Rose Goldea Bvlgari for women

I’m not a rose person but this seems well done. Pretty straight forward rose. Bright, musky, and fresh. Reminds me of Burberry Her Toilette.

Very crisp and bright rose scent. Love on first sniff. It is really giving a vibe of turkish places where you get this kind of rose scent, I do not know exactly. Anyway, exotic and perfectly blended. Longevity and projection could be a bit better.

Nice pleasant, rosy and musky. Though it not being too groundbreaking I can see it as an easy-to-wear daily use kinda scent.

I bought this on a whim as I love floral perfumes; a set of two bottles. First, the bottles, to me, are very tacky. Heavy in the hand with lots of pink and gold plastic - ugh. The scent itself is very feminine; a pink rose. It has a fruity after trail. The scent has no longevity. It's okay; I regret buying it as it takes up space on my rose perfume shelf. I just sprayed more on me as I'm writing this and I'm still unimpressed. The Rose Essentialle from Bulgari is much, much better than Rose Goldea.

This smells like a lighter version of my burberry black.

Such a beautiful and pleasant simple rose scent. It's a little bit fresh, little bit sweet, with a beautiful rose accord, blended well and nothing bothers me in it. As someone who regularly wears heavy rose perfumes, this is my favorite light rose scent because it doesn't have any sharp green notes. I'm in love with it. The only downside is that this perfume is pretty expensive in my country and it's hard to justify paying that price for such a simple scent. Longevity is good for this scent profile, while sillage is more intimate in my opinion.

I love rose and wanted to love this. But although it is a pleasant scent, it isn't anything special. The rose and peach are overpowered by the bergamot and peony. It all adds up to a generic orange-blossom-like smell that isn't the gentle complex rose I was looking for. If you are looking for a new kind of rose scent, this isn't it.

Since I’m not a fan or most rose scents, there was probably little chance of me liking this. It has the same problems most rose fragrances have in that all I can smell is rose. To its credit, it’s not sharp or screechy. I’m sure those who like rose notes would say it is well done.

I know I gave this a not so good rate but only because it's not my type or go-to kind of scent. Other than that, it's a beautiful perfume. It's just not for me. My nose can smell more of the peony than the rose and it's somehow looking like a lovechild of Rose Nobile and Blooming Bouquet. I haven't smelt Chloe's rose edp. But I guess if people think they're alike, it's a goodbye to Chloe now for me.

Bought this as a blind buy. Its a safe buy, this is a sweet clean rose, very intimate and not overpowering. Its a a day time fragrance but the challenge is it has no lasting performance. So i wear at night to bed as it gives that clean relaxed calming scent

I would bathe in this if I could. This is my signature scent the bottle is gorgeous the scent is this rose that is so elegant and ethereal this is a classy elegant scent for fans of rosé perfume however it can sit a little elderly I love it I don’t mind smelling like that but if you are blind or gifting the person must love the 🌹

Please, I need an intense version for winter.

Powdery rose fresh floral on me.

Bvlgari has created an extremely beautiful, graceful and gentle Rose perfume.

The Roses here are very elegant and luxurious, reminiscent of the image of a rich aristocratic lady in the 19th-20th centuries. The scent is powdery, perhaps enhanced by Musk, like the Rose makeup on royal dressing tables. Rose Goldea gives me a Vibes filled with romance and luxury like old noble ladies. People say the longevity is not good, but it stays on my skin for quite a while.

Rating: 7.5/10, gentle scent and beautiful bottle design like a gem

Bvlgari Rose Goldea is a vibe on its own and just needs the right skin chemistry to shine brightly. I am usually drawn to scents that are loud and in your face but Bvlgari Rose Goldea literally mesmerized me to the point I found myself going back 30 minutes after spritzing it on my skin to buy the 90ml bottle.

Normally, I would be focused on sillage because I like people to get a whiff of what I smell like. This perfume smells so good on me: rosey, fruity, sweet in a mature way and pretty.

I just felt pretty, sophisticated and expensive without being over-the-top while wearing this scent. I had a sense of being someone who knew a secret others didn’t know and that made me smile.

If you are lucky to have the right skin chemistry like I do for this perfume to shine, get yourself 2 bottles if you can get it on discount and enjoy smelling like an expensive rose garden with a fruity, musky twist.

This perfume makes me happy and I am so glad I came across it and gave it a chance instead of judging it by the poor reviews from others.

I live in a warm climate and it is holding itself very well.

The bottle is very pretty and elegant so it looks great on my dresser amidst my other collections of great finds.

This one is a commoner for me… nothing special about the rose scent of it. It’s not as as bad as the those cheap perfume that leaves alcoholic scent but not as good as those good perfumes that you’d expect from big brand like bvlgari. Very feminine bottle though, almost like vintagy vibe. Yeah this one is probably a hit if we’re in the 1950’s but right now, there’s a lot more better rosy smell you can get with the same price of this.

Oh I love love love this! It's absolutely my favorite fragrance. I've been wearing this for years now and it doesn't get old. Feels like you've just been in a rose garden, and it's long lasting too. It's not sweet at all, very floral ,quite fresh and green.

Not usually a fan of rose scents as i think they lean a bit too “old lady” for me but this is one that i can get behind. Don’t get me wrong it’s still super powdery and does remind me of my grandma but after the initial sharp powdery rose evaporates it leaves such a lovely musky milky scent that sits close to the skin. it reminds me of milky turkish delights. It wouldn’t be a rebuy but i’ll enjoy it while it lasts!

pleasant and inoffensive scent with a not-so-sweet rendition of rose. it's very subtle on the skin, but the vanilla and musk radiate quite well after dry-down. i don't see this being anybody's signature with how delicate it is, but a good choice for those who like florals with a twist of warmth.

This smells seriously just like Mon Paris Floral. They have musk, peach, Jasmine, peony, rose and citruses in common so it makes sense.

This is what I imagine women who bathed in rose petals in the 1800s would smell like. Smells very fresh and clean, like a really nice body lotion. It’s a lovely fragrance, I just wish it were a lot stronger. I can smell it on myself but for the amount of money it costs, strong sillage should be a prominent feature.

I love this scent, nice combination of rose and peony, the dry down is slightly powdery and milky. feminine and traditional. it’s a little fresh spicy and some how I detect carnation notes.
I hate the intimate projection, I had to stay close to skin to detect the scent. No projection. It leaves no tail. My friends can barely smell this scent on me. Overpriced for its performance.

Oh, amazing, this fragrance smells like a bouquet full of fresh flowers and dewy scent. Very mild, rosy and pleasant. If a beautiful bouquet is converted into a cheerful bouquet then definitely this is the one!!

Am personally not a floral scent fan - prone to giving me headaches. I bought this in place of my Goldea perfume when I ran out ( I love Goldea!!) but this rose Goldea version is completely different, and none at all reminiscent of the mature scent of the Goldea. Had to give this scent away.

The past six years or so have added a lot of rose in their perfumes especially in Flankers for the popular lines.

Rose Goldea stands out as a more classy refined fragrance that's for a slightly more mature (25 and over, not old) woman. Of course if you're younger, please indulge of you love. It's sillage and longevity is enormous but it's such a classy scent it doesn't offend. I find this to be seasonal but more of a daytime scent. Try it!

something sharp in it makes me nasueous

When Chloe EDP has a love child with its own flanker, Roses de Chloe, you get Rose Goldea.

Nothing groundbreaking, but incredibly wearable and virtually inoffensive in nearly every setting.

Enjoyed my generous deluxe sample, but it won't be a full bottle purchase from me.

A nice clean, wearable rose. Not too soft, soapy, or sweet making it relatively ageless. I agree with another reviewer that it leans a bit peony, but I like peony and tend to not love rose so it's working for me. I'm not getting the other notes in a meaningful individual way, but this isn't a soliflore either. A bit formal but then it's rose so of course it is. Projection is a little less than arms length with a forearms length streak from a splash bottle.

I absolutely love how it smells, but it doesn’t last at nor does it project at all. I’m confused reading other reviews saying that it lasts forever and projects well. Perhaps I got a faulty bottle? Or has a new release of it been made intentionally weak? I’d love for someone to advise me of what the problem it

Soft citrus bouquet at first spritz. Beautiful. I wish it suited my skin to hold that opening longer. It became more soapy soft for me, like after getting out of a rose oil bubble bath and putting gentle baby powder on. It is very different on other women's skin but tends to be a very soft barely-there scent.

This one smells almost identical to MFK A La Rose (the original EDP for women) and Diptyque Eau Rose (EDT). It's a very nice, fresh, pleasant, realistic rose/peony scent, with some fruity overtones. It's a safe blind buy for rose lovers and quite reasonably priced too. Obviously, it's not very original, but then again, not every fragrance has to be an award-winning, groundbreaking creation. Sometimes we need just a simple, happy rose scent, such as this one. Longevity and silage are moderate.

Powdery rose, a very faint vanilla, and musk. Sure, it's not a game-changer, but c'mon. You can't hate this.

When I tried it in a store, I found it absolutely meh in the beginning, although I was persistent and as it developed it was an interesting chypre and slightly smoky rose, the kinda rose i like. Then I purchased it but regret it, as all i get from this is a childish rendition of Rose. I'm so bored of this artificial juvenile rose smell like a room freshener or toilet cleaner or lollipop or something. Better off save your money and buy a boring rose like Yardley Rose which I truly abhor. Whatever!

A normal basic rosey scent with a sharp note in the begining ... no sophistication lasted on my skin up to 3 hours and on my clothes 6+ hours ....a bit boring though.

It smells like an amazing deodorant. Nice, fresh scent... but not something I'd wear as a scent. If they made hygiene products though I'd definitely buy them!

I'll stick with the blossom delight flanker which feels light, airy, and floral.

Slightly artificial rose with a touch of Goldea. Not exciting.

This is a pretty musky rose w/ lots of jasmine and peony. After smelling all the horrid Arianna Grande fragrances I did tonight while shopping it was nice to smell something that I may want to go back and purchase at some point. This starts off w/ a crisp bergamot and other fruity notes cloaked in musk. Then rose, jasmine and peony come and are quite strong. A subtle vanilla, sandalwood and peach soften the florals a bit but this stays very rosy throughout. Very pretty, great everyday classy rose perfume. I agree w/ the review below, this has a very strong tea rose smell, again if you love roses this one is a great buy.

Very musky rose scent, the musk makes it smell a little woody. After the dry down the peony comes through a little more with the jasmine to make it more floral and less of a in your face rose. Its a very powdery fresh spring and summer scent. Smells like a strong rose tea with lots of sugar and honey in it.

Think of the most basic and stereotypical rose scent that exists, and you can imagine how this will smell like. It's just pure rose, with hints of musk, peony, and a bit of jasmine. That's about all I can smell. I'm not huge on rose scents but I believe there are better perfumes out there which captures the roses better.

Performance is also fairly weak. After two hours, the scent was completely gone. Sillage is kinda intimate. Extremely fresh feminine scent, to wear on hotter days.

I was just looking for a rose scent (cause i never had one before) and I started with this.
Not as expected though.Yes its fresh and rosy but its not green or musky at all.
Lasts 1hr max on my skin which makes it a bedtime scent .Nothing more.

I thought this was a very pleasant fresh rose scent on initial spray & was hoping for something I could wear in extreme heat, but boy was I wrong once I started testing it out!

This has a very bright opening with the Rose, citrus combination at the top but then it quickly changed into this screetchy, allergy inducing mess that I couldn't deal with. And to top that, the performance was terrible! It last less that 2hrs on my skin or clothing whether it be indoors or out, and the projection & sillage were nil. All in all Rose Goldea was just a definite no-no for me!

Rose Essentiale is gorgeous, and sadly discontinued. This is supposed to be the replacement for that Rosey place. It will definitely fill the need... but it is not the same as Rose Essentiale. Gorgeous fresh green rose, perfectly blended with peony, jasmine, a touch of musk. This fragrance is truly beautiful. Sadly it doesn’t last as long as I’d like. Wonderful Rose

Hilariously, it’s a dead ringer for “rose fine fragrance mist”, which can be had for around $15 a bottle, usually buy 2 get one free, at your local Bath and Body Works.

Why bother? It’s a tedious scent at a fairly modest price—yet still outrageously expensive for what you get.

I enjoyed Goldea so was excited to try this but was disappointed as I can’t detect the Goldea DNA at all. Old fashion rose scent which is mildly sweet. Not unpleasant but also does not make me happy. It improves slightly and becomes a bit more comforting in the dry down but overall leaves me cold.

I am very picky with rose scents and this one is not for me.

For me it's a greenish, sort of boring rose. Kind of plain and musky but also musty in the opening likely due to the olibdanum note. It's not very bright and smells kind of stale/"old lady" (sorry I know everyone hates this term but that's what it reminds me of, and mind you I wear old-school chypres/aldehydes without associating it with old ladies). It's not meant to be offensive, just what this scent reminds me of!

A light rose, not too sweet. It did not make a strong impression on me. It's subtle and nice, just not for me.

Rose and offensive musk on initial opening. Offensive enough to me that I seriously wanted to shower. Smelled like roses and urine on me. My body chemistry must not react well to this scent. I definitely let this one go..

I don’t care other people call this a boring rose. Sometimes you had wearing complex, seductive perfume for too long, you need to change to simple, all season, all occasion perfume. Rose Goldea is your choice.

Rose Goldea can be a serious perfume that send out message, a clean, well-behave lady, no nasty drugs and sex night out. Office appropriate.

I JUST DON'T LIKE IT. Bottle is so nice so at first I thought I would love it the way I love amethyste scent. It was a gift from my boyfriend so I still give it a try. But I think its not a scent for me. I just gave it to my mom. This scent is perfect for your grandmas. Sorry not sorry.

Very boring and generic. I have to be honest, I’m not fond of these rose/peony scents. If that olibanum was noticeable maybe we would have something but I’m not even sure it’s actually even in there. Even if the juicy pomegranate was more apparent but again, washed out peony,
and generic soapy rose, no more, no less.

The opening is a divine, dewy rose. It soon becomes becomes less interesting at the peony. I put Rose Goldea splash on before sleeping and when I awoke, I caught a pleasant smell on bedding but the scent was gone from my wrist. I wish the rose lasted. If it did, we’d be in business.

I am amending my earlier review a couple of weeks later. The rose that opens this fragrance is a soapy, slightly sour rose that would please fans of Roses de Chloe or Yves Rocher Moment de Bonheur. While I enjoy these types of roses from time to time, I can’t make them my signature. It is much easier for my chemistry to wear a jammy rose. Just added Shalimar EdC to it for some vanillic sweetness and leather “edge.”

It is a musky powder with a hint of rose. Being too musky makes it dusty sharp.

this is a very good daily scent, its clean, with a pretty rose scent that is upbeat, fun and just inviting. it doesnt smell cheap and is a excellent part of a fragrance collection good. its better in the spring could last a bit longer.

Gorgeous rose perfume! I love the opening: fresh, divine roses that float around me like a cloud. After a few hours the roses start disappearing and I'm left alone with a slightly soapy, inoffensive fragrance that it's not bad, but doesn't have any roses... time to reapply :)
Anyway, I'm going through a rose stage right now and I can't get enough of them. I truly love this puppy!

Very pretty rose perfume. It will be a keeper in my collection. The longevity works differently for me in different climates. It lasts longer for me in the warmer months and smells nicer on my skin in the warmer climate. I normally have dry skin, but this lasts for ages on me in the warmer climate. The scent is beautiful. I sprayed this on tissue wrapping paper for my cousins wedding gift and her first response was “oh my god what is that? That smells beautiful”. Very feminine elegant woman scent. Something you’d wear to a high tea or when wearing a pretty floral/summer dress.

if i were to describe the scent of Rose Goldea as a person, then she would be that elegant lady who is just minding her own business. quiet but sharp and intelligent. since her presence is inoffensive, you might not notice her at first glance in the crowd, but once you notice her, you are done for. there is this seductiveness, an allure that you can never get over with. she is powerful in her own league.

Soft pink with an elegent energy. Not overly fussy or anything like that; easy to wear, supremely feminine. Like a frayed jean jacket with a lacy chamise underneath.

Rose Goldea is a classic rose fragrance, it is similar to 'Rose Rose', less so rose fragrances such as Beautiful. I prefer it to Rose Rose, as it is more complex with peony & jasmin notes. It is a good office scent, or a safe scent to buy or wear.

RG opens with the loveliest true rose and quickly transitions into a musky melange of less pleasing notes.
Maybe it's the peony I'm picking up, but the dry down is inferior to the opening. Sillage and longevity are modest at best. Work safe and wearable as a modern musk/floral.
Pricey and not terribly original, this one's the rare Bvlgari I dislike.

Unlike other reviewers I am getting the olibanum (incense) in the drydown. I get several different phases.

Here is the breakdown on my skin:

The opening is my favorite. It gives the impression that this fragrance will be safe and gentle with the most beautiful pomegranite and bergamot topnotes. The pomegranite does not smell at all cheap like it tends to in many other compositions out there. -Fresh fruits with peony & rose.

An hour later the scent strengthens with jasmine and musk which screeches to my sensitive nose a bit. An hour later this screechiness drys away. -Musk & jasmine.

There is another phase before the incense hits that feels almost powdery. Definately woody with that pretty rose that never goes away. -Woods & rose.

Finally it feels like the fragrance took me from day to night when the incense appears on the 4th to 5th hour. It has a very middle eastern feel. -Rose & incense.
This phase lasted on my skin well into the next morning before my shower. Yes, I could smell it upon awakening.

I spritzed once on my arm at 2:30pm, while not wearing any other fragrance all day. It was still there at 8am the following day.

I am not big on incense. Heavy incense perfumes just are not my style most of the time. So I was relieved to read reviewers explaining that it is not there. It seems that maybe if you are looking forward to some incense, you will not be satisfied.

I was not expecting much of an appearance from incense and I felt that note to linger with the rose the most.

Another thing is that I had a 2ml dabber decant sample of this from a swap. I tested it on 3 occasions in a 2 year period, before purchasing a full bottle. I loved it but did not have the same experience. I had the same opening, musky jasmine phase and woody rose phase. Not the last part with the incense revealing itself. Spraying made a big difference with this perfume.

This is a nice fragrance, safe for work with a gentle silage and good longevity.. The rose shines most in the initial stage, and that’s my favorite part of this perfume.
The pomegranate, jasmine and musk are all strong players here and I found the dry down oddly aquatic yet musky with peony being the final floral note, not rose. There’s actually something in this that reminds me of Versace Bright Crystal in its pomegranate and peony brightness, but the musk and a touch of peach makes rose goldea softer and gentler.
Ultimately I just wish for more roses, and I would have adored sandalwood and frankincense but I can’t seem to distinguish them at all. This might be a better fragrance for the summer heat. In this cold March weather rose goldea is quite polite and introverted.

When he kindly asked me to choose a gift from his business trip I replied: a new fragrance!
No matter what it was but feminine, according to him.
I was hoping (secretly) for J'Adore Absolu, he bought me Rose Goldea instead.

Rose Goldea to me is an airy, ethereal, subtle, in some ways crispy perfume of roses as none of mine.
It's exquisite. Timid, shy yet daring in revealing femininity. And grace.

Blind buy this just because i want to buy rose splendida but seller recommend rose goldea more than splendida. I love the bottle. Look sophisticated and classy and the bottle is quite heavy. I sprayed 2 times this morning and the projection was very low (for me). Sillage not so "wow" also. I am no so surprise with the smell. seems it is common rose scent. But, i admit, the smell was sooo good right after 1st spritz. And quickly absorb on my skin and blend so well, from a fresh rose (probably it is pomegrenate) and turn to sweet and soft rose scent (musky element in my opinion), a Just nice rose scent though nothing so special about it. I mean, it wont shock you ;) I think i need more time to get along with this scent. IMHO, rose essential is more strong and citrusy than rose goldea. Rose goldea is softer and just nice. I give 7 out of 10. Like this scent but sure wont repeat. And this one i will keep it as my collection.

Bvlgari has a knack for creating pretty rose scents. The now discontinued Rose Essentielle was an easy go-to rose fragrance, great for Spring and Summer wear. Rose Goldea reminds me of Rose Essentielle in many ways, yet their compositions are quite different.

Rose Goldea is what I call a 'pink rose' fragrance. It doesn't have the richness nor the 'jammy-ness' of a concentrated red rose dominant fragrance. It wears light and pretty and would make an appropriate Spring daytime scent.

The most dominant notes to my nose include rose, peony, sandalwood, white musk, pomegranate, and peach. Admittedly there is nothing super unique about this fragrance, however, it is extremely pleasant and an easy crowd-pleaser. I would actually recommend this fragrance as a safe gift for a woman that tends to enjoy soft floral scents.

The longevity of Rose Goldea is quite impressive, lasting approximately six hours on my skin. The projection, however, is relatively soft and unobtrusive. I am testing Rose Goldea in the midst of our Winter months and I must say that it doesn't shine as prettily as it would during the warmer seasons.

I think if you enjoyed Rose Essentielle, or have a love for light, delicate rose fragrances in general, you'll most likely adore Rose Goldea from the house of Bvlgari. The packaging is also divine, absolutely worthy of display.

I bought this on sale after smelling the perfume from the tester strip. A lovely floral scent with mainly the rose notes on the opening spray and dry down. The wood and musk notes are quite soft but the fruity notes somehow non-existent to me. Very feminine and fresh and can be worn anytime of the year! Also I find the bottle beautiful.

I love this perfume I used to wear Jean Paul Gaultier's Fragile Eu de toilette and was gutted when it was discontinued! Bvlgari's Rose Goldea reminds me of that perfume not just in the way it smells but in how I feel when I wear it its truly a delightful perfume and the best £100 iv ever spent on perfume and the 90 mill bottle has pride of place on my bedside table.

This is a wonderful rose scent, soft, dewy, musky.
I detect rose, peony, jasmine, musk, creamy sandalwood and a hint of peach (it reminds me of Idylle Eau Sublime) and olibanum. All the notes are blended masterfully.
It's extremely elegant and very feminine.
It could be a perfect sophisticated signature scent for rose lovers.
The rose is such an elegant note in perfumes.

It’s a nice floral fragrance that opens surprisingly fresh & clean. After 2hrs the musk comes to the fore joined by a hint of vanilla, working in perfect harmony with the peony & rose. After 3hrs I get another wave of the beautiful opening. I wouldn’t mind at all sitting next to someone wearing this and I know for a fact that my twenty year old me would have loved this, maybe my thirty year old me, too. If I find a small bottle at a good price I will probably consider buying it as a guilty pleasure...

I found this to be a much nicer kind of rose scent than I found in the Chloe perfumes. Those to me are so soapy smelling I get nauseous. This had more of a warmth to it, but, alas, I found the musk way too strong for me. The bottle is a tad on the pretentious side, but it makes me think of something one would have found on Cleopatra's dressing table, so I like the historical vibe of it.

Soozatzkas review is spot on: This is as much a sandalwood scent like a rose scent. Now in winter I smell more spicy sandalwood and musky rose than in spring. Olibanum also stands out clearly.
In warmer seasons also the peony and the jasmine note appear, which mix wonderful with the rose (but still with a woody undertone).
But I love to wear Rose Goldea in the cold winter: a sublime rose queen who has grown proudly, and also a little thorny, not girly or too innocent, with the sweet promise of the coming spring.

It is a ver nice and elegant fragrance, not particularly new and original because to me it smells a bit like Chloe EDP, a cold, elegant rose that I like to smell on other women but not on myself. This is neither a fresh, juicy rose, nor a creamy one. It is a vintage romantic rose with a bit of powder and nostalgia, if this makes sense. From all new Bvlgari introductions of the past two years, this is one of the nicest, and definitively much better than Splendida Rose Rose.

I unfortunately dislike the pink bottle. It looks like something you could find in a Barbie grooming set, an infantile idea of perfume bottle, and the plasticky, iridescient, sparkly top looks quite cheap in real. The best bottle of the Goldea series is Roman Nights where the black bottle and the clear top tone down the tarty design and is more reminiscent of vintage perfume bottles.

a musky rose that appeared as what i assume a trend response to sharp screeching florals coming from chloe flankers and boudoir rose trend.
in reality, it is a very synthetic fresh rose which after 30 mins of spraying leaves you with plasticky musk and dashes of fruit which i would not call pomegranate.
too fruity, not powdery at all, and definitely not balsamic.
the bottle is extremely tacky and unpractical (it fell twice from sephora shelf) but probably designed with the intention to appeal to kardashians - having said that, even kkw bottles look more modern than this.

went to sephora, sprayed this on my hand and arm, and its scent is gone after 30 mins! very disappointing. i also find the splendida line (replaced rose essentielle, jasmin noir, pour femme) are equally disappointing. they are all watered down versions, and longevity is NIL.

i loved their rose essentielle, and i was hoping i'd love this too. but this made me realise - i need to stock up on my rose essentielle.

It’s very daytime inoffensive While still being sensual this is not your nanas rose garden more the soft feel of rose petals and silk sheets during an warm afternoon romp. the original goldea is lovely but this one is amazing

Just spectacular! I had just "scrolled through" this one without paying any attention (for some reason I thought it would be like D&G:s Rose Excelsa, which is fine, but kind of hollow) and I had a chance to buy it. And it blows me away right now. The opening has got something I have never smelled in a rose fragrance before - it´s a bit sour, woody, resinous. Believe me, it does turn soft and rosy, but it´s so much more than a pink or fresh rose. The musk is very intense in the beginning as well. Pomegranate is usually very nice to me, tart and sour, but never shrill. Here as well. A lovely, lovely jasmin that I smell almost as intensely as I do the rose. Perfectly "watery" peach, like a more subtle version of the peach in Idylle Eau Sublime, which is rosy and musky as well. Actually, this is what Idylle Sublime would smell had it developed nicer, had it become grown-up and sensual (which it doesn´t). Maybe the olibanum is behind this sensuality together with the sandalwood, which here is super nice quality, like in Santal Majuscule, but way softer, of course. Bvlgari makes such subtle scents and even though their silage is usually low key they last and last. I barely smell the vanilla, which is just the way I like vanilla. What a lovely, lovely surprise!

This is lush, a beautiful sweet rose that elegantly straddles both the French and Arabic perfume styles.

I love the soft powdery rosey smell. But unfortunately the smells wears off in minutes. Have to top up plenty of times during the day. Too pricey to do this everyday.

Soft, but full bodied pink rose, without much else added, maybe a hint of jasmine, and a hint of peony . Luckily I do not smell the musk which I don't like usually , as it brings laundry detergent to mind. There are also no violets added , the typical offender for powderiness .
Much more natural smelling than I expected, given the multitude of notes and fancy, kid of tacky , bottle. Oh, but I do love rose gold, so this is nice.
Overall a gorgeous , polite, innofensive, classy, full bodied rose scent, with average to low lasting power and silage. Nothing amazing, just beautiful, nice, calm. And yes. It does remind of Chloe Roses .

I am epileptic I have to be very careful with scents I used to wear jean paul gaultier's Fragile till it was discontinued leaving me heart broken! Iv been searching fore a replacement ever since and this is it it has a perfect balance of scents and both me and my boyfriend love it I will be buying this perfume at the very 1st opportunity.

The epitome of a rose -- the most genuine and fresh likeness I've ever had the pleasure of smelling. For those of you who have been searching for a true rose fragrance, Rose Goldea is it; not in the least powdery, synthetic or cloying. A beautifully balanced fragrance.

I'd say it has moderate sillage and projection, and the longevity is about 4-5 hrs. Though by the end of the day the scent still lingers on your clothing, whirling through the air as you undress -- delicate, elegant, and coy.

With this product, I must say the sentence "Love at the first smell". It smells so fresh & lovely. Rose, pomegrane & vanilla are 3 of the dominant ingredients, but the most dominant is rose like the name of it "rose goldea".

In general, this bottle is fresher and less sweet than original rose gold and I prefer this one. The longevity is moderate from 3 - 6 hours, to me it's 6 hours. If I spray from 8h30 p.m til 17h00 I still smell a little bit of this perfume on my body. The sillavage is not so strong, in the 1st 2 hours, its projection is ok within an arm, but from 3 hours it sit closer and closer to yur skin.

But to me, I still love the scent of this bottle though its longevity and projection is not so impressive.

Fresh clean floral rose scent. Very pretty, lady like and ultra feminine. It has that french feel to it. Very delicate and romantic scent. It is difficult to describe the notes, I do detect musk but it is a faint whispy refreshing musk not the heavy kind, it smells dewy green floral rose and has a refreshing feel. It is perfect for hot sunny days. I do find it lasts 5 hours on me which is better than expected. I will buy this eventually. Although not the most unique, it is different enough and has an expensive and luxurious feel like all Bvlgaria fragrances. It reminds me of summer romances in open fields, it is very natural and refreshing and rather simplistic but not boring. For me it is one of those fragrances that instantly makes me happy, it has a hopeful carefree happiness about it.

This is just a quick addition to the other reviews. I see where there are numerous votes for smelling like Roses de Chloe. I agree for the most part. However, Chloe florals always come out super sharp and pretty much stay that way. My chemistry and nose do not like them. Now having said that, I do not find Roses Goldea sharp at all....at least nowhere near the sharpness of Roses de Chloe.

When it says that smell is very "expensive" lol. with "distinct oriental aroma"-they definitely have it right. This is not your typical rose fragrance-as it doesn't smell medicinal as so many rose scents end up doing or musty. Jasmine makes it sweeter and more "floral oriental" if you will which is all to the good. Sandalwood enhances same "oriental" feeling once again. I gotten a sample at Neiman Marcus from BLV vendor and I really like it. But here are bad news-I already have its clone-La Perla In Rosa which I believe been discontinued since. I am not kidding, those two are almost identical and I still have half of bottle of La Perla.
PS I don't think it smells like Stella which I wore for a while. Goldea is more "oriental" and much sweeter with almost "lipstick" smell. I think that's the best I can explain it

I received this lovely juice in a swap. It is a fresh, slightly soapy rose. I find it very much akin to Roses des Chloe sans the depth of Chloe. Its a great scent to wear to work; sillage is medium with wonderful longevity. Longevity lasts about 8 hours minimally. Though lacking the golden aspect of the original Goldea, Rose Goldea is a lovely, modern rose. My heartfelt thanks to TwoCrows for a wonderful swap!

I think I like the bottle more than the fragrance. Reminds me of Eternity Moment which I like on myself hours after it has settled.

The dry down reminds me of Bvlgari Omnia Coral.

To me it smells like rose soap. It is a nice, modern fragrance but it lacks the golden feeling of the original Goldea. This one is just pretty smelling, but lacks personality.

Some reviewers have mentioned the dominance of sandalwood in Rose Goldea, and I agree...but I would add that it is a SPICY sandalwood, woo!! Not a tame woodsy note, this one comes in with a high kick! It does soothe itself after a while though, and the blend purrs into a rosy, enchanting spell. She's a doll after all ;)

@FeuFeu - Exactly what you said! The only thing I can add is that I truly believe it will be more divine in warmer temperatures. It's a little too bright for my winter tastes. Agree with FF as well regarding the bottle being soooooo beautiful! I think this will be a go-to for summer :o)

I tried a spritz on the back of my hand. I like all the notes but I do not like them together in this blend. It could be split into two different fragrances that I would love. The bottle is lovely, and the quality of this juice is noticeably a cut above the weak watery stuff put out lately.
I didn't love the opening syrupy rose, I didn't like the middle or the base either. I did love whatever was left after I washed my hands; sandalwood, peach and vanilla. I could still detect a trace the next morning which is impressive.
It's an *almost* but no, for me.

A lovely elegant rose scent, in a beautiful bottle. Gorgeous colour pink. It's a sweet and smooth rose, deep and delicate. Sandalwood is sweet and comforting. It's beautiful. I love it.

Very beautiful bottle with romantic scent. Initially, I was only planning to test the scent in the store but ended up buying a 100ml bottle because the bottle is too beautiful not to own. I tested the BVLGARI Goldea (yellow bottle from 2015) before and found the scent quite delightful. However, when I saw the 2016 version Rose Goldea face-to-face, I couldn't help but fall in love with the look of the bottle instantly. It is like a jewelry! Many perfumes bottles are beautiful but I don't know, maybe it's the way they present it in store, making this bottle stands out as extremely elegant & unique.

It took me 30 mins to decide whether to get the Goldea from 2015 or the new Rose Goldea. Store lady said Rose Goldea is more youthful and sweet while the 2015 Goldea is slightly more mature with stronger character. To me, I actually like the Goldea smell better at first for its opening note but I like the middle note more when it comes to the Rose Goldea bottle. In the end, I chose the Rose Goldea (2016 pink bottle) for 3 reasons: 1) Goldea 2015 seems more of a winter scent to me and Rose Goldea will work all year round. 2) Pink bottle looks just prettier with it rose gold and all that 3) It seems right that Rose Goldea is fresher scented, does smell more youthful - wear youthful scent when you can cuz u can always wear more mature perfume later on in life :p

So there it is a beautiful piece of jam with the delightful scent. My nose detect mostly a beautiful mixture of rose, musk, vanilla and sandalwood :)

Tried it today.. it reminds me of a makeup vanity.. the smell of the old makeup and roses.. its sweet, inoffensive, no one will probably compliment you but it is likable .. id buy it or office wear, its perfect for that.. a day scent and very safe..

Not my style, too elegant and princessy. That is exactly why I praise this scent.

This is one of my go-to office perfumes. It is a very likable rose scent that is far from the stereotypical "granny perfume" smell that some rose fragrances tend to have.

It has a mild projection so it won't be obtrusive to your workmates even if you're working in a small, air-conditioned room. Despite the weak sillage, it lasts a decent amount of time on me: around 6 hours during the times when I am in a rush to get ready and I forget to put body lotion on, and 8-9 hours when I moisturize my body prior to applying the perfume.

It's a likable fresh rose scent. Quite light and modest, not too powdery in my opinion.
What I don't like about it, is that it's too ordinary for Bvlgari. It's missing that special something in Bvlgari's perfumes. Rose essentielle was much better.

Beautiful bottle, beautiful old-pink color, beatiful composition of roses with sandalwood. Staying power is suprisingly good, about 12 hours! Very elegant scent, can be worn with nice elegant dress, high heels and white pearls on neck. I do believe as previously mentioned, for some reason, men will like this scent. So happy to own Rose Goldea.

I really want it now after testing it in a shop! I really like it! It is not too complex, but it is beautiful. It is elegant, feminine, kind of fresh, sweet and woody. It would be perfect for both a night out and for everyday use. Both winter and summer! I also think both a 20-year old and a 40-year old could wear this. And I also think a lot of men would like this perfume on women.. :)

Nice and basically that's it. Subtle, unoffensive, office safe, good for warm season. However, it's nothing more.
Ah, a pretty bottle.

The bottle is simply gorgeous! Rose Goldea opens very promising, fresh, such a wonderful rose scent, but the drydown is sandalwood only. If you are a sandalwood fan, go get it, it really is a nice, elegant scent. Just not for me, sadly, because I expected rose to stick around a bit longer.

Tried this at a duty free shop today and love, love, love it!
So elegant, so feminine, but no-nonsense at the same time.
I don't feel anything girly, playful, or flirty abt it at all.
I trust Morillas's hands for his Omnia Crystalline, and here he just added yet another masterpiece to his list.

The rose wears off noticeably after abt 2 hrs, though. So it's probably not what you look for if you expect the rose to last so long.

Such a beautiful contemporary little gem! Elegant enough to wear for a night out and tender enough for a relaxed day out. Would love the future lady in my life to wear this!

This new Goldea sounds nicer than original EDP with a good dose of rose and milky sandalwood will try when it comes out
