Everyone raved about this range and i really didnt see any bad reviews so I blind bought a tester set of the 4 fragrances- thank goodness they were testers ($70AUD I'll never get back). I Dislike the entire range. I thought I liked musk but it turns out Truely dominant musk fragrances are not for me.

I love creamy lactonic fragrances like montblanc signature (vanilla & musk) and thought these would be great clean fresh vibes.

Of the 4 testers (EDP, EDT, Musk, Rose) the EDT is the most tolerable but definately not my cup of tea.

The musk is heavy and almost suffocating in this EDP. It just reminds me of musty old cupboards and ladies over 75.

I was hoping it would have modern note pairings that didn't make me think of grandma's dusty fur coat & moth balls, but it does.

For those of u that love it im glad & I truly wish I could feel the same.

matchajasmine

I love it. This fragrance feels incredibly gentle and floral. Am I the only one who detects a hint of cinnamon (maybe it's coming from the sandalwood)? I feel like this one is softer compared to Pure Musc.

Graciegrace

I love it, this has been my signature smell since i found it in 2020. It's musky and feminine. I live in a tropical country yet i can wear this any time of the day even at noon without getting dizzy. After few hours i cannot really smell it on my skin but people around me say they can smell my scent, it is also long lasting on shirt as it lingers till laundry time. Some people did ask what perfume i used when i was wearing this.

Ayshin

Smell sweet, powdery and fresh on me. Absolutely my favorite for working, without offensive notes (i work in hospital)
I've received tons of compliments from coworker. Doesn't last long on me, but i won't mind reapplying

judearose123

I wasn’t sure about this one at first. The first time I tried it on my skin, all I got was powdery rose with a nail polish metallic smell in the background. Very dated and almost offensive. After I let it dry down, I was in love. It smells like a rose scented bubble bath in Paris with the Eiffel Tower sparkling out the window. The musks blend beautifully with the sandalwood and it’s slightly sweet due to the peach pulp. The rose is prominent but it’s a velvety rose, not reminiscent of a funeral home. The amber is in the background of the dry down but it’s faint, it just adds some depth. The patchouli is something else entirely, if you aren’t into earthy patchouli in your florals I would not recommend this one. Like I said previously, the nail polish scent is offensive for the first few minutes until the patchouli settles down. As for performance, I’m impressed. This fragrance packs a punch and I wouldn’t overspray, even if it’s a brand new bottle that hasn’t macerated. Designer scents from the early 2000’s weren’t pushed out for cash grabs like these new releases and they don’t need to sit for a few months to last longer than 2 hours.

Joli_26

I tried it several times at the airport and in different stores, I really wanted to like it, because of the notes but i made me nauseated. The opening is very harsh and overwhelming. I can't smell the peach or rose here at all. The dry down leaves a stuffy sandalwood and the patchouli is also quite strong. Unpleasant overall and definitely not a blind buy. It stayed really long on my skin, had to wash it off.

Greg & Claire

This is just so beautiful! And the projection is insane. She’s a beast! To me, this captures what it means to be feminine. It’s suitable for young and older women. Gorgeous!

Giusy71

Il mio profumo preferito, è fantastico, contiene un maschio meraviglioso, fresco pulito, adatto all'estate, sulla mia pelle è stupendo in estate.mi dura 24 ore e la scia si sente per 9 ore.

nickinicole

I was hoping for a soft, clean musk, but this smells dated

Scentsitivewoman05

If versatile is a perfume, this is it. The opening I dirrctly can smell the rose mixed with the musk creating clean rose-y vibe, I dont catch the peach at all though. Through time, the hint of rose and musk still there but now the patchouli will be louder. The projection is just enough, not that people will smell you from 5 meters but just enough for people around you at close proximity to smell you. On the skin this survives my 9 to 5 working hours but in cloth it survives days until you wash it. It can be used for any event and time since it is not cloying on humid hot environment but I imagine it will be too fresh for winter or cold season. Versatile.

Michikore

I was gifted a bottle a couple years ago. I really tried to like it but to me it just smells like cheap soap. The smell haven't changed at all after all this time and I haven't met a single person who likes it enough to take it from me.

vixxiimcmlxxxvii

One minute it’s musk, the next it’s rose, most minutes it’s both, at the end it’s clean patchouli, but ALWAYS it’s beautiful. I’m very happy I can’t place who I’ve smelled this on, because that could easily ruin it for me. Although, it certainly couldn’t have been anyone I disliked, so if it ever dawns on me, it probably won’t be a loss.

So. I ended up with a brand new 5oz bottle of this. I’m pleasantly (not) surprised by how much I like it. This is what I needed. For every day, every night use. Exactly this. So, good thing it’s a 5oz!!

Update: This quickly became much too much for me. Sometimes I forget that I don’t actually like rose all that much. With the right supporting characters, it’s fine, but…man it’s overpowering in here. This is a one-spray. I do love it, but I think I will try the EDT. Still a successful purchase, just won’t become the easy reach I thought it would.

Teepeeps

It’s not as sweet as Delina, it’s not as brightly, (and initially a little harshly), rose as Fashionably London. I think I was expecting more though. It’s beautifully formulated but so widely represented elsewhere (by tributes or parallel development) that it did not delight or surprise. I see the perfumers and they have created a masterpiece of safe scent.

I think I was expecting more depth. The rose is very inoffensive. The EDP didn’t last too long on my skin.
It’s nice. You can gift it very easily without offending pretty much anyone, unless they hate bright rose).

I don’t think you loose much if you can buy Fashionably London, which is cheaper.
I shall use it and not replace it.

AnnaMilla

I loved the initial sweet, powdery rose scent who sang accompanied by a heavy bass drum of musk and patchouli.
After a while I smelled a familiar scent, but couldn't quite place it. So I figured it out! Lilac! But it was not a light fragrance, more like a heavy mixture with musk and amber. Certainly not unpleasant, but not quite what I expected. I still like the powdery undertone and will use it as one of my ultra feminine scents.

ClassicallyVintage

I absolutely LOVE Narciso Rodriguez perfumes and this one is no exception, however, that damn patchouli note keeps overpowering all the other notes and I end up smelling sweaty and body oder-esque. Whatever type of patchouli they use in here does not agree with my body chemistry at all!

hirayanaapuhap

I really like Narciso Rodriguez fragrances for some reason. It's neat, it's safe. I don't want the attention but I also want to be remembered and the uniqueness that comes with it. This is my signature scent because it perfectly provides me everything I want in a perfume. It screams "I am dedicated to my work and serious about my goals so please do not disturb me."

I have dry skin and I live in a tropical country but this lasts around a good 6hrs to 8hrs at most. I noticed though, it lasts longer when I am eating meat on that day. I'm flexitarian and whenever I am purely vegetarian that day, the scent doesn't last that long. Plus I noticed that my skin really likes to eat away the rose first. This happens to all other fragrances I wore, but somehow my skin doesn't take away the rose notes in NR for her edp as fast as the ones I have tried.

I recently bought a 100ml bottle and it smelled a little different from a decant I bought online. I conclude it might be because this is a newly produced batch, the shop I bought my decant from had hers for awhile now. The older NR for her edp are much creamier smelling than the new ones. I still love them all though.

I am so passionate about NR for her edp. Mostly because not much of the people in my country really wear this one. It's not a popular scent here so that really adds my love for it. If I could only give it a 100 score, I would.

Charlie bowie

Beautiful airy fluffy realistic damp rosy musky scent. Very elegant. To me it smells like a mature affectionate auntie and makes me feel secure and reassured.
The only issue I have with this is sometimes the musk smells very funky. Almost like a tonsil stone or a stinky morning breath 🥹
I love it though

TffnyWhte132

The longevity of this perfume is CRAZY. I can easily get 12 plus hours from it. When I do my laundry later this week it will still be on my clothes.

jadepo21

This is SJP Lovely’s cooler, older cousin who visits from out of town. You can see the similarities but this girl is grown, she is wiser to the world, and she is sexy. It can be so hard to find muskier, woodier scents that don’t lean too masculine but the peach and amber in this really help to define its femininity without making it girly. I usually loathe anything rose heavy but this rose is a background, a subtle undertone. There’s another floral in this too, but I can’t define it. Could be jasmine? What truly shines here is that sultry, slinky patchouli on the dry down. It’s an utterly inoffensive scent but that doesn’t make it generic. It’s mysterious and, I hate to say it, Lovely.

etherealwitch24

I blind buy this in full size and it's not bad like its bad reputation. Rose, Musk & Patchouli are dominating notes, actually it's all what I can smell especially patchouli. 2 spray is enough in a cold weather or you could make everyone look at you when you step into a room. However, I love it dry down smell, so clean, fresh and much less dominating. It lasts quite long that I can still smell it on my body in the next day. Its dry down scent is quite pleasant that I can keep it through the night. I wish I could have bought a smaller size since this is not my everyday cologne.

nukleo777

I just bought this one and I love it. I have very dry skin and I can smell it all day. First day and I already got compliments from random girl in grocery store. It is perfect balance between musky and feminine.

perfumelov3r

powdry and cute but definitely more mature. but a bit water down (maybe cause the bottle was almost empty at the shop i tried it ?) still a feminine nice fragrance.

naturechild

This makes me feel so feminine and deep, magnetic and mysterious. Its like it matches someone with a very feminine and good personality, but who wont take shit from anyone. The depth i feel is like however close you get, you could never really know or tell what really is there deep inside, you can only guess, and it captivates. There is longing in this introverted fragrance too, but its longing is connected with the real raw sensuality and pleasure of existence, its not the dreamy illusions of a little child. Its the dream of really connecting deeply with someone and feeling it all, surrendering to the depths of emotions.

cloudfruit

cool, powdery, clean, a little soapy, and floral. i love a powdery floral that is mature without smelling like grandma's perfume - in my opinion that is a really hard line to toe and this does a great job. i saw a review say it was like "rose petals floating in bathwater," which is very close to the mental image i get with this perfume as well- to me it's like you're in a very cold, very ornate marble bathroom where the warmest, most luxurious bubble bath with rose petals is steaming right in front of you...
the only thing i don't really like about it is it doesn't seem to last very long on my skin and although its initial spray is quite intense, it dries down to a much more intimate scent. this might be because i only have a 1ml sample though lol i am trying to be a little more conservative with my sprays.

mothtoaflame___

(Collection)
Bitter at first, then it transforms into the prettiest powdery rose bomb. The rose accord is not choked in talc, it’s rather fleshy, like a handful of juicy, aromatic petals floating in bathwater. I wear both EDT and EDP with pride.

stella.cherie

I am testing this, the EDT, and L'Eau today and am so surprised to see that jasmine is not listed as a note. That's the dominant scent that I'm getting + powdery + muskiness. There’s also this sharpness to it despite its notes. Significantly fades 30 minutes after spraying, then turns citric as it fades onto a skin scent--again, odd since there are no citrus notes officially listed. This faint citric skin scent did last into the next day though.

krystmnv

It is one of the best perfumes of all times, no doubt...I usually hate florals, but this is just so seductive, so dark, so musky and so feminine but in a very sophisticated way...At some point everyone had it so I retired it, but I will always love it, I love smelling it on other people and I do plan to buy it again. Also, beast mode duration and projection.

Hypnotic Flower

This is a classic!
Finished 2 whole bottles of this in the past, I really loved it so much and I miss wearing it. Still to this day one of the most sensual and feminine scents ever made.. The sillage is just beautiful!!

devoue

smells like possayyyyy 😭

missingbonnet

Floral, a bit too strong for me it's giving old wilted flowers or flowers pressed in books.

Agedlikefinewine

One of my classic favorites.
Sensual, mysterious.

annamal

I first liked it...but it smells like a condom, just bad.

isha2003

this had to grow on me, at first i hated the musk, it was so crowded and heavy, foggy. but as i started wearing it, i could smell the floral notes coming through. its not a true rose in my opinion, maybe a mature rose? but certainly not a syrupy rose. i personally can only pinpoint its a floral note and wouldn't be able to tell if its a rose. the musk comes first then the floral comes after. its like waving away a thick layer of musky fog, and there you see a bunch of pink and purple petals laid out on a white table, i get a solid pink, purple and white colour palette when i smell this, its not shiny its matte.the people that know, know.

Perfect for the office, cause this is not a cozy scent, like a very flat powdery scent which feels serious. i would give this a 7/10, can't go wrong with this, pretty mainstream, can be anybodies signature scent, i would not recommend this on a hot summer day, maybe some people might have luck with the florals, but for me the musk certainly stands out. definitely better suited for a sunny winter or spring day.

Fruit-chan

I don't like rose dominant perfumes.I even decluttered Delina for that reason. The only perfumes I can detect rose and not just tolerate it,but actually enjoy it are Ombre Nomade,Oud Satin Mood,Oud Bouquet and this one.
I got this from my aunt recently. It's around 7 years old and has beastly performance.
If Basic b*tch had a smell it would be this one.
Not in a negative way.Its a vibe.

WhiteFlowerPrincess

To me, Narciso Rodriguez for her in the pink bottle is like a cross between Narciso Rodriguez for her in the black bottle and Narciso Poudrée for me. It's not as light a scent as Poudrée but not as dark a scent as Narciso for her in the black bottle. The difference is that this fragrance doesn't have any of the white floral notes unlike the other two fragrances that I just mentioned.

I liked the opening of rose and peach, since it was sweet and girly in a very vintage and pretty in pink sort of way. It smelt like being in a garden full of roses and peach trees in the spring. It is powdery in a nice way too.

But the heart notes were too powdery for me with the musk and the amber in the heart is a strange combination as well. It would have smelt better in the base of this fragrance. They aren't really heart notes to me and these notes being in the heart smell a bit like sweaty skin to me.

The sweaty smell then continues through to the base notes with the earthy and dark patchouli that just makes me think of the smell of arm pits. The sandalwood is a bit too strong and woody in this too. A bit overpowering for me and not really how I would like to smell.

This fragrance lasted 13 hours on me and it had medium projection, so quite long lasting for a designer release! I would recommend it be worn in spring, fall and winter and in the evening because of its dark and woody notes.

Altogether I'd give this fragrance a somewhat below average 4/10.

vwgirl123

For everyone not understanding the SJP Lovely comparisons, Lovely was reformulated about 10 years ago and the company making it changed. It used to be a light pink feminine floral with white musk, making it extremely similar to this scent. In fact old Lovely smells alot like Modern Muse by Estee Lauder if you want to smell that to compare.
The current Lovely is a terrible, screechy lavender mess which I think is adding to the confusion.

marialena888m

On its own, it’s nice enough, but gets boring after awhile. I recommend layering it with NR’s Pure Musc for a most sublime combo…soft, clean, feminine and classy…gentle enough for daily use, but still noticeable and distinctive.

Usernotknown7

It’s been more then a month since I got this perfume and omg I’m obsessed, like this is the most pleasant perfume I have ever smelled so far , it literally screams soft feminine. If I would smell on this someone my head would definitely turn.Although the notes mentioned are simple but the composition of the notes is soooo beautiful that the notes compliment each other so well , this is 100% a safe blind buy if u like soft floral scents, and the musk in their blends so beautifully with the peach and rose. It’s a instant mood lifter whenever I smell it I feel so good.My mom is very picky when it comes to perfumes and even she loved this , literally you will not regret buying this. However the only con is that for the price it doesn’t last that long on me it’s last for about 3 hours only 😢 however it depends from person to person as perfumes alter with your body chemistry !!!

jhindsb

If For Her EDT is the sultry, little black dress and red lipstick wearing femme fatale, the For Her EDP is her poised and graceful alter ego who wears a black lace lingerie set under a cashmere sweater and Levi 501’s. Both elegant, classy, feminine, and sexy but in different ways.

The signature Narciso Rodriguez musk is rounded out by the rose, peach and sandalwood here. While the EDT is sharpened by osmanthus and orange blossom, the EDP is fluffier, softer, and a little safer. The sillage stays closer to the skin than EDT. One could get away with owning both because they’re different enough but I could see EDP appealing to a slightly younger audience or someone who is just being introduced to prominent musk. EDT is a modern take on a classic musk, EDP is just modern and straightforward. A little bit more linear but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

Overall, I think I prefer the EDT but EDP may be more versatile for a wider range of occasions, including a safe office scent and warmer weather. If you are put off by the sharper edge of the white florals and citrus in the EDT, this is definitely the obvious alternative.

rinrinlovesrinrin

i was immediately drawn to this perfume, and i second-guessed myself.. and as it turns out, it's one of my absolute favorites, day-to-day all occasions, feminine, sensual, intimately flirty, elegant, soft, comforting, and has a bit of animalic undertone that makes it addictive and sexy as well. this for sure is a signature scent and you know what's even better, is i watched some reviews stacking this up against the edt (citrusy, has some white florals, sharper and projects more according to reviews) and the edt is usually the preferred fragrance. i don't typically prefer citrusy or white florals within scents only because i don't enjoy bright or sharp perfumes *usually.. with a few exceptions*, so if you're like me and want a rosy and somewhat peachy perfume that really amplifies the musk aspects with not too much else but a nice very lightly smokey drydown, give this baby a sniff. underrated. so intimidate and cozy and warm and perfectly musky.

but also i know i love this particular scent after realizing that i reach for the subtle, warm, powdery, musky, smokey and sweet perfumes the most and somehow i went from overspraying my clothes and wrist and neck and having to stop myself from spraying also my hair and inner elbows and knees and feet to keeping it more minimal because it became a "thing" for me to keep it more subtle (when it comes to perfumes at least) and .... a rather more conservative way of wearing fragrance. it's something that comes with age, i suppose. i'm not sure but those who love brighter and sharper fragrances will find this to be quite muted but i love the enveloping musk and animalic notes. if you love roses and musk, get this.

Sweet Satine

I literally bought so many many perfumes blindly, I would not buy this one because of mixed reviews. Eventually I joined a perfume subscription and my sixth month I received Narciso For Her. I fell in love, omg! This is such a beautiful scent on me, my husband actually noticed and I could see that he really loved this perfume on me. Narciso Rodriguez is not a typical floral perfume, it smells like a spicy, rose with amber and the musk gives it an extra bang! I smell amber and the animalic scent gives this a beautiful, sexy scent. I have found my signature. I immediately spent the money on a full bottle. I love this perfume!

Greg & Claire

First time trying this beautiful EDP this past weekend and had to buy it.
This is a masterpiece! It is everything that is feminine & gorgeous in a scent. This is suitable for any occasion for any age. It’s just beautiful!

Kaleigha

First spray reaction: This is really nice. Soft and safe and pretty. I can't think of anything bad to say about it. We shall see how the performance is, but right now it seems like a nice, safe buy. I could see this being a really nice bedtime fragrance if nothing else.

Day two: I like it. A solid like. Not a love or something I will run out and pick up a full bottle of tomorrow, but if I see one for a decent price I would grab it and be happy. I think it would be a good base fragrance for layering, too.

Binst145

Powdery, rosy musk, not sweet but the patchouli makes it quite powdery. I like it, very safe and inoffensive, clean and a little sophisticated.

Keonaaa

Wow! I’ve had this along with the EDT sitting on my dresser for at least 2 years. I couldn’t understand the hype but I also didn’t give either of them a fair chance. I went on vacation and took the pink bottle, the edp with me and FELL IN LOVE! I smelt so sensual, sexy, warm and beautiful all day long! I kept smelling myself! The rose and musk are beyond sexy. Such a feminine perfume. I’ve been wearing it often since giving it another chance and I may buy another bottle since I don’t want to be without it. I prefer the edp over the edt but the edt is nice also.

Zoeanne

It's nice, nothing too amazing but a nice warm, floral scent that is easy to wear.

mabelangel

she's just okay! nothing special, if anything a small bit outdated and boring. reminiscent of something you'd find snooping around in your mothers beauty drawer. i honestly don't get any rose from this? it's def musky and powdery but not very floral? more so fruity! to me it smells sort of like cherry medicine. eugh! i don't think this is an unlikeable scent as i always give perfumes 2 chances before declaring whether or not i dislike them and i've only tried this once. not really a safe blind buy i'd say :/

miewtje

I have overlooked this for too long. I blind purchased a bottle somewhere because a couple of raving reviews got me curious as i was looking for a nice creamy musk. I didn't have one yet and i finally wanted one. I do love plain musks but i never liked wearing them because after a couple of hours of wear i would tend to get bored with them and find myself craving something with a little more character. Hence the reason i've never owned any musks before. I love this because this is basic without being plain. It truly wowed me at first spritz and i can't really put my finger on, as to why that is because it's not the most groundbreaking perfume. Few things wow me and the things that do usually smell nothing like this since i usually find myself very much attracted to notes of clove, amber and incense. So you see, this is quite the opposite of what i usually feel attracted towards. It smells like mildly sweet clammy skin underneath a linnen shirt. It's sour and creamy like yoghurt. It's fluffy like freshly sun dried laundry. It's secure in it's silence. It stands out because of it's posture, not because it's screaming to be noticed. rose and musk combo's are often sharp to my nose. This is not. Absolutely. not. If you are looking for a comforting, mature and creamy sexy musk then look no further.

(you can wear this all year around but i do think it will come out best in fall-like temperatures. Hence the rating. But know that you can just as easily wear it in summer or any other season).

Marlinte

My favourite!
A really comforting musky flowerperfume.
First spray a little sharp ( what I experience with some other Narciso perfumes as well) but the drydown is really wooly and pink.
It is exactly what I wished for when I saw that beautiful botlle, and was.
10/10

Lotte_Liese

This is a feminine, pink floral, musky fragrance. My review will be short because there is nothing noteworthy about his fragrance, nothing that captures your attention or that you can zone into. It is a well blended, nice, put on without thinking about it, fragrance. Full stop. The poudree flanker however, is something worth paying close attention to.

TulipSnake

Straight from the bottle this reminds me of shaving foam. Once it reacts with the skin though, the first thing I notice is peach,a juicy perfect one you just need to take a bite from. The rose is a little more in the background and keeps this from becoming a little girl's fragrance.
Then the musk appears, balancing the peach more and giving it a sensual and seductive aura, while remaining elegant and fresh. The amber, sandalwood and patchouli take their time to become more noticeable but they're definitely there underneath the peachy rose-musk.
This fragrance is stunning, memorable and noticeable, without drawing all the attention. It's perfect when you want to just smell good without taking centre stage.
It's also great for the office, warm days and smelling clean and fresh but still unique.
A very unexpected favourite of mine, because the first spray really threw me off. Love at second glance, that has lasted for years and years now. I'm on my third bottle.

Lili1105

The EDP is definitely a lighter version than the EDT. If I had to describe the perfume as simply as possible, I personally feel that the EDP is a very, very, very light version of Fleur Musc. Those of you who know Fleur Musc know that it is a rather sharp strong scent of rose with a hint of peony. It's a floral bomb.. The EDP has exactly the same (in my opinion) Bulgarian rose but without the peony, but in this case the rose is really very delicate and soft. The rose practically dominates from beginning to end, but it is very soft, velvety and blends with creamy musk. In the beginning, it is sweeter, which is probably due to the peach, which I personally do not smell at all, but as soon as the head fades, a soft, fresher rose with musk remains. If you're looking for heavier roses like Bulgarian rose oil, or something sweet and deeper, you won't find it here. Than is for you better to buy Musc Noir Rose. The perfume is fantastic for the office, daily wear, but also for a romantic walk.. It is an uncomplicated, more or less linear, elegant scent.. Durability is medium and the intensity is rather skinscent.

phoebe25

Got a small sample in my goodiebox, and I really like this one. It has a nice rosey drydown. I´ve now had it on for a couple of hours, and the rose shines through. I now know which parfume I´m gonna wear to my nieces confirmationparty this week.

So far my favorite of the Narciso Rodriguez perfumes. It is exactly as described, without hitting you over the head. Peach and rose opening with a steadfast white musk in the center, which persists with the help of patchouli and sandalwood. A great introduction to musky fragrances, it is powdery, soft, feminine, and comforting. There is something a bit sterile and rubbery, like a pink eraser, that I actually find charming. It is long-lasting with good sillage, but not enough to sicken people. The color of the bottle perfectly announces what is contained within.

Mammajamma

(Take this with a grain of salt because my nose is still trash at smelling since I got sick)
I might smell this one “upside-down”? On the opening, I immediately get a very sharp, peppery-patchouli soap! It smells like the bright fizzy cleaned up patchouli that is responsible for pushing La Vie Est Belle outwards into the room. I can smell something softer underneath it just waiting for its time. It also seems tangy and makes my mouth water. This stays about an hour on me being very bright and pushing its way out into the air. This is when it reminds me of original SJP Lovely which stayed extremely herbal and high pitched to me. But then… this softens and I smell rosebuds and a little peach, but a pretty natural one, and not quite ready to eat. The musk is smooth, and everything is blanketed by it now. I never find any real sweetness in this but it gains a nice softness of petals which Lovely never had (in my opinion)
Fractalized patchouli like in flowerbomb and LVEB is now just supportive. Lasting power, I don’t know yet. When I wear it to work at the salon, my friends will let me know ;)
I will put 2-3 sprays max under my top on my first out-of-the-house wear, I don’t want to bother my clients. Let’s see how it goes!

KAYAGIRL

Nooooo... brought big bottle of this thinkng it was tha pink Narciso Rodriguez perfume my cousin had. Now I'm thinkng maybe it was the other pink ones poudree or L'eau.... guttered I spent so much.
Anyone in wellington nz wanting to buy cheap asking $100 plus postage. Stunning scent but I want the one I'm looking for. Also keen to buy decants of these two or can swap for decants of anything in my collection, on my profile page 😊

thaochipnd

The gentle, soft blend of Rose and Musk gives Vibes femininity and clarity. It's like the smell of women's pollen :)

The fragrance is romantic, gentle and sexy, a little “Creamy” from White Musk, very suitable for use at the office or daily walking. The scent of Rose is not really clear because it is completely overwhelmed by Musk. It gives Vibes clean girl, as if the scent of flesh is very seductive. The minus point is that the fragrance stays on my skin for only about 2-3 hours, maybe it doesn't suit my skin.

Rating: 7/10, nice scent. I wish it had longer performance

Birona

I love the blend of musk and rose in this fragrance. It makes me feel feminine, beautiful, clean, and classy. The peach to my nose is almost not noticeable, but I think it gives the fragrance a lift to prevent the musk from getting too heavy. The first sprays didn't last too long on me, maybe a few hours, but today I rubbed coconut oil on where I wished to wear it and the longevity is much better, not taking away from the fragrance at all. I'm not sure I would wear it to the office - a little too rosy and feminine to a point where it could be distracting. Anywhere else though, game on!

VintageMaven

This is a stunner...
The peach rose and musk blend so well, it's intoxicating! I disagree that it's a day office perfume. This is too sexy. I don't want to behave! I want to get in my open top vintage convertible and drive into the sunset. I definitely feel like a beautiful woman wearing this.
I have no idea why it's being compared to Lovely by SJP. They don't even belong on the same planet. Certainly not in the same class at least.

agejo

this perfume is so cute! this perfume to me is very strong with floral notes? perhaps it's the rose, but either way it's amazing! i love the 'powdery', lol. it's like a very soft perfume.. one of my favourites to wear if i'm wearing a light outfit! overall, an amazing fragrance from narciso!

Mashalala

This fragrance makes me want to behave .Sprayed on an tissue paper I immediately dismissed it as an ordinary fragrance with nothing special about it.After a day or so I came back to it and could definitely appreciate it's uniqueness, however it made me want to be on my best behavior, that distant, formal lady who plays it safe yet smells fresh and beautiful. It reminds me of what Jodie Foster might wear as Clarice in Silence of the Lambs, strictly business, professional, not screaming for attention or loud, just clean, very clean and put together.A bit too mellow or boring for me, has flight attendant vibes.

Shan101beauty

So feminine and gives off a professional vibe. Ideal for the workplace. A clean working boss lady.

Windermere

This is the closest I've ever come to a signature fragrance, even though I can only really enjoy it in colder months. I have no idea if anybody else gets this or knows the smell I'm talking about, but this fragrance on my skin smells just like an old wool coat after being worn through a rainstorm. Just amazing, soft, and human, with a little nose-tickling sharpness to it. Will always love this one

Iristhenurse

Holly molly! I have got so many compliments wearing this scent from everyone at work. I have 40 bottles in my collection but somehow this one is such a star when it comes to getting compliments. People like how refreshing and pleasant it is and was following me, trying to sniff it in lol! So flattering. You will smell like a clean, innocent, humble, classy and likable young lady without "trying too hard". I can tell you this is a crowd pleaser and if you want to be liked then definitely wear this. Perfect for work, interview, casual events. I really love how powdery, musky and rosy it is, perfectly blended. This babe oozes with gentleness , very inoffensive, feminine and comforting. She doesn’t last long on skin but last a decent time on fabric. She is a bit "weak" for my liking , which is a con, so I had to spray a lot to have a stronger sillage. But I’m okay with that. Another con is NR is generally overpriced.
Side story: 17 years ago, my ex bf gave me a BVlgari perfume that smells similar to this. When we broke up, I hated him so i gave it to my mum although I did love the scent, and now I cant find a similar smell with BVlgari. This is the closest to that rosy scent.

PrincessAlyssa25

This is a sexy business woman scent.

SophiaViolette

The first spray doesn’t give much impression, nor strong projection, just some florals and something fruity after 4 sprays (for better projection). The rose is subtle, the peach is musky-creamy, very soft.
The patchouli at dry-down quickly brings the freshness I was looking for.
But I feel as the more I keep smelling, the more the musk gets a little bit artificial or overdone. The florals smell organic though.

Very pretty overall, but have to really spray more if you want to leave some trail. I also understand this was more the intent with this line, this sits close to the skin. This is conservative, elegant, feminine, subtle, absolutely wearable daily especially for work/corporate.

Oh, this! In my early 20s, I "met" this smell on my painting teacher one day in the fine arts class and I have been obsessed with this... this... this warm, intense, intelligent, rosy and low-key sexy smell ever since. I also got a bit of a crush on my teacher after this day :)) I had no idea what I smelled but I just fell in love with it. By accident, I found this perfume in a shop a few months later and wore it proudly more than 10 years as my signature scent.
For me first I sense dense rose nectar smell in a hot summer evening - the type of smell that gives you a headache because it's too thick. But the heaviness fades quickly and then I only smell honey and a cheerful rose. And a bit of peach maybe, but maybe only because I know it's there. It's veeery feminine in the beginning but I almost prefer the later stages when in turns musky, dusky, sexy, sweetly poisonous almost. It pulls you in.
Even though now I have grown out of it, in my opinion this will never get old and I always have a bottle of this in my shelf.

CarmenNola23

An expertly fine-tuned version of the original. Very balanced, as I prefer powdery musks to a patchouli bomb. The flower element changes in the EDP to rose, which I think works better than the white florals in the EDT. It feels grown up yet it’s definitely safe and inoffensive for the office or a day outing. Projection is gentle but it’s definitely there, longevity is great. This fragrance is a perfect example of how using moderation with powerful notes can create something really beautiful and comforting to wear.

Biologic

Unfortunately this turns into a poopy smell on me :( I've tested twice. And SJP Lovely does the same thing. The EDT smells like burnt hair on me. I have no problems with Pure Musc though!

PeacefulSunshine

I was having a bad today today, but when I went to spray this on my wrists... my soul calmed.

I have about 5 scents I alternate through, but this one... This one is my signature. It's just like being hugged in the softest peach-colored fuzzy hug. As an anxious person whose deepest quest is for inner peace, this is the fastest natural way I can find that serenity. It's almost opiate-like with how soothing this is to me.

For Her is Pure Beauty.

eylulcnar

The musk is strong on this one. One of the only perfumes I enjoy among musky fragrances. Although the longevity could be improved, it is a perfume that could be layered lots and it won't be overwhelmingly annoying. Although I can't point out the peaches, it is heavy on floral. It is a refreshing scent.

PrincessCoconuts

The most perfect and beautiful peach rose musk. Sophisticated without being too grown up or cloying. I love this beyond belief.

Nemorivaga

I was really expecting myself to like this since I love rose and musk, but to me this really just smelled like “grandma’s bathroom”, definitely not something to blindbuy.

Twentzel

Very very similar to Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker (90-95%). I like it, but I still prefer Lovely 💕

Gigi7891

I hate when people say “old lady” perfume like it’s a bad thing but I think what they mean is that specific smell that comes from vintage perfumes. This has that. Biting smell like nail polish. Like someone spilled nail polish and they are trying to cover up the smell with some very floral/rose perfume. Ironically I like almost all the flankers.

nigella12

This is very pretty. Smells exactly as the notes say. The notes blended together are stunning. Very seductive/sexy scent but soft and wearable. There is no danger of being too much or off.

linoleum

Sephora just sent it to me. I spritz it and wait. Lo and behold. In my skin, I can only smell fruity/citrussy, almost like Idylle. I'm so sad.

Pia20

This perfume appeals to my softer, gentler side. The musk on this perfume is particularly dominant, but it pairs well with the rose. I love the combination, I love this perfume.

SirensSolace

Cool, creamy rose. I’m on my 3rd bottle of this. There is nothing like this. SJP lovely is more transparent and has a lavender note that sings. NR for her is a rose cold cream, grey wet asphalt in the fog.

LindaL100

This is my favourite fragrance from Narciso, it's a very beautiful floral fragrance with a very strong rose scent that I love and it lasts a long time on my skin.

Nanennah

I used to love smelling this on other people, so I got my own bottle. Big mistake. Somehow, I couldn't stand it on myself : way too sweet, powdery and synthetic.

fareri251

It smells amazing, but the price is too much since the longevity is not too crazy for this one. Basically 40$ for a 30ml bottle. I'd pay 30 honestly.

Thykes10

There's definitely a powdery rose in the beginning, but I don't get any peach. After the opening, I find it difficult to detect individual notes. So must be well blended. It feels pretty and comforting. But there's something in the drydown that comes off dirty and animalic? Not sure if it's the infamous dirty musk coming out or something else. I need to try this a few more times because I catch some whiffs I love but other times it comes off sharp and animalic. Tons of people compare this to SJP Lovely and I think I prefer that one. Rating "ok" for now because of the up and downs I get while testing.

girldeadbug

Hmmm… I didn’t like this at first, it went straight to too much rosy mature musk, but the longer I let it sit on this Narciso Rodriguez For Her ribbon I sprayed in Macy’s, the more I come to like it. Not sure if I would want to buy it. Maybe a 1oz. to spray my bedding. By the time I’d get to bed, I would get to the stage of the scent I enjoy. It’s clean, fresh, partially fruity, velvety pale pink rose petals. I imagine Delina smells like this a bit but I could be totally wrong! I get a woody smell, and a coolness somehow. Interesting. Winning the case for being great on bedding.

raenjoki

this one grew on me. perfect for spring

Himani Gupta

On my skin, it smells like Jasmine and not rose so i like to layer it with a rose fragrance, and that makes it smell like the perfect floral-woody wifey fragrance. Clean, sophisticated, blooming and very feminine. There's a cooling/soothing sitting-near-the-lake vibe about it. Good for work as well as a daytime date. I'd reach out to this fragrance on a rainy day mostly. Nice longevity and average sillage. Reminds me of Archies UXR.

rooney.mai

This smells like jasmine to me. Kinda similar to the one in Elie Saab Le Parfum.

Enrium

Narciso Rodriguez for Her is a musky modern classic that smells very similar to SJP Lovely - a scent I received a big bottle of in my teens, and am very familiar with as a result. NR is rosier however, which reminds me of when I layered Lovely with Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose, unsuspectingly trying to create a similar effect.

NR is musky from initial spray, featuring a strong but clean white musk note. Powdery rose joins it after a little while, forming the musky-rose accord that makes up the crux of this scent. It is otherwise difficult to pick out individual notes. I don't get much peach, just some muted sweetness at the opening, but I get a prominent tea note, adding a lovely hint of freshness. This phase lasts for several hours.

Woody notes and some earthy patchouli emerge during the drydown, complementing the musky rose nicely. It becomes more animalic at its later stages, culminating in a musky-amber drydown. Sillage is moderate-to-strong, and longevity is long-lasting.

An excellent musky scent, NR is a feminine, transeasonal daytime scent. However, much as I like the rosiness, it isn't enough to differentiate it from Lovely, so it's not FBW for me. Elegant with an edge. 4/5.

BougieGirlShops

Editing to add revised review: I have fallen in love with this. Hard. The few times I wore this I couldn't stop sniffing myself! I also applied over Kayali Vanilla 28 one day because that had started to fade. OMG I smelled ah-mazing!

This is the type of rose I like in perfumes, it has depth and not jammy sweet. It's hard to describe this perfume for me, it doesn't smell complex but you know there's many notes involved. It's just blended very smoothly so it's hard to discern specific notes. The rose/patchouli/sandalwood almost has a black tea scent for me.

While I don't love it, I keep being drawn into smelling my arm. Part of it is because it is such a smooth fragrance, there's nothing screechy or astringent at all. There's an aura of mystery or je ne sais quoi about this that I cannot articulate. It's a fragrance that will make someone want to lean into you to breathe it in.

dancingdear

I do like NR fragrances. From the ones I have tried they have managed to be musky without feeling suffocating which can be difficult to find.
This is a like from me. I thought the peach note would make this a more fun scent but the peach in this went to finishing school.
I get professional vibes from the EDP nothing wrong with it I guess I was just expecting something more playful.
I can picture Siobhan Roy from Succession wearing this.

Veronica1962

This has a very strong synthetic scent and you can’t ignore it, it’s almost intoxicating, I don’t think the base notes are right 3/10

Maggietilda

Well this is weird... It smells a lot of rose, and I don't usually like rose scents? But I use this every day and layer it with Katy Perry Mad Love (sorry if this is illegal layering combo lol) and that is my everyday "go to" combo - and I love it!

vietnamese_love_perfume

A nightmare for me. I cannot smell anything sexy or sweet. Only strong musk with my sweat become terrible scent

Not a safe blind buy

GemSH

I received it as a gift for St. Valentine's day several years ago. Was the most mesmerizing one I could choose among all those we found and tried that day and it was also the limited edition one. With a pink bow knot on a gracious ribbon around the bottle. It's frageance reflected exactly how I felt of myself in that period, feminine, soft, exclusive and enchanting because of the particular circumstances in which I found myself. It's not overly flowery and sweet because of the slightly sour note of the peach, which gives it a hint of character.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her has been definitely the one which introduced me to the musk, as how they define it an "oriental scent", together with the sandalwood let me feel embraced by a big and fluffy hug like I fell into a pink lithe cloud.

I think it's perfect for an evening event, a date for two, or even a dinner with friends and family. Still like it after years even if I'm changed little bit as character on my personal advise, but as a nice memory, why not.

AdalynEverly

I love this perfume, and this is coming from a woman that HATES rose perfumes. If you love clean musk with a girly twist this one is for you. The patchouli in here is done right, and is not necessarily overbearing. However, the patchouli is on the edge of being way too much. For that I would give a 4/5 only because patchouli doesn't like me.

Summary:
Smells like: a regular rose patchouli perfume
Family of: PDM Delina (-tartness +heaps patchouli)
Silage: medium

Verdict:
Pass- Now that I have tried other rose perfumes. I can safely say this is the better ones. However, it’s a little too regular for my taste. I love delina a little better but not by much. If you love rose you might really like this one. I also think this perfume doesn’t have anything special going on imo.

shomica

I don't see the appeal of this perfume. It opens with a rose scent that settles down to musk on my skin and I find it really unflattering. Thought I might enjoy it as a fresh basic to have in my rotation but I just can't bring myself to like it no matter how hard I try.

frag_nostalgia

Ran out of the traveller I purchased from microperfumes, and that's when I realized that I can't live without this. Especially as we go into fall. It's a warm, fluffy and enveloping amber and creamy white musk, with jammy rose and juicy peach. The smell just makes me feel so warm and cozy inside, so beautiful and feminine. It's a freshly cleaned and fluffed-up blush pink microfiber down quilt, wrapping you up on a rainy autumn morning; with only the glow of a rose scented candle lighting the atmosphere. Can't live without this fragrance!

spicywoody

Not sure why the rating is low. I guess it comes back to how it develops on each person's unique chemistry and natural scent (pardon my English, I hope you know what I mean). Yes this perfume might not be unique, but for me this perfume is very addicting. Everytime I wear it I always sniff my skin and get a very pleasant feeling. Tried as a decant and now having the full size 100ml bottle. I happily wear it every night after shower before going to bed. Also wear it almost everyday for office. Not a fan of musk in general, but this one is a must have on my collection.

Gemsense

Regalkitten-- I'm that aunt! Lol 😆 I love that strong soapy scent. It's clean, it's Sunday, rainy day, simple yet still overwhelming which I Love 💖. This is the perfect church fragrance and/or brunch fragrance with all the other loud Aunts 😊🌹so soft, sweet, clean, and suffocating.

Lea.hem

I've gone back to this fragrance time and again in the hopes that I'd like it the next time around. Unfortunately it reminds me of a bathroom spray every time I smell it, whether I spray it in the air, on myself or on a third person. The poor blending of the rose and musk I think are the culprits here, it's just totally off-putting.

All She Wants

This fragrance has been so popular and sounded so beautiful, I had to try it! I happily sprayed it on, anxiously awaiting to be enveloped in a delicious and delightful aroma. I was certainly enveloped, but it wasn't pretty. All I could smell was this perfume my mother wore by Avon called "Occur"!. Smell's of a heavily scented hand cream a woman in her nineties would have in her purse that is several year's old! My kid never comments on any fragrance I wear, but he certainly commented on this one with, "What's that awful smell?" I'm thankful I was going out of the house, or would have had to take a bath or cancel my plans, if there was no time for a bath. It wasn't totally me, because it didn't smell great in the bottle. I do have issues with fragrances, failing to progress to a full dry down, on my body, is the only way I can explain it. I found it funny that For Her and Occur sounded similar. Lol. It is a HUGE no for me! I would rather smell like Mr. Clean than For Her!

anneymn

Most delicious intoxicating musk I’ve come across to date. Feminine, creamy, soft pink, yummy, maternal, I love it.

But my nose quickly starts ignoring it, I can’t wear for more than a few days or I can’t smell it, and I really want to smell it, it’s really gorgeous.

EDIT: I bought this in the middle of summer, it’s cooled off and I’m wearing it right now… it smells better in warm/hot weather on me. If you’ve tried this in cold weather and didn’t like it, you should give it a second try in warm weather. I have a couple perfumes with patchouli that smells so different on me in hot versus cold weather, and this is one of them.

violeteme

Softest whispers of femininity, so tender, vague, elegant and minimal. It smells clean, but not fresh or laundry-like, more like skin that has just been washed with creamy rose soap. +

Subhuman

A cup of milky tea on a rainy afternoon. Relaxed, warm, sensual, and easy. And, despite the aggressively gendered marketing that feels like a hangover from the '90s, it's essentially unisex once the peachy opening fades. At the very least, it's not feminine in the modern candied mode - no caramel, vanilla or powdered sugar in this blend. The star of the show is musk, and it's a relatively dry one, buffeted by silky rose, patchouli, and sandalwood. There's less sweet amber than in the original For Her eau de toilette, and the overall effect is less come-hither, more comfort blanket. It mostly smells like warm skin, whereas the EdT feels ornamental, a deliberate weapon of seduction with bigger sillage and bolder intentions. Your mileage may vary, but I find this EdP more versatile and essentially casual, wearable in any weather and for every occasion, providing a soft background hum to your day (as long as you can still smell it, musks being what they are). It's the kind of scent that satisfies when everything else in your collection feels like too much. And, lest this all sounds like the most boring perfume on earth, I'll cop to wearing it for a week straight because I couldn't get enough of it. Whatever magical musk is in the vats over at Narciso, it's enough to cancel critical thinking. Good stuff.

likesleet

musky, but in a fresh, soft, feminine way.

ViouAmara

It’s like… racing and racing from one fragrance to another one, but still feeling empty, or is it alone? And then, a bit angry, you stumble on this, and you can rest because this is it, you don’t even want to talk about it anymore. The pink smooth silky bottle is simply placed next to the mirror and the sink, familiarly silent, and that's fine.
Who could complain about this ?

Gioia's secret

I don’t know how this perfume smelled before, I have just recently tested everything from Narciso Rodrigues at store, they all smelled very intimate, except of Ambree. Moreover, I haven’t found any difference between this one, another pink one(dark pink), and musc noir.

buriedinthewoods

They might have reformulated it, or I received a bad batch.
I have just bought it in Italy at a Douglas store.
I used to love this in 2011-2012, I would spray myself with it every time I went to the mall and I would love to keep it on till I went to bed, but then I got For Her Eau de Toilette Delicate and I couldn't justify buying this one too.
Now after the long lockdown I felt like I would treat myself to what I remembered as my number one in my wish list.
But lo and behold it was nothing like I remembered it. More than remembering this specific flanker, the problem is that what I received lacked the strong but clean and bright musk that the whole line used to have.
The musk in this one is just one of the notes, I can smell mostly the patchouli-sandalwood base and the other notes are there, but a bit muted. It doesn't even last 4 hours on my skin. This definitely doesn't smell expensive.
I was able to return it at the store and I bought something else entirely.
I will just cherish my Eau Delicate even if I never liked the coriander or some other note in it.

melissa97

It was suggested that I try this perfume as I love perfumes with musk in it. Before I buy the perfume, I spray it on my wrist at the store. But I think the peach was too dominant for me. It had a sweet fruity scent that outweighed even the musk note. I couldn't feel the rose, sandalwood, and patchouli notes. I wish I could feel them instead of peaches. I could even feel the musk note lightly after 6 hours. Unfortunately, this perfume was a disappointment for me and I did not buy the perfume.

SlavicPrincess7

I wanted to like this so much because I had heard how elegant and beautiful this perfume was touted to be. Back in 2014 I went into my local Sephora and picked up a bottle, after trying them out in the store for a couple hours. For some reason, all was fine in the store. But after wearing it around, my coworkers began complaining and one of them couldn't stand close to me because of it. I was kind of sad. I thought the fragrance was growing on me, because I realized it was stronger on me than when I had tested it in Sephora. I started getting headaches after about a week of wearing it. I had to stop wearing it at work. I just was bombarded with the patchouli and became nauseated every time I wore this. It started to make me sneeze also. I eventually gave it away to my sister and she enjoys it. I cannot STAND this perfume. I'm definitely not a fan of intense patchouli. This perfume will straight up give it to you, so beware.

DT953

Just stunning. Really, truly stunning. This started out my search for an office fragrance in the fragrances I already owned and I think it may already be a winner. It's... similar to Lovely, but much more musk heavy and with a touch of rose. It also has a bit of powdery peach flesh. I've owned and worn Idylle quite a bit and, frankly, don't consider them all that similar. Idylle is like a fresh, sparkling wine and this is 'pretty' summed up in a word. It's very likely you've smelt this before on someone else.

Katie <3

I think I prefer this EDP to the EDT. It has a hint of spice that is appealing, just like in SJP Lovely, I think is possibly the patchouli, it's very pleasant. I currently use this interchangeably with Lovely and I am in musk heaven. Highly recommend both this and Lovely. ❤️

taurusenergy

This is a high quality easy reach. Peach is just adding a hint of sweetness, it’s really just a fresh rose and musk fragrance. Feminine, sophisticated, and slightly fancy. Something you could wear every day to feel put together, or to a daytime event. The reviewer who mentioned this pairing well with pearl earrings is spot on. And while that really isn't my vibe, this is has such a beautiful, realistic rose note I think I’ll just have to find something to layer my sample with.

MargotM

Daily go-to, fast-becoming signature scent. Whiskey in a teacup, iron fist in a velvet glove... best not to underestimate her kinda gal... she's warm, sharp, classy, bright, soft and never too sweet.

If you don't go for gourmands, like myself, you might give this one a go.

Sierra_b

It's not sweet very musky Rosey perfume but it's not for me unfortunately

cjoudas

I like this far more than narciso's pure musc (which I've heard others refer to as the absolute pinnacle of the genre). It's very pretty and mature. I may not be at the phase of life for it yet, but don't let me suggest that it's old-ladyish, just that it's sophisticated and feminine in a way I'm not ready to commit to. I suspect this is about as good (challenging, balanced, evocative and interesting) as mainstream designer frags get. (Yes I am a snob, but the real takeaway should be how much I like this)

Lady Nightshadow

Feminine, elegant, soft.
Absolutely beautiful for everyday wearing, whatever you're doing with your life.
The scent is true to the notes listed: a powdery sweet rose, on top of musk and deepened by amber and sandalwood.
It's a pity it can be smelled quite frequently on other women, but it is that good and its fame is well deserved.
Best paired with pearls earrings and nude makeup.

janinedello

I just finished another bottle of this perfume. I must say it is one of my top five favourites. It doesn’t last long on my skin, about two hours, but I can always smell it on others, so I guess my nose gets used to it and it disappears on me. I love it when I first spray it on though. Divine, soft musk.

sheebreezy

Very rosy and musky. But not a heavy musk, kind of like a white musk? Inoffensive and really doesn't smell bad, it's just not my cup of tea. I'm more into gourmands/vanillas/fruity type frags, and bought a tester of this one to try to branch out a bit and broaden my horizons. Unfortunately, this one just doesn't do it for me, but if you like rosy-floral-light-musk, you'd probably like it.

dilagrms

Very clean and feminine. It’s also very long lasting with a decent sillage. My sister uses this perfume and whenever she uses it before going to work, I still smell it on her when she gets back home 7 hours later.

Hodak

Smells lovely but the performance is quite disappointing. Don’t think I would buy it with that price for that extremely weak performance. Wish it lasts longer

msmoleskin

in spite of there being nothing classic or poetic here, i somehow can’t stop sniffing this cosy fluff. it’s so— well done. fresh rose, pale patchouli, warm clean skin, pink without being sweet… put it on your sweater and settle in. i wish my shampoo smelled like this. basic but beautiful.

Tarine

I got a tester of it. In fact, I used to hate it even though I love the EDT version. The reason why is it sometimes smells like a gray clay on my skin. But I start to like it. At the beginning, I do smell peach and some flower scent. Then, it becomes musky sophisticated smell. One of my friends smelled it and she said it was discrète and another said the smell was not sweet at all. She also said that it was a bit masculine !! I didn’t expect that comment.

When the scent is put on a ribbon, it smelled sooo good. It made me imagine a scent of princess.

Do not blind buy this! I was so excited to try this based on the good reviews it had but it has such a strong Rose scent that’s sickening. And it gives me old lady vibes :( if you’re trying to get this I highly recommend you to get the EDT one

laurenrebeccaroth

Overall one of the best scents in my collection. It's a favorite of French women and I completely understand why. It's a light floral, I wouldn't say it's rose, but it's a fantastic every day scent.

Vikutes

It is my new everyday perfume for spring - summer 2022. It's very clean, I love it :)

janevee

I wore this perfume when it first came out. I was an office lady always in air con so wearing this scent was sweet and polite. I think it’s sweet and feminine without being saccharine, but not too “old musky” either. Such a thing as “fresh musky?” It’s very comforting but not in the warm, heavy way… cool and heavy but not damp. I had both this and SJP Lovely and I thought Lovely was more aquatic.

Recently tried this at the cosmetic store and remembered why I liked musky scents in the first place. It’s just pretty. It smells juicier than before… has it been reformulated? They have 30ml bottles now so thought it was a cute little way to reminisce and feel girly.

Kandykitten68

I was so excited to sample this as I have read so many good reviews on this popular brand .
My first impression was very rosy and floral I also got a very strange weed like smell come through which was horrible and really strong middle notes after about an hour was very Sarah
Jessica Parker fragrance Lovely which reminds me of a very elegant woman in her 60s after about 3 hours of injuring this pungent floral scent it finally dried down to more flowers with a tiny hint of musk sorry not my bag too rosy felt like I was being suffocated sorry to all you narciso fans out there

CreamSunshine

To me this smells like floor cleaner blended with musk. I think I don’t get along with the musk this fragrance house usually uses, either. Lesson learned, will stay away. I think you either love that synthetic smelling musk or hate it.

blackcat02

This is so florally to me but it's not rose. It's like the yellow pollen from the inside of a flower. It's the main thing I smell in this with some musky amber. I don't really pick up on the other notes. Except the smallest hint of peach. I like this, although I do prefer the pure musk version.

Spicy89

I use this as my bedtime scent.
It is soft and delicate with a light projection and light sillage. Short to moderate longevity.
But it is sothing and it makes the bed sheets smell lovely.

qofb

Like a total numpty, I blind bought this, I was just so confident that I would love it. If you have issues with peach in fragrance, be wary of this one. For me, the opening was all about the overripe warm peach, this smells a bit rubbery to me as it's mixed with patchouli.

The stage I actually enjoy is the dry down, which is powdery musky rose. This perfume takes hours to get to that final stage, and when it does, it is so so light and faint and a skin scent. For me, it wasn't worth the endurance of the rubbery peach opening. I was extremely disappointed and retried it over and over again before making the reluctant decision to sell it.

I wish I'd bought the EDT instead because, contrary to what some people say, I think the EDP and the EDT are very different perfumes and I much prefer the EDT. I would also say that if you love Lovely by SJP, the EDT is much more similar to that than the EDP. Try before you buy!

Mondayz

Oh, I really felt like I needed to review this one!
First of all I blind bought this, I was very intrigued by the notes and my tiny collection had nothing like it so I found a 30ml bottle discounted. I think this fragrance is what made me realize I'm not a huge fan of musk. The opening had a metallic zing to it almost like industrial oil. I sprayed it two times, one on each wrist and it made me get the worst headache ever - I even became nauseous after wearing it for 30 mins. This is a STRONG scent! It lingered in my apartment for a whole day after that. When I smell the bottle today I do like the scent, I just don't know how to wear it. It's not a strong like, but I'm willing to give it a chance because to me, under all that musk, there was this gorgeous creamy, powdery rose and peach that I really liked! I noticed that washing the scent away with some water really toned it down.

Conclusion: very torn. The musk is a bit too much for me, there are gorgeous notes under the musk that I like so I'm willing to give it a chance. I probably would've prioritized other scents before getting this one knowing how strong it was. I like smelling the bottle but I see this being a very difficult scent to wear.

I went to the mall knowing for sure I wanted to buy this perfume despite never having tried it before. But when I tried this perfume I was so surprised this smell similar to Le Parfum by Ellie Saab, cannot be because this perfume came out earlier, it should be the other way around😂😂 Whatever, I ended not buying this because I already have Ellie Saab Le Parfum which on my skin smells 90% identical. The SA let me sprayed on my skin for me to decide before I left the counter, just in case the dry down would let me change my mind but instead I went home and sprayed Ellie Saab on my other wrist…dang, it was almost identical. Maybe it’s just me but yeah, I don’t need similar perfume in my collection especially when they came from the same perfumer

giri-boni

Guess it was so imitated it became redundant. Lovely musk and roses scent. Chic, elegant, casual and modern.

Munz

I stocked it as musky 2skin fragrance then forget it for years ... Moderate silage but so basic

frxgrxnce.x

SMELLS SO GOOD

M Low

I initially loved it just from the sample bottle, but then when I sprayed it the fruit or something in it came through really strongly and it kind of made me a bit sick to smell it. It smelled like someone crushed a fruit (peach?) into a soap bottle. It got better but I think I just got used to it. I'll probably pass this to a friend.

kkaattjjeess

Call me a peasant but this smells like a powdery and musky lily of the valley scent to me? I don't see it listed as a note but it's all I can smell and I do not like it.

I very rarely feel the need to scrub off a perfume but defo felt it with this one.

MyersAlice

The EDT is one of my favourite perfumes of all time, and I got this one today.
This EDP is basically the mild version, in my opinion.
Not as strong and heavy. It's a bit more sweet and fresh.
I love both a lot, but I think I prefer the EDT.

Applecross_bitch

Great go to but I’ve surpassed this

anastasija777

I love Narciso and musky scents and this one sounds so good but unfortunately I just can’t smell it on myself. I asked my boyfriend and he said it is floral and pretty strong but I can’t smell it at all… I tried this several times and I just smell nothing :(

missloveschocolate

Imagine a book, in a god forgotten library in a god forgotten place. Someone put a rose inside, for a memory. You want to sneeze as everything around you is so dusty and outlived. Old wood, patchouli and amber decided to argue today - it’s just not the best patchouli, and not the best amber. And not the best rose. Fragrances like this actually made me think I hate roses, while I really don’t, if they’re put together in a nice, balanced arrangement. Nothing is balanced here.
Idea is good, but the interpretation is bad. Very very bad.

GinCatsBooks

I've been a long time wearer and fan of the For Her EdT (black bottle, pink box) and I had been wondering what the differences between the EdT and EdP actually were, I've seen people say that the EdT is sharper and longer lasting and smells totally different to the EdP and I've read reviews where people say that they both smell the same its just the longevity and silage were different.

* blindly orders a 30ml bottle *

Well, I have to say I'm in camp "Its different to the black bottle". For Her EdP smells less raw and the weird plasticy note in the opening of the EdT is replaced with a green, almost metallic snap which reminds me a little bit of Lily of The Valley, the rose and peach combo is sublime; the peach doesn't really smell fruity but adds some softness to the powdery rose note, the rose adds even more powder to the powdery musk, but thankfully, the inclusion of sandalwood stops this from becoming an overload of facepowder. Amber injects some warmth like in the For Her EdT, in both the EdT and EdP I cannot pick up on any of the patchouli at all, so if you are a patchouli hater, give the For Her line a try, you may be very surprised by it.

Are they different? Yes, whilst they do share the same family DNA (given that this is a flanker), the EdP does have some noticable differences to my nose, most notably being that its a lot softer and less "cold powdery" compared to the EdT, the raw, carnal edges of the EdT have been blended out using soft fruits, gentle florals and warm woods.

When to wear? I've worn the EdT pretty much year round, however its more of a fall/winter staple for me given that its a heavy hitter despite it being a second skin type of scent, its also quite sexy in a "come closer" sort of way, the EdP on the other hand does have some of the sex appeal of the EdT but it would work better in a slightly warmer environment and is better suited I think for daytime wear as well as evening wear. Date? EdT. Meeting the parents? EdP.

Is it worth owning both? Yes and no, like one reviewer stated, if you are a big fan of the For Her line or if you can notice the differences on your skin between the two, go for it, but if you don't like musk, or can't tell much of a difference between the two, then just get one. If you've had trouble with the EdT not working well with your skin, its worth trying the EdP and vice versa.

Longevity is actually very very good, lasting a good 8 hours on my skin, but it does become a skin scent quite quickly but thats what I love about the For Her line and the reason I keep coming back for more.
Would I repuchase the EdP? maybe I will when my 30ml runs out

ashleyj317

Smells almost identical to lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. It's just slight less powdery.
Very annoyed by this. Glad it's only a sample.

louiseviray

This perfume is Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT's little sister who's in high school. Like her older and more mature sister, EDP is smart, talented, kind, every teacher's favorite, every student's friend, every boy's crush. EDP has EDT's DNA because they're sisters but they're not at all alike. EDP has a very screechy floral opening that kinda makes you wanna ignore her at first but you can definitely detect the similar DNA so you can't ignore her for long. Eventually, the dry down transforms the scent into a soft, powdery rose that's so hard to ignore. The scent is so pretty, youthful, delicate, and soft that you just want to stand next to any lady wearing it.

This perfume is a great scent for those in their late teens to 30s. Frankly, any age can pull it off coz it's just so pretty. But it's not very versatile. Personally, I can only imagine myself wearing this on days when I want to wear a dress and doll up for a date with someone or even alone. Not a scent I would wear for meetings or more formal occasions. Not even one I would wear for a day filled with physical activities. I like it very much, but it's not a 100mL bottle-worthy for me. Maybe only 30 or 50mL.

loveleen

I really like this perfume. It reminds me of when I was younger and would find one of these samples in a magazine and I would smell it for hours. It smells really refined, ladylike but not too sexy or in your face. When I first spray it, I do notice a bit of a licorice scent, but that disappears and leaves a very fresh, elegant feminine fragrance behind that isn't too floral or musky.

meroo

I love powdery fragrances and you have to do so to like this one.
That being said, this is really classy and calming. It smells much more expensive than it is. I imagine a calm soft spoken sensual woman wearing this and just being delicate. Shame my partner isn’t into fragrances, I might just wear this myself.

Decocritter

Really do not like this at all. Sharp and bitter, too powdery, strange notes. Gave immediate headache

labina

Feminine and classy, make you feel special and confident, it will boost your mood.

RubyMint

Lovely perfume. Classy and well-blended without screaming "look at me!". I smell this and imagine a beautiful, strong well educated woman. This isn't a bubbly "teenage" scent to me, but not mature, either. I'm 29 and feel it fits me perfectly.

I like the EDT too, but think the EDP is smoother, creamier, and more harmonious. It's a great every day scent to take on the world. Don't get me wrong, I love a good gourmand (which I've noticed is very in-style lately), but some days I feel less like smelling like a tasty treat, and more like I'm ready to take on the world. This is the scent for that!

Thant

One of my fav perfume

Feige

I have a sample of this perfume and I think it’s a very powdery, rosey and feminine scent. There’s a note in it though that adds a sprinkle of masculine sharpness to it which makes it a little bit more mature, although it’s still very youthful. I’m 24 and I think it fits me just fine! The scent is also more on the warmer side and it’s a little bit sweet but definitely not the sickly kind.

Interestingly, I can’t stand any scents that contain patchouli, but this perfume is an exception as I can’t really detect it in it. There’s also no vanilla listed in the notes but I can smell a hint of it at the drydown which I love.

I like to spritz this on myself after I’ve just done my make up and put on a dress on a sunny spring day. I find that this scent always helps me complete a feminine look.

marchat

I think my nose is broken. Either that, or I just cannot get into this perfume. I don't smell the peach or the warm scent at all. Initially, it is very sharp and screechy to my nose; very off-putting. After dried down, the screechiness is gone and then it has a "squeaky clean" smell. Not my preference for a fragrance. Anyway, I blind bought this perfume and am unable to return it. I hope to find someone to sell it to. If anyone wants to trade me for any of my "wants" on my profile, I would be interested. PM me please.

**edit** I finally sold it. I am now very wary of Narciso Rodriguez scents. I have tried 3 others and do not like them.

Cxavenoir

Sharp, screechy, tangy, acrid rose musk. It’s a tad off putting and yet bland ?

I’m not a fan, I’ve had a bottle of this for over two years and I really tried to appreciate it but I have come to the conclusion it’s one I’ll have to get rid of.

Demetria

This perfume was love at first sniff. My first and favorite designer fragrance from two years ago and my first perfume to run out!!! The bottle went empty two weeks ago which is insane to me because I never finish anything perfume I either end up throwing it out, giving it away, or just plain hiding it never wearing it again. The smells looks exactly like what the bottle shows, a baby pink bottle. This is a classy scent like you have to look and feel a certain way to wear this. To me it smells like a girl who is coming into her own and becoming a woman. It is such a beautiful rosey, powdery, musky scent. People who've smelled it on me compliment on how good I smell it never fails! The perfume also performs differently in different seasons. When it is warmer the scent intensifies and the rose and musk is much more prominent but when it's colder the scent is a powdery musk with a tinge of floral note in it and honestly I'm the type who wears my perfumes all year round so I don't wait if it's hot or cold to wear. I wear it because I love it and to me the Narciso For Her does well all season. I will add though that as time wears on the smell starts wafting almost lipstick plasticky to me kind of like how makeup back in the day smells very synthetic fragrance but overall it is a minor issue, a beautiful perfume if you can get passed that or don't mind it.

Lemxx

Sexbomb for sure! At first I hated it but I couldn’t forget how bold and elegant at the same time! Rose and musk too much in this perfume but it makes it unique. Without seeing the bottle I can definitely say it’s Narciso Rodriguez for her :) I imagine a redhead who is wearing this fragrance!

ingeneuxo

-Opens smelling more feminine than Narciso EDP (short white cube).
-Has a spicy note that stays throughout.
-A musky scent that smells clean overall.
-Dries down fruity with roses...but in a slightly synthetic and sharp way that could induce a headache.
-Overall a unique fragrance in the realm of designer fragrances.
-Definitely one to get your nose on even if you're usually a niche-only person. (-)

Ferra_Verto

My nose may be broken, but I smell fluffy baked peaches in a bed of musky roses. Both deliciously foody and soothing, a little bit aromatherapeutic. I get the reference to Lovely by SJP, but that one's woodier and more astringent than this. This is perfect all year-round, though I prefer in autumn and winter. Recommend.

brionica1013

Wearing this one is like being hugged by a beautiful woman that you adore. Perhaps your mom, sister, best friend, or favorite teacher, but whoever she is, she always brings you comfort and makes you smile. The rose and peach are very gently feminine and the musk is like a cloud of warmth and softness. I wouldn't call it sexy or sensual, but it is truly gorgeous.

realitygreene

I really like this. For Her EDP seems like it would be perfect for fall/winter despite not having a smoky/spicy/gourmand profile. Sometimes I want something a little different for fall. I'm not a patchouli fan, but it's very nice in here. For the first hour For Her is pretty powdery, but it's an inviting powdery scent. I really love this perfume and can't stop smelling my wrist. This is definitely going on my wish list.

anneshrimatti

I'm surprised no one has compared this to Rumeur by Lanvin (which you can buy a full bottle of for less than $30). To be honest, this is very overhyped. It's a sharp, soapy scent and that's all it is. Rumeur will definitely be more worth your money and has more character to it imo.

audreysoccer

I have smelled this and it smells like something Avon has, Prima. So if you want to try something rosey and very similar try that out it's cheaper. I just can't see spending $$$ on something so rosey and a touch old smelling.

hola gigi

At first spray, this is sharp & sweet. Dry down is powderish with a little rose blended in. Once it's settled, I still smell rose along with amber. It smells good but it sits very close to the skin. Barely there. I would love it if the projection was better.

VeronicaMa

This is so darn overhyped on YouTube. It smells like an above-average rose musk scent. PERIOD. I've had this on for about 30 minutes, and it is starting to smell a little like bug spray, and it's giving me old lady vibes. I'm 52, and this is leaning old lady to even me. I maybe detect a little peach, but I mainly smell the musky rose. There's nothing new here. The HYPE is real. Thank GOD I didn't buy a whole bottle of this. My local Sephora and Nordstrom don't have this in-store, so I ordered a purse spray from Scentbox. So glad I only paid $15 for this. I'm going to give this to my mom.

inspe13

I finally got my hands on the sample of Narciso Rodriguez EDP. I have Lovey from SJP and I like it very much.
What can I say: Lovely is better! Lavender makes it so much cleaner, it is for a sophisticated polished woman.
They are comparable only in the base.
Narciso has some dirty, rotten note, like a peach gone bad. And it takes time for this note to dissipate.
So, yeah, don't waste your money: Lovely is superior.

Nataliemarie

I can tolerate it some days. That's about all I can say about this one. I agree w/ the reviewer below. My Grandmother had something that smelled JUST like this. Even her bathroom smelled like it & I have great scent memory. I adore Lovely, (similar) the Musk in this is just weird & strong. I have read "Egyptian Musk". Whatever. Even if you spray very lightly & never put your nose to it, the Musk is way more Civet than Egyptian Musk as we know it from everywhere else.

karinatfragrantica

I like it, it is a classic but over time I feel more and more that it is outdated. I can't put my finger on it why exactly...Maybe it is too mono-dimensional, maybe because it has been so popular for so long?
A very universal scent - good for any season, day and night, any age, any occasion (but maybe that is part of the problem?)
If I am in the mood for a musc scent I definitely prefer NR Pure Musc which I find more contemporary.

joujo

It's more intimate than the black bottle - the edt, and the added rose and peach make it less 'boss lady', more innocent and reminiscent of laundry or baby products. The musk under the rosy accord is sensual though. For me it's an easy to wear, polished yet sensual scent.

abnoxae

This was the first musk smell I bought, and I didn't know if I'm gonna like it. It's okay in general, it's very soft and rosy, but you can definitely feel musk and patchouli as something "underlying" and it can be kind of unusual and "offensive" perhaps.
But still, I like it and don't mind wearing it (in winter), but not for too long because musk and patchouli start being too up front. :D

thestranger

I think I expected this perfume to be a lot softer and more modern. But from the first spray to the last whiff of base notes, all I could think was “this smells exactly like a rose perfume mom used to wear”. I’ll ask her to see if I can figure out which one. This scent feels classic and vintage to me. Even if I didn’t have this association with my mom, I think I’d find it too mature.

livprn

It starts as a pretty and fluffy musky rose, but then turns into a mix of suede and powder. The rose is still detectable at that point, but that suede-character is very… dominant in my nose, not to say pungent. I do see why people like this, and I find leathery notes very nauseating in general. If you don’t mind those and like rose, it might be a good signature scent for you. But don’t blind-buy if you have a hard time with suede like myself.

Ziggy11

Smells amazing. This has been my signature scent for years and years. I always get many compliments when I wear this.

It’s fresh, sexy, smooth, feminine and creamy all in one. Super wearable, perfect everyday scent in all seasons.

I think it’s quite safe however don’t mistake it for boring because it definitely isn’t. If you love musk then it’s perfect. It is still fresh but still sweet and comforting

Nolo Sath

My boyfriend thinks it smells like deodorant

RottigrlNYC

I blind bought the full size edp and the smaller 30ml edt. I don’t know why I bought them, I fell for the hype. I got them at Sephora online about 6 months ago. I own over 200 bottles of perfume and am getting rid of all the perfumes I don’t love. If you want to buy these two, I’ll give u a good price. Both are new only sprayed a couple of times. Very well taken care of. Send me a message if you are interested or else I will sell them both on eBay.

angx

This is a tricky one. Every time I smell it on another person, I love how it smells. I always ended up asking what perfume it is, before I learned its scent well. So I decided to try it on myself, and...yuck. I tried it on me multiple times, and hated it every time, for some reason it smells completely different on me than on others. I then decided to buy a bottle anyway because I kept smelling it on others and loving it...it smells fresh, powdery, flowery, and very unique. I can always say when one is wearing NR for her! This uniqueness got me. After I started wearing it I realised that my clothes smell exactly like what I smell on other people, but my skin still smells pretty bad, like herbal tangy medicine. It kind of grew on me because of its projection and sillage, rather than how it sits on my skin, and I wear it at work quite often. It is a good inoffensive work perfume (since people don't smell me that close to my skin - luckily). Don't know what it is about this perfume that won me over in the end...

sria

Sweet powdery comforting nurturing fuzzy heart-warming wholesome elegant approachable inviting irresistible femininity.

I love the EDT but this is oh so yummmm.. L'absolu I find to be composed of the best elements of EDP and EDT. LOVE all THREE.

Controlledbyscent31

This smells so weird to me after approx 3 to 5 minutes after I get a really sharp dirty smell I wonder what that is does anyone know it seems to be in a couple of the narciso rodriguez perfumes I'm wondering if it's patchouli? Smells almost herbally but not nice and really wasn't expecting it after seeing the pink bottle, I feel like to me it smells like a cat peed in the house and you then covered it with a cheap room spray. I wish I knew what that horrible herbally urine smell is In this.

s2jkbrad

This is a really pretty, feminine perfume. This is for a woman who is not scared of her sexuality but values being feminine. This reminds me of a ruffled summer dress in a black floral pattern. The juice is sweet and the top note is a beautiful rose. This does tend to a powdery or ambery scent, enhanced by the sweetness of a fruit which I’m seeing is peach. I like peach notes in perfumes. My chemistry works well with the peach in Burberry perfumes but not the dolce and gabbana - for anyone familiar with that note. I’m a young 41, but I imagine this could read as a more innocent scent on a younger person and maybe not as sexy , due to the rose note. This has an elevated juicy perfume vibe to me. It’s really nice.

sophiafinley

People keep saying it's clean and dirty at the same time and they're right, it smells like deodorant pit to me, kind of pheromone-y. That isn't such a bad thing in itself, but I don't like that it smells like straight up soap. It's such a strong soapy smell to me that it sticks in the back of my throat when I smell it! Dries down super musky, a little too animalic for me. It's powerful and I can't stop smelling it even though I don't really like it, haha.

Jossie116

Lovely scent! It’s also very long lasting . Roses come through nicely. It’s non offensive fresh and clean type of scent.

gurkin14

I’m seeing a lot of mixed reviews on this perfume, which is surprising to me since I think this perfume smells LOVELY 💕

For Her EPD is my signature scent! It works for every occasion. Whether I’m working my day job, attending my college classes, or going out to dinner with my SO, this scent is always a safe and beautiful option. It’s a musky rose that smells mingles with my chemistry perfectly. I personally wouldn’t call this animalistic at all. It just smells like a beautiful woman. Perfect for any season or weather.

However, all praises aside, I wish it had better longevity. It lasts maybe three hours tops before I can barely smell it anymore. It just leaves a “your skin but better” scent (which I don’t mind since I’m usually dressed down for class). I usually keep it in my bag to reapply when necessary.

Overall, it’s absolutely beautiful 💕. I would give it an 8/10 solely for its longevity, or lack thereof.

baroquelover

I've had this perfume for the longest time but I just cannot come to terms with it. To me, it smells both clean and dirty at the same time. At first, it is very synthetic when sprayed onto the skin, but becomes a very musky rose when it dries down. Unfortunately, for some reason it lasts 15 minutes on my skin, but this just might be me. Overall, a 3/10.

CadaverQT

This is not a safe blind buy. I wish I liked it because the bottle is gorgeous and a hot guy on YT (who generally has good taste) liked it. Honestly though, the patchouli and musk clash loudly with a hint of rose in the background, watching. My boyfriend turned his head from me when I tried to get him to smell it. He calls it a grandma perfume, but it's more animalic than anything. Not a crowd-pleaser, that's for sure. But I imagine a confident, sensual woman could wear this. Might be sexy on the right man too.

LMC27

Thankfully, I had a free sample of this and didn’t purchase because this is not for me, at all. I like musky scents but this just smelt off on my skin, but fortunately the longevity on my skin was very poor and so I didn’t have to live with it for long.

MoonSparrow

I have long resisted trying this fragrance because it seems so hugely popular, and I didn't want to smell like everyone else.

I needn't have worried. It starts of with a very sharp, screechy rose and I should have known better since rose has never been a friend to me (with the exception of the beautiful Profumum Roma 3 Fleurs, discontinued). I cannot bear it. I left it on my skin for a good 10 minutes til I couldn't take it anymore and scrubbed it.

I got no amber, no sandalwood, no peach, but I did get just a smidgen of patchouli, another note that I have trouble with sometimes, but not in the way of the rose.

I envy those for whom this is beautiful. I wanted to like it, I really did, but it just screeches too much for me. My loss. Thank goodness I only bought a 5ml sample!

Vans

The first time I put my nose on it, it was smelling something like those synthetic scent in holi colours.
Buttttttt after 5 minutes it settles down into a beautiful rosy musk fragrance
I absolutely love it

Eau de Hanneli

A dirty musky rose, the patchouli lends to it smelling like a rose pulled straight from the earth. Peach livens it up, amber provides some warmth, and sandalwood balances the composition. I enjoy For Her, and I appreciate that it is not universally appealing. I recall it standing out amongst the other popular offerings when I first met her in the department store years ago.

clairesque

This was such a miss for me. The notes seemed somewhat to my taste and the amount of rave reviews convinced me I needed a sample. This perfume comes off SUPER sharp, like straight rubbing alcohol at the top, with a very faint background of white florals. At first I thought I must have gotten a bad sample of this because I can't believe how bad it smells, but it's just the version of synthetic white musk used in this coming off really sharp for me. It was a terrible first impression but it only got worse.

Even after the initial sharpness fades, in the dry down I still get whiffs of alcohol. The combination of peach, rose, and musk sounds great on paper but For Her is like the most dated possible iteration of all those notes. User lemonadeblues left a review describing the image this scent evokes for them and I can absolutely see that in it as well... I'm from a different cultural background but this perfume smells EXACTLY like my rich, stuffy, passive-aggressive Catholic granny in the dry down. This is the first fragrance I have ever scrubbed off, and I don't even have the heart to store my sample for a while to let it oxidize before trying it again. I think most of my dislike of the fragrance are because I have negative memories attached to it, but I have never been so put off by a perfume.

yana.levus

I’ll start off by saying I am a huuuuuuge fan of the For Her EDT. Out of curiosity I decided to try out the EDP version as well. There’s so much debate going on comparing these two, and I couldn’t resist adding my few words in the conversation.

The perfume is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! Indeed feels slightly smoother and rounder than the EDT. Probably rose and peach notes help with this. At the same time it is neither fresh nor light because the signature For Her character is still present, just a bit tamed now. I consider this one as universal as the fragrance in the stunning black bottle. Office, date, girls night out, classes at uni, walk at the park - whatever life brings, For Her ‘siblings’ got you covered!

Do you need both, the EDT and EDP? Well, it depends.

If you are a die-hard fun of Narciso Rodriguez and/or musk, sure get it! One is good, two is better ;)

Nonetheless, if you are not crazy about either of those factors (or don’t collect perfumes), you’ll probably be good with just one. They share a lot in common, so you have to trust your nose and pick the one that suits you best.

Oh yeah, me? Of course, soon placing an order on the full-size bottle.

But the bottle is just so prettyyy!! ugh i'm so sad i absolutely hate this fragrance...like seriously i'm heartbroken. After seeing so many people rave about this fragrance saying it's their signature scent and they get so many compliments on it i decided to get a travel size sample from a perfume website instead of a free sample since i was expecting to be so head over heels for this perfume. I had read about the notes before but nonetheless still was expecting something delicate, floral, a tad sweet but not juvenile, something a sophisticated beautiful lovely woman would wear. I sprayed some on my arm, all excited getting ready to proclaim this as my signature scent like everyone else... *sniffs* SHEEEESHHH it was like a big whiff of literal sour dough bread and animal fur that's been doused in rancid floral perfume punched me in the nose. To me, this smells how sour dough bread tastes lol. So i thought, maybeee a bad batch right? i got another sample directly from macy's and my thoughts and opinions were the SAME no difference in either of the samples, I was still holding out that maybe it was just my own body chemistry or nose so i asked my mom, dad, and sister to smell the perfume on a tester strip instead of on my skin, And no! everyone of them made a disgusted face and said it was the worst and strongest perfume they have ever smelled (Now, mind you i'm a teenage newbie to the fragrance world, like, never owned a perfume not even a victoria secrets or bed, bath, and body works mist so my nose is still finding it's likes and dislikes when it comes to fragrance. I think musk is my least favorite note thus far so take my opinion lightly i'm sure this smells beautiful on others!). To this day i still go back to smelling the sample hoping that maybe my mind changed or i'd experience it the same way others have and unfortunately i just don't like it nor does it do well on me.

Now i hesitated writing this as i feel like 1 in a million who's not a fan BUT i hope this goes as a warning to ALWAYS TEST BEFORE YOU BUY no matter how hyped up it is! so glad i saved my money

I wanted to try this popular scent to see what everyone’s been raving about. The note profile seemed promising, everyone has been going crazy over how unique and fresh this is, aaaand…nope! I realized I’ve been smelling this EVERYWHERE and I didn’t know it was this particular frag. To be honest, I didn’t like it on my skin. It’s bright and fresh yes, long lasting also but it’s also punchy woody. This surprisingly felt quite unisex. On my skin I can ONLY smell those unisex woody notes with something deodorant-like on the background. Not impressed. *yawn*

OH.MY.GOD.
This is the first time a fragrance has actually made my eyes roll back in my head on first sniff.
I have owned a bottle of SJP’s Lovely since it’s launch, it’s actually my signature. It was love at first sniff too. But not like this. This is so much like Lovely it’s shocking, but somehow it’s so much better. I cannot believe I waited so long to smell this.

I feel a little sad because I feel like I’m cheating on my Lovely, but I can’t help it. It definitely smells more expensive, more classy, more luxurious. Lovely is all those things, but this is just more. But it’s also something Lovely is not. It’s more ripe, dewy and sensual. Lovely is a little drier and woodier for sure. For Her is often also compared to Guerlain Idylle which I also own and love and the similarities to that is really this dewy ripeness. Lovely shares the musk note, Idylle shares the fruity floral note.

I just tried this today for the first time. But did not buy.
Oh but I’m buying you better believe it!

Anyone else here from the Philippines? Because this is exactly how old-rich classist passive-aggressive Catholic Filipino mestiza aunties with overmoisturized skin who go to mass on Sundays with their foldable fans & rosaries smell like. And if you fall under that demographic and you also happen to live here, then go for it! Just to make myself clear — it’s not a bad fragrance at all; it just has a really specific negative cultural association thing working against it, at least for where I live. If only my actual faves had the audacious sillage and eternal staying power of this one……

Rose, musk and patchouli is what I get from this perfume. It reminds me a lot of "Lovely" by SJP. As a previous reviewer has stated, it ended up smelling dirty and earthy on me, and it turned sour. I couldn't detect any of the peach or amber notes at all. The longevity was impressive though, as I can still smell it on my wrist 9 hours later despite making a few attempts to scrub it off.

I’ve been using this for 7 years (i used to have the EDT ones as well). This is my signature scent and I wear this for special occasion, date night, important meetings (but i think i almost use this everyday 🙄). Regardless, sillage is pretty strong and it is very long lasting. I can still smell in on my skin after 10+ hours and I can still smell it days after spraying it on a shirt. I prefer wearing this during the day and it enhances when you sweat.

Update 10/02/22: I wear this everyday. I have other perfumes for special ocassion

A really classy clean rose musk. I actually had Lovely a while ago and liked it, and do find them to be similar. When I sniffed this for the first time, I thought of Lovely immediately. This is a lot softer around the edges imo, but both have that patchouli muskiness and both are great! Perfect for layering other scents on top as this is a nice musky base scent. A bottle with about 1/4 of it left was thrown in with a bundle I purchased, and am thankful for it and enjoy it, but likely won't repurchase when I'm finished. P.S.) A flashlight or phone flashlight held behind it while looking at the bottle will help you see the amount left lol.

One of my favorite perfumes over the years. I have not have it for a while and I would buy it again if it were not for the fact that it sometimes gave me a headache. It is incredibly beautiful, and if you put it on in the morning, there is still a touch of perfume left the following morning. My biggest problem with it was that it was way too strong.

MariaGabrielaKristina

It is so similar to Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. I love the both parfumes.

I ordered a sample and I am not sure what I got, because I just smell a looots of lilly of the valley, which is not even in the notes. Quickly turns powdery, quite musky. I'd say it is very decent feminine and elegant fragrance, I agree with @bubblegumrose that I see it more suitable for women over 40, I'd say maybe even older. Definitely a "lady"kind of perfume.
