Light, airy, pretty

contristo

A nice, extremely neutral white floral. Very long lasting musk, a tiny bit sharp but in a comforting way. Not much else to discuss. I would argue any white floral replicates a springtime walk, but nonetheless appreciate the everyday use. Cannot justify the price point rn (have the tester spray) but feel like it’s something I’ll return to 20 years down the line for a full bottle. The bottle/pink is also cute considering no rose

Maricid

ok so ive got a problem with all yall reviewers. this is 100% unisex. im a guy and i could see me wearing this on a dewy monday spring morning. its really good and honestly my second favorite mm only after btf. it is nowhere near synthetic and is a lovely scent that resembles dew and realistic floral notes. idk how yall dont like this.
9/10

archerries

Nauseating burst of white florals which transforms into synthetic pear. Medicinal, sterile and soapy. Not for me.

Leolia

This smells soft and clean like a pink fluffy cloud on a spring day. Soft sweetness, not sugary sweet more like flowery sweet.
It's a skinscent but i don't mind.
I wear it at home on spring mornings and i love it.

yara.xo

well it’s nice.. but it’s 3 ingredients with a hefty price tag when the scent has been duplicated a thousand times over much cheaper brands. very boring no effort product.

boudiccea_baby

Smells like shampoo. A very artificial, synthetic floral scent. It isn’t unpleasant, per se, but you could get the same effect by using some kind of generic ‘cherry blossom’ scented lotion for about $10. A miss for me

jusknow

Smells like cough syrup, i was excited for the white florals but it’s meh

TarantuLady

Honestly, this just smells like a floral, creamy, very generic hand lotion to me. There’s nothing special or particularly attractive here. Not my cup of tea at all.

incat

such a nice fruity, fresh, musky floral !
really love this in comparison to other florals bc its not so harsh
im gonna get a travel spray of this to test the wear but 100% reccomend

Stoicchild

Overpriced, but a lovely feminine scent. An easy to reach scent for a picnic in the park. It is as it sounds, pretty, fresh, clean, airy, floral. This is a perfume I'd wear when I need to rush somewhere, but at the same time I wanna smell good. This would make a great everyday signature scent. As in when you wanna pick up the kids followed by an unexpected catch up with family and friends. That's when you wanna wear this. When you're too busy and you don't have time to think, this is the type of scent you look for, because you don't wanna overdo it. This is a go to scent. It's classy, chic and much better than Chanel no.5

Kelseys1027

The opening is lovely, but not that interesting; nice approachable fruity floral. Many hours later, it smelt sweaty on my skin

meganlamode

I normally love pear and lily of the valley in fragrances, but Springtime in a Park doesn't quite hit the mark for me. It's soft and inoffensive, but it pulls slightly like sunscreen to my nose. I prefer Flower Market from the brand for an overtly Springtime scent.

skunkymonkey

1/10 for a catchy name - but the smell is that of the toilet cleaning product - no musk , just floral cheap floral at that , yuk

stelansia

This is a very bright, very fresh, feminine, 100% daytime perfume.
I've been searching for a replacement for my old favourite scent (GF Ferre lei which is discontinued) and springtime in a park reminded me of this a bit but unfortunately its longevity is a bit disappointing.
I might purchase it again at some point cause I liked it, but I do think it's overpriced.

alien2002

this perfume has grown a lot on me. on my first spray i thought it was just another basic floral but for some reason the second time i wore this it just hit different lol. it’s clean, sweet, and delicate. it reminds me of a little pink snapdragon that just bloomed. :)

parvatishallow

I thought this was really beautiful on opening. As it started drying on my skin it lost its charm though.

I think this would be a great gift for a mom or grandma! More on the feminine side, pleasing, and pretty. Shiny and sweet without feeling immature or unsophisticated.

More of a subtle skin scent.

OzzyEyes

Being an EDT I expect it's light with not much substance so I shouldn't complain about the longevity etc. The scent is just ok, absolutely nothing special. I think you're paying for the bottle here.

tosel3

She's giving a whole garden of sparkly pink roses and blushing fairies in lily crowns.
On my skin, she's light, airy, and GORLY with a sprinkle of sweetness coming from the pear and vanilla.

I randomly wore a sample on top of Kayali Vanilla 28, and *5* people complimented me in a row at church. FIVE.
Suffice to say, I bought the bottle. 💅🏻

Happy sniffing <3

It's just ok and it takes a while to get to that point. When I first apply it smells very fruity (almost citrusy?) with the florals. If this was the overall scent I'd like it better but once it fully dries it becomes very soapy, almost like a flower scented cleaner or fabreeze or something. Then it smells like that for at least an hour. After that it mellows out in to a very light sweet floral and while it lasts for a good amount of time, it doesn't project at all.

While this final scent is pleasant, it's very generic. It reminds me of any cheap lotion named anything along the lines of 'sweet blossom'. I will admit I'm not the biggest fan of florals, but for the price and lack of uniqueness, it's not enough for me to give it more than a 'meh'.

HypnosPilot

This may be a case of possibly being anosmic to some white musk compounds, but wow.

The white floral on this is sharp and very synthetic.

After about 30 min of wear is rounds out some to reveal hints of pear and cherry blossom but they're faint and easily lost behind the lingering faux floral unless you're nose is touching the skin where this was sprayed.

This may play very differently on body Chem that darkens/deepens notes, but on mine it is a bit harsh.

Maybe good for layering with scents that need some brightening.

bluebilledmagpie

the sweetest, dewyiest floral i've tried! a bit too bright for my liking, almost synthetic. think drugstore shampoo spring scent, your favorite b&b body lotion as a tween. fake and not sophisticated, but nostalgic!

ClassicallyVintage

This is your generic shampoo fresh and inoffensive office floral perfume. The lily of the valley and the pear is nicely balanced here, however, for the price and the lack of staying power, you can find cheaper and better lasting perfumes.

daniel moss man

it has some violently sweet notes in it but its not bad by any means. its kinda mid. if you want sweet floral perfumes i suggest looking at other ones, maison tends to fair better with smoky and musky perfumes

jillvee

a fresh floral musk that leans a tiny bit soapy/shampoo-like in a clean way. I don't get much pear but once it settles on the skin, the floral softens a bit and isn't too overpowering. This is a great daytime spring/summer scent for something clean, fresh and ever so slightly romantic like a day spent having a picnic in the park with the fresh air and a soft breeze that carries the scent of fresh flower blossoms.

Jbm200

Smells beautiful on the paper tester, but personally, on my skin it smells like something my Nana has sitting on her counter for soap. Replicia’s perfumes also don’t last very long.

ShayaK

It is a fragrance that captures the essence of fresh laundry basking in the sun. Imagine the simple, clean scent of soapy freshness, reminiscent of air-dried linens on a sunny day. This straightforward and uncomplicated fragrance embodies the pure joy of clean simplicity.

Msala140

Smells like eating cotton candy in a flower park in summertime . It’s sweet and a bit floral, but generic . Only lasted about 1 hr then turns to skin scent .

mimismell

When I smelled this in the bottle and on paper, it was a sweet, soft, and fresh scent that defied my impression of floral perfumes. A little naive on my part, but I only tested it on my skin once I got home; unfortunately, I can only smell the musk and a slight alcoholic interpretation of flowers on me. Very simple and lasts barely a few hours.

bonniexoxo

I liked this perfume but it didn't stand out to me. Very clean, floral generic scent. I would rather buy something more complex and uplifting for half, if not a third of the price.

Charades

Springtime in a park smells like a flower shop and a candy store all in one. It’s a great floral, spring and romantic scent that I think appeals to everyone

oxeslevy

Very generic, slightly too sour floral. Not my cup of tea. reminds me of perfumes you can buy cheaply in highstreet shops like zara.

blossomrush

beautiful, fresh floral perfume! very inoffensive, not too sharp and the musk blends in beautifully with the florals. perfect for spring and the start of summer. definitely on my wishlist!

Hellbooru

After the initial chemical smell subsides, it dries down to a pleasant musky floral. It's light and non-offensive, good for layering, but pretty lackluster on it's own.

I personally don't think it's worth the price, the scent is simple and dissipates quickly. Unless you're in love with this particular blend of scents, I would find a generic white floral fragrance for cheaper.

HazardousEncyclopedia

When I picked my fiance up from work wearing this, he said "The car smells nice."
An initial blast of cleaning-product chemicals (Windex commenters are not far off) gives way to a soft, vaguely fake floral. I do sort of get pear and lily of the valley. They are weak and shampoo-like. It's not a bad perfume after the Windex is gone, but you'd get the same effect from a strongly scented bottle of conditioner you paid $5 for at your local drug store.

addieesk

floral but not too floral, sweet and fresh. when spring gets here i will for sure purchase this perfume

aloelo

This is a really inoffensive fragrance. It smells floral but not nauseating or overly sweet. It is a little soapy but in a fresh way. The only thing I don't like is the initial very chemical smell. Overall I love it but it is by no means anything groundbreaking and you could probably get something similar at Sephora for half the price.

Amber&Oud

alleged notes:
pear accord, lily of the valley accord, musk

what i smell:
intensely isopropyl alcohol on first sniff, dry down is a true white floral

scent event / my reaction:
smells like your friend who makes loads more money than you do bought this on a whim at sephora. something underneath the surface is kinda sharp, almost cloying?

clnsingfire

I have a three year old bottle and I have to say time has been kind to it! At first I liked the overwhelming freshness, but it was very sharp so I stopped reaching for it. However I rediscovered my bottle through mysterious circumstances… (finally cleaning that closet space I’ve been avoiding, if you must know) and found it turned very rich, deep, and dreamy while still retaining its sparkle.

Do with that information as you wish 😅

ayarossx

Has a sharp chemical note that is not really appreciated by my nose.

Almalexiel

I was in love with this sample so I bought a small bottle. But after trying it again, I couldn't chase the scent of chemical that it had. Beyond soapy, really chemical. It's happened to me several times that I'd try an amazing sample and then upon purchase, the first spray was just not the same. I really wonder if this has to do with my sense of smell (such as changing throughout my cycle or something) or whether the quality of perfume actually isn't always the same from sample to bottle...

Nena's Nana

JomaShop has a huge sale going on today - August 29, 2023 - for Maison Martin Margiela Replica fragrances.

washudtoj

There is something in this that is extremely unpleasant which I shall now endeavour to describe in words.

Maison Martin Margiela's Springtime in a Park is a floral fragrance that smells medicinal.

You read that right. Medicinal.

It smells like a cloyingly sweet floral fragrance that the sweetness is intended to cover the bitterness of medicine underneath. I get serious headaches smelling this on just one of my arms. So synthetic and ridiculously overpriced for what it is.

I am reminded somewhat of The Body Shop's Japanese Cherry Blossom Strawberry Kiss, another medicinal fragrance that I loathe. Both of them smell fake and synthetic; the difference is that Springtime in a Park is much more expensive.

I've tried a lot of fragrances from this house, and I can say that most, if not all, of them are overpriced. I'll opt for other brands in the same price range instead if I want something fancy.

Get this if you want to relive your (unpleasant side of) childhood memories when you have to take coughing medicine, which in itself is bitter but covered by a sweet syrup. This is that smell.

HannahRosesAreRed

Springtime in a Park. A simple concoction of soapy, aldehydic lily of the valley, juicy, watery pear and soft, fluffy, laundry fresh musk, meant to evoke spring blooms in a Shanghai park, in a not-so-distant past. From its appealing pink juice in that classic Replica apothecary bottle, to the lovely polaroid on the package, featuring gentle blossoms against a lovely park with a pond, it promises romance, joy and sweetness, innocent white florals and freshness.

And for the most part, Springtime in a Park delivers. The opening is a touch soapy or shampoo-like, obviously clean–the result of the lily of the valley top note. Over time, it softens, reading as sweet, gentle and juicy, airy like clean laundry of just-washed hair–or fragrant blooms drenched by spring rain. It's a little artificial, but it's so pleasantly refreshing. On my perfume-eating skin, it has decent longevity, about four hours, and clings nicely to linens.

Is it groundbreaking? About as much as florals are for spring. (In other words, no.)

Is it unique? Worth the $150 price tag? No, and no.

But is it nice? Yes, definitely. I recommend scouring for this on ebay and other sites for half price. It blooms so deliciously on warm summer nights, and brightens the spirit on sunny mornings.

MazaZilite

Normally I won't review a fragrance until I have worn it at least twice, but today I tried this Replica offering from my sample box and ... nothing. I simply could not smell anything at all, except for an initial blast of alcohol. Then absolutely nothing at all. Nichts. Nada.

It would seem that I am anosmic to this fragrance, as I am to most perfumes by l'Occitane. It is not that I have lost my sense of smell, as later this evening I smelled the most gorgeous scent on one of my clients, which turned out to be Perfect by Marc Jacobs. To me it is simply an insipid fragrance.

I have noticed that the perfumes in the Replica line are rather hit or miss - either really, really good (Lazy Sunday Morning), good but weird (By The Fireplace, Jazz Club, Matcha Meditation) or absolutely awful (Autumn Vibes, Under The Lemon Trees, Bubble Bath, Whispers In The Library). Springtime In A Park is awful too, but in a different way - it has no smell at all.

Update: I tried this again today with the same result - no smell whatsoever. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had the same experience with this fragrance?

ohuz01

Pleasant enough but by no means groundbreaking or very interesting. Smells like garnier shampoo and that dove pear deodorant. A bit synthetic i wish it leaned greener and more natural. ‘Flower market’ from the brand is a better floral I would suggest trying that if you liked this. Longevity and sillage are pretty poor. Okay could be better.

JDM3000

Soapy and pleasant, but a bit sharp. Lily of the valley is a bit synthetic smelling. Nice but I think there are better options for the money

Fountain30

Shampoo

paulamurrrz

it’s very fresh, pear and lightly floral scent, with an almost soapy dry down. i fell in love with this scent at first sniff and waited for a sale, grabbed a 3oz bottle for around 80 bucks, probably wouldn’t pay full price for this one, but it is very nice and I receive compliments almost every time I wear it. down part is i have to reapply almost every 2-3 hours since the smell doesn’t stick around long, silage isn’t great, i’d say it is intimate. It is somewhat generic and probably for a younger crowd, 3.5/5 overall.

Lovaloo

I have never understood the appeal of the Margiela perfumes. This gimmick is tired and they're expensive for how generic and unfinished they smell.

This one is watery. A nondescript fruity floral with a clean, soapy musk base. It is a skin scent that doesn't last very long. Celebrities release better fruity florals, and what's more, you can find the big 3 oz bottle for $20.

It doesn't evoke springtime or parks, it smells like shampoo. Why bother with this overpriced, underwhelming nonsense?

bleuetfane

I was not expecting much but it’s actually really nice! Sweet, overripe pear with the lily of the valley backing it and adding a light, soapy white floral note. Smells perfectly late spring, summery orchard. Inoffensive and sweet in a fruity way. Dries more cold soapy, but the pear is still there. Comes across a bit younger by nature, but I think it would be lovely on anyone; it’s not juvenile, like, say, Marc Jacob’s Daisy. You could probably find something similar cheaper, but I don’t think it’s a waste of money if you like it. Could be worn all year long by the right person, or even as a wedding scent.

Flexwithviv

It is a spring clean scent, with something slightly sharp but can't put my finger on it. I feel like you could get something similar for cheaper. I have pascal morabito's ~ Perle Prècieuse which I find is similar but for waaaaay cheaper if you do not mind tuberose, it's a good alternative.
Smell 3/10
Duration 3/10
Sillage 4/10
Quality/price 1/10
Versatility 7/10
Packaging 8/10
Would I buy again? Naaaah

cinnamon92

Not for me. This is much more sharp and aquatic than I'd expected.

Shan101beauty

Such a pretty floral, very airy and springy.

hachipuppy

Springtime in a Park has quickly become my new signature fragrance, embodying a pristine, fruit-infused, and delicately floral aroma. When applied to my skin, the succulent pear essence takes center stage, unveiling a multifaceted fragrance. While the longevity and sillage may not meet the expectations of the most demanding fragrance connoisseur, it remains an ideal selection for everyday wear, effortlessly carrying me through a busy day at school or work. This fragrance exudes a charming and unobtrusive essence, rendering it an exceptional choice for any occasion.

imegaphone

Wow, I almost bought this on the spot. The first like ten seconds are so fresh and beautiful, like the best floral shampoo ever, spring in a bottle, etc. But then it becomes so cheap smelling, like worst floral air freshener used at a gas station or something. I couldn't believe it!! I even thought it was someone else but it was me.. I just hate when that happens, when the opening is so amazing and then it's just meh or even worse.

smellslikecoffee

Nice smell. Intimate. Lasts only for 1,5 hours. Way to expensive imo.

kangbi

pretty, has a nice very simple floral scent but then eventually just smells like some sort of floral scented soap to me. not bothered though, still smells nice and clean aswell!

AnnaHeart

First day impression: I like it, despite the fact that it's a skin scent giving Windex moreso than pear. To put it poetically, it's like a pleasant breeze you catch opening up windows while spring cleaning. Lasts longer than I expected. Wouldn't purchase a whole bottle though. Would be stunning if it had more springiness to experience, like lilac or dandelion.

Enrium

Springtime in a Park is, like Bubble Bath, a synthetically soapy light scent. I dislike both of these, given the harsh, chemical soapiness that makes up these scents, and perhaps other light, clean Replica scents. SIAP is marginally better than Bubble Bath, given its lily-of-the-valley and musky pear opening, but it has the same artificial thin soapiness that I cannot abide. Given the name, I was expecting a nice green floral, but this is an aquatic scent that resembles cleaning products/cheap scented soap instead of a park in bloom. Other Replicas are very evocative of their themes, but this one is not - unless it was named Window Cleaner.

SIAP opens with soapy, green muguet, identifiable but thin and wan - far from a decent rendering of this delicate, pretty white floral. I know that lily-of-the-valley notes are always lab-created, as it is impossible to gather sufficient oil from the tiny white bells to use in perfumery, but here it doesn't even pretend to be realistic. Some musky pear follows, but is fleeting - I can no longer smell any pear a quarter of an hour in. It becomes cleanly musky, fading quickly to a wan, watery hint of white soap on my skin. Sillage is intimate and longevity is weak.

A feminine-leaning spring/summer day scent, this is clean and barely-there, in a similar manner to the unpleasantly artificial Bubble Bath. Its limited performance and chemical soapiness leave me cold. 1.5/5.

HeatherMuffin

The is a really nice fragrance, but I wish it didn’t have the fresh aquatic notes. It’s not a love for me. I would call this a sporty floral. Like a really nice floral mixed with adidas after shave. For reference, I love the innocent, green castle-garden type of florals, like Gucci Bloom & Diptyque Ofresia. This is not that. But I’ll keep it and use it when I’m in the mood. It’s nice enough.
Edit: it’s not nice enough. 😳 it was so soft and nice dried down on paper but on skin and clothes it’s a headache sharp smell. for me anyway. I discovered Diorissimo edp and it’s a way better LOTV for me.

angel1120

eefs

A soapy floral fragrance, I don't get any pear. This one was better on paper, on my skin it smelled very synthetic. So far I'm not a fan of any of the Replica freshies. To my nose they're all a bit harsh and have a certain soapy undertone that doesn't do it for me. If you like simple floral scents you might like this, but there are much better fragrances out there to fit that bill.

CuppaTea23

Basic, smells a bit like air freshener. Disappointing

tgirl1991

Smells like a very basic, non-offensive floral. It's not the most well-balanced perfume as the notes are pretty indistinguishable, as most other people have said in the comments here. It really just smells like a strong blend of florals and not much else.

Scent Description: Sweet, Powdery Floral
Sillage: Intimate, Within an Arms Length
Longevity: Light to Medium, ~4 Hours
Presentation: Basic Bottle, Pink Liquid

nhubella

I test it out at Nordstrom directly on my skin.
From the name to the notes of this perfume, no doubt that it's very feminine. It has floral and green together so nicely. I do feel like walking in a park in the spring, very lively and lovely.

aldinatic

This one is rather sweet then anything else.

thebakingbrunette

I assumed from the pink color and the name of this fragrance that it would be floral. All I can smell wearing this is a generic aquatic smell. Maybe it is "springtime in a park" by the park fountain? It is not a bad smell, just reminds me of bath&body works.

Hungryroses

Simple. A bit artificially, hard to decipher any actual notes other than floral and alcohol. Not too sweet, either.

LSAUG

Springtime in the Park smells very similar to Hermetica Jade888 to me. Another perfume that I hated. This is very obnoxious. A cheap fruity lily of the valley soap or bubble bath or lotion smell. The pear in here is fake smelling, the lily of the valley is fake smelling. There is an aquatic tonality here that is also off putting and harsh. If you want a nice Lily of the Valley you can easily score in ULTA try Clinique's Happy Baby Bouquet instead. Don't bother testing this if you want realistic lily of the valley. Really, Really bad stuff here.

jamieH

I really like this perfume...I was a bit unsure when I bought it, but there was just something about it that kept pulling me in...a strange familiarity. The marketing for the Replica line is that they recreate moments from life through olfactory memory. Our sense of smell is the most closely linked to memory after all.

This really does just transport me to a beautiful park in full bloom in springtime just after a sunshower. I get compliments all the time. It's fresh, light, airy. Not overly floral, very bright.

GrenadeGirl

I like this SO much more than I thought I would! I'm not really a florals person, and from the reviews I was not optimistic, but I just LOVE this one on me!

The pear opening is breathtakingly good, and the dry down to a simple, light, floral blend I just find perfect for day time wear. It is such a fresh, happy scent!

This is an unexpected but 100% a big bottle buy for me! For you..? I'd go with a tester first because it really does read like this one is very different with different skin chemistry.

chrissychrispants

This fragrance is so disappointing! There aren't really any discernible notes for me - it's floral, but in a vague sort of way as well as being weak in the sillage and longevity aspects.

If you like pretty feminine florals you'd be better off sticking with the certainty of Pleasures or Beautiful.

Lucky I only purchased the 10ml travel spray because this is way overpriced for what it is.

snopea

this smells cheap. sharp and synthetic. reminds me of b&bw sweet pea.

supergirl9412

Short-lived fruity, citrusy opening that settles into a slightly soapy LOTV/musk blend.

Ok lasting power; an easy grab for spring and would layer well with others because of its straightforward composition.

I LOVE the idea of this, and while it does play into the fantasy of a springtime stroll in a park on a beautiful day .. it’s just not that unique or special. If you have a white floral that you already love, I’d recommend sticking with that.

youlllo420

smells alright, very feminine, but I would wear it. Soapy, sweet kind of like sugar. not fruity, I wouldn't be able to pick out a pear note unless someone told me. It has this, squeaky, plastic, soapy quality to it in the florals that alot of the feminine replica perfumes have. wish it had some more depth and sweetness.

bea777

Beautiful just like it's name, this scent is a new favourite for me. There's something about it which reminds me of my childhood growing up in a small village. It's not the most unique or complex scent but for me it doesn't have to be. This scent does exactly what I want when I reach for something from replica, it's comforting and an easy reach.

OTA Mom

Understated and graceful green floral. My favorite of the MM line.

Frejaaa

Refreshing, pretty, smells like the name, springtime in a park, sweet flowers, and cool spring rain.
It reminds me a lot of my mom (46 years old). She always wore jasmine and lily of the valley fragrances like when i was a kid.
Her signatures were J’adore by Dior and Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey and those def remind me of this one.

spectrral

springtime in a park opens with an incredible pear and bergamot smell, with a gentle undertone of sweetness and cherry from the blackcurrant. the pear provides a very soothing sweetness, while the bergamot helps to brighten the scent with it's citrus and woody smells. the middle notes of jasmine, rose, and lily of the valley work together to create a very fresh smelling floral after the initial sweetness and citrus begins to die down. the jasmine is the most forward of these three notes, and works to create a more unique floral than just "rose and flowers". underneath all of these notes are the base notes of musk and vanilla, which help round out all the sweetness and florals by providing a comforting herbaceousness when combined. it does definitely smell as if you're sitting on a bench in the park as all the flowers begin to bloom, and that's not something i'll complain about

lct

a nice fresh floral but not that memorable, feels a bit overpriced considering how many similar perfumes there are

ca$hm3re

This reminds me of English Pear and Freesia from Jo Malone London.

It is a photorealistic floral fragrance that smells nice and pleasant. It’s feminine, but in a clean and simple way. I’m not sure at this price whether it’s worth it, since you can get this same scent profile for a lot cheaper and probably with a better performance too.

It is nice and pretty, but I’m at a bit of a loss of what to say about it. It’s not very ‘anything’ to me I suppose. I feel impartial that it’s in my collection. Any layering ideas of how to spruce this one up a bit?

clairesque

Impression from a paper strip: I absolutely smell jasmine in this even though it's not a listed note. This fragrance is a more green, naturalistic version of Lazy Sunday Morning but with the same musky base.

JamesGamez

Floral, soapy/musky, slightly fruity. It’s very fresh, slightly sweet, and light.
It’s a perfect dumb reach for the warmer days.
It’s okay. It isn’t worth the $ they’re asking for.

Jerome75h

Replica – Springtime in a Park
£99.00 for 100ml (tested from a 2ml tester)

Top notes: floral, pear
Middle notes: white floral, fresh musky

Opening to a fresh green/floral scent I can definitely get the jasmine and lily of the valley with a hint of pear, continues after about half an hour to an hour to settle on my skin and gets just a little balanced with a musky base keeping the floral and fruity notes shy. Scent 7.5/10

Longevity wise, keep in mind that since I am a male I have only sprayed twice on my wrist, I got 3 hours. Nevertheless, give a try with a full wear. 4/10
Sillage is also poor, opening arm length, quickly drying to a skin scent. Only wished it was a little bit stronger. 4/10

Leaning female, I can also appreciate this on a male for its simplicity, but definitely female.
For what it is, you are paying for the brand, I believe this to be overpriced.

Simple, fresh, and pleasant this is a perfume that I recommend for someone looking for an easy and clean spray and go for sunny spring or summer day. Very likeable and inoffensive it makes it a good blind buy if you based it off the name which is accurate. Overall, 6.5/10

klioux

I adored this one on paper when I first sampled it in store - as someone who lived in Shanghai in 2000, it perfectly encapsulates the waft of bright delicate flowers walking through Century park on a humid summer day. There was also something slightly spicy (anise?) that made it more interesting than a standard floral.

Something about Maison Margiela clean scents always turns into a soapy powdery mess on my skin. This could be Beach Walk or Lazy Sunday Morning or Bubble Bath - they are all equally forgettable and unpleasant. The florals in this give what I call a "pollen tickle" - it makes me want to sneeze.

Edit: wearing this on a warmer day, the opening pear punches a bit more and the powdery musk hangs back. This is closer to my first impression of this fragrance that I loved so much. I'm also sampling this next to Jazz Club and surprisingly the anise note in SitP complements the pepper and sage in JC quite well.

angelsvice

smells like floral detergent. uncomplicated but also boring. it doesn't smell like it's price tag.

idealtype

Opening is gorgeous fruity floral. Lasts for about a minute then dries into a odd artificial candy sugar exactly like those Valentines candy hearts. Empty and cold feeling.

demonpuff

Surprised by the projection, longevity, and sillage from this. Reminds me of a Tocca perfume. Sugary white flowers with fresh rain. Very pretty and inoffensive.

PLK

I don't understand the low rating, this is a floral fragrance done well, sweet, fresh. Sometimes I wish I was a woman to be able to wear this kind of scents.
EDIT : the drydown is where it's falling flat, you get a synthetic floral vibe that's okay but not memorable, the juicy pear that was there in the opening isn't here anymore.

cowboyfuel

Got this from the 10 x 2ml Replica sample set.

It’s… okay. I get what someone else said about the sweet tarts — that’s nice. Just wish it had more depth. Perhaps add some fruity-sweet notes? The florals are nice, but it *could* be more. That’s the sad part. This fragrance could be so much more, but it isn’t and I can’t do anything about that. A fine fragrance. Not much. Just fine.

qqcheeky

I love this one. Its fresh and clean and floral. Everything I want from a spring perfume. I’m working to get a full bottle

AshBud

Smells like a sweet tart candy scented laundry sheet with baby powder. I dont really get any of the notes listed and its not particularly floral. Not bad but not great either.

typeonegative333

I LOVE this. It may not be the most unique, it's a fresh floral & not complex, but it's beautiful and feminine. Very potent and oily for a toilette, it performs well and is gorgeous.

Annimirjami

I personally like the fragrance. But I would personally use it during the spring/summer time.

Edemay

I’m shocked at the reviews
This actually stood out to me as one of the nicest scents

Starts super bubblegummy, fresh and sweet
Dries down to be a cleaner musk with a herb twist
I love how it smells clean and soapy but also sweet and not dated.
Lasted on my skin and clothes for around 6 hours.

I swear theres anise in this or something similar because its very obvious in the dry down

funeralparty

This is arguably the most weak and underwhelming fragrance in the entire Replica line. The opening is just a basic spring floral, a decent combination of lily and pear, but it turns into an almost undetectable skin scent within an hour. I was hoping this would be a little more fresh and green but the dry down is so powdery for some reason that it stings my nose. I lost my tester so I probably won’t wear it ever again.

yeesa_

This is a nice soft floral. Not screechy or sharp at all. Its pretty common though and doesn't project a lot

Dina France

I hated it on a blotter: too much alcohol and musk. But it sounds totally different on my skin: Pear Bellini! Surprisingly it lasts 3-4 hours, but no sillage at all.

DinaFrance (perfume reviews on youtube)

Cazza759

I was hoping for more pear scent - I really can't smell it. TBH, I am not really smelling lily of the valley or musk either. This is very floral and a bit generic. Not horrible, but I was disappointed.

likesleet

floral, but sweet, fruity & syrupy

DragonKing03

I had this over two weeks. And i have tested over that time with other replica fragrances. I got 10 samples for $35 bucks.

I’ll keep repeating this statement i have dry skin, so fragrances won’t be the same compare to someone with normal and or oily skin. So sillage and longevity will vary.

Sillage is about a little over a arms length then drys down to a skin scent. I think three sprays should do just fine. But nothing wrong with 5 sprays but the sillage will increase to about 1 and a half a arm.

The longevity is nothing special. About 4-6 hours. So if you are going out for the whole day bring a small vial to reapply.

Now the scent, i love it. Floral and a hint of fruitiness, and it’s a nice enjoyable sweetness. And it’s not overbearingly sweet like some “feminine” fragrance. I think there’s more to the fragrance than what’s listed. I get a bit of roses and lavender. For the fruit I do get pear I have a feeling there’s more but i can’t really identified them.

I feel like this can be use for the hottest/mildest days of spring or the coolest of summer days.

For the price it’s okay. If you like floral and fruity scents that are light to the mild sweetness. I think this is a good blind buy.

Rating: (i do it like how 2k does it)
Projection: 81/99
Scent: 97/99
Longevity: 78/99
Overall: 85/99

hestica

went out to look at perfume and ended up buying this, it cost 50 aud for 10mL and its really nice! i can smell small hints of moringa, sweet blossoms and a random flower that you'd find at the park lol. as nice as it is it doesnt have a lot of sillage and it kinda reminds me of a perfume my rich auntie would wear in 2014.
id give it maybe a 6.8/10 <3

Starlight_moon

Floral and musky. Quite boring and unmemorable. The longevity is pretty much nonexistent. This fragrance does not justify a price tag it comes with. Luckily I only had a tester.

matildasidrun1234

the first time i sprayed this on my arm it smelled exactly like baby wipes, which was a little offputting. after a few minutes it kind of blended in and became a fresh floral scent, that's just perfectly a little powdery. it doesn't have a lot of sillage, but still lasted pretty long on me. tbh i don't really mind that it's a more close to skin scent, i think it really fits this fragrance. overall 8.5/10, but i wouldn't purchase a big bottle because of the price.
<3

wednesday272

This is lovely, I quite like it. Not sure I’d buy a bottle given the price, but I do enjoy it

l_02mx

Linear, basic, fresh, and inoffensive. Pear and lily of the valley note is most prominent. I would consider this a safe blind buy. Smells pretty nice but ultimately not for me. Having trying a sample set of MMM I am finding that these scents do not last on me.

giantenemykat

My husband really likes this on me, but I feel it might give me a headache. I don’t think it would be worth the price. I could get something similar at bath and body works…

Patricia888

Non descript fresh perfume. When I smell my wrist I do not feel any magic or added value for this scent. If I would just like to smell straight forward clean and fresh I would use this scent but usually I want much more from my perfumes than that. It`s true fresh flowery perfumes are not my cup of tea to begin with but interestingly I have been wanting something more flowery and bright for the spring time but this does not do it. Hope you have better luck with it.

fruitypurr

this is the sweetest scent of white and pink flowers, cherry blossoms, hints of neroli, baby powder and sugar. not my favourite as i tend to steer away from florals and especially extra feminine ones but i like that this one is so sweet and light and refreshing. maybe a 6.5/10, not my thing but really cute

honeyapple

smells like febreze….

jeannebelmondo

Springtime in a Park comes in a Barbie pink juice and the scent certainly matches the color. It's a very traditionally feminine, straightforward and linear counterpart to the blue juiced traditionally masculine, straight forward and linear Sailing Day. Except this has quite a bit more personality to it than the rather anemic Sailing Day.

This one opens smelling like the nectar of a dewy tropical fruit, very transparent and watery-sweet. Definitely appropriate as an office fragrance or a young girl's first fragrance, and feels like it would just as easily belong as a Clean perfume or Guerlain Aqua Allegoria flanker. Then it turns into a strong kick of lotiony, soapy rose and scented talcum powder. The lily of the valley, which is incredibly forward and present in this perfume, gives this otherwise light and dewy young girl's first perfume a bit of a vintage powdery quality.

The drydown is rather lovely -- a sweet, juicy tutti-fruiti tropical fruit accord with white florals and a soft, powdery feel. Not for me, but pleasant to smell. After an hour or two it becomes a skin scent and after six hours it is completely gone.

I agree with another reviewer that Springtime in a Park, despite its serene name, mostly gives "popular girl in high school that wore Ugg boots and doused Victoria's Secret body sprays in the locker room" energy. It's the cheerleader girlfriend of Sailing Day, which in itself also smells like generic locker room aftershave. They both deserve each other. They're both $150. They both smell like much, much less than that.

qofb

You've got to like musk, and not just musk, irisy powdery makeup musk. This to me smells a bit like my grandmother's face did after she'd powdered. It's got a vintage feel. Makes me think of the 50s. It's pastels and prim and proper.

perfumedrinker

smells like pink bubblegum but like in a cool way. reminds me of the feeling you get when ur crush kisses you and your knees go weak and ur heart beats faster and ur head starts to spin. also the before trilogy of movies. not jazz club so maison margiela u are forgiven <3

Eribert

Light pink floral shampoo. Airy. Smells squeaky-clean and proper. Very (upper?) middle class.
Probably a nice gift for a young girl who you would like to feel special without making you seem flirty or distasteful.

For people from their late 20s this fragrance might lack in profile, although I think this isn’t a product you can go terribly wrong with.

This is as much as I can say from smelling it on a paper strip. Not my cup of tea, but I know there is a target group for this kind of perfume.

bunnyamaretto

smells like b&bw sweet pea to me. sharp and synthetic. lasts 6+ hrs

lihsinhsu

The name is perfect for this scent. It is springtime in a park, but the romcom kind where the colors are very vibrant and saturated. Very pretty and pleasant, albeit a bit forgettable.

Frangipanilove

Another pretty non descript offering from the Replica range. Inoffensive floral on musk base. Nothing too interesting. The Replica range seems to be more scents as opposed to perfumes, very simple, quite synthetic and a bit dull. No one will remember these a few years down the line.

luminaries

A really pretty and nondescript floral scent. The first spray isn't that great, it felt strangely muddled with the pear, but the dry down is a beautiful and subtly sweet lily of the valley. Absolutely reminds me of spring and walking in a blooming, botanical garden. I used to own Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet and if you like that perfume then you will most likely like this as well. It's not needed in my wardrobe because I have other florals to use up this summer, but I did enjoy this one a lot!

Konga5000

This is BEAUTIFUL (even though I think it replaces Flower Market ? Which is no longer made ?) . I was impressed . Even though many reviews here are accusing this of being chemically charged - this smells AIRY , sheer and fresh .

nickinicole

It smells nothing like the notes suggest, and it's weirdly sharp. I like it once it dried down, but I'm not interested in fragrances that I don't enjoy for the entire experience.

Jasmine7

ambrox nightmare; no florals, just pear. not sure why that’s not indicated anywhere. washed it off because it was giving me a headache.

xtxw43u

This perfume is beautiful! I pair it with Eccentric Molecule 01 to enhance the scent. I always receive compliments. Give it a try!

mamablais73

really pretty floral scent, i was surprised at how much i liked it. didn’t last very long though which makes it less worth the price tag for me.

audilaw

No regrets, totally worth bottle of a perfect floral recipe.. Not like the floral you’d imagine, it’s even better.. Countless times I have worn this out and been complimented. Sometimes I wonder where a pleasant floral musky scent is coming from, and i realise it’s from the ‘Springtime in a Park’ on myself.. dry down works amazing for me

jessyux3

I really wanted to like this one, but it opens up with too much of a sharp grassy note. Like fresh cut grass on a Sunday morning. Not nessicarily a bad smell as it is "crisp" and "pleasant", just not what I want to smell like. The dry down smells like both a beautiful flora shop mixed with bathroom tile cleaner.

saphire51

When I tried the sample at the store, I loved it. All I smelled were the beautiful floral notes at first. But a few hours later, It dried down to a sickly sweet resiny, oudy, scent. When I looked further online into the notes, I saw that it had ambrox. Had I known that, I would have never bought this. I do NOT care for the smell of Ambrox, Amberwood, cashmere, or oud in my fragrances. they give me a headache. Luckily I only bought a small purse sized spray. I will look around at church to see if one of my friends will be interested in having it.

jayanna

this scent does nothing for me — nevermind. spring break came around now i wear this to bed

antoniov

I feel this one should have been called Bubble bath or Bubble gum. This is how a bubble bath should smell compared to the actual MMM Bubble bath fragrance. It's cheerful and playful, and performs well on my skin, longevity could be good too.

juliannmay

MY FAV so far from the Replica line. I've only tried about half but omg im obsessed! Its fresh, light, floral, sweet. Definitely feminine. Really nice scent to wear for work or a day out. Longevity is pretty good. I usually do 3 sprays around 6am. Its 11am and still going strong!

Teenabeana

The notes for this fragrance are not complete on Fragrantica. There is definitely black currant in the top notes that mixes with the pear and florals and gives a light fruity top note. I get jasmine and musk too. I really love this one. I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe the subtle fruit notes give it a lift. It is not your typical white flower powder bomb. It’s light, subtle, complex, with maybe a touch of plastic (fruit again?) in a good way.

karinevandal

Love at first sniff! Can’t wait for springtime so I can buy a full bottle of this beautiful, airy & uplifting fragrance! I’m usually a diehard fan of warm & gourmand fragrances but this 🤩

Its that kind of scent that puts you right away in a mood, it brings you instantly in a beautiful garden. Early in the morning, its breezy, you know the sun is not completely up, still kind of chilly outside, while you walk, hand in hand with your lover! So romantic! Thank you MM for creating those magical realistic scents!

To me its strictly feminine. I would not picture a men wearing this!

And for some reasons, the notes on MM website are different from Fragrantica

TN: pear, bergamot, blackcurrant
MN: lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, rose
BN: musk, vanilla, ambrox

P.s. also, its a perfect gift for Mother’s Day 🌷🌺

pipergirl

This is such a bright, sparkling, pretty springtime floral. Perfect for weddings, Easter egg hunts, baby showers, lunch with friends. I could definitely see Charlotte York from Sex and the City wearing this.

Ya3895

I smelt this scent , and got straight up fruit punch juice 😬 eh not for me

Mariyamokshina

Very floral , fresh air like burns my nose because of it’s sharpness

Unefragrance

There is a soapy element that makes this smell like toilet air freshener. It smells really cheap like a bath and body works spray.

Having said that, it does last quite a well on me, 4-6 hours. If you do like this fragrance then I feel the price is fair.

4/10

Nataliemarie

This would be nice if there wasn't cedar in it. It's very prominent. I LOVE LOTV, but whatever it is that smells like Cedar, messes it up for me. Pass.

Remmel

Springtime in the Park is half Home Depot garden section, half sour gummy worms. It's a very airy, pretty scent, a perfume I'd imagine a fairy would wear. It's pleasant but doesn't really fit my vibe, I'd enjoy it more on someone else. Doesn't really last though, a common link between all of the MM replica scents I've tried, which is disappointing.

MrsMRe

I was surprised to see the Lily of the Valley note listed. It's one of my favorite scents, but I didn't get it at all in this fragrance. On me, it is a slightly tart/fruity generic floral with that hair-spray-ish-ness that you smell when you walk through the fragrance section of a department store after a busy day of spritzing. For Lily of the Valley, I'll stick with Diorissimo.

Aromalie

If I were to describe this scent in one word, it would be “nice”. Genuinely nice. It smells light, softly floral and subtly sweet. I liked it at first sniff and it really did evoke images of a sunny day in the park. Uncomplicated and uplifting. I’ve also been told by someone that it smells exactly like a bar of soap they once had. I assume it’s the lily-of-the-valley, which used to be a popular scent for soaps. This changed my perception a bit. I now picture the classic good girl or girl next door, mid-late 20th century. She smells wonderful but not in a perfumey way. More in a always clean, fragranced body/hair care way. Because of this, it’s an easy reach for every day. My only complaint is that it’s nowhere near special enough to justify how expensive it is

sirop de Liège

I recently bought this after trying it in the store, it was a love at first sniff for me. If you like Chanel Chance Eau Tendre I'm sure you will like this one too.
Notes according to Margiela website
Top notes: pear, bergamot, blackcurrant
Middle notes: LOTV, jasmine, rose
Base notes: musks, vanilla, ambrox

EternalPog

Agree with Chelsey below. It is nice, but just feels too generic for me for the price. Nice fresh sweet floral scent, reminds me of having a picnic in the sun in a park with family. Nothing too much but really does feel like a perfume you could probably get for 1/3 of the price, or even something from a body spray to be honest.

Also barely lasted long on me at all - maybe around 2 hours before I could barely smell it anymore. If it lasted longer I would have given it a like but with how little it lasts, hugely disappointed :(

BrittneyN

@dmoond Are you trolling, or just usually an offensive person. Your post is ignorant, not funny and bigoted.

Chelsey325

This is an okay, inoffensive perfume. To me it isn’t anything special and reminds me of something from Victoria Secret or Bath and Body Works. Sweet Pea maybe? It is a pretty, linear scent but nothing special. Nice for daytime or work.

AnnaElli

Fresh white floral with a hint of fruitiness. Delicate, inoffensive, inconspicuous. Pleasant and easy to wear as it worked quite well with my body chemistry. But it didn't make me actually fall in love. I like fresh florals, but there a many more interesting perfumes of this type on the market, so I think I'll probably won't purchase this one. But if I got one as a gift, I would probably enjoy wearing it.

BrittneyN

Reading some of these reviews all I can say is skin chemistry can be a funny thing lol! I received a decant of this from a friend and it's really lovely, nothing I haven't smelt or owned before, but it's fresh, somewhat soapy, feminine and just lovely. naomiscarlet961's review is spot on- I definitely detect Bergamot and Rose in the background to the LOTV. However, I detect no musk at all, which some of you have stated is overwhelming on your skin. This smells very pretty on my skin, but I've had better versions of this scent at a better price too, so based on that I doubt I'd ever purchase a full bottle.

MaVidman87

When it comes to perfumes, i am NOT picky. I love pretty much every perfume that comes my way - I have no problem doing blind buys because I know i like pretty much everything...but i HATED this perfume. Smells like super cheap fake flowers - like calgon body spray from the drug store - but with nowhere near as much lasting power. All i can say is...yuck.

naomiscarlet961

here are the correct notes as taken from official website
Top notes: Pear Accord, Bergamot Essence, Blackcurrant Accord
Middle notes: Lily of the Valley Accord, Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute, Rose Damascena Absolute
Base notes: Musks, Vanilla Accord, Ambrox

heatherrose

I'm so perplexed by this fragrance. I felt, upon sampling this, that this was too complicated. It's so strange to me now seeing the notes consist of only pear, lily of the valley, and musk. I felt like this smelled extremely synthetic like an over ripened pear made from plastic - really strange and off-putting. Maybe it's just me? I was excited about this one and really wanted to like it! Bummer.

Jordandavisrobles

When I first sprayed this scent I was mildly underwhelmed but I find myself reaching for it more and more as the weather gets warmer. In fact, it’s one of my most worn fragrances. It’s just one of those scents that make me FEEL pretty.

Though it seems to be a hit or miss with those who have tried it, I’d recommend it to anyone who likes light, clean, fruity florals. I didn’t find it cloying or headache inducing and I’m sensitive to some strong scents (any Mugler or Nest fragrance puts me out of commission). My only real complaint is that this scent doesn’t last super long on me and normally I get longer than average wear from fragrances.

FragranceSal

With all due respect to those who like this fragrance, and with the preface, I don't care for overly sweet perfumes, to my nose, this smells cloying and cheap. In my opinion, the longevity is dismal and the projection fairly weak, but given the scent these are not particularly bad qualities. I wore this while telecommuting and am glad as I personally would be embarrassed to wear this scent in public.

Maggieg103

A headache in a bottle. Opening a sample vial, I got a light spray of droplets on my hand and I can’t scrub off the scent. Wow is the musk in this strong. The floral could probably be lovely without the sharp musk but heaven help me if I get into an elevator with someone wearing this. It is not for the office or any enclosed public space.

Beccyb95

When I first sprayed this I thought it was ok - not special but an inoffensive white floral. However, with wear I like it less and less. It’s a very very strong LOTV, which I don’t dislike but I don’t want in this quantity. Quite green, a bit soapy, and very sharp to my nose.

toriwithat

I really like this scent. In the bottle, I wasn't impressed, but something about my skin chemistry makes me feel like the cool girls in high school that I desperately wanted to feel like. They wore ugg boots and VS perfumes. They were clean, happy, and not living in a hoarder home. I spritzed some on and laid outside in a field in the sunshine and shuffled tarot cards until it got too chilly and I got hungry. Beautiful, but my self confidence is not worth $135.

fragem

The opening notes smell EXACTLY like the Trident Sugar Free Tropical Twist gum. I don't even know how. Trident's Tropical Twist has kiwi, mango, and orange inside. Maybe it is pear? Then, during the dry down it smells like very basic and simple soapy white florals. This does smell like Springtime in a Park but overall not full bottle worthy.

lnoskin

This performed completely different on my skin and on my clothes. Obviously skin chemistry factors in but when I first sprayed this on my wrist the white florals were soooo overwhelming so I thew it in my purse as a last option sort of thing. I forgot about it then realized I left home without perfume so I sprayed it on me and I liked it soooo much better. The white florals were much more toned down and it was such a soft pretty perfume. I definitely need to test it out more.

bdragonfly12345

If you don't enjoy lily-of-the-valley, then walk right on past this one. It's possibly the most intensely lotv scent I have ever smelled!! Backed by a strong musk, I think it's much more suited for cooler weather--it could be completely overpowering in heat. I don't get much of a pear presence.

If I was to blind guess, I would have thought this was a scent from "Clean", not "Maison Martin Margiela". Great longevity, but not really something I want to wear.

agp293

Despite the fact this opens with a pear note, which I hate, I love this. I was planning to buy it until I smelled my sample again just now, and I realized... this smells almost exactly like L'eau D'Issey, which I already have. It's the same clean watery lily of the valley. So that's it then. I won't buy the perfume, and I'll continue to enjoy L'eau D'Issey.

If you are on a budget, it doesn't seem necessary to have both, and you may want to check out the Issey Miyake fragrance before you buy this one.

stacia79

Reminds me of the 90s. The "little girl florals" I wore in adolescence. Pretty, inoffensive, perfect for Bible study or Lolita fashion meetups.

justlikemagic

This really does smell like the air of a rainy spring morning mixed with a light touch of fabric softener. Fresh and clean. This would be a good scent to wear to the office or run errands.

NDStars

First blast of bright white flowers and fresh clean air. A couple minutes later and the musk starts to anchor the light florals. I'm not one for floral perfumes but this one is diaphanous enough to not give me a headache. Most definitely a female leaning perfume and perfect for everything except a cold day/night.

6+ hours later: it's mostly gone but I can catch a whiff of florals when I press my nose hard into my skin.

ginandrice

I think I’m the only one who smells this, but for me, something about the tanginess of the pear mixed with the musk smells like anise or sweet licorice.

It’s still a predominantly floral fragrance, and airy smelling, like a cool, clean breeze. But there’s also this mild underlying note that’s a bit darker, and my brain insists on interpreting it as anise. I think maybe it’s meant to be overturned earth, like someone’s been planting bulbs in the flowerbeds. Anyway, I like it.

Unfortunately, the poor longevity and sillage kill any chance of this being FBW for me. I’d have to reapply it every three hours in order to get any real enjoyment out of it.

lemonblue

This is lovely! It smells like a perfect cool spring day in the late morning. The wind is blowing, no one is out, the birds are mostly quiet. The only movement is you walking and bees hovering over the blossoms. Fresh, sweet, pretty floral, neat, and lovely. Nothing more or less. It really feels like springtime in a park! I could see men wearing this as well, potentially. Out of the box, it definitely feels like one more women would reach for, though anyone would smell lovely in this! This musk keeps it from being too sweet. Simply delicious!

michaeld2986

I get a lot of cherry blossom in the opening and plums. Overall, I think it's a beautiful fragrance and I wore it a lot in the spring/summer. It's not a beast fragrance, but it's more subtle. It states unisex, but it leans more feminine although a guy can pull this off. Longevity is low/moderate with 4 hours. You will definitely need to reapply mid-day. Not bad at all and I'm glad I own it, but not sure I would consider purchasing a second time.

Wwoman

By looking at the consensus on the notes, you would think this is a pear heavy perfume. On me, it is not. Sure pear is there, but it's well balanced by lily of the valley and musk. I'm not sure how pear, a fruit that is harvested in fall, belongs in a spring themed fragrance, but what do I know? Overall the pear gives warmth to the lily of the valley scent, which is classic spring, and the musk helps it last. It smells good, but it's not the most unique, mind blowing combination in the universe to me.

kkaattjjeess

Wow this is delicious! I would strongly disagree with any and everyone in the below comments calling this cheap smelling, I'm looking forward to the day when BBW body mists will be this nice!

The name of this perfume suits it 100%: bright, fresh, cheerful, optimistic. The juice being pink I'm not sure about, I would associate this scent/name with a light green liquid instead.

I wish these perfumes were cheaper or were available in smaller sizes, I currently have the discovery set so will live vicariously through the 2 ml samples, I guess!

Edit: I just had a revelation, the reason I love this so much is I've been eyeing Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita for months (currently the only perfume in my 'want' list), and both of them have pear as their main note. They aren't dupes or anything, but quite similar in some ways!

Edit2: This is the love child of Chanel Chance eau Tendre and Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita.

Oliviaf11

i love this! it's floral but also very fresh and clean. not in your face. very balanced. when i first tried it i can only think of describing this scent and very pretty and girly! a great spring and summer fragrance.

kml24

At first spray, this smells mainly of sugar, then the pear develops as it progresses into a sugared pear, then a sweet floral pear. I never got any trace of lily of the valley with its earthy/green aspects, but something like pear blossom or apple blossom, a sweet light floral with a little of fresh crispness of pear plus sugar over top. Lovely and springlike and fitting for the name Springtime in a Park, but not a lily of the valley scent if that is your target. Lasts a few hours before becoming a barely detectable sweet musk. It's a beautiful light fruity floral that isn't the cloying fruit of red berries or the sharpness of citrus.

The Sephora page for it mentions blackcurrant and shows ad copy with what looks like bergamot and jasmine at best guess, so who knows what notes they are going for.

brightflashes

Pleasantly surprised by how sweet it is! It's not sweet in a cloying way though. It also smells very clean. The three notes are blended well, but can also all be detected. There's something fizzy in here to my nose, something that evokes a cream soda type feel. However, without tonka bean to explain it, I don't know what exactly is creating that impression.

Solid sweet fragrance with moderate silage and longevity. Doesn't trigger any headaches or sinus issues for me. Personally, I'm not reminded of Springtime in a Park, but the fragrance is pretty. It's not the sort of fragrance I typically wear so I'm not going to get a big bottle or anything, but I'll enjoy the rest of the day wearing this and will get more use out of my sampler as well.

Smeegal9

I do not review often, but feel like this fragrance deserves some respect. I put it on at 1pm and at 7pm its still going strong-That speaks to the longevity. I feel like this is a very uplifting floral, yes like freshly shampoo'd hair. That is a smell that I truly love over all perfumes. And I love a lot of perfumes.

Emililiy

This is my second time wearing this fragrance, a week apart. I really enjoy this floral, fruity (but not too sweet or cloying) spring/summer fragrance. It has bit of musk at the base. This MM offers better longevity that some of their other spring fragrances (Under the Lemon Tree vanishes on me in about an hour.) While I prefer my Cartier Baise a Vole Lys Rose for spring, this is a nice deeper floral alternative from time to time.

Very clean musk with fruity florals. Great casual and outdoor scent. Opening smells like one of those Red, White, and Blue Firecracker Popsicles to me. :) Does get a little bit cloying in high heat.

Pretty flowers. Pretty pink and white flowers. With the stem... and clean air. Breezy spring air. I like it!

EnergeticCrab

It is as the notes say! Pear, musk, and lily of the valley. A little soapy too. Light and clean. That said, nothing truly special. It's pretty safe.

Love this scent so much I have to register and leave a feedback. This was a blind-buy gift from my boyfriend, which turned out suprisingly pleasant!

The scent on my skin is such an elegant, feminine, fresh floral scent, with a light green note. Wearing it feels like walking into a sunny garden, with breeze through your hair that brings out dewy, comforting soapy scent after a clean wash.

Spring time in a park is simple and pretty, not quite unique but draws smiling glances from others. Sillage is moderate, but longevity is amazingly long on me, even better than strong and sweet winter perfumes. People still ask what i am wearing after 8hrs, in extremely hot and humid weather (~35°C).

This is a perfect spring/summer scent and a great first buy from Replica line. Definitely will buy another bottle from the line!

I rarely review perfume but Springtime in the park is such a deception! It smell like a cheap soapy floral not only it smell so generic it is not even well done. I paid way too much for a 10ml ! So beware before purchasing a full bottle.

QVT

Smells incredibly cheap. You could easily pass this off as a BBW or VS scent, but those tend to be brighter and often have less musk.

I just received a few samples of this and wanted to leave my initial impressions: this scent is marketed as unisex, but in the fragrance world context, this absolutely tilts feminine. It's a nondescript, inoffensive floral that really doesn't elicit any particular memories of any sort, other than my grandmother's cheap, dime store fragrance.

This seems like the successor to Promenade in the Gardens/Flower Market, and any pear or fruity notes are lost, removing any possibility of gender neutrality.

Shame as I had high hopes for this one.

Clean soapy floral, I like it a lot. Very airy and pleasant. I’d love it after shower, before bed. One thing I can’t agree to is that it’s a Eau de toilette and it’s $130 + tax you can get amazing niche edp for this price.
I love but I’ll be on a look out for a discount.

Upon first spraying this scent, I get this pleasant, almost minty/spicy pink bubblegum combination going (the LOTV is likely responsible for the spicy/minty smell but I don't know where the pink bubblegum note is coming from lol) and then the pear comes through, but as already stated this is not a sugar-soaked candied pear, but rather one that you eat straight from the tree. The musk smells nice, as well, not dryer sheet clean, but not synthetic deer butt smell, either. This is really nice and I'm leaning toward a full bottle if I can find a good deal online.

This smells exactly like when I was little and I would give my mom a big hug and put my face in her hair. I think Violetgoblin was right, this is totally Pantene in the early 2000s.

Otherwise such a fresh, soapy, clean fragrance! Will definitely be wearing the hell out of this one all spring and possibly summer. Staying power is okay, nothing special. I get maybe 4 hours out of it, but because it is such a refreshing respray I don't mind!

Violetgoblin

I love it, knew I would because of those notes! Pear, lily, musk? Yes, please!

On first spray the nostalgia hit like a brick. After a few sniffs I realized the scent is absolutely identical to the second rendition of Pantene, circa 1999. After the iris version that remained an 80s, 90s staple for years.

Peach, but here it is pear. Perhaps the Pantene was supposed to smell of pear and I remember the description wrong? Absolutely delightful and utterly perfect for spring. Cant stop sniffing my wrists. Lovers of Petite Cherie will adore this.

lmwimsatt

I get mostly florals here, not muguet but cherry blossom

Lots of dewy fresh pear here, but it doesn't come off fruity, sweet or gourmand at all. It's pear without any of the sugar.

This scent is definitely a light floral, but with a fresh and soapy undertone. There's a sense of humidity to it, if that makes any sense... like clean smells that emanate from a warm bathtub you've filled with lots of lovely oils.

Not that they share specific notes, but there is something about the mood of this scent that makes me think of a couple of my other favorites: Tokyo Milk's Tomorrow No. 68 and Commodity's Rain. They just share this aura of being so very clean and aquatic, with Springtime in a Park being the most feminine of the three.

I would recommend giving it a try, if you're a fan of dewy, airy scents.
I do find the sillage to be really strong, which is good or bad depending on your preference. I'm not sure if I'm just having a sensitive phase, but I have been finding it a little overwhelming, although I'm not normally sensitive to smells.

This is so lovely! like a walk in a park on a spring day, I can say Jacques Cavallier is gifted at evoking images and places through his perfumes..there is simplicity here, but it isnt ordinary...now it is feminine, fresh, pleasantly musky, the green undertone is dewy and smooth..it isnt like overly flowery, the lily of the valley is tender, there is a velvety quality to this pretty scent..now , if you dont like pretty feminine scents, look elsewhere! longevity is nice, I will probably buy the bigger bottle in the spring..smells great!!

Unfurling Blossoms

There is a musty, almond smell with a flat stale-sweetness to it. I don't get freshness from this at all - watery lightness, yes, but it's as if someone took a nasty rotten blob of moldy almond nut-cheese and dropped it in a bucket of watery notes - it just doesn't belong there and ruins the peace! The same horrible note is found in Zoology's Dragonfly but to an even greater extent - this scent is like Dragonfly's watered down cousin. I am severely disappointed beause I was hoping for a photorealistic depiction of the real thing... and this just isn't it.

louiee

What a scent.
I adore most of the Maison Margielas replica scents, but this one is complex and yet so simple.
Lovely lily-of-the- valley, sweet pear on a musky base.

Fresh, clean, young and feminine. Love love love. Light and fluffy as a summerdress.

Silage is far better than most of the others from the same line and longevity is a bit below average.

In the middle of the winter this makes me longing for spring...sigh ...

sarage

It's fall but I wanted to try this and I think I found my next spring fragrance! Fresh, delicate green scent with lovely muguet and pear notes, which I love. I finished my Diorissimo, so this might just replace it after the winter. Very lovely scent!

ArtDecoStyle

A beautiful, clean and elegant green/flower scent. Probably the lightest flower perfume that I have ever experienced. Moderate sillage and lasting power. Great for spring and summer but also great to brigten up dark rainy days. Appropriate for office environment. Much more feminine than being masculine.

I<3Perfume

This is there grab for the Asian market. Sounds like it's going to smell like Petite Cherie which is a bigseller here in Japan. Pear, Muguet and Musk. Those are pretty much the strongest notes in Petite Cherie.
