Lady Emblem Elixir by Montblanc is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women. Lady Emblem Elixir was launched in 2016. Top notes are Litchi, Pepper and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Damask Rose, Iris, Orange Blossom and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Patchouli and Sandalwood.

The feminine version of the fragrance Emblem from Montblanc - Lady Emblem - was launched mid-2015 as a sophisticated scent with a floral - fruity - woody character. In November 2016, the new edition comes out - Lady Emblem Elixir - as a bold version of the original and a new interpretation of the scent of roses. With pepper, litchi and mandarin as the opening notes, the fragrance develops in the heart aromas of Damask rose absolute, jasmine, iris and orange blossom, while the base is intensive and woody, with patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla.

The bottle design is inspired by the diamond and colored in a darker shade of pink gold. The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Interesting spicy scent. Smells elegant but doesn’t last much.

I get sharp clashing white florals on opening - I thought this was a failed blind buy, but to my great surprise and delight after 30mins it settles into a warm, delicately sweet, lightly spiced, musky blended flower potion. I layer this with a lemony citrus perfume to tame the opening.

Exactly what I wanted the original to smell like!
This is a such a feel good perfume and all of the notes work harmoniously. The top notes seem to last until drydown and envelope the rest of the notes. It works so well from beginning to end.
For me, this delivered on all fronts- bottle, scent, projection and sillage. I've been so tired of picking apart perfumes and having a note or two disrupt a scent. With this one I just sprayed and enjoyed. It's lovely.

I'm a sweet perfume junky. I don't find this one overly sweet. All I get from this is rose. I do not like rose. Or so I thought.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me but all I wanna do is bathe myself in this. But I don't like ANY floral rose?

Picked this up at SDM sale rack and so glad I blind bought this. I'm super picky and I have way too many scents, most of them I don't like. But I really like this one.

Projection is pretty good. Lasts awhile. $19 is a great deal.

This is a warm sweet vanilla perfume to those who get nauseous from over sweet- vanilla perfumes like myself you might want to try it first, i mix it with waterlily perfume to break its edge a bit, merely tolerate it wouldn't buy it again, and doesn't last longer than an hour

I love it! Wonderful smell!

BabogTheCat

It's a 'meh' from me.

Smells like pencil shavings and a cheapo fruity musk a teenager would wear. Though that sounds horrendous, it's actually not terrible, but I don't know... it lacks sophistication. It's smells pleasant-ish in a drug store candle kind of way.

I've tried three new frags, this being one. Frustratingly close to the skin, barely a bean of sillage, such a shame as the notes are not bad

I always loved sweet, powdery perfumes and this one I simply fell in love with at the first sniff! It was a blind buy - no regrets! Rosey-vanilla with a hint of jasmine makes me feel sexy and romantic at the same time. Will be buying it again!

I was really surprised with how much I liked this - I don’t usually like very “floral” or “woody” fragrances at all. Lady Emblem Elixir on me opens with a lovely fruity freshness, the lychee and mandarin is delicious. Then it drys down to a lovely softly sweet rose with a touch of vanilla, it’s really gorgeous. I can’t stop sniffing my wrist. I don’t get any woodiness or powder at all. I don’t know about projection but longevity on my skin was 2-3 hours.

***Update***Bought myself a bottle and I love it. The rose is fruity and gentle, the lychee is more a floral lychee than the synthetic blast in scents like La Nuit Tresor, and the dry down is a lovely soapy rose and vanilla. There is a bit of an alcohol blast at the beginning, especially if you spray it super close on to skin/clothing, better to give it a little room of a couple of inches.

A very generic warm (but not sickly sweet) floral - I get rose, jasmine and vanilla. It is lovely, but there's no 'hook' or 'catch' that makes it stand out. Ok longevity and sillage, but I was expecting more from an EDP. The bottle and stopper are beautiful, but the fragrance itself is not impressive enough for me to want to re-buy.

It's nice, not outstanding, just nice. Good quality of course.
A Rose, slightly peppery, slightly boozy, slightly sweet.
I wouldn't call it an Elixir though.

The bottle on the other hand is stunning!

I never really care about bottles just as long as they're good quality and I do prefer the minimalistic ones like Narciso Rodriguez, but I had to comment on this one.

The bottle is a work of art and the stopper is glass.

Guess I'm keeping it for the bottle, not the juice :)

Nice one. Peppery rose with a hint of vanilla when opening, and the dry down is a biiiit masculine due to the patchouli. Long-lasting, moderate sillage. It reminds me of many others... it could use a little more personality.

Top notes are very pleasant, but after a while it is hard to define. Not bad, just strange.

Well i bought this today and I own Lady Emblem too. It is a very smooth eau de parfum, I think that the word elixir is too much for this one. Rose is dominant in the beginning and a soapy feel from the middle till the end. IMO you can actually smell the roses better in this one then in the original version.
The base in this one brings out the roses better. It' s a very feminine soft floral scent that stays close to the skin, it's classy and sweet not vanillic sweet. I believe it would have being much better if it was a bit stronger. I expect more power from an "elixir". Overall a quite nice edp with character for the flowery kind of lovers!

COME ON PEOPLE

If the LOVE, LIKE AND DISLIKE levels are all at their limit, then please say why...
Why so many dislikes? What isn't working in it?
Why so many likes and loves, what is good about it?
Are there any other perfumes that one can compare this to for reference good or bad?

Pleeeease :-{

A warm rose scent with sandalwood and vanilla.
Light fruity scent in top notes.
It doesn't stand out to me the way a fragrance should, it's quite typical and neutral.
The original Lady Emblem is much better, because it's lighter and more fruity.
Not very impressive.
