“Fleur musc represents a bold, passionate femininity; it’s a fragrance that evokes charm and grace.” - Narciso Rodriguez

Fleur Musc For Her is enchanting . A generous floral bouquet with vibrant notes envelops the signature heart of musc with warmth and sensuality. The result: a radiant sublime rose that stands alone.

“The color reveals the vibrant spirit of this pink floral scent. It’s a more brilliant shade of pink than our signature pink for a simple reason: it reflects the woman who wears it and defines the beautiful natureof fleur musc.” - Narciso Rodriguez

The signature bottle containing Fleur Musc is a vivid resounding pink, a new color for the fragrance collection. The color reflects the warmth and indomitable nature of Fleur Musc For Her as the new fragrance adds an intriguing chapter to the always evolving for her story.

Fleur Musc For Her is the ultimate reflection of modern women. Irresistable and addictive. Perfumers are Sonia Constant and Calice Becker.

While it’s not my personal favorite fragrance, I’ve received numerous compliments when wearing it. The scent exudes a sense of maturity and sophistication, making it a great choice for special occasions or when you want to leave a lasting impression.

AdalynEverly

First impressions:
This smells like narciso rodriguez for her EDP -patchouli, amp up the rose, and peony. I’m not a rose lover so let’s see if this is an exception to the rule.
Edit 1:
So this is definitely For Her Edp but more of a refined version or kind of like Delina. however, it’s not as sour as Delina. In the beginning it does have that rose water skin care products smell, then I quickly dries down to a dewy powdery rose like For Her esp. I like it, but I feel that this fragrance smells all too common for me.
Verdict- pass for my signature scent.

Favorite women fragrance right now

From all For Her editions Narciso Rodriguez launched, Fleur Musc is my personal favourite. It’s so good and long lasting that is close in my heart to Atomic Rose by Initio, my all time favourite rose scent! Compared to that, this is more powdery, peony heavy and less intense smelling. But for summer time weather, Fleur Musc is better suited since it’s not so overwhelming.

Fleur Musc is a sweet pink pepper, rose, peonies, violet, musk and amber blend. Soft spicy, velvety, powdery, musky, floral sweet yet fresh, warm and comforting, with hints of patchouli. Masterfully balanced and very addictive smelling. What makes this stand out apart from all other rose forward perfumes is the strong peony note. I absolutely adore how peonies smell like. Fleur Musk feels so sweet, uplifting and youthful. Delicate and uber feminine. Cotton candy vibes. Like the pink colour of that classic, simple bottle … Harmonious and hopeful. Like when smelling this, everything is going to be okay…

I hope this will never be discontinued because there’s nothing on the market as beautiful as Fleur Musc for me. I should probably get a back up bottle just in case…

It's a love/hate relationship with NR Fleur Musc. When I first had it on my skin, I was head over heels, I thought at first that I prefer this over Musc Noir Rose but after a few days of exposure, I got really bored by it and picked up the old madam vibe to it. At other days, I fell inlove again. I think it depends on the weather than the skin.

I'm not much of a fan of peonies but NR made it tolerable in Fleur Musc. Gotta give them that.

jademcd

Smells like a fresh, wet rose in the morning. It's slightly citrussy and powdery. After a few minutes, everything blends up very well. Fleur Musc doesn't smell synthethic at all. It is different from the other designer, crowd-pleasing florals on the market. I wouldn't recommend this as a blind buy, especially for the price. The musk can almost be overpowering even though I love the Pure Musc flanker. Sillage is moderate.

notesbymynose

It’s very powdery and kinda soapy, definitely a rose fragrance. To me, it’s a very sexy rose scent as it lacks sweetness or creaminess. This is just straight up powdery rose musk.

PearlGarden

I think this is an unique scent, which I don't come across often. I think most people would love this. Smells like sparkling champagne with a fresh bouquet of flowers. Dry and crisp. Love it ! I think it would suit anyone and at any season.

Kerberos

A very special perfume. It is rather sweet at first and later becomes bitter. Very good staying power! I have received many compliments :)

HeatherNS

I love this. A very youthful, sweet, fresh take on rose and peony. I think the pink pepper is giving me a cedar, pencil shavings vibe in the background. This would be the perfect spring scent.

rene.saller

Pretty peony-rose on a bed of musks and woods. I like Fleur Musc a lot and am glad to have the travel sprayer decant, but I don't feel an urgent need to add the full bottle (darling as it is) to my collection, as much as I like this fragrance, and as much as I love rose fragrances in general. That's only because I have other perfumes with this general profile; if someone gave me a bottle, I'm sure I would be delighted. Fleur Musc would be a very difficult perfume to dislike: it's refined and evenly balanced, with a smooth and minty patchouli that doesn't veer off into stinky-hippie-headshop territory. I think I can become slightly noseblind to ambroxan, but it's impossible to say without a full wearing (these impressions are from a single back-of-the-hand spray).

Kerberos

Beautiful rose/peony (I feel both) scent with a hint of pepper. So elegant! And also I receive lots of compliments when I wear this 🌹

washudtoj

I get only bittery synthetic florals on this one. It's probably just too headachy for me.

I'll stick with the EdP. This Fleur Musc flanker is too strong and chemical.

BritneyPerfume4Eva

An extremely beautiful and feminine perfume. Floral, powdery, lipsticky. I feel beautiful when I wear this.

A cheapie dupe for Fleur Musc is Next's Pink, which is odd because its bottle is clearly a copy of a Chloe perfume!

Diyaa

This flanker definitely has the same scent profile as the other ones from this line ,but this one is for the floral lovers. If you are a fan of a crisp rose, you will love it! To be fair it does smell very similar to the other rosé fragrances from this line but this one is an overdose of rose and patchouli.I use this to layer in colder days with sweeter fragrances but in summer you can wear it by itself and it performs beautifully.

thaochipnd

Full of floral scent. The scent of Rose is fragrant, creating a very gentle, soft symphony. Musk is not so strong as other versions of this perfume. Perhaps my favorite scent of the Nar family does not give me a headache or discomfort. I like it very much, Fleur Musc brings a very feminine, graceful and luxurious fragrance. It's great that it can be fully used in hot summer days.

Rating: 8/10. It's a shame because I really like this luxurious scent, but longevity is weak on my skin

Imogenr17

Looking at the notes, I thought I’d be a fan of this considering how much I love peony, but sadly it wasn’t for me. All I could smell was Libra pads from my teenage years! 😅 It was a lovely scent, but not something I want to walk around smelling like.

liebe

A fresh, sweet, slightly spicy, rose with a hint of soapiness. This perfume preserves the old school, Narciso Rodriguez, DNA, that we are all familiar with while the pink peppercorn gives it a sweetness that compliments the rose and lends a modern vibrancy . There is a hint of patchouli that gives it some fresh spice, but doesn’t smell to earthy or hippy. I am normally not a fan of patchouli but it does give the fragrance some depth and it anchors the dry down. The silage is medium and the projection is more than arm’s length. People can definitely smell you when you leave the room. I am going to mix this with Love & Planet’s , coconut, and rose to give it some creaminess. If anything, this perfume lacks creaminess, if you’re a creamy fragrance lover, and that should add a little bit more depth to it.

luanneog

To me it smelled less dated tha Narciso Rodriguez For Her. Yet it's very similar to it as well as Pure Musc. I can smell the peony as well as the rose. It's soapy, has spa like quality to it. Clean, musky. But I couldn't smell the pepper. Somewhat sweet.

Maggs001

Just found out today this gorgeous perfume has been discontinued.. the narciso rouge as well... Why?? :(

princesslopez4890

First I’mpressions, she is gorgeous. Im getting loads of peony and I love it, the rose is beautiful as well a bit sharp but it’s fine, no pink pepper so far that I can smell but I’m ok with that. Im also getting the musc and the patchouli but it’s nice and toned down, compliments the fragrance very well. So far no violet thank goodness I hate that note and it was something I was worried about when considering this purchase. Hopefully it doesn’t pop up in the dry down. I will update on longevity, silage, compliments ect once I’ve given it a full days wear. If you love the note of peony this is a really good one, give it a try!

AuthenticAF

Today i am wearing this, one of my all time faves EVER, with one spray of hermes eau des merveille edt (i dont know how to spell that) and the combo is just heaven.
The musk floral orange citrus is so gorgeous, so fresh, so clean and crisp. I am on the train and i feel like i am protected in a beautiful bubble of sparkles and diamonds that protects me from all of the horrible scents (bo, urine, etc) on the train. This combo has magical powers.

perfuMEOWW

Fell in love from the first sniff! This is the only NR musc perfume that's worth a full bottle for me. Probably because this is the most bright floral out of all and I'm a floral girl.

On my skin it's very simple, not complex. In the beginning the pink pepper surely gives a kick in a sophisticated way, then it's just fresh musky rose, it's not sweet or creamy, just fresh musky rose that's mature and versatile, sexy in an alluring way, not seductive. Give this a try if you love rose!

LadyMuck

Bit too dry to my nose and I don't like the pink pepper much.
I use this as a layering fragrance and combine it with sweet fragrances to make it more wearable.

Although I love some other Narcisco Frangrance's more I find they have no staying power on me which is sad
because they are often the most gorgeous feminine fragrances around.

lola911

I agree with lulavalentine… this scent is beautiful and so addicting! I tried several times to like the for her edt, but there was always something about it that bothered me (maybe a tad too mature), but this is perfect! Same dna, but added notes that make it a little smoother and more modern, imo. I could see this working for a signature or special occasion scent, so versatile.

Mammajamma

First impressions-
Dewy pink rose petals and pink pepper (which has roses nuances, not hot like black pepper) which becomes creamier as time goes on. Some musk comes in but not as crazily strong as in the For Her edt and edp and maybe some peony is trying to keep some freshness in the mix. Dries down to a softer rosy, slightly powdery version of FH edp with a little patchouli.
Fleur Musc- fresh, smooth, musky
Stella- Dewy rose on a clean white amber
Chloe- Sharp, bright, soapy rose
This will be my favorite rose perfume besides Stella!

LulaValentine

Just tested this in store for the first time and I can’t stop smelling my wrist. My god this is immaculate. It’s developed into a beautiful rosy floral musk with just a hint of spice. I’m trying to stop myself from impulse buying a bottle online. I seriously can’t get enough of this one! It is absolutely divine!

Update: I have no self control and did indeed order a bottle of it. RIP my bank account.

SerenaLovesKanye

Sharp beautiful rose, the colour of the bottle is perfect for the top to mid display of notes. The dry down is where that gorgeous Narciso Rodriguez musk comes to settle in. This is a gorgeous scent, excellent longevity, all parts of this perfume are gorgeous and I love the top, the heart and the base. It's elegant and the musk is marshmallow sexy.

ohmydarlingcats

One of not many roses I can appreciate. I like how pink pepper works with musk here. Very classy composition.

LadyMuck

I have such mixed feelings about this fragrance.
It's a simple clean musk rose but that pink pepper really gets to me in the wrong way.

There are days that when it leaves me with a headache and so I am wary and therefore hardly reach for it.

I don't know why I purchased it as I stay clear of predominately pink pepper fragrances, but I usually like the Narcisco Rodriguez scents and took the risk. I think I was also drawn to the colour of the bottle which I loved. (Not a good reason to buy a fragrance.)
I love the soft rose that does come through in the drydown as does the violet, amber and musk of course but I wish I didn't get that blast of pink pepper. 5/10

Heathermarie8617

I haven't tried any of the the Narcisso line before, but came across Musc Fleur for a steal of $27 each, so naturally I had to buy the two boxes that were left. I'm a fan of rose fragrances as well as musk so I figured this would be a safe blind buy...and I was right. This is a very powdery, musky, clean rose scent...not exactly like Lazy Sunday Morning by Replica, but most definitely in the same family. I can understand why many would not enjoy this but to me it is very pleasent and to my nose, comes across very clean. I think this would be a safe wear for anytime of year for any occasion, but I agree with the statistics saying this leans to more of a daytime Spring scent. I'm only on my first wear so if my opinion changes, I will update my review. But for now, I think it's nice. Would I spend full price for this? Probably not. But again, maybe this will grow on me over time. Luckily a little goes a long way, so my two bottles will last forever. Cheers!

Edit: Husband suffers from migraines and hates it. Bummer :(

schatzrose

🌹🌹 Such a pleasant and innocent perfume and for some reason it turns my boyfriend on…😍
Also it reminds me of NR For Her black bottle which I enjoyed very much a few years back. This one is rather a softer and hard not to like version.

alternateu

It opened REALLY peppery and "dry" on me, then the rose started to bloom. It's a very waxy, lipsticky rose on my skin.
Not a fan - I almost solely get pepper, and waxy lipstick rose. Not much blending or harmony here.
Longevity - about 7-8 hours on my skin
Projection - minimal

SophiaViolette

Stunning rosy-floral, feminine and sophisticated opening. Very organic smelling, musky and a hint peppery.

The patchouli as a base brings some lovely fresh notes.
A by it disappointed by the dry-down, smells just like ‘Musc For Her’ with a drop of watery rose.
If you’re looking for a soft rose, and you like the musc from this line, buying two isn’t necessary.

What else to say, It’s simple : spring is here!

This is my absolute favourite perfume. For me it feels like personality in a bottle sometimes. It has a non-grandma rose scent with the warmth of musk/patchouli/pink pepper. Sad that it is no longer (at least from what I can see) in production as I was considering making sure this was in my collection forever and narrowing down my collection to this and a few others as this is literally my go to almost every day.

Nocciola23

This is a very sweet, Turkish delight rose with some pepper. I really enjoyed it, but it didn't strike me as being very unique.
It is similar to roses musk by Montale but I don't think this lasts as long.

juniperlilacs

I’d never done a blind buy of perfume before but got this as one because I wanted a rose forward scent with some freshness. I’ve had NR as my perfume since the original was released, and appreciating their subtlety I thought there was no way I could possibly dislike anything from them. And I was right on the initial spray, it was delightful, though the freshness faded quickly and a much more warm spicy note than I was expecting took over. Almost masculine. It added a surprise desert vibe when the reviews had said it smelled more English garden. This was not a garden in spring sunshine but a spice market on a hot summer night. Still pleasant with its signature musk heart, just a lot heavier than I was expecting, and the single spray took over my house. 40 minutes later the musk was gone entirely and I was scrubbing if off my arms to try and stop the headache it caused. I felt like I’d jammed a whole packet of cinnamon sticks up my nose, and now I’ll be sadly trying to recoup some of my money on eBay.

Updated: I gave the bottle away and on that person it smells like roses. Still with a hint of spice market but for depth, not the one note violent cinnamon sticks it turned into on me. Truly body chemistry dependant, apparently!

Gigi7891

This reminds me of my aunts Tea Rose perfume. It was so cheap she kept it in the bathroom by the toilet as a room spray. I definitely am learning I like the noir flankers only from this line.

Katelynl88

It ok . This perfume smells very very similar to Gevinchy irresistible and flowerbomb midnight , it’s nice but it’s just so similar to those others , I won’t be buying the full size , my fave nr perfume so far is musc noir rose , I just realized today , I’ve been reading and saying music , and not musc lmao . Oh wow . This one pairs great with the nr poudre perfume! The 2 together just blend magically

Sjess

I have a sample of this and happy that it is just a sample because this is really not my thing. Too freshly sweet, absolutely zero sillage & longevity, nothing outstanding about this, could've been any cheap discountstore scent. I sprayed it on and it was gone within 30 minutes. Which wasn't too bad for me since I didn't like it at all.

alyacholid

I thought the perfume would be sweeter, but it is not sweet at all! I love the combination of pink pepper, rose, and musk. If you're looking for a feminine, sophisticated, and grown up perfume, I would recommend you to try this!

Kcbear28

I wish the projection was better on me. I love the smell of it but I can only smell it for the first 10 mins. Now if I layer with my other rose perfumes e.g. Tea Rose, Rose Prick, it becomes alive. I won’t get rid of it because that very reason.

AuthenticAF

I wore this with burberry her edp today and it smelled AMAZING. I dont know which one i smell more, but love the combo of the two together! One of the best combos so far!

Update: i did the same combo again^ as i described above. Yes, i realize it is prob not the correct season for these two together, but bc i can really smell this, i really enjoy it. (Finding i am anosmic to quite a few notes) Wanted to say the fleur musc is very beautiful alone, smells clean and soapy to me.

Also: i recently bought a small bottle of kayali sweet diamond pink pepper and i absolutely adore it. If you like fleur musc you would prob like that too. It is in the same family, but sweet diamond is…well sweeter! I think it projects more also. Both are great, but i think SDPP is a bit better:)

Bouquet Bleu

I deeply regret buying the big bottle. It is loud as hell. Peony, pepper, musk. Screaming even just with 1 spray.

Lili1105

If you like roses and rose oil, yes! If you like peonies and distinctly floral scents, then yes! If you don't like roses very much, or at all, or you're afraid of them, then definitely not! According to the bottle, I guessed that the perfume would be sweeter, but it is not sweet at all, which surprised me. Do not expect any special development in the fragrance, but on the other hand it is pleasant, soft, more or less fresh, probably thanks to the peony, and romantic. The rose dominates, but the peony is not exactly the weakest either. Somewhere in the background, a very fine powder smells. It's like a bouquet of pink flowers dusted with powder. I don't feel much musk, but it can be layered with Pure Musc, for example, if someone wants. Personally, I don't like florals, but I think this fragrance didn't spoil anything even though it was a blind buy. I think it will be more beautiful in warmer weather than now. The smell strongly reminds me of something, but I can't figure out what. Anyway, if you like roses in perfumes and floral scents, not sweet, then this is a safe blind buy.

Bethanyg

I love the combination of rose and pink pepper! A good representative of a gentle mood!

Jajally

First spray I smell florals that in 10 mins later turns sour? It’s not what I thought it’d be. I barely feel musk and amber. What lingers on me is a weird sour-y smell that reminds me of dior poison and my old perfume that i hate. I think it might be peony?
Anyway the sillage is not good for me too. It lasts on me 3 hrs max
Maybe I have to try it in another season. But for now it’s a no for me

momotrips

This is MY scent. It is a mix of the things I love - a musky, warm undertone with the amber and patchouli, but not in your face like my old-time college 80s powerhouse Opium. Then oh, that pink pepper. Followed by a bright floral with delicate rose - no granny here - with the muskiness lingering. Very, very feminine, but not at all girly. If I want to punch up the sophistication (and the sillage/longevity), I also spray on (in different spots) a little Coco Madamoiselle. ALWAYS get the "you smell SO good" comments sometimes followed by the awkward closeness of people that want to go in for a second sniff. That doesn't happen with any other thing I wear except my cheap TJMaxx specials, Jessica Simpson Fancy or Fancy Love. (Ha! Those are crowd pleasers! Maybe it's just on me. I think her scents are surprisingly complex for a celebrity brand.) I am sad that Fleur Musc is a flanker that seems to be out of production. I just purchased two bottles to try to get me through the next couple of years - Nordstrom sometimes has a few stashed somewhere. If anyone knows of a widely available dupe for this - no matter the price - I would be eternally grateful!

Penhaligoons

I might just be anosmic to this but truly no matter how many times I spray, I can barely smell it.

The fleeting musky and floral scent is there, but it is a skin scent on me almost immediately after applying. I love musk and I know NR takes it to another level with that note, so I will continue trying this. I only wonder if it's just me! Everyone else seems to say that this projects heavily- one can only hope!

Autumn_Moon

It never ceases to amaze me... there are so many different ways to experience each specific floral note. I have a few rose-dominant perfumes in my collection, and each of those fragrances has a different atmosphere and suits a different occasion or mood. Fleur Musc For Her is, to me, powerful, confident, and unafraid. This is not the sort of perfume that'll falter when making a statement, soften its opinions to avoid causing offense, or glance at your shoes when speaking to you. Oh, no. This one looks you dead in the eye and doesn't blink.

If My Burberry Black (which, don't get me wrong, is *also* a love of mine) is a dark, wet, humid rose, then Fleur Musc For Her is an olfactory 180 in many ways -- it's equally potent, but it inhabits the other end of the spectrum. FMFH feels, to me, more like a "dry" rose -- a rose that was grown in arid conditions. This rose has endured hardships... perhaps drought... but it's a survivor, and it blooms in all its fierce glory, remaining bold and defiant despite its harsh environment.

The musk makes the difference here, I think; instead of being a "clean" rose or an "innocent" rose or a "dewy" rose, Fleur Musc For Her - with its signature musk note in the base -- brings a touch of humanity to the composition. It's not feral or animalic, by any means -- rather, it's warm and inviting (while still managing to feel as though spraying this on your wrist could magically suck all of the humidity out of a room -- a glorious dream if ever there was one, especially if you live in a humid climate and wish you didn't). I adore the olfactory cocoon this perfume creates around me when I wear it!

I used to think, "Well, I don't go for powdery fragrances, really..." This one changed my mind, as it *is* powdery, but not in a way that felt unnatural to me. It's not "baby powder." It's something far more complex than that.

If a perfume can be judged by how it makes the wearer feel, well... this one is a true winner to me. Does it get compliments? Yes, but that's not the point. The point is... it makes me feel invincible when I wear it -- and that makes it a useful fragrance to have in my arsenal.

It remains compelling, and it's a treasured part of my collection.

Dramaloladiva

Fleur Musc For Her!!! 🤍💖🤍💖
So very beautiful!! Musk, roses, amber, very slight patchouli and more florals but all in quiet beauty and sheer simplicity. It is an absolute love from me!!

I layered this beauty (by mistake) with Bottega Veneta (the Original) and it is spectacular! The pink pepper and patchouli notes in these two scents speak to each other when blended and it is wonderful!
Happy mistake indeed!!

Kuty22

There's something amazing in this fragrance's drydown, that violet amber combo... Amazing
I'm not a fan of the opening and NR musk is a no for my taste.
I can't help it, it always reminds me of 'old'/granny scents but at the same time it smells like a rich aunty or what I imagine 90's stars would smell like 🤔
😂😂
It's so weird
But I do like this fragance a lot, lasts forever on clothes

grapefruit352

Test before purchasing. Too many of musc, like in all the rest scents of Narcisco. Rose here is fine otherwise, feels more like a rose water. Musc of course is creepy.

P.S: I have to say that my experience with this fragrance is suddenly so much improved! From dislike it turned into LOVE! Now, when it is chilly weather, rainy- musk became more silent and roses are just top-top players here. Feeling myself in the rose garden!

rajnigandha

I am writing this review after having exhausted an entire bottle of this magnificence.
Imagine yourself lying in a Rose garden, all pink and bright and airy with a clear and open sunny sky. You are content and cheerful but not loud. The roses are sweet and ripe and warm (probably because of musk and patch).
A great scent from Narciso. As soon as I find one for a good price, I'll grab it. Although on me, the sillage and longevity aren't great, but the scent is really something. I wouldn't recommend it for very hot and humid weather, then it just becomes sickly sweet and stuffy.

Fleur Musc For Her, By Narciso Rodriguez:

🗣This Is Absolute "PERFECTION" In A Bottle For Me, Where As I Actually Find Myself Reaching More And More For This Daily Than Any Of The Other Narciso Rodriguez Fragrances I Own. And To Be Perfectly Honest, I Much Prefer "Fleur Musc" To The Original Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP & EDT, As This One Seem's To Project On My Skin So Much Better, Than All The Rest Of Them, With The Exception Of Narciso Poudree, Plus When Im Wearing This Stunning Beauty, It Never Fails To Draw The Most Loveliest Compliments From Both Family, Friends And Even Complete Strangers Alike!! It's So Well Done And Expertly Blended With The Most Beautiful Soft Rose, Peony, Musk And Patchouli To Absolute Perfection, This Could Be Anyone's Signature Scent Without A Doubt!! And Most Certainly Does'nt Smell Like An Old Lady Or Grandma's Perfume!! The Longevity Is Also Excellent At Around 15-18 Hrs!! Pure Undiluted Class In A Bottle!!

leelopedian

Musk bomb and roses, When I pass by garden I smelled exactly the same. It is kind of perfume you put to release your feminine power and happiness not to impress anyone. It gives charming delightful feeling, not love at first sniff but with time I felt its charming character. I think it is better to be used in cold or spring weather as its smell and projection last longer, and its longevity is 2 hrs max in hot weather.

SimonsTux

Powdery, musky rose. Not sweet. Reminiscent of NR Rose Extase. Surprisingly unique. The vibe is pink, flowy/tiered cotton dresses, gardens, spring.

Sillage/projection very good; received compliments from strangers outdoors. Longevity decent. 7/10

ipekevren

It is my worst blind shopping. After I tried it just for once, I ran to the shower. I think it is the pepper that disturbs me. I had the same feeling when I tried Marc Jacobs Lola years ago. It might be a good one for a lot of you but personally I hate it. I hid it in a drawer so that I will never ever come across with the box again.

For the reference, I am a NR fan. My signature perfume is For her Edt. I quite enjoy Ambree and the black cube.

Trallala

I’m at the beginning of a new relationship, and wanted a fragrance that reflects my mood. This one smells how romantic love feels like.

luri4581

Just wanted to come back for a second review, to give this divine fragrance some more love. I've worn it all autumn, and it strikes me as the perfect perfume for the fall. It's beautifully earthy-musky; I get that more than floral, but it's a beautiful blend. I see here that some can smell pencil shavings, and I do notice this, too, although it's not a bad thing. Seriously in love with this fragrance for cooler weather.

Rozalina

Tip: you definitely need to test NR fragrances on skin. On me, Fleur Musc is (very lightly) rose-scented, super sharp pencil shavings mixed with a somewhat animalic musk, but mostly pencil shavings. Pink pepper is a finicky note- in Chanel Chance, this note smells gorgeous on me, but in NR Fleur Musc it’s entirely too much, it’s almost cedar-y.

Mary.am1

When I notice the word (floral) in any perfume description, I worry that it could smell like an old lady .. This one is not like that at all .

This was a blind risky purchase.. but I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this perfume 😍
Definitely unique , On the initial spray , Musk is the main note but not overpowering .
On the dry down.. The light peony-rosy note shines through so softly.

I picture a mature women wearing this , maybe between 25 to 35 .. With a soft look wearing light colored dress with wind blowing in her hair, her date just gave her a bouquet of white roses .
Just a romantic smell in general 🥰🥰
(Longevity is great 4-5 hours, Sillage is decent for a floral perfume, suitable for spring/fall daytime )

Edit: Someone literally stopped me on the street the other day asking me what perfume i'm wearing to gift it to his gf .. and multiple co-workers mentioned that I smell so good like baby powder 😂❤️❤️ I have so many strange things happen whenever I wear this.

ScentedPlaza

Femininity in a bottle! Versatile and memorable. Pink roses with stems and delicate dark peonies. The transparent feel musk wraps them all in a perfect bouquet!

luri4581

My current favourite! <3 I don't know how I didn't discover this until late last year, but it was definitely love at first smell. Just so sexy. Heavenly. I find it almost unisex, was a bit surprised to see a few comments quipping about it being very girly. But yeah, just soo gorgeously musky. Velvety, sensual, rounded, voluptuous, full bodied. It's now autumn in Australia, my birthday season, and it's my current signature. Mmm mmm mmmm, divine. I realize I must love pink pepper as my other current fave is a cheapie by the Body Shop called Lover.

Based on the other reviews, I think this one is really reliant on skin chemistry and/or personal smell. Much more so than most perfumes. It appears to be very polarising, with many people getting a harsh/screechy chemical smell. I don't get that at all. For me it is all roses and musk. Its *almost* a two note perfume on me, the rose and musk notes really overwhelm anything else in there. On me it is very linear from first spray to drydown. So, this could be a risky blind buy.

Great for spring and some summer days. I know Narciso Rodriguez is an american house, but this fragrance is so English to me. Brit girls seem to love those musky florals. It's also really well suited for an English summer (read: warm but not hot). I don't think this would do well in heat. Longevity is good (4-6 hrs?) on a mild day, and ok (3?) in warm weather.

Its a love for me, I wear this a lot in spring.

Lalex

It smells like butter-warm-rose on me, creamy, soft, warm, gently intoxicating.

I think the musk is playing games on me always, sometimes in good ways, sometime in bad ways. The first try i couldn't even smell any rose, not even sweet scent, just strong musk.
I've tried my best after few unsuccessful tries, i ended with moisturised scentless skin in hopes i get to the good part without messing with the scent of perfume, then i get to the rose in it.

I'm supposed to love it, but i don't. I feel like i smell like granny that love pink, thought i can't say is mature-mature scent. And i like rose scents that are well blended and balanced, but this is straight rose, warm rose.

I couldn't make myself like it.

Boldtalk

As hard as I tried to love Pure Musc it definitly doesn’t work for me, there is a sour note that feels like rotten flowers in my nose, I hate when there a good scents that get that kind of reaction from my nose.
But … Fleur Musc it’s mesmerizing, a clean and light scent with all of the other notes working to make the rose shine.
I could wear it everywhere, everyday and every season …an absolute staple for breastfeeding mothers, job interviews or the office, traveling, bedtime … really versatile.
Even though it doesn’t resembles to the cube line, I would definitely trade all of my my cubes (White, Rouge, Ambree) with the exception of my beloved Narciso Poudree for this fragrance …
It could easily become a signature scent.

twiztidladii

For someone like me who dislikes Rose fragrances, I can tell that this one is atleast done well.

mustlovetravelanddogs

I actually prefer this one over the original For Her EDP and EDT. It's rounder and fresher, no heavy florals and powder, just a beautiful peony soapiness and musk. And the bottle is to die for! Love!

yaosumi

loved all the other lines of NR except for this one. this gave me a massive headache after trying out a sample from the store. i waited for it to dry down hoping that the strong opening would subside but to no avail. it's a nope in a bottle for me that's for sure.

TheMunchkinlander

I was in a rush when I got this one instead of the pale pink bottle. I don't have ill feelings against it, but there's a certain screechiness that makes me feel uneasy, on edge. Other than that I find it clean and girly. It does get softer as it dries on the skin, with a more powdery feeling than on paper. As I am attracted towards more masculine leaning fragrances, it didn't have anything that made me want to keep it in my collection. Get it if you like dewy florals and girly girl vibes.

Ruby Galore

This one is much better on the skin than on the blotter!!

At first it seemed like a sharp rose, I didn’t like it. After a couple of hours I smell a light powdery sweet scent. Much better.

realitygreene

At first this smelled like a wilting bouquet of roses in a damp musty towel. Dirty florals. Musky for sure. After about 20 minutes it’s a lot better - the rose, peony, and patchouli are downright pleasant. However, I just don’t think that I would want to wear this much. Idk. It’s kind of like a way lighter version of JHAG Mad Madame. I’m undecided tbh.

elisa.fuentes.1

Soap,y uplifting .cute

LemonLane

I wanted to love this. The bottle is GORGEOUS and I love rose. The opening is sparkly and floral and just gorgeous but after a few minutes it smells like old school potpourri. Sorry! I think I just hate all the NR fragrances.

Edit: Sooo… I was too hasty with this one and am going to eat my words. I love this scent now! I gave her a few more days and she’s lovely and lasts eternally and for sure a keeper! Perfect for spring and I’ve layered her with Angel Nova EDT and it’s divineeeee.

Mariamaija Amélie

Such a beautiful "pink" perfume. Sweet, dewy roses and musc. It's somewhat dense in its texture, I think, but I don't mind at all. Layering this one with a woody scent like Glistening Amber from Juicy Couture is a great combo, to my nose :) Layering with this in general, in my opinion, is just a great idea for adding some more dewy, sweet "pinkness" to other scents.
Lasting power is not bad but, but in any case I will just spray away without a care. Fleur Musc is so enjoyable and feminine/womanly. I just love it.

Violinhead8120

If only this springtime bouquet had a little more pizazz and personality to it. It smells too much like a Miss Dior blooming bouquet flanker for me to remain interested. Fleur Musc, to me, is overly sharp, a little screechy, synthetic, and it’s giving me anything and everything BUT those fresh and blooming dewdrop-on-a-flower, springtime garden party associations that I was looking for. Something about it just is nowhere near uplifting or bright. It’s too musky, dusty and deep, reminds me of dead flowers in an attic, and that musk doesn’t play well on my skin with the florals. What’s worse is that it lasts for all of 3 hours on me, no matter what I do or how I moisturize my skin prior to applying this.I detect the faintest hint of (and don’t read on if you think someone’s description will change your own perception of the scent) mothballs in the background of this fragrance, and this association remains throughout the fragrance’s life on my skin as well. To my possibly broken nose, this is sharp, linear, boring. I have tried much better from this house. Will use up my decant but will not purchase.

olllivia

This has an elegant rose and floral-dominant opening and the dry down reveals a warm musk note with that pink pepper spice lingering as well. Neither the rose nor the musk are “old lady” like, as the rose note is fresh rather than powdery so it balances out the musk. More feminine/sophisticated than it is sexy as it has no sweetness or fruitiness.

I think if you don’t enjoy rose this may not be for you as rose really does feature quite prominently in this.

Possibly more suited to cooler weather. On me it doesn’t have that same level of the sharpness in the original For Her EDT and EDP. Fleur musc is definitely a bit more soft and clean, where florals of rose & peony are the main event and musk/spice feature in the background. I get more spice than musk but that clean NR musk is still definitely there.

This could be a great choice for people who want a sophisticated fragrance but don’t love the other musk-oriented Narciso Rodriguez options.

oHei8

Before trying this one I didn't really know what eternal means. This one stays for days if you don't wash it. It's really nice but there a certain undernote that can bothers me at times.

Little_dragon

Based on the notes I should love this. But there’s something that pulls really sharp (like, sour) on me that I can’t quite pinpoint. This is true of several of the other NR scents. I don’t think it’s the pink pepper here; I can certainly detect the peppery note (which I normally love and even seek in a frag), but it’s not the culprit. NR musks tend not to be the deeper, bass-y grounding musks that I prefer, but this could still be a very appealing one for rose lovers.

laviebunny

Rosy and musky, just perfect. It won't make you smell like an old lady. A versatile choice because you can use it as day and night perfume.

Not overpowering, still elegant. The silage and longevity are good.

amy33

It's just what the name says it is: rose and musc...so simple, but yet so perfect! This is cozy, uplifting, no clogging, calm and present. I keep smelling it and loving it on me all day long. This is not the perfume you wear to impress or to be noticed from across the room, but the one you wear for yourself and those close to you who will give you a hug or a kiss and be carried by the coziness of the perfume you wear.

Hales_McSnails

I really like this scent. It's warm, floral, spicy and woody. Not sweet or fruity which I am very glad about. It lasts a long time but it's very close to the skin on me. I do wish it had a little bit more projection. Overall, I enjoy it and wear it all the time.

smellysmellycat

Awesome musky flower scent with great sillage! A bitter rosey notes in the opening, turns into a calmer relaxing musky flower scent. It stays all day long and my favorite part, unlike other perfumes nowadays, you too can smell yourself. Love it!

WGG

My wife has this and is on her third bottle. As the notes say, rose and musk. It's a feminine and quite grown up perfume, I enjoy her wearing it very much. Better for cooler months, turns funky in high heat.

Szafirowy czar

Nice daytime fragrance, I'll get back here and leave a more accurate review once I wear it more often

Tsatsenskaya

So interesting to read in the review below that this mixes well with other fragrances. That is exactly my experience. I love it on its own, but would mostly wear it in the spring time. However, this goes so well mixed with other scents. I admit, I mostly use it mixed with something. Today I am wearing it with Chanel no 5. If the scent you are mixing it with has rose, this will amp up that rose. Love it with La Panthère and with oud-rose scents. It tends to make other scents prettier and soft, more wearable too.
On its own, it is a beautiful pink scent, fluffy, lightly sweet and musky. All year-round and outstanding performance.

Dragonweengs

I’ve tested this for almost a year, all seasons. I got a full bottle and have mixed it w/ other fragrances and it works great!
It does have the NR musk and it’s strong in the rose and I get like a ceder type wood that I also smelled in NR Poudree. The Amber does bring creaminess to the dry down. It is extremely long lasting and projecting so I don’t over spray.
I found it difficult to wear in the summer. What I did was mix it to tone down the rose. Depending on the season, I’ve mixed it with Light Blue, La Petite Robe Noir Black Perfecto, Warm Vanilla Sugar B&BW.

vrinsun

It's a beautiful, soft MUSKY ROSE scent.
My mom got a bottle for herself, and at first i didn't like it. i grew to love how it smells on her.
Such a strong fragrance! i could smell the trail where she walked, it is also very long lasting. That's my favorite part of this perfume, of Narciso Rodriguez perfumes in general, they worth your money!

You can wear it all year round, as it has a bit of freshness and lightness, but also some heaviness and creaminess.

To me it's too rosy, i am not a big fan of rose, but people who love rose will love this perfume and i highly reccoment it!
Smelling my mom wearing this perfume made me want to get a bottle of Narciso rodrigues perfume myself!

keithscents

Such a pretty bottle. I love pink and I know I am going to get this because the color just screams me. For the scent, initial spray is awful - I even thought that I would not like it but the dry down is just amazing. Rose is very prominent on my skin and I found myself just sniffing on my skin all the time because the rose note really lingers and is so beautiful on me. Projection is not the best, but not bad. Would stay 5-6 hrs on skin.

Rating this 8/10

aliengunaydin

Such a beauty! Can this one be the clean soapy and sexy fragrance that I was looking for? I think it can. Fresh sexy cold rose and clean soapiness with musk. Don’t come for me but I will say I kinda see similarities with the vibe of very good girl and modern muse (which I adore as floral musk)

lesritesdelavie

This is unapologeticly feminine fragrance. The loud hyperfeminine peony jumps into your face and lands you between soft musky pillows. This not a fragrance to wear to impress men but rather to make yourself happy. Comfort fragrance perfect for a day in, when eating a cake in a cashmere sweater.

sallyming

Fleur musc can be worn in the morning while the For Her EDP (pink) is more of an evening wear. I blind bought fleur musc and I love it. It's the younger sister of the EDP which I also love. I think it's because we are now in the colder months that my nose prefers quite mature scents. I tried For Her in the summer and I felt nauseated. However, Fleur Musc has a shorter staying power than For Her.

Lalouve<3

This was also an unsuccessful blind buy. It isn't horrible but it isn't good either. At all.

It is quite synthetic smelling and it is synthetic in a bad way. This is unworthy of the narciso name and quality and I wonder what they were thinking when they released it.

Not worth the price, don't buy if you have the chance to test it first (I hadn't so I took the risk.It paid off with quite a few Narciso perfumes, just not this one. Also, not with Narciso l'eau, but that has to do with my chemistry that isn't a fan of the leading note (lily of the valley), and not how this perfume is made).

Florind

It smells neither pink nor fleur.

too plain, too flat, but nice

Top - This mixture is not right (for me).
Middle - fresher & lighter NR. Something is deleted from NR.
Base - pepper + dirty brown, animalic + sparkling, nutty.

RaghdaN

Let me start off by saying that this is NOT a perfume that I would normally gravitate toward, but I received a sample of this with a purchase, and I'm always more than willing to try out a new scent.

I LOVED the opening. I feel like pink pepper is underrated as a fragrance note, but I have to say that it's a force to be reckoned with. To my disappointment, however, it lasted for a very short time, dethroned by the clean, beautiful musk Narciso fragrances are known for.

On my skin, the rose takes time to appear, but it's safe to say that the musk remains the predominant note throughout the life of the fragrance.

I like it. It's pleasant and feminine, but it's not ME.

I'm more into dark, oriental fragrances, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm going wear the heck out of my sample.

Jeremy's Girlfriend

I usually stalk this site for reviews but have never been motivated to sign up....until now. I just had to register and comment on this fragrance, maybe my opinion will dissuade someone. This fragrance is terrible. It smells like a cheap low-end old lady perfume that lasts too long and won't go away....with a strong jasmine base (I don't know why as I don't see it in the perfume pyramid.) It smells so cheap, old, and dated...I'm surprised it was launched in 2017. Worst blind buy ever (and I've had quite a few blind buys because we don't have that much range where I live and therefore I must import my perfumes). It's so bad....I've tried layering it and failed. I'll have to use it as a toilet air freshener (for the guest room that is farthest from my bedroom) I'm so bummed though, I had such high hopes. Never buying a rosy perfume ever again!

AnAriesCusp

Very clean and fresh! Great for a bright new spring summer day out for a picnic. To me, this is the same category as Versace Bright Crystal and Dior Addict Eau Fraiche.

Would definitely prefer the original For Her EDT over this.

AmazonianCat

Beautiful and feminine, elegant and gentle. Wonderful scent of modern rose and musk. Just wonderful ❤️

sarage

I got a small spray of this and was curious to try. I smell sawdust in the opening, nothing else. I feel I am in a furniture shop with fresh woody products. Why wood is not mentioned in the notes, it is in the sample's info. The dry down brings some musky rose notes in, but I am not over the sawdust. It's horrible, so not my thing. My family also wondered what smelled so "strong". The smell is more masculine than feminine, but I would not like any man in my house to smell like this.
One of the most unpleasant fragrances I've smelled during the past years.
(I know this is very negative, but please let this comment stay, because somebody with similar taste might find this helpful, especially if thinking about blind buying.)

Arctic Mom

Nice perfume for warmer weather. I smell mainly rose and musc but it blends together beautifully!

pamplemousse2

Oh wow, a very mature and sophisticated fragrance of a lady. If you've smelled the original NR for Her, you know there's this very full-bodied and rich musky floral cloud to it, and this is no exception, just more of a concentration on rose. I imagine an elegant older lady, all dressed up, at a high class tea party with this. Initial projection I can definitely smell from arm's length. I will say though, even though I mention 'mature' and 'rose,' it isn't like a classic "old lady scent" scent at all and instead feels a lot more fresh, clean, and real. There is a pinch of pepper in there, as well.

10 minutes later and it's just like a lovely musky light pink bouquet. The peony shows up a bit more I think. And a strong, round muskiness.

40 minutes later and it's been pretty linear. I feel like there's just the slightest hint of a sweet powdery violet scent added, but that's all. But really it's still been a very musky pink floral perfume with a bit of pepper. It's also obviously gone down some, but there is still quite a bit of strength to it, too. It's also a bit more sweet on the skin, but musky in the air.

I'll see how long this lasts.

4 hours later and it's become quite a bit lighter. There is still projection, but it's lighter and less. On the skin, it's definitely gotten a lot lighter in strength, but very much there still.

8 hours later and it's a faint skin scent. The scent never changed much, as well. Perhaps a touch more amber, and less floral, but definitely still a sweeter, lighter, and cleaner musky scent.

Jeandeaux

I spray this when I have the day off to bathe in its languid, plush cloud. It’s not cloying but when the notes merge in and out throughout the day it has this quality of filling my lungs with the dense scent of roses and a musk which I can only describe as chocolatey in the most natural way possible.

Super feminine and elegant, must be paired with a dress or a nice blouse.

Vanshikagangwar29

Can anyone suggest me how to layer fleur musk with which fragrance? For me its too clean scent 😕

Bouquet Bleu

I fell in love with this powdery rose peony perfume some years ago when I was looking something similar to the discontinued NR L'eau. I tested it in warm and in cold weather. I waited and finally got a 100ml bottle because I loved it and tested it multiple times, although it has very little similarity to L'eau but has that NR core.
And now I have fallen out of love with it...after 1 year or 2 of having it. It is too loud. Sillage and longevity are unbeatable, more than a spray is too much, if I perfume my neck the bedsheets will keep the smell until I wash them. It is very feminine but not subtle at all. It is quite dry and clean, but very sensual. But just too LOUD. So sad, the moral of the story is don't be greedy and never get a 100 ml of first purchase in a scent. Maybe I should get the EDT they launched after this one. If you were disappointed by EdT weakness give this a try, or dm me. I will be happy to replace my EdP for the EdT as my nose has changed.

Clean, but sexy scent, very feminine. The Rose in this one is not an old style one, but rather fresh, like a freshly cut rose. The musk gives is balance and make is well rounded and tones it down a bit, so that it’s not overpowering. Although I wear it during the day as well, I see it very suitable for a date night. This is not for the soft, helpless girl, but for a confident woman, who is independent but very feminine nonetheless.

lzak

A powdery musky Rose. I like it and love the a bottle. Very feminine and sexy in a quiet way. The Amber note makes it sensual.
Will keep it and enjoy it but I am crazy about the Poudree flanker. I LOVE that.

Irinka. K

I'm not a fan of La Vie Est Belle and compared to it, Fleur Musc is different, very different. Fleur Musc to me smell very feminine, sexy but innocent. It gives you warmth and confidence. It could be any season perfume actually, but cooler temperature makes it shine more.

krav_kitty

Very very pleasant, quality floral scent, slightly powdery on the dry down but in a pleasant way. Very elegant and put together...but it's not for me. It instantly evokes memories going to church as a teenager and hugging your friend's mom or your aunt. They are mature, dressed in a pencil skirt and an airy floral blouse and they smell just like this when the breeze blows and their perfume wafts over to you. To me theres nothing sexy about this scent, and if I was sitting in a car with a guy my age and I smelled like this, I would almost feel too mature and elegant for him, and I dont feel like it would prompt him to come closer and have some fun xD It would feel more like a barrier between us, or and invisible chastity belt because this feels so proper. I think of Kate Middleton in her classy shift dress and an overcoat on a spring day. Of course that's just my humble opinion, and I tend to like very sexy come hither scents.

cwavah

Shout out to Sonia Constant on this one .... Potent fragrance with a lot of musk .. Love the pepper and rose opening ... i also smell Patchoulli in the heart with a beautiful dry down

maci2222

I like this, but it does not hold a candle to Rouge. It is also much better on skin than paper.

LaContessina

I am one admitted fan of NR and I have been wearing for years the NH for her (black bottle). I simply adore it. It works magics with my skin (and the same seems to happen with millions of other wearers on the planet!), and yes, it was the magical work of talented Francis Kurkdijian (I love almost each and every one of his creation, with a few exceptions).
Then, in 2017 they issued this new frangrance, I tried in store and I immediately loved it.
It seemed to me a modern, fresher take on the For Her fragrance. I decided to splurge - 120 euros full price - some months later, and, even if it wasn't a blind buy, it was an "emotional " buy and I did not research much on that fragrance.
Indeed, the nose behind it wasn't Francis, but Calice Becker e Sonia Constant. Not that they are not good, absolutely, but... I should have reckoned that being the nose different, the fragrance would have been different.
So back to us, I bought a full bottle (100 ml by the way) and after a few days of wearing...I was disappointed.
What appealed much to me turned out to be a washed out copy of Tom Ford White Patchouli (that one has a misleading name: it is called patchouli, but is a 60%white musk patchouli 40% fragrance)... that I already own. If you look up at the notes of Fleur Musc, it has patchouli in the base and this is the stuff than lingers for hours.
Therefore I ended up with a copy of what I already have...
Mind you, not that this is a bad frag, not at all, it is just.. something not unique, that already exists on the maket, a musk/patchouli fragrance, quite heady, not so fresh as I initially thought.
It can be worn on occasions, not office friendly; it's a winter fragrance (preferably), a little bit headache inducing, not so memorable but definitely not a scrubber.
Test it extensively before buying, as it can turn out to be different after a few wearings.

fangpili

A musky peony and amber perfume; this is a truly lovely, warm, fairly heavy fragrance. This is similar to Stella Peony in Two (which I still prefer as it is a brighter, cleaner scent but is becoming extinct) with extra musk. Feminine, creamy and makes quite a statement without ever being screechy or loud. I enjoy wearing this, but can find it cloying and unfortunately as I still have Stella Peony in Two it pales in comparison. Very wearable (except in Summer) but not a signature perfume for me. I do prefer Fleur Musk's relative, Poudree.

roro471994

Well, I find this perfume very tough and a bit masculine. Something you would be annoyed by it if you like sweet and soft perfumes.
I love light musk smell, and also flowers. However, the musk in her is heavy, not in the oriental direction, but more like hitting you in the nose, also the pink pepper does give it a spicy kinda of a hype. For me, I decided to give it to my fiancé, as he told me its a male perfume. But actually, after a while you will think that you need something that different in your collection.

Very suitable for fall, office, work, middle of the day. The performance is weak though for me it lasts on my skin for half ab hour and on clothes as well.
Not gonna repurchase. But, I'll try to enjoy it.

elledior

This is the first Narciso Rodriguez fragrance I’ve tried. I was so excited because I know his fragrances have such a good reputation. Also, I love rose, so my expectations were high for this one in particular.
However, I just can’t bring myself to like it. The floral opening is the best part. But after that it’s just horrible. It’s still floral but the musk becomes the main note and it’s an awful smelling musk to me. Very clean. It reminds me of cleaning products.
I won’t be wearing this alone, but I tried it layered under another rose fragrance (Florabotanica) and that’s how I plan to rid myself of this bottle.

StinkyTinky

Narciso makes the best musc scents. Pure musc might be my favorite scent of all time, so I set the bar a bit too high for Fleur musc I’m afraid.
The pepper opening gives you the same sensation (not smell) of drinking a vernors ginger soda...it tickles. Then I get rose...and more rose. Not a soft vanillic rose- the pepper keeps it from getting creamy like the edp version of for her. This rose is clean and green. Like Chloe. The musc does come to the rescue to soften, and all of the strength behind these notes gives this perfume great performance.
As many others have said, it’s not a new song and dance number, but it’s still a good song and dance.
Even if you’ve seen it before.

DanqaRose

Yes!! I finally get it ...its a gorgeous deluxe lipstick kinda smell

Sol0013

I'm a fan of NR fragrances. And I really wanted to like this. It's a mix of rose and musk. The musk in this smells rather dirty to my nose, unlike NR for her edt which is a beautiful musc in my opinion. And the rose is still too much. I don't like dominant rose in perfumes. This is not for me. I'll just pass.

bourcet

Gorgeous, beautiful floral musk but nothing you haven't already smelled before. It certainly is lovely but reminds me too much of the other pink pepper heavy hitters to stand out on its own. Whenever I smell this note it immediately takes me to Chanel Chance or La Vie Est Belle and the other floralchouli crowd pleasers. If you're trying to pare down your collection, this is too similar or derivative to be worthy of its own place, but like all aspects of perfume, that choice truly is personal.

Nymph_peach

peppery musky rose. but clean and a little soapy. But i dont find anything fascinating or special.

hsiangchi.huang

At first, I wasn't a fan of the original For Her (black EDT); then I found this one. This is a more feminine and softer version because of the rose addition. The original has a bitter scent to it... probably the bergamot and amber combo.

Something about the musk from this house... it's just so addictive. At first you may not like it, but it'll slowly grow on you!

VIBE CHECK: This is classy, sophisticated, captivating, upper class yet still unique. I'd imagine a smart, sexy, composed and mysterious boss lady wearing it. 10/10!

JacquieDS

Amazing. Got the delicious, persistent sensuous musk, but extra rose. Just gorgeous.

chelseamurdock

This is a gorgeous musky and rosy perfume. I haven’t tried a single Narciso Rodriguez perfume that I haven’t loved yet. His musk notes just melt so seamlessly into the skin. To me, his perfumes are the equivalent of “your lips but better” lipsticks... except perfume version if that makes any sense haha.

My favourite bottles tend to be opaque. (Come to think of it, most of my favourite perfumes come in opaque bottles.) This one is painted an unabashed pink on the inside of clear glass. It reminds me of smart and stylish technology, like the bright iMacs of the late 90s. This perfume is sweet without being childish. It's full of rose, without being old fashioned. In fact, it's incredibly modern. (I'm glad that rose is back with a bang because it takes me right back to the little perfume bottle that was gifted to me when I was a kid in the 80s.) Fleur Musc is perfect for spring or fall. I would steer clear of this in the heat of summer, as it's a very thick and fuzzy fragrance, so it would be like wearing a sweater in July. But while it's soft and creamy, it manages to stay fresh (I'm reminded of an orange creamsicle, but rose). It's like an energized springtime afternoon, full of rose buds and birds singing, after a cold night. And unlike so many perfumes, this one does exactly what its maker aspired to: "create a fragrance with the heart of musc surrounded by warm rich pink flowers". He nailed it! But this fragrance isn't for everyone as it's playful but THICK and FUZZY like a mohair sweater. For my senses, this creates a marvellous push/ pull effect. I love it. But I'm sure that others will find this to be headache-inducing or even nauseating. I bet there's no telling who will like it or loath it based on age, style, or preference (unless you dislike rose to begin with). You'll have to smell this one before you buy.

emeraldwaters

Rose done CORRECTLY, what else can I say? This is sweeter than the other For Her’s, but not in an immature way. Still just as classy and amazing.

xoxoaloo

A good balance between peppery, floral and musky with emphasis on powdery rose notes. Lasts forever and dries down to its floral notes, this fragrance is great for both day and nighttime. Not your average fragrance for daily wear.

bratsimpsin

Very feminine and spicy, absolutely in love

Tsiolkovski

This has really grown on me. I got it as a tester, so I tried it for a little while.

Initially, the rose pepper is very strong on me. At this stage I don’t like it, as it feels too strong. Over the coming hours the rose and peony notes get more and more dominant, which I like. It smells mostly like white or pink garden roses, rather than the traditional red. The musk and amber are there, but don’t really bring attention to themselves. The violet and patchouli I cannot detect.

The projection is rather impressive. After one spray, I can smell it from half a meter away. Personally I think it smells better from some distance. The rose notes seem more real then.

On me, it seems to last forever. 15 hours later, and it’s still going strong.

I think it is a very well formulated perfume, and the quality seems high.

hexed

Not necessarily a perfume love, but a perfume necessity. Well balanced, serious but not dark, feminine but not sexy. It's just what you need when you're feeling on edge, dull, exhausted. It has posture when I do not.

AlexandraTroush

I love NR fragrances, but this one makes me scratch my head.
Maybe it has to do with the cold weather we're experiencing now, but there's a sourness that really bugs me in here. Something that scratches the throat and makes me want to gargle it away. I will have to revisit once the weather gets warmer, because I can't see myself enjoying it now at all. I'm just not seeing the magic everybody seems to see in it (or at least not currently).

edit after 3 months: we've been having sunny days here recently (though still cold), and this perfume smells much nicer than I remember! The sun brings out the spring in this one. Lovely, but I would not repurchase, as I prefer less limiting scents.

meliguzman

Sadly on me is just musc and barely any fleur, too heavy and powdery im so sad. I blind bought it since we are in quarantine please dont do it like me, after trying it I had to declutter it.

bdragonfly12345

I tried a sample of this today, and while it was pleasant, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping it would be. It's a beautiful rose scent, but just a bit too rose-heavy for me right now. I easily get six hours longevity, of moderate-low sillage.

I also have Narciso EDT, and it's not quite what I am looking for either, so I think I will heed @Annemarie's review, and try the EDP next--if it is the happy medium between these two, then it might just be perfect for me!

Out of curiosity, how does "Poudree" compare?

—}—@ darlingbud

JolieSucre, I’ve been curious about the beloved Stella In Two but no longer. Thanks for the comparison.

Annemarie

Not for me. The florals are a bit too heavy for my taste. This is not a complaint - 'fleur' is in the title after all. However there is a confectionery note in there that bothers me a bit too, so overall this is a pass for me.

If there is a continuum of florals from NR For Her EDT (not very floral) to EDP (a restrained note of rose) to this, my preference is for the EDP. Fleur Musc is too much of a good thing. Longevity on my skin is better than the other two I've mentioned.

JolieSucre

Stella McCartney Peony in Two was my favourite perfume before being discontinued, and before Narciso Rodriguez For Her was launched.
This perfume is very similar to Peony in Two, being a more modern take on the classic, Stella signature of deep peony and rose notes.

I guess this perfume is a sort of a reformulated take on Stella, understandably meant to withstand competition from La Vie Est Belle and the sweet bomb wave currently sweeping the market.
A deep, pensive and intoxicating scent.
Absolutely enchanting, like magic. Could be renamed ‘Fuchsia Magic’.
It is very potent and thick, almost heavy, so if you prefer delicate florals or fresh scents, this might not be for you.

I find this to be Narciso Rodriguez for Her (more rose than peony) with amped, sweetened peony and a strong dose of sugared musk.
The difference between the two is about 10%, but it is exactly where it was needed to take For Her to the highest possible reachable point.

It also has a stronger version of the classic Narciso musk, which is not white, but the typical hint of ambery musk, sweetened and far creamier than Stella, that just sticks to your skin and performs so well.

This is one of the few fragrances that smell almost identical in the bottle, on a paper sampler or on the skin, so you will not have any surprises with it.
Very long-lasting on me, as well as on clothes. The drydown does not become dominated by the 'cold' peony note, like For Her - the scent stays the same, albeit weaker and more skintone-like.

A masterpiece and in my opinion, the best Narciso scent ever created.

bissou

this perfume opens first with a rose note and then it fades so that you smell the musk. Nice perfume for spring or fall.

Perrywinkle

Pushing my face into a big bowl of musk pebble lollies and the petals of super fresh, vibrant red roses.
Moderate sillage and longevity and that is actually perfect otherwise it might have been cloying.
Another gorgeous musk from Narciso Rodriguez and thus another bottle in the bag!

Jocovt11

This is unbelievably beautiful. Earthy, rose, musk. Powdery, but fresh. If you like NR musks, and you like rose, you’ll swoon over this one.

Marisa36

To my nose, this is very similar to Stella in Two Peony. It’s so close that I don’t think I would be able to tell the difference. Can’t wait to wear it in Autumn/Winter as it’s much too cloying in Summer. Lovely cozy smell. Happy to have it in my collection.

MoJo_JoJo

I get almost no patchouli and very little of the pink pepper (only on initial spray). To me this is all about the Rose, followed by the Peony. It’s a soft fluffy pink rose, not a red rose. Slightly sweet and of course the musk is present but this is mainly a very fresh bright floral. Perfect for the Spring. For me it doesn’t perform too well in the peak of Summer. The high heat and humidity dissipates the florals on my skin and it turns a little bitter so I like to save it for the Spring time and less hot/humid Summer days. Besides the For Her L’Eau, this is probably the least mature out of all of the fragrances by Narciso Rodriguez and would be appealing to younger women, though it is still a very mature fragrance. I just think it covers a more broad age range than the others as it is not as heavy on the musk.

krian

The floral and the pink pepper make fleur musc sharper than for her edp. I sprayed both on each wrist and I can't smell for her edp after I smelled fleur musc. But they still have the same DNA, both are beautiful and cozy

Vivian

A beautiful rose - musk scent, doesn't turn stale nor sour as time progresses. Compared to the original Narciso Rodriguez for her, this isn't as enigmatic and alluring. However, it does make a pretty good day and date scent. Longevity is good even for tropical Singapore.

Missmel

If perfumes could have relatives this would be the younger sister to, Lady Vengeance by Juliet has a Gun. The rose and patchouli in both fragrances are stunning. I was never a huge fan of rose in my perfumes, but Narciso Rodriguez has changed my mind! Now I’m low key obsessed :)

Jana711xx

I can never make my mind up about this one, it has a a really loud opening, to the point that it too sharp and rather unpleasant. There is too much going on, too many florals competing to be number one. It reminds me (in the uk) of after you have been to a funeral service at a crematorium when you are standing viewing the floral tributes and all those amazing scents fill your olfactory....not just from the flowers you are viewing but from all the others around you. That is Fleur Musc, it hits you from all angles then as it starts to dry down it transforms into something quite beautiful which sadly only lasts about an hour on me. If I could dispense with the opening and have the dry down last longer it would be one of my favourite perfumes. I do own a bottle but it is not one I would repurchase

clarajulia27

This has been my signature scent for the past year, so I clearly love it. I fell in love with its intoxicating scent right away. I bought this when I was starting to get into musky scents, and I chose this one among the Narciso range because as the name suggests, this one had a solid floral body to nicely compliment the musk accord. At the time, it was perfect for me because I was still a bit unsure about how musk would work with my body chemistry so I liked that the rose balanced it out. And now, I totally love musk! I'd say Fleur Musc would be great for any woman who wants to feel elegant, romantic, and powerful.

Fleur Musc lasts 6+ hours on me and I'd say it has medium projection (although after a few hours it softens).

CONS:
However, I have to say that I wouldn't suggest this for summer. I felt that its spicy top note and the warm rose scent didn't mix well with humid summer weather.

Also, I love Fleur Musc but sometimes my nose would get tired of the strong rose scent. Because of this, I'd highly suggest sampling this and not blind buying... but I would also suggest giving it a chance even if you're not a fan of rose. I rarely like rose scents but its chemistry with the musk accord is really so intoxicating with Fleur Musc.

MOVING ON...
As much as I've enjoyed Fleur Musc, once I finish my bottle I'm moving on to Narciso Poudree. Poudree is a cozy powdery scent, which I've discovered is more my style.

rostov14

I must admit that I prefer Fleur Musc EDP to her younger sister Fleur Musc Florale EDT, even though they are very alike.
There is no excessive sweetness here; warm and spicy, round and well- balanced scent.
Violet and peony together bring some soapy freshness along with subtle powderness to it, that creates such a sophisticated, sensual and yet refined aroma around you.
Rose plays the first fiddle here, but not in a domineering way, rather in a beautiful symphony with other notes altogether, especially, with Narciso's famous woody- musky base. Overall result is gorgeous: deliciously feminine, inviting and sexy skin scent. Masterpiece!

Second review for this one.

Tried Fleur Musc a few times in the past and although I loved the rose + peony accord and general vibe of the perfume, I always thought it was too musky and spicy (from the pepper) in the opening to enjoy. Kept my sample though and decided to try it again yesterday.. and after letting it dry down for about an hour or so, it’s divine! Loved it so much that I decided to go out and purchase it today.

On my skin this smells like a fresh blend of roses and peonies, underpinned with a clean musk. The musk gets softer and sexier as time goes by (for me, about an hour after spraying). The longevity is actually quite outstanding, a solid 6 hours for me, and the sillage quite strong as well. The sillage for me is the best part - when I spray it on my wrists and move my arms, the air fills with such a beautiful, clean feminine clean scent. I don’t really get any amber (as noted in the pyramid) and only get a hint of the pepper, which adds a little bit of interest to the floral accord.

I'll also note that this is best if not oversprayed - otherwise the musk can come off as a bit screetchy at first, and some people are very sensitive to musk.

Used to wear For Her EDT (black bottle) as my signature, and would get so many compliments. Now I associate it with a previous time of my life and am less inclined to wear it, but I’m now happy to wear Fleur Musc, a reinterpretation of that beautiful perfume. For me this smells clean, feminine and understatedly sexy - good for any occasion, and very appropriate is a signature. Looking forward to wearing this for spring and summer.

Note: I will also say that it does smell quite similar to Chloe EDP, just a lot muskier and less ‘soapy’.

Rosemary14

Do you want to smell like a beautiful bouquet of roses and peonies? This is one of the NR’s line that has a descent projection. It’s a very fresh rose and peony scent. The opening is quite peppery and really dominates with the peony and rose. I have Stella and it does remind me a lot of that but of course with the NR musk the whole line is known for. This isn’t sweet in any other way than a very photorealistic floral way which makes it quite a grown woman sophisticated rose. That cool clean musk lends itself very nicely to the freshness of the floral in this. Freshness like this give a cool crispness that can be lacking in a say a jammy rose. This is so sophisticated and elegant with a freshness of real flowers and the most beautiful musk I’ve ever encountered. As this dries down it becomes richer, creamier, sexier it’s the best musk fragrance I’ve ever smelled it’s also one of the best Rose peony fragrances I’ve ever smelled. This and Stella compete for my affection and when it comes to the dry down this one wins. The clean vibe of this only stays within the floral realm and isn’t soapy like you might find in say the LOTV notes in Chloe. There isn’t much patchouli thankfully. The pink pepper adds a very faint spicy rosy intensity to the rose and peony. Musk can sometimes cross over into slightly animalic in this for me. I have to say I’m impressed by this fragrance. It’s every bit as good as some niche brands I’ve come across.

petitphilip

The scent is so beautiful, I love rose and musk so much! But WHY oh WHY? This doesn’t last on my skin, I feel like it lasts for an hour on me then it fades away real fast! 😭

jasmina_

Its basically a rose scented bar of soap. not floral at all. just rose. heavy rose.

Kind of like those perfumes aunties bring home from hajj. only soapier.
I actually had soaps and shower gels that were rose scented, and those were better.

Imma give it to my mother.

Devved

The best rose fragrance on the market! For me this is what happiness and positivity smells like. I find that almost every rose fragrance has a ''soap'' kick to it or lacks freshness which makes it suffocating and retro. But this one....the only perfume I have ever found across different price ranges which smells like a fresh, modern and youthful blooming rose. What really makes this unique is the pink pepper and peony together -creating a celebratory tone as it reminds me of champagne. Narcisiso`s fragrances, I think in general are not enough appreciated! My forever favorite.

SailorV

If I ever bought one of the Narciso Rodriguez perfumes in the oblong bottles, it would surely be this one. I cannot stand For Her EDT and its many dupes and flankers on my skin, the musk turns to something sour and dirty on me. But Fleur Musc doesn't.

It has a lovely fluffy musk that is closer to the Narciso line in the square bottles, but not exactly the same. Very clean and creamy. Blended with a fresh dewy rose, peony and dry pink pepper it smells floral and feminine. In the drydown I can also smell the amber that surprisingly reads as honey to my nose. It makes the fragrance smell of delicious honeyed florals.

Some say this is similar to YSL Elle, and while they share a few notes, I don't really think so. Elle is fruitier and more sparkly and doesn't have the creamy musk that is the main star in Fleur Musc.

Silvuna

I really liked it first, the musky/rose note, but after wearing it for some time, it is still nice but it is very casual, quiet, good for every day wear, office safe, nothing surprising there, it is like you have something on but it doesn't really draw other people's attention or bother them, it is like calming light musky scent.

MsLittlejohn

Mmmmm... 👀 😉 Hint of NR Rouge in there, but also its own scent. I like this better than Rouge on first spray. It's very nice, just received it, gonna update after a full wear!

Update: I really tried. Too patchouli heavy for me. Opening is great, nice rosy musk. Then the patchou-chou comes in strong, stays that way until the powdery dry down, which I love. Up for trade!!! Prefer the L'Absolu or Rouge of all NR's I've tried.

—}—@ darlingbud

Not a wallflower. There is a glorious garden fresh cloud surrounding me on this breezy March day. Fleur Musc might be my new spring fave. Layers nicely with the Rouge Narciso cube.

Amascent

This is pretty, soft and refined. It's gentile and easy to wear. It's powdery, musky, gardeny. This scent reminds me of an open meadow, or afternoon tea on on a sunny spring day out on the veranda. It's makeup countery, clean, a breath of fresh air, and lovely. Very lady like, and very day time appropriate. An easy wear. Not in any way a head turner, it doesn't demand attention, it just softly exists in the background. Timeless, and elegant. Not something I typically gravitate towards, but on days where I'm feeling softer and more natural, I reach for this.

Stargal

I'm quite surprised to see that there has been no connection made between Fleur Musc and Calvin Klein's Eternity. I sprayed the NR today and instantly thought of Eternity. I have seen comparisons with YSL's Elle, which it has absolutely no similarities to. I've been wearing Elle, which is woody and deep. Fleur Musc is loud florals. I grew up in the 90s and because Eternity is an older scent, perhaps there is a lapse in a generation who are not as exposed to it like I was back in the day. All in all, I would prefer to spend my money on a classic and much cheaper bottle of Eternity than Fleur Musc.

PeonySugar

This one smells like rose and cotton. I think violets give that dry sheet feeling. It's like you steamed cotton shirt and you get the smell of cotton and rose detergent. This is less musky than other NR perfumes.

Diaryofsmallthings

I love Narciso's Rouge but I ADORE Fleur Musc. Completely adore. It's romantic and very sensual. One of my most worn fragrances.

The opening is mildly peppery, and the florals are lovely but it's the dirty patchouli and musk combination with that hint of violet which wins the day for me. It's just beautifully balanced.

—}—@ darlingbud

Similar to what I loved about L’Eau but with rose instead of lily. Fresh, clean, almost soapy. The room smelled so lovely last night hours after spraying.

faodailen

If I smell it from the nozzle, Fleur Musc is so peppery and not enticing (could be a disappointment for no character). However, if I spritz on my skin, I smell strong rose and peony sequentially with spicy pepper or amber perhaps (on and off). There's a mixture of bitter amber wood and hot spice pepper. The pepper could sometimes too pungent for my nose. This is the sort of perfume that will not relax me because it is not cute, creamy that tease me or soothing fresh to lullaby me. This is discipline, busy, thinking, and tight schedule.

After minutes and minutes (depends on how squander u r), the feminine notes start to puff. The longer it stays on my skin, the fresher it gets. Hmmmmmm... NOW, it really makes me feel super feminine and cleanly powdered. And foremost is ... surprisingly, it has two contrasting characters. This is like a stoic high-earned woman that is trained not to show her vulnerability until ... she can't help showing it. ;)

EnergeticCrab

Mostly peony, rose, and musk on me. The violet comes through after a few minutes and balances with the pepper. You can tell this is a well composed fragrance, but it leaves me wanting more.

It is the sort of scent that smells unique when you compare it to others in the immediate vicinity, but is generic out of context. I wish it had something more special to say.

Cassiano

In 2017, after a few flankers and limited editions, Narciso Rodriguez's For Her line gained another fragrance: For Her Fleur Musc, which has Eau de Parfum concentration and a greater touch of audacity. To bring this creation to life, perfumers Sonia Constant and Calice Becker came together and decided to pay more attention to the floral bouquet that surrounds the musk heart, a fundamental part of this collection.

It is interesting to remember that Sonia Constant also signed, in 2016, the olfactory pyramid of For Her Rose Musc, a fragrance that is part of an encapsulated collection that was named Oriental Musc Editions. The latter also has notes of rose and peony, ingredients that were brought into the composition of For Her Fleur Musc.

We then have a new interpretation for the woman portrayed by Narciso in his For Her collection. It is not the same as 2003 when the Eau de Toilette version was released and a milestone was set in the market. That woman has aged and matured but probably remains true to the original fragrance. In Fleur Musc, the woman is more dynamic, independent and, above all, versatile. Therefore, it was necessary to slightly reduce that tone of elegance and sobriety from before and, consequently, increase the volume of confidence and liveliness.

The result was born through a fragrance that has notes of pink pepper, making room for a cheerful and floral heart of musk, rose and peony and which fall on a patchouli and amber base. On the skin, this combination brings a sweet rose and reveals a bolder perfume by Narciso Rodriguez, who no longer wants to be labeled for its characteristics of softness and elegance, but that does not give up sophistication and, above all, talk to a select audience of users, who may even change fragrance but never abandon the brand.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Fleur Musc exudes more than traditional versions (EDT and EDP), has great durability, does not exaggerate in any way nor makes use of that hot and sweet patchouli that appeared in numerous releases of the same year, and still gets some compliments wherever it goes. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the fact that the musky DNA of the line is not so alive in this version. But also, after so many variations (For Her in Color, For Her Delicate, For Her L'absolu, For Her Silver, For Her Musc, etc.), the family grew, new marriages were made and For Her Fleur Musc carries a more varied genetic mix (or would it be less pure?).

The visual identity was maintained and both the box and the bottle gained a more vibrant pink color, which conveys exactly the floral feeling that the fragrance seeks to portray. To me, this For Her line looks like that kind of family where women are all beautiful and that's common sense to everyone. From the grandmother, who was beautiful when she was young and remains beautiful with her expression lines, to the mother, who inherited the beauty of the matriarch and threw herself into the job market, creating a successful career, and reaching the daughter, who dominates more than one language, she is in no hurry to get married and have children, and she gave up her modeling career to dedicate herself to those organizations that take help to the neediest corners of the country. Do you identify yourself?

disintigratedwoman

I tried to make this one work for me, but unfortunately after many attempts, couldn't.

After wearing the original Narciso For Her (EDT) for years, I was really excited when this one came out - beautiful rose and pepper, along with the original musk that I love. A more casual, feminine version of the one I love.

But each time I wore it, I couldn't smell it on my skin - it would seem to disappear within an hour. And when I could smell it, sometimes the musk was so strong that it would make me sneeze.

So for all you that say you can wear it, and that you get compliments - lucky you. This one is beautiful, but not for me. I'll stick with the original.

auroramaria

This one is a true beauty,in January the new version is coming out called Fleur Music EDT Florale with a citrus accord among other notes

masako_30

My belief is that Narciso has reached its perfection in Pure Musc for Her. This is just my opinion, intriguing me on how it will surprise us with its next mutation, if there will be.
That being said, I'd like to spend some words about Fleur Musc.
My skin eats it, leaving me the illusion of having enjoyed it for a long time, but it's not true. Instead I'm its exclusive black hole in which it collapses. I think I smell it but it's just its shadow on my clothes.
It's so good I wish it were endless. An elusive caresse.
A great sensory experiment, the day I sprayed it over Pure Musc, layering the two; a bomb came out then, I'm sure I didn't go unnoticed, unintentionally. Whoa!

AMajeedQT

Narciso Rodriguez does it again!

There is no designer, niche or otherwise, that have mastered & consistently released amazing feminine musk like Narciso does.

Fleur Musc is another hit!

Gorgeous from start to end.

Fleur Musk is a musk perfume in essence, similar to the original Narcis Rodriguez for Her. Here, though, the cool, airy musk is accompanied by a tender, soft rose scent. This classic combination is freshened up by a hint of spicy pink pepper. The patchouli sit very quite, supporting the musk/rose with its own fresh muskiness.

Narciso has done this musk/rose combination multiple times, each time altered mildly, & yet they are always gorgeous!

Compared to the original, this is lighter & a tad fresher. I would't have been surprised if there was a citrus note here. Not that I smell citrus but it has a fresh cool vibe of citrus without the zest.

Gorgeously classy. Beautifully elegant.

I "Love" it!

Vegas Pauli

People who complain that this one doesn't last are nose blind to it. My friend wears it and complains it doesn't last but I always clearly smell it when I am next to her. We went to a (loud, crowded and smoky) concert and 4 hours later when we get into her car, it was instantly filled with Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc. Even though you cant smell it, trust me, the rest of us can so spray lightly. (btw, it does smell good)

Bubbles1964

All of the Narciso Rodriguez perfumes I have sampled smell good, and all share familiar DNA, namely in the kind of musk that’s used. I see similarities between Fleur and the White Cube, as well as the EDP and EDT.

Compared to the peony and rose scent I wore yesterday, Micaleff’s Pearl, Fleur Musc is clearly better. In some ways, this is more niche than Pearl, but both are easy to wear and office safe. Nothing negative in that observation, just not super exciting either.

Oddly I wear the Narciso white cube less these days. Like the cube, after several hours of wearing Fleur, I pick up a plastic note. It started to annoy me, so it’s moved down the ladder to a like and not a love.

Deepblack

Three words.....FLY KILLER SPRAY!

Joys of life

A solid like for me. The opening is delicious with pink rose and peony being the standout notes. Peony has more of a powdery feel so it blends with the musk very well. The vibe is very smooth and soft.
My one criticism here is the musk does not work as well for me as it does in the For Her EDT or Narciso white cube fragrances. Here it reminds me of concentrated Tide detergent - probably something about how it is mixing with violet.

In all this is still a very pretty fragrance. The rose and peony really hold on throughout the development, and I don't mind smelling like Tide and flowers, it's a good smell. But IMO not as sophisticated as others in this line.
Edit: I actually reach for this a lot as an everyday fragrance. It’s a very easy wear and safe blind buy.

reymax

I used to have Lalique Perles and honestly can't tell them apart.

Adriana Annette

Fresh, perfumey, very feminine, sweet and a bit sourish-fruity roses and peonies, it dries down into a lovely slightly powdery scent. There is something crisp and frosty about this perfume, for me this is a scent for a beautiful business lady. She is amazing at her work and is always very busy. She also wears glasses and looks very serious. Wink.

Addict2Perfume

Fleur Musc for Her by Narciso Rodriguez is some seriously sexy stuff! I always think “hot flowers” when I smell this because the pink pepper makes the rose and peony smells spicy and the musk-patchouli blend smells a little dirty, but “naughty” dirty *wink, wink* aka the good dirty! Since it is floral I find it romantic and elegant, obviously great for date nights but still versatile for other occasions. The original Narciso was a bit too heavy for me, but Narciso has to be the musk king because they have released so many pleasing variations that your sure to find one that you like!

Fleur musc is the innocent counterpart of the EDT. Whilst the EDT is all about lush, seduction, allure, this one stands apart as an innocent, joyful, playful perfume with a character nonetheless and both of them excuding timeless elegance and beauty. You feel stressed out and tired, you've had a terrible day, you feel you can't handle your issues anymore? Spray this perfume on and your mood is likely to change, that is the power of this fragrance. No matter how you feel, one thing's for sure: Fleur musc is joy and happiness in a bottle, it will instantly make you feel better, it will lift you up and make the smile return on your face. You can wear it in every occasion and it will never offend anybody, on the contrary it can make others feel good too. I love that it is so straight forward, that is to say it remains pretty much the same the whole time, once you've sprayed it you cannot confound it, that's the fragrance you get and it's bold and pretty and a little bit shy but secure of herlself. Another thing I love about about this perfume is the fact that it's so juicy and rosey-pinky I want to drown in it and drink it. It has the right amount of sweetness, bitterness, musc and flowers and it can be worn all year around. I love it and I'm so very happy I own a bottle of it. One of the best perfumes out there.

Auragin

I am pleasantly happy with this perfume! It is peppery in the right places, with rose sashaying throughout. Drydown hugs the rose with musky arms and reveals a sweet kiss of peony and violet. The sillage is not great, I will say that, however I breezed past two women in Ulta yesterday and they both followed me to ask what in the world I was wearing. This is a nice office scent, non-offensive and oh-so-pleasing. I cannot say anything negative about it except I wish it would last a *little* bit longer. I think I actually purred this morning whilst spraying! Good blind buy for me.

I own 10 NRs.
5 for her's line, 3 cube's line and 2 for him's line.
NRFH fleur musc is the most long lasting among them all. Still linger on skin even after I took a shower, moderate sillage like the others from this house. I have to admit that I quite enjoy this one a lot but nothing beats FH EDP.

clairdelune

This one was a big disappointment for me. Based on the notes I thought it'd be amazing but upon first spray I got 'upscale toilet paper.' Yeah, not what I'm wanting to smell like. It was a blind buy so I guess I shouldn't be shocked. I think a heavier dose of patchouli would've given this a good kick and some sophistication and interest. Unfortunately, for me, it completely fails to deliver in those areas and is just a pale, mildy pleasant musky floral mix, which has no real distinction and is therefore serving as an air freshener in my house. Strangely, when I just smell the bottle without spraying, I really like what I smell but once in the air the scent is nothing like its 'inert' form eminating from the sprayer. I really have to stop with the blind buys. Next on my list is Narciso in the white cube -- hoping for a much better and more compelling scent! UPDATE: I've worn this to work the last few days as a last resort - just not in the mood for anything else on my perfume shelf - and it is growing on me. I got a lot more rose than I had before, which I enjoyed, so if not love, maybe at least I will like this NR.

I can't believe I became a Narciso Rodriguez 'sucker', I have to thank a friend for that and I'll tell you a secret: "Always trust the non-smokers and those without experience in perfumes when you want a real opinion."

I am in love and the question is, why I didn't discover him earlier? I've reviewd already my favorites, no one can beat the original. Narciso is my choice, you can see my reviews for my favorites, but For Her is nice too. Let's analyze it generally. For Her EDP (very first, beige/pinkish bottle) and maybe EDT (black) start really strong, tell me something new, they become really feminine and to a point strange as the smell is like a body's odor (not with the bad meaning but not with the best one too) and they end up ADDICTIVELY good!

What happens with Fleur Musk? God...perfection of a floral creation. AMAZING sillage, I mean you can detect it and you're not sure it's this. It's uplifting and a mood changer because it's soft and present at the same time. It's like a classic winner with a modern twist and imagine I am not a fan of florals. To help you a bit more, forget all about previous musky creations. Here the combination of notes brings out a romantic rose. With a few words, rosie, fresh, soapy, soft, romantic, present, a bit aquatic, classic & modern. OK for every case as well as every occasion & season. Maybe the base of violet does the thing. It's like a child who takes the best and only characteristics for it's parents! The addictive freshness of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet and gourmandise-kind of deliciousness in Absolutely Blooming (rose/musky/peppers without berries thank God), the soapy/clean aspcects of Chance eau Tendre-Chanel, the happiness of La vie est belle en rose EDT-Lancome, the 'body' of For Her EDP.

I don't think it's a coincidence for being in top 10 of almost all well-known cosmetic stores. I could rock it but in very specific occasions. Not even close to Rose Musk of the House that is 100% church-ie oriental. A nectar of roses, that's my best description and to end with. I want to add that NR perfumes copliment your natural skin's smell like other perfumes do, some of them have a magic sillage, here you have this and don't worry if you can't detect it just like in Narciso Rouge. Try it and let it transform to that perfect classic but not boring rose...

Beautiful scent. Each time I wear this, there is at least One person Who asks what I am wearing.

Dionisio Armani

Initial blast scared me. I got what I would describe as a harsh bug repellent smell.. but wait....

After a few seconds it turned beautiful so don't be put off by the initial spray. Overall this truly is a lovely fragrance. I was expecting it to smell identical to the black bottle for her but it's very different. There is something sharper to it, most definitely more floral. Silage and longevity are amazing. Yep I am sniffing my wrist and in there is some of the original For Her - however this is a beauty in her own right. Very pretty, feminine and soft. Just don't go too heavy handed on this one.

TxTizzy

Really enjoy this lovely perfume, but I wish so badly it was as long lasting as Poudre and Rouge, with a little more projection. It really is SO very subtle, which is great in some situations. Very feminine and delicate. I love NR fragrances, with all my heart....Fleur is no exception.

I'll add my review,
I sampled this today along with a few other scents.
It was on my want list, as I was walking to the store I got on Fragrantica, logged in and went straight into my want list.
This was the third scent I sampled today,
Did I end up purchasing it? No.
Why? It smells very soft & sits close to skin.
I can't describe what I smell much...

The only good thing I can say is I scored a sample.
He was sweet enough.

I don't think I'll be wearing it much anyway.

Ghadeer540

I tried to love it but I couldn’t, terrible

sarah.brooks

When I wear this parfum the men really notice and they love it.. every time

margie

The Damascan rose is indeed prominent here. But so is musk and it is stifling her, making her unhappy and sour. This fragrance fits a woman who never smiles in public, who unscrupulously wins at every business transaction but cries alone at night. Mainly sense and only tidbits of quenched sensibility.

Sherine777

The strong but delicate.. Extremely well balanced.

I can sense the Rose and the Peony, the Rose is not favored here and I don't smell them separately. It's a perfectly blended bouquet.
A light sprinkle of Pepper/Patchouli to match the slight sweetness of the flowers.
The Musk doesn't take over the flowers, they're like 50/50 till the end.
No element here overpowers the other. They are harmoniously blended.

She does possess the spirit of many women, she's Bold but yet Soft.

JennifeRx

Sooo sexy and beautiful! Anyone who loves NR for her EdT should like this, as well.

It’s quite frosty right now in this part of the world, and I’m wearing Fleur Musc on my right wrist, and For Her EDT on my left wrist. I’ve had them both for many months now and, although they’re very similar, especially in the drydown, the first few hours of their developments are quite different. In a nutshell, For Her EDP features sweet white flowers with a gorgeous rosey overlay and loads of sweetened musk; it stays quite linear and doesn’t change much from the beginning to the end (i.e. some ten hours later). On the other hand, Fleur Musc opens a bit fresher, sharper, less sweet, with pepper providing the tangy twist; soon the big peony note takes over and stays there, while violets add just a touch of powderiness. Two hours after application they become almost identical, as we’re left with this beautiful candied musk. I love them both!

This is the perfume that got me back into perfume. I bought it in fall and on me it was a beautiful spicy musk with floral underneath, although when my son smelled it, all he could smell was rose. I got compliments on this whenever I hugged someone. I'm wearing it today in the middle of winter and I must say that today I'm only getting rose, which I don't love quite as much. So while this could be a year round scent, because I love the musk, I think I'll wait for warmer weather to wear it again.

I got this perfume as a Christmas present. I was surprised with a beautiful rose scent surrounded by lavender accords. I know the notes don't mention lavender but I can smell it. Pink pepper, some clean patch and woods. Very long trail of scent, excellent longevity. Very good, I wish the rose notes were more prominent. The rose is the best part of this perfume, but it is very short lived.

I had shied away from woodies, musks, and prominent rose ( such a big trend in the recent past ) lately ,
until I spritzed this tester on. I have not experiences with Peony - except crowds wearing some kind of generic Peony body spray :/
I do find this clean, vibrant, fresh, and as another member had stated - mysterious. That mystery is very appealing to me .
Without the amber, and violet, I am not sure this would be such a Love to me.
The quality is amazing. I do not own, nor tried an NR frag before.
I am so pleasantly surprised !
First sniff was reminding me of Coco Mad , but this is so on it`s own level. Softer, but with good sillage .
I believe I can make this scent to span the seasons.
So, it`s my birthday month, and of course I am thinking perfume, jewelry, perfume, handbag, and perfume !
On my list is Fleur Musc... and while I am there , I will try Narciso Rodriguez For Her L'Absolu as well :)

Plamka

Smelled it today for the first time and while it was lovely, i kept thinking about what it reminds me and i kind of finally figured it out - its similar to Burberry Body(don't remember which one), a bit of Salvador Little kiss too, basically it reminds me of many good quality rose perfumes.
This one is however unique with that its a bit sweet

I fell in love with this scent on paper, but was wearing a fairly strong perfume at the time and didn't want to do a skin test. I had the opportunity today and am wowed by the difference! On paper I got powder, which I love. On my skin, although I realize it isn't in the notes at all, it's straight cedar from start to finish. It reminds me very much of Tokyo Milk's Bulletproof. I have no idea what combination of my skin chemistry and the notes in this are creating the cedar, but it is actually quite nice and I enjoy it. I was just hoping for more complexity (on me) when worn, and am sorry that I'm not getting the other notes like many other reviewers. Just further proof that the "paper test" is not the way to go, obviously!

yuliannart

I wanted to like it for the roses and the peony ( I am looking for a soft peony). I know peony can be quite sharp in a perfume, and this is what it is here. On top of the peony sharpness, I get a whole bunch of patch and musc to split my head with a needle-sharp headache and bitterness in the throat. The opening is very nice and flowery, very NResque, but it fatigues me very quickly. The smell stayed with me all day pretty pronounced, no escape. To me it is very similar to "Lovely", yet again.
Edit: 4 days later and I can still smell it from the tiny amount that got on my scarf. So, if you want longevity... but it is killing me. :(

g0h4eun

Didn't like it on first try because of strong musk in it.
I put the perfume testing paper into my bag & forgot about it. And my bag smelled amazing for 3 days ! I found out it was this perfume.
This is a winter, night time only perfume for me.
I don't get any peony. Just very powdery musky roses. Dries down to very warm & comforting sweet roses.
Can be too much for some people. One of the very-in-your-face perfume. Last all day, strong sillage.

dipisor

Gorgeous fragrance! A few sprays on your skin and you feel like floating on clouds in Heaven. That pink color of the bottle suits perfectly to what's inside. Peony, rose, violet, musk and a little bit of pink pepper, I can feel each and one of them and they are divinely blended. Done to perfection!
