I hate this. Blind bought and I’m so thankful it’s only $20. If you like an opening of pinesol and a dry down of pencil shavings with talcum powder thrown in, you’ll like this I imagine. I can taste this perfume long after it’s been sprayed. I don’t detect any fruit notes, no complexity, just a fragrance that would burn your nose hairs off. To be fair, I would say this is a near-perfect dupe of LVEB by Lancôme. 98% to my nose. And I think that’s the worst scent ever created. Please believe the “this perfume reminds me of” section. If someone wore this, I would assume they were 10-15 years older than their biological age.

I describe fragrances in all five senses ❤️

I ordered this last week and it arrived yesterday - after the typical woah first spray I tried it again today and I absolutely love it. I'm non binary and always on the look out for unisex scents. The plum shows through and is quite strong, but it settled into a lovely fruity vanilla spicey scent. This is Intense. With a capital I. But I really like it. Definitely a cooler weather pick.
First impression dark plum cotton candy and vanilla-ish vibe is what I am getting so far. Reminds me of something of bath and body works would create.
I was smelling it off the side of the decant that I bought. I guess they get it on their fingers when the dispense it into tiny bottles, so it was on the outside.
Sniffing point blank it smelled very rich and strong off the side of the bottle, so I thought that I would smell it strongly waving it in the air towards my nose using the sample card I made but it didn't.
I don't smell it much in the air but I do smell it very well point blank. So maybe my nose is nose-blind from smelling to many fragrances lately.
I sprayed some about 4 sprays on my chest and I don't much smell it. I suspect other people would be able to smell it but I can't evaluate it because I hardly notice it.

I'm looking for a good plum and this is.
Here the plum is in the lead, the note is easily recognizable. The scent is sweet but not exhausting. Elemi gives this a good, strong peppery kick that turns that feminine sweetness to the masculine side and the beautiful combination of vanilla and praline brings it back again and again ... a fascinating unisex scent. Not genderless, but rather multi-gendered, if you can say that.
This is quality stuff, I recommend.

i agree with most of reviews in regards of opening, vanilla sweetness etc, but at least on my skin it last for an hour or so. and then very soft and i would say masculine type scent with nothing really special in it. I took it for the opening sweetness and thought it will last longer defo. some disappointment

Beautiful sweet scent in a beautiful dark bottle. LVEB in a better, deeper, and more oriental version. One drop is enough to smell praliné, vanilla, surrounded by a discreet jasmine bouquet. Last for hours, sorry I should say for days... There is something like gold, gold powder, summer joy. The dry down in darker, I guess the patchouly melancholy.
I read: synthetic ? I don’t feel so. But I guess they didn’t press cocoa juice to get such a beautiful chocolaty vibe.
The job is very well done, and I really enjoy the scent.
Edit with time something happened : it became sour and acrid. Weird.

REVIEW - Dazzle Intense by Al Haramain
This currently overlooked, previously hyped fragrance is a jewel in my collection. Although it's been not this easy to understand the complexity of this fragrance and summarize it like I just did.
What does it smell like? Smells Purple. If the color purple was ever a perfume it'd probably be this (amongst others). This is sophisticated and sexy at the same time. Both dark and bright at the same time.
TOP - This gem from Al Haramain starts off fresh. It has the notes of Ginger and neroli. Although this isn't zesty. It's just fresh and sparkling (compared to whatever is going to show after it). The notes are subtle like much of the composition and very very high quality.
MID - The top lasts about 3-4 Minutes. And immediately the Citruses start giving way to more velvetier and softer components of this fragrance. It becomes more and more mysterious. The blending is on a level of the craft that you can't pick a note out that easily.
The main notes that I could pick are Tuberose which is very subtle but provides this smooth bed for sweet deep caremalised Praline and the smoky dark Plum. There are still some citrus elements left from the top though.
All in all sexy sweet and smoky.
DRYDOWN - As most fragrances go from top to the end they get thinner and a bit more straightforward with their composition. But this isn't the case with this one.
This one becomes more and more complex, rich and deep. It has one of the most evident transformations and note changes that I've witnessed.
Vanilla gets more and more prominent, alongside the same smoky dark smooth Plum from the mid. This is the sexiest part of the and also the longest lasting one.
The composition adds a bit more oomphiness and darkness to itself thanks to the Patchouli note. The Oris provides smoothness and maturity to the fragrance all in all providing a very unique and intriguing multi-fauceted olfactory experience.
PERFORMANCE - 8-10 Hours Longevity on skin
Good noticeabe projection for 2-3 Hours.
Incredible Siliage - If you spray it in a room it's going to stay there for hours.
Power packed performer!
EMOTIONS - Sexy, Mysterious and Dark. This is playful enough to not make the mood dull but commanding enough to let the next person know you're in charge.
Very intimate. Has a gothic touch to it.
USAGE - Unisex. Ages 20+. Perfect for dates/romantic settings/night outs. You'll smell different than anyone else. You'll get noticed.
All year around scent except Summer days.
A small shout-out here too Fragboy Stevie here. One who introduced this gem to all of us years back. Now my second bottle and only now I'm able to review this complex gem. Wishing a quick recovery to Stevie!
Also, props to Al Haramain for another winner and another great packaging.

Very Praline/sweet plum opening... dried plums. The patchouli is soft and I do not really get any floral notes.
Gourmand fragrance for sure. VERY SWEET. Good sillage and longevity. Has
La Vie est belle's vibe. Nothing exceptional, what's not to like for $20 on Amazon!? Plus you can layer it with a perfume in need of some sweetness :)

Good to see that this is finally on Fragrantica.
I initially learned of Al Haramain Dazzle Intense a couple of years ago when YouTuber FragBoy Stewie highlighted it in a list of great budget perfumes, and after blind-buying it myself on the then-active US Notino site at the time, I've been singing its praises ever since, not because it's superlative, but because it's an obscenely rich and interesting fragrance for the price.
It's dominated by plum, with hints of vanilla, citruses, patchouli, musk, and a vague floral vibe, though orange blossom is the only floral note I've heard associated with the fragrance. The experience is one of plum first and foremost, followed by vanilla, and then a sort of white- and yellow-floral mix. It leans gourmand without being wholly gourmand. Likewise, it feels floral without being inarguably a floral fragrance. One might more ready identify this primarily by the plum and vanilla only.
Its performance is robust, well above average as far as both projection and longevity, and more than sufficient for an all-day cold weather sort of fragrance. I might opt to wear it on a summer evening but it's primarily a fragrance that works better in cooler weather, at least for me.
For me, it's a like, not a love, overall, but it's a strong offering and merits inclusion in any list highlighting great perfumes that are also great deals.
Currently its standard (only?) 90ml bottle size is available on both FragranceNet and FragranceX for just under $30, roughly the price I paid for it on Notino some years back, though the price, of course, fluctuates with stock on the discounter sites.

Not sure how I am. The first to review this as fragboy stewie reviews this a long time ago. It's a good one. Def a unisex that leans toward the feminine. Plum and vanilla dominate as smell soooo good. Lasts a good long time on my skin.
