I used to be obsessed with this brand. I tried Kissing after falling in love with princess, and to me kissing smells like a sexy… dr. Pepper! It smells like soda. And the sillage is indeed intimate. Wouldn’t purchase again

OfTheValley

I am not a flower forward person, and even if I love gourmand fragrances, I find LDBS a bit too much.
Nonetheless, I like (a lot) citrus vanilla scents with flowers, like L de Lolita, Lira, Unknown Pleasures, Avocado Co Wash and so on.
After Devotion came out, I tried it and found it pleasant but not groundbreaking. And it was gone within an hour on skin anyway. Now I have this Kilian's Kissing Burns as a tester on since 9 hours on skin and it reminds me of Devotion, but with a creamy edge to it and a sharp touch of lily at the opening: I like it! To the performance:as I wrote above, 9 hours and still going strong. FB worthy!

Vesperexa

This has a note in it that really bothers me, I don't know what it is. It doesn't fit in and it smells weird and funky. It's mostly in the opening and fades after a few minutes. I think it's the lily of the valley I don't like because it smells harsh and musty, and it clashes with the other notes. I like this but I don't love it. It's a nice, sweet, floral lactonic with IMMENSE staying power, but unlike the reviewer preceding me, I think in a comparison with Blanche Bete, it falls short. BB is more dramatic, more complex, more interesting, more sexy, more unique. This, to me, is a lovely, mildly interesting, sweet lactonic, but sort of middle of the road and doesn't really stand out. Just my opinion. It's not super lactonic either imo.

nanaa_from_ghana

I’m really sorry to the people this didn’t work for but for me, this is a stunning way to do a lactonic forward fragrance with florals. Everyone is raving about Blanche Bete but IMO, this is a better use / combination of florals, vanilla, and milk. Kissing is not nauseating at all like BB, and has a fresh, sweetness to it that’s not cloying at all.

I pretty much get each of the notes here in equal doses and contrary to popular belief, this is well blended and doesn’t feel like the notes are fighting each other (as they do in Blanche Bete). The Lily of the valley gives it a slight soapy feel without taking away from the sweet, creaminess of the overall composition. I personally really love it and it reminds me of a sweet and delicious floral bubble tea. The bergamot note at the top gives it a bright, happy-go-lucky vibe that I really love. This instantly puts a smile on my face when I wear it.

Projection is moderate when applied well and the longevity is pretty great. It’s not going to totally come off you until you wash it off and performs even better when sprayed on clothes. I would say this is appropriate for all seasons except summer, but can be worn day or night. The milk not might not be everyone favorite or work well on everyone’s skin, so try to test it before you buy it (hard considering now it’s been discontinued).

While the name is ridiculous, I think the scent is very beautiful and I’m happy to have it in my collection. I will definitely be wearing it more this spring.

LadyJedi

A boring milky floral with mismatched notes and lacklustre performance.

darkflaneuse

This smells like the electrolyte powder you dissolve in water after a long run. Cheap and synthetic and gives me a slight headache.

rezzmail

Two things: I hate the name and hate the bottle, but I can't help but love a milky floral.
Sweet, creamy with a hint of rose and lily of the valley, and just nothing too much. This is such a simple scent I feel smells oh so soft and comforting.

Michael Couture

My favorite Kilian perfume. I remember first trying it when it was winter. It made me feel so cozy and warm.
Most realistic hot-milk in perfumes. Sugar gives it cozy feeling.
Lily-of-the-valley breaks the sweetness so it won't give you a headache.
Simply the best! Love.

silthrill

A whole bunch of mismatched notes 😣 green and milky and sugary and then a lily thrown in to top it off. A hard pass. I feel like Hanae Mori is a better alternative to what this was trying to achieve.

haechans

the notes sound pretty good but why tf is the name so long?! 😭 kissing doesn’t even burn 6.4 calories per hour

HMY

Ok so when I read reviews and it says lactonic I was like wow I need to try it. Especially, because princess is one of my fav perfume. But this one? I don't smell any lactonic, it hits me hard with Lilly of valley and bergamot, very saury strong smell. I tried on my wrist and I was thinking to give it a try to transform but I just could not take the smell. Apologies but it's terrible smell for me. I would say that if you are fan of flowery, saury strong scents then perhaps go for it.. If you are expecting lactonic, sweet, vanilla smell.. Nope.. I don't even smell any rose and rose note reacts with my body very well. It can last all day.

Zethre

Rose but with a marshmallowy / turkish delight twist. Big sillage, good strength

Moeytja

This scent. The first time i smelled this i was blown away and just had to buy it. Wowed and beyond.

Unique as hell, sweet creamy, milky, green and fresh. Vanillic. Clean, cozy. Soapy and milky! I love these scents for early mornings at home or before bed. Pj or something extremely casual type scent.

The issue came later in the drydown. Acrid, sour, bitter, animal pee. Amonia. In the best possible way LOL.

It can have a strange drydown im not gonna lie, but its very addictive. As addictive as a glass of soap milkshake. That i need to have. Lol. One of a kind.

ScentBliss555

Some unpleasant words come to mind while wearing this: acrid, bitter, nauseating.
Yet, I'm still enjoying this. It's not boring and it shocks my olfactory system. I love sweet scents and I find it fun that it holds out until the drydown to simmer into sweetened territory not mention the drydown is intoxicating.

I get a very strong Lily of the Valley at the center. Then all of the vividness and greenness gives way to some milkyness. Sensual, soft, lactonic and sugary notes appear in the background until that is all that's left in the drydown.

It makes me want to spray and do it all over again.

Challenging scent, risky blind-buy.

Likilichi

You’re not really in the comments section for a flowery self absorbed description of this perfume. Neither am I. I did however read a bunch of the comments below and it seems that, based on the perfume’s rating here on fragrantica and the feedback below, lots of people are, at best, mildly enthused by this scent. That’s not how I feel about it. If you like the other scents in this range you’ll like this one. If you don’t have any experience with those, then I’d say, if you like powdery soft things that nonetheless have a sharp edge to them, you’ll love this perfume.

Tunzz

Sweet, creamy, gourmand with a little bitterness that makes it more grown up, mysterious and unique. Slightly powdery.

Starts off floral but develops into a sweet, creamy, bitter scent. The bitterness is kinda earthy and dirty, like ground leaves. It’s bitter in the way that Gucci perfumes are bitter. Kinda reminds me of flora by Gucci. They’re not the same in anyway but they have the same DNA going on. If flora by Gucci is in the floral category, this would be the gourmand version.

SprayLove

An amazing fragrance. I'm a man and I've worn it a lot but I could see it's more a feminine scent (I don't care about that though!). Lily of the valley is one of my favorite flowers and I like the sugarey lactic vibe of the fragrance. Very powerful and winter friendly. Sexy time with your partner worthy. Lingerie worthy. Very comfortable. A +

onaona

I hate leading with something as nondescript in perfumery as I love it and it's wonderful, but I do and it actually is!! :)

I wouldn't say green or fresh, not even on top, and it's far more bakery than savory (spicy, salty) to my nose. I thought maybe my sample was playing tricks on me, but my full bottle has the same presentation on my skin. Thank goodness!

Kilian's Kissing is warm and smooth. I appreciate the lack of edges, though, with the listed green notes and lily of the valley, I was sure there would be some sharpness. So while lily of the valley does not stand out as a floral or green here for me, I do think, along with the milk, it provides a subtle density that is key to the comfort of this fragrance. Don't let me misrepresent Kissing as thick or heavy, it's neither, but it's not light and breezy either.

At its heart and straight through the base, Kissing is vanilla-specific and sugar-sweet, milky (not savory for me), surprisingly sensual given the sweetness, and cozy.

All of which leads me right back to my first thoughts, I love Kissing, it's wonderful :)

Noteworthy
projection is within 6ft
long-wearing
sensual, cozy, warm, sweet, milky, well-rounded, and sadly (I believe) now discontinued. Hopefully not.

fantomette

This is good! Unfortunately, the lily of the valley and the green notes are prominent on my skin and screechy, which gives me headaches. All of the perfumes from this line that I have tried give me headaches for some obscure reason… 😅
Apart from that, it’s a good milky scent! It smells a little like a kid’s shampoo though.

DesertFlower2021

Because the whole line My way of love was discontinued (though Kilian himself gives hints that at least some of the creations may come back in the near future) I had to blind buy this perfume which is something I hate. Also, the reviews of the fellow fragranticans are very diverse, clearly this perfume is either a big yes or a straight no. However, in my case it worked and I am so very happy to have taken the risk, it is just beautiful! Very unique and unlike anything else in my collection. On my skin I get warm, kind of spicy and very sexy scent, definitely not green and not that much gourmand either. Not at all juvenile, fall/winter/evening type of fragrance imo. Absolutely love it!

Gruhlanska96

I have a 100ml bottle for sale / in EU please /

patimbam

I was so disappointed... at first. It grew on me, this perfume is so unique! Lactonic and white flower notes are developing beautifully on my skin.

mrshnchnkm

I've been testing it for a few weeks now and I still don't know if I like it or not. The first couple of hours are just a lily of the valley, a lot of lilies of the valley. I very rarely like white flowers on myself and they often cause me a headache. Here the lily of the valley is very rich and juicy, so every time I'm on the verge of a headache.

After a few hours, vanilla and milk appear. Vanilla and lily of the valley? Good combination. Add milk there? This is already controversial, because milk does not give creaminess, but rather smell like sour milk.

So it reminds me of breakfast in the village - freshly baked vanilla cream buns, a glass of kefir and a bouquet of lilies of the valley on the table.

ClaudiaSmellsGood

I guess I was rushing when I accidentally liked this fragrance because now that I have tried to wear it for the day I hate it. It really stinks bad like animal piss. I had to return it cause there’s no way I will ever enjoying that on me. It’s a no for me.

SandiG

I adore lactonic accords and vanilla and was extremely fortunate I could sample this in store before I hit the purchase button on line. This shockingly turned a sour bitter mess on me about 3 minutes after the initial spray, I had to scrub it off. I got absolutely none of the lovely notes and accords described here, just what seems like strong foul sour dusty milk that's gone off. This type of reaction very rarely happens to me so buyer do beware, definitely not blind buy safe.

diluted paintbox

On my skin, this perfume is exactly what it wants to be and I love it.

It opens with green Lily of the Valley, which becomes sweet quite fast. After 20/30mins happens the twist-from green to creamy, which I find amazing and very intriguing.
Then comes the milk part, which I love the most.
It settles down into vanilla, yes, vanilla milkshake as reviewer before me has noticed.
But everything stays kind of fresh, Lily of the Valley never really disappears and I wouldn't say it's vanilla fragrance.

I love it because it is light greenish gourmand, not at all sticky nor cheap green and it behaves really good on my skin, feels quite complex. I think I was searching for something like that. Great gourmand for spring, can't wait!

coffeefifofum

Opens light and fresh then turns into a vanilla milkshake. Smells like the fanciest fragrance at Justice. Not for me.

mandyads

It is exactly how the most heavenly eucalyptus sheets in the world would smell and feel... they are smooth, luxurious, enveloping you in comfort. Imagine you could shrink down to the size of an elegant fairy arising from a light slumber, still enveloped in the captivating aura of your sheets. This comforting awakening is exacerbated with the natural rock of the floating white lotus on which you lay. A lovely, ethereal spring fairy grounded by the white and green freshness that surrounds you.

The opening is very fresh, like springtime linen with a sweetened milky background. It smells how lilly of the valley plants look: delicate, soft... spring-like but not necessarily youthful. As it dries down... this fragrance becomes, hands down, the fabric softener scent of my dreams and I truly enjoy it, but I would not wear this on my skin as a perfume. For those who do enjoy this on skin, I think it is creamy enough to wear in the colder months and fresh enough to wear in the warmer months depending on your own tolerance. I love near-cloying gourmands and dense fragrances, so being that this is neither gourmand (lactonic, but not gourmand) nor dense to my taste (it is simply creamy and maybe a little thick) ... it would easily be tolerated in the heat with the appropriate spraying technique. For day or night, this is a fragrance reminds me of a cleaning day or Netflix and chill, so to each their own in regards to an occasion in which to wear this. The projection is moderate (less than arm's length, but not a skin scent). The longevity is also moderate and lasted for several hours. Not sure about the sillage.

UPDATE: The vanilla starts to shine much deeper into the fragrance. It becomes sweeter and even more lactonic; however, all the other details still stand. Not a fragrance I would want to wear per se, but I can see why people would really enjoy this. If I could get my hands on it for cheap or for free, I would add it to my collection but have no idea if I would actually wear it outside of the house.

marty15312

To me this smells exactly like Dama Bianca (xerjoff/casamorati). I think my nose must be broken!
I love it. I also love dama Bianca.

hayali

This is just a no imo. You can use it and like it of course but it's not a safe purchase, try before hand please.

In my personal experience I smell a glass of expired milk with sweet vanilla left for a few days at the sun, it's just a very weird and nauseating scent for me, also I tried it both in paper and skin and both ways that sour and expired milk smell was always present, this lingers for 2 days at least, maybe if the drydown was softer... but no. This thing is strong and my stomach suffered until the smell disappeared after 2 days.

So yes it's a nightmare that I would run as fast as possible to get away from it.

luminaries

It starts with a really great mix of bergamot and lily of the valley before the vanilla comes through. It's so creamy and lactonic, but it never muddles the green notes, the lily of the valley really holds its own in this. The dry down is then almost exactly like the smell of the original Nivea cream. It's strangely compelling, but I wouldn't personally wear this. This one had an intimate sillage and lasted around 5 hours.

jessr777

I can’t with these names….But I am intrigued by these weirdo creamy green fragrances from this house “…Adults” is another I just tried. They’re so different that they’re really addicting. I do love that you can’t place who this is for. I have no idea what age or occasion this would be appropriate for, so nothing’s off limits. You could really make this your own and no one else would smell like you. I never felt like the name “Alien” suited that fragrance, but it could suit this one. I can’t tell if I genuinely like this or if I just like how different it is. Super sweet.

Millapetrovich

This is a very weird fragrance. To me the opening is a very strong bergamot with lily of the valley and the drydown smells like Nido powdery milk. Not a safe blind buy!

fyetan

Starts very sweet lily of the valley, all sugar and floral.
The milkiness emerges about half an hour in. It adds a smoothness, creaminess, again a sweetness but I wouldn't really call this a milk perfume.
During drydown it's half floral and half cream. Quite beautiful, quite unique.

vickkfleur

I blind bought this in a 1 oz bottle on ebay and i don't think i'll be sizing up. It's very milky and sweet with some green elements to it. No crazy longevity or sillage.

Punkrockbebop

I thought these Kilian balls would be overly sweet and easily dismissible, but they are better than I thought they would be. This one starts off very green with the lotv. Dries down to a pretty, creamy, sugary floral. Reminds me of a Solstice Scents rose mallow scent, but more complex. Sourish, Nivea-like creamy skin cream with a gourmand vanilla-based sweetness. Almost like rose ice cream with lemon curd. A compelling like.

Coalita

It's delicious, sweet, creamy, milky - I can't find right words to describe this perfume.
Totally nice! Not offensive. Safe office fragrance. Perfume distance is not huge, but I can feel it close to me.
Long lasting - now it's 10 hours on me and I still feel it quite good - on my cold type skin now it's milky & creamy & sugary and very cosy.
Very good blended.
Love it! Happy I bought it!
On my taste - it's not unisex - I think, it's too sweet for men.

RandomPatterned

I'm not a bergamot fan and thankfully it doesn't really stick around. The lily of the valley and rose seem nicely balanced and not too prominent. The dry down is nice, perhaps the green notes give it a some freshness that tames the vanilla sweetness a bit. The milk is barely there, thank goodness. Sometimes milk in frags seems sour and a tad nauseating to me. I don't think Kissing Burns 6.4... projects much or lasts long. Pleasant but not to the degree of wanting to seek it out.

Dramaloladiva

Oh how I love this fragrance! This is such a beautiful blend, floral, sweet, uncomplicated yet so complex.
A pure joy to wear in cold weather.
It has been discontinued but you can still find it places...
I love it!!

Wiktoriaaaz

Hmm… I don’t know.. I sourced this in U.K. which is impossible and was so excited to finally be able to try it. The lily is soooo harsh in beginning and stays throughout, it’s a rather grandma ish floral and it’s LOUD in this fragrance. Once it dries down it becomes softer. Maybe then there’s some creaminess but I’m yet to actually find lactonic voted lactonic scents lol.

Green notes, maybe the lily is very green in beginning, but that’s about it. I also get the rose quite a bit. I’m selling this.

Bloodlust

Nothing about the composition makes sense, and that’s why I love it.

What a beautiful scent borne from a NIGHTMARE of discordant concepts. Shrieking and sweet yet floral and creamy, this is the fragrance version of a biblical angel. Gruesome, and screaming “please don’t fear me”.

Creamy, sweet cinnamon ice cream and a bouquet of white roses dipped in sugar. A fever dream.

I absolutely never want to be without it - it feels like the general public is likely to disagree, but that sounds like a “them” problem.

Perfumemakesmehappy

This is beautiful!! To me, it’s a beautiful sweet vanilla rose scent!! I’m in love! At first I couldn’t determine what I was smelling But, after many months of training my nose to different notes, this is a beautiful sweet milky Rose!

Juspaigeme

Let me start by saying this is probably my most favorite perfume of all time! Hot milk and sugar with lily-of-the-valley and green notes. The opening is a little citrusy and tangy then when it dries down the gourmand notes come through and soften everything. It’s cozy and sweet but it also has an uplifting brightness to it! Sweet, sugary vanilla milk with some florals and a touch of green. I always get tons of compliments whenever I wear this, it’s actually one of my most complimented perfumes. Its performance is great! This is perfection to me!!!

takema

This is a stunning perfume! I first smelled it (only from the cap) soon after it was released. I thought it was nice, but at the time I liked Princess from this line and purchased it. Some time later I happened to get a sample of Kissing from Sephora and once I put it on my skin I couldn't get it out of my mind. The milky vanilla sweetness was an easy and expected love for me, but it was how the green notes worked in this fragrance that transformed it into something special for me. I am generally very cautious of green notes because they go either very right or very wrong for me...especially in a more gourmand fragrance. But here it works so perfectly.

The performance on me was top notch. It lasts all day (12+ hours) on my skin and on clothes until they are washed. I can smell the cloud around me the majority of that time. Only in the last couple hours does it become a skin scent. The sillage is at a comfortable level. People nearby (arms reach or a little more) will likely notice , but not be overwhelmed by the fragrance. I don't find I need to overspray at all to get great performance. In fact you will likely choke yourself (and everyone else) out if you do. Light to moderate application is perfect.

My understanding is this line is discontinued in North America, but still available in some overseas markets. So it might show up occasionally on some discounters or ebay. I originally missed out on this one because I was waiting for the next Sephora sale to get it, and it was sold out locally and online.I was lucky enough to score a bottle from someone in a fragrance group. Some Sephoras also still have stock of this line so it's worth checking out in store. I have a personal rule to never pay more than retail, even for loved discontinued scents, so I wouldn't advocate for spending more than that for this scent. I do think the retail price is fair for this fragrance.

almondluver1

What a unique perfume! I've never smelled anything like this before and I LOVE IT 😍!!! Was super nervous about the green notes bc I'm not much of a green/floral lover (esp for this price 😬), but this perfume does it right! I definitely detect the lily of the valley and green notes, but somehow it just smells sooo yummy!! This perfume is really sweet, milky & lactonic; it's like a sugary sweet creamy green lily-of-the-valley vanilla latte or milkshake. SUPER gourmand somehow. Sometimes it gives off mature vibes but that doesn't bother me.

The performance is alright. It lasted an entire day on me. I'd say that this is more of a scent for you to enjoy for yourself (or for your partner to smell on you intimately 🥰) but most people probably wouldn't be able to smell it unless they're in your close bubble.

People who love sweets, gourmands, and lily of the valley would love this! 💚🌱🥛🍦

SailorV

Usually I don't like lily of the valley in perfume. This is the exception from the rule. It has a really prominent lily of the valley note, but unlike many other fragrances that showcase this flower it doesn't come across as screechy, sharp, dated or plasticy to me - it's just unbelievably creamy and lovely.
This is a very gourmand scent of sugared, almost caramelized milk with a charming retro-soapy edge from the lotv. It's like eating sweetened condensed milk in your freshly washed bathrobe after a long shower, wearing a thick white body cream. In the drydown I'm also reminded of coconut milk, so maybe there are some delicious Raffaello candies next to the condensed milk. This mix of sweet and clean might sound dissonant, but it really works and even feels quite luxurious. If scents had a color, this would be milky white.

As soon as I smelled my sample for the first time I knew I needed a bottle in my life. Luckily I was able to score one on eBay. I'm convinced that this line only got discontinued because the awkward long names didn't speak to a lot of people. Kissing, Princess and Adults (I just have to shorten these names) are all really nice blends of fresh/green and sweet aspects, but very different from each other. I have nothing quite like Kissing in my collection, it's really a special take on lotv and on the floral gourmand genre in general.

singlehandedbeauty

Whelp, I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones whose chemistry only projects lily of the valley. The opening is an overpowering super sweet white floral. That lasts about 20 minutes, after which, the lily of the valley note calms and is accompanied by a buttery accord. In the dry down, the butteriness dissipates, still not getting any milk, not even a dash of cream, just a sweet, soft lily of the valley. I don't care for this at all on me. This is way too clean and floral—almost borderline plastic smelling—to be considered seductive, which makes the name of this fragrance incredibly confusing. If anything, it has the opposite effect because it reminds me of my lovely mother-in-law who only wears lily of the valley scents. Not blind-buy-safe.

ghkim

On me this is milk, sugar, and vanilla. My husband smells coconut. It is sweet and gourmand. The milk here is actual milk - not just the quality of creaminess, but a real milk smell. Performance is very good - I can smell it even while wearing a mask. Pleasantly surprised by this one. It satisfies a sweet gourmand craving but in a refined way.

clairesque

Welp. I did it. I got a decant, I love it, and it's discontinued. Curses.

The opening is a bit sharp and medicinal, but it doesn't last long. The dry down is incredible and so unique, I still find it hard to describe. Lactonic and sweet but not cloying at all - the lily of the valley brightens and uplifts the fragrance in such a delicate way.

clairesque

Impression from a paper strip: This scent is really unique. I literally don't know what to compare it to. It's just... green and milky, with a hint of sweetness. Kind of like an iced matcha latte. I'd love to try this on skin but then again, seems like it's getting discontinued so I don't want to risk falling in love with it!

violetx28

Selling an unopened box with a 100ml bottle.

Bought it for €130 selling it for €95, shipping preferably in Europe (I’m located in the Netherlands)

FragranceSnob

I got this as a free sample from a purchase on a unisex fragrance. Being a guy maybe my opinion on this fragrance is less valid but I wanted to give my input. I sometimes wear women’s fragrances if they smell unisex.
It smells nice, but I don’t smell the notes they say are in it. Some people said it smelled floral and green but all I smell is vanilla. It has a very powdery dry down on my skin and then smells like vanilla and incense. It has this smokiness on my skin that makes me think of incense. It’s nice, it smells very familiar but I can’t place it.

GabrielleeeeeW

Oh no, I like this one too much which I'm upset about considering it's getting hard to find! I hate Lily of the Valley as a note and have never appreciated a perfume with it but this is the exception. I don't like green notes in general but I don't get that too much in this fragrance, to me it's all about the lactonic sweetness. It's not too sugary, I find it well balanced with the milk. It's absolutely delicious and projects so well. I find it to be a very versatile perfume and would work all year round. I need it!

monokeros

LOVE LOVE LOVE 😍
I love this perfume so much!! It is delicious🥰
I didn't expect to LOVE it so much!
(so many bad reviews for this perfume, really?? Why?? Thank God I watched so many good reviews in YouTube and thankfully I blind bought it!)
Is it sweet yes but not sickly sweet, I think because of the bergamont!
So so different from all the perfumes out there! If you want to smell different and not like everyone you should really try this! That sugary milk mixed so good with Lilly of the valley and gives me a coconaty vibe!
Gorgeous💗
Congrats Killian 👏

nikath

I love a sweet scent and I think Kilian does them well, and I expected to enjoy this looking at the notes. This smells very green and soapy on my skin with a hint of sweetness underneath, and not at all juvenile as you might expect from the name. I would definitely recommend testing this before purchasing, it smells like a clean, green, soapy and slightly sweet mature white floral on me, not gourmand at all as some describe it.

bovogie

I do get chocolate from this, but it’s a spiced milk chocolate surrounded by white florals. It has a certain resemblance to Psychedelic Love by Initio but not as smooth. They are completely different from each other but they both turned a crisp & dominating white floral into a dirty edible one without losing its cleanliness.

It’s not a mainstream fragrance, it’s more niche. Which why I’m confused as to why Kilian collaborated with Sephora on this line. These are more complicated scents to grasp (with the exception of princess & boys). Adults, Sunset & Kissing will take you on a journey from the top to the mid into the base notes. It’s an experience.

This smells like sweet-ish incense. And so to me, that makes it more suitable for a masculine scent.
I don't like any sort of incense as I feel that it kills oxygen and makes it hard to breathe (to me anyway).
It can smell a soapy caramel in the far distance, but the incense is just drowning and overpowering any other note.
I'm not a fan of this 'Kissing', but it is better than 'Adults'.
Adults to me, smells just like Tom Ford's Santal Blush.
No bueno.

RainbowGirl

I love sweet perfumes, and after Kilian Princess, I was super excited to try Kilian Kissing. I love love love Kilian Princess. If I could smell like one scent forever, it would be that perfume.

The opening of Kilian Kissing on a card made me smile, and I let it sit and settle a little before going back to it. When I did, I noticed it smelled a lot like Coca Cola...which was weird, but fun. The whole room smelled like Coca Cola...and Lily of the Valley, but it almost smelled a little bit like tuberose, because of the sugar.

I was folding my laundry and that smell of Soda Tuberose was overwhelming and... strange. Still, I did not want to give up on this fragrance. I sprayed it on my arm, where it warmed up to be a super strong Coca Cola Sugar Tuberose that made me feel a little nauseous. Like wearing My Way while standing over a boiling vat of thick Coca Cola Syrup.

And now I know that sweet doesn't always mean good. I scrubbed it off, and returned it. Totally disappointed.

mystike23

I don’t know what happened today, just the the other day I was smelling marshmallows and now I smell aquolina pink sugar but more intense, burnt sugar, I don’t know what happened with my skin chemistry, and it's sad because I really loved it the first time. I’ll give it a week and see what happens.

tempbee123

This perfume balances florals and chocolate (I know the note is vanilla but I swear it smells chocolate-y) really well. It's not identical but it is in the same vein as the Angel Muse dry down-- meaning no patchouli smell.

Am I the only one that’s getting an old school Avon Skin so soft type smell?

diddilybop

ok, so let me start off by saying that 90% of the time, lily-of-the-valley and i do not get along. the combination of this soapy floral and my skin chemistry tends to get either really screechy or it turns into bathroom cleaner...that's old and dusty...and in the bathroom of a beer-soaked frat house. sorry, it's seriously the scent visual i get! maybe i spent too much time at frat houses during my college days (forgive me, please lol).

ANYWAY 🙃 ...kissing is a delicious gourmand with florals & green notes to keep things from going too tooth-achingly sweet or screechy sour. it's milky like melted ice cream, it's fresh & citrusy with the bergamot, and it's wonderfully sweet & tangy with my dear old frenemy...lily-of-the-valley - a rare moment where we get along like peas and carrots - don't worry, you'll smell better than peas and carrots with this fragrance!

on me, kissing smells like a fun date with your loved one at a carnival on a breezy yet warm evening in the springtime. you're sharing a funnel cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, while watching the ferris wheel spin along with it's bright lights.

kbgirl19

The opening, I guess due to the bergamot and lily of the valley, is very sour and comes off chemically smelling to me. Like toilet cleaner, not a fan. If you are able to get through that to the dry down, it settles into a much more sweet and lactonic concoction, the florals are still there but in the air it’s beautiful while still remaining interesting. Up close, like nose to skin, it is still a little out there for me with the sourness that the florals leave. For me it’s just not worth waiting until the opening is gone, but for those that like it I am sure it’s well worth the wait.

Pacifica_

I honestly really like it. Not sure if it’s because I’m the target audience (23F) but something about this perfume is doing it for me. I definitely get the vanilla milkshake vibe. Lilly of the valley is only there for a little bit on the opening. The dry down is very vanilla milkshake with a little bit of a green note and some coconut in there. Has that signature Kilian “sourness” (I find it more like woodiness, but people call it “sour”) too. It’s super simple but some of my favorite perfumes are very simple, ie Initio High Frequency. I am on the fence about buying a full bottle though tbh.

Projection is good to my nose, not sure about sillage as I am wearing this to bed. Will update on longevity, but I’m sure it’ll be beast mode (in terms of longevity) on me because my skin and Kilian perfumes deeply love each other for some reason.

ETA: smelled it around me at 6 AM after application at 12 AM. It was still on me as a skin scent at 10 AM when I actually woke up. Great longevity.

MahaS

Interesting to read the other reviews. I just get Lilly of the Valley, that's it! I don't like it . I don't get anything milky just something heavily herbaceous. I am not sure where the milkshake situation is coming from.

poppyetpear

I'm with a lot of other posters...I'm getting all lily of the valley and it smells like spray cleaner or a church garden. I don't like this.

craftymaya

Very interesting composition, and I love it! How come I never came across this one before? Probably, because usually Kilian's perfumes do not work on me. But this one intrigued me, and I really enjoy it. The Lily of the valley always gives a "clean" feeling to a perfume and this is the case here too, but with the "vanilla milkshake" feel I get from the milk and vanilla, the result is interesting, unique and lovely. Very comforting scent. Blind buy that went so well! Looks like, now, I have to try the Princess!

jenice

I was most excited to try this fragrance because of the sugar, milk and vanilla base note and my favorite perfume is Princess but unfortunately Kissing is my least favorite . It smells like a cat urine on a hot/humid day. What I also got was a creamy/semi sweet/greenish note but I cannot get over that urine smell.

SprayLove

This fragrance is very beautiful. I mostly wear it when going to sleep because it is soothing. It smells like Lily of the Valley and milk. It is very strong and nauseating when applied too much but it is perfect when applied in moderation. It is candy sweet too. Very original, unique and interesting. The whole line is very interesting, do check it out.

thazinha30

Am testing the “my kind of love” perfume range and this is not terrible but the milky burnt sugar ends up smelling like butter popcorn on my skin. Don’t hate it but the milky vanilla sugar is too much for me in the opening and the dry down just smells like pop corn with a hint of vanilla.
Neeext!
PS: Out of all the perfumes in that collection I love Princess the most! Adults is too figgy but will try it on my skin rather than the paper strip.

nordhaul

I guess this is The weak “ teenager “ line
of Kilian. I hate to insult teenagers. It is
like old people hate their young selves /
envy The beauty & youth of teenagers &
I’d hate to be among that old folk crowd.
Not that I’m old. Elder. lol. Anyway yes
it may be for teenagers. The names, The
nonexistent sillage, The no projection. &
I’ll just say that they deserve better. 🌹✨

myjebo2012

I bought a sample and it smells like a caramel or praline gourmandy. I wore this sometimes when I want to walk out on the strip of Las Vegas at night.

PerfumeJunkie2b

Not sure if I’m the only one who thinks so but this smells very similar to Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille to me. So much so that I don’t think it’s necessary to own both. Kissing is sweeter on me so for that reason I prefer it, and I feel that it will probably be easier to digest than Un Bois for most (don’t get me wrong, I love Un Bois but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea). This smells like sweet, toasted, almost burnt vanilla with a milky creaminess & a slight green/floral aspect in the background to me. There’s also a bit of powderiness (reminds me of the scent of an adult body powder lol or even the “waxy” scent in Un Bois). Oh, and it’s a BEAST on me. Made the mistake of spraying heavily (as I usually do), and it seemed to intensify during the wear (almost caused a headache) so I’d recommend treading lightly on the sprayer, which is saying a lot coming from me, lol. I had Un Bois on my list to pick up as well since I loved it when I tested it, but this has filled that void. I love it!

Imagine. You, a gigantic human-sized White Rabbit milky candy, are making a TikTok in a meadow. Fleetwood Mac plays and the wide camera angle catches you with head tilted back, carefree and full of dreams, wanting your freedom, or not holding anyone down, whatever. Haters may say you are basic, cheap even, and your layers are difficult to peel off, but they still grab a bag or two every time they visit the supermarket. You are a guilty pleasure, but also surprisingly familiar and safe, because screw kissing, it is a fact of life that whoever manages to unwrap a single White Rabbit has already burned off more calories than there are in the whole bag. You melt on the tongue and stick to the teeth a little bit. But you are delicious. And the memory of you lingers like the faint ringing of ghost bells on a fresh green stem of Lily of the Valley. Until it dissipates into the exact same imprint as Princess by Kilian, but no one needs to know that now. Tonight the rain washes you clean.

First, I too find the names of this line obnoxious and silly, but I tried a couple (Princess and Kissing) and I actually enjoy them. And I'm well well beyond my twenties.

I don't really get milk in this? I dislike actual milk and don't associate creaminess with milk either, but I suppose that's what it's getting at here, a bit of creaminess? I almost didn't get the perfume because of that note, I'm glad I ignored it.

I don't know what a Lily-of-the-Valley smells like but when first sprayed, within a few minutes, I was transported on a sweet fizzy fairy tale! It reminds me of fizzy cola but with a touch of freshness. After about half an hour to an hour, this starts to fade and a marshmallowy softness emerges and mingles with it, but it still remains relatively fresh throughout, it never gets powdery or cloying.

Several hours later, a haze of sugar remains with you for another while, with the cola still present but well into the background. I sprayed it on in the afternoon and I could still pick up the sugar sweetness the next morning.

I do love more complex fragrances that have more depth and punch, but I can appreciate that both Kissing and Princess are pleasant, never overwhelming, and do not have any aggressive notes. It's carefree, fun, and enjoyable.

This is Pop Art- The Fragrance. It smells great....but not at all unique. We have tasted this with Dolce Garden (the best in my opinion) Prada Candy, Ariana Grand Sweet Like Candy and Katy Perry Purr. All with similar accords- milky, sweet with floral notes. The series of pop gourmand scents Killian is marketing is targeting younger consumers, mainly females in their early 20's. The presentation of the bottle is very nice, but if you would purchase the other ones in this series they all look alike. Juliette Has a Gun's bottles are all the same but a different color. At least you know what you are grabbing before going out. Its a wrist bender. It has good longevity with very little projection. Which is a nice thing with this kind of scent. Its a scent for getting your romance on.

Jacqueline7nt

A strong green urine scent to begin with then dries down to a warm, sugary, citrus milk. The milk and citrus combo does not work well at all IMO and is rather sickly. Imagine lime (Nesquik) milkshake...You can't can you?! If you can and that sounds lovely, then you will love this!
It lasts a good 8 hours on my skin (tested overnight) and did project a little.
A disappointing blind buy for me. I would definitely recommend testing it first.
Princess is a much better alternative IMO and that also has a cosy drink smell to it.

vlarya

Lana Del Rey's Lolita.

Funny girl first date scent.

The cheesy name is perfect.

Sexy baby powder with all the bad implications it comes with.

Condensed milk, melted bourbon vanilla ice cream, with a touch of green to make it perfect for a summer evening at Coney Island.

I love it.

ScentedSoul

If you've ever wanted to smell magically delicious, this is the gourmand scent for you!

Kissing Burns 6.4 Calories A Minute. Wanna Work Out? By Kilian is a dessert in a bottle. It reminds me of a bowl of ice cream on a hot summer day. The milk, vanilla, and sugar notes intertwine into a sweet and creamy vanilla ice cream. The remaining notes give this treat an unexpected fresh twist and is what brings this scent into the "love" category for me.

This fragrance is definitely best for the cooler months as it is warm and enveloping. However there is a freshness to the warmth of this scent brought by the lime that is quite lovely. Be careful with the trigger on this one because it can go wrong very quickly if you spray too much. Sillage is moderate and the longevity is long lasting. It is just a joy to wear.

katsong

Wow I love all of these notes, and I have never smelled them before in a single fragrance. I think without the Lily of the Valley, it smells like a Lush product, it's similar to Rockstar soap. Something VERY sweet.

I enjoy the opening of this fragrance where you can smell the freshly cut flowers, and the marshmellow-like sweetness at the same time, but I don't like the dry down where it resorts to smelling like a LUSH bath product.

Malleable

Oh dear. I'm not liking this combination of notes at all. Something about it makes me very nauseous.

Cocolisa

I am in love with this perfume. Sweet vanilla and powerful lily of the valley married beautifully on my skin. This is a lovely and very yummy fall and winter scent to enjoy applied onto your warm knit or worn with a sexy little dress. It works both ways. The scent lasts the whole day and collects compliments even on me who rarely receives any on my fragrance. I'm not a big fan of the bottle design but it's innovative I guess. And btw I can't stand milk and I don't think this smells anything like milk as in the stuff some people like to drink. It does have a creamy feeling to it though, but that to me is the combination of the lily of the valley and vanilla. Beautifully made.

brumbarche

It is a great find for me. Luckily, in my country lactionic notes weren't popular throughout the generations, unlike chypre in the winters, green grass notes in spring, soapy citruses for the summer, while florals were considered mostly old-fashioned. This leaves me with no negative associations with regards to Kissing by Kilian, and makes it a blast for me. It gets me on a fluffy cloud ride. I've been testing zadig & volter's this is her, the phantom and other contemporary lactonic concoctions and I seem to perceive there the lactones as screechy and cold plasticy babydoll notes that kill it for me. But here ... it's a creamy warm frothy milk, with less synthetic feel to it. The lilly of the valley adds this special feminine vibe that cools it down a bit, without being boring or soapy or messing with the sweetness. After sampling it in the air conditioned mall I didn't think much of it, until I got into my car the next day. It was hot and upon opening the door I could immediately smell it from my jean jacket that I had left there. In the heat in that small space, driving around I got to know it and fell in love with it. My husband joined the ride on the way back home and said "you smell so sexy, what's the occasion". Maybe it's the younger buyers that this fragrance targets, but it seems to please broader audience. When I mentioned that it was my jacket that smelt since the yesterday's sampling, he said that It made him think of warm and velvety to the touch skin and assumed that my skin emitted the scent. I liked that and now every time I wear Kissing it makes me feel cozy, sexy, feminine and as if my skin is soft and divine. The silage and longevity are obviously good. Ever since I bought a bottle I use it often mostly on weekend nights out and very lightly when I'll be out with friends shopping or meeting over a coffee. It's a strong scent, yet nobody found it offensive yet. I have plenty in my collection for the times when I want to feel polished or quiet. This one charges me positively. It's sensual, but bright, like a cream wedding cake in a sunny garden full of gentle flowers.

eaudesommelier

Opens with a cool, clean white floral note and for a few minutes I thought my search for an expansive, lifted but opulent and creamy white floral perfume that does NOT smell like my mother's Lancome Tresor was at an end.

On my skin it quickly transitioned to a bit of a cotton candy vibe playing with the floral. The lactic note emerged soon after this and I hate to say that - for me at least, spritzing before a walk in the hot summer NYC air, the whole thing quickly deflated into a super two-dimensional story of insipid, lukewarm milk/white-flower-fading-to-wet-cardboard, with an occasional punch of the sort of vanilla you'd expect from a cheap bathroom potpourri spray.

I NEED a creamy floral in my life but the lactic thing happening with this is a ghost of what it should be. No vivacity. Dead.

The search continues!!

Edited to include: wore this a second time while mostly inside (still muggy and hot). On dry down, instead of wet cardboard and cheap vanilla, I got a much more pleasant whiff of snickerdoodles and graham crackers!

Nice surprise but this is still a pass for me. Also not sure how ironic this whole concept is supposed to be... the irony feels more like a safety net for not quite pulling the whole thing off, tbh. Maybe not a bad strategy for a house's mid-market line but still...

Sevenbirds

Just after I sprayed my Sephora sample, my son (18) walked by and said,
“You smell just like abuelita” His grandmother wears one scent only:
Ester Lauder White Linen.
Now that he said it, I can’t stop smelling the White Linen connotation.
Maybe it’s the Lily of the Valley?
In any case, I only realized by reading the comments that By Kilian is an Estée Lauder
brand! My son has a Nose!

atarilynx

Not awful...I guess the kissing workout takes place over or after a shared vanilla milkshake.

Like the other Kilian releases for Sephora, seems to be aimed at a teenage to twenty-something audience.

Swedelish

I received a sample of this. Having never been on my radar I'm quite pleased. KISSING reminds me very much of Mugler Dis Moi. Instead of lily of the valley and milk, Dis Moi is lily and milk. Both extremely similar to my nose with green nuances and a sweet, milky base. KISSING is only slightly more complex and softer. I would love to smell like this during spring when the sun starts to get warm in the afternoon. I feel like the cool, green florals over this milky base would intensify beautifully on sun-warmed skin. Sillage is pretty good right now where it's 30 degrees, but I can tell it wants to bloom even more. Longevity is average on me.

lmwimsatt

This name is literally 2 sentences long lol. But I love the perfume! I saw the notes and knew I'd love it and I wasnt disappointed. Its a nice muguet smell with powdery undertones. I'm going to have to disagree with other reviewers that this is gourmand. I hated princess from this line, but this smells more like the kilian I know and love. Kilian makes the perfumes that I otherwise obtain through layering. (I'm pretty sure ive layered apogee with fresh cream) They are certainly a cutting edge brand.

Gourmandlover

To me this starts off with a huge blast of milky powdered sugar. After that I think I can smell the green notes and lily of the valley too. The strong sugar note goes a little to the background which gives me the powdery sugar and green notes for the rest of the time. I really like it as super sweet gourmand scents are my favourite. Moderate sillage, although the beginning is pretty strong I think. Longevity is also moderate on me.

jeffwithfrags

I'll always have a soft spot for Kilian just only if for the ridiculously great Apple Brandy. So I wanted to like this, maybe, I want every Kilian I try to be great but sadly so far apart from STHE they've all fallen short and this one was no exception.

Run of the mill, soft smooth lotion / creamy rose scent. Hint of sweetness in the starting phase too but nothing edgy or eye-opening; this is just a bit too boring, meh and , lotiony.

Feminine but there's a million things better they can do; not least a million better unisex scents out there; the other 'Kisses' scent by this very own brand for one has a more prominent rose note, so more character. More than Words does the poetic job for the men's side and is a much much better scent too, just for this occasion too

5/10

Superdope

Reminds me a little of Lipstick Rose.. Just for a little while though, only while its drying down. It then it turns into something else, something I cant quite put my finger on. I like it though but I like Lipstick Rose better. When this dries down it stays really, really close to the skin.. you hardly smell anything. I'll try it on my clothes the next time I wear it. As the Sephora sales associates rave about it, I only give it a 2.

Jest

Smells like cinnamon to me.

Blueangel51

Tried this perfume yesterday and really enjoyed it. It is definitely a heavier winter scent. Very sultry and sweet. Reminds me of Givenchy Extravagant but with a bit more sweet floral. I like this better and like the fact that I can get it in a small purse spray size. I really don’t care for the bottle design. I like more elegant bottles, but I will definitely try this one out. I don’t think it is as strong as Kilian’s primary line, but it lasted all day for me. Good job Kilian!

genny17

I got a purse spray and I am really liking this perfume a lot ! It is a soft gourmand, more creamy than sweet, and there is a floral undertone that keeps it fresh, and not über sweet and simplistic like Flowerbomb...it leaves a warm trail of coconut flower...this is more complex, it has projection, after one spray, I can say it warms up and opens up very nicely...this isn't a skin scent in my opinion, but it is cozy, enveloping..I can see myself enjoying it in winter..now the floral notes are definitely in the background, still, it is delicatly sweet, nothing in your face...if I see it in the US maybe I will buy a 30 ml..I would enjoy wearing it in cooler weather...lovely...outside of the silly name, there is lots to like about that creation.
Update: I won't get a bottle, it has qualities, but sonething is missing to my nose ..will revisit in winter

smellavision

Erm... isn't it called "Kissing Burns 6.4 Calories A Minute. Wanna Work Out?".. or is there something wrong with the pic ??
