The Rise of Ferryn

Rate this book
She left a broken girl. Damaged in a way no one should ever be. But determined to make a difference in the world. She stayed away. Training. Learning. Hardening. Bending and breaking herself into what she needed to become to fulfill her mission in life. Something righteous, but wicked in its own way. She returned a warrior. There were promises left unfulfilled. Questions left unanswered. Hearts to be unbroken. Maybe most especially her own. ** This book can be read as a standalone but is the first in the Legacy series to the Henchmen MC **

Title: ➳ ❤- The Rise of Ferryn
Author: ➳ Jessica Gadziala
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐
Publication January 21st 2020

➳ Read the description of the book & notice the triggers

Ferryn's story, I finally made it here!! It might have taken me longer than I’d liked! but who cares I made it

This instalment, tells the story of Ferryn a kick ass girl that turns into a woman. After (The Fall of V ) we didn't know where Ferryn had gone or what she was doing.

Ferryn, might have left Navesink Bank as a young girl 9 years ago, who was scared & broken! But she returned as killing machine, that had so much determination & was very dedicated to rid the world of the vial men who like to buy & sell children

What can I tell you about Vance, the man is all round amazing & that you’ll will fall in love with him just like I did ..

I know , I know this pic is bit over the top , but this is how I see Vance 😈😈

As always Jessica has left me on the edge of my seat waiting for more
On to the next book, I believe Counterfeit Love is up next in the Navesink Bank Universe

📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion+ Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.Happy Reading --- Enjoy

Ferryn's story is finally here!! I've been waiting forever for Ferryn's story to be revealed, and it was a homecoming absolutely worthy of the Henchmen Universe.

Holy Hell, Ferryn was a freaking Badass in this story,

I loved the slow burn reunion between Ferryn and Vance. These two were a perfect fit for each other. Vance was so protective, and he complemented Ferryn's Missions perfectly. I adored everything about this entire story. It was like a coming home again, revisiting so many of my favorite characters from this Universe. I was in Seventh Heaven. And that Epilogue!! Holden was such an enigma through the entire story. I can’t wait to have his story revealed in the future. I’m one very happy camper today!!

I was really excited for this book as it continues Ferryn’s story of when she was taken by traffickers. She was a teenager when she was taken; but because she had been trained by her MC family, she ended up escaping on her own. She also saved another girl who had been held captive too! When she escaped though, instead of going back to her family home; she ran away. The Henchmen series continued, and years went on with no knowledge of where Ferryn was.

This is her story!!! Of where she ended up, and what she did!!! When she finally decides to come back to her family, she finds her teenage crush has now joined her Father’s motorcycle club.. and their attraction is still there!
This is their story... and it was brilliant! I really enjoyed it, and I have to say that I can’t wait for the recluse Holden’s book! It’s going to be awesome!

I am finding that with all of Jessica Gadziela’s stories of the Navesink Bank world, I am never ready to leave! Luckily there are still many to read!! I have been reading about this world for over a month, and I’m still raring to go!!!!

When something breaks, we morn the loss of the object especially if it is irreplaceable. The tea cup from your great grandmother’s wedding collection, the ornament from your child’s first Christmas, the soup bowl from your childhood that held just the right amount of cereal every morning...if it falls to the floor and shatters, a piece of our heart goes with it.

Just over eight years ago, Ferryn’s entire world was shattered - and our hearts were broken then too.

description

There is a brilliant thing about breaking in this world, called Kintsugi. Kintsugi (See also Kintsukuroi) is the art of precious scars. This Japanese art form takes that which was broken and not only repairs the broken pieces but highlights them in all their beauty. It takes precious metal and binds the cracks to add value to the previously thought lost item. It dares to show them off.

Because there is something bold and precious about a broken object that isn’t afraid of its wounds.

Ferryn is the embodiment of beautiful scars.

description

Ferryn, while sheltered, couldn’t help but know she came from a less than legal family situation growing up. Father the president of an MC with 1% patches on their cuts, an aunt running a paramilitary camp behind tall fences and surrounded by guards, or the many pseudo aunts/uncles teaching her martial arts styles from around the world...Ferryn lived in a protective and tough bubble until it wasn’t protective enough.

Until the unthinkable happened and changed her forever. Until something inside her cracked into pieces and she made it her mission to glue the broke pieces together and show them off. Her mission to save the other shattered souls like her and decimate those who were hurting them.

description

We never forget our first crush. Vance was the boy who Ferryn dreamed about day and night, pining for the day he wouldn’t look at her like his little sister’s best friend but like a woman instead. Dreaming one day their long conversations about music would turn into long nights spent with each other doing more than just talking.

Where does an upcoming rockstar fall when his world is ripped away from him? He turns in his owed dues and finds shelter in the arms of brotherhood of the MC. Vance was one of the many who never knew if Ferryn would come home, always remembering the girl he knew and the way she left them all behind. Wondering where she landed and what it would look like if she returned.

A hero who can see the beauty in the patched up pieces of a woman who literally fought her way to freedom and a new future, Vance is the best start for the next generation of heroes in Navesink Bank’s list of leading men.

description

Most JG books are littered with side characters who leave us begging for more of their story, but this book was scaled back a bit on new introductions. Focusing instead on those who either helped glue Ferryn back together or those she had to answer to for leaving behind. 34691 is now a figure to remember. Iggy is a piece of Ferryn’s past that proves the good friends will always be there. Chris is a force to be reckoned with. Our future adventures into the NB Universe are sure to include each of them, it wouldn’t be right without them.

Because if we have learned anything from the precious scars of Ferryn is that the people who matter treasure all your pieces, no matter how they put back together. The people who matter won’t dare to throw you away, even if you think you’re beyond repair.

description

**Note: You do not have to have read the previous Henchmen MC books or The Fall of V to be able to follow Ferryn in her journey post life altering but it will enrich your reading experience.

Rise of Ferryn

Wow, I waited for Ferryn’s story since she took off in the Falling of V. Her survival and training was intense. Her mission passionate. Needed. Her determination and dedication to rid the world of the vial men who take girl women and even boys from the homes for profit is commendable. A hero of sorts. But when she returned home to the uncertainty of her family, I love how they didn’t judge just excepted her journey.

My favorite scene is when Vance went with Ferryn for the first time to have her back and once the job was done, the adrenaline was still high and Vance pressed his erection between Ferryn’s ass cheeks and the fucked right there in the bathroom of where the traffickers where squatting.

As always Jessica has left me on the edge of my seat waiting for either Fallon, Finn, West, Colson, the start of the new chapter in Florida, hell Vances old neighbor Finch is very intriguing. I really would love to read about Holden some day, there is definitely a magnificent story there, his soul needs saving. Thanks again Jessica, amazing job always.

The highly anticipated long awaited story of Ferryn is here and IWASNOTREADYFORIT.

The conclusion to her story is just. With a book like this you have expectations. You can't possibly not have them knowing the history and going through all those emotions along the way until this point. I legit thought I thought of every possible outcome to why she disappeared and what she's been doing all these years but I was wrong.

Going in I cleared my head of all the cobwebs because for my own sanity I needed to not be jumping to conclusions of what happened before I even read the whole story.

This story can be read as a standalone but I advise anyone who asks to read the previous stories in this series to truly understand everything that has led us to this point. Honestly you'd only be cheating yourself out of the full picture and I can tell you now that it is so worth it.

The Fall Of V was the catalyst that led to Ferryn's undoing. She's a ghost. No longer the same girl that left 9 years ago. Stronger, more jaded to life and it's harsh realities. But it was time for her to come home. Are they ready for her return? Is she ready?. I don't think anything could of prepared for it.

Jessica found that sweet spot. That perfect balance of the past and present giving us just enough to understand the why and how so we could be prepared for the now. The transitions between time are so seamlessly placed making it easy to follow her past whilst living through her present. I was trapped in fully immersed before I even knew what was going on. I felt anguish over the young girl so broken she ran away. My heart pounded at the realisation of what she'd become, of whom she'd become.

The evolution of Ferryn is awe worthy, inspiring and also so fucking bittersweet and heartbreaking. It's her story seen through the eyes of many and told by few. I wasn't sure how it would go but I was honestly blown away by it. It's perfectly her. The story she fought for. It was nothing I pictured but everything I never knew I needed. I feel like Jessica gave Ferryn a resurrection (she's totally a Phoenix) in a way because although those small parts of her exist in her present, she is very much a different person now to whom she was then. I was INVESTED. So invested in this story.

Vance!!!! Sweet sexy and oh so loving Vance literally snatched my heart never to be seen again. He showed what it means to love someone for exactly who they are. He was everything she needed whilst just being himself!. Who would of thought such perfection excsisted?.

Side characters are something that Jessica does so seamlessly. She has a way of bringing these new characters into the fold so seamlessly it's like they've been there from the beginning. It's crazy attached I feel to them already without even really knowing them. I want to know everything.

So as vague as this could be kept with my crazy ramblings I'm going to tie the review up here...

This story is nothing short of perfect in the way it needed to be. It's not hearts and flowers and it's not super focused on the romantic aspects especially at first. It's a story of growth and change. It's bitter sweet and at times heart wrenchingly sad. but it's also about overcoming and evolving. It's finding that piece of your missing puzzle that make you whole again. That's what Vance was for Ferryn. To me anyway. He let her breathe again. It truly is a rollercoaster of emotions jampacked into and explosive story. I waited what felt like a lifetime for this story and it came at the perfect time. It's not all wrapped up because some stories are yet to be told but from my perspective Ferryn's story was exactly what it needed to be and more.

Jessica like I always say.. you are a magical human. I love you and your books and this one for me hits number one.

Also side note!!! Ms Queen of epilogues!!you had me crying like a bitch over here with all that greatness.

Fabulous.

I’ve waited ages for this book and not just this one the whole next generation of books. But Ferryn, hers was the one I’ve been wanting and it did not disappoint.

She left Navesink Bank a young girl over eight years ago. Broken and alone but determined. She trained and trained herself into a weapon. Capable of completing her mission.

But then it’s time for her to return. Return to the family she left behind and the boy she’d crushed on forever.

Fabulous book and now it’s West…

She disappeared after escaping Hell, broken, lost, but determined to never come back until she could rise like the mythical Phoenix, a fiery creature of strength who could rain down vengeance on the monsters of her past. That is exactly what Ferryn did in Jessica Gadziala’s THE RISE OF FERRYN.

Jessica Gadziala has always included warriors in her tales, but this time, she has created her most powerful and awe-worthy one to date. Never mind that Ferryn is as much of an anti-hero as she is a hero. She has heart, grit and is ready to allow her razor sharp edges to be softened by the love those she left behind.

Each book has shown the phenomenal growth of this author as she builds gut-clenching stories that anyone with a heart or sense of right, wrong or justice cannot help but connect with. A plotline that is not for the faint of heart, emotional triggers and in the end, a sense of rightness, relief and satisfaction had me ready to re-read this one right away! The NextGen Henchmen are here and they rock!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Jessica Gadziala! This is my honest and voluntary review.

It is finally here. This has been one of my most anticipated Jessica books to date. Ferryn left us all at The end of The Fall of V and I needed more. So MUCH more Ferryn. Where did she go, what did she do and how did her family move on with out her.

This book guys has all the answers. All the emotions. All the feels. Ferryn is straight up the definition of feminine strength. The way she reinvents her self is mind blowing.

Nine years of just so much strength and training and the reason for her to be who she is meant to be. Nine years to put her and her best friends brother Vance on a path towards each other.

I recommend you catch up on the beginning of Ferryn in The Fall of V. While this book is a stand alone you will get Ferryn's back story there. And then you must experience this truly amazing book. Jessica will blow away with these characters.

A five star mission. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I devoured this book after having anticipated its storyline for so long. I would like to give it four stars just for existing, but as a parent it’s three. I want more. We had the runaway, the training, the diary notes, failures, success and the absolute need she had to protect and rescue others that found themselves in her situation. This would have been enough in any other book. Having read 18 books that mostly were about her family, the brothers, her aunts, everyone I wanted more of the connection to them first hand upon her return.

It took half the book before she was reunited with her family. What I’m saying is maybe a chapter from her dads POV was he proud, did he want to hunt Holden down? What were his thoughts. We had a little of Summer, but seeing as how she was being a true badass it would have been nice to see how Reign felt. How Lo felt, Cash as well. Then I would have liked her to put her brother on his ass. Really? He wants to take over the Henchmen one day yet I doubt he would be able to beat his sister in a fight. He had this attitude I hope fleshes our in another book where we can see him grow up. I just felt the family needed a little more togetherness to mend the fences. An open discussion maybe revelation on how rough she lived for nine years.

The romance was fine. I would have felt it was too easy to have Holden involved. He was too damaged and reclusive to all of a sudden be fixed because of Ferryn. 🙃

Absolute perfection from beginning to end!

Jessica Gadziala has hit a perfect homerun with The Rise of Ferryn! Where has she been and why? Will her family respond positively when she returns?

When Ferryn returns it is apparent in the guarded way she holds herself, and the way she responds if someone grabs her, that the last 9 years have not been kind to her. No longer is there a spark in her soft, grey eyes, they are blank. No matter whether she's safe now, or not, she keeps the mask firmly in place.

Her family has differing responses to her return. Where her mother is soft and accepting, her father is trying to protect the family she left behind - even if he has to protect them from her. And he might have to because Ferryn can't or won't answer the question of whether or not she's planning to stay in Navesink Bank.

And all the time Ferryn has someone watching over her, someone even her Dad might approve of, but what if she won't share what has happened, or what she plans to do.

This book could be read as a standalone. 5 beautiful stars to Jessica Gadziala for sharing Ferryn's story with us, I can't WAIT to see what she gets up to next!!

Note: while the majority of Jessica Gadziala's Henchmen books can be read as standalones, I would highly recommend reading Reign and The Fall of V, in order to truly appreciate The Rise of Ferryn.

I'll admit, I've been waiting for this one for a while.

At first, at the end of The Fall of V, and many of the Henchmen books that followed, I was annoyed with Ferryn. I thought she was selfish. How could someone who had grown up the way she had, surrounded by the family she had, the connections she had, just leave it all behind?

The first few chapters of this book gave me a lot of insight into where Ferryn's head was at. I appreciate her choice now.

I respect her choice now. And I can't wait to see what's next for the Henchmen.

She's back!!!!! I know this has been the authors most requested book with how The Fall of V ended. Now we finally get to find out where Ferryn has been for the last 9 years.

This was so worth the wait and IMO gave us more than I was expecting with certain secondary characters. I don't want to spoil anything so will just reiterate it's good to have Ferryn back home where she belongs.. Thank you Jessica for finally giving us this story.

I've been waiting for this book like...forever 😍 and holly sh*t Jessica didn't disappoint.
She never does.
Her books are just WOW!
It doesn't matter the genres she writes in, HER BOOKS ARE AMAZING!!! 😍❤ and this book is even better than I've expected.
Ferryn was the most mysterious character from Navesink Bank.
The one that left without explanation, the one that went missing without trace for years.
Her and Vance story is just WOW! so damn heartbreaking, gripping and beautiful 😍
The long way back home was for Ferryn a ridiculous hard and brutal time which she dedicated to a self-imposed mission to save others and herself from the horror and trauma that she experienced in her imprisonment thought her grandmother and her traffickers organization in the past. But that's a story you can read in "The Fall of V", that I recommend to read first.
This book is so full of emotions, feelings, dramas and actions that you just can't stop reading. The brutal life that Ferryn has experienced in the past nine years, had hardened her and transformed her in a war machine. She is as badass women as you can imagine, but under the surface she's still the little girl, that needs love and family.
Vance is so damn good and devoted to her that she has not other choice but fall for him, again! He is sweet and swoony, but also determined if needed. Someone and something that she doesn't even know that she needed.
A outlaw biker with a big heart and stubbornness that beats even hers.
The chemistry between them is over the top hot and the steamy parts are just WOW!
😍 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would love to tell you more about this fantastic book, but that would take the unbelievable experience that is this book. I love this book and recommend it to...yeah 🤷🏻‍♀️ to just everyone 😍❤
Read this amazing book and enjoy ❤🔥 I definitely enjoyed every second of this story 😍

The Rise of Ferryn transcends the romance genre. It has romance for sure, and passion, but also suspense and well written action scenes. It would make an awesome movie, and can be read as a standalone. Five stars.

Amazing!

There are no words to explain the incredible talent that Jessica Gadziala has. Every time her new book comes out I HAVE to read it. And every time I’m as blown away as I was when I read Reign for the first time.
I have been waiting for this book for what seems like a lifetime and the queen of Epilogues did not disappoint.

If this will be your first Jessica Gadziala novel no worries, Ferryn is a great place to start for the second generation of Henchmen/women. If you are a Jessica Gadziala fan like me, you have been waiting for this book for what seems like forever and boy does this book make the wait worthwhile. LOVED IT!

Eight years ago as a teenager Ferryn’s life was shattered, her world turned upside down in the most horrendous way (you can read about it in the Fall of V if interested). She can’t simply slip back into the skin of the often spoiled, much loved, happy, pretty daughter of the Henchman MC president. She is not able to fall into the loving and waiting arms of her parents and her extended family (the Henchmen MC, the paramilitary operation her Aunt leads), Ferryn shaved her head and ran, leaving all those who loved her behind.

But she did not really run away, she ran toward creating a new Ferryn. Putting the shattered pieces back together to create a tougher Ferryn; one with a mission to stop what happened to her from happening to others and to re-create herself as a weapon to make that mission a reality.

Now 8 years later Ferryn has recreated herself, put her pieces back together and created a stronger, tougher young woman who is dedicated to a cause. The day she beats her mentor is the day she knows she is ready to go, to keep her promise to her mother and come home, at least for a little while.

When she arrives at the Henchmen compound her parents are away but her childhood crush, Vance, the older brother of her BFF, is there now wearing a cut instead of playing the guitar and touring with the rock band he created. He sees past the tough, scarred exterior of the new Ferryn to the heart of the girl he always knew and couldn’t save or seem to forget. This is their love story but more Ferryn’s road to Vance, how she came to be who she became and how they come together to get their HEA.

Like most JG books the novel is chockfull of secondary characters, some old friends we already know and love and some new faces we want to know more about, each more interesting than the one before.

I really have only one criticism of this story I wanted more—more of Vance’s story and how he came to be a Henchmen, more Holden, more Chris, more Iggy, more West, more about Ferryn’s brothers just more.

Want a good place to enter JG’s universe and don’t want to start with the first Henchmen book, Ferryn is a great entry point to the next generation. A JG fan already this book is the perfect bridge to the next generation Henchmen. 5 stars!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”I didn’t know what Ferryn had been up to over the years, but judging by the map of scars on her body, she hadn’t exactly been knitting sweaters and eating BonBons.”
.
Ferryn survived. But she was left broken. So she ran away, to learn, to train, and to fulfill her new mission in life. Righteous, yet wicked. She came back a warrior. But she had no idea if she could heal what she left behind. Or herself.✨
.
If you love:
•Dark MC Romance
•Legacy Series
•Best friends brother
•Dual timeline
•Dual POV
Then this is the book for you!✨
.
I have waiting for this book to be written! I hoped way back when I first started The Henchman series that one day, we’d see how that little terror of a child turned out. And then in Fall of V.... Let’s just say she’s still a terror. In a completely different way. In a violent, dedicated to the mission type of way. Anti hero yet hero. She has grit and owns who she has become.✨
.
I really can’t say much about this book, I’ll spoil it. It was DARK and gritty and emotion provoking. It had some steam. I do wish it had just a smidge more romance personally. But I trust in the authors direction. And I know this is just the start of what is going to be a fantastic series!✨
.
This book is a standalone but you could read Fall of V if you wanted to get a bit of Ferryn’s backstory. Keep in mind this book is coming of age but dark. Containing violence and possible triggers.✨

Wow. Just Wow! Ferryn's story was not anything that I expected it to be but everything that I wanted it to be and then some!

After 9 years away we finally learn what our girl has been up to... Why she has stayed away and what life has been like for her. To say it's been rough is an understatement...but her mission was of the upmost importance to her and staying away we learn was Ferryn's choice. She needed to change, grow past her trauma and mold herself into the perfect weapon. And grow she did... But when she decides that it's time to go home... to face her family... Will they open their arms to her? Or will there be some resistance to let her back in? With all of those questions & uncertainty swirling in her mind she was completely unprepared to run into her childhood crush Vance at The Henchmen Compound. And once again their connection is undeniable... even though a lot has changed his ability to accept her and who she is now is EVERYTHING...So good!

This is a story about rising up, surviving your trauma, forgiveness, acceptance and family and I cannot say enough how much I LOVED this book! ❤️

I truly enjoyed this story. I wasn't sure how Ferryn would come back into the fold of Henchmen but it worked. I love Vance for Fallyn and think he is exactly what she needed, and vice versa. I am curious about Fallon and look forward to a book about him and his issues. I hope to hear more about Chris in the near future as well.

Perfect combination of sweet and salty! I love that Ferryn didn’t come back and try to act like her old self. I love the hard side she has, with just enough sweet hiding inside her to make her lovable and for you to feel her pain. Such a great story of someone taking a very hard time in their life and learning how they need to deal with the effects. Such a great read!

This book was so good! As a long time reader of this authors Navesink Bank universe I was eager to read this story. I was not disappointed. Ferryn is now an adult woman. She's been shaped, pounded, driven, sharpened into a weapon. This book let's us see how this came to be, what her sole purpose is and how she has dedicated her life to dealing death. She returns to her home town & is immediately greeted by her long time childhood crush. Watching these two sides collide was great. Loved it.

Righteous, but wicked in it's own way.

Jessica Gadziala delivers a powerful story for the girl we've all be wondering about.
After The Fall of V we didn't know where Ferryn ran off to but we knew one thing. She wanted to become a weapon.

I wracked my brain trying to think of who Ferryn would go to & I could never come up with the right answer so I just stopped thinking about it because I knew no matter what I thought up it was nothing compared to what Jessica was going to give us & I was right.

From the very first line I was hooked! I honestly couldn't not put this book down because I was finally getting all the answers to my questions & they were blowing my mind!! I could have never imagined the life Ferryn has been living the past 8 years. The path she chose & the mission she trained for. It all shocked me but then it didnt because I realized this is so right.

"I killed myself to be reborn into the body and mind and soul of someone who could do what needed to be done. I didn't do all of that just to shrug it off like a sweater that no longer fit right, go back to my old life, be that old person." -Ferryn

Ferryn returning home was a tough for me because I could understand why some people were not as welcoming of Ferryn after her basic radio silence (she wrote letters) & disappearance. But on the other hand I agree that Ferryn was absolutely correct in here reasoning on why she had to go away from her family to become what she needed to.

We also get to see what Vance has gone through all these years & the guilt hes suffered over not being able to help Ferryn. I loved watching their relationship grow & become what it was always meant to be. They really are a badass couple. 😍

This book. This book was something I didnt know I needed. I know it's only January of 2020 but this is most likely going to be my #1 book of the year. I am so happy with it.
Not to mention we get to meet some awesome new characters & see old favorites.

Ferryns story is the great ending for her but the best beginning for the Navesink Bank kids' stories. (I cant wait for Chris)

Jessica Gadziala thank you for giving Ferryn the perfect story. 🖤

In the Navasink Bank universe life was shattered eight years ago. Hearts broke from within that world, for those characters and for those of us that love these characters. As readers, we wanted, no needed to piece back together the hearts of those that live in Navasink Bank and in turn piece back together our readers’ hearts. The Rise of Ferryn answered so many questions, yet gave a fresh story. Each page helped to heal what was broken and showed yet again the strength of each of the characters. There were some surprises, there were definitely emotions and all the feels and of course there was heart-sexy-healing. I have been a fan of Jessica Gadziala since the beginning and have loved every Navasink Bank story. As a reader I may have begged for this story way sooner than it should have been told. I am pretty sure I am not the only one 😉 and it was perfect, so worth the wait.

Ahhhhhh - an inadequate expression of pure satisfaction. Reign and Summer's daughter took off nearly 9 years ago following her ordeal at the hands of her evil grandmother, V in "The Fall of V". Now, she's back, and we finally [FINALLY!] find out what she's been doing all this time. The Germans have some brilliant words, like Weltschmerz, made up by pasting the words for "world" and "pain" together to express a feeling of melancholy and world-weariness. Now, if you tacked on a couple other words, like dedication and justice, you could make up a new word: "Ferryn." Jessica Gadziala, I salute you.

Ferryn rocks the rise

Well before we start, have you read the rest of the Henchmen books? If not go, right now, and start with Reign.
This book has been sooooooo long coming as Ferryn had to 'age up', but absolutely worth the wait! A. remarkable story for two long running Navesink bank characters. We finally find out what Ferryn has been up to all the years she was gone and deal with the fallout of her homecoming.
Strong main characters, with a side cast of the old faithful, make this a brilliant story. Well worth reading, can't wait for the next one.
