Moonstruck is book two in the Lovestruck series by Sariah Wilson. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, Starstruck, so I jumped at the chance to read this one. I won this in a Goodreads giveaway! This is my third book by this author. This is a stand alone. You do not need to have read the first book in this series in order to read this one.

Maisy Harrison is the only girl, the youngest with three older, very protective brothers. Maisy is lead singer and guitarist in a band with her brothers called Yesterday. Like her brothers, music is everything to her. They all hold daytime jobs since their music barely brings in any income. But everything changed the night her best friend got back stage passes to a Ryan De Luna concert.

Ryan is a mega star. He used to be known for his wild ways but in the recent years has really seemed to clean up his act. He dresses different, conducts himself differently, and his music seems to have matured. Not to mention the fact that he is about the best looking guy on the planet. But Maisy has a strict rule, she never ever dates musicians. She really doesn’t date at all. Her brothers make it pretty impossible. Maisy had an absentee father who was a musician and after seeing what he did to her mother all her life, she will never put herself through that. As a result, she is saving herself for marriage. Still, when she meets Ryan for the first time, there is some kind of chemical reaction between them. A zing that effects her from her head to her toes. All the more reason to keep her distance from Ryan De Luna.

crowd at a concert

“The attraction was so intense it was almost chemical. Like he had scientifically bewitched my hormones. Somehow I felt both hot and cold inside. Like ice and fire froze and burned through me at the same time, even though that was physically impossible.”

After seeing a YouTube video of Maisy’s band doing one of their songs, Ryan invited her band to go on tour with him as his opening act. It was everything they had ever dreamed of and would help them get out of a financial bind they were in.

treble clef heart

Ryan was desperate to clean up his image and with the attraction that sizzled between he and Maisy, it would be so easy to convince the world that they were dating. So he asked her to be his fake girlfriend and she agreed. Only Ryan’s feelings were quickly becoming real and he sensed that Maisy’s were as well. He respected her wishes but he wanted more from her than a fake relationship. He wanted a real one.

“I had to stay strong. Remember my rules. Not fall in love. And never, no matter what I wanted, let him kiss me.”

singing

As things progress with Ryan and Maisy, they both realize that what they have is special and wonderful. But Maisy is still hanging on to her old hurts from her father. Can she really move forward with Ryan when she hasn’t let go of the past?

“Sweetheart, do you know what happens when fire meets ice? Steam.”

This was a super sweet story of love and forgiveness. Maisy is so mature for her twenty-two years but still has so much to learn. This author has such a beautiful way of telling her stories. I like that even though the book is about Maisy and Ryan, we get a little hint of what is happening with two other couples as well. The entire book is told from Maisy’s point of view. My biggest complaint is that there is no epilogue. I really would have liked to walk away with a little glimpse into their future to see how things were going. I usually read books that are a lot more steamy but surprisingly enough, I didn’t really miss it here. Both books in this series are very enjoyable and if you are looking for a romance that doesn’t have sexy times in it, this is sure to please.

This book! Oh my heavens! I was super duper excited when I saw that Sariah Wilson wrote another book in the #Lovestruck series! Dancing commenced and some happy squeals and then the wait began. #patienceisn'tforeveryone! Then Kathy Jo, a goodreads friend, told me it was available on NetGalley. Stop the press, I went straight over and requested a copy! Then the waiting began. #whyhaven'ttheyapprovedmeyet??????? So then after an excruciatingly loooooooooooong 2 days (I know so rough having to wait that long) I got the approval email, squealed and possibly did some more Carlton dancing, much to the shocked eyes of my daughters wondering what in the world was going on with their momma. Hee Hee! Just kidding, they know I get excited a lot and laugh and dance and squeal in excitement. #stillakidatheart! I jumped on NetGalley and downloaded my copy. Woohoo!

No, I didn't read it straight through. I did try to sleep, but it was pretty close to reading #everypossiblesecond! I absolutely loved this one! I loved the first book, #Starstruck, but I might have to say this one was even better (at least for me)! Can I give it more than 5 stars please? Maybe it was all the music references, because I am a huge music lover, singer, pianist, anything music related I am there! And these two characters were fabulous!

Maisy has had some tough moments in her life. Some she hasn't healed from and she needs to. I loved how the author showed the growth and developing strength of Maisy. She was already amazing and strong but she just grew and developed even more. I loved watching her trust grow and realizing that it was ok for her heart to find someone to love and trust. Someone that could be her true love.

Ryan De Luna was a hoot! He and Maisy banter back and forth. He knew she saw him as himself. Not a popstar and not her next meal ticket or a good time. She didn't care about all the statuses and such. He was just another guy and had to prove himself to her. And boy, oh boy did he ever!

Can I just say the music video?????? Oh sweet heavens. Those two. And them singing together? And the song Maisy? And, and, and......it's never ending y'all! Seriously so many sweet and gentle moments, plus some sweet and spicy moments.

Maisy's family were awesome one moment and aggravating the next. Her brothers and I had a love and frustrated relationship. Lol! They were great brothers but I wish they would have opened up with her a little more. Yes, I totally and completely understand it's fictional and needed for the storyline. But I can vent a little can't I? It all worked perfectly for the review and gave me moments of wanting to tell them to stop babying her and tell her everything. In the end they did though, so all is forgiven!

I want to tell you so many more moments about this book but I just can't spoil it for you. If you need a sweet and spicy romance novel (yes clean, yes there are some mild innuendos see content section below) to enjoy and devour this summer grab this one. And enjoy the ride, the music, the family relations and the most important relationship of all, Ryan and Maisy's.

Content: Clean. Maisy believes in waiting for marriage for intercourse and won't back down on that rule. Ryan is a pop star and has been since he was very young. He has lived that lifestyle. So he does tease Maisy and make small comments about him being available. They do have a conversation about "notching" in terms of pop star, band members and groupies making conquests. Maisy doesn't agree and lets Ryan know where she stands. There are a couple scenes where they make out but no sex scenes. Some other talk about pop star lifestyle but nothing graphic. Mostly mild innuendos scattered throughout. I would not let my younger teen daughters read this but would recommend for more mature readers.

I received a copy from the publisher, Montlake Romance, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

(This was my pre-read and pre-review excitement for the book being announced!)
*squeal* Did anyone else do the Carlton dance when they saw this????? Amazon has the cover up, that's where I originally saw it!!! So, so excited. 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼

I decided to read this one again, sometimes I'm just in the mood for a Wilson book! I have read the first book in this series a few times, so I decided to jump into this one again. I enjoyed it just as much the second time around.

I like that this one focused on the music industry. To be honest, I like music, but I'm not a super fan by any means. It was still fun to see behind the scenes, I especially liked learning about tours, the tour buses (I may have googled some pics to help me visualize it all), and just everything that goes into making a big tour work.

Maisy and Ryan had a great love story. I liked that they had so much in common, both with their music and personal lives. They just #clicked. I liked that they were able to really get to know each other from all their time #roadtripping on the tour bus. Great setting for a romance and one I hadn't ever read before. I loved the swoony moments and loved their fun banter. I thought it was so refreshing to have a heroine who wanted to wait for marriage and even more refreshing to have the guy so respectful of that wish. It also made their love story more memorable and truly romantic. They were really falling in love, not just lust. So yeah, I was a big fan of the romance.

I liked the supporting cast; her three loving and overprotective brothers were fun. Reminded me of my three older brothers! Overall, this was a great read!

Content Rated PG
Clean romance, kissing & talk of waiting to be intimate. No language or violence.

I was ridiculously happy when I was able to download an ARC of this book! I went to bed early so I could read it and ended up staying up until 2:30 am finishing it. I love when I find a book I don't want put down.
This felt very similar to Sariah's book #Starstruck (which I loved). While #Starstruck features a movie star #Moonstruck features the lead of a popular band. With sizzling chemistry, whity humor, plenty of bantering and a fun host of supporting characters this one was a winner in my book.

A face paced, engaging book from author Sariah Wilson that I sacrificed sleep for.

Content: clean (no language, no sex) but there are some passionate make-out scenes and some talk of sex and past indiscretions but nothing described and nothing crude or crass.

I heard so much about this book from my GR friends Julie Carpenter, Kathy * Bookworm Nation, and Aimee (Getting Your Read On) that I went to NetGalley and requested it even though I already had 4 books from them that I had to review and books coming in from my author review teams. #somanybookstoread #imustbecrazy

Once I got the approval email and finished my current book, I started reading--#OHMYGOSH #didn'twanttoputitdown #superswoony

Maisy and her brothers haven't had a easy life with a deadbeat, musician for a father which leads to her mother having a breakdown, and getting into a life-altering accident while Maisy was in high school. Because of her father Maisy has a rule she lives by--Don't Date Musicians!! She got the nickname Ice Queen in high school.

Ryan De Luna is a huge popstar who seems to have it all, but his parental issues are quite similar to Maisy's. He's instantly attracted to her because she's not a Luna-chick, or a Luna-tic. She sees and treats him as a regular person, not as El Caliente, as the media refers to him.

What happens when fire meets ice = steam. Oh My! There were so many parts that were my favorite--definitely when he called her onstage to sing her slowed-down version of his hit "One More Night", the making of his music video, when he wrote a song about her, the surprise birthday party on the tour bus, and when he "Lloyd Doblers" her at the end. #iceandfiremakesteam #superswoonykisses #breaktherules #shesmyMaisy

I don't have brothers so Maisy's brothers drove me a little crazy with their overprotectiveness. I wanted to tell them "She's a grown woman for heaven's sake!" I liked Maisy and her snarky comments. My favorite was "Plastic peacock leeches. Pleeches." I actually laughed out loud at the one. The other was "I just needed my steak to be on my plate. I didn't need to know what it did during its downtime." I wasn't thrilled with Maisy's behavior towards Ryan after CeCe's visit--I kept yelling at her in my head "he didn't cheat on you!!" Thankfully her brothers laid it all out for her, and when she told her mother about the incident during one of their visits she realized that she'd made a HUGE mistake. I loved how she took ownership of it, realized Ryan wasn't like her dad at all, it was her, and she apologized. #RyanandMaisyforever

So happy I managed to fit this book into my reading schedule. Now I need to make time to read the first one #Starstruck. Thanks to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for letting me read and review this book. All opinions and thoughts expressed in my review are my own.

Getting a chance to meet and banter and fall in love with your favorite musician? YES PLEASE. And did I imagine myself as Maisy and Ryan as Niall Horan? YOU BETTER BELIEVE I DID.

I 100% of the time abhor insta-love. It is unrealistic and completely kills any interest I have in the characters. It makes them seem shallow and way too superficial. #Moonstruck is an insta-love of sorts, BUT it is done in a way that is actually believable and not cringe-y.

Insta-lust is a thing, and it is definitely something that I understand. Maisy, our MC, is struck hard with the insta-lust bug when she meets our hero, Ryan de Luca. Even though their personalities clash, she is still drawn to him physically (Ryan being super crazy ridiculously hot probably didn't hurt). Normally at this stage in the game (like 25% into the book), the characters pronounce their undying love. That is not the case here. Although the romance still moved a bit faster than I usually like, it was still believable and organic. You could feel the chemistry between the two characters, and I found myself rooting for them throughout the book.

The two biggest concerns I had with this book were 1) girl-on-girl hate, and 2) the misunderstanding-that-wouldn't-be-a-misunderstanding-if-they-talked-to-each-other trope. As for #2, I understand the reason for putting it in there (it really helped with character development and growth for Maisy), but as for #1 I thought it was completely unnecessary. Slut-shaming on Maisy's part and unexplained hate/name calling on another character's part didn't need to be in the story. It didn't move the story forward, and instead just added a lot of negative to a book that was all about forgiveness.

I was a bit disappointed in this book, as I completely fell in love with her first book in this series, #Starstruck. I think this might be the typical middle-book syndrome, but either way I am looking forward to the next book in the series! Sariah's writing always make me laugh, and I love her brand of humor. I'm excited to read more of her works =)

I knew, from reading the blurb, that this was one story that I was really going to enjoy. And, enjoy it I did. New to me author, Sariah Wilson, really impressed me with the way the story flowed and with the characters that she built. Ryan and Maisy were interesting both together and apart. The only drawback that I had was Maisey and her woe-is-me attitude. There were times in the story that I wondered why Ryan put up with her and her attitude.

Ryan was the rock star that had the reputation to match his status. Both him and his label want the image changed. When he meets the one woman who had the guts to tell him like it was, he knows he met his match and may be the one who could bring him to his knees. Now to convince her to help him change his image and his music.

Maisey has one rule … never date a musician. After her father, she cannot and will not try to even trust anyone in the music industry even though she's a musician herself. Unfortunately, her and her brothers can't seem to make any headway in the business. That is, until one fateful night, one misplaced phone, several days of texts and a surprise appearance of the man that she could easily hate.
An offer … an agreement … Maisey's life is changed. Now, with her brothers right beside her, she has major decisions to make. She's not sure how to take the Ryan she has come to know and fall in love with.

This story was more than just a romance. It truly touched my heart. Maisey's mother was the heart of this story. I give Sariah Wilson kudos for writing such a heart-breaking and intense storyline. Yes, the romance was front and center, the music and songs were beautiful but, the love that Maisey had her her mother and what she would do for her was just plain beautiful. Then, Ryan goes and steals my heart with his actions and his words. Of course, there had to be a little angst thrown in for some additional drama but, in the end, she gave us a beautiful and touching ending that truly had me smiling from ear to ear.

Maisy Harrison is a musician, surrounded by three older, very protective brothers (their interactions are funny). Maisy also happens to be the lead singer and guitarist in a band with her brothers called Yesterday, so there’s no escaping them. Music is everything to the siblings, but not one that brings an income – they all have day jobs, jobs they really, really need. However, everything changes the night her best-friend gets them backstage to megastar Ryan De Luna’s concert. To say Maisy leaves an impression – both with her music and personality would be an understatement.

The chemistry between Ryan and Maisy was clear, and their interactions entertaining at the start and then as things develop sweet.

This was a nice read, but not one that I found myself getting lost in, time did not become a forgotten reality. Nevertheless, there were some good moments in this, that touched me and had me amused. I certainly liked Maisy and her sass and confidence. Again, like a lot of books I’ve read recently, Maisy has one parent who is an epic douche, although he doesn’t make much of a direct appearance, but he has left a lot of consequences for his kids, and well Ryan’s dad isn’t exactly going to win any parenting awards either.

I was a little too cringed out. The dialogue. The dude. Eye roll.

This girl who loves music and is in a band with her brothers gets a backstage pass to meet this super famous dude singer. She insults him a bit and he can't resist. He asks her to go on tour with him.
They fall in love.

But ugh the things this guy said to her. CRINGE.
This girl who was so overcome by her intense attraction that she couldn't resist getting close to him and blushing anytime he looked at her. Not my kind of romance anymore. When I was 18, I would have LOVED this. But not at 29.

It was clean and there was no language, but they definitely mentioned sex and there were some sexual innuendos as well.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Sariah Wilson book. She has a writing style that appeals to me and I love it!

This is the second book in the #Lovestruck series. It's basically about famous people falling in love with the guy/girl next door. From the very beginning the dialogue between Maisy and Ryan is amazing. The banter drew me in and didn't let me go.

Maisy and Ryan have parent issues. It makes Maisy hard to trust a man, but a musician is an absolute "no"! That is until she meets Ryan and he breaks down most of her barriers. The relationship between Maisy and her brothers, Ryan and her brothers, her brothers and attractive females.... is fantastic. The core of characters is solid. I could not have asked for more.

The romance is pretty intense. Maisy and Ryan are attracted from the beginning, but she puts up boundaries and fights her feelings. She has vowed to wait until marriage to have intimate relations with a man, and it adds for some interesting conversations. Ryan is a gentleman, but there is a definite heat factor between them.

The books contains some pretty great kissing and lots of innuendo.

This was just fun! I was a little worried, second books are hard, especially when the first book was so good. I really planned on not liking it as much so it took me a little bit to get into it. I really enjoyed reading Ryan and Maisy's story. Too real people with real issues. She doesn't make them cookie cutter perfect and that was fun. It is a little unbelievable but in a take you away from reality way not a role your eyes way:} This is for older teens and adults in my opinion. There is talk of sex but Maisy has decided to stay chaste till marriage because of what she has dealt with in life. I am glad there are authors who write this way as this is a real thing that does happen and if more people took this approach I think there would be a little less chaos in the world. There is some explosive kisses and some great tension.

Maisy has had a hard, but good, life and I love how real she is. Because of her past, she has one rule and it just may become a broken when Ryan the charmer enters her life. I love how they meet and how they get to know each other at first and wow, do the sparks fly throughout this one! I almost melted into a puddle of goo on a few occasions. My favorite books involve sizzling hot fake romances, a whole cast of fantastic characters, and witty, hilarious banter, so let's just say I was in heaven with this one.

Maisy is tough and has to be with three overprotective older brothers, but she's also sweet, sensitive, insecure, and a bit snarky on the inside. The changes she goes through as she grows up and accepts more responsibility are tender and heartwarming. As for Ryan, that man could charm the horns off of a raging bull. I don't know how Maisy could keep him at arms length for so long!

I've decided that this author has a great recipe for writing romances that are just as satisfying to me as a plate of decadent brownies and I'm craving more ASAP!

Content: mild+, swoony, steamy-clean romance (kissing, some innuendo)

Maisy Harrison has one life rule... never date a musician. She has her father to thank for it. He was too busy being a jerk and making babies to actually care for the kids he already had. She doesn't have any problems keeping that rule. Well... that was until she met the gorgeous, playboy Ryan De Luna. It would be in everyone's best interest to stay far, far away from that man.

From the moment Ryan first met Maisy, he knew she was something special. Not only was she not afraid to speak her mind about what she really thought of him, but she actually saw him as a real person... not some rich playboy that everyone else saw. And if that wasn't enough to hook him, listening to her sing a cover of one of his songs would definitely do it. Not only is she feisty and beautiful but she's talented and smart.

When the opportunity arises for Maisy and her brothers' band, Yesterday, to be the opening act on Ryan's Moonstruck tour, they would be crazy to pass it up. This may be the break they have been waiting for.

While touring together, Ryan confides in Maisy that in order for him to start making the kind of music he wants to make, he first needs to clean up his image and prove to his record label that he's matured. But in order for that to happen, he's going to need Maisy's help. Nothing too crazy... they just need to have a fake relationship.

Wait. What?! A fake relationship? Doesn't he know how dangerous that is?! Does he not feel the explosive chemistry between them?! Maisy will just have to be extra careful and guard her heart. But somewhere along the way it went from being fake to real for Maisy. With her feelings for Ryan growing, she knows she needs to be extra careful because he has the power to crush her heart. But what she doesn't see or realize is that she, too, has the power to crush his heart.

Just as Maisy puts her trust and future in Ryan's hands, his past comes knocking... literally. Will they be able to stay strong together? Or will Maisy's past experiences have her running at the first sign of trouble? One thing's for sure. They will both need to do some serious soul searching if they're ever going to have a HEA.

*dreamy sigh*

Oh how I loved this book! I found myself reading it every chance I could! I may or may not have lost track of time on several occasions and may or may not have been late for a few things. But y'all... it was worth it! I couldn't get enough of this book! I adored Maisy and Ryan! I loved seeing their relationship develop and felt like I had a front row seat watching them fall in love. There were definitely some extremely swoony moments that had me fanning myself more than I already was due to this heatwave we're currently having in my area. These two were absolutely perfect for each other!

And while I loved most of the side characters, I have to admit that at times a couple of them bugged the crap out of me! Maybe it's because I don't have any older brothers but I wanted to Gibbs slap Fitz more than once. And what in the world was all that with Diego?! He was nice and funny at the beginning of the book and then turned cold and jerky while on tour. We never did get to find out what crawled up his butt and died. *le sigh* Oh well. At least we had lots of Maisy and Ryan! ;) Hehe.

If you're looking for a fun and swoony break from reality then I highly recommend you check out this series! I am loving it! I can't wait for the next book to be released!

Ms. Wilson is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I have enjoyed all the books I've read so far! Looking forward to reading more by her!

And for my casting... I absolutely adore these two! What do you think?

EVERY GIRL'S DREAM - -The rock star notices and it becomes LOVE AT FIRST SITE. This is not the case for Maisy Harrison. Her Dad was a musician and was never there for her or her brothers. Therefore the rules of No Dating a Musician!! Sariah Wilson has a skill of developing a story and characters that become a part of the readers life. Action never let up from beginning to end. YESTERDAY is the name of her and her brothers' band. This seems to be the challenge of our characters to let yesterday go and look toward the future. Enter Ryan DeLuna a major Music Icon with eyes only for Maisy and her sarcastic ways. READ THIS ONE ALL YOU ROMANTICS!!! This book had all the yummy elements I look for in a "take me away" romantic book.

Fun characters? ✅
Witty banter? ✅
Tension and build up? ✅
Great secondary characters? ✅
Sizzling chemistry? ✅
Humor? ✅

I knew I was going to love this book. I love everything Sariah Wilson writes for all the reasons above. The musical aspect in this book had me hooked and led to some very romantic situations! I'm swoony just thinking about it. 😊

If you haven't picked up the first book in the series, you really should! (#starstruck) This book isn't dependent on the first book at all, but it is equally as good.

Content: kissing, talk about waiting until marriage for sex

What a sweet, lovely book. I loved very much, specially Ryan. He´s the worthy swoony kind of guy.
He knew from the very start what he liked, and he went for it. It´s alwyas beautiful to see a guy who doesn´t play games and know what he wants.
I felt like the baby part was totally unnecessary and I think it was a much better solution for the baby father to be Diego rather than Ryan´s father.
But, take this out of the way, and I loved this book very much.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Serviva a me".
La band è composta dai fratelli di Maisy, uniti e complici tra di essi.
L'ambientazione musicale mi è sempre gradita.

Moonstruck is written in first person point if view and is very easy to read.

The book centres on Maisy, a young woman who is in a band with her brothers. One night her and her best friend go to a concert of a very famous pop star. Maisy is not impressed, but soon he offers her and her band the chance of a lifetime, to go on tour with him! Of course there is a catch, Ryan wants to change his reputation, so asks Maisy to pretend to be his girlfriend. That is where our story starts.

I did enjoy this book, it was a very quick and easy read. Also, I again enjoyed the little insights we had into the world of the rich and famous. It was interesting seeing the more of the world than we did in the first book, #Starstruck. Again, I also liked that Maisy had chosen to be celibate and everyone accepted her choices and never tried to belittle her or humiliate her. I was worried that this book would be the same as #Starstruck just with different names, but I didn't feel as feel like that at all as I read more of the book. Maisy and her story was although similar to Zoe's story, was also very different. I also loved the ending! It wasn't at all frustrating - I don't want to spoil it, but I wasn't so glad that Maisy realised what she had done.

I had the same issues I did with this book as I did the first one by this author. That being that's the way the book was written. It again came across as quite immature to be at times, almost teenage like and it felt very much like a fan fiction at times. But I think that is my only complaint this time.

But I did enjoy this book overall and I think I enjoyed it more than I did #Starstruck. The book was a very quick and easy read and kept me occupied while travelling.

This book was exactly what I needed. I absolutely loved it. #Moonstruck is another win for Sariah Wilson. I loved this fun, page turning story and the characters were fabulous. I quickly became a “Luna-chick”, Ryan was a great character. I loved Maisy’s brothers too. Maisy was a bit too stubborn for me but that fit her and she ended up being a great character.

Overall a nice book even though there were some things that I didn´t like, so my rating goes down to 3 stars because of that.

Salve lettori!
No, non me n’ero dimenticata.

LOVED this book!!!

I’m not sure how she does it, but Sariah Wilson has an incredible talent for writing really great stories!! Maybe it’s the first person perspective that really gets you inside our protagonist’s head, or the way she creates emotion and quickly gets you to root for characters, or the fact that she KNOWS how to write perfect swoon-worthy heroes who leave your toes curling in delight. Whatever the case, I thoroughly enjoyed this next book in her #Lovestruck series!!

Maisy is my favorite. She is spunky, full of confidence and plucky comebacks that had me either cheering for her or giggling at her verbal sparring. She grew up in a houseful of brothers who help her to be tough, but are also endearingly overprotective. Because of her father she is afraid to trust men in general but especially musicians.

Enter Ryan, our hero and oh-so-gorgeous pop singer. I loved their interactions together!! The flirting, verbal barbs, and the many wonderful romantic moments. I love how she writes such descriptive and spine-tingling romance and yet keeps it clean.

I love how Ryan treats Maisy so well and does so much to show his feelings. He’s not perfect but the two of them together are.

The use of music and song lyrics really added to this one. I loved it so much!!! If you haven’t read either of the first two books in the series, get them now and plan on not sleeping as you stay up to read! Sad I have to wait so long for the next one to come out, but I am beyond excited!!

Romance, clean although PG-13 for some intense sensual scenes (nothing explicit, but....)
This was an interesting read. Maisy's disdain for singing sensation Ryan DeLuna and their relationship that builds as he books Maisy's band (she and her brothers) to be the opening act for his band is a fun roller coaster ride read that has lovely romance, and heartfelt emotions. S.W. always gets the angst of the age, she always writes the feelings, the stresses, the emotions of her characters that entrance the reader into wanting more. This definitely had the highs and lows, the drama and beautiful chemistry that readers will love. Maisy, her brothers, her family situation and Ryan, with his band, and his desire to be with someone genuine, forthright, and loving created an engaging, heartfelt, and satisfying read. Not for all readers if you don't enjoy sensuality. This definitely pushes limits for some who are looking for clean reads.
I can't wait to see the next book in this series if there is one!
I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review. My opinions are my own.

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH NET GALLEY. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

Sariah Wilson does it again! I was blown away by this story, to the point where I read all of it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down that much!

I loved Maisy as a down-to-earth counterpoint to Ryan's stardom. He was a bit ugly in the beginning of the book, but I quickly grew to love him as well. Both Ryan and Maisy had problems with parents in their lives, but Maisy's attitude after what her father did was annoying at best, and wound up hampering the relationship quite a bit over the course of the book. Maisy's brothers were great, and I'd totally love to see what happens with them in the future!

The story was a clean romance, but didn't lack for sexual tension. I think it was a better read because it didn't have sex getting in the way of the romance building! This is one series and book that I have no regrets recommending highly to others!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was like something I would've wanted to write, it was fun, cute and simply amazing.

Ryan De Luna is a famous singer who everyone loves except for Maisy Harrison. They meet when Maisy's friend, Angie gets her backstage in one of his concerts and as soon as they meet they start insulting each other which is why she ends up leaving her phone behind, which eventually leads to Ryan inviting her band, Yesterday (her and her brothers) to go on tour with him. I loved how their relationship went from "I can't stand you" to "you're the person I want to talk to all day".

They just had the cutest friendship, they supported each other, had inside jokes, talked about everything and they simply understood each other.

As soon as Ryan asked her to be his fake girlfriend I knew I was going to love this book, especially because they already had feelings for each other.

The dynamic of Maisy's family was kind of cute, they protected her from everyone even though she had enough walls to keep everyone away.

It's great in a book when secondary characters actually have a life, and in this one, we got great stories from these characters.

I'm a sucker for great endings, especially if it includes a reference to a great movie and actually makes sense with everything we previously read, connecting everything to be an amazing ending.

The only thing I have been wondering... Why did Diego act that way? My theory is that he really loved coffee and blamed Maisy for the lack of coffee in the bus.

Already when I read #Starstruck I knew this would become a great series – don’t ask me why it was just my gut feeling.

#Starstruck and #Moonstruck are the first books I read by this author and if they are indication on the writing style her other books should be equally addictive.
She presents well-developed characters and a great story and I loved the developing relationship between the leads.
If you are a lover of books, where stars meet and engage with “commoners” these books will be a great addition to your collection.

This book had me hooked immediately it was cute and funny. Had bits of banter. I liked how it had some texts in it. I can connect with how Maisy is surrounded by her brothers influence. The way her brothers act about her dating or talking to guys is the exact same as mine do. It really makes me laugh and I connect so well with it. This book is fantastic and such a quick read. I really fell in love with the characters. It is extremely difficult to put down. The chemistry between Maisy and Ryan is fantastic, it really draws you into the book more. At first I kind of questioned it but then I realized my boyfriend and I had a crazy draw when we first met. Okay well I can’t speak for him but when I first met him I kept sneaking looks at him and tried to be around him even though I didn’t know him at all. I was just extremely drawn to this fabulous man. This book is very well written and you really feel like your there and can feel what Maisy can feel. I really didn’t want this book to end and when it did. I just wanted to find out more of what happened in their lives. It’s kind of addicting honestly. Would read again and highly recommended.
