Wanted by Night by Azzaro is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. Wanted by Night was launched in 2018. Wanted by Night was created by Quentin Bisch and Michel Girard. Top notes are Cinnamon, Mandarin Orange, Lavender and Lemon; middle notes are Fruity Notes, Incense, Cumin and Red Cedar; base notes are Tobacco, Vanilla, Cedar, Leather, Benzoin, Iso E Super, Cypress and Patchouli.

Azzaro launches Wanted by Night in the spring of 2018 as a sensual, evening edition of the original Wanted created by Fabrice Pellegrin in 2016. The new perfume is inspired by the hedonistic lifestyle of Loris Azzaro during the 1970s.

"Azzaro Wanted by Night is the fragrance of a modern-day seducer. An extraordinary man. Elegant, bold, mysterious, he is surrounded by an air of confidence and power. Whether night or day, he attracts and arouses desire… For him, it’s an endless night; and for them, it’s a one-on-one moment that they will never forget..."

Azzaro Wanted by Night is announced as an explosive woody and spicy oriental of unabashed sensuality, a "blend of temptation and masculinity." The composition mixes exotic woods and spices, and highlights the three main accords: cinnamon, red cedar and tobacco.

The face of the advertising campaign is model Nikolaï Danielsen. The cylindrical Azzaro Wanted bottle is transformed with chrome-plated cap with an elegant dark smoky lacquer, to contrast the amber fragrance within.

The fragrance is available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I didn't like it when I initally got it, but after around a month of having it I smelt it again and thought it smelt amazing!

Personally I love the sweet fruity smell that it gives and believe it can be worn in both the day time and night, although if your going to school don't spray more than 3 because when I went to class in the morning I noticed people across the classroom complimenting the smell.

MINIONBOI

Amazing fragrance for a cool weather day.

Strong Sweet, Fruity and Cinnamon filled opening, which dries down to a subtle powdery vanilla scent.

Good projection and sillage, I had someone ask my friend what smelled so good in the area a few minutes after I had left.

redriverronin

An amazing date night fragrance takes the original and makes it unique and sexy not quite like anything else fruity sweet spice and fresh will definitely have to get on eBay in the future but that’s how it goes.

Gulag Gary

I purchased two bottles as soon as I heard it was being discontinued. I love it almost as much as Most Wanted Parfum. I used them interchangeably, and on occasion, I layer them. After reading reviews that this frag doesn't perform on paper, I went ahead and sprayed it on a tester strip- they're absolutely right! I can't believe how flat it smells on the strip compared to on my skin! Makes you wonder how much that impacted sales. 9.5/10

ApeMaxxxing

Smelt in store on a test strip and it smelt like a fresh shit
put on skin and it was amazing def wearing it to party's and special occasions
and normally i dont like vanilla frags
10/10 Would but def should smell in store before

luk3tait

initially i gave this an "ok" - but i hadn't worn it for a while, so i let it sit (didn't macerate just left it) and i've definitely come around on it. i still stand by most of what i said, this is incredibly strong, and very spicy but after coming back i can pick up that orange note a lot more, it's a lot sweeter than i thought (though still very spicy/strong) which i like, i'm a fan of sweeter/tropical/fresh fragrances so obviously this isn't my type of thing but i definitely do like this now. not great, and it's definitely for special occasions (could see this as a date night/bar type of fragrance) and it's definitely not for everyday use (was wearing this to school before. 💀) but i'm a lot more sold on this than i was before

Azzaro Wanted by Night is like a chaotic symphony of scents that surprisingly harmonize. Before even peeking at its olfactory pyramid, I caught whiffs of a fruity-spicy blend with hints of incense, leather, and more. It sounds like a jumble, but trust me, it works.

It kicks off with a sweet, spicy punch led by cinnamon, then swiftly transitions into a fruity cocktail with warm woodiness tagging along. As it settles, the woodiness takes center stage, with tobacco, vanilla, and patchouli playing supporting roles in the background. It's like a journey from the lively streets to the cozy depths of a wood-paneled lounge. Despite its seemingly random mix of notes, Azzaro Wanted by Night manages to pull off an intriguing and inviting scent that's perfect for a night out.

"This one is definitely suitable for someone who’s mature, adventurous, and confident. The scent is truly unique. While many might immediately detect cinnamon in the opening, I'd have to disagree. To me, the opening resembles a boozy, sweet, and spicy butterscotch with a hint of sweet dates. The dry down is extraordinary, transitioning into a more woody, sweet, and spicy fragrance with subtle fruity notes. It's a superbly executed cologne, and I love it."

Jetik356

Been wearing this for about a year now and am very disappointed to see it getting discontinued. The opening isa blast of cinnamon and synthetic fruits, but dries down to a sweet fruity, woody spice. During the late dry down the fruits and spice disappear, leaving a musky incense scent. This late dry down reminds me heavily of the incense dry down of Dylan blue(without the ambroxane.
Easily my best performing fragrances, one spray on neck will last me all day no problem. also girlfriends loves it which is a bonus.

despairellaa

ahhh, mine’s on its last legs. a shame, truly! this one had a heavy presence in my colder days. such a fake-it-till-you-make-it scent with confidence upped tenfold, as anxiety simply doesn’t go with this stunning, lightly smoked cinnamon with an aromatic edge! an intrigue - i could never distinctly single out lavender whenever i smelled it, but it certainly made itself known in subtle ways. moderate projection, beautifully lingers on clothes. i wonder what fruity notes are in there since i only get mandarin, but it doesn’t stick around on me much.

side note, as it’s heavily rated as masculine (and i don’t disagree): not a man, felt very comfortable wearing it!

jameslee

Im glad I grabbed a bottle since it got discontinued. Its an amazing sexy sweet, spicy and frutiy fragrance with cinnamon and apple notes that stand out the most. Longevity and projection are strong. Great for the winter, 8.5/10.

Swayze123

Smells like someone mixed 10 of the most popular women's perfumes at Macy's and added a base of Cinnamon with Tabacco. It's a sweet hot mess. 2/10

Pilarcoast

blind bought this and it is so stronnggggg. This was my introduction to cinnamon and I hated it, the cinnamon is insanely strong but as it dries down it becomes a sort of gourmand sent. 6/10

mario.eira

I have a 100 ml brand new full bottle of this one to swap.

honestly after buying more fragrances im not a fan of this one at all, the smell is a beast in a bad way, smells like cinnamon smelling salts, when my classmates sprayed it twice in my class we had to open the windows and go outside for a few minutes because it gave the people near me headaches

Sosa1x3000

Michel girard and Quentin birsch thanks for creating this masterpiece 🧢🧢

BigBearHK

Great resemblance to Viktor & Rolf Night Vision EDP which I love & own. Viktor & Rolf NV EDP has a layer of forest vibe (balsamic fir?) & faint pistachio hint, while Azzaro WbN has sweet fruit & funny base notes

Love'em both.

srh37

a boy in my class wears this and does not believe me when i say it smells like cinnamon.
It smells like Cinnamon.

Jaquiqui

It smells like polo red at the beginning but then transitions to a spicy vanilla scent after a while

Gulag Gary

Incredible opening of dark fruit, cinnamon, honey and a little citrus. There's a mysterious allure to this one that will make you stand out on a night out. Reminds me of a pot of compote boiling on the stove with spices added to it. The window in the house is open and you can smell someone chopping fresh cut cedar. Definite stunner. Disappointed that it's being discontinued, so I bought a backup bottle.

mario.eira

I love the opening and hate the drydown. It must be the fruity notes that make me nausea
Too youthful, sweet and synthetic for my taste

meekmillz

Bought this as it was cheaper than the other two azzaro's, still didn't disappoint. you can smell alot of cinamon, its pleasant and it last longer than my other fragrances on my skin (had a shower and could still smell it). I can see how its not for everyone but i'd say its a safe blind buy, my second best in my collection.

value for money 5/5
opening 3.5/5
dry down 4/5
performance 5/5
overall 4/5

ambatuspray

Got a decant of this, opening is good but a few minutes later, there is just something in this that genuinely smells so bad, it's probably because of the fruity notes, it sticked to my skin making it worse, the smell is just nauseating.

AidenT

Very solid fragrance but the cumin note in it is overpowering in my opinion so it kinda ruined it for me. Very masculine fragrance. I see people saying its youthfull and I completely dissagree. I think its the most mature one out of the wanted line. If you like cinammon and cumin and you are a man over 20. Then its something for you.

chipchippahson

It took months to come to terms with this. Honestly, I still hate the opening, it smells like a cheap cinnamony Yankee Candle ripoff. But the further into the drydown it goes, the more enjoyable it gets. It's complex without being dense or heavy, and eventually becomes aromatic in a way that cuts through cold weather effectively. A nice alternative to typical fall/winter scents. Even the overly synthetic fruity and stale tobacco notes (on my skin at least) actually end up being welcome components, although it takes a few hours to get there.

This was a blind buy, and I did pick it up during the "it's going to be discontinued" panic that was happening late last year (bought into the hype, I guess). The price hasn't seemed to have dropped at all through discounters at the time of this review, and it's still readily available.

This wouldn't be a repurchase at current 100 ml prices, but it's unlikely the bottle will run out anytime soon as it doesn't get used in the rotation too much tbh. It's unique, and it's nice, but it's waaaay too synthetic smelling for the first couple hours. Normally I don't care about that kind of stuff, but it's so harsh in the beginning I actively dislike it until the notes settle. Longetivity is like 6-ish hours with moderate projection.

arnoe

rlly love this, them discontinuing it makes me wanna kms

Sandy_S

Don't go by any reviews you read here. The main factor that everyone forgets to mention here is which region of the world they are using the perfume in. Some perfumes perform good in hot regions while some perform good in colder regions and vice versa. I stay in Singapore and its a moderately hot climate here. And here this perfume just bursts with fragrance. 3-4 sprays get me along all day.
Just go to a store and test it first, If you like it then only buy it.

Okay coming back to Azzaro Wanted By Night.... This perfume is just AWESOME.!!
It smells so good and different from anything else I’ve tried. It’s like a mix of spicy, fruity, and woody notes that make me feel amazing. It’s not too strong or too weak, it’s just right.
I wear it mostly at night, when I go out with my family or friends, and sometimes on certain occasions, also wear it at my workplace. It's a compliment beast and will always get you noticed, because it’s not a common or boring scent. It’s a scent that makes you stand out.
If you’re looking for a perfume that will make you feel bold, mysterious, and seductive, then you should definitely try Wanted by Night. Trust me, you won’t regret it 😀

AverageManSmells

Starts off very fruity, warm, and spicy. It becomes woodier and ambery on the dry down. Projection stays consistent for about 4-6 hours although it's not as loud as I expected. My only issue is that the ambery dry down starts to feel very synthetic as time goes by. Not a bad fragrance. Fun to wear.

Louismanuel

Overrated. Gave it away.

kettle-convoys

starts out like polo red

Dumbplings

Smells like vinegar...nasty!

bdgarver

If you are over 35 all of these Wanted flankers are too sweet & fruity. Complete F boy vibes and the notes are lost in the syrup like sweetness. Great bottle design though!!

Miracle.Fragrance

the smell of tobacco with the addition of sweet fruit.
The downside is that this perfume is quite close to the skin, but the longevity is very good. and in my opinion this is the best version of the Azzaro Wanted series.

dfreeman

Cinnamon in this is very apparent, surrounded by fruits and woods. Feels very youthful yet masculine. I would never dare wear this in warmer weather lol. There's definitely a lot going on, which is probably why this gave me a headache after wearing it for a while. I really did enjoy the scent, but I had to sell it for the reason that I felt sick whenever I wore it.

7.5/10

fallz

Why in the world did I sell my bottle I must have been tweakin. I recently smelled this on a coworker and immediately knew it was Wanted by Night. I'm not sure why people say it's weak because when my coworker walked into the breakroom it filled up the room and was all I could smell. It reminded me how unique this designer cologne was and I knew I should pick it up before it gets impossible to find.

kharovv

Projection is not so good.

Ricketycricket

One of the best synthetic messes out there. Smells like Mexican tamarind candy to me. Gonna try to hunt down another bottle.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

Azzaro's Wanted by Night is a confident and daring fragrance that leaves a lasting impression. The initial burst of cinnamon and mandarin orange creates an attention-grabbing opening, perfect for nighttime or formal occasions. The heart notes introduce a rich blend of cedar and cumin, adding depth and intensity. The base notes of tobacco and vanilla deliver a warm and seductive dry down.

Wanted by Night boasts commendable longevity, lingering throughout the evening with a strong sillage that makes a confident statement without being overpowering. The revolver-shaped bottle, with its dark gradient and gunmetal finish, mirrors the fragrance's bold personality.

In conclusion, Azzaro's Wanted by Night is a versatile and memorable choice for those who appreciate a bold and sophisticated scent. It successfully captures the essence of the night, making a powerful statement that lingers in the memory.

Gustaph

I have been using this fragrance moderately during the past 3 months. This fragrance is fruity and sweet with undertones of vanilla and cinnamon. It's a great-smelling fragrance for colder months but it's in my opinion too fruity. I would like a bit stronger smell of vanilla. I would not buy this again but from what I've heard I like it less than my friends do. I give this fragrance a 3,6/5.

Henk03

I use this as my daily scent during the colder months. A great powdery and sweet fragrance where the mandarin adds a touch of freshness in the opening. Great longevity and good projection I give it an 8.5/10.

Skeletonsbytravisscott

So I ordered this think I was getting the original wanted. I got wanted by night. The og wanted is better and so are all the flankers except wanted edp and wanted tonic. It just smells basic and nothing crazy

Qpa

You know you're the one who wants everything and a little extra out of the ordinary. You who are seen. You who explode in social contexts with exuberant energy. So is this scent. It is very extra of everything. It can catch you in a flood of compliments. Demands a lot from its wearer. You can't be mean with an H&M suit. You have unique brands, likewise your fragrance. This one rocks your world. You who are a little extra and far from normal.

Felixthreeone

This fragrance is an absolute damn mess. An over-the-top, unapologetic mess. A complete and utter mishmash of notes that make almost no sense when viewed from a screen or on paper. An explosion of fruits, cinnamon, woods, and some other stuff that shouldn't be considered appropriate by the human race.

....But this stuff is insanely awesome. It is addictive, in a way that is almost indescribable. I really love this, but I'm not sure why. For all intents and purposes, I shouldn't. Something which lacks identity, yet is unique and there's no reason for it. It walks along with the wanted DNA somehow, but diverges at the same time. I'm baffled. I like the other offerings, as I don't consider myself a 'snob' from a fragrance perspective (I pretty much can appreciate almost everything unless it is really off-putting). Reading some of the comments, they make sense. On many points. But, for whatever reason, this has become my favorite from this line. It makes no sense, I know. Unless you know this fragrance, and have found yourself returning to it with an odd fascination that keeps you wearing it over and over.

fred.joan

Wearing this tonight. Is a nice fragrance. Is not ground breaking it’s classic and gives my a lot of vibes to a fragrance I used to wear Perry Ellis 360 black and Armani back when it was Black code instead of Armani code ( that vintage black code is the best designed fragrance all timee for sureeee!) This is like powdery, it’s nice for dates spring, fall, winter nights. For me it’s a 7 out of 10. 7 it’s super good for me

isyhrn

Personally love how “messy” this frangrance is. The tobacco really stands out on my skin which I Iove. This is currently my signature scent. Heard it’s discontinued can someone confirm this?

FragnaForever

Have yet to try on skin but on paper it is 212 heroes/ original wanted with added cinnamon thats about it. Could be redundant Edit: Tried this on skin and worn in the cold. Also, how anyone could consider this a winter fragrance is beyond me it is so freaking fresh to my nose and stays fresh and linear throughout the entire journey the cinnamon is honestly vaguely there and i detect no warmness at all, fell for the hype and am sadly dissapointed. Going to try the most wanted next hopefully its not as fresh.

sonny35

Unfortunately that cumin note really popped off my skin about an hour after application. Someone made a comment about the room smelling like curry and knowing full well no food had been consumed in that room I realised it was the fragrance I was wearing. What a shame as the rest of the notes worked really well and gave a pleasant smell. Just one note ruining the whole thing ... The cumin! Safe to say projection/sillage wasn't a problem although luckily for me the longevity was short lived and everything had become a skin scent by hour 4.

cinamonywhiskey123

this fragnance is very good and ive been using it for a long time.İt starts ambery and cinemony and the extra fruity scent becames perfect for this fraganance.İt can be sometimes used when its a little bit chill outside at summer and it will be perfect for winter. Overall 8.5/10

colognefreak

I don’t know what the base notes are in all of these “Wanted” frags. Whatever they are, they all smell the same at the end and I don’t like it.
I bought the OG and gave it to my grandson right away. He said he wears it once in a while…not his favorite.

ethan-fragrantica

Wanted by Night by Azzaro:
This is a very sweet, warm spicy fragrance that makes me think of spiced fruit at Christmas. I love the warm cosy feeling it provides and its got incredible performance and longevity. Suitable for any age really, but I could see it more on an older guy. Could be used as a clubbing fragrance or even just on a chill autumn/winter day or night. Woody, slightly citrusy and incredibly unique-this is one of my all time favourite winter frags and its a real shame about the discontinuation rumours, if anyone knows of any clones/similar frags please let me know (the other Wanted line don't have the same vibe as this one unfortunately).

Top notes: Cinnamon, spiced orange, a touch of lavender and maybe lemon.
Middle notes: Cedar, incense, warm fruit and cumin.
Base notes: Stronger cedar, patchouli and tobacco.

Longevity: 4.5/5
Sillage: 4/5
Scent: 5/5
Design: 5/5
Gender: Masculine
Overall: 5/5

Yung Tzle

I’m just your average every day user, 15 years old male, and the opening of this frag is a bit harsh with all the spices. The open kinda tickles my nose I guess. However, I love the fruits in open, wish I could smell them more in the dry down. The opening is like a 6/10. Don’t turn off yet though, this stuff turns up in the dry down. Love the sweet cinnamon in there, still tickles my nose but I like wayyy better in the dry. This stuff is loudddd and projects a lot and lasts for a while as well. Sprayed this on a hoodie and it stayed for 2 days. 8/10 dry down

Theyluvaiden

Really fruity and youthful. But can be worn by an older person with its woody and cinnamon scent. A very good scent that I’m going to wear at school

Tfrag

I agree with the comment below mine saying that it smells "off" a bit. Something generic or cheap smelling in it that I just don't care about, I only bought this 100ml bottle because it was 99% full an I paid 20$ for it from a friend who didn't care for it. It smells really sweet an boozy , I heard women like it but I haven't worn it enough to find out yet cause I don't really like it much myself but it's still An OK an decent fragrance if your into these kinds of scents. I give it a 3/5 it seems to smell strong an last a decent amount of time I'm sure the most wanted parfum is probably a better option. This Also smells like a party or night time type of fragrance, more suitable for fall an winter I'd assume also.

EDIT: After wearing it a dozen times I'm starting to appreciate it more an understand where it's coming from a bit more an enjoy it. The dry down is a bit better than the opening but the scent doesn't change too much from start to finish. It projects big an lasts long even with 1 spray behind my ear i can smell it still after a 2 hour workout an sweating the whole time ,i also sprayed it on 2 hours before my workout I change my rating to 4.25/5

MSKMAN

I guess I am in the minority.

I wouldn't ever say I like this fragrance. Something about it smells "off" to me. I've tried some of the other flankers, which are fine, but there is something about wanted by night, which I do not enjoy. Since I am so critical, I will try to wear it again this week. If my opinion changes, I will edit or review it again. Overall, it's a strong pass, I think what I dislike the most is that is trying to be sweet yet overtly spicy and resinous in an unnatural sort of way.

Update: My opinion hasn't changed after wearing it a few more times. I don't like it.

Scentinal 1971

This was my first lesson about the dangers of jumping on the 'hype train'. I have a few Azzaro fragrances and bought this due to the highly rated reviews I'd seen about how amazing it is. Sadly, I do not find anything amazing about Azzaro Wanted by Night. It is a headache inducing, syrupy thick mess of a fragrance with no redeemable features. I have tried to like this, I really have, but after using about .5% of the bottle it is now boxed away never to be used again. I can't say that it is the cinnamon note either, as I love other cinnamon forward fragrances- the original Obsession for example (now sadly discontinued). This smells like ramped up hyper synthetic amber, and not in a good way. If you are a teenager who thinks that loud sickly sweet spice is the way forward, you might well adore this, anyone else should stay clear!

TerreD'Profumo

The only words that could describe this is “beautiful mess”. You can track those notes above but the composition is simply chaos. It is sweet and sour roller coaster from opening to dry down.

ISmellGood93

Debated for months on buying this, and then had to wait until stock showed back up, so I've been putting this one off for a while, and I should not have! It's amazing!

I've sampled The Most Wanted, and I got too much fruit off of it for me, so I decided to blind buy this, and it's way different, I'm glad!

It definitely has the kind of thick, fruity, bar vibe. I'm met with a spicy bit of cinnamon, bit of fruit, bit of smoke, kind of an outlaw gentleman if that makes sense. These notes mix together into something really nice!

After a day of this scent on me, I am not sure if its nose blindness, or just the sillage and whatnot backing off over time, but I felt like it stopped lofting at me after maybe 4 hours or so. At the same time, I wear a number of scents like this, some feeling like they wear off though I know they're still going. I also was working pretty hard, so it could have just kinda came off through that I suppose. Will wear it more and see if its a performance thing or not. Regardless, I do love the way this smells. Keeper for sure!

Masterschnozzle81

Ngl my nose might be broken but this smells like a good all season freshy to me. I might have a bad batch or something but nothing about this feels heavy or dark.

nycarty

upon initial spray it is very weird but once it sits on your skin it opens up beautifully and smells much less synthetic. smells like you're sitting in a lounge stuffing yourself with fritters and fruit baskets while your mate is puffing on a big ol badass cigar.

Arvids!

Cough syrup-like synthetic cinnamon opening that dries down into this sickly sweet fruit note that reminds me of overripe banana. Definitely not for me or anyone around me who smelled it either.

s&pscented

Synthetic cinnamon fruity bubblegum. I enjoy aspects of it, but there’s a staleness to the fruity note that becomes off-putting in the dry-down, reminding me of dried spit. Maybe it just doesn’t vibe with my skin chemistry. Smells better in the air rather than up close. If you are into younger clubbing-type fragrances, you will probably dig it. Performance is as good as people say. Apparently it’s discontinued (?), but you can still get it on discounter sites for a good price.

Jaredg177

smell very very good beta

skettchy

I just bought this for 50 dollars and I gotta say it is not what I expected but it was a nice surprise. It feels like you walked into a bar where you see an Italian mafia boss smoking cigars with his friends. At first it smells a bit like caramel chocolate tobacco and a bit of vanilla, it is a bit synthetic when I spray but that might just be my batch. the dry down smells like pure vanilla and tobacco. For me I don't smell the cinnamon at least not as much as the notes say but this is still worth it for under $100 better for winter than fall.

Rasco34

I bought this just recently for 80$ (AUD) and i'm in in love this shit is so good great longevity and projection for a good price great blend 9/10 great fruity spicy and cinnamon scent perfect for Fall and winter I recommend

uwuwood

A diabolical fruit salad- first, a waft of berries that are not quite named, not quite known, then bam! Your baby cousin from your mom's side is sprinkling cumin in. The air smells like tobacco from the men in your family, smoking cigars indoors, while their wives rush around the house. This is the familiar smell of machismo- heady, assertive, a little rough around the edges. You don't stop your baby cousin because you hope his childish enthusiasm- for practical jokes and for life- may be contagious. He's doing the cinnamon challenge and coughing directly into the mixing bowl. He gives you a mischievous, challenging grin. You smile back. It's tooth-achingly sweet. 6/10

zeni

Lets start off strong, I picked this up for 54$ for 100ml, so im not complaining to much but still.

First it projects alot, off the atomizer, skin, paper.
Now the scent? Its wierd, what i pick up is some cinnamon woods, fruit, and lavender.
I was very excited abt this because it says it has tabacco and vanilla, but i don't pick any of it up. Wich disappointed me alot.
Off the scent that i get rn its probably a 6.5/10

Over all price, projectiong, longevity, and smell i give it a solid 7.8/10
:/

Imagine walking into an old-fashion style of bar and see this James Dean looking guy sitting there alone with a glass of rocked straight bourbon with a cigarette on the other hand of him. This is it, this is the feeling, the scent you will feel walking pass by that type of man, that you'll forget James Dean was ever gay.
Absolutely tremendous scent of the sexy, masculine yet outstanding wearer, brilliant sillage and longevity with super affordable price, this will go to my top favorite fragrances of all time.
9/10

SuperHurleyMan

My most favorite, my signature scent, my most complimented fragrance. I don't think I will find anything that surpasses the love I have for Wanted by Night. First sniff, strong cinnamon and orange followed by a cumin note that quickly dissipates 30 minutes in. In the middle, I still smell the cinnamon alongside a strong, sweet tobacco that showcases how manly this fragrance really is. When the finality hits, the cinnamon takes a backseat and a rich cedar alongside the tobacco takes the final stage. WBN is arguably the best bang for your buck; it's the strongest and longest lasting fragrance that I have in my collection. Sillage over 6 feet for at least 5 hours, can still smell my arm 12+ hours later, all for prices that are considered for, "cheapies."

11 out of 10, would smell again

Beautiful fruity cinnamon scent that is perfect for colder weather and dates. Get your bottle before it gets more expensive because it's discontinued.

I can't believe they discontinued my favourite clubbing feagrance... This is why I don't have a sugniture frag... They will always stop what we love and that's it.

Cdub5_

I have slept on this line from Azzaro for way too long. The only Azzaro's I tried were ones from the Chrome line. Not impressed.
I purchased a sample of Wanted by Night several years ago. Honestly, didn't care for it too much at the time, but I was new and I was trying tons of fragrances in a short period of time, so it got lost in the shuffle.
I recently reached waaaay back in my collection and happened to pull out this 10ml sample. I tried it and that sweet cinnamon instantly got my attention. As the initial wearing went on my love for this fragrance solidified. I am totally in love with this!! I can't put it down. I have already purchased 2 backup bottles and don't plan on stopping. I have The Most Wanted EDP Intense and the Most Wanted Parfum on the way, too. I have high hopes for them as well.
Finding absolute loves like this gem is what keeps my fragrance passion going as strong as it is. It's crazy that one of my true loves was hiding under my nose amongst a brand that I snubbed for the longest time.
Awesome stuff!

Theend98

It came back!!.. I never smelled it before until now and wow this is crazy good. I have the Parfum and enjoy it very very much... there both in the same ball park. It's impossible to choose in which is better. wow. Happy to have both of them now. I can now end my fragrance journey in peace.

Fabio01

Good scent, sweet, sexy, manly with some freshness on the top. I feel some vibes of the original Azzaro pour homme, mandarine orange maybe... 7/10

mwillis2217

Got this last year and I didn’t like it at all. I didn’t even wear it, and would occasionally spray it to see if I changed my mind to no avail. I don’t know what happened today, maybe it sitting for a while changed something or my wife and I noses have changed but I put this on today and it smells amazing. Like I’m shocked I can’t believe how good this is. My wife hated it last year and today she told me how great I smelled and was all over me lol. When I showed her the bottle she remembered hating it and couldn’t believe it lol. I’m a reformed, born again, wanted by night believer. It’s legitimately one of my favorite scents lol

5 benefits why you SHOULD buy this amazing fragrance:
1. Amazing longevity and sillage
2. Excellent combination of woody, fruity and spicy notes
3. Epic date night fragrance with unique smell
4. The best one of all azzaro wanted collection
5. Great price compared to what it provides

Yallah Lee

Very good smell with good longivity

Fortyfree

Opens warm and spicy; strong cardamom and tobacco notes.

It's dark, quite musty.

It then sweetens and notes of apple and spiced plumb are perceptible. Also has some cinnamon. Smells "X-massy."

Remains fruity, becomes boozy.

There's vanilla in the drydown mixed with some woodsy notes.

Performance is good. Projection ok, not too strong. Longevity is solid, lasts as a skin scent 6+hrs.

This fragrance would suit a man in their mid-20's, all the way up to about 60, IMO.

Best for the colder months. Not hugely versatile though. As the name would suggest this is always going to work better in the evening.

Overall I think it's pretty decent when considering the price.

Dom Positano

The synthetic sweetness and cumin combination ruin this fragrance. I think it's fine to have those in the fragrance but they overwhelm other notes. I wish this leant more into the tobacco, incense and cinnamon. The sweetness is sickly. The spices don't come across in a sexy way.

This is a pleasant smell but it's not suitable for a person to wear, it would suit a candle or something like that.

I wish it wasn't like this as I liked it initially but the more I wear it the more I realise its not a great fragrance. It pains me to say that as I hate wasting my money. I didn't even buy it blind.

I'm afraid the smell is a lot like the bottle. Cheap and gimmicky. At first I thought the bottle was cool too but the more you look at it and hold it you realise it's like a cheap plastic toy. That's kinda how it smells, like a cheap plastic toy.

I can only imagine 16 year old boys liking this thinking the grls would love it but they more than likely don't.

Ryanmmas26

This scent has gone from a like to a LOVE as simply put this is a “Fall in a bottle” type of scent and in the drydown reminds me of a handsoap from Bath and Body works called Autumn leaves.

On my skin Wanted by Night has 4 stages !..

Wanted by Night has a strange and muddled opening that I’m not exactly a fan as there’s many different notes clashing that just is slightly off putting (in the opening you can detect it’s a wanted flanker but quickly changes )

2nd stage-In about a minute this quickly gets better and sorts itself out and you do get a slight hint of the bubblegum sweetness from the OG but mixed with some richness of the tobacco, cinnamon, cypress and incense ! This stage is really nice and has some solid projection and is a nice balance of something youthful and mature. This lasts about an hour

3rd stage - This is my favorite part of the fragrance as the cinnamon and tobacco are the main players along side the citrus but you still oddly enough get that orange note for a very long time. This phase usually lasts until your 4.

4th stage - in this stage the citrus has faded and pretty much what your left with is a strong cinnamon note with the benzoin but it smells very much like vanilla and the tobacco is there faintly in the background.

( Pretty much this a sweet cinnamon dominant fragrance so if you don’t like cinnamon then I’d avoid this)

Performance is excellent-as even with 1 spray you get moderate projection and sillage so be cautious with this !!! It also lasts me consistently about 10-12 hours !!

( This has gotten good unsolicited attention but also I did have 1 friend that noted that she liked this in the air but up close it was very strong and not as pleasant up close so use with caution as most people will like this but it’s a scent that some may not)

Overall rating -8.75 out of 10 ! I personally love this but not an all time favorite however I’m in love with the Cinnamon and tobacco in this and Wanted by Night has replaced Burberry London as my new festive scent

brenna123

dont listen to these fools. this is an amazing fragrance. not bubblegummy at all. perfect blend of spicy and sweetines. a must have for fall and winter

TheDogfatherHTX

An interesting take on the Azzaro Wanted DNA.

Scent:
Opening is fruity, spicy, and slightly woody/smokey. I can easily pick up the fruit notes and cinnamon, with the incense and cedar in the background. In the dry down the fruit notes are still there along with the spiciness from the cinnamon and smokiness from the incense, but the wood and tobacco notes have become more prominent.

Performance:
Initial projection is strong at around 6 feet, and sillage leaves a very long scent trail, at least 10 feet. The projection and sillage fall off pretty quickly though. After an hour or two, projection has died down to about arms length, and there's only a slight scent trail left. Altogether the scent lasted on my skin about 8 hours.

When to wear:
In my opinion the bright fruit notes along with the spice, woods, and sweet vanilla notes make this an all season, day or night fragrance.

Blind buy:
I would say this is a safe blind buy if you like sweet/spicy/woody fragrances. Nothing about it comes across as polarizing.

Final verdict:
If you like the Wanted line, but want something a little different than TMW and TMW Parfum, add this one to your collection. However, this fragrance seems to be increasingly difficult to find, making me believe it could be discontinued. It's not so mind-blowing that I would recommend spending a lot of money on it, but if you can get it for a good price go for it.

Scent: 9/10
Longevity: 7/10
Sillage: 7/10

iam_iSMELL

I’ve heard from a couple reliable sources within the fragrance community that Wanted by Night has indeed been officially discontinued.
From my understanding Azzaro will still have 2023 batches to be distributed, however.

Wanted by Night is my favorite out of the line, it stands out as the most unique, even though the sweetness is very much in line with the modern designer trend of fragrances; there’s still something in it that is noticeably unique.

As it relates to the scent profile of Wanted by Night what I get is bright fruity-sweet cinnamon up top, herbal aromatics amidst some tobacco thru the mid, and then the stereotypical amberwoody drydown that is the trend of 99% of mass-appealing designer offerings as of late.

I can definitely see the appeal, and why so many people swear by this fragrance. I can also understand why women would like it due to its sweet (but also seductively unique) sillage.

Personally, it’s not my favorite fragrance of all time, and doubt it will ever be my first choice to reach for in my fall/winter rotation ~ having said that as someone who appreciates having variety in my collection it will get the same type of wear for the same type of occasions that I would reach for Eros Parfum.
It’s a good grab and go type of fragrance when you want to smell good yet don’t want to think about it all that hard.

Do feel for the people who are in love with this fragrance, as I do see this being the type of fragrance that will be hard to acquire under $125 here in like 4 years.

Thanks for reading everyone y’all be blessed 🔥🔥

If you made it this far please consider checking out my YouTube channel ~ would love the opportunity to try and warn your sub. Don’t have the most expensive collection of all time, but I do provide honest and authentic opinions.

kakasuke

The opening is sweet, playful and makes you want to smell it more and more...

The dry down is musky, dark and mysterious. It lasts and that is definitely not a bad thing as I love all aspects of this scent.

KJV

I don’t know bout you but this gives me strong Bad Boy (by Carolina Herrera) vibes. Maybe I’m wrong but they have something in common, through this one is better to my nose. It’s really pleasant. Yes it is a fragrance for guys in their early twenties but it’s still something we 30-somethings can wear. It’s nonchalant and I like that

amaroache

its a classic gourmand scent but with an added metallic tinge IMO (almost Azzaro chrome pure like freshness at the opening). GOOD DOSE OF CINNAMON and sweetness. Really nice for kinda of cold weather.

Mid has a mild talc powder and tobacco feel.
Fresh yet amber yet sexy. 8.5/10 good silage and projection.

very possibly my favorite of the fragrances i tried at ulta the other day. smelled like a mix of sweet candy or soda
got a lil bit of coca cola in it i just really loved it. honestly im not 100% sure if i tried this or most wanted parfum cuz the bottles look so similar and i cant remember what the label said, but im prettttyyy sure it was this cuz the notes and reviews on this sound more like what i was smelling.

Chakra Zulu

My eyes rolled back in my head. I went outside and the wafts in the breeze made me goosebump!!! This smells HEAVENLY!!!!! Out of all of the fragrances I own, nothing hit me on first sniff like this! I can’t wait for date night!!

LostSock

Cheap, overly sweet and cloying synthetic drek. I don't usually dislike any fragrances too much, but I can't abide this - the only blind buy I've ever truly regretted and it's been sat on my shelf, almost full for about 2 years. Reminds me of really cheap women's body spray from the late 90's, just sweet and sickly. Tried giving it away 3 times, but my uncle, best mate and cousin all said no thanks, that's 3 generations of men who didn't want a £50 scent for free.

Bluecollarfresh

Not discontinued. I freaked out and got a backup bottle. Checked the batch code. It was made in April of this year.

W0rmw00d

This smells like coming back home from a chilly day out returning to a fresh warm cinnamon apple pie.

The scent isn't cloying on the nose at all, it's a very light and masculine sweet scent. The fruity notes took me off guard at first but it WORKS.

10/10 Autumn & Winter Smell.

hussrahal

I love this entire line, but this to me is STILL the best.
This just stands out and is pretty different, this is one of my favorite designers ever made.
Good performance on top of an amazing scent.
10/10 to me. Banger!

Funky_Monk1988

Anyone else have a loose sitting cap on their bottle? My MW bottle has a tighter sitting cap.

the_Scentsei

So I'm super duper curious as to where you folks get this discontinued news...

This is one of my first loves. I got this early in my journey. I went and put a heavy dose on right now. I have a 100ml bottle paid for ($68.36 after tax) and sitting in my cart. I'm gonna take a stroll and see if this fruity, cinnamon, spicy beast is still acceptable to my more refined nose.

The sense of smell...what a thing. You sure don't have any control on how it develops and perceives the world. I've have thrown out (I'm not passing on future headache bombs) or given away a TON of my early "awesome" frags in the last month. Things like Montblanc Individuel...one time that powdery showery frag was nice...now? I have given away two brand new bottles.

Enough time to walk and see if I cancel the order or if I still LOVE this one...

UPDATE: It's a keeper...

Final Sniffs:
Unique: 9/10 I certainly haven't smelled an abundance of frags but this doesn't smell like anything else I have.
Projection: 8.5/10 it's carried on the breeze very nicely.
Longevity: 9/10 it's got legs for SURE.
Verdict: 9.5/10 this is so good. I truly love it. I'd recommend that you folks buy up what you can while you can

I'd recommend that if you decide to wear this in the heat stay away from overloading. It may give you a headache. It's happened once to me. That one time STILL worries me as I'm about to buy more...

Edit: I bought it. This is a masterful creation by Quentin Bisch. That dude makes some BANGERS. 😳

Collector 01

Discontinued!
Got extremely luck with the last bottle at a discounter.
This fragrance is extremely close to my heart as this is the fragrance that got me into collecting fragrances.

WAKASTARAR

Discontinued?🙂😶🌫️

Sweetboy05

Well I hate to the bearer of bad news, but if I have it correct, this has been discontinued. So if that's true, better grab your backup bottles asap.

Cinnabomb

Sweet and fruity opening, drying down into a bubblegum-sweet tobacco. Long-lasting and good sillage, but always synthetic.
I've owned this for about a year and worn it on and off. It's never been my favourite, but I'm liking it less and less as time goes on. I just can't help feeling kinda douchey when I wear it. I think it's probably better suited to a younger guy (under 35).

frankcoelho

A different signature for a man.
Really, I am not a freshie fan. Sweetness and mystery are much more attention grabbing, both to myself and others. Freshies are usually more of the same with a twist. Now, THIS IS DIFFERENT.
Perfect for fall and winter, I still prefer wearing this during the day during spring and summer. It is a "cheapie" (price have crept up a lot, putting it close tot he most wanted subline).
I wouldn't pay over $70 bucks for it, but it's still worth the buy. Great performance and quite different and sexy.

3NO7

Jeeze! What happened to the price?! I paid $34 for 100ml not all that long ago.

Anyways, really good, strong, sweet scent.

Hamza_Chaudry03

Quite possibly one of my favourite fall scents. Solid performance and projection till this day! Gets me compliments and has a very beautiful fruits and spice blend. I personally think that this fragrance is not a safe blindbuy, so do try it before purchase 😊

nicholassua

my most hated cologne in my 50 bottled collection

PatrikYY

Awesome and unique scent! Great performance and cheap (compared to similiar fragrances). I just wish the tobacco scent would be more significant, at first, i didn't even know it should have tobacco scent until i've read it here
May be too sweet for someone, also if you don't like the smell of cinnamon, this won't be probably for you
Ranking: 9,5/10

JusttheFactsMan

#217 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

I blind bought "Wanted" and was happy with it, so I gave this a shot. The sweetness is a bit much. I found myself liking the cinnamon note way more than I expected. It works. Good longevity, good sillage for date night. No regrets with this.

timmybils

This slightly reminds me of Sauvage but better. I really didn't like sauvage. I had this and the most wanted and I'm keeping this one and giving away the most wanted

MaxFragrance19

Absolutely amazing scent! great projection and longevity, perfect for dates.
One of my most favorite fragrances 10/10.

LLdeduction

Its pretty good but the cumin note sticks out like a sore thumb. if they toned that part down by just a bit, it would be even better. Overall though, less sweet than the other flankers in the line and feels as if its more "mature" if that's even a thing. I will say though, the performance on this is great.

raiza1990

My husband hates it and i am not a fan either. It opens very herb and later i can smell the tobacco and even though i usually like tobacco in colognes, here it smells old. This is definitely not a safe blind buy.

Kelz23

@BDK keep it for now. Give it time. Sometimes it takes our noses a little while to appreciate a fragrance. I didn’t like it at first either. Thought it smelled cheap and screechy. Went back a few months later and I love it. The spices, the citrus, the sweetness. Trust me. Give it time

Kelz23

This was one of my first purchases in the beginning of my fragrance collecting back in 2020 along with the original wanted. This Might be the best in the line. And I have all of them except the newest wanted edp. It’s Just a well blended fragrance from beginning to end. It’s unique and has its own DNA. Doesn’t smell like any of the “remind me of” fragrances listed. Happy to have this one. Top 15 in my collection for sure (check out what I have)

LeviLeFragster

Best Azzaro!

Actually the performance and projection compared to the nowadays lineup is 9/10.

The taste of the scent let's say 8.5, it is masculine, clean quality notes, a bit sweet, but good balance for date night.

Overall I give 9, coz every perfume should perform and last long like this with similar quality of notes!

[email protected]

Probably the best in the line IMO cinnamon/spicy, smokey with the incense tobacco, and added sweetness and richness with the vanilla....seriously even today this is a fairly unique scent that can be worn day or night in the cooler months...shame it's getting harder to find at discounters (can be found if you look hard enough), managed to pick up a 50ml for $40 AUD.

astrid1057

Not much to say except I’m grateful for fragrantica. I was helping my boyfriend find a new cologne and used his favourite notes to find Wanted by Night (initially Spicebomb Nightvision EDT and Invictus Platinum peaked his interest). Compared to those and everything else he tried, this was both our favourite and he wears it everyday now. I think it would be too overwhelming for a hot day but perfect for winter or date night. It’s not my favourite of all time, but I do enjoy smelling it and have nothing negative to say. Also prefer this to the OG wanted scent.

monsieur.moustache

Pleasant spicy fragrance suitable for fall/winter. It's good, but not as good as Most Wanted.

7/10

davidramos555

This is weird for me, definitely not the same juice that I once knew. To my nose it’s been reformulated HEAVILY!

Now, all I get is a Fruity (almost grape”ish”) bubblegum scent. I’d give this away, not worthy to stay in my collection.

BDK

Im not sure if my bottle is just from a weird batch but I really expected way more from this based on the hype. I haven’t heard a lot of people claim this smells cheap, but to me, that’s the first thing that hit my brain upon smelling it. My nose is by no means an expert, but the way the notes are blended made the booziness smell like something wayyyy underdeveloped and worthy of bargain-bin whiskey-inspired candle. I think the dry down/late mid actually smells okay on fabric, I can smell more sweetness/fruitiness that makes it feel higher quality and the blend is more rounded off but for some reason off my skin it just smells like a VERY cheap bad boy winter frag. It’s been maturing for about 6 months and still hasn’t changed so unfortunately this ended up being a tough blind buy for me. Longevity and projection seem to be good, but I can’t stand this one. Which is saying alot considering I’m never this turned off by a designer frag and I actually can’t stand wearing or smelling this. Maybe I’m unlucky, this was pretty hyped. Spicebomb Extreme is miles better for the winter situations that this is aimed at, I know this is cheaper but it smells like it’s worth about 15 bucks. Smell first before buying imo. Hopefully one of my friends like it so I don’t end up throwing this one off my balcony.

Scent- 4.5/10
Performance- 8/10
Versatlity- 6/10

gospodinov_s

On my skin it feels great... the fruits are not so sweet, there is also an edgy barbershop side ... both combined are giving the uniqueness of this juice. A bit of downside is the opening where is this typical mix or cinnamon- zitrus- lavender blend, that we are all tired of and is everywhere. After a wild fruits are coming in a mix with cedar, cumin, benzoin ... and it starts to show the real face of the best fragrance in this series the "wanted" , IMO. The connection with 1 Million is not 100% direct ... there is one Zegna perfume , the Snaghai(2016), that is closer to this one and was far better then 1Mil. and some of its flankers. If someone is searching here tabacco , vanilla and leather in some real clean and unique presentation -just forget it. Nice performance and development ... enjoyable.

FaheemFuckingRyan

It’s a mixture of 1 million Parfum x The one EDP.
Too sweet and overpowering!

Mrtbrcnl

Azzaro Wanted by Night is a bold and versatile fragrance with a dominant orange and cinnamon opening that not everyone can love. This perfume should not be worn in summer. It has a spicy, sugary orange marmalade vibe, modern yet chic. Its longevity is excellent, lasting up to eight hours with strong projection during the first two hours. However, caution is advised due to the strong cinnamon note, which can be overwhelming initially. It is not suitable for formal or daytime settings and the strong cumin may repel some people. Overall, a masculine, attention-grabbing fragrance.
Although I like it as a fragrance style, it is not a perfume for blind buying.

IceMell

While "all" the notes are there from the beginning in the opening, with all of that sensory overload the first thing I get is the tobacco and the smokiness of the incense. It's sweet from the vanilla-benzoin-Iso E combo, but not too sweet. The cinnamon and citrus are there from the beginning, and I begin to notice them right after the smoky tobacco and sweetness. As it moves to the mid, the citrus tones down a little for me and the cinnamon is joined by fruitiness and cumin, but the cinnamon is still very strong to my nose. The vanilla gradually gets stronger and the woods get warmer as time goes by. I only notice the leather because it's mentioned in the notes, and it's the very sweet kind that practically blends in with the vanilla and tobacco. Good thing, too, because I hate strong leather notes. The drydown is a little less sweet on my skin, but I still get cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco and woods. Projection is 2-3 feet for me, and the scent lasts 6-7 hours, with a couple more hours as a skin scent. Holds up well in 75 degrees and under, and the more under that the better. Personally, I would not wear it in weather warner than that, or if I was going to be very active.

For me, this leans closer to Wanted than The Most Wanted flankers. Like Wanted, this one is woody and spicy, though this one is less fresh and closer to a classic oriental woody spicy, which is my favorite style of cologne. It's less sweet than its "Most" brothers, and a different spice leading the spiciness. Those are richer and much more gourmand in nature compared to this one. Still, I love the whole line and find that the different scents are useful for different things. If I had to pick one, it's this one. But I don't, so I have them all.

Orion78

Yes! For 5months of waiting bec. Its always sold out Finally its in my hands now. For me 1st spray just wow! love the scent and when its dry down love it so smooth. I hates over power leather smell, but this blend so well, not over power by the leather. Of all the Azzaro Wanted line, for me this is the best #1! Thats why its always sold-out. BTW i blind buy this bec. of the reviews and never regret buying this perfume.
100/10 for me 👍👍👍

EauDeParFARM

This was my first ever fragrance purchase and boy was this a start of something amazing.

I finally decided to plunge straight into the realm of fragrances as I wanted to elevate myself from the rest and get that edge. All it was that sparked my journey into fragrances was put simply, a night time clubbing/partying/dinner occasion that I really wanted to make an impression and really got for the win.

All I did was do about 10min of research (thanks JeremyFragrance) and my local chemist actually had this and it was on a massive sale. All I can say I was this is some delicious Cinammon yumminess that really pumps you up for the night. I never wore a fragrance until I wore this and it delivered! I was quite easily noticed and was well received from both my male and female friends. I’ve never been complimented about my smell before and this was a game changer and confidence booster.

This is definitely a fragrance for the night or for the colder seasons as it is very pungent and powerful but the scent profile of the cinnamon and the sweet power masculinity it brings is awesome! I would very much so recommend this and good news is that it isn’t too expensive!

Peanutboy7

A very interesting blend of spicy scents, wanted by night in my opinion is the best out of the wanted collection (yes, even better than the most wanted). I fell in love with the fragrance the first moment I smelled it and I have had no regrets ever since. However, if you spray too much of it, it can definitely give a nauseating smell that can induce a headache, which is why I do not spray this near the front. 7.5/10

SAMPSODX

I’ve owned this since 2019. For me this has a bit of everything. It’s a fougere, but it’s also fruity, then it’s also woody, it’s a bit citrusy, and also a bit smooth with the vanilla.

Cold nights out only, which is probably why it’s lasted me so long in a warm Australian climate.

razorsedge

I love it!
Spicy cinnamon and sweet fruit. Not cloying. Reminds me of Spicebomb and Stronger With You Intensely. Some "evening date night" fragrances of this accord might feel out of place outside of these situations, but I really enjoy having a spicy frag like Wanted By Night that is sort of universal.
Longevity is also good, lasts better part of the day on me.

Cholera

Fruity, citrusy with cinnamon notes. Good for cold weather only, night outs or dates. It smells nice and sexy, i feel like it had potential but unfortunately it is overly sweet, synthetic and headache inducing.

justinmartini314

At first, I wasn't blown away by this one as it kind of just smelled like a fall candle to me. However, the more and more I smelt it the more I warmed up to it and eventually bought a bottle. It really is a cozy comforting smell that puts you into the fall/winter mood. I think this is a great Christmas scent as well. I like how it isn't a room filler either. Sometimes room fillers aren't the most wearable in most situations but this one is a nice and tame whilst having decent longevity. The cinnamon in this one is gorgeous and is definitely the star of the show. Overall solid. 8.5/10

yyswear2

Beast mode. This is the perfume with the longest duration of my collection. It's a very beautiful, very fruity and sweet fragrance, it looks a bit like an oasis-type fruity drink. that's what he reminds me of. It's really a very beautiful fragrance, really very understated (few people wear it) that lasts for days on the skin (at least 2 days on my neck). One of my most complimented perfumes, no doubt about it. It could have been one of my favorite perfumes if only the bottle wasn't so ugly…. You can smell the tobacco at the end of the liqueur's life, it's very beautiful. 10/10.

Spicy Grape Soda

auztie

Smells like lavender apple to me. All I can think of is apple when I spray this. Tends to give me a headache. Smells CHEAP. Never got many compliments from this one. Definitely don't blind buy like me! 6/10

dibsr97

This was a huge let down for me after all the hype it gets. I was really keen to try this predominantly for the cinnamon, and I get none of it. Good thing I only picked up a sample.

It's overwhelmingly synthetic, sweet and fruity. Tough to pick apart notes - all just sort of muddles together to create a generic bubblegum like scent. Perhaps the mandarin/orange stands out the most. Lacks any complexity and depth on my skin. If there's other stuff there, it's extremely faint and not balanced.

Has a similar sort of sweetness akin to One Million - if you're into that, you'll enjoy this. Not for me.

storif

Best fragrance in my whole collection. Fuckin delicious.

Scentinal 1971

Much lauded by the fragrance community, I purchased this several months ago. I have a few Azzaro fragrances including Pour Homme, Shine (which I adore wearing when it's sunny weather) and the rare but unique 'Visit'. I was so looking forward to receiving Wanted by night only to be genuinely let down by what, to my nose at least, is a headache inducing uber-synthetic treacle of a scent. I guess that the 'wanted' line is Azzaro's 'crowd pleaser' group of fragrances, but to me it lacks refinement and has a heavy, thick scent profile out of which I can discern absolutely none of the notes listed here! despite several attempts to 'like' this fragrance, my bottle remains 99% full and is in a box awaiting sale to anyone who can appreciate it!

NibloSenior

The fragrance that started it all for me
At first I thought it smelled like laundry detergent
Then like pure lavender
Now as my nose has matured more it is an amalgamation of many different things
It's almost like it doesn't know what it wants to be
Sweet fruity and spicy
Perfect for a date night
The performance is not as good as I've heard but it's permissible as this fragrance is phenomenal
Opening is sex in a bottle
But the dry down can be a syrupy kind of fruity smell
8/10

don00

cant decide if i like it or not, the cinnamon makes it a bit weird for me, and for a 'fresh' fragrance i think i would reach for other options

DiorSasauge

it smells really great, however the performance is terrible, my batch is from 7 months ago, it does last long on my skin, however it just does not project at all, its their on my neck whenever I rub my finger trough it after 6-8 hours, maybe you’ll project a feet for the first 20 minutes, but after that its a complete skin scent

hananiah

I wasnt really into it and lean more into SWY Intensely (and bought Intensely).

I still like Intensely but can see myself purchasing Wanted by Night also (but probably wont cause it will be redundant) if nothing is available. I just dont like the drydown. Intensely or even Freeze got better dry down to my nose.

If i have to choose definitely go with Most Wanted EDP or Parfum wayy better choice (both are really hard to find)

Marssade

You' re ready to take a ride on your car...Black shirt , blue jeans and your allstars leather shoes...Put on your gloves and then rock this scent!!! Good to go ...

Maybe I got a bad batch. I didn't mind it initially but the dry down really turns nauseating on my skin, like rotting fruit or something and I still stank of it the next morning and had to wash it off. Other people seem to like it, so maybe I just got unlucky?

MrClean#4337

This is one of my favorite out of my collection. It’s pretty strong every time I spray once in my room my room will smell like it for a while. I think this is a really good blend of notes in my opinion. I can see why people say it’s bad but in my opinion it’s just so good.

pakistanstar

Well Oil Beef Hooked. Turns out you can make a great fragrance for cold weather and nights out without an overdose of amber or vanilla. And that's awesome. I can work with that. Everyone needs something spicy to keep their girl on her toes. I know you enjoy my aquatics sweetie but sometimes I need to shake & bake. Azzaro deliver that here only this time the moisture is coming from the feeling of stripper glitter. To each his own I guess. My girlfriend said the same thing when she dragged me to a topless bar but all it did was rev her engine even more. She gave me a sweet high 5 later that night as she was drying off.

dantek121

If you have 40 bucks and want to smell great, maybe even garner positive attention from women, look no further. It smells a bit similar to YSL L'Homme EDP imo so I kept that one over this, but this is a great scent.

Tevin96

Bought this for $39 usd and it is worth twice as much. This is a masculine but aquatic scent profile that everyone around me enjoys. Longevity and projection is a no brainer.

zenki

Got this for $79 AUD/100ml. Smells great, longevity is long. Kind of smells like SWY intensely

Ckipper0

I enjoy the drydown on this fragrance, but cannot stand the opening.

Very synthetic, extremely sweet, and almost nauseating.

This is not for me - I regret buying the full bottle. It may work for some people, but out of every cologne I own this would be the first to go.

Ryanjkim

@SgtButtCheeks honestly

caylemoore56

Currently $60 for 100 ml at ULTA, both IN STORE and online. No brainier. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Miggens

It has that stinging axe bodyspray type of scent after the drydown which I dislike. Longevity is 6+ hours for me. Quite generic, yet masculine growdpleaser, but overrated.

SgtButtCheeks

Ok nostril guy....hating this cologne doesn't make you any cooler or get you any closer to being a fancy boy.
It smells absolutely delicious and everyone seems to love it....male and female.
Get off your high horse and smell it. Try it. Wear it. See if you get the same reactions I do.
It's the best of the Wanted branch on the Azzaro tree.
It's fresh from the first spray and holds on to a lot of that opening when it dries.
I've had it on for 5 hours today and I'm still getting excellent projection so far.
Never believe the negative hype on a cologne.
Trust your own nose.

Yamato42

I don't get all the recent hate comments on Azzaro WBN. This is an amazing cologne and is hyped up by every fragrance youtuber out there for a reason. These haters smell tobacco mixed with fruity accord or something and get upset over it like that doesn't blend well, which it does. 9/10 cologne for me.

atticus1990

Bought this as a blind buy by YT recommendations, and really glad I only bought the 15ml size cause this is trash. Literally smells like a trash can with old tacos on a hot day.
Dont get many of the notes except cumin, leather and slight tobacco. I also agree with some people here that it has a slight bo tinge to it. Would never buy again, understand why its been discontinued.

If you want a warm spicy winter fragrance V&R Spicebomb Extreme is a 10x better option.

Poccha

Definitely a delicious & sexy night fragrance. A bit playfully fruity sweet. You must like fruity sweet scent to like this. It's fruit-y, cinnamon-y, spice-y sweet. For those younger playful gents, definitely. I like it!

GaldermA

Amazing stuff. Actually have to admit it a little too high projecting for my taste. I have a full bottle available. Send me a message if anyone wants to do a trade.

Lee257

A beautiful fragrance with strong notes of cinnamon, tobacco, leather and lavender

Projects well and lasts for a good 8 hours on my skin.
This is a compliment getter that won't be confused for anything else

Azzzerrrrr

Not my most complimented. But the most complimented by attractive women. Great experiences with this one. If i could only ever keep one fragrance it would probably be this. I love it. Great performance too

vikipetrov96

Azzaro wanted by night edp is lovely Aaromat but I have a problem the smell lingers on my skin very little 1.2 hours I think Azzaro wanted by night edp has been reformulated Batch code ABU70EG Date of manufacture 2021-07 Age 1 year 7 months 24 days.

denizinanc

A warm fruity cinnamon fragrance at a good price, can't go wrong. Projects well and lasts long, simply perfect for the winter. Definitely recommended, especially for students looking for a reasonably priced winter fragrance.

BigLongNose

Cinammon and fruits. Really good stuff and for that price you can’t go wrong with it

Scent: 7.5/10
Uniqueness: 6/10
Compliments 8/10
Wearability 6/10

SmellGr8M8

Delicious cinnamon based perfume that's perfect for winter.

Scent 8/10 a little rough in the opening. However turns into a delicious dark and delicious scent in the drydown.

Longevity 9/10 pretty damm long lasting.

Projection: 7/10 above average

Overall a perfect scent for colder weather!!

lukemitch

I think this fragrance does smell very nice. It is my first from the Wanted line. For me, it projects moderately well for about an hour and then immediately fades away to a skin scent— this is not a strong performer at all. I would say it performs slightly better than the One EDP and I would wear this casually personally. If you want this to last long at all you can’t be a sissy sprayer and maybe add some ISO E Super and ambroxin in there. I wouldn’t pay full retail but for the discounted prices I’d say it’s worth it.

Rogerant

I still prefer this to the most wanted tbh. Uts sweet thick and spicy so much more to my tastes. Only wear this in the winter though it's perfect for those cold winter months.

[email protected]

It’s not very good. I think it’s a hype beast because Azzoro took a chance and added some cumin which is not a typical designer note and people like the packaging. To me it’s a surprisingly sub mediocre scent that doesn’t really make a statement. I’m surprised that so many YouTubers love this one. There may be some group think at work here. It’s the citrus I don’t like. It smells of a peach body spray you would buy at bath and body works…not refined at all. The cinnamon is there but it smells of a body spray; very one dimensional with no scent curiosity and it doesn’t connect to anything, it’s just cinnamon with no refinement. And then there is the cumin which again doesn’t seem connected to anything, you just smell cumin and that’s it. Overall, this fragrance smells poorly blended with a cheap smelling citrus accord. It very much reminds me of clone house fragrance that overdose two or three accords to market to younger consumers. “You’ll smell like cinnamon and peaches and you’ll be dangerous like a gun.” This fragrance sheds new light on a YouTuber I respected.
Edit: I’ve been wearing this for a few days trying to make sense out why so many like it and it keeps reminding of a fragrance that has almost nothing to do with this fragrance dna and that’s Mancera’s Instant Crush. It’s that peach jam accord that just won’t stop. I sprayed one on my right and the other on my left and asked my wife what she thought and she thought one was a flanker of the other…I don’t like instant crush either so I may be an outlier as that is also a very popular fragrance.

Plutomantis

It was a good perfume at the time of its release, there were very few middle eastern houses that were providing quality perfumes, but now, I don't get why you would purchase this. Too sweet for me, 1 million prive is better than this.
Smells synthetic in the opening and turns to a fruity bubblegum scent, I never liked bubblegum scents (this is why I dislike hawas). It costs 42 $ where I live, but I can get better perfumes like khamrah/dareej/rare carbon for 15$, why spend more on this ?

Robotnik19

Azzaro Wanted Eau De Parfum has just been announced and you can bet they already have Parfum version planned for next year or the year after. Combine that with the super popular “Most Wanted” line and the declining sales of Wanted by Night in retail stores and you’ll get the eventual discontinuation of Wanted by Night. Obviously not now but I’m willing to bet money it’s coming.

belgiopokilo

It's too sweet for me :(

Johnnyboy123

Nice smell but atrocious projection

svm729

10/10 I’m in love!

Lhomme_Juanco

This fragrance is absolutely beautiful. The right amount of everything. Nothing is polarizing or saturated. It’s fruity sweet with that robust tobacco note that gives it more sophistication and manly-ness. Very unique for whatever you’re wearing it to. The best I can describe this fragrance is a smoked pineapple with orange that got so ripe and then someone got a tobacco candle and lit it next to the fruits and just took a big sniff of the 3 things. 10/10 fragrance.

EpicFragrances

I saw everybody talking about this fragrance and how bang for your buck it is and I do agree, it smells amazing and unique (Definitely for cold weather). The second reason I bought it was for the performance people said it had, But for me it only projects for 1-1.5 hours then it kind of fades into a skin scent. I don't know if it's my skin or my batch but for the projection period i get it smells hella good.

Longevity: 8 Hours
Projection: 1-1.5 hours
Sillage: Strong
overall: 8/10

410RudyRuuu

i had this on and my best friends mother told me "you smell so good, i want to suck your d!c%"

we're not friends anymore

100/10

NewToySmell

I like the opening smells good sweet. I just wish it could last longer or be more powerful. Im guessing thats why they made most wanted that one is super good and 1 spray is strong. For me personally I do around 5-6 sprays for wanted by night and it would last around a hour. After that hour someone has to be real close to you and probably smell it. 6/10

hussrahal

Modern masterpiece.
Still the best Wanted, TMW and the TMW Parfum are great but this is more unique and less cloying.

King of the line.

oatmeal_hoarder

Got this as an anniversary gift. Fantastic in my opinion. I've gotten compliments on this one the most out of any fragrance I've owned. The fruitiness can be a tad off-putting to those who don't like very strong scents on the opening, but it dries into a lovely scent that stays on for as long as you need it to.

waff13cak3

This is currently one of my strongest projecting colognes. It starts off very spicy and loud, then settles into a nice woody scent. The projection doesn't die down too much on the drydown either. Definitely wouldn't wear this if it isn't cold outside. As with the namesake, I wouldn't wear it in the daytime either. Only at night.

TheComedian

Wanted by Night was one of my first “good” fragrances, so I waited a long while before reviewing to make sure it was worth the hype and not just a generic sweet crowd pleaser. I’m pleased to say that this is indeed really good stuff, especially for the price.

Its sweetness is offset by spice notes so that it doesn’t come off as too cloying or sticky sweet, as many gourmand style fragrances do. It does have that generic “sweet cologne” note in the opening, but it dries down into a very pleasing masculine aroma in short order. Performance is great on my skin and while projection is good, it’s not an aggressive room-filling sillage, which I appreciate. I’ve found a few of these modern men’s fragrances tend to gas you out due to whatever fixatives they’re putting in there today.

Overall, Azzaro Wanted by Night is an excellent evening and date night fragrance for fall and winter, and perhaps cooler spring days as well. The price is great, too, and while the newer Wanted flankers have gotten a lot of hype lately, their higher price tags still make Wanted by Night an easier one to recommend.

evertonnick3

Awesome bang for your buck. I’d recommend this for somebody on a budget that’s looking to get into darker colder weather fragrances. It does smell a little synthetic at first but the mid and dry down are very nice. I wish I wore this more often… Note to self: wear this more often.

LostSock

Way too sweet for my liking, doesn't seem to have any complexity on my skin either, it doesn't change from the overly sweet/synthetic opening.

This is easily the most highly rated frag I have that I just don't get the appeal of, in fact it's one of very few I actually dislike. It's highly generic and smells incredibly similar to dozens of others I've tested. Half of the Police To Be line smells like this stuff for example.

I like the bottle though. That's about it.

d2blepeace

Azzaro Wanted By Night is a successful flanker to Wanted (W) and it is more versatile than The Most Wanted (TMW). Wanted by Night is sure to be a night fragrance but it performs weakly during the cold Winter. I will wear this one to hang out or date during Spring and Autumn evening. However, it can also be used during the cool Summer night.

Firstly, I am deeply in love with the bottle design. The concept of Wanted's line is bold, unique and attractive to the eye of a collector. Totally in love with it!

Wanted By Night starts with a fruity, sweet, fresh and powdery scent. I can recognize orange, fruity notes, some spices and lavender. It somehow reminds me of original Wanted's opening, which I also adore. But WBN is a little bit darker with subtle sweetness of orange and powdery of the lavender.

15-30 mins, the cinnamon appears along with the woody notes and cumin. Cinnamon is not too woody or heavy on the spice but it is dark, powdery and comfortable. These accords remind me of incense powder and dry tree branches.

The scent on my skin becomes darker and darker as time passes but after about an hour, a sudden appearance of the sweet accord surprised me. The sweetness is not cloying but it is balance and masculine. The cinnamon still presents along with the benzoin, earthy cumin and leather.

I'm pleased with all of the notes and stages of scent in WBN, unlike the drydown stage of W and TMW which gets me headache everytime. Wanted is crisp, bright and sharp while Wanted By Night is soft, dark and flexible. I think that ladies can also wear this scent, just don't use it during the day.

The projection is strong within 3-4 hours and I'm still testing the longevity on my skin.

Afc_Croatian

Wear this fragrance when you want to smell pretentiously sweet, this is a bomb of cinnamon and fruits, I can’t lie that’s the main reason I wear it. I know when I overspray myself with this I’m gonna turn heads at the grocery store….

9/10

Depapi

It’s difficult to find a winter fragrance without vanilla and this one is done nicely. I didn’t enjoy it at first but the cumin note grew on me. It kinda smells like a warm berry pie with a hint of cumin. I would rebuy.

LeonidasMadazee

Personally, I think it's alright. Definitely has a strong sillage and presence, as the first time I wore it I could definitely tell people were able to smell it, even from a fairly decent distance away.

Not really my favourite, as I feel like the Incense & Iso E Super smother the Lavender, Orange and Vanilla present within the perfume.

Definitely good value though.

Scentsibilities

This is one millions upgrade in designer form. The different reviews on this are intriguing I actually disagree with the many who espouse this to be a youthful scent. Its playful but not youthful this is a man about town scent in a bottle the mix of cinnamon and fruits gives of a boozy accord the tobacco adds a smokiness in conjuction with the incense. The lavender and citruses aswell as the iso super e provide cleanliness to the composition.

The sexy cumin gives this musky tad clean but dirty scent which is compelling then the vanilla and resinous benzoin make it warm.Ive always had wow reactions from this then again I am usually well dress and indeed a man about town.

Anasparfums

I like it , better than armani stronger with you

Zactel

The more I wear this, the more I realize how great this smells. Performance on me isn’t the best but for how low you can find this at discounters it’s worth smelling great.

EmJay87

Somebody below said that this would be great for teens and young adults - I completely agree. My first thought at first sniff was "I would have worn something like this after PE/gym class" haha.

It takes about 10-15 minutes for this to dyrdown and become less of a generic teen/young mans fragrance and more of a "good" fragrance for an adult man over 25, but even then it just has the very reminiscent feeling of something a really young person should be wearing. A mix between body spray and shower gel type scent. After smelling and wearing better designer and niche fragrances, smelling this feels like a step backwards.

I wouldn't wear it, but it doesn't smell bad at all, so I'd consider this a good value fragrance that you could gift to someone young instead of letting them walk around wearing stuff like Lynx/Axe body spray haha.

But like those young man body sprays, tell them to go easy on the trigger - this could very easily be oversprayed and choke out anyone within an arms-length.

HansyBarts

Great scent. I really like the cinnamon and lavender scent on this one and it is a safe fragrance to wear in winter months. In my experience, I like wearing this for movie nights and cold afternoons. Very comforting. 9/10

Mhthefragrancelover

Smells really nice but nothing very overwhelming. Even though this is a nice scent, I feel like it is actually rather generic. There's a lot of stuff on the market that smells like this, and I doubt this one does it the best. Again I don't mean to down on the scent, but I just feel if I smelt this in a crowd of 100 people I'm not going to automatically go oh my God that's Azzaro wanted by night, I'm going to say ooh that smells good, it smells like something I've smelled before. I noticed everybody talking about the top notes and it gets nicer in the drive down, but I find it rather linear. You just get less of that fruitiness after it dries down, and more comes out. If you're new to the fragrance game, this is one worth having in your collection, but if you already have a collection built you probably don't need this.

thejeffinator

I really like this scent. The most noticeable notes for me are lavender, fruits and cinnamon. when I smelled the tester at the mall I smelled mandarin orange but my batch doesn't seem to have as much. Either way this is a sweet spicy and fresh scent all at once. I really like it and I think it will be my new signature scent for a while. I strongly recommend this scent.

Canem_Nasus

Yes, the opening on WBN is pretty intense with the artificial "fruitiness". But if you're a fan of cinnamon notes, or vanilla the dry down on this cologne will be right up your alley. Once this settles down, it's fantastic. And the longevity is superb. And I think there's just enough of a peppery note to balance out the sweeter smells. This is definitely a Fall/Winter cologne, best suited for the night. Reminds me a bit of Boss Bottled Intense. It would be a great date-night scent. No resprays required. In fact, I'd venture to say you wouldn't ever want to go past 3-4 squirts. Any more than that and the cologne can become overwhelming. I'd agree that there is certainly a synthetic vibe to WBN, but not in the dry down. And as with most colognes, the dry down is (usually) what people smell when you go out into the world.

JLockett1313

A amazing scent I’m in love with… to me this is a date night or sexy winter scent… grabs women’s attention aggressively! Last as well!

Porsche9!

From tester this was Fruity and Cinnamon-y. Unfortunately when I got a full bottle i became anosmic in matter of minutes. Real shame as to me this was really good scent and I really liked it and couldn't wait to get it. When I get whiffs of it it smells nothing like from the bottle and it's missing that very fruity note. Real shame but I read someone else had same experience.

Also performance is really weak with my bottle... 3h tops which is abysmal.

Edit: Looks like the dry down is more tobacco and the sweet fruits disappear. Shame as that fruity scent is what I love the most.

guigsy1986

Sweet and spicy cinnamon bomb. Christmas in a bottle

gxbjw

I mean, this is alright. I don’t hate it.

But would I buy it? I guess not.

Wanted By Night opens very bright, almost fizzy like Sprite. Which confuses me because I honestly thought it would’ve smelled creamier and more pungent based on the note breakdown.

I agree with the reviewers below me — it surprisingly resembles Invictus a lot. I don’t detect any benzoin or patchouli. The fruitiness overpower the tobacco, vanilla, leather and other notes.

Again, I don’t despise the fragrance. It smells decent, but I just don’t know what the fragrance is trying to be as it seriously lacks identity. As a 27yo guy, I definitely don’t wanna smell like this. Especially considering the bottle and the note breakdown don’t resemble the smell at all.

I infinitely prefer The Most Wanted. And TMW has better performance too.

Pass.

kye.0

Just a warmer Invictus extremely overrated

südənim

If you want to smell like a church.

When I first got this I liked it, but as time goes on I find it a little off putting. The cinnamon and fruity notes work well together and it's what you get up front but when the incense comes on, it overpowers everything else. I don't get any of those base notes listed either, it's just incense heavy so don't overspray. Could have been blended better. Amen

Scent: 3.5/10
Sillage: 8/10
Longevity: 7.5/10
Versatility: 4/10
Uniqueness: 6/10
Value: 7/10

Where to wear: winter, cooler nights out
Faux pas: not for the summer or any warm weather, not office friendly, too aggressive for date nights

walterkondor85

Well this one was a hard miss for me.. someone way below said thos smells like caramelized invictus and it kinda does, a lot of cinnamon and fruity notes and mostly that is all and in the far drydown tabbaco which is not the greates interpretation anyway. My wife likes it, my friend like, I'm just looking at it and think of my bottle of SWYI which is better, No Limits which is better and others in my collection.. I don't know man.. and I also go anosmic to it pretty fast so I can't even freakin' smell it on myself.

Dolce Gabbana Enthusiast

I tried it a long time ago but when I smelled it, it reminded of those red cinnamon flavored jelly beans. It's alright, imo The Most Wanted flankers are better but to each to their own.

Domthebomb

This is awful. I personally hate this fragrance and would not recommend to anyone. Annoying to the point where it gives me a migraine. Just not for me.

thefragranceguy

Wanted by Night was the fragrance that got me interested in fragrances. Which is funny, because at the age of 24 I only started by journey a year ago. So I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur, although my brother thinks I have a pretty good taste (or nose) because he and I work in the same office, so he always catches whiffs of what I'm wearing for that particular day.

The cinnamon isn't actually too heavy. It's elevated by some citruses, lemon being the main player. But this isn't the sickly sour/sweet lemon that's found in the original Wanted. This one takes a back seat, letting the cinnamon/orange take front stage. This is perfect for the winter, or as the name implies -- the night! The strength of WBN isn't a 'f*ck me this is strong' type fragrance, but it does have some decent horsepower. So be aware, if you overspray, you may just say 'f*ck me... this is strong!'

This to me is a well blended, well balanced scent. It's not too spicy, nor overly sweet like some over colognes. Which makes WBN decently versatile, in my opinion. Meaning, you could probably get away with wearing this in the office, as long as you take it easy with the sprays. My only gripe is that I wish there it dried down to be more vanilla-y. Currently when it dries down it becomes faintly green and the sweetness completely disappears. But a very nice scent. Ideal for younger boys and even older men I think.

adams554

The performance is definitely solid; however, the fragrance itself smells cheap. I've had some compliment me on it, I've had some say it wasn't good. For the price you can get it for on retailers, though, it's not bad. If you can afford something else, though, I wouldn't drop your money on this.
