Very confused scent on me. In the air, I smell sweet and delicious boozy apple, but on my skin is just heavy smoky tobacco, especially when it settles in. It lasts FOREVER, and that tobacco note is persistently nauseous 🤢 I experienced smelling AS delicious on someone else but myself. So, just don’t blind buy this. Buy a sample, give this a few tries, it might not be a scent for you.

Flex Luther

Wasted 235 for this one beautiful smell just doesn't last long, 2 hours most.

kundi301

A boozy, warm cinnamon cookie is the best i can describe this, and this smell stays pretty much the same throughout the time it's on my skin. It's most certainly an amazing smell but not something i'd wear per say, it's almost too photorealistic and gourmand for my taste. This is one of those fragrances that the olfactory system instantly categorises as a determined 'christmassy' winter type smell. I wouldn't wear this any other time than then. This smell would make a nice candle though.

moufbreather

a strong and sweet gourmand that's well balanced. excluding seasons, i feel this can be worn at night, including seasons, only the colder months. 9.5/10

Kitmarin08

Love this! Currently wearing it during a sunny spring day and I personally don’t find it too overbearing. Might be because the weather is dry where I am. That being said, will save for nights and later summer when the apples are ready and crisp. I do get a bit of freshness form the cognac and sandalwood. This isn’t too sweet or booze. The vanilla acting like vanilla ice cream and enhancing the apple pie but not overbearing. Will definitely be staying in my regular rotation.

(overhyped for no reason) 250 dolar for this shit? nah ı dont think so it smells sugar ONLY SUGAR this fragrance is regret

huckleberrylady

I absolutely adore this perfume. It smells amazing, kind of like a sexy cinnamon bun lol. I 100 percent think everyone should be able to smell this it’s that good

Geory

Tbh I do not see what the hype is, it’s a somewhat good fragrance the smells like apple pie, and the apple pie stays consistent as you the dry down begins. This fragrance is also very choking in a way. I can see why people like but it’s not for me.

wintersnow7

This is truly amazing. Yet, it is not a good fit for me. I find it too be too deep and boozy for my personality and age. Me wearing this would simply be out of place. Id say it leans ever so slightly masculine. Its mature in a seductive way, not in an old person sort of way. I see a Beyonce type of person wearing this. I don't get apple in this. It is mostly sweet cinnamon, spices, and booze.

Officiallyvile

This is so far my favorite signature scent. Perfectly unisex, smells sexy on both a man and a woman. This scent is so warm and cozy, like an expensive cashmere sweater. lts a snowy winter night that you spend inside an expensive cabin in Switzerland after a skiing trip, sipping expensive whiskey in front of a fireplace. It is an exclusive jazz club where most patrons wear black suits and black dresses - and you are the attractive mysterious stranger sitting at the bar with your expensive cognac in a tumbler similar to the bottle design. Those are the images that come to mind when you wear Angels Share, truly an attractive and luxurious scent that makes you feel like you are rich and look like a supermodel. A classic hit from the house of Kilian that will forever be on my pedestal.

barta.bart

I love this. Definitely boozy and a little smoky. Good for dinner out or romantic evenings. Unisex. I’d love this on a man.
I’m in love with the bottle too. Looks like a rum on the rocks.
Sadly the scent isn’t as strong as I’d like and doesn’t last more than 5 hours on my skin or clothing. Maybe I go noseblind, I don’t know.

goodchat

If your dream is to smell like a sexy apple empanada, look no further. Your dream is in reach.

markofcain

Very sweet apple pie in the winter.
I don’t get any cognac or woody scents, and most scents overwhelm me with boozy and woody notes. This is more like a sweet apple pie in the too notes, drying down into a more ubiquitous sweetness rather than anything particular. It rides the line between sickeningly sweet and bearable for me, one of my favorites. It smells like a sugary-cinnamon hug until the vanilla flavored dry down on me. More feminine than masculine but don’t let that dictate what you wear, one of my favorite scents in the winter, too sweet for the hotter times of year.

quuaach

really does smell like a freshly baked cinnamon-y apple pie. so cozy, warm, and delicious. not for people who are looking for more of a woody scent, however maybe that could be the unique dry down on my skin. it’s wonderful!

Boneil708

!Not a safe blind buy!

Let's get descriptive

The woodyness is far in the background.
What you get off back is sweetness but a dull sweetness like a dried date"fruit" cognac cinnamon Tonka praline and for some reason green apple maybe.

That's what notes come to mind when I smell this.
It's not for me I do not like this fragrance, if you want a cold holiday fragrance try club black or by the fireplace
5/10 scent

L'égyptienne

Can't wait till next fall/winter to wear it again!!!

Ahmed1996Youssef

My all time favorite

ninimurphette

What apple pie? What I get is an explosion of cinnamon, followed by a home-cooked jam that has been simmering in a beautiful copper pot on a stove FOR HOURS, and yes, let’s not forget the booze in it 🤤 then the dry down with mostly sandalwood and a little vanilla left, which has been melting in the pot… This is so yummy, it makes me want to eat “tartines”. Ideal for fall, so a little patience til then 😋

BandNerdChic

This one is interesting, but would be limited to wearing basically to holiday parties for me personally. I was looking forward to the cognac and woods and was hoping it would smell like a classy cocktail bar, but it actually smells like sweet baked apple pie and a fall-inspired candle with a tiny glass of cognac in the corner. It feels like the kind of fragrance that someone who is obsessed with a PSL would like, and I’m not judging at all if that is your vibe but it just doesn’t fit me. I do think it smells nice though, and I would like smelling it on a person who matched the fragrance. I’ll have to try it on a night out and see how I feel about it in a different setting.

lilacxlily

With the Kilian fragrances I'm glad that I went with the discovery set. I like them, but not enough to commit to even a travel-sized bottle.

Angels' Share is a nice fragrance, it's unisex but I still find that the boozy notes lean just a touch more masculine. On my skin the drydown was boozy playdough. I can see myself enjoying this on another person, but it isn't really for me. I am a little surprised that MM Jazz Club isn't listed under "This perfume reminds me of", because they are both very boozy and almost incense-y (they remind me of church just a little bit). Angels' Share doesn't have the cigar-like tobacco smell that Jazz Club does, but Jazz Club doesn't have the playdoughy dry-down of AS.

Angel's Share has received a lot of hype, and while it's nice I don't really think it's perfection in a bottle. Not a safe blind buy by any means, and I don't see this being an everyday fragrance for most people.

Mr. Blind Buy

Didn't like this at first. I would get different smells smelling the atomizer when I first received it. Airy apple with a feminine after smell. Then Whiskey barrel cinnamon the next. Was actually going to give to give it away til it was time to do so. Angel Share is one of the better well crafted fragrances I've smelled. It's not synthetic, it's not linear, it's not a typical cash grab(even though the slutted AS out with the 2 extra editions later on). I then respected it. It has an edge to it with the boozy accord. I tend to put it on when I go to night events. For as many people that like to get a fragrance to stand out, this is it without it being a nauseating room takeover smell. It is strong tho.

bhanesh

lightly used bottle for sale. PM me for info (only accepting cashapp, venmo, or trades) ONLY IN THE USA

LK-Fragrance

Smelled this for test didn’t live up to the hype smelled average like a fall scented room spray the silicate and longevity was bad as well. Leaning mostly to the feminine side. Maison Mariela By the fireplace and jazz club could easily replace this for half the price. It was good but just didn't t have enough contrast and performance for such an Expensive fragrance. 8.5/10 for scent

elenagr22

Let's be honest, this is just TOO MUCH! Why would anyone want to be smelling like a alcohol infused apple pie?

I dont like this perfume for neither men or women. This is not sexy, its just heavy and edible in a Christmas Eve kind of way

SmellLush

This was very pretty but for the price I think I'll stick with my KayAli Wedding Santale. Very pretty and classy everything I love in a fragrance but I can blend a few vanilla I have that are boozy and make the same scent.

honeymilkbee

She’s sexy, she’s sultry, she’s boozy & cinnamon sweet. Intoxicating and I love her. Great for evening wear during the colder seasons. Would pair fabulously with a red dress & tan fur.

Oz1212

It’s good but is it as good as people make it out to be? No im a bit disappointed and dissatisfied from it the performance really isn’t all that for its price I’m expecting a bit more but still pretty good, iil be honest i grew to like it a lot more than at first,it smells like apples with cinnamon and honey the cognac note is really strong but really nice

hayjuney

This is amazing. It’s like caramelized apple drizzled in yummy booze. It smells delicious and sexy.

reesh

Every person who's described this as the alcoholic uncle fragrance is absolutely right! I got a sharp blast of alcohol when i first sprayed it - if you'd told me it was hand sanitizer I'd have believed you. It quickly settled into something cloying. But it did leave me curious - I didn't hate it enough to wash it off. It definitely leans masculine, and I suspect I'd have liked it more on a man. The dry down was powdery. I didn't get any vanilla or the apple pie that others have described. The dry down was definitely a more tolerable scent that whatever that blast of an opening was, but ultimately this was just disappointing.

kspangz

I'm fairly new to expanding my perfume palate, and this one opened the floodgates for me. It's like nothing I've ever smelled before. Boozy apple pie is the simplest way to describe it, but there's much more to enjoy here. It does have a kind of leathery, musky note in the background, which I think can be a turn off to most people, but the boozy, sweet, spicy notes that last and last and last are to die for. I absolutely love this one.

malake

I honestly prefer khamrah

Gulag Gary

I mostly smell ambery apple pie, no whiskey. Longevity is insane, but you'd have to be a fan of the smell to enjoy it which I am not.

The Fragrance "Angel Share" by Kilian: A Whisky-Inspired Olfactory Journey

In the world of perfumery, certain scents possess the remarkable ability to transport us to another time and place, evoking emotions and memories that linger long after the initial spritz. One such fragrance that captivates with its unique story and composition is "Angel Share" by Kilian. Inspired by the ancient tradition of aging Cognac in oak barrels, this fragrance encapsulates the essence of craftsmanship, luxury, and indulgence.

To understand "Angel Share," one must delve into its origins and the artistry behind its creation. Kilian Hennessy, the founder of By Kilian perfumes, draws upon his heritage as a member of the renowned Hennessy family, whose legacy is deeply intertwined with the world of Cognac production. The term "angel's share" refers to the portion of Cognac lost to evaporation during aging—a poetic notion that captures the essence of fleeting beauty and time-honored traditions.

The scent itself unfolds like a masterfully composed symphony, beginning with top notes that tantalize the senses. Upon the initial spray, hints of cinnamon, oak, and tonka bean emerge, echoing the spicy warmth of aged Cognac. This spicy sweetness is balanced by the heart of the fragrance, where oak wood and praline intertwine to create a sense of depth and richness. As the fragrance settles, vanilla and sandalwood linger on the skin, leaving a warm, comforting trail reminiscent of a cozy evening by the fireplace.

What truly sets "Angel Share" apart is its ability to tell a story through scent. Each note harmonizes seamlessly to evoke the sensation of sipping a fine Cognac in an opulent setting—an experience that is both decadent and nostalgic. The fragrance captures the essence of sophistication and refinement, making it a perfect choice for those who appreciate craftsmanship and luxury.

Moreover, "Angel Share" by Kilian transcends the boundaries of traditional perfumery by embracing the olfactory elements of fine spirits. The use of oak wood and sweet spices pays homage to the intricate aging process of Cognac, transforming an ordinary fragrance into a sensory masterpiece.

In terms of its appeal, "Angel Share" is a versatile fragrance that can be worn on a variety of occasions. Its warm, inviting nature makes it ideal for evening wear or intimate gatherings, where its subtle complexity can be appreciated up close. Whether worn by men or women, this fragrance exudes confidence and sophistication, leaving a lasting impression wherever it goes.

In conclusion, "Angel Share" by Kilian is more than just a fragrance; it's a sensorial journey that celebrates the art of perfumery and the rich heritage of Cognac production. With its intoxicating blend of spices, woods, and sweet accords, this fragrance invites us to experience a moment of indulgence and luxury—a fleeting escape into a world of timeless elegance. For those seeking a scent that is both captivating and refined, "Angel Share" by Kilian offers an olfactory experience like no other, leaving behind a trail of beauty and intrigue with every spray.

I have been using my PDM Oajan for a year and I decided to sample Angels Share two weeks ago and I finished my sample. I think that this is an awsome scent just like Oajan but there are quite a lot of things diffrent between them:
To my nose Oajan is spicier, more apple pie like and more darker and more masculine .
Angels Share is sweeter, less spicy and more boozy and more feminine. They are both powerhouses in thermes of performance. I love them both and I will be getting a bottle of this one as well because they do not smell alike a whole lot to my nose.

bd78

Very very very very sweet with an extremely slight hint of cognac. Not a fan of how sweet it is. No apple pie. No cinnamon. Smoking hot is what angels share is trying to be.

Lex.xelestine

Doesn’t smell anything like BR540, don’t be deceived. Infact I’ll pick this 10X over BR540. The only fragrance from the house of killian that I’ll say is actually worth the price. My only fragrance that I get compliments from both men and women (with my other fragrances it’s usually either or). Perfect for fall or winter but I wear this bad boy all year round. I have a backup 100ml bottle and I would definitely get another. Going to Dubai this summer and hoping to get a perfumer to replicate this into a candle cause I want my house to smell like this.

Zpmghal

angles share on steroids, nothing else

bun1

An even more corporate BR540. Different notes (sort of), same intent. The synthetic vanilla combined with beastly performance add up to headache city for the large portion of the population who are sensitive to fake vanilla.

A corporate, mass-market bomb targeted to young people who just grew out of Cloud and will put this bottle's enormous price on their credit cards. Smells like Amazon+Tiktok+the mall. I dread the day I'm on a plane next to someone wearing this, not for myself but for the mood it'll put everyone else in. The thing is a social ill.

LetUsSpray

I can't write much more than what's already been written... This is warm apple pie smothered in buttered brandy. The wife loves this one and it's pulled a number of compliments around town. Damn delicious and perfect on a cool night out or a hotter night in... *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*

Philcarstein

Love the scent! However, I only get 2-3 hours max then I have to re apply. Too expensive to have to continuously use. I love the opening, boozy, warm, cider like; then the praline and vanilla come out. Great if you have the money.

BlaineAngelLovePrince

I've been wearing this scent since 2021. Its certified to get you flipped like a pancake

Gaboich

I tried this for the first time today and for me it just smelled like a strong cinnamon. It wasnt bad but i expected something better for the hype that its been getting

projection is amazing tho
longevtity is great as well.

if u enjoy it then buy it bc projection and longevtity is very good

rosebush340

To my nose this is 100% Escada Collection. I can't tell a difference. Not unique for me.

ThetideGoesWithme

If cozy was a bouquet, it would smell like this. Warm buttery cinnamon, with comforting boozy cognac. Not boozy in a bad way, it adds a richness to the warmth. I've not smelled another fragrance quite like it.

Wonderful for fall or winter, evenings by the fire or cozy movie nights. Not what I would consider a signature fragrance but a sniff of my wrist with this on it brings comfort and joy.

timsmellsg00d

Boozy apple pie. Sweet and sexy. Wearable for anyone and a perfect date night/ special occasion fragrance. Super high quality and a beautiful blend. Gourmand perfumery at its finest.
Scent: 9/10
Performance: 10/10
Price: 7/10
Overall: 8.6/10

Bizzy1995

Smells like warm cinnamon apple pie where the apples have been soaked in cognac prior to being cooked. Smells great but, how this is number #1 on fragrantica is a little crazy to me. Maybe top 20?

kerricj

really lovely cognac opening then it dries down to a spicy, slightly chocolately drydown with some vanilla and woods. gives off a slight apple pie vibe but there is something slightly off putting in the scent when it dries down though, can't exactly pin point what it is, best guess is something to do with the cinnamon mixing with the praline note. good entry level boozy fragrance for beginners or those trying out the house of kilian's. there are better boozy fragrances out there but i think this is the one most of us begin with, above average performance but the retail price is ridiculous. this is overpriced.

8/10

NightshiftGhost

Spent the whole day trying out perfumes and this was the one I liked the most!

How I would describe the smell: toasted apples with cinnamon, in a metal plate that smells reminiscent of the inside of a cola bottle. Smells sweet, spicy, and boozy.

I love that the sweetness is not cloying at all and suitable for a unisex fragrance. The blend of spicy and boozy notes gives a fancy, yet mouthwatering feeling. Such a unique fragrance and I would recommend trying it out! (It's price is insane tho, I'll be looking for alternatives :P)

Normannen

Smells just like apple pie, not bad, but it's a meh for me

Estacey3

Don't kill me... I DON'T like this. I can see why so many people do, but something in this is very off-putting. I do enjoy the layers of spice but over the sweet spicy base all I can smell is a wet apple note as if someone knocked over a freshly baked cinnamon apple pie onto the floor and then cleaned it up with an old musty wet rag. The sour apple pie note fades out thankfully, meanwhile there's a scent of rubber balloons (also similar to some yellow florals) throughout. That's just me though - I'm clearly a minority who can't tolerance it - I much prefer the dupes of this.

Olenchyk

I can understand why it's No1 most popular fragrance on Fragrantica. Such a crowd pleaser
Very sweet in a boozy, naughty kind of way. Very sexy
I am guessing that even people that do not like sweet perfumes would from time to time wish to smell tasty but not like a candy-sweet kind of way, more like a sweet spicy heady liquor. It's undeniably attractive and tempting. I only have a bit of an issue with the name, because there's nothing innocent and 'angelic' about it :)

Kaxq

My Sephora recently got Kilian on the shelves so I had the chance to smell this. This honestly blew me away, it's super sweet, quite boozy and a little spicy. A tad expensive but it is very unisex and I feel anyone aged 20-120 will dig it. I don't get the apple pie that people always like to talk about but that in no way is a bad thing. Definitely give this a sniff.

anamawsity

Started off unsure but this really grew on me. It smells like a super spiced apple pie. It sweetened over time and was so delicious. It’s very similar to Kilian’s Apple Brandy on The Rocks just with more sweetness. It has a beautiful sillage and lasts all day!

AHM81

Nice cozy perfume
Boozy and sweet
Well done well blended

11drop

It’s mid get Khaltat night way better and cheaper

monipod

I've spent a lot of time and money having fun with decants in the last year and Angel's Share was from the first sniff the only frag I would spend the coin for a full bottle. Per millilitre, it's very expensive. Is it worth it? I think so. I don't even want to try the dupe Kismet Angel/Magic) because I'm sure it'll make me want a full bottle of Angel's Share even more and it'd be a false economy. I'd rather put the money towards my Angel's Share fund.
It's just everything. Boozy, just the right amount of cinnamon to give you apple pie, and the tonka and wood are just nicely balanced. It's smooth. My nostrils don't hurt. I can wear a small bit to bed and my husband isn't noticing in a bad day. The next morning it's still a lovely skin scent and my bed clothes... Just smells gorgeous. It's a gift that keeps giving. It's a safe blind buy I feel, and if you don't like it, it won't be hard to move it on.

maddie2503

I love this so so so so so much. I was initially introduced to it through my mom, and it has since blown up quite a bit but for good reason. Smoky boozy apple pie. I love to wear this myself and obviously it's great on everyone but I loveeeee this on a man.

The price sucks and I wish it was cheaper but it really is worth every penny. This is just so delicious and sexy, it doesn't get better than Angels' Share in the winter. 1000/10

therealjeremyfragrance

This smells like heaven to me. I got it for free with a five finger discount from Sephora. Once I left the store I unpacked my lovely free sample and sprayed it onto my wrist. I felt something strange happen in my pants. I wore this over to a function where my girl was at. We got a little active and when my buddy smelled it on me he stopped my girl and started to orally satisfy me. Very powerful and sexy fragrance. 10/10

nruthh

I smell like a wonderful yankee candle. Like a Christmas pop up store in a charming Main Street in middle America, or potpourri in a cabin in the woods for a midwinter getaway.

I do not want to smell like this. It’s strong, boozy, and truly just smells like an apple pie candle. It doesn’t smell like a “perfume” exactly — it’s missing a certain humanness or musk or something, because it just smells like wonderfully scented wax. If that’s your thing, you’ll love this. It’s a great candle. I just … don’t want to smell like autumn scented soybean wax.

Candylover666

I bought a little tester decant last week of this perfume and ended up ordering the full bottle just 3 days later.
I loved it the very first time I smelled it and only ended up loving it more and more each day I used it.
The first thing that came to mind when I sprayed it was : apple pie! Freshly out the oven, juicy and sweet apple pie.
Considering it’s labeled as a warm spicy and woody fragrance I did not expect it to smell this way. It’s much more fruity and sweet than I ever expected. It smells like delicious apple pie, apple candy, cinnamon and vanilla - a true gourmand.
Heavenly scent, truly. I first thought it would be a waste to buy it now in spring because I thought this to be a more cold weather fragrance but I decided I didn’t care. Sure it would be a perfect fall fragrance but I think I want to smell like this all year round.
Also I know many people say this smells very boozy but I genuinely don’t smell it. I’m not sure what cognac smells like but it’s made from grapes so that probably explains the fruity scent I smell in the fragrance.
This perfume was such a pleasant surprise and it’s one of my favorites now.

Lbustos2

Angels Share is Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in a bottle. It smells exactly like a deep, boozy, burnt sugar-like apple pie. It smells delectable. It is a gourmand fragrance, without being nauseatingly sweet. It is just the right amount of sweetness. It smells like the holidays, as if there is a dinner party where everyone’s drinking brandy, there’s a spiced candle burning in the background, and there are some apple pies and cinnamon rolls baking in the kitchen. It smells like September to January. Festive, nostalgic, sweet, boozy, cheerful, and crisp. I love this perfume. I get compliments on it, but don’t wear it too often. It’s my special occasion kind of scent. It’s so beautiful.

linaluvv

the greatest thing ive ever smelt such a perfect perfume

Sorry_babyx

I feel like this has been duped so much that it lost its lustre. Also constantly smelling the cheap versions of it just exposed this for its own lack of originality. Maybe that’s just how i feel about cinnamon in general, it’s that one note that overtakes everything and instantly cheapens even the most masterful of blends.

Even after going back to smell the original Angel’s Share i still felt like it’s not that far off a generic dupe. It’s giving airport Starbucks, when the lid on the cinnamon wasn’t screwed on tight so you accidentally dumped a whole bunch of it into your mud water, while the next door at some Border Grill you smell smoking fajita plates and boozy cocktails.

archerries

Oh wow. A deliciously warm and boozy scent which completely exudes glamour. The cinnamon notes are very strong, with praline, vanilla, and cognac coming through too. Like a shot of brandy with a cinnamon roll chaser. Think molasses, apple pies and rum-soaked raisins. Not something I'd use as a woman, but I'd seriously go crazy if a man was wearing this.

Ice1Mocha

The first thing that came to my mind when I sprayed this was a delicious cinnamon-loaded apple pie straight from the oven when I let it dry down I started to get the cognac and the oak and chocolate-like notes I was getting the praline, the most special thing about this fragrance that amazed me is the quality of the oil and the ingredients it doesn't smell synthetic at all even the first I spray it on my skin I sniffed it immediately and I didn't smell any alcohol smell at all
am Glad I got it for 160€ for 50ml it was worth it

primaryunknown

I got this perfume in a sample set and it was my least favorite. I do not like liquor scents as I find them often layered too sickly sweet, they make me feel hungover from wear (like I might imminently barf). Definitely if you like liquor scents this one should be on your test list, but if you're like me and the alcohol with sweet makes you feel like you drank the perfume instead of spraying it, this is a pass.

istvan.buda.779

I’m wearing this is Miami right now in 77 degrees weather and smell so freaking amazing !!!!!! So no don’t think it’s only a cold weather perfume !!!!

Way overpriced for 50ml bottle. Opening smell like cinnamon roll and cognac. Last for long time but end up smell like drunken older man from my local pub mixed with cheap rice wine. I've received compliment from people tho, it's just not my cup of tea. I really love the cinnamon note but i can't stand other notes in this

Androgynous

Opening smells like Cinnabon at the mall.. dry down is where I can see how it becomes more unisex

khtse

smells like a cinnamon apple pie with a hint of alcohol
if you want to smell like pastry then it's a good choice

_hypnotic_

Any similar perfumes to Angels Share, just without smoke? Clones included..send me a message here or mail, it's on my profile, thanks!

nathanm0

absolutely beautiful scent, my sephora only recently got this and i was shocked when i smelt it, beautiful apple pie scent. on my skin it almost has a undertone of vetiver which i can’t hate

edinac

This is such a beautiful and luxurious fragrance. Opens up with a boozy cognac/vanilla that is soft and intoxicating. On my skin, the dry down is reminiscent of a warm apple pie with some soft woodsy notes. Absolutely perfect for Fall and through the winter. Women go crazy for this, one of my most complimented colognes in my lineup.

FinnNose

A lovely round well-blended wonder of a perfume. There are plenty of on-point reviews of the scent here, so I'll only share my one caveat in case you are the same as me: I have been sober for some 20 years now, and while I do tolerate, love even, some boozy fragrances, the cognac in Angels' Share is too much for me. I think it is too realistic for my nose. So if you are like me, sample first, especially if you are on a budget.

zinho

yea this here is special

hannahbananana

very foody apple cinnamon pie scent. reminds me of the victoria’s secret “whipped dream” body mist that was out a few years ago.

mikeyuwu

It’s an intoxicating scent. Very loud, warm, and spicy. Angel’s Share is so exquisite and expensive-smelling. It smells a lot like apple pie and cinnamon, and I can hear the cognac for sure as well.

It’s honestly a bit too much for me. After a while, it becomes cloying and sickeningly sweet. That might just be because I live somewhere usually really hot, though. Restrict wear to autumn/winter and you’ll be fine.

Projection is good, but not amazing. Longevity is great, though.

Highly recommend sampling it at least once if you’re into sultry, sexy, alluring scents.

Arber Cami

I like it but I dont love it. I had it and I sold it. Very cozy scent, perfect for the winter months. But too sweet and cloying for my taste. Also very expensive for a 50ml bottle.

t-martyniuk

smells like an apple cinnamon cake to me.
definetely lasts for a long time

Hellnut

I really hope next winter that my angel share have changed smell because right now the booziness is up the sky and vanilla, cinnamon is not there
like my sample smelt better, anyone who have some fragrance knowledge who knows if it maybe could change in smell

Toasty-shmoes

If Angel’s Share is too sweet for you and/or you don’t enjoy the dry-down, try “Calle Ocho” by Fulton and Roark. It is sublimely delicious with a much smoother dry down, but has a lot in common with Angel’s Share. Also, it’s a bit more affordable ($200 for 50ml).

TheFinalPurl

While the fragrance is obviously sweet it doesn’t feel cheap or sickening. All the listed notes feel extremely accurate but at the same time it feels impossible to describe and unlike anything else. There’s something nostalgic about it too. Definitely boozy, syrupy and warm. I don’t know how to explain it. All I can say if you like vanilla, gourmand, or anything remotely sweet: try to find an opportunity to test this. It’s incredible and I finally understand the hype.

Marinka71

I am really surprised to see at this is THE most popular scent on Fragrantica site.
On my skin this is ligt, vague, woodsy amber vanilla with some boozines, and sligt touch of cinnamon (which I hate in perfumes). The scent vanished into thin air form my skin in no time. Slight similarity to Vanilla 28 by Kayali, which beats Angel's share by a mile. I'm unimpressed, there's many better fragrances in the same category out there.

Wabdo_7

very sexy warm-boozy opening with that cognac, then eventually followed by a nutty, warm vanilla, and cinnamon with a hint of oak dry down, which gives it its depth. its sweet and sexy. people compare it to an apple pie, which i disagree with. To me, it smells more like a beautiful cake fresh out of the oven. I also saw a review here which said it shared DNA with PDM Oajan, which is true, and although I'm not a big fan of Oajan i LOVE angels share

scent: 10/10
longevity: 9.6/10 (i get around 9-10 hours)
sillage: 10/10 (strong projection for around 6 hours and a half or more even)
overall: 9.85/10

Abel96

It's sickeningly sweet, unbearable for me and sometimes I feel something like menthol in it, which doesn't fit the whole thing.
The price is also a joke for a 50ml bottle.
But at least it's durable.
The similar DNA PDM Oajan is much better in my opinion and cheaper as well.

CherryWavesforever

So I love this perfume. It is a non-sickly sweet cinnamon praline with a boozy twist. The booze dissappears after two hours and mosty cinnamon stays. The most inoffensive gourmand I've ever smelt. BUT! I just can't justify the price. The bottle looks and feels so cheap and the sillage is not that great. I can't bring myself to repurchase this, eventhough this was my everyday scent for the entirety of late autumn and winter. I have about a third left in the bottle so I will save it for the next autumn, but I won't be repurchasing it.

TobisDK

Holy this radiates through the room.
Wore only three sprays going to work. My coworkers all said it smelled like cake and people told me it was too many sprays, three sprays. So yes, this silage is enormous, and the longevity of the perfume is just crazy. Could smell it next day before showering. wow. I really love this perfume, 10/10 recommend men and women.
Plastic cap on a glass bottle throws me off a bit.

aseff

Its the little nuances that sets a great scent apart from the rest. This is a heavenly blend for intimate wears. People liken lattafa’s khamrah to this whereas that pungent overly sweet chemical mess has nothing on AS.

Tudor2008

AMAZING !

kitcat99

I thought I had a dupe for this in AFNAN ZIMAYA SHARAF BLEND but nope they are not a like! Maybe they share some similarities but Angels Share is much more boozy apple cinnamon. I’m glad I finally tried AS because now I know I need it.

Y.mrizaj

Damn I love this. I bought this just now and I can wear it every season idc what people say, I just love it. Its sexy, hot, warm yet fresh with the apple note! Just DAMN!

notTryHard

At first it smells like a sticky sugar smell (like those fruit roll-up packages), very off-putting.

On the skin, it turns into a basic sweet vanilla smell.

Very feminine fragrance.

KingMartio

Back when i thought any liquor note was odd in a fragrance i initially didn't appreciate it as much, but as my nose matured later on this is one of my top 10 fragrances for life

Its has very similar character to PDM Oajan but with a top note of cognac, the longevity is surprisingly good since i used a test strip and its been on for at least 6 days

However there are probably a few young people who like this fragrance since it leans more unisex and im looking forward to a full use and a full bottle.
10/10

traublee

Managed to get my hands on a sample of this and it gives me off a 'I just visited my granny and I can smell all the way from the doorway her delicious apple bake with cinnamon in the oven almost ready to be served' vibe. Its a very cozy/kind of an uplifting fall/winter fragrance.

When I first gave it a go it had a more of a boozy scent but as my nose was getting used to it, it couldn't get past the sweetness of the cinnamon and the sort of fruity vibes - almost apple-y or even quince-y.

It's sexy, intoxicating, and in my opinion, can be worn by everyone. Price point is a bit steep but it absolutely deserves the hype!
Rating: 9.5/10;

Anastuki

Some months ago I wrote a review for Khamrah by Lattafa, saying that they are NOT alike, there is just a resemblance maybe and that I prefer Khamrah cause of the price tag and cause it is more sweet and feminine. This smelled so much cognac for me at the beginning... Now some months later, boy oh boy!!! Yes, I still smell the cognac but now is mixed with delicious cinnamon, praline and vanilla and I think is the mix of all these that remind me of an Apple Pie, though there is no apple note .. It's boozy, it's sexy, it's totally unisex and not masculine as I first thought ... Totally worth the hype 🤩🤩

minhleee

sexy perfume, i love this one

overprice and a plastic cap

Popular for all the right reasons. This fragrance blew me away when I first put my nose on it.

It took me a couple of tries to appreciate the beauty of this fragrance, but now that I’ve really taken the time, this fragrance well and truly lives up to the hype for me.

I’ve been so disappointed with some of the more popular gourmands lately, so I probably went into this with a negative bias. The cognac opening was a little too much initially and I was worried that I would smell like someone spilled a drink on me. It was way too much for me and I didn’t bother to properly appreciate the scent.

However, I dug my decant out and decided to give this another go. Oh my god, how narrow minded was I? This is so good! The apple pie comparison is spot on. I don’t so much get the warm, buttery pie crust, to me this is all warm apple and cinnamon filling. I also really appreciate the oak in this, it’s really nice and earthy and blends beautifully with the other notes. 10/10 fragrance, I think the hype is very deserved.

Parnian.kh

I had to break the bank a little to get my hands on this one but boy do I love breaking the bank this way. This is truly intoxicating. I can't get enough of this maddeningly delicious juice. This heartwarming mood-lifting sexy honey-sweet- spiced-up ambrosia swirling seductively in all possible space-time dimensions, dancing hand in hand with woodsy nuances... God I can die happy now after having owned this. Will take this one to the grave with me

wognaldo

listen cuz, I quite like it when all the glamours are on me in the club, but when I hit this I wasn't getting the recognition I fully deserved yk? But its pretty good like the wood notes takes me back to my wooden roots.

TWN2RBO

Gorgeous woman’s fragrance, very sweet, boozy, gourmand. Smoking hot and Apple Brandy are more appealing to me, no way I could feel masculine wearing this though; wouldn’t go well with my long beard. Beautiful scent though. Ladies, this is a winner!

stardust_ziggy

My first several tries were “hmm, it’s okay maybe not my thing but not bad.” Then, one day recently, “this shit is good.” I couldn’t stop sniffing it and it kept being available to sniff.

It’s NOTHING like Dior Homme Intense, but it has that same sophistication and elegance to it. Boozy, woody, subtle apple and cinnamon. I really like it. I don’t like gourmands at all but this is clearly an exception.

Legions

Freshly baked cinnamon rolls after a long night on the town, with some hair of the dog comprised of the finest cognac to wash them down. One of those scents that makes you stop and really take it all in upon first experiencing it. It truly deserves the hype and popularity as this is one of the must luxurious and addictive winter scents you could find on the market right now. While it is a bit pricey, this is niche quality through and through. Also, all the people who call Khamrah a clone of this truly need their noses checked, as Khamrah definitely has some inspiration from this DNA, but all the nuances of their notes shine through completely differently between the two. And that's not to detract from Khamrah as it is a beautiful fragrance in its own right, and for its price, a real bargain that some could call too good to be true. Have not tried Kismet Angel to compare the two, but my sampling of the real deal just might lead to me to save up for a bottle of the real thing for next winter.
Longevity: 9/10 In niche terms, this lasts like most other niche houses with similar profiles, expect an easy 10-12 hours on skin at the minimum, and naturally an eternity on clothes.
Projection: 9.5/10 I had sprays of about 6 other fragrances on when sampling this,in the car and moving around, this overpowered all of them. I wasn't getting whiffs of anything else, and while most other things I had on were freshies, my spray was on the lower arm, so me getting wafts to that extent is still fairly remarkable. Even for cold weather oriented scents, this is positively beast mode.
Versatility: 6/10 As a guy living in a warm climate, I often try to justify use of my winter scents on nights out in warmer months with light spraying. I can't try to convince myself or anyone that this is appropriate in warm months honestly. This is a sweetness and cinnamon bomb in the best way possible, that in tandem with the booziness might kill people in the club if it's warm out given how nuclear this is. But this is also such a gorgeous fragrance it might be doable on a summer date night in the right venue with very conservative spraying. Once it's colder out, I could see myself burning through a bottle of this like its a cheapie because of how great it is however.

1gabriel1

As a lover of boozy, sweet and woody fragrances, this one was way too sweet. It does really smell like a boozy, woody apple pie that is heavy on the cinnamon, but holy hell how cloying it is. If I wore this in warm weather, I think this fragrance could knock someone out. I enjoyed the oak with the praline and cognac on the drydown at least. Maybe it'll grow on me, but I'm not sure.

Edit: After sampling this perfume on one of my button-ups, I have to take a whiff of it every time I open my wardrobe because it smells so wonderful. This perfume has definitely grown on me and it's stupid how good the drydown smells. It's also amazing how the scent is still strong after spraying it over a week ago! I understand the hype now, but regarding the price and that Kilian unfortunately is owned by the zionist brand Estée Lauder, I will never buy it.

luvfreshfruityfloral

smells like an apple pie w lots of cinnamon. Perfect scent for a fall/winter date night

istvan.buda.779

Going to wear this at Ultra Miami...i'lll report back how this works in Florida heat . I might get kicked out lol

iblamesaud

so disappointed honestly its really not worth it and I'm definitely not buying it again, it smells extremely sweet like a honey cake but not in a good way its way too sweet to the point I wanted to throw up, I tried to give it a chance but I couldn't, some people like it and I respect that but for me its a no

Tigerlilley9

I didn’t want to like it because i want to be *different,* but I wanted to get at least a little bit because I like to participate in culture as it’s happening and Angel’s Share is a big deal whether you love it or hate it. When I wear this, I am the sexiest, most expensive dessert a la mode in the room. I am also a little drunk.

I can see why people like this. I don’t get much of the wood. I only get vanilla, cinnamon, praline and cognac. It is fun to smell. It is also fun to bake and drink cognac.

Griffin6080

I love Angel’s Share. This scent is unlike anything else. It’s so boozy, sweet, and just smells like luxury.

ayadi

imagine something so generic and sweet you leave the store disapointed, yeah thats Angel share if you love the fragrance please get khamrah by lattafa this price is absurd and smells terrible

tukangciumparfum

Smelled 80 percent like HEROD but without the tobacco and add cognac to it.

cccontrasttt

Damn this gets a lot of hate, but I actually think it’s delicious. What’s interesting to me is that there’s a fruity smell in this, definitely not the smell of fresh fruits, but warm baked fruits which remind me of when you just take a freshly baked apple pie out of the oven. Also, I really love cinnamon which this fragrance has a heavy dose of, if you don’t like cinnamon, definitely don’t buy this. Oh and the performance, not great, but I don’t think being a beast mode fragrance would suit this scent

Jacobhutchinson25

An entry level niche scent.
Boozy, intoxicating, warm & decadent. Like a warm & fresh cinnamon pie with spilt cognac & tonka essence.

jlz076

smells like fireball

MARWAN ALMOQBEL

i love the smell of fresh cinnamon apple pies . i also love Angel's share

Saira1988

Found this to be absolutely generic and even disgusting. I don't get the hype at all.

pinkavocado

I imagine that this perfume is worn by rich lady who wear gold jewelry and lives in the city. For the Christmas holidays, she join her family in the cozy beautiful wooden cabin. She is covered with a blanket, looking at fireplace, enjoying cognac while the cabin smell of Christmas cookies and cinnamon. Rich, glamorous, luxurious scent

CozyK

First impressions - It's like stepping into a classy old English pub with great vibes. The person wearing this exudes warm and inviting energy, yet there's a touch of intimidation, perhaps because they seem larger than life—almost angelic or like a star.

The woody and spicy notes give off a sophisticated essence while feeling comforted by the vanilla and praline. The presence of cognac adds an inviting, warm, and alluring touch.

Over time, the scent transforms into a luxurious, fresh-out-of-the-oven apple pie à la mode. I adore this fragrance, perfect for fall and winter, brings a sense of warmth and happiness when worn. For extra freshness, I like to pair it with NR Pure Musk.

CorgRage

I hate the price tag for what it is, but I love the fragrance. I’ve tried a lot of different options to fill the hole Angels Share leaves, but nothing scratches the very specific itch for this formula. It’s warm and spicy, but intimate and airy. I don’t understand anyone who says this is a “beast” though. I wish I could have that experience, especially for the price. Oh well, this baby is still my winter signature.

Also, I wish they’d come out with an alternative bottle design, a refillable one for a seasonal promotion or anniversary. The presentation is so lackluster for the price, but I may be in the minority there. It's just not super classy and the cap seems cheap for what it is (yes, legit from the direct killian store.) The Killian “nesting” travel bottles are superior. Luxury prices should mean luxury from toes to nose, that’s what the consumers deserve and should expect.

I’ll keep an eye on this perfumer. With such a cult hit, I’m surprised he hasn’t gone crazy with releases.

Katyaintheact

This one was love at first sniff. I first tried it in Sephora and remember it being a deep, boozy, spicy vanilla. Now that I have a sample, it smells like booze, cacao, dried fruit, and wood. It's intoxicating and delicious but not too sweet. I can't stop smelling my arm. I tried a popular dupe, but it just isn't the same. I'm going to need a full bottle of this someday.

nxni

beautiful

mister_chaz

This perfume has been so hyped up, I almost avoided trying it for that reason. I see now why it's so popular. It's an intense spicy boozy scent, I detect lots of cinnamon and tonka, but also sweet tobacco?? although it's not listed. It has sweet delicious quality, but still a little more masculine leaning.

bodhi1009

The perfume really needs to dry down before it gets good. When I first sprayed it on me, all I smelled was loads of cinnamon. After it dries down it smells spicy, warm and cozy. The longevity is alright, it doesn't last that long (around 5h) on my skin. The projection is disappointing, after an hour the applying it the fragrance sits very close to the skin.
I feel like this scent would be good for special occasions, but to me it's not worth getting a full bottle (Especially with how expensive this fragrance is).

Khushi95

This is a very difficult perfume for me. As soon as I sprayed it for the first time , the only thing I got is cinnamon for about an hour or so. It was just like an apple pie overdosed with cinnamon and booze.I personally dislike the cinnamon note and unfortunately its the only note that i smelled on my skin.

But the dry down is where the perfume shined. The dry down justifies the hype this perfume gets. As much as i hated the opening the dry down left me wanting more of this. If only the cinammon was a little toned down I would have immediately got this but because of it I think i will pass up on angel’s share.

If you love the cinnamon spiciness with sweetness of vanilla and pralines this is a no brainer as the performance is terrific.

aidan_fragrance

saw a lot of hype about this fragrance and how it smells like a “warm apple pie” so i tried it out at my local sephora, it definitely did smell identical to an apple pie, and because of this, it’s a pass for me.

it’s definitely not bad but i just don’t see why i would spend almost $400 to smell identical to an apple pie. way too overhyped.

Atownmunz

This is perfect. I wish the made the Extrait 😁

Prunel

All around great fragrance. Unique, well blended, great performance. The price is just way too high imo. It costs 50 euros more than something like Tobacco Honey from Guerlain which is hard to justify.

Gourmandivi

I have issues with that perfume. I thought this perfume was soooo different and interesting and even tho it costs an arm and a leg, I bit the bullet and purchased it. The packaging and bottle are absolutely gorgeous. The smell to me is cognac and cinnamon, very sweet, slightly spicy. I love it but it gives me a headache everytime I try to wear it…

stilldragoner

To me the cognac note is too realistic, it’s a really nice scent that the women in particular in my life complimented but it just isn’t my taste. It makes me feel like someone spilled a drink on me or I’m talking to someone with alcohol breath. To be clear it isn’t a bad scent just a little too boozy for me. Other than that I get heavy cinnamon in the opening and some sweetness but the alcohol takes over for me. Just something to maybe note if you’re thinking about buying, after wearing it only a handful of times I knew it wasn’t for me.

StuddedLeather

This smells like a photorealistic churro. I don't get the apple note so much. But light, fluffy, juicy, yet slightly crispy churros covered in powdered crystallized sugar. It smells strong without smelling too THICK which I adore.
I love it.
Not artificial smelling at all.
But... that price? For a scent that could be replicated, albeit a little more synthetic for $100-150 less? I find myself putting the money towards more unique frags, gourmand or otherwise.

APLscent

This is an amazing fragrance, it’s warm, cozy and addictive. The longevity and projection is great and is one of the greatest smelling fragrances ever.

ricarvic

Masterpiece of modern perfumery!!! This is my favorite perfume out of my whole collection!!

Smocca45

my wife told me this scent smells like my sweat when ive been doing my lawn all day

jigginssean

Firstly, what a gorgeous scent. One of the best smelling perfumes I've laid my nose on. My only downside about it, and it's a drawback that deters me from buying a bottle is that after about 30 minutes of application, it is just a skin scent. No projection whatsoever. Perhaps my skin just doesn't suit sweeter fragrances as the fresher ones seem to do fine on me but not so much the sweeter stuff. I'll keep trying out my decant but I would be surprised if it suddenly started performing on me. Bugger!

raspberryk!sses

I adore this fragrance, in a way I didn't expect to when I first ordered a sample of it. I find it necessary to paint you a picture to show you what this scent encapsulates for me - to give you a lens into a memory of a painting I recall some details of, not enough to recall its name but enough to be reminded of it when I smelt this perfume. Picture this: A woman lays elegantly on rich furs partially clothed, heavy eyed, sensual and elegant. She bathes in the warmth of a fireplace which splays varying shades of fire against her skin and the warm cabin she dwells in. It's alluring and captivating. Something to stop and stare at, it catches your eye and draws you in. This is what this scent is to me. It's sweet upon the first spray, but not overly so, it settles and melts into the cognac and oak in a smooth enticing manner. The layers of each note meld so pleasantly with each other, each movement of my body projects the scent into the air and I find myself smelling it over and over again. While adorning it I feel like a different woman, that it perhaps depicts another side of me that I thoroughly bask in the confidence of - a good perfume does this for me. It is a very much suited for wear during the cooler months, and a fragrance I am absolutely willing to purchase a full bottle of in the future.

Ljena777

I tried it and feel in love with it. Not in the first few minutes though. It’s the dry down that makes me think about this scent all the time. When I smell it, I imagine a handsome man in a suit giving me a warm hug. Beautiful scent. Yes, it does smell like apple pie, but it’s the most delicious apple pie and I don’t even like apple pies! On my list to purchase in the near future. I think it’s a bit overpriced, but I’ll get it anyway.

Actxq

Oh man, I absolute LOVE this stuff. boozey sexy Apple pie fragrance is what it smells like to me. Best winter fragrance in my collection for sure, DO NOT try to pull this off in the summer please lol, for the sake of everyone around you this is a beastmode fragrance. Perfectly unisex to my nose, I can see male or females wearing this.

NewFragCity

Top Tier when it comes to scent profile

But its a bath & Body works type scent

There are a thousand candles, mists, and body washes that smell similar at bath & body works. Basically any Christmas-themed scent

I'll buy a decent but never a full bottle unless im rich

Nanalvzpink

It smells like an apple pie loaded with cinnamon.
This scent profile is better suited for a candle, not fragrance that goes on the body.
Big NO for me.

giuliana_b

I have to admit that I've been captivated by this scent, just like many others. Cognac and oak and it even had a smokiness to it, which I love. Dries down to a rich vanilla caramel. I purchased the small size from Sephora as I didn't want to pay the exorbitant amount for full size.

themassmonster

What a masterclass of a fragrance, powerful warm cinnamon apple pie scent however it is complex with super sweet and boozy notes. Value for money completely worth splashing the cash however i could understand how the sweetness could be overwhelming whereas for me that draws me in. Perfectly unisex, I don’t have problems as a masculine man wearing this and I am sure women would feel the same. Super addictive however I don’t get much of the supposed strong vanilla in the dry down to me I get the warm apple pie throughout. Lasts long and feels high quality on skin and performs well for me. Would be perfect for an evening event, however on a day to day basis I believe you would struggle to wear this (also it is very expensive)

ElStash

Very synthetic when discussing the booze side to this fragrance, the sweetness, let's just say I'm getting burnt apple pie( oddly enough never met women that prefer men to smell like an apple pie, let alone bake one, but lets continue on with this trending fragrance), then the oak steps in, reminding me a bit of a fireplace(perhaps i caught the cinnamon mixed with oak) , might have enjoyed this if that synthetic smell of booze wasn't lingering, is it bottle worthy? Debatable, holiday vibes in the winter (which tells you the outcome hasnt captured the vision )

Cloelles

This perfume is pure perfection. I´m very picky with evening scents, many of them are too much for my taste but despite it´s strenght this one is amazing. To me this smells like apple pie with a hint of cognac. It´s not too sweet and seems to have a beautiful subtle freshness that I smell as baked apples throughout the wear. Linear. Perfectly unisex. Amazing longevity and sillage. A masterpiece.

Aicfr

Beautiful nice and simple cinnamon vanilla scent

Fragerance expert

Ah, my apologies for the misunderstanding. If you're referring to the fragrance "Angel's Share" by Kilian Hennessy, then let's explore a perspective on disliking this perfume:

While many may find themselves captivated by the allure of "Angel's Share" perfume, for me, it's a scent that elicits a sense of discord rather than delight. Contrary to its name, which conjures images of heavenly delights and ethereal beauty, this fragrance leaves me with a feeling of discomfort and unease.

From the moment it touches my skin, "Angel's Share" seems to overpower the senses with an overwhelming sweetness that borders on cloying. Like an overly saccharine confection, it envelops me in a cloud of sugared notes that feel more suited to a dessert menu than a perfume bottle. The vanilla and caramel undertones, while undoubtedly luxurious, veer dangerously close to becoming sickly-sweet, leaving me yearning for a more balanced olfactory experience.

Moreover, there's a synthetic quality to "Angel's Share" that I find difficult to overlook. Instead of evoking images of aged oak barrels and refined spirits, it conjures associations with artificial flavorings and mass-produced confections. It lacks the depth and complexity that I crave in a fragrance, opting instead for a one-dimensional sweetness that fails to captivate the imagination.

Perhaps my disappointment stems from the lofty expectations set by its name. "Angel's Share" promises a sensory journey reminiscent of the coveted portion of whiskey that evaporates during aging, leaving behind a rich and complex aroma. However, what I find is a fragrance that falls short of capturing the essence of its namesake, leaving me longing for something more authentic and evocative.

In a world overflowing with perfumes that seek to transport us to distant realms and evoke forgotten memories, "Angel's Share" feels like a missed opportunity. It's a scent that fails to live up to its potential, leaving me disillusioned and longing for a fragrance that speaks to the soul rather than merely tickles the senses.

So while others may find themselves enchanted by the saccharine charm of "Angel's Share," for me, it's a fragrance best left untouched, a reminder that sometimes even the most heavenly scents can fall short of our expectations. Give me the earthy notes of moss and cedar, the subtle hints of spice and smoke – anything but the overly sweet embrace of "Angel's Share."

Mona708

Stay far away from this if you don’t like sweeter scents, and try to test it on your skin if you’re ambivalent towards them. I found sweet and somewhat feminine when I tried it on my skin; at the beginning I got a whiff of what smells like Indian Summer brand apple juice before the boozy notes kicked in. This would be way too cloying for warmer weather in my opinion, but to each their own. I like it for the most part, but it’s not something I’d want for myself.

danarst

I only get very dry cinnamon here and vague amber. This is supposed to fill up the room. Too sweet? Apple pie? Where?
Another stupid aromachemical concoction that some of us can’t smell properly.

I don’t know what’s worse, those heavy old choking florals that used to kill me when I was a child, or these modern magic BR540 scents that are supposedly super sweet and overpowering and I get almost nothing.
If this wasn’t a manufacturer’s sample straight from Kilian, I’d think I was being duped.

Zonaite

I think its a bit too strong for my liking and a bit too sweet (though that could be due to my sinuses acting up), got the 7.5 mL size, might wear again.

PeachFace

Such a lovely scent. A bit cognac-y before the dry down. The dry down is gorgeous. Very sweet, but not overwhelming.

Manano

It’s very heavy for me , don’t like .

ReubenRibena

In my opinion, this is the best winter fragrance you can get. The warm cinnamon, vanilla, and boozy notes are just perfect for the cold weather.

I am in love! Not super boozy, warm, inviting, and surprisingly feminine.

Update: my husband stole. I really like it on me, but it completely changes on him. More woody and almost smokey. He smells amazing

renee1

Fake cinnamon, stale booze, and maybe a bit of past its prime apple. At first, I smelled almost nothing then it opened up into that odd mélange. I was disappointed but at the same time thrilled I had not blind bought it based on others' reviews. I blind buy often and am rarely disappointed, but this would have made me sad. Luckily, I was close to home and could scrub and replace with something that works better on me.

lolllee2nd

Angels' Share is lively. It is delectible, sweet, fruity, boozy in the best possible way. It's really smooth and well blended without being synthetic. Smells soooo good. However, it's just too strong for me. I bought a small decant and tried wearing it a few times and just can't and am disappoint. However, I also bought a sample of Fire at Will. Fire at Will is not as complex nor as strong as Angels' Share but it is so much more wearable for me, a brown sugar vanilla scent that I love and its a little less expensive.

Actual Perfection/10. I was not expecting this perfume to completely floor me like it did. I smelled it in Sephora on a whim and immediately fell in love. It’s warm like a fresh apple pie without the synthetic apple smell, it’s spicy, it’s boozy, it is so beyond beautiful and sexy without being cloyingly sweet either. Lasts FOREVER too, it sticks to clothes and skin like glue. The tester paper smelled like the perfume for DAYS before it finally wore away.

Coolll365

Sooooo I’ve been trynna understand the hype behind this and I really don’t like it. I smelled this at Sephora and it just smells like raisins. Idk maybe that angels share is a bad batch. I own bara by Adyan and that is a supposed clone of angel share but Bara actually smells like the notes listed but angels share doesn’t lol

Bara by Adyan is 100/10
Angels share is a 2/10
In my humble opinion lol

I’ve absolutely convinced myself that this is THE best boozy fragrance of them all. I spent half the year looking for the perfect sweet, intoxicating gourmand fragrance and it’s definitely this. Not Side Effect, nothing else beats it. It’s heavy yet light and super easy to wear. And trust me, I wanted to find something that beats it but this is simply the winner.

feilldji

I am so in love with this one. To my nose it smells like a warm boozy apple pie with a woody ambery base. One of the best fragrance I have smelled in my life for sure. I want this one so much but it is really expensive. The performance I got when I tried it was good. It is exactly the scent I am looking for right now and I probably will buy it eventually. Incredible one.

zawwarahmad

Glad I decanted this first.

Top notes start with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, some earthiness, sweet and other spices
Middle notes: Can smell some candy like liqouirice and with cinnamon and some powdery scents, its comforting smell
Base notes: its practically gone now, similar notes from middle notes.

Very poor longevity. If this had more performance it would be a mix of DHP and Oajan. 7.5/10.

anjelisabel27

My initial impressions of Angels’ Share were overwhelmingly sweet,- a sugary, cinnamon apple pie fragrance that immediately enraptured me.
Now, having purchased the travel-size tube, its scent has expanded, richly saccharine but maintaining a subtly sour edge that I’d completely overlooked in my sampling phase. Long-lasting if applied properly, but extremely overpriced and may be too gourmand for some.

Kyer

After finally smelling the original I have to say I feel bad about ever bad talking about this.

I remember smelling like 2-3 clones and since they all smelled similar I thought that was Angels Share in a nutshell, I did not dislike it but it was definitely disappointing since I expected more from this popular niche, but all I got was cinnamon and cognac, that was about it.

I finally got hands on the original and oh boy is this different from the clones, I still get the boozy cinnamon like before but this time is way more complex than that, almost reminding me of a pie, a pineapple pie to be precise.
Granted, it is not the most complex nor the most unique fragrance in the world but it is definitely good and worth the price, no clone was able to completely imitate what Angels Share did.

AgenticaBond007

Smells like someone dumped tons of cinnamon in barrel of expensive booze. Pretty much it justifies it’s own name, evaporation from old barrel. It’s nice but nothing special. Doesn’t project. Way overpriced. I prefer other boozy frags from Kilian.

Yummy perfume . lovely . beautiful

akshat_dudeja

Boom, I'm highly impressed by every second of this perfume, and the number of seconds is also huge as it last super long haha. Now I would love to admit it, this has the same vibe of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, I'm not saying at all that they're similar in the slightest manner. It's just that they're both very masculine and very authoritative sweet scents that have a dark aroma. I've loved Tobacco Vanille for years even though I'm just 19 right now, but obviously due to my age most the people around me didn't have the taste for such mature fragrance that I've had since I was just 15 or 16, hence I find it difficult to wear Tobacco Vanille frequently and always wanted something that had the similar vibe but was much easier to wear. THIS IS IT!! People are so impressed every time I wear this. Guys, just get this one right away, this perfume is definitely the KING of first impressions, I mean as far as I know about my life, Tobacco Vanille and Angel's Share are my "first impression' perfumes, I wear angel's share as my signature scent cuz again, all my first impressions with this are always great, although I still use Tobacco Vanille whenever I'm meeting someone prominent or powerful for the first time. Love this to the moon and back.

LoveBitch246

This is not overpriced IMO. It is atomically strong, spicy, and sweet, but did not make me nauseous, induce a headache, or call to mind a cheap scented candle. On these factors alone, I assume some quality ingredients and blending went into this juice.
Opening is a lot, and the cinnamon is the star of the show and doesn’t quiet down until the last 2ish hours of wear. Couldn’t imagine more than 1-2 sprays at a time, and it lasted a good 10 hrs on me, even now, I can still catch a whiff if I put my nose to my wrist. Suits winter and fall perfectly. May have to grab at least 5mls at some point.

fubar

This smells like a delicious apple pie, straight out of the oven. The cinnamon and tonka notes combine into a warm, inviting and yummy fragrance.
Imagine it's a cold winter night, the oven has a cinnamon apple pie cooking, you're bundled up under a blanket.
This fragrance smells great, but I wish the sillage was better.

lucasthiring

WOW!! Thats the first thing that came to mind! If you're from Germany or have been to Germany and have tried Glühwein, its very similar! More Apple and cinnamon tho. VERY cozy! I can also smell the sandalwood. One spray is enough, its extremely strong! I sprayed it on my hand and my husband can smell me from the kitchen or when i walk past him. Definitely more of a autumn and winter smell.

ionut_4293

Too much cinnamon. Cinnamon is a note I can’t stand so sadly I won’t be getting a full bottle of this. I love boozy scents but I have a few notes I stay away from when they’re dominant.

Scentyromy

Nice frag but It don't deserve the hype IMO. Boozy scent, gourmand but overpriced for it lack of originality.
Oajan and Ambre Narguilé stays light years ahead!

PartzyPadz

amazing sweet cognac boozy scent 100%

Ferg1

Too fem and predictable, and i'm saying this while i don't like too masculine scents. Smells good but it doesn't impress me.

GayFrag

Went into this fragrance absolutely blind. I didn’t know what the notes were, I just knew many people think highly of it.

The opening (to me) had this very dusty black pepper note, like someone forgot they had a pepper shaker in their house. It did not get the boozy cognac note at all.

Upon dry down, this perfume (to me) smelled like the original formulation of Tokyo Milk Dark’s Tainted Love but with this too-sweet oak smell.

I wasn’t aware that the Angel’s Share is supposed to be what gasses off of the oak barrel in the distilling process. My assumption is that people smell the cinnamon note and instantly assume apple pie? I just didn’t get apple from this.

Also for a modern perfume, I think it’s a powerhouse, one spray was more than enough.

I’m also starting to assume that despite the price, this perfume might be marketed to people in their 20’s. I’m in my 30’s now but I remember really liking Black Opium, Jimmy Choo Illicit and Stella by Stella McCarthy at that age... I’m assuming this is like the new generations version of that. This perfume did not make me feel sexy or confident. I’d personally recommend buying Tainted Love (I think it’s like $40) and layering some boozy vanilla perfume over it... it’s not gonna cost you $230 and (I think) you’ll smell better.

David_stojan00

A beautiful boozy fragrance. It reminds me of a freshly baked apple pie. A perfect fragrance for a night out, or going to a restaurant. So yummy, and all age groups can wear this imo :)

GAK15

Went to sephora to try some fragrances, came across this masterpiece and absolutely fell in love. I bought a travel size for a price I kinda regret but its still worth it. This smells like a relatives home during the holidays, the warm colors and smells of apple pie with cinnamon, chocolate, a little bit of rum. It's just a shame how high the price tag is on this.

Cinnaminominameenomomin

As soon as you spray this on you get an amazing sweet apple pie smell, which I absolutley loved, until I got to the dry down where I got a lot of the booziness and woods that felt a bit too overpowering for me. I also compared this to Khamrah Lattafa and felt kind of dissapointed as for this kind of price tag, I didnt feel like there wasn't a substantial difference between the two where I would buy Angels Share instead of Khamrah.

Definitley a let down for how hyped and expensive this fragrance is and there are better clones/alternatives out there that smell very similar and will save you lots!

6/10

MrMrBrian

I own L’Huere & I love that on me more than any fragrance I own! I keep putting this one off & when I get ready to purchase all & I mean all the legitimate sellers, Even the legitimate sellers on eBay will be out of it & I seem to keep missing out on it I don’t know if anyone else sees or notices this. But yeah, especially lately! & can surely see why. Every other other time I order samples I’ll get a carded sample of this & Not only do I myself really enjoy it, The complements I receive are off the wall when I’m really wearing it for just me! It’s just so many fragrances out there, Can’t get em all, But will stop passing up on this soon despite it’ll be hot weather again here in Tx soon

Ghost13

So sexy, boozy, apple pie. Which is odd because there is no apple note I think? The cinnamon is very prominent which makes this read as more of a masculine perfume for me. Though I still think this would be amazing on a woman. Very much a fall and winter fragrance though.

Stefan Salvatore is what I think of when I smell this perfume. Honestly, I don’t know why? It’s so comforting and soft, sexy and bold. It just reads like him. I think this is what he would smell like at least in my mind.

pureangelgirl

now let me describe this poetically as i do for the best scents.
you're sitting in a luxurious bar, with soft instrumental music playing in the background. the sun is setting and the light is the most beautiful gold hue, you look into a pair of dark brown eyes and they transform into a vibrant, swirling, sweet honey. the barista makes your drink. it's the most delicious bourbon whiskey with equal parts cognac, sweet vermouth, its creamy but bitter, sweet but sour, with a vanillic breath to it. even when you smell it you can feel the stickiness in your nose, and sipping it warms up your throat. before you know it you're intoxicated. the feeling is euphoric and calm.

pureangelgirl

GORGEOUS and BEAUTIFUL, unique, never smelt this on anybody before.
i don't have the original (sadly), only it sprayed on a paper strip.
if you're looking for a beast of a dupe, which to me is at least 93% IDENTICAL, buy yourself Montage Intense by Grandeur Elite. it's not really been discovered as a clone yet, so it's unlikely to be sold out (cough cough, unlike kismet angel and khamrah). its super solid.

Plakatlek

One of my favorite scents I've ever owned.

Has a very "Dead Poet Society" or "dark academia" vibe to it. Sophisticated, intelligent, refined...yet warm, comforting, and festive. Brings back memories of being a university student in the winter, shortly before Christmas break.

A truly unisex scent, this works perfectly for both men and women.

Has a dark, sweetness with a lot of depth and maturity to it. It's not nearly as "boozy" as it is reminiscent of warm cinnamon and woodsy, though. Absolutely a winter scent.

Would recommend this for women and older gentlemen. Not as suitable for adolescents or young adults, in my opinion. This is not a "youthful" scent.

Miumori

the dry down is very similar to mfk gentle fluidity gold, but the opening of this one has cinnamon

dylan.collects

People are like seriously hovering over this perfume in every store. Its for a reason- yes it might be a bit too populair but it is still a wonderfull scent. It changes throughout the day, its totally unisex and its gourmand without being to sweet. I love it, and no matter how populair it gets, I will still wear this!

Longevity: 8/10 Last 8 hours
Projection: 7/10 Its okay, atleast needs 3 sprays to project.

Bottle Design: 10/10 you cant beat this design... no one can!
Price: 3/10 Its price is based totally on popularity.

n.ben885

wrote a review a while back absolutely loving this fragrance, saying it smells like a luxury apple pie, don't get me wrong it still does, it still smells good. Unfortunately I had to sell it because it was too sweet and strong for me, wore it 3 times and felt nauseous.

NightKnight

I was so excited to try this scent after hearing all the hype surrounding it but I was unfortunately very disappointed. I was expecting a sort of boozy apple pie but all I got was heavy cinnamon and oak. it toned down a bit after the dry down but still smelt very unpleasant on my skin, way too overpowering and hurt my nose. Smells like a whiff of very strong alcoholic cider topped with copious cinnamon but you accidently got too close and breathed in the cinnamon.

Basic9

Beautiful straight from the opening, very sweet, boozy, and spicy. As Angels Share matures throughout the day the vanilla shines through as it morphs into smelling like a freshly baked apple pie. When I received my sample it didn't blow me away at first, when I kept smelling my sample it quickly became one of my favorite fragrances. I had to pick up a 100 ml.

Great evening scent for very special occasions. Smells like a fancy Christmas party when everyone's eating dessert: identical to apple crumble + Fireball. Super rich and has insane staying power and projection, definitely don't spray too much.

mugIer

If you know what anise is, this smells exactly like it. Cute! I enjoyed it, but after looong hours of wear it smells a bit bad on me. Maybe just a me problem! Still lovely smell. I wouldn't pay this much though.. 🙆♀️

Ollieking103

A lot of cinnamon in the opening

1MilParfumGOAT

Really nice, captivating scent. I think its only a little overpriced, but for me its worth it

Oceaniics

I really like Angels Share, def a fragrance that is 100% worth the price. I enjoy the sweetness of the cognac mixed with the cinnamon and powdery vanilla. I'm afraid I have to disagree with most others who compare it to an apple pie or any mention of an apple smell. Maybe people confuse the sweetness of the cognac with apple or expect to smell like an apple pie because of the cinnamon. Regardless, this fragrance is still a 10/10 and one of the best By Kilian.

JackedFragrance

This is one of the nicest fragrances I have ever experienced, it smells like a boozy apple pie and lasts all night. Wear this on a date or to a special event. Greatest blind buy in my collection, highly recommended.

621moni

I love the initial spray so badly, but the cognac escapes quickly and all I smell on the dry down is cinnamon and oak. I think oak is overpowering enough in any fragrance so the cinnamon makes it feel like a 1-2 punch. If anyone knows of a similar fragrance but without cinnamon, give me a ring.

matchagpo

apple pie, 10/10

eoindn

samples now available at www.eoinaromas.com :) Good prices right now

Studphobic

A ride or die for me. I will always have it in my collection. I tend to save it for specific events or when I just crave it. Beautifully boozy. It smells like a decadent cinnamon apple pie. And it lasts for over 12 hours on my skin, and days on my clothes. It is expensive though, so I tend to wait for sales.

Loccl

i think its wayyyy to overpriced, like $300+ for a small glass is crazy.
however, i put it on at an airport so i could feel rich enough to own it, had a 3 hour flight, an 8 hour layover, than a 7 hour flight, than a 4 hour drive home. than the NEXT DAY i still smelt it a bit on my shirt. that was insane to me.
So, it smells great, lasts longer than some peoples relationships, and you get to smell rich since you need to take out an extra loan on your house to afford one!

i hope this helps. love you :)

tbhunter

Boozy, Beautiful, Heavy, Sensual, Sexy. Not a daytime scent, but wear this if you want people to have the desire to take your clothes off. This scent embodies the word "lust" to me. It develops layers overtime and nothing will ever dupe it. Not too sweet, not too bitter, not too feminine, not too masculine....JUST RIGHT. Perfection. I love it, and the lasting power makes the price worth it.

anjavuko

To me, this is such a unique scent. I smelt it once and was obsessed ever since. The first thing I thought of was a fresh hot cinnamon bun. I’ve been looking for a cinnabon-esque perfume for almost a year now but all the ones I have smelt have been over powering with the cinnamon, and not enough sweet notes to balance it out. The cognac gives it an edge that smells quite sophisticated and it’s the perfect grown up gourmand scent in my opinion. I finally got it a few days ago after using testers and decants for a few months and I’m in love. I haven’t found a scent that compares with it, and I’ve tried the Lataffa dupes but they honestly cannot compare. It smells like a dessert, it’s so inviting, warm, and delicious. I love the praline note, it gives it the perfect amount of sweetness, and I also love the way it dries down. I also think it smells even better after you’ve had it on for a few hours. It lingers on my clothing for so long. If you wanna smell like a cinnamon bun, I recommend 100%, it’s SO good.

Aniorlamem

This is a nice perfume. It opens warm and syrupy with cognac reminiscent of cinnamon apple pie like others have mentioned. The tonka bean comes through shortly after, and it all feels very inviting. Then after maybe an hour or two, to my nose it starts to smell like barbercide. Lots of aftershave happening. Not what I expected, from reading reviews or notes. Not bad exactly, just unexpected! However now that I’ve worn it a few times I definitely feel like this would suit my husband much more than me. It’s a sexy, warm masculine leaning scent. Lasts on clothes for days. I’d be happy to hug my hubby wearing this. Personally tho, smelling like a barbershop is not what I’m going for. Still, I’d recommend for someone who likes that kinda thing.
