Let's compare Souffle Maria’s with Iris Drages, which is sweet, almond, vanilla, seductive. And this scent is iris, unsweetened, relaxing. The quality of the ingredients in both perfumes also differs noticeably. The base notes Massimo smell cheap.

It finally had a comeback in a new bottle, together with some others from the same collection. Available at Massimo Dutti website at least in Europe. Very happy to see this, hope the scent remained the same as much as possible - the temporary vanishing could be related to important fragrance material regulation changes (restrictions, bans) in the past few years and perhaps needed re-adjustment. Or it was just a hick up, who knows. Souffle Marais is really a blend that delivers class above its price point, one of the best I smelled in the genre (of white musk and violet powdery floral).

Not nearly as good as Iris Dragees, which I adore. Souffle Marais has more violet than iris, and lots of revoltingly synthetic sandalwood. Very off-putting to my nose.

This is a a very comforting scent; very classy and sophisticated with moderate sillage and longevity.

this to me smells like the drydown of Bvlgari Amethysts, very powdery yet very comforting. this is the scent im wearing after shower when im going to sleep. it’s fresh & powdery clean scent that i find suitable for daily at home or running simple errands, it does scream elegance & comforts at the same time. though i prefer Bohemian Musks from this collection, i would recommend Souffle Marais for those who love very powdery scent. and if you are into Bvlgari Amethyst, you’ll definitely will be drawn to this. this has descent longevity on skin (more longlasting on fabric) and projection is moderate.

It seems it has been discontinued. If anyone has a spare please feel free to message me! One of my very favourites 🤍✨

People saying it doesn’t resemble Infusion d’Iris, c’mon!!! It’s clearly a dupe… and a good one.

To my nose this is absolute perfection. Soft, clean powdery with woodsy undertones. I little bit of sweetness in the dry down. It’s a very happy smell and I usually associate “happy” with citrus. If you told me this was from the house of Chloe I would believe you. Excellent longevity for the price point even though the sillage is not remarkable. I can smell lilacs, violets and iris….
It’s not a screamer but it’s very, very elegant. It makes me want to wear silk.
I would be quite happy to wear this for the rest of my life!

I don't see the infusion d'iris similarity. It is powdery with sandalwood. Very soft and lineer. Not bad but boring.

Infusion d'Iris? I have to check again but as of writing this review I don't think so, or let me put it differently, there are other perfumes this reminds me more.

Souffle Marais is not an "iris" perfume to my nose but more of a white musk first then violet concoction smoothened with sandalwood. This is exactly the theme used in Emporio Armani - Lei/She and also significantly in the masculine version Lui/He. Also can tell from recent experience, Lancome Iris Dragees is in the same vein as this one.

I think it has great value for price, longevity was easily 5+ hours in one day of testing (on skin) and on paper it stayed 24+ hours which is not unusual provided that violet ingredients (a group of compounds called "ionones" in perfumery) are quite substantive and in combination with sandalwood molecules (also by structure heavy molecules that are persistent). All on a layer of Iso E Super and powdery musks similar to Bvlgari Pour Homme, Kenzo - Power (men), JHAG - Not A Perfume/Superdose etc.

I hate to admit that current formula of Emporio Armani - Lei/She doesn't smell much like its original, but Souffle Marais does - speaking from memory...(Mind you, both Lui and Lei are re-released in 2019/20, same bottle but they are further reformulated and therefore they moved even further away from the originals, not as rich, quite watery and more citrusy aspects at play, the DNA was all about violets and oakmoss/sandalwood, not anymore...)

Really nothing bad to say about Souffle Marais, on the contrary a lot to praise, if you are into powdery violet with a silky sandalwood base without being too iris-powdery or sweet that feels like a warm blanket, one to check for sure. Only downside, hard to come by since not every Massimo Dutti store has it and their online shopping is also mediocre. I had to get a bottle while I can, and even though it is registered as feminine, I think a guy can easily pull this off as well - like I will do soon, maybe layered with some citrus cologne or a dry smoky wood/incense bomb.

I bought both this and Infusion d'Iris. It's almost the same scent. But there are differences. This one is softer, has a slight creamy sweetness reminding you of a clean skin. Prada has more of a 'bite', probably because of the benzoin, it makes more of a statement.

They are both lovely powdery unisex fragrances that smell understated in a classy way. Perfect for a professional or lecturer, but not only. Do you need both? Definitely not, but I did it because I'm a maniac. Souffle Marais has a better price but it's harder to find.

It is best perfume you can by in this price range. It reminds me Prada d'Iris Infusion, but this one stays longer on your skin.
Pls note that it is not the same with Prada d'Iris Infusion, this is more feminen and warmer, but also powdery.. I like it and happy from blind shopping, no regrets at all ;)

I love this scent. Long lasting and sillage is moderate.

I agree with those who say it reminds of prada infusion d iris. That prada is more intense to my experience.

Smells unisex and expensive and yet very pleasant and the price is unbelievably cheap.

I rate it 9/10.
