Mugler Cologne Take Me Out by Mugler is a Floral fragrance for women and men. Mugler Cologne Take Me Out was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Christophe Hérault.

"MUGLER Cologne is fresh and intoxicating, with light and energizing green and citrus notes. The cologne evokes traditional eau de cologne with its pure fresh scent. But while drawing from the past, MUGLER Cologne is resolutely of the future. Simultaneously elegant and seductive, this innovative cologne perfume balances the crisp sparkle of traditional men’s cologne with a white musk, making it freshly familiar yet sensually unsettling and tenacious. Because of its duality, this unique creation can be worn as a men’s perfume as well as a women’s fragrance. Available in a signature bottle with sleek curved lines to refill again and again and again." - Mugler official info.

TAKE ME OUT is an intense Cologne that blends the brightness of an orange blossom with the freshness of a shiso leaf. Luminous and sparkling, TAKE ME OUT is twisted by the secret “P” note to release a surging energy that bathes you in light.

The fragrance is available as a 100ml Eau de Toilette from August 1. 2018.

finally an orange blossom fragrance that isn't overly sweet or bubbly. it's green and fresh, even slightly sharp, but the flowers are there, and they're creamy so they make the mix more cozy and sweet. perfectly unisex. the longevity could be better but I bought it for 30 dollars so it's a steal nevertheless.

AlaskanAngel

Typical "male" citrus freshie. I'd consider it unisex. The sweeter citrus notes quickly burn off to reveal an clean orange blossom, herbal fresh scent. It's fine. Smells like nice hand soap.

Review of official 10mL travel spray.
Decluttered.

Green notes with white florals can't see a man wearing this, very feminine...

Very sweet synthetic orange blossom, essentially what orange blossom candy would smell like. Very feminine, okay for under 20$.

This is pretty much Come Together with petitgrain and musk tuned down and orange blossom way amped up. Although not listed here, neroli still has a significant presence here, alongside with petitgrain contributing to the slight bitterness. I have to stick my nose to where I applied this perfume to get the slight pepperiness from shiso, otherwise neroli is stronger than the shiso note. The shiso note also adds to the sparkling feels of this fragrance, and with the sweetness from orange blossom, it feels as if I'm sipping a glass of sparkling orange juice. This is perfect for spring and summer, although the orange blossom could be a bit overwhelming in hot weathers. It's a nice smelling scent, but in terms of originality, there are more unique flankers in the Mugler Cologne line.

Do you ever spend a few minutes reading through numerous reviews of a fragrance and just giggle at how little you find to agree with in many of them? It's funny to me how differently we can all experience a fragrance. I guess I'll add my totally useless two cents....

Take Me Out starts with a brief opening of citrus peel with a slightly vanillic background and a hint of non-camphorous mint. It's mere minutes before all that's gone and what comes forward is orange blossom underpinned by an unsalted, aquatic, and slightly sweet green note (which I assume is the shiso, with which I am totally unfamiliar, but am loving). As it settles, it becomes more soapy but remains fresh and light, never veering into "heady" territory as many florals do. I don't detect any oily or powdery character that would typically and abstractly "weigh down" the experience of the florals for me, but there is a little spice I think I'm detecting that warms things up a bit. I find it lasts a satisfactory amount of time for an EdT (four hours-ish) and is dissimilar enough from other fragrances in my collection to warrant buying it. It's the 3rd one I've tested in the Mugler cologne line and the second I find full-bottle-worthy (I smell NOTHING in Love You All...absolutely nothing, but Fly Away is FB-worthy, IMHO). It's def not a bomb like many pillar Mugler frags can be (and I own most of them). It's friendly, fairly unisex, and appropriate for many casual situations. The packaging is simple and you can snag the big bottles for under $50 with a coupon on the grey market. I can't find anything to complain about with this one, really. I feel like it goes without saying that we always wish our fragrances lasted longer and were cheaper, but I feel like Take Me Out (which...whatever on the name and marketing...totally unrelated) does what it does at an appropriate price point. I've paid more for worse frags, I'm sad to admit.

The smell of roses

Beautiful green scent with a touch of orange blossom for the warmer months. Shiso is definitely the main player throughout the life of this fragrance and I love that. I also love the fact that it's unique, yet I think it's underappreciated in some ways. I certainly wouldn't recommend this one as a safe blind buy. The wearer must love Shiso in order to really appreciate this fragrance.

Mugler had a revelation with A Men and Angel but since then they have never done anything. It reminds me of the British car and ship building era. Great but totally reliant on a great reputation but then unable to keep to live on the past and rebranding old wine in a new bottle, or in this case perfume. Mugler has done me so many times it has had more incarnations with no notable new and fresh approach! Alas this Angel has turned into a demon. Even the cheap alternative smell alikes have stopped doing Mugler. I think that speaks volumes.

DiscoPolga

What a disappointment. First of all, the packaging is so cheap - looks like an Adidas perfume you get in your neighbourhood drugstore. Simple glass bottle with a plastic (!) cap. The fragrance is heavy on the shiso, giving it the green / minty edge. I can't call this an orange blossom scent, it reminds me of something from the early 2000s...Tommy Girl maybe? Or a citrusy deodorant from that era. I had big hopes, but ended up really underwhelmed. I'll return the bottle.

Nice refreshing orange blossom cologne for hot summer days. Cologne strength and longevity so not really worth the going price for me... I own My Philosophy Expressive which is very similar but a fraction of the price. Same performance, but I don’t feel as bad refreshing as I would if I got a FB of this one :p

Tolkashutka

Simple, maybe a little too much so for my tastes. The orange blossom is really nice and well done, and provides a nice little mood boost.

The weak longevity on my skin (2-3 hours, max--which to be fair, it is an EdT) takes what would be a "like" and brings it down to an "ok". I received two 2 mL samples (two different Mugler Orders), and I'll happily use them up for some nice spring day vibes, but wouldn't purchase a full bottle.

Take Me Out is my first foray into the Mugler Cologne line. As much as we all love our fragrances to have 1500 notes and be “complex,” there is something stately about a simple perfume, and Take Me Out really demonstrates that. I wasn’t expecting much going into the first test, but to be fair, I love orange blossom. Still, I was pleasantly surprised knowing about the simplicity. To me, this smells bright and intriguing, something I would wear regularly, and I did find myself gravitating to it on my arm often versus another perfume I was testing: YSL Libre. I have yet to receive other samples in the cologne line, which are coming, so I haven’t been able to try any layered combinations.

The shiso in this definitely gives this a slight (really slight) peppery and ultimately fresh feel. Someone mentioned this smells soapy, and I think it’s this that lends itself to that interpretation.

This is definitely one you reach for when you just want to smell pleasant on a tiny trip out while shopping, going out for coffee, or heading over to a friend’s house for a nice chat. I could see this being a decent work scent. No one is going to scrunch their face at you if you walk into the room wearing this.

The longevity is decent, at least when S P R A Y E D. I sprayed around four sprays on my left arm, and I could still identify it after about 8 hours.

lovely.these kind of orange blossom/ neroli scents are made for people who hate/are scared of wearing frags,so easy to wear, its unisex, if you loved mugler cologne you will love this too. enjoying it in winter days also

Clean, soapy and very floral. Definitely the most feminine one from the line.

Take Me Out gave me a surprise - it's louder and more full-bodied than the others that I've tried.

The orange blossom here is unmistakable, but it has a creamy sweetness - almost vanillic in nature - here quite unlike what I've come to expect.

It's definitely pretty, though "sparkling" wouldn't be how I would describe a relatively heavy scent (compared to the other entries in this series). I also don't detect the shiso at all.

Edit: I know what this reminds me of! Olympea Intense by Paco Rabanne, with its orange blossom-vanilla sweetness.

"It smelled too sweet for me like an orange Popsicle."

Exactly. Too cloying, too sweet, too feminine, too soft. Not at all for me.

Chuntset

Out of all of the new Mugler Cologne line this is the only one I don’t really love. While the other four are truly and exquisitely unisex, this one is too floral and feminine. The smell itself would be perfectly fine for women or men who don’t mind floral scents.

JEDI 2.0

This is the 2nd one I've tried out of the new five colognes.

This smells like a girl at the beach. It smells like SPF30 applied over the top of some basic girl's perfume like Lucky You or something. Very uplifting though, it makes me smile and think of Summer. Performance is pretty light and i had totally forgotten about it after 3 or 4 hours, at which point it was a barely noticeable powdery skin scent.

For me personally this one is too feminine to own, but i could see myself buying it for my wife.

muglerfan25

i really like this one. very fresh and happy!

esteban747

It isn’t a strictly green neroli, it’s a bit powdery and not as straightforward as the real bloom. I find Take me Out to be the least interesting of all the “colors”, it lacks a bit of personality.
A mellow neroli, close to skin, safe and inoffensive.
I haven’t tried yet but perhaps if mixed with Fly Away( yellow) it would give dimension to this sort of flat composition.
The middle and dry down is quite similar to the Pink color, musky, clean.
Of all the five colors, orange is in the bottom.

Chrysolaga

I sampled a few from this line, and this one was the least appealing to me. It smelled too sweet for me like an orange popsicle. I think there are much better orange blossom fragrances out there such as Jo Malone's or Serge Lutens if you are looking for that fragrance. This is more gourmand, I think. I much prefer the green, yellow, or blue to this one but don't plan to purchase any of them.

ReapThaWhirlwind

Take Me Out is an aromatic floral. It features an orange blossom accord that I'd swear was dolled up with a little extra petitgrain, and a splash of the original Mugler Cologne. Not sure about the secret P note. I would think Plum or Plumeria, as I can almost sense some kind of sweet freshening element in the deepest depths, striving to provide a little lift and juiciness.

The orange blossom essence is very reminiscent of Armani Code for Women—giving this fragrance a pretty strong feminine dominance.

The style of composure here has a very distinct profile to it. Very simple—and heady in a potentially haunting fashion. Halloween is coming up. This is the exact type of thing that you get choked out by, while passing some women in public who bathed herself in it, to immensely boost the sense of femininity surrounding her.

I can imagine the nightmare of being in a packed movie theater and not being able to move my seat, and someone next to me has drenched themselves in this. Do it—kill me now!

Not saying that no one will like this. As I speculate, this is a popular style for certain women. Your wife might get in the car one day and choke you out. However, I think this is far too simple to please more sophisticated tastes—or appeal to any heavily worn & weathered sensories.

It's simple and feminine—and will potentially make you go genderless if you're exposed to too much of it?

thethe

The most feminine of the new line.

Shaheen

Take Me Out (Orange) has a suntan lotion vibe, similar to Coppertone and the ilk. In fact, the moment I smelled this I was immediately reminded of Fire Island by Bond No 9 (another "suntan lotion" fragrance). If you are familiar with that smell, you'll know what to expect with this release.

Because of this, Orange definitely leans on the feminine side.

Having said that, I really enjoy this fragrance. It's youthful and fun, and basically smells like going to the beach.

A very nice summer fragrance.

DulciusExAsperis

i know it's immature of me but i can't be the only one laughing at "the secret P note."
