Signature by Montblanc is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Signature was launched in 2020. Signature was created by Guillaume Flavigny and Natalie Gracia-Cetto. Top note is Clementine; middle notes are Magnolia, Ylang-Ylang and Peony; base notes are Vanilla, White Musk and Benzoin.

Montblanc's new women's perfume is called Montblanc Signature, announced as an oriental-floral and musky fragrance intended for unforgettable women, "authors of their own story." The face of the campaign is Diane Ducret, a French-Belgian writer.

Signature plays with contrasts of opulent and sensual vanilla and the "clean" facets of white musk. Fresh fruity notes of clementine at the top are combined with a floral heart of magnolia and ylang-ylang. The composition are composed by perfumers Guillaume Flavigny and Natalie Gracia-Cetto.

"With this appeal and elegance, I wanted to infuse more light, more breath and transparency", explains Natalie Gracia-Cetto.

Top notes: clementine
Heart: magnolia, peony, ylang-ylang
Base: benzoin, white musk, vanilla

The opalescent bottle of perfume, the white lacquering on the inside, is a tribute to the iconic inkwell, part of Montblanc's heritage. It was designed by Montblanc's own Mark Eisen. The gold details are borrowed from the Meisterstück writing instrument.

Montblanc Signature is available as a 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

Montblanc is a citrus airy milk. Think of a glass of vanilla plant based milk along side a tiny gluten free lemon bar. That’s what this perfume smells like. Very unique, a healthier alternative for gourmand lovers. 🍋🍶

Treachaseff

This mixed with Aerin Hibiscus Palm is one of the best things I've smelled in a long time, and long-lasting too.

Erianwyn

I had been resisting trying this for a long time because there are two listed notes I really struggle with - magnolia and ylang-ylang. I genuinely don’t pick up either of them. I get the clementine, musk and vanilla, which is somehow blended into a beautiful, white cloud. It’s a sweet, slightly lactonic fragrance, the kind of thing I like for a cosy rest day at home. I wouldn’t wear this to work, it’s too gentle. It’s a winner for me.

Glyceryl

Very straightforward in that this is vanilla and musk. Smells clean and simple, slightly lactonic.

Overall this isn’t for me, I like something with more of a punch. I will be using this as a layering fragrance with something fruity.

steelfeet

When I first tried this perfume, I really liked the fresh vanilla fragrance of it. My issue comes as I go through the day with this on -- it becomes sweeter the longer it's on, and by the end of the day I am beyond ready to stop smelling it. That said, points for longevity! I think this one is ultimately not my style, especially the drydown.

Mahsa ranjbar

To me this is very much like AG cloud but sweeter and without the plasticy feel I will purchase a full bottle 😊

Nichole FZA

Can't believe I have this for more than a year but only finally tried it today. Feminine in a bottle. I would imagine a happy, always smiling- the kind of smile that lights up the room, bubbly ladies' signature scent. I kinda like it, not my style but I don't mind wearing it to work, brunch and maybe even to church.

You know what, I am actually surprised that I like this perfume 😁

swedishmilk15

Feminine, warm, cosy, and sweet. This could be an easy dumb grab, if I were into that. Stunning for winter. My man loves it! I don't find it "sensual," but HE does!

hotbaby1

This is so good. Great for spring. Starts sweet and exactly like CH GGB, but the dry down is more vanilla, it’s a soft, clean vanilla. Honestly, suitable for all seasons. It makes you feel pretty, lightly sweet, fresh and clean. I adore it. Good longevity.

KatelynMLovesPerfume

It smells to me just like Dove Dry Shampoo. That's all it reminds me of while using this sample. My nose can't smell the creamy lactonic vanilla until the dry down. Smells like flower-powder shampoo scent mostly to me. It's a good smell but not really my thing.

Lulu19

When you want to just smell fresh and clean for a decent price. Longevity not bad either.

ianmonet

An underrated gem.

I stumbled across this one completely by accident and it caught me off guard. Creamy and lactonic. Peonies and clementine slices drenched in vanilla milk. The clementine only appears on your skin, not paper, and only for a fleeting minute, which I love. Incredibly smooth transition from milk to peonies that flickers back and forth as a skin scent. A lot of people expect interesting perfumes to have a long list of notes and five different developments, but sometimes less is more and this is one of those occasions. It's so simple yet so different from all the milk perfumes I've smelled before. And for the price, MB Signature's performance is amazing, very strong and last forever. Versatile, can be used for any occasion, any season. I get why some people can see this as a shampoo/lotion smell, but I feel like this is a much more elegant, perfumy version of it. It has that nostalgic vibes but can also be quite sexy when used in the right occasion.

If you're looking for a complex scent composition that changes up by the hour, this is not for you. Me personally, I'm grabbing a fb of this. Smells so delectable that I just wanna drink the juice straight from the bottle.

hugsandmisses

A lactonic bae. Slightly sweet, like sweet milk ong. Some people said they grew out of this and I feel like I see why. This is a great scent for my nose, don't get me wrong. It was a literal love at first sniff. But, theres simply no layers, or like barely... Very nice fragrance that does not smell cheap, but it's not a perfume you will smell and have it on your mind all day.

minhleee

sweet milky vanilla smell, like shampoo. Great for the price

joanlouise

Something nostalgic. On first spray, it reminds me of kids’ shampoo. Specifically, the L’Oréal shampoos from decades past that came in bottles shaped like fish. We all thought “no tears” meant it wouldn’t burn when the suds got in your eyes. Alas, it did burn.

Anyway, very appealing for a generation that’s been obsessed with Y2K.

AnniePruana

Montblanc Signature is pretty. Clementine, milkiness and peony for a not too sweet lovely soft fragrance. This would be a nice gift I don't see anyone not liking it as it's easy and pleasant. This isn't the fragrance someone will notice you from across the room but if they come closer they will be glad they did.

Aquinabc

i think this one is good for nurses, others will barely smell it when you go to work. up close it smells pleasant and i actually like it, reminds me of dedcool milk but with a hint of orange. projection is very low if that's your thing.

Flexwithviv

This fragrance is nice, I adore the opening <3
However, when it dries down, there’s something that bugs me about it, I’m not sure what it is. I just don’t enjoy the drydown that much.
I’m not sure if it’s the benzoin or the peony as I started to notice that peony can be too floral for me. I understand what the person below means when she said it’s headache inducing, I feel like can easily fall into those groups of fragrances.

cookirey

Headache in a bottle. I gave it away. Strong, creamy scent, not in a good way. :(

Booski

Loved this on the paper tester in the store. But once I sprayed it on my skin, all I could smell was an overwhelming screechy lactonic metal. I LOVE lactonic smells, but imagine a robot taking a bath in mandarin soap. The smells just clash. Could've been so good but it gave me a steel migraine.

Kweilz

I’m selling my bottle - pls message me if interested. (Canada preferred) Have a wonderful day ❤️

K8lo

I just purchased this perfume after loving it at Nordstroms. A few people said "Dove body wash" and that is so funny because that is legitimately the first thought that came into my head when I tried this! And not in a bad way. Its out of the shower, fresh. Creamy, lactonic, musky vanilla. Ive never been into musk perfumes, but something about this hit the nail on the head.

Mont Blanc signature is comforting and inviting. Creamy & mysterious. I truly dont pick up on any fruit / clementine vibes. That dry down is pure hazy, musky vanilla cream. I cannot wait to test this perfume layered with others. She is a star on her own but her hazy fizz would be a great combo with other gourmand perfumes. Someone else below said this perfume is like wearing someone else's clothes or trying on a friend's perfume. Its foreign & unknown, captivating. I really like that interpretation. My first dip into musks and she did not disappoint. I keep smelling myself cause I just cant figure her out. Its a familiar scent but also very mysterious and cloudy.

Great lasting power on skin. Just 2-3 sprays cloaks you in a nice scent bubble ALL DAY!

EDIT: I had to update as Mont Blanc signature has become my GO TO scent. She is so comforting!! Signature scent worthy. So fresh, clean and creamy. There is so much hate on this one I had to share my intense love!!! My absolute favorite.

meemz22

Lactonic, peony spiked citronella candle in a bottle. No thank you!

Darcy1984

There's a note in here that is headache inducing. Not Mont Blanc's finest fragrance

kfenelon

Several reviews have mentioned a lactonic quality to this fragrance, but I don’t really get that. This is a subtle, slightly sweet, citrusy vanilla. It opens with a bright dose of clementine that quickly blends with the florals to give a lovely, lotion-like scent. Dries down to a subtle vanilla musk. Moderate projection and longevity on my skin. Lasted about 4 hours before disappearing. I do wish it lasted longer but it smells very lovely. Would be great for work or anywhere you want something inoffensive to wear.

Mimithenoynoy

This one smells so happy, uplifting, creamy, sweet to me. Mandarin in a lactonic base is just interesting, unique and I like how it smells. I like it more in warmer weather than colder weather. Its performance is quite good. It is also offered in a quite good point. I am happy to have it in my collection.

SaraZigova

Sour and metallic

Faeriecoma

Being in a hospital and using their soap! Sterile. Screechy. Metallic. creamy that doesn’t work with the rest. Unfortunately it’s a no for me. I was looking forward to this perfume almost blind bought a bottle but I found a vial on Fragrancenet. It was super hyped on TikTok a year ago I figured I’d try.

msquito

How great is this perfume? I literally cannot stop sniffing this thing.

Update: a bit too lactonic as it dries down. I would like it to be more musky. I prefer Pure Musc For Her by NR to this as a clean, musky perfume. Still, a really cosy fragrance.

Andreea2906

This perfume reminded me why I should stop buying perfumes based on reviews. It's sour and has some scratchy notes.. A scrubber for me, unfortunately :(

Sal1203

Let’s start with bottle:
Gorgeous white opaque thick bottle with a sturdy cap.
I feel like the bottle perfectly describes this fragrance.
It’s light, fresh, citrusy clean scent.
Name is apt too- imo it’s a signature scent worthy fragrance.

Juice:
juice is calmness in a bottle. It starts with a burst of citrus (from the clementine) and it stays throughout the day. Then the notes of the florals begin to appear, which settles into a beautiful sweet vanilla and musk.
Overall it’s a citrus clean musk scent with florals.

Longevity is good 8+ hours on me.
Projection is arms length.
For the price it’s so so worthy imo.
It’s a gorgeous scent.

Sanaahm

I wear this to the gym or when hopping out of the shower. It’s fresh, vanilla, sweet, clean yet milky with underlying citrus note! Just lovely! Nothing groundbreaking but special regardless! Not a dense fragrance and will linger around you! I got it for 40$ and I’m truly not complaining!

BrittanyXO_

Such a lovely fragrance, she’s both classy and latonic smelling all in one. A beautiful fresh clementine, vanilla musky perfume. Perfect for the office, or going about your business in the day. Not an offensive perfume by any means. It simply just smells pretty! Love her.

kpop_stan

Been meaning to drop a review on this one, and I'm finally prompted due to MariaElaina's right below mine as it perfectly sums up my own experience. It's pretty, it's pleasant, it's functional, but it doesn't wow me. I finally caved and bought it because it kept popping up in collection photos surrounded by fragrances I also own & love, so it felt like the universe was telling me "Just do it - you'll love it too!!!" but sadly it ain't so.

I definitely give it points for creativity though! It's a unique scent profile for sure, out of the 200+ fragrances I've tried so far, I can't think of anything that comes remotely close to resembling Signature.

MariaElaina

I thought I would love Montblanc signature a lot more, but I find it meh. It doesn't make me feel either type of way: the scent doesn't fall into a specific category: it's not cute, not pretty, not sophisticated, not mysterious. It's not super clean either, maybe because of the ylang-ylang. On the positive side, it's cosy and enveloping, like a skin scent. I mostly get the milky clementine opening, yellow flowers and musky, lactonic finish. I will most likely give my bottle who someone who enjoys this scent more.

yukikiki

So, SO beautiful. Just tried this today and it was love at first spray. The second those fragrant molecules hit my nose - I didn't even sniff the card yet - I loved it. Fruity floral vanilla with musk. Very creamy, elegant, smooth.

One user said orange milk hard candies. And yes it's similar. I also find it similar to the orange Creamsicles as well. It's delicious. Lactonic, creamy, soft, smooth, light.

But at the same time, the florals and musk help it become more "clean girl" fragrance than overly gourmand.

One of the most versatile scents out there.
Great for brunch, dates, work, everywhere, any time.

It's got just a touch more sweetness than allows you to be dressy and casual and both would work.

I've been trying to understand non foody vanilla with different fragrances and I'm so confused. It's like saying "non foody apple pie" or "non floral rose". I dont get it.

But yeah try this one. Signature scent worthy.

Baccarat Rouge and Glossier You had a baby.
A secret lovechild no one talks about because she has a life of her own, a fully grown personality and a very successful carreer.
But once you know the connection you cannot unsee the traits she shares with her estranged parents: the subdued elegance that hides a strong, crowd pleasing, egotic character. A college girl bound to become that famous french influencer Mlleghoul mentions in her review, maybe?
The bright tangerine and ylang-ylang scream to emerge from the poised elegance of sweet floral vanilla and musks.
In the wake of her sillage you can smell the shy fizzy-powdery vibe she got from teenage mommy Glossier and the elegant "Look at me. Now!" attitude from daddy Baccarat.
Does she look/smell like them? No. She doesn't want to.
Her "signature" has no surname.
At the moment she is conquering the parisian scene posing with cigarettes she doesn't smoke and secretly gorging on buttery pastries like she's nobody's daughter.
A contemporary Bella Baxter in disguise, both adult and child.
Totally fascinating.

hataruna

This started off in the okay realm for me. Inoffensive, mild, vanillic. I put it on for another test drive and today it smells like a Barbie doll that’s been mercilessly drenched in Nivea lotion. I don’t think I’m going to be able to finish my sample.

Kalimi

I got mine about a month ago---I love it and seems to me a "sharper" narciso rodriguez rouge. NRR is more powdery which characteristic of his perfumes. The lotion is also divine- smells exactly like the fragrance

hnk11

Opens citrusy, dries down as a creamy soapy musk. Great inoffensive scent. It’s not a gourmand vanilla at all. As fresh as vanilla and musk can get. Lasts decently.

ivadim

Ако търсите гурме, подминете. Въпреки усещането за сладолед, не е само това. Не е сладък в буквалния смисъл. Лактонен, пухкав от Божурище и мускус, леко кремест. Чист, леко закачлив, но все пак сериозен.

nekosign

I was looking for a simple fresh musc for my cosy night. I love wear perfumes to go to bed. After a good shower, this prolongs clean feeling for a long time. I love the citrus opening and doesn’t feel too powdery for me (I have a problem with powdery perfums, sometimes it made me too nauseous).
It isn’t expensive too. After buying a lot of niche, this one made the job. I am not a snob, I’m continue to look in designer world and this one its nice and ok.

Mikki.Lee95

I get such an amazing lactonic milky note from this. Like those little white milk bottle sweets? I love lactonic scents, and the majority that I have tend to be gourmand and rich, so I really love that this brings that element while feeling more fresh and clean. It's my ultimate "clean girl" scent for when I want to smell freshly showered and wholesome. Great for daytime occasions.

Ellyloveswednesday

I expected a gourmand vanilla but it pulled very soapy on me. Not my cup of tea.

Chuneyes

Ugly headache inducing, synthetic smelling perfume. All I get is the white florals and white musk, I get none of the creaminess or clementine which it needs to cut the strength of them white florals. I would not suggest but I know it's a lot of other people's favorite. If you are sensitive to florals, pass on this.

CeeTheAurtist

I like this fragrance a lot. It’s warm but also fresh. It reminds me of a crisp snowy winter night and I enjoy wearing it to bed or on days I’m feeling more casual. The scent is very lactonic and I like the pair it with Au Lait body butter. The price tag is an added bonus. I haven’t finished my first bottle but I would repurchase.

mlleghoul

Montblanc Signature is a weird one in that it's not really weird at all (it's pretty basic in composition and execution, right?), but it makes me feel some weird, twisty things. If that makes sense. It's a sort of echo-y, empty, fresh, woody,- dewy-floral melange that smells like you're using someone else's shampoo, a pearlescent lather of white musk more expensive than you care to consider. You're sleeping under a stranger's crisp white sheets, cool against your skin, the lingering dryer sheet scent of magnolia petals and fat peony blooms, their honeyed sweetness clinging to the fabric.

Maybe a friend of a friend has an apartment for rent while they're off being an influencer in France, so you're availing yourself of their expensively furnished, minimalist-chic accommodations for a few months in a particularly hip part of town. You spend a lot of time lonely in the apartment, trying on her silk blouses and cashmere sweaters, picking through her curated book selection of vintage Vogue and art photography books, and trying to get a sense of who she is. You're also stalking her social media a fair bit, and like a magpie hoarding glittering scraps, you gather up her turns of phrase and mannerisms, embellishing your own reflection with borrowed plumage. You begin ordering Door Dash deliveries under her name, all the culinary delicacies she'd artfully Instagrammed in her travels, noodles slick with sauce, and hundreds of tiny, bitter cups of coffee. You imagine her beside you, laughter echoing in the sterile silence, a phantom limb you ache to touch.

The line between mimicry and metamorphosis blurs. The creamy magnolia unfurls, a faded photograph of intimacies never shared. The luminous musk, clean and faintly powdery, becomes a shroud, a borrowed identity that both suffocates and intoxicates. This fragrance doesn't just smell like wearing someone else's perfume; it smells like the unsettling alchemy of becoming someone else. And in that borrowed skin, in that stolen life, the question lingers: just how far will you go to become more than just her shadow?

natalka999

This has been my favorite lately. Smells like mandarin orange very milky candy. Like that hard candy with milky stripes on it in orange flavour. I dont smell no laundry or anything like that at all. It is musky tho when it dries down but you stills mell the candy

LoveBitch246

Just beginning to sample this one. Off the bat, gives me a bit of a headache, so not great. I don’t understand those on here saying it is subtle because with just one spray it is quite potent. Smells musk and powder-heavy, unfortunately not getting a lot of citrus. Sweet, but not gourmand. I get the comparison to a body wash, lotion, or shampoo, but instead of clean and light I find it thick and heavy. Furthermore, it just doesn’t feel very “me” 🤷🏻
Of course, my husband (who seems to really enjoy the perfumes I don’t and vice versa) said “oh, that smells nice”
I’ll give it a bit more time…

Storm1980

This scent is genuinely enchanting, blending a velvety vanilla with a subtle hint of coconut on my skin. There's an enjoyable floral undertone as well. Undoubtedly, it stands out as one of the most exceptional fragrances I've encountered this year. The lingering aroma is perfectly balanced – a few people have even approached a bit closer to capture its profound essence.

mea194

I had heard this perfume was a vanilla gourmand so I was excited to try it! However I was surprised to find it’s more of a fresh/clean kind of scent. The vanilla is prominent but it is accompanied by a laconic slightly fruity scent. It smells like a dove body wash because of its creaminess, fresh, clean, and sweet notes. I really enjoy this scent and it’s different from a lot I have smelled so far. I think this would be great for work around others who may have sensitive noses. Also the price is much less expensive than I thought it would be!!

Pari88

This is very good. It smells exactly like the lemon energizing Dove body wash!

Something about this is very Americana.
I picture an older woman, a young adult or teen wearing this whilst they vacation at The Cape-they all have a happy go lucky nature, on the sporty side, are warm and nurturing to everyone they meet. They thrive in the sun and warm weather, they love to be outside around people and nature, and prefer to wear white and yellow

The reviewers on social media did not lie when they said it’s good, but it is not as they described.
This is a very soapy scent with hints of sugar- it almost reminds me of DG Sicily, although that one is deeper and more complex and tells a different story entirely.

Perfect for any age, a happy warm yet fresh scent, also a maternal quality to it.
Good for any season, although I believe it will shine best in daytime, in warm weather, allowing all of its facets to shine. Not dated at all with its scent profile-a classic.

Soapy, lemony, slightly sugary. Energizing, clean, warm, bright, happy, comforting. A perfect classic

venusianplasma

I love this fragrance.

I'm surprised that marshmallow isn't in the notes because it does have a strong marshmallow scent, in a good way. '

The blend of vanilla and white musk must create the marshmallow/whipped cream-esque scent.

Leelee00

This is a cold weather scent through and through. Sure, you can wear it any season but the cold, dry air makes this beauty come to life. Even in fall I don't get the creamy, lactonic goodness with the orange creamsicle vibe. I don't know why this fragrance is such a chameleon but it truly is. I think it might have something to do with the clementine & magnolia combo.

Also, this pairs gorgeously with Salt & Stone Bergamot and Hinoki body wash layered with Osea Anti Aging Body Balm and or oil.

Detman101

Welp....my time with this fragrance has been upended. Wife finally found out what I was wearing that she loved so much. I hadn't told her on purpose, lol. Welp, once she found out she cajoled the bottle out of my ownership. I'll have to get another sometime, but it's no rush.
I have my "Lanvin - Oxygene" that I can fall back on or I can just sneak sprays until I have a replacement...

perfumaphile

This perfume smells lactonic to me with a hint of jasmine. It would've been so nice if it was less synthetic. Like some other people have noted, it also smells familiar, but I have no idea what it reminds me of. It's a cute n cozy scent; I just wish they formulated this with better quality ingredients. I also don't smell any citrus in this, maybe it depends on the climate you live in what notes the air will pull out for you.

Mira20040313

When I first smelled it I got "musky fresh citrus". During the first few minutes of wearing it, that's exactly what it is - there's a soft mandarin scent on top. After a while it becomes a very clean, soapy, powdery scent. The vanilla is noticeable, but not as strong as the magnolia and musk.

krispotsari

perfect soap!

DreamInCream

This is a dreamy, creamy, comfortable fragrance with orange and soft musk.
Love this anytime of the day. Never offensive nor too strong, but it will be noticed when others are near. Even when I stop smelling it I get compliments. The bottle feels substantial and is beautiful. Signature scent worthy.

books.art.dogs

For the price, a great clean inoffensive fragrance. Moderate to long longevity with an intimate scent bubble. It's great for hot, humid weather or an office job where you don't want your perfume to project too much.
Personally, this fragrance didn't really live up to the hype for me since I had heard it described as a smooth gourmand, but to me it's quite soapy. I ended up giving it to my mom, who loves fresher citrus scents, and she loves it.

NootLlama

The similarity to GG blush is not high... At certain points the scent did resemble similar DNA but the Mandarine is definitely taking over. As for the price point the fragrance doesn't last sufficiently long (it becomes skin close and quite faint after 2 hours).
If you buy it as a stand alone perfume and not a CH GGB blush dupe, you might be in for a treat if you enjoy citrusy fragrances.

As for me, I have read one of the reviews that some of the notes develop in a metallic way and I couldn't help but continue smelling the metallic note after that... It smelled like blood to me :/

Maybe it's just my skin chemistry, but to me - I will refund this purchase.

thaochipnd

Wear it if you want to smell as adorable as a baby. I believe the guy next to you will go crazy for you. Vanilla, Musk and Clementine blend together to make it smell warm and rich like a glass of coconut milk.

Rating: 8/10, the price is quite cheap so I think it's worth the money

Dee97

I wrote a review on this a while back saying how much I wasn’t a fan of this. I think I’ve gone from a dislike to a “like”. When I got it a few months ago, it smelled too sharp but now I can smell the creaminess people talk about. It still smells a bit like Dove, but not in a bad way. It does smell clean but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a fresh smell. I’m going to try and play around with this a bit more and give an update. Also, for me it’s better suited in cooler weather as it’s a bit cloying in the heat IMO.

jdb_

I have no idea how anyone is upset by this. Very pretty, bright and cozy at the same time. Definitely a sweeter musk suited for cool weather. Powdery, clean, and feminine- not cloying or sharp. Clementine keeps it a little tart. It’s like a fluffy orange vanilla cloud truly! It reads a bit young so I’m not sure it’s my vibe but still loverly.

Ps picked up a sweater 3 days after spraying this and I got a whiff of skittles on it hehe 🌈

cutsie587

I had this perfume and wore it on and off for about 6 months and decided no more because it has a underlying metallic vibe. It reminds me of a ballpoint pen, which I did not enjoy.

Nina0nina

I thought i will love this 😭 but i HATE IT SO MUCH all i can smell is heavy dose of sweet citrus that comes from the clementine .absolutely NO vanilla or floral notes. No creamy or soft gentle smell what so ever !!! it literally smells like al baik wet napkin If you know you know 💀 also super cheap smelling
Update:I have been testing this one again for a few days and the smell definitely changed a little bit!! That annoying clementine note started to tone down alot more the longer I wear it. This one shocked me so much because I remember hating it so much lol 🤡 now i do smell the creamy dreamy goodness everyone is talking about. The citrus is still there but doesn’t bother me.wet napkins vibes kinda still there but not as much. People should keep this one for a while and revisit it again for sure !!! i think it’s a like for me as of now🩷🩷🩷🩷

Lives up to it’s name.

Smelled this yesterday when a local pharmacy had 60% off select fragrances. I was drawn to the bottle; classy, feminine, understated. The scent did not disappoint!
It’s smooth, cozy, clean, yummy, sophisticated!
Picture a poised woman in your office who lives in a nice neighbourhood with her mysterious smoking hot husband and golden retriever. Everyone in the office likes her because she’s mature and knows how to navigate professional relationships like second nature. She’s great at her job, she’s kind, she’s funny, she’s gorgeous, she’s happy. She has the most “perfect” life and has it all yet NEVER brags. THIS FRAGRANCE IS HER! Just so pleasant.
Very suitable for a wide range of ages, I’d say from early 20s and above. Some men could pull this off too in my opinion, as long as they like more “feminine” scents.

I’ve been looking for a fragrance like this one. One that makes me feel mature but not in an “old lady” type way. One that’s yummy but not overly sweet and sickly. One that screams sophistication but isn’t trying to be. One that tells people “I know who I am and I own it!” without being intimidating. One I can wear during brunch dates with the girls or at the office.
My new signature scent.

_Aerides

This scent felt so familiar from the very first time I tried it, maybe reminiscent of a body lotion or skincare product from way back. I really like this, however I usually don't like vanillas that much since they turn my stomach even if I like the scent; so far this is not cloying or heavy, but it's very vanilla. It has a clean vibe with a lactonic touch. Kinda reminds me of vanilla ice cream but the musk and citrus really stand out as well to balance the sweetness 🍊

It's a soft everyday scent, nothing scandalous; on me this projects a soft scent bubble for a couple hours before getting closer to skin (and muskier) for a total of about 4-5hrs. It might come across as "showered and moisturized with delicious smelling products", but that's a vibeee~. I think it can be pulled off on day and night 🌝

russianprincess98

Starts sweet but then transforms into something synthetic, metallic, heavy body lotion cream but in a chemically way... vintage musty vibe.

It's funny because I don't mind synthetic perfumes (I like a lot of them), but this perfume is the most synthetic perfume I have ever smelled.

Makes me feel nauseous unfortunately :,(

Gres

Got it as a present kinda sweet at first but then on my skin gets like syrupy and annoyingly sweet. Wouldnt buy it myself

clemmy

Obsessed by this underrated masterpiece.

toosimilar

First pleasant, then annoyingly sweet fruity scent

lexiipapada

This perfume is amazing. I just ordered the whole bottle. I sprayed it today on my wrist and at first, I got two hours of strong projection. It’s a beautiful powdery clean scent that in my opinion, smells exactly like cotton, it reminds me of the OG Dove deodorant too, plus the slight citrus. After two hours, I got to smell the dry down which is a beautiful fluffy and light vanilla, perfect for people who aren’t huge fans of disgustingly sweet vanilla notes, office appropriate and still sweet enough. I love the top notes and the dry down equally as much. For the price, it’s definitely worth it.

Emoody

‘It’s nice’ that’s it. Not something you would jump out of the chair for. I’ve smelled so many perfumes that smell like this in my life so it’s not unique to me whatsoever. It does smell exactly like the notes listed, I also detect a salt note which is not on the list.

WitchyStarlight

Obsessed with this scent. She starts out with a sweet burst of clementines before melting into the skin with a delicious vanilla (I even keep thinking it smells like a creamsicle, sometimes?). Feels like being swathed in a soft citrusy vanilla puffy cloud (even the bottle looks like that! Cute!).

I was just so afraid when I saw clementines as the top notes, thinking it was going to be a headache inducing screechy citrus scent. I was so very wrong. I would literally just want to snuggle in a blanket at home wearing this.

scent.2go

Too cloying, I feel sick when Im wearing it. I tried few times but it is so sinthetic and horrible.

missingbonnet

Surprisingly pleasing. To me it smells like fresh cooling powder and florals. Lovely scent!

As someone who doesnt like citrusy scents and has never had clementines, this doesnt register as citrus to my nose. Just a sweet smell mixed in with powder

Longevity is sadly on the weak side for me.

Oliviaswift

I made a fragrantica account just to tell you that this is the most vile and disgusting scent my nostrils have ever witnessed. I blind bought this (as I always do) and I barely know anything about perfume so I'm not gonna say anything about the notes and such. What I am gonna say is that I scrubbed my wrist with soap three times trying to get rid of the horrific smell and it didn't dissapear so now I have to put my left arm elsewhere until further notice. DON'T BLIND BUY THIS PLEASE DON'T DO IT YOU CAN BUY IT IF YOU LIKE IT BUT FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY TRY IT FIRST (don't). *note to self never trust reviews again

cynthhia

When i first spray this, i get a burst of fresh clementine, then it quickly goes downhill and starts to smell very screechy and static-y on my skin. No softness or creaminess :( Really sad this didn’t work out for me

Sweet scents 00

Could someone tell me if it’s citrusy ? Is the clementine very prominent? I’m looking for something clean, floral and sweet, similar to chloe edp, narciso pudree .. I’m not sure if I should buy it or not! Help!

xeannie

best of both worlds if you want a clean and gourmand fragrance!🍊

the vanilla and clementine blends well with each other resulting to a delicious mix. the floral notes also smells nice which got me a couple complements from my workmates. good office and formal event scent -- just don't overspray! i find that this lasted longer when i sprayed it on my hair.

➤ lasts 6-8 hours
➤ fair projection, minor scent trail
➤ 7/10 - clean, minimal, sophisticated bottle design

one of my best buys in my collection and would repurchase when i finish my bottle. ✨

Divine grace

This is so far the best vanilla scent I have ever tried. Quickly became one of my favorites, I don't think I will ever get bored of this, great longevity n sillage. Will continue to buy this.. hope it never gets discontinued. Would love to try the Absolue version too!

SweetEnigmaticSoul

This is a very pretty, soft and cozy scent. There’s nothing like it in my collection. Mont Blanc Signature Absolute is the total opposite of this… however, I love them both!

Tsmarcondes

It's very classy, elegant and feminine, vanilla and powdery. The longevity is not the best on the skin, but on the clothes it sticks for the whole day. It's work friendly but it can be a little too sweet for some people.

elleayjay

This smells just like Lancome Idole in my opinion, which was way too sweet for me. I had such high hopes, given the fact that I love the bottle but this just isn’t my type of scent.

Feuerzeug

Very soft, flowery, girly, almost childish scent. Powdery, and sweet. If this is your vibe - you’ll love it.

I enjoy vanilla, musk and benzoin, but the flowery aspect is simply too overwhelming. I tend to layer it with something citrusy to tone it down.

nour123eid

This smells EXACTLY like Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited by Lattafa. I regret buying both but its okay its a very versatile smell

Maya lilac

The softest and fluffiest fragrance that I’ve ever experienced. Very cozy, powdery and warm, like a hug. An immaculate fluffy cloud on a blue sky. A mood booster.

It feels like the most expensive cashmere sweater ever. Or an expensive silk slip on dress. It’s a subtle and delicate smell, it gives me a good feeling.

Might be one of the better releases of the last few years from a very underrated house, Montblanc.

Opens citrusy and sweet. Then it turns into a delicious mix of peonies, ylang ylang and magnolia. Vanilla and benzoin balance this floral bouquet and provide warmth, creaminess and smoothness. A beautiful blend.

It sits close to the skin and is quite moderate. But unlike many other fragrances released these days, it is very fairly priced. Surely, you don’t get a beast of a fragrance but Montblanc doesn’t charge you a high price like other houses do.

The bottle look is minimalistic but classy and pretty. Clean girl aesthetic comes to mind automatically when I see it.

I miss wearing this, I need a new bottle!

FabricatedFashion

This perfume was beautiful on paper. Unfortunately, in the dry down I experienced a sour note on my skin. It is beautifully sweet and lactonic. I feel the citrus notes were unnecessary.

LadyIva

Am I the only one who finds this perfume overwhelmingly sweet? IMHO, this Signature is not signature-worthy at all: it consists of, first and foremost, sweet vanilla, then, sweet fruits, some powder and, as a few other reviewers have mentioned, shea butter. It’s the absolute opposite of what I’m looking for in a perfume. I guess it’s aimed at very young girls.

danielabalgos

One of my first two perfumes I purchased in a duty free! Back then, I couldn’t find a better perfume to pair with my Estee Lauder Pleasures for the B1T1 promo of that store, so I opted to get this one. The drydown is an amazing powdery musk on my clothes and skin but having explored other notes in other perfumes later, this one became forgettable yet unforgettable at the same time. Forgettable because like others have said, it could smell like laundry. Unforgettable because the citrus at the beginning is loud. I can’t see the vanilla but I do smell the powdery-ness. It’s by this order: citrus-yellow floral-powdery musk. I do not group this with my more vanilla-prominent perfumes. I think it has a category of its own since I believe I do not have other citrus/yellow floral blend. I am not a fan of the first spray, especially for someone who has sworn off citrus and other fruity notes. But I can forgive it for the journey it opens to yellow, sunny floral and to the powdery, comforting musk. Will I buy it again? Maybe not. Do I enjoy wearing it? Yes, but not on days I know I would have intensive physical activity.

Suncica7

I fall for the white aesthetic. The design is everything. Such a class. The face of a fragrance- the writer. Beautiful.
But then, pleasant of course but like Dove shower gel. I was relieved- I don't have to waste money on another one addicting perfume.
BUT- as I moved on with my evening, the dry down came, and it is MAGICAL MAGICAL , creamy, childhood memory, something so early 90s , like an analog camera, elegant and womanly and beautiful. I was outside in an open cinema and couldnt stop sniffing my almost elbow-where I sprayed it, and couldnt explain myself to my friends, because it was cinema movie, so they thought this crazy little woman sniffing her elbow all the time hahahaah- but where does that smell come from it is amazing?
Entirely reminding me of Poudre Narciso, or the white cube Narciso- but it is not flora at all. It is that kind of creaminess without florals. Totally worth it.

sweetpop

it’s very light and airy. I was expecting a lot more from it but it’s alright. i can really pick up on the clementine, as well as the floral notes (i assume magnolia) but i cant really seem to place where the vanilla is. its like a hair product/soapy smell and my brother does agree that it seems to be a familiar scent like some people have said. it’s a very delicate fragrance and i do like it it was just a little underwhelming !

Caladhiel

The first time I tried it from the carded sample the citrus notes were dominant. The second time, though, it smelled exactly like the Lovea Karité Hair Mask I used to use years ago, which caught me by surprise. Where did that come from?

Beagn

I swear I smelled coconut or something like that and it’s not part of it????

snoopy2

Based on the reviews and notes, I was expecting something closer to musk therapy. But this is less musky, less citric and more lactonic. It pairs well with lavender scents.

nirvblakr

This was lying around in my decant tray probably a freebie of one of the frags I bought. Tried it on after taking a bath to satisfy my curiosity. Opening is creamy vanilla drying down to a sweet citrus scent then becomes powdery. I didn't know this was a women's frag. What the heck? I can sport this. Anyway the scent of frags overlap with each other. This even has musk in its notes which I always associate with men's frags.
One time I tried on Yara from my wife's frags. It smelled similar to JPG's Le Beau with its coconut note. I might make it my SOTD and no one will notice. The same with her D&G Light Blue Intense which blended with my body chem well.
Kudos to the women who rock men's frags. I might do the other way around.

piahellgren

Lovely. Smells like the Indian ice cream dessert kulfi mixed with one of Britney Spears fluffy ”white” perfumes mixed with Narciso Rose Musc Noir and a teensy bit if Chloe Love.

qlmina

a very vanillic, clean and sophisticated scent. great for all year round but shines especially in the spring, due to the luxurious clean almost soapy scent. can sometimes become a little cloying if oversprayed because of the ylang ylang. its basically the star of the show making the perfume smell like baby wipes on me, which i love. the vanilla is there, but in the background making it softer and rounded. it doesnt project well, and stays closer to the skin. it lasts long tho. the scent is unique and great as a signature scent, for any age group. love it.

WhitePetals

This perfume is so so so so good!
Smells like fluffy ice cream. Slightly sweet, feminine and cosy.
It is just a dream come true.
I was looking for such a scent after Pure Musc by Narciso disappointed me. ❤️❤️❤️🌸🌸🌸🌸 This is my go to work scent. Many many compliments

Katsaysmeomeo

I really love it at first, but I guess my taste has changed. It really is sweet and has a little bit of coconut smell. I didn't feel a powdery note on my skin, it was more like a sweet white floral and vanilla scent. It lasts very long and the sillage is also great too. I wish I could love it cause this is a really good perfume at a really good price.

Dorothy812

A wonderful, safe choice for anyone who likes vanilla and fresh, gentle scents with great lasting power. I particularly love the clementine note, that is reminiscent of Creme brûlée along with the vanilla.

djuxi98

my fave for everyday use. it suits my skin and lasts long.

The13thHour

The vanilla is not in the forefront in this perfume as I guessed it would be. This is a fresh fragrance. I get the white musk more than anything. It's not a heavy musk at all though. This is very clean and feminine. This is more so a skin scent. But I don't think this wears well in the heat of summer. I think the humidity would make this kinda rancid smelling because of that clementine. I also think that this is a perfume that is going to smell different on everybody.

qianqian

Soft, lactonic and clean body scent. I doubt the performance but the body scent type in general have poor longevity and sillage, so I can live with it. The price is quite acceptable if you buy from Chemist Warehouse, at 30 dollars per 30ml bottle.

Tembacat

This is fresh, clean, and inoffensive. I don't really get the vanilla, but I do get fresh florals. I would wear this as a way to polish off a casual and crisp look, or in professional situations where you want to smell nice but not wear anything too polarizing. I don't LOVE love it because it doesn't excite me, but the 4.5ml sample I got will probably get used up.

Daggy

I nearly bought this perfume as a blind buy based on a YT channel recommendation to pair with a VS vanilla body lotion.

Thank God I decided to test it in store first. I'm sorry, but this is not a safe blind buy. I didn't like it at all.

5enna

okay this one really smells perfect on paper but on my skin.. it's just like body odor. i waited for it to smell good but no. a big dissapointment.

Jezebelle

Soft, clean, sweet, powdery, creamy, feminine, absolutely adorable. My best blind buy this year. If you like the cube Narciso's but for some reason find them a bit lacking sweetness or a bit serious or mature, you might like this better. It feels like the vibe reimagined for the under 25 women and girls. To me it smells like a combination of makeup powder with body lotion and vanilla ice cream milkshake, feels like I am sitting in the summer at a terrace dressed in a white dress and eating a vanilla milky ice cream.
For some reason it's what I feel like I would expect a kind, pretty girl from a nice family to smell like without wearing perfume, when you are having a girls sleepover.

Lauren387

This is a nice perfume but the citrus note is not for me. I can see this as an every day scent in the summer and early fall. It’s feminine and long lasting. I have a new 90ml bottle for sale or trade. Message me if interested.

Lilah_lilah2023

This is a perfume for a strong, sophisticated woman. Sexy yet classy, high-end yet approachable. The vanilla and musk notes are very predominant, making it feminine, clean and almost too sweet (for some, like me). A quality perfume. It is too sweet for my taste but overall I think it is a good scent.

sopelka

Mmmm! This is delightful. Reminds me of VS Tease Cream Cloud, but much more nuanced and with better performance. I love the heavy bottle and the simple yet addictive vanilla and mandarin 🍊 combo. Truly an easy reach and a very good candidate for a signature scent, if only I could settle for just one!

kmeid2

Smells like lemon cream cake for the 10 seconds I can smell it then it disappears completely. So sad.

Sssmilinhart

I adore this fragrance. On my skin this is soft, beautiful, and comforting. As an added bonus, it lasts for hours for me. Although I love it on its own, I recently layered it with Narciso Poudree, and the resulting scent was even better. The ultimate clean, feminine, and womanly scent. My sister fell in love with Signature when she was visiting me, so I gifted it to her. Although I gave her 7 or 8 perfumes at that time, she told me that she prefers this over all the rest. Recently we traveled together, and I really enjoyed it on her as well.

Dee97

I really wanted to love this, but literally all I can smell is dove. After reading the reviews and watching them on YouTube I was expecting a nice, fresh vanilla but I can’t even smell the vanilla. It’s nice but it doesn’t wow me at the moment. Will keep wearing it and see how I feel.

Update: I now remember what this smells exactly like to me. When I was a kid, my mum would always use this carpet freshener and it smells EXACTLY like it. Will probably sell, it’s not for me.

jeweledsea

On paper this is creamy, light, and refreshing. There's almost a tropical quality to it, and the first time I smelled it I swore I smelled a pineapple note. 100% agree with the "orange creamsicle" vibes that others have noticed in the opening but that doesn't last very long for me which is a shame since it's delightful.

On my skin the vanilla and ylang ylang become almost salted caramely. I love a clean, shampoo type scent but on me this is gourmand. It's summer now and it does beautifully in the heat. I'm careful to not overspray with this one too because this easily gets cloying and something about it can be headache inducing at times. It's an easy, crowd pleasing scent (it's vanilla!) and has consistently gotten compliments (each on different instances) from my friend group. Sillage is decent and I can definitely smell it on myself throughout the day. It lingers on clothes for several days after initial application as well. It's not going to leave a massive trail, but if someone's standing near you they'll definitely get a whiff of it.

It's a safe blind buy if you are a fan of vanilla, but I think other frags do the "shampoo" and "creamy vanilla" vibes a bit better. Overall, I am enjoying my bottle (others do too!) and would give this a 3/5.

EDIT: It has become SO headache inducing for me and it's been hard to continue to grab it. I am kind of trudging through this at this point, and strongly am considering decluttering it.

Saffron pink

This is very pleasant. Love it on paper you really get to enjoy the clementine. On skin it’s very nice but is more creamy vanilla musk. Nothing too out of the ordinary but a decent designer fragrance.
To me, it’s very very similar to D&G the one gold intense.

saho93

I was hoping to get the clementine note, just even a teeny hint of it. But all I get is vanilla musk through and through. Zero sweet citrus. No flowers either.

I have plenty of creamy fragrances, and this is text book vanilla musk. Competently made.

I just hoped to detect a bit of the clementines people were raving about. My olfactory sense must off.

For those who smell all the notes, enjoy!

qinny

This scent is really lovely for a casual, non-offsensive day. A clean citrusy, vanilla with clean florals. It smells like a clean luxurious hotel lounge or an expensive lotion. Even though vanilla is one of the base notes, this is not gourmand at all so be aware of that. The projection is close to the skin and the longevity is not bad. The bottle is gorgeous and definitely fits the "clean girl" aesthetic if you are into that. 9/10 if you enjoy clean, simple fragrances. Definitely one of my signature perfumes.

Edit: After 3 months of wearing this perfume, I have to say, this is THE perfume that got me to stop feeling the "need" to buy more perfumes. So if you have a perfume addiction, this can be THE perfume to stop you LOL. This is perfect and easy to throw on for any occasion so it's quickly becoming my signature scent.

Spicyicy

Top notes of anise/ licorice to my nose, with the creamy vanilla emerging a couple of hours later. This scent smells a lot like the purple Johnson & Johnson babytime bath line - identical a few hours in. I love that scent, it reminds me of bathing my daughters when they were small.

Fifi3131

CREAMY DREAMY VANILLA 🍰🍦SCENT ( SOAPY CLEAN VIBES 🧼 🚿)
I'M OBSESSED 😍
Great lasting power and longevity + 6 hrs 👌 nice perfume for spring and summer ☀️

pinkdiamond1

It smells like a facial cleansing creme. I can't really smell the citrus or vanilla.

natihalm

Fluffy, light, lemony citrus vanilla with a cloudy musky like texture to it. It’s a really pleasant perfume that gives off clean girl vibes. It’s an easy reach for fresh out of the shower / lazy Sundays. Some people say it smells like bathroom freshener which I can kind of see but this lacks that harshness that those scents typically tend to have.

Longevity and projection are moderate although I will get wafts of it throughout the day.

Dori002

People say this is blend and boring, but actually I have never smelled anything like this before.
In the beginning it's similar to a lot of perfumes, it's a sweet musky vanilla and I swear I smell pear as well. It's similar to God is a Woman or Born Dreamer. But after a few minutes it became an Ylang-Ylang heavy, green, synthetic bubble-bath, but not in a fresh, "cleangirlish" way. It's so synthetic that I feel a bit sick when I smell it. It reminds me of a cheap bubble bath we were using when I was a child.

vivaLVmarie

Tiktok made me buy it! 🙃
I’m wearing it today and I smell like an orange creamsicle candy air freshener. Not so creamy, overhyped, quite nice candy clementine smell, good for wearing at home during a hot summer day. It makes me happy, but too much makes me wanna gag. Very artificial smelling. But I can’t stop smelling myself. Not so bad of a musk on the dry down. No compliments, I just smell like a clean happy bathroom. I’m not mad about it tho lol.

LulaValentine

Hmmm… I feel a bit let down.

I was so excited to try this and I’m really thankful I didn’t buy the largest bottle. Just 1oz. Now I live in Florida and it’s hot as hell down here right now so this may need to sit in the coolness of my home for a week or 2 before it gets better.

However, if it doesn’t get better and this is what it smells like and what people are comparing to Good Girl Blush….. It’s not wrong but it only smells like GGB when it fully dries down. When I first spray it, I don’t really like it much. It smells like cheap orangey-vanilla bar soap? I’m going to give it a fair chance cause it does smell very similar to GGB upon dry down and that’s why I wanted it to begin with. I adore GGB; it’s one of my favorite perfumes of all time. But it’s expensive. GGB I think has better projection than this but you could definitely wear this instead when you wanna save some $$$.

That opening is just… ugh.

This definitely shares some similarities with Yara as well. I think Yara is better though in terms of silage, longevity and price.

VinR

Montblanc Signature is a sophisticated and elegant fragrance that opens with vibrant citrus notes, transitions into a floral heart, and settles into a warm and comforting base. Its versatile nature makes it suitable for any occasion, and its longevity ensures a lasting impression. With a stylish bottle design, Montblanc Signature is a must-have for those seeking a refined scent. Simply I love it

JenSmellsSOGood!

Very young and basic perfume. I cannot for the life of me understand the hype. This smells like BBW Pure Wonder & JS Fancy Love. It also smells like one of my hair products, maybe Pattern Beauty or Curls? No depth, no sillage, disappears before it dries down. Word to the wise, anything that is being blown up online is going to be VERY unimpressive to a seasoned perfumista. I thought I would step into the new school and try some things everyone is loving, and I haven't been impressed yet. I was hopeful bc I love Ylang Ylang and Vanilla.

Peachyportia

I wanted to love this so bad, I’m very happy I tested it first. This is the most headache inducing fragrance I have ever tried! It smells nice, but my head is just pounding.

LunaFortuna

This went from a dislike to a love. I initially was extremely disappointed with this one. I sprayed it a few times, barely smelled it, and let it sit for about two months. I thought it was extremely light, watery, and bland. In fact, I could barely even smell it on myself. Well, I've decided to revisit it after two months of ignoring it. It's still a very light and fresh out of the shower sort of scent, however, I like it a lot more than I initially did. Plus, it's been hours since I first sprayed it, and I can smell it! In fact, I keep getting delicious smelling whiffs of this throughout the day, and I stop and think: "Mmmmmm, that smells divine." Yes, it's a bit soapy as others have mentioned, but it's not soapy in the Dove bar soap sort of way. To me, it's soapy in a bubble bath type of way. Imagine that you're in the bath and you've put in some semi-sweet vanilla bubble bath liquid. As you're soaking in a creamy vanilla bubble bath, you use a shampoo / conditioner set that's floral, milky, and just a touch citrusy. That's what this fragrance smells like to me. It's a light freshie. Great for summer or spring. You won't fill a room with this but it's quite pleasant, airy, and light. As I said, it definitely smells like you've just stepped out of a vanilla scented bubble bath. I like it a lot, and can even go as far as to say that it's becoming a love for me, but I'm still letting it grow on me with time. I definitely can't wait to keep wearing it, because it smells so beautiful, and any initial disappointment and feelings of being underwhelmed have gone.

cargirl94

Got this as a blind buy from TikTok and was really excited about it until I smelled it. Dry down smells very much like dove body-wash and sunscreen. Didn’t pick up much on the sweetness aspect. Unsure of what to do with the bottle now because I don’t see myself wearing it.

joexulaje

This definitely smells like a vanilla forward body lotion, but how's that a bad thing? It's weirdly fresh/clean while remaining comforting, maybe because of that lotion-y nature. It gives me "straight out of the shower" vibes, but in a resort during hot summer holidays!

I think the scent is also kind of "motherly", in the sense that I am sure you know at least one mom in your life that smells similar to this, which makes this fragrance extremely comforting (granted you don't have mommy issues lol).

On me is mostly vanillic, with a hint of orange, super creamy, lactonic and fresh but in a skin-like type of fresh! Easy to like, unique yet familiar and I'd give it a very solid 9/10. It's a great vanilla fragrance for the summer in my opinion.

(For reference I like sweet scents, gourmands, jasmine, etc think burberry london, lost cherry, fancy, casablanca, gentle fluidity gold)

emgailba

Blind bought this, broke open the package, and started spraying. This is a very pretty little vanilla floral. It's unique enough I may keep it in my collection.

On my skin, it's primarily a vanilla/orange cream, lightly heady floral. But there's freshness too, and since this is a creamy fragrance rather than a bright or sharp scent, the overall effect is soft, comforting, and sweetly subtle.

can understand why some might say this reminds them of body lotion or deodorant--I get it. But right now, on my skin, this is reading more orange cream vanilla, so I'll enjoy this one and avoid over-spraying. I sometimes enjoy perfumes less when I overspray. I think she merits 2 sprays and no more.

I could also see layering with a bit of vanilla to amp up those notes and downplaying the fresh aspect.

Overall, not bad for a $20 impulse purchase, lol

rhaineclayton

I blind bought this recently. I'm not sure what originally got me obsessed with getting it, but I got a bit panicked while waiting for it to arrive. There are comparisons to body cream and Dove soap. Body cream I can handle, but after spraying on some Dove deodorant at work the other day, I though Hell No!
It arrived today. I get the comparisons to Dove, but thankfully it's not suffocating like the deodorant. Definitely a body cream scent. Do I love it? Not really. Like it? Yes. Will I wear it? Yes, I'm sure there will be occasions for it, because I don't have anything else like it.
I've just put on a jumper that still has a bit of Guerlain Insolence on it and the two meld together nicely.
Similar genre to Azzaro Twin and Courreges de Blanc, both of which I've owned in the past and sold on. This is sweeter and better behaved on my skin, whereas the other two get kind of "tangy" or sour.

Stroopschnitzel

Blind ordered this in 90ml. Extremely disappointed. It gave me headache all day.

CheriV

I’m not sure what it is with the fragrances that have these clementine, kumquat and other sour citrus notes and my skin. At first spray, I love it but then my skin really pulls those sour notes out And I feel like it smells like dried sweat after some time. I enjoyed this one in store, but wearing it full body is a different experience.

No one has told me I smell badly, but no one has complimented me either. I haven’t decided yet what my final thoughts are on this fragrance. I’d encourage persons to give this a good amount of sprays when trying out to make sure it works with your skin chemistry, because it’s not THAT safe a buy- even as the reviewer before me has mentioned.

Edit: So I received my first compliment on this one today (almost a week after the original post). I was told "You smell really good! You smell so soft and sweet, and gentle, kinda like a really pretty baby powder" lol.

picknenders

ill pop in here and leave my take...I'm a male who has been collecting scents for a while. My lady and I were out and about and we gave this a spritz and I immediately told her we needed to get it (for her, not me). It's just so nice - calming - citrusy/vanilla. While i recognize it has florals, it certainly departs from the typical fruity floral that i'm used to smelling on women. This has a unique freshness, while still being cozy - and not going into the "sporty" territory. And - it can be found super cheap online. You should get it!

Leah0026

I sampled this on card a couple of years ago in summer when my son was a toddler. The top notes immediately reminded me of scented baby wipes and I didn’t give it another try until now (winter). Well, I’m glad I did, because after sampling on my skin I’m thinking this might actually be an easy reach. I’m mostly in love with the dry down, which is a buttery creamy vanilla, reminiscent of a rich body butter. I also get the ambery warmth of the benzoin coming through. I can see how people relate this to dove bar soap, which is a scent I find comforting and nostalgic. I still don’t love something about the creamy citrus opening, but I think I can push through this to get to the cosy dry down. The 30ml is also super cheap so this has helped seal the deal. I also think that sampling this in winter as opposed to summer might have changed my perception too.

Kim Milan

Omg I just blind bought this fragrance after hearing so much good things about it and it does exceed my expectations of it. It is such a comforting scent and a very nice sweet, creamy soft coconutty vanilla, but there are no notes of coconut being in this. It is giving me coconut and pineapple vibes it has such a holiday tropical feel to it and I love it. A few sprays goes a long way as this does project. Longevity I am not to sure about as I have just sprayed on myself but I will keep y’all updated 😊

elliegirl

MB’s Signature is a creamy, fluffy, slightly citrus vanilla. To me, this fragrance is unlike any other. There are comparisons to Good Girl Blush, which I also adore, but they don’t smell similar in my opinion. They are both soft feminine scents, but are otherwise very different with Signature leaning into a citrusy vanilla and GG Blush a powdery floral.

I’ll layer this with BBW’s In The Stars or EOS’s Vanilla Cashmere. I think this would be a very versatile perfume to layer with, for those who enjoy this scent. I don’t think this is a blind buy safe perfume, since it can be headache inducing or even nauseating to some people.

I get about eight hours of wear, with a nice sillage, but it’s not obnoxiously strong. It performs a lot better than I’d expect a scent like this to. This is a cozy, comforting, and happy scent that I quickly added to my top ten fragrances.

Smeraldina77

This is one of the very few fragrances I tried in my life that I really, strongly dislike and that gives me kind of headache and gag reflex. To me the citrus-vanilla-musk combo smells terribly artificial and plastic-like, and very very poor quality. It reminds me of some very bad, cheap perfume / deodorant I smelled when I was a kid back in the 1980s. I did not detect any of the floral notes, only this poor quality, artificial fake vanilla - orange - musk smell. And of course, like all bad smells, it lasts forever, even after I scrubbed my arm....

Duckling

This smells almost exactly like a bar of Dove Shea Butter soap - honestly, grab a bar for $2 and compare! I love that soap so I feel very lucky to have stumbled across this scent from Mont Blanc.

It’s a warm vanilla musk with a clean feeling from the citrus. Not super strong, but as someone who generally prefers green woody scents and avoids anything gourmand (especially vanilla), the sweetness and warmth is kinda cloying. This would be too much for me in our Australian summers but I like it for autumn and winter - maybe even spring.

Probably a safe blind buy if you’re into vanilla scents, but maybe not if you’re coming to it as a citrus/soapy/clean scent fan.

jessica_chinos

I get coconut on this perfume, even if it's not listed. It smells like a creamy vanilla ice cream with well blended citrus notes. It's most definitely not adequate for the summers in my city, at 40º celsius, it gets way too cloying. But I can see myself enjoying this cheapy in autumn and winter. It slightly resembles Good Girl Blush, but I'd say the pink stiletto smells more like cloying bubble gum. I tried them both on my skin today. Neither are for this kind of summer.

Anrau1234

The most airy yet long-lasting vanilla ever. Not gourmand, instead it has that hint of orange and musk. Girly but not sweet thanks to the floral and musk quality. Overall great value for the price!

Latetothescene

At first a bit underwhelmed. Not a blind buy fail, just ..meh, it's ok. Smells a bit like orange antibiotic sirup for kids. I let it sit and now, it's a like and I grab it often. While I wasn't planning on buying a big bottle after my thirty ML runs out, I just might because I grab it on days i don't want anything too perfumey, just clean, creamy, nice. (I didn't in the end) Opening, Mandarin, clean muskyness and fuzzy cream. Drydown, creamy mandarin. Deep drydown on clothes, like the next day: crisp lightly floral, Mandarin, laundry scent. Just lovely. I do NOT get vanilla. Couldn't sniff it out in this perfume to save my life and i'm a BIG vanilla lover.

Anyway, this Will be empty before summer ends. 👍🏻 Also, the opening of musk therapy (not a fan of the drydown) reminds me of signature. This is by far the better buy imo . 💯

Aaand it's empty. This is the first fragrance that I emptied in 6 weeks and I own more then one 30ml bottle. That means something. 10/10 for what it is (and doesn't pretend to be something else). Will repurchase.

nostalgiaultra

I blind bought this fragrance after seeing reviews for months about it.

I sprayed a little on my bedsheets on accident and it smells absolutely dreamy and elegant on skin and cloth. The fragrance is powdery, lactonic, and clean, almost like Dove soap. After sitting on the skin, the ylang ylang provides a hint of tropical sweetness on a base of fluffy and musky ice cream like vanilla, fresh tangerine, lemony magnolia, and powdery peony. Suitable for every day seasonal wear and smells amazing with eos Vanilla Cashmere lotion and Nemat vanilla oil.

gonegirl

i tried this in the mall and it smelled very green and spa like. very weird. i will update this when i try it again

vintagesoda

Such an interesting scent! I blind bought this (which I wouldn’t recommend doing in general with perfumes) but it was such a reasonable price for 50ml. I had heard it was a fresh, clean scent with soft vanilla and citrus. Initially, it smelled like baby powder when I first sniffed the bottle and sprayed it on my skin. But give it 15 minutes to warm to your skin and the citrus and vanilla begin to take centre stage. I wouldn’t say I get creamsicle from this, it’s not quite sweet enough for that, the musk is definitely what I smell most. To me, it smells almost identical to the Dove nourishing body wash in the white and blue packaging. Definitely the most unique fragrance in my collection. I think it would be an easy reach when you don’t know what else to wear. I can’t decide if I love it or not yet so I’m going to let the bottle macerate for a couple weeks and then come back and update this review!

Update: I’ve been wearing it on and off for nearly a month now and it’s just gotten better and better the more I have let it sit. It’s my go-to after having a shower or a bath, lovely and clean and warm with just enough sweetness. I can imagine this one being an easy reach for an office fragrance as it’s unlikely to offend anyone. Definitely in my top 5.

AnaPR

i love this scent. the fact that it's so affordable is a plus. the magic for me here is in the deep drydown, which turns creamy and soft and is super comforting. this scent takes a minute to settle and then after the initial spray, you'll find it mellowing to a really pleasant scent. you cannot beat this for the price.

Annabelsnose

Unfortunately I don't get creamy, and I don't get much vanilla. On me it smells like fruity shampoo, very chemical and soapy, cold- when I was hoping for a warm comforting creamsicle scent.

HoneypotBr

I am wearing Montblanc Signature today and I just had to write a perhaps redundant note about it. For someone whose favourite scent notes are citrus fruits and flowers, vanilla and musk, this is pretty spot on. Even though some people cannot understand its fame, it is well deserved. At least for my nose and skin. It's absolutely gorgeous, elegant, clean, cozy, warm, and comfortable. It gets me compliments and it isn't invasive. Everything in this fragrance is well rounded. And on my skin it lasts for at least a solid 8 hours. Love, love, love it.

Tooturntt

I don't understand the hype around this perfume. The scent is pretty, sure, but nothing astonishing by any means. My biggest issue is how weak the sillage & longevity are. You have to really overspray to create a decent scent bubble and even then it's very mild. If you enjoy a light and modest perfume check it out.

apt23

I was so hyped for this! it's pretty much fully up my alley as a lover of floral musks, but this just felt a touch juvenile? I was hoping for a lot more complexity and maybe more citrus/musk and less vanilla. It's still a lovely perfume but I definitely think it really does settle to something of a floral vanilla which is still nice but not groundbreaking.
Definitely nice and soft to wear throughout the day, you may want something more complex for into the night.

Safyre365

This is definitely giving creamsicle! The clementine is a little more in the background, so it's not a full-blown orange perfume at all, but it smells like an orange creamsicle! It's a creamy vanilla ice cream with some orange, amber notes, and slight floral. It reminds me of ice cream, for sure! The Ylang Ylang adds a touch of almost tropical sweetness. It's a clean smelling warm, musky fragrance that I can't imagine anyone not liking and I think it can be worn year round, by any age, to a variety of places! It can be worn by itself or layered with other fragrances. I was so mad when I got this last Summer because I couldn't smell anything! I let it sit and macerate for a few weeks, maybe even a month, and when I revisited it, I loved it!

aqua76239

this scent been SO hyped up and generally most scents that's been mentioned so much don't like up to it hype for me. Its floral scent thats on the sweeter side with touches of vanilla which saves it from being a total bore into something one step up. Is it a pleasant scent? yes, its nice, light floral vanilla thats very inoffesive and pretty much can be worn by anyone for any occasion. Lasting power is nil and no one can smell it.
This scent while nice enough is just not memorable and doesn't last.

Leila22920

Let me tell you the story of how I fell in love with the most unassuming 2mL decant from Etsy.

I won’t really, the story itself is boring however when I sprayed this on my arm after a dozen sprays from niche boutiques and Jus de Rose recommended scents, this was a revelation. Creamy citruses or a glass of orange wrapped in a cashmere sweater or your lover/mother/crush biting into the most delicious orange creamsicle and you look at them with nothing but love and adoration, and they look back at you and tell you “I love you too, don’t ever forget”. This is the fragrance of beautiful young mothers, your first girlfriend, your pretty colleague who you have a girl crush on. It’s a “passe-partout” fragrance, you could wear it anywhere. Dress it up or down and it will always shine in the sea of boring fruity florals. And the price point is satisfyingly affordable too (don’t you all worry sometimes that the best juices will cost you an arm and a leg at those horridly expensive niche houses?). To both noses who created this marvel, thank you thank you thank you. May you never change it, never discontinue it. I will wear this as my everyday scent for the rest of my life.

MaraCorina

This is a sweet, creamy and clean body lotion smell. It is cozy and inviting.

HellyBopPop

Ahhh! This is as close as I can get to the discontinued Max Mara perfume I had years ago
Soft, sweet, comforting and feminine.

Miss Bright

I was so excited by the reviews but kind of disappointed after I blind bought a 90ml bottle...
I cannot detect any vanilla -where is the VANILLA?- only tones of magnolia.
The opening is so sharp and not creamy at all; a nausing "cold" smell that made me sneeze like crazy. I found out that this is can get smoother with an instant gentle rub (not recommended for perfume application, I know, but mandatory for me) and a lot of patience, waiting for about an hour til it settles down.
After that point -and if you are brave enough to come through that long phase- Signature is much more enjoyable and powdery, but still not sweet enough for me.
To my nose, the scent that remains is almost identical to the Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen but unfortunately without the coziness of the coconut and the warm tropical vibe the second has. Signature stays spiky sharp and cold. I think it will work wonders layered over a Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen (as a body lotion with SPF protection) during the summer months.
The bottle is stunning!
I would love if there were lactonic-coconuty notes to compliment the packaging but damn, it's so snobby cold... not my type.

tlveal

Not sure if I need to let this macerate but I'm not impressed by this one. It's just a nice, fresh, powdery citrus scent. I don't find anything special about this fragrance and it's just basic to me. This one is going back.

Upward_Falling

Incoming unpopular opinion:

While clean and refreshing, almost cloud-like; there is something in the deep dry down that is quite sharp. I find the citrus top note fades rather quickly but I do enjoy it while it's there. The peony is hard to detect, I think it's overpowered by the magnolia. Not a complaint, just an observation.

That sharp note throws me off just enough that this won't be a repurchase for me. I will use up the 1oz that I have but know not to spray it right under my nose to avoid a headache. I find this to be more spring/summer appropriate where I live and works great if you're looking to smell clean but not soapy. I would just caution to spray lightly the first wear to determine how much of this you can handle wearing. While I typically wear 6-9 sprays of fragrance, I can only comfortably use about 4 of this one.

I guess I don't get the hype with this one. For me, it's meh - can take it or leave it.

gourmand_girlie

Best way I know how to describe this is a "clean marshmallow":

- A little bit soapy-musky (like a white musk - very inoffensive, but also with the indistinct floral blend of a white soap)
- A pillowy, soft, vanilla marshmallow cloud as the base

It's beautiful - calming, classy, soft, slightly sweet, and clean. I picture a woman in a fluffy white robe, in a white room with mirrored furniture, a plush bed, a crystal chandelier, and jazz music playing softly.

As the scent evolves, more of the clementine and ylang ylang show up - a bit of sharpness cutting through the fluffy-ness. Not sure how I feel about the dry down yet, as it feels a little confusing to me - but I'll come back after testing it some more, to update.

Lunar_Bunny

Oh my goodness, I absolutely adore this scent! I love tangerine / clementine and I also love creamy and powdery fragrances, so this was always going to be an instant hit for me from the start, but I didn't expect just how much I would love it! It's sooo good ~ really creamy, not too sweet, and not overpowering. It smells sort of expensive and luxurious to me, without being ridiculously pricey.

2BlueVelvet

It’s a warm late spring day, and the huge new magnolia blossoms on the tree you are lounging under smell sweet and clean. You sway back and forth lazily in your hammock, in a pleasant dreamy reverie, trying not to drip any of the orange creamsicle you are eating on your white linen dress. Signature by Montblanc.

Queen of torts

Gorgeous. Fresh yet creamy. Inoffensive. Great signature scent.

Snifftastic

Now this is a designer fragrance that is WORTH it. Skip Mon Guerlain as it smells a bit like make-up powder and nab this bad boy.

WONDERFUL fragrance that has longevity and sillage. You'll nab compliments and stay smelling fresh and delicious all at the same time.

This is creamy vanilla with a hint of that lovely clementine just OMPH so good. This is also affordable while being nuanced.

Def blind buy approps if you like vanilla with a hint of orange -- think creamsicle vibes.

AmoreProfumi

This is really pretty light fresh sweet.. it gives off a mild tropical vibe thought there was pineapple or coconut until I seen the notes. The vibe makes you think more summer.. but I could see this year round and don’t think it would really offend anyone; nice for the fruity/vanilla lovers.

Genevieve Gwendolyn

I blind bought this and to be honest was not a fan in the beginning i believe the magnolia made it a bit plasticky for my taste .but the dry down is so beautiful I had to give it a chance ,Like the name suggest is a beautiful signature scent .The vanilla lovers clean girl aesthetic perfume .Blind buy and gift appropriate perfume

mozzaa

Blind buy for me where I was not expecting much. This is beyond beautiful. I live in a place with hot and muggy summers so I wanted a clean scent with decent projection and sillage. And man am I thrilled to find this. It’s a clean fresh scent that is not a generic shy summer spritz. It confidently asserts that the wearer is a classy self-assured woman without being loud or crass. Very classy and in my opinion suitable for all seasons. You will smell clean and elegant at the same time- if that makes sense. It’s been a long time since a blind buy has impressed me this much. Two words- Buy It.

Mira97

This perfume got me so many compliments, it's sweet but fresh which is perfect for any season tbh, I think it's safe blind buy

kitkat_69

I tried this yesterday at nordstroms and sprayed my arm twice. Beautiful creamy vanilla scent, it reminds me of childhood bliss and playing with dolls for some reason? It has that plastic-like vanilla doll smell, but it works. It reminds me of a milkshake. So good! Light, inoffensive, yet long lasting. A good everyday scent. I sprayed this at 7pm, went to bed, woke up, and 12 hours later I can smell a light creamy musk vanilla. The price is pretty good too. However, I feel like it needs a zing to it. It’s a linear smell without a lot of notes, it needs some more citrus or something. I might try layering this with other perfumes if I buy a full bottle.

jjluvsm9

Hmm. Not what I expected.
It’s very very fresh, like shower gel smelling. I know there’s white musk in here, but it’s very laundry detergent-esque which is not my personal taste.

The vanilla is less prominent than I hoped for, it’s more a supporting act. The magnolia is prominent however, as is the clementine. Agree with reviewer below about the sun lotion vibe, must be ylang ylang. It’s fairly similar to Prada Candy Kiss but less sweet and much more clean smelling.

It was cheap - about £30 for a 50ml bottle - and I’d say you’re getting what you pay for. It does smell a bit offensively chemical-y upon first spraying as other reviewers mention.

It’s also veryyy weak on me and even with a good 10-15 sprays I don’t have a scent bubble.

Overall, it smells like a clean fresh slightly sweet clementine scented shower gel. A bit of a disappointment as I was hoping for the mouthwatering ‘creamsicle’ vibe that a lot of people seem to be getting.

Veracruz

At first spray I thought I smelled coconut but looking at the notes I guess it’s the yellow flowers giving it that tropical suntan/sunscreen lotion vibes. That’s the image I got- fresh out of the shower with a bit of suntan lotion still left behind. I find the opening quite pleasant- creamy, soft, sweet yet fresh, but wish it was less air freshener like? Cant pinpoint it, but there is something a tad bit screechy/chemical mixed in with the pretty scent, seems they used cheaper chemicals as base. It’s also reminiscent of a nice spring/summer body spray from Victoria’s Secret or BBW.

pippingreen

Holy cow, this is so strong. I made the mistake of spraying twice and gave myself a huge headache. The scent is nice and clean, very magnolia heavy supplemented with vanilla. It kinda reminds me of those motherly women that you want to hug you and tell you everything will be alright. Do not overspray this though, I'm not convinced it's safe enough for the office because boy is the sillage enormous.

Kellye8498

Hrm. II don't know about this one. I think I like it but it's like a scent that I would wear to bed. I don't get the creamcicle vibe others are getting. To me, it smells like I just got out of the shower. It's a really clean scent. That's probably good for a lot of people but I really tend to live at camp gourmand so it's not exactly my type of scent. I'm going to keep trying it, especially since I got such a large bottle. If I don't end up loving it the way I thought I would when I read the notes I can always use it as my bedtime clean and fresh scent. I have heard some people comparing it to Yara and I don't get that at ALL. If you're buying it for that reason I would get a sample of this first because it's going to disappoint.

meowjaz

love love love mont blanc's signature right from the opening - a creamy and inoffensive floral vanilla, was love at first sniff for me as its so so comforting. as in the name, very much a signature-worthy scent! dries down very musky (thanks to the benzoin) and quite powdery which i love, perfect for when i want to feel more refined or mature !! 100% i will be purchasing this scent as soon as i can <3

AyeDeeBee

Smells like barbie doll hair and sunscreen🧴

seliko

easy-wear daily fragrance yet still captivating… vanilla can get really overwhelming for me however it’s simply beautiful here, the fruity floral background lightens the impact and makes it just the perfect amount of vanilla. a warm, cozy blanket that enwraps you, it’s fluffy and creamy yet lightweight, slightly shampoo-esque too, a gorgeous yet clean fragrance. the perfect amount of everything. i think it can work in warmer weather too because of how fluffy yet light it is. i feel like this is the fragrance that the effortlessly pretty, clean girl at campus wears. whenever she passes by with her ponytail swinging from side to side you wonder what she’s wearing that makes her smell so captivating… is it simply that she’s naturally gorgeous in her comfy outfit to class that somehow even her shampoo smells better?

apfelix13

It was love at first smell. This is definitely a fragrance you wear anywhere. It smells so fresh! One of my favorites! I get a lot of clementine and vanilla. Perfect!

clairescentience

Not for sensitive noses.

First whiff, I thought, oh my god... This is the sexiest thing I have ever smelled! But wait a few more seconds and there is something in it that is headache-inducing unfortunately. Still, I troopered on as I wanted to get to know this scent as it has a stunning opening. I can say thay this scent is surprisingly beachy (salty). That aspect of it, I am not the biggest fan of. But the rest of it is creamy, decadent, and a touch gourmand. Still, it is headache-inducing and something... something about it doesn't feel as expensive or refined-smelling as I'm used to. After the magic wears off, it comes across as a bit cheap and beachy.

Beauty&ABeast

The first thing I thought when I smelled this is that it is signature scent worthy. Definitely something you would want your presence to be attached to. I can’t even believe I got it at such a low price. I’ve been wearing it for an hour and all I can say is wow. It smells flirty and girly, yet lush & expensive. It opens beautifully, but I think the scent gets better and better and it dries down. The vanilla is not sickly sweet but subtle. The clementine plays extremely well with the ylang ylang. This was a blind buy for me and now it’s a staple. Love it when this happens.

Detman101

Okay...it has arrived! (tester bottle from Foreverlux)
This is such a bright and happy creamy orangesicle fragrance!
Just testing it out with 3 sprays on my arm, i'm not getting much longevity...after 2 hours it was a skin scent.

Going to layer it with "Cool water intense" on my chest and only "MB-SIG" on my neck and arms tomorrow morning and see how it does through the day.
Will report back with findings...

(After a full workday...)
Yeah...smells great...doesn't last more than 4 hours even if over-sprayed (as I did this morning). No projection, though decent sillage.
This will wind up being one of my "Hanging around the house" fragrances.

(After returning home from the hospital...)
Well, the evening went left....wife had to go to the ER.
While we were waiting on her diagnosis...nurse after nurse came into our curtained-off area commenting on how beautiful it smelled around us. One nurse even said "Someone in here smells absolutely A-MAZING!". My wife giggled and pointed to me, Surprised...I smiled and said "Thank you ma'am". This continued on with each nurse (male and female) that came through for various functions. At the end of our time there, the Physician Assistant came in with the final assessment/procedure schedule/medication and commented that our area where we were being seen smelled like an island oasis out of the whole Emergency Room.

I guess I have been going nose-blind to "MB - Signature" and that's why it seemed like the performance was not good. That is good...and bad...because I mostly wear my fragrances for ME to smell. I don't like the idea of not being able to smell what I'm wearing because i'm only wearing it for my own pleasure. :(
I'm happy that I was wrong about the fragrances performance, but I am saddened that I only get to enjoy it myself for 3-4 hours before my nose gives out. I'm amazed that out of all my fragrances, this lightweight fruity airy vanilla one causes me to go nose-blind!?!?
I mean, come one...I wear friggin "Bijan-for-men" and "Boss No 1" regularly and they are brutal on the nose...and I never go nose-blind with them. I even spray my beard with them and they're right there under my nose and I NEVER go nose-blind!

Unbelievable...I guess it's just my horrid luck.
I'll still wear it...even if I only get to enjoy it's soft embrace for 3-4 hours.
<3

aqua76239

I can sort of see why so many fall in love with it -its sweeter floral with hints of vanilla, thats still very light and almost delicate. I think that description sounds better than scent really is. I heard it hyped up so many times so perhaps thats why I was dissapointed. To me it was just "ok". This is not "this smells amazing, what are you wearing??" kind of a scent. I think its far too quiet and it lays too close to the skin for my taste. Its like a shy girl in your class who is kind of pretty but you hardly notice her because she sort of sits in the corner and doesn't speak to anyone. Thats Montblanc. I haven't smelled the newest version and i am definately curious about that one and want to see if its an improvement

Aeiris81

This is such a comforting, sweet, milky, plush dream of a fragrance. It is a rainy and cloudy spring outside and Signature works heavenly right now. It's so cozy and delicate, what a beautiful little gem. I have the 30 ml bottle but I'm considering a bigger one, I don't want to be without this in my life🥰

Taurien

For some reason the first time I tried it I didn't like it but I decided to give it a try because it is a very loved fragrance in the perfume community. Luckily, in subsequent tests I liked it more and more and in the end it entered my collection.

It has a juicy and sweet clementine opening that gives way to a powdery vanilla with a touch of ylang ylang. There is something in its start that smells aniseed to me too. Its drydown is really delicious for me, sweet at its right point, creamy and delicate.

Personally, I'm not finding it too similar to Yara by Lattaffa, I don't know where so many comparisons come from. Yara has fruity aspects tending towards the aroma of strawberry or red berries while in Signature it is the clementine that stands out. The Lattaffa perfume is also much more lactonic and has an scent much more in the way of a candy or cotton candy. Signature seems more mature and less sweet to me.

It has a moderate sillage and lasts for more than 10 hours on my skin, I didn't expect it but it works incredibly well for me.

It is a very versatile perfume that I like at any time of the year but I find it especially beautiful in spring.

I have the 90 ml bottle, which is square since the smaller ones are more elongated, and I have to say that, with its opaque and faceted white glass and its cap with the name and logo of the brand in gold, for me it is one of the most beautiful in my collection.

Scent 7.5/10
Duration 10/10
Sillage 6.5/10
Quality/price 8/10
Versatility 8/10
Packaging 9.5/10
Would I buy again? Yes

spitfyre27

There's something synthetic and a bit medicinal in this scent. It's not so evident when smelling it from the bottle, but on skin--on my skin at least, it really smells artificial. There's a sweetness that's unpleasant and cheap-smelling. It smells similar to another cheapie I got, Police To Be Tattooart, which I obviously just bought for the bottle. I don't think I'll reach for this one often. Bottle is cute though.

npadua13

I think this scent is perfect for the office during the spring and summer but can be worn all year. It has a sweet and fresh orangecicle kind of smell that is mellow and clean. I love this perfume for every day scent. The price point and a gorgeous bottle are a plus! The performance is quite good too.

gigihadidm

I have found the perfume of my dreams! like a fluffy cloud of sunshine and flowers wrapped in a warm vanilla embrace. Who doesn't love that? It's like having summer on my skin.

The only downside is that it doesn't stay on my skin for very long, but it's great in my hair and on my clothes. It's not strong enough to knock anyone out, but it's enough to make me happy and make me feel like a tropical princess.

SailorRoss

I don't get the popularity of this one. Sure it's a pretty bottle, but it smells like car air freshener.

batuhanavci

This smells identical to Dove Shea Butter bar soap which I adore! A fluffy, soapy vanilla scent. It has amazing lasting power and projection. If I spray it on clothes the scent lingers for days. Highly recommend it.

Ashabizzness

This is the scent I’ve been looking for for so long. The casual everyday scent for when you want to smell amazing but feel that wearing something perfumey to the post office might be excessive. The ultimate your-skin-but-better scent. Way, way better. The kind the just makes you want to scoot a little closer to the person next to you wearing this.
I picture an indoorsy girl wearing this. Her house has a lot of natural light and there’s always a different book on her coffee table. She wears the coolest sunglasses and her drink of choice is an elderflower cocktail. She just washed her bedsheets so you’re not supposed to wear your outside-clothes in her bed.
Oh and the lasting power on this is insane, I’m obsessed.

miarose847

This is a beautiful fragrance. I love woody, strong, and ambery fragrances so at first sniff with this I was like 🙃..... This smells like baby powder. But it is a beautiful soft vanilla and I love to layer it with lavender lotions and bath gel and you get a vanilla, lavender with a hint of musk. Gives prairie wife vibes. Makes me feel soft and feminine. Not a beast mode fragrance like I'm used to but doesn't have to be. Longevity 6/10, about 4-5 hours.

naenae_moves

Some thing about this reminds me of my childhood…it’s clean but not soapy clean more of a natural slightly ozonic clean with some type of natural oil/butter in the background, solid 7.8/10 it’s classy and expensive smelling without being old/mature

Burgundy Jayde

My💞 heaven this fragrance is surreal. The bottle captivated me as much as a beautiful jewel 💎 I knew I had to try it and I am literally enveloped in a heavenly cloud☁ of a soft breeze of paradise and eating sorbet 🍧.... I got this on ebay for 36.00 brand new in the package. Its triple the price if not more in department stores. This fragrance is a must have. I know I will use the bottle up this ⭐summer. The peony🌺 and slight musk make this super different. Under - rated scent for sure. I freaking love it. Nothing offensive to my nose. Sheer perfection. 💐 An amazing springtime scent. Lofty and angelic but mysterious .. Just stunning. Out of 50 high end scents this was one of few that captivated my senses.. Its creamy and reminds me of a creamsicle or Peach cobbler. This is the scent that I wish whipped dream smelled like by Victoria's secret. Scrumptious.

savjlc

It took me awhile to appreciate this fragrance. The white musk is very prominent, it smells almost like cheap handsoap. Sometimes it makes me nauseous. The rest is gorgeous, a vanilla orange dream with some pretty florals. If the musk wasn’t so loud in this it would more than likely be an everyday scent.
My husband LOVES this, he mentions something every time I wear it. I think he enjoys musks more than me

I wanted to like this so bad, smells like pre scented trash bags. It's not the worst smell, but all I can think and smell is trash bags.

Wangi citrus langsung menyeruak pas pertama kali disemprot, wangi jeruknya manis & segar.

Another hot review from my bf’s imagination- he smelled it from the blotter I brought.
‘Vulgar girl in a good way. Dark bar, she is in a very tight dress, armpits are sweaty a bit, definitely in the mood of smth’.

Clean and enveloping vanilla with a hint of clementine.
Pleasant and crowd pleasing.
Suitable for any occasion and any season.

Unfortunately I can't perceive the subtleties of the perfume once sprayed on my skin.

This just makes my skin smell like freshly cleaned, dry clothes but not in a nice or enticing way. It "just" smells nice, in the sense that it doesn't even makes me want to sniff my wrist non-stop.

I understand why it's liked by many as clean scents are super popular nowadays, but as a clean scents lover myself I'm not feeling anything particular for Montblanc Signature.
