Bought this one blind and Coco Vanille cause I love everything Coconut... I don't like them at all so gave them away. This one smells nothing special, don't like it all. Even not for a home perfume.

Lidiah

This one is so Hyped. This smells just like Alien Goddess. I sprayed both side by side and they are very similar. I returned Mancera.

cats_eye

Love this one but unfortunately it has a potato type note on me on the drydown. It's so nice other than that. On my mom it's really nice

YoungLukas

Imagine yourself lying down on a beach, its 30+ degrees, the water is warm and everything perfect, youre drinking either a pina colada or water straight out of the coconut. Holidays is the perfect name for this fragrance and it suits the smell perfectly.

Longevity is superb along with sillage projection.
May lean a little bit feminine but a man could definitely also wear this.

8/10 because the wear is quite hard, but very mass appealing, sweet and perfect for super hot days.

rev0lut10n

Suncream mixed with seaweed and rotten cucumber. A very weird cloying/offensive drydown on my skin. I wanted to like it because I like the idea of a scent that reminds you of holidays.

Just wanted to add that I'm a Mancera fan, so I'm not hating on the house as such, I just genuinely disliked this.

Dreamsicle818

I have to say that I'm a little shocked by some of the reviews. Of course everything is subjective, but I am so impressed with the blending on this fragrance that some of the negative reviews are out of left field for me.
I haven't had the best luck with many Mancera fragrances because, like many others, I get a lot of that synthetic vibe that just sticks in your nose and doesn't go away. However, Holidays reads as something much more sophisticated and well-blended to me.
As a yellow & white flower lover, tropical scents always make me happy. A lot of them have the same overall vibe, which can get boring. Holidays is so different because, while not listed in the notes anywhere, it has what reads to me as a tobacco note that runs through the fragrance, giving it a very different profile. Rather than a tropical, bubble-gummy or sunscreen type of feel, it has a darker feel that is very rich and sexy. It still has the classic yellow flower and coconut that leans tropical, but rather than a "day at the beach" scent, this is more sexy. This isn't the girl that's laying on a towel at the beach getting a tan. This is the woman who's caught your eye across the bar. You buy her a drink and ask her to take a walk on the beach well after sunset. You're walking through the sand, catching the cool salty breeze. You can smell the night-blooming flowers and the wet greenery nearby, remnants of coconut perfume she was wearing earlier in the day, and the cigar someone is smoking further down the beach. So, so sexy.

This is different enough from the typical tropical/beachy fragrances in my collection that it stands out as something I will always want to have on hand! If you're on the fence, buy a sample. It really needs the warmth of skin to come alive so don't make a decision by smelling on paper alone!

khaleddd

i got the worst compliment wearing it "that's a nice smelling air freshener". also the headaches keep getting worse i think i'll pass on it for now.

Suze58

Soki London’s ‘Aphrodite’ knocks all other tropical fragrances out of sight, and with 40% perfume oil, it lasts longer, too.

khaleddd

i like the smell although it smells synthetic and cheap a little, and it gave me a headache from the first two sprays.

From all the Mancera’s I own, Holidays is my most favourite! I am unsure of the reasons why this is not more popular or hyped!

I personally feel that in 2024, if you’re looking for a creamy scent constructed around tropical florals, milky coconut, sea water, smooth bergamot and sandalwood with a very delicate, clean, white musk base, sold for a very low price and you want a long lasting but not suffocating perfume for summertime, Holidays is my number one recommendation!

I am aware that some people find Mancera scents very artificial and synthetic smelling but this is not the case with me. I bought my bottle two summers back and since then I haven’t really used my Beach Walk, my Terracotta, my Soleil Blanc, my Hibiscus Palm, because Holidays smells very similar but outperforms all of them!

Naming it Holidays is perfect. Catching a whiff of this juice transports me instantly on a tropical destination.

If you don’t have a summertime scent in your collection and you want one for the summer of 2024, this is my number one recommendation. But this only for ladies, this is not a unisex scent, like many other from Mancera!

Adog22

Reminds me of a hotel room in Hawaii. Very sweet and floral and super strong. Two sprays and I could still smell it in my room hours later. This isn’t similar to Soleil Blanc. This is a lot sweeter and a lot more floral. It’s definitely feminine I wouldn’t call this unisex. I would have preferred a more suntan lotion smell. This almost smells like a candle or room spray.

esquette

Did this scent change? Or did my nose change? I'm getting such a strong ocean vibe that I don't remember from my previous decant. I'm hoping it dries down into the sweet vanilla coconut scent that I remember. :-/ Because now it just smells like Juliette Has a Gun's Vanilla Vibes to me, which is not my favorite.

headkace

For some reason upon first spray I get bubblegum (?). It’s dense and sweet, will be wearing in the summertime!

Melly88

This fragrance is absolutely stunning and I can’t get enough! I had my eye on this one for a while, along with Guerlain Terracotta and I’m glad I opted for this one because my long hunt for the perfect “beachy” fragrance is finally over. This smells like a luxury tanning oil and takes me exactly where I wanna go. This fragrance is everything I wanted Bobbi Brown Beach to be and wasn’t; this IS Beach, but sweet. I wouldn’t compare this fragrance to Replica Beach Walk, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess EDP, or even Alien Goddess as Holidays is a completely different beast. This fragrance is also a POWERHOUSE so those who suffer from headaches should probably stay away from this.

Scholesy84

@tglong95
I had the exact same experience with TF Soleil Blanc and was so disappointed with its overall performance. I'm blind buying this scent on Friday so I'm excited to experience it and I'm expecting everything you've said

fallz

Smelling something like this reminds me of why I love testing out fragrances, especially ones that might not fit my preferred scent profile. The opening hits hard with a lot of white flowers but after 5 minutes it drys down to a nice creamy coconut milk complimented by vanilla and sandalwood.

You could consider it synthetic but it really annoys me that people automatically assume synthetic=bad because this is absolutely not the case with this one or most Manceras. Anyway, there is no need to worry about performance with holidays because one spray on my hand lasted 8 hours. This is an easy wearing all day lasting summertime fragrance that I highly recommend!

tglong95

UPDATE: I now own a full size bottle of this instead of just the sample vial - and one thing I love that I missed before is when you have a proper atomizer to apply this evenly on your skin the sandalwood really comes through in the drydown. For me, it only makes me love this frag even more!

A few months ago I smelled Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc for the first time and fell in love with it - I loved the feeling of having a fragrance that immediately transported me to summer vacations at the beach with my family that was wearable enough that you could really wear it any day any time and it wouldn't feel out of place. However, after giving it a try on skin I was pretty disappointed with the performance of Soleil Blanc - so I started looking for something that gave a similar vibe but performed better on my skin. That search led me to Holidays by Mancera and let me just say - this is the one!

Holidays smells so inviting and pleasant and has the coconut, vanilla, and aquatic notes that I love in Soleil Blanc but this one performs soooooo much better. A few sprays of this will last you all day and while it's definitely a strong fragrance I don't think it's so strong that it would become cloying in the heat of summer. If you're someone who loves the beach and wants a summer fragrance that is a bit different from your normal "blue" scents like BDC or Light Blue than I'm pretty sure you will love this. I am absolutely obsessed with this.

mmmmgood

just a wave of sexy sweetness. And absurdly HEAVY. You have to dig a VERY longlasting perfume, to rock with this. I think one of the reviews below said something about a caramel note they kept smelling. Yea, I get it...but the entire soup of vanilla, coconut and sandalwood, can probably account for some caramel, with the sweet density that those 3 notes give you. Id wear this, warm weather or cold...its all in how much you spray w/ scents like this one.

crissy25

I adore this fragrance! It's an easy reach for me in warm weather. It's a creamy coconut and vanilla dream. As with most Mancera fragrances, the performance is quite good. This fragrance is exactly what I imagine when I think of a beachy, coconut scent.

Longevity: 7/10
Projection: 7/10
Overall Experience: 9/10

MissMarco

Loving this. And so happy I finally have it. Coconut, tiare flower and vanilla really make a dream combo here. I wore it to work and it didn't choke anyone. I love the cloud of scent when it dries down even in the heat. It seems thick but it isn't really.

DariaDark

🎶If you like Piñacoladas and getting caught in a rain, and the smell of sunscream, if vanille's not your pain. If you like to make love at midnight in a dunes of a cape, go and get this sweet perfume, it's the perfect escape!🎵

Lykopa

At first whiff, I get sandalwood and sea notes. Settles into your generic woody fragrance. It’s…..not for me at all. Incredibly disappointing. Woody and dusty with none of the fun vanilla or coconut I was looking for.

joeyj0jo

Holidays is a calming, simple scent that grows on you. On first sniff, it does smell a bit like a basic air freshener, but throughout the day, it transforms into a warm, smooth, sweet delight. It reminds me of lazy summer afternoons at the beach. Tiare flower and vanilla are the most prominent notes; I barely detect coconut. I don't notice the sea notes on clothes, but the dry down on the skin is definitely a "salt left on the skin after a swim in the ocean" vibe.

I need to overspray (10ish sprays) to notice it throughout the day -- but when I do notice it, it's so wonderful! It doesn't project as much as I expected. I asked my friend if he could smell my fragrance, and he had to sniff my neck to notice it. However, layering with Ambroxan really helps with projection and longevity. I've been wearing Holidays for a week and have made a substantial dent in my bottle. I love it more and more as the days go by.

Holidays is a casual scent. I would assume someone who smells like this would be easy to get along with and doesn't take life too seriously. It is unisex, but I think a woman could pull it off in more situations than a man -- as it leans a tiny bit feminine. I would enjoy smelling this on a man that I knew well, but probably not on a man I'm meeting for the first time -- not sure why, but that's how I feel, haha.

I am a big fan of Olympea and the Olympea flankers -- Holidays is a streamlined, more grounded fragrance. Kind of like if the Olympeas had an older brother. They're not the same, but definitely in the same family.

Sauuu6

my most complimented fragrance and I have many good ones

LanaD

Does anyone can detect mint note ? It’s great for hot summer days.

Silverquick

On me it reminds me of Alien Goddess. It’s ok. Sweet, coconutty with a touch of citrus and sea notes. No florals at all for me so it’s a bit flat and only feels like a background scent . Pretty strong as expected but nothing interesting for me.

Datura-Darling

This is a simplistic, yet nuclear, beach/suntan lotion type scent that treads the well trodden path of using the notes of coconut, tiare flowers and ylang-ylang, with a vanilla base.

When I first sprayed this my partner remarked it reminded him of something from childhood. Without knowing what it was it reminded him of holidays and being at the pool. So, in that respects, the name is apt and it does what it says on the tin. During the dry down he then let me know it also reminded him of those bath pearls from the 90s too (more nostalgia!).

I agree with how this reminds me of some Alien Goddess, especially with the sweetness, and recalls memories of other beach/holiday style scents in the same vein. Guerlian's 'Terracotta' and Tom Ford's 'Soleil blanc' are much more refined, interesting though... far less artifical sweetness going on, along with a more unique character. If anything, this reminds me more of one of my favourite summer perfumes - M. Micallef's 'Ylang in Gold'. I prefer M.Micallefs offering though... which feels less synthetic overall and more balanced and smooth.

If you want projection and a long lasting summer type smell in a perfume, than you can probably easily blind buy this. If you like the other perfumes listed, and don't mind more artificial sweetness, then you'd enjoy wearing this. I would get a bottle if I didn't already own many similar, and better, perfumes of this character.

Ghostkiller4kandy

Screechy floral with salt on me,no coconut just smells like loud pool eye sting chlorine, to me anyways,I guess you have to have chemistry for this, everyone I know hated it,said smells strange, weak for a mancera&smells better this one hours later on clothing ,gross to my senses if I'm honest.

koyinaj

Love at first spray! If you like Angel Goddess or Soleil blanc, you'll like this- it'is the same dna but better than the others imo

Projection and sillage both amazing!

PoyDiamanteNYC

Blind bought this. Not too sure if I should keep it or give it to a female family member. Too floral for me. Gna test it out for work and lets see how if it goes.

(gave it to my Mom instead)

BootneyLee

Floral vanilla cupcake.

Kuty22

I don't like this fragrance
I couldn't convince my husband to take and use it 😌... He says it's too floral and sweet 🙄
I've tried wearing it and to my surprise it lasted and smelled gorgeous?! Nice sillage, but not cloying or too loud
Yet... I don't like it

Edit: to my surprise I like it now 😆
After 1 year of letting it sit

stardenise16

Mancera Holidays is pretty weak and doesn’t lasts on my skin. It also smells very cheap, will pass on this one.

NoirMemoir

Pass on this one from me. I ended up with a 10ml decant by accident, decanter made a mistake with the packages. Anyway, onto the scent: Mancera Holydays is a coconuty, creamy, powdery fragrance, better suited for women in my opinion. Problem is, it comes across as cloying and somewhat lactonic to my nose. I wish i picked up on the salt, couse it would balance things out.

Im not a big fan of sweet fragrances in the summer but to my surprise i kinda enjoyed JPG Le Beau Le Parfum which is another sweet summer fragrances with a prominent coconut note. I proud myself in not being a "squeemesh" person so i don't really "hate" any fragrance. Im not saying i hate Mancera Holidays eighter, because i realise everything is subjective, but personally i don't like it.

Gave the decant to my mother. On her and in the air, it will be better im sure of it.

Update: Even in the air, smelling it off her i don't really jive with it. Powdery lactonic coconut...nope sorry.

RabidRob

Really like the scent but unfortunately my skin doesn't agree with this and it definitely feels like a holiday sunburn.

nguyenminhvu15091998

smell like old Crayon

autumnblue914

Creamy sweet coconut with tropical and salty touches. I really expected it to be sweet and heavy but it's really not, but at the same time it lasts and projects quite well. I'll consider getting this as my first Mancera.

flem

Salty and sweet. Coconut and beach sand. Unfortunately for me, that means it very likely has calone in it. Which sends me straight to headache-ville. But I think this could make you happy if you’re looking for something that smells like coconut, salt water, sandy skin and not much else.

mikely

Heaven in a bottle 🔥🌸🌺🌷💥☀️ strong and long lasting Mancera is my fav and never disappointed 🌊🎯

leximayxo

Maybe I got a bad sample (used twistedlily) but i hated it so bad. Smells nothing like the notes, just smells like cheap plastic, so nauseating. I unfortunately sprayed this sample on before school in the morning, instead of a fresh one I wanted to try, and I was gagged. I tried to scrub it off but mancera is beast mode so I could still smell it through the day. Made my day really bad to be honest. Just dont blindbuy.

grafgr

Beach vibes amped up to 11. Definite love.

Scotty123

Summer beach fragrance. It’s like you stepped out of the sea still with your coconut sunscreen blaring of your skin, with florals in the wind. It’s somewhat soapy on my skin but I feel like that is what makes it an extraordinarily unisex fragrance to my nose. However I could see how an insecure man wouldn’t be able to pull it off. This is one for whoever wants to smell like a tropical vacation can wear. Perfect for summer nights out at a bar or club, since it smells like a pina colada in a bottle.

Forbiddenjade

Somewhat, the notes here read as disconnected and created an olfactory cacophony.

I own Terracotta and to say it has no character, or sillage/projection is hilarious because T is nuclear. Clearly, chemistry plays a major factor in how a perfume performs on different people. Terracotta is on another level than this Mancera. It also was the trend setter for all sunscreen vibe fragrances that were born after its release. It's classier rather than mainstream, loud but not screaming in my personal experience, and one can understand without a shadow of a doubt the quality of its ingredients.

To me, comparing Guerlain to Mancera is alike comparing haute couture to street fashion. To each his own of course, but I will stick to Guerlain then. I was intrigued enough to test this, because I don't shy away from plasticky or synthetic smelling scents - some are fun! - but on me it wasn't as pleasant as I had envisioned. Pass.

AlphaLlama

At first it seemed very sweet for a summer fragrance, but after wearing it to work a couple of days now and the weather being quite warm and sunny.. i can say it works very well. On my skin i mostly smell vanilla, a little coconut and a watery floral note from the sea notes and floral notes mixing together. It easily lasts all day and people do really like it. I’m a dude in my mid 20s and i love wearing it, despite what the ratings say i still think it’s unisex. Give it a try!

Peaches&Cream

WOW!! I am in love with this fragrance. I get the tiare flower, vanilla, ylang-ylang and coconut. Such a sweet, creamy and tropical perfume that lasts the entire day (13+) hours. This does not cause me to get any headaches which is great, the ylang-ylang is too strong yet I am able to detect sweetness.

I think men can get away with this, both genders can wear it. If you haven’t tried this yet I suggest you add this to your cart!!

davidstopka

Beautiful summer fragrance. It just feels like summer in a bottle, its reminiscent of sunny day and the beach. I mostly get the coconut, ylang ylang and vanilla. Its really sweet but not cloying.

nanaa_from_ghana

I just want to preface that the houses of Mancera + Montale are not for everyone and that’s totally fine. Yes, some of their fragrances are obnoxiously loud and sometimes a little too synthetic, but they’re made for people who want their fragrances to perform.

That being said, Holidays is another coconut-sunscreen scent on the market. But what sets it apart from other sunscreen scents that I’ve tried is the seawater note in this. It’s cuts through all the sweetness of the coconut, vanilla, tiaré, and just the overall sweetness of this scent, and makes it different enough from Coco Vanille by Mancera and other scents in this category. To compare it to Soleil Blanc, Terracotta, Bronze Goddess, etc. isn’t right because none of those have that aquatic, salty note in them.

From my experience, the aforementioned scents don’t have a good performance (especially Terracotta - which is pretty, but painstakingly boring with horrible performance) but Holidays does not lack when it comes to performance. Yes, it’s loud in projection, but to say “this is for people who want to feel obnoxious” is childish lol. Again, scents are subjective so if it didn’t work for you, just say that instead of turning people away from trying new things. The lasting power on this is great, as are most Mancera frags. And for the size of the bottle you’re getting and how little you have to use, I think it’s great compared to something way overpriced like TF Soleil Blanc.

As expected, this a scent for the warm weather, spring and summer, and I see it more as a daytime scent than an evening one. I can see someone wearing this out on a yacht party, or getting brunch by the water and having oysters and cocktails. This is easily unisex and I’m happy to have it my collection. I can’t wait to wear it out more this summer.

Edit: I’m coming back to my comment and seeing that I may have triggered some folks with what I said. I’m only comparing Holidays to other popular sunscreen scents on the market and giving my review of Holidays. I’m not comparing my personal opinion of Mancera frags or their quality to that of other houses.

Bordo

Superb performance!!
As for scent profile, it is the one truly generic "tropical vacation" scent, with sweet floral coconut (+ vanilla) mixes with aquatic/ozonic notes. This is pretty much what you get. Not a gourmand, due to ozonic/aquatic seawater note. I understand this note and how it makes this perfume into what it is, but this is not something I would love on my myself, as I find seawater off putting at least in such coconutty floral vanilla setting.
The dry down is a bit nicer maybe, but also with overly sweet, almost nauseating vanilla which you can find also in Mancera - Coco Vanille.

HeatherMuffin

This and all Manceras are a 12 year old boy screaming in the middle of target because his mommy didn’t buy him a new Switch . … this is for people who feel obnoxious Holidays is A nice scent under there somewhere. But it will yell at you.

Doesn’t even compare to Beachwalk, Terracotta, Soleil Blanc, Bronze Goddess EF, or Aerin Hibiscus Palm… Holidays is so ridiculously over powered, and never calms down. all of the other beach scents I have in this profile are gorgeous nicely balanced, and on another plane.

I doubted whether people meant it about Mancera & montale, but they meant it.

suzanne_ronald

BUTTERY TIARE with Sweet, Marine COCONUT. Opens with a burst of coconut-bergamot, that deepens into a floral heart of tiare with sweet, coconut, buttery, salty & marine nuances, all resting on a creamy, musky vanilla-wood base. Overall I get a sweet, buttery tiare-coconut scent that deepens into near-honey with salty marine touches.

Contrast to Alien Goddess Mugler:
These are different, but there are some similarities with a sweet beachy vibe. AG has a more forward jasmine, while Holidays has a more forward tiare flower, and a salty marine nuance. As they dry down, they become more and more similar. Both have excellent performance.

Contrast to Monoi Vague d'Ete Yves Rocher:
These are different, but the tiare flower is done in a similar way. MVdE is less sweet, and the tiare is more forward, buttery and succulent. Both have excellent performance.

Contrast to Olympea (OG) Paco Rabanne:
These are different, but there are some similarities with a marine-salty vanilla. Olympea has a more forward water-jasmine, while Holidays has a more forward tiare. Both have excellent performance.

Overall: Excellent performance, and the buttery tiare flower is maintained throughout the sweetening drydown. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

apt23

If you're after a salty coconut this is it. this is and coco vanille are brother and sister, coco vanille is that beautiful sweet, coconut while this is the salty coconut. Definitely gives a more realistic beach vibe if that's what you're looking for. It gives the vibe of baking under a hot sun with sun lotion on and saltwater that's drying on your skin. long-lasting and major projection, a classic summer fragrance :)

PalmiPalmi

Mhh.... I don't know.
I just blindbought and it's aight.
I really love coconut but here it's made differently than what I expected.
It's still good, really versatile and smells like the beach.
Still don't know about the longevity and projection so I'll try it today and let y'all know.
Talking about the notes.
The vanilla isn't embracing the coconut, it's kind of engaging in a war, I'm not saying they aren't good, I just think they're both a bit too toned up.
About the tiare and the ylang-ylang, they're a bit overwhelmed by the coconut and the vanilla.
So, overall.
Smell 7.5/10
Versatility 8/10
Bottle design 10/10

Elenar10

This is a weird and cheep smelling fragrance. Very synthetic and cloying. It does not smell of 'summer' and there's nothing fresh or airy about it, it rather smells like an aerosol/ bug spray. I do not get any bergamot or sandalwood either. I like coconut but the way it is done here is very unpleasant. Very glad I only got a sample; just reading the notes I could easily be fooled to blind buy it. Definitely a no.

whisperology

A lovely scent for a beach vacation. In fact I can't think of a more fitting time to wear this, and cannot fathom wearing it to the office / running errands etc. It's a perfume reserved for leisure.

I do indeed get a sunscreen vibe, and I am one of those people who picks up a banana note from ylang ylang. The bergamot isn't very detectable. This is not in any way fresh. It smells like you're lathered in fancy tanning oil.

There's something really nostalgic about it, it for sure smells like pure Summer.

I don't know if I will ever get through my bottle based on it being a typical Mancera beast mode frag, combined with the fact that I don't get much summer leisure time. :)

MoctezumaC

I had been holding off on purchasing this one. Kept waiting for the price to be under $100.00 at discounters. I finally saw it for under $79.00 for the 120ml and I added it to my cart.

I was highly anticipating receiving this and I like it.... I don't LOVE it.... I don't get any bergamot or sandalwood here. The coconut is definitely present but I feel the vanilla is fighting it too much. And as I wore it throughout the day it kept reminding me of another fragrance I had purchased last year.... VACATION! by Arquiste. The dry down of Holidays is very similar to that of Vacation! with the exception of the banana note. I liked Vacation! but wish it would have lasted longer on me. It would dry down to a skin scent and would have to reapply often.

With Holidays, I am getting the same vibe but less artificial. Been wearing all day and it has lasted on me all day for over 10 hours now. But also, I am an over sprayer (12+ sprays usually, judge me...I don't care!) and the Mancera quality and formula really makes it last and go a long way.

So all in all...I LIKE it....glad I got it for the price I did and if you are an over sprayer like me....GO FOR IT! You can definitely carry this into early Fall or longer depending on where you live. I live in sunny So Cal so I will be using this one up quite a bit. Especially to the pool or to the beach. Fragrance was made to enjoy...so use up your potions and let the world know you have arrived!

Summer in a bottle. Lovely scent which is equally suitable for men, truly unisex. 10/10 for me.

Xela_529

This was an instant love for me. From the opening to the dry-down. Chef’s kiss! This may be my summer signature. It smells very upscale. The sea notes really round it out and make it shine. I don’t think it’s that similar to Coco Vanille. Holidays is much superior. 10/10 for me.

SummerRose

I blind bought Holidays after buying Coco Vanille. I was underwhelmed and a bit disappointed after the initial spray. I let it sit for days, went back and forth testing it and here are my thoughts.

On my skin, the coconut, the aquatic note and the vanilla are dominant. The other notes are in the background supporting the main players. The aquatic note is constant and it makes it a bit unique but I struggle with this note. The coconut note is actually quite beautiful and it is the main star. There is a bit of an airy feel to the fragrance and the vanilla slightly sweetens things up after a few minutes in. For me, I enjoy the drydown the most.

Unlike others, I don't get a sunscreen vibe from this. I have a number of vanilla and coconut fragrances and I think this is different. I don't think it's similar to Coco Vanille and I prefer Coco Vanille.

I think you need to like the 3 dominant notes that I listed above in order to really like this perfume. You also need to be a bit open to trying something different.

I own 7 Mancera perfumes and I would rate Holidays 6.5/10. It lasts over 8 hours on my skin. It projects well, but I think it is a bit overpriced for what it is but still cheaper than some designer fragrances. If you live in cooler weather and you had to choose, I would suggest Coco Vanille

It’s really nice and smells like vacation. But the dry down is very sunscreen-like on me, so not worth the price imo.

I just thoroughly sampled 3 of the big coconut Sun-lotioney players. Beach walk, Tiare Flower and Holidays. I am awaiting Soleil Blanc for review. Of all of these I was most excited to smell Holidays because the reviews are phenomenal.

Holidays is very airy, true chemical suntan lotion, sunscreen vibe BUT not the tropical coconut kind! If you want the real tropical coconut rich thick like scent from OG Coppertone=NO it is not. And if you've smelled Coola coconut sunscreen=NO it is not that either. It's bright and yellow from the Ylang Ylang, the bergamot juice gives it that limeade quality, the coconut quality is that of coconut water. This is an ideal fragrance for the summer, poolside, beachside or summer activities 100% or honestly fresh out the shower vibessss but not what I am looking for. I am still on the look out for a creamy-frothy-lactonic milky tropical-coconut fragrance. The best way I can convey this is by comparing this to a an icy sherbet Ice cream and I want rich-whole churned ice cream not sherbet.

If you are curious Tiare flower is much creamier but very floral with the Jasmine but it is more up my alley, however, it lacks the Coconut and that is my priority, I Love Coconut. Beach Walk was the best out of the 3, It is potent and has a very elevated blend of sillage that it exodes for hoursssss! It is sunny and more penetrated opposed to the airiness of Holidays.

If any of you favor a heavy lactonic coconut fragrance please message me!!! Thx!!! xxxx

This is not a safe blind buy. I wanted to love this fragrance, but there’s one note that ruins it for me. Idk if it’s just me, but the Sandalwood in here smells like red hots/big red gum. I hate those things, so it really bothers me. I actually love cinnamon, but I absolutely can’t stand that type of cinnamon. The coconut note in here is lovely though.

theperfumequeentiktok

This has to be one of Mancera’s most underrated fragrances for sure. The juice is perfection for me personally. I love the notes, I love the huge scent bubble it leaves, I love the beast mode projection & longevity. Very underrated & can get at a steal if you keep an eye on different websites. I love wearing this in the summer. It instantly lifts my mood.

speedracer

Floral beach vibes. Leans more fem/white florals to me. Not a coconut or tropical drink scent, more of a scented beach candle or tropical flowers.

Projection and longevity or both solid, worthy of Mancera's reputation.

AkaNeri

It has similar vibe to Alien Goddess - the coconut, bergamot and some saltiness. In the dry down though - Alien Goddess is more vanillic on me and this is a woody vanilla. Nice perfume, but I already have Alien Goddess.

Vanillastorm40

Could anyone review Holidays vs Coco Vanille? I have a feeling I'm going to love both and I'm going to be making a blind buy. But a review of their differences would be great!

lmnsvgz

Sweet coconut with white flowers and ylang ylang. The sweetness is a bit artifical but it's very crowd-pleasing.

kkk

It starts on me with strong bergamot, witch makes it some really lovely air freshnerish scent... sorry...
after 10 minutes the citrusy part is gone, but its still not pleasant, there is something plastik in it...
my husband just said "its a very nice melon bubblegum scent, ok but... is it OK for you? for smell like that?"
well...no.

Edit: the drydown is pretty creamy and nice but still not my cup of tea

Holidays is without a doubt my favourite tropical/coconut summer fragrance. It has a scent profile that's been done so many times by so many brands that it's no longer unique or even special, but to me, this fragrance manages to stand out among all other due to its' performance and the true tropical vibe it gives.

I seriously feel like I'm transported to a beach whenever I wear this fragrance and so far I've taken it on every summer holiday so I can associate it with all the new memories created.

I love coconut, vanilla and sandalwood in fragrances and in here all three notes are done to perfection. The coconut stays throughout the wear, which I love, and I don't find the tiare flower and ylang-ylang overpowering. The sea note balances all other notes really well.

I find this very similar to Tom Ford Soleil Blanc (which lacks performance), Montale Intense Tiare (straigtforward tiare flower, not as complex), Replica Beach Walk (more salty, lacks performance), to name a few. But they all lack in performance compared to Holidays.

On me it lasts for up to 10 hours on the skin, with good projection for the first 4 hours. I reserve this for late Spring and Summer and it's my go-to scent on summer holidays. I honestly wish I discovered this before Soleil Blanc, it would have saved me some money.

kkaattjjeess

Just received this (through a swap), and it's lovely. The 2 perfumes that it reminds me of (I like Holidays more than both of them): Montale Intense Tiare (that I don't like as it has this powdery suffocating stale thing about it to my nose), and Alien Goddess (which has too much waxy sweetness, like a weird play dough, I tend to find it too juvenile and my taste isn't even very refined). Holidays is strong on the flowers but with a decent amount of coconut, and it's not too artificial or sweet.

Definitely keeping this around for now.

Peachy24

Blind buy, not my cup of tea. If anyone interested in Canada ,please pm.

Holidays is really nice but at the same time, really weird…

Let’s start with resemblances, the opening is quite similar (not the same) to Mukhallat from Mancera and La Capitale from Xerjoff, it even has the plasticky (doll head) accord, softer than in the other two, but still quite noticeable.

Now let’s address the name, Holidays… this perfume smells nothing like any Holiday I can think of… unless somewhere in the world there’s an unknown celebration for vanilla-banana milkshakes poured in a rubber cup.

This perfume is all about creaminess, in all its stages, most likely from the combination of White Musk, Tiare Flower, and Coconut. Speaking about coconut, it’s important to mention that the note here doesn’t smell like the usual coconut sunscreen accord, it’s rather like if a very soft, airy and creamy coconut water aura enveloped the fragrance.

It has three very clear stages, the first one, the opening, it’s soft and delicious from the Vanilla and with a tangy fruity sparkle from the Bergamot… after a few hours the Vanilla remains but the Bergamot fades away and the Tiare takes center stage with a beautiful jasmine scent… and finally, the third stage, in which the white flowers also fade away leaving the stage for the Ylang-Ylang with its banana scent.

Summarizing, this perfume is creamy and vanillic throughout, with a fruity opening, a jasmine middle, and a banana-vanilla milkshake finale.

And I’ll say it again, nothing that resembles any Holiday I can think of.

It is unisex slightly leaning towards women, better suited for cold or mild weather, and preferably for daytime. For me it is too sweet for warm weather, and quite light and airy for nighttime.

Projection is intimate but present from the beginning, longevity is 6+ hours.

Nice fragrance… nothing more.

Blind buy as I needed something for summer.I was a little bit worried after reading the reviews so I have opened it and gave a few sprays….first 15/30 min smelling a little bit strange to me like salty see water with sharp white flower notes. Not terrible but not what I have been hoping for…….but then OMG 😱😍 it opens in to creamy coconut and vanilla with subtle yellow flower notes. All of this balanced by the very very gentle sea note that tones down the sweetness. You can smell the sea note when up very close to your skin but not from a small distance. PERFECT SUMMER FRAGRANCE 🥰 feels like very hot summer day …seating on the hot sand ...edge of the beach in a white summer dress with a tropical flower in your hair …. drinking Malibu with milk and being just touched gently by the breeze of the sea. Is way more interesting and sexy than your typical coconut fragrance. The power and longevity is great. Already grabbed a complement and it was only a test spray…😜 Maybe not a safe buy for a very feminine girl… ( personally I love the unisex fragrances… this one is definitely a more feminine but still has that edge that may not be for everyone)

GwenH

This perfume smells like a hot girl's expensive sunscreen.
And sometimes I want to smell like a hot girl.
But I could do without the sunscreen.

((Update: Confession time. I didn't really give this sample a fair chance at first since I am pretty critical of "sunscreen-y" perfumes... but after I wore it 3 - 4 times I fell in love with the scent. Call it skin chemistry but on me this perfume turned into an intoxicating cloud of creamy floral coconut bliss that lasted an entire day and night. It made me feel like THAT girl. You know the one.))

ShaunMichael

The FIRST40 mins…this Feminine, white flower BOMB…with some
Marine notes is super offensive……. Smells like toilet deodorizer at grandmas house. But after that it actually smells better… but too fem for me. Judge it after the aforementioned time.

jejakakera

I've bought so many decants of this to convince myself to get a FB. The notes listed look promising, but... It smells soft. Unmemorable. It doesn't spark as much joy as I thought it would. This doesn't scream me. The performance is moderate.

Someone commented on here that it smells like a cough syrup, and now I can't unsmell it!

I just removed it from my wishlist.

JHAG Vanilla Vibes has more character. If you're contemplating between this and that, pick Vanilla Vibes. It leans more masculine, if you're fine with that. If not, Holidays is for you.

Isomies

These Montales Manceras are such a strong and long lasting mules wich beat in every aspect many today's fragrances in lasting, projection and sillage! For that reason I've tried this Holidays as a true carrier for other, more sensitive fragrances! One of the best pair to combine is the Holidays with Serge Lutens Fille en aiquilles! Manceras bottom with the suberb vanilla will boost the sharp notes of Lutens Pinewood needles at the most magical way! The balance is unbelievable, and the longevity of the scent is endless! Because the Serge Lutens had to compromise the power of the earlier edition of the Fille en aiquilles, by mixing it with Mancera will give them both a strong new foundings. Foundings wich make this combination to be one of my signature scent wich gives me compliments, tranquility and calming piece of mind!

Sweetnfruity

Not a fan of this one, blind bought it and safe to say it’s not a good idea to blind buy. I can understand why people would say it’s similar to soleil blanc but just the initial spray, after that it has a weird scent, the best way I can describe it is an “older/mature” lady scent. However I sprayed this in my living room and my friend smelt it from
The third storey of the house and loved the scent but when smelt up close she wasn’t a fan either

singlehandedbeauty

Apologies in advance if you love this house, but despite Mancera fragrances being high-performing attention-grabbers, every scent I've sampled so far smells cheap and plastic-y to my nose. (And I really did try quite a few.) Holidays is such a disappointment because I love this scent profile and I thought this would be the Mancera that finally worked for me. Unfortunately, it smells like an inexpensive beach-themed candle you'd buy from Ikea. It starts out as a saccharine-sweet tiare flower that softens into a sour coconut and vanilla. It does improve with wear, but between the sour sweetness and the unshakeable candle vibe, it's borderline repulsive. I sprayed this on a pillow and my entire apartment smells like Holidays, so needless to say, lasting power and silage are outstanding if you can tolerate the scent.

Jizzoe78

Don't know what's the point of all the bad reviews and blah blah blah about dryer sheets lol. Tell you what, my batch of 21K323F is perfect! I know this is a forum but some of these reviews are really silly. I am a man and I love the batch and scent. I blind bought mine last year. A beautiful coconut 🥥 and floral composition is lovely. I've had many compliments and I can pull it off better than some women from what I've heard! Mancera Holidays a 9 out of 10 in all categories 😎👊🔥

Yulia Che

This was a blind buy for this summer. I really wanted a long lasting non-complex coconut or a suntan type fragrance, but couldn't easily find universally loved coconut fragrances (e.g. Bronze Goddess, Terracota, Coconut Fizz, etc.) where I live. I was excited to try a "yellow flowers explosion" too, since I haven't really owned perfumes with prominent yellow floral notes, so I took a plunge.

What can I say? The scent is overpowering and lasts pretty long.
Do I love it? I'm not sure, maybe I'll get used to it eventually.

After half a summer of occasional wear, it was still hard to get used to the cloying sweetness of Holidays. My nose doesn't detect much of coconut, it's predominantly ylang-ylang and tiare flower.

It's a sweet unisex scent, my partner happily wore it as well.

If folks have recommendations for simple long lasting coconuts (think Cheirosa '39 simple), I would appreciate it.

PwnageEngage

Agree 100% with @islandgyal2003.

The opening is extremely synthetic, to the point that it smells like an air freshener. To my nose, this doesn't contain a coconut note, but more of a piña colada accord - you get more sweet pineapple (or vanilla) than any coconut. It smells tropical sure, but the overall quality of this fragrance is on par with a $20 frag you can find at the mall.

Overall I was pretty disappointed, even if the synthetic smell of the fragrance died down after an hour or so on skin, making it wearable. But that first hour...it's just not worth the price.

islandgyal2003

Overall, I am disappointed in this fragrance. I was expecting a beautiful coconut ozonic fragrance. Unfortunately, this is not the case. At first, the fragrance smells very sweet and synthetic. Eventually, the synthetic smell begins to dissipate, and it begins to smell like a blast of a tropical floral cloyingly sweet mess that resembles the smell of dryer sheets. The dry down is a pleasant sweet vanilla. However, the dry down cannot compensate for the rest of the fragrance.

I'm new to Mancera, currently I only own Cedrat Boise, Aoud Lemon Mint and now Holidays for almost a month. I love all 3 of them for what they are but Holidays prickles that interest for something very different in my collection. It starts off quite feminine leaning with the tiare flower in the beginning, although it never leaves you it settles more wearable after 10min has passed and becomes perfectly unisex.

Currently it's still winter here in South Africa but that wasn't going to stop me from wearing this so called "only in summer and when you are at the beach" fragrance. I pick up on the coconut, but it's the smooth vanilla that really makes this a lovely scent and one I currently enjoy wearing in the winter. The performance is though the roof. I wore Ministry of Oud - Greatest today, an Initio Oud for Greatness clone (very good fragrance and performs really well, Initio is still out of my budget for now) and after 1 hour at work I couldn't stop smelling myself, that's when I realized that I was still smelling Mancera Holidays on my jacket from a week back. I can't wait to try this in summer and will update my review, but for now I would like to say that with the lovely vanilla you can definitely rock this in the colder months, but I can see that in summer it might lean towards the per occasion wearing.

Kudos to Mancera, keep them coming

Gypsie67

I bought this about a year ago, and it was love at first sniff. I would even go as far as saying this is definitely one of Mancera’s top 5! I hadn’t reached for it most of last winter, but this summer, I’ve been wearing the hell out of it! I went to visit my mom and sister, and they immediately commented on how great I smelled. They loved it so much, I bought them a bottle! This truly smells like you’re at a fancy resort with beautiful white beaches, and tropical flowers growing all around. You catch whiffs of the salty ocean breeze, mixed with hints of tropical suntan lotion and the tropical flowers here and there. You feel like your in paradise and wish it would never end. The performance of this is insane, and silage is great. A little of this beauty goes a long way. This will always be a part of my collection! I think this is totally blind buy safe, but I have read some reviews that were not very positive, so just to be safe, you can always sample it first! I bet you’ll love it as much as I do. Or not! That’s what makes perfume so awesome though. We all smell things differently!

ConcreteRose

This does not smell like summer to me at all. Maybe on initial spray u get some summer vibes, but this drys down into straight vanilla spicy cookies to me. I sprayed this on some fake flowers I have on my entryway table and every time I pass, I smell a blast of delicious spiced vanilla. It’s not horrible… but it’s horrible for summer in my opinion. Way too sticky sweet. DEFINITELY BEAST MODE! I will try this in the cooler months, I think it will wear beautifully around that time 🍁🍂

buster21

Glad I sampled first. I don’t like my tropical perfumes spicy. I get zero coconut. It’s time for me to give up on Mancera fragrances. I have Intense Tiare by Montale which I really like but this does not smell anything like it.

Padhee83

In my humble subjective opinion this is the worst Mancera fragrance I have smelled. It is cloying and linear. It is not unisex at all. It is a straight feminine scent smelling mainly of white flowers, sun tan lotion and vanilla. The most prominent note for me is the tiare flower.
Longevity is more than 24 hours with nose piercing smell of flowers. Thankfully Mancera has samples to try and I have a sample.
Not for me sorry.

VanillaaManiaa

Chose this in the travel set as I wanted to compare Holidays & Coco Vanille, and because I absolutely must TRY and stop blind buying full bottles of Mancera and Montale…
I already have Intense Tiare, and straight off the bat the only similarities between the two is that Holidays has a soft tiare in the opening that mellows out for the remainder of the fragrance - as if smelled wafting on a tropical breeze, whereas Intense Tiare is true to it’s name - a thick, cloying, linear dose of straight tiare and accompanying tropical florals.
In comparison to Coco Vanille:
Thank God I didn’t buy that one in the full size (it smells exactly like a cheap coconut perfume oil I got in the hippy market in Ibiza in 2007 and is just as oily, quite mellow and mild smelling) Holidays on the other hand is slathering yourself in creamy, coconut scented suntan oil, relaxing on a breezy tropical beach - tiare florals and sea salt in the air - whilst eating a chocolate gelato with caramel sauce.
I have no idea where this chocolate or salted caramel element is arising from but it is absolutely delectable and has me at the checkout buying a full bottle 2 hours later…there goes my ‘no buying any more Mancera/Montale’ streak.
I find all my Mancera’s /Montale’s need to sit and marinate for a while before their full potential is realised (except Red Tobacco lol) and I expect this to be the same - it smells fantastic both in the air and close to the skin, the sandalwood and coconut give such a smooth, creamy dry down - just something so yummy and moreish about this and I can’t wait for it to develop a bit more.
I have never enjoyed salt in fragrances but this has converted me, and very glad I ordered this instead of Olympea Solar for a creamy summer scent (that I will wear all year round regardless anyway) as the latter smells VERY cloying and cheap.
Quite feminine leaning, although I would LOVE to smell this on a mans neck 😍 I wouldn’t say it’s overly sweet, just very creamy with a touch of airiness.
EDIT:
Forgot to add a comparison to TF Soleil Blanc - Holidays is so much more interesting to my nose, much sweeter and much less floral than soleil blanc, performance seems better too.

Marie20707

I have been exploring many of the Mancera fragrances. I've liked many of them, but I am on the fence about this one. This is listed as unisex, but it's quite soft and floral.

The opening has a sunscreen smell with the coconut and the bergamot, which I am not enjoying. I prefer a warmer coconut smell and this is not doing it for me.

I'm glad I didn't buy the full size and this is just the travel size, because this definitely will not be a favorite for me.

It's been over 7 hours, I've showered and I can say that Mancera fragrances have siliage. I still smell that dreadful sunscreen smell.

jokcoy

Very sweet, coconuty, and creamy. This is towards more female frag, but I still wear it just because I love the scent. But other might find it very sweet and can get really cloying if you overspray. I've got some weird but good compliments when I wore it to office. But this is definitely too sweet for office. Maybe better for outdoor situation. I don't think it's safe for blind buy and thank god I only bought the decant. I won't repurchase this but I wil still wear it until my decant empty. If you're female who love sweet fragrance, this is great for you.

Kuty22

Blind buy 🙈
😭😭😭😭
Should've went with Coco Vanille when i had the chance
This smells like Palmers hair products with a hint of Air freshener (Brize marine)..
- Just Nooooo😭😭😭
Damn you YouTubers

Edit: 1 hour in, despite my first impression this is a good powerful scent, but there was no point in calling it unissex, this is indeed a male fragance, beautiful, in a sense that it is interesting, unique but to my nose it is quite masculine

Edit: sprayed it on my bf, he said - without me, disclosing anything - it's too floral and super feminine scent😒

Patousas

In my search for the perfect vacation-type scent I went a bit crazy and purchased Montale Intense Tiare, Mancera Holidays and Mancera Coco Vanille - I will compare all 3 here:
1. Montale intense tiare: strong floral, almost screechy at the beginning, that slowly evolves to a sweet tiare/coconut combo. It also has a strong synthetic quality that reminds me of laundry detergent with a tropical label.
2. Mancera Holidays: the most interesting out of the 3. It is again very synthetic and sweet, but it does offer the vacation vibe I was looking for. I like that it was a salty accord that takes me to the beach.
3. Mancera Coco Vanille: The perfect balance between Vanilla, Coconut, and White tropical florals. This turns very sweet and the vanilla is the prominent note in the drydown. I could see this scent worn all year round because of this, whereas the other two are very tropical - summer scents

suncreensmellsgood

This is my first review on the forums, as I've lurked for long enough I felt it was time to add my input somehow. I guess I'm coming in hot with my take on this scent.

Now I got a decant of this fragrance after watching a few videos and reading some reviews, where the common consensus seems to be this is a great tropical style scent with sum sunscreen type vibes perfect for the high heat, this sounds great to me. As christinky said below, I get absolutely no coconut in this fragrance at all, and I'd like to add not much sunscreen either. Now like my username states, I do like how sunscreen smells I work outdoors, and wear it all day long. However this smells nothing like any sunscreen I've ever worn.

Upon first application, and first smell, I was immediately taken to the middle of the pottery barn candle section. I couldn't understand, I thought surely this fragrance that is supposed to smell tropical-ish or summery to others should smell Wonderfull. So I smell again, again, and let it sit for a few hours, the entire time I literally feel like I'm wearing the scented candle section of a store marketed to American middle-age suburban women. Now if that's your thing, and I understand it may be for some then go for it, cause clearly those candles sell, but if you're like me and can't for the love of god ever understand why scented candles are a thing or even exist then I don't think you'll like this one.

As the dry down progressed I could sort of see how to some people it may come off beachy and a sunscreen like, but it was a predominant scented candle amalgamation for the entire 4 hours I wore it, and I ended up having to wash it off.

I was with a friend while I wore it and I also asked him what he thought, and on first whiff all he said was "I don't like that" and immediately agreed with my description of scented candles.

I don't think this even leans feminine, I personally love "feminine" fragrances, and I don't think this fragrance has a sex at all. I think its literally a scented candle, and scented candles are inanimate objects with no life or soul, just like this fragrance.

I'm sorry if I seem harsh, however there is something about this fragrance that just doesn't make sense to me, I don't know why you would want to wear it, as some other reviewers also mentioned this just not even feeling like a perfume.

Lejaffet

If you’re deciding between Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc or Mancera Holidays, I have both and I must say this one is SO MUCH BETTER and very much worth the money. Longevity, sillage, AND projection are fantastic, especially for a fresh/gourmand. The blend takes some time to settle like 10-15 mins, once you reach that, the dry down smell remains for hours on end. This outperformed my Thierry Mugler Angel, which is quite the feat if you ask me. I sprayed both Soleil and Holidays on opposite wrists and once they dried down Holidays smelled 95% identical as it’s sweeter than Soleil Blanc because of the vanilla note, which def chokes out the other notes for the first few minutes, but blends beautifully afterwards. Also the added wood base notes really help this with longevity. At this point I feel Tom Ford’s sunscreen Soleil Blanc is literally just robbing people because of its piss poor longevity and projection, it’s literally a 275-360$ skin scent. This smells JUST like it and costs damn near FRACTION of the price. It’s the price that Soleil should be. Also tip if you REALLY want this to smell just like Soleil Blanc, buy the fragrance body oil instead. It has gold pearl in it and has the Soleil Blanc smell mixed in. Spray that on and then Mancera and it’s literally… *chefs kiss. Anyways I will be buying some more Mancera’s as I was thoroughly surprised.

Cacique2022

When i first sprayed this i thought oh no! What is that intense jasmine smell??? It was the ylang ylang and it almost got me to sell this thing but that note doest last long. This dries down to a nice sunscreen vanilla with an oceanic kick. I really like this!!!

christinky

I wish I had paid attention to reviews that said this reminds them of Olympea, because this reminds me of Olympea and I can't stand that fragrance. I don't get much vanilla with this, though some people do. I just get overwhelming coconut, sunscreen- lots of really bad sunscreen smell, and Olympea, and I feel like I smell like a overheated women's changing room at a Victoria's Secret store and I really, really don't want to smell that cheap and tarty. It's nauseating. Be careful. I enjoy quite a few from Mancera/Montale, but this is a disappointment.

smokeorfire

Reminds me of a cheapish clone of Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc. A mix between Eau de and the EDP but dialed up to 10. It has that sunscreen vibe but mixed with marine notes like you just jumped in the ocean and freshly slathered on the sunscreen. It has that typical Mancera syntheticness but that's how they manage to boost performance both in projection and longevity. However, I find it too cloying. TF Soleil Blanc is far more restrained and therein lies the charm. It reminds you of an elegant sunscreen but also warm skin. There's a softness and smoothness to it. More appropriate for office wear.

In Holiday, you have it amped up to where it just smells like a wet bathing suit with sunscreen dumped on it. If you like potent in your face frags then you will enjoy this.

**In the air this is much more pleasant and the synthetic vibes are subdued. I prefer it on others as up close it is too harsh. In the air it evokes a sense of sitting on the beach, the waves crashing on the shore, with a pina colada in hand. Still feels a bit inappropriate for office wear but outside of that it is pretty nice. **

wizkid04

Dry down is okay, but the opening smell is a mess, very synthetic and not smooth at all.

jassca99

A beautiful sunscreen fragrance, filled with tropical coconut and yellow floral, creamy sandalwood and subtle vanilla, and very salty skin. I never hear anyone mention how salty this is, or maybe I’m sensitive to salt. So imagine you wore coconut sunscreen and spent hours swimming in the ocean. After, the scent of your body is what Holidays is. Lovely! I can only see this being worn on holidays/tropical vacay. Not necessary in my collection as I don’t actually want to wear salty sunscreen scents. Mancera Coco Vanille is preferred and different as it’s a sweet fleshy coconut vanilla fragrance.

legitaurora

Coconut/vanilla scent similar to Vanilla Vibes and Beach Wall with a unique kick.

strongerwithglue

One of the few coconut scents I've tried that I can tolerate, the heavy dose of sweet vanilla rounds out those rough edges that coconut can have. It's as sweet as it can get without being cloying in the summer heat. The salty aquatic accord is not as forward as it is in Beach Walk, but it is there. Quite nice, quite linear, potent, but not annoyingly so. Perfect for a woman at the beach, you'll just want to bury your nose into her neck.

wondervalley666

Initially I wasn't thrilled with this blind buy. I'm a big coconut/tropical/summer frag lover as I live in a warm climate and I'd been on the fence about blind buying Mancera's Coco Vanille for awhile. I blind buy a lot because I need to see how a fragrance works on my clean skin in my home and California micro climate, and I don't find I'm able to properly judge a frag in the store. I pulled the trigger on Holidays instead, as I don't really "smell" much coconut in most fragrances I try, and vanilla doesn't wow me or suit me enough to buy vanilla frags unless they have a little something extra special to them. I previously bought Montale's Intense Tiare and was not pleased - super strong, overly sugary, bright screechy almost synthetic feeling tiare with no other major recognizable notes. When my bottle of Holidays was delivered, the shaking/shipment of the bottle messed with the fragrance and all I got was sickeningly sweet heavy vanilla with a touch of screechy tiare - overall pretty bad, I almost immediately listed it for resale. However, a few days later I rubbed some tiare monoi oil on my skin and decided to spray some Holidays on myself as well to amplify the scent. The bottle must have settled properly, because now to me Holidays smells almost exactly like a tiare monoi oil (which is a traditional coconut oil mixed with real gardenia and tiare flowers which gives it a lovely tropical vibe) except Holidays is a touch stronger and has a nice gentle touch of vanilla, it isn't the vanilla bomb I initially sprayed. If you're unable to find a reasonably priced sample of this fragrance, you can pick up a bottle of $10-15 Tiki Tahiti Tiare Monoi Coconut Oil. Rub that on yourself and imagine it a bit stronger, with a spritz of vanilla layered. That's what Holidays smells like.

Overall I like this perfume. It isn't my favorite, it isn't unique or groundbreaking, but it performs pretty well, much better than a lot of sad 2hr fragrances I've parted ways with. It makes me think of eating vanilla bean ice cream or whipped cream in a Hawaiian garden. Tropical, soft, sweet and comfortable, while being pretty. Not a super unique niche fragrance, not a cheap body spray. Warm and cozy, like wrapping a comfy blanket around yourself, but for summer, when it's too hot for a blanket. If you dislike tiare I would not recommend this as it is the dominant floral. If you hate vanilla, I wouldn't recommend this either as even though it's subtle, the vanilla is dominant enough to notice it. I do not notice most of the other notes. I'm sure they are there, I can somewhat "sense" them, but I can't exactly say I "smell" them. I'm not sure I'm getting the same powerhouse performance other reviewers mentioned where they were able to still smell it after swimming, but it does perform for a good 5-6 hrs, then it dries down and lasts a few more hours as a subtle skin scent. As for now, I think this is my fav summer tiare scent. I prefer tuberose but it doesn't last on my skin very long.

As I said, I wear a lot of summery scents and as far as the "reminds me of" suggestions here:

Montale Intense Tiare - very close in fragrance, but it's done better/more expensive/less obnoxious here in Holidays.
Beach Walk - Maybe one note... but nope, not really.
Soleil Blanc - no, not at all, not even close
Olympea - not even a little no resemblance whatsoever
Alien Goddess - Maybe a note or two in common, but VERY different.
Tiki Tahiti Tiare Gardenia EDP - yes, very close, but Holidays is the proper perfume while Tiki Tahiti is more of a soft body spray that lacks some of the notes of Holidays.

A great blend in my opinion! I blind-bought this in search for a coconut that's not too cloying and would hence work in the summer heat. I think this is a great find for that description. The coconut is noticeable for sure but there are balancing elements like bergamot, musk and the salty sea note that make this an interesting and wearable coconut for adult taste.

Edit (11/2023): In the past 1.5 years or so, I never reach for this... Even in the summer months. Maybe it's just that I live in a big city and in a cool climate. I would like to wear this if I was literally on a white sand beach holiday, but at home this is just too escapist for me...Will probably get rid of my bottle for that reason. It is also SO strong, geez. I sprayed it on myself last summer before wearing my rain coat and heading out to summer rain. The raincoat smelled like this for months, seriously. In a nutshell this just doesn't go with my environment at all and I guess nowadays I also rather wear something aromatic or dry in the summer.

Nusch

I got this as a sample and I loved it so much... Couldn't stop smelling myself. So I bought the full bottle. And I just can't stand it. It is so strong, chemical, in your face and unfortunately stays like that for hours on end. So definitely a fail for me.

SilhouettesandSillage

This one opens up with a strong, high-quality suntan lotion scent. It closely resembles the scent of coconut oil sheen hair sprays. After the next couple hours that transitions to a scent that anyone would immediately associate with a day on the beach, coconut, a heavy dose of vanilla, and the white and yellow floral notes backing up that sweet, tropical, summertime scent. This is suited perfectly for a day on the water, at the beach, or anywhere out on vacation in general. My only problem with this fragrance is there is little versatility. I don't really see myself wearing this outside of really hot days, adjacent to a body of water.

CharleyBravo

I have had this fragrance for a while. When I first received my bottle, I was so disappointed. This is a coconut water, raw coconut milk fragrance, and it isn’t very sweet, at first, at all. It is so light. The florals are also very light. It just doesn’t smell like much of anything. This spring/summer (I live in Florida), this fragrance has stolen my heart. I just decided to wear it to the beach one day. I didn’t think it would matter. Let me tell you.. it lasted all day. I went swimming, I was out in the sun, and it just got sweeter and the coconut, tiare flower and ylang ylang really started to bloom. I honestly think it is an amazing summer scent. It is weird at first, I think because it is an oily perfume. It has a high shine when I spray it on my skin. Not having that first burst of alcohol in, makes this a slow bloomer, and it takes the right conditions to realize it’s beauty. If you are taking a beach vacation or going on a cruise or anywhere that you will just be out enjoying the heat, take this with you! You will love it.

Really wanted to love this perfume. Blind bought after reading the reviews here as despite I am man I love scent of coconut and would love to have some sweetish coconutty perfume for the summer as a replacement for my Kenzo Homme Night. Sadly, this just doesn´t smell nice to my nose. Its not sweet at all and the coconut inside this is very different to what I have imagined, not very noticeable in my opinion. There is very strong oily/buttery feeling about the scent and in my opinion it just doesn´t smell like perfume at all. Vanilla is more prominent in the drydown but again not vanilla which I would like but more "old lady" style vanilla. I usually like unisex fragrances and I am really not "macho type" man however with this perfume I really cannot imagine wearing it. It is not unisex, it is purely feminine due to the vanilla. Truth is that it really smells like sunscreen milk, I just imagined bit more "perfumey" smell. It smells clean though and agree that it is very potent and good quality.

kvaja

I have a new 120 ml bottle that I'd like to swap. I't beautiful but too much ylang ylang for my liking. Feel free to message me if you're interested.

Gems84

Mancera are fast becoming one of my favourite fragrance houses. I blind bought this after being a huge fan of Royal Vanilla & Coco Vanille and this did not disappoint! It was exactly the summer scent I was after for the warmer days and when on vacation. Imagine Tom Ford Soleil Blanc but so much better. I loved it at first spray and the dry down is just beautiful. It has great performance and sillage and the quality of the performance is exactly as you would expect from Mancera. Love this and would recommend if you are looking for a true Holiday vibe scent.

JHart

So good! I love the dry down. I layer this with Intense Tiaré. Love it!

Genvicii_

Smells very good similar to mm replicas beach walk but one thing I can’t get pass by is it reminding me of hair spray. Good thing I bought a sample. I don’t think I’ll buy a full size bottle. Another thing the longevity on it is crazyyy. Last 8+ hrs on my skin and even longer on my clothes

A Fragrant Life

Someone below described this as a mix of a vanilla cake and a piña colada and they couldn’t be more right. This is very smooth-smelling on my skin. It’s like terracotta with the edges blurred out and I enjoyed it. If you’re a fan of Terracotta and Ylang in Gold, you’ll enjoy this. It would be a very safe blind buy for me (although I did sample it), but don’t use me as the yardstick because I love anything with Ylang or Tiaré (or both, in this case!).

The performance was pretty good on me from the sample. I got around 7 hours on skin and it projected with lovely wafts for at least the first 2-3 hours. On skin alone and in moderate heat, that’s pretty good.

Natlon

I really like Holidays. In my opinion it is a coconut, sun tan lotion and vanilla bomb. It is like very hot holidays in the bottle. I can’t detect any bergamot, sandalwood or musk. There is a slight aquatic/marine note in there. I also don’t think it is synthetic, like some reviewers mentioned. I like coconut, but to me sometimes it can be a bit sickening so I layered Holidays with Versace Versense a few times and I think it worked well.
It lasts forever on me and I think the sillage is quite decent as well. I wouldn’t say it is a safe blind buy. It can be unisex but I think it is more feminine.

olga.stratienko

The drydown of Holidays reminds me a lot of Haiku by Mirko Buffini. Really really good. I blind bought coco vanille, they are very comparable in the beginning, but coco vanille is more mature than Holidays. In the drydown they’re totally go in different directions. In the drydown Holidays is pretty much 98% as Haiku.

I love it!

latttiful

I'm allergic to something in this fragrance. I itch every time I spray on my skin. So clothes only scent for me.
It smells really nice, very summer-y sun tan lotion, beachy vibe.

Bopha85

This frangance is pleasantly simple but hard to describe. This is a wonderful all year round fragrance. Picture this, it's as though I'm sitting at the beach and a waiter had just walked past with a pina colada and vanilla cake on a tray. It's blended perfectly that you really can't pin point any particular notes BUT it does smell synthetic. Something that had always been a challenge for me when it comes to Mancera fragrances.

est2316

I really had high hopes for this fragrance after reading so many reviews... Please don't blindly this guys. It smells so synthetic and literally gave me a headache after my 2 trial sprays. I love gourmands but this one is way too sweet on me. I only smell the synthetic coconut and vanilla. Selling my 2oz bottle if you'd like it. DM me on ig: sorelle_tchebs

lysithea

I had high hopes for this since it has sea notes in it. Thought it would be a sweet coconut with some sea breeze vibe and florals. On my skin it is too sweet and I don't get any bergamot or sea notes. Wish it was fresher and less sweet. It also feels sticky and waxy on me.

*loves_shoes*

I bought both this and Coco Vanille based on reviews saying they are so different and you could own both.
This is true, for the opening, and the first hour or so. But not for the dry down.
At first Holidays feels lighter and more aquatic, a bit salty, a bit younger feeling. And the synthetic coconut smell with vanilla.
If you don’t like salty aquatics, go for Coco Vanille instead - it’s is straight up synthetic coconut and vanilla with flowers in the background.
If you were on holiday you’d wear Holidays by the beach, and Coco Vanille on the night. And nobody would notice you’d changed your perfume.
They both dry down to a sweet, vanilla with a splash of the synthetic coconut. If I had to choose I’d say Holidays smells fresher and less synthetic in the dry down. But the coconut and vanilla they use are clearly the same in each and these dominate.
For my purposes I could have only bought one. They both smell of coconut and vanilla, there are slight differences and you could definitely tell which one you’d sprayed without comparing them directly. But for the overall vibe they give and the lasting scent on the skin, one would do, as they’d both work for the situation I’d want to use them in.

Edit: 4 hours after spraying and Holidays is lighter and fresher, and a cool coconut vanilla. In contrast Coco Vanille is warmer and a bit heavier.
So they are different after all.

floszra

I though I'd like this, but I don't. The salty "sea notes" are ruining the whole composition, making it masculine and it withdraws the delicious and gourmand feeling of the coconut and vanilla. At least it lives up to its name, because it smell like a towel on the beach after using it on your body which was wet from the seawater and had traces of sunscreen on it.
I wouldn't wear this, I prefer it on my boyfriend.

*loves_shoes*

Tropical coconut, then yellow flowers, then the light aquatic, then a peek of vanilla and then lingering light coconut aquatic.
Like a salty coconut water and vanilla juice drink that’s been spiked with a teeny bit of salt.
Very light, very feminine on my skin.

marcio.moniz

Definitely for women, not my type. It has that candle smell that I don't like, maybe it's the coconut note.

Vlada_Pechenaya

One of the most mouth-watering vanillas you can find!
I am very happy with this in my collection.

I don't feel any flowers, just vanilla with some gourmand salty notes. Very sexy for autumn-winter evenings. You will smell mouth-wateringly delicious!

XLNScents

I actually hated coconut fragrances because of JPG Le Beau(the coconut in JPG was way too strong and nauseating), I have owned TF Soleil Blanc which was taken by my gf(which I liked but it lacked longevity on my skin, had to reapply when I had it)

Mancera Holidays opens with a touch of bergamot on my skin and and a slightly synthetic coconut(which becomes beautiful in the dry down), with the marine note waiting in the background, then the fragrance takes a floral twist with the florals coming to the fore. Still the coconut will shows its head(this is now about 30-40 minutes of wear).

The coconut stays detectable throughout the life of the fragrance with the sandalwood always trying to show its presence in the later stages of wear. I don't detect any white musk in the fragrance.

I get a good solid 14+ hours on my skin and over 24hrs on clothes, with ting of it as a skin scent the next day. The fragrance is quite nice, not really wow for me, but I will enjoy it every time I wear it. The projection and sillage is huge as well. It is a wonderful frag and will be my staple coconut frag for the summer.

I love it when I'm wearing it. But it isn't my first choice. If you know what I mean.

(just a word of advice if you own any Mancera frag and it lacks performance put it away for a month or two, thank me later).

andrianna.fragrance

Forgot to mention this in the previous review below me (which was my first review on this perfume) the flowers in this fragrance are tropical yellow/white florals you smell on an island, not the generic white florals you smell in oriental fragrance's, smells exotic and expensive, and the sweetness in this isn't artificial but the sweetness from flowers with natural vanilla and creamy candle coconut!! (def wait 10 mins to let the fragrance settle to its true beauty)

andrianna.fragrance

SYNTHETIC OPENING!! After 10 mins this smells of having a coconut candle next to you (waxy kinda coconut) with white and yellow florals in your hand and vanilla sticks in the other alongside the cooling breeze. (Not that sweet more floral and natural vanilla) Not as potent as other mancera perfumes like others have said but that is a good thing!! Because this is a summer targeted fragrance, if this was slightly just a taaad but more poyent you will choke the people around you because she is STRONGGG.

On first spray was very disappointed, synthetic mess with alcohol and flowers. Made coffee smelt my wrist again and it was the MOST beautiful classy expensive smelling perfume everrrr. The lotion bit people tell you about I think makes this fragrance smell better because it gives off "I take care of myself and F*ck yea im a moisturized good smelling expensive classy ass b*tch". Its a good typa lotion smell not the cheap kind.

Leans more femine but hell IF A MAN WORE THIS id want to lean in closer, would smell gorgeousss and comforting and delicious on a man.

A European kinda vibe with this, not a love at first sniff BUT an addiction within minutes

Reccomend for spring and summer. ALSOOOOO for a NICHE fragrance?? THIS IS AN AMAZING price, this is why I loveeee mancera and montale, Niche houses that are better/the same level as other niche fragrances for half the price if not even cheaper

Nolo Sath

I get a lot of coconut in the opening, then hints of sea notes and vanilla. The dry down is my favourite part: warm, cosy vanilla and sandalwood. This is a summer fragrance but the dry down would be comforting in cold weather.

thecorb

This is very aptly named, not in a Christmas holidays sense but a summer holiday. Luxury sun cream is how I'd best describe it, definitely leaning more to the feminine side. I can imagine smelling it on a glamorous sarong-adorned lady eating lunch at a beachside cafe. Fresh, coconuty and laconic. Quite nice but personally I would never wear it.

BoutiqueLove

No….
I blind bought this as I have no coconut perfumes and heard many positive reviews. Reviews are so inaccurate at times..always sample first people!
At first spray it was intriguing and strong but unfortunately the dry down is cheap, synthetic and nauseatingly round …like a low end shea butter coconut candle or shower gel from the dollar store. Very very generic. This smells of cheap sweet coconut with a tinge of salt (salt/cypress.. think of Kenzo world with a bucket of gooey coconut). Sorry but do not like it and after wearing it whole day I am ready to return. It is an oily perfume and its long lasting… 8/10… ( bar for nuclear strength is velvet vanilla by mancera and oud amazing by montale)… disappointing. Perhaps a shot of citrus or aldehyde would have elevated this.

diandra96

definitely smell the woody and vanilla. smells cozy, reminds me of candle

Vickalicious

I love a beach holiday, but this is a holiday I don’t want to go on🤣🤣 okay, this isn’t that bad, but I’m not a fan. This is super synthetic, and to me the notes don’t flow. It’s like listening to a piano that’s out of tune. It’s quite marine, and I don’t get calone per se, but whatever it is I’m not a big fan of. I realize that coconut can be a little hard to do in fragrance, and in this it’s very buttery. I get florals as well, but not tropical tiare, just generic florals. Again, this is not terrible, but I’m not a fan. As far as performance, the lasting power on this is great.

ikea pencil

Eating the strongest vanilla candy inside of a run-down resort hotel next to the window, smelling the armoas from the nearby beach and tropics.

I started my frag journey a few months ago and I really wanted a staple coconut frag. While searching this came on my radar and I gave it as shot! It didn't hit the mark at all -- mainly because 1) There's an animalic dirty note. I can't tell if it's from the tiare or the vanilla but it's awful and comes off as public space grime. 2) The coconut here isn't as rich as I'd like. It's fairly prominent but it has no depth what-so-ever. 3) The vanilla here is so incredibly strong (eg. Versace Eros) which sadly here doesn't fit. It chokes all the other nice notes here which makes it impossible to enjoy. It's a shame as the backing for this frag is pretty good! The sea notes and ylang ylang prop up everything here quite well.

As of writing this I think either TF's Soleil Blac or Creed's VIL is my definitive coconut scent so if you're in the same boat as I am, I'd try those instead (I still have some other coconut frags to try though!). I'd only go for this if you enjoy super vanillic frags.

AliBella

This is my 17 year old son's signature scent for 2021. He just loves it and suits it. On his skin, it lasts for ages and doesn't smell of perfume but smells of holidays which is just as well since we couldn't go anywhere this summer.
Longevity is something else. I often ask him if he resprayed but he says no.
It's a sweet and tropical scent which could be cloying to some.
To me it smells sweet and coconutty, to him it smells clean and fresh!! Points of views hey?!!!!!

ladieqah

This is an AMAZING perfume. spray on my neck and hair then it projects like a nuclear of summer hot beach. Lasts long on me too. ❤️

Joseebus

She is SWEET and she is POWERFUL. She's also cloyingly synthetic, which is unfortunate. High fructose corn syrup Hawaiian Punch in fragrance form. This one's a scrubber for me.

forêt

I am really digging this. There is a notion I get of overripe melon. I sense the coconut and I definitely perceive the salty note, which I love. I disliked this perfume at first but out of that grew a great love. It’s a bit icky in the way overripe fruits can be, but as I said, now I love it; even though it hurts my neck-skin. I understand it also hurts the neck-skin of Michella from Curly Fragrance! So there must be something strange in it.. I have been experimenting with my back-skin and my décolletage-skin 😂 and I think I have found my way to wear it because I don’t want to stop! Now that is determination I’d say..
And please excuse my hyphen-style. I have recently learned that when you write thirty-five, that hyphen makes it a fact, a noun. Otherwise it doesn’t mean anything, and in fact the illuminati-folk know this very well and fill their contracts with fraudulent grammar. Russell-Jay: Gould knows all about this. I know this isn’t fragrance-talk 🤣

AnnaElli

Some people compare this to Montale Intense Tiare and I get the comparison, but I like the Holidays better. The floral notes (especially the tiare) with the creamy coconut with a nice background of vanilla are balanced better imho. I do not get much of a suntan lotion vibe, to me it is more of a tropical summer day kind of scent. Lovely sillage, pretty long lasting. Full bottle worth.

curt42

French Quarter girlfriend you tell no one about. There is nothing, zero, masculine about this fragrance. This is all lip gloss and late nights. Look at the notes, for godsake! Summer? There'd better be a damn cool breeze. Sweet and lasts forever. Gotta give it to Mancera and Pierre for coming up with this one, but don't expect this to be a hot day, beachy fragrance.

anthonycball

Coconut - Vanilla - Slightly Floral. A luxury suntan lotion. A pina colada, minus the rum. It’s exactly as advertised.

I’ve been on a long journey trying to find my ultimate Summer, tropical vacation, suntan lotion fragrance. I’ve found it.

I live in a climate where it’s extremely hot for 8 months out of the year. Most summer fragrances burn right off me rather quickly in this high heat. Not Mancera Holidays. It sticks with me for a good 12 hours. I have yet to find another similar summer fragrance that can do the same.

TIP: While amazing on it’s own, there is also so much potential here for layering options. Using 1-2 sprays of Holidays as a coco-vanilla base; then adding a few additional sprays of something smoky, spicy or boozy blends together beautifully... Creating an even deeper, more rich olfactory experience. Ex. Holidays w/ Aventus or CDNIM for a smoky, tropical, pineapple and coconut.

I love this fragrance, and am so glad I found it. If you’re on the hunt for your tropical, luxury suntan lotion, Summer vacation in a bottle like I was; look no further than Mancera Holidays. Highly recommended.

Rating: 8.5/10

hoppie66

I went for a nice walk in the park today. Had on Marshmallow St. Tropez self tanner and Mancera Holidays. There was a couple walking behind me a few feet. No food establishments anywhere near us. Husband: I smell waffles and ice cream. Wife: Mmmmm, I do too. Me: 🤣🤣🤣

ms.moniczka

I just received sample and for me it smells like Tahitian Holiday Avon. On the beginning you can smell ylang-ylang and tiare flower along with that annoying cheap synthetic coconut...and that coconut last and last and it's not nice. Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Sun has nice coconut that smell like coconut flakes. This one is no no. I liked it with first sniff but it reminded me to much about cheap Avon fragrance.
I have to add that I am allergic to something in this fragrance as it burned my neck 😏

maddy.cucu

To me smells like sweet monoi oil!
Amazing, will be wearing to the beach.

Sarinaamani

This is so synthetic smelling, smells like a cheap coconut pineapple candle that would be called like tropical island or something. Its almost headache inducing with how plasticky it smells. Bought blindly so that's my fault after hearing rave reviews but this is not a pleasant scent at all. I agree with the Bath and Body Works comparison as it smells very very cheap and artificial. I like artificial smell most of the time but not in this one. Do not blind buy!

joyceisblasian

I don't know how I feel about this one. I swear I was looking forward to this one but all I get is this artificial air freshener type scent. it doesn't smell tropical at all to me.

the "sea notes" in here make it unisex but leaning towards masculine in my opinion. I would prefer a man to wear this instead of me.

D c227

SOMEWHAT unisex

Bleu-collar worker

TOTALLY unisex.

Booman

NOT unisex.

4AMKING

Mancera Holidays..if you have smelled Coconut Nanas, imagine a more waxy version of that fragrance..its a fun sexy bubblegumish scent..perfectly unisex

Beanie1991

For some reason after wearing this for a while I smell bubblegum!

YunnaRaskala

Smells like a synthetic glade plugin air freshener....Never-Mind it!

SophieVictoria93

A perfume reviewer online compared this to a piña colada and I must say I agree.

This is a lovely summery fragrance to try if you are someone who struggles to like summer fragrances. The vanilla helps give the coconut note a creaminess that will appeal to Winter gourmand lovers.

Although I see this scent appealing more to women, I think a man could also get away with this fragrance. Definitely get a sunscreen/moisturiser vibe, which may put people off considering this is a higher priced perfume, however it is still a lovely offering that adds something different to my collection of mainly orientals/gourmands.

Projection could be better, however I do think that Summer fragrances benefit from having less sillage to prevent them getting too cloying in the heat. If you like creamy, sunscreeny scents with hints of coconut then you’ll enjoy this perfume.

katrinawhitney

Something about the coconut in this is similar to the coconut bath and body works uses, which feels like a shame since mancera is a “niche” house. However, I guess the upside to that is if you enjoy that coconut, at least this one will last you a lot longer that the BBW one. As for the Intense Tiare comparison, I prefer that one over this.

ejsmd11.1

Scent is good, but longevity is absolutely nuclear. I would prefer this in a softer version that didn't last as long. Honestly it become cloying after a while.

bovogie

I’m so in love with this one, seriously! It’s almost like a well blended mixture of Coco Vanille & Wild Python (white bubblegum florals & a beachy coconut vanilla) but better! I really can’t give it enough praise. I wish that I bought two bottles because I know I will be blowing through this fragrance this summer. It’s just that good!

My sister who states she doesn’t like white florals or beach scents kept complimenting me on this one. She said it smelled “sweet & fresh”, lol.

AnaIli35

The marine opening is admittedly my least favorite part of this fragrance. It’s not awful, just not as enjoyable but thankfully it settles down and the dry down is a pleasant vanilla on me. I don’t find it as long lasting as other Mancera scents and the projection is comparatively weak. Will happily use up but not a repurchase for me.

MademoiselleMaya

It's nearly identical to Coco Vanille by the same brand. Softer by a shade, and shares the same juicy, coconut-y, airy vibe.

ssss4ssss

This is a painful review to write, because I have been eyeing this perfume for a long time and finally bit the bullet and blind bought it. It's my first "niche" purchase. I really wanted to like it, given Mancera's great reputation, but unfortunately, I don't love it for me.

I was on the hunt for the perfect summer/tropical vacation scent that would project and last, and on paper, this fits the bill. However on my skin it smells heavy, sweet but with a bitter note. It is not uplifting or refreshing, it is very much sun tan lotion vibes but even heavier. I can't smell the bergamont or sea notes, and it honestly smells like cheap lotion on me. The most surprising part is that it doesn't project and after a few hours i cannot smell it at all. I'm honestly surprised because on paper this smells AMAZING.

My search for the perfect beachy but elegant/fresh (without citrus) perfume continues! I will give this one a few more chances, and update.

Update: I dislike it even more now. Something smells of plastic, or rotten. I can't stand it on me, had to wash it off.

Beanie1991

I get a masculine tobacco-ish/vanilla dry down, but honestly you get each note in the order listed. When I wear it I picture myself at a beach in a tourist town surrounded by sweet food shops, and warm bodies slathered in tanning lotion in the heat on a beach. It smells happy and warm and SEXY!

pvelaz78

How anyone get a tobacco-ish, masculine scent in the skin dry down?

dglightblue

Summer evening, skin test
The sillage is wonderful, like creamy wet yellow fruits, then theres some gental aromatic layer, but then... a tobacco feeling especially when smelled up close, its kinda synthetic.
It will be reaction between notes causing that.

The accords look on point though.
Coconut will be the wet andcreamy then jasmine, its slightly sweet too, then yeah marine aromatics under that, the a smidge of the dry tobacco right at the base.

Sillage is right up my street, close sniff so-so. Ill give it some more time

Marcosrodprofum

This fragance has a coconut reminiscent of the Creed virgin island, but it's more creamy, it's like you're taking a coconut-based sunscreen and ironing it. Exactly, I feel like I'm in front of the sea wearing sunscreen. It opens with the strong coconut plus the shy bergamot in the background and the salty snack of sea notes.

After a while the ylang ylang mixed with the vanilla bean (very soft) and the tiare gives the tone of the fruity floral scent, the coconut remains as the main component but the perfume is sweet but light, giving a vibe that you're taking a coconut shake in front of the sea.

For me it is a delicious perfume that refers to vacation, beach, sea ....

Projection is not the best (1 metro + -): 6/10
Fixation (9 hours): 6/10
Aroma: 8/10
Versatility: 5/10 (perfume that I would only use on the beach, summer day and night)
Unisex

Final grade: 6/10.

Inésanja

Whenever I smell this fragrance I'm instantly transported back to that time I visited Fiji.
It smells just like the South Pacific Islands.
I don't think this smells anything like Montale Intense Tiare, or Tom Ford Soleil Blanc.
This is so much nicer than the both of those.
It smells like your in the tropics.
Huge love.

Josie_xo

Alright hear me out. The first thing I think of when I smelt this wasn’t sun tan lotion (I’ve never used it so idk what it means like) but hair pomade. Think blue magic or Dax lol. I know this description probs won’t help some but it’s not a bad scent. Very floral fresh vanillary smell pleasant to wear. Not blown away by it though!

dessybg

Прекрасен ..... и много подобен на Olympia

Tessa03

Just bling bought this and it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! Gorgeous smell, it totally reminds me of "bain de soleil" tanning cream from the 80's (in those dark brown & cream colored bottles). Some don't get coconut from this but I do. I can see wearing this anytime of year but I'm sure it would be even better in the summer (I wore it yesterday and it's quite cold where I live and it was still very enjoyable). I put this on at 3pm and I could still it at 6am the next day! Needless to say this is my longest lasting perfume EVER! I am now trying to decide which Mancera to add to my collection next.
PS - for those who say this smells like Montale's Intense Tiare - I could not disagree more. Totally different to my nose.

Crancene

Blind bought this based on the reviews here and the notes listed above.

I was looking for a summer scent that reminded me of the beach, but as it arrived today, it had to be tested. And wow have I found a summer scent! This is absolutely beautiful.

For me, it smells just like you've applied sun tan lotion, then laid in the sun for an hour or so, and after wading into the sea to cool yourself down, your feet pick up the golden sand on your way back to your sun lounger, which then bakes in the sun.

KindnessBoo

I love my bottle but for anyone looking for a coconut bomb, this isn’t it.

chiragh

This reminds me of passing through a bakery / cafe on cold winter morning .

Vanilla with hint of Lemon is just amazing .

Thankfully it's not potent and doesn't choke you.

Lovely !

ivadim

Предимно ванилия като от кремче, сладкиш или сладолед. Очаквах доста по-различен аромат, харесва ми, но не бих купила цялата бутилка

arapp95

I wanted to love this one so badly but I don't think it's for me. I love beachy type scents and this one is delicious. But it is SWEET. My skin pulls out the sugary coconut in this one a LOT. When I go for a beach scents I like them to be a little fresh and this one on my skin just isn't. I get a lot of fruits as well which is also not my fav. I was wearing this and my friend commented that I smelled like chewing gum and she wasn't totally wrong. This just turns candy sweet on my skin and although it smells yummy it just isn't my vibe when it comes to fragrance. I might wear it a few more times to see if I can convince myself to like it so tbd.

As far as projection and performance though, this one is amazing. It lasts easily all day even in heat and projects so that others can smell it easily.

Obsessed3

Soleil Blanc TF with Honour Amouage😍 don’t throw with stones at me but this is what I smell, its very very longlasting and the projection is huge. You have the coconut, tiare, hints of vanilla and a bit harsh from time to time aquatic note. I don’t think that someone can dislike this, I got only compliments and its not as sweet as Coco Vanille, and guess what...it was a blind buy

ivaylops

Awesome and very long lasting fragrance that makes me smile every time I smell it, unfortunately too feminine for me to wear. I do have and use several of the feminine leaning unisex offerings from Mancera even a couple that are marketed specifically to women, but Holidays I can't pull off.
Still, love to smell it on a woman.

Update
Bit the bullet and bought me a bottle. Will wear it on summer vacations, liked it too much to pass on it. Yolo I guess... 😂

Update 2
Sold the bottle, the opening is to die for but the drydown goes way too musky on my skin.

Tropical and beachy? Yes. But...it’s not strictly a sunscreen scent like Bobbi Brown Beach or Bond 9 Fire Island.
This is sweet. Toasted coconut, lots of vanilla, tiare is there but soft. Above the heavy, syrupy aroma drifts a cooling salt breeze. It would be much much too sweet (and boring) for me without the ozonic salt notes. This is definitely a gourmand so if you are looking for something that smells like a tropical tanning product, this might not be your jam. Intense Tiare by Montale would be one to try in that case as that is more floral and less sugary sweet. I find myself wishing the floral notes were more present but I guess I have other fragrances that fit the bill.
Personally, I enjoy this for casual summer wear but I can also see it being comforting in the winter.

akarmi

Sweet flowery, creamy suntan lotion like.
I don't get the coconut.
Reminds me of Lolita Lempicka Coral flower but less woody and powdery.

I decided my fourth Mancera would be Holidays because I need this island aromatherapy, and it's that time of year again when I want something with coconuts, ylang ylang, tiare, etc. All those intoxicating notes that take you away no matter where you are. Mancera is a hit or miss brand for me, but this was a hit.

Mancera Holidays EDP opens with a moderate projection of very sweet, fruity, and white floral notes. The opening is delicious, fruity, dense, and refined. The coconut, bergamot, ylang-ylang, tiara flower, and vanilla are the opening most prominent notes. The bergamot is a brief visitor, its citrusy presence is just an introduction to the rest of the notes. The coconut and ylang-ylang blend their notes creating a deliciously fruity, tropical, milky, and creamy tone. In addition to its fruity and sweet tone, the ylang-ylang adds a delectable, banana-like accord. The tiara flower is also very prominent, it introduces a white floral, creamy, and fruity accord. The sea notes are noticeable in the form of a pinch of salt eclipsed by the sweet tones. As the fragrance dries down, the vanilla, which is noticeable as soon as the fragrance is applied, joins the less noticeable sandalwood, adding a very sweet, aromatic, dessert-like, and gourmand note; the sandalwood is almost unnoticeable. The white musk is the last developing note, it adds a fresh powdery and projecting accord. Once Mancera Holidays EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, sweet, vanilla, coconut, floral-fruity, ylang-ylang, tiara flower, and white musk fragrance. The fragrance feels comforting, creamy, delectable, delicate, delicious, fresh, gourmand, inviting, light-marine, modern, natural, nicely-blended, playful, refined, rich, sweet, more feminine than masculine, and very pleasant.

I added this to my collection 2 weeks ago. I def get the white flowers, tiare, almost suncreen vibe most talk about. I want to add my .02 worth to a review below. To me this is the same vibe as MMM Beach Walk & Soleil Blanc. But Bronze Goddess STINKS to me, this IS WAYYYY better, as they stated, Bobbi Brown Beach, I do own, but it's tooo synthetic. I never wear it. But the OG Creed VIW will NEVER EVER be beat. EVER. In my eyes. I guard my bottle of that w/ my life & the 1/3 I have left stays in the fridge b/c I am terrified to even smell the reform. This is also close to Guerlain Terracotta to me, I have that one too. In my mind, right this minute, it seems like this may be the closest to Terracotta. Not identical. Both very good. I also get the bubblegummy Tuberose that is in Mancera's Velvet Vanille.

Much like another recent Mancera acquisition (Mancera Sicily), this one is keeper...but for the ladies. Holidays opens with a "prominent" blast of coconut along with a carbonated "fizz" that tickled my nose and made me sneeze. Offhand, I was expecting this fragrance to be in the same postal code as Creed Virgin Island Water, but that coconut vibe quickly fades into the background and I detect a soft vanilla, ylang ylang, with some aromatic tones wrapped in an almost "airy" type of vibe.

Mancera Holidays is not a heavy, creamy or thick type of a vanilla perfume. Rather, it has a vanilla vibe similar to Creed Sublime Vanilla (not that they smell similar) in that the mental image I experience is that of smelling cotton balls scented with vanilla bean. While the Creed perform terribly, this Mancera performs much better in that it lasts a honest 7-8 hours and projects above average on my skin, which is great for a Summertime scent.

Holidays is best worn casually during a warm Sunny day, but I find that it also has a "good girl" sex appeal that could easily be dressed-up for an evening event out with a "naughty girl". I love this fragrance...but on a women's skin IMO. Definitely worth taking a sniff...

I got this in a swap and am in LOVE. It's:

MMM Beach Walk but better,
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc but better,
Annick Goutal Songes but better,
Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess but better,
Memoire Liquide Vacances Liquide but better,
Creed Virgin Island Water but better,
Molinard Vanille Marine but BETTER.

Even though I love all of those, this one rules them all. I can smell ALL the notes distinctly, plus I could swear a little bubblegummy tuberose! Heaven.

William78

Hi quick question guys and girls.
Does this resemble Tom ford Soleil Blanc parfum

So based on reviews here I've recently been blind buying some Mancera products. So far I've picked up Auod Lemon Mint, Cedrat Boise & this. I have to say I wasn't too much impressed with the first two & almost gave up on this line but I figured to give it one last chance with Holidays because of how much the composition of notes interested me & I have to say I'm really happy I did. This stuff is really good all the way around. I don't get a lot of sweetness out of this like some others have mentioned & the coconut does not dominate nearly as much as it does in something like Creed VIW or Aramis Bermuda. The notes seem to be evenly distributed to create an overall very well blended fragrance. The only slight knock I might have on this is that I feel it does lean slightly more feminine but not enough for me to shy away, it's something both the wife & I can enjoy using! My motivation for trying some other scents from this house has been reignited.

The perfume tariff smells like sunscreen. The perfume comes with coconut and chocolate-like fragrance. The water note is felt on the skin, not on the outfit, and the performance is good. With 2 Fis you can feel comfortable for 7 hours. A simple, creamy fragrance that doesn't bother you.

Kione

I am absolutely gutted that this perfume is giving me a bad reaction.
It is gorgeous. Summery but not fresh, sexy and enveloping.

Winki

This is a fun amusement park scent. Summer fun in a bottle. I will probably say goodbye to it because it feels quite preteen/teen on me.

talkaboutscents

Coconut, tiare, vanilla...You must have a taste for sweet feminine scents to like it. True to its name the vibe is definetely a summer holiday, but not fresh by any means. It's scent for a luxurious beachside evening. People would choke and vomit, you name it, if you go over 3 sprays on hot weather. But I like the "scent". I think it's a sexy scent that would linger perfectly around a woman, and I bet it's much better when smelled on the air, but with the condition of light sprays. Due to strong sweet ingredients I can't detect any sandalwood of any type, sea notes or citruses. It's just a coconut sweet floral bomb that will likely last for ages. (Going very strong at 4 hours on testing strip).

Some other choices from same scent family would be the Coco Extreme/Figue from Comptoir sud Pacifique and Intense Tiare from Montale.

neinmuses

I've had this radiating on my skin for two hours now, and it's so sharp and sickly sweet I might scrub it. I don't know what is bringing this pungent sharp note, perhaps the ylang-ylang (which I usually enjoy), but I cannot stand this scent. The coconut note is so synthetic and sweet, it actually makes my nostrils tingle as if they're burning. This is a strong dislike for me.

Paul.Monk

This is my favorite Mancera, by far! Smells exactly like my favorite sun oil, which is Garnier Ambre Solaire.

I only wear this fragrance during my summer holidays. Therefore it brings back summer memories year after year.

For me this is a 9/10. So peaceful. But please try before you buy, it's anything but generic.

tayyabforyouth

Very unique tropical opening with lots of coconut and tiare flower with some citrusy elements; reminds me of Virgin Island Water somewhat. Drydown is somewhat generic and reminds me of suntan lotion, and the coconut amps up along with vanilla. Good scent but not great, with the opening being the best part.

This is a very beautiful scent. It lays close to the skin it doesn’t slap you
Upside your head although I would like for others to be able to smell me .
But I have noticed I have a hard time smelling myself no matter what I’m wearing
After an hour or so I guess that doesn’t mean others can’t . But however this is
A beautiful scent . I pick up on woody notes , Vanilla it’s sweet but not at all too sweet! I’m wearing it in very cold weather and loving it!

snowywhiteowl

This one is definitely a winner from Mancera. This scent is what led me to purchase a full bottle and to try other Mancera scents. The tiare flower and coconut are predominant on my skin. It's a scent I'd ordinarily wear in the summer but, because of it's strength and longevity, it'll be for winter too. It's calling out for a 'snow day' and sledding. I make my own scents but, like to try various different ones from time to time and definitely have some classics I've used throughout the years but, unfortunately many are being discontinued or 'hard to find'. The newer 'trendy' scents aren't very appealing to me and tend to lead to 'sameness'. 'Holidays' is definitely 'wear worthy' and if it lasts on my skin, gets a thumbs up for sure.

landshark321

Mancera Holidays is fun blend that lives up to its name in conjuring vacations/holidays, particularly in warm areas. Its bend of citrus, coconut, white florals, sandalwood, vanilla, and musk, is itself almost a typical formula for creating such an effect.

The citrus fades after a couple of hours and gives way to the floral/vanilla/woody/musky dry down, positioning the fragrance as unisex but feminine-leaning, even if slightly. It's a pleasant dry down, almost milky, but surely most of the excitement is in the opening couple of hours where the citrus is still in the mix.

It reminds me somewhat of Profumum Roma Dulcis in Fundo and Volo AZ 686, but certainly is not a near-match for either. It's just composed in a similar way in terms of the fresh citrus/vanilla in Dulcis and white floral/citrus/musk in Volo.

At $127.50 for the standard larger size 120ml bottle on FragranceX, the pricing is line with the discounted offerings of most grey markets for Mancera. Certainly there are cheaper alternatives to be found, but the fragrance does offer great performance and a semi-niche feel to it. A nice offering from the line, particularly for warm weather wearing.

Holidays works great in the high heat and will transport you to a tropical destination with its upscale suntan lotion vibe. I'm a male and in my opinion, after using it for over two weeks this scent is totally unisex and not overly sweet as others have said, but to each his own.

Mancera's quality shines through with its 8-10 hours performance on my skin, but spray places further away from the nose like below the neck because it is strong and packs a punch. I love to layer this with other complimenting scents such as Bvlgari's Acqua Amara and Creed's Virgin Island Water which morphs it into an even more delicious complex scent.

Update.... Because it is so full-bodied and strong, it actually works REALLY well in cold weather, reminding the user of happy warm tropical holidays in the past or to come.

UPDATE - this one is super strong. One spray to the ankle or you may choke. Two sprays is too much and over one spray, I like it less. Three sprays is WAY too much.

butterbean

Holidays is a very nice tropical perfume.

This perfume is a lovely beachy quality combined w coconut/tiare (monoi), ylang-ylang (quite noticeable) and aquatic notes.

When I first got this fragrance, I liked, but there was something that seemed off putting. After letting it "rest" and acclimatize, this perfume went from hedging on dislike to definite LOVE.

It is perfect for summer, as performance is very nice in hot hot heat.

Does. NOT. smell. Like. Intense Tiare. Not. Even. Close.

Hastey

I have to echo what others have said, this leans feminine and not unisex. It’s a very pleasant coconut and floral scent, with touches of aquatics, citrus and vanilla. It’s quite sweet, not cloying but would appeal to the younger crowd. This is the smell of sun screen lotion through and through, giving it a beach vibe.

Grasshoppaaa

Holidays is a floral feminine aromatic. I get a heavily sweetened tiare flower, jasmine, and coconut cream as the primary attributes here. The jasmine is clearly distinguishable, although it isn't listed anywhere. The orientation here is strongly feminine, and the fragrance projects quite strongly for a few hours.

The sea notes, vanilla, and sandalwood seem to makeup the background. They add a light bit of texture, character, and abrasiveness to the primary aroma. The aroma is very remincient of Hollywood Royale by Juicy Couture, which Holidays could easily be considered a contemporary of.

The fragrance is a bit simple, but for its qualities does one thing well; project a strong sense of femininity. It's not especially bad in any way, but if anything I think it should have been a more complex (or at least unique) version of its contemporary coming from a "higher-end" house such as Mancera.

It should have also been presented explicitly for women as well, as this is definitely not for men in the slightest.

Dwyatt

I got a sample of this from a forum member and I have to echo what miggs80 said. It's totally femme. This was made to smell exactly like a coconut/floral women's sun lotion. And it does smell exactly like that. I can't see many men wanting to wear this.

Does it have appeal? Sure, some. But it's very specifically a beachy, lotiony scent for women. If that's what you're looking for, look no further. This is the epitome of that type of air.

Pixie1104

A new love having recently discovered Mancera via their Travel Kit. As a devoted floral fanatic, I credit Mancera with the monumental task of converting me to vanilla in perfumery, a note I’ve hitherto been repulsed by. But really, Mancera do vanilla in a way I’ve never smelt it done before, not overwhelming or cloying in the slightest and blended so beautifully. This and Black Vanilla are both utterly delectable, indescribably delicious scents.
Holidays is fairly linear to my nose, it opens with a very creamy, tropical, coconut note and is soon joined by a lush garden full of exotic flowers and it stays that way throughout. It has depth though, depth and body, a thickness that’s almost oily (in a good way) and means it lingers in my skin unlike some other perfumes in this genre (I’m looking at you Bronze Goddess).
Yes it’s simplistic in its composition, yes it’s youthful and optimistic, but at the same time it has a universal appeal that I can’t imagine anyone finding unattractive.
An absolute contender for best summer fragrance in my collection - and I have well over a hundred perfumes.
Well done Mancera.

miggs80

This is 100% feminine and made for young teenage girls and under. It's absurd that this is labeled as unisex. Mancera Holidays gives off the same youthful extremely girly vibe as the Justin Bieber perfume I bought for my 9 year old daughter. If you're wanting to buy a fragrance for a young girl this is perfect. If you're over 18 or buying for a male you should look elsewhere. Not even the most metrosexual guy could pull this completely feminine fragrance off.
