I love love loveeee this perfume so much …♡ Definitely my favorite miumiu fragrance that I own . Feminine , fresh and just such a gorgeous scent . I got this perfume as a present and at first all it seemed quite peppery but Oh . My . God after some time it just turned into this beautiful refreshing scent . I really just can’t wait till spring so I can wear this even more !! Will wear this on my deathbed

Mirabelka03

Blind buy disappointment. Absolutely not similar to Byredo Bal d'Afrique neither to Al Rayhan by Attar Collection. Maybe the same direction, fresh scent, woody cedar note and that's it pretty much. Overal very light unremarkable scent and not worthy $65 I paid online. Longevity/ sillage rather weak than medium.

Msala140

Such a nice refreshing fragrance. It’s sweet , fruity and airy, I think the red pepper really come through on my skin w this scent. I can see it being appropriate for school or work, it’s not loud and stays closer to skin but still noticeable when someone is close by. It’s pretty clean and fresh , right amount of sweetness w the touch of woodiness from the cedar and musk in the back .

ReneeKeats

This is the perfume that made me realise that what sits well on one person's skin, may not sit well on another's. It is also the reason I will never blind buy again.

This is a really unique scent that is a little hard to describe but it does smell quite peppery like some other people have mentioned. I bought a bottle after smelling it on my colleague (who I always thought smelled cozy and huggable). The feedback I received while wearing it at work was that it smells like a really dominant, unapproachable woman. I ended up getting rid of it because my husband was repulsed by it.

I still think this scent is pretty, but it's just not for me.

jsmn

This is feminine, classy and mature. It’s sweet, floral, balanced by soft woodiness. I have tried Bal D’afrique by Byredo and I think this is sweeter. The Byredo one has a plasticky smell to my nose. I’m not sure if it’s the Apple blossom that makes this sweet. I could see some people thinking it’s basic, I think it’s unique! It used to be my signature scent, but I lean more towards more youthful/gourmand scents these days like the viva la juicy line for example. This is something I wear when I’m around an older crowd or my fiancés parents haha.

liushanbao

i’ve never smelt bal d’afrique to give a comment about their similarities, but i do think this is a lovely fragrance! somehow it does remind me of a pink perfume, it’s sweet yet clean and airy. i do think it’s a pretty smell that’s easy to wear everyday, special enough to be signature worthy too

Miu Miu Twist is a very likeable, pretty, feminine fragrance. Initially, it is grassy (which I like). citrusy, and fresh. It then settles into a softer powdery musk with slight hints of the opening. It remains clean and refreshing throughout the wear time. The perfect office fragrance and great for the gym. You could wear it whenever you want to smell light, fresh, and clean. I doubt this fragrance would offend anyone.

But unfortunately, its performance is abysmal, even with massive over-spraying. After two hours, you can barely detect it on the skin. After fourish hours, it still lingers a bit on clothes, but you really need to search for it. Luckily I got my bottle heavily discounted, so I don't mind over-spraying and topping up throughout the day, but I still find it very annoying.

I would love Miu Miu Twist if it were longer lasting and had decent projection. It is a beautiful and unique scent, and I enjoy it when I can detect it. But I would not recommend buying it at full price unless you are okay with having only one hour of decent wear time with your fragrance.

Selenity

This perfume is very pretty smelling but no lasting power on me and I’m a heavy sprayer, including clothes. This smells familiar. I can’t decide if it’s YSL Libre vibes or something else. There’s a note I can’t name (maybe cedar, maybe pepper) that gives it this edge that’s refreshingly clarifying. It just goes. If it were more intense, I’d buy it in spite of the familiarity. Glad I only bought a travel size. If Miu Miu worked on giving this more presence, it could easily be a viral perfume.

theoddowl

Peppery! I blind sprayed this from a group of samples I had and I was shocked by it. It smells just like black pepper to me. After about a half hour, it’s dried down to something a little more woodsy and musky but I still smell pepper. I can’t detect any floral notes. It leans more unisex than feminine, in my opinion. It’s not what I personally like, but it’s not an awful scent or anything.

RandomPatterned

I can understand the comparisons of Twist to Bal D'Afrique, Perfect, and less so, to Place Vendome. They all have a subtle easy comforting vibe. Twist seems a bit spicier on the dry down than Bal D'Afrique but both are a nice blend of freshness with the florals, musk, and base taming the citrus. Bal D'Afrique seems a bit warmer to me while both are balanced with the light musk, amber, and wood. Perfect is fruitier from the rhubarb and Place Vendome has obvious powder. Perhaps it's the apple blossom in Twist which makes it a mood lifter for me. I think it's suitable to wear Spring - Fall on moderate temperature days.

Candylover666

This is soooo good!
I have to admit that the only reason I bought this is because I’m obsessed with Miu Miu and the insanely pretty bottle design but as a sweet gourmand fragrance lover I did not expect to like this so much.
It’s juicy and sweet but I a non cloying way, very clean and pretty.
I mostly smell the pink pepper, apple blossom and cedar in this perfume, after an hour or two it starts to give an impression of a cologne so I think this is a feminine leaning unisex scent.
The only bad side about this perfume is that it doesn’t last very long. If you want it to last at least 5 hours you HAVE to overspray, and I mean like really really overspray.
It’s a very versatile scent and you can easily wear this to work, on a date or on a night out.
That’s the beautiful versatility of Miu Miu Twist.

saejin

All I smell when I spray this is pepper! From freshly sprayed to an hour later, 99% of this scent is just peppery to me. If I really get my nose in there I can pick up the smallest hint of musk and violet, but overall I don’t get any of the notes listed and it’s sad. The peppery scent is still nice but not what I was looking for. The bottle is simple yet gorgeous though so I’m not too upset!

PrincessCoconuts

I looooove this! The violet is super subtle. I love violet in theory, but usually in practice it turns super sweet cloying and old ladyish on my skin. Somehow it works in this one! This is a light and classy one, pretty long lasting and stays close to the skin.

LisaBonitaCarter

Lovely scent, it smells like a combination of Bal d’ frique and Mojave Ghost.

snopea

this is really pretty. on me it’s a woody, powdery citrus and violet scent. easy breezy everyday vibez

Reminds me personally a lot of Bleecker Street by Bond No 9. Read my „review“ on it here also:

✨So, it was summer 2005 and I was a freshly married 19 year old girl in Serbia…My 25 old husband was wearing one of those cheap flankers you could buy on the markets in Novi Pazar, they had replicas to mostly all of the currently popular perfumes. It was a slightly sweet, fresh and long lasting smell I liked, but whenever he wore it I thought of another woman and that he‘s maybe cheating on me (he wasn’t or I don’t care, because I wasn’t whilst we’ve been together).
Fast forward to 2022, I am wearing MIU MIU Twist-which is a flanker of Bond No. 9‘s Bleecker Street to me-and I do not know who my now ex-husband is dating or who I‘ll be next with-maybe I was just „smell-traveling“ into the future…😉
May God bless us all, let’s all be more in the moment and enjoy the now! 🫶

Cogniaux

Meh. Smells peppery to me? Like peppery fruit. An absolute miss for me. But the bottle is verrrrry cute so it looks good on the shelf

LesGirls

As soon as I put this on, I thought, "Fantasy by Britney Spears." It dried down into something totally different and fruity that doesn't go in a completely opposite direction the way that Fantasy does. But side by side, on first spray: Fantasy all the way.

Leolia

Smells nothing like Bal’dafrique.
It’s like freshly cut grass on my skin.
No thanks.

lnoskin

I got a decant of this and fell in love with the scent. However, my skin eats it up completely. I used almost half of my 8ml decant in one use and it faded within an hour.

Edit: I ended up buying a 50ml bottle for cheap and overspray and love. Last time I wore it I got multiple compliments asking what it was.

MrsTefee

Just received this today and I really like it! Its a light, slightly sweet (like white sugar) and musky with a hint of woody notes in the background. Its wonderful and light enough for all seasons I think.

chicagogirl

I just love the vibe of the Miu Miu brand and that is why I blind bought on ebay. It instantly reminded me of a perfume I've smelled before when I first sprayed it. Then it hit me!! It totally has a tiny bit of the vibe of Fantasy by Britney Spears. Believe me it's nowhere near as sweet as Fantasy and it is unique in its own right. But it still has elements of it. Actually, its initial notes are just like the drydown of Fantasy. It's like is a way less sweet, less gourmand version of it with more peppery, more woody notes and musk. It has a sweet warm cozy vibe but the woody notes and fruity notes keep it fresh.

Rcates78

This one is different from many of the other fragrances in my collection, which I like, but I will admit it's not a favorite. It reads pretty syrupy to me, and I'm finding that's the case for me with most perfumes that list "berries" among their notes. The apple blossom would be nicely balanced by the slightly bitter bergamot, and the demure violet note, if it weren't for the berry and musk that smother them both. Any one of the base notes could lean more or less toward sweet on it's own (cedar can lean toward resin or caramel, amber can lean airy and dry or thick and melted, tonka can lean gourmand or more toward tobacco), but I find they all mix nondescriptly into the syrupy soup of Twist and only amp up the sweetness to 11. I see previous reviewers have likened it to berries in the woods, a picnic in a forest....I get more baker in an Old World-style kitchen, working at a vast butcher block and cedar island, pumping pastries full of jammy berry mixes, covering each batch in a thick layer of crystallized sugar, while a wood-fire stove/oven roars behind him. So I guess for me, pink amber = berry pastries. Twist has interest, and depth, and staying power for HOURS, but unfortunately, I find it a little too cloyingly sweet for my preference.

KatanaBluebird

I got a sample in a Sephora order and raved about it. My husband bought it for me for Christmas the year it came out.

I haven't charged through it like I though because Miu Miu and I are on a journey. I need to be in the right mindset to wear this one. I couldn't wear it to work because I was terrified I would associate this scent with a toxic work environment but now that I am starting a new job I find myself reaching for my fragrances more.

I'm looking at the notes and I see no pepper. I swore there was pepper! I can smell it quite distinctly. Maybe the cedar note is messing with me, though I have discovered I love a good woody note and I'm no longer afraid of them. It's a peppy scent, not cloying or sensual. It's great for daytime wear. I just feel like myself when I wear it. The bottle is gorgeous. It's becoming an easier reach for me nowadays.

If this scent was a scene it would be sunshine on a clear day, having a picnic on a wood picnic table, seated with your favorite people. Easy going, laughing, relaxed.

Artio

such a beautifully blended woodsy berry scent on my skin. longevity is also great

harperpeshhe

This wasn’t even on my radar. I picked this up post Christmas as an unwanted gift quite cheap and based on reviews here blind bought it. What a win! It’s slightly sweet and fruity, something I normally avoid, but there’s just something magic about the combination of these notes and depth this fragrance has that just keeps drawing me in. Twist is truly uplifting and a happy scent.

Soozatska

Ok I am HOOKED on this pink amber accord. Something about this fragrance, and actually the whole line, really dazzles. Maybe the woods are just so precisely calibrated in the base that they offer the fruity and floral notes in the opening just the right amount of prickly grounding. Whatever it is, I find the impression to be one of magic.

Does anyone else get caught up in the seasonal hype cycle of perfume? For example, I was very excited to wear heavier, amber-woodsy and vanilla frags when it got colder...but now that I started wearing them, I've been craving the freshness of more floral and traditionally "spring" associated frags. Twist really strikes the balance for me, with this delightful pink amber accord playing gently with the cedar, amber, and tonka anchoring it. It's a love for me!

ReminiszentSzent

It smells 70-80% similar to Bal D’Afrique. I own both of them. I bought Twist first (few months prior), then when I first smelled Bal D’Afrique I immediately thought that I was sure I had smelled this kind of scent before. Then when I got home, I smelled every fragrances I had and compared them to Bal D’Afrique and I then found that the scent that I was familiar with was this Miu Miu Twist.

Sparkleball22

Miu Miu Twist has a sweet and woodsy apple pie vibe to me. It’s very crisp and sweet, but the sparkly, peppery cedar makes me love this so much.
Once fall hit, this perfume bloomed for me. The dry down is divine. It lasts on me a long time- about 8 hrs.
I really missed my discontinued Chloe See, and this is the first perfume that nearly hits that apple blossom spot. I think it is a crowd pleaser and makes me feel happy and uplifted.
Update: every time I wear this, an hour later I catch whiffs of the most glorious, sweet, spicy dry down and I’m so glad I put this on. I guess my nose doesn’t go blind to this one like it does a lot of other perfume and to me that’s a winner! I wear perfume for ME

Hallon

The cedar overpowers and make it to masculine for my taste. Love the bottle and the freshness however.

zaikazaika

I actually don't think this smells like Bal d'Afrique that much - Twist is sweeter and girlier. Apple blossom and red berries overpower just about everything else in the composition for me.

A good fragrance to try and to have if you like those top notes listed but if I need to chose between this and Byredo, I'd go with the latter.

SimplyShandi

Due to the notes, I wouldn't have bought this normally, but it was $3 for a big bottle at Tjmaxx, so I couldn't pass it up. It's actually nice, and I like the citrus factor. It's not a love for me, but it's not offensive and I'll definitely wear it

RSB28

Would not know there was violet in this. This just smells like an elegant, slightly fruity floral. It is so delicate and feminine and beautiful! Just a shame about the longevity, barely lasts for more than an hour

miriamcarothers

I’m all about the blind buy scores from Marshall’s and for $20 this is a winner!
Echoing previous comments- it smells exactly like the listed notes, is very pretty, inoffensive, creamy and not screamo sweet.
The bottle is fabulous. Perfect for summer!

RainbowGirl

Weirdly enough, this is my favorite tonka bean fragrance. Tonka bean is not the main note, but it is one of the main notes, and paired with the fresh bergamot, then the powdery florals, and then with the cedar... it is magnificent. Not your typical warm sweet tonka bean. This is an uplifting fresh sweet tonka bean. A very unique scent. Love at first sniff.

Also, ladies, let's not age our fragrances, and help society try to box us into what is acceptable, expected, polite, and "good girl." We are not dogs in need of acceptance and praise, and we are not fucking predictable. We are badass WOMEN, and we will wear whatever the fuck we want, at whatever age we want.

Support each other.

As long as we do that, we'll be respected at any age.

girlieeusername

bought this at marshall's, blind buy. initial spray you def get the apple blossom, beautiful floral, the bergamot isn't too sour or bitter. dries down sweet, not a fruity sweet, but a candy one? dunno where it comes from, but very nice and inoffensive. good daytime spring or summer. a bit on the young side, but not juvenile. like a nice young 20-something type of perfume. for the price i paid, i'm pleased! the packaging is nice too.

Repogirl

Picked this up at Marshalls today and it smells exactly like the notes listed. I enjoy the cedar, tonka, and amber in this. It's interesting to me in a good way. It's not a love but I do like it. There's a creaminess in it that I enjoy.

vkn1988

Immediate spray smells like alcohol, then the berries come through and eventually dries down to violet, musk, and cedar. My nose is not getting amber or tonka. I didn’t mind it at first, but def not a fan now as it smells like a super faded generic old spice cologne on me after a few hours.

Balletflowers

This smells almost exactly like The Body Shop Shea which I also own. It’s also masculine, not very feminine. It’s nice. I don’t think someone would have something similar in their collection because it’s so unique. The notes that stick out to me the most are cedar, bergamot, musk & violet. Miu Miu definitely has the best atomizer as it sprays finely, almost airy, not that harsh squirt.

aomhusky

I really like the opening of this one, fresh green floral note with a little note of citrus, really refreshing. But when it drys down it's more citrus on me I don't know why to me it's like the lighter version of Tiffany & Love For Her. It lasts only 1-1.5 hours on me in the building with air conditioner without leaving skin scent but lasts more with the note getting stronger in hot humid area.

Deefatani

I blind bought this perfume and I just got it in the mail, I totally agree with the reviews down below, this smells like Britney Spears fantasy. But a tad bit cologny if you know what I mean. I mainly got it for the beautiful bottle tbh. As for the scent I wasn’t the biggest fan of fantasy therefore I don’t like this one.. but I’ll keep testing it..
I sprayed it on my hand 10 minutes ago and I can barely smell it.. what a disappointment.

Liz70

Youthful, fresh and extremely day friendly (office). Really reminds me of Gucci Flora "Gorgeous Gardenia" but a bit woodier and muskier with heavier amber notes. Don't get me wrong though, there is nothing heavy about this at all. Very feminine and summery. Perfect for walking hand in hand with your love to go to get an ice cream.

Soozatska

Oh my, I love the blending of this one!! The apple blossom note is really prominent, but it evolves quite a bit. The opening is a tangy, mouthwatering, tart Green apple. Then the red berry notes enter the picture, rendering it a bit sweeter. This phase actually reminds me of a real throwback- anyone remember those scratch and sniff teddy bears from the early 90s?! It's a candy type scent for sure, not overbearingly sweet though, just fragrant with smooth plastic-y undertones (normally I would hate anything that reminded me of plastic, but this is really subtle). Midway through, the cedar and amber take over, although the candied fruit notes are still playing in the background, representing the "Twist" in this fragrance. It's sublime!

RoseGolden

It smells like a yummy fruit salad!

SeauxGood

Miu Miu Twist is a light, sweet Springtime fragrance. On the initial spray, the apple blossom and red berries give it a sweetness reminiscent of RL Romance, but then there’s a bit of bite from the bergamot. The dry down is a woodsy-powder combo with some warmth added from the amber and the tonka bean. It’s upbeat and casual without smelling frivolous, the kind of scent I’d wear to work. (I’m a 4th grade teacher.) Although it’s not particularly “seductive,” it does have a calming powdery quality that would be good for bedtime wear. Overall, I really like this.

Cookietookie215

Sprayed this on and I Automatically knew it smelled like Britney's Fantasy.. It smells great tho! This is Fantasy without too much of the sugary cupcake accord, the sweetness is provided by the 'natural' notes. It in fact smells more similar to another dupe of Fantasy, which is Snooki's self named fragrance.

Sweet, fruity, and woodsy. Wanna same money just get those two fragrances listed above.

mollypop

After several hours of wear this has settled into a sweet, amber-ey musk on me and, while still there, it's close to the skin. The musk has a whisper of baby powder to me, albeit faint. It was indecipherably sweet upon opening and is seemingly inoffensive. Seems casual to me, and because it lacks a little in projection, I think it's fine for summer heat. The image it conjures for me is a woman who possibly doesn't work outside the home, a loving mom with young kids involved in activities, driving between market, school and sports in t-shirt and jeans. This is her daytime - not when she's dressed to go out. I'll keep the sample for throwing in a purse cosmetic bag, but won't make room for a full bottle.

muahah

Warm, deep, sweet. Fruity, amber, citrus, wood and some sweetness. Basically it's what notes say. Seems sophisticated probably due to wood and amber notes, also citrus have it's place. Similar to VR BonBon fruity candy vibe, but this have more wood and citrus notes. In my opinion this Miumiu is more complex, interesting and grownup (mentally) than Bonbon. After hours it turn in to soft spicy. Lasts about all day.

bronni666

i just bought this and at the moment, this is my favourite. i cant stop sniffing myself, i have literally bathed in a veil of this vibrant, uplifting and joyous fragrance. feels like springtime and it makes me happy.
but everyone is right.. it doesnt last, but i can reapply whenever i want with my new 100ml gorgeous bottle.

KatieKeene

This is nice, but nothing really special. I do smell the apple blossom at the beginning and it does smell sweet and fresh, which I like, but I'm pretty hard-pressed to find any woody, musky, or tonka notes. It didn't last long on me. I got a sample, so I'm ok with that...I would possibly buy it if it was heavily discounted, like at TJ Maxx or Burlington or something because I do like the bottle.

LadyIva

This is a fairly typical girly gourmand. I’m supposed to smell apple blossom and whatnot, but instead I can only smell some nondescript fruity and floral notes, tonka and amber. Reminds me of a Naomi Campbell fragrance. Silage is moderate, longevity rather poor. It’s a nice scent if you’re into light gourmands, but nothing more than that.

elkesandri

I just love how it changes, from fresh citrus fragrance, to a cozy, warm, gourmet fragrance. On my skin top notes, quickly fade but the end notes stay for all day, those are really long lasting. It's a fragrance that the more you use, the more you like. Now I love it!!

titan07

This fragrance is light and tropical. It's an enjoyable and fresh fragrance on my skin. Unfortunately, it doesn't last more than 2 hours so I don't think it would be worth it to purchase.

mv88

I had this and liked it, but ended up giving it to my mom.
I much prefer Miu Miu L'eau Rosee, with its (what i smell as) grapefruit pepper notes. Miu Miu Twist is actually similar to it, but with apple instead of grapefruit, and only the faintest pepper.

It's pretty and fruity sweet, but just not "me."
So I'm the L'eau Rosee girl and my mom is the Twist girl.
I think it's kind of a cute idea for best friends, sisters or mom & daughter to do these 2 fragrances when you hang out together, because they compliment each other, rather than competing or clashing.
It's an idea that I've heard and think is cool for couples, so why not buddies, too?

colorfulmess

Such an amazing scent at first, the bergamont is absolutely singing in this. Unfortunately that burns off in about 10 minutes and you're left with the typical Miu Miu signature scent. On me it smells picklish in the same way SJP Stash does. This was so close to a LOVE but now its just meh.

Helen_Lucy

Smells EXACTLY like Dolce & Gabbana Original cologne. Absolutely classic and sexy. Great on a woman or a man. LOVE.

I<3Perfume

It smells like Britney Spears Fantasy.

thecoffeeslayer

Twist has a sweet floral opening. The bergamot and sweet florals are very strong at first. (The opening really reminds me of a sweet ‘Plumeria/Frangipani’ fragrance from the 90s. I wish I could remember the name...) The the woods seem sugar coated. It mellows out and becomes softer after the first 30 minutes. The woods are dryer, the bergamot less sweet. I think that, if my skin chemistry worked with amber, that this would be really great and warm. It’s not complicated. It’s a good fragrance.

I am thinking I may try this layered over a spicier fragrance, as this fragrance smells wonderful when I’ve been eating wasabi snacks or a curry.

Albiretu

Extremely similar to my beloved Bal D'Afrique. This is a good designer alternative for those who don't want to invest in Byredo. To me it smells very similar.
I personally stocked up on Tonka Wood by Zara Home which was created by the same perfumer of Bal D'Afrique and I'm good. For those who couldn't do that now that it's discontinued, Miu Miu Twist is a good alternative.

Airy, beautiful, could easily become someone's signature just like Tonka Wood and Bal D'Afrique.

DarlingNikki

This is interesting! I sprayed it on a clean tissue and it instantly reminded me of those Wet Ones hand wipes, the ones in the yellow packaging, which are citrus scented. Now, I'm typically not one for citrus based scents, but I'm finding that I actually enjoy the smell of bergamot and this has it in abundance. I'm not sure I would buy a full bottle of this, but the sample does smell promising.

animal lover 20

I would like to apologize for this message, because this is not a review. I am really interested about this perfume but unfortunately it has not arrive at the Greek market yet. Among the previous flankers I mostly enjoyed the rosee type but I can not say that I was thrilled with its duration. I would appreciate it, if any other member of the group who had the chance to smell it, could give me some more information about it.
Update: I managed to find it online and I blindly purchased it. What a bummer....It is quite sweet, because of the bergamot note I expected it, to be quite fresh but unfortunately it is not...the notes are quite deceiving.....I still prefer the rosee type/flanker than this one....

MLK

I tried this in store and cannot stop sniffing my arm! This is amazingly addictive. I think it’s the amber, cedar wood combination that makes it so creamy, easy to wear fresh scent. I am lucky to have got a free sample in store, which I will use up this week for sure. Will be purchasing this in full size bottle ASAP, I can’t wait. This is a real hit for me, feels like sunshine and rainbows in a bottle, love it!
Also, l love the bottle design.
Update, I bought the full size bottle, body lotion and shower gel, that’s how much I love this fragrance.

mapache

Tested today @ Sephora

At first it comes off as a "been there, done that" type "meh" scent. But actually, as it developes from typical fruity/floral, it changes to floral/light amber/musk-ish
Low projection...IMO...nice smelling everyday scent. The bottle is quite pretty too....just sayin....

Veracska

So its been little over a week since my first review. At first I thought it’s a generic scent and nothing special. I think I was wrong.. I keep reaching for it every day and I absoluty love it. Its fresh, sweet, cold and warm at the same time. It’s amazing, whish it lasted longer❤️

The bottle is amazing too!

Miu Miu Twist is à juicy warm scent, the apple blossom dominates pretty much throughout, then the pink amber comes into play., and this phase is so pretty, smooth, almost dreamy..real feminine...i find it more suited for spring and summer, not sure the cold winter is best for this scent...now, I like it, it does remind of See by Chloe, but I prefer Twist, it has something more interesting..it is kind of young in a way, but I think anyone can pull it off...I will revisit it in the spring..I expected maybe more complex, more grown up...it is gentle and soft, but it lingers nicely on my skin...the animalic spicy vibe is non existent to my nose.., pretty, now not sure it is a love!

I blind bought a large bottle from Sephora. I disagree with the review that this is generic and that it doesn’t last. It has a lovely apple scent and then the accord that they are calling a “pink amber accord”. Omg it’s amazingly wonderful. It’s sweet in all the right ways. Balanced and not too sweet. It smells like edible fruity vanilla even though vanilla is not listed by itself. There isn’t any melon either but the top notes made me think of apple and watermelon. I love the ABSENCE of patchouli. I’ve been having a very hard time with different patchouli’s lately, I’ve been getting nauseous from them. So this is a welcome relief. Perfect for spring. Not overwhelming- sillage is mild but it can be worn during the day in spring. It just makes me think of spring. I suppose I can wear it now, too but it’s like spring in a bottle. Very cheerful and feminine. Something about it reminds me of Chanel Chance eau tendre - very delicate and pink and feminine and simply beautiful.

Regarding the bottle. At first I saw the bottle in photos and I didn’t like the look of it. It just seemed so stuffy and classical compared to the mod Miu Miu designs. However, in person, I simply live it on my vanity. It’s like a Classical Greek urn or something. Very elegant and the base is heavy solid glass.

I like to use other fragrances as a point of reference. I would say if you like daisy, Chance eau tendre, Miu Miu eau rosée then you will probably like this very much.

I blind bought This today and I cannot express how disappointed I am. I like the first 10 minutes and after that I only smell grapefruit with lots of sugar.. lucky it last for a short time, after two hours the scent is gone..

Update: it reminds me of viktor & Rolf flowerbomb bloom. I start to enjoy it, but still think it’s totally generic and nothing special.

Stunning bottle, as always. Really love what Miu Miu is doing with their line so far :)
