I can’t stand oud satin mood, I don’t like any fragrance with oud in it.
But this one!!! It’s the most gorgeous, creamy and light oud note ever!
Overall the fragrance is rich and creamy floral, just a bit oriental! Smells expensive! And much better than oud satin mood, and other oud fragrances (others atkinsons oud fragrances also good but not like this one)

Forget to mention: it’s a beast! As an heavy oversprayer I use two sprits of this juice at most otherwise I’ll kill myself and everyone near me.

Bibi16

Beautiful vanilla with the creamiest yet most comforting soft oud I have ever smelt 😍😍. Its addictive, could not stop smelling it, need this in my collection.

Nothing harsh or sharp to my nose, the notes are very well blended

Perfect for non oud lovers imo.
Love this !!!😍

madelineandmore

I am blown away by this fragrance.
A risky blind buy for me, which I don't normally do.
At first I was quite nervous because the first spray is similar to black orchid but thankfully that changes quickly.
The fragrance becomes more aromatic, sour and fresh but has that smooth, comforting woody, tonka base.
Reminds me of Portayal Woman in the sense that it is also a powerful woody/vanilla/floral that smells very luxurious.
This scent is for a grown woman, if you want something cute and girly this ain't it.
First time I wore this fragrance I got complimented by a colleague who said that I smelt amazing and that they could smell it as soon as they walked in.

Mademoiselle Rêve

I have it, and here are my thoughts as a person who does not wear any oud fragrances.

1. The most prominent note to me is the black tea. It doesn't overweigh the rest of the bouquet, for a bouquet it is - a woody-floral one.
It's beautiful! I feel cosy wearing it now in winter... It evokes a feeling of being wrapped in a blanket at home, with a cup of the most refined tea. It's very elegant. It will elevate an outfit you wear. When I sampled it in the end of summer, in warmer time, it oozed sexiness to me, now, in the cold season, it feels much more casual and cosy.
It is very well blended! I cannot single the listed notes out, except for the tea, at the beginning.

2. Again, as someone who does not wear oud, I do smell it here. It is a very soft, grounding tone, just a tiny amount in the background. Feminine. I cannot say whether it suits a Queen, but it is made to suit a Woman, for sure.

Some reviews mention it being overly sweet, I do not wear very sweet perfumes and I do not consider this one as such, but the woody base is balanced with a sweet tone (tonka), yes.

I perceive this perfume as something grounding. Very good for fall and winter for sure. My Mr. Rêve liked it. I will consider layering it with some delicate rose.

Overall, you definitely receive quality here.
Have a beautiful day 🌟

After checking the notes, it comes as a total surprise to me that I don’t like Oud Save the Queen. I actually love Oud Save the King!

Back to this…having some of my favourite notes in the composition: cloves, tonka beans, jasmine and orange blossoms don’t understand how, but this smells sour on me. I mean both sweet, vanillic and sour at once.

If I were to assess the performance, I wouldn’t say it performs moderately, nothing impressive, it is softer and quieter than Oud Save the King. Atkinsons have better fragrances than this, this is an odd one…

Might be a skin chemistry issue but it doesn’t smell good at all on me. Nope, not my thing! I will have to wash it off.

Ferra_Verto

Lightly spiced green tea becomes a creamy white floral with slightly sweet oud. Warm and inviting, very cozy. Perfect for autumn & winter, can get away with it in the spring.
Not a major projector, but this profile isn't meant to be.

Diari

Tried a sample of this and had to get a bottle immediately. I later found out this is the favorite fragrance of the eclectic drag queen Katya Zamolodchikova, and everything just clicks: its volume is moderately loud yet has clarity, the blend is sweet but not cloying; sweet-woody-florals affair that's at once comforting and magnetic. There isn't any discernible oud, but it's a love!

Bibi16

This is the cosiest, smoothest, softest and creamiest feminine Oud you will ever smell! It’s sweet yet perfectly balanced by the tea note !!! I need this !!!

The Wolf

This is a gourmand type scent that's really softened up with the orange blossom. It's sweet and soft as a down feather pillow. I'm sensitive to cloves but they're balanced just right. You can sense the relationship with Oud Save the king and The Other Side of Oud, but it goes in a more feminine direction thanks to those florals which are persistent.

I get the tea and tonka which sweeten it and smooth it out even more. It almost smells like it's got a little coconut which I noticed in the male counterpart. It's got a creaminess to it and no oud to my nose. If you are looking for a well balanced sweet gourmand scent, you may love this one. These can be found cheap (for niche) but doesn't smell cheap. It actually smells like something that Kilian Paris would release. Squarely feminine IMO

This perfume is so amazing cozy and sweet but elegant not over its very delicious that i want to buy another bottle i don't find a lot of perfume tiktok reviews or in youtube its a hidden gem

Golabd

Sooooooo good, a very nice sweet smooth ,dense floral and not loud at all but noticable, cant pick up a specific note, quite linear, projection and longevity moderate. Really enjoying it.

Audrey Francis

There is nothing oud about this oud :-(

peergynt

i hate black orchid. Even if this one is more bearable, I still cannot get over the black orchid scent. It was blind buy i could say blind buy worthy if you are into heavy floral dark scents like black orchid.
not my cup of tea.

meroo

Gave a sample to my brother thinking his partner will have it. He ended up trying it on himself, liking it and we bought him a full bottle for his birthday.
It’s not as “oudy” as the name suggests, which is a good thing. Perfectly unisex, moderate performance.

AEyup

It took me a while but i finally remembered what does Oud Save the Queen remind me of, it is Montale's Oud Tobacco!
Very similar vibe to my nose but this is way smoother, softer and more unisex maybe even leaning feminine .

Oud Save the Queen is a westernised inoffensive oud, very woody than it is oudy, warm and comforting. There is an addictive sweet floral smell in the mix that makes it a joy to wear. I absolutely loved it.

elsakoc

Bergamot save the Oud! I hated oud for the longest time until tom ford oud wood but this, thanks to the wisdom of my ukranian friend, is amazing me at every smell. İt makes me feel like so powerful. Like the red queen, or the black queen of spades. NOT a safe blind buy, but a big surprise. İ almost smell some ylang in this but it might be the intensity of the orange bllossom combined with tonka. One can easily mix this with a lily-of-the-valley scent like dior lucky or jml waterlily. 9/10

ns.mahboobi

I get musc Ravageur minus bold animalistic side of musc Ravageur and more flowery and easier to wear.
I layered them with each there, result was amazing,

ns.mahboobi

I love the strong sillage of oud save the queen, it's simple pretty easy to wear oud fragrance. I tested at store, I iked in first sniff, now I've got sample to be sure about buying it.
I definitely want it in my collection.

Cherry_Darling

I remember picking this out at rouille white among many that i smelled that day many years ago. Today I have a totally different view on it. It actually feels a little basic, probably due to the tonka heaviness which is more a sugary vanilla to my nose. Not too much oud but woody and plenty of fairly nondescript white floral (jasmine is usually far more heady, not that I mind as I'm not a huge jasmine fan.) This is a nice scent but absolutely doesn't feel niche today. There is a super subtle spiciness of the clove in it too.

Joani_Cheddar

Exceptional - after 15 minutes this dries down to a woody vanilla. Masterfully blended, I barely detect OUD, but I do identify woody notes. Im a fan of Atkinsons, Im a fan of this fragrance! This is oud friendly for beginners. This is one of my favorite oud fragrances and also one of my favorite vanilla fragrances - cheeese! This is the fragrance of smooth grooves; I heard he sang a good song, I heard he had a style, And so I came to see him ~ And... I wore this fraaa grance. This is a great woody vanilla, thick yet light fragrance. If testing - put on skin and let it morph - or you will get basic on strip.

PerfumedParrot

I love this! It’s a cashmere-soft oud (that’s barely an oud) with musky tonka that’s kept alert and zesty from the jasmine, cloves and bergamot. I love how it’s spicy-sweet without being too sweet. It’s just perfectly blended and keeps drawing me back in to smell it. I think I need a bottle.

Arfume

This is not a very complex oud scent but it somehow attracts you. You like it and wear it. Cause it is a soft and wearable sweetened oud with a touch of florals. A royal scent which is also humble as it should be. I own both the oil and edp version and both are performance monsters.

Hd_Diana

I also agree that this doesn’t have anything to do with Black Orchid, you can clearly smell the oud here and it’s not cozy or gourmand in my opinion but it’s not a stinky oud. I do not enjoy this perfume, it smells dated to me. Maybe layered will be different. Review is based on a travel size bought from fragrance.net

Chanel de Lanvin

Nothing resembling Black Orchid which is composed of several materials, which is not the case with Oud Save The Queen whose tonka bean stands out with a lot of persistence.
I wear the oil version which is a real wonder, it must be similar to the Eau de parfum version.

librabeing

the first spritz is absolutely intoxicating and alluring, but unfortunately, with my skin chemistry, the dry down isn't very remarkable. it just smells like a middle of the road "spiced" scent, which is probably good for people who don't like too much woodiness, but i have much stronger woody fragrances (initio's oud for greatness, for example) that suit me much better. pleasant, just not for me. :)

SailorV

This is such a cozy, almost gourmand oud. The main note in this is tonka bean, which is very sweet and slightly spicy here. It reminds me of cinnamon and cookies. The floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom are only a soft veil over the oud and tonka.
The oud in this is very noticeable with its characteristic sharpness, but it's not too challenging even if you're not a huge fan of oud. It's a clean and woody kind and it's balanced with sweeter and softer notes.
It's also not as bombastic as many other ouds. This is warm and deep without trying to knock anyone out.

I was looking for a floral oud without rose, but Oud Save The Queen is not as floral as I expected. So the search continues. Nevertheless I love this scent, it would be perfect for autumn and winter.
Even though I was specifically looking for something without rose, one day I sampled this after using Lush Rose Jam shower gel and the combination was marvelous.
I have no idea why some find this similar to Black Orchid, that's not what I get at all. Black Orchid is great, but an original scent is always better.
Oud Save The Queen lasts over night and works really well on my skin, I noticed it smelled much better and softer on me than on my sample vial. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wearable, sweetened oud.

powerpassion84

this fragrance is so beautiful. I get some fresh green note on initial sprays that lasts for roughly 2 hours then transition into woody sweet floral slightly spicy scent.
I don't detect the oud at all, just woody sandalwood based fragrance even though sandalwood is not listed.
I find it totally unisex even though it is marketed for women.
excellent fragrance worth having one.

A Fragrant Life

A really lovely westernised Oud. Personally, this is what I enjoy and I think if you are a fan of Oud Satin Mood from MFK then you'd like this one too. OSQ is a sharper and sweeter Oud than MFK's, but they both share a lovely smokey quality.

If this one is too strong for you, try Atkinson's Her Majesty the Oud as that is a lighter more floral take on this fragrance.

lindaonlypet

Sillage buono.

Anast4s1a

I've been worn it all day today (2 sprayings in the morning without updatings ) and just get high from this magic fragrance. A truely Royal oud - a sensual, vivid, three-dimensional, rich. And its stability also at a height.

For me first of all the guaiac is noticeable here ( that always makes the composition of posh, subjectively, of course)
There are exquisite shades of tonka beans & unusual vanilla-liquer flowers...

As a whole, it seems to me some exotic, strawberry, oudy-guaiac, nutty-gourmet perfume. Which is 100 percents mine.
Love it.

McDonama

If you’re a fan of oudy scents, you may find the name misleading here. Oud is definitely present, but it’s lighter and sweeter than your average oud fragrance. But still, it’s unique, distinctive and lasts a long time!

Inspired91

The name is puzzling to me. All I get is tangy sweetness, almost grape-y, and jasmine, I cannot detect any oud. It is nice, just not what I pictured from the name.

AMajeedQT

A fruity, sweet scent with a hint of oudy woodiness.

In my opinion, as an oud fragrance, Save the Queen fails.

It smells mainly like a grape juice/soda with a very mild hint of spicy oud.

Decent scent but not worth the asking price unless you really love it.

Notes are completely deceiving here.

Like & pass.

shushkin

Sweet, coconutty with a good dash of oud. The oud doesn't dominate like many scents but you know it's there. If you usually run away from anything oudy then this is a safe bet. A very easy to love scent for those who dont want to smell girly nd like every other woman on the high st.
This is first and foremost a resinous, coconut dream. The coconut must arise from a mix of certain notes in this. I wonder what the accord notes are?
A unisex scent if you are a fella who has a sweet tooth. There is something about the scent that reminds me of my Grans favourite coconut teacake sweets. A very British thing so sorry the rest of the world.
I can't easily pick out the floral notes as it is so well blended but as the sweetness eases after 20 mins or so then you can detect them.I wouldn't call this a particularly spicy scent. The cloves are very low key. The tea note adds a nice dry quality that stops it all getting too cloying.
I can't say it develops that much but no prizes for guessing the oud hangs in there to the end.

oh-so-vague

Smelled on card - unexpectedly this reminded me of Prada Luna Rossa Black but with oud. The rubber-vanilla accord must be to do with the dominant tonka note interacting with the oud and tea. Will be interested to see if this is the impression I get on skin as well

PurePoisonous

This is the most intoxicating, comforting, warm, delicious scent. A typical fan of white florals and hyper-feminine scents initially when I smelled this at the store I passed on it, brought a sample home and once it settled it came to life, its absolutely stunning. A warm spiced earl grey tea, under a cashmere blanket, in a ski lodge with your soul mate. Divine.

New signature winter fragrance. I'll wear this for the rest of my life.

A sad story about a pushy SA at Barney's in Chicago, and my happy ending. While visiting my daughter I wanted to visit Barney's to see if they had anything new. The SA was snide and had a superior attitude to go with her botoxed face. While monopolizing my time with her non stop questions and paper samples, the SA said that "I probably didn't know what kind of perfume I liked". As I tried to get away she thrust a paper under my nose and insisted I spray the top of my hand.
I thanked her and we left. As we trekked through the city, my nose kept sniffing out my hand. It was glorious! I had no idea what it was though. My daughter remembered it was Atkinsons and had Queen in it. When I got home I searched for it and bought it on the spot. I had grown very tired of Oud fragrances, but this one was so different I fell in love with it. You will have to experience it yourself to fall in love, just don't go to Barney's.

mademoiselle-c

First off... I must commend the name of this fragrance - creative!! The SA at HR in MTL is a big fan of Atkinson and introduced me to the house in the cold winter months during on of my stops at the counter. This fragrance is a beautiful oud. It is not overpowering nor is it overbearing; it is classy and regal. The tonka-oud combo is dreamy. It does have a bit of a grapey-vibe happening, but it is not off-putting. This fragrance is well crafted and is obviously made of fine, hand picked ingredients. A little pricey but the quality is definitely there. Beautiful for a night out or an event - I wore this to a formal and felt like a queen. Oud save the Queen in all of us. xx

LLB_addict

WOW. I found this when sorting through my decants/samples given to me from others. I don't think I even tried it before. THIS is in the top five of my favorite oud fragrances. With tonka beans, agarwood and jasmine as the top three loudest/longest lasting notes, you just cannot go wrong in my book. I think that this is another oud fragrance for those afraid to try them. Its base is soft, but still so very fragrant!! Powdery oud....just WOW. I have had one spritz from the sample, and 4 hours later it is more than a skin scent and am certain others could still smell it on me if I was moving around them. Phenomenal....I must have some!

freddinos

I loved the notes on paper, but disliked Oud save the queen..
I imagined a feminine jasmine and oud mix.
To me it's like Lush's Vanillary with some white florals and coconut and a fine oudy trail in the drydown.
The oud was very subdued, and the overall feeling that of a very sweet perfume. I really dislike Vanillary and the resemblance was quite prominent so the search for the elusive jasmine oud perfume continues for me , this wasn't it sadly.

villey91

Oud Save the Queen - Atkinsons! You are luxurious, classy, cool, sensual, brave and mysterious.
Everytime I've sprayed this perfume on me, I get a lot of compliments. A friend of mine once told me that my scent makes her feel like she's inferior. And it was Oud Save the Queen that I was wearing. The comment cracked me up, but I totally get what she meant. This scent truthfully is regal! No aldehydes, no super soapiness or powder - not that I love those scents any less! But this is so hard to describe...Imagine you're in a high end boutique in NYC. It's that scent that just draws you in and captivates, makes you feel like you are "someone" or in some case might make you feel like you don't belong there. But that's not me.

The opening is huge blast of earl grey tea and bergamot and sparkling florals in the background. As the scent dries it gets more and more sweet but not sugary. Lots and lots of tonka bean on an oud-woody base. The tonka bean + jasmine reminds me of Dior Addict (edP)! But not an actual vanilla bean here in the mix at all. Often I actually like to add some vanilla into this by layering some vanilla perfume like Comptoir Sud Pacifique or Lavanila over it. (Lavanila's Pure Vanilla + Oud Save the Queen is pure Heaven for me!)

For 2 years today, this scent has been one of my three most favourite scents. I have about 30-40 scents that I love a lot and use semi-often, but Oud Save the Queen I use at least once a week just like the other 2 of 3 of the most favourites.

I pray this never gets discontinued!

nada

Notes listed here has nothing to do with reality. Smell is awful and just like some knock off at the back street. Raspberries and tart.

racb

My first Oud and a fantastic one to begin with.

Begins with a massive hit of Oud and warm wood. I swear I can get Amber in there somewhere too. There are many other scents in the background, tantalising and waiting to burst through.

On dry down a jasmine sweetness comes to the fore, silky smooth and creamy. Perfectly balanced with this is the earl grey, providing a crisp note to offset..

Zyxelle

Lovely, warm, spicy. Feeling of something found that was lost, not knowing it was lost, untill i found it again in this smell.
Absolute fall and winter favorite.

sarwar1979

I tried both Save the King AND the Queen and preferred the Queen.
I am male and think this could be worn by men too even though it ststes that it is a female fragrance.
Not quite worth adding to my collection as I have other ouds but definately worth looking into.

Magic Ketchup

This is an excellent perfume - really smooth, floral and rich; and a delicate oud makes it a winner. My immediate association was (it's very silly) grape juice mixed with oud. Oud lover should really check it out!
