The rose note shined for me and I couldn't get enough of the sweet chocolaty-rose blend, but after 1 or 2 months I began to smell a harsh disgusting smell when smelling it too close on the skin, and after some more months the drydown and even the smell from far was worsened and it was nowhere near the same as before .

Querty

This isnt a exact dupe of noir de noir. Maybe like 80-90%(still very close) but u recently smelled Tom Fords and its seems classier and somehwat better blended, more sophisticated in a way. Hard to explain. This is Nice, and most people would just think this is Tom Ford. But unless you love the scent profile(Dark scents) you might not like this basing your purchase off of the smell of Tom Fords alone. I made this mistake! I liked the Tom Fords one, but it isnt a dna i would usually consider buying, but was intrigued by this as its much cheaper.
Hands Down close, but Also a bit different. Have heste this needs to macerate like most parfumes in this Line.
Will Update

I bought this as a recommendation from YTube. I've been looking a TF NdN clone. Not sure if it is, but I love the scent profile. I tested it upon receiving the parcel. I wasn't impressed initially with the dry down because it was too powdery and dusty for me. After 2 weeks the scent profile changed though as it had a more robust scent quality on the dry down on my skin, and I kept sniffing the area on my forearm where I sprayed it every cpuple of hours to see if the powdery scent will return. It did, but it was more in the periphery but it is definitely fainter as the other notes took center stage. And the longevity is really good!

Candypopinlove

Bought on whim without testing it first, and I have no regrets! this perfume is intoxicating. The jammy rose and slight spiciness in the initial spary gives it an edgy aura, and the drydown is a nice woody vanilla. It lasts fairly long, especially considering how cheap it was. I would definitely reccomened this fragrance if you want to smell bomb on a budget. It kind of reminds me of a less syruppy La nuit tresor.

pipergirl

Seductive, edgy, night on the town scent. I get the whole roses and chocolate with a touch of leather and wine thing and it is amazing. I had slept on getting this because I'm not a fan of oud but the oud in this is not too much at all. It's been awhile since I tested Noir de Noir so I can't make that comparison, but I can say that this smells as though it could be a Tom Ford fragrance. Highly impressed.

Leaguebound7

To me this is close to Xerjoff Tommi Iomi

rene.saller

This reminds me of Estee Lauder Amber Mystique: a dark, moody, oud-infused rose-chypre. I'm ordinarily not the world's biggest patchouli fan, but it has a wonderfully deep, bittersweet, almost cocoa-like facet here that has won me over. I have never smelled Tom Ford's Noir de Noir, but several reviewers swear that this is a dupe for it. I would suggest letting the perfume sit for a few months before you use it; all the Armaf fragrances seem to benefit from this practice. Once it dries down, I am also reminded of La Nuit Trésor à la folie a little bit, but that's probably just the chocolatey patch accord.

Good God this smells so damn good

Don't judge a book by its cover!

I’m not a fan of the bottle at all; I think it looks tacky. Plus, I’ve been emotionally scarred previously from rose and patchouli notes working together in the same place at the same time, so I initially fucked off to other fragrances. But a week ago, I saw this fragrance come through with one of the sweetest deals on the market, and unfortunately, my wallet couldn’t help itself.

The opening is 😩👌 and instead of huffing and puffing at the rose and patchouli, I’m genuinely amused at how well they work together here! This fragrance is brilliant overall. I go nose blind quickly with this, so the urge to overspray is strong :( but the performance is doing what it needs to do.

This punches well above its price easily. Tbh before smelling this for the first time myself, if you had asked me to smell this and told me it was "designer" or "niche" tier or whatever, then I reckon that I would've believed you lol. I can see myself wearing this whilst exploring an abandoned mansion or skyscraper.

I’ve never cared for NdN and still don't, but given how nice this fragrance smells, I can’t help but wonder how the two match up...

Received this in the mail today. Initial thoughts. Photorealistic Rose, Patchouli. It does remind me of a vintage fragrance my great-grandmother use to wear. The patchouli gives it a sexy dark edge that I am liking more and more that lingers so well in the air. I actually will wear this for work today its growing that fast on me. Also I may be the only one but is no one else getting Modest Deux vibes? Like the la nuit tresor scent its duping? Just me? I hope the rose gets smoother and sweeter over time and the patchouli stays sexy and dark. Definitely an autumn//winter scent. It does give me goth vibes and it pairs nicely with my bath and body works Enchanted Magic, and I know this will be great with the Ballet Nights which is a dupe for wicked vanilla woods. Very feminine, not masculine. Wear what you like, however.

HebrewDutchess

I am not sure if I just perhaps got a bad batch of this fragrance, but it literally gives me a headache and causes me to dry heave. I tried it once and did not enjoy the fragrance at all, so I allowed it to macerate 3 months (I tried it a couple of times afterwards and just no!) This is the worst frag in my collection. I insisted my twin sister and my 12 year old daughter try it out because I thought it was just me. We all agreed this one is for the wastebasket. I hate to say it, because Club De Nuit White Imperiale and Club De Nuit Woman are two amazing fragrances in my collection, but sadly, this one is a h3ll to the no for me!

Nesne

Great fragrance at an amazing price point. To me it isn’t a dupe for NDN from TF because this perfume opens up with rose while NDN had rose in the middle notes and the dry down. I do agree it’s the same DNA but no clone to me. This perfume is very feminine to me while NDN is very much unisex. However I do think club de nuit is an amazing rose scent. I can’t believe it’s this cheap when it in fact smells like a perfume worth 100 or more. I will be using this and I’m very curious how I will like it.

Edit: this to me is more a dupe to coco mademoiselle

Nimyan

One of those Mugler's naughty cousins. Aliens or angels, whatever. Wearing it is like the taming of a shrew. Headache inducing, so think thrice! But like any hot and gorgeous girl, headache-inducing, but also tempting to take this smoky sweet vanilla rose with you all day long. Only if I can put up with that headache-inducing compound in it!

Tbrand

When I wear this, I think of a very nice hotel and spa. Maybe, Arizona in the spring. Sweet, incense, rose and patchouli. Clean and elegant. Exotic

adJayScent

I’m a 26 year old male and I had 3 compliments in 20 minutes. Its that good they wanted to try it on. The blind buy had me scared when I got the huge opening of rose but within 10 mins as a bloke makes your eyes roll back into this dark truffle/woody oud indulgence. It gives you that vibe when you go camping and smell the smoke on your clothes. It’s definitely unisex but more masculine I think. Also the longevity is by far the best I have ever come across. I’ve had 4 showers 2 days later and can still smell it from a foot away from the nose. On clothes would last a week. All and all it will give any one confidence and compliment.

Tamijami79

To my nose this one starts like Ysl rouge velours and than trasforms in to TF Noir de Noir. Vanila in this one reminds me also like in older version of Dior Hypnotic poison.

BASMAJ

Mainly rose, violet and lovely wearable oud... the violet is strong in this, it is what gives the fragrance the westernised aspect...

It reminds me of Uomo by Roberto Cavalli (same velvety smooth character), while this CDNIN with extra rose and mild oud, both share some similarities from the violet, saffron and patchouli... Uomo is better and more versatile IMO... this is more mature and more for special occasions and cold weather.

Don't get me wrong, this still is a SOLID, beautiful fragrance... it's thick classy, dense in a good way, velvety, lux and unisex IMO!... Highly recommended 👌

8.5/10 👍

richmilton

I don't get the reviews claiming this is masculine or unisex. Seriously it's straight up feminine female and it's sexy AF. Rose and chocolate dominant. Ideal scent for Valentine's Day. If I smelled this in the air I'd think damn some chick smells amazing If it turned out the wearer was s dude I'd be like WTF!

books.art.dogs

Love at first sniff!
This is so dark, sweet, and sexy- yet sophisticated. Great projection and lasting power without filling a room. When people come into your personal space, they will smell you.
I would wear this during Autumn-Spring, and even on Summer nights.
I will be buying this again and again.

NorthByNorthEast

I accidentally ordered a small decant of this instead of Intense MAN EDP. Spraying it on before going out and... that's not pineapple and smoke. Smells like rose and chocolate. Looked up my order and realized the mistake. While rapidly washing it off I did like the smell of it. Sexy and mysterious. Wouldn't mind smelling that on a woman. Longevity is great because it doesn't want to wash off and Intense Man is not really covering it up. So it's a like, but not for me.

Fragrancewonder

Smells like a winter date night of roses, wine and dark chocolate. Long lasting and affordable.

sarahh7

This is such a unique fragrance. I have a decant and am trying it for the first time and WOW. It is a strange scent, but somehow I love it. I don’t even know how to describe this honestly, but it’s not a safe blind buy or a crowd pleaser. Based off a few sprays from the decant the sillage and longevity is good. I think I will be buying a full bottle because while it’s weird (imo) I actually like it. I can smell the oud but it’s very soft and not skanky at all. It’s definitely a bold scent, and whilst it’s feminine leaning I think it also could be unisex. Actually, this smells VERY similar to another perfume I’ve sampled, called Oud D’Orient by Anfar London, which is a slightly more masculine, even more polarising, absolutely LETHAL fragrance (beyond beast mode). This is definitely a softer version of that, however they smell almost the same - but that one might be better for men.

mothtoaflame___

Confusing. I like it and not. Opens with a blast of saffron, then I immediately pick up a LOT of truffle plus a very sweet…oud? So far this blend feels super stuffy and I almost give up upon my bottle I just received in the mail today, BUT few minutes later I suddenly smell what I desired to, INCENSE all over the place with green hints of geranium and I am close to be convinced this is the witchy juice I am coming for as it settles into a persistent patchouli-rose combination, then the top notes emerge again and I am let down before the pyramid reaches its bottom, can’t figure out whether it’s a boozy, chocolatey or earthy profile - maybe truffle doesn’t like me that much or I just don’t like oud for example at all. Skin chemistry seems to work well but my nose doesn’t agree with the juice (yet).

Update:
TRUFFLE has no place in perfume in my world!!!

Tashateex

I absolutely hate this perfume.

I adore Club de nuit women and was amazed by the performance so thought I would blind buy this. I was so wrong as this is super heavy on the oud and rose. I get a strong insence smell from this and the rose smells so old fashioned to me. I think oud and rose and not my favourite notes so will avoid those forward facing fragrances going forward.

I had a hard time getting this scent off me, so if you love it, that is a big plus for you. 😄

bubblepoppin

A warm, sweet, spicy fragrance that performs like a beast. Can't smell much rose, to me it smells like .. chocolate. Mostly a night fragrance although sometimes I can get away with wearing it on the daytime (do NOT overspray). Pretty bottle that is suuper bulky and hefty.

SouthSim

It pulls musky instead of patchouli. NDN has prominent patchouli and this one instead smells stuffy

Angelvenom

At first, I was not too fond of it. I’m in my 20s looking for a dark perfume (I heard it smelt vampy), and when I first smelled this, I got flash backs to my mom getting ready to go clubbing. It smelt like a mature womens clubbing perfume, but WOW, it has grown on me. It's developed to be deeper, warmer, and spicy, and the vanilla comes out more on the dry down. It has more of that vampy smell I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase.

anilinam

This is an excellent autumnal fragrance. It smells like a full bodied Brunello di Montalcino wine. It's sophisticated and elegant. In other words, the antithesis of its price and packaging.

I often wear it on its own. But lately, I've been layering it with Lady Million at a 2 part C d N I. to 1 part L M . It's a great pairing. Lady Million's raspberry note is masked by the more sophisticated saffron and spices offered by Club de Nuit Intense, yet the combination smells a bit sweeter without being cloying.

K98

Just beautiful. High-quality, long-lasting, unique and classy. Easily unisex.

EvaNicoleFragrance

I got lucky and got a bottle that was perfect from first spray. My goodness this is gorgeous. I love the opening and dry down of Noir de Noir, but I HATE the moldy mid and lackluster longevity. A scent that heavy should have great longevity, and in CDNIW, it does.

The opening and mid feel well blended and, and although there is no truffle listed, I get a fragrant, soft, dried, and edible feeling truffle accord… a welcome contrast from the fresh-in-the-dirt presentation in NdN. The movement in this fragrance is very enjoyable and addictive to me. The drydown smells identical to NdN, but is stronger. After several hours, the strength begins to mellow and you are left with the same beautiful exiting essence that you get with NdN after only about 30 minutes.

If you like NdN or Mugler Angel, you need this in your collection.

Scentuality

Hello, hi! Just a FYI, I always write reviews when I finish a bottle so I can tell you an honest opinion with scope. This bottle I got just before the pandemic and I am only just finishing it today... so bittersweet. I don't know yet if I am the kinda person to repurchase a scent when there are so many out there to try! But I do know I am heavily considering repurchasing. This is hands down 1 of the greatest fragrances I have owned and it is SO WORTH THE VALUE. I paid $35 CAD for a 100ml bottle... when I first opened it the week I received it, it was to my surprise a dupe for one of my favourite perfumes Cafe Tuberosa by Atelier Colognes! Beautiful & superb. HOWEVER, over time, it's character changed and blossomed into something all her own... from a light and airy scent to deep and sultry. A bold sweet oud but green jammy rose scent. Absolutely stunning. When people use jammy to describe the rose I can definitely agree. It's thick, luscious and sweet, but given that flavour because of the saffron and oud. The saffron does something to make the rose profile punchy, but the geranium gives it a GREEN component. Additionally the oud is sweet and makes it soooo pretty. Last week, a lady detected patchouli, I suppose you can slightly detect it as well and lends itself to the 8+ hours longevity. I can remember all the times a man has stopped to ask me what it is in order to purchase for wife/gf, and all the times a woman has stopped me to tell me I smell amazing. This perfume is gorgeous. It is a sexy daytime scent but a shining evening scent too, in my opinion really COMES TO LIFE in colder seasons, ESPECIALLY WINTER!!! Please please try it & buy from reputable sellers so you're not stuck with shite. 🤍

MizzKitty

Meh...this is "OK", but I prefer it's cousin which is the much sweeter, denser, creamy, smoky, rose version. Sun Java Rose Oud by Franck Olivier knocks these others (TF, CDN, Mancera, etc) out of the running for me.

LeSmeller

I had high expectations for this scent, expecting it to be a clone of Tom Ford Noir de Noir, which I very much liked. What a disappointment... I don't have the original to compare side by side, but Club is thicker and has very little spark or electricity. It's a heavy, overly sweet, extremely cloying, and very artificial rose-patchouli combo. If you want to smell like a Karen, or a 60+ years old lady, this is your fragrance. After a while it settles and kind of smells like a rose-flavoured tea. Imagine two women having tea and gossipping, that's the vibe. I'll stick with Exuma Acqua Intense and Chanel Egoiste for my rose cravings for now.

Lw323

I love this! The opening might be a bit harsh, but I enjoy it! The dry down is a deep dark warm rose. It's very sultry and elegant!
I've paired this with libre intense and I'm in heaven! The wafts I get with these two layered are mesmerizing

resweetened

Rose and Patchouli really grab you with this one, jammy blackberries in the background; jammy in the sense that it is so thick and rich, with an Earthy patchouli-based dirtiness. You will get noticed as this one leaves a ten-foot trail tagging along behind you. Go easy.

pureangelgirl

In general, this is a really well-composed and pretty perfume. It's smooth as silk. However, as a Bulgarian girl, I'm sick and tired of roses. After a moment this smells like rose soap. Not jammy by any means. I can't love it no matter how hard I try.

kukuiuo

update 29jan: some spice is shown now! up close (as in what I smell from being sprayed on my neck) there's more warm spicy notes that I pick up and I like it againnnnnn I knew this would be it for me this bae fr armaf I wish nothing but love onto y'all as a company you are a blessing

update 4jan24: so as time has went on it developed like a lipstick type note? idk how to describe it but it's like a lipstick/older woman's makeup bag smell in the beginning and a little throughout, reminds me of my mom in a bad way

I still think I like it tho but I did notice that

10nov23: I just got this less than a week ago and it may be too soon to give a final verdict but OMG I'm in love. this changed the way I view rose as a note as I used to despise it

this is rose petal jam with red wine stuffed into the most luxurious dirty (in a good way) chocolate truffle, at times I got somewhat of a dirty blackberry wine type of scent too which is glorious but that may be because I just got it and haven't let it sit

it's sex with a vampire on a bed of roses

definitely gonna become a staple of mine, favorite perfume I've smelled in my life

PerfumeUser2023

Good daily rider for her, to complement the Men version.
The EDP is a more mature, less alcoholic version. The ingredients are sweet and citrus. Not very complex, but more a notch above the generic ones. It has a bit of character.

I would recommend it as at this price point.

Sarahaliii

Its smells like a vanilla rose oud with spices in the mix like a jammy rose but not to sweet smells heavenly sophisticated lady like rose fragrance smells like when you walk through dubai mall or arabic mall fragrance shop ..like an arabian princess wink😉

AquaRegia

Picture stepping into a world of opulence and intrigue, where every fragrance note weaves a tale of mystery. Armaf's Club de Nuit Intense Women takes you on this enchanting journey, a fragrance so close to Tom Ford's Noir de Noir that it's nearly impossible to tell them apart. This is a scent for those cold, enigmatic evenings when you want to leave an unforgettable impression.

The aroma is rich, dense, and complex, a true symphony of fragrance notes. It boldly boasts a dominant rose presence, but don't be misled – this is a scent that transcends gender boundaries. In fact, it's the perfect signature for a dark lord, a character oozing a vampiric masculinity that's both alluring and commanding. With powerful elements of patchouli, vanilla, and Oud, it exudes an air of luxury and sophistication that belies its remarkably affordable price.

Imagine yourself in a chandelier-lit ballroom, adorned in a gown or tuxedo, and Club de Nuit Intense Women enveloping you in its dark, sensual aura. This fragrance is more than a complement; it's a statement. It's the embodiment of darkness, sensuality, and allure that sets you apart in any room, making an unforgettable impression that lingers in the minds of those you encounter.

VenusDoom

I had it, I gave it away, I missed it so much I bought it again. Red rose in full bloom, its green leaves crushed and covered in dump soil. Resembles some sort of expensive dark chocolate filled with a rose liqueur accompanied with dirty undertones (patchouli) in the dry down.

mad_mal

Dry Down reminds me of the old Yves Rocher's Evidence.

Chinello23

Honestly, an average perfume to me. A thick and syrupy rose, which is a little too supermarket rosewater for my liking, and something medicinal and unpleasant in the background. There are so many better spicy rose offerings in the perfume world. Sigh.

neslind

One of the best dupes Ive ever smelt. Little heavy on the patchueli, but still really good.

What I dont get is how they can label this as a womens scent.

Is it a flower bomb? yes. But it's masculine florals, straight up.

Every women ive talked to say they like it, and wouldnt wear it themselves.

It has this dirty undertone that makes it dark and masculine, combined with the non feminine florals.

However this isnt a daily driver. Best to wear all black, maybe a suit.

----- Recommended wear for end of winter/beginning of spring, during the day time

Nocciola23

Beautiful dupe of TF Noir de Noir. Dark, velvety and balsamic rose. Gorgeous.

Iliacci85

Good fragrance which smells a LOT like Tom Ford noir de noir. To the untrained nose - which 99% of people around you are - this is similar to noir de noir. Opening is a bit harsher than the Tom Ford and overall I would say that the Tom Ford is a better blend, but the dry down is awesome. I am not very happy with performance, although it could be because of nose blindness. Tom Ford is (at least for me) just too expensive given this alternative. 8/10 overall.

arizonaruby

Dark, spicy, night time rose. The opening is quite heavy and spicy, front-loaded with saffron and pepper. Then there’s a lovely, dark, blooming red rose. This is grounded by a rich oud and patchouli base. This is definitely a winter night time scent - I wouldn’t wear it to the office or in warm weather. But if you like this type of perfume I don’t think you’d be disappointed, especially for the price.

wavebackatthevoid

I own Noir de Noir and blind bought this because one of my friends wanted to know if it's like Noir de Noir. It is distantly related to that fragrance but they FOR SURE do not compare to one another (this is NdN's 2nd or even 3rd cousin). To me NdN is much creamier; I feel like truffle (+ saffron & that TF moss) shines through on it's performance where as CdNI's heart is made up out of a lot of spices and the saffron in this fades quite fast. I get a lot of rose, wood and patchouli on the drydown and little to no vanilla from CdNI.
I LOVE NdN and I like this. It's one of my gym fragrances..
Definitely a strong performer for the price range it's in, it's longevity on my clothing is everlasting.

ellerodriguez

I am a biiig rose scents fan (when done right). Delina exclusif is a very nice light rose scent, to which i love. This one is the mature version of Delina Exclusif. Very seductive, mature. Like the classy badass older sister no one should mess with. The rose on the top note can be strong to some who don't like rose, but the dry down is the perfect amount of woody.

Projection & longevity, as usual, lasts 2 days on my clothes ans 12+ hrs on my skin. That's armaf.

I'm pretty sure, for beginner noses and for people who dont wear perfumes, they will not like this. Preference will vary as always.

High quality rose scent. I love it so much. Did not even need a month to macerate like other arab perfumes, straight up beast.

JenAvery

Beautiful earthy dried petals, almost jammy but not quite that sweet rose; probably the perfume I can smell the most rose in. I don’t get the spice, I wish I could smell more pepper and it doesn’t last long on me, I don’t get the vanilla Oud dry down, but for the price I’ll just re-apply. The top note is that good! It may change as the bottle matures. This is in my top 5 along with very good girl, rose prick and sweet diamond pink pepper. I really love this. I haven’t tried Noir de Noir by TF but I’m glad I found this before I spent hundreds if this is a dupe; I spent around 10% of TF!

qianqian

I'm glad I tried before buying blind, because this is definitely going to be a hate. The floral opening is screechy, and the spciy middle is quite artificial, too. It tries to get a chocolaty drydown but it doesn't work out as well as Angel. I'll try the original Noir de Noir and see how it performs.

Go4buck

Amazing perfume if your nose is matured (meaning >30). This is 1:1 to TF Noir de Noir.

Strawbunny

Good perfume considering the price, the opening is too sharp but it juts for 3-5minutes, after that it become like honeyed roses. I couldn't wear it tho, too mature for my taste

pinotos802

I blind bought this and it smells rotten, like a church or a funeral. The combination between oud, patchouli and rose make this smell unbearable to me.

0505413259

i blind bought this one i used it a couple of time and i felt it was too feminine for me as a man. so i kept using it on my bedroom furniture to make the room smell nice. finally i ended up gifting it away

Carlitos

Budget Rose
One of my favourites for several years now. I am now wearing the second bottle and have another full one for backup. It is Club de Nuit Intense Woman by Armaf, which offers us a very intense rose right from the opening, supported by saffron, and quite spicy with nutmeg and pepper. The base is traditionally oriental with Patchouli, Vanilla, Amber and a bit of Agarwood. The presentation is acceptable, even almost pretty, It presents the structure of a Floral Chypre but the strong oriental atmosphere draws our attention to the happy marriage of the dominant rose with the spices and the base where the oud note is not predominant. Its strong similarity to Noir de Noir by Tom Ford, which is ten times more expensive, ended up giving it some notoriety when it seemed doomed to oblivion because of the shadow cast on it by its more commercial brother Club de Nuit Intense Man. Armaf excels at having a high percentage of low-quality perfumes in its range, but this fragrance is thankfully an honourable exception. It is for me the best perfume of this brand, besides presenting us with an extremely intense and seductive rose. It should only not be worn in summer and is suitable for all environments except the gym or the beach. Its longevity is over 8 hours and its sillage reaches approximately two metres. The price? I bought my 105ml backup bottle last month for 27 Euros.

I can tell based on reviews this is one that needs to sit for a bit, but just wanted to comment, that fresh out the box this smells like sexy fresh laundry 😁 with a vanille dry down. I may even enjoy it like that before it settles.

Ian157

As a guy I am loving this more and more and wearing it more and more, easy because it is such a big bottle for the money!

JenSmellsSOGood!

I completely agree w the review directly below me. This is a beautiful rose/oud/patchouli bomb! Fantastic sillage and a gorgeous dry down. It's like layering Tea Rose over Prada. Very soft, but powerful mature scent, w a vintage feel. If you're GenX or Xennial, this smells like your mom and her friends when they got dressed to go out in the 80s. Nice to see a new perfume w this vibe. I'd recommend to any vintage lover.

konchokjenpa

What a beautiful spicy rose oud fragrance. This is really well blended and performs well on me. The light saffron in the opening combines with the rose and gives an exotic vibe. It later dies back just enough to let the geranium and nutmeg come out, all of which are a lovely combo. The rose remains strong throughout and it's a very beautiful perfect Middle Eastern style rose note-- strong. The oud and amber are not loud but they are giving complexity and depth and good staying power to the fragrance. A little bit of vanilla comes up late in the dry down but it retains an almost green or herbal quality, I think from the combination with patchouli and the herbal note in the geranium. I don't normally like rose and vanilla combos but the spices also help keep this from going lactonic which I find rose/vanilla sometimes do. The patchouli also adds an almost praline note which in combination with all of the above is beautiful.

I'd call this feminine but I think the right man could work it. I look super masc all the time and so I like to wear these souped up feminine fragrances sometimes because it throws people off. With a suit, 100% I'd wear this. People will find it beautiful and intoxicating.

EDIT: If you overspray, it absolutely goes lactonic-- not my favorite so I will be going lighter on this one. I overdid it a little bit the other night and smelled like rose and vanilla ice cream.

chrissrgg

Not for men and l like oud fragrances, but this one is just a no for me.

l also think l got a fake, but l will buy the oil version just for the collection.

MCW7

Wondering if I have picked up a fake on this. because it is to me not a great fragrance. I do not get the hype at all. Smells extremely synthetic to me. They definitely have much better in the club de nuit line.

This is the ultimate rose chypres Imop. If you love a strong rose fragrance give this a try but i highly recommend sampling first if you can. The Rose, patchouli, oud, and saffron, really shine in this but the oud is not overshadowing the fragrance its merely in the background. I can also smell a bit of the nutmeg and the amber. If you’ve ever tried noir de noir by tom ford this is the dupe to that. Which is exactly why I purchased this for under $30 rather than paying $350+ for the TF instead. It’s essentially the exact same fragrance except for minor nuances unnoticeable to the untrained nose. Lasts a lifetime, a little goes a long way!

CitrusMuskLover

I stepped wayyyyyyy out of my comfort zone with this one. That was the goal and I succeeded with this blind buy. This fragrance speaks volumes. It speaks dinner at an exclusive club, fall date night at the Eiffel Tower, a sexy rendezvous. It speaks confidence, power and boss chick vibes. Don't let the opening scare you like it did me. After the dry down I couldn't and wouldn't stop smelling my hand. This is what I imagine Alexis Carrington or Dominique Deveraux (Dynasty) smelled like. This has a current, yet nostalgic vibe of sophistication and glamour. Do we do glamour anymore? This is it!!

ts_likes_colognes

This is a great clone of Noir de Noir! I pick up a tiny hint more saffron in this fragrance, but the difference between the two is negligible. The performance is just as good as Noir de Noir, projecting about 4 feet and lasting between 8 and 9 hours, and I got a 105mL bottle of this for $28! Thank goodness I heard about this before splurging on a bottle of Noir de Noir!

SKY AND SOUL

suzanne_ronald

RICH & DARK ROSE with Oud & Patchouli. Opens with a floral burst of powdery, spicy rose with touches of saffron, that continues and deepens into a rosy heart with honeyed, velvety, peppery, nutmeg & creamy facets, all resting on a vanillic patchouli-woody base with earthy, oud and resinous nuances. Overall what I get is a beautiful rose-oud-patchouli scent that gets darker and richer the longer it's on the skin. This is inspired by Noir de Noir Tom Ford and it's a fairly good approximation, and one of the better dupes IMO. Well above average performance. This is the perfect scent to wear for a gothic vibe. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

CDNIW is one of the most elegant rose perfumes I have ever sniffed. It’s far from sweet jammy rose or sort of. The rose here is deep, lil green and spicy, woody, mature, with a warm dry down. The incense is not overpowering like in any other ala mid eastern rose-saffron-oud perfumes. CDNIW also shares some similarities with Velvet Rouge by Jason Wu (which is greener, spicier, bolder) and Agent Provocateur (which more musky, sharp, metallic). Compares to the previous two, CDNIW is softer with strong patchouli presence.

Joey3105

Another love at first sniff and successful blind buy. Beautiful jammy rose note.

Smells rich and seductive and well blended. Awesome quality for $32!

Thunderthighs2023

Love at first sniff, such a beauty. Some of the reviews on here gave me some trepidation before I got this scent but luckily I found a tester at some shop and I immediately fell in love. I understood all the reviews that said its unique and dark but I love it. Grandma vibes no no no. Certainly a night time fragrance and winter / spring. This would have been a successful blind buy. Paid about 30 bucks and worth every cent.

Holli

Gorgeous chocolate syrup and rose. Not notably green, but fresh under all over the sweetness and darkness. Gets earthy over time while retaining the sweets.

vrosej10

I purchased this blind, in an attempt to find a successor to Calligraphy Rose, which I adore. It's nothing like that but absolutely zero regrets.

I have never smelt the Tom Ford this is supposed to be a dupe for but holy cow, this is good. To my nose, I get musk lollies mixed with Mor Marshmallow and a dash of Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely in the dry down.

The indolic/animalic element comes from a photo realistic wisteria notes that haunts the back blocks of this scent. This is a huge winner for me because I adore wisteria and you just don't get it enough. This is mildly dirty not scary dirty, so if you can deal with average animalic jasmine, you will be fine.

The longevity and projection are pretty oddball to me. normally to get longevity this good, you normally get more projection. after the initial drydown, this stays the exact same volume for a dog's age.

Irishblondgourmand

Jammy Rose, hint of geranium and saffron, some patchouli. To me its like a spicy powdery rose vanilla. This is going to sound strange to most people ... but the saffron geranium combo to me smells animalistic ... reminiscent of a sweaty horse in the summer. Now to clarify I mean this in the nicest possible way .. reminds me of times I had an easy life !
Like @thatgothbbw said below .. not for the faith of heart .. its unusual

ThatGothBBW

To start. 👉 I HAVE to say this, the fact that ANYONE could describe this as "old lady" is absolutely RIDICULOUS! 🙄 If I had a dollar for every time I have heard that about this fragrance....

THIS DOES NOT smell vintage, dated, or anything of that sort! It doesn't even have any of the classic notes you find in 99% older fragrances. There's no civet, no oak moss, no aldehydes, no incense, etc.

This is actually different. It's dark, sweet, sophisticated, high quality, deep, rich, and luxurious. ❤️❤️❤️

To the average nose (someone who only buys from places like bath and body works) lmfao. 😂This probably comes across as "old lady" but I can assure you, it is not!

This is for a more experienced person, one who's really into all things fragrance. One who enjoys many, many different things.❤️

The rose in this is jammy, not dry, and done beautifully. It's not too heavy either. This is earthy but only just enough to give it some backbone. Even though it is not listed, it definitely gives off a sort of chocolatey smell. It has a very mild powdery quality. The patchouli in my opinion, as well as the oud is pretty mild. But it comes through more as it dries down. 😍😍😍

This fragrance is a work of art, and criminally under appreciated. ❤️

This would be incredible for that girl rocking a black wedding dress, a girl who doesn't mind dominating in the bedroom, or for a sexy/date night. I always imagine this fragrance on a sophisticated girl in all black, the one who always has the most perfect makeup, and with hair as shiny as a ravens wing. 💋

This is not for the faint of heart or a basic b***h. 👈 This is for the girl who likes uniqueness, who likes something different, and who wants to stand out.

I can't recommend this fragrance enough. It is simply GORGEOUS!

Club de Nuit Intense opens with a bright floral bouquet of rose, hyacinth, and the perky greenness of geranium, and these notes are ushered into a mellow, woodsy blend of patchouli, cedar, and oud. Eventually everything settles on powdery, semisweet vanilla. It's a very modern-styled, Arabian-in-feel, beautifully structured perfume, as if an upscale European designer brand decided to take a sabbatical in the desert. Comes in two concentrations: eau de parfum, and cologne (in the form of a body spray). I think it's the best I've tried from Armaf, and it's impressive that they put this out, even if it is derivative.

Parfumpop

Yes, this smells like Noir de Noir, the big difference between them is that Noir de Noir is a bit deeper and warmer on me and has stronger patchouli, but the similarity is uncanny. Here the patchouli is only evident in the opening and fades quickly. Beautiful rose, vanilla, amber, nutmeg and a soft but noticeable oud note remain. The drydown of Club de Nuit is a sultry rose with sweetness and powder. Nuit dries more powdery than Noir. Very impressive, it stayed on my skin for more than 8 hours. For those who also love Tom Ford's Noir de Noir but find the price a barrier, this is a very nice alternative.
Can be tried

BGBG

Amber, patchouli and rose. To me it is like a rose forward take on Coromandel or Prada Amber for woman.
It is very nice and a man can easily wear it. Reminiscent of Moonlight Patchouli from VC&A.

Lidell

Feels like a Middle-Eastern take on the patchouli-forward Chanel fragrances, in beast mode.
Semi-sweet choco-rose on slightly dirty patchouli is what I get with some interesting, white grape-like nuances, that turn this scent rather magical - although, not in an edgy way.
Club de Nuit Intense failed me as a goth party scent (even if I can't remember when I last recieved this many compliments on my perfume), it may somewhat lean dark, but is far too people-pleasing to make me happy.
If that is what you look for, you should certainly get it, it's one of the best bargains I have come across yet in the scent world. Lasting power is eternal, sillage is strong, and this is a perfectly blended juice for spring or autumn nights.

Binst145

Received in a mystery box, it doesn’t sit right on me. I have quite a few rose scents, some fresh some oudy, this one just is too sweet and artificial.

Henys97

I have no idea what is wrong with this one. Smells like a old woman’s perfume. Very rose strong but the blend is so bad. I’m not sure who would wear this besides an older women. I’ve tried leaving the cap off for some time and same scent.

Scentmemories

When I first purchased this fragrance, It smelled like potpourri to me.....not bad but I craved more from it. That was over a year ago. There's nothing more I could ask from this fragrance now. I pick up so much more from it than potpourri. Some days it's more rosey, other days more earthy or sweet like chocolate. It's absolutely stunning. I've smelled the tom fords, and this is very Tom Ford smelling. I layer this with spiritual sky patchouli oil sometimes, and I promise you that I smell like I just paid $300 for a fragrance. If this is ever discontinued I'll be lost. This and swiss Arabian shaghoff oud aswad are my children.

xMaxdMx

Date night in a bottle. Buy it guys, it’s not feminine!

StardustMoonsong

The rose in this is overwhelming and it's literally all I can smell. It's very much an old lady rose stench, overbearing and headache/nausea inducing. It's not a sweet smelling rose AT ALL. I've had it on for at least an hour. On my left wrist, all I smell is rose still but on my right wrist, the rose finally subsided and it smells amaaazing!! Like, damn! I can't stop sniffing myself. I'm not good at deciphering notes but I'm guessing it's the oud, vanilla, amber and maybe saffron and patchouli. Wish I could just extract the rose outta there and then this would be my dream perfume! I'm gonna experiment and try spraying this on my clothes the night before so I can hopefully still enjoy this perfume without having to sit through the rose opening. I think this was a great deal at $19 and it smells expensive... I just can't with the rose. :(

**Update - Spraying my clothes didn't work, they just smell like rose and it's still such an old lady smell. I guess it needs your body chemistry to unlock the rest of the notes. Too bad.

remyernstsenre

I really love the yammy rose in in this, but there's a cheap rubbery smell to it. Which puts me off.

PerfumeAdore♥️

Patchouli and Oud bomb! I don’t really smell much else. My husband said it smelled a little like a carnival with funnel cakes and various other smells…pass.

Crixus19

I saw too many good reviews not to buy CDNIW but was very disappointed not my favorite fragrance the amber and oud are way too overpowered. I bought the fragrance expecting to love it just to realize I prefer fresh fragrances and not a fan of overwhelming sweet fragrances, and this is one of those. But for the price I can see how some people may fall in love with it. This fragrance is just not my cup of tea.

combsandcucumber

i get an immediate rose, very strong. After a while, the spicier notes come out but it doesn't last long enough to go through many other changes. It's a nice scent for me and I wear it a lot, possibly because I have to keep reapplying it so much! Very, very shortlasting!

Mushk

I got this (and a few others) for my mom after researching for beast mode women's perfumes because she returned my TF Ombre Leather, calling it a watered down perfume.

She loves this and carries it really well, dressed up. It fills up her room; so the sillage and projection is great.

Today, I am sampling it on myself (40/M), and on my own self I smell more rose compared to the chocolaty and camphor-like earthy patchouli I smell in the air when my mom would wear it.

Also, the opening is indeed synthetic (nail polish remover) and it feels more feminine at the opening but as it ages it leans unisex. Good thing - that synthetic opening fades rapidly within two minutes.

I've had it on for an hour and to my nose it's been reminding me of Montale Ristretto Intense cafe, where too I never really got the coffee note but more of a chocolaty patchouli.

The rose in the Montale is more syrupy compared to this. It's still early hours but I have a feeling I prefer this over the Montale ; and of course the price is 1/5th. I've never sampled TF NdN.

Overall i has a place in your collection is a great scent if you like rose and patchouli. It feels upmarket and can work as a show stopper scent for events.

No brainer at that price for collectors and aficionados. I think I got it in some moving out sales for near USD15.

gourmandgyaani

so I've had my bottle for almost ten years now
I must have bought this in 2014?
I have only used this a handful of times ever since and have a strange relationship to it
sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes it reminds me of bug spray, idk?? lol

SandyToess

I own over 100 perfumes but this was the first one that really makes me wanna puke, there is something that my body just cannot digest, it's really awful. And I have other ouds, geranium, rose all that jam, but this one I cannot stand. I sprayed it just once on my jumper and that horrid smell stayed very strongly with me for the whole day, so the longevity in my opinion is extremely good. My bottle is for sale, UK only.
Oh I also tried TM NdN and it wasn't so off-putting, I don't know what they put into Armaf but I strongly suggest to try it before buy it.

Tran Tran

I like the design of this bottle. Simple, not too fancy and doesn't look cheap at all. However the smell isn’t really my taste, it’s kinda too masculine for me. The rose was very subtle and the spicy note was a bit too overwhelming. After spraying I could smell alcohol as well but good thing is it’s gone very fast. Silage was good but longevity was disappointing, like 2-3 hours only. It’s cheap anyway so can’t complain.

Shikin27

Edit: 2 hours! That's how long it lasts. My cheapest lattafa lasts longer than this!

I wish that first blast had stayed throughout cos that is beautiful with that deep rose. Afterwards I smell the geranium and now at 30 mins mark all I smell is like woodsy notes. I fear this will not be long lasting. Normally I would come here to read the reviews but this time I watched YouTube videos and decided to purchase. Well that's a mistake. After pressing buy I went to fragrantica to just check out the reviews and then it's too late to cancel.

No matter how nice a fragrance is, the deal breaker is the longevity for me. And so far this does not bode well. Oh well, good thing it's not expensive. I shall heed some of the advice here and keep this somewhere dark for a few months and come back to it.

Vassiliy

Sprayed it at the store on a tester strip and kept it with me, opening was amazing, mid was good, dry down is super skanky oud unfortunately. Glad I didn’t buy it on the spot because of the opening. Just 27$ though, armaf has the best prices.

BonClay

Kind of reminds me of black orchid for a short while but then geranium takes over and that's all you smell it is really close to nior de nior

Ilikewhatilike

Unbelievably good. Quality, bold, unisex, natural smelling, seductive compliment monster. I thank the Tom Ford company for creating the dna, and thanks to Armaf for recreating it for people on a budget. But the inexpensive cost doesn’t mean corners have been cut. This is the best value fragrance I’ve ever encountered. Fantastic gift fragrance as well, as I think anyone can wear this and feel special, whoever there are and whatever their experience fragrances. Spectacular.

SerenaLovesKanye

It took a couple of months for me to feel comfortable with this one. I didn't hate the oud, it was wearable, I just wasn't brave enough. I can smell cloves in the top/middle notes now that it's rested in the box for about two months. At first I got rose and oud, but a much too synthetic kind, so it'll take some getting used to still I'm afraid - haven't given up on this though.

And FYI, I was introduced to oud as a child and love it. It's comforting and warm and even though I've been spoiled by more linear Western fragrances, I love the depth and beauty of oud - just not sure it's this one.

PKSMKE

I love this and for me it's a perfectly acceptable substitute for Noir de Noir (I had a 15 ml decant of the OG). That said, I recognize that there are undoubtedly differences in the quality of the juice (the price!) However, before you write off your bottle -- any Armaf for that matter -- make sure you clear the straw and are drawing fresh juice from the bottle when you spray. I've had two different Armaf scents that I was going to write off until I retried them after spraying enough to clear the straw and nozzle. Hope that helps.

Afc_Croatian

During my first job in high school I worked with an older gentleman who would always tell me his love for fragrances. He had many vintage bottles which he gifted me since he said he "doesn't go out anymore and i'll put more use into it since i'm always somewhere downtown, on dates etc."
One of his prize possessions were Tom Ford Noir de Noir. he gifted me a sample of it and I was hooked on it immediately, I only saved it for dates or special occasions, and when I ran out of it, I purchased a 10ml vial for $85.

Over 80 fragrances later and I still didn't buy a full bottle. Then I found Club De Nuit Intense, read the reviews and was ecstatic to hear it was a clone to Noir de Noir.

I bought it and was immediately reminded of the memories of my first high school job. If you are a fan of Noir de Noir, you will love CDNI. To me, it is IDENTICAL. And I couldn't be happier with a $20.00 clone like this one. Also, it lasts all day especially on clothes, I constantly smell it on me.

If you're expecting a clone, I give this a 10/10

Ovoronkova

Such a beautiful spicy rose! Very addictive fragrance. When I first got it it was a like but the more I use it the more I start loving it. Just wow reall

lanabroz

This is tricky one. I bought it in summer and regretted immediately because the only note i could pick on is pungent patchouli.
I tried it again during the colder weather and only then i discovered the beautiful rose some spices too and way softer patchouli. However, my nose is not picking up no vanilla or any other note.

Also there's difference in smell on my skin than on my clothes. On my skin i only smell rose and it lasts for about 3 hours. On my clothes it smells a lil dirty which is not bad, because it makes perfect harmony, between rose and all the rest. On clothes it lasts until I wash it.

It's an unisex, but not safe blind buy at all. It's cold and dark. And i think, either you love it or you hate it.

I see an older woman, beautiful and very confident, a lil devilish, charismatic and mysterious, always dressed up wearing it as her signature scent. She doesn't care if the scent brothers others who might hate it. They can't even express their opinion because she's the one in power.

kiaoi

At first this was an headache-inducing mess, smelled like nail polish remover and made me sick to my stomach. Heavy, cool bottle but that was it. But now this is growing on me, only for the dry down. I don’t know if my nose got used to it, I now feel a softness in the dry down that I didn’t understand or notice before. It’s definitively a scent that sticks, thick, something that will make you noticeable. I will keep it, hoping I will understand it more.

Update: I actually wore this for Halloween night 2022 and it was perfect, deep and thick in the cold spooky air.

Krithiga Kesavan

I can smell rose ,oudh and chemical. That's it rose, oudh and chemical. Not a safe blind buy and the oudh in here is very over powering. It has middle eastern Vibes. Definitely not a great choice to wear in a closed space. Glad I didn't get the full bottle after seeing raving reviews. Longevity is 6 hours and sillage is intimate. It reminds me of creation lamis fragrance called heat wave. They both smell very identical.

Chaselark

I'm a 59 yr old man, wife, teen kids & about qty 60, $30 - $50 bottles, a mixed bag of the usual suspects in 1.7 or 3.4 sizes. Blind online buy thinking it was the male version and only realized it was not after it shipped. Initially I figured I'd give it to my wife, but then reading about the Noir de Noir (unisex) comparisons made me curious - and I don't have a rose frag. It arrived, sprayed and after the dry down this kind of was mind blowing.....this sh*# is stunning! My thoughts are the quality, the 'clean', the 'rose' - I am not giving it to my wife, I am comfortable with where this frag falls on the male - female spectrum and I am going to enjoy the hell out of this.

EJJ

I'm a man and wear this. I wear this with a suit open collar or open collar with a sports coat. This oud rose fragrance has a gentle metallic touch, and a boozy note that makes you smell like royalty. This sent is a hidden gem. I like to mix this with Bently for Men Intense, they both have the same identical boozy note and complement each other.

Uzuki_Ogura

Cheapie but quality!!!....
This scent is like a bad ass chick! Darkie sexy!... I like the rose in here, saffron and violet! 🖤🖤🖤... This is a night perfume prolly club night/ night party fume... Longevity is 6-8hrs on my skin, i don't mind respraying i want my perfume to be loud! Hahaha... I don't care people around me they can just cover their noses if they don't like my scent! Atleast i know projection is there! Hahaha...

coffeebean83

Absolutely beautiful quality fragrance. It does smell very similar to Noir de Noir. Potent and long wearing. It will definitely be a repurchase when I run out. One of my favorites.

Maabena85

I bought this perfume 3 years ago, I used it the first time and eeeeeeeeeeeew I couldnt. I still dont understand. too busy, too loud, it smells like middle eastern cheap perfumes (we call it abotsi perfume in Ghana) I just cant handle it

EmHamburg

Unsuccessful blind buy, a chemichal mess that smells dirty/cheap and performs as a skin scent. Beast mode???? Close to noir de noir??? Really??? This is a a joke…

Jme3976

This perfume just checks all my boxes. It’s feminine from the rose and geranium, it’s dark and mysterious from the oud and patchouli, it’s long lasting on me- like 6-8 hours. And every single time I wear it I get mad complements. It’s just sexy and definitely one of my favorites.

octi.b

Went with the trend and bought them. Unfortunately ended up feeling underwhelmed. Really pleasant and powerful in the beginning. It's been 3h now after a generous spray and I can barely smell anything on my skin. I think this batch issue everyone is talking about might be at fault or they really changed the formulation... Definitely not a dupe for anything high end. Disappointed, but at least they were cheap.

Minorick

I always enjoy this as a man, especially on the dry down,it smells like chocolate milk 🍫 as it's also long lasting (You spray it on monday and you still pick it three days after in your condo)...
Don't hesitate go get the bottle EDP is a devine...

Jaelle

Tons of compliments.
Beautiful rose, and a great powderiness.
Lasts really long on my clothes.
I love it.

Samthor1

Just got this a few days ago and im honestly not impressed at all. Firstly, its just a watery patchouli oil based perfume. No throw even after serious overspray, lasts on clothes until washed but yhats because of the oil. This is a very faint arabian scent wich starts of smelling like wet hay then after 20 mins you can smell rose but only if you flare your nostrils and breathe deeply! Beautiful heavy bottle but operated by you tube reviewers who swear it has massive sillage ect ect, font believe the hype and remember to spend more next time you want any power or trail.

gandrasta

Noir de noir on steroid. More power, amp and great sillage. Earthy, powdery patchouli is so potent. Love it

A Kent Kidd

I have, and I like. It's Noir de Noir but more chocolaty, more unisex, and more affordable. Long lasting, appealing to those who love dark rose and oud scents

Starbug2022

A powdery clone of Tom Ford's Noir de Noir. NdN is marketed as unisex but this leans way more feminine to my nose. Another quality inexpensive fragrance from the house of Armaf but too feminine and floral for me.

Kalimi

This perfume is beast mode--lovely.....

Eveningrose

It’s not strong as I expected but I love the scent! The rose and the Oud is there . I could smell it on my shirt the next day ! Lasts longer on cloths than skin ! Definitely worth it for the price !

jasmeet4000

For whatever reason the dry down of this smells like Royal - Elie Saab which is probably a good thing as Royal is quite a bit more pricy than this. I do like the opening and sillage, so dark and intoxicating in the first few sprays BUT poof and the smell is gone within 30 mins. I was disappointed, I only wore this on a moderately warm day 25'c to go to a grocery store and once I was done shopping I could only detect a skin scent. It is a beautiful scent to be around and as it is quite affordable I wouldn't mind reapplying. 9/10. Unisex all the way.

BeatriceSalBus

I like this one. Smells very close to Noir de Noir and is a good alternative if you can't/dodon't want to spend that kind of money. To my nose, this has more sharp edges than NdN but it doesn't bother me and the sharpness does leave after 20/30 minutes. After that, it becomes a smooth rose fragrance with nice spices. I don't get any oud at all on my skin. This lasts for hours and projects much of that time.

This is one of those fragrances that most people will enjoy even if they're not into fragrance or don't like notes like the ones listed. A few of my friends have gotten this fragrance themselves after smelling it on me and say this is their favorite.

Although the name says "for women" it's totally unisex since it's based on NdN which is marketed as unisex (all fragrances are unisex, anyway). Men and women would smell great wearing this and the price point is a huge seller on this as well since it's only a fraction of the cost of NdD.

rinma

Aromatic oriental rose combo. It is less refined than noir de noir by TF but still very elegant and nice. Maybe slightly more linear and less depth/facets.

mevans

I want to always have a bottle on hand. The talk of reformulation is concerning because here is not the only place I've heard of it. But I'll cross that bridge ... for now, I'm loving this stuff. Nuclear performance, the rose is stunning and there's just enough spice. I feel exactly as Aisabelle does, makes you wonder about all those really pricey ones when something this good can be offered for $30.

Aisabelle

This stunning perfume demonstrates that a house/perfumer can design, manufacture, advertise and distribute a quality, appealing, wearable, beautiful fragrance that is also affordable.

00Sara001

Delicious dark spicy rose with a warm, sweet dry down.

Sahraily

My love I will forever wear this until the day I die, literally. It opens with rose and saffron and then is followed by fresh spicy aromatics that give this bitter sweet gothic/vintage but modern sort of vibe. It smells a bit fermented tbh. Then it turns ambery, creamy and delicious. The oud in here is slightly woody but also chocolatety if that makes any sense! Is soo good specially for the price 😮 I’m in awe like how armaf ….how?

Lotte_Liese

I love the way the rose was done in this fragrance but the patchouli was so overwhelming I couldn't stand the drydown on my clothing so I sold this off as quickly as I could. The main notes I picked up were rose, patchouli, a ton of spice, woody accords, and saffron. With some earthy oakmoss, you could sell this as a floral chypre. I could not detect any vanilla in this.
Although its a unisex fragrance, it is masculine leaning.
I didn't find it sexy in any way.
Longevity and projection were excellent.

bowlofrice123

I find it hard to review this fragrance without also reviewing Noir de Noir alongside. I own both and can definitely smell distinct differences.

Upon first spray, both CdN and NdN smell extremely similar, maybe 95% indentical. The differences become more apparent after the first 2-3 hours and especially so in the drydown. CdN, albeit faint, has a certain spiciness to it, whereas NdN has nothing that pinches the nose in any way. CdN also has a distinct powdery amber note making the fragrance lean more feminine, which makes sense since Armaf has marketed this fragrance as being for women. Instead of amber, NdN has an earthier, more masculine truffle note which makes the fragrance overall lean towards being unisex. This truffle note combined with the vanilla makes NdN almost smell like dark chocolate. In the drydown, NdN retains this rich, earthy quality and has a sweeter vanilla than CdN. Overall, I'd say they are about 70% similar from first spray to drydown.

Performance for both fragrances is also very similar. Both have a moderate sillage and last 4-6 hours before becoming a very close skin scent. However, when sprayed on clothes, the drydown does last a few days.

For the price point, CdN is an obvious win if you can't afford NdN or just want to save some money. Both give off the same gothic, sumptuous rose vibe and will have you smelling absolutely exquisite.

Silverquick

A lot of hype around this fragrance. I’ve approached it with an open mind. But seriously it’s only “slightly” like TF Noir de Noir both on paper and skin. I own early NdN by TF and seriously it’s like day and night. Possibly 20-40% like NdN.

At the very best it’s only “reminiscent” of TFNdN. It’s top notes only and none of the base. Has its own place and will be enjoyed by many. But if you know the real McCoy this is only a shadow. Enjoy it for what it is, fun, brash and out there but it’s not a dupe.

If you want that, fork out the cash and buy the real thing.

EuniceMine

Beautiful scent, very intense, i haven’t smelled noir de noir, but I can say this smells like a very luxurious scent, definitely worth the price. I can smell the Rose, the geranium and the Amber which makes it a little sweet, just the right amount of fresh. Not sure how long it lasts since I just received it I will update once I use it more, in my opinion it can be unisex, but it inclined to feminine more, but a guy with the right outfit can definitely pull this scent, in fact, that would be very interesting to see, Over all am pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy again. I paid 30 dollars for it on Amazon, I have Al Haramain, Florsl Sculpture and they smell very identical to me, FS was twice the price so am happy I was able to find something smelling similar and less expensive because I love al Haramain FS

I have finally grown to appreciate this beauty! I gave this to my mom about a year ago, as I wasn't reaching for it. She doesn't use it, so I decided to test it out. Surprisingly, I don't really pick up a smoky Rose on my skin. It's definitely a deep Rose - very alluring....But it smells like a chocolate covered rose to me - slightly powdery with a woody vanilla base. Not exactly what I would wear this time of year, but I am tempted to wear it to work tomorrow.

This is a very realistic scent of flowers mix (rose, cananga, ylang ylang) every Indonesian brought to the cemetary. Back when i lived in Indonesia, once a month our family went to visit our deceased family to do some cleaning and send some prayers. Outside the cemetary , there were vendor selling flowers where we bought the flowers from. We spread the flowers in the length of the grave, from head to toe.
The cemetary smelt like the opening of CDNI as others people did the same rituals, flowers were all over the graveyard.

It is a beautiful, very dark (black/purple) red rose, very mysterious, grimm, sacred and unique.

The dry down is creamy and woody. I have Tea Rose from The Parfumer's Workshop which is good, but this one is the best i have smelt so far. It's instant LOVE for me.

The best dupe of the first batch of noir de noir by Tom Ford.
I saw a great youtube review marco4uperfumes
It is 90 % similar

Mistress Eva

If regular Club de Nuit is for the put-together, classy, professional and/or confident woman, Club de Nuit Intense is for her equally put-together, gothy, raven-haired sister. She’s spicy, unique, but her style is on point, rather than off-putting. It’s dark but still totally wearable.

The first spray opens with dark spicy rose, patchouli, unsweetened vanilla, saffron, and a wood I couldn’t quite identify. The first time I tried it, I didn’t look at the notes and didn’t guess oud was in it. Now that I know, I can smell it. It is very subtle and blended into the composition in an agreeable way. This is one I am going to be figuring out for a long time. The more I wear it, the more I can pick out each note listed. Like its daytime sister, Intense is a complex composition.

Longevity and sillage are both moderate. Both of my Club de Nuits are newer batches which may need to macerate and/or may not last as long as some other wearers report. Still, they are great fragrances for the value!

rubyjin

Maybe this fragrance fit for unisex. The oud is not too strong

KateWest

Recently bought a back up bottle; not because I'm worried it's going to be discontinued but so that I can use them for weight training in order to tone up in prep for all the sex I'll be having as a result of wearing this. This is one of those fragrances that has great projection and sillage that does not suffocate. Like all great incense forward fragrances, it offers a beautiful airy experience that is just as good smelling up close as it is far away. The scent is dark, airy, gothic. This is what I imagine Bella smelled like the morning she became a vampire and Edward approached her to feel her cold, pristine, new body. He leans in to kiss the crook of her neck and this is what he is smelling. Perfection.

MGS_1

Its close to noir de noir like 90% may be TF more masculine but this one also can be unisex easily really great value for such amazing and expensive scent
Scent 9/10
Projection 9/10
Sillage 10/10

Lovely. Simply rose and vanilla with woods but very well blended and expensive smelling

slave2therhythm

I bought this perfume after a YouTube fragrance influencer mentioned it. This was a rare time I took her up on a recommendation. I watch her because she’s very entertaining and she keeps up with what’s popular. Our tastes don’t match at all, but her description sounded interesting, so I made a blind buy.

When i think about it, I know there’s no note in this fragrance of which I’m a big fan. However, it made me wiggle my toes at first sniff.

Later in April I’ll spray this on and stand, with packed bag, at the Air France ticket desk. I’m off to Paris for the weekend with the man who wins the arm-wrestling match to take me.

missmermaid

This was a blind buy for me, I’d never heard of the fragrance- but it popped up while I was looking through Frederic Malle, which I love.

I’m a sucker for amber, rose and woods. My goal is to smell like an expensive 1920’s opium den in a whorehouse. This perfume was so inexpensive, I giggled away as the sale clicked through to success on Ebay, startling the cat.

There is something about this fragrance that very much reminds me of Café Tuberosa by Atalier Cologne. It’s the soft, powdery fluffiness that is almost candied in sweetness. It’s very much a get-close type of skin scent; very sexy. And then there is some sort of plummy note in there, and the faintest hint of something a bit sour and plastic-y.... like a soiled baby diaper. I LOVE this kind of thing- a composition that gives the barest ghost of something fetid and primal under notes of flowers and resin.

If you want to roll around naked on a fur coat with sticky thighs from f**king all afternoon in a hotel room that costs as much as a mortgage payment- this is the perfume for you. I love it!

it's_me_leah

Starts off as a sexy gothic b**** smokey rose. Stays on clothes forever and then dries into a sweet rosewater rose. Love to spray it on my scarf, then shove my nose into it and relax. Smells very comforting. I want to hug this scent.

Glyph

It's amazing quite how much you get for your money with this. Even though this retails for a very reasonable price, you still get a big glitzy black-and-gold bottle that's so heavy you could knock someone unconscious if you threw it at them. The perfume is a beautiful mixture of rose and saffron very reminiscent of Tom Ford Noir de Noir, though this has distinctly more vanilla to my nose than NdN does, and less oud.

Very swanky--so much so that I can see wearing it with a tuxedo to a formal event. It makes me think of glamorous overseas high-stakes casinos, despite the affordable price.

emma1231

This fragrance made me realize I am just simply not a rose fan. The rose smacks you right in the face and never became subtle on my skin. The rose reads too mature for me. If you like rose this is a really good inexpensive option but it is not for me at all.

Warmind77

Damnit! I picked this one up blind because I was hoping for the perfect clone for Noir de Noir by Tom Ford, I got a 50ml bottle of that I'm guarding for dear life.
The similarities are strong but there are small details that separates the two, NdN is heavier on the patch, it grounds the fragrance and keeps it darker, more mysterious and alluring. You can tell in the depth of fragrance there are higher quality materials being used by Tom Ford.
With CdNI the rose is a shade brighter and add that to the matter of being less patchouli as well it overall makes a lighter fragrance; its harsher opening too reveals the quality difference further as NdN is smoother from first spray all the way through.
Now that's out of the way, let's judge this fragrance by its own merits.
Club de Nuit Intense is a sultry rose and oud like fragrance; its rose burns bright even though it's growing in the shade of the other elements of the blend, think of bright red rose but with the blackest charring around the edges of its petals. It's suitable for men or women in my view but it's certainly made for the nighttime. Value for money is incredible and is worth much more than the £22 it's going for.
If you're looking for the perfect NdN clone this, alas, is not it but it's close, if you're looking for a nighttime rose with mystery you can't really beat this for the price.

Wijn

I have never smelled Noir de Noir by Tom Ford, but I love Club de Nuit Intense! I don't mind the opening either, a nice deep spicy rose. But the drydown is great. Some say that this fragrance is linear but I do not find that at all. It changes constantly, at least for me. Halfway through the drydown, I also smell something earthy, as if you are rooting your hands in fresh earth. And it also takes me back to my childhood. A friend of mine's parents had a café with a lot of wood that was regularly waxed. The mixed smell of wine, wood and coffee that hung in that café, in addition to the beer, is reflected in this fragrance, with a bunch of scented roses on the bar. Delightful! Also, the smell stays with me for a very long time. This is a keeper, very special, especially for the low price. Beautifully done by Armaf, I must try more of their fragrances.

chelseamurdock

This is a lovely fragrance! It opens as a bit of a bolder and darker spicy rose, but swiftly dries down to a sweet and soft powdery vanilla with a whisper of oud on my skin. I expected it to be much deeper, but I’m by no means disappointed. The dry-down is soft, but it does project and lasts a long time. For $30, this is a gem!!

Mc1995

Amazing quality for the price point. Wow, under 30$ for a beautiful box it comes in and very qualitative brick of a bottle it is. There is 300$+ fragrances that smell like this. Personally it’s not my favorite type of scent(Oud/Rose/Saffron)But I’m trying to broaden my nose, and for the price you can’t go wrong. Reminds me of Montale Intense Cafe, Marc Jacobs Decadence EDP and a bit of Tom Ford Noir Men.

richmilton

Yeah a guy can wear it. But it's so sexy on a woman. Thus, I won't wear it. I enjoy more on the ladies in my world. It's not the typical Uber feminine like Tresor, which I love as well. Club de Nuit Intense is more of a businesswoman kind of genre. The rose is blended beautifully. Lot of dudes wear it because it's so damn good without being feminine. It's the only scent I wore marketed toward women. But I don't anymore because I like it on her better. If I wore it myself it would take away from the enjoyment on her. Yeah I'm weird like that.

t3nlikescookies

@Witchingmoon it’s funny because the drydown to me smells like a cheapened version of Oud Silk Mood.

Witchingmoon

Is it only me, or this smells similar to Gentle Fluidity Silver? Not as complex, but nevertheless

apricotblossome

Like VargaZsuzsanna's comment. I also don't know what I was thinking blind buying a fragrance this early into my journey, I'm too inexperienced to really appreciate it. I'm on the opposite spectrum of her though and all I smell is roses. I mean it's the darkest rose I've ever smelled. It reminds me of the time as a child I went to a wake. I'm not saying it's bad or anything. I'm just inexperienced and my hubris is my downfall on this one. I can't call it a failed blind buy, it's pending. I'll see how I appreciate it.

edit: I copied her too and layered it with cdnim which is the only one I have at hand that might work and it worked pretty well. There's this sort of creamy aura with it now, it's quite nice but still provisional

VargaZsuzsanna

I don't know what I was thinking buying this parfume at this early stage of my fragrance journey. I'm not yet at the phase where I can appreciate something like this.
About the scent itself: long lasting on me with good sillage. I don't get any rose, not a wiff, just strong caraway and some nutmeg, burning incense (not listed as a note), patchouli (not the one I like, this one is dunk, the something is rotting in the cellar kind) and oud then after a few hours some flowers and a tiny little vanilla to make it sweeter and warmer. It just sits on my skin like a parasite, a different entity, we don't become one. It overpowers me easily, it wears me instead of the other way around. I'm defeated by a parfume.
I can see a woman/man (as the scent is unisex imo) with a bolder, bigger personality wearing and enjoying it. I'm a 46 years old housewife, an introvert, we don't suit.
By the way, it reminds me of Perles de Lalique. I get the same old, dump church vibe, but there I can detect roses while here there is no trace of it for my nose.
P.S.: After a few days of wearing it I tried to layer it with something lighter. And the miracle happened: with Avon's Luminata its is very nice and unique. It seems I don't have to get rid of it.

Edit: I had to come back to do justice here. What happened is I put this one away for about a month to rest my nose. Lo and behold when I sprayed it on a few days ago again it was like a completely different scent. Now I get everything the others described, especially the dark rose I was missing most. I can't distinguis the individual spices anymore, gone is the horrible kind of patchuli, there is a rose heavy harmony. It seems airing/resting the parfume for a while can make mirracles happen.

Breaking all the rules when we get together
Anything at all are you ready to do
Breaking all the rules, we can run away just me and you
Oh, oh, oh, oh....

Disclaimer: If you can't tell by the song opening this review will be long and highly biased, lol.

This hits me right in the yes spot of my nose. I bought this around the summer of 2019. It was a spicy rose that didn't last more than five hours on my skin. I told myself no matter what I wouldn't buy it again because of the longevity. It hurt to make that rule. I thought of trying Noir de Noir but Tom Ford's truffle messes with me. Also, I'd want NdN to be exactly like CDNIW because I found it first and loved so much.

Skip to mid Jan. 2022, I kept seeing reviews for CDNIW and I was like, "Oh, how I loved that perfume." Just wistful, af. I forget whose review pushed me over the edge but when I looked up at that Amazon price I said screw it, let's go. Y'all, I got lucky! Whatever longevity issues there were are gone. Visible oil is left on my skin. I can smell more of what's going on. It's an approachable, alluring dark dream.

What I sense, the caraway and black pepper say hi first right on top of damp, rich soil with dark chocolate sprinkled on it lightly. The rose and oud are intertwined. Sometimes I smell more rose than oud but the oud is always there. I prefer the oud in this over Oud Bouquet. There is some sweetness but it's not overwhelming to my nose. It's still a spicy rose but it's more complex. I adore this fragrance and think it would smell luscious on a man but I won't try it on my husband because it's my precious. I keep trying to bring it up to him but something keeps holding me back, lol. One day.... Maybe.

It's dumb how much I love it. It's ridiculous how it hits way above it's weight. This is the second perfume that I have come across that if the whole world was wearing it I'd still wear it.

Longevity is 10/10
Sillage is 10/10
Nose yes spot 10000000/10

Oh my god- what a gothic, sultry delight. I initially meet this beautiful jammy rose accord (that almost translates to a black cherry-like note) that is then immediately darkened by the patchouli and oud notes. As I sit with this longer, the violet and vanilla become more apparent to me, yet this dark rose scent is still the most prominent. This has an average projection and my only gripe is that it doesn't last longer (this fades in about 3/4 hours on me).
I can absolutely see why everyone has identified this as the scent of a seductive vampire, and I couldn't agree more.

almostadog

First I am going to borrow some very accurate description excerpts from other lovely reviewers:
- Quite warm, sweet, and has some depth. I get vanilla, amber, patchouli, of course agreeable oud, and some rose.
- Dark rose with spicy notes warming down with vanilla oud and amber.

All perfumes I wear have wood, floral, and citrus notes, and I do not usually like oriental or gourmand, so this was a very daring blind buy for me. At first spray it was just chemical-y and instant regret and I expected a headache, but it settles down well! 10 mins later you get a nice patchouli note coming through.
Then there is enough rose and oud to know that they’re in there, and its mainly vanilla and amber with some patchouli for the next few hours. Also the rose is not a fresh rose but more like rose syrup that you put in milk or rose water (more synthetic), and in my opinion it is not a chypre floral.
It’s quite sugar sweet, but I don’t mind it. Mind you I’m wearing it in COLD weather so it’s warm and nice, but it would be overwhelming in warmer weather.
Overall: synthetic from the bottle, sweeter on clothing, warmer on skin. Sweet spicy synthetic-ish, deep and rich scent with some sugar, dark brown with some deep pink swirls and amber flecks.

Luna333

This one is elegant, dark and smooth....it's very well blended and unique...when i first smelled it i got hit with an image of a classy lady well dressed in black going somewhere, to celebrate something, for 30 bucks you cant go wrong. smells expensive and high quality.

lemonblue

If this perfume is dark, let's call it dark-lite™. ;)
I am wearing for the first time today, and it is definitely different on skin than sniffing the bottle. Quite warm, sweet, and has some depth. I get vanilla, amber, patchouli, of course agreeable oud, and some rose. If you are looking for strong rose, this ain't it. There's something lighter and sharply fragrant hanging in the air a few inches above my skin. I gather this to be saffron. I got a whiff of violet sugar a few minutes in but that has largely dissipated. From the reviews I was expecting this to have the thick feeling Black Orchid gives, but magnified. This is much warmer and agreeable. Nothing off the wall or even really mysterious here. I'd say this is a dark-lite™ :) perfume for those uninitiated to dark perfumes. With all that being said, it's very very pretty on the skin and you will most certainly smell good. And at times maybe even the scent is a bit scrumptious. But don't expect gothic cathedral medieval castle forest at night vibes. It's simply not that kind of story.

*edit 10/16/22
Wearing this in the fall, and this is a perfect fall scent! love it! When I bought it midwinter it was a bit boring, and became less wearable in the spring and summer, but it is perfect for fall! I'm wearing it now and verrry cozy in my house. Really great for fall nights.

kurzemesradioel

I love it and I will hold on to it as long as it will be on the market! :)

It is heavy, sultry and touches my heart!

SheScent88

I have to play around with this one more. I may use it as a layering fragrance because on its own it’s not really doing much. It smells good but I was expecting something AMAZING! There really is no projection what’s so ever and it becomes a skin scent on me rather quickly. It may be a good bedtime scent. It’s extremely underwhelming for me but I will keep it. I’m going to try layering it with a good scented body cream or a different perfume to see if I can make some magic happen.

Mysticmiah1970

After seeing a lot of reviews on YouTube I finally bit the bullet and purchased this as I’d seen it compared to Tf noir de noir.on first spray I found it so overpowering to the point I recoiled in horror BUT once it dried down abit this beauty shone I’d describe it as a dark rose with spicy notes warming down with vanilla oud and amber I really like this,it’s dark mysterious and sexy vampire ish .well worth the price I’m very happy to have this in my collection.

Monke go brr

The sample I own, got extremely powdery since I first tested this perfume. Probably due to air exposure. Before this smelled really dark, evoking image of opening rose bud with dark background. Something of a dark vampire scent, really deep and mysterious.

However now, after 3 months, it smells like old lady perfume - powdery rose, with a bit of oud. There is a still a bit of darkness, but it seems like these "dark" smelling molecules evaporated as I was frequently opening the sample.

Another thing that might have changed my perception of this is that I smelled Montale black aoud, which I did not like at all, but after that I identified this perfume as similar to that.

tsubaki3031

One of my favs and I recommend for those who like dark and gothic romance vibes. When I wear this I think of beautiful ancient cathedrals. It’s cold, dark, aloof, dry, powdery, deep and softly sweet. I get full day wear with over spraying plus a gorgeous scent bubble and sillage. Sorry for those who it didn’t work for, it could be skin chemistry and climate. I’m wearing this in cold weather and goddam, I smell good.

nirvana6

Agree with LadyJedi, I was expecting something more special. I can only smell rose, for like 5 min. Then it becomes an skin scent, that's all. I don't find it dark or misterious, it's like rose and that's all.... boring. I am disappointed. No projection no spillage....if you want an alluring dark fragance better go with Black Orchid, Dior's Poison or Dior's Addict..

After some more days of wearing: it's growing on me. It's not a bomb en me, more like an skin scent. Last for 3 hours, more on clothes. It smells like cozy and cuddling roses... I wear it when I want something dark but not bold.

LadyJedi

I consider this a rather unsuccessful blind buy. I expected a potent oriental but all I get is a thin, watered spicy rose. Sadly, the saffron notes are almost non-existant. I did try to wear it a few times but it just vanishes after a couple of hours and it stays too close to the skin so eventually I gave it away. It's a soft, flowery fragrance and to my nose there's nothing dark and gothic about it so I guess I'm one of the few heavy oriental lovers who don't really get the hype :(

Swedelish

The spices, vanilla and amber don't come through enough. The oud and patchouli are heavily camphorous, inhibiting the other notes from making much of an impact. It's strangely both arid and water-like. Arid as in I need a drink of water, and water-like in that it smells thin and see-through. The rose is dark and wilting, but a simple rose no less. Overall, it's a camphorous oud-y patchouli rose perfume that's not very substantial. I'm not really a simple rose fragrance wearer, but I love a rose chalked full of yummy things like resins, spice and vanilla. This is not that. If it had more of the other stuff it could have been fabulous. I do detect a little saffron and amber, but not much. It doesn't smell cheap, which considering the price is impressive in its own right. A great buy for the right person! There's something to be said about some of these middle eastern perfumes and their amazing quality over cost. It's just not something I'd reach for personally over any of my other perfumes.

Jesse Harrison

I am really enjoying this fragrance, especially now that we are really into fall. I have seen others call it like Valentine's Day in a fragrance, and I really agree. The rose, the chocolate, everything about this is a romantic sexy fragrance. The performance of this is almost too strong for how I like to wear my fragrance, and it lasts all day. I love the vanilla, smoky, woody dry down. It might be a bit sweet for a unisex, but my son loves this one.

vivisol

Janney

Finally got a chance to smell this, after desperately trying to find it at multiple shops.
My verdict? Love at first sniff! So dark, heavy, and seductive. It has that "date with a vampire" kinda vibe to it, which I'm craving right now. Perfect for colder weather, and ideal for the nighttime.
It's truly gothic and sexy - all in one bottle! It smells rich, yet it's so affordable. It's the first time that I'm coming across a fragrance from the Armaf house, and it certainly didn't disappoint. I'm beyond pleased!

12/10

Club de Nuit Intense Armaf Woman.

And... .Now we know what Vampire Lestat signature perfume smells like!
~~THIS ~~
A deep dark gothic nocturnal mysterious rose earthy scent.

This gem not only smells expensive but is so affordable.

Well done to this house.

I just used this fragrance for the very first time yesterday. When I sprayed it on me, I loved it. It is really dark, very mysterious and VERY feminine. I don't find this to be unisex at all - I wouldn't like my boyfriend smelling like this, for instance. I went out to dinner with a friend of mine, and EVERY PERSON that I interacted with complimented this fragrance. My friend, the hostess, the waitress and even the chef that was passing by my table stopped to compliment it (meaning that it's sillage is probably somewhere among strong to enormous, so pay attention to how many sprays you are giving yourself) . This is definitely a good fragrance, and I think it seduces a lot of people because it is so unique and different. It is not something that people are used to. It has density and personality, so people are intrigued when they smell it. The longevity is also amazing. I could feel it very intensely even after 4h, but then I showered, so I don't know how many hours it would last after that. It's dry down leads toward a more woody scent, and smelling it in a more intimate distance makes you realize the woody notes (that I love) more easily. I am just in love.

I would never feel comfortable paying that much money to buy TF Noir de Noir, I don't even know how it smells, so I'm not doing this comparison here. I'm just saying that Club de Nuit Intense is an amazing, unique, peculiar and very well designed fragrance.

Soccergreat88

This runs quite masculine to my nose on first spray yet it is still nice. I get a lot of heavy rose after with strong powderyness almost coming from all those earthy notes. It's a well blended scent but definitely a grown lady scent, or something for dark winters, or night outs. I find it a bit grandama-like because of the rose in it but I still wear it on occasion for something heavier. It is not a day time fun scent, very serious and sophisticated. Good buy though

blossomblue16

Gives you the same vibe as you get from Tom Ford's Noir de Noir. Better, we dont compare it with TF. It is such a good perfume, especially when you are going out at night time. Regarding its performance: I bought a bottle almost 4 years back i.e. 2017 and to me it is such a powerful scent. i have no issues with the lasting power or the sillage.

redsilver

2020 batch code I dont know about old formulas, the perfume starts very pungent for the first 30 minutes and after that 2 hours top is completely gonne. The smell is very similar to Noir de Noir not so complex, but similar, very unisex. The only issue is the performance. Who wants a perfume to last 2 hours. Maybe it needs to sit down abit after the oxygen is coming into the bottle lets see. Please try before buy and check if the batch of the testeur is the same as the bottle you will buy.

New update: It seems I got anosmic to it, after some sprays let it sit for one weak, it has now great performance. Also the smell is gorgeus, very similar to Noir de Noir.

LittleMissYellow

Sexiness in a bottle😍! Perfect for night outs. I wear this during day as well because it smells really good and I'm the type of person to wear any perfume no matter what time or season because its that appealing to me. An amazing, Oud-dy, heavy on the rose scent🌹. Suitable but not limited to an all black.. possibly leather jacket vibes outfit when you feel like a boss bitch and no one can bother you or bring you down. Its super long lasting on my skin and has amazing sillage and projection. I will definitely repurchase when the time comes. 11/10.

lorparfume

I love the scent. It is so beautiful….but it only lasts 1-2 maximum on my skin. The sillage is also quite weak. Not sure if this is old or new formulation. How do we check when it was produced? Not sure if it’s authentic. I bought it from Mercari. Where everyone buys their fragrances to make sure it legit?
I have another Armaf fragrance, La Rosa, that lasts at least 6-8 hours but not this one.

Cypka Drypka

My bottle of new formula has arrived a few hrs ago and since I also own the old formula bottle I immediatelly started a comparison test. Here's what's evident after 1.5 hr.
The old formula is more about patchouly note, to my nose it's the most detectable note right from the start and it's a harsh, deep, dry, menthol, gravy kind which generally makes me nausious. I can smell caraway quite well too. The new formula is more rosy and kind of woody (iso E super kind of wood) right from the start, it makes the impression of and edt comparing to old edp version. It's not that heavy, deep and dark, seems more cheerful, this rose seems even fruity (raspberry) at some stage and the patch is still strongly detectable but smoother, without a menthol accord. The new version is more flowery, the violet is detectable. It seems not that strong also for the first one hour.
But now, after almost 2 hrs i have to say the new version is much more detectable, it's still a tart, prominent rose. The patch is more intense now. The old version has vanished almost totally.
I will update after global tests (because I used only 1 spritz for every arm) but so far I still consider this fragrance a very good alternative for NdN, it still has its character of a dark, mysterious rose scent. I suppose the above differences might be detectable only in hand-to- hand tests. It's still a very very good value for its price.

ElixirMixir

Oh the delectable darkness! Club de Nuit Intense smells like an erotic rendezvous in a bottle. It’s dark, seductive, luxurious, epicurean, vampy, and nocturnal. Everything about this says “night” - it’s incense, candlelight, dark floral liqueur, gourmet confections, and a cool, midnight zephyr. I absolutely adore this perfume. It makes me feel like a femme fatale only to be admired from afar but never touched. It projects strongly and has a long lifespan on the skin. I can’t believe that a fragrance this lush is so affordable. A gift from perfume divinity 😍

marie.pacesova

Gosh, this was a blind buy and love at first sniff. I dont know how the TF NDN smells, but CDNI is amazing. It has great sillage, performance, price, bottle. It becomes very quickly one of my favourite scent. I hope they will not discontinue this soon, otherwise I’ll buy a lot of bottless and hide them somewhere in darkness to protect them :-)))

Lot od people add this fragrance to unisex category, but for me CDNI smells more feminine cause od the rose sweetness, but I understand that the beginning is a bit strong/sharp and the patchouli vibe combo can make an unisex result.

As someone mentioned, that Armaf propably did a reformulation, I bought a perfume produced 02/2021 and its very longlasting and performance id excellent to.

Please, if anyone has another experience with female/unisex Armaf perfumes, message me, be happy for some more recommendations. I have also buyed the Pink Coral, that should be a dupe for Chanel Coco Noir, but for my nose its smells more like Shiseido Zen and Coco Modemoiselle, so I give it as a gift to my Mother - nice perfume, but not my signature.

goldiloks

I honestly have not really shown an interest in rose dominant fragrances since the original Stella and Ghost Ghost came out all those years ago, and felt I had outgrown them. It's been a long old while since I've actively searched for anything with rose! But while searching for darker, gothic fragrances on here, I stumbled across some recommendations for Tom Ford's Noir de Noir. I tried it in the dept store, and was pretty unsure at first.... lovely it was, but not 'me'. But of course, could not stop sniffing my wrist, so when I saw that Club de Nuit was a pretty good dupe for NdN, I ordered myself a little decant, and have been in rose heaven ever since. I had always thought Black Orchid was my 'dark' favourite but compared to this, it is shoved way down the gothic fragrance list! I treated myself to a NdN decant also for special occasions, but I will definitely be getting a full bottle of Club de Nuit for more frequent applications! It does almost tip into 'pot pourri' territory on my skin, but not quite, and I find it very soothing. A perfect, and very inexpensive dark rosey treat.

DarlingLovely

Very much in the dark rose family, but a bit bitter and I personally find it to not be quite as rich in depth as other deep dark rose scents. Granted, that may be due to the more woodier notes in it.

rose; huffing myself; goes on spicy and oud; dries down to lovely rose; almost like a rose opium but softer; wonderful clone of Tom Ford Noir de Noir at fraction of the cost

Monke go brr

I don't know where to start. First off, this scent is very floral - very prominent rose, with other flowers. The scent slowly evolves after spraying, but it is always floral. The gradual change of scent invokes an image of opening flower bud with dark mysterious background. It is quite waxy soapy bubbley scent. It's totally different then most my other fragrances (see profile) Longevity is moderate: 3-4 hours. I don't know if it smells 'expensive' but definitely doesn't smell cheap or synthetic to me in any way.

As a guy in a good shape, I can imagine pulling this off, wearing flower-pattern shirt of dark color and black slim fit jeans. If you are a girl and under 21 maybe wear this if you want to be perceived as mysterious, or more mature. I think this fragrance would perfectly fit 26-30 year old girl for daily wear. Very interesting and likeable, quite unique despite the fact it is mostly a rose smell. It's pretty hard to describe, intriguing smell. It could be smell for anyone but also not for everyone.
Extremely hard to describe, very mysterious, I just don't know what to think of it, but in a good way. Definitely recommend buying sample of this because this scent is just interesting to experience.

Just reading through the comments, someone said it smells like perfume worn by vampires - Spot on! :D :D

This smells like dark rose with mastic gum and with very faint boozy notes, but also synthetic and too strong for its DNA.
Generally, I like strong and long-lasting fragrances, but this is not a man's perfume. I would imagine a grown woman dressed in dark wearing this.

This is not a bright fragrance, not a happy smell. It is a dark, heavy, earthy and feminine smell. Sorry, not my cup of tea.

I'd have to agree with @PerpetualCollector about the new batch quality. I guess Armaf rode the popularity wave and then said "ahhh f$&k it, let's not bother w/ quality control any more." Newer batches perform like body splash. I'm so desperate, I might have to take back my mom's older bottle that I gifted her. I'm that bitter about this!!!!
PS.: I actually enjoyed CdNI because it smelled and performed way better than TF's NdN, not because my goal was to save $$$. I would've been perfectly fine w/ NdN if not for horrific reformulation under Estee Lauder.

Perpetual Collector

Holy Cannoli, Armaf butchered this perfume, completely and utterly. I came across a great deal and decided to get a bottle, even though mine is almost full. I got it 3 days ago, sprayed yesterday and I was in disbelief how much this changed/reformulated. It's a ghost of the fragrance it used to be. I can smell the nuances of it, but the projection and longevity are dismal, compared to the old version. I mean I can still smell it the next day, but it is not very pleasant and only about half of the original smell is left after a while. It morphs into something that faintly resembles CdNI, but one spray from my old bottle stays true till the end, some 24 hours later, or until I shower.
For reference, my old bottle was made in 2017, this new, backup bottle is 2020.
My husband experienced the same with the Man version of CdNI. The old version used to be his favorite perfume despite the huge wardrobe, now with the 2020 version, he barely ever reaches for it. Sad.

Glad I got my hands on this finally and in this casethe hype is justified love love love and yes its unisex. You have to wait for couple of hours for the magic to happen this is the case on my skin and the longer it's on my skin the better it gets and smells, great value for money

I just sprayed CDNI on my left arm and the OG Tom Ford Noir de Noir on my right arm, and on the opening CDNI is actually a bit darker heavier rose, whereas TF NdN has a more photorealistic rose.

CDNI also seems to have a bit of a minty green wet earthy feel underlying the beginning whereas NdN has a slightly drier earthy undertone.

This is a pretty rich and luxurious feeling fragrance. To my nose, it's easily unisex, but you have to enjoy rose. I find this scent totally dark and sexy as I'm totally obsessed with rose at the moment.

This is a pretty amazing deal considering that 100 ml of CDNI can be had for under $30 whereas 100 ml of NdN is typically more than $300. I still prefer NdN over CDNI, but if I couldn't afford NdN anymore, I wouldn't feel too impoverished with a bottle of CDNI.

I expected a deep/heavy fragrance. This on skin and clothes has the vicks smell that some have mentioned. So disappointed. Will let it sit a couple of months and try again.

Loveeee❤️. Fell in love w/ TF NDN at the store but they were out of samples to try before splurging. Heard this was a dupe so I blind bought same day and I just love it. I think it’s actually perfect for summer cos it’s a nice cool contrast to the hot weather. Just like I prefer to wear my summer scents in the winter. Pairs nicely w/ my Delina Exclusif…

Madyana

Dark chocolate, jammy rose and earthy patchouli. What else can the most beautiful rose be?

louis7391

Well this is impressive. Yes the opening blast is harsh, as is the case with the male version of this (Creed Aventus clone). But give it 5 minutes and it is great. Sure it doesn’t have the truffle note or richness of Tom Ford Noir de Noir, but everything else it manages to imitate. And if my sample of TF NDN is anything to go by, the new batches have terrible longevity/performance. This on the other hand is solid (not quite as powerful as the man version).

At first sniff, strong, boozy, smokey, patchouli and then I get the rose, slightly powdery, and the tiniest sweetness that takes the edge off. To be honest, it is a bit too much in the beginning and I could not wear this sprayed anywhere around my face. I grow roses, crocus, geraniums, and violets and I don't detect anything but the rose scent. Maybe the patchouli just over takes them. After about 30 mins this goes from a like to a love. It becomes a tad spicy, warm, woody, creamy vanilla scent on my skin, patchouli and rose are still there but it's not loud and in your face as it was at first. I live in the SE, USA and even though I like this scent, I can only wear it on the coldest (20-30 degrees) winter days/nights(not many). I actually spray one time on the top of my forearm and tap with the other and it's more than enough juice for me and everyone around me to smell it. Last at least 8 hrs. Super Sexy on the dry down. Unisex fragrance for sure, imo. Very affordable but I wouldn't blind buy it. If you can't find a sample to try it, I would suggest purchasing the body spray.

The Wolf

I blind bought this because I think Noir de Noir is a masterpiece and I lost an auction on an original bottle of that fragrance. Saw this on eBay for 25 bucks and thought to myself, what the hell let's give it a try.
Like many Armaf, they struggle with the opening and this is no different. However they nailed the dry down. You get 80% of the experience with this.

The truffle from the TF is not here, but the chocolate saffron rose is here.
This is a rich seductive type scent. Cold weather nighttime exclusive. Projects very strongly and lasts 8 hours without breaking a sweat. This can also be layered with with TF Oud Wood or Versace Oud Noir and it smells phenomenal.

It also makes a great bedtime fragrance. The chocolate patchouli and amber is very relaxing. Worth every penny.
A suitable and cost effective replacement for TF Noir de Noir.

sky76sky

Beautiful budget Noir de Noir scent.

This is a rich, deep, unfurling red rose dripping with the olfactory equivalent of liquid gold & inky black. It’s a very smooth & sultry blend of rose jam, patchouli & oud which is a real crowd pleaser.

It’s not as deep, dark & intense as NdN but, for the price, it is a safe blind buy if you enjoy that scent.

Lasting power is reasonable & moderate sillage.

Glad to have this along with NdN - great little scent!

I have a vintage bottle of a discontinued Avon fragrance called Extraordinary.... I cannot believe how similar they smell. CDNI for women is a little bit more deep and exotic smelling though. It makes me wonder if Tom Ford stole the Avon formulation idea lol! Have never smelled TF NDN. I love the complexity of the notes and, before I was not a big fan of Oud, but this one I really like. A white peppery spicy chocolate kind of oud, and the rose is very nice. This was a fantastic blind buy I would definitely recommend, especially if you want to try a (VERY) different kind of rose. Longevity and sillage are beast mode so spray cautiously.

Kitb20

I love this heavy hitter. It is so woody, rosy and sexy. It smells like a much more expensive perfume say Portrait of a Lady. It's rare I blind buy and fall in love but I did today. It's been hot today and I think this is a cool weather scent but wow! Great bottle too

t3nlikescookies

As others have pointed out, the opening is aggressive, caustic and sometimes borderline unbearable. I blind bought the bottle and my first association after the initial spray was urine. After repeated use, the fragrance finally grew on me. The drydown is worth the wait. I get a lot more spices than rose. Males beware, this is by all means not a masculine scent, despite what some youtubers claim. It's perfectly unisex, but not everyone will be able to pull it off.

Nyrahe

I bet that this is the kind of perfume which is worn by vampires. Not like those from Cullen's family but the old, classic vampires like Volturi family. With antique fashion, long black coats and deadly pale skin. The rose in it isn't the rose that you get from your boyfriend on the anniversary. The rose in it is the dry sad rose petals in the vampire coffin that are left there from the funeral. And those earthy/woody notes from the wooden coffin being burried in the ground for so many years. Or maybe something that Morticia Adam's would've wear. This is what I thought right after i sprayed it and my opinion remained the same after so many times trying it again. You need to be careful with this one or you can scare people easily. Perfect for the halloween night tho.

Mariana Buonora`s comment below is 100% correct. I purchased this and liked it, but didn`t love it. After reading Buonora`s post about the poor opening, I started ignoring the pungent opening (3-5 minutes) and just paid attention to the dry down which is far better and makes this definitely worth buying. I think a lot of people (including me) might be paying too much attention to the opening.

Allowed to sit for a year; this stuff is amazing. Gourmand and rosy. A high-quality fragrance in a cheesy bottle with a great price.
