I didn't like this fragrance the first time I tried it. After letting it sit for a month, I tried it again a few times and found that I could appreciate it more. Upon spraying it, you are first hit with strong oud combined with strawberry jam. The combination is odd until you get used to it. After it mellows for 15 minutes or so, the scent becomes a very sweet strawberry over a musky oud base.
This is certainly not for everyone, but I will include it in my rotation because I enjoy scents that challenge me, and it is like nothing else in my collection.

pejatibia

While I generally offer in-depth reviews, this particular fragrance forces me to make an exception. Its scent profile is alarmingly vile, amalgamating the repugnant stench of dog feces with cat urine undertones. This odious concoction is then inexplicably laced with rancid strawberry jam. All of this unfolds as though in a decrepit, century-old closet situated in a murderer's dank lair.

Surprisingly, after this horrific onslaught to the senses, the fragrance mellows, shedding some of its more noxious elements to settle into a persistent aroma of decomposing strawberry jam.

What's truly baffling is this scent's paradoxical allure. It captivates in the same manner as a disastrous spectacle such as train wreck — so horrendous that one can't turn away. However, I must strongly caution against wasting any money on this abomination, even for those who are tempted by its odd, morbid magnetism.

The scent improves after maybe 4-5 initial hours, but enduring those first moments is a steep price to pay, both for your wallet and your senses.

I typically assign numerical ratings ranging from 0 to 10 for fragrances, but this one defies categorization to such an extent that I find it impossible to score.

When I get a new perfume I just spray a tiny bit in the inside of my elbow. It gives me an idea how powerful it is. Initially this is similar to Rasasi Dhanal Oudh Nashwah: warm, sweet oud gourmand and a bit barnyardy. After 20-30 minutes, is very much a fruity (mainly strawberry) concoction, with an oud undertone. In the late drydown (over 4 hours) I was left with a gourmandish oud, very pleasant. The tiny spritz was enough to last way over 5 hours close to skin. It's not a love (as I have other fragrances similar to it), but it's a keeper for sure.

Go4buck

I smelled this back in 2015 and now I got it again just out of curiosity to check how my nose has matured. Back then this made me vomit while having 3 sprays on one hand.

Fastforward to now, it smells nothing alike, either covid has made me anosmic to a type of oud (not all, I can smell Oud for Glory for example) or (either) this has been heavily reformulated. Yes, the terrible R word.

Did your bottle also come missing quite some liquid? I know it's only 40ml but damn it's 1/4 missing.
Is this Rasasi's signature move for Eau de Parfums or?

Also I like how they say it is an Eau de Parfum but alcohol level is 90%...This is why Lattafa, Armaf and Afnan are leading the game Rasasi...I hope you're paying attention.

DVDEK

Extremely animalic, barn smell in the opening, but as it dries down it has an oriental and strawberry jam scent to it. It reminds me of Guerlain Cuir Intense with some sweetness and fruitiness added.

marko.refael

I want to review this agin for the sake of those who can still get this today and in my opinion this is a metal band...very niche very butiful scent.

First blast of cows and horses one minute and its a heavy big leather and strawberry come to dance.
When it calmes down after 10 minutes it becomes in the air like an insence of leather oud and strawberries..
Very manly but if you leave in an arab country its unisex..i mixed it with rose sometimes and its superb
But the incense leather oud is butifull and it lasts all day...projection great 2 hours the silage on my skin is 4 hours mybe more this will stay on skin 12 hours ..
Enjoy.

Great start for oud lovers

FreddyK

Got it yesterday. You must love oud to enjoy this one. You get oud mixed with strawberry sauce, and as a small surprise at the beginning, You get a horse stable smell that disappears after a while. I love this kind of perfumery. There's always something, a small detail that will shock You. The quality is very good. You get 40ml of juice, but regarding the quality, and performance this is really all You need. Enjoy! Great fragrance!

Feroz.k.ak

If you love hindi OUD you would love it. Performance too is good

AEyup

Oud is generally known for being one of the strongest, most sophisticated and sexy serious smells.
The strawberry used in this perfume turned the oud into this childish juvenile wimp.
This is a sweet fruity oud in the worst possible synthetic loud cloying way one can imagine.
Not ALL experiments in the lab of a perfume house is suppose to find its way into production!

LordCharfield

I’m wearing this today. I just looked at my review in 2016, almost 6years ago. Unlike with some scents, I stand by what I said back then and still think it was an accurate review. My wife commented that she could smell “Elastoplast” as she walked by. I just don’t get the reviews that say this is unpleasant in any way.

DaniloRod

Oud and caramelized strawberries. Simple and straight forward. It's addicting. There's a lactonic undertone which it reminds me a milky strawberry candy that I used to consume in my teens.
The oud in this Rasasi is raw and leathery, definitely not for everyone, so you have to know some oud perfumes to appreciate this one. Outstanding recreation of oud. Presentation, blending and ingredients are incredible for what you're paying.
I freaking love it, but it's hard to find ocassions to wear it.

I hope Rasasi don't forget where they come from and stop westernize their products.

Sammy@au

This one is an interesting scent.
Its a daring, unique fragrance, which combines a slightly animalic oud with the tart sweetness of strawberry & musk.
It sounds weird, but somehow it works.

Scentsorship

I am a lover of barnyard oud, but I find this synthetic and unappealing. Not authentic barnyard, rather a synthetic oud (like Hindi Oud from Nusuk, but not as good), coupled with a famously unflattering strawberry component. The presentation, however, is mesmerizing... looks like a black shiny version of a camel-skin attar vessel in a black satin-lined box with slip-on cover. I wish I could love this, but at present, that’s just not possible.

Aysha14/17

I got this as a gift and I have to say I don't know how to feel about it. It constantly changes on my skin. On occasions I get a decent oud with raspberry that is wearable and even better when I mix with 540. On other occasions it smells like a farm and dung. It may have to do with the weather and humidity because my middle eastern scents smell different in the state and smell so much better in the middle east.

princessariel87

I bought this naively thinking of the singular notes and I had read some really good reviews. The presentation is astounding, wonderful box and bottle, very luxurious...BUT IT SMELLS LIKE A PIGPEN. I have tried to mix it with a vanilla scent, did not work. I tried with a rose scent, did not work. I can appreciate the work behind it and I do understand that it is a complex scent however on me it just smells wrong. Lasts an eternity, really beast performance. I would recommend to not blind buy if you're interested, because I had in mind something very different when purchasing this.

EarlofGrims

So Rasasi is my favourite middle eastern fragrance house, but this one is HORRIBLE!I have tried ouds, they are very difficult to wear,i say especially the “dhen al oudhs”scents generally, and nokhba means elité,yes elité in a pigpen,as a pic showed.Acid woods, fermented earth. That what you get for the duration of this scent.I wish to recommand to not blind buy it,overall to not buy it!Lesser persons smell something like this the better is!

Ericstraordinary

This was my first foray into oud-forward fragrances. This was a blind-buy, knowing full well that it would probably not be something that I would wear regularly.

This is barnyard oud with sweetness, just like everyone says. Funny, to my nose I wouldn't have identified the strawberry note as easily as others here. At first guess I would have been more inclined to say it has a peach pit accord. The more I wear this fragrance, the more I like it. However, this is about as far from a crowd-pleaser as I have ever owned. I can see people edging carefully away from you in a crowd.

I naturally assumed that longevity would be immense. It is definitely good, but it doesn't last as long as I thought it would on my skin. I get about 10 hours, which is certainly impressive.

The bottle has a nice organic shape to it. The cap is possibly the cheapest I have ever seen.

oudtroop

If you're expecting an offensive, rich and earthy oud then I'd say this is none of those right off the bat.

Yes you'll get a very rugged oud dry down but it'll take a good 5-6 hours to get past the sugary sweet strawberry note this has and at that point this will be no more than am intimate scent.
The opening can be excessively sweet especially in an indoor surrounding but aeration does give the fragrance a lot more character and wearability.

The fragrance smells very similar to Guerlain Cuir intense (which I find very fascinating) and in a good way. It's Oud vs Leather and whilst Cuir Intense has a very overpowering leather note throughout the life of the fragrance - the oud in Nokhba shows through occasionally quite gently.

Wouldn't recommend blind buying but for anyone that has Cuir Intense I could suggest it as a cheaper and more wearable alternative for most occasions.

EritErit

Hindi Agarwood!

Real, authentic agarwood oil for sure. Very expensive perfume ingredient to use, but this is 100% authentic.

Smells very similar to manure in the hay fields.

This has been paired with a sweet accord (strawberry) to make it a perfume, trust me, pure hindi agarwood isn't wearable on it's own, the sweetness is needed. Strawberry is not the usual, interesting indeed. A nice spin off of the traditional vanilla oud.

Banana ladyslipper

I blind bought this like a fool. Insert self inflicted forehead slap! Why would you blind buy something that people CLEARLY advise against? Because of the reviews! You see, I was actually ATTRACTED to the “barnyard and fecal” comments. I am VERY new to oud. My first Oud fragrance was Alien Oud, and I LOVE it. There is a SLIGHT barnyard oud scent to it. I LOVE it so much, that I immediately ordered more Oud fragrances. You can find them on my selves. And yes I know, “They aren’t real” But I don’t mind if they’re synthetic, my issue is they aren’t “barnyard”. Two are “rubber”, and one is “rubberISH and fresh”. THIS one here....SOUR! Very sour. At least to my untrained-unsophisticated-new-to-oud-and-Canadian nose. I MIGHT give it away, someone is interested, but I wanna try it again first. There’s so many different oud’s! Anyway I thought I would leave a review, for anyone like myself that is new, and actually enjoys the barnyard smell. I figured I would note that I personally don’t think this is. Hope I haven’t offended anyone, and sincerely apologize if I have. I have no doubt, others can ROCK this scent! I just want a pungent, punch-you-in-the-nose-barnyard-Oud!🥴 And I can’t find one.😕

mapache

Where do I begin....????

First of all.....do NOT blind buy this !!!
This is for the true fragrancehead....collectors...and would "understand" this type of scent.

In my huge collection....400+ bottles ...I have never smelled anything like this.

The first spray...is...WTF!!!??? So many notes going on. Medical skin balm...smell...woods/oud...but not your typical "oud" smell...???...then...underneath all of that madness...is "strawberry creme"..like the creme inside a Russel Stover dark chocolate candy......???....This "strawberry effect" deepens as you wear it...not sick sweet either.
Kinda a "furry" "wooly" strawberry creme. I imagine the spun sugar note adds to this...???....Not a traditional fruity strawberry. The spices play a big role here, but this balances the other notes out..IMO.

If you can make it thru to the drydown....it is a different experience compared to the opening for sure.

This is a love/hate guilty pleasure scent for me.
Very "weird" and "strange"....but...it is addicting...confusing...and private....Unique.
This will be a "stay at home" scent for me.
After all is said and done..IMO....it is not a BEAST.
It does have very decent sillage/longevity.
When wearing this...lol...I thought of Joaquin Phoenix as The Joker......just sayin...LOL.
I love it/I hate it.

Labaloo

Judging by the sheen on my skin, as well as the potency, I would guess that this approaches extrait strength.

Wonderfully luxurious.

Four, controlled and reserved sprays is good for me.

Lasts beyond 48 hours.

Unlike others, I don't read the fruity quality as "strawberry", but, rather, as very much like the aroma of fresh, ripe jackfruit (chakka) - which is often described as smelling (and tasting) like a combination of strawberries, banana, pineapple, and vanilla custard. I adore it.

My experience in smelling different oudhs is limited, so I am no expert... but I am not convinced that there are any synthetics comprising this blend; rather, I suspect that the final effect arises from a blend of a robust, Indian oudh with leathery, deep wood and animalic facets blended with a fruity Cambodian or Laotian oudh.

It reminds me of 'Dehn el Ood Al Salam' (another blended oudh) by Swiss Arabian - but notably fruitier.

Either way, I find wearing 'Dhan al Oudh Nokhba' a marvelous, spiritual experience, and I revel in its gorgeous complexity. 5/5

Tiwalii

This is the strongest and most hardcore oud I've ever experienced. It's a filthy, dirty, intensely rough barnyard oud that lasts for hours and hours before it calms down.

My first association when I smelled this fragrance was Denmark in spring. The farmers fertilize the soil early every spring with pig manure. A sour, rancid poopy smell that's impossible to escape. And this fragrance is the perfect duplicate of that smell.

And to accompany the manure stench you have a sweet, youthful strawberry milkshake note. Beautiful and playful on its own, but mixed with the poopy oud it feels so strange and out of place. This is such a weird fragrance.

Let me add that I was so sure that I was going to love this fragrance. Because I adore oud, and I really like the Arabian take on the strawberry note (I'm thinking about Al Haramain Makkah, for instance), but this was just too much and too filthy even for me.

Strength, sillage and longevity is fabulous though. It lasts for ages.

AMajeedQT

Unusual!

Dhan Al Oudh Al Nokhba is a mixture of strawberry & oud at about 50/50 rate. I've never smelled a fragrance like this before!

The strawberry smell is almost identical to the one you smell when you open a bottle of strawberry juice: fruity, sweet, & unmistakably strawberry. This smell is accompanied by a classic woody-spicy Middle Eastern-type oud. Together they are quite unique & beautiful.

Given that strawberry is a dominant note here, this leans towards feminie more.

The performance is excellent. You can take it as a rule, all of Rasasi's higher-priced releases come with very good-to-excellent performance.

Big "Like".

MrEleven1181

Lovely oud fragrance mixed with fruit and spice. enjoy this fragrance but the opening can be slightly too sweet, gets better on the dry down when the oud scent becomes more dominant.
Only sligh negative is on my skin i am only getting 6 hours not the 12 hours lots of others are experiencing but at the price i am not complaining. Good blind buy.

jazzclrnt

This is amazing! I don't understand the negativity from many. It's a beautiful strawberry that is deepened by a barnyard Hindi oud. It's not strong enough to annoy anyone around you. The oud makes the strawberry more unisex than feminine. Such a rich smell! It does have weak performance so spray on clothes perhaps.

Wow wow wow
What an amazing and unique fragrance ...
One the best and easy to wear oud based fragrances with the strawberry nuances
Wow absolutely gorgeous fragrance

Smell - 9.5/10
Longevity-10/10 (12+hrs)
Projection & Sillage-10/10(Beast)
Compliment -8/10 ( not a compliment magnet but u can expect some compliments )
Versatility-9/10 ( best suited for evening or night outs)

Guys this stuff is potent.. Control the trigger

Agnesca

Oud and spices and some juicyness. A short living animalic smell at the beginning. It's not particularly sweet or feminine on my skin, perfectly balanced, so not masculine either. It reminds me more on strawberry joghurt than strawberry milkshake, but oud rules the whole composition and it saves it from getting nauseating. Very special scent for az excellent price. Could be seen as the night-time sister of Safwa, but used with a very light hand it's very nice for daytime as well in cold weather. Beautiful.

EDit: I like it more and more and definetely prefer this to it's Sister Safwa. Of course, I'm not at all educated in Arabic perfumes and specially not in different types of ouds.... The first two hours or so are a bit tooo much and potent for me but after that the slightly fecal note disappears, the strawberry joghurt shines through but very well blended just to make the dry base more interesting and more wearable for at least me.

The more I'm testing it the more nuances I'm able to detect among the notes (I really think that the notes above and also on the official page of Rasasi are not completed). I don't smell leather in particular but at some point there seems to be an interesting burnt-rubber(ish) note there.

Vostok308

I've given this two weeks worth of wearing and have to say that it's jumped to the top of my personal list of favourites.
Best to apply an hour or so before you go out.
Opening is very barnyard for me which I'm learning to enjoy for myself. I doubt if it'd go down well with most other people.
The dry down is where the magic resides and it is beautiful magic.
On me it becomes a deep and creamy strawberry milkshake, leather and post coital skin.
Doesn't sound appealing but it really is. It very much works and smells entirely natural. In some small way it's like Paco Rabanne Black XS Iggy Pop because of the leather and strawberry but is much stronger in all measures.
Pure pleasure.

Edit:
I've had this stuff over a month now and I've been giving it a right old bending.
I've only come to love it more.
The pungent and sharp initial barnyard hit is something I really enjoy. I really do.
This aspect of it scuppers it as a crowd pleaser.
That said, when it eventually calms down its as sensual and as appealing as anything in my collection.
I'm now getting more out of the dark, fruity, chocolate dry down.
Really, genuinely wonderful juice.
This one really grows on you the more you use it.

OudSan

There is definitely leather in this blend.
My first reaction when I got my nose on this was : WAOU , AMAZING OUD !

Then the second try was like : Oh ..ok yeah

Then after some other tests : This is horrible.

I don't know why, but after some times I find this to be a completely olfactory mess. Leather/Strawberry/oud.. I mean leather and oud ok, but strawberry ? Seriously, it is nauseating, smells like kids yogurt, in a bad way of course.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

majcarlstewart

very nice strawberry accord mixed with oud. The scent is kind of sour milk like but pleasant. lasted 7-8 hrs then skin. I wake up with it after 12hrs. A man can pull this off but a womans scent for sure.

adil479

Alert pure oud lovers this fragrances is big no no for us.......it's totally a feminine fragrances.....the combination of oud and strawberry is just so annoying I just sprayed it twice and I was done with it .....people who love heavy oud oils and hard fragrances will not like this according to me...

YOURKINGB4EVER

I'm in the minority here.

I hate this the oud is too pungent and skanky imo. The strawberry note is pleasant but oud/rose combo is overbearing and undesirable. I wore it on my wrist for 4 hours I had to scrub it off. I'm no scent pro like some others (I've only been collecting for 9 years) but I'm new to authentic ouds I guess maybe I prefer synthetic ouds so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But buyers beware if you're not familiar with ouds I strongly suggest getting a decant if you can DO NOT BLIND BUY!
if you're interested in purchasing this colonge contact me I'll let my bottle go for $50.00 usd shipping in the cont. U.S. only. Pm me if you're interested please.

marko.refael

For man.
This is a genius bland of oud ..cow scent oud..spices and strewberrys.
This is like rose oud combos but instead of rose you get the strewberry, the result is very very plesent sweet and pronounced strewberry so rounded by the dirty oud and spices.
On my skin this is a butifull fragrance manly all the way .. After 6 hours the strewberry fades and the oud fades and a little bit of spices left in a nice way but in the air the scent still lingers softlly.
All the 6 hours also when its close to the skin it can be smelled around you..
!! Not more then 2 sprays !! it last for 20 hours.!!
Very very recommended IMHO.
Enjoy.
This is a METALHEAD frag.
I found it goes well in the studio when we play
And sweat .

Gazo30

Starts sickly sweet like strawberry crusha milkshake mix, then the strawberry softens off & the oud starts to come through, the strawberry is the main player here but the oud is a strong second. its quite strong but not overly powerful. its not bad but only if you like very sweet scents, if you want something less sweet try rasasi dahnal oudh ruwah

Jonah

Beautiful blend of ingredients, long lasting and gets people asking.

PerfumedParrot

Dhan Al Oudh Al Nokhba is definitely not your average western oud fragrance where the oud is tamed and censored for uninitiated noses. I'm getting authentic Hindi oud as it's farmyardy and faecal. The strawberry is not enough to balance and sweaten it up. It's just a Hindi oud mukhallat (blend).
It's nothing like Black Afgano as previously mentioned. Rasasi's performance and quality is no way near to Nasomatto's. All Arabian fragrances tend to be pretty impressive, but Rasasi is only entry level Arabian impressive.
It's not the power-house fragrance everyone is making out. One spray leaves only a delicate whisper which fades away.

Have mine.

arabbel

The strawberry in this is so, so good, but it is a bit overshadowed by the oud. I'd say it's about 40% strawberry, 60% oud, and I wish that were switched. I like oud, but when it is paired with a really contrasting note like it is here, I prefer it to take the background.

The oud in this is definitely on the bitter side, especially initially, which causes it to be slightly unpalatable at first. It does settle down though; the oud sweetens slightly and becomes a little less sharp, and strawberry becomes a little more mellow.

The end result of the scent for me becomes like catching a pleasant whiff of strawberries growing nearby while you are standing next to a barn on a hot day. I wish the strawberries were right in front of me instead. I find this one is a little difficult, and it certainly is not a new favourite, but I do like it.

If you don't like oud, or are not super familiar with it, this would not be a good one to try.

LordCharfield

Incredibly good! Give it 15 mins to settle down and it smells fantastic. Full review in due course.

Well, I've worn this a few times now, and I have to say that it's one hell of a high quality niche perfume. 24 hours on the skin is easily achievable, maybe more.
The unmistakable notes in this are oud and strawberry, and the strawberry note is blended so well with the oud, that both endure throughout the life of an application. I think that the reviewer below is pretty spot on when he mentions strawberry concentrée. This is one of the greats in my collection, and will definitely be a permanent one. The 40ml volume shouldn't concern anyone as this really is concentrated, and will outlast/out perform most other fragrances in your collection.
The bottle and packaging are beautiful, lavish and really underline the fact that you have, in your hands, an extraordinarily luxurious perfume.
There is a variant of this in a white bottle. I think I'll be trying it very soon.

angelo..zucchinni

ok...strawberry concentre...musky on husky side..lol..oud to make u feel as if your in a SILO full of agarwood and the old soils that cling to it during harvest...im sorry...im just taken away by this AMAZING PARFUM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is artisan qualty stuff..now il shutups...its 9.2 out of 10 btw..use sparingly..as it is soo veryyy pooootent....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .this stuff really just takes u to another place..n it aint in the usa..lol..ciao

Tarek Mohammad

THis perfume is just amazing. It kicks off with Oudh and strawberry and remains there forever. I wear it early in the morning, and the scent will stick there until the next day given that I spray 3 times only. Concerning the sillage, I keep smelling the perfume, but I don't know if others also get a sniff as I tend to spray on my cloth. The smell is extremely intense, so if one doesn't like strong perfumes, he/she should look for something else.

rasheed. ca7

Excellent mixture of oud, spice and fruit. Lovely scent worth the money you are paying for.

anisavrabac

It's beautiful when sprinkled gently onto the hair, turns to a soft, musky, oudy, sexy scent. Every time you toss your hair side to side you get a scent of this potion. It is my secret scent... Wonderfully blends with many fragrances... It's a masterpiece and better than anything Tom Ford could ever come up with or attempt to copy. Mildly resembles his Arabian Wood blend but it's way better.... It's an absolute genius blend of fruit and oud... ;)
