I really liked it! My sister got this, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The smell is very fluffy and girly, smell like marshmallows, fruits and creamy vannila and milk in such a subtle way! Very feminine honestly, the perfume isn't very intense or mature so its perfect for younger people or to gift to teens, a very good perfume!

reag123

i got gifted this perfume for my birthday. One thing i can say is that i understand why a stronger 2.0 is invented. Do not get me wrong the smell is lovely and feminine but it’s very short lasted for this price point, there are many you can find for EVEN cheaper with the similar feminine smell that will last and others can smell and compliment you on

Zahrababy

This fragrance is such a gem. It's so feminine and classy. It smells like marshmallows and it's light and fluffly like whipped cream, it smells sweet but not too sweet and ozonic (watery/cold/fresh) that's the best way to describe it. I think this perfume is very versatile and everyone likes it. 100% safe blind buy, I actually blind bought this myself and I'm very picky when it comes to fragrances but this one I really enjoy

Danziger

It's one of the nicest women's fragrances I know. I always pay attention to ladies who wear it. Sexy, seductive. Of course I know it could be Baccarat Rouge 540 which is similar but I think it's Cloud. Classic purple Mugler Alien, Boss Deep Red and Cloud. The best scents I like on women

LePianoMan

I mean...while I can actually smell this one, it smells amazing. Nice fruitiness, bit of fluffy, creaminess to it as well. Don't really get much coconut, personally. I go noseblind to this INSANELY fast, even if I'm purposefully avoiding smelling it directly off my arm. I have another BR540 dupe - Thomas Kosmala No. 4 Apres L'Amour - and that also has that sort of synthetic candyfloss sweetness to it, although this has more of a creamy backbone and the Kosmala has more of a woody backbone. That one I don't go noseblind to if I just avoid smelling it directly off my arm, even though it's got nuclear performance.

This one, Cloud, I only really get half an hour to an hour of personal enjoyment of this, then I have to smell off my arm which then makes me even more noseblind to it. I think this is why people complain about this being weak or not performing, but this is just a perfume that you wear more for other people's enjoyment than your own, weirdly enough lol. It smells great but you don't get to smell it for long, at least if you go noseblind to this sort of perfumery easily which a lot of people do (allegedly, this is because of ambroxan). I could barely smell it anymore after just two sprays on the inside of my forearms, and my dad came down after two hours and said the entire basement and the stairs leading to the main floor smelled like whatever perfume I was wearing, lol. Not overpoweringly so, but noticeable as soon as he came down. That's insane to me. This is a banger performer just like the Thomas Kosmala, and I'll probably continue to wear it - just good to know that it's still there even if I can't smell it much anymore. Like the Kosmala, this will be two sprays max. Both of these are incredibly strong and any more than that is really just gonna be punishing for anyone around you.

I blind bought this due to the hype (and because you can find it for cheap), but I can't say I like it. Is anyone else getting something highly synthetic and almost plastic-y with this scent?

I want to like it, it has a lot of notes I enjoy and if I try to ignore the plasticy-ness, I sort of do enjoy this. I get a creamy coconut and a powdery lavender over a base that reminds me of a budget BR 540. This definitely smells inspired by BR 540, it's not a dupe, but the inspiration is clearly there. However, the plastic is relentless in this composition and lasts for the entire duration of the fragrance. Not everyone seems to get the plastic (obviously, since this is incredibly popular), but I'm just putting this out there for the other people maybe doubting their own nose when they smell this and think it smells really synthetic to the point where it impacts your ability to enjoy this fragrance.

ultimuffin

As a man who's had this fragrance for a couple years, I've honestly slept on it and not worn it as much as I could have. I believe it is a unisex fragrance (some say it's a BR540 clone) and would not bat an eye if I smelled this on another man. It's a confectionary/gourmand fragrance, so if that's your style, definitely go for it. Its top notes are more femme, but I only ever smell the top notes for no more than a minute. The vast majority of its projection are comprised of its middle and base notes, namely the vanilla/praline/musk/creamy vibes. I think this is more of a cold weather fragrance (thinking as a man) but it's subtle enough in its sillage to be pulled off in warmer weather as well. It has great value because of its longevity; I can still smell those middle/base notes after like 7 hours. Overall, it's a solid fragrance with decent versatility and performance, and if you're a man reading these reviews and wondering about it, I think it's a worthwhile buy

fromtiffanyxo

My work/school scent! Does everyone and their mother/daughter/granddaughter have this perfume? Perhaps. But who cares? Take it for what it is. A lactonic, vanilla + pear fragrance that you can wear for errands, the office, class, or any casual situation. I like to wear it alone personally but you can definitely layer this with another vanilla or fruity scent. Also pretty decent sillage/longevity too if you wear it with the right body wash + body lotion! An easy to reach crowd pleaser.

Emiliaaa

Is it me but I think Cloud is reformulated.. I have bought 3 clouds. None of them smells like it used to. Old cloud dna was sooo long lasting on skin and clothes and smelt sweet like cotton candy mmm yummy, ... but now It smells so weird..does not last even 10mins, smells like mans pefume.. Give my mum and she says that this does not smell like the cloud i had.

loverspov

I still have my 30ml bottle from 2018 and even to this day I hate it. Walk into any classroom I swear this is what you smell! I don't understand the hype for this it's not unique it's very suffocating and honestly gives me a headache. Has such a synthetic smell... a cleaning product gone wrong.

sandraaalindgren

I know this one is super hyped but honestly IT’S AMAZING! A creamy and unique scent that makes me wanna snuggle myself, definitely the best celebrity fragrance out there in my opinion. It’s a favorite!

fragwhore<3

I really don't give af about 540. this is its own scent. I loved this and basically destroyed the bottle my senior year of high school (I have a video of myself dousing myself before walking to receive my diploma lol). It's such a nice sweet fluffy vanilla scent. For just a girl, it was amazing! Later into my adulthood I found myself using it as a topper for my much more masculine scents and its honestly even better that way.

sweetcherie23

Smells like a vanilla fever dream and it compliments me so well! it just doesnt last as long as people said it would.
People saying this smells plasticly is shocking because it really smells like a soft milky vanilla its perfect for my skin chemistry as usually perfumes smell sweeter on me!
The price is great and is definitely worth trying, the dry down is better than the opening

I just got the body spray of this and it smells so plasticky. It isn't even lactonic, I could get over all of that but the plastic is just really off. Smells very generic and fades very fast. Was cheap so I'll use it here and there and on blankets etc. The plastic smell warms up a tiny bit but it still remains.

NoviceNoseImpressions

A less obnoxious version of the same cotton-candy-sugar spray that we've all smelled somewhere before, but this is still a very juvenile cotton-candy scent to my nose. Not much going on here. The kind of scent I'd expect 14-year-old boys to enjoy smelling on 14-year-old girls.

fragheadny

Screechy cheap cotton candy body spray. I wish so badly that I enjoyed this scent because I smell it, without fail, every time I am in a store or airport (and its not BR540. BR540 is far more smooth and tolerable to my nose). It has this weird plastic quality that reminds me of cheap body sprays I had as a child. I will definitely give it props for its performance, because it seems like it is not possible to NOT smell this on someone if they're wearing it. Everyone and their mother, aunt, and cousin wears this and it's just such an unpleasant and juvenile scent in my opinion.

Milleregretz

I've only smelled BR540 while walking by rich women but Cloud does smell quite similar. BR540s tween sister. Very sugary with a sort of burnt quality? Honestly hard to describe but I can't stop sniffing it when I wear it. Yuh!

Where to wear: going to TJ Maxx with your mom, crashing a gala and hoping no one notices you're from a lower social caste, your first internship

hysteria1988

Luckily I didnt buy this and I got a tester in store, I really have no clue what the hype is about this perfume, to me it smelled like some sort of bathroom cleaner, not sweet at all, I waited for the dry down and still... really quite unpleasant. Am I missing something here?

malake

Love this perfume, my only problem is that it doesn't last at all

Zeta MX

This has taught me that no matter how popular and hyped up the fragrance is, always try before buying.

I blind bought it, as a lot of reviewers were saying that it is a unique gourmand. Most likely will gift it to someone. It is way too generic - this is the scent that I have smelled practically on every second woman growing up.

Longevity is decent, and the sillage is good.

anaesthesiaangel

so unpleasant. one note, not even very sweet, definitely not gourmand. playdoughy and plasticky, and slightly generic “perfume-y”. this is so disappointing.

if you love delicious, sweet, sugary gourmands give this a huge miss. literally any other perfume is a better fit.

Jnh_fm

A sugary, sweet confection of a “perfume.” It has the lasting power of a body spray, so for the price point I would suggest going to your local Bath and Body Works and saving a bunch of money.

IMO, it has none of the complexity of BR540. If you’re here for a BR540 dupe, maybe check out the Fine’ry The New Rouge

honeymilkbee

This is a Baccarat Rouge 540 dupe with LOTS of sugar and less amber.

poodleParty

Powdery, lavender-marshmallow cloud. I love it, but my body mist changed to this weird plastic scent in a few months...💔 Maybe the quality of EDP would be better?

spiderdaisy

am i the only one who dont like this?
it seems really popular, and a beauty influencer i follow have this as his most complimentet perfumes.
with that in mind i had high exeptations when i tried this. on my skin it just smelled really off.
like some really cheap shaving cream for men with something sweet mixed in.
i also swear i can smell hints of pickle juice.
i asked my boyfriend for his opinion, he thought i smelled weird.

jhindsb

First impressions: I'm 13 years old again and walking down a boardwalk eating a huge sugary mass of blue cotton candy, the scent of powdered sugar and ocean salt wafting through the air. I wish it was more pleasantly nostalgic to me but unfortunately it's a little too synthetic and sickly for my taste, like I've gorged myself on too many carnival treats and wound up with a stomach ache.

Alloura

This smells like a cheaper BR 540 with a pinch of sweetness. I don't understand how they smell so much alike when they don't share any of the same notes. This isn't as sweet as I was expecting and I didn't pick up any cotton candy smell. It doesn't last at all on my skin, but left a faint smell on my shirt for a few hours. As cute at the bottle and holder are, the scent and longevity is very disappointing. If you're looking for a long lasting gourmand scent, look elsewhere.

michaljireht

Ari's Cloud is a delightful blend of sweet and salty notes, reminiscent of a mildly sour saltwater taffy. Its fresh and easy scent captivates from the first spritz, gradually settling into a smooth vanilla base that's simply irresistible. What truly impresses is its longevity; I apply it at night and wake up still enveloped in its comforting aroma. For its affordable price and widespread availability, it's a must-have addition to any fragrance collection. If you crave a scent that lingers effortlessly and brings a touch of sweetness to your day, Ariana Grande's Cloud is the perfect choice.

SweetPeaPea

Bought this as a man to have a cheap taste of that BR540 DNA. The name and presentation is fitting as it smells like cotton candy. It's a popular scent profile so you've probably smelled this on someone before.

GinkgoLeaf

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this incredibly popular perfume? Cloud is a crowd pleaser. It has great performance, excellent longevity on both skin and clothes, eye-catching presentation and is comparatively affordable. It offers a feminine-leaning scent profile that doesn't rely on typical candy or floral notes like many other perfumes do. It's a scent I always end up going back to that brings me nostalgia and comfort. It's popular for a reason and will be in my top ten for a long time, I'm sure.

contristo

I know I’m not supposed to love her but I just do. So fun, this is everything I always wanted B&BW to be as a kid. The lighter tropical/fruity notes are especially enjoyable - so many scents have such a heavy feeling to them. Gives the vibe of being the cool mysterious girl at the party not because you smell unique (you def won’t in this), but because the pleasantness of Cloud encapsulates your carefree energy. Cloud is for dancing on elevated surfaces. I haven’t tried intense or any of Ariana’s other scents, I’m curious about Ari as that’s supposed to be what you move on to after you admit Cloud is overdone (idk if I’ll ever reach that point though…)

OneSnifWonder

When you smell this, you're going to realize what that scent was you were catching on people around you all the time. Its super familiar/clearly popular - maybe too popular. Its a pretty scent but not unique.

Bakxa

Bought this a year ago and wasn't too excited about it,I decided it was overly sweet and juvenile for me (34 y.o.) so much so I was planning to declutter it as I also own Cloud 2.0;it seemed redundant to keep both.
Fast forward to now, early Spring 2024, and I'm glad I didn't give it away as I'm rediscovering this fragrance.
I get a lot of lavender and pear with a hint of bergamot harshness on first spray, then the whipped cream, sweetened by the praline, creeps in giving it a nice lactonic feel. It's incredibly creamy while also maintaining lightness hence the "Cloud"name.
The drydown adds swiffs of coconut and I personally don't get much of the woods and musk in the base,it remains quite linear from the middle notes on my skin.

A somewhat cold, sweet scent;there's a fresh, airy vibe, despite the praline sweetness that mixed with the lactonic feel just makes it perfect for spring.
I'm not too sure about longevity and sillage,I think I get kind of anosmic to it right away (ambroxan maybe?),but will get waves of the scent during the day.

danielenachem

As a man, I can’t live without this perfume. Ran out of it and repurchased a bottle immediately. I love to wear it to bed and around the house. It’s such a calming scent ro me, I can’t explain it but it’s really good!

astronaut

Pleasant, girly, fruity gourmand. Performance is alright, but I wish it was a little more lactonic on me (and that "baby's first perfume" reputation is little hard to shake).

anamawsity

Unfortunately not lactonic at all on me, it’s just a sharp floral. When I tried Cloud and Cloud Intense at the store, they smelled quite different, but on my skin they’re nearly identical. Cloud has a moderate sillage and lasts about 5 to 6 hours on my skin. I prefer Cloud Pink to both Cloud and Cloud Intense because it’s fresher and not as floral on me (at least at first, after 15 minutes or so it smells just like the other two). Nearly identical to Sol de Janeiro’s Cheirosa ‘68 and Burberry Her.

eva.daisy.88

This is such a pretty likeable fragrance. Sweet cream, coconut and lavender - very cozy scent, ideal for when the days are starting to feel colder.
On my skin it has a very moderate performance, maybe 2-3 hours. But that’s totally OK for the price tag.

Also interestingly similar to other reviewers, when I first tried it, I didn’t like it. But I went ahead and purchased a full bottle anyway - it was quite cheap at Chemist warehouse in Australia and I thought worst case I’ll just give it away to someone. I don’t regret that purchase at all!

krissiewissie

I got the body mist from TJ Maxx, bought it out of impulse. THE SCENT GAVE ME A HEADACHE.. I read online that the perfume was better so the following week, I went to ulta expecting something different, sprayed on a tester and it still gave me a headache . ( I did not care for the smell… ) Weeks later I bought a whole bottle of Cloud and I am addicted to the smell??? It did not give me a headache and I didn’t smell the synthetic plasticky headache inducing scent that I got with the mist and tester? I wore it to work and kept smelling my wrist throughout the day.. I LOVE IT! Very creamy and sweet, people say they can’t smell the pear or bergamot, that this is pretty linear in being lactonic and I think that’s partially true; when I smell the bottle straight from the atomizer it smells very fruity almost citrusy but when it’s sprayed it’s like it disappears lol but very sweet and gourmandesque, love it now!!

Zeddyteddy

I wasn’t going to buy this but I gave in. I’m far too old for AG and her perfumes (I know age is a number bla bla) but I had a tester from when I bought it for my niece and wore it in the evening before bed. My dressing gown smelt so cosy and my son commented on how lovely I smelt. I got home from work the next day and could smell it in my bedroom - must have been from my dressing gown. Once the tester ran out I was craving the vanilla, creamy, cosy scent so caved and bought it. I might smell like a teenage 40 yr old but I’m happy with that 😊

FlopperFragranceFantast

This is the perfect ultra niche sigma male fragrance, it smells exactly like my smegma remover. It is Soooo good, it so sexy, manly, sweet and creamy. I lost my 15 year edging streak to just the look of the bottle then I bustet for 24 hours straight to the smell. I recommend this fragrance for anyone who wants some more bitches.

windowsill

if i wasn't an old woman (24), i'd probably still wear this daily lol. i got cloud as a christmas gift in 2018 and i was hooked instantly. and i can defo smell the BR540 similarities when i got to test it last autumn.

vera.rnova

When I first got this I liked it, but now I don't wear it much because it's very heavy and sweet. Reminds me of cotton candy

dionnn

My guilty pleasure as a man!
Opens mildly synthetic but warms up to a delicious powdery sweetness.
Reminds me faintly of ambrosia or cotton candy.
Longevity and sillage fair.
I think its fairly pleasant and inoffensive but for my guys out there you might smell like you spent too much time getting ready in your girlfriends space. For better or for worse.

I can't get enough of this!

8/10 all considered

SublimeUtopia

I’ve had the body spray for months and still can’t quite decide if I like it (and the whole DNA of this scent family) or not! I like wearing it to bed after a nice hot bath. I feel like I can smell this everywhere I go though so I find it a bit boring and overrated. Definitely nicer than Zara red temptation though if you’re not sure which one to get. Kind of smells like whipped cream and bleach mixed together.

LisaJane97

This is so addictive. I bought both Cloud and Mod Vanilla. I actually prefer Mod Vanilla but honestly both are just AMAZING😍 and you can layer them as well. After 6 years, I understand why Cloud is so popular and loved by many plus a compliment getter 😇✨

Rainaflower

I don’t think I know anyone that has this perfume that it has not smelt good on. It is a friend circle favourite. I put off getting this for many years and not really sure why , considering I commented on friends smelling amazing for many of those years.

Though now that I caved and bought it, I wear it quite frequently it’s been considered my signature scent. I’m a bit of a celebrity fragrance junkie. lol
Britney Spears “fantasy” than “midnight fantasy “ have been my signature for many years.

It’s definitely a sweet, warm, creamy and dreamy scent it dries down to. Lavender,Praline , coconut , vanilla orchid , whipped cream and musk mmmmmm. This fragrance is very well done for a celebrity fragrance and Great snuggle up with your partner scent. 😍♥️♥️ Just in love with it!!

The longevity is pretty good and man the days it stays on your clothes for days.
My hamper has never smelt more amazing. lol😂🤣👍🏻

[email protected]

Great scent. Very unisex. Extremely similar to Mancera’s instant crush. Instant crush is louder and rougher around the edges and leans a little more masculine, but if you spray them side by side there is not a lot difference. I bought the body spray for 7.99. It’s really all you need for the BR vibe.

Itslex1

Does not smell like BR540. I don’t like it it smells soft and like soap. Not a rememberable smell just get the body spray.

zrgvrt.grj

This smells so bad but somehow I can't stop spraying it! Sickengly sweet and cloying, synthetic opening, medicinal coconut during the middle, and literal plastic dry down...but it's weidly addictive. I think it's because out of all my gourmand fragrances this one smells the most "neutral", the most easy to wear, the most unisex, the most versatile - I'm not saying it is all of those things, but compared to my other fragrances it is. Or maybe I like that the sweetness on this particular fragrance feels very "pure", like it's just sweet and that's it...if that makes any sense.

DustyMemphis

@BP777 , You're using it wrong, like with all fragrances, just 1 - 2 sprays on top of the shirt, it's your skin that's messing up the fragrance!!! Stop eating simple carbs!!!

@ozomene, Oh yeah, your nose is definitely broken, unless it's because you've had a bad batch!!!

ozomene

@Fenissa My nose is definitely not broken; unless you mean that neurological differences leading to a heightened and precise sense of smell, constitutes “broken”. And it would be pretty weird to suggest that a strong and analytical sense of smell is “broken” on a fragrance forum. “You’re too good at smelling things to understand why this scent is good” doesn’t really work.

Not that it matters, because I am absolutely not the only person who detects urine in Cloud.

A lot of bad things are popular, so I wouldn’t lean too hard on that argument. Usually, extreme popularity is a “least common denominator” thing, not a measure of quality. Like how junk food is popular because salt and sugar are least common denominators. Not because Doritos are actually great food.

I don’t deliver catty insults to people who hate a perfume I love, so I don’t get your defensiveness.

Fenissa

@ozomene your nose is broken. Cloud is popular for a reason and that reason is not urine.

dawnnyy

This smells like baby’s first baccarat rogue. Way more youthful but a lot less sexy and intoxicating. A great day time wear and a lot more “chirpy” than Br540 in a way

BP777

My very first perfume! Love the way it smells, but the longevity is just not not up to my standards. Definitley overspray if you want any type of sillage, like... 15 sprays baby

Gillzathrillza

Ehhhh…well, it’s alright.

It doesn’t smell exactly like BR540 (if you are looking for a dupe, Fragrance World do a great one or, you know, just buy the real thing so Kurkdijan gets his dues for his creation), but it’s in the same universe so I understand why people might opt for it.

However, BR540 is beautiful and this is not. At initial spray it was woody and skanky, then it moves to sweet and plasticky, then it fades. I didn’t enjoy the journey much.

I bought this alongside Ari and much prefer it for its sweetness and light.

I’m not sure I’ll wear this a lot and may end up giving it away.

korilakkupcake

ive drained a travel size and a 3.5 oz of this already LOL
the scent changes a lot on me depending on the weather or season but i always enjoy what comes out of it!
Some days it smells of soft and sweet and fruity marshmallows, while others it leans a bit more woody. Loved it for years!! Yay!

Weklund

This is the best thing i have ever smelled. I took it from my sister, eaven tho i am a male i love it with my heart

lavieenrose1987

Brand new bottle is giving straight up skunk musk. This along with Ari are massively disappointing in their brand new bottles, but I’m hoping time will make their real scents come out more. I have a decant of Cloud so I know it can be nice, but beware if you buy a new bottle.

yunapie

Not a hater of BR540 but when I was testing it in Harrods, I could barely smell anything?? Granted, I was also testing other cheaper perfumes, but if I'm going to shell out my left kidney for BR540, then it should at least be detectable against the other perfumes I tested as well. Cloud plays this disappearing game often too, but at least it's so much more affordable. I actually also find Cloud nicer smelling than BR540, and Cloud 2.0 nicer smelling than the BR Extrait. Even though Cloud is considered a dupe of BR540, I feel like Cloud outshines all the dupes of 540 and OG 540 as well, as I just prefer the sweeter praline and whipped cream/airy feel that Cloud has. The first time I smelt it on a tester strip, I was struck because it almost smells like electricity to me? If electricity has a smell?? But I went back again the next day and this time i fell in love with it.

@Catherine.love You should definitely layer Cloud with Midnight Fantasy if you love blueberries. I layered them together and it smells like a stronger version of Sweet Like Candy, and honestly made me roll my eyes back as if having an 0rg*sm. Only 3 smells can make me roll my eyes back, and that's Golden Decade Elixir (More vanilla and feminine than Libre Intense), Cloud/Cloud 2.0, and Cloud + Midnight Fantasy.

jenzel4381

It does smell similar to BR540, but I can tell the difference. I smell the coconut and the praline and the absence of saffron.

catherine.love

i’ve owned multiple bottles of cloud since it’s release and it is a very pretty scent! i don’t hate it or love it. i have a brand new bottle of it that i want to wear but i never find the right occasion or time to wear this fragrance, i think i’ve just got too many scents i would rather wear.
i like the scent but i find that too many people near me wear this (that shouldn’t be a reason to not wear a perfume but for me unfortunately it is) i smell it on someone every time i leave the house and the girls that wear it look and dress so differently then me, and it really does suit them but i don’t think i suit this scent
lately every time i smell this on someone i can obviously immediately detect it but unfortunately it doesn’t smell pleasant when i’m close to someone wearing it, it kind of smells like dusty old books and it’s just so obnoxious? idk i like the scent on paper but i just get choked out when near this. mod vanilla also has the same salty/dusty smell that makes you choke
i love the airy/fluffy dna this has on paper though just wish it stayed that way on skin

Doub

Very sweet teen girl scent, not to say it isn't good! It smells a bit synthetic at the start, but then it mellows out into a pleasant marshmallow like smell

LisaJane97

I tested in in a Douglas and the longevity was soo good! The paper smells like Cloud even after 3 days. Lasted longer than the other Ariana Grande Fragrances I tried, though I also like Sweet Like Candy and Moonlight. Cloud is actually a magnificent scent ✨ Delicious, interesting, alluring smell. I might buy a bottle on day 🙈😊

Bought a bottle of 100 ml in Dutch Douglas in Amsterdam. I can barely smell it, nobody smell it on me. Extremly weak, zero longevity, terrible performance.

moon-lake-nymph

Like blue candy floss, frosted with musky powder.
I've bought some serious high end fragrancess recently, but my boyfriend's eyes widened when he smelled this one on me.
High end perfumes can have a big statement to make and can end up feeling clunky and try-hard, tying themselves up in their own complexity.
Cloud is too laid-back and cool for all that - she's pretty, delicate. Effortless and cool.

Mhka2004

at first it seemed bad to me, I don't know why maybe because it has a lot of coconut (the coconut doesn't fade) but then I wore it several times and I changed my mind. Now it seems like a very sexy gourmand fragrance, I love it.

So cute and I love the warm cotton candy scent. I got lots of compliments wearing this from girls and guys alike, but I would say it's not so suited to someone with a sophisticated or mature vibe. Best blind buy in a while!

Bizzy1995

Definitely get the BR540 vibe but this is more loud, airy, marshmallowy, and cotton candyesqe. It is youthful and sweet. However it is more feminine leaning that BR540

perfumekiwifigorange

Gross. Tried it at the perfume counter and almost gagged. Very strong, overly sweet, like a toothache to me.

Tigi

I wanted to let y'all know that this is a very gentle fragrance; I'm sick with asthma at the moment but a few sprays of this didn't bother my breathing at all. A good option for the allergy/asthma prone.

dessiexe

An it girl scent!! 🩵
This is one of the most popular perfumes within the perfume community & def for a good reason. I automatically get the pear in the first spray & maybe the tiniest amount of lavender, I'm glad the lavender isn't potent as I'm not a big lavender fan. The whipped cream & coconut definitely comes out as it dries down, it's very creamy & lactonic! 🥛

The lasting power is decent I'd say, this was the first actual perfume I got & comparing it to my body mist I was expecting a lot better, however I love to layer my scents so that helps ofc. I wear this scent year round, during winter I pair it with frosted coconut snowball from b&bw & during the summer I pair it with at the beach from b&bw, so this is a great versatile scent! 🌊

My final rating is a 10/10 ofc. A very affordable perfume, so for the price I would for sure say it's worth it & it's great for any age. Blind buy safe if the notes look like something you would enjoy, I would def repurchase to!! ☁️

meama

Indeed very similar to BR540 but better, instead of the sticky melting plastic syrup of BR540, Cloud brings some fluffiness and air to create a cotton candy like effect.

atenedxo

Blind bought this as out of the few times I've asked random women in public what perfume they were wearing since they smelled so so good, Cloud was the answer & I am in loveeeeeee! I often saw it get compared to BR540 and was a bit sceptical about getting it since I'm a loud and proud hater of BR540 and as this fragrance does share similarities with BR, it's also nothing like it (meaning it doesn't smell like ass and gasoline). It's actually a very clean, slightly sweet scent, though I do mostly only get the whipped cream note more than others but it isn't nauseating or headache inducing at all. One con, however, would be that for the very first few seconds after you've sprayed it, it smells just like disinfectant, the very strong medical kind. However that isn't a problem for me since, as I mentioned, it goes away in a few seconds and after it settles it blooms into this very youthful and elegant goodness. I do own quite a bit of expensive and perhaps more complex perfumes, yet I find myself reaching for this one almost every single day.

Arcticmanatee

Ok so I (50 F) blind bought this because it had good reviews and it was $30 at Walmart. The more I wear Cloud the more I like it. Does it smell as sophisticated and complex as Chanel or Guerlain? No of course not, it was $30 at Walmart. Cloud has a similar scent profile to BR540 but it’s not a dupe. (I don’t like BR540). It’s sweet and comforting. Cloud smells like vanilla and it kind of has this mild plasticky smell that I find appealing. I find I like to wear it when I need comfort and don’t want to think too hard or be too much. Cloud just accepts me for who I am. On me it has good projection and lasts 12 hours. I can smell it days later on clothing. I will probably buy it again. It also dries down linear on me and I’m ok with that. Not everything has to be an olfactory trip through the heavens. I like to put it on at night after my shower and wear it to bed. This is an easy fragrance to wear.

pjofangirl2

Someone complimented this fragrance at work, but to me it smells like the sticky soda stained gym mats in a Chuck e Cheese :(

shasta

Trust me and save your coins. Zero longevity. Zero projection. So disappointed because I was wanting a dupe for Baccarat Rouge. This has an interesting, intriguing citrusy bergamot top note along with some marshmallowy sweetness. I just wished it performed better.

emeliyuh

My daily scent year round. Can be layered for warmer or cooler weather. Inoffensive and delicious. I'd also add that this scent is nearly identical to BR540. I smell it on customers all the time where I work and they're indistinguishable. Same beautiful scent for a third of the price. Men also eat this one up.

Slink

I heard this smells like BR540 and the few times I tried that perfume I really disliked it. I don't really understand when people say how beautiful it smells, so for a long time I just didn't try this one because I heard it was a dupe. But the other day I was surprised that I actually liked it. I tried it in the store on my skin and found it pleasantly fruity and cheerful. After little while when it dried down it started to smell the like the embers of a bonfire. But not in a terrible way. Maybe the smokiness is similar to BR540? But where I could not stand that one, this one I kind of liked. I don't know what to think of it. It seems everyone's reviews perceives something different from it. It's such strange concoction to me to start off bright and fruity and turn smoky for me.

Mhka2004

sweet, creamy, sexy but what you mix with the coconut I don't like at all (I don't like coconut at all).

bottle: 10/10 smells: 8/10 longevity: 10/10

jotakiepie

I tried to like this so bad. I really did. But every time I smell it I just cringe, I rly don’t like it. There’s something plasticky in the fragrance, and it also just doesn’t feel as feminine as I’d like it. Unique, yes, but honestly idk if it is unique anymore because I smell it on everyone 🤣 When I smell it on people I don’t even think “omg they smell so good!!”. All that comes to mind is “oh they’re wearing cloud or BR540, or Cheriosa 68”. So yeahhhh

deegan205

it’s a nice sweet scent that I’ve liked for a while but it’s started to smell somewhat plasticity on me, like a sugary synthetic barbie doll

vpace91

All in all, I like this fragrance. It's cute, girly, sweet, and modern. However, I'm just really tired of BR540-esque fragrances at the moment and the dry-down on Cloud is sooooo similar. I will be putting this one on the shelf for awhile and maybe revisiting it in a few years.

Soph.kerrr

even though everyone has heard of this perfume and isn’t original I apsolutely adore Cloude. It’s sweet but not overpowering and has a creamy undertone. In terms of long lasting I would say it’s a very good long lasting perfume however sticks very close to skin rather than wafting towards others. However maybe that’s just because I don’t put enough on! Overall I think it’s a great perfume and I have the 30ml one and it has been 10 months and I’m barely half way through it!

elibasade

I found this one smells so good on my skin and it lasts super long. It doesn’t give me a headache and I don’t smell the plasticky like some other comments state? I can smell the coconut, it is not too sweet, just a light, cozy, comforting warm scent. Great for layering, too. For the price, this is a great perfume.

supervanilla

I’m one of the people that makes this smell like straight-up plastic.

skzp.shops

Initially spray was light and sweet but the dry down smelled like wet seaweed drying on a rock in the sun. I loved it at first but the dry down reminded me of a musty tidepool on a hot day. If I lived near the beach i might've kept it as my "let's go throw crabs in a bucket" frag

miiilaala

i look at this as a classic must have. very sweet, marshmallow-like, and i don’t notice the coconut at all, thank god. used to be one of my favorites, i’d always get complimented when i wore it. would definitely repurchase again.

incensefairy

(This review is for the body spray and not the EDP)

I absolutely love this scent. I resisted trying any of the Ariana Grande line for a long time because I’m just not a fan of hers and I don’t usually like super sweet or floral fragrances. After hearing Cloud is similar to BR540 I had to try it, so I went for the body spray to get a feel for the notes. WOW. It’s creamy, warm, luxurious, velvety, and super musky. I just love the warm, smooth vibe it has. Definitely a repurchase, delicious and surprisingly elegant. It’s the opposite of how the packaging looks.

gecko_emoji

I couldn’t get past the opening, it may settle down into something nicer but initial spritz smelled like plastic to me, had to wash it off before it gave me a head ache!

NadiasmellsGorgeous

I resisted this perfume for a while because the citrus opening. It just didn’t sit well in me. I found a very cheap bottle at TJ Maxx, and thought I would give it a whirl.
I sprayed it and for the first hour- meh. But once the top notes dissipate, I love the dry down.
I read somewhere that layering this with a smoky perfume does well. I layered it with Replica’s Jazz club and it goes great.
I also found that when my wife wears her signature scent, TF’s Ebene Fume and I wear this, the fragrances dance together beautifully and we smell like a power couple.
I will always have a small bottle of this.

baddiebrock

This perfume isn't really what I expected. I don't really get any coconut and it's a but more on the masculine side compared to other Ariana perfumes which are really sweet and girly. The dry down is really milky and lactonic, with a hint of marshmallow. It reminds me of sol de janeiro cheirosa 68. Not bad, just not what I expected.

princessluco

I feel like it's the best type of perfume I've ever had for daytime use. So much so that I compare other perfumes I buy to this one because it's that suiting to me. All time favourite, 11/10.

_Rae_Rae_

This perfume is creamy and fresh to me, HOWEVER, it definitely leans on the synthetic side, it's a good scent and I still like it but this is something that really stands out for me in this fragrance. The opening is sweet, not vanilla like some are saying though. It dries down quite musky, which I really like, and at this point it leans a bit more masculine and less sweet. It lasts days on my clothes, on my skin it lasts about 8-12 hours, though it does sit quite close to the skin at the end. It's silage is pretty decent, the people around you will smell it, but no one will be smelling it from across the room unless you overspray (please don't do this).

jadepo21

I think I truly love this but I am still adjusting to it. It is one of the least linear scents I have ever owned. It starts off as something completely different than it dries down to. It opens sugary sweet and girly, but the dry down becomes far more complex as the lactonic notes meld with the musk. I get the allusions to BR 540, but it's not exact… just in the same wheelhouse. It is certainly unique in the celebrity fragrance world and I find myself intrigued by it. The bottle design is unfortunate and cheapens it. I removed the silly cloud bit and think it reflects the sophisticated juice far better.

cshar017

it smells like pickles to me 😭

K8lo

I had Cloud for a few months before I rehomed it. It is enjoyable, sweet and creamy. However that is also its downfall. Can become very simple & linear. Im not a gourmand fan so I couldnt keep it in my collection. Very young scent. Doesnt have much complexity to it, very vanilla. Doesnt last long and has poor silage. I absolutely loved the packaging though!! This scent would be wonderful for a younger adult or teenager who appeal to the gormand scents!

Waterqueene

I'm really surprised at all the poor reviews for this fragrance. I got a gift set for Xmas and it is getting used up fast! I tossed the body spray in my gym bag and I am really enjoying it after a workout. The body spray actually performs pretty well, but the EDP lasts forever on me. This one reminds me of Love's Baby Soft from the 70's and 80's. I don't know how many of you are old enough to remember that one but it was a classic. Cloud is gentle vanilla with clean notes - maybe the pear? I can smell the praline too; there is a nutty note that is tempting me to glue my nose to my wrist. Men go crazy over this one. I ran into an old friend the other day who hugged me, and he texted me later in the day to let me know my perfume was on his coat. "Yum!" In my opinion, this is a safe blind buy if you like Pink Sugar, Donna Karan Cashmere Mist, or Snowflakes and Cashmere by Bath & Body Works. I own them all and love them all but they are all in the same family. Happy New Year, everyone.

somatotrope

A more youthful BR50 without the medicinal dental note that steers many of us away from the original. Cloud is nice and inoffensive for the most part. Unfortunately I just can’t stand it anymore because this scent is absolutely everywhere. I was stuck next to someone wearing Cloud on an airplane (don’t do that) and it solidified how extremely weary I am of this scent. There’s nothing wrong with wearing popular scents of course! I just feel like the air itself smells like Cloud now and it’s started to turn my stomach. It can get really heavy in excess.

If you’ve been in a public setting any time in the past year, especially around teens, you have smelled Cloud.

PERFUMEPILLED

Is this….. salty? I’m sorry, I’m new to smelling perfumes, maybe I am mistaken. Maybe I’m a clown. But I don’t smell anything remotely creamy, sweet, or vanillic here. Instead, what I’m getting is….. salt and metal, or something like it. And one more thing— I’ve never smelled Baccarat Rouge 540 before, but I have heard that Cloud smells like BR540, and that BR540 smells like a dentist’s office.

This smells like a dentist’s office.

How is that possible? I didn’t even know dentist’s offices had a particular smell, but I guess they do. It’s the strangest thing.

Momoko13

Effortless. Creamy. Sweet..but in a fresh way. I like the description someone gave of it smelling like a dentist office. I actually really like that quality about this one.

Almost impossible to overspray. This is one of my all time favorites.

Yarapurple

I think that the perfume smells a bit like cologne ☹️ otherwise I love the package

Nadia Khouri

its amazing & very sweety , I don't know why after a while its scent on the bottle changed to a cheap version hated it.
also its over done , all girls smell like cloud

valentinarose

sickly sweet, linear, synthetic cheap smelling. moderate performance. may be suited better for tweens and teens just breaking into the perfume world. overly hyped, nothing close to BR 540.

saroraa

The most disappointed I've ever been in a perfume. After reading people online raving about it for so long, I finally tried it, only for it to smell like body odour and a cheap plastic toy being burned on the stove. Retch.

subtlyyours

It’s not for me, but damn does this last forever on clothes! I sprayed my wrist in Ulta literally two weeks ago and got some overspray on my coat sleeve. I just put my coat on and can smell it wafting from my wrist. Impressive.

Shan

I was eagerly drawn to explore this fragrance, fueled by my affinity for gourmand perfumes. Upon the initial application, the scent enveloped me in a comforting and sweet ambiance, reminiscent of a delicate, whipped cream vanilla fragrance. The olfactory experience, undoubtedly, deserves a solid 10/10 rating.

However, my enthusiasm was tempered by the fragrance's performance in terms of longevity and projection. In the initial hour, the scent is discernible, particularly when applied to clothing, but the disappointment arises when considering its longevity on the skin. Sadly, the fragrance's endurance is rather fleeting, lingering for only about four hours—a duration that falls short of my preferences.

Equally noteworthy is the sillage, which leans towards the intimate spectrum. While the scent is detectable on myself, the subtlety may leave others around me unaware of its presence. Even when I asked those in close proximity, their ability to perceive the fragrance diminished significantly after the first hour, necessitating a deliberate effort to notice it.

In essence, while the aroma of this perfume is undeniably enchanting, the ephemeral nature of its presence on the skin and its limited sillage might be a deterrent for those who seek fragrances with a more enduring and pronounced impact.

helloitsirene

Very sweet a first smell, couldn't really find the lavender but the pear and bergamot more. After a few minutes the praline really comes in as well as the coconut. It has a sort of milky vanilla depth to it that I like but I think it's more suitable when you're younger. Gave me cotton candy vibes at first.

Need to try on skin

FeleciaB

By all accounts I should love this (other then the coconut) but I do not. It reminds me of when we had to dissect pigs in elementary school, the smell of the formaldehyde. The dry down is slightly better then the initial spray but it just makes me feel neasous. Selling my bottle for sure. I've had it a couple years and only wore it once, tried it again last night and still don't like it. My husband said it smelled fine but it's just not for me.

Cloor

Very sweet. I love sweet perfumes, but this one is a little sickly sweet.

As a cheap-perfume enthusiast this was a bit over what I usually like spending on perfume, especially considering it's lack of staying power. It's not an expensive perfume at all, I just hoped it would distinguish itself as a 50€ as apposed to the 9€ I often enjoy.

Overall not a bad perfume, although my expectations were certainly too high.

Ihatecords

It’s one of those perfumes you just get sick of after a while. It might be because it reminds me of the time I was in the psychiatric hospital, but it’s just something about it that smells cold and sterile.

catina

I really love this one but it’s so lite. Sweet fluffy has an airy vibe.

rea.cb

I blind bought this a year or two ago because I saw soooo many people raving about it online and I was not impressed. I wore it once or twice and then it sat in the back of my closet, where I found it today and decided to give it another try; still not impressed. It's not BAD per se, it's just not great, and certainly doesn't deserve the hype it gets. To me I just get a sweet, synthetic marshmallow-y kind of scent. No pear or lavender or bergamot or wood or anything like that. It's not very appealing to me, but I don't dislike it. I think it smells a bit too young for me, though, and that's coming from an 18 year old. Way overhyped.

Addisonc802

This has to be one of the most overrated perfumes I’ve bought. It’s ok, its not Amazing like everyone speaks about it. For the price your getting a pretty mediocre water down soft vanilla it lacks depth to it. Very young smelling. The musk and woods notes are barley there and the longevity is lacking heavy. I’ve worn it maybe 3 times, i always find myself reaching for other perfumes and body mists over this :/ i was very disappointed. I will say its very beginner friendly and for people with a sensitive palate and not looking for something strong and complex this is for you. Personally it just wasn’t my thing. Stop comparing this to Baccarat Rouge 540 it’s Doesn’t smell like that at all lol.

tamovicha

Both this and the body spray are very close dupes to baccarat 540, but these are much more fleeting and linear. Also, whereas baccarat has a warming quality, this is definitely cooling imo, and ozonic, maybe its the fruitier top notes. This also doesnt have the dentist-y effect that baccarat has in the beginning.

vpace91

I haven't tried BR 540 yet so I can't make any comparisons there, but I have heard it compared to Dream Moon by Pacifica. This is much more complex and pleasing than Dream Moon, in my opinion. The whipped cream note is real! And I'm a sucker for pear. I think the hype for Cloud is deserved.

cheirosahrt

the og that started my love for perfumes especially vanillas! Cloud smells literally like a cloud, or how I think a cloud would smell, it smells like vanilla and very soft!!! Cloud is like cheirosa 68 without the floral or a faint floral!

SarahPepper

Oh no :( I really wanted to like this scent but it smells like straight up butane / burnt plastic to me. I usually agree with the viral/popular fragrances but this is a big no for me.

elmos

it's good I get a really nice sweet vanilla coconut musk but I hate one note in it and I can't really tell what it is but I hated it. I got the body spray bc it was on sale as well and it was literally that exact note that I hated straight up.. nothing else from the perfume, do NOT get the body mist if u wanna see what this smells like fr. people say it smells like burberry her and I randomly got a sample of that and it smells EXACTLY like the body mist NOT the perfume (which is why I hated burberry her) also it lasts FOREVER and everybody can smell it I would give it an 8/10.. it has people asking what you're wearing, it's that good but I just hate that one note me personally

Gabbycrit

My first ether blind buy and honestly it isn't good, I don't like it at all, it can be very nauseating and also not long lasting at all, I doubt I would buy again, it's a very cocunut vanilla slight musk scent that's nauseating and it does have that plastic synthetic smell, 5/10 perfume

kittywhiskers

To my nose this smells just like BR - maybe a tad bit more on the sweet, synthetic side, but only minimally so. I was obsessed with this scent when I bought it a year and a half ago and could not get enough of it. Even though I knew it smelled like BR, it was such a unique and yummy vibe to me and it was all I wanted to wear. This is exactly what a COOL GIRL smells like, I thought to myself. So groundbreaking, made me feel warm and toasty while also giving me lots of confidence. Reminded me of if By the Fireplace had a scent baby with Not a Perfume. Now, some time later... I am hesitant to wear it for the sole reason that I do not want to smell like everyone else. I still love it so, but feel like I've grown out of it already somehow, even though in reality I've maybe only sprayed it on a maximum of 10 occasions. Perfume is my own way of expressing myself and my personality, and so the last thing I'm looking for in a scent, as a woman pushing 30, is to smell like every other 16 yr old girl out there... no offense. But I still love the scent and don't find it to be all that immature, as others have noted, as the marshmalloweyness blends well with the woodsy notes. It lasts all day and is pretty affordable. Overall I give it an 8/10

alissakurowski

I've had this, it's not my favorite Ariana perfume. I like the lavender vanilla but it has its purpose. I don't know if its a dupe to Baccarat Rouge, but I want to try it out. I haven't repurchased this but I did use up my bottle. Its okay, but I don't enjoy smelling like everyone else. I do love Ariana's line, this is one of my least favorites. It is Vanilla, coconut, creamy, its meh... If its Lavander you want, maybe try R.E.M instead. If its Pear, try God is a woman. If its bergamont and musk, try Mod Blush. I don't think In the Stars smells like this, but I suppose you could pear them together. I am going to purchase Mod Vanilla instead of this, next time, but this does have its place on someone's shelf.

Tissla

I really wanted to love this based on the description, but to me it smells absolutely nothing like that. It’s nice and sweet in the opening for maybe 10 minutes, then it lands in some kind of peppery masculine scent that in no way resembles vanilla, coconut or creamy. It smells the same when sprayed on clothes and on my husband as well, so it’s not just on my skin. It suits my husband better than me. I’m baffled as to how people can recognize anything sweet and creamy in this. I regret not reading on Reddit before I blind bought it, the reviews there are far more nuanced than here and many people seem to have the same experience as I. My advice: DON’T blind buy this.

maisie13

I adore this fragrance and it’s been one of my signature scents now for years, i always seem to come back to it. It’s a delicious creamy marshmallowy gourmand scent but is still fresh, light and fluffy, fits it’s name perfectly. It isn’t overly sweet or cloying so can be worn year round. Great price point for the performance and is very reminiscent of baccarat rouge 540. Super safe blind buy as it’s pretty universally loved, for good reason! girly but still feels ‘grown up’ and has a cleanness to it despite the creamy gourmand profile

katiesimpsonhair

I love this perfume and I was curious to see the difference between Baccarat Rouge 540 so I ordered a 2ml sample. They smell nearly identical. B540 is a tiny bit more woody and masculine but only by a tiny bit. Cloud is sweeter and more addictive. I’d say longevity is around about the sane. I was going to splash out on the B540 but I’m now ordering a second larger bottle of cloud instead after comparing the two.

swansong444

This is a very inoffensive, gourmand yet clean scent (if that makes sense lol). Great for everyday wear if you like perfumes that are sweet but not too cloying. Love the lavender note and the drydown is gorgeous, similar to Baccarat Rouge 540. I usually wear it when I’m abt to go to bed after an everything shower because it’s just so soft and feminine. Obviously you could say it’s basic bc it’s Ari, but this is definitely one of her best. I wouldn’t say it lasts very long but the projection is relatively good. Slightly overpriced but I still love it.

Halcyon0409

First of all, I love many popular perfumes, I think they deserve the hype and I enjoy wearing them. That being said, there should be at least a touch of uniqueness to your fragrance- it should make you feel special. But Cloud is just everywhere, that it's basically impossible to smell unique while wearing it. Not only is this perfume everywhere, but the DNA of this perfume is in so many things because of the BR450 hype. I think BR is nice, but not nice enough for people to go this insane over it. Regardless, Cloud just smells like a simplified, juvenile version of BR. I feel like the thing that makes BR special is the saffron and the sandalwood, but that's gone in Cloud, so it's just pretty boring.

808dizzy

I don't know why but as soon as I sprayed it, a strong isopropyl alcohol smell hit me. But 5 minutes later, holy moly. Sweet saffron, honey, sweet, cotton candy accord. Beautiful, very sexy. Do I smell br540 on this? Definitely. Not as complex but still pretty good.

faerieblues

I bought this for my daughter because dry down smells like BR540. That's it, doesn't even come close to the complex smell that is BR540. My daughter wears this.

ldanitaaa

My favorite, so playful and girly. A very sweet smell that always gets compliments!!

PomanderSniffer

. This was one of the first perfumes I received when starting my perfume journey a few years back. I was excited to try it after hearing it smelled like BR540, since I didn't have a store to test BR540 at near me. I was... disappointed. It's too synthetic for me, and smells like cheap teen perfume. Immediately, I felt like I was back in an Aeropostale or Abercrombie & Fitch mall line on a busy 2014 weekend, damned to stand next to the noxious perfume display as cashiers struggle to keep the line moving. It was headache-inducing.
. Hearing that people describe this perfume as "sweet" is shocking to me; sweet notes were undetectable, as the rest of it was too overpowering to look past. I accidentally got some of it on a difficult-to-wash sweater and then avoided wearing it as much as possible; unfortunately for me, the scent *never seemed to fade.* It has great sillage and is thus a very easy scent to smell on others and identify.
. I did later travel a distance to a mall with a friend to try BR540, and while I thought it was similarly disgusting (I found the experience nearly identical), my friend absolutely loved it and couldn't stop raving about it-- so maybe my nose is just the problem here.

. I couldn't return it because it was a Christmas gift. I felt slightly pleased when I dropped the bottle and it cracked, so I had an excuse to be rid of it.

BadMongoose

A lady at work stopped me and asked to write on paper the name of the fragrance i was wearing. Said that she always smells the trail but was too shy to say anything. It was the OG cloud. Never gotten compliments when wearing cloud pink.

MomGodess

Clean girl vibe with a sexy twist. A girl (in my case a 40 years old) in soft cashmere sweater with one shoulder out. White/golden mug latte. Next to her is laptop and a Stanley cup.
Young and sexy without trying too hard. Layers fabulously with bum bum cream and Rio 62. Get this combo.

Finally a scent without face full of patchouli. Also last longer than Baccarat on me. Don't full yourself that you get more for 250$.

Love the pricetag too!

incantava

It's sweet then turns fruity. Everyone wears this though so that made it so common for me.Sillage and projection is very poor. I guess I like it but it's too young for me

lanadelreyy

YUMMYYYYY just like baccarat and the 62 rio perfume. its very popular for a reason, its a crowd pleaser and very feminine. i need to restock ASAP.

OtherRaylin

Yall...I swear I smell pickles, a slight hint. Stale floor cleaner, coconut and pickles. I really don't like it.

elvawenn

Got a decant of this to try and upon first spray, it was awfully synthetic and plasticky. After letting the decant sit for a while, I gave it another go and this time smell the sweetness, coupled with an off-putting plastic note. After about 5 minutes, it turned into something faintly sweet. I think I'm starting to become anosmic to it. I have to put my nose straight to my wrist and elbow to smell it, and from what I've heard, this perfume can perform. I don't think I'll purchase a full bottle.

Mlly_Ch

babyshrimp

I got a very alcohol-y, cheap scent.

It is cheap, and I think it's a little immature so I gave it to my little sister who loved it.

Vanillamuscdream

When I first tried this, I didn’t think it was similar to BR540 at all. However, later on I was walking around shopping and kept getting little whiffs of it, until I remembered that I had tried cloud a couple hours prior lol. It’s a lot less complex, but still pretty similar. I don’t usually go for celebrity fragrances but it’s pretty nice.

monamushroom

This is synthetic, juvenile and veeeery sweet. It is creamy, yes, and blends nicely onto my skin, but it is not a scent made for me... It is long lasting, and it is crowdpleasing in a way, because it is a profile you can smell almost everywhere you go.

I am probably late to the party with this one, and too new in the fragrance community to actually know BR450, so I can’t really compare them in that way.

QueOndaGuera

It’s cute and youthful. Fluffy and sugary but woodsy too. It reminds me of In the Stars from B&BW. Personally it’s not my jam because I’m in my 30s and this reminds me of a perfume I’d wear in high school, but it’s not an offensive fragrance. Just…past my time lol

Sarra816

Its not a bad fragrance if you are looking for something within the same family of Burberry her, br540, etc. This type of scent is everywhere but this version is very juvenile and doesnt last long. It also leaves behind a trail of incense/tobacco in the dry down which feels so plasticky and even more synthetic than the opening. Not to mention, I dislike the unnecessary plastic on the bottle.

d34dt00n

It's okay, smells kinda cheap, but it is cheap. Smells better than some other celebrity fragrances. Great if you want to smell like an upper-middle class pre-teen Insta-baddie. Smells like walking through Sephora.

muskylover

If you've ever said to yourself in a fit of rage, "I will smell like sugary fruit, or I will smell like wood!", then this perfume is for you. If raw sugar and pear were cooked over a wood fire, that's what this perfume smells like. It is fruity sweet and deep woodsy at the same time. Not the generic rubbing alcohol scented perfume I bought in my last blunder at the perfume counter. It definitely has an aroma of its own.

Ashleyunique

I am on my 3rd bottle of cloud. It’s so good. Sweet creamy if you’re thinking about getting it DO IT! It last for days on clothing. Very affordable and doesn’t smell cheap.

BalladsOfViolet

bought this for my cousin as christmas gift and i used it for like 5-6 sprays—

the thing is, the scent isnt really that memorable and it’s rather weak, doesnt leave an impression ( at least for me )

so the conclusion is- its boring.

katiesimpsonhair

This perfume smells like its name, cloud. It’s not thick and heavy but it’s light and creates a nice soft scent bubble like a cloud. It’s sweet and a little bit sexy and seems fairly strong. It’s a good everyday scent and it’s also quite a comforting smell. I love it and it’s such great value 👍

annamal

For me it smells like Always period pads...exactly like this with a tint of nail removal. Bleh

fumongous

I just don’t get the love for this one. I think it’s very bland, very synthetic. Unfortunately I smell it EVERYWHERE. Apparently it’s fans don’t mind smelling like thousands of other people. Waiting for people to move onto the next thing, hurry please!🙂
Thinking it may be awhile….this has become the new Coco Mad.
And I agree with reviews that mention this smells like chlorine. And garlic.

cflatorrev

To be honest… it’s nice but for the price… you can get better Baccarat Rouge dupes for half of the price and they are not so synthetic smelling like this one. Recently tried Barakkat Rouge 540 from Fragance World and it’s way better and cheaper. Paid 20 US dollars and you get 100 ml.

RoseG

alright so I smelled this perfume in a store and well…I thought I will absolutely love this perfume by how hyped and popular it is everywhere. But no. I absolutely do not like this. I don’t get it actually. It smells very synthetic to me, almost plasticky. It’s I guess that kind of fragrance that you either love or hate. And I hate it. Sadly I wanted to love this as much as everyone else but it’s just not for me.

Shahudi

I’d say this is her best fragrance .

madecel

I want to like this so badly but something about this perfume makes my nose shrivel up

Aquapinkmoon

If the performance was better this would be my favourite perfume of all time, it’s juicy at the start with the pear, sweet with the praline, coconut annd whipped cream and something is also very clean in this maybe the lavender note. So pretty, purchased after smelling on a friend and it smelt AMAZIMG years ago and have worn it as an everyday scent since, I just wish it lasted longer

lotuskiss

the opening has that off putting bandaid medicinal scent but i still like it, it’s a very “cold” perfume and is very screechy in the top notes. the dry down however is great. i’ll definitely keep the OG cloud in my perfume rotation albeit not often; cloud intense is miles better as it’s creamier and has much more of a warmness to it
cloud 2.0 >>> OG cloud

Rockwinn

This is a good "standard" in my fragrance wardrobe. There's nothing weird or unique about it, it's just sweet. It's another perfume I'd get for a young woman just starting on her fragrance journey. It's not hard to wear and I do occasionally get people who recognize the scent and tell me that they love it too.

error9900

Seems some people get some really weird notes out of this... Sure, it's not some fancy exotic frag, but it smells f'ing delicious to me for a simple, summery gourmand. (Nice in the winter as a simple pick-me-up.)

sprailey

if you are like me and take negative fragrantica reviews with a grain of salt, this is the first time ive felt like.... dang maybe i should have listened LOL

by no means is this a bad perfume or smth that smells offensive, but im just not getting the same effect as the people who love this. to me this isnt very gourmand or lactonic as it is just, synthetic sweetness? i put on a few sprays and the opening is heavy on the alcohol smell, but once it dries down i cant really identify any note in particular other than just... sweet, maybe a touch of coconut but really it's just kind of a generic sweet smelling perfume. i feel like i will have to give this another try bc i think the perfume i was wearing from the night before might have gotten reactivated in some way and is throwing this off a bit, but a lot of people are calling this a love it or hate it type of scent and right now im very solidly in the middle feeling kinda meh about it

Kitty88

My obsession for about 10 years was Vanilla by Urban Rituelle which was sadly discontinued several years ago. AG's Cloud is the closest thing I've been able to find with similar notes of Vanilla, lactonic, sweet and powdery. It's a "no bells and whistles" vanilla scent. Lasts an ok amount of time. I wouldn't call it a complex or sophisticated perfume, just a simple vanilla. If you're looking for a milky creamy vanilla scent, try Cloud. I personally love it! It's my go-to perfume for every day.

Astrum.Obtutus

Great gourmand for summer.

InfirmièreParfumée

It must not go well for me owning Baccarat 540 Rouge and this perfume at the same time. I also have a colleague who wears Cloud and she wears so much of it, it is so cloying and makes me think about how this perfume wants to scream, "I want to be an identical twin to Baccarat Rouge 540!!!" but there is just something very artificial about Cloud that tells me it is not what it wants to be. I spray it on my towels before I roll them for storage.

It is more a high school kid scent. Even the bottle design is very juvenile. AG could have left that annoying cloud base and just shaped the bottle into a cloud. A cheerleader would wear it but not the school principal. Therefore, this is ideal for teens and early 20s who do not want to smell like they secretly went through Mom's stash and chose a random fragrance (which happened to be Estée Lauder's Youth Dew!). Definitely a fragrance for the day, at the beach or during a warm summer day.

Overall, it's an OK fragrance to own as a part of the celebrity fragrances shelf.

sabs1205

Dream in a bottle! You either love it or hate it, apparently. And I LOVE CLOUD!

I love ariana and although I may be an “arianator”, I don’t base my opinions on her perfumes due to the fact that she is my favorite singer. I go by my nose. I know what I like and dislike.

Cloud gives me that airy lavender vanilla creamy warmth with comfort, feeling exactly like I’m on a cloud. For $65, a 3.4 oz is legit a steal. The “synthetic” smell comes from the whipped cream and praline, but it’s not overpowering, if you like those scents.

This is my go-to when I’m feeling sad, or any sort of way. It’s my favorite affordable perfume that lingers on the clothes lightly for a good 3 hours and then hits you again later on. The projection is perfect. Not too light, lot too strong. Love this perfume!

elvawenn

I bought a decant of this hoping to be able to at least wear a BR540 DNA without getting a rubber note. I've never tried BR540 and from what I can gather after trying BR540 dupes like Zara Red Temptation and Armaf Untold, I get strong rubber smell from saffron. Since Cloud doesn't have it, I figured it must be safe. Nope. Right from the get go, I got this thick, rubbery smell - like balloons that we used to blow up as children. Makes me gag. The only "dupe" that doesn't have the rubber smell is Burberry Her, for me, but I heard it's not really a close dupe.

saria131

i wanted to love this so bad. i sprayed the body mist and it smelled like straight alcohol to me

PurrballKitty

I usually don't mind if a scent is popular and a lot of people wear it. I even like it if I smell a perfume I can recognize and I love it even more if someone wears the same perfume that I own, too (for me it means that we love the same thing).

Well, it's not the case with this one. It never happened to me before, but I started to dislike this scent, because I smell it everywhere. Literally everywhere. I can't go to classes, shops, grocery stores or even travel on a bus without this scent filling the air. It's so annoying.

markerpop

A very juvenile scent. It stays on the skin for some time, but the scent is sickingly sweet and sour to me. It smells like those cheap lip glosses you'd get as a child.

nomi00

It's cute i guess.. It has a fun, airy, sour vibe. you can wear this everyday since its kind of an all round pleasant juvenile scent. it does give me beach lotion vibes with a bit of metallic undertones but its still nice

florence.flower

I LOVE it! I wear this perfume almost everyday. Smells VERY sweet like you just opened a bag of marshmallows. It’s powdery and dainty. This perfume definitely goes well with my body chemistry, as I am warm and this just melts into my skin and makes me smell intoxicating.
by the way, it smells like alcohol first, but just wait a few minutes and the true scent will waft into your nose.

kaitlinag

Very easy to wear perfume. Sweet and powdery. Soft. Blends well with the detergent on clothing. It does have that hospital smell - especially when you first spray it - but I don't mind it. That just makes it more interesting to me LOL. It makes it lean more sharp and airy rather than sickly sweet. This perfume could have been nauseating but it's very fresh (in a milky way). But it's still v sweet so I can't wear it in the summer.

Vmich

It’s ok, kinda reminds me of the gooey child’s makeup you’d get when you were younger in Barbie packages or dress up sets. I caught more of the pear, whipped cream and coconut on paper, but on skin the bergamot opening and metallic scent just sticks around. I’m glad I checked this in my skin cause it just does not smell good that way.

ju3tnn

Not my fav, but good perfume. I would definitely recommend if you want to start creating a collection and want a good beginner fragrance. + A way more affordable version of Baccarat Rouge. It really does smell like it!

vildeska

I love this creamy, soft, vanillic perfume! So easy to wear and very inoffensive.

Dove.k

I love this perfume very much, now that i dont have it, i still have the bottle and the box. Whenever i want to remember the smell, i just take the bottle and the smell is there. When i used to spray it everyday, my clothes like jackets, shirts smelled like this for so long, even after washing them. Of course the smell is gone since i spray other perfumes, but anyways, my whole closet smelt like cloud..10/10, i will probably buy it again someday.

Leolia

I do not get the hype????
I pick up something metallic in this and it’s nasty on both skin and clothes.

Deliza1997

Sweet, little fruity, little froral cotton candy perfume. It smells so synthetic but still I kinda like it specially in the air
Has Good longevity and a moderate sillage. But is this a BR540 dupe? I disagree It maybe in the same family but not the same. I get more creamy vanilla. No ambergris, and saffron which are the main components of BR540 scent profile and creates It's distinctive smell. I can also sense little bit of aquatic going on in the background. It's a okay perfume but if you want to buy it as an alternative to BR540 definitely you will not get the full experience.
For Good BR540 alternative just grab some Middle Eastern clones.

Featherblossom

I don't understand the hype of this. I tried spraying it in Boots and it's vile. The cheapest, most plasticky thing I've smelled in years. 🤢 A nauseating, synthetic, plastic coconut that made me feel like gagging. I'd be embarrassed to spray this on myself and go out in public.

If you're looking for a cheapie, there are way better options out there!

I guess the juvenile bottle might appeal to 12 year olds who don't know much about perfume? But the smell probably puts them off ever buying another perfume, so... 🤷♀️

SJBergamot

When I sprayed this on my wrist and asked my daughter to smell it on me, she seem perplexed at first and then said, "Smells like pumpernickel." I was like, NO way, you're crazy. But she's right. This is hilarious to me and I want to know if anyone else had this experience. For the record, I like this perfume and feel it's a safe one to wear everyday. It doesn't compare to BR540, and I feel those types of comments are very misleading. They're just in the same scent family, perhaps.

kristenboris1997

An additional comment for this one. Its my favourite of all Ariana Grande's perfumes. In regard to the annoying design and unnecessary extra plastic added to the bottle, I discovered by accidentally dropping the bottle onto carpeted floor that the stupid plastic base comes off. Just so you know if you didn't already. This one seems the strongest and nicest of all her scents btw.

konga5

People are sending HATE BOMBS into this ............ I smell a rat.

Laurisse

Smells like spoiled sour coconut, and like an unwashed salty body.

sullymato

I used to like this, but god damn. Literally everyone and their moms are wearing this or some kind of BR540 DNA. You can't escape it and it takes the allure away.

NikaKulig

Great scent. Smells like a coconut whipped cream with a little bit of floral note to it.

Dani83

I absolutely love this fragrance it smells so laconic and cozy with a hint of coconut this will always be in my collection I love it 😻

AZGirl79

I really love this stuff. It’s so easy to wear anywhere. Very soft, feminine and airy. Good for any season. So odd how everyone’s noses are so different. I don’t smell any plastic or chlorine in this at all. It’s soft, lavender, pear and definitely coconut. Beautiful for any age.

imogenaw

A couple years ago i bought it, and i really loved it but now when i smell it it smells like chlorine and musty.

loverstigmata

Makes me nauseous

courtneyyyyyyyyyyy

some of her other perfumes i’ve tried are way too sweet and synthetic but this smells like a pretty creamy pear(?) and coconutty vanilla, luckily for me none of the synthetic /alcohol / plastic on my skin , it lasts and projects okay but can’t complain for the price , just don’t wear around the perfume snobs 😂

GirlOnFire

Chlorine and alcohol. Truly one of the worst things I’ve ever smelled.

Glammzy

I just received cloud in the mail today and i was beyond excited cuz of all the reviews, THIS SMELLED LIKE PURE ALCOHOL to me maybe i dunno if there’s similar experiences with this fragrance although i got it from fragrance net as i always do but i was so disappointed and i dunno if it’s just mine or there’s someone else who experienced this as well, please let me know

RottigrlNYC

Garbage. If it was free I wouldn’t want it . Ppl who claim it smells like BKR540 need to get their noses cleaned out. They’ve lost their mind. This crap is NOTHING like the beautiful and amazing BKR540

7na

It smells good on my friend but just smells like bleach on me :(

warmcashmere

Smells like bubblegum and cologne. I don't understand the popularity!

Sajawa

I heard good things about this perfume so was interested to try. I hated it. When I first sprayed it smelt like chemicals. Reminded me of chlorine and left a burning feeling in my nostrils. When it had sat a little it smelt a bit better. However the final lingering smell was that of a dirty ashtray.

el8880

i love ariana but this perfume is a tiny bit overrated

wintersnow7

Cloud is very soft, pretty, and youthful. I smell it out and about all the time. It's very commonplace, but pretty nonetheless. It pairs beautifully with the Sol de Janeiro 68 lotion or Lush Sleepy lotion. I love the lavender note. It creates a very relaxing aura. Cloud sort of smells like plastic, but not in a bad way.

kahbsa99

Although the notes says otherwise, just super generic sweet fragrance. Annoyingly sweet, no elegance, no delicate, no cleaness. Too expensive for what ir is.. The other bottles look like masterpieces but this one looks like a childs toy.

araisin

Lovely opening. Sightly juicy, fruity and sugary. I like that vibe. But it soon -- very quickly, actually -- settles into its masculine base. It's not offensive to me, or unpleasant, but I don't tend to like wearing more masculine fragrance on myself. Love a good masculine frag on men, but not for myself. It's not overpowering, but it just doesn't bring me the joy that all my other scents bring me when I obsessively smell my own arm to take in the scent I'm wearing that day. My 16-year-old daughter asked if she could have it and I happily said yes. I don't know if she will even like the fragrance, per se, but she likes the cute bottle and wanted it for her small perfume collection/display in her room.

belladonnaofsadness

Found a 30ml at a discounter's so decided to give it a shot: I've of course smelled it before, as I've left my house at least a handful of times over the past few years, but never worn it myself.

Anyone saying it's not similar to BR540 is being unserious-it's not 1 to 1 but it's the clear inspiration and this is meant to be an affordable alternative. The longevity is mid, even on clothes, but I actually like the dry-down on this better than BR540 as that never stops being medicinal on me. Even Zara's Red Temptation, the other most widely available BR540 alternative, gives off a burnt effect. This is the only one I get any sweetness from, and I don't think it's too "juvenile" for anyone (what a wild criticism when niche brands are pumping out $250+ fragrances that are just lemon pound cakes and other bakery scents over and over again. Those aren't juvenile I guess because their targeted customer is exclusively rich adults?). She's a cute, easy reach grab that I'll enjoy my time with but probably won't purchase again.

jdb_

I was expecting so much more with how popular this frag is and often seeing it grouped with BR540 which is quite a masterpiece, but Cloud smells like sticky spun sugar and nothing else to me. I guess something like condensed milk as well. Overall too sweet and linear to my nose.

evv0330

I’ve worn this perfume for years now. When I first got it, I was obsessed and wore it nearly every day. It sure was sweet and latonic, but it also was slightly musky. I soon got bored and stopped wearing it. Going back to this perfume, it smelled almost… dirty? Maybe it was just because of how artificial it smelled. I wore it for a couple more times then haven’t worn it until last night. It is very sweet, but I just can’t get over how artificial it smells, especially on the dry down, along with the “dirty” smell. I think it just went bad but still, wasn’t as pleasant as I imagined. Still smells okay, just nothing amazing.
