Cedrat Enivrant Atelier Cologne - Very fresh, bright and real smelling. An amazing mix of bergamot, lemon and lime when first sprayed, very real smelling. Theres that classic soapy note undertone. Would be amazing for daytime in hotter months. More so on the masculine side. I think the woodsy undertone makes it more masculine, but there isn't a distributive woodsy note.  I probably wouldn't wear it as a perfume BC it's a bit too fresh and masculine for me, but omg this would be great for body wash, candles, cleaning products etc. It fits very well into the companies product line. I don't think I would buy it, but I might keep a bottle of gifted and use it as room spray. Arms length+Dries down to a typical soapy note. The super fresh bright citrus lasts about 1 hour. Would be good for most ages. It doesn't last very long (less than 6-8 hours) so its way overpriced

Fuming_hot

Unadulterated lemonade in a bottle! A very natural citrus smell that is also a bit too linear. But hey, you're there for the first sniff and that is gorgeous! Poor performance with middling sillage. One for the hot days and one for only yourself.

‘Cedrat Enivrant’ was love from the first sniff for me. I am a fan of light, refreshing, uplifting, citrusy scents and this one was a no-brainer for me. As the name ‘enivrant’ suggests, it is definitely an intoxicating citrus-based scent, with a quite decent lasting power. Clean, slightly herbal, versatile, and office-friendly unisex scent. Great one for hot summer days and nights!

Opening is citrus and basil heavy. I can’t recognize the type of citrus, so it must be that citron note, which I’ve not spelled before. It’s tangy, sour, and sweet. The mint is light but shows up a little. I would say that it’s a general green citrus vibe at this stage.

The basil can be a touch too strong if you smell it up close, but the sillage is a nice, fresh, and clean aroma.

Dry down is an interesting citrusy green vibe. Kind of sweet and hard to describe. It’s pretty good. I can't tell if I like it or not. Might need to try this more to really form an opinion on it.

Whateverwhocares

Synthetic citric vibes but not to the point where it’s a cleaning product. Best part is the fizzy opening. I wish the berries would shine a little bit more. A little bit foul toward dry-down. Nothing to write home about.

Cedrat enivrant is a stellar tart green citrus but predominantly fresh herbal composition, meaning most people will probably skip or brush this one off. If you have any appreciation of fresh green tart fragrances alla Hermes Concentre d'Orange Vert definitely check this one out.
So it is essentially a mix of green mint overtones mixed with a limey top note (I am no citron expert, but I remember citron being warmer than what I get here). The heart is a peppery green elemi resin with very nice vetiver undertones, think along the lines of Guerlain Homme Eau Boise.

Overall stellar, if it were for it being discontinued this would have been my Summer go to fragrance. If anyone, for what ever reason is tired of their bottle I would happily get my hands on it (EU). Excellent!

Adorrabelle

It starts like with a sweet Mojito scent I wish lasted longer. But it is still wonderful, light, and green. The citrus stays for some time, but again - not as long as I hoped for, it moves to the background along with those wild mint notes. They are still these, but they give way to the juniper and bergamot. It's a bit sour, bit bitter, and refreshing all the way. Settles as a citrony vetiver. I can't wait to wear it in the summer!

olivesorchestra

A very refreshing, light fragrance. The French 75 inspiration is apparent, although it doesn't have the sugary sweetness of the cocktail, which makes it more versatile. The citrus opening is fresh and invigorating and I enjoy the herbal, soapy drydown. I haven't tested it in the heat, but it seems like it would be a great summer scent. It leans slightly masculine because of some of the classic male fragrance notes, but it's still unisex.

kndy38

I was searching a Frapin L'humaniste alternative which would last longer and be more intense.
I read this recommendation in different comments and to be fair, it has very small similarities.

I really appreciate this one but it seems to be pretty weak as most of the Atelier Cologne stuff and too serious/mature for my tastes.

But I much prefer L'humaniste. Still looking for a similar one...

Great layering fragrance. Works great with vanilla scents but my favorite combination Is this fragrance layered with Jo Malone’s Cypress and Grapevine…perfection!

I bought this sample on a whim since I loved how balanced and delicate Bois Blonds was. It sat in the bottom of my drawer for way too long, on account of my nose not liking it in the tube. What a shame! If Bois Blonds was a great spring scent, then Cedrat Enivrant is a smooth summer breeze. I'm sad to be finding this so close to the end of August, as it would have been one of my go-to summer scents. I have fallen for Atelier Cologne hard - every scent is beautifully crafted and super wearable. They are neither too harsh for work wear nor for play, making them great for day-long use or reapplication.

Cedrat Enivrant is a sharp and smart citrus scent that has good longevity but doesn't scream at those around you when you walk by. I love every step of the way this scent unfolds - it's gently sweet upon application, and slowly loudens up to its sparkly bergamot - hanging on for 6 + hours. Finally, the mellow down into the tonka gets so comfortable and clean smelling. I had to keep catching a whiff of this while it was on my skin.

I'm definitely not averse to adventure—I'll excitedly spritz any avant-garde scents—but this is a very confident, easy, and safe scent to balance out the weird stuff in my collection. If only we knew when AC will be coming back to the US!

Experience: Watery Tom Collins

Citrus completely dominates and crushes everything else for the first few minutes. Then the herbal notes start to sneak in. The juniper shows up, too, giving the whole thing a very “cocktail” feel, which makes sense for a fragrance called “intoxicating citron”. It’s clearly citrus dominated, though. The other notes are very subdued comparatively.

The effect is very bright but I also find the citrus unpleasantly light-bodied. Real citrus oil has some light ethereal notes as well as some richer notes. This is missing the richer notes and comes off watered down or artificial. In that way, it reminds me of Creed Virgin Island Water, which I also do not like. This is bright and sparkly but not appealing.

I can definitely get how some would compare this to a cleaner scent. I don’t quite get the cleaner vibe but I can understand how others might.

So strange! I fell in love with this at first sniff. It smelled just like "Irish Spring" soap. I thought that would be great for a skin scent when I'm working extremely close to others. I wore it on two days, weeks apart. Still in love. Then I wore it today and the "Irish Spring" scent fades really quickly in the heat. What's left is just a men's cologne scent that is slightly better than average. But it belongs in the barber shop. Just so strange and disappointing too. I thought I could wear it in cooler temperatures but... no.

BGBG

Dior Eau Sauvage Cologne type of a smell!

In North of India during the months of May and June, temperature hovers around 35- 40 Celsius. Those summers are extremely dry and not humid at all. Most of the citrus fragrances won't work then but this one does its job pretty well. 5-6 sprays last for at least 6-7 hours on me. First 2 hours it projects well and then sits close to skin. It is on the bitter side with a woody touch towards the end. It does not smell like a floor cleaner at all to me. I am happy with my purchase, will buy again . It also comes in 30 ml travel pouch which you can carry along with you in case you wish to re-apply.
If money is not a constraint , you can always Nio otherwise I strongly recommend it.

chrisk252

Citrus dominant with hints of woody cedar, but not especially woody. Very pleasant and differen than the usual citrus freshies. Like but not a love...could be a love in certain situations. Like strolling through a woody forest by the beach. Clean, refreshing, juicy, but also dry. Will have to revisit.

Zaca

I used to go to work in 35c+ degree heat with humidity regularly more than 80%. This was the only fragrance that could handle it. Cedrat Enivrant sings in the heat. It has excellent longevity and continues to smell invigorating several hours after it’s applied.

Cedrat Enivrant opens with mouth-puckeringly sour citron. Lime adds a bitter element. There isn’t much sweetness here and the bergamot and herbal notes always play bit parts to the sour-bitter citrus accord. The other main note, at least to my nose, is cypress.

Eventually - and I mean after 6+ hours - the citrus notes fall away and and leaves a woody, elemi-lemony base. Try this fragrance if you love sour and/or bitter notes, gin or if you don’t mind your citrus fragrance lacking floral, vanilla or amber touches that otherwise soften it.

SniffingAddict

Very consistent with the top and middle notes: Citron, Lime and Bergamot; middle notes are Mint, Juniper Berries and Basil;
Not getting much of the base notes are Vetiver, elemi and Tonka Bean. Maybe just a little bit of Vetiver. Manages to be citrusy fresh and a little warm. Both fresh and cozy scent.

Fragaddict123

This was hailed as one of the best fresh fragrances from the brand
And I have to agree
The citruses here are overwhelming
So fresh and very easy to wear
The freshness is so real it makes it a treat to wear
Longevity is average , projection after the first hour is weak
If power in a fragrance is not an issue for you and you like fresh scents give it a go

NDStars

First blast of juicy wet bright citrus, cool and minty. But after a minute a dank yucky herbaceous note presents, like the damp cold soil under rotting leaves. It's like you're flying over a Pacific Northwest rain forest with a lemon/lime-ade in your hands and then you crash through the branches and end up with a noseful of old wet dirt. Needless to say, I would have liked this a lot better if the opening stayed linear throughout. Unisex and probably best for a hot day.

6+ hours later: after about half an hour that dank note has disappeared leaving behind a fresh citrus that lasts a very long time. I guess it's worth waiting around for this dry down.
24+ hours later: still there! Going moderately strong.

sunsetterxx

The citrus/lime/bergamot in here is too dominant and harsh, hovering close to cleaning chemical. wish there were more mint and juniper, and less citrus, it would be perfect.

A few years ago, when Atelier Cologne first launched at Sephora in the US, I ordered (from their site) a whole bunch of samples for my husband to try. Out of all of them, he picked Cedrat Enivrant, and I think that was a very good choice. It is fresh and inoffensive, long lasting, with a good amount of throw that doesn't overwhelm like some men's cologne. He is not a "beast mode" kind of guy. There's a suaveness to the base especially that doesn't go sweet or feminine IMHO, and the top citruses stay fresh and inviting for a very long time. I would say that this is a good everyday kind of scent, and one of the best of the AC line, of which I have smelled many and loved few. Figuer Ardent is his actual favorite from the house, and the one that he'll wear with the least prodding from me, but he does enjoy Cedrat Enivrant as well. The bottle is lovely, even if it is boring, and it feels very "rich person minimalist" luxurious. The juice is expensive, but I do think that it's a good investment since this isn't your basic men's cologne.

SkunkApe

I was eager to try this, since so many people described it as having a fresh and natural citrus smell (and I do love a French 75).

Unfortunately, on me it smells like an institutional floor cleaner. It makes me think of hospitals and gyms after the janitorial staff has mopped the floors.

mutatismutandis

This is rather unusual - a citrus that lasts and lasts and lasts. I get about 11 hours out of this one. The projection is noticeable for the first hour before it settles down.

The opening is a strong blast of citron, lime and bergamot with a hint of vetiver and mint.

An hour later the citrus has toned down and the basil, juniper and elemi come through. The mint seems to smell burnt at this stage.

The subtleties between the notes gradually fade from this point onwards and you're left with an accord rather than a selection of notes as time passes.

One for day wear and spring, summer and autumn but not for winter. I've nothing against this but it just doesn't grab me so I shall stick to Guerlain's Eau De Fleurs Du Cedrat instead, which is brighter and better.

I will try another Atelier after this though.

Due to the absolutely tormenting heat outside, I had to give myself a healthy generous spritz of this delicious cologne. It has been sitting in my drawer for quite some time. I decided to try a longevity experiment, as atelier cologne has been praised to be longer lasting than most citrus based scents. I decided NOT to moisturize to really test the longevity.

Initially, I get a delicious blast of lemon and lime, like I drenched myself with a lime soda or gin tonic. It’s bright, sparkling, light, herbaceous and refreshing. It radiates for an hour and then it slowly dies down to a skin scent for the entire duration.

I’m typing this review at the 6 hour mark, and I’m quite surprised that I can smell light wafts of it from my shirt (sprayed on chest) and I can smell hints of it on my forearm as well. (surprising for a citrus dominant fragrance!)

The dry down is a faint musk, and a sweet light tonka bean, still with a dash of lime and a watery, crisp accord that mixes with my natural smell making it a delicious clean smelling skin scent. I will literally devour myself.

I feel like one cannot overspray, hence a great all around fragrance (work and play). It’s not a sillage monster, it seems well mannered, graceful, and naturally fresh.

If only I could drink it!

Frederick (Freddy) Harrington lifts the weighted crystal champagne flute to his lips to savour his favourite cocktail, the French 52; fresh lemon juice and sugar with a generous double measure of Plymouth gin, all topped up with Bollinger. He hesitates as inspiration strikes. He grabs a sprig of mint (for the mojito that one of his companions is drinking), crushes the leaves in his bronzed fist and inhales deeply as the broken plant drops into his glass. It is turning out to be the best ever birthday picnic and the day is still so very young. At twenty-one he has already lived a charmed life. A wealthy loving family, a good education and some fine friends are all things that he knows are privileges and blessings.
An invigorating breeze blows across the river lifting the pages of books and brims of hats and has several women gasping to save their rising dresses from revealing a little too much thigh. This brief moment of gentle mayhem causes an abrupt chorus of laughter all along the river bank before everything settles back into stillness and calm. The Oxford and Cambridge boat race is about to begin.
Freddy raises his face to the sun and his mouth gives birth to the deepest smile to ever grace his beautiful face. His eyes close too late to capture a solitary tear. It makes its escape, runs down his cheek and hangs from his chin where it catches the summer sun. Eternity and the entire universe is held within that glistening teardrop. Gratitude consumes him. This perfect moment, so bittersweet with the heartfelt wish that everyone in the world could know such happiness.

marcel2782

Opening: lemon, lemon, lemon, lemon lemon lemon ... and mint. A very lemon smack on the face, aided by mint, both very noticeable isolated. The cider simulates the astringency of lemon, but it is different - it looks like a lemon with a powdery or pure camphor aspect. This top evaporates as quickly as it is possible to drink a glass of lemonade, leaving a bitter and camphoric minty chord close to the skin for about 2 hours and then, the end.

On a recent trip to Perth I was looking for a cologne for my dearest husband. At the airport this caught my eye. It was the first and only cologne I tried.

Immediate love. Fresh, exciting, and so summer, and not my usual choice for him at all. (An adult sophisticated male version of 4711).

Fortunately he likes it, but also admitted it is outside of his usual choice.

Can't wait for summer and to smell this on him.

Thanks Perth trip 2019!!!!

One of the most refreshing scents I've ever smelled. I'm not very familiar with the citron fruit, but the scent is somewhere between a lemon and a bergamot in my opinion. So, tart and juicy and not very sweet. Like in all Atelier fragrances, the citrus notes smell natural and not like some household product. But what really makes this scent so fresh is the addition of mint. It feels almost cooling on the skin, which is neat in the summer.
The base is a bit too aromatic and herbal for my taste, as it is the case with many Ateliers. I noticed that it overpowers the fresh notes in cooler weather. Then Cédrat Enivrant unfortunately smells like the stale peppermint tea I drank on school trips in the 90s. This needs some heat to make it sparkle and shine, it really makes a huge difference.

ridgel

Wish I could love this more. Its too harsh for my liking, I get a short lived "pledge" smell. I appreciate Atelier for their citrus but this one isnt for me.
Edit- when I say pledge maybe more accurate would be if a natural organic company made a pledge cleaner, as this scent has a natural citrus juice smell

pois

Citron is a note I find very energizing and uplifting. Clean and go-get-it. This was a scent I particularly wanted to try.

And it is indeed sharp acid citron right at the start, quite nice. It dries down a bit deeper, and I can spot, from the notes (but would not get there on my own) the lime, mint and juniper right at the back. It fades quite fast unexpectedly.

There is a weird note about 30-60 minutes after application which I find dissonant. When people talk of "soapy" smell they usually mean it smells like perfumed soap, lily of the valley, or some floral like scent like fine milled soap. I used to think soap note meant that sharp alkaline note of unscented Marseille or other plain laundry or cleaning bar soap. There is a soap like note here but with that laundry-unscented soap meaning, something sharp and unfloral.

S G

Fresh, Bright, clean. that Authentic realistic Lemon/Citron scent is undeniable, to my noes it doesn't smell like a cleaning product. of course i can see where somebody would draw a connection.

The classic scent of Lemon Pledge creeping death in the back of all our heads as we reminisce the last time we fell down those slippery wooden staircases, catching wiffs of lemon along the way.

but i think that plagues ALL lemon scents.
everyone seems to be...

Just wanted to add in just how beautiful this fragrance is.
the rich realistic citrus's
the Mint and herbals

it blends together so well. It was Fairly warm the other day so i Broke this bad boy out. over applied a bit to get it radiating. and wow did i get some solid great compliments.

shiva-woman

At first I didn't like this, and thought "Just another summer freshy," and it certainly is, but then the mint kicked in after the citron, extending the citrus and transforming it from a linear scent. It is quite bracing, almost severe initially. I'm impressed by the true Citron note that goes on and on and on. This skews masculine due to the vetiver (which I associate with stereotypical masculine scents), but I might pick up a bottle for myself this summer. I find the silage and longevity moderate, actually the latter moderate-long.

zhiang0113

Freshly squeezed lime with green mint leaves - a mojito cocktail in a bottle! Quietens down pretty quickly into a nondescript, sweet tonka-white musk blend.

Pretty short-lived and has weak sillage, but it's great while it lasts!

Edit: I tried this on a second time, and the realistic bitter citron note is persisting for quite a while, it's still there after 2 hours!

ken.z008

Im a little bit disappointed with my current 200ml bottle of CE. It lacks the depth of the 100ml I bought in 2015, which has a sweet intoxicating body and lasts longer. I feel like the newer one I bought has no base notes/ missing tonka bean sweetness. Does anyone experience batch variations? Was there a reformulation of this? The top notes are the same tho. Maybe my newer purchase has to age/macerate?

empathyboy

I love this scent, but then I am a big citrus fan. I have only very recently within the last month come around to trying anything from this house, Cedrat Envirant was my first and I loved it instantly. So much so that within the space of two weeks I purchased three other fragrances from Atelier Cologne (Mistral Patchouli, Trefle Pur and Rose Anonyme). I think Cedrat Envirant is my favourite so far; possibly because it is my first discovery from Atelier but also because it really does remind me of my most loved cocktail, the French 75. I am looking forward to lazy summer afternoons and warm evenings by the sea with friends whilst wearing Cedrat Envirant; I have had very positive comments from people on the one occasion that I wore it two weeks ago. Perhaps it's because they thought I'd just cleaned the bathroom (some people have commented that the citrus has associations for them with cleaning products) but I'd like to think it's because I smelt sociable and sophisticated.

The aesthetic of Atelier Cologne very much pleases me, with the minimalist bottle and block-coloured labels and I am at a loss as to why I have left it so long to fall in love. Maybe it is because I intuited that my wallet would get a lot of action... I already have Oolang Infini on order.

duckduck1995

First off I believe this perfume is a well done citrus based scent which is perfect for the warmer days. I especially love the yuzu and bergamot notes which helps balances lime and mint. Furthermore as the fragrance dries down, I get the juniper berries which gives it a citrusy woody sensation. Although, I love the scent, the perfume is not without its flaws.

This perfume is the epitome of bittersweet, as in for my experiences with it not the fragrance itself. The scent is actually very well done and doesn't have the synthetic vibe which most citrus based fragrances have. However, the main issue I have with the perfume is the performance on my skin. It struggles to last one hour on my skin and its basically a skin scent throughout the duration its on my skin.

Thus, I wouldn't recommend this fragrance unless if you absolutely love the scent or are prepared to regularly apply it throughout the day.

Moonchild1985

Most realistic citrus so I’ve own so far.
Smells like freshly squeezed lime. A bit too realistic to some but I LOVE that scent for that reason : the fresh effect truly shines under very hot temperatures, though it turns a bit vanillic (read sweet) in the background... it adds some caracter to the scent.
Even the performance is more than decent for a citrus : sure, don’t expect nuclear projection, but it lingers on the skin for a good 5-6 Hours which is a plus for a citrus scent, though is literally a skin scent most of that duration.

It's true that citrus colognes just aren't my favorite—but I've been trying to appreciate them, to find things to love. But I just can't with this one.

There's an aggressive soapiness to the background of this that is just too close to any forgettable men's fragrance. Sure, there's a punch of lime and citron, but I don't find that to be particularly novel, and that is where this perfume begins and ends for me. I've applied a few times, hoping I'd experience some change where I get to an herbaceous middle with mint and basil (two of my faves in fresh colognes!), but it never comes.

Perfumes that are reviewed on this site as being “inoffensive” are often the ones I find the MOST offensive. I'm offended by the boredom of this. For clean citrus lovers—sure, go for it. But I'd be surprised if you didn't already have something very similar.... (5/10)

gedlive

This is actually a unique catagory; it's predominantly ALL citrus genre. There are many floral or Neroli freshies, green freshies...
This does have supporting green notes, juniper and mint, that makes it very enjoyable and interesting, and a bit of sweet elimi resin gives it some depth.

But this is all about the super tart, and refreshing yuzu and lime citrus.
Of all the Atelier citus frags, this is the most robust and intense citrus.

Tazahr

Very authentic and natural citrus scent. So pleasant, safe and modern take on this genre.

Refreshing Sour lemon/citron opening with smooth and elegant green/armoatic background. Smells clean fresh and super high quality.

Longevity is better than the usual Atelier Colognes freshies.

It reminds me of Mancera Lemon line but it is far more pleasant and better consructed and also with better ingredients quality by miles.

jeffwithfrags

A yuzu bombe.

Too harsh; the is citrus for those who really mean it when they say it as a rebuke online xD

Greeny and woody; all the usual you expect from a bitter-citrus type.

Lime and clary-sage(?) just reinforce how this is totally as far from sweet as you can tangibly go. Big, wide pass please

My rating: 4/10 (not to discredit but 3 points for sheer authenticity)

psebi101

This one has a very beautiful opening, mouth-watering citruses that are rather bitter than sweet. The aromatic part made out of herbs does lift it making it even more pleasant. The bitter and effervescent side of the fragrance reminds me of a gin and tonic, without being boozy. This a citrus well done, it's in my top favorite offerings from Atelier.

Atelier Colognes produce the best citrus fragrances in the business, and this one is no exception. It starts off with possibly the most photorealistic lime in a fragrance I've ever smelled. I detect really strong and realistic cedrat and lime, blended perfectly so they are 50/50 in concentration. It smells as if I doused myself in real cedrat and lime juice - in fact I can even smell the rinds. This does not smell like house cleaner or lime/lemon candy or 7Up at all. I was looking for a long-lasting and realistic lime cologne, and this is it. The cedrat and lime notes last surprisingly long for 3-4 hours with the lime dissipating before the cedrat does. There is mint as well in the opening. After 4 hours, I smell the mint, basil and juniper berries - though a trace of citron is still there, persisting. The entire fragrance was based on an alcoholic drink called French 75 made of gin (hence the juniper berries note) and tonic water with cedrat and lime, champagne, and sugar (although this fragrance isn't that sweet at all). Basenotes smell of 'cool green tree sap' in my mind. Sillage is moderate but leaning on the strong side as I get wafts of it repeatedly (even after the 4 hour mark), while longevity is fantastic for a citrus cologne, running at more than 10 hours for me. The fragrance leans masculine but I could see it being unisex. Overall an amazing fragrance, especially due to its natural lime and cedrat notes but also its very good longevity. The bottle though not the most experimental of designs is made from hand-blown French glass and features a leather cap. You can test out all the Atelier Colognes - including their ones for grapefruit, orange, bergamot and so on (all done in a hyperrealistic way) at Sephora or Nordstrom.

Really like this perfume. I smell citrus notes very intensive, as well as mint and vetiver. Its totally unisex, fits amazing women as well as men.

Cedrat Enivtant has basically the same bone structure to Eau de Rochas Homme.

Well, a noticable yet minor difference can be easily found, that is Atelier modernizes the base of EdRH by replacing the heavy gloomy oakmoss with a delicate bright minty and fruity note, besides the brasil accord gets amplified in Cedrat Enivrant a little, which makes it more of a younger variant of EdRH. It would not surprise me if there was a duo set to be provided, EdRH for father and Cedrat Enivrant for son.

After a while, it comes with a déjà vu about some generic green twist that commonly shared among Burberry Weekend Man, Acqua di Parma Mirto di Panarea, Diptyque L'Ombre Dans L'Eau and even Calvin Klein One. I am not saying anything bad on this drydown... However, @no-fi 's words unforgettably forgettable nailed it. It's (neo)classic and pleasant, but more likely to be redundent provided that EdRH is not discontinued yet. Furthermore if you please, I shall say, no more than 50 US dollars for 100ml would be its reasonable price really.

Mouthwatering citrus.
I was in love with this citrus fragrance, right up to the point when it dried down to a generic drugstore aftershave scent. 1-1.5 hours after I sprayed it on my hand I caught a smell of smth like Nivea for Men aftershave and wondered where could that come from. Surprise! It's Cedrat Enivrant on my wrist. :(

beckhen

I tried this perfume because of the juniper note. I like it on the strip. But I was shocked by how sour the lemon opened on me; it was harsh and unpleasant. I tend to have sweetening skin.

My experience improved after the opening faded away. Then I got green, lemony wood, for hours and hours. The drydown was slightly similar to Malle's Eau de Magnolia, which I was testing on my other arm, but more intense. It's incredibly tenacious, and I grew weary of it before it faded completely away the next day.

Whatever chemistry extends the life of these ephemeral notes makes Atelier Colognes uncomfortable for me to wear. I didn't like Clementine California either. However, I'm starting to realize citrus colognes simply aren't my cup of tea.

Cedrat Enivrant (French for “Intoxicating Citron”) is a citrus aromatic, very much in the vein of the most popular Atelier Cologne fragrances. It contains top notes of cedrat, lime, and bergamot, middle notes of mint, basil, and juniper, and base notes of tonka, vetiver, and elemi and was released by Atelier in 2013.

The teenaged boy-wonder reviewers who tell you that this “has a mojito vibe, bro” have never tasted, let alone smelled, a mojito. It is, however, pleasantly reminiscent of the cocktail it was meant to echo, the French 75 (made with champagne, lemon juice, and gin.) In fact if you add a few sprigs of mint, you basically have this in a glass. Cedrat Enivrant is another in the line classical European-style eau de colognes from the company. It opens with a well-defined, floral lime and citron that is just short of being sharp or bracing. There’s also an aldehydic, bubbly quality that echoes the champagne in the French 75 really well. After drying down for a few minutes, this cooling mint-and-basil combination comes to the fore which gives a wonderful green “lift.” It ends, as most classic citruses do, with a soft, woody base with a bit of clean white musk which lends a general soapiness to the overall fragrance as it dies on my skin. The presence of lime and mint will invite the inevitable, but completely belabored, comparison to a mojito - which it smells nothing like. There is certainly juniper, but it’s not the overwhelming pine sap small that you get with gin; it’s hidden and subtle. It does bear a striking resemblance to Guerlain Homme Intense in that the same cooling citrus effect is attempted with lime, mint and vetiver, except that Cedrat Enivrant is infinitely better, as it smells to be made with mostly natural ingredients.

Projection is modest, but longevity is impressive considering the kind of fragrance it is. The few times I’ve worn it, I can regularly smell it for 4-6 hours. Of the few Atelier fragrances that I’ve tried (and I’ve only tried this, Pomelo Paradis, and Orange Sanguine), this is by far the best-performing. One tiny gripe: Atelier advertises Cedrat Enivrant as a “pure perfume.” While this presentation is certainly not at an eau de cologne concentration (the Atelier site says it’s 15 percent), it’s somewhat misleading to call this a “pure perfume” – a concentration that is usually more like 25-40 percent. It doesn’t really make sense to make a parfum concentration of a citrus fragrance (lacking the usual depth that they do.) Calling this an eau de parfum hints at the longevity well enough.

Whereas most designer fragrances of this type smell synthetic and cheap, this smells like it’s natural and of high quality. The lime and citron are photorealistically bright, the mint is obviously not the synthetic mess of Guerlain Homme and Guerlain Homme Intense. Of course, it might contain synthetics, but that’s not the overall olfactory impression that it gives. Because of that and the above-average lasting power that it has for a citrus fragrance, I don’t think the retail asking price of $75 for a 30 ml, $130 for a 100 ml, or $195 for 200 ml are too exorbitant. I’m struggling to think of anything in this perfume genre that realistic as this for a similar price point per milliliter.

L'un des opus les plus réussis de la marque : frais, hesperidé avec cet accord cédrat/citron vert très tonique et tenace à la fois. À privilégier lors de chaudes journées d'été. Le prix nous empêche cependant de nous en asperger abondamment. Dommage !

Mellinail

This is a refreshing citrus scent, all citron, lime, and bergamot on my skin. It lasts a long time on me, and is a refreshing pick me up. It smells like citrus soda, and is very nice for summer.

cats8398

Way to masculine for me and I love unisex fragrances leaning a bit masculine. It was sharp and spicy almost bitter. I thought about getting the newer fragrance Bergamot Soleil until I read the reviews comparing it to this one.

no-fi

I initially wrote off Cedrat Enivrant as a generic masculine citrus scent along the lines of Eau de Rochas Homme. I even went as far as to describe it as "unforgettably forgettable".

Having tested it a few more times, I now humbly fall on my sword.

The citron and lime opening of Cedrat Enivrant is phenomenal. It is bracing, confronting even, but in a way that is eminently invigorating. The citrus notes are bolstered by tart, juicy juniper and a fresh herbal accord of mint and basil, which draws the scent back to its cologne-inspired roots.

Yes, there's a sharpness to Cedrat Enivrant that renders it overtly masculine, like Rochas Homme. But what makes the Rochas so unbearable to me is that it dries down to a predictable, dated, aftershavey oakmoss base. The Atelier, on the other hand, has a similarly bracing opening, but fades into a delightful herbal skin scent, with a hint of grassy vetiver.

Is it groundbreaking? By no means. But it is wonderfully executed - and sometimes, that's more than enough.

nyse4

Very fresh fragrance something I have dreamed to have for a long time. However the longevity is disappointing to say the least. It smells amazing for one hour then the citrus scent dissipates leaving a very soft sweet skin scent. This fragrance is very close to Roja's Oligarch creation.

Scent: 9/10
Longevity: 5/10
Sillage: 8/10
Cost ratio: 5/10

Overall: 6.75/10

The price should come down as Atelier Cologne is now a l'Oréal brand.

bugsyiii

Citrus rind from the peel, zesty, slightly sweet...this fragrance as it drys down has a very very soapy finish; this is where it remains for the duration of the fragrance. The beginning was nice, but as it dry's it became very linear and unmovable-soapy in the final analysis. An ok fragrance in my opinion; nothing to write home about-pass!

kanak

Cedrat actually refers to a citrus fruit called Citron rather than Cedar wood as is sometimes assumed. I have not smelled or eaten a Citron Fruit But for all practical purposes to my nose, Citron smells pretty much like Bergamot. Atelier Cologne does Citrus notes better than anybody for my money and Cedrat Envirant is another gem if you are a citrus lover.

First hit is all lemony Bergamot and actually smells like one. It has a very nice, green aroma, like the peel of any sweet lime or even our Indian Moosambi. This Green Bergamot note is joined by a herbal accord formed by the basil and juniper and the mint gives it all a bit of bracing freshness. This part of the fragrance lasts quite a while and wearing it on a warm day or most of the year in our Indian climate is pure joy. Just smells very clean and fresh. I dont really get any Tonka bean or elemi listed here. Instead just the bright, slightly sweetish white musk accord that I think Atelier uses in most of their Citrus frags as a fixative base to give them better longevity. Here, it's mixed with some mild vetiver. If you have smelled a few of their creations, you'll know what I mean. I like it so no issues for me.

Cedrat Envirant and Orange Sanguine have some overlap so unless you love Citrus frags like me, you might find having both redundant so if budget is limited, I would suggest to go with Orange Sanguine if you like an Orange note better or Cedrat Envirant if you prefer a Bergamot/Grapefruit type note . Otherwise just get both as I love both in my collection. I tend to go with mostly Orange Sanguine for casual wear and Cedrat Envirant for slightly more formal settings but either works.

Projection is good for the first few hours without being crazy. Definitely office friendly, it's the kind of clean smelling frag women seem to like. Unless somebody is allergic to lime juice or something, cant see this offending anybody ever. Quite the opposite in fact. Longevity is around the 6-7 hour mark like most of the Atelier Citrus frags on me although people seem to be able to sniff them on me long after I think the frags have gone so do not be quick to assume that longevity is average. All said and done, I love this thing and will always have it in my rotation. Suits our hot, Indian weather beautifully and seriously thinking of investing in the 200 ml bottle. 9/10

arijitfrens

i layer this one with Nio and its freaking awesome.. such a pleasant , long lasting scent.. I got many compliments too.. amazing stuff...

sf2explus

cedrat is a citrus fruit not cedar. there is no ceder in this scent whatsoever. it does not contain ceder guys nor can i smell it either. one of my fav from AC for a pure parfum it is what it says lasts all day subtle projection lingers

Sandy991

This is one of my most favorite fragrances from AC. I have had the 200ml bottle for over a year and it's nearly done. Unlike the Pomelo Paradis, which has ZERO longevity, on me, this fragrance lasts a very long time. I just makes me happy.

INJEN

It reminds me of a fragrance of back when I was in my teens ,The best time in my life , Friends, events and my child hood friend , I love it and bought a 200 ml , Cheers.

Invigorating!

An extremely zesty fragrance that is a joy to wear in hot weather and a real winner all round. One which is full of citrus burst in a very authentic and pleasing way. Phenomenal in it's freshness and light, effervescent quality.

I find this an extremely easy fragrance to wear. It's like a burst of lemon, lime or grapefruit juice which just lifts you up and works on any occasion. For a modern citrus I can't deny that this is very well done. A real achievement from Atelier Cologne. I would recommend it for citrus lovers and add to the list of fragrances suitable for hot summers. Really good stuff.

Center

An instant pick-me-up! The fizzy lime top notes remain consistent throughout, while the middle and base notes offer subtle support and add an alluring edge to this cheerful tonic scent.

landshark321

Atelier Cologne's Cedrat Enivrant is the first of the brand I've tested on skin and it's very pleasant, a fresh combination of citrus (lime, lemon, bergamot) and a soft, woody, musky dry down.

A more sophisticated "margarita" vibe than Tommy Bahama Set Sail St Barts, Cedrat Enivrant is dominated by lime on the citrus side, and, as the name suggests, soft cedar on the woody side. The product is an agreeable citrus fragrance that performs decently well, and is a more subtle, refined option than Set Sail St Barts, particularly in that it isn't too sweet.

It's always difficult to justify the cost of a cologne type of summer smell when the performance isn't great, considering the $120-for-100ml cost, but this is a nice, subtle, refined example of that smell. A clean, refreshing scent, though. One to try that could be great for both men and women.

I really like all of Atelier's stuff that I've tried (I have a tin container full of 8 different 0.14 oz bottles) in addition to 2 0.14 oz bottles of the Cedre Atlas (equaling 3 in total of it). Cedre Atlas, Bergamote Soleil, and THIS are all amazing to me. It was love at first sniff for all three, which I cannot say the same for the rest I've smelled, but still like them. This doesn't seem too masculine to me at all. It feels like it really could go either way, and if it works with your chemistry, why not? I hate using the word perfect, but I feel like this and Bergamote Soleil together on my skin smell *almost* perfect. I love bergamot, so that could be a reason since it is prominent in both. On a side note, I'm really interested in finding a scent that smells EXACTLY like Earl Grey Tea. I wouldn't mind some lavender and vanilla either ;). I am a huge fan of London Fogs and would just love to smell like one, haha.

In Cedrat Envirant, I get way more lime when I spray on me at first than the citron, but it's definitely up there. It makes me think of walking through a citrus grove (lemons, limes, heck, even grapefruit!) with a huge sunhat on and giant bug-eyed glasses...flowy white sundress. I can't wait to wear this in the heat of summer. It's bright and happy, earthy and citrusy, not really cool nor warm, and has a kind of deepness to it that can't always be detected in citrus scents. Maybe it comes from the vetiver, which I love in fragrances. I don't know, I just love it. I have to say that I really love Atelier in general. Something about their overall scent vibe and the simplicity of their presentation is something I'm very drawn to. I am a very outdoorsy person, so perhaps I'm drawn to the very naturalistic notes. I don't find any of their scents to be synthetic-smelling (well, the ones I've tried!).

Carroll1546

Whenever I sample Atelier's stuff, I always spray on some of their Orange Sanguine, and a bit of the vanilla (I love anything that smells like a creamsicle).

This smells EXACTLY like that combination. It also smells like a sophisticated version of Lavanila's Vanilla Grapefruit fragrance. It does smell a bit "masculine", but if you layer it with the right lotion, it'll smell just fine.

BeOrtega

great stuff right here this has everything one would want from a citrusy scent wish list

its fresh sweet smooth and bitter but as good as it smell on paper it just doesn't come across the same on my skin projection is minimal and longevity is average at best

if it wasn't for the fact that this reminds me a bit of Bond No 9 - Coney Island (which i love) i wouldn't like this at all as a scent but as a room spray i think this would be amazing as it brings back memories of being in south american

one cant knock Atelier for its quality but like most houses projection seems to be a issue with summer scent and mainly for that reason it wont be a buy for me

on to the next

alfa.lázcares

I wanted to love this one so bad because I love it on paper, however, wearing it was a different story.
It is fresh and citrucy I loved it at first snif, so I got a sample. It opens with the smell of lime, which I loved and was the reason why I had to try it. Unfortunately, the sweet lime stays there just for maybe half an hour and then, what I assume is the Bergamot kicks in, and the magic dissapears. I think it's got to do with skin chemistly or something cause, although I knew from the begining this was gonna give a masculine vibe, on me, it turns super masculine (which happens to me on perfumes that have a prominent bergamot). Now, it really wouldn't matter to me if people thought I was wearing a man's perfume, I don't care. The problem is that this one becomes so so sharp my nose can't handle it. I can feel it getting deep in to my nose, and although it is not nauseating or headache inducing, it is there in such a way that I couldn't handle it.
It was there quite strongly for about 4 hours, then it fades a bit, but is still there for maybe 7 hours. Sillage was good.
Such a shame, because to me this was such a realistic citrus I wanted to love.

BizzoH

Reminds me of a lovely soap I once had, so fresh and bright, has got the mmmmm factor by which standard i judge all scent!

cake n' cuddles

Wow! Usually I am too stuck in gourmie land to notice a fragrance such as this but I am really impressed! It's citrusy and bright while still having some depth with a masculine edge. I like that this fragrance is very crisp and manages to dodge that nauseating calone note that many unisex/masculine scents have that sticks in my throat. It reminds me a little bit of dior homme sport 2012 which I am also fond of but this is even better because it smells more natural.
It's very pleasant. I think it would make a great gift for a guy or a woman who doesn't care about smelling super feminine. I would like it for myself and I'm giving the rest of the sample for my boyfriend to try.

rp6969

I don't usually care for lemon scents, finding that most remind me of cleaning products (lookin' at you, Lemon Pledge). This is different. Smells like very lightly sweetened fresh lemon juice with a invigorating burst of mint and basil. Found this overlooked sample as I was rummaging at bedtime and applied it to one arm. Had another scent (warm/spicy) on the other arm. Surprisingly, I can still smell it after 8 hrs of restless sleep. The warm/spicy arm not so much.

I don't usually do citrus scents but I like this one, and the longevity and sillage (over nine hours, still with 2 inch projection) are impressive. I shall try this when the warm weather rolls back around. Reminds me I was also impressed by the sample of Pomelo Paradis, though I don't remember what the longevity was with that one.

And yes, I do know that a Cedrat is not a lemon. Still, this reminds me of a light, fresh Meyer Lemon.

ken.z008

What I like about this fragrance is the purity of the scent and the positive effects it brings on your mood; its clarifying, purifying, and eases tension. The tartness of citron and the herbal astringency of basil and mint give a clean, invigorating freshness reminiscent of South East oriental spa. The base of tonka, vetiver and lemony elemi insence are supporting backbone that rounds up and extends the scent to a metallic, sweet, rosy dry down. The scent to me lasts all day with a good 4 sprays. If I feel undecided on what to wear, this will never go wrong. It brings back the summer memories of turquoise seas, white sand, and mojito.

edge42

This is really nice, an immediate like for me and one of my favorites from Atelier. Citrus with some sophistication, and a decided masculinity. I get a distinct similarity with Chanel's Platinum Egoiste as well, Cedrat Envirant has a similar metalic vibe to it that I really enjoy.

Not sure if it's just me but I find Atelier to use some of the best ingredients in the business. Everything smells natural and they make great scents for learning to distinguish notes because you can usually pick many notes out of each fragrance.

Johnnyacl

If this fragrance could have a stronger projection and longevity, it would certainly be one of my favorite Summer ones. Very nice, clean, citrusy aromatic scent. Perfect of hot weather!

Fhaldara

This is one of my favorite citrus colognes. It has a very zesty opening, citron has a slightly more sour scent than lemon, at least to my nose. The addition of lime and bergamot gives an enormous burst of citrus. As it begins to settle, mint and basil add some refreshing greenness, I get just a bit of the juniper. The drydown is mainly vetiver on me. I love Atelier fragrances, but most of them have very little longevity. This one is an exception, I get a solid 7 hours from it, an added plus!

RUDOLFO512

Cedrat Enivrant is a burst of fresh summery lemon and lime. From the moment I put it on I knew I was going to love it. The dry down is a bit of citric, minty, juniper with some vetiver. I keep smelling my shirt from time to time. I can also detect it on my skin and that is unusual with me. Perfect for the spring and summer months. Like all the other Atelier Colognes I own, this one has great staying power, 7-8 hours on me.

10/10

RosieRachel

A very simple rendition of a citrus cologne. It's pleasant and inoffensive. A lip-puckering, slightly sour and refreshing citrus burst in the beginning, with lots of lime on my skin. The citrus here is very well done. Although with my chemistry, this quickly settles into a citrus-y soap, before a long dry-down of vetiver. I thought it smelt very masculine on me in the base and it reminded me of a man's cologne. Soft sillage, but good lasting power for a citrus scent, I got at least 6-7 hours out of this.

tattooedzombie

I like it however, it is a bit masculine for me. Very fresh and clean.

Reminds me a bit of drugstore soap...Irish Spring, or...Zest? I can't really place it.

pt333

Ahhhhhh, a fresh break from the summer heat...The citrus notes are at the forefront along with the vetiver it's the tonka bean that balances things out and helps the fragrance settle into a sunshine of warmth. Love it!

Elle N. Rae

The beginning of this fragrance smells straight like a fresh squeezed lemon mixed with cleaning products.

Fokura

Sorry but this smells like lemon pledge to me.

pauroj

this is a candied lemon cologne is nice and fresh , but the drydown is a bit too harsh best suited for guys , but definitely unisex .

wesleyhclark

The topnotes on this are wonderful, a very sharp citrus.

But... uh-oh. On my skin the lemon scent is virtually gone after about a half hour (no kidding - I timed it), replaced with a very faint and somewhat unpleasant soapy smell. No sillage unless sprayed on clothing.

I think Creed's Bois de Cedrat is still my all-time fastest evaporation king, but this one's a contender.

Lesser

I bought the sample pack direct from Atalier DC as I got a 50% discount of its original price. They sent me a nice little package with a handwritten card, really nice btw. The package contained 2 ml of every scent made by them. As I try them along the way, I will post reviews of them.

So what do I get out of this fragrance?
A powerful citrus bomb, waiting to blow you mind with it's freshness. The bergamot-lemon-lime combo is really powerful, not like Sprite but closer to Mountain Dew if that makes any sense. The rest of the ingredients only gives the citrus combo the last push over the edge. This is one of those fragrances where you get the very potent citrus, and the rest of the ingredients are so much pushed to the background that they almost don't matter.

There are so many scents like this on the market, and I really don't understand why someone would bring another one up. Stop it. The market is overcrowded. BTW this one reminds me of Eau de Rochas, and it has the same insane lemon lime combo. Fresh yeah, but in the end nothing new and a but to much.

Longevity and silage is good. The as mentioned is nothing new or overwhelming, rather it is quite boring. A good thing though is that it is easy to wear for both genders.

Overall rating: 3/10

siririschmoos

For what Atelier scents cost I can see why some folks might be put off by this particular product; it is a simple one, a little too simple for the price range of Atelier fragrances.

You could put yuzu in front of me and tell me it's citron and I'd believe you, I'm not familiar with these two. So I'm guessing that the main note I'm getting is citron, it surely does not seem to be mint, vetiver or juniper berries. I think I've smelled White Citrus at Bath & Body Works before. That too I can see as comparable to this scent......another reason to pass on this.

It's just too simple and it also, to me, just comes a littlle too close to passing as feminine.

StellaDiverFlynn

I'm not very familiar with citron, thus, what Atelier Cologne Cédrat Enivrant evokes to me is an invigorating concoction of lime and lemon. It's like how my hands smell after slicing into a lime and squeezing the juice: their juicy, zesty, even slgihtly salty pulp, their slightly bitter pith and their aromatic rind are all beautifully and realistically rendered.

I can't really distinguish other notes, and Cédrat Enivrant stays linear on me. However, it's nowhere being boring, as lime and lemon here feel so realistic that their own olfactory complexity is successfully recurred.

The sillage is soft and the longevity is around 6 hours. Cédrat Enivrant is arguably a very simple citrus fragrance, but such a realistic and natural olfactive representation of lime is not so easy to come by. I'd definitely recommend it as a very natural and versatile lime fragrance.

ptilda

My dislike for this scent is based on the price and the fact that it is absolutely one-dimensional. It's citrus and.... well, just citrus. I could wear lemon extract and get this without paying the crazy prices. I'll check out some of the others in this line to see how they compare.

Platinum

This is a really nice Clean and Crisp citrus scent. I came across this one at my local sephora and i was really impress by the quality of it. On my skin it projects really good especially being a citrus scent in which i usually have problems with sillage and longevity. But this one actually stayed on my skin for hours and i could still smell it after 8 hours of being on my skin. Overall is a Great summer scent mostly for casual use.

britta.jicks

I didn't like it on me, perfect for my 5 teenage boys.

Arlene-Beatrix

Very nice citrus scent, it smells like fresh, delicate lemon, it is not sharp at all! It seems like many niche citrus scents are exceptional. This one is light and charming, you can believe my word.

hadew1

Tart, true, effervescent lemon-lime--neither sweet nor sour, but bright and sparkling and very, very natural. It reminds me of Bath & Body Works' White Citrus in the same way that a fresh lime seltzer reminds me of Sprite--same idea, but with a much better/fresher/truer execution. Less sweet, less synthetic, more refreshing.

Decidedly unisex. The juniper, mint and vetiver gave it an outdoorsy finish not found in many of the sweeter citrus fragrances. I'd love smelling it on my husband as much as I loved smelling it on myself.

Lasted nearly eight hours, fading down into juniper woods with a faint tang of lime around hour five. Very impressive longevity for such a natural-smelling citrus!

Rorshach1004

The initial scent is of a tangy tangerine, very pleasant, and very fresh. After wearing the scent for a few hours I became wonderfully and happily aware that the scent has a nice, soft, sweet, lemony, spicy, flowery texture to it as well. It’s a scent I’d be happy to wear on a regular basis, as it smells so fresh and so fruity. It made me feel new and optimistic today as I left a delicious trail of gorgeousness wherever I walked.

Cédrat Enivrant is the second Atelier Cologne that I've tested properly, after Orange Sanguine, and they have a lot in common. They're both citrus-centric, they both smell very natural and even realistic without being in the least boring, they're both perfectly unisex, and they're both big hits with me.

This scent reminds me a bit of Eau d'Hadrien, at least the general concept is the same: sparkling citrus with a herbal feeling. But this is much stronger: for one thing it lasts a lot longer, and for another the aromatic part is stronger in this one as well, without going overboard and giving a medicinal air to the fragrance. I can smell the juniper but it's not too prominent on me; I don't get the gin & tonic vibe at all. The aromatic notes do come out more as time goes by, but the citrus remains firmly in the foreground; it's just perfectly balanced.
I agree with museumgal below me: this fragrance is uplifting, bracing and altogether perfect for waking up. In fact I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning, what with vacation time being really over and the mornings becoming darker again and all, but when I put this on my mood instantly lifted. And it's been up ever since, because now, a couple of hours later, I'm still regularly catching wafts of this intoxicating smell (it really is perfectly named!). That's impressive for any citrus cologne, especially since I only used 2 sprays (one in my neck, one on my wrists).

So I guess I found a new summer love, just in the nick of time. I'm glad we got this extra week of almost summery weather in the middle of september where I live, so I got the chance to use my sample in optimal conditions; I think I'm going to have to buy a bottle of this for next summer. I'm looking forward to it!

Museumgal

Fresh lime and citrus at first, and the juniper comes in, giving it a sort of gin/aromatic feel. A bit of a pine forest accord comes in with the juniper as well. It's very uplifting and good for waking up in the morning. Bracing without ever being harsh. A great juniper citrus scent for anyone, daytime wear, good for professional settings as the sillage is noticeable but not huge.

HanamiTsukimi

I'm just here to backup what Maison71 said.

On first application it smells like I've just squeezed fresh lime juice all over myself. And then when the mint and basil comes through... a pure cocktail.

Definitely more masculine than unisex, but I'm sure there are some women this might work for. It's too literal for my taste.

slate

My wife got a sample of this from Sephora. To me it smells like if you were to rub Lime and lemon peels on your skin. Definitely a unisex scent. I dont think it's manly enough for me but it's a pleasent smell for men or women

Maison71

If you want to smell like someone spilled a full gin and tonic on you—and to smell like that all day, all night, and well into the next morning—congratulations, you have found your signature fragrance.

zenbabylove

Crisp and clean--but much better for men!

princess_buttercup

At the risk of sounding insane, I will admit the thoughts that went through my head after applying this..."Is that...mint? No, maybe pickle juice? Minty pickle juice! and soap?"
Obviously, those are not the notes in this. And I can usually pick things out a little better than that. This was just a mess on my skin. Very, very bad for me.

joonzmoon

This cologne is LOVELY! I like it as much as I like Flowerbomb, which is a huge compliment.

To me, it smelled deliciously like grapefruit at first, but sweeter, which I guess was the citron. It was remarkably fresh and airy, and clean-smelling. After a little while, the citron/grapefruit gave way to a lavender-y, clean-sheets/cotton, summer-breeze kind of scent, followed by some underlying hints of basil and mint.

It lasted allllll day long, and I kept intermittently noticing it on myself every few hours. My colleagues told me they noticed it on me from a few feet away (and loved it!) so the sillage is pretty good and not overwhelming.

A favorite and I hope to buy it soon!

curlykitty8

A lovely and lively burst of citrus that lasts as long as it takes you to replace the cap on the bottle!
All the notes are typical of eau de colognes that are meant to provide a jolt of refreshment as well as to renew one's spirits but this was so predictable and fleeting that I barely noticed what I had put on.
I wouldn't invest in a bottle even at half the price tag!

LuxeLove

This is a delightful scent which starts with the a pop of citrus (lemon and lime are noticeable), mellows slightly such that you can detect some mint along with the citrus, then stays as such for a few hours before you must reapply. Unless you spray it heavily you won't have much sillage so it's appropriate for all sorts of situations.

It's wonderful for the summer in such a clean and zesty way. As with all of the Atelier Cologne scents it smells like actual extracts of the notes, not some fake muddled concoction. As a result, Atelier Cologne fragrances have never given me any fragrance-induced headaches or seemed cheap. They give the feel of a very high quality fragrance for a reasonable (if not inexpensive) price. J'adore!

rickyrebarco

This is my favorite of the Atelier line. It opens with a lemon and lime zesty pop that seems like it might have some aldehydes to make it sparkle on your skin. The scent does develop, bringing up the lovely herbal notes of mint and especially basil. The drydown brings in the spiky juniper berries that make this better than the average lemon/citrus cologne. It reminds me of an icy gin Collins with fresh lemon and mint on a hot day with basil from the garden wafting in the background. Just delightful!

Johnnyacl

Really love this scent! Perfect for Summer. Refreshing, with quality. I do think, however that is very similar to Biotherm Homme Aquafitness.

carlosrafael

Minty and zesty citrus with average lasting power...

CE is a straight forward fresh and zesty citrus complemented by a little mint and sweetness in the background. It's perfect for summer. The citrus notes smell natural, fresh, and clean. They are accompanied by a mint note that brightens CE. The juniper berries add a little sweetness and balance the citrus notes well

I don't detect any of the base notes at all. They are totally absent to my nose. There is no dry down. Once the top and middle notes evaporate, CE is gone, which happens within 3.to 4 hours.

CE it's not magical in any way. It's just a straightforward citrus and a very good one at that. It does its job well but don't look for anything different. It borders being a designer fragrance instead of a niche one, except that it's ingredients feel more natural and of higher quality than comparable designer fragrances.

On the down side are its silage and longevity. CE doesn't last long, but being mostly a citrus fragrance, what is there to expect? About 3 to 4 hours. For its price, I think it's bottle worthy if you are looking for a fresh citrus to wear under hot temperatures. It's great also to wear at the house after a shower at night.

As a citrus fragrance, 8/10
As am overall fragrance, 6/10

A very fresh and citrus opening. Lemon, grapefruit and a slightly herbal undertone. I love it, it feels clean all the way but it also translates into a " safe" and "body spray" type of scent.
Longevity is an issue, unless reapplied every three hours, Cedrat Enivrant evaporates leaving nothing behind.
Still, I think this is a beautiful perfume, the 30ml is not that expensive and it last a while if you don't abuse it.
If you are looking for a weekend fragrance, this may be worth a try, it's easy to wear, carefree with no pretensions.

This reminds me of Creed's Neroli. Its really fresh. Very clean, non offensive and zesty. I really like this one. I know everyone uses "clean" to describe perfumes, but this has a very fresh aroma. The dry down is as good as the opening. I wont repeat the notes listed, they are exactly what you imagine. Very nice combo. The bad part... Its weak. The sillage is about a 6. With some work, I think this could be a powerhouse. For now its perfect for the office.

Citron + green tea+ sugar :) On my skin I feel notes orange sanguine :) I like it. Very elegant , sweet citron, summer !

I doubt anyone could actively dislike Cedrat Envirant.

As with the closely-related Orange Sanguine from their line, Atelier probably deserve an award for producing something so close to the real eponymous fruit of the fragrance's name as it makes no discernible difference.

It's fresh, natural, zesty and perfect for summer lounging by the pool or at the beach. So very nice, but it doesn't quite make it on to my theoretical 'to buy' shortlist if only because, as odd as it sounds, it's too realistic - as in "it's fragrance disguised as a cocktail!" However much I like drinking one, I'm less sure about smelling like one.

(Interestingly, I get less of this vibe with Orange Sanguine, my preference of the two, and more so in the drydown.)

If you're not bothered by that kind of thing, however, Cedrat Envirant is a no-brainer. I'd invest in the available soap variant, too.

Highly recommended.

The following review is really for my notes only, its very brief and leaves out a ton of details. Im just typing something that I remember each by. Im sure I will disrespect someones favorite fragrance too.

Huge lemon with a very light floral background. Later lemon with some vetiver. Very rich, juicy lemon. Full-bodied. Almost bottle worthy.

Very well made citrus scent with a lot of astringent and refreshing lime.

Very longlasting for this kind of fragrance (more than 4-5 hours)) with moderate-good sillage.
If you like citrus and natural scents this is a must try.

This is less sweet than L'Humaniste (but in the same way) and better than Creed Royal Water (I don't like Creed fragances at all).

scent: 7.5/10
lasting: 8/10
sillage: 6/10

The most prominent note for me is what you would smell from the skin of a lemon, if you cut into it to release the oils and then put it right to your nose. It's a clear, fresh, and lovely citrus, uncomplicated by a number of other notes. It doesn't need anything else to make it interesting--everything I need is in the aroma of that freshly cut citrus skin.

It does not last as long as Profumum Roma Acqua Viva (which I also love) but it sparkles more.

Mons

I just purchased this 3 hours ago, it smells like creamy lime with a touch of mint ice. I love this scent, it is a clear and crisp departure from my normal heavy patchouli bombs.
There is an effervescence to this scent, it is like a sparkling creamy lime soda.

Atelier Colognes can do no wrong in my book and this scent was a must have for me.

Jridgen

Expecting something like Frapin L'Humaniste from the note breakdown.
