Was excited to try this for the summer, something fresh but spicy, but it just does not agree with me. The citrus + black pepper + wood combo reminds of Lush's Breath of God (which I also can't stand). Like a men's aftershave; too sharp and headache-y.

PurlyGirl

This wasn't what I expected. All I could smell was the pepper and something really bitter (the artemesia?); it completely overpowered the tea, to the point that I wasn't interested in seeing if it settled down into something I'd like, and I washed it off after an hour.

Smeraldina77

I have being wearing this fragrance since 2003 and I love it! It is fresh, delicate, musky, very ethereal and elegant. Of corse it is not a strong, intense fragrance, but it has a presence and I can smell it on my skin for 3 - 4 hours, which is not bad at all for an eau de cologne. I find it so calming and comforting. It is perfect all year round, I really do not see it as as seasonal fragrance. Of course, if you are looking for a strong, long-lasting and super projecting fragrance, this is not.

Jennamarie81

One of my favorite musky scents!! I love this! Yes, it smells like it's related to Elizabeth Arden's white tea. But it's missing that slight screechy-ness/harshness that comes with the musk in white tea. This is so much more refined.

FragheadMo

I like this a lot, but it lacks a bit of smoothness. I found it a bit harsh on skin, but the tea, pepper, clean musk along with the floral notes create a beautiful mix.

I have clicked the 'OK' ikon, but that's really not correct. I would click 'dislike' but since I cannot smell this at all on my skin, I don't know whether I like, or love, or hate, etc this cologne. Eau Parfumee in the title is misleading, I might add. I wouldn't even consider it a cologne, since I'm assuming a cologne is something you could actually smell. Worst $100 I've thrown away in 2023.

PalmSpringsTammy

I received a sample of this and fell in love with the scent. I bought a large bottle of it, and for some reason the fragrance just wasn’t as wonderful as the sample. I still enjoy the scent, even though it only lasts less than an hour. The sillage is about an arms length. A bit overpriced for a perfume that doesn’t last long. Oh, well.

diego.lesgart

It i belongs to a marvellous collection: Eau Perfumee ... I wore the fabulous au The Rouge too. The Blanc that was in the shops in 2023 has a poor life and envolves less than the 2016 (different box and bottle). Opens and continues anissed, misty and humid but became into in a fresh mist but then It dried down ... I feel it is a cousin of Eau de Lalique, I think both go for the same vain.

junimo

I think I may love this one forever.

This was my signature fragrance through my early years of college. What struck me most was the tea note with that bitter orange in there -- perfectly dry, deliciously salivate-y. Then comes the bite of cardamom with pepper, and a soft, cozy dry down. Longevity was always lacking though.

I don't feel there is a season designation for this, and I do feel that it's unisex. I gave the rest of my bottle to my father and he loved it just as much. Absolutely beautiful bottle as well. Soft to the touch, foggy, heavy, elegant.

I like this fragrance, but I think I might actually like Eau Parfumée au The Vert by Bvlgari slightly more than this. I found this fragrance slightly too green, aromatic, bitter and spicy for my tastes in comparison. I think that it must be the fairly strong artemisia and pepper in this, combined with what seems to be a stronger dosage of cardamon and coriander than Eau Parfumée au The Vert.

I'd say that there is less of a floral element in Eau Parfumée au The Blanc too, since the jasmine, orange blossom and rose in this order of prominence to me are only really very faintly in the background of this fragrance. I don't get as much amber and wood in the drydown too. I'd say that this perfume is more powdery and musky in the drydown on the contrary than Eau Parfumée au The Vert is.

I still get an aromatic tea aroma from this, but it's more like an earl grey tea fragrance or something similar than a green tea scent. I also have associations with the fragrance section in an understated luxury boutique more than I do of a spa. Maybe a café in the south of France too. It's even more of a warm weather fragrance to me and it wore very close to my skin. Its longevity was still moderate at 6 hours though, just like Eau Parfumée au The Vert.

I think that you could also almost wear this fragrance anywhere (both men and women) and that it wouldn't offend anyone in the least, thus being a great fragrance to wear to work! I still don't think it has as much of a personality as Eau Parfumée au The Vert.

Regardless, I'd still give this fragrance a well above average 7/10.

Oh my word! Where have I been? Did I just discover my signature tea scent!!! Did I just realize that my skin even appreciates tea scents? Are there better than this tea scents? Lemme know! This is gorgeous!!

Simon-Alexis

I found it smelled very synthetic. I have the same problem with Bvlgari pour homme…”

Maleficent's cotton candy

Feels luxe to be so light. Hot tea in the waiting area of Ritz-Carlton’s spa.

TDSollog

This is a polite, work-appropriate "skin scent" for me. Soft and quiet. It will become a bedtime scent for me.

YourFragranceFriend

This fragrance is beautiful and addictive. It smells like it could be pumped through the vents in a fancy mall or hotel because it's so refined and pleasant. It opens with a green tea and herbal scent. It feels plush and green. As I wear it, the spices come out yet stay cool, fresh spicy. There's a musk that backs this for the full wear but is light, not overpowering. I can't really pick out the other base notes individually. They serve to come together and balance out the fragrance so it doesn't go overly aromatic or green.

On the scale of feminine to masculine, I'd place this at exactly halfway. It's perfectly unisex. It would be a great signature scent in the summer. The fragrance lasts a moderate amount of time but sits more and more close to the skin. I like to reapply once when I wear this. It is an eau de cologne concentration, so the strength is actually good considering.

It's so good it makes me want to smell the rest of the scents in this Eau Parfumee line.

somatotrope

Really lovely, and one of my favorites as someone prone to migraines and asthma attacks from strong fragrances. Very light and soft (in fact, I wish it were stronger) so I'd highly recommend this scent for work or other occasions where strong scents may not be tolerated. I immediately get a very authentic tea and bergamot, like a soothing cup of earl grey with no bitterness. The spicy notes are subtle on me, adding a bit of intrigue and complexity without being overwhelming. The floral notes are soft and beautiful. On me, it dries down to woody notes and jasmine, not particularly musky.

I usually don't go for unisex scents as I find they sometimes lean more masculine, but I definitely think this could work wonderfully on everyone.

The main downside for me is longevity, which is maybe four hours on my skin. However, I find that it can last on clothes for much longer.

lanabroz

Pleasant and safe summer perfume, but nothing unique, stays very close to skin and doesn't last long. 🤷🏼

mirrorghost

first off i get tea, orange and a strong, synthetic and unisex musk. the musk takes over on my skin as woody notes and pepper come through as well. personally, i think i'd prefer this if the tea was stronger and the musk was lighter. not terrible but i've found other tea scents that work better for me personally.

Xela_529

This is truly a remarkable white tea scent. I love it. It doesn’t have that bitterness that green tea scents tend to have. This is light, airy, and a little spicy. I spray my bed sheets with it too! Loveee

BudgetBoujie

Love this. Cardamom is a dominant note in this and I love it. The orange, bergamot and tea all support it beautifully, with a light floral background. Decent projection and stellar longevity. A good choice if you like Floraiku's I Am Coming Home but find the performance lacking or the price too steep.

Amy Budiman

It's way too bitter (for me). From the 1st initial spray until the very dry down. Not a fan, at all. If you're really into unisex perfume this might be the one for you.

MatchaCat

Soapy, clean white tea. Lightweight and linear. Easy to wear. Office safe. Not strong but long-lasting. The Vert is the same as this one but greener, like with green leaves. Feminine leaning. It's nice.

Smell: 7 out of 10
Longevity: 7 out of 10

For reference, I'm female.

Rory75

Great clean scent, although it's marketed as unisex it is lovely on women.

QuincesI

Well, not as superficial as I expected. Actually calm and serene, although this tea note seems relatively artificial to me (I mean, it's a note I know from perfumery, but my real tea every morning doesn't really, really smell like that). Maybe it has something to do with that fat/bitterness idea, yes, indeed.

The little plus of this perfume, without which I wouldn't have had the courage to comment is that for me, it's a perfume that smells like a dentist's office (a place I love, unlike everyone else). The first few minutes have something of the aseptic, camphorated or menthol smell of the mid-2000s. However, these notes are gone relatively quickly and what's left is a bit soapy/lambda for this to be a scent I'll remember.

Arlet

This is really nice. It's my first day wearing this - it smells like a fresh sort of soapy tea scent. Inoffensive, and not very in your face for those looking for a more minimal fragrance. I've just worn this outside in the cold windy weather, and I'm surprised how nicely it played in this climate. I thought for sure it would get eaten up by the cold, but so far so good. I'm hard-pressed to say this will last the day though, just doesn't seem like that sort of scent.

Back home now, and I sprayed Chanel no. 5 on top out of curiosity. WOW, I'm enjoying this A LOT. It's Beautiful !! The notes in my opinion work well together. In Chanel no.5 there are citrus, earthy, powdery accords that blend into this fragrance, creating a dreamy cloud. If you haven't tried this, go for it (either combo or on its own). For sure an easy reach, giving off a relaxed, clean, and put-together sort of vibe. I bet this will be amazing in the warmer months too.

butter2

beautiful tea musk hedione ,light/subtle spices .. + almost reminds me of mellow chamomile + hay...slightly..smells like part of my childhood (who cares)

Karen.M.OShaughnessy

Ordered this recently after using the sample hair conditioner my brother left behind after a visit. I used to wear this, along with Au The Vert and my favorite Au The Rouge (discontinued). It’s a soft, sweet and spicy scent that isn’t overwhelming like some are. It’s perfect to wear anytime.

sakecat22

This is creamier and sweeter than I expected - especially in the gorgeous base. On my skin, I get a floral musk, heavy on the orange blossom, tinged with tea (for greenery) and spices (pepper, cardamom, coriander seed are all there). The perfumer somehow managed to create an airy spiced tea scent without going full on chai. Dries down to a fluffy clean white floral musk. This is not a scent I would have picked up by name alone - especially since I'm not a huge fan of tea scents. Worth seeking out for a smell and skin sampling.

Mutrike

This is just so beautiful in every way, I remember buying it bottle after bottle in the 2000s. I gave me strenght, comfort, energy, elegance... everything I needed back then in the beginning of my career path. I was stunned that something could smell so perfect and make me feel so good about myself. The bottle is chic and pretty as well, as clean as the scent itself. It wasn`t that expensive back then, I just looked at the price and was pretty surprised. Also it is not available in Northern Europe anymore and I guess just in USA?

Sweetz99

Full disclosure: I'm one of those people who sweats a lot, and no amount of deodorant sticks or perfumes can prevent that sticky situation where I'm tired and a sweaty mess, probably around my work day ending and then, I have to meet someone. And I don't smell very good, probably? And a deo stick simply won't do.

This scent is my savior at those times. I always carry a mini/sample of this one. And it delivers.
The very first note is alcohol, citrus and tea, which makes me feel clean, and a little bit in control.
And then in less than a minute it dries down to this really GOOD Jasmine/tea/musk/amber hybrid which is so delicious and not at all overpowering. Just GOOD.

And it's perfect. It works - I've asked everyone who would give me an honest opinion and it does.
And when I wake up the next day in the same clothes, I still smell the base notes (and maybe a whiff of tea?) and keep sniffing it and smiling LOL.

BONKKER

This is feminine leaning! It's a nice scent but not what I'd want to smell like. Good for a bathroom fragrance. Soft, clean, white.

abbieclark67

I wore this yesterday at night and honestly it was just so good.

KöbiD

I must admit that my first thought was that this fragrance’s performance was low, even for an EDC. However, I soon realized that its musky / woody / citrusy wafts softly dance around my nose throughout the day, especially while being indoors. Even the next day, this scent still radiates from the clothes that came in touch with it. Unfortunately, the lovely tea note is very soft and disappears fast. Essentially, this is less of a tea fragrance to me, but a musky wood one with a light citric freshness.

ckorp8

A beautiful soft tea perfume. Didn’t last on my skin unfortunately. It was gone in less than an hour. On clothing it just turned into an ambient scent almost immediately (couldn’t smell off the sprayed spot) and created a bubble of tea scent around me for about six hrs. Nice job but could have been better if it lasted longer. Can definitely be used to add tea or increase the tea note in other perfumes.

ryoshiho97

This has generous tea scent with hints of white floral. I didn't pick up rose scent at all on my skin. This smells fresh and clean. Because of the white floral scent, I can see how people would quickly categorize this as a feminine scent but it's still giving me unisex vibe.

lickthetins

gin & tonic that settles nicely into a crisp tea. white crystals, clean linen, bright sun in cold air. somehow invigorating and soothing, like the right balance of caffeine and l-theanine or a solitary walk in the winter woods. clears the mind.

AR13

I absolutely adore this. One of the only fresher/cleaner fragrances that doesn’t give me a headache. I really wish it lasted longer and projected a bit more but if you spray a lot and touch it up that does the trick well enough. This is unisex but if I smelled this on a man I would have a hard time keeping my nose to myself. On the fence about buying a bottle because of the longevity/projection.

DiscoPolga

Not my cup of tea (lol, I couldn't resist). It smells quite vintage imo, a little sweet and a little soapy. It doesn't give me realistic tea, instead I get a lot of musk. If you're after a soft herbal musky frag, try this one.

cpeck

For when you want to smell like someone's expensive wife but don't want a gourmand.

realitygreene

Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au The Blanc is a pretty simple and straightforward scent. It's a woody tea scent with a slight whiff of clean laundry. I have a sample and tested it out for the first time yesterday. At first it was strong and smelled of alcohol, but after 10 minutes it mellowed out and I got tea, some woodsy notes, and a bit of a laundry vibe. It kind of reminds me of a fancy hotel. This scent is pleasant and I could see it being a daily driver for someone who wants to remain inconspicuous with their perfume choice, but it's not particularly one that excites me. I'll use up my sample for sure, but I don't think I'd buy this.

washudtoj

Forget the notes in the pyramid above. Here's what you're getting:

Top, mid, base: tea, musk, and a tiny hint of light wood.

This is a very linear fragrance, and to my nose, I don't get anything else apart from those three notes. Funny that some manufacturers list maybe 24 notes but only a few are perceptible whereas others list a few notes yet there are certainly more (usually nasty ones like ambroxan) lurking.

Also, I don't know why this is marketed as unisex. I like to think of this as a more introverted and more feminine version of Omnia Crystalline (I know... like Crystalline isn't introverted or feminine enough.) But to my nose, it smells feminine, with no sillage or projection and poor longevity.

But I'm not complaining here. Bvlgari made it clear that this was to be Eau de Cologne, so I'm judging it using EdC criteria.

And I like it. Quite a bit, come to think of it. It is pleasant, inoffensive, and even though it is short-lived, it is good whilst it lasts.

I see that it competes against Elizabeth Arden White Tea as well as Omnia Crystalline. Compared between these three, I'm afraid those two would win against au Thé Blanc in almost all departments, except one: as far as true, realistic white tea scent is concerned, au Thé Blanc takes the cake. (To be fair, Omnia Crystalline isn't meant to be a tea scent but whatever, it's got the same soothing calming vibe that I love.)

I'm glad I got a mini sample of it and didn't buy a whole bottle. Whilst I like the scent, I feel that it is too intimate and short-lived for me.

If you're thinking about blind-buying it, go ahead, but only if you can accept its non-existent sillage and terrible longevity. If you like Omnia Crystalline or Elizabeth Arden White Tea, you're also going to like this scent.

skiergirl24

Heaven in a bottle. This is clean fresh sheets, a comforting hug, a kiss from an old friend. Innocent. Simple. Clean.

joyfulday

Sometimes you want exactly this - fragrance detox still wearing a fragrance. Just out of the shower, clean & crisp. Unisex. "I woke up like this", kind of)

emmy_isk

I'm so upset that they discontinue this one :( It's my Top 1 perfume of all time. Fresh, clean, relaxing and super elegant, I just can't stop smelling it.

menopalu

Such an addictive fragrance. I can't stop smelling it. Opening is very herbal and smells like nothing for a while. Drydown comes as a powdery, musky, clean, fresh skin scent. It is beautiful. And the bottle omg is gorgeous.

Atomikbomb_

Oh my goodness. A sweet Fragrantican recommended me try this and I'm so glad I took her advice!

This is very, very relaxing, beautiful and somehow unique. I can see why it's a sort of quiet cult classic. I also see why it's compared with hotel products or lobbies, I think of warm towels delivered to your room!

The strongest note to me beside the tea itself is the cardamom, this is a lot warmer and more comforting than I expected. It toes the line between clean and warm expertly.

Like many things I'm impressed by, this is an older creation and displays a more thoughtful process of creativity than most current releases. It's not watery with the same brand pear&vanilla that most fresh fragrances fall into now.

Longevity is around 4 hours (at least on my skin, but possibly longer on clothing). The sillage really isn't as strong as I wish it would be, but it is a cologne...so...

chillyfeet

This is exactly how I'd imagine a perfume to smell if it imitated "an open window with a fresh breeze". So lovely.

Callista25

Fresh clean musk. Good for when you want to smell clean but non-offensive: gym, yoga, etc. Unisex and well priced.

poohbearwinnie

Save your money and buy Elizabeth Arden's white tea instead. It's cheaper and is basically an exact dupe for this. Very clean and smells like white tea.

soniantunes

Beautiful! Don’t underestimate this Bvlgary scent. It doesn’t ‘vanish’. It transforms in your skin and you may not sense it but its there all right.
Same kind of Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume or Mojave Ghost from Byredo. Love and have this three

gmaster

Exactly what "justlikemagic" said. I'm a tea lover. A huge one. I tried this fragrance wanting to love it and I even almost sprayed another one over it 30 minutes later because the smell completely vanished. I am used to fragrances evolving and transforming on skin but this one really just vanishes. Will be returning.

(P.s. I was completely disappointed by Sephora with this purchase. I purchased the travel size and it came in a cardboard packaging that had "SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE" written on it. I mentioned that to the saleswoman who agreed with me that that was an oversight. Paying $37 for a fragrance that was given for free as a 10 mL sample? No thanks.)

justlikemagic

Opens with a strong tea note and disappears almost instantly. I actually don't even feel like I can leave a smiley here at all because I don't feel like I get past the top note before the fragrance evaporates completely on my skin.

sakura28

Beautiful warm and inviting white tea scent. Simple, easy, fresh, clean. Stays close to the skin. Wish it lasted longer.

nbailey9

This is a beautiful, warm, inviting scent, but it lasts for about half an hour, so I only wear it to bed. What a shame.

Yannuzzi1

This fragrance has captivated me since I was 13 years old, The ritz used to have it as there provided samples of soap. Nothing smells like it and I love it, Ive smelled its counterparts, example au the vert and It doesn't compare. Its unfortunate it doesn't linger long but thats not the point its a dopamine inducing scent when it does, Its clean and captivating evoking luxury.

rithacha

If you’re familiar with the Westin signature scent, this is it down to a tee. White tea, slightly musky, slightly green. Translucent and fresh, yet somehow warm at the same time. It really does remind me of walking into a Westin lobby and inhaling that gentle reminder that you’re at a high end hotel, encouraging you to breathe deeply and relax.

ekowala7

This is a very pretty white tea fragrance, very light, woodsy and bright. This is one of my fav tea fragrances, I would compare this to Atelier Cologne Oolong Infini (though the AC is stronger and lasts longer) and a lighter white tea version of MMM 'Tea Escape'. If you're not familiar with tea scents or you want to explore a light woody scent, this is a great offering.

Longevity I would equate this more to a body splash, 2-3 hours - if I'm lucky. Silage is soft.

Overall 6.5/10, if you can get this for a good price, I would recommend it. Otherwise, there are longer lasting tea fragrances on the market.

Coquita

Very clean, elegant, musky-tea unisex fragrance. It's pleasant, but not remarkable; reminds me of fresh-ironed linen. The opening is heavy on the musk and pepper, but it tames down to a more flowery concoction in the late dry-down, which I like a lot more. Even though it's a skin scent, it lasts a fair amount of time (6 h so far). I'd say it's perfect for the office (or whenever you want to feel squeaky clean) in any weather but winter.

6/10

stacia79

I first smelled this is the form of a bar soap and that's exactly what the perfume smells like... clean soap from a high end hotel, lounging on fresh linens, snuggled in a fluffy white bathrobe. This is what the babies of aristocrats smell like I bet (I don't know any aristocrats so I am just speculating). It's a nice sharp but still like green tea scent, very quality. The musk and black pepper give it a cool minimalist aesthetic. I enjoy this, it's subtle and calming.

Peaches_

I blind bought this so I can’t comment on much, longevity, silage ect.. My first impressions are good, I love the smell. I do think it is an intimate smell for days spent hanging out at home being cosy on the couch. I think for the right setting it can be extra intimate. A smell I want to keep on smelling when it’s on me. Calming, balancing. Fresh and clean but cosy and moorish at the same time. Before I received it I read the comment about a grandfather vibe. I get that. But it doesn’t put me of wearing it. It does smell like a rainforest but I am assuming it will smell amazing on a summers day also. I saw somebody post saying they think the fragrance doesn’t last long, as in they become “amnosic” but others tell them they smell great. I hope
this is the case because honestly I like this smell so much I want others to be able to enjoy the lovely fragrance as well. I might edit this comment when I have tried it properly and report back. So far I am happy I blind bought it. My instinct was on point with this one. Amazing packing too. I love the bottle. It’s only a 75ml but I am honestly thinking of buying the body lotion because I really enjoy the scent. I am usually in to sweet fruity fragrances and i am still on the hunt for a new sexy date night perfume but this is more a day/night in hanging out with your BF watching movies and fooling around. at present I really enjoy this and would recommend if your not looking for something to be to in your face but once you get a whiff you just want to get all up in it. This is the one.

pjspaceshit

This lasts literally 20 minutes on me. Then it's gone forever. It's a pleasant peppery clean scent, but with this kind of longevity I don't see any point in seeking and owning this fragrance, especially since it's discontinued and very expensive in my country.

plum

I have a quite old sample which only states "Bvlgari Eau Perfumee" but I believe is that one.
It is absolutely lovely, very calming and comforting. Not sure if still available at shops but would love to have a full bottle.
At the beggining I can smell tea and some other notes I previously found in Bvlgari.
Shame it doesnt stay long but is just some kind of cologne, to refresh you anytime you need it.

MrAbbas

I get the tea smell but the scent is very faint and so close to the skin. fleets quickly. Not for me and I don't recommend it. Maybe only good for a quick refreshment but not a perfume.

Addict2Perfume

Eau Parfumee au The Blanc by Bvlgari captures an ambiance! When you smell this you are transported to a luxury bathroom. I know that sounds silly, but it totally makes me think of those modern million dollar bathrooms you see in magazines. The bathroom is the size of four bedrooms and everything is white, there is tons of glass, chrome, plenty of sunlight, and exquisitely cut designs. The Blanc is a soft slightly woody musk mixed with pale tea and has a nice peppery kick that stops things from smelling too sweet, keeping this fragrance perfectly unisex. I can see a man wearing this just as good as a woman can, it’s a universally pleasant smell where both the person who wears it and the people around them are sure to enjoy the scent. To me it does not matter what I am wearing or what time of day it is, this fragrance is always a good choice!

sonialloyd

22 12 2019 : just found this jewel, im so happy, it reminds me my twenties in 2007 when i used to live in Istambul for my studies, it was given as samples t
In hotel s rooms because i was at the time working in a luxury hotel Brand and the smell litteraly captivated me ... fresh, comforting and bright ! The kind of smell i d love to keep for myself

Petals_and_Perfumes

11/12/19 - I lean towards clean, fresh, and I guess now with trying this frag it’s confirmed I also like feminine notes because this is very much unisex, if not leaning a great deal towards masculine. On my skin, I get a petroleum oil note, mixed with the artemisia, tea, pepper, cardamom, and woody notes. What lifts it to unisex is the bergamot and bitter orange but I do not get any orange blossom. I do get hints of rose and jasmine.

It reminds me so much of how my Grandpa used to smell. I have no idea what he used for shower/fragrance products. I bought this because I wanted something to wear that was work-safe because I work in the healthcare field and I need something that smells clean and fresh. I can’t wear this because it smells like grandpa. With this frag, I’ve realized I want to smell feminine too.

fleurdejuin

Sprays on a little harsh but dries into a fresh, clean scent. It almost smells a sort of mildly sweet tea, a little peppery. Probably best for spring/summer but I also like this one after a shower! It's a relaxing sort of scent and really reminds me spring linens.
Lasts so much longer on your clothing than your skin. If I spray it on a shirt, the scent stays for a day and becomes softer and smoother.

periquito89

I left it aside for a long time, just for it to become, today, one of my favourite fragrances. And I think it will be for ever. It is gentle, calm, elegant, I just can't call it tea, unless I´m talking about the sillage, which unfortunately behaves gently as well. Wish it could last a day long smelling as I just had sprayed. Well, I guess it is its purpose. One of the best from Bvlgari.

It reminds me a discontinued Ponds white tea & clay facial wash, soft and gentle and made my skin routine something to look forward to.
When a perfume evokes such poetic language (like all the reviewers below) you know you’ve got something special.
Try it!

Judespeak nailed the review for this perfume, indeed!

The only thing I'd really like to remark upon is Au Thé Blanc's amazing longevity. I get a solid 24 hours when I wear it- skin-tight, of course, but very much present.

Martaynd

JUDESPEAK, you nailed it!!!! Bravo!!!!!

Wigston

Though the Eau Parfumee may only offer very modest sillage, I find that in its body lotion format it makes for an excellent base layer to woody aftershaves and EDTs, whereupon it has a more noticeable presence.
All in all a delightful fragrance, albeit a mild one.

yaya09

Just blind buy.
Nothing grounbreaking. It smells like a cup of tea. But you need to stick your nose to your hand to smell the fragrance after 20 minutes max.
After 2 or 3 hours, I can't smell this fragrance.
Zero compliment until now.

men and women can wear this fragrance.

Don't buy it if you have to pay more than 30 €/$. I paid 50 €, it's definitely too expensive for the duration and the global effect.

Edit:
I confirm, after 3 days, i ask few people, nobody can smell it, it's a intimate fragrance, detectable if you spray a lot (6-10) with air flows!
Whereas, this fragrance may have a calming effect on tea lovers xD

jswift286

This is like heaven in a bottle but very light. My wife sprays it on her hand to try it. I want to keep smelling it, but being so light, I have to take her hand up close and smell. Maybe that's a good thing? It's seducing and addictive, but makes you come up close and personal [seductive] to get another whiff.

I like what the reviewer below, Judespeak, said that it is a suggestion of a scent. Another reviewer called Bvlgari a better-than-your-skin-scent

scentsuelle

This is my go to work scent. I find many women have a very shoddy understanding of what is a suitable scent for the office, especially in the area of open office spaces and desk sharing. This one is classy, inoffensive to most noses and professional while also being delicious.

Izzy78

I first got this fragrance in 2013 in duty free going to Thailand.
It will always evoke the memory of waking up in my room overlooking the palm tress, smelling the rain and greenery..It will always smell like a fresh shower, exotic aventure, fresh sea breeze. Like being on a boat and then scuba-diving and viviting serene white sandy beaches..
This is the best scent ever, the smell of paradise, crystal clear awakening, calming, pure and happy.
I own a few niche fragrances and there will be many to discover and all lead me to some place else, like maybe a dark jazz club in case of a particular one.
But this one- it is the ultimate higher consciousness experience, and if there is God or Goddess..that is how they would smell; divine.
I cannot believe from reviews how underrated it is as people go for what is advertised as sex and this and that.

Now if you want to feel good for yourself and uplifting, this is the one.

The word that comes to mind when I smell this is "luscious". This is a surprisingly complex fragrance and extremely comforting: think of soft florals, fresh linen, tea, and musk. Best worn for oneself, not for others: the sillage and longevity are quite weak. I love taking a long shower and dousing myself in it after toweling off, before my skin has completely cooled and dried. My boyfriend loves it; it's not a sexy fragrance, but an intimate one, good for cuddling and reading after nightfall. This may work in the daytime too, but I'm afraid it wouldn't project enough, so I haven't tried it. Very inoffensive, so could be a good work fragrance as well. I recommend buying the 5 oz bottle if you can find it. It's quite beautiful and well made; the cap is incredible! On the whole, this a fragrance to sigh over...

Suzkmarsh

I can definitely see the similarities between this and Elizabeth Arden's White Tea. If I were to choose one it would easily be EA White Tea in both smell and price. Hope this helps someone deciding which to try.

SOFT COMPLEXITY / POOR SILLAGE
______________________________________________________

I received a sample of this, after buying another fragrance.

AU THE BLANC stars and remains soft - what's wonderful about this fragrance is that it develops over time. After some time, the note of tea (the softly dominating note of this fragrance) gets some company by the other notes, especially musk and pepper. But be careful not to interpret something wrong: you won't find the pepper of other fragrances here, here the pepper is very soft and slightly noticeable -> a softness which is characteristic for this fragrance.

Some Fragrantica-Members were/are offended that people have called this fragrance week or simple -> but each nose and brain perceives the notes differently and this is why, we shouldn't take offense at other's comments. The fragrance was supposed to be soft and slight - and Jacques Cavalier delivered! It caters to those people who don't even want to wear Eau de Toilette, because it's too strong. For those people, this Eau de Cologne is perfect.

And this is why this is a soft and complex masterpiece!!!

Longevity: - 2/10
Sillage: - 1/10

All in all: 3 out of 10 subjective points -> because (to me) it's unique. It's not my cup of tea, especially because of the poor sillage, but to each his own.

chanka

it is interesting how many people get confused or better corrupt by the name and the bottle :)

this is not just clean soft and fresh

it is quit complex with many spices (coriander, cardamom, pepper)

it is warm (amber, musk, jasmine , rose)

and little bit fresh by green tea notes

it can be worn in winter and in autumn, evening and day
it is not soft fresh citrusy summer cologne

but warm spiced tea musky clean scent but in different way

This is a very luxurious fresh scent with a lovely hint of musk! I love it!

If you want to smell like clean skin and nothing else...this is your scent. It smells like clean skin, towel dried, right out of a hot shower with 'citrus & tea' scented bar-soap. Soft, close to the skin. Perfect for those who are sensitive to scents. Something I imagine doctors and nurses would wear. It sort of reminds me of Elizabeth Arden's 5th Avenue After Five, except After Five is sharper, stronger and not as gentle. Both have that clean, sterile scent that evokes white rooms, white curtains, soft fluffy white towels, body lotion and ovoid bars of white soap...a little creamy, a little powdery, refreshing but not sharp, white tea, gentle citrus and light musk. Soft, clean, clean and clean. Unisex, but leans feminine. For a scent so light it's barely there, it has impressive longevity...I get 6 hours on my skin, I can smell it though others can't. Perfect for the warmest of summers.

vega_012

Bvlgari Au Thé Blanc is a favorite of mine. I received a small tincture of the mini last year as a gift, and wore it on a trip to Norway. I was camping there, and really appreciated the simple, clean scent of this fragrance. The scent is light, soft and unobtrusive. I love that it is just enough to turn heads, but not enough to overwhelm. A girlfriend of mine remarked that she could just catch a few of the soft notes on the wind, and asked me what I was wearing, which is a nice thing to hear after a few days on the trail. The notes in this fragrance that stand out most to me are orange blossom, amber, tea and musk. The pepper is there, but it is not overdone. The truth is, this fragrance evokes a mental picture of Water Lillies, and a sense of calm for me when I wear it. It’s great for a rainy day, when moisture in the air holds it on your skin and carries it on the breeze.

äppelpaj

I love the vert, but I'm absolutely anosmic to this scent.. it doesn't smell like anything and I really wonder what others are smelling in this. It really bothers me that I can't make out any kind of smell from this :(

diego.lesgart

Nowadays in shops smell like the original from 1992 ??? or is reformulated, smell different?

dsty

I love Eau Parfumée au Thé Rouge from this line, which is why I wanted to test this one as well, even though it doesn't look like my thing at all; musk and spices in prominent places in the notes pyramid usually make me dismiss a fragrance on sight. But I'm so glad I made the exception, because I was surprised by how much I actually like it.
This must be the cleanest, most "pure" scent I've ever smelled - "white" really is the word for it. It's very well blended, and the individual notes aren't really discernable, which is just the way I like it in this case: the musk isn't animalic at all, and the pepper isn't especially spicy, they just mix with the tea to make a fluffy cloud of clean but not sharp freshness. Elegant but also very comfortable, and great after a shower, as some reviewers have pointed out.
For such a light scent the longevity and sillage aren't bad either, which makes it an even better candidate for summer wear, for both men and women. It still doesn't really feel like "me", and II already have so many scents that do, so however much I appreciate this I probably won't get more of it. But I'm very glad I tested this - it's certainly broadened my taste a little more, and I won't be as quick to dismiss musky scents anymore.

Crowleysviles

My personal favorite , this smells like my childhood memories all combined as a scent. Hazy pastoral fluffy smooth misty white tea.

Poff

Soft, serene, skin zenscent. I wear this one for me.

Midnight Lady

Very clean and refreshing greeny scent. Tea combined with pepper and musk. Works great together. Perfect choice for hot summer days.

The musk gives it some depth as well, so the smell gets quite attractive at some point.

Overall it's great and well balanced creation from Bvlgari. But I would say it's slightly more feminime than masculine.

Lishypants

My favourite of the line on papper only, but honestly I have better black pepper scents. I thoughg I would love this line, but its not jiving with my chemistry.

More green to my nose that The Vert version. Unfortunetly I had high hopes for Tea notes in general but its not working atm

lucia.lawson

The simplest soapiest most innocent and straightforward of all the Bvulgari Tea themed fragrances. This parfum can be worn day to day at work in a public environment an office school hotel airport airplane anywhere. The matching soap and hair conditioner and shampoo was my first intro to this scent. I first smelled it at a hotel in Milan Italy the Principe di Savoia. This was a very milky clean fresh scent with a nod to older white floral stuff almost but not quite like my beloved Fracas. It is white floral though the white flowers are not singing high notes but humming a chorus.

The opening notes are redolent with citruses and greenish herbal scents. My nose detects the scent of the bitter orange like a strong oily orange juice spilled on a wooden table. This is not too powerful or otherwise it would have been furniture polish. This is instead a very perfumy tolerable citrus based intro. The bergamot is quite delicious and evocative of a light citrusy white tea. The orange blossom is lovely but not quite the orange blossom I experience on other fragrances. This is more bitter orange to me. The bitterness matches up with the subsequent and developing notes of tea. Smells of both a jasmine tea and a ginger tea. The spices are subdued next to the jasmine but one can still catch whiffs of ginger cardamom and coriander spice notes. Lightly spicy and safely floral. There's a white rose note in there as well.

Finally the dry down is a clean very clean white musk smell with wood and amber. The amber note is not as big as I would like but it's there as are the woodsy notes. There's a clean soapy effect to the dry down. This smells like freshly laundered clothing and clean shirts and clean skin. It's not a white themed fragrance for nothing. Smells of pristine white clean things - clean white blouse or suit, clean marble floors clean bathroom counters clean hand soap. So ultimately this is an easy to wear daily day wear scent to wear when you want something no nonsense and simple. It's unisex despite the jasmine and rose as the prevalent note is the white musk in the end with the right amount of tea. Heavenly. I can't wear this without the matching soap and conditioner/shampoo. Great for after your shower or bath.

★★★★

This is a fragrance that is in love with my skin. It blends so well with my natural smell it's unbelievable, and I am saying this since I have smelled it on a couple of friends as well and we all agreed that this is really one of those scents that changes according to skin chemistry.

This is a fantastic natural smell. You can feel the delicacy of the tea, the romance of the white floral notes, the warm quality of wood and the cosy super clear musk.

But this is not one of those fragrances that you actually get notes. It is one smell where all notes made something incredible, and let me elaborate...

This smells sensual, fresh in a lacustrine or pool water way, romantic and undeniably elegant. Whatever is in that bottle is of high quality.

This is the perfume I'd wear in Japan, because it is soothing, disciplined, minimal and stylish. Also, it projects softly, which is great because usually people don't wear fragrances in Japan, or at least sillage bombs. Whenever I'm wearing my geta sandals, this definitely is the fragrance I'm going for because it really makes me think about the beauty and serenity of Japan. (Kenzo Pour Homme also does this to me)

I am giving it 4 stars only because I would like it to be a tad stronger. In order for me to have the desired effect, I use the whole product line, I'm using the shower gel, the body lotion and then I spray the EdC on my clothing. All those together are quite a high price, but it is the only way for me to enjoy it and get the longevity out of it. I don't mind the low sillage, it fits in its minimalistic concept, but I want to smell it on me for more than 3 hours, and the EdC on its own doesn't do the trick.

In conclusion, one of the most elegant, effortless and soothing fragrances I've ever smelled, the best out of the Eau Parfumee line, a fragrance that is unisex but can be more interesting on a guy because it is not an obvious men's cologne type of scent, therefore it will make a nice surprize.

Make this last longer and the 5 stars will be earned in a heartbeat!

Au The Blanc is for time spent with yourself. It's relaxing, meditative, and transparent. The spices add a slight edge of sophistication. Sillage is close to skin. Good for yoga or snuggling up with a good book.

WildDove

A sophisticated, minimalist skinscent. White tea, white musk, pepper, clean linens. Suggestive of large, open, clean spaces. A scent for when wearing white cotton clothes and walking on the beach.

ballerina77

One of my favorites. It was the only I Bulgari perfume I bought after Omnia EDP (dark orange bottle). They really got it right with Thé Blanc. I had this one back in 2006 and then couldn't find anymore, until last year. It was a very good surprise to have it back. I simply love this fragrance: it's clean, sexy, fresh and spicy at the same time, and green. I think it is a sophisticated scent, discrete, the kind of perfume you wear it to yourself, it's like air. Its scent is nothing alike Light Blue, but a fragrance that you have to come close to smell is very appealing to me. Not overpowering nor invasive, for sure. I could sum it up to a breath of fresh air in a bottle. Soft silage, it lasts for 4h on my skin. Fresh, discrete, elegant. What's not to love...

carminaburana

OMG! I LOVE this fragrance so much. I cannot believe this was used in some hotels...it is quite expensive right now.
Anyway I love the way it smells. I only wish it lasted longer. I like to spray it on my close to dry, long hair. My hair smells so nice after that. I love the fresh, pepper, white tea flours smell. I tried the green tea perfumed water but I didn't like it. It's the white one that got under my skin. They say it's unisex, but I find it quite feminine. For my it is more of a summer fragrance.

esteban747

Today I received a sample of au the blanc, sincerely I never heard before about this perfume and I also thought this was a women fragrance.
It starts with a light undefined floral then it gets sort of powdery/musky similar to a baby powder.
It feels like a composition that tries to please both sides, the feminine and masculine but in the end it stays in a safe and unremarkable position. Sillage seems to be minimal.
It's a clean scent, EXTREMELY safe to wear. If I find I good deal I could definitely buy it but for $100+ I'm not so sure.

BlackAmberMoon

My least favorite of Bvlgari's tea line. I like au the Vert and au the Rouge, but this one lacks personality and just smells blah to me and has no longevity.

TheVal

What can I say?I'm totally in love with this scent. It's like a little miracle,a fragrance that is fresh without being citrusy,an airy fragrance, calming, ozonic, alluring. The musky drydown is wonderful, and gives a comforting sense of cleansiness. It's purely WHITE.In my opinion it's suitable both for men and women, but I think this fragrance is more appreciated by the feminine gender.A masterpiece!

cvaile

This is the one that opened the world of Bvlgari scents to me. Like many I first smelled it in my shampoo at the Ritz Carlton and was utterly mesmerized.

I recently bought this for my fiancé for Christmas, and I've assured her I won't use too much of it because she is head-over-heels - as she has some days when strong scents like her beloved Dior Addict can give her a headache.

For a lighter scent that will still turn heads in amazement, look no further.

toni64

Wore this perfume today, still deciding if i like it or not? Thinking maybe a little masculine for me. Also reminds me of CK One

maryvonbilodeau

Wonderful clean scent with a hint of pepper but it's not overly spicy. It is musky but it's a light musk. If I could get my husband to wear a cologne this would be a contender but it doesn't read unisex to me. This is a masculine scent. It's not an old fashion/classic mens scent and it wouldn't be odd for a woman to wear it but I would still think she got it from the men's section (which is, of course, totally fine).

ScarlettX

I like the scent, it's very nice and natural smelling. Smells like spicy tea scent.
Luxurious and expensive smelling, classy.
It has just a little bit of that masculine tone to it, but mostly, it's feminine.
A bit soapy, but good in every way.
Suitable for someone who is elegant, loves natural scents and luxury.

vintage_scent

I really love this! To me it smells just like a rain in the early morning...the drops falling on garden tea leaves ...so ozonic. Very realistic, if I close my eyes I could swear it had just rained, cleansing the air with freshness. A very beautiful tea scent to wear to feel relaxed and cooling.

Just lovely. Very much a fragrance of outdoors and nature...

Rianna

A very pretty fragrance indeed. Perfect for Summer. It has that same pleasant waft like Infusion de Iris by Prada. Smells innocent, clean, feminine and pure. If Angels existed and they had a perfume, it would be this one. Simply lovely. Lately I've really noticed the difference in the quality and composition of perfumes. There's such a difference in the cheaper celebrity scents and the ones that cost a bit more. I really would rather pay more and smell like this than have four cheaper different smells that just remind me of candy and toffee apples most of the time.

FumeL'ver

I just got this. It's very light and airy. Definitely smells of tea and clean sheets to me. I love it although you do have to re-apply quite a bit because it disappears after a couple hours. I honestly don't mind reapplying. I guess I love fragrance way too much to care. This is something you don't have to worry about over-spraying. I initially got this because I owed the body lotion first which is stronger in my opinion but smells equally amazing and they would pair well so I suggest layering both the lotion and the fume if you want it to last a bit longer. Over-all, this is a clean, quiet, sirene, spring/summer fragrance. Or the type you'd wear before bed. I like wearing tea fragrances in the summer. This is definitely something I'd be wearing throughout this season and to the beach along with my other beach fragrances which are more tropical, marine, salty.

I am a little confused about the packaging and colors. The one I got has a silver cap and the lines on the box are of the same color but some I've seen online and on fragrantica, they advertise both the silver cap and a golden cap with gold lines on the packaging. Is there a difference or does the gold even exist?

Cauda Pavonis

Cleanly floral with an understated musk base note. Fresh and light, almost not there (it *is* an eau). Clean and inoffensive, subtle.

appleorchard

Faint, peppery, barely there, fresh scent. I tried this because I love the White Tea by Westin line. But White tea by Westin still smells a lot better :L

antigone26

Smells almost medicinal - peppery notes mixed with an earthy scent. Very bizarre and not quite sure whether I like it or not. Doesn't last very long on me, and is very subtle - not my cup of tea.

Lovyduby

Love, love, love and one more time love this perfume:D And they say I have a good taste ( :

Lizka7

Beautiful scent, very light, floral, is close to the skin, just divine. I smell orange, bergamote and rose in it. The sent is very airy, inviting, crispy fresh morning, bright sunny day kind of perfume. I would say it would work best with gauzy white linen dress. It has such a youth appeal of innocense. I love this scent very deeply.

hippiechick13

This makes me think of a brunette moving barefoot through the afternoon rays of a naked, worn wood floor, opening the windows to let in rural breeze. Linen shirt, old favourite jeans, and a cup of tea steaming on the table. There is an elegance to this to be certain, but also excitement, freshness and that just showered, hotel soap exquisite feeling. I really, really like this and it's a fragrance I've had in the edge of my thoughts for some time.. I really quite love the smell of shampoo and clean skin, even laundry, and this seems to quantify all those scents into the one fragrance, while still being striking and feminine and perfume-y.

This you could get away with in most occasions - it would be something unexpected and seductive in winter and icicle-cool and bright on a summer's day. I really do get a relaxed, comforting vibe from this one. I may ... dare I say it.. have found a signature with this.

mutatismutandis

I like the tea range but I'm agnostic on this one. I think it's more feminine than masculine. The bathroom range that went with it had a body lotion which gave me a filthy headache yet the soap was lovely and clean and fresh. The soap was so nice I used it sometimes to lather up for shaving. The cologne itself is pleasant enough but I don't feel like forking out the money they ask for it.

Malonet9189

This is my signature scent and if I could buy it by the bucket, I would. It just smells THAT GOOD! What does it smell like in one word? Petrichor. Brings back childhood memories of smelling the scent of the first summer rains in the savannah climate. Its simple, delicate, light, soft, clean and just sexy. Damn it! I love it!

The Swedish girl

Ammonia + cardamom + pencil shavings + plastic.

I had high hopes for this one, since everyone seems to at least LIKE it. It sounded perfect and clean. But no... what is that urine smell? Is it pepper?

klb4556

This is an amazing fragrance!! I will always love it.

Au the blanc is probably the one that will work for more people than the vert or rouge. It's so light, but at the same time, you can catch whiffs of it without it giving you a headache.

I smell a lot of the "tea" part which, of course, I'm supposed to. But I get a really relaxing, therapeutic experience from it, which benefits me so much because I have anxiety. Just smelling my wrists throughout the day with this on helps me keep calm and recollect myself.

The longevity isn't very good, that's my only negative. I can spray twice within a 15 minute time frame and it's like it just disappears pretty fast. For that reason, the bottle lasts less time, and the price isn't quite justified to me. It's something to definitely look at, one that's great for all times of the year, the office, church, anywhere where you'll be around lots of people because it's so calming and inoffensive and you're sure to get compliments!

So for me 6/10

ellina1984

The amber is quite strong, and turns this into a mess on my skin (amber usually does). Strong for an Eau Parfumee. Definitely test before buying. If this is too strong, and you were hoping for something airier and calmer, try Eau Parfumee au The Vert.

racb

Light, soft, slightly sweet.

This is a lovely combination of ozonises, green and fresh, with a slight sweetness of white flowers and a musky undertone.

Very wearable. I can't imagine anyone not liking this perfume.

5 stars from me.

I'm going to edit this to take a star off. I'm left with one word neon lit - "insipid".

Sorry Au The Blanc, you sit on my skin with all the promise of a chisel jawed hunk in a dinner jacket promising me the night of my dreams...... but then three hours later I'm left with the kind of guy who makes you go Dutch and then thanks you for kissing them.

The love affair is over before it has begun...

aomth

this is my signature fragrance.
Soft sensual. Not long last.
Good for work.

margarita.angelova

One of my most loved ones. I had this when I was 13-14-15 and ordered a sample recently to enjoy some time travel.
It's so ethereal and divine, soft, relaxing and at the same time classy - unlike other two from the line, this I find more suitable for social activities, especially office wear.
I will be buying a second bottle soon, it deserves a permanent place in my collection.

pauroj

it is very soft, incredibly soft to the point were you feel like you are not using perfume at all and then sometimes you'll catch a whiff here and there, is a very pleasant skin scent , sillage is almost none existent , omnia is a powerhouse compared to the blanc

genny17

Thé vert is more unisex to my nose than thé blanc, which is powdery, fresh and musky, and overall quite feminine..when thé vert is more leafy and citrusy, therefore more unisex..
I had thé blanc a while back, just not too much my cup of tea, too powdery fluffy whitish ozonic for me..
I gave it to my mother in law, which loves it!!

wesleyhclark

I'm sure there's a difference between this and au the vert (which I like), but I'd have to have them on side by side paper strips to judge.

I like this one, but, wow, is it ever light! I tried a sample on myself and it just sort of disappeared. It's way too subtle and dainty for me.

stephb

I tested this today. I really didn't like the opening notes. I almost wiped it off. I found it very sharp upon the initial spray. But after 10-15 minutes, it became softer...comforting even. I note the scent of tea along with something that makes it lean a little masculine on me. But I still really enjoyed it and kept sniffing my wrists. I'm not sure if I'll buy it since it did head in the masculine direction. But it's one that I may try a few more times in order to decide.

MoreScentsThanSense

Well, I liked this one much more than I expected. I'm not a big fan of tea fragrances and funny enough Eau Parfumee au The Blanc is more of a white musk scent rather than a white tea scent.

Have you ever soaked oat flakes in warm water? I adore this gentle, sweet, soothing, milky scent. Eau Parfumee au The Blanc smells very much like that, only fresher and slightly spiced. There are subtle floral nuances and some soft grounding wood in the drydown (driftwood maybe?) but it's the musk that dominates. Not an animalic musk here but neither particularly ozonic/soapy.

Smells closer to high quality toiletries like a luxurious shower cream and fresh body lotion. May be too simple and tame but I find it relaxing and soothing, gives senses a rest. A totally genderless skin scent. Thumbs up from me.

Nikkafragrance

White tea is my favourite kind of hot drink, so I was curiuos about this scent. I expected this to be quite masculine, but after trying it I absolutely fell in love. This perfume makes me feel so peaceful and calm. It's very subtle, perfect for business meetings. The reviewer who wrote that this scent feels very zen is totally right. And last, but not least the longevity is superb.

chanka

pure, fresh soft clean tea and tea scent
very original and beautiful
it is scent scent if you find yourself in the close room or in car and some put it too much it wont bother you :)

DanielleC

Every liquor shop I've ever walked into has this smell. Maybe it has something to do with the dark wood, the smell of glass and dust; the liquid shadow at the back of every shelf.

Like Dior's classic, Diorella, it is a fresh scent, but I would never call it, "clean." There is a lingering closeness that reminds me of the bottom of a bottle... A sustained sweetness, like the memory of a night left behind. Like a hot breath on the window of a taxi, jeweled with rain; or slept in bed sheets, crumpled and very white.

Anyway, that's how it wears on my skin. Gets into my hair too. Reminds me of when I used to smoke.

I've just ordered myself a small bottle of it. I've put it off for months because I'd like to believe I'm more sophisticated than that. Couldn't resist though.

Something about February makes me yearn for it.

ver jaina

I've been hunting this fragrance for sometime, the only way is to blind buy it since they dont carry this line in my country. I loved the smell of White Tea bath products at Westin hotels & some blog reviews said this is quite similar.

Bought mine from FragranceX, arrived within 2 weeks time to my house. Overall packaging seems legit. It was also my first purchase from them so i'm a bit anxious.

Now this is a straight white tea peppery fragrance, i kinda liked the silage but unfortunately not really resembles the White Tea Aloe bath products. Sniffing close to the skin, it got even musky peppery. Very neutral & clean. Good for everyday where we don't think much about what to wear.

Edit: The longer it stays on my skin, the similar it is to that Westin shampoo....yay! I literally bathed in this yesterday & the scent stick onto my clothes till the next morning...mission accomplished! :D Although i not recommend sniffing this very closely, just enjoy the wafting aroma.

raw umber

I recommend Eau Parfumee au The Blanc by Bvlgari to those working in the healthcare industry, and to anyone with a no-perfume policy at work, or for that matter to anyone who needs to spend time with their perfume hating family.

Eau Parfumee au The Blanc wears like a skin scent and is a pretty, sparkling, natural-smelling, mild-rounded white tea scent with a hint of cardamom and an even tinier hint of black pepper. It does indeed smell like a tea-scented soap, or lotion. It is gentle but not weak. It projects very well considering it's a cologne. Very soothing. Longevity is decent.

The tea note reminds me of the jasmine green tea fragrance which was released and then discontinued by L'Occitanne. This is a very nice fragrance indeed, but I personally like my fragrances to have more heft and presence than this one does, though what this one DOES do, it does quite well.

Martaynd

I love this! It is a cologne and not a perfume, therefore it doesn't have longevity. I prefer to wear it to bed. It is very clean and fresh smelling. It also has a calming effect which is why I prefer to wear it at night in bed. To me, it smells like a very clean, fresh, floral soap.

genny17

My mother in law wears this, it is crisp, refreshing and powdery..I can imagine it is refreshingly nice on a hot day..that said, it isn't anything I like wearing, it has its place though in the perfume world..maybe it smells a bit aseptic to my nose..like what a hospital nurse would wear..but it isn't smooth, or feminine, it lacks something..reason why it is clean and cool..could a guy pull if off!? not sure..maybe..but a bit powdery for a guy.

rickyfreaky13

If i could rename this, i would call it HEAVEN. That's it!!!!!

Maine_girl

I just wore this again after a couple of months, and it was like coming home. I had forgotten what a calming and lovely fragrance this is. Although I love it any time, I have to say it comes alive in the warm months. The combination of pepper and white tea is so fresh and clean, and unlike anything I have smelled. This is by far my most complimented fragrance. Although I feel like I can't smell it on my skin after a few hours, my husband often tells me how great I smell when I crawl into bed at night after having worn it all day with no reapplication. This better not ever be discontinued - I don't ever want to be without this fragrance in my collection!

babypink_fairish

This is love and love is easy.
I almost used up my second bottle of this and I still am really in love with it.
It's an easy choice for any day when I don't want to think of what to wear. It's breezy, non offensive, even calming. It smells good and clean. I love love it.

Now I really have to consider buying a different fragrance. I'm still hooked on this one. *sigh*

Elisa S

It opens with delicious milky, fresh tea with a hint of spices (cardamom and peber) and citrus. I wish it could stay like that. But unfortunately for me, the musk soon sets in, together with a perfumery-soapy hint, and takes over the scent. It doesn't get bad, but for five minuts it had such a nice, natural smell..

pinkchevalier

Wow, maybe I smelled a bad tester but the initial spray made me really gag. I think something about it has that chinese medicine mix scent - probably the combination of wood and spices. It smelled astringent for me which is weird because it's tea-centric with clean musk. I'm going to assume something off was with the tester...

The drydown was better - a bit sweet and warm but with that lingering woods and chinese medicine smell. I've had similar odd experiences with bvlgari so maybe their formulations just don't suit me =/

Redbeard

Honestly, this one has been really hard for me to try and describe, probably because it's on the weak side. It starts out as an almost grassy aquatic, but with a honey-like sweetness that you only notice at the end of each sniff. The vague, transparent leafy-flowery musk that sets in is pretty unisex...it gets my kudos over unisex scents that lean too far to one side or the other. While it doesn't smell like the original Bulgari Pour Homme per se, it's very similar in being a "stealth" scent, as someone recently commented in the forum. By the end, the leafy musk starts to pick up a bit of an overripe-flower edge, which I could do without, but it's not enough to annoy. It partly resembles the reedy or bamboo-y basenote that I like in Allure Edition Blanche, the new Guerlain Vetiver, or the new Eau Sauvage, but is slightly sweeter like AdP Colonia Intensa. I definitely recommend at least trying this stuff even though (or because?) I don't really know what it smells like. Just be prepared to apply a fair amount.

Labaloo

So nice. This would be in my top 5 skin-scents, definitely. Sparkling top, followed by graceful herbal notes softened by dry spices sprinkled over soft woods over a clean base of white musk warmed delicately by resins. The vibe is very-similar to 'Ecko' by Marc Ecko- they're not the same, of course: ATB is much-brighter with citrus, and Ecko has a prominent note of anise- but the feeling... like a fresh breeze without any obnoxious aquatic facet... like really good-smelling laundry. I know this is traditionally a daytime frag, but the effect is also striking at night- even in cooler weather- blending well with the night-time air and moonlight to create an aura of subtle light.

Sillage: about 2 feet/.6m (soft/moderate)
Longevity at 70F: 24+ hours (citrus notes amazingly hang on nicely before falling to trace after about 12-14h; light, "clean" musk skin-scent with complex wood-and-resin minglings remains after the 24-hour mark)

One of Bvlgari's finest.

almostgreta

I love this perfume. To me it smells like a combination of spring and winter: silvery snow with green shoots growing out of it. It's very simple, but not simplistic; it never runs out of things to say, so to speak.

Irishys

Bvlgari Eau The Blanc was introduced to me at the fragrance counter. I was looking for a nice, light "day" scent to wear to work. I am a nurse and cannot have heavy fragrance on when I'm working with asthmatics.

This is such a clean, light scent. Fresh without being soapy. It just smells great. The downside is it doesn't last that long on the skin, but you can re-apply and not be overwhelmed. This is my favorite casual daytime scent. It's just easy.

tneequeenie

I had the good fortune of winning this body lotion and wash from lookin4happy . My son and I both used it during his hospital stay. My first impression was it was a nice, fresh scent, nothing special. I used the lotion since I didn't have a chance to throw a perfume in my bag. All day long I kept smelling this wonderful scent wafting by anytime someone would pass. After a couple of hours I finally figured out it was me! It went from zingy fresh, to a clean comforting, snuggly fabric softener scent. I mean that in a good way too. Very understated classy smell! The lotion lasted all day too. I definitely think it is worth a purchase!

SolangeN

Can't smell anything but white pepper all the way through this. Exactly the same top-of-the-sinuses seasoning you use for cooking. There's a nice musk in there somewhere, but the pepper overwhelms it for me.

But then again I can't detect much of anything in most of the Bvlgari's. Their Femme literally smells like faint rose water for me. Except the dark green The Vert Extreme, which is beautiful. Guess I'm missing out.

acep

It was my signature scent I liked the fresh spiciness to it, It wasn't powdery that often came with musk and spice and it wasn't citrusy, aquatic, or gardenia-y like other fresh scents.
Now I buy newer bottles and it just smells more like musk with some whisps of clean, green, spicy notes.

indorm

It reminds me of the flavour of a white tea I recently had in a tea shop in Omotesando, a glamorous part of Tokyo - a brilliant recreation. I love it: tea with a bit of white floral, and totally unisex. I think my very stylish son in law might like it, and if that's the case, my 5 ml sample is his.

shanghaifleur

This is soft like a whisper. Very gentle, give it a few minutes past the lemony first blast and it settles into a clean, almost fresh like a soap scent. On me, this is more a skin scent than a fragrance, and longevity is unfortunately too weak. My preference still goes to Eau Parfumee au The Vert.

Toom_Snoopy

Dried tea mixed with herb, not feminine at all.

laughingbird

My skin tends to amplify the musk in scents. The top notes were very soft, light, airy, and sweetly floral. The flowers intensified and then dried down to fairly prominent musk on me. There were still some sweet flowers but they stayed close to the skin. It was like two separate scents, one a wafting animalic musk, the other a soft floral skin scent. Au the vert was better for me - more green, very fresh, no musk.

IsaIsabella

Bvlgari Au Blanc opens up very aldehylic. White tea, with pale flowers and a touch of peachiness.
As the scent mellows, it becomes evident that beneath the white tea leaves, is the occasional sprinkling of pepper to give a spicy, salty edge to this scent.
An hour later, the pepper disappears and the mild floral tea takes center stage.

Verdict: An easy to like scent.
Longevity: 4-5hours

eam

This is a scent that could become a signature smell -- one that fits closely to your skin and is almost natural, yet lets you exude the classiness of someone who wears perfume. Great scent for every day use, very chic without being floral/girly. Simple, understated sexiness.

diego.lesgart

Love it in autum or springtime... as a delicious tea but the main ingredient is anis...
An original cologne!

gracenote-floralspice

Am snuggled in bed, oscillating between fb and fragrantica and then hankering and hopefully soon reaching for the good book someone mentioned. Am wearing this fragrance as I write.
Lovely. There is a white still Arctic minimalism to it. Something uncomplicated. Something like pure light; white linen on a turned down bed; Even a white or creamy leather sofa or settee, inviting a guest to glide into it and rest there comfortably. Somewhere in its settling on my skin a woody note rises and becomes a part of the white stillness like Arctic ice melting in the spring and trees, grass and other foliage are finally released from the grip of an icy Arctic snow-gloved hand...

As for tea? Milk? Not much of that.

Very clean; classy; elegant.
Perhaps not the one I would where to the Awards ceremony, the President of the braille authority's dinner, the evening out with my significant other on our 18th wedding anniversary -

nonetheless - a classy summery and wonderfully relaxing scent - ready for calmness and stillness brought by nature, security.

orangehaze99

I can't pick out any one single note from the list, but I would never have guessed there was anything "green" about it. Natural yes, green no. Well, to me anyway. It is an extremely lovely scent, and very unisex, nonetheless. Just beautiful. I'd love a bottle or bigger sample of this!

Merebon

I don't usually like green scents, but this one is lovely. I hate scents that come up green like cut grass when you first spray. This is a light, touch of warm green. Crisp. Sunny. Mellow.

abi-ilman

this is a perfume i looking for. im a man, i also wear euphoria intense by ck and very irresistible by givenchy. au the blanc makes me feel comfortable, relax and warm with its scent.

cherry_lips

I smelled vodka at the start of this scent, but next it became very soft and light, mostly feminine.Suitable for summer and spring time.

Ihab

It is like aroma therapy to me love it ,but its not easily
available in the gulf any more

almondbreakfast

To me,

this is so 2013! or "my" 2013.

Pure and holy, subtle and close to skin.

Tea, rose, jasmine, coriander, musk.

It's truly unisex, clean, detoxyfying (that's what I call it). Perfect scent to start the day. Perfect scent to relax at night.

Score: 9/10

-Mr. Almond-

veronicab

Very soft and woodsy, not too sweet. The first tea scent I've tried and it wears nicely. I like it but it doesn't wow me so won't buy a bottle. I agree with some reviews that it can be unisex because it is so mild but not too musky like most mens. I'd recommend giving it a test next time you walk by the counter.

curlykitty8

This is an exceptional fragrance which evokes a calming joy that is hard to describe!
Most Bulgaris leave me cold (I do like the Rose Essentielle as well) but The Blanc is sophisticated, discreet, joyous and close to the skin.
A treasure!

Clyn11

So soft cozy...close to skin, and very classy. I normally don't wear perfume to bed but sometimes I wear this for comfort. I love it! Longevity is not very good though, so be prepared to re-apply

mum84

يلائم ان يكون رجالي اكثر ..من عطور النظافه يحمل بصمة عطور بلغاري

millie1980

I have a mini bottle of this fragrance. It is so crisp, pure, paper white. A little too masculine for me - would smell great on a guy. But maybe it would work for me on a really hot summer day. Shame the weather in England is so rubbish :-)

cris.n

I love this perfume. At least the version when it was launched. It smelled so strong on me and I was complimented when wearing it..Now I can't find it anymore. The Omnias have taken first place on shelves..

hesione

I think the chemistry must be so wrong between me and bvlgari. I really want to like this scent, the white tea smells so good, but in the end it smells obviously plastic on me.

Lolita7

I'm in love with omnia crystalline, so, of course I like the blanc.

It is a soft perfume, nice, calm. It's like a hug, a gentle caress.

Sillage: 6/10

Soy una enamorada de omnia crystalline, asi que, como es lógico the blanc también me gusta.
Es un perfume suave, bonito, calmado. Es como un abrazo, una suave caricia.

genny17

This is nicely done, my mother in law wears it in summer, it is calming, refreshing like an ice tea, but also smells like a fluffy powdery cloud, so for me not my favourite, but I recognize it smells good on a hot day. Great scent by a great nose, Cavallier. It is a staple for summer.

maryum.malik

SO long lasting. i always get a lot of compliments from both boys and girls.

sofoubiz

smells like mum <3

Ejlgsp71

Oh this is lovely, delicate, fresh, inviting, yummy

melia

I just tested this at Douglas today on my hand, and it immediately made me think of one of my best friends... Her signature (and when I say signature, I mean that's really the ONLY perfume she ever wears and ever buys) is CK One. It's clean smelling but in a very soft way, and even though it's soft, the staying power is quite remarkable! I'm even still smelling it on my hand after 4 hours and washing my hands. So overall a positive vote: just like CK One an unisex, very easy to wear, clean fragrance... But I like this way more than One, due to the soft feel and better staying power!

Damag

Wow! I'm at a loss for words! LOVE THIS FRAG! It's so fresh and delicate yet elegant, stays very close to the skin after an hr. Or so with a quite dominant tea note, I find it very beautiful and uplifting, this beauty is one of those fragrances that just lifts up your spirit and makes you smile! Def. Spoiling myself with a bottle for my birthday♥

Sassy1

Finished up my mini bottle today...I layered it with Tommy Girl and they complement each other nicely.

By itself, I would rather smell Au the Blanc on a man...too masculine for my taste.

TanteSimone

One of my two favorite tea fragrances, the other being Jasmine Tea by L'Occitane. I like that it is mild yet has a great enough sillage. Love the pepper notes and the ambergris dry down. This is what I was hoping Creed Silver Mountain Water to be. Unfortunately, that one is a major scrubber.

jedikitty

This one is an interesting one... With all the notes (as listed), all I get is white tea and musk, both in rather generous amounts. Perhaps, a molecule of amber and orange blossom, too, but that's only happening when I smell it right out of the bottle. None of these other notes ever come through on my skin, and it seems to stay that way for the duration.

Actually, it might be a good thing. A linear fragrance is not always a bad thing.
Many times in the past, I've got a seemingly great fragrance (out of the bottle, or on paper) but, mere seconds after I applied it to my wrists, it turned into a stinky sweat kind of smell, a smell I'd rather not wear on purpose.

So, back to Eau Parfumee au The Blanc; it is nice and clean but rather weak, a perfectly "safe" work/school/casual date fragrance. Do not let the word "Parfumee" in the name mislead you; it is only an EDC (2-4% concentration of scented compounds), so, pretty much designed to smell weak. So weak, in fact, one could probably bathe in this one... but it does smell pretty.
If it was (much) cheaper, I would consider getting a big bottle of it.

Lasting power - barely 2 hrs
Sillage - non projecting, close to skin only.

Forgot to add: It does smell a bit like CK One on me, especially in the drydown. Weirdly enough, I could never make the actual CK One work with my skin.
And, I think, Luxatron and Miamiami were right saying men seem to love this scent! My dear husband does not care much for perfumes, always says the scent is too strong (I apply very, very sparingly), and never compliments me on the 'fumes I wear but, this time, he did. So I just scored a nice, big, boxed bottle off eBay :)
[scurries off to hide the PayPal receipt...]

melanie

For me this is a very feminine fragrance, gentle, pure, milky as already said. I think more for daytime, as if you just take a shower, it's kind of too simple for the evening. Almost all Bvlgari fragrances are very lightweight and wearable for all occasions and an excellent choice as a gift.
And most importantly, I forgot to mention I mostly avoid floral woody musk, au the Blanc is truly neutral.

luxatron

I sort of bought this on a whim because all of my perfumes are winter/fall gourmands and I felt like I needed something fresh and clean for the summer. It smells like white tea and pepper with a big dash of musk. It actually reminds me quite a bit of colognes marketed to men, which may account for why men (supposedly) love this scent on women. While this is a summery perfume, I'm finding that the musk in this can make the perfume feel a bit heavy, especially if you've got a headache. Spritz with caution.

neptune1121

From start, to the end, I just smell this lovely elegant tea scent, mixed with a bit touch of white flowers. I've been looking for this kind of tea fragrance, finally found it, and LOVE it!

Karen.M.OShaughnessy

Second Bvlgari scent I tried--liked it better than Au the vert.

amber23

First time i tried it in a hotel where we stayed, they had guest soaps and shampoos in the rooms. I used the shampoo and conditioner and that smell was just so light and beautiful, it stayed with me all day and i just fell in love with it! The perfume had also great staying power and was definitely ozonic.
One of my favourites.

micah.mcgahee

Bvlgari The Blanc (White Tea) is a very nice, casual, fresh, clean scent. It's very smooth and very relaxing but tends to stay close to the skin. The notes of tea and pepper are the only notes noticeable in this fragrance, but they are nicely blended. I enjoy it. Sometimes I spray my sheets with it haha It's relaxing and helps me fall asleep :) I definately reccomend! :)

8/10

God Bless!!

kathy_g

Very calming and safe perfume... but lasting power is weak.

cveta

Lovely,lovely,lovely!My favorite!

fath1ma

Cool and gentle for the first sniff that comes to my head, then my brain's memories find tea and jasmin's scents which I always love verymuch. This is not a special perfume for who likes spicy, tart. Not for seductive husband I guess lol :D but good for mind relaxing, somebody that unconfident or feel uncomfortable...
add:
Soft scent
Good longevity (skin + clothes I wear >6 hrs)
Sillage > 1,5 metres (no wind blows)
Fresh (My hubby loves it)

AveParfum

This smells like a million other tea perfumes out there. It smells identical to a green tea room spray my mom has. I feel extremely unemotional when thinking about and talking about this perfume. It's that uninteresting.

madamn

For me the salty note is so overwhelming in this perfume that I can barely smell anything else. But there must be something more about it... right?

nattonline

A quiet and gentle scent that is beautifully made. The beginning smells like white jasmine tea (white tea is the lightest kind of tea). The tea note gets stronger and slightly more woody, but the synthetic musk takes over the whole thing in no time. The rest is just a mild musky floral that is so pleasant to wear. Don't expect a monster sillage or projection here. Its just a type of fragrance to be enjoyed by wearer and few of those who are close to you.

LaGari

This is a beautiful unisex fragrance that's fresh and cozy at the same time. Its like a soothing cup of spiced milk tea on ice for me. It feels so cool and comfy to wear.

channmya

feel like eating candy in a igloo. Cool and sweet

onlineallday

Plain musky wood/tea scent. It's nice, but this cologne is way too light for me. It's so sheer that I can hardly smell it. If you want to invest on a bottle, get the biggest one because you may be spraying a lot.

Mebster

It's my wedding perfume actually. Now it's too powdery for me, n stop wearing it since coworker use it. But i wear it sometimes most of all when dating with hubby. Smell powdery n classy, comforting but fresh too :)

orchid_84

This starts off powdery, then dries down into a dry musky unisex scent. Unfortunately I get no tea scent from this. In fact, I would have no idea it was a "white tea" scent if I didn't read the description. The dry down is somewhat like that of Burberry Women, but not as nice in my opinion. This one is just a bit flat on my skin. On a positive note, the lasting power is quite good. I prefer Blvgari's green tea scent over this one, as I find it fresher and more tea-like.

daliflora

A lovely fragrance, very calming and harmonious. It goes nicely with a white summer dress, I believe. Very lady-like, since it is soft, elegant, and beautiful, at the same time staying close to the skin (and not offending anyone:)). But I do not really understand why it is labelled as unisex. I could hardly see any man wearing it.

Heverton

A unisex fragrance that in my view should be classified as a feminine.

At the beginning we have a dominance of Artemisia leaves, a delicate aroma, pleasant.

After about 15 minutes the heart notes begin to appear, where Artemisia decays (not completely) and white tea begins to dominate, accompanied by a very subtle white pepper, giving the scent a spicy and sweet tone. But it still remains a delicate fragrance.

At the base they list musk, but I did not feel even a little of it on my skin.

Projection? Almost zero, is a soft fragrance, delicate, which is close to the skin from start to finish

Longevity? 3 hours after using it, the smell practically disappeared.

MDWake8

I wear this when I want to feel calm. It smells exactly like white tea. Nothing sweetened, nothing tampered. BLV's philosophy on scent is that they feel that true luxury is having enough time in your day to sit down and relax with a cup of hot tea.

scentury

My wife seldom use perfume. Just baby cologne after a bath. Well, I gifted her this Bvlgari scent and now she can't get enough of it! It's unisex, but I honestly think it's more suited for women.( must be the soapy, powdery, honey scent ) However, since longevity is an issue, I rate it 4.25 out of 5.
