This was the first full bottle of anything I ever bought for myself, all the way back in 2013. I chose it based purely off the notes, my little 20-something brain doing the math and spitting out "this looks interesting." I don't even know if you can get it any more, but oh, what a gem! There's nothing quite like it. Over the years, my bottle has not lost its quality and performance: it smells and acts just as I remember.

The Iceberg Fragrance opens with a light, somewhat sharp head, that to me reads as coriander, bergamot, and a bit of pear, all well-blended. This cuts across the creaminess of the base, hiding it a bit at first. Other people tell me the opening smells like Fruit Loops -- that's not how it is to me, but I get what they're talking about. Fruitiness, milk, a hint of sugar. Fruit Loops gone luxe and interpretive.

As the top fades, the floral notes -- to me peony and mimosa, sparkling and sweet -- emerge, and maintain that contrast with the base. Though they aren't terribly strong, these stay for most of the length of the perfume, about 5 hours. The base -- oh, that base! Vanilla and pistachio ice cream, with suede mixing in and somehow becoming edible. But with the contrast maintained by the upper notes, the result is never quite 100% gourmand. Neither does it ever feel like a typical vanilla perfume, where vanilla takes over and runs wild, turning into some variation of cake and/or milk (I have nothing against this, ofc, I love perfumes like that). No, the vanilla is there, but not overriding, edged with greenery and flowers, warming but not dense or plush.

As much as I love this one, I haven't worn it much over the years. It took me a while to understand and like it -- I oversprayed it at first, wore it in too warm weather, made myself sick with it. Even now that I have come around on The Iceberg, its unusual nature means I have to be in the mood for it. But when I'm in the mood, it hits the spot every time, and everyone around me loves it.

Bedtimestory

It works incredibly well on my Mediterranean male skin and attracted compliments, the coriander is not overpowering to me and the dry down is a lovely creamy spicy. Love it as much as the male version.

dualaokto

While the pour homme version was an instant love to me, I had to give the pour femme version a couple of try before I’m sure how I feel about it. Turned out that it’s a love!

It has unique qualities and indeed a bit challenging. It starts with burst of coriander, then the fruits join followed by the mimosa. After a short while, I smell leather (more like suede), pistachio, and almond. The drydown is lil spicy, leathery, nutty, and fairly sweet. The ice cream note is there but it doesn’t turn this frag into a gourmand.

Deetron

I know this scents as one of my wife's favorites some years ago and today I found the bottle with 1-2 drops at the bottom, so I decided to finish it on my skin :)
WOW! WOW! WOW!
So, so, so beautiful and rounded scent!
So alluring and sexy, rich! So far, for me it's a completely unisex one due to powerful spicy/leathery kick in the first minutes... WOW!!!
I think The Iceberg Fragrance proved me that perfume world now is at a different stage of it's development.
Now everything is so expensive - designer, niche or whatever.
10 years ago look what we had from Iceberg?!??
Nowadays for the same kind of smell we have to pay lot of money...
Back to The Iceberg Fragrance - the gourmand notes are so well put - nothing harsh, too sweet or overwhelming and at the same time this spicy aroma with the vanilla is so captivating...
The suede note also is super refined and so well mixed!
Final words-STUNNING fragrance! It's a pity it's gone for good.

Lipglossjunkee

This is a very pretty fragrance in a nice bottle, the opening is a bit harsh--my skin pulls up mostly patchouli and coriander in the beginning and I have to wait a few minutes for it to mellow out before I can truly enjoy it. Yes, there is a warm nutty pistachio ice cream vibe to this one, but it is in no way gourmand. I can see this one shining in colder weather as it will come off more crisp than it did when I wore it yesterday. All in all, a keeper.

amanda-m-lewis

I love, love, love this fragrance. It's such a joy to wear and is very hard to find hence I don't want to use the remaining amount that I have left until I can buy another one but other then that, I am unable to pick out individual notes. However, I do think that the suede element gives it a certain something.

It's projection is moderate and the longevity is 3-4 hours but it's so nice and comforting that I don't mind reapplying

LadyPilot

Really interesting, spicy scent, the longer you wear it, the more complex nature of the perfume do you reveal. The only note that seems to slightly ruin the composition is the cloying mimosa which jumps up to the surface in the least appropriate moment but otherwise it's just great - the wood, coriander and most of all - the beautiful, naturally smelling patchouli! And the smooth mix of almond, pistachio and vanilla is amazing here - none of the three stands out - they are perfectly blended.

mayamagdalena

I'm kinda confused with this perfume's name..it doesn't suit well with its fragrance but thank God it suits well on my skin xD
I'm okay with this, the only problem is when i first sprayed this, all I can smell is the citrus note.
1hour later, i can smell the floral note. The patchouli is very noticeable on me. Because I have many perfume with patchouli notes, it becomes familiar with me.

tommy_girl

this fragrance is fully different from how I imagined it to be. pistachio?coriander?red berries? not even close! to my nose it smells like sweet fresh flowers which is marinated with a drop of sour citrus. I could not detect the flower, definitely not rose, maybe magnolia? I see that according to the notes the closest note to describe what I smell is mimosa. It smells somehow sharp and soapy at the first but after some minutes becomes creamier and lovelier(in my opinion).sweet notes (vanilla & almond I guess) are very subtle and mixed with citruses, but not nutty as it seems according to the notes.
overall, I can say that it smells somehow classic, but has some vibes of modern perfumes at the same time. It's sharper than my usual perfume taste and the real smell has nothing to do with these attractive, rare notes.
EDIT: member who say it smells all like coriander are right. after one hours it's all about a spicy perfume. very strong! smells like a mixture of Paco Rabanne XS extreme & blv Notte.

butterbean

Unfortunately this is a NO for me.

soapy hippie patchouli with a subtle nutty sweet fruity peony smell.

It starts off sweet and kind of nutty. Patch is right up front and present.... then in comes a blast of soapy herbal smell and it hit me - coriander seeds! Now I love cilantro....but crushed up coriander is very soapy smelling. As a note in perfume, coriander is not really something I want dominating.

The patchouli gets a bit stronger, its very hippie (armpit dirty patchouli). I smell some fruity something or other with quite a bit of peony. That coriander gets stronger. NO. not for me.

Galatina

My dry down became coriander. Nothing but coriander. So disappointed with the way my chemistry worked with this as it started out so promising.

Yurpdod

There is a lot going on in the composition of The Iceberg Fragrance but it still manages to have a light and airy tone to it. It is floral (peony and violet), fruity and fizzy (bergamot, pear, berries) and nutty-gourmand (pistachio, almond, coriander, vanilla) all at the same time. There are even accents of suede and musk in the background. I wish this fragrance had a little more bravado or swagger, but that's just my own personal bias towards grandiose fragrances.

The Iceberg Fragrance is a fragrance very much in line with Cacharel's Noa -- a soft, sweet, comforting, floral-musk with some unconventional spicy-gourmand notes to provide texture and interest. It is a very pretty fragrance but not really my style.

logicmuppet

Each time I spray this on myself, I think "Mistake!" because that initial blast of coriander is a doubt-inducing, nose-hair bleaching slap. BUT, let not thy faith waver! In 15 minutes or so, the coriander sinks and melds with the sweet, nutty deliciousness underneath it. It is a combination of "sweet," "fresh" and "tender leather" that I have not experienced elsewhere. It has merely adequate sillage for me, but it lasts most of the day. I don't think anyone could call it a "sex bomb" or anything like that, but one that can be worn simply for the pleasure of smelling "great."

drugstore classics

So sweet that my initial thought was of a gourmand, yet simultaneously fresh???

Creamy rich and beautiful, I smell florals and a hint of fruit, combined with sweet loveliness. I could swear vanilla and caramel are here - doubtless created by a combination of almonds, violets, mimosa, and pistachio. No one note stands out to me, rather a lovely conglomeration of charm. If it had been up to me, I would have named this pretty creature something other than Iceberg, which it most certainly does Not resemble.

In the final analysis, it doesn't matter what name or genre a scent possesses, so long as it smells Good. Without doubt, Iceberg DOES!

Thumbs UP. :D

lulu169

truly a masterpiece - too bad discontinued

czerwinski1

I used this scent several years, i can tell only one words MASTERPIECE. Smells incredible, longlasting and silage is very well. Smells very bold and rich. Affordable price, i highly recommend this marvel :):)

fyrewoman

A great blind buy. It is a lovely masculine perfume for women. Immediatley i smell coriander and bergamot. I feel like there is a burst of pink pepper in there (perhaps the pink berry note). After an hour the smell of ice cream and pistachio is prominant with leather and musk throughout the background. Just got it this afternoon and took a shower to go out to dinner and wore this masterpiece for the first time. Still enjoying the pistachio creaminess with leather in the dry down 7 hours after initially spraying. Love it. Definately one of the most striking bottles of all time.

nitschevo

Oops, I did it again. I vowed to not buy any fragrance out of the blue again but rather buy one I wanted for a long time. Well, I paid 9 Euros for 30 ml so please forgive me. After sniffing this one I simply had to. And I am even considering going back to that place to buy a back-up bottle! :D
This has to be one of the most underrated fragrances ever and I cannot see how that could happen. A shame really because I think that this beauty is discontinued by now.

First of all the bottle is gorgeous and pure class. Nice twist with the notes printed on two sides and the golden top with an "I" embossed. The scent is just as classy and after an hour I mainly get a violet-leather mix that is infused with coriander and the ice cream accord. I have smelt nothing like this before.

alchimia72

Unique, a bit masculine at the beginning. After 5 minutes it starts to become sweeter. Sugared pistachio and almonds, with a hint of coriander. Great.

raw umber

Thanks to 2746cstreet for my decant of Iceberg Fragrance. Iceberg Fragrance opens on me with extremely prominent musky pear. It's a softly sweet pear, mixed with a warm, slightly powdery clean violet musk, and an abstract almost tart floral, which might be the peony.
I think this has signature potential as it is unique, but it does not scream or foist itself upon you.

I see this as largely a pear-violet clean musk composition, innocent yet sexy in an almost teasing fashion, and while it is very gentle and pleasant, the pear is a little sweet for my taste in musks. I do enjoy some insanely sweet perfumes, but I like musky skin-scents to be more earthy/spicy, and less on the sweet fruity side. Still though, pleasant and well blended. Longevity is okay. Wears close to the skin.

Ivan22

it's definetely both female and male fragrance :-)
I like it very much

pravda48

A spicy coriander and vanilla concoction - soft, coolish spice blanket. Great for the price!

It also has some sweet/warm pink pepper and a touch of some almost nondescript fruit just around the edges (pear, or do I imagine it?). I don't get much of any other notes but this is lovely, fresh, just a bit creamy/sweet and lighthearted. Can't imagine it offending anyone, and the bottle is super cool (if masculine) looking. I enjoy it for what it is and wonder about layering it since it seems rather simple to me.

I'm gonna try to add some darkness to it and see how it fares.

musenkata

The longetivity is good but the silage is calm and mild! This is fantabulous scent!

musenkata

I think that is very interesting fragrance but not unisex. This is a feminine scent! The bottle is fantastic very beautiful, classy and stylish - very good - the bottle and the fragrance!

SS79

Just received my bottle in the mail today. This is a weird but good fragrance. I do get a lot of coriander, fresher kind of scent almost hard to explain it. The dry down is the same but with a touch of sweet but not the pistachio ice cream sweet that I wish would develop or get an almond scent. Oh well I will still wear it, it is different from any other fumes I have right now.

mhubbard

Brief update-Longevity is excellent and the pistachio note is prominent on dry down-which is what I was hoping for! 9/10

mhubbard

Oh, definitely, I do like it. Yes, somewhat different, even unisex, warm and nutty. A bowl of oatmeal your Mom prepared and just that tiny bit of pistachio. It has that definite fall leather/suede thing going on. Soft, gentle, warm, just a bit sweet...nice, comforting winter scent. This is not a big loud statement perfume of any sort. Fine for work, weekend days while you hang around the house reading and making stew. Is it sensual? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Museumgal

The first blast is a lot of coriander -- a ton, in a very green way. It's a bit overwhelming but you have to give it five minutes. Then it blends in and it becomes this delicious nut and vanilla ice cream that you're eating in your leather jacket. Delicious and still a whiff of leather every once in a while. Not too sweet though you could definitely wear it to work once the coriander dies down. Very unusual vanilla, there's really nothing else like it.

ohwellok

The effervescent powder of the suede, the deeply intoxicating nuttiness offered up by the pistachio and almonds and the slight bite of coriander and patchouli round this out to perfection. By far, a stunner but this was not love at first sniff; no I needed to come to it again after some time to appreciate the warm, comforting depth it offers up.
It is unabashed in its creamy spice notes, it wraps you up in its richness and doesn’t let up. This is a go to on overcast days when I need something seductive and unusual. I have come across no other scents quite like this little beauty and I love it for it’s strange complexities that blend together seamlessly (although you would expect them not to).

Pasaka

Nice smell but reminds me of my dad's frag by Hermes (perhaps because of dominant coriander). The only thing I enjoy in it is the bottle)))

skipster

A slightly schizophrenic fragrance that pulls in a lot of directions at the same time. Pistachio and a very green pear note become the most dominant to my nose after the opening has calmed down. Interesting and original, but not really my cup of tea.

I see no reason why this could not be unisex, it is quite powerful, it's inexpensive, and the bottle is (almost) to die for. If you like it, it's certainly a bargain.

Meena.Minka

Well, I don´t know - my impression was somehow different. I could not feel any corriander, nor peony and no red berries either. To me it is a warm, cuddly scent of almonds, pistachio nuts and suede on the very gentle background of some delicate flowers. And not much more than that. It is nice and smooth, but I expected it to be much more deep and enfolding, more sophisticated, more sexy. But to be fair I have to say I have just sprayed it once or twice, it was clear right away that this is not a statement enough for me. I gave it to my mother-in-law who uses it as a day-scent and just adores the design of the bottle :)
This one really makes a perfect gift - the bottle is really nicely designed and the fragrance is delicate enough to suit almost everyone, will not offend.
But I was looking for more ;-)

blacktaffeta

Hmmm. I actually checked to see if I'd been sent the men's fragrance by mistake. To me this is most certainly unisex.

My impression is that there is a lot of incense in here, but it's not listed so I must be getting something else - coriander perhaps. Leather is there, I guess that's the "suede". There's some sweetness, though I would have liked more of the pistachio icecream. Peony is evident too.

A winter fragrance I think - warm, spicy, perhaps comforting.

The bottle is enjoyably chunky and substantial (again, very unisex) but the lid has done that annoying thing of pulling the metal ring away from the spray part.

Overall - unusual and interesting.

janmarianna

What a lovely lovely surprise this perfume is! I bought it today blindly after the suggestions of some fragrantica friends and boy am I happy to have it! I think I am falling in love with this one! rich, creamy, sexy this is what I feel wearing it- and believe me I haven't stoped sniffing it from the morning :)

Lilii

I have not wore it enough to give a full review but up to now: this perfume is spicy and sweet and it smells a little like men perfumes, sexy, not boring at all. Both bottle and scent seem much more expensive than the price, very long lasting, on my skin a single spray lasts for more than 12 hours and on the cloths even for days. I like this one very much, it worths really for the price.

leevike

first, I have to say thanks for everyone, who have written reviews about it.when I saw those reviews, I got very intrigued by this fragrance.I tried twice to buy it on the net, but it was bought before me.. I was patient...and finally got it!
I love it...and its kind of strange, because I`m more like a "sweet-scents-gal".maybe I`m growing up:)
my first try- notes of coriander, patchouli and pepper . the drydown- vanilla, pistachio and I couldn`t help sniffing at myself all evening:).a very comforting fragrance.
it`s amazing how this scent keeps changing and keeping you exploring it.
at the moment it`s -13 degrees outside, I can still smell it and it`s still a perfect scent...
naturally, I adore the bottle too, it looks just stunning.

Action

Thank you Opa so much for your kind words!! I so love this one too!!!
:-)

opa

Such a complex and unique fragrance - never enough for me - feel I am getting addicted to this one.. I am so grateful to Action who made such a wonderful review on it and, unwillingly, made me to buy it! Many-many thanks for that, dear Mary!! I purchased it blind and it always will be one among some chosen fragrances I have found reading through reviews on this exceptionally useful web-site and so much love and enjoying now.

Abby1970

Proof positive that a fragrance does not have to cost a bomb to be magnificent! This smells unique, spicy, warm, expensive and MODERN! There is nothing sweet or candy-esque here. This is a statement perfume. I agree with the reviews that say it opens with a blast of coriander but I can immediately smell the bergamot and vanilla as well which really tames and mellows the coriander blast. It’s clean and crisp and yet warm and I love to wear it when it’s raining. To me, if ever there was a perfume made for the rain, it’s this one. The silage is very, very good and on me, the Eau de perfume, lasts a good 6-7 hours.

Aspendina

I am confused as fragrantica has one of the notes listed as "pink pepper" but the notes are printed on the bottle and there is no pink pepper but it says "pink berries". Sometimes I don't smell certain notes til i know they are in there so I am so thankful for fragrantica. when I recieved this i read the notes on the bottle and tried to stick certain ones in my head so that I could pull those out. I kept repeating to myself over and over again "pink berries, pear, bergamot, pistashio ice cream, vanilla & suede". and i guess u can say i only smelled the vanilla and suede and maybe some pink pepper even though its not printed on the bottle. So I really liked what I was smelling. A few weeks later I think I am not getting much vanilla and suede anymore, not sure what I am getting, mostly pink pepper. I still love it but it has zero lasting power and I am so sad about that because there is not use in keeping a fragrance that doesn't last; there for this is either going on ebay or getting swapped.

Dollycat

Great perfume! love the sweet mixed with the burned almond and pistachio smell, it´s so warm and cosy. I love this one and will definitely by another bigger one.
The price is also very cheap 12 euro for a 50 ml eau de parfum!

smagure

A year ago I sampled EDT version in the shop, it was nice to wear casually, but it didn't last long. So when I saw EDP bottle on sale, I grabbed it as fast as I could.
But my happiness lasted until I sprayed it on my wrist. It was so peppery, I almost started sneezing - coriander overpowered every single note, which is pleasant to my nose. Even after a while, when the pepper starts fading, it doesn't make a better impression. For me it lacks vanilla sweetness, that feminine core of the fragrance.
Though, it's more than obvious, that the fragrance is not my type, I have to admit, the lasting power and the feeling of warmth it gives are great benefits of Iceberg.

valarian

I bought this blind, liked the bottle, liked the notes and it wasn't going to break the bank.

This is quite an odd ball, it really does border on either being a love or a flop. From the amount for sale at low prices, I suppose judgement has already taken place. This is an odd ball, make no mistake but if you have an open mind and like to be adventurous without any pre conceived ideas then give this a try, you may just like this left fielder.

I'm pleased with my bottle, it’s a complete medley of notes, not refined or elegant but fun. It's exuberant, chaotic, sweet, floral and fruity all at the same time. The ice-cream note intrigued me the most and yes I get that and yes it's odd but in a nice way.

This fills a nice little space in my collection in the worthy odd ball section lol, existing for those times when you want something that isn’t predictable, something that makes you smile as you spray yourself in Pistachio ice-cream, fruit and flowers!

anneymn

I just got this in the mail, blind bought... funny I finally decided to blind buy it while I've been craving pistachio icecream :P

On my skin it starts off with mostly suede and vanilla, also a slight nuttiness. Then in the middle I get more of the coriander & it becomes a little spicy & fresh. It's a perfume chameleon!! Comforting, yet also kind of fresh and spicy. I think it's really nice :) It's unique, stands out of the crowd from a lot of other female fragrances right now.

I don't get the feeling this is masculine like a lot of other reviewers. Not ultra girly-girl (although I myself would probably be called a girly-girl, & have no problem wearing this.) but it's a little sweet and not brash or 'tough-guy' like. I think it's the very present suede note that is giving people this impression, but I personally don't think suede is manly or womenly.

I agree with other reviews that this bottle is very nice, the color is deep & the golden notes on the bottle is a very nice touch. It looks classy & sturdy. I told my husband it reminds me of the godfather movies, which he is a fan of, & he shook his head in agreement
^-^

Adrien02

I must admit firstly that the 3 fragrance I have experienced from this house has led me to the doorstep of Iceberg the Fragrance. I just had to walk in. I wonder if I should have knocked first. I find that sometimes I like this on me and sometimes I don't.I'm not sure what is making me feel this way but I will not get rid of it. I LOOOVE the bottle. It is weighty and of a very good design. Perhaps its the almond and coriander which make me not pine for it anymore than I do. Its a buttery smooth elegant take on an oriental bend and invites you in to stay awhile. The silliage is very good more than 5 hours but if you spray your clothes as well it lasts even longer. I think it works best for me in cooler weather but I won't be shy about trying it when the weather warms up. I bet it gets even more spicier then. It reminds me of Diane by Diane Von Furstenberg.

perfumeholic88

I got today 50ml of it from my husband. It´s really nice scent. I smell onlu coriander, violet and vanilla. It´s quiet strong and mostly for autumn and winter. I recommend it!

fath1ma

This is sooo GREAT!!! I can't believe I finally find the similar with Freya by Oriflame which I adore so much but unavailable now. You won't guess for the first minute, it's a fresh scent! I was so sure. I have several fresh scent that I love so when I smelt this Iceberg I wasn't surprised...Yes, it was a few months ago. And now I keep sniffing.., after 10 minutes...I smell this is just like Freya! I am searching this kind of perfume. What a scent..! Georgeus trans, from fresh to spicy. Absolutely I love the price too.. will have this one ASAP. Oh, I do love everything on it!! :D

Raina

Received a sample of this from the lovely EK, and I'm so glad I did! I probably never would have sought this out on my own, something about the notes and then the fragrance just didn't inspire me. But oh, it has caught me!

This smells very aquaitc almost, but there's something warm in the background that holds you. It's a warmth that makes you want to cuddle in closer in the background of a cooling aquatic. I cannot quite describe it now as my nose is just befuddled at how strange but beautiful the two opposite scents are together. Altogether it makes for a very interesting fragrance, and one I will be revisiting.

DresdenDoll

I was both extremely excited and nervous about testing this fragrance and now that I have (thanks to a very kind gift from member EK) I know my fears were unfounded!
The opening for some reason smells just like parma violets then there's a blast of coriander that quickly melts into a sweet nutty scent, more earthy pistaschio than almond, but a blend of the two. Peony petals are whipped in in the middle stages, but they are unfortunately brief. Vanilla and musk come out as this dries down, but that nutty spicy hint remains, amidst the creamy goodness of this pistaschio ice cream dream. This is so cosy and while a bit sweet, never sugary and the staying power is great 10+ hours. The sillage is nice and in a warm room it seems to lift off your skin into a hug, but it's never too strong. The style reminds me of Omnia a bit, with how spices are used but somewhat neutralised so as to make them smooth and inoffensive.

Santalrosa

The Iceberg Fragrance is so luxurious. It is a very sophisticated yet easy to wear fragrance, especially during these winter months. Love the way it evolves from spicy sweetness into a cosy leather/vanilla drydown.
Bought the 50ml EDP blind and it is a pleasant surprise. The bottle is understated elegance, as is the fragrance it holds within. Absolutely gorgeous.

adriana.rizzati

UPDATE:
I'm going more and more crazy for this fragrance!
The opening citrus notes, which at the beginning I didn't like so much, now are taking over my heart.
This perfume changes every minutes on my skin, and every accords of it are amazingly delicious and hypnotic to me: one cannot exist without the other, and everyone develop like a fascinating melody.
At the beginning it's quite harsh and biting (yang phase), soon after it gradually becomes hot spicy, then it develops as a warm spicy scent, and finally it becomes more and more round, dense and enveloping (yin phase). And gourmand, too!
It's different also if you smell it from near or from far: when I sniff citrus notes directly on my wrist, people around feel the smell of an enchanting incense... when I sniff warm spicy notes, people smell a heavenly vanilla's fragrance. I have never knew such a "turbulent" fragrance, it's so dynamic in time and space!
The dry-down has a vague inkling of Tuscan vanilla tobacco to my nose (although not among the ingredients), which is very exquisite and sensual to me and which makes this fragrance really out of the ordinary.
My only regret is that the lasting power is not so great as I would like to, and the dry-down is too close to my skin...
Or maybe am I just getting addicted?

adriana.rizzati

@ Kittycat63: Let me disagree with you. I get crazy for "The Iceberg Fragrance" and I get crazy for "Anais Anais" (which is not at all boring and predictable as you said). They're very different, but I love to wear both of them, in different season and in different moods.
The Iceberg Fragrance is very seductive and androgynous, Anais is more womanly and round, but both of them are very sensual, complex and intriguing in all their layers.
So, before saying that who loves a perfume like Anais is not suit to wear The Iceberg Fragrance, be careful... this is just an arbitrary assertion.

justicecrow88

I dislike this one.the reviews had me expecting a pistachio scent somewhere in there and it was simply not there for me.It has a strong coriander and swede scent that mellows on the dry down.but is to strongly spicy for my tastes.i do however love the look of the bottle.

First of all a big ''Thank You'' to a dear member that gave me this one as a gift!Iceberg perfume deserves a big entry to my wardrobe! To my nose it smells like pistachio ice cream, which is my favourite! Let me start start out better..The opening is a blast of pink pepper and coriander, after a while I can clearly detect creamy pistachio and a hint of suede. The drydown is all about pistachio ice cream, still creamy and spicy which reminds me of xylocaine that dentists use! Smelling pistachio cream brought me back memories of my childhood,I loved eating pistachio ice cream,I still do!Very well blended with a very good lasting power too!

id

What I feel the most is coriander & creamy vanilla, - very mild and powdery composition. Soft, smooth, cozy and comforting fragrance with an accord of suede. Longevity is good, 8 hours on my skin.

I'm glad to review this amazing perfume, because it's one of the most delightful surprises I had in my tour in the world of fragrances.
Two days ago I read about its components, and I was intrigued by them; yesterday I went to the shop to try it on my skin, and I was charmed by its inviting ambiguity... today I run again to the shop to buy it, and now I felt in love with it!

The most strange thing is that the first notes I smell when I splash it on my skin are a bit too dry to my nose: I think it's due to the presence of coriander and bergamot, wich are not my favorite ingredients. I usually love warm and enveloping fragrances, fresh and citrus notes are not for me.
But after few minutes this perfume begins to exhibit all its deepness and sensual complexity: it doesn't lose its biting character, but passing through the tasty flavor of pear, it involves you into the provocative, sensual roundness of vanilla and musk, smartly blended with unusual but gourmand ingredients like pistachio ice-cream, almond and red berries.
Moreover, the presence of suede combined with vanilla and all the other components makes me smell additional notes wich are not in the list of ingredients... sometimes I seem to feel the fragrance of finest blond tobaccos, other times the delicious scent of precious wood coated by beeswax... and again other times I seem to smell an intense hypnotic incense.

However, I must say that the presence of vanilla does not give to the fragrance an exceeding sweetness (like in other perfumes)... although vanilla is one of the most important components, it is well balanced by the other notes, which are contrasting and at the same time are valorising it, obtaining a unique, smoky, cool effect.

What really fascinates me of The Iceberg Fragrance is its seductive ambiguity: it has an androgynous character which makes this perfume a very sexy weapon. I don't mean that this is a fragrance for viragos... I mean that this perfume seems to connect and interweave the two opposite worlds: female and male, warm and fresh, yin and yang, in one harmonoius re-union. And this is very seductive.

I think The Iceberg Fragrance is an amazing, outstanding perfume. I'm definitevely in love with it!

Sophie.love

A mixture of pistachio ice cream, fruits, and citrus juice....but in a very interesting way.Not common.Good perfume....lov'it.

princess_buttercup

Yum! I have been dying to try this since I first heard of it! Thanks to artsymom for finally giving me a sample. I was afraid it would not live up to the expectations I had. It is no holy grail, but really is delicious.
On me, it starts very harsh and I was worried. Just a little time though, does wonders. It was pretty floral on me for a bit, which surprised me. Then it became creamy and a little sweet (and I generally don't like sweet, so this isn't super sweet). I do see why people say ice cream! I get the suede too. So very interesting!
I don't really like gourmands or much vanilla either. This I like though. I also detect the musk, which I don't generally like. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why I've been so eager to try it, or why I like it so much... But it's smooth and creamy and makes me say yum!

truffles

Received a new bottle of this yesterday.
First impression - I freakin LOVE the bottle!
Very different in appearance to anything else I have or would usually go for.
It says 70s moneyed glamour to me. Italian?
Now the smell.... after reading all the pistachio/ice-cream reviews, I was ready for something one-note and perhaps a little bland but on opening the bottle I got a whiff of.. aftershave. Not unpleasant though and not a commonplace kind of smell.
I sprayed a little bit on some paper and wafted it gingerly around.
So far, pleasantly surprised - seems quite complex - but I haven't worn this on my skin yet as I'm in the throes of one of my perfume manias and have been sniffing loads of different ones in the last few days.
Today I'm covered in oudh and Addict Shine so I am saving this intriguing smokey quartz slab for a day all of its own.
I promise I'll be back to elaborate!
Well..hmmmmm... I liked the first blast of it, but overall 1)I don't really get the whole 'pink peppercorn' thing in perfumery. 2)Yes its' 'kind of' gourmandy and gourmand on my skin isn't really my thing. 3)I don't enjoy catching a waft of this on myself or the remnants of it on my clothes.
I'm sniffing at the remnants of it on my wrist and going 'meh' and then catching a whiff of oudh from my watch and going 'ooooh!'. Says it all really.
Don't want to let go of the gorgeous bottle at the mo but decants will be up for swaps or sale!

chaosist

Decorating the bottle with ingredients-notes was really smart :)
A 50ml bottle of this is sold here in Almaty for $17(!) so I couldn't resist buying it blind (moreover, pistachio flavoured ice-cream is my favourite).

The Iceberg Fragrance is sophisticated and elegant feminine perfume with a little masculine character. Yet it is easy to wear, cozy and - dare I say - delicious. I love it!

Strange, but this fragrance reminds me my childhood in my uncle's countryside house: end of December, I come in from the frosty outside, take off a heavy sheepskin coat (it's southern Siberia), there is a smell of wood smoke coming from stove in the entrance of the house, then I move to the living room and it's warm and cosy, there is a fragrant Christmas tree in a corner of the room and a layer cake on dining table with vanillic sweet cream and nuts decorating top and sides of the cake.

PlunketNurse

Quite a nice little fragrance. and might i say amazing bottle! Something that outdone many high designer brand bottle.
THe scent itself is above-average in my opinion, not quite unique but yet a very satisfying gourmand type fragrance. The amount of sweetness is perfect to not overload but only delicately and wonderfully accentuate your skin! Opens with the coriander peppery note that is characteristic of the allure sensuelle, except this one has a smooth leathery tone to it that grinds it down a notch. THis quickly (1hr) develops into a subtler rich aroma where the barely there violets and patchouli come out to play for awhile before descending into a pure pintful of CREAMY RICH VANILLA BEAN ICE-CREAM. The scent stays exactly that of vanilla ice-cream, i love it for that fact, didnt get the pistachio note. Sillage is nice, i get whiffs of it occasionally on myself, perfect for my taste. Longevity is not the best, but i dont mind because i got the adorable 30ml size, so it s perfect for me to respritz again and again, something i enjoy doing. This is definitely a keeper in my collection.

EK

This is the most unusual perfume I've ever tried!
I spritzed at 5am, not a lot as I was going to work later. Almost overwhelming fruit opening, not sweet at all in spite of the pear. That woke me up for sure! A little while later the coriander stands out, spicy and strong, together with pistaccio - all softened by the flowers.
One hour later it was all gone. Ok, one more spritz, maybe I was too careful anyway. Now the coriander stayed on loud and clear with a huge sillage (my skin usually eats up all sillage). Very very spicy, and even more when I went out in the rain.
Drydown came in 2-3 hours, warm and with a rather masculine touch. The leather was very distinct at this point.
After yet a couple of hours, it changed once more!! Here comes the ice cream and vanilla that I didn't detect at all before!
Very, very intersting scent, spellbinding. But not a casual one, not for everyone I'd say - at least not from how it acts on me.
It's a bold, self-confident scent, not girly/pink at all. It makes a statement of strength as in when you mean business, yet inviting, warm and sensual. Try before you buy, but please give it time! So much is going on here!
It's a chameleon on my skin, almost scary, but I will come back to it again and again. I love it! Thank you onimoka for the blind swap!
After 10 hours it lingers on very close to the skin.

I forgot one thing: On the drydown I seem to sense whiffs of mint now and then. No clue why, there's no mint in it, and I haven't seen anyone else mention it..

kerini

Wonderful creamy!
Overall the pistachio icecream, suede and coriander come out the most on me but at some point or another I can smell every single note listed on the beautiful bottle. At first I get the fruits, later floral undertones and finally vanilla. I like the way it stays interesting just with subtle nuances of change, the notes slowly dancing around each other in harmony.
It lasts about 10-12 hours on me.
Not something I could wear every day but when I'm in the mood I'm enjoying it very much.

czerwinski1

Excellent fragrance! vanilla + pistachio ice cream. Perfect for winter or autumn. Wery long lasting.

Eva999

I love this and wear this all year round. It smells great in each season. It has everything I need - it's sweet and cozy yet never boring. The beginning is little bit overpowering and not very pleasant but in one hour it develops into this heavenly scent. Bit spicy, bit floral, bit gourmand and not too sweet. This is one of the few vanilla based fragrances that I can wear on a daily basis and never get tired of.

Both the bottle and package look stunning. Moreover the price is very good. Longevity? Whole day after three spritzes. Sillage also very good.

Definitely in my top 3... Every breath is a pleasure with this :-)

lyria

A bit dry to me at the beginning… and the coriander dominates most of the time. Actually that’s where this dryness comes from. I wear it, however would be happier if the coriander receded faster as I cannot feel much of the other notes. The dry-down is mild and tender – vanilla-musk like, creamy – but comes after about six hours. Maybe a better smell for cold weather? Anyway, charming in its own way.

Galya

Very sweet and persistent perfume ,I feel very well pistachio,so gurmand perfume !

LuluCoconut

There it was, sitting all alone among the Charlies and the Fancies in the drogerie - a smoky quartz bottle engraved with massive gold capitals. Oh, it's the notes-how unusual!
I was already removing the cap and spraying this on my wrist, as I was reading the notes. What a strong opening. Even with my runny nose I got the pepper and the vanilla - and there is plenty of these two in the Iceberg fragrance. The bergamot is present along with powdery almond and mimose. The nutty feel of the pistachio mingles nicely with the burnt hint from the patchouli, or is it the suede? I'll need to revisit this when I get rid of this nasty cold, so I can enjoy the entire notes panache. As little as I got, I can tell this is exciting, the type of peppery androginous, yet warm fragrances that rock my boat lately.

EDIT: Fingers crossed and nostrils wide open, I tried it again. It goes a bit too far in the tomboy zone for me,even though I like the idea. It actually lacked the creaminess that I thought I was missing. Still, it's a likable spicy floral, even though it falled a bit flat compared to my curent favorites of the like (e.g. Moschino Couture, Si Lolita). After all it comes to the personal preference.

Kittycat63

Wow, this is as intriguing as it sounded from all the reviews I'd read about it!

At first sniff I was struck by how expensive and masculine smelling it was, despite its creaminess. It smelled much more like a male fragrance than a female one (say 65% male to 35% female!) yet the creaminess of it definitely alluded to femininity as well. Fascinating! The longer it was on my skin the more its warm, creamy vanilla / pistachio loveliness emerged and took over from the suede / patchouli combination, so it began to smell more feminine on me. It stayed like this the rest of the time, and I loved it. The only slightly disappointing thing was that it seemed to fade very quickly but then I had only used a small spritz of it so perhaps that wasn't too surprising! I'm hoping that when I use it again it will last on my skin a lot longer.

I actually haven't smelled such an interesting fragrance in ages, so unlike other reviewers I couldn't compare it to anything else. It definitely has its own unique personality, which I love. I think this perfume is ideal for a carefree, self-assured, confident woman who likes to take chances and do things differently to what may be considered to be 'the norm'. Definitely, I would think that women who like to play it safe and be ultra-feminine at all times, and who like predictably feminine and, dare I say, boring perfumes such as Anais Anais and Pleasures, would almost certainly not be suited to such an intriguing, ying yang kind of scent. I'd also say that I think this scent would be ideal for men who like to take chances and aren't afraid to let their feminine side show! It could smell just as good on a man as a woman. Also, the bottle is very lovely, almost like a piece of art!

UPDATE!! Oh, I discovered that the staying power of this on my skin is pretty poor and it only lasts for about 3 hours or so and then almost disappears entirely! Also, I think it may be slightly too unisex smelling for my tastes. I still like it but I'm thinking that it's perhaps just not right for me after all. Bummer!!!

coconutpixie

i totally fell in love with this fragrance.at the beginning its strong and maculine, but later on it becomes very warm and sweet. in my opinion it smells like a creamy dessert without beeing too candy or girly. i will definetly purchase another bottle.

onimoka

MMM... Sniff Sniff....Yumm Yumm....
Masculine vibe - yes, but in a very feminine way :) Soft, a bit spicy, creamy and I would say vanilla - icecream like. Rich and good balanced. Lasting power is good ( the whole day). Good for winter, but it is good for warm summer days as well.

Edit:
It has been a cpl of weeks now and I cannot get enough of this fragrance. Using it every day. Looking for a back up bottle.

Edit:
It has been over a mth, have got a back up bottle now. Still cannot get enough of it. Is there any "drug note", perhabs, which is not mentioned LOL

wind83

the masculine scent to me. but i like it. its 5-6 hours in my skin.

thanks to my perfume seller for the vial/sample.

7/10. rate for it.

Martyna

I was really looking forward to try this one after reading about the masculine accords mentioned by some of the reviewers, but unfortunately my skin has brought out only the sweetness again.

All I could smell on my skin was vanilla-pistachio-almond flavoured icecream. There were also hints of fresh violet, pear and a little bit of bergamot in the opening but this disappeared quickly and then there was just icecream, icecream and a little more icecream. Quite delicious I must say. Definitely a pleasant scent, but just not what I am looking for in perfume.

For the first hour it was quite intense but later it sat close to the skin and lasted about 5 hours. I wish I could experience the full bouquet of this fragrance and smell something more than a boring, foody scent, but it just doesn't seem to work with my skin. Too bad.

TankGirl

Iceberg is really intriguing...I find it sweet, spicy and fresh but also has a masculine vibe. On my skin it works in a great way.
First it comes out very sweet and fresh like pistachio icecream, but then it becomes spicier and woodyer, really grown up stuff.
The main note still is pear.
It has a musky side that makes it a great skin scent. I'm going to use it carefully because its a scent that can be easily too strong for who's surronding you and yourself.
Has all pear perfumes, it reminds me a little bit of J'adore but this is a Tom Boy version of it, although after a couple of minutes it gets softer and mixed with the skin and becomes a wonderfull and different composition..oh and it gets mutch mutch dryed!
After all I like it but it has to grow on me, its a strange scent, not really feminine and somewhat different from the ideia of a women perfume should be.
It definatly has personality and some character.
Not easy to like but when you do its easy to wear.

Sillage: Ok
Longevity: Bah
Personality: Its a lesbo in the closet for sure!

Tigerlillian

Sensual with refinement and grace, yet guarded with feminine vulnerability. I find The Iceberg Fragrance very passionate, yet at the same time, incredibly controlled and perfectly faceted.

The almond, pistachio and pear are apparent immediately upon application, with bergamot, pepper and coriander creating a crystalline frame.

The flowers are heavenly with a sueded touch, and integrate perfectly with the warmth and body of the beautiful and unusual fruit and creamy nut accord.

What remains on the skin is outstanding in its uniqueness and allure, familiar, yet not common. Such a warm, "I want to touch you" fragrance with the caress of patchouli, and the sensuality of vanilla and musk. All the while though being encased in cool spice--a little aloof, yet fully conscious of the soulful fire within.

Natalie467

Maybe it's the pepper in this that makes the opening smell slightly masculine, I don't know, but I love it. There's something about the masculine women's fragrances that strike me as being extremely sexy.

Iceberg is a very modern composition, different and complex. Wearing this makes one feel like a powerful tigress at first, on the flipside the cozy dry down of creamy pistachio mixed with vanilla & soft suede turns the tigress into a cuddly kitten, warm and soft and snuggly. It's almost a gourmand with yumminess of the cream and pistachio, but not quite and that's good.

Sillage and longevity are excellent. The dry down lasts forever on me. Would I buy a full sized bottle? Yes, and I already have. A blind buy I'm extremely pleased with. The bottle is beautiful, too: modern, minimalist and classy.

CurlyWurly

Interesting fragrance, unusual and unbeatable convenient. Smells like creamy pistachio icecream. Very delicious. But there is something in this perfume I can´t stand. I´m so sad because this is really a special scent. It doesn´t fit to me or to my skin. Sad but true. But I recommend it without asking.

Gosha

If there was a group of fragrances called "contradictory", Iceberg would lead together with Obsession Night. Those two are not similar when it comes to notes. What they have in common, in my opinion, is the presence of seemingly contradictory - or for some even incompatible - features. Thus Iceberg seems to be at the same time sweet and spicy, modern and almost somehow sentimental, gourmand and in a way industrially metallic, feminine and masculine (and no, I am not saying that this fragrance is unisex, certainly not! It is very girly or womanly if you wish, but there is also the tiniest bit of edgy, rough, crude macho rawness somewhere in there), it is somehow "floral", yet the flowers are not pretty or heady or seductive...hm...yes, thinking of that...the fragrance itself is feminine, but the flowers here ARE unisex if that is possible. :-) There is a bit of romantic garden in there as well as a bit of urban chaos, there is earth and there is concrete and dust. :-). And then there is the pear and milky, pistachio ice cream eaten on a leather sofa. To me an enjoyable and a little controversial (still pretty timid) fragrance this is. :-)

The_Entity

I got this as a gift, I dont mind it, I would wear it, but the lasting power is very disappointing, I expected it to last alot longer.
It isnt a girly girl frag, has a slightly masculine edge to the scent, reminding me a little of Gucci by Gucci

Yijing

I just got this perfume as a gift from a good friend of mine. This perfume is hard to define at the frist sniff as it's floral, spicy and warm at the same time.
What kind of woman wears this perfume? She is aloof, independent, sexy and smart.
Wo, the wearer defines it.

Action

Yes Femme, you smell this perfume EXACTLY like I do!! We must have the same way of smelling and interpreting a perfume!!

Mariame

I was very lucky to try this because of Action! It's perfect and different from others. It's floral and creamy at the same time.Warm, luxurious and lasting. The suede's noticeable and head turner.I have it on my wantings!

Goldfinch

I was so disappointed, trying this fragrance after the beautiful reviews. Something, like L'Instant? Maybe, but it's missing some notes, which make L'Instant so good and tasty. It's strong and bitter on me, not a good, 'yummi' feeling, but like a plate over-rosted pistachio. I've got headache from this one. The bottle is very nice. What a pity...

Action

Hi Femme, do not know where you live, but i could maybe send you a vial? You being the gold queen here, Yvresse can be your thing too!! Especially the Champagne bottle is absolutely goldish!! And what about Jivago 24k? That actually has gold in the liquid!!
good luck!

Mariame

Where could i found a sample of it?Looks nice and i like gold elegant floral and spicy perfumes.Hope someone helps me .

Action

Guest Ginnycat,
Do you have an account here yet? I really love your review on Iceberg and I could not agree more with it!!

Mad-Lainey

Iceberg The Fragrance is a very unique perfume. It certainly shares notes with Lola by Jacobs and could be easily considered Lola's shyer sister.
The stars of the show are bergamot, pink pepper, peony, vanilla and pistacchio. It is moderately sweet (I feared that dut to ice cream+vanilla note it may be too sickly), perfect for your handbag whenever you go.
I wore it yesterday evening for a dinner with my husband as well this morning on my way to office and it seems to be an appropriate choice regardless of circumstances or setting :-)
Iceberg is what I call ''prefumely correct'' :-)
Worth trying!

P.S. The olfactive group oriental floral seems to be a joke, Ladies - it has nothing to do with being oriental, believe me!
It seems to be purely floral, well maybe floral with a hint of fruitiness :-)
If you want oriental floral - try Alchimie :-)

Action

Ohhh this is such a masterpiece!! just like XS Extreme girl, really stocking this one right now!
EXCELLENT!!!

Action

Two notes missing in the description above are : ICECREAM & PINK BERRIES!!

Action

Alright I really need to review this one:
the 1st time I smelled it I thought, what is this? I left it alone.
A while later I tried again and THEN THEN, I was ASTONISHED! It is a genius perfume, not a typical masterpiece, the perfume is genius. It is futuristic, it elevates you, it is pure class and elegance, it is like nothing else out there. It is for the trend watching people, thinking about the patterns of life and people, it is science and technology! IT IS GENIUS!

I have mixed feelings about this perfume, even though – seduced by it in the testing phase - I decided to get myself a small bottle. It’s not among my favorites, but I really like it. All notes I can smell are very pleasant: starting from pear and something like candied orange peel (it’s probably bergamot), through pepper to slightly leather note. It’s spicy yet calming, and not overwhelmingly sweet. It somehow reminds me of Sensuous by Estee Lauder, but compared to it, it lacks body a bit and is much less syrupy.

My main complaint about The Fragrance is that it lacks class: something very elusive that distinguishes nice perfume from fantastic perfume is missing here. I also have an impression that this scent is not very well put together: the notes seem to stand out and can be identified too easily. The Fragrance definitely could use a bit of mystery. However, particularly in cold season it feels very nice to wear it, thanks to its warmth and coziness.

I’d appreciate better lasting power.

Solvita

at first is a little strong, then becomes creamy, sweet, just lovely...

elly77

Loved it till the last spray, I feel a lot of peony and almond in it. I will get it again definitely.

Sissi

The opening is a Bit soapy but give it a few minutes it dries down to a Nutty
Accord and florals it's a bit unsual
but Tolerable. so i whould put this on my like list of perfumes. but i really love is the Bottle it has a Art Deco
Sexiness to it a light Brown quarz
brings to mind the lavish sets they used in those old black and white Fred
Astaire Ginger Rogers Musicals the hall
of mirrors from the movie The Lady from Shanghai. Jean Harlow in her tight lowcut shelf gown like the one She worn in Dinner at eight Surrounded by Mirrors or a an elegant quarz ring Emerald cut from a woman hand.

This has to me the most beautiful bottle design in the world next to chanel no 5 and tresor

Frangipani76

The joy of bergamot and spicy corriander burst up at first spray. Then it transformed into something warm and woodsy. I like this perfume when I need a boost to lift up my spirit. It's joyful scent but in a mature way. It tends to a bit unisex I think.

sniffandsingwithme

I have the bottle now. The flacon is nice..and quite heavy too. Brown, transparant, with ingredient notes written on it. But i think they're scratchable, the notes written.
I am going to wear this later, and i'm surely going to layer my skin with moisturizer before the spritz. Just trying to get the maximum length. I'll review it later.

sniffandsingwithme

I bought a vial for $1 and sprayed it to my wrist.
First sniff, reminds me of be clean series from united colors of benetton? The blue or was it the purple bottle, i forgot. Because i used to wear that be clean from ucb.
After an hour or so, it became less strong, and it is flowery and musky. Only the musk is way stronger than the flower.
But i hardly can't detect it now :(
I'll just give it another try. Maybe because it's just a vial b/c no cap really change the juice.
The big bottle is still on the way to my house. I bought it for $20. I don't know whether it was the best deal for it though. So, we'll see.

sky76sky

I echo Simo's sentiment - why did I not buy this one sooner?

It is cozy, fluffy, sweet, nutty, comfortable & comforting - a happy, "winter hug" scent. I find some similarities with Brit & L'Instant, but they are distant cousins, not sister-scents. Iceberg isn't terribly posh, you see.

It has a light fruitiness & a rich, creamy foodiness that reminds me of winter deserts, sprinkled with toasted nuts. This could all become too sickly sweet but Iceberg is balanced by subtle suede & patchouli which lends an earthy, grounded quality to the perfume.

The overall feel is fluffy, dusty, sweet & sensual but there is a cool breeze blowing through the heart of the fragrance which gives the impression of space - the scent seems to hover above the skin. As it settles it becomes ever more dusty & tails off as a light amber-musk.

Ok, it isn't groundbreakingly different, complex or even a scent that evolves much.....but it is charming in its simplicity. I love it, but it is not one to wear to make a statement or go out on the tiles....it will happily hug you as you do the dishes & feed the cat.

simo

I have no idea why I didn´t buy this one before, it´s such a perfect fragrance for cold days. One of my favorites this winter.

samsara1977

Lovely bottle. Reminds me of Shiseido Féminité du bois. Warm, spicy and sensual, a real gourmand fragrance.

LadyJedi

Unlike some of the reviewers, I find no similarities between Iceberg and L'Instant, the latter being my signature perfume for years. Iceberg is gentle and soft, a bit spicy but nothing more than that. I wanted to like it very much as I generally love nuts in scents, but it simply gets absorbed by my skin and vanishes in no time. The bottle is really nice, the colour, the shape and the notes listed on it. I wish the juice inside had more to offer in terms of character and staying power.

evamoon

I bought this fragrance, because it was inexpensive and it is similar to L´Instant, but this is more gentle and inoffensive.

missk

I'll start off by saying that I love the bottle. It's fantastic to read the notes listed on the bottle while experiencing the scent itself.

I find Iceberg to be a little confusing to my nose. It's a strange, yet likable mixture of sweet and spicy. All at once you can sense the pear, vanilla, mimose, almond, violet and pistachio flavoured icecream conflicting with the coriander, pink pepper, patchouli and suede notes.

The overall composition is both a shock to the senses and a pleasant olfactory experience. It is certainly different, really not something I expected.

Seeming that I love my sweet scents and the occasional spicy one, Iceberg fits me nicely. However I'd be interested to see the reactions of people that like one fragrance genre yet not the other in relation to this scent. I can imagine that some may be repulsed.

Either way it's definitely worth a try. I'll also add that both the sillage and lasting strength were commendable.

ruxxy

Ok, there is ice-cream, almonds and pistachio, but nothing more than a sweet, musky, dusty and "closed" scent. I couldn't find anything fresh or tingling spicy in it, just that musky pistachio sweetness whispering a bored "Leave me alone".
Maybe it's just my chemistry; the list of notes made me try so hard to like it, but I just couldn't, sorry.

teddito

This is one of the most strange and different perfumes I've ever had.
Incredibly warm and rich, bitter-sweet, seductive fragrance.
In the fragrance notes above is missing ice-cream, but on the bottle the notes are written and really ice-cream,almond and pistachio can be felt.
The base is simply wonderful and vibrating!I love it!

Roosh

It's the perfect match for my fragrance's most desire !
So Special , so different , long lasting and real exotic .

juliane

unique scent, very recognisable, sweet, but not floral, girly sweet. the sweetness reminds me of these white almond nougat candies. a little bit later i smelled the pistaccio icecream-smell like described, really surprising! i love the drydown: here you have a touch of suede mixed with warm and feminin vanilla and patchouli. i didn't get any sharpness in here. the bottle is very modern and adorable! good price, too!

Migotka

Hmhm, this was a very nice surprice. The only Iceberg fragrance Ive ever tried, but if the rest match to this, they must be worth trying out as well.
It's nice, pretty peppery, you can definitely get the hint of coriander, the suede undertones. It is somewhat sweet, but not sweet-sweet, more spicy sweet, it is not extremely feminine, I thought it was a unisex at first because of the sharpness. This is not a disadvantage though, I really liked it.
The bottle desing matches a modern woman in the city jungle- it is elegant, eye-catching and noticeable.

klonk

Wow, this sounds really interesting! I absolutely adore l'Instant de Guerlain but the notes pear, coriander, patchouli and leather in this fragrance sound even more exciting! Can't wait to try this but it seems this is not yet available here...

anastasiak

at the beginning i found it very similar to l'istant Guerlain but after a while fitted much better on my skin since it was more gentle and more nostalgic.I love the suede essence, so special!

vertigo

Wonderful bottle which contains a warm, rich, enfolding fragrance. I find it great because it may be noticeable when you walk into the room, but probably no one will be offended by it. It's not overpowering or heavy. As for me, perfect for autumn :)
