talk about it so that I can keep this little secret bargain to myself! A.m.a.z.i.n.g in all respects: longevity on my skin at 70F is over 12 hours.

EDIT: I'd like to add that I've been increasing the skank factor by layering Nebras over Untitled #8. The combo is lovely, increasing the depth without disturbing the construction of either as they "lock" seamlessly.

EDIT: I've been seeing reviewers after mine come up with "fluffy pink cloud" to describe the visual impression of this fragrance, and I absolutely agree with that!

Today I tried layering it with Al Rehab's 'White Musk', and find the combo really pleasant- they bond well together. I am nearly finished with my first bottle of CPO as I've been wearing it quite often, so had to splurge on the 6-pack so that I'm safely in stock for awhile.

Love this perfume so much.

LoreleiBluebird

This stuff is a power house and no mistake, it's kind of weird as it seems like a nice quiet and soft ladylike scent but it's Really Really LOUD. A well blended floral with a nice creaminess, but because of its strength it wasn't working for me. So I added in a little drop of Al-rehab Sheikhah, and it's perfect!

LADYELLE

All I need is to find a retail store to sniff all Al Rehab scents to get very close to the ninche perfumes. The price is very cheap and quality is natural, sweet, bouquet of flowers and does not have oud in it. All year round day. This can not substitute for Une Rose or La Fille de Berlin because Nebras does not have the spice.

Sweet_Heart

This review is for the 6ml oil roll on...

I'm surprised at how much I love this scent! On me, it opens as an innocent soapy rose, clean and feminine. After an hour or so, the mid notes reveal themselves and I get a bit of white floral, similar to jasmine or tuberose? My favorite is after the fourth hour, and the warm, resin-y base notes appear. Benzoin and caramel, perhaps? But not overly sweet... just pleasantly warm and a little spicy. One reviewer said it reminded them of Madonna's Truth or Dare (one of my favorites) and I agree, but without the huge tuberose/gardenia opening. Nebras is quieter, but somehow richer and deeper. And for those who worry it won't project, as is the case with most oils, not to worry... it's definitely a compliment getter. I've also ordered the EDP spray as I just can't get enough of this scent! Gorgeous!

Edit: I've been wearing this scent for several months now and it's quickly become my signature. I love how iit's both classic (spicy carnation and rose soapiness) and modern (smoky vanilla caramel gourmand base) at the same time. It's difficult to describe this scent because there are so many nuances, and I discover new ones every time I wear it. It is by far my most complimented fragrance. People are always saying how good I smell. And to think this magic in a bottle retails for less than $5! I've since started buying the 35ml spray and a few squirts on neck and chest over a couple light dabs of the perfume oil is enough to last a good 12+ hours. I've read that others have experimented with layering Nebras with other Arabian attars, but I haven't done that yet. To me Nebras by itself is perfection, and who am I to mess with perfection? :-) But someday I'm sure I will be tempted, if only out of curiosity. If you've been thinking of trying Nebras, don't hesitate! You'll be surprised at what you've been missing.

Fragrance Review For Nebras

By Al Rehab

NOTES

FLORAL NOTES

CITRUS

LEMON

Nebras is a beautiful citrusy floral with a lot of other things going on. It smells like Boudoir according to some but what I smell is a unique type of citrus based floral Oriental. There is also no way it's only got 3 notes as I picked up on other scents.

I detected orange blossom among the floral notes, neroli, peony, rose and carnation. There's also patchouli and amber which would be down in the base notes. There's only a hint of wood and musk. It's unisex. Refreshing and cool as it opens with citrus. It's lemons and oranges and sometimes very much like aftershave or Shalimar. The progression it makes is simple. It goes from citruses to florals and then to wood. I find it exotic, sweet and comfortable. It doesn't become too balsamic or too herbal. It's well balanced. The fragrance has won a lot of fans. It's affordable and smells good.

It has great sillage and longevity. I was reminded of Emeraude by Coty as well. If you like Emeraude you'll like this citrus-floral perfume. It's something to wear to Church or Temple or Mosque. It's got a religious air to it but in the sense that you wear this to a serious holiday type of event. A Muslim friend of mine wears this on holidays. She smells great. I thought it was a woman's only perfume but then I smelled it on her brother LOL Gorgeous.

Perfumeaddict777

This is an arabian oil that mimics western perfumes. Most of the oils contain oud, spices and roses, but nebras is the eastern version of our western perfumes and i think they did a wonderful job! I ended up liking nebras more than some of my western scents and i grab for this alot. It does resemble Vivian Westwood Boudoir but only the bubblegum opening , they both smell pink, powdery and bubblegumy but nebras is missing the skank or the dirty notes that is in boudoir. I think it's beautiful. Nebras is strong and long lasting, the sillage is enormous and i can smell this on my scarf or jackets for weeks! Great pink, powder, bubblegum, cheeky, scent!

heather62

oh no, not for me. There is some note that really is off putting to me. I immediately gave it away to my daughter in law. I tried to warn her to put a very small amount on and she ended up having to wash some off but she could still smell it.

Just not my smell -

Delila

Extremely synthetic. I'm more than a little bit confused from reading about exotic Arabian attars, then receiving this, which is not an attar nor anything close. No extraction or distillation of plants involved in the creation of this!

I'm not even convinced that the fragrance chemicals are in an oil base. I think it might be a glycol or petroleum-derived material.

All of my Al Rehabs give a similar impression of being fully synthetic. Not in the least bit pleasant.

Hippo Princess

This opens with a sweet and juicy citrus with flowers just peeking through. As it wears on, it becomes a softer five-petaled pink rose, a little powdery. There is a warmth that emerges, cozy and vanillic, rounding out the sharper lemon.

Nebras is quite tame for an Arabian oil...it's almost Western in its fresh levity.

aspirina

The Spray version. Fluffy and seductive, very spicy not as strong as I thought. It has that aura of sensual intimacy, pink lace underwear and ...leather? I know it is not in the notes but I perceive some naughty leather here...wow! It can be cloying if oversprayed but this is a very sexy perfume.

Jac401

Have worn this today, for the first time. I was expecting a great wall of floral-ness to come at me, but no, just a well-behaved soft rose to start, then gradually gaining some lovely soft white florals along the way. I have applied it twice already, as I don't find it knocks people over at all - so far DH hasn't even commented on it, but he has got a stinker of a cold. I can tell I'm wearing it, but I don't think I'm benefiting great swathes of humanity with it - not altogether a bad thing! It's a pleasant, soft floral that could be worn anywhere, without anyone taking offence, but I feel sure that anyone coming into your close circle would be aware that you smelled lovely.
Definitely a keeper.

Update: Wore it last Sunday, and I got complimented by Hubs and also another woman, so very pleased it's actually noticeable on me, as I love this little fragrance, it's so pretty.
Have had a year of not wearing much perfume (DH having had an enormous op and still chesty from long anaesthesia). Just started playing about with some of my perfumes, and realise that I have to re-order Nebras, as there's only a smear left in the bottle! Must have been my favourite, as there is plenty left of the others. Layered Nebras today, with Al Haramain Amber and has made a delightful fragrance together, as the Amber is too masculine on it's own.
Have to say, quite a few of these oils actually have improved with being left alone for a year in a dark drawer.

sembiotic

This is a spitting aromage of Contradiction by CK. I owned a bottle many years ago but ended up giving it away because one of the notes gave me a feeling of nausea. I would say that the dry down on Nebras is actually better and turns to a powdery musky haunting smell which wafts into my nostrils every now and again. I had to wait hours before it was wearable on me. I can appreciate that this is a quality scent with enormous lasting power but I think I'm going to have to layer it with something to mellow it out slightly...if that is possible. I will persevere and report back. At the moment it's a little too overwhelming for my nose.

UPDATE I decided to give it another chance and today it smells completely different! I layered it with Al Rehab Sabaya and it smells divine

ptilda

I have the rollerball of this scent, but also tested a spray and loved that. This is enormous! I just touched the ball to my wrist and chest and it's wafting! It's such an interesting scent that is light in notes, but packs a punch. Florals, citrus, powdery softness. Sort of like cheesecake. It's so good, but too much is going to cause some big problems!

Really nice, but I expect it to last me forever. My second Al-Rehab I've owned. I'm eager to try some others.

Lalaith

Really nice thick floral frag on me... Generally, I don't usually wear florals, but I like this one for some occasions and mood.
At first florals are mixed up with sweet citrus notes, which disappears after a while. And than a thick floral bouquet spread on a skin... I can't detect single florals - maybe jasmin and rose?!? With oriental base (woods and vanilla) and little green undertones, which appeals a bit minty to me.

It's a bit powdery, sweet and full floral with good sillage and great longevity! But not unbearable at all, I don't know which ingredient makes it, but it's not overly heavy and even in heat it can be quite refreshing! I get that slightly minty green undertone in Nebras... Maybe it's oud, maybe something else.

I don't wear Nebras very often, but I really like it. And the price is wonderfull. You don't get such a good frag for that price from french/european/american perfume houses...

Loca del Tó

What a great discovery!. But please let it dry for an hour before smelling it too closely or it will burn the hairs in your nose like trementine. (Anyway this is usual with attars). This is a beautiful floral very wearable by Western standars, and still better in hot weather. Sillage is not overwhelming and it lasts and lasts. I don´t know how much it resembles VW´s Boudoir because I´ve never smelled that but this is a lovely, inexpensive oil wich smells much expensive and perfumey than many Western designer´s juices. Some folk classify everything not frutchouli as an old lady´s scent and so this may be seen by those people like dated and old-ladyish. For me, this is classy and classic. This is not a sexy, attention seeker fragance, instead this is a comfort, clean, all year round juice that will make you feel all dressed-up and groomed even if you wear trainers and ragged jeans. In my nose this is intensely white floral with a green but warm undertone, with lots of rose and jazmin, citrus and a bit of wood. Somehow remindes me of a mix between old Eau Jeune Fleur a Fleur and Cabotine but much lighter in sillage and more classy. I smell aniseed and musk soap and some powder a few hours after the drydown. This is absolutely lovely. Give it a try if you like classy white florals.
Update: this is growing on me. I love this attar so much that have ordered 6 bottles of 6ml. I can easily see this as my new signature.
Of all my attars, this one is my absolute favorite followed by Al-Rehab Cobra and Alquimia Pervane Ámbar (an artesanal juice from a small house at Albayzin quarter - Granada)

Scarbie

I've reviewed this before and still love it. I'm wearing the spray version for the first time in a while and this is such a beautiful fragrance. The combination of rose and citrus is great and the perfume would be great layered with an orange/citrus based scent. I took a walk during lunch today and the wind would bring the scent back to me. Even now 10 hours after applying I can still smell it quite well.

Ambergris Intoxication

This is for the 6ml oil

Wow, I am so different than most of the other members here. I love the strong (daunting?) fragrances that others seem to hate and then there are ones like this! Soft and fluffy Horror!

Wash it off! Waaash it off!!!YUCK...ACK...WOOF...HORF...GAGHhhhhhh...gurgle...

Too sweet, too flowery, too strong, too loud!
All that and I still hate it? What's with that? Maybe it's the lack of dark notes I don't know but this is powdery, flowery HELL!

I tried... I tried sooooo hard! I let it dry down but it just wouldn't change! I tried it twice, 3 times I even tried layering it in teeny tiny amounts but nothing helped! Nothing would stanch the flow of sweet cloying powder and over saturated flowers consuming my very soul!
In a word I didn't fancy this one so much. Sorry fans to each there own.

Update: I looked at the reviews and nearly everyone seems to love Nebras. On me the oil is an instant migraine! What the heck am I missing?!

PerfumeKing14

it does smell like boudoir but you have to let it settle for 5 minutes before you can smell that on yourself. its very very overpowering at 1st but only for a couple of minutes then its wonderful. yes its very much like Vivienne Westwoods boudoir but in actual fact i prefer this. i wore boudoir for years & years it was my signature scent but over the years it changed a lot for me & it didn't smell the same, this however is AMAZINGLY identical to when boudoir 1st came out so its a new favourite of mine for sure.strong, sexy & definitely a head turner

elislo

A spicy and exotic pink cloud!
I adore it!!
Sillage 7/10
Longevity 9/10

marie rose

Nebras was my 1st al-rehab. It was love at 1st sniff. I can't stop inhailing the air around me. Creamy pink floral, bubblegum, powdery, feminine and very sensual. Makes you feel happy. Floral sweetness wafts around your body all day.Long lasting, projects out. A powerhouse. If you like perfume you can smell on yourself, this is it. (6ml rollerball)

Think of it as a pink bubble cloud. Fluffly sweet and surrounding you all day.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

maelleinrome

I ordered this one expecting something similar to Montale Velvet flowers...what a disappointment!!! Maybe this simply doesn't work with my skin. All I can smell it's a very indolic jasmin-tuberose smell, not rose, not power, nor sweetness at all...too mature, too serious, too old lady like for my tastes. I really cannot see the comparison with Velvet flowers, which is a sweet, syrupy rose and peach smell, with a lovely biscuit drydown (due to the santal note). Oh well, at least it was really cheap...

@lollipopsneeze
Nebras (نبراس)is an Arabic word which means cresset . Yes , I am an Arab .It has nothing to do with bra's :D

alice_fotini

One of my first Al Rehab perfumes, and already one of my favorites. I purchased the 6ml concentrated oil and suspect it will go a long, long way. Its longevity is amazing - without being overbearing.

Nebras is a fresh floral, with delicate citrusy and powdery balancing notes, and with a trace of musk in the dry-down. A sunny, uplifting perfume and it is enough for me to sniff it – the day seems already brighter. I understood that Nebras means ‘light’ – couldn't think of a better name.

It has nothing to do with the pungent, heavy Arabic perfumes, although it has enough of an oriental personality. Very suitable for spring/ beginning of summer.

I would warmly recommend it to any floral lover.

MadeiraD

There's something baby-wipes-y in this citrusy sweet floral. It's also got something compelling

Kitykat1971

Nebras was given to me by a very dear friend, romansandals. I would have never found this scent if he hadn't introduced it to me. I love the floral, happy scent! I also love that it is an oil in a roll on applicator. It seems to last all day long! Looking forward to trying other Al-Rehab scents! Thanks romansandals

PLUMPIE

Starts out super screechy fleshy orange, peachy-rose with a lemony bergamot twang, but give it a bit to warm up before you judge. You need the tiniest dab, literally this will eat your nose if you over dab it.

I definitely get Boudoir from this, but it is a better boudoir for me, less the same rosy/fleshy/milky/tobacco, but a little less 'worn undergarment and bubble gum (can't stand the bubblegum note) a bit more honeyed-rose-gardenia-jasmine but indeed very similar. It has a zingy note which I can't quite place almost like ylang-ylang which balances out the powdery, soft rosy notes and sweetness.

Once it warms up it definitely develops a boozy-honeysuckle-nutmeg-gardenia-jasmine thing that smells like the original pre-reformulation Organza. Back when Organza turned deep orange in the bottle and had all it's syrupy yet never too sweet character.

This could not have come about at a better time, this is cheap as chips, I got my roller ball for $5 NZ and it will last a lifetime. I also just re-homed my boudoir and my current formulation Organza which I cannot tolerate anymore. This oil really captures the both of both scents and smells incredible

Unfortunately this is starting to give me a headache and is just too much for me, too much going on and the Organza note is a bit depressing for me it takes me back to a not so great phase of my life so I have passed this on but that is just my take on this scent.

RobKY

A potent, lovely smell indeed. Although I am a fan of both fruity and floral, this fragrance oil is all the way to feminine on the unisex scale... hard to believe that it is labeled as for both men and women. I look forward to gifting it to a lovely friend at work and sniffing her as much as possible.

armacoonsum

Shushkin, perhaps my bottle of Nebras was "off"?... To me, Guess original was almost menacingly deep, warm, and sexual, and my bottle of nebras comes across the polar opposite of all of that... pink, fluffy flowers. I love honeysuckle as well... it is one of my favorite notes, and I don't detect it at all in London. Just jasmine, jasmine, rose, jasmine, jasmine, mandarin, jasmine, jasmine. Puffy and pink, like Nebras. So strange, again and always, how differently our noses perceive things. ;)

tessture

Rose and a pulpy orange lay on top of a harmonious blend of sandal, jasmine and very quiet amber oudh. It reminds me of spicy carnation soap, with a touch of cedar. Love it and the dirt cheap price is unbeatable. As others have warned, use the oil sparingly: It's powerful and long lasting and if you over do it, you will rue it all day long and possibly into the next day too.

cinnamonstick

Too sweet and too floral for me!

Scarbie

This is very strong stuff a beautiful heady rose! But please, a little goes a long way! I have both the oil and the perfume spray. It is very similar to Boudoir but this scent is easier to wear to me because of the lighter scent. The oil in particular has great longevity and I could smell it on me the next day. I can't believe how inexpensive the oils are! I think I paid $18 for 6 of them and gave the others away as little gifts.

Mattysmum

This smells like horse to me,a beautiful Arabian horse, skin warmed by the sun, wearing a garland of the most beautiful exotic flowers round his neck, the scent warmed by the desert sun. Lovely!

shushkin

Smelling this bought back many memories from the 80s. Its a dead ringer for GUESS Original. I loved my fragrance then and wore only two perfumes. GUESS was my cold weather favorite. This has a hefty sillage (just like GO) and the lengthy longevity matches to! Its a rich heavy opulent all woman fragrance. It was really way too old for the youngster I was back in the 80s but I loved the stuff and that was that.
It is nothing like Burberry London as I have that scent and that is dominated by sweet honeysuckle. Its not the Diva that Nebras is.

armacoonsum

I was hoping beyond hope that this would be a dupe for my eternal beloved Guess Original... it is not that at all (sorry to add a 'no' to the votes up there... had to). The good news is that it absolutely is one of my favorites- Burberry London- at about 1/10 the price! Goes on LOUDLY floral- just this kind of generic "I'm wearing perfume!!!" kind of floral... this is the part where I began to regret giving even $4 for the stuff. But, then! The loudness softens and it becomes the very same pink, airy jasmine that I adore in London... no easy trick, finding just *that* jasmine, as so many of them take the "someone else's sweat" route on my skin... really, you could just as easily read my review of Burberry's London if you want my thoughts on Nebras. The ONLY difference is the intensity... you really don't want to smash your nose right against your skin where you have rolled on some Nebras... enjoy it in moderation, and from a distance. For eons, because it is NOT going anywhere. ;)

Unfortunate edit: Headache. 800mgs ibuprofen headache. Jasmine. Turns out, not even a nicely cleaned-up jasmine like this one or the one in London, will work for me anymore. I used to be a devotee... :(

Peachysugarbuns

I bought this after I read a fragrantica commenter compare it to Vivienne Westwood "Boudoir". (Ah, the fun of falling down the Fragrantica rabbit hole!)

This is bodacious and feminine, exotic and familiar...and very, VERY potent. I was stupid enough to try this Nebras oil (I'd never had experience with perfume oil before) while at work. I am a bartender. This scent was so strong that one of my co-workers got a massive headache and had to GO HOME (oh, yes, after I scrubbed my wrists and elbows it was still SO strong!) and my manager pulled me aside and told me to not wear that scent to work again. My poor guests must've been gagging behind their beers.

I now know to rub the oil into my skin instead of dab it on full force on my pulse points. A bit rubbed into my stomach area is about all I can handle. I love Nebras in the comfort of my own home - I sprinkle it on my carpets before vacuuming, too! Haha!

smalltownbeatnik

Whoa. I sprayed one teeny spritz of this on a napkin to test it this morning. I then placed the napkin in my bottom desk drawer. Every single student that has walked in my classroom has said, "Wow! What smells so good in here?!" This stuff is potent! And beautiful. It's really, really pretty. I'm not a floral fan, per se, but I can easily see myself wearing this.

mabelcruet

I got a roll-on of Nebras oil from Ebay (for something ridiculous like £1.99-they were an authorised Al-Rehab seller) and it is gorgeous. Just a lovely, simple mix of rose and citrus, slightly sweet but tangy, and it dries down to a smooth floral-powder. It's very feminine without being over the top floral, and it lasts for around 5-6 hours on me-in the final couple of hours there's a slightly spicy carnation note and a wisp of oud. Its very concentrated, you don't need much to be surrounded in a rosy dream. Its not overpowering but the sillage is moderate, so its not exactly unobtrusive. Definitely a winner for me.

marwa.qoura

Thanks Fragrantica for pointing out this beauty , a diamond in the rough for sure ...I am an Arab who lives in in an Arab country but my taste in perfumes is so different from the Arabian tastes , powdery and floral accords are my favourite ..Thus , I have never paid attention to all these Arab perfumes houses I see their scents every where here , I wanted to try Boudoir but it's almost impossible to find in shops here , unless for a very very heavy price tag ..So I picked up Nebras at my favourite local boutique here for a dirt chaep price and I am GLAD I did . Just what I exactly like a very feminine scent ,with powdery notes and citrus to balance it a bit and just a touch of muskiness in the dry down.. BTW, the dry down is so Organza like , but in the refomulated one ,not my favourite part but I still like it..
Update : It gives me a slight headache , but I still love it ..will never stop using it :)

Anbreen

These are exactly the right notes in exactly the right balance.

I usually have to avoid Arab perfumes (and many Western) because so many contain vanilla. I amp vanilla from sea to shining sea.

This is so nicely blended! Slightly ambery florals, wit a citrusy-sharp edge. Actually, my skin usually makes citrus vanish. I love this stuff!

Shwets

I thought that i had reviewed this!

This weekend i did a side by side comparison of Nebras vs Boudoir and from the bottle and on skin neither appear to be alike to me.

Boudoir gets very heavy vanillary/powdery. Nebras is fresh floral not heavy in vanilla and has this makeup scent.

I like Nebras but not boudoir (have also smelt the vintage and gave this away years ago).

Nebras has an enormous sillage and lasts for ages esp on clothes.

HeidiLynn

This is what a virgin sacrifice would wear on her way to the altar...and the gods would be very pleased indeed....

maani

Nebras is very nice floral. Lovely soft, pleasant nicely blended .oil is Long Lasting ,not expensive, you cant buy samples of some expensive perfumes at which price you buy Al Rehab .

jacquir

It's a long time since I smelled Boudoir and I don't remember exactly what it was like, but I do remember that I didn't really like it. However, I think Nebras is absolutely lovely, so perhaps my taste in scent has changed or perhaps, as some people have said, Nebras lacks the animalistic quality of Boudoir, which is probably what put me off. Nebras to me is quite cool and blue as it goes on, developing into powdery flowers, roses certainly, possibly peony and carnation, with a hint of spice. It has the aura of an expensive, classic perfume from the middle of the 20th century, very glamorous, strong and long lasting but not over-pouring. I can't believe I bought perfume oil of this quality for £2 from a market stall in Birmingham.

tessture

Thislovely, harmonious blend reminds me of spicy carnation French soap, possibly in a cedar soap dish.I get a pulpy citrus and rose with the other notes underneath in support, quietly pretty. Very pretty, very Spring-appropriate. And for this dirt-cheap price, it's an easy choice. Lovely

Akarui_hana

Nebras is gorgeous, more people should know about this perfume. The combination of roses and citrus is delicious and refreshing. Don't apply too much because it is a very strong perfume. It lasts forever and has great sillage. I have this in the ETP version, I will also try the 6ml oil in the future out of curiosity to see if there is any difference.

doormouse1

I think hanson26 must have applied this with a heavy hand. There is no way this can be described as 'heavy' or 'dirty'.

the best way to use these oils is to swipe a 2-inch line across the palm of one hand, rub your hands briskly together then rub your scented hands all over yourself, preferably while still warm from the shower. You will smell wonderful all day. You never get the best results if you apply oil straight from the rollerball to your skin. Alternatively, after the 2-inch swipe, put a little unscented body lotion on top of the oil and work them together before applying.

I hsve tried quite a few of the Al-Rehab oils, and this is one of my favourites - it is beautiful and more acceptable to Western-noses than some!

The written description at the top of the page is incorrect, and does not describe this oil at all. There is no amber, sandalwood or (thank goodness) oudh.

moreorlessa

Fresh, clean and floral, but also very zesty, which I think gives it a nice punch and keeps it from smelling like lemonade. Delicate and graceful, but not entirely docile.

hanson26

Looking at the notes and description, I thought I got a fake or turned oil. But after checking the notes of Boudoir, which I have never smelled but is often called a dupe for this, it seems about right. What I don't get is why this is called light, soft, delicate, etc. It's not. It's heavy, kind of dirty smelling, and honestly a bit nauseating. I was expecting something really great and thought the crazy low price was too good to be true-it was. This smells like it's under $10. Although I must give fair points to the longevity and sillage, if you like the scent, it lasts like no other. Scrubbing it off wasn't easy.

HeavyBeatsUK

I see the reason for the comparison to Boudoir as it has the same floral, 'pink' and slightly spicey feel but I can't say this fragrance smells EXACTLY like Boudoir. A closer comparison would be another oil called Amber by Tree of Life. Good gracious, this fragrance does have a heavy sillage, my fellow Fragranticas are definitely correct there.

drugstore classics

Candied flowers with vanilla and citrus - SWEET!

Very feminine, in a youthful way. I usually cannot tolerate this level of sugar in perfume, but it's less offensive than many a celebrity scent.

One thing that should be noted about Al Rehab scents is that they layer Beautifully! Therefore you can add depth rather easily. To my mind, Nebras is an innocent floral, lacking complexity or depth. But that's the way it's many fans like it, and who am I to object? Plus, my opinions are constantly 'enlarging' - meaning I'm learning to appreciate perfume in a more open minded way by the day!

Well worth trying, if only for the fun of it. :)

UPDATE - Well worth trying indeed.

I have just been gifted a spray bottle version of Nebras, as opposed to the oil I previously tested. Amazing. The bubblegum sweetness is now all but gone and I am enjoying a gentle and elusive floral. Nothing strong or terribly sweet here ( past the initial blast, as with most perfumes ) - just delicate beauty. I'm delighted to have seen another side of Nebras!

jedrzejowskia

Oh wow, this is beautiful! A garden of roses exploding in a scent that's very fresh, elegant and very expensive smelling.
One of the very few pure rose smells that doesn't give me a head ache...
I have VW Budoir and I can't smell any straight up similarity. On me Budoir dries down to this honeyed, candied rose petal scent, intertwined with a sweet cognac background.
Nebras is nearly soapy and clean sheet smelling on me. It smells like newly washed sheet in a bedroom on a balmy summers evening where a huge vase of roses is standing in the wide open window.
Very theatrical/concerty smelling, I think I'm going to describe it as cultural smelling ;-) like it. Like it a lot.

Jenge

I decided to do another review because I got out my holy bottle of Guess original and did a skin test with it and Nebras. I can now see some similarities. I would say Nebras could be a flanker of Guess as an "eau de", or a summer, light version with some citrusy freshness. Guess is definitely MUCH heavier, and Nebras doesn't have the patchouli or oakmoss, but there is a spicy floral sameness especially before Guess dries down. I think if you found the right patchouli/amber to layer Nebras with, you could come pretty close to Guess original.

Jenge

I need to stop setting my expectations so high for blind buys! I absolutely adored Guess original and I get no hints of it with Nebras. (Darn) I would agree with another reviewer that it is more closely related to Organza.

I received the oil and the spray for Christmas and they both have great longevity. I find Nebras to be a sweet, soft, spicy rose with the spice being nutmeg or cinnamon, or maybe even carnation. It stays linear on me, maybe becoming less spicy as it dries. I think it's a nice, safe scent. I don't find it sexy or daring at all.

What IS amazing about it is the price! How great to have a company with so many lasting fragrances to try that won't break the bank!

I will try Nebras in the Summer and see if it works better for me in warm weather.

Shoshi

Smells like Classique by Jean Paul Gaultier.

mihaela01

This is a beautiful perfume,I have never smelled Boudoir and I am not very good at describing notes, but this is very sexy a complex floral with great lasting power. At the begining I swear I can feel some mint, maybe I am crazy but the dry down is beautiful. This won t be my last oil for sure.

lizwykys

I have the oil, and for me, this really popped straight out of the bottle (and turned my husband's head immediately), but sadly dried down into something sort of muddy and nondescript after about an hour (stupid, stupid chemistry). In an effort to combine it with something that it might be able to hang its hat on, I tried layering it with my Nemat Amber White perfume oil, and *wow!*, that works. The combo is crazy sexy, warm and heady on me, so I'm adding this in case anyone else has the same problem, or just feels like experimenting.

HeidiLynn

Either I'm anosmic to part of the composition of Nebras, or my head cold is worse than I thought! While I put a few "swipes" of the oil on, and thought I had a lovely skin-scent going, my husband (also with a cold) exclaimed about the quantity of perfume I had on--and that he could smell me 10 feet away.

All I smell is a powdery, amberic fragrance that is almost peachy-lychee with a touch of vanilla--in fact, it reminds me a good deal of "The One", only the notes that The One opens with, Nebras maintains the whole time (never getting to the very floral-vanilla end that The One devolves into) and with greater sillage and longevity. I could still smell Nebras after a dip in the pool, and the projection was strong all day.

Others have compared Nebras to Boudoir, and I get the similarity but Nebras never gets to the rutty-earthiness that Boudoir is famous for. I've also seen a mention of Nebras smelling like Bijan; that puzzles me, because while the powder and amber are somewhat similar, Bijan has much more spiciness, has honey that Nebras lacks, and develops into a more complex fragrance than Nebras is.

Nebras is a virginal smell, simple and quite lovely. She's not complex, not worldly, not fully developed, but still sweet. I did enjoy this scent, and will recommend it as a very pleasant floral for good value with great sillage and longevity.

MarillaV

Not for the faint of heart, Nebras is for the daring lady who wants to make her presence known. This floral composition is a head-turner! Smells lady-like with just enough musk and spice to make this lady interesting. I have only spritzed Boudoir once from a store tester, but from that experience, I would say Nebras is very similar. Boudoir might be a tad dirtier. The projection and longevity of Nebras is crazy-good. I can apply it in the morning and the following morning I still smell it on my skin! When I run a bit of the oil on my hair, it lasts until I wash it out. I caught my husband sniffing my hair the other day. He couldn't help himself! Powerful and demanding, Nebras will get you noticed!

lapioggianelpineto1977

I bought it because of the apparent similarity to Boudoir. I am surprised. The resemblance with Boudoir is strong, Nebras has only a slight cleaner appearance. Longevity and sillage are great. I have the oil. And I am happy.

EmilyTheStrange

My Oh My.

A couple of bucks on ebay, a 3 week postage wait, but finally my little brown package from India arrived and this beauty was inside.

First of all, this lasts for ages. The longevity is up there with Thierry Mugler, maybe it even surpasses TM to be honest. Second of all, this projects BIG TIME. So far, that's been a positive thing for me!

Thirdly, and most importantly, the scent itself is of the utmost sophistication and elegance. It is sweet, but not in a lolly or teeny-bop 'Pink Sugar' way - not at all. It's sweet in an Indian Spice way if that makes sense - it's sweet in a grown up way. Then there are the many different floral notes...some white, some pink...and what sets it all off and keeps it together are the citrus notes. A little sour at first (which is heaven when meshed with the sweetness of this perfume) - but in no time at all the sourness goes away and the Citrus notes become fresh and zesty.

Once it's had time to dry down - a lovely musk note appears and beautifully 'dusts' over every other note. This is my first Al-Rebab perfume and I am head over heels already! This is truly a classy, elegant, beautiful perfume on a budget. Most perfumes 10 times the price of this don't have the quality of this :)

AMAZING. 10/10.

jadejoann4

Nice scent. I have the oil and its strong, long lasting and flowery. I smell rose and powdery sweetness. It's a little cloying and couldn't wear it all the time. It smells to me like make-up, lipstick something like that. I find it thick. I'd wear it in the fall-winter and at night.

SOFT- it's JUST LIKE PINK SUGAR. Only difference is that PS has camarel.

sistermoon

Nebras is a heady oriental floral with rose, woods and spices. Good quality, classic fragrance. I own the roll-on and not the spray, so I can only comment on the oil. It's very warming and deep. Perfume oils are supposed to stay close to the skin, but this one "grows", especially in humid climate.

Yes, it has a lot in common with VW Boudoir, but it is a rosier version I believe, and maybe a bit cleaner? (Although it is not something I would label as "clean".) I perceive it as very beautiful and romantic. I love spicy florals which can be worn in cold months, and Nebras is my go-to oriental rose.

The price is amazing for the quality you get. No wonder this brand is popular in "perfume underground". Overpriced niche brands, watch and learn!

Addict2Perfume

Al-Rehab Nebras has fresh carnation, sweet rose, and earthy cinnamon. I absolutely adore Vivienne Westwood’s Boudoir, but due to the fact that it had been discontinued, it’s now very expensive. Nebras smells just like it for a fraction of the cost! Such a beautiful scent! Love it!

truffles

Smells lovely at first but dries down to a very 'meh' mumsy floral. This is the first and only Al-Rehab fragrance I've smelled, would be interested in exploring some others.

mhubbard

I recently purchased Nebras and Soft. I am not sure which one I like better, they are so great. Yes, they are similar to well known western fragrances but marvelous in their own right. Deliscious gourmands at a price anyone can afford. Have I been crazy to spend big money on perfume when I didn't have to? Everyone should try this, an amazing value.10/10

ann.sundwall

I can totally support IM's description of Al- Rehab's "Soft". It is very like Pink Sugar, except to my nose it lacks the odd plastic note that makes PS a little unpleasant. Soft also has a slight citric top note that disappears quickly leaving a gentle but persistent cotton candy scent. I like it much better than Pink Sugar, although they are very similar. And of course, it is much less expensive.

Al-Rehab's roller ball of Nebras oil also makes touching up Boudoir easy.

Mrs. Tuberose

I have a little collection of Al-Rehab perfumes that I've bought from Amazon or the Al-Rashad website (where Amazon get theirs). Nebras is my favorite with Wigdam coming in second. Everyone has described Nebras beautifully. The attars are not familiar scents to me so I have to buy them to try them. For me it depends on the oudh content, if it's too strong it will not work with my skin. On the Al-Rashad.com website you can get a description of most of their perfumes if you click on Al-Rehab oils, pick one like you are going to buy it, then scroll down the page and there is the list with the ingredients.

I think Nebras is the one attar that most Western women would fall in love with. It's definitely worth the under $4 price, (shipping usually costs more than the perfume). Try it, especially for the summer. A light touch because they get stronger as you get warmer.

Shwets

I have the perfume oil version and it is magnificent in terms of sillage and longevity compared to many other oils i have from the Al Rehab range.

It is so high end smelling compared to the expensive Arabian oils i have and prefer Nebras!

I was curious after the Boudoir comparisons and it is true - if you find Boudoir heady (would make me feel dizzy and nauseas) and far too animallic then Nebras is the one to try.

In fact i instantly was reminded of vintage Organza -the dry down of this is how Nebras is on initial application.

Nebras is one of my favs in the Al Rehab range. My other fav is Roses.

joliecat

Oh Nebras is wonderful ! It is the same scent as Vivienne Woodward's Boudoir, but it costs a LOT less, and lasts MUCH longer, with MUCH better projection. Nebras smells expensive and exotic.

Nebras is a true perfume, made with real ingredients, not synthetic, so apply lightly, since a tiny spray goes a long long way. Enjoy !

princesszaida

I had this before I heard the comparison on here to Boudior, which is interesting because I've been wanting Boudoir for quite some time just never got around to purchasing it. I have a hard time imagining it would smell like Nebras. On me Nebras isn't very beautiful. I have the oil and the spray, they are both long lasting and strong. The oil is stronger than any other perfume oil I have used. Sillage isn't that heavy on me. Only in the very beginning when it smells the worst. It's a very sweet rose. I think it would bother perfume sensitive people very much. The way the rose is so sweet on me, it reminds me of those really cheap potpourri oils that make rooms so stuffy and nauseating. But that goes away after a while, and it becomes more of a powdery sweet rose that stays close to my skin. Far from sexy. I wore this one morning when I hadn't showered yet, thinking it would maybe give it something, but instead it just made it sweeter.

It's probably just my chemistry, but I can't handle how SWEET this is! Maybe if I was in a colder climate it would be nicer. It's not so bad that I never use it. Because I do, it's just not something I love smelling like.

Massacura6

Read about this here on fragantica, had to try.
Purchased on ebay.
My opinion is not the same as Bourdior, wich i love Bourdior by the way.
On me it smells rose and stong flowery. No pepper in this one like Bourdior.
Like it smells fresh rose classy

trueblue19

I bought this roll-on oil years ago before I even discovered Fragrantica. I bought Boudoir before this so you could imagine how surprised I was to find out the similarity between the two. Boudoir is more complex and powdery while Nebras is more exotic, clean and bold. I love them both but for a price of £3 I do prefer Nebras plus you can easily put it in your clutch on a night out. I bought mine on Ebay so it's hard to tell if its real...but Boudoir does last longer and has much better sillage, to be honest.

Update: My Boudoir edp was bought years ago and has turned into an amberish colour. I tested it recently and found it more like a parfum or extrait now. At this point I'd say Nebras doesn't smell like Boudoir. The latter is much spicier, deeper and less sweet. Nebras smells thinner, sweeter and more girly.

judyk

As someone who has declared VW Boudoir to be her signature scent I felt I must a) try Nebras and b) comment here.

First impression - without trying them both together - is that Nebras (oil) smells *astonishingly* like Boudoir, right from the off. A bit more citrus, I think. Apart from that I can clearly make out the other listed ingredients - rose (strong; you'd better like rose), jasmine, sandalwood, a touch of amber lends a cozy fleece blanket feel to the sillage. I'm not getting any oud myself but certainly some spice and perhaps a bit of musk.

If you like Boudoir but find it a bit too dark or powdery at times you might well appreciate Nebras' citrusy brightness.

linda7452

When in Egypt in 2009, we stopped at a perfumery palace and I bought an oil called "Secret of the Desert" or viagra for women to wear. It's beautiful and so errotically feminine. My husband bought a replacement online from California import store; not the same. Do any of these oils, by chance, smell similar to this one? Not so heavy, no bitterness, just gently fades through the night.

logicmuppet

I've been wearing this exclusively for a week. The first whiff is of roses and soft spices, overlaid with sort of a "medicine-y" smell, I guess from the oud. I've never had a scent that features oud before, so that has to be it. I wasn't particularly impressed at first, but I didn't hate it. However, that odd note in the top faded in an hour or so, and I was left with a very smooth, woody rose. I get a little jasmine, and sandalwood in the bottom, and I swear I get a light pass of musk too, though the description doesn't mention that. It's lovely and old-fashioned to me, like a pink Victorian bouquet. It easily lasts 12 hours, and I can smell it on myself still the next morning.

Oh, and when they say "concentrated perfume oil," they are totally not kidding...just a dab of this spread around is enough to start with.

rainbow.owl2

It's a lovely spicy yet powdery rose. I like it a lot.

I agree that it really is quite like 'Boudoir' and a fantastic bargain to boot! It's pretty good quality, much more than you would expect for the price.

The perfume oil roller ball is also really REALLY strong - the tiniest dab is all you'll need!

saguna

Unfortunately I bought it, and regret. It was only 3 £ all together with postage, 6ml oil on Ebay, but I still don't understand why people like it?
Maybe it reminds me too much of these arabian, or indian shops, where rose water smells mixed with meat and other spices, I loved it, but after years of living in London, in an indian area, I hate this smell.

It's only because shops, so I believe someone else might like it.

FunkyTomo

I can only agree with the other reviews ..Yes similar to VW Boudoir and a fantastic perfume in its own right.

My first Arabian perfume , and first perfume with Oud. he quality for the ridiculously low price is outstanding!

Next i will be ordering the mixed bag of oils 5 for £10 so i can discover more Arabian scents.

Excellent !

Trinity

I am wearing “Nebras” for about a month and I must say that I am falling madly in love with this little wonder! I bought the perfume oil based on the positive reviews on this site…and thanks to you all I finally got it!
I own a lot of fragrances, some of them VERY expensive (CHANEL, DIOR etc.) but this little gem has taken my heart! Some of you have mentioned the similarity to “Boudoir” which I cannot compare, since I do not own this perfume. But let me tell you, the sensuality of “Nebras” is breathtaking! On my skin this smells like the most expensive fragrance…! The fragrance starts a bit harsh the first couple of minutes, reminds me a bit of hairspray…but after 5 minutes it is pure bliss. The Taif Rose, citrus and Jasmine blend very harmonious and leave a sweet and delicate trail wherever I go! The base, with the sandalwood and warm amber makes this extremely sensual and sexy!

Very beautiful in hot weather, day and night. If this little beauty will bloom in fall and winter as well, it will be my signature for sure!

Keywords: Exquisite – breathtaking feminine - sexy

Reviews comparing Nebras to VW Boudoir (which I love)are dead on. I received this as a roll-on oil this afternoon and after the first heady notes it becomes deeper and increasingly Boudoir-like. Though it is also true that it lacks the darker animalistic notes that Boudoir possesses. Actually, on my skin, the heady, sweet rose notes fade after about three hours. They don't vanish, but they soften and the whole scent becomes less sweet. Which I really like. I've purchased other K.S.A oils (Al-Rehab and Al Haramain)and been unable to wear them because of a very heavy burnt-asphalt smell that never faded. But this scent is really lovely and very, very inexpensive. Well worth the experiment.

muskymoi

That first fleeting whiff certainly reminded me of Boudoir, but on the skin it's a pure fruity rose on me. It's lovely and it makes me think of romance and first kisses and holding hands. Whereas Boudoir makes me think of disrobing quickly and efficiently such as to effectuate being found in flagrante delicto by an equally disrobed individual of the opposite sex.

krmarich

I found a roll-on bottle on e-bay for under $10. USDs! I have been eyeing this for some time and thought why not? Lucky me. This is unimaginably beautiful and complex! I dont really get Boudoir. Thats England. This is Arabia.

Its pure perfume oil to begin. Rose absolute like this is very expensive. This is a complex, potent composition that like all great perfume, takes its time and develops over the hours. I cannot think of a western perfume where the florals are so prominent. Then real oud (agarwood) appears. Its not the cheap synthetic rubbish from say M7.

Agarwood is exotic and relaxing. Its ancient and precious. This is my first first exposure to Taif rose, however. Its vivid and very pink, not unlike damask rose. Then familiar jasmine supports the composition upon real sandalwood. Stunning.

I have always been drawn to the exotic and this is that magic carpet ride to the genies palace in the clouds.

10/01/2012-This has uncanny resemblance to Boudoir!

mzfiguer

I can attest that the review that says Nebras smells like Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood without the animalic notes is absolutely true. I really like this, I think the perfume oil is of very good quality for the price. Amazing value and quality. Recommended.

Pari88

Review for the perfume spray, not the oil: This is extremely similiar to Vivinne Westwood Boudoir, although I find this one to be much better and more "people friendly". Whereas VWB can get a little too "animalilc" on some peoples skin, like my own. And, the plus, us that this little gem can be bought for under $10! Yep...great huh? I think I might have to pick this one up again.
If you are into oud, eastern types or more "balmy" type of frags like the "niche" have been producing, but are looking for something more summer approprite, I would say go for this one!

Norgirl

Ahh what a gem. this is the seocond Oil from Al Rehab i am trying and this suprises me quite abit in a positive way . it starts off a bit harsh on the jasmin citrus note . somewhat stingy. but then after a few minuts starts to develop more warmth whit aoud and sweet Rose, ahh.. i love this Taif rose sweet and delightfull. After even a little longer some vanilla is coming in. and it smells so fresh and nice.it somehow reminds me a bit off The one Rose. at this stage.
This lasts and lasts so long on skin . i put it on my skin midd day and it lasted all thrue the night and long into the morning. You only have to put on a tiny bit to get a jummy wiff around you . so feminin and delicios.
I am a little suprised that this is so fresh and clean .. I was expecting somewhat more oriental and deaper feal to it. but this is just as good for scandinavians ;)
this i defenetly need more off
Off to search for more jummy taif rose and oils ;)
oh and after being able to test vivien westwood aswell as other mention the resamblens . they are indeed very close in smell

Roma27

Nebras is such a lovely blend of Taif Rose & oud. Done really well. Very soft, delicate, light woody floral. Even though I don't get a distinct citrus smell I think it contributes to Nebras being a bit light & not the typical heady Rose. The jasmine & sandalwood settles lovely on the drydown. I thoroughly enjoy wearing this one from Al-Rehab. As Zhara has mentioned before, the oil is very concentrated, so a touch of this on the wrist & neck goes a long way. It lasted a full 10 hours. This one together with Balkis is a must try from the Al-Rehab house.

maria.de la o

Just got my first taste of the World of Arabic Perfume oils, and Nebras was my first, I got it so incredibly cheap and now I love love love Arabic perfume oils, mind you I was a coco chanel, chance and Pink sugar girl, but after trying this I am not sure if I can go back. These oils have a lot better lasting power and Nebras is very very pretty,a gorgeous complex floral with Soft Rose being the strongest note I can detect, I love this one.

nada

ebay things are not real though, but they are not false either because in Gulf everything can be bought for different price. So you get perfume oil but not as pure and as natural as you might imagine it to be. True attars can only be bought at original brand stores and at high cost. Cheeper versions are just as good:) especially when you do not know the difference...:) so enjoy whatever you can afford. Sometimes I find those pure attars even less interesting and not really worth the cost.

jeca

I don't think they are fake, but be prepared they are traditional Arabian perfumes based on the strong oud. If you are not introduced to them, they might seem too unusual ;o))
