Omnia Paraiba by Bvlgari is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Omnia Paraiba was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Passionfruit and Bitter Orange; middle notes are Passion Flower and Gardenia; base notes are Cacao Pod and Vetiver.

Bvlgari presents a new addition to the Omnia collection in October 2015, the fragrance called Omnia Paraiba, named after Brazilian semi-precious stone Paraiba Tourmaline, known for its blue – green color. The fragrance is an exotic floral - fruity and woody.

Perfumer Alberto Morillas focused on passion flower scent, inspired by Brazilian jungle, beaches and ocean. Bigarade (bitter) orange and Maracuja passion fruit open the composition and lead to the floral heart of passion flower and Brazilian gardenia. The base notes include vetiver and cocoa.

The face of the perfume is model Edita Vilkeviciute. The fragrance is available as 25, 40 and 65 ml Eau de Toilette.

I adore this fragrance. It is rare in that it is a watery, passion fruit, tropical scent without coconut and without heavy base notes. No one is trying to be clever here by adding "interesting notes" like some bark note we've never hear of - the vetiver and cacao are soft enough to add depth without getting weird on us. Definitely a spring/summer scent however, it does work very well on overcast spring days. I am really wondering about Bulgaria's decisions with the Omnia line.

Usually, even if I don't prefer a flanker or one of the scents in a house's line of fragrances, I can usually understand their thinking when discontinuing a fragrance - based on common/general public tastes. But I truly don't get Bvlgari with their Omnia scents. They really seemed to push Omnia Crystalline (toilette) - truly, there have been several times I could not smell the scent straight out of the bottle, it is so light. Omnia Coral is just a bland, common scent - Amethyst is old fashion simple lilac reminding me of drug store cologne. The original parfum is dated - I do like the Indian Garnet somewhat (discontinued) - but the Paraiba is so wonderful and lasts much longer than any of the other toilettes. Sadly it was what Bulgaria chose to discontinue.

I was very proud of myself a few weeks ago when I pulled out my Spring/Summer perfumes - I had forgotten that at the end of last season, I purchased 2 bottles - they are unopened so I will have Paraiba for a few more years. Hooray!

This truly smells like a tropical vacation by the beach.

Absolutely love this smell, the passion fruit is refreshing and enjoyable. So sad it’s been discontinued.

Omnia Paraiba is exotic, tropical, aquatic, fresh and incomprehensibly clean. To my nose, all of the notes are present at the different stages of the development, exactly in the way that they're listed. There's only one component that I think is there, but is however unlisted, and that is a clean, white musk.

From the bottle, I smell something akin to either diswashing liquid or laundry detergent. It's a mix of vague fruitiness, a clean, soapy musk and an exotic, spicy floral. But it smells almost frothy.
Once sprayed the first thing I get is aromatic citrus. Rather than fresh, the citrus here is bitter yet sweet and ripe, making me think of kumquats. The tartness gives way to the jammy, tropical fruitiness of the passionfruit. This is also where I am starting to get the white musk and gardenia, with the exotic floral that is passionflower. It stays a mix of these things for a while, giving me wafts of tropical fruits and flowers until the end of the drydown when it takes on a more powdery character as the cacao and vetiver remain. These two substitute the initial soapy muskiness with something more powdery, yet it remains perfectly clean-smelling througout. The cacao and vetiver combo also somehow reminds me of bitter almond at times and eventually loses the soapy quality, without becoming earthy.

I have a suspicion that this composition shines brightest at disgusting levels of heat and humidity.

kruk666

i'm not liking it too much, it's fine but not made for me. maybe i should try it on summer but it doesn't stand out too much. it almost doesn't have sillage at all and that lowers the rating.

fragrance_girl

This is my favorite scent from the Omnia line and one of my favorite scents for a tropical summer vacation.
An amazing tropical, aquatic, summer scent.
I would wear it for vacation in the Caribbean or Hawaii.
I went through a 3ml decant and I regret not buying a bottle. Bvlgari should bring it back.

sem413

I worked my way through about half a bottle in 5 months, and I liked it! I used this for work, as it's very office-friendly, you really can't overspray, and it's very tropical-soapy. I can really smell the passionfruit, some orange, but everything beyond that was soapy and musky.

lmnsvgz

I just smell bitter citrus - the bitter orange possibly. MEH. A bit soap-like in the drydown.

Shahrzaad

This should be one of the most well made summer scents ever. Great both for day to day and summer evenings. The only reason I don’t wear this often is I am worried about running out and not being able to find a bottle as it seems to have been discontinued. That being said, longevity and projection aren’t that great. You should spray on your clothes and keep respraying.

gpesav

This was my signature scent from 2016-2018. I went through so many bottles of this. I would receive so many compliments on it from family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers. My mother, who has passed, loved this perfume on me. She wasn’t a big perfume wearer and disliked pretty much everything I liked to wear except for this one. Sadly it is now discontinued but I still have 2 back up bottles. I like to smell it every now and then to bring back those memories of hanging out with my mom. It sometimes brings tears to my eyes when I smell it, even though she never wore it herself. To me it just smells clean, floral, and slightly tropical. Almost like a glade plug in, but in the best way. Bvlgari rarely misses for me.

joikgirl

This is my first ever blind buy. I have been looking for a passionfruit fragrance quite some time now.

I get a heavy bitter orange scent but no passionfruit at first but when it starts to dry down- you finally get it. Very much a citrus and fresh fragrance, not that fruity. I am not disappointed but maybe when I wear in the summer, I might like it more.

Veronica1962

This just smells like celery to me I don’t know why it’s a bit bizarre, it does have a very light fruity scent. 3/10

johannagipperth

It's definitely a summer scent - it's warm and fruity, and something you want to wear when going to dinner after a full day at the beach. I like this one, but it doesn't make the top rankings for me - the longevity and sillage isn't great and it's not a memorable scent. It's a safe choice.

Ms.Olive

I enjoyed paraiba for quite a long time, my very last spray of this was on beautiful sunny day in Dubrovnik few weeks a go, lasted long time on my skin, always feel amazing every time I wear it, how I miss it a lot!
For me it was the best spring/summer fragrance, never I thought that summer fragrances can smell elegant like this, unfortunately won't be able to get it anymore.

Sarah0623

I’ve used this perfume during the Winter and it smells great but it wasn’t exceptionally amazing. Recently I used this perfume on a very hot sunny day on a trip to the city. It smelled AMAZING. Hot muggy temperatures where you sweat like crazy really bring out the best of this perfume. It smells fruity but not too sweet and the floral notes in it blend very nicely with the tropical flavor. Longitivity is not the best but it’s not horrible either. This is a great perfume to wear in the summer and I totally recommend it.

LindaL100

this is another 1 of my fav perfumes to wear, the lovely fruity passionfruit note is very prominent in this, it has a beautiful tropical fruity scent definitely a more summery perfume, but you can still wear this all year round.

fem_phoenix1109

Something in this reminds me of my cat's litter box when it needs to be cleaned.

bren400

This flanker has more depth than Omnia Coral. The top notes are so fresh and fruity! I am still testing to see if it's a worthy purchase. I do like these Omnia bottles and have yet to find the right scent suited for me (that is, if there even IS one) 🙁 I never liked the original Omnia Crystalline because to me, it smelled as if you just finished taking a shot of Gin. It felt like they tried to dupe Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue and failed miserably. The strong alcohol scent lingers in the opening and I don't remember it ever changing throughout. I felt the alcohol coming out of my pores!

Susi.312

Hawaiian Punch is what I get. Very sweet and tropical, like liquid candy. If sweet and tropical is your thing, you would love this! I love the color of the bottle!

Not for me...

Update:. Only 2 hours later and it is completely gone. 😳

Karok

I love this fragrance. It's really fresh and unique because of the passion fruit! I'm very sorry that it's now discontinued. It`s hard for me getting new bottles.

melanie mother or foxes

I came across this by accident. My friend at work had the purple one and i loved the bottle. As I was scrolling through other perfumes by bvlgari I noticed this bottle. Its my favourite colour and paraiba (tourmaline) is my favourite gemstone so I had to have it.
Its fruity, juicy, sweet and reminds me of my time in Barbados.
Its my new summer signature scent. Performance isn't the best but a get a good 2 hours without spritzing again. It smells so nice I don't care how many times I spray it tbh. Its now discontinued but I always have a back up 👍👍a true gem just like its namesake .

SuperSueChick

Its a yummy juicy, fuzzy peach by the pool.
The best peaches I've ever had weren't in Georgia. They were in Pennsylvania.
A small Amish stand on the side of the road. The peaches were the size of softballs, and were the sweetest most juiciest ever. One had to slurp the watery peach liquid like when one bites into a half sliced orange.
(✿◠‿◠) I would describe Omina Paraiba as an ~AQUATIC PEACH~
It is a fun, delicious summer fragrance.

Christinageor10

I love this fragrance! It opens with a lovely passionfruit and orange and I get the cocoa and floral notes. It is smooth, fresh and creamy at the same time. You can definitely overspray this one and an aura of the fragrance stays for about 6 hours. This is understated and classy, perfect for spring and summer. Full bottle worthy and 8/10 ❤.

Nickj3216

I got this as a blind buy around 3 or 4 months ago I was looking for an Passionfruit fragrance and this is the one this is the only Bvlgari fragrance I have in my collection and I was happy to have it sadly it’s been discontinued this is a lovely fragrance i will hold into this cuz I’m scared I won’t be able to get it again

RainbowGirl

Something must be wrong with my bottle. I struggled to smell the notes when I first tried this, but with the previous reviewer comparing this to a sweet cocktail? ...my bottle must have turned.

To me this smells clean. I get zero fruity notes. I will try very hard this weekend to smell something sweet.

I shall return! FOR SCIENCE!!

Edited to add: I dug this out of my closet, and I actually do smell the passion fruit. It is very sour at first, so not sure how I missed it the first time around. I get that same sour passion fruit note in Bvlgari Rose Goldea Blossom Delight. Almost a lemon sour. However, that sourness does fade in Paraiba, and then it becomes a light sweet passion fruit, with a little light floral. I do not get the cacao or the vetiver.

I miss the clean musky wood scent underneath, that I get in some of the other Omnia scents, but this still smells clean. Great for the office in the summer months.

I would not consider this a sweet cocktail scent, but I don't really drink passion fruit cocktails, so what do I know?

Edited again to add: I do get the cacao in the drydown. Very light skin scent.

aljalex

This is a sweet fruity tropical punch in a bottle. My teenage self would probably love it, my current self not so much. It feels almost sickly sweet, as if someone spilled a passion fruit cocktail all over me. The longevity isn't great either.
People who love sweet and very tropical fruity fragrances will probably really love this.

LawmaLlama

I really like this for the 20 minutes I can smell it. The passion flower really shines and I agree with others, it is well grounded. Sadly longevity is horrible, so I don't have time to waste on it. Getting rid if it.

Treslicious

I actually love this one. It’s everything I expected for a light-hearty, tropical, summer scent. The passion fruit and orange in here actually smell realistic and succulent, unlike the other chemically sweet “fruity” scents the market is flooded with. I smell a musky floral note in a background, not screaming gardenia for me (I don’t have much experience with gardenia scents. I identify it as a watery, green floral with no sweetness). I also detect a nutty note and an earthy, masculine note in the dry-down which were the cocoa and vetiver, giving the scent some depth instead of spilled fruity punch and making me mark it as as a unisex scent. It’s not a one-of-a-kind scent, but it delivers what it promises.

I have also tried coral, amethyst, crystalline. This is my favorite so far. Hate this bottle. Always accidentally spray while picking it up. Can’t imagine carrying it in a bag.

juliakatdavis

I love this. It’s beachy, tropical, cool-yet-sweet, and easy to wear. Really fresh and likable. Performance is not great, so I keep a tiny bottle in my bag and apply it throughout the day.

Coalita

Clean, light, unobtrusive. Very bright perfume. Ideal for warm and sunny days. Office safe. I wish it lasts longer.

punky9791

I've been testing different flankers from the Omnia collection, and this is the one that's on trial today. My initial impressions: clean...soapy...a hint of generic, synthetic lime mixed with pine. This, to me and ON me, smells like a freshly-cleaned bathroom, complete with Pine Sol and some citrus (mainly lime) scented cleansing wipes. It's more citrus, not sweet and fruity, and while it may be a wonderful fragrance with someone else's chemistry, it's not working for me.

icelovepf

Wondeing with this perfume when i smell this perfume i feel like carsick and make me wanna throw up. I don't know why when i smell this perfume that remind me of grandma's soap i'm so sorry TT. But bottle very beautiful i love this collection.

BeauBelle

I see a lot of comments saying this is an immature fruity fragrance but I couldn’t disagree more, I find the vetiver & cacao in the base take the edge off the fruit and gives me a very sophisticated tropical summer scent. I can just see this as the perfect fragrance for an affluent independent woman sunning herself on a tropical beach, a playful fragrance but with a sophisticated base that lets you know she’s boss. I adore this on my skin and get compliments when I wear it, I’ve been through 3 bottles and am gutted it’s discontinued. RIP to the only fruity perfume I have ever loved.

JacquelineRenee

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It's got a powerful passion fruit opening that I adore. It reminds me of being on the beach in Hawaii sipping on a passion fruit margarita with a rim of Li Hing Mui powder. Would I consider this a more youthful scent? Absolutely. That aside, I'm in my 40's, and in this stage of my life, I just want to wear what makes me happy. I'm not looking for scents that make me smell older than I am, nor am I looking for scents that are outrageously dark and mysterious. When I first sprayed this scent on my wrist, my eyes literally crossed. I have never smelled anything so delicious and refreshing. Pariaba is a passion fruit/gardenia gem with a green vetiver base paired with a hint of spice from the cacao. A truly divine scent that always makes me smile. Seeing as this fragrance is named after the blue/green Pariaba tourmaline, you definitely get the 'blue/green' tropical vibe minus the coconut that is usually prevalent in fragrances like this. If you do not care for juicy fruity scents like this, run far and fast from Pariaba; however, if you are looking for a juicy fragrance that is light and fun, Pariaba is for you. Alberto Morillas created a true gem here. One of my favorite fragrances of all time.

tryhardcomplex

this to me smells like a passion fruit mojito. it's very childish and tropical but also quite nostalgic to me because I've used it for so long.

mhobol

When I was young, I never needed anyone, and making love was just for fun

those days are gone...........

This is a bit childish, but it is fresh and nice! It is the perfume I should have had in my teenage years, maybe also in my early twenties, when I was wearing Bright Crystal, just because everyone else did. I never liked it, because of the sharp synthetic smell that ruined the freshness.
In real life, passionfruit - or maracuya - is almost like sourmix - 60/40 on the sour side. It makes the teeth sing and works great in cocktails, especially with pisco or mezcal. But this perfume has a round tropicality that makes it smell like a not too sweet longdrink you enjoy while you wait to get old enough to drink the good stuff. You're still pretty innocent.
When you do get old enough, and find yourself hangover after a long night with red wine and you look a your day planner, realising it is work tomorrow, and the planner looks exactly the same as it did the last year - you wonder where the heck your innocence and guts went. The world used to be at your feet! What a wonderful and depressing perfume.

Take this with a pinch of salt. I've got pms, so I feel dramatic today. So much longing. Yes. On a regular day I would probably just write:

This perfume may not be special, but the passionfruit and woody notes still makes this a fresh, fruity round and pretty scent. A summery and youthful fragrance! Nice for people under the age of 24.

poppyetpear

smells like musty sea water🤢

cristinap9587

This perfume reminds me of nothing I've ever smelled, at least not on me. The minute I laid my "nose" on it, I knew I had to go back and get it.

I associate this smell with summer, sipping cocktails on a sandy beach, gazing at a turquoise sea. I only wear it in summer of when I miss the sea so bad! The sillage is not very strong and the whole scent is very well balanced. To me it smells watery, airy and tropical. I love it's unique smell, I think it's one if my favorites of all time.

Plummy22

So this opens up tangy and fruity, but kind rotten or fruit that's turning. I don't like the opening at all, I can see how some might like it. To me this smells like some sort of sharp fruity laundry detergent in the first moments of dry down. After 5 to ten minutes, the fruit does soften up and become more tropical and pleasant. I do think the fruit notes are okay after dry down but it reminds me of like a cheap but decent body spray, not a Bvlgari fragrance. The mid notes are pretty delicate, soft florals, I do think the Passionflower is unique and interesting. When the base notes become prominent is when I like this fragrance the best. I like the soft cocoa notes and it definitely brings a lot more balance to that sharp opening. Over all, this is a so-so fragrance. It's not my cup of tea, but I do appreciate the uniqueness in the passionflower and passionfruit notes. Not a blind buy, try a sample first.
I actually got a headache while wearing this.

TammyRoxanne

Maybe it’s too soon to review this after only one test, so I may add an edit later, but to me this is a light, citrus scent. I can only smell it when I put my nose directly on my wrist and even then it’s quite delicate and faint. However today is the coldest day we’ve had so far this winter, so I would like to try it again in the summer! I have read through many of the reviews here, and after I read each review, I sniff my wrist again trying to find the tropical note everyone mentions! To me tropical fruits are sweet and all I can smell is a true citrus scent. To me fruity is one thing and citrussy is another. The more I think about it though, passionfruit has a very similar smell and taste to grapefruit, so maybe what I consider citrus, others consider tropical. I just always thought tropical fruits were very sweet like pineapple for example. Anyway, it’s a very light inoffensive scent, not bad at all but probably not one I would purchase.

sarahherbs

This is my no brainer, easy grab during the summer. Its simplicity makes it shine. It’s light, bright, fresh, fruity, and tart. I bought this for like $30 at a discounter and it’s turned out to be a staple. It’s nothing groundbreaking or revolutionary. I wear it when I need a break from my strange fragrances. It’s like a rerun of Seinfeld or Friends when you need a break from Black Mirror. 😋

Cherry_Darling

Not bad, tart fruity, the first thought I had was: Spearmint Gum. There's definitely a minty quality here. I wouldn't say this smells like passion fruit but it does give a tart exotic vibe. Nice soft floral drydown, if I wrack my brain I can imagine some frangipani or ylang in there. Ultimately pretty low on lasting power unfortunately but I wasn't expecting much from this brand so not surprised if a little pleasantly that the beginning is pretty nice.

Edit: Drydown is pretty nice! Feels woody almost coniferous I guess the vetiver and cocoa. Definitely still there so lasts longer than I initially thought. The exotics are gone but a nice niche woody is there.

aray

Let me start by saying that I really really wanted to love this. I adore the Omnia bottles, and I typically love a good fruity freshie. This, however - and I'm not exaggerating here - is truly one of the most terrible fragrances I've EVER smelled.

I was super curious about the maracuja or passion fruit note as I absolutely love the smell and taste of the drinkable juice. This fragrance, however, does something I cannot quite describe and it is NOT pretty. My guess is it's the bitter orange. Window cleaner comes to mind. Horribly chemical, bitter, and headache inducing.

I'm going to give this another shot layered with maybe a musk or very woody linear scent to see if it can eat up that bitter orange some but if that doesn't work then this will go down in my personal fragrance history as "worst of the worst". So bummed. :(

Nicoley Polie Olie

I'm so sad this is discontinued because it is so fruity and refreshing! It is kind of nostalgic to me because it reminds me of the citrus scent that the old Disneyland handstamps had haha. It's not exact but it has that familiar, citrus/floral scent that I love

poohbearwinnie

UGH, why must this have such bad staying power! This is the best fruity summer perfume and smells like vacation but the longevity is awful! I can barely smell it on after 2 hours and I spray this all over my clothes. This scent also brings back memories of the royal sonesta hotel in Boston, maybe it was their air diffuser or something, but this smells exactly like that hotel!

Malleable

I'm looking for a juicy fruity tropical scent and this one is pretty nice! Loving the passionfruit and mango I get in this one. Longevity seems to be a bit lacking though. Might be full bottle worthy but I'd like to test a few other tropical scents first.

crystalplanet0013

Pure fruity, tropical, zesty summer yumminess in a bottle.
If you are fond of passionfruit, this will blow your mind!
Yes, it's very sweet, innocent and inoffensive, kinda delicious shampoo at some level... But hey, I've never come across a perfume where passionfruit is so clear and loud. Mouthwatering.
Bought this a few years ago and haven't used it in ages, I grabbed it yesterday out of curiosity, and in order to leave a review here. Just have to say: Longevity IS A BEAST! At least on my skin type! Sprayed it yesterday at 8pm, now its 2pm the next day, I sniff my arm and and I swear it's still going strong 18 HOURS LATER!
It's not complex at all, I always get the same orangy-passionfruity smell (from the very opening until now, almost a day later lol)
Young and lively. To wear with a smile, a playful heart and bright colours, other way = won't work.
I think it's a safe choice for relatively young woman wanting to feel fresh, uplifted and juicy during a bright summer day!

RitzySpritz

This is what I get for buying a perfume because I liked the bottle. It’s like a fruity body mist for teenagers. Vanishes within 30 minutes.

torquemadaxiii

When you are so tired of winter you want to speed up spring arrival and cheat the grey and cold. So one tends to use something lighter, fresher and more playful that one usually does. If some heavy fragrances are fine in the summer, spring mood dictates its own rules and you find yourself putting back favorites Contessa, Confetto or Keep Glazed. Today I fished Omnia Paraiba from my shelf and this is it! it is very gratifying to smell tropical fruits while you look at the window and there is snow, snow snow. You feel that whatever, these are winter last attempts to intimidate us...

Apiaceae

The smell of a day at the beach: Fruity, fresh and truly beautiful. Nothing exciting, but overall perfect companion for a day in the sun.

octobertragedy

This is such an exotic, passion fruit, mandarin, mango juice. It has a very refreshing and watery vibe, one of the few fragrances that take me instantly to a far away, tropical beach. Not at all the typical intoxicating, citrusy and coconuty exotic fragrance.
The thing that had my attention at first was the its very suggestive color. I do love it, the longevity is not that great, but sill I will repurchase...
In terms of notes it is the best from the range, imo.
If you are not bothered by the poor longevity and you are in search for a different kind of summery, refreshing fragrance, I strongly recommend this one.

mevans

Tropical fruit, passionfruit, but the bitter orange keeps it from going the way of suntan lotion. It brings to mind a delicious tropical cocktail with an umbrella pick holding some sweet fruits and served up at a tiki bar. Great vacation scent and definitely a summer one. This is one I only wear on occasion because it's a bit too much for everyday wear. I'm happy to have it for the right occasions though.

Adrien02

Without exception, all the fragrances I have experienced from the house of Bvlgari I have either liked or loved; Blv Notte being my favorite. Having slept on that one and not buying it up when it was affordable I have been on a search for more at an affordable price or a newer one to like/love.

Having sampled Pariaba in a store, I thought this would be one I should add to my collection, but alas, upon obtaining it, this fragrance unexpectedly seems to only be compatible for wearing when I am going to exercise. . . .(applying it now only reminds me of sweet-smelling post-workout body odor). , but I will smell awesome at the gym :D :D :D!

KylieBooFace

I scored a mini splash of this for cheap. The bottle of is SO PRETTY. Its "muskiness" reminds me so much of D&G Light Blue it's amusing. Just replace the citrus with passionfruit. This is a very sharp fragrance like its sister Omnia Pink Sapphire. It's definitely clean, but it doesn't really smell fruity to me. I kind of lump it in with Versace Bright Crystal Absolu, Prince Parfums 24K Rose Gold, and all those other bitey non-sweet citrus perfumes that are so popular.

slvratta

I loved the scent but it didnt last so much, just an hour or so

Holli

This is a unique way to go if you're looking for something fresh. I'm not super into fresh or citrus, but I wanted this because of the passionflower note. They grow along our fence where my daughter always picks them and brings them in. Their smell is equal parts awesome and revolting to me. Anyway, I like this. It smells outdoorsy. The citrus is definitely there but not quite off putting to me. If frags go sharp on your skin, this one might be a problem. For me though, another casual warm weather bvlgari, and I am pretty satisfied.

alexisdavid1892

A pretty everyday casual scent. I'm not really a fan of fruiy scents but this is an excemption. It smells floral fruity on me, yet it doesn't smell too young or too childish. I had the mini travel size of this. Not too sure if I will purchase atleast the 25ml but I kinda miss the scent.

Bubbles1964

I’m a fig and fig leaf fan. Unfortunately, on my skin only three words come to mind when I tried this at the duty free shop: fig hair spray. Regretting that I sprayed it on my wrist. The Bvlgari Omnia line seems to be a bad choice for me as none have worked with my chemistry.

MWROMO

This is gorgeous scent, vibrant with sweet but calm accords.
To appreciate any fragrance you must wear it for more than "I have tested it in the shop" scenario. First sniff is usually very deceiving. You may approach any fragrance with expectations, you see fragrance first before you smell it. Bottle can be misleading often and not reflecting on what the juice inside it is. So please don't judge any fragrance after one sniff...it's unprofessional.
I have all Omnia fragrances and Paraiba is one of my favourite fragrances. Well blended notes that are lights but with sweet accords. I wore it and experience this amazing fragrance during the day, evening, on skin, on my clothes, in warm days and when it was colder.

Herestoshuttingup

A pretty generic fruity tropical scent. To me this was a bit dated and reminded me of something teen girls wore when I was in high school back in in the early 2000's. The longevity and sillage were awful. Even when sprayed on my clothing I got very little of either.

marietita

After drying and a few hours it smelled clean.. I don't know how to put it... Like a clean scent but really really weak

Flemeth

Slightly generic and linear tropical maracuja scent. Pleasant, but quite weak. Reminds me of deo sprays aimed at teenage girls.

AHeartLikeMine

People seem to be smelling two versions of this. The first is the one I smelled when I tested this fragrance at Ulta: the sweet tropical fruits. The second is what I smelled after I ordered a mini version: aquatic and beachy (hints of coconut and salt). I'm disappointed because I enjoy the fruit version, but I'm not a fan of aquatics.

justfloral

I must agree with GiareDiLuca.
I've tested all colors of Omnia and, sorry, I couldn't pick any single note out. They smell like shelves with deodorants in stores (mix of various scents).

GiareDiLuce

So many positive reviews on Paraiba and I'm sorry to go against the flow, but I totally disliked it.
I tried it in store on my wrist and it is so fruity it is sickening. It's not complex, it's not balanced. Thank god I did not buy it blindly.

Herestoshuttingup

Tropical, fresh, and fruity. Something in this reminds me of a tropical fruit bubble gum I chewed a lot as a kid. It's a bit boring and standard. I agree with another reviewer who said this seemed like an Escada scent. I enjoyed it when wearing it in the summer, but unfortunately the sillage and longevity are pretty much ZERO.

KrissyKris

Got it as a gift from my sister after testing it several times at Sephora. I brought it with me to Florida, for hot days. It does smell like ocean (salty and fresh) and fruits. However, I have to say the lasting power is weak. I can’t smell it after 2h not sure if anosmic to it, so should have checked if others can smell it on me. But I love the scent so definitely a spring/summer fragrance. Love omnia series

Antares811

Fresh, delicate, beautiful scent.
Perfect for summer, the lasting power is moderate.

SheShe

I like Bvlgari perfumes in general and this one doesn't disappoint. Good for spring and summer. Reminds me of sea and jungle. It's slightly sweet with a hint of spice. Fresh one. Sillage is weak to moderate. Not a must have but a pleasant one. Blue. This perfume is water- blue.

guillermostf

Well, it's fresh, right. But in a soapy vintage way (grandmother bathroom would be the accord in the first 10 minutes: soap mixed with hair spray and anything else I don't like 'cause it makes me sad).
The dry down is more acuatic than fruity imo, and this acuatic facet, is really good. I can't get passion fruit in the way I use to find it in another fragrances.
In my country there's a charlie (can´t remember if it was charlie breeze or charlie blue ice or iced) tath have the same wave, but chipier price. At least at the beginning, both are pretty simmilar. In here every girl from 16 to 30 used to smell charlie breeze between 2006 and 2013.

lnoskin

Very fruity and tropical summer scent. Nothing bad to say about it. I got a mini for free and really enjoyed it when I smelled it for the first time. It is also the first omnia I have ever tried. I unfortunately got it after summer and have gotten to wear it much because it's not much of a fall scent. I can't wait to throw it in my purse next summer and see if it is something I would be interested in purchasing in a bigger bottle. I will come back next summer to add on.

Edit: Ok I'm back, about a year late. I use this mini as decoration on my vanity. I like this but its nothing special. I am going to throw it in my purse starting in July and definitely use it up but I will not buy this. But I will keep the bottle for decoration!

basgam

Blind buy. It is fruity but with something sharp at the opening. On my skin it settles as fruit mixed with soft washing powder (seriously). It is pleasant, but it might turn sour on clothes. Summer scent, indeed. And if scents had colours, Paraiba would definitely be the sea-blue/turquoise shade of its bottle.

Phantomias

Bvlgari Paraiba comes in a pretty bottle that's surprisingly hard to open. Maybe it's my aging hands but that little top never fails to give me conniptions ... and the stuff inside is barely worth the effort. Thin and light, there's almost no substance to Paraiba. The best I can say is that the fragrance is unisex, but that's faint praise. The only other Bvlgari scent I own is Diva, so it's no wonder pale Paraiba fails to thrill.

P. fits the bill if a fresh scent is needed, but there are lots of similar frags out there, some with stronger lasting powers. I managed to spill a fair amount on my bedroom floor because of the damn cap and there's no odor! Wth? It's like I spilled water, not perfume.

I'm disappointed by Paraiba and will pass it on to someone else.

Helenagoblet

If his ex whom he is “just friends with” had a signature scent; this would be it.

Bubbly Fizz

It literally smells like tropical fruits and MANGOES!

emailvg

I strongly second ladyjm89's assessment. Such poor longevity it's hardly worth it. It'd be a gorgeous fragrance if it lasted more than an hour.

Bouquet

I bought the .84 size on sale at TJ Maxx, after sampling it elsewhere. This has a similar happy fresh sweet fruity casual summer vibe as Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh, but more exotic.

Smells a bit like tropical Starburst candies. Medium projection, yet on a hot (85 degrees F) day, its lasting power has been 10 HOURS!!!!

Scent: 8/10
Uniqueness: 9/10
Projection: 8/10
Longevity: 9.5/10
Versatility: 2/10

I wore this scent with a light cotton aqua dress, carved Chinese turquoise and freshwater pearl silver jewelry, sunglasses, a wide-brimmed sunhat with a filmy aqua-and-blue patterned scarf tied around it, and metallic sandals.

ladyjm89

I nabbed a 2.2 oz bottle of this for $13.50. I thought I was getting a steal! What I got was five minutes of a gently tropical, fruity floral scent that quickly vanished without a trace!
I get this is an edt, but I own edts that last 8 hours! This was barely five minutes! End conclusion is; it smells nice, but not for long. Not worth full retail! Wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again.

Scent 7/10
Sillage 4/10
Longevity 6/10

It's a 38 c hot summer day like this showed me Paraiba's real strength.

Paraiba smells unprecedentedly fresh!

I can guarantee the hotter it is, the fresher Paraiba smells!

When all you can see and feel on the streets is the heat, sweat, and intensity of humidity, Paraiba is that high note of clean Passion fruit, happy, singing juice next to you wherever you go. It makes the day "lighter". Makes you feel like you and your clothes are clean all day while everyone else are struggling from sweating.

I am so happy I wore this today, very very ozonic and bubbly.

It was a gift and it smelled alright so I kept it. The plastic designed bottle looked comparably cheap compared to other bottles so I don't choose Paraiba often, luckily today I wanted a switch from my normal hot-day perfumes.

Chrysolaga

I like the initial blast of fruit. It smells like grapefruit to me rather than passion fruit, but it dries down to a powdery fragrance that I'm not that fond of. I got the sampler set at T.J. Maxx, and the little bottles are ridiculous to open, and I end up spilling a bunch when I do get it open. I don't like the way the big bottles dispense the perfume either, but all in all I am fond of many perfumes from this house.

LadyIva

My sister bought Omnia Paraiba last week. Both of us love Blvgari fragrances, but she prefers the Omnia series, while I’m more into their ‘noir’ offerings. Paraiba is a very nice salty/tropical/exotic scent; it’s a bit fruitier in the beginning, but then it dries down to mineral salty goodness. It is not particularly strong, but it lasts over 8 hours non stop. Kudos to maestro Albert Morillas for another beautiful creation.

kateridelisle

This was a blind buy for me at as a left over gift box set. I'm pleasantly surprised by its oceanic, tropical scent. A nice beachy, citrus type of fragrance for summer.

PricklyAndHot

So many tropical notes, and delicate fruity floral fragrance in result. Not catchy( Disappointment(((

mattandlayla

An average scent. nothing special. I have crystalline as well. Nice enough smells but just nice. Nothing outstanding.

Scentstrumpet

Delicious salty goodness, and is still going strong nine hours later. Hardly anything lasts on me, ever! I don’t really get fruits here, but salt, herbs, aquatic floral, and some type of white woods. “Paraiba” smells a lot like Jo Malone’s “Wood Sage & Sea Salt,” but not as sweet. It’s also similar to “Ocean Dreams” (Giorgio Beverly Hills version, not the Designer Parfums, Ltd. one), but sadly not as floral, and is slightly muskier.

The search for a clone of GBH’s “Ocean Dreams” continues.

andabri

This smells like POG in perfume form. If you don't know what POG is it's a juice mix that's popular in Hawaii composed of passionfruit, orange, and guava juice (or at least the artificial flavors of it). This smells like POG juice mixed with a fresh aquatic perfume.

If you're familiar with Escada fragrances you can get an idea of what this smells like. First time I sprayed it I immediately thought of Escada. Has a similar vibe to an Escada, but take it up a notch in how refined it smells. Escada scents tend to smell overly sweet or sometimes artificial. This has a similar fruity vibe but it's clean and tropical and fresh. It doesn't get overtly sweet or cloying or chemically or syrupy as a lot of fruity sweet scents do.

I like it. I've gone through a few samples of it (for some reason this has been a frequent free sample when I order stuff online) and it's different from the typical overly sweet fruit scents that dominate the market. Because of its tropical vibe it's different from the orange/grapefruit scents that dominate the citrus fragrance market. And as someone who isn't too fond of coconut, it's a tropical summary fragrance option without coconut (which can be hard to find). Despite the fruitiness, it's distinctly aquatic but it doesn't turn into a shower/soapy or household cleaner or generic men's cologne type of aquatic scent, it just stays fresh, like the air above a clean pool of water surrounded by big green leafy plants on a hot day.

tommy_girl

Even though I tried to convince myself that I already have lots of fruity perfumes, I couldn't resist such a delicious perfume.
It starts with a blast of tropical fresh fruits. I can't name anything in particular, but it's a funny, happy smelling that I never get tired of smelling. The combination of passion fruit and passion flower was a cool idea.In some stages it smells like a fresh version of hypnose lancome, which shares passion flower and some others notes with it. I don't get any cacao, but I wish I could, as I'm a fan of cacao note.
I believe omnia paraiba is the best one in omnia series and I mean it even considering their different characters. This one is comparable with escada perfumes and I say it as a compliment. because I know not many people adore escada fruity punches. but I think even those would not mind smelling omnia paraiba, as it's better than most escada and other fruity perfumes.
I've always found omnia bottles strange, but turquoise is definitely my favorite color and it matches the perfume inside very well.
Unfortunately like all of other bvlgari perfumes, this one has not a great sillage and weak to moderate long lasting power.

evacecilias

I first sensed this aqua colored omnia on a friend and it smelled lovely....Since then I've spared it in the back of my head for later.
Found a 20ml for cheaps and snagged it.
It is not that fruity start on me, just fresh poolside aqua
freshness that after a while meltes pretty easy on my skin,
to a warm womanly body scent.
Wich I now can see reading notes - must be the gardena and chocolate mix. I love it on me and the only minus might be ...disapearance! Might also suit me so well and therefor don't bother me as much - since I love most of the Morillas creations

Carrieberry

It's not that I dislike Paraiba it's just that it seems so untypical for bvlgari and Alberto Morillas to create a fragrance such as this. It is nice and fruity but in my mind something that a celebrity perfume or body spray would smell like. I prefer classier fragrances such as Omnia Crystalline but if I was gifted this fragrance i would probably use it for the beach.

muahah

This reminds me packaged tropical fruit mix juice scent. Only this perfume isn't that sugary sweet as juice and here are added bit more lemon and "blue-ish green". Actually this also reminds me little bit something about house cleaners, but it's not that disturbing. Probably I get this association because of that perfumery "blue". There is something synthetic about this all, but never the less it's nice tropical summer scent. Not too sweet and with refreshing "breeze". On my skin then there is more lemon, then less. With time lemon becomes more scratchy and I can sense cacao. Just nice summer day perfume.

Taxidermy

This is a diet version of Nirmala. Both are centered around passionfruit. They are really similar, except that one is super sweet and heavy and the other is clean.

I was at Saphora recently I finally tested this because other places never had testers and usually I will purchase bvlgari un tested but going by reviews, there was something I just didnt trust with this 1. Just as well I tested it because on paper and on skin there is an offputting smell lurking in this almost like dirt or potting mix. A no for me I cannot stand that problem with this. I will try it again when I have time in case I tested a bad bottle or my nose was off its game but the reviewers who say they smell cat pee, please dont take them offensively as it could prevent you from being very disappointed I can definitely see what they are referring to.

Mellinail

This is a blast of passionfruit to begin, and stays that way for the first hour. The sillage is arm's length on me, and I feel like walking, talking tropical punch.

UnearthlyApothecary

Passionfruit+ bitter orange = cat piss. On my skin at least. I can still kinda like this in a way because I get where it can be really tropical citrus fresh and great but I just don't think I can get past the cat pee vibe.
UPDATE: oddly enough despite the cat pee opening, I really like this, the more I wear it the more I want it, so FB here I come :p
This smells especially great layered with Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant

nicole.brown.hetrick

I bought a bottle several months ago, and I LOVE it! I have received So Many compliments - especially from men! The first time I wore it, a man stopped me to tell me how much he really liked my perfume. He told me that "it was causing [his] endorphins to kick in." LOL

morningviewangel99

My verdict is that I like the scent overall but am not in love. It is a bit too green/herbal for me with a slight lean towards a perfumey fresh aquatic note that I don't usually care for. I didn't pick up much of the tropical fruits and florals, although it is a bit softer and muskier on the drydown, while I like. It was super strong and almost overwhelming for the first hour or so. Strong sillage that radiates outward so I wouldn't recommend wearing it around those who are known to be sensitive to fragrance. I think this fragrance will linger for several hours. If you are interested in a long lasting aquatic/green scent, I would definitely recommend it.

SmellyBliss

Ó meu Deus! This fragrance: I almost have no words. It is one of the most gorgeous scents I have ever experienced. If this is Brasilia in a bottle, I can't wait to visit!

Imagine the most gorgeous day by a glistening aqua coastline, where the azure water laps softly against the white sand. A gardenia sits in your hair while you sip on a sweet, effervescent passion fruit concoction with a passion flower on the rim. All is beautiful with the world while you watch the ocean, sip your drink, and the breeze brings you an olfactory experience that can only be described as paradise.

Upon first spritz, the opening is sharp and gloriously tangy with bitter orange intermingled with passion fruit and passion flower. This smells delightfully fun and flirty, and in true Bvlgari fashion, it smells expensive.

As it warms, the fruitiness succumbs to a watery, yet non-ozonic, tropical film on the skin. After a few hours, it lingers and smells warmly, fruity fresh (this is the cacao pod), and everyone who walks by you will want to come in for a closer sniff.

cookygirl

I was so excited to finally locate a tester for this. I've been meaning to try it for ages.
Unfortunately, this is one Omnia that I don't care for.
I found the orange note very sharp, not like the creamy orange in Indian Garnet. The passionfruit was overwhelming and continued as such well into the drydown.I got some guava note too. All in all I found this one very linear.
Going to give this a pass.

raiza1990

This one is very nice.
I didn´t liked the opening very much, it was an intense, soap-like bitter orange that blew out everything else, but i gave it some time and it developed beautifully. It started then to smell deliciously,a very elegant creamy fruitiness. At this point i can´t detect any particular note, everything is so well blended. It smells expensive and exotic. and it actually did reminded me of my home country, Brazil. so, they made this perfume the right way.
Thumbs up for Omnia Paraíba.

EnergeticCrab

Oh man, I could wear this every day in the summer! It is in that wonderful Passionfruit-Peach-Nectarine category that I love. Succulent and juicy but not just a fruit perfume! An expensive tropical vacation.

In true Fragrantica fashion, people are smelling totally different things in this scent. I get that everyone's nose is different, but Hairspray? Bubblegum? Hawaiian Punch? I used to think that me not picking up on notes like these meant I didn't have a sophisticated nose. But, I am beginning to think it's associations people have with scents rather than those components being actually present. I could see how this would remind one of bathroom freshener with pictures of mangos on the label, but it's so much more than that. Not incredibly unique but a surprise from this brand IMO.

curlykitty8

I love anything in the citrus aromatic group of fragrances despite the fact that they tend to have little longevity and very poor sillage. Having said that, I STILL ADORE them and Paraiba is no exception!
Its notes are a bit deceiving in that as usual Bvlgari does a stunning job of exquisite blending so the final aroma is a tropical melange of fresh, sweet and floral.
I can only imagine how wonderful this would be in hot weather!
A definite must for me.

Annnelii

The branding of the "Paraiba" is just so spot on. The opening notes really do conjure images of Brazilian nature and vivacious women.
Passionfruit and passion flower are strong and smell like the real thing. After dry down beautiful vetiver comes out and STAYS for a long time.
I don't think you can ever go wrong with a Bvlgari perfume. The quality and longevity of this sophisticated perfume surpassed many.

Toronto_pro

Lots of passion flower and passion fruit + some breeze (even though there is nothing watery or ocean-salty in the pyramid).

If you find passion fruit scent attractive - go for it, however, like I said, it's "lighter" and more breezy than simply fruit.

Not long lasting, moderate, I'd say.

Mochagirl

Completely mysterious for me. I didn't like it at the start, or at least didn't find it anything particular, then I bought a 10 ml sample and found myself using it up and missing it. So I bought a 25 ml bottle, and now I'm on the verge of buying a backup. I love the Omnia series, but I think 4 of the 8 are too tart and soapy for my liking. This also belongs to the tart and soapy group, but for some reason this one appeals to me. Top notes are sharp due to the citrus and passion fruit (WHY aren't Blue Curacao, lime and pear listed here among the ingredients, although they are officially and definitely in the notes?), then it starts to soften, and in the end it becomes rounder and softer - possibly due to the cocoa bean -, but not too powdery or sweet. Some commenters say it has a vegetable-like quality to it, and I have to agree, but it only makes it more exciting for me. This scent is surprisingly fresh for me compared to my other favourite fragrances (which are all more powdery, spicy and a bit sweeter), and I'm sure I'll enjoy it even more in the summer.

Rilani

Smells like some window cleaner solution on very first spray. But, oh, it grows beautiful and refreshing in less than one hour. Definitely sweet (but not that sickly sweet) fruity fragrance, no aquatic/ozonic note whatsoever on me. It is like squeezing a handfull of tropical fruits and splash the juices right away onto the body.

Oh, she smells good!

That bitter orange is the most ripest citrus scent i have ever smelled. In this Texas heat it blends beautifully!

zepol

Its extreeemely hot & humid here and Paraiba really cuts through that heat - very refreshing. This scent is a slightly synthetic "summer" fruity freshie devoid of the typical sunblock/coconut/tiare notes that I normally associate with tropical scents. Luckily, I don't get any of the window cleaner smell some people have been writing about. Can't detect the cacao or vetiver notes at all on my skin either, although it does get faintly woody in the drydown. Along with the ripe passionfruit note, Paraiba smells a lot like powdered guyabano/soursop juice mix to me. I agree with @Bouquet that there is a faint sort of Hawaiian Punch vibe, but this doesn't smell cheap and isn't crazy sweet. It's youthful and breezy. Sheer. Projection is decent. I enjoy the first two of hours of this scent the most. Like wearing this during the day or for casual nights out. Not really a fan of most omnia flankers, but I enjoy this one.

Random "update": Recently wore this to a small garden wedding. The reception was outdoors and crazy hot (temp was 35c/95f and NO airconditioning/electric fans/wind - worst combination ever!!). It was absolutely SWELTERING and I swear this scent made the weather that night bearable. After the program, we all got so sweaty dancing and I was impressed by how well paraiba held up. I reapplied before dinner at around 7pm and I could still smell it on myself and on my dress when I got home at 3am. Kept me smelling and feeling fresh and it definitely made a fun night even more fun!

HAPPY JUNE DAY

Like the Paraiba a lot! I did not like it initially, but I think it's charm grows on you. The drydown's gpod on me. I bring the bottle along because it does not last too long on my skin (most frags don't anyways he he he!) Love the green of the bottle! Good buy if you ask me.

dawn.brooks.391

I was so excited about this one,and got myself a decant,as it's a bit more than I like to pay to blind buy a fb.Well,I did initially enjoy the tropical vibe, and the uniqueness of it,but what a disappointment,in longevity and sillage,as they are both non-existent.I have a lot of Omnias, and besides Amethyst, like,if not love them all.But this one, which I am giving its second chance today,is a no-go for me.Too soft, and if I'm being 100% honest, smells like laundry detergent. Not that that is a bad thing, but for the price,I can just wash my clothes in Gain and have the same effect.
It's a shame,as I love the color of the bottle, but not enough to shell out for one. Will finish my decant and be happy I didn't blind buy this one.

cupcakeprincessponies

I enjoy wearing this EDT a lot.

It is light, feminin, easy to wear and remind me of summer... However I get Dolce&Gabbana "L'imperatrice 3" vibes from it!

dglightblue

Beautiful but unique, watery tropical.
No sharp fruit
Not sure how floral
Lasted ok, for an EDT
I shall put on my want list

FloMadrid

I've had it for two months and it's wonderful. It reminds me to Omnia Crystalinne in the middle notes and the 'beach smell' in the starting notes comes back in the heart notes. One of my best from my last discovers, but it should last a little bit more: at the end of the day it only comes up when you go to the shower.

I remember Aquazur from Lancaster as a very very long lasting but fresh perfume, so this can be done.

However, good bought.

lalondem

Ok, I got a sample from Sephora (God bless them!). I can smell this beautiful clean, clean bitter orange, a somewhat tart, or sour if you will, note, that is really appealing to me. (the passion fruit?) The combination smell together is rather grapefruity which is totally great. Slightly tropical, all very subtle and very well put together. I had been concerned about the cacao smelling chocolaty, but not at all. The review down below actually cleared that up. I am finding a slight comparison to Moschino's "Funny" (which actually is my signature scent,(if one does even have a sig scent with so many perfumes)- it must be the bitter orange in both, but the Paraiba has a much cleaner smell. All in all a very good scent!

Happyme2009

Soft, delicate tropical, with dominant maracuja fruit and flower. Naturally the maracuja is very sour and extremely flavourful, but here the perfume has some flowery aroma that removes the sourness and keeps the flavor The cocoa isn't chocolate, and cacao fruit... Most people , unless they traveled to South America and other parts of the world where the cacao tree grows, don't know the taste or raw cacao.... The seeds ( beans ) are covered in a juicy sweet mucus, and they are bitter inside. This perfume recreated amazingly this delicacy.
It is nothing like the fruity juicy Escada scents. It's very delicate and diaphanous . Low silage and poor lasting power, but thrilling for me, as it remids me or some of my most memorable trips. A gorgoeus gourmand without vanilla, sugar, or patchouli.

coreyflames

Such a delight! Tropical and exotic. My misses could smell like this all day and it'll rock my world. Perfect fragrance for a cocktail event or day at the beach.

zombieldehyde

I wanted to love this so much since I have two Bvlgari Omnias already. I expected more since it has an expensive price and both my omnias have great scent and longetivity. This one is a different fragrance but for me, in my opinion, it smells like a car freshener! It does smell cheap compared to the other Omnias. I did not smell any Cacao though. Too bad I did not like it. Love the color and packaging though.

pommegom

First I got a nice tropical vibe with flowers and fruits, but after a few seconds it changed to a carrot smell. I thought I was crazy, so I showed it to my husband and he agreed: it's grated carrots with lemon juice. I felt like a tropical veggie soup wearing this one so I gave up testing, but it's not offensive anyway. The bottle is gorgeous and a bit overpriced.

AngelEuphoria

I get a window cleaner and Trident gum (almost mint) smell from this one, too. It's fresh and light but those notes are definitely there. Thank God for Fragrantica! It really helps to compare noses when judging fragrances. I just purchased more than 20 fragrances for summer. I will be reviewing each to narrow down some favorites.

Soofiya

Very summery and tropical, there is a lot of passion fruit to my nose which I really like and no cacao
Smells the same as trident bubble gums..the tropical fruits flavor and I don't mind to smell just as such a nice smelling bubble gum, happy and youthful but not my most favorite omnia(Amethyst is my fave)
عین آدامس تریدنت چند میوه/استوایی

lalondem

Not a fan of chocolate in my scents, makes me nauseated. Having said that I have not smelled this and that is what is holding me back from seeking it out- that darn cacao ingredient.... Sometimes ingredients are listed and you can barely smell them though.....can anyone tell me if this cacao is soft enough so I won't care if it's there?

Rianna

I do love it when you smell something a bit different. This is different and yes it's expensive but it smells expensive. It's clean, feminine and definately has a Brazilian beach vibe going on. It settles and produces such a clean delicious waft. Some have said they get a 'window cleaner' smell. I think that may be the bitter orange note coming through but it doesn't last and I didn't think of window cleaner whilst I was smelling it, more passion fruit. The first spray is delicious, the middle notes are intriguing, then you go back for the beautiful dry down of clean cacao pod with a hint of vetiver along with the other notes creates a dreamy concoction of elegance well worth wearing and paying for.

minusvminus

I wanted a tropical scent for my birthday and I got one. It is everything I want in that sort of scent. It's fruity, it's got leafy notes. There's greenness to it. That being said, let's cut to the chase. The sillage and longevity are beyond disappointing and for the price tag of 66 dollars for 1.3 oz, I want something with a bit of kick. Maybe it's my chemistry. I'm not sure but I wish I had known before I bought it.

miletas89

This is soooooo nice in the beginning; it's tempting to buy as soon as you spray. It starts out sweet and tropical, but as it dries down, it gets screechy and sharp. A bit of a disappointment for me personally, but on people who like sharp citrusy scents, that's exactly what it could come off as - sharp & citrusy (could be a good thing, depends on what you like)

lulu169

I get the window cleaner smell, too. strange.

margarita.angelova

Huh, I don't know how I feel about this... I was so excited to try it, I love the Omnia series and just looking at the color of this one is mesmerizing. The good thing is that it's different and doesn't remind me of any other perfume. BUT... It does remind of, well, glass/window cleaner. All in all, it's not a bad scent, it's really fruity and summery but it isn't something that great in my opinion.

pri_alip

I was so anxious to try this one that I now regret to state that I'm feeling disappointed. It's fresh and all, and that's okay, but it's kind of flat, I'd even say bland. I was expecting this juicy, delicious passion fruit, but all I get is curaçao blue. Not to mention its lasting power, far from deserving of the name "Bvlgari" from back in the day.

polkadot27

I smell a creamy blend of passion fruit mango and blueberries- it is very yummy smelling slightly gourmand but tropical and fresh at the same time. It has a sort of bubblegum base note and an expensive clothes conditioner dry down which i really find pleasant. Just because a fragrance smells like clothes conditioner does not make it a bad thing pure poison also smells like clothes conditioner and it is a masterpiece. This reminds me of baking and bakery of mango and blueberry tart - it smells very tart to me but is fresh and juicy also- I really love it I have never tried anything like this - when i smell this I am in paradise it is beautiful . the definition of a little heaven on earth!!

tart ripe fresh juicy fruity and oceanic- it is mouthwatering!

My favourite of the Bvlgari Omnia line- I also like Coral but not enough to buy- this one is very unique so I bought it. It is unique among my collection so mouthwatering and tart.

I think this one is very lovely for summer. I'm not sure where it's coming from, but I get a slight sunscreen smell from it sometimes. It reminds me of a summery day walking on the beach. At certain points I also get a fresh clean shower scent. The passion fruit is there for sure and sweet but not too much sweet. It's not very bold and not a night time scent in my opinion. Perfect light, clean, fresh summer scent for day.

moaba

For me ...te best fragrance for summer 2016, and I have a lot of summer fragracies. When I wear it i feel free, fresh and nothing is impossible. Also man like it :)

auroramaria

We had 28 degrees here in Italy today so I wore Paraiba to see how it performs in the heat, it is really enjoyable and lovely plus I was complimented on how good I smelled. It becomes sweeter with time but it also has a very attractive fresh side.
Also sillage is just perfect and longevity is about four hours but after that it becomes a skin scent.
This could easily become a summer signature if you love floral fruity done right

Bajar

I tested it today and I felt so disappointed (moreover I was so annoyed when I found out that every department store in Athens has removed every single bottle of Aqua Divina from Bvlgari shelves in order to promote this new fragrance). For the first 40-45 minutes the smell reminded me just "exotic fruits" bubblegum and nothing else and an hour later things got weird. I smelled again my wrist and had a deja-vu. My beloved old classic Omnia (the only one of the entire collection that I loved with pure and honest passion) was trying for a comeback, but it was so brief that after half an hour the scent completely disappeared. I don't think that this reminiscence of original Omnia is a good reason for me to purchase a bottle of Paraiba. Not only I have to wait about an hour to get the smell I want but also the longevity of this one is quite weak on my skin. So, no, I'm sorry.

millie1980

Didn't really like this one. It starts off with a strong fruity, citrus burst, but not long after turns to an artificial, oranges and dark brown sugar scent - which sounds ok, but it's cloying and just doesn't suit me at all. Not my thing.

mj_naja

I am so sorry but I don't like this perfume like I imagine the first time this perfume came out. I only like the top note. After that I smell salty and something that made me headache. I think the top note is very fresh beautiful and luscious fruity flowery, but after 2 hours the scent developed into something smell weird. Sillage not much and longivity around 6 hours on my skin.

Kuroshio

Did anyone else notice cat pee smell in it?

Oamae

Disappointment. The moment I saw the release for this, I wanted to try it. I avoid tropical scents because they tend to just be an overload of pungent and acidic fruit, but this one is much more soft and gentle. It has a nice 'tropical' vibe to it, yet still remains interesting and clean at the same time. It last about an hour before it becomes a run of the mill clean citrus scent, slightly creamy base. So where I was hoping it would develop into something even more interesting, it flat-lined. It reminded me of how it might feel to be obsessed with a celebrity who is just so interesting yet still cool, and then you hang out with them and they're the most boring person you've ever met.

Ohhh god or ohh Alberto Morillas !!!
Thank you for this scent. It will make you feel wonderful if you dont have a problem with fruity tropical fragrances.
Very good combination, passion fruit and flower with cacao.
When I smell it ,I become happy with a satisfied smile on my face. I love it.
It is perfect for summer especially if you are thinking about spending some time in the tropical island :)
It lasts a lot on me.
You will feel mostly tropical fruit and I also feel peach in it. Then gardenia will appear but dominated by passion flower. And when it dries down cacao will accompany them. It will smell like heaven.

relativelystoic

This is scent is so close to Anna Sui - Secret Wish and Ferragamo's Incanto Charms. I want to buy this but I don't want duplicate scents in my collection.

smellagent

Love it! Passion fruit is big and juicy. A little citrus and creamy gardenia. Perfect sillage. Will be one of my summer go to frags. 8/10

kristinejane

I smell GUAVA? why is it not listed on the notes?

Rissatish

Spritzed this on a test paper at Ulta the other day and finally had some time to sit with it. Having lived in Brasil for a year when I was 16 years old, I may be a bit biased. This scent is not trying to suit a particular woman, rather Paraiba is trying to suit the spirit of Brasil and I think it captures it well. It smells like tropical fruits, tropical flowers, and coastal marine air (even though there are no marine notes). Endless summer in the tropics. This transports me to Guarapari, where my family lived during the summer to escape the suffocating heat of the city. The ocean breeze, the ease of life, the hazy shift in light. Bossa Nova. Tropicalismo.

Tall and tan and young and lovely, the girl wearing Paraiba comes walking and when she passes, each one she passes goes Ahhhhhh....

mocou

Starts fresh gets fruity with a creamy dry down. Perfect summer scent.

nurul.ain

I have just sampled it today.i get the smell of GUAVA and a little bit of MANGO scent, then as it dries down i get the mixture of VANILLA-LIKE and WHITE CHOCOLATEY or cocoa scent.it is tropically fruity, floral, sensual and intriguing too.i always love the perfumer,Alberto Morillas.just see how he successfully did the versace bright crystal n chloe edp by chloe and many others.such a beautiful scent produced.again,a big congratulations to you for doning a very good job for Bvlgari.

Sorry if i interpreted Bvlgari Paraiba wrongly.that GUAVA-MANGO-VANILLA N WHITE CHOCOLATEY scents just came out straight away from my brain.the sales assistant who have helped me sampled Paraiba also told me the same thing.that is the guava smell.although guava wasn't stated in the lists of Paraiba's compositions by Fragrantica team.

By the way,i really enjoy Paraiba's other identical sisters of omnia amethyste and omnia coral.

Sannee77

The bottle is pretty, the colour is nice, and the name, Paraiba, is very attractive. There were the good things. The fragrance itself started out as a rather inoffensive fruity/watery tropical scent. But after letting it settle for a few hours on the skin I was left with rotten passionfruit and bleach. I got absolutely no cocoa, no warmth, no depth. Even after vigorous scrubbing I still got whiffs of fragrance that made me queasy and unable to sleep. Probably my worst review ever!

MysticRose

Lord save me for I have found the one Omnia that I can stand! I've never smelled passion fruit in a fragrance before and my oh my was this a lovely surprise. It's fruity, vibrant, tantalising and mouth-wateringly moreish. Mmm.. I'm instantly transported to a tropical island where the sea murmurs quietly against the shore; a cool breeze passes by as I sip my passion fruit cocktail at the bar. After the initial blast of passion fruit and an aquatic note that I can't put my finger on, the bitter orange kicks in adding a twist to this unusual cocktail! I'm surprised that vetiver is present as I cannot detect it and believe me when I say I HATE VETIVER. It's got moderate projection and longevity (3-4 hours) but I wouldn't mind reapplying because it is quite a light fragrance. I don't tend to go for fruity fragrances but this gets a 7/10 from me!

Arlene-Beatrix

Very fruity, tropical scent, perfect for holiday in a sunny country. I particularly like its base cacao notes. I find them truly nice. Good gourmand scents should have cacao notes just like this one, I mean - moderately sweet.

auroramaria

Very beautiful sweet and fresh scent, perfect for Spring and Summer.Lots of passion fruit but dries down similar to Cristalline on my skin.
It is smelling good bottled up a very easy going scent enjoyable at any age

mirisfrik

I don't get much tropical from this one. It's kind of disappointment. It starts very fresh, and after like half hour, the tangerine becomes unpleasantly dominant. So strong that it makes me thing that i spill a bottle of Schweppes Tangerine all over myself. No other note made sign of presence on my skin, until the whole smell disappeared. Unlike with other Omnias, there just wasn't a fit with this one.

StellaDiverFlynn

I had never experienced passion fruit in perfumes until Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba. The passion fruit here is very enjoyable: tart and zesty, without the sort of musky taste in the actual fruit.

As the fragrance warms up, the fruity note shifts from passion fruit to a peach note after about 30 minutes, probably stems from the combination of passion fruit and gardenia. The peach here is ripe and luscious, as if I had a bowl of peach purée mixed with passion fruit juice nearby.

Unfortunately, here comes the descent from the tropical heaven of mouth-watering fruits. Omnia Paraiba just becomes sweeter and sweeter with time, and turns into a fruity hard candy type of sweetness that I'm not so fond of. Moreover, in the far dry down, when the white musk eventually becomes more prominent, the fragrance falls into this inevitable fruity shampoo trap.

Omnia Paraiba has moderate sillage and 9-hour longevity on my skin, which is better than most fragrances in Omnia series that I tried. I enjoy the passion fruit opening quite a bit, and it's definitely a very cheerful fragrance for an escape to tropical heaven. But even if you're a fan of the Omnia series, do test before commit a full bottle, as it's much sweeter than the other Omnia IMO.

mshell

Too much tropical fruit for me! This is the only Omnia I haven't liked.

ChubbyPillow93

After I met Sisley Eau Tropical I've always been searching for a nice passionfruit fragrance, and Omnia Paraiba is truly a notable one. It's affordable(I'd rather say it's quite cheap) but not synthetic, for a fruity fragrance the smell is amazing.A very bright, lovely and joyful aroma.I've seen too many designer perfumes and celebrity perfumes that write many pretty fruits notes in the pyramid but turned out to be excessively sweet and synthetic.

As a $65 fragrance by Bvlgari, yes, it is satisfying.

P.S. I got a 25ml bottle of this for only 160RMB.

reborn

If i was 22 years old i would like it,but now i am 34 and i like more classy deep femme fatale fragrances.A big NO even for summer

HeiLi

I was so waiting for Paraiba to arrive in Europe - but what a let-down. It's bland and smells like hairspray.

I can't believe that BVLGARI disconitinued Green Jade - after Green Jade it has come up with one bland & uninspring scent after the other.

AlexGargoyl

Just sniffed this today in the store and sprayed a few drops on my wrist. A pleasant, sunny scent, fresh and with fruity accents (passion fruit mostly). Fit for a summer day on the beach while wearing a light, turquoise dress ;) It was a pleasant surprise for me, since the other Omnia scents really aren't my thing. Love all the bottles though and this color is really fitting the scent.

rossyegio5

In questo profumo danzano solo tre note: maracujà, passiflora e cacao.

Swamp Lily

Really pleasant summer fragrance, tropic aquatic but not too sweet or ozonic.

Bouquet

I like everything about this -- the name, the gem the perfume is named after, the color, the bottle, Alberto Morillas, the notes -- but NOT the actual scent. It DOES smell like Hawaiian punch, as another reviewer noted, or Kool-Aid, or an Escada scent. And I like fruity florals, if they are well crafted.

Maybe I will re-try it in the summer. Maybe I can layer it with another tropical scent.

EDIT: I DO like the scent when layered with another summer scent. It really only works in warm weather.

Lexa

First smell, candy like, sweet, chewing gum, lollipops, but i got it just because it was new and wanted something else,me being a musky, woody, oriental fragrances woman.Put it on today and left for some errands and the smell that came from my skin, the drydown of Paraiba is pretty much Omnia the simple, the first Bvlgari Omnia which was one of my most loved even though it didn't last too much.Paraiba is a little longer lasting, sprayed it 4 h ago and still going strong.Me likey!!!

ScarlettX

Passionfruit is definitely there. Some orange too.
But it's not too tropical or too sweet. And I also don't get that special Omnia undertone in it.
It doesn't have the Omnia "vibe", like other perfumes from that line.
It's still good smelling fragrance. Not too sweet, nicely tart and light fragrance with a light touch.
The only problem is, it might be too weak and not as long lasting as I would like.

Cherrietran

Absolutely a recommendation to anyone. The scent is so different from many other perfumes with fruity and floral notes in the market. If anyone try and think it smells like fabric softener, that is wrong. Just because it does not have a typical smell like other stereotypes of perfumes doesn't not mean it is cheap or whatsoever. Really fresh, sweet but not give u headache or want to vomit( Even though you have not had your breakfast in the morning). Passion fruit note is very obvious but the whole combination makes me feel happy, energetic, young and sexy at the same time. Beautiful packaging with the paraiba green blue colour. This is my favorite perfume for Spring Summer 2016. Been using it for a week. And I love it so much. Will repurchase once my 40ml bottle is over. Cheer!

Only a few days ago I was thinking that Bvlgari was one of the fairly" safe to blind buy from" . And that I always at least liked or tolerated their scents even if I wasn't head over heels in love with all of them. I must have jinxed myself.
On my skin Paraiba opens with mashed bananas ( baby food) with a side order of artificially flavored and colored banana candy ( recall those hard candies shaped like the flavors they were supposed to be? Those.)
A few minutes drydown reveals a " tropical floral " heart --unfortunately it strongly reminds me of some bathroom deodorizer spray ( green can Glade? Febreeze?) which my dad uses whenever he's let off a big stink bomb in there. Honestly I dislike this " tropical " stuff so much, I'd rather smell the stink bomb.
Base is beginning to appear--a clean musk and freshness of vetiver . This part is rather pleasant, if it didn't have the ( repulsive to me ) top and heart notes overshadowing it.

I'm reviewing from a sample I acquired free from Sephora, thankfully NOT from a blind bought bottle. Enough of this,I'm off to scrub....

lovealwaysalisa

On me this turned very "green"....kind of sour. I wanted to like it since I really like so many others by this house, but this one isn't for me. :(

I found Paraiba yesterday at my local Sephora, spritzed some on my wrist and swooned a little bit. It's refreshingly different from the stream of fruitchoulis that seem to unceasingly enter the mass market. Though different, there is something nostalgic for me in Paraiba. Upon inhale, some hazy memory materialized of being 13, primping for a G-rated night out with my friends in the late 80s, when hair products with massive sillage were used in massive quantities, mostly possessing fresh/aquatic/fruity scents. Paraiba is a far more sophisticated scent than those it conjured in my 80s scent flashback, as shown by it's wonderful drydown: cocoa and vetiver, so unexpected from Paraiba's beginnings and beautifully executed. It made me smile. And that's what a fragrance should do, make the wearer smile. It's firmly now on my "To Buy" list.

As for Paraiba's sillage: subtle in proper quantities but noticeable. After the in-Sephora spray, one of their associates walked up and asked, "What smells SO good back here?" I pointed to Paraiba and her eyes widened as if it were the first time she had noticed the aqua-colored gem along side the other Omnias. She snapped up the bottle and immediately sprayed the air. Her eyes rolled back, lids closed in satisfaction, and she proclaimed, "That's amazing. I usually don't like watery, fresh scents, but this one... this one has something extra, some backbone." After receiving a sample of Pariaba from the Sephora associate, I merrily went on my way. Several hours afterwards and one re-spritz later, I went into a store and was promptly chased down. "I don't know if it's you," said a woman hesitantly, "but something smells sooo good." I reached into my handbag, extracted the Paraiba scent strip from Sephora, and handed it to her. "That's it!" she exclaimed. Told her to keep it and head to the mall to experience it first hand. Lovely stuff.

Bouquet

Love the bottle, the perfumer, the house. Wanted to love the fragrance.
I found I like it better layered with Dangerous Complicity, as the passion fruit and peach seem to mix well.

marina1977

I am the big fan of all Omnia parfumes and I can not wait to try this one....

perrfumefreak

Oh my..i can't wait to get this fragrance.it sounds simply stunning. Fruity, flowery and with a hint of cocoa? That sounds perfect! I cannot wait to try it.

This sounds amazinggg! I can't seem to find it in-store though. Can't wait to get my hands on it

Erperp

So loved it the best ever ..it was 5 yrs then to find a new fragrance i trully love

Talicalicia

This one is fruit in a bottle on me. Pear, lime Passionfruit all jiving together with Passionflower and cacao adding a deeper bass note just at the edges. Fresh, light, bright and happy. Whats not to Love? Longevity is good and silage is moderate But it reminds me of a holiday in Fiji, sipping fruit cocktails on the beach in the sun.

odie

This fragrance is like a fruit cocktail party in a bottle. I assumed that the bottle would be heavy seeing it appeared to be an interlocked chain link, but when I picked it up and spritzed it at the perfume counter it turned out to be light and fun! It is just so pretty and so easy to spray. I appreciate the intensity of the fragrance, the only thing is that the top notes of Curacao, passion fruit and passion flower are strong and tend to be linear for quite a while, but its a fragrant scent that gives and gives.

Good fragrance by Bvlgari!

francess.raymundo

Finished my bottle in 6 days! An amazing fragrance!

jovejove

All I smell is curaçao and passion fruit . Smells like something Escada would make.

newjoyyork

Went to Bvlgari training 2 weeks ago as we will be launching this scent in Macy's on Black Friday. I definitely smelled the Lilikoi (passion fruit) and the gardenia, after 20 minutes I could smell the warmth from the sugar cane and cacao, but not a chocolate smell like the one that Gucci has in their Floral scent. It's a summer scent for me (fruity and citrusy) and reminds me of home in Hawaii for sure, but the fact that they want to release In October /November is beyond me. Most fruity/citrus fragrances go sour on my skin but thankfully not this one, so for those who have this issue - fear not! The bottle is beautiful, the smell is AMAZING, wish it was a longer lasting fragrance. Out of all the ones in the Omnia collection, I know this will do extremely well, and is my most favorite out of all of them at this point.

Nil3

Are you kidding me?!

Of course I want. OF COURSE I want.
