Very interesting...I'm glad I sampled it lol, because I don't know how I feel about this. I like the cold, sort of minty vibe of the opening (probably the green/mentholated facets of the tuberose), but after thirty seconds, there's something I really can't pin down that's a little funky and throwing me off. Made me suddenly think of the dentist's office, although I can't really specify what it's reminding me of lol. Maybe the osmanthus? I don't know, I'll have to try it a little more.

Problem is, even if I decide I do like it, I don't know if I can wear this out! If I, someone who enjoys the smell of paperwhites, find this challenging...I feel like literally everyone close to me would never forgive me for wearing this lol.

Wild Python by Mancera has a strong citrusy indolic opening that develops into an airy white floral with a slight creamy base. Although Osmanthus and Tuberose often overpower fragrances, here they’re blended well, allowing the Jasmine to peek through. It’s a pleasant scent, though too indolic for my liking.

SummerRose

The imagery I got from the name Wild Python and from the design of the bottle was tight leather trousers, stilettos, red lipstick and a whip! However, after blind buying, the actual juice does not match the name or the bottle.

Wild Python is indeed, a feminine white floral but I was expecting the tuberose to be louder and the fragrance to be more bombastic.
Instead wrapped in the fragrance is something reminiscent of Good Girl Gone Bad or Kismet for Women or even Memo Marfa or one of its dupes - Marjan/Yaqeen. Essentially, what I'm getting is a smooth creamy but interesting white floral which has an additional facet of earthiness and greenness to it.

If you were to think of the slight greenness from something like Florabotanica or the earthiness of something like Chloe Nomade and if you were to also imagine the skin like beauty of Burberry Body then you have begun to paint a picture of Wild Python.

For me, this is indeed a gorgeous, alluring, feminine and beautiful scent. I feel really drawn to it but it is not the kind of sexy as I had imagined, instead it is subtle but will pull one closer to you.

Of course this is not for everyone, perfumes rarely are. It's for the kind of woman who enjoys white florals, who doesn't like it screechy, who likes it smooth, creamy, sophisticated but earthy, slightly green and genteel. It doesn't scream but rather whispers "come hither."

Performance - moderate sillage but good longevity. It sits closer to the skin but will remain a scent bubble around you for the entire day.

Finally, it is not similar to any of my other Mancera perfumes that I own and the tuberose is also presented quite differently in Wild Python. From the comments, I thought the tuberose was going to be dated and horrible but actually it is not, I really enjoy it in this. Also, hats off to the peach, osmanthus and vanilla combination!! If you are able to get a sample, give it a try.

nicolealissa

It is bitter, freshly floral, sweet, slightly tart, and powdery.

Ursula-Rod

After having this for a few months and never reached for it. I'm getting rid of my bottle. I'm 40 and feel like I have to be 50 to wear this fragrance and makes my nose burn too. I wanted to love it but I don't 🥲

francesco_grieco

Wild Python by Mancera lives up to its name in my view. The prominent presence of tuberose and other white flowers creates an enchanting and nocturnal aura. The combination of osmanthus and white musk yields an animalic touch, though far from being untidy; instead, it's a sleek and clean form of animalic. Fruity notes and patchouli contribute to the fragrance's overall opulence, resulting in a notably seductive quality. As it dries down, it progressively leans more towards a sweet and floral character.

Ethereal Love

I'm glad I only purchased a sample because the reviews for this fragrance are vastly different from what I smell out the bottle. The tuberose and white florals are velvety and buttery, and the florals are blended well enough that this has a vintage vibe without smelling dated. However, this is way too floral for me. Not a fan.

This smells like a fragrance that an older (maybe 40s or 50s+) woman would wear. It's classy but nothing about this is sexy to my nose. This smells like a perfume I would only wear to church- a place that evokes vibes of being serious and reserved, which is the complete opposite of sexy. It's not a "grandma" perfume imo, but it's also not youthful to me.

herculano

I just received it today.

Screw top.

The bottle is FAR more gorgeous in person. I wasn’t actually too keen on the snake print in the picture, but seeing it in person I actually gasped. Stunning flacon!

Very lovely perfume, and actually reminds me quite a bit of Crystal Noir! I am VERY surprised I see no one here making that connection!

Its deeper and less soapy than CN but it’s still a wee bit soapy, and so very much like CN.

Whereas CN has gardenia, this smells similar but with tuberose which gives it a very subtle grapey effect. It’s also much more animalic than CN. Less fruity, as well.

But in the end, WP is its own thing.

I am very happy with this perfume.

This and Velvet Vanilla will likely end my search for lush tropical white florals. I am quite enjoying both of them.

I don’t find it bombastic, but it lasts and lasts.

Update:

This is REALLY beautiful, and a pretty uncommon scent. Not sweet really at all. Extremely sexy… sensual…

Update:

Okay, this is becoming a deep love for me. Up there with my most top favorites.

Addictive. And I was wrong… it’s actually a huge projector. But never “perfumey”… never harsh. Very easy on the nose.

This is Magical. Enchanting.

2whit2quit

Any time I’m not wearing panties, I’m wearing Wild Python. 😏
Quite frankly, this fragrance makes me feel super hot, super sensual and extremely seductive. It has almost a narcotic effect on me. It’s strong and leaves an impression. If tuberose makes you nervous or is sometimes just too much, this is not your bottle of juice.

viktorijavla

Whenever I encounter the osmanthus note, I become excited. Regrettably, the tuberose disrupted everything.
It's quite intense with white florals, particularly with tuberose.

This fragrance screams arrogance. I envision a somewhat conceited middle-aged woman, believing she's superior to everyone, adorning herself with this scent.

VanillaaManiaa

Just got my bottle today, screw cap version so this is just first impressions- knowing Mancera this will develop and morph into something even more fabulous as the weeks go by.
This is just delightful, enveloping, seductive…completely different Tuberose to Velvet Vanilla- it’s smoother here and not so challenging, osmanthus is not as strong as Vanille Exclusive, instead it balances out the white florals. A lot of musk and vanilla woven amongst the notes, very feminine, a safe blind buy if you like your scent to make an impact. Projection and longevity are already huge and I’ve only just unwrapped this morning - it’s 8 hours later and my conservative 5 sprays are still very strong. Better than GGGB in my opinion- this is ‘meatier’ and a much thicker scent. Could be cloying as it’s so strong. Nothing like Of The Wild - that one is much softer and sweeter - but there’s a similar musk throughout the base of both. Almost has a vintage white floral vibe about it, smells expensive and luxe. This is for dinner dates and special occasions, and anywhere you want to feel glam, so in my case at work and the supermarket 😂 think I almost choked out my officemate when I came back in after spraying this - she did say it smelt very nice though. So glad to finally get my hands on this from discounters - very pleased with my blind buy 😍
UPDATE: I never thought a fragrance would cause me to be cautious 😅 but seriously this is one you DO NOT need to overspray! The 120ml is going to last me about 6 lifetimes…also, I recently visited some subtropical greenhouses full of lush jungle vegetation and flowers, and it smelled EXACTLY like Wild Python so the name now makes total sense. It encapsulates the humid, fragrant, and green wetness of a jungle so perfectly! Wild indeed

Sexy tuberose on a vanilla pod!

cristoletta

really unique fragrance

Ursula-Rod

This perfume is very sexy to me. A lady wearing a fur coat with a red lip and stilettos. Sexy and grown up. Not an everyday scent but can be worn in the in the winter, spring or cool summer night. I wouldn’t not wear this in the summer heat. I’m happy with it. Successful blind buy for me. I’ll probably add some extra peach TF bitter peach to make it more fun.

Kotikina

As soon as I sniffed it, I understood why it is called a wild python. The opening is agressive, animalistic, and ultra green. It is extremely soapy and almost vintage like tuberose bomb, with some osmanthus and a lot of musk. It is very unusual. I don't get any sweetness.

Good Girl Gone Bad is way more peachy/ shampoo like and is very polite in comparison to the python. You will definitely stand out wearing this.

jackvanderheijden

This is so beautiful in the Spring, cold weather with a early spring sun.
the smell around you..
You will enjoy the walk outside.....
What a Smellllll !!!!!

BASMAJ

Very STRONG white floral opening. It's like a fancy, high-quality floral soap or clothes softener.

I love jasmine, gardenia, and all types of white flowers, and this fragrance is very satisfying.

Besides the beautiful dry-down which is very lovely, ultra-clean... wild P is very long-lasting and projects massively! ...  It's lovely in the air way more beautiful than sniffing it close during the first hour or so.

It's the perfect fragrance to wear in the morning all year round... and if you want it's amazing on bed sheets, pillows, and inside the wardrobe on clean clothes... I can imagine myself loving it more over time I'm sure about that ... I'll leave it on my "want list" for now 😄 8.5/10

Shopperholic

Love, love me some wild Python. It’s very floral in a mature way.
I get lots of compliments when I wear this scent and it has enormous sillage.
The bottle is big too for heavy sprayers like myself to really enjoy the scent for a long time.

Golabd

At initial spray is a sharp fresh tuberose, after 30 minutes turns to a very beautiful flower/ tuberose scent which you can smell youself when you move . Very nice job!

lovetribe

I love tuberoses in any form, but this one is way too fruity and on the dated and ladylike side...and sweetish.
I don't know similarities with carnal flower.
the performance is insane.
maybe I should give her more time.
I'm putting it on the maybe list for now.

Alyjah1234

I have a Gazillion perfumes but this one is one of the special ones. Starts off straight Tuberose blast so intense it smells almost like menthol, but maybe 2 minutes in the Osmanthus starts spinning its wheels along with the other florals but not as strong as the Osmanthus and Tuberose gallivanting together. About 30 minutes to an hour in is where the magic happens, the dry down last centuries and is a blend beyond comparison. I was never one to realize the difference in the scent of a perfume when put to skin or clothes but for whatever reason this one melds with my skin so well and smells of nothing I've ever smelt before. On my 3rd 4ML bottle if that gives you a clue..

Kcbear28

Carnal Flower’s bubbly baby cousin. If you like tuberoses and white flowers, this is possibly a safe buy. Like most Manceras, this one is beast mode. Has that “sticky” quality that glues to your skin for a long time regardless of your skin chemistry. Classy and ultra feminine. Firm like.

P.S. The bottle is super bijou!

RottigrlNYC

This one is a love for me. It’s so nice that I bought it twice >^..^

adyna05_sv

This stuff is stroooooong! Beautiful in the air, always a compliment getter! My favourite for spring. Lasts on clothes for days.

NoorbBelgium

The musk, fruits, and tuberose dominate the introductory notes. When it settles, it becomes a sensual midtone, still powerful but silky with osmanthus and somewhat spicy tones from Indian tuberose. Creamy jasmine kicks off the heartbeat, followed by chocolate patchouli and vanilla to keep things from getting too harsh. The peach is succulent and makes an appearance now and again. The final dry down was a little tame. Sillage is massive at first, then diminishes to arm's length. Longevity is permanent. A smell that makes you feel attractive. Attractive and classy.

Arfume

i am a great fan of “carnal flower” and wild phyton is similar to carnal flower. Less expensive of course.

svdwdsn

Dirty animalic florals. This is what my nose sense. And how this perfume is on my skin. I dint get any sweetness from it. Reminds me of women during the 90's. Projection and sillage is beastly. I have to be in certain mood to wear this. Not an everyday kind of scent for me.

Eveningrose

The opening is like a dated white floral fragrance and I was kind of disappointed but after about 10 minutes the tuberose and creamy scents came out. It was lighter and really refreshing . It didn’t feel strong to me but I was definitely getting random whiffs of it through the day. If you can get past the opening, it is a nice scent!

Brooklynjade

Pretty, sweet tuberose with bergamot. Happy spring/summer floral. Mancera beast mode, long lasting. Feminine.

mirrorghost

this starts with tuberose, osmanthus, peach and bergamot. it's one of those bold 80s tuberoses, not indolic but sweetened from the peach/osmanthus. it reminds me of truth or dare with a heavy dose of peach.

Shaina87

This is similar to Velvet Vanilla in the sense of being a strong tuberose fragrance but Wild Python is more "floral" to me and has that patchouli note. From this I get strong tuberose - more of a floral tuberose than a bubblegum tuberose (ok, it's slightly bubblegumy but nowhere near as VV), jasmine, osmanthus and peach with vanilla and patchouli. It's sweet, but not as sweet as VV. One leans more floral and the other leans more of a fruity bubblegum. I have both and love them both. But I wear WP more often.

Edit/ Wild Python and Velvet Vanilla are divine layered together.

JennyNoBull

I blind bought this along with Instant Crush (which turned out to be a nuclear disaster for me) and I was worried that all Mancera fragrances would give me this stabbing pain in my upper sinuses.
I was pleasantly surprised by the scent profile here. It was a good choice for me based on the notes. I do think that this is reminiscent of GGGB, which I own and love. But WP is much louder, as is typical of most Mancera fragrances. I don’t detect a resemblance to Carnal Flower— maybe it’s the patchouli, but it missing the eucalyptus freshness on the top in CF. The juice is sweet, slightly dirty tuberose. I don’t always enjoy fruit notes in the top of a perfume, but osmanthus is great since it’s more soft apricot note. The peach echoes and amplifies the fuzzy stone fruit vibe. I adore peach in fragrances, it melts into my skin without all the acidic screech of lemon. Overall this is a heady, sexy floral with a leafy patchouli. I’ll wear it at night in place of GGGB.
I have to laugh at the Python reference. This fragrance has little to do with snakes, aside from the pattern on the bottle, which I kind of like. I’m getting a good giggle at some of the reviews making reference to a fear of snakes. But as an arachnophobe, I wouldn’t enjoy a bottle with hairy spider legs on it, no matter what the juice inside was like.

EmpressVision

I wanted to like this because I enjoy osmanthus (like in Montale Aoud Lagoon which I adore), jasmine, patchouli and musk. I likes LOUD. I thought this would've been an obvious hit. But alas...peach/osmanthus/vanilla doesn't work for me here. I love snakes and have handled many. This doesn't even remotely read serpentine. It reads too sweet and too powdery. Not enough of the animalic funk I likes to control the powdery. The sillage and longevity are great tho. Hard pass.

livelovelaugh0810

At first spray it is very stinky.
Like the type of “stinky” you get smelling white florals so it’s very realistic. And musky type of “stink”. When trying to focus in to smell the peach, you definitely get it and the slightly vegetal sweetness is from the osmanthus I’m guessing.

Right now, Idk how i feel about it but this is just my first impression. Getting whifs of it from my arm right now, and I feel like I’ve smelt women who smell like this before. Like theyre all older at least late 30’s. Smells like an elementary teacher. Definitely an adult woman who knows are at a very stable point in their life.

Pashmina95

Could someone explain me why this name : « wild python »? (This is a serious question ^^)
Because I think a lot of Mancera’s fragrance fit this name better (snake, and in particular python symbolize danger, sin, seduction, tentation etc. And I imagine something warm, spicy, maybe woody, in fact : something « poisonous ».
Does someone have an idea?

2whit2quit

Oh, I love Wild Python!! This is a super fun tuberose option. It's sweet, yes, thanks to the peach and osmanthus, but still somewhat indolic and not perfectly clean, especially with that patchouli in the middle. Longevity and projection are great.

07.05.22: Reporting back to share that I am rarely stopped by strangers about any fragrance I wear. But this... Wild Python had a man track me down (in a v polite way) while shopping just to ask what I was wearing. Super enticing and lingering scent trail!

07.19.22: Got a FB xx just had to - and since I like to share... FragranceBuy.ca for the best deal.

brightsun2205

A creamy and well-blended tuberose perfume with a touch of sweetness. It is not so strong that it is work-friendly. Like, this scent will stay for hours when working full-time.

Mysticmiah1970

I’m so getting into tuberose the now I was deciding between this and velvet vanilla but decided on this one as I think the other one is more bubblegummy. Anyways it opens with the fruits which smell creamy with the tuberose and jasmine vanilla and white musk. The tuberose and musk are the stars of the show in this one.So well blended I actually can’t stop smelling my wrist this is so good so glad I purchased this one. This definitely doesn’t match it’s name or bottle a wee treasure and one I’m so happy to have in my collection.Definitely going to check out more from this brand.

JHG Midnight Oud'la beraber en beğendiğim kadın parfümü. Aşırı çekici ve ismine yakışır bi parfüm.

kalhie

Heavy reminiscence to Gucci Bloom. Wild Python is subtly sweeter, specially after setting, 30 min. in. It's a very good perfume but if you have Bloom I don't think you need this. However if you find Bloom too intrusive and strong, this may be a very good option!

ambibc

this perfume reminds me of springtime or dewy summer mornings at my grandparents farm - the osmanthus blossoms, orange blossoms, jasmine and tuberose with the bergamot remind me of the produce blossom mixing with grandma's flower garden. Someone noted a strong aromatic/herbal pull and I would agree, my husband dislikes this fragrance and thinks it smells like neosporin ( I can see that) but it pulls more to an overall childhood aroma memory for me. I love it, I find it comforting and reminiscent of a time that once was.

Alexandra.kom

I do think that those who compared this perfume to good girl gone bad haven't actually smelled it! Yes the notes are almost the same but these 2 perfumes are completely different

Wild python is strong on jasmin and bergamot almost citrusy rather than a white floral.
Long lasting and feminine and when it settles down it blooms into a lovely jasmine perfume with a musk powdery feeling and light patsouli undertones that keeps it lasting on the skin

On my skin it smells clean and floral, like i just got out of the shower maybe a bit soapy from the musk.

Lovely choice if you want a white floral/citrucy perfume but is definitely not a dupe for good girl gone bad!

Rosemary14

I ordered a decant of this forgetting that I’d already sampled it and put it in the “okay” category. It smells like Good Girl Gone Bad with amped up tuberose. Some say it resembles Carnal Flower but only in the tuberose category. This is far more aromatically osmanthus dominant and goes quite animalic and even slightly herbal. There is something a bit harsh like strong soap. I find the similarities to CF in a thick dense wet jungle kind of way but it’s not as balanced with the notes as CF. It’s much more like GGGB with the way it actually smells. If you love osthmantus and tuberose this scent is definitely for you.

AbeJRoberts

If you love Chanel Gardenia but need more oomph - this is it! Chanel Gardenia is shy, cute and flirty but weak - Wild Python is very unapologetic, gorgeous and deceptively strong. It's very floral - easily the most floral perfume in my collection. If you don't like floral - stay away from this one. Seriously - at first the florals were very strong and serious - like walking through a very high end funeral parlor or garden at a stately chateau. It quickly calms down and becomes a little more playful with an almost chewy/jammy type tuberose. After 5 hours I can still smell myself when I move around but it's not cloying. I'm enjoying this fragrance - but I don't think it'll be a daily for me. However, it is a welcomed addition to my humble stock and I'll spray it on occasionally.

Bopha85

Omg, so much soap in the beginning but dries down to a pleasant peachy scent.

Aromantra

Let me start by saying that I'm not a person who uses the term "beast mode" (can't stand that phrase), but GOOD GOD this fragrance is monstrous! Nothing else I own performs like this... I even sprayed various spots around the house, and no joke, you can smell this a week later.

So, as for the scent itself, it is a heady peachy-floral creamy musk bomb. I consider it *almost* unisex (definitely leans quite feminine).
The vibe is that of mature nonchalant wealth & fine taste. Refined, yet unpretentious. Once again, it has insane sillage/longevity and is simultaneously fuzzy yet loud. Great value for money because this 120ml will probably last forever.

SailorV

I'm suffering from tuberose fatigue. In theory I absolutely love this flower, but in practice I have smelled so many tuberose scents in the past years that I became picky. To impress me now, tuberose has to be either one small part of a perfect blend or a stunningly great iteration like Carnal Flower.
But Wild Python is none of that. It's just another classic tuberose. Mentholated in the opening, which I'm not a big fan of, sweeter and more powdery in the drydown. I can smell peach, osmanthus, jasmine and patchouli, but tuberose is the star of the show. It's slightly vintage-y and vaguely recalls Fracas, but all in all Wild Python is still a modern scent. It has a warm base and a nice fruitiness, so it's not as cold and soapy as for example Gucci Bloom.

This isn't unpleasant by any means, if you like sweet white florals (which I do) there is nothing to hate about it. But I find nothing to love or even really like either. At least the performance is good, though not quite as loud and intense as some other Manceras (which can be a plus on occasion). I might have liked this a lot 5 years ago, but now I find it just OK. Nothing wild about this.

It's weird how I never felt that way about vanilla, patchouli or other popular notes. Maybe because tuberose is such a diva of a flower that it can be exhausting if the perfume around it isn't perfect?

SheScent88

This fragrance is sexy and beautiful omg I love it

ivadim

Много красив, само жегите не му понасят.

Nicki6089

Does Python remind anybody of Armani My Way?

Music_luver77

Very pretty! It smells like Carnal Flower and Good Girl Gone Bad mated and had this as a baby. Projection is loud! Use a light hand with this one or you might offend noses around you (even your own).

Alyjah1234

This is the most gorgeous perfume I've ever smelt! I wouldn't even know how to describe how magnificent and lovely this stuff is. Worth every single penny!

RottigrlNYC

I really love this one, it’s my first perfume from Mancera and what got me into trying and loving Niche perfumes. Only problem I have is that it doesn’t last. After a half hour it’s a barely there skin scent. What a shame, it’s such a beautiful perfume. I find most of Mancera perfumes have very low projection and bad longevity. I still love my bottle and will wear it a lot, but will not repurchase it. Unless they make it stronger and longer lasting.

Kiti89

I've been testing this for a little while and at first, wasn't the biggest fan. It was nice but the animalic quality made it a little skanky on my skin. I could detect a sweetish, musky tuberose but it was mingled with the skankyness.

Since, my nose seems to have got over that and it's creamy, floral and sweet. It's lovely.

dessybg

Уникален аромат..... В началото цветен, малко сапунен и свеж. После става някакси странен, заради пачулито и мускуса предполагам. Не е сладък и това според мен е минус, но ако имате Сосо Valinle може да му добавите (както правя аз)

olga.stratienko

Needed some time to get used to it. I love flowers very much but this: It’s a very strong scent that radiates. In the beginning it smells pissy. Like a public toilet.. but when it dries down, it smells like FLOWERRSS. And not a bouquet of flowers, but like a container with flowers - and someone throw you in this container and you trying to get out to have some air.
It was hate-love-hate-love relationship at the beginning. I knew I had to get through the beginning, and when I did it smells so so wonderful. If you not overspray you will smell the beauty of this flowery Mancera. Again it is well done. The quality is great

The silage is BIZARRE and out of this world. Never experienced such longevity and silage. I am used to Mancera but this one is extreme. 1 spray only, lasts all day on my skin.

I always wanted a good alternative for Poeme Lancôme (which gave me headaches, so I couldn’t wear it). This python has more depth and intensity, but suprisingly enough doesn’t give me headaches!
I like it, it’s pleasant when not overspray. I think this is a very good summer scent.

DMS162002

This is an amazing tuberose and osmanthus fragrance that gets a bad rap because it is horribly misnamed. This is no deadly python but the happiest aquatic snake frolicking through lily pads and lotus flowers. Tuberose can be very sweet and the addition of osmanthus and vanilla can threaten to be cloying but I find this quite beautiful and refreshing thanks to the peach, bergamot and orange blossom lending their crispness. Fragrantica indicates an animalic note but I detect none. Wild Python is inoffensive, inviting and very feminine. A scent that you feel beautiful in. Not my usual pick, but sometimes simple and sweet is enough.

bovogie

IMO this is very tuberose dominant & boy does it last forever. It can get a little nauseating after a while, especially if you're not that into heavy floral scents. Plus side is that it doesn't have that strong rubbing alcohol note that is so prevalent in Instant Crush.

akawanis

Like others, I'm trying to wrap my head around its name. It's come hither slither seductive - a man-eater on the prowl.

Instead of banana-facets (common to tuberose), or the peach on the pyramid, the fruit-facet I get is Cherry Flavored Chapstick. In a great way! It's the pyramid that I *hoped* Tubereuse 2 Virginale Histoires de Parfums would deliver, but didn't.

There's nothing dark, dirty, or animalic about this wild ride. Enjoy!

Rhialto the Marvellous

So I find myself sniffing this at the Mancera counter, flirting with the idea of rocking this as a guy and wondering how this would layer with Ombré Leather. In walks this really beefy guy, all dressed in sports gear, gangster hat, tribal tattoos all over his neck, and sporting a ginormous beard. He seems to quickly look around, trying to spot the SA, and when he sees she is occupied, he goes straight for the Wild Python and quickly applies about 8 sprays to his chest, neck and yes, the ginormous beard. He puts the bottle back and he's gone from the store. I swear the whole thing took no more than five seconds. A real smooth routine, he probably does this very often. XD Gotta love the fact that some guys aren't afraid to smell like flowers!

ivadim

This opens with a blast of sweet and creamy tuberose with osmanthus. In the dry down, the white musk is coming through to balance the sweetness of the opening. Once the fragrance is settle you get a pretty lipsticky cosmetic smell with the tuberose, osmanthus and musk still present. This smells very familiar. It’s pleasant but not something Full bottle worthy for me. It’s a must sample for the tuberose lovers. I think you will love it.

Tuberose bomb! Gorgeous, natural, gooey, romantic tuberose. Made even smoother by osmanthus. Wild Python is an elegant floral which is adaptable to any season and occasion. Though beautiful, I don't understand the animalic name and bottle design because the scent is not wild. It is perhaps the best tuberose fragrance in my collection. If you like KKW signature perfume, then you'll find Wild Python to be a more refined and upgraded tuberose. Performance is great. Sillage is moderate but longevity is days.

Fragbrunettehead

Absolute gorgeous tropical scent. If you are looking for something to wear on your holidays, buy this. Real sun tan lotion type of scent. I would say very feminine leaning with the white florals. The dry down does have leanings towards Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, so If you are looking for a cheaper version maybe try that.

drawingmaniac35

This on paper is probably the best Mancera I have ever tried! Once I get past the obnoxious opening, I find a creamy sweet tuberose, smoothed out by the osmanthus. Such a beauty! But on my skin...horrors! I so envy anyone who has the chemistry for this masterpiece!
Needless to say, this was a very unsuccessful blind buy for me but where I live, there is nowhere to test it.

Coincidentally sniffed this from my colleague, it is a huge bomb. She just sat there at her office, I detected her scent immediately to my nose just by walking past her (not from her movement).

It is such huge explosion of tuberose, which I love so much. I decided to purchase the travel set, it is so worth. The opening is mixed of floral and a hint of peachy as showed composition. Honestly, I could never feel the drydown because it is always mingled/wraped to your body as a python. I get the message from its name, whereas people are bashful about the name how it could be (and cannot feel) Wild Python. However, it is quite similar to Carnal Flower (Malle) but in modern way against classic version of Carnal Flower.

I never boast in regard of perfume performance, this is a beast in longevity and projection which why I intrigue in the first place from my colleague. Love to have this in my collection.

Longevity: 5/5
Projection: 5/5
Uniqueness: 4/5

Very potent, very well done! An aggressive, confident scent. I agree the dry down is fantastic, and the longevity is kind of insane, I'm going 24h and it is still going strong. Over spraying can be very overwhelming and will persist! Its one solid snake.

It seems like most people here are praising the creamy tuberose and fruity peach opening (which I totally agree is amazing), but the dry down is by far my favorite part of this fragrance. It is a very tame white musk with hints of the bright peach and green patchouli, but it radiates so beautifully, that I couldn't imagine not having this in my collection.
The only wild thing about it might be the strong synthetic 80's vibe of the opening, but the dry down is so crisp and fresh - a perfect spring scent!

trabuquera

It choked me.

I'd find a 2 metre python more cuddly and appealing than this, sadly.
It's not the Mancera, it's me - this wasn't ever going to work on me due to the overwhelming, crushing force of peach AND tuberose, two of my all time phobias in scent. Begins with an immediately alarming plasticky-bubblegum tuberose with a pretty decent skim of bright, fragrant citrus over the top which gave it enough zing for me to relax and almost be at ease with, even though this is dangerous fake-tropic-jungle territory for me ... for a short while ... until the inevitable happened and the peach and tuberose swelled and squeezed and squashed out all the other stuff I liked. Overwhelmingly womanly to my nose, and with Mancera's usual bossy sillage but surprisingly short-lived presence. A hyper-coloured ultra femme blowsy bombastic flower bomb for those who go for that kind of thing, but it's just not a species I can coexist with comfortably. Would certainly provide wild tuberose performance for a reasonable budget for those who live the note.

There's nothing similar to a wild python here to start with the name. I love the femininity of this. a completely realistic tuberose scent. a powerful tuberose. One of my favorite perfumes Michael Michael Kors called signature for women. I'm in love with tuberose. the initial powerful tuberose and osmanthus are later flavored with jasmine and vanilla. peaches are felt slightly. Adds musky creaminess. tuberose does not leave the collar of perfume from start to finish. 12 hours of performance on my skin. silage near the skin after the first hour. I think someone who likes tuberose must try. more suitable for all ages than fracas, a tuberose perfume.
I can not say very original. but she is beautiful.
edit: I think that this perfume may be my new signature smell every passing hour.

euevabrown

Nothing wild no python! A beautiful blended tubereuse with the same dna as carnal flower, therefore yes it can be a very good replacement for carnal flower which might be tooo expensive for the current formula. Wild Pyton start a bit green but after a few minutes becomes creamy and addictive. I found it quite narcotic and very sexy but not in a wild way but more in a sensual carnal way. It smells expensive, very high quality. The minus is sillage. On me zero. It does have longevity quite good I can feel it on me about 6 hours, but absolutely no sillage/projection. People do not feel it around me, do not notice it. It s a pity because such a beautiful smell should be felt around. For me it goes perffectly well in all season so it could be a signature scent if the sillage would be stronger.

On my skin ph:
Scent: 10/10
Longevity: 7/10
Sillage/projection: 4/10

WILD PYTHON
where on earth are they getting these names from??? It’s a nasty snake. Clingy and cold.
Beware. Couldn’t get it off fast enough. Gone are the days of Mancera olfactory feasts.
The Mancera edifice has crumbled. How the mighty have fallen! Just didn’t work for me.

All the notes should sing. They’re all beautiful. Someone’s worked really hard to get them to shriek. I mean, jasmine, osmanthus, tuberose and vanilla. How can you go wrong? What were they thinking?!?
Too expensive. Try before buy.
I’m selling most of my newer Mancera. Send me a message if anyone is lucky enough to have the skin chemistry for them.

mapache

OMG. THE tuberose I have been searching for.
The tuberose/osmanthus/patch IMO..gives off a "leathery" vibe with musk...so..."musky floral leather" w/o being cloying....it's smooth/creamy but with an added kick of masculinity.Good projection/longevity also.
I do get an earthy vanilla...and a tad of jasmine...I guess the peach in in there somewhere too. It does not go too indolic/animalic on my skin.
On my test from a spray sample.
I must have a full bottle ....soon !!!

mimette11

I love this scent, beautiful !!!!! 100% Floral, 0% dark, 0% spicy or animalic. Sweet but not gourmand or sugary. IMHO not sexy as some people say, but pretty narcotic and very feminine. It is all about tuberose and osmanthus with a slight peach just in the opening. Easy to wear, specially during summer. A unique scent and a high quality perfume, but there is no python and nothing wild in this blend, so try before buying.

tayyabforyouth

Amazing osmanthus and tuberose opening that smells a lot like neroli to me. Amazing drydown as well that smells similar to the opening but with less tuberose. Mostly a white floral scent and leans feminine. But man is this amazing! I love it even though I'm a male. If only I didn't have enough neroli scents to last a lifetime, I would have added this to my collection.

I have no idea why they name this perfume Wild Python... There's nothing wild about this python, it must be a domesticated pretty python hahaha.

The scent is beautiful, but I smelled this before in Bond No 9 Central Park West, albeit they aren't totally the same, Bond's CPW is flourished with gardenia, and on the drydown the tuberose is subdued by gardenia, while in this the tuberose keeps becoming the main actor with peach and osmanthus giving it fruity and a teeny weeny bit spicy vibe.

As always, Mancera's longevity is not to be questioned, but as for silage I think CPW performs better, because Wild Python for me isn't really wild wild. Beautiful nonetheless.

Hawk65

Not sure why they are calling this a Chypre Floral, I am getting all floral. The notes in this are like a Fracas Lite version on my skin. Not bad, but not quite what I was expecting. I was hoping for a little more woody, mossy and a little less floral. The tuberose and osmanthus and jasmine are overpowering the other notes.

I am seriously hoping the florals calm down and the warmer notes kick in. I am about an hour in and am getting sick to all the flora. I'm sure I over sprayed, but this is tuberose/osmanthus on steroids. I get little peach, but sure that is the source of the sticky sweet mixed up in the florals.

Not sure if I like it or hate it at this point. Probably needs a longer test run and perhaps another day with fewer sprays.

My favourite Mancera Perfume

This is a masterpiece!!! I got a sample and when I first wore it, I was overwhelmed. I felt like the entire bus I commute on could smell it. So don't over apply. After that, I've continued to wear it because I just wanted to keep smelling it! I smelled it on my clothes after a few days while doing laundry and had to figure out what is was because it smelled amazing.
It's a summer perfume. The opening dry down is musky and perfect on my skin. I like to wear musky perfumes in the summer.
Staying power and spillage is excellent. I've sampled many Mancera perfumes, abd this is the best.

every108minutes

To any guys out there... From personal experience, this is very wearable for men. Thumbs up from me!

Pay attention to me, I am here! A woman that doesn't need to say anything with words, because her presence in the only thing she needs. What a fragrance!

shivers33

Magnificent! I thought that there won’t be another tuberose dominated fragrance, beside carnal flower, that I would like this much! Wild Python, although similar to the above mentioned, takes it to the next level when it comes to femininity, allure and and elegance! Great projection and longevity! Great price too!

chridela

Bombastic white floral in a vintage style. There is nothing subtle about this. Longevity, sillage and projection are off scale - nuclear. There is a time and a place for this beauty and its not the office. A formal setting, in a gown, at a gala, etc. - A great scent for an uber-glam femme fatale.

My first impression was that of Poison on steroids, with the attitude of Chanel no 5. The only way I will be able to get any daily wear out of this one is to dab the equivalent of a third of a spray.

So its a lovely fragrance, but versatility is limited.

JacquieDS

I want one, where can we get this online?

Wild Python
The opening is ultra agressive with the musk, fruits and tuberose. This is a fragrance that will knock everything off your shelf and demand you only keep your attention on it.

Once it settles down it smoothes out into a sexy midtone still strong but smooth with the osmanthus and slightly spicy tones from the Indian tuberose. A creamy jasmine starts it's heartbeat and a chocolate patchouli seeps in underneath with vanilla to keep this from going too sharp. The peach is succulent and makes it presence known from time to time. Final drydown a bit tame, but acceptable if you are into white musk. Personally it be perfection if they had dared to use a warmer musk than a clean laundry musk as the very final drydown. There is distinctly two musks at play - the opening (like Katie Perry Indi- and the laundry white musk for the end.) Easily unisex due to it's heavy musk presence. Sillage is enormous then settles down to arm's length. Longevity average. Snicker at the name behind it's back, but once confronted it will take over.

A dominant white floral. About damn time someone makes a fragrance that grabs you by the throat. Candy girls go home. This is for a maneater. Bravo Mancera. Find it at Luckyscent, Beverly Hills Perfumary and official Mancera outlets.

I had been waiting for this perfume for a long time, especially for the presence of the osmanthus. And it is very effectively. I like it.

aida ferrer

I bought a house sample of this one because I write reviews only after sampling . It is all about osmanthus, tuberose and patchouli. Very simple, moderate sillage and longevity. Very similar to Kilian GGGB Extreme which I own and also with Luxury overdose Pluie de Osmanthe from Absolument Parfumeur, which also I own. Not bad, but not original or awesome.

GodKing

Ignore the mook rant (mookrant, morkant, whatever) since Wild Python is a fantastic...no, spectacular...no, make that a fantacular name for a women's perfume, and this Mancera (Nurse Feratu got it right) sounds like the perfect fragrance a tough, sexy, confident woman like my girlfriend (aka Copperhead/Future Mother of my Dragon Babies).

Wild Python sounds ideal for the woman who makes weak, feckless, soy-boy types turn the other way when she passes by packing a Colt .45 on her right hip, and a Ka-Bar affixed to her left side. It may also be well-suited when this gal rocks a black evening dress...whose sex appeal, combined with scent appeal, leaves lesser men and mooks unable to make eye-contact.

Tuberose can be a bit overwhelming when featured prominently in fragrances, but we will be sampling Wild Python in the near future. One thing for sure...it's not for the "girl who always leaves the house with wet hair and cries a lot." LOL!

Nurse Feratu

Wild Python is almost as good a name for a fragrance as Sex Panther. Almost.
