A.J.lamp

A straight-up coconuty, waxy, yellow flower, and cream scent.

swedishmilk15

This smells like Stoked by Bethany Hamilton. Please check out her line of perfumes if you love beachy tropical scents. (Affordable!) I first came across Stoked in 2007 when I was a manager at Claire's Boutique. Both scents are a perfect coconut floral.

Coriemulvey

It smells like a fresh porta potty that has not been used yet.

cumballssemen

I NEED to put you all on. This is perhaps the most heavenly summer scent. It smells like the feeling of running down the sand towards the beach. It smells like the ocean, not like fish or anything but just like salt, like eating ice cream on the boardwalk with salty ocean hair as a cool breeze goes by. Smelling it makes me excited for vacation and I have like 3 bottles. The lotion is angelic and I'm creaming I love this scent so much please trust!!

bloomdoom

This smells almost identical to Ouai's St. Bart fragrance, which doesn't have coconut in the scent notes, but to me is a coconut scent. The scent is in body care but hasn't come out as a perfume yet, so I've been layering At The Beach with the body wash from Ouai and it smells SO good. It's perfect for the summer!

LisaJane97

I don’t like it unfortunately. I love coconut/beach scents and have quite some, like Waikiki Beach Coconut from BBW and others, but this has an undertone to me that I really don’t like. It still kind of does smell like a beach, but in a not so good way. There are other mists that have that WOW-effect and smell amazing. This is not it. Fortunately I have a travel size and will probably sell it, or layer it. I don’t recommend.

MyScentBubble

Perfume somehow better than the mist, even though it smells identical. Idk.. somethings different though. Should have kept my perfume version

yukikiki

Refreshing (not heavy) coconut dessert by the beach where you smell some of the clean ocean salt water.

Surprisingly I don't get sun block from this. I think the "toasted" part makes it lean more edible, which I enjoy. Alien Goddess reminds me more of sun block tbh.

I usually have a hard time with coconut in mist/edp forms but love them in shampoos, lotions, etc. This one I like.

szeon

This is one of my favorite scents from B&BW. I use it every single day as my "at-home" scent since it is a body mist. Immediately, you will smell the coconut, vanilla, and summery feel of this perfume. Of course, since it's a body mist, it doesn't last very long, even though the smell is very strong when you first put it on. However, it is extremely refreshing, fun, and a very safe and fun choice if you want to feel like you're about to go out on a hot day! I love the smell of sunscreen, but personally, that isn't there for me, which is also okay.

Shimmer412

One of my all time favorites from B&BW! It’s a lovely, soft, toasted coconut scent with vanilla and solar floral notes! A really beautiful and refreshing beachy fragrance. It’s also not one of those coconut fragrances that has a sun tan lotion like scent.

I own the fragrance, body scrub, body wash, body lotion, and sea salt hair mist! I love pairing it with some of my other beachy favorites like Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Replica Beachwalk, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, and JHAG Lust for Sun! It’s soft enough to not overpower them, but it also pairs really nicely with them!

achelikeiache

Salty coconut and frangipani... so everything I love in a body spray. Doesn't have a suntan lotion vibe, even though the notes suggest it. One of the better ones from Bath&Body Works.

Bait_for_theCenturey

It smells really good and it's perfect for the summer time. But if you spray to much it starts to smell like a strong exerted celery. Once it goes on the dry down it smells like coconut but its not noticeable.

Chellebelle4u

I got at the beach in body wash. Body wash wise i needed somrthing beachy to go with other scents. Mist wise its not strong at all and i actually prefer vs bare vanilla splash. I plan to layer it with bare vanilla splash lotion and mist and bombshell isle perfume. That combo should smell great for summer.

Peaches&Cream

Perfect for the hot summer days. It honestly reminds me of being at the beach. I sprayed this on my body and clothes 6 hours ago and I can still smell it lingering on me. I will forever repurchase only if it is not reformulated.

poodleParty

I usually don't like body sprays, but this one is actually ok! I wanted something super light for hot/humid days. It lasts 1-2 hrs max, but it does the job.

The scent is nothing special -- there are so many "beachy" scents with salt nowadays, but it's pleasant and summary. And that's all I'm looking for, really. I would consider buying it again.

goodsniffs

This smells exactly like the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration shampoo/conditioner line. This body spray doesn't last long at all. I'll use it up, but I won't be repurchasing.

VeryVee

I love it! This smells exactly like Eau de Soleil Blanc on my skin. Less projection and it doesn’t last, but at this price you can bathe in it!

Tessbes

Salty suntan lotion with some coconutty/holiday vibes. I LOVE it for the pool, beach, vacay..

Fatima1219

I wore this fragrance on Saturday--simply because I was having beach fever. It served its purpose, as I did chores. It smells nice and is a beachy scent with salty air, coconut, and flowers steadily tickling your nose. I will be wearing At the Beach, at the beach, when the time comes. I recommend this fragrance for light-hearted ladies who like to enjoy the sun, and smell great while doing it. My absolute favorite scent to wear to the beach is B&BWs': In the Sun. A fruity, white floral body mist that truly captures your senses-- and does not let them go! A True Masterpiece! Also, Jennifer Aniston's Beachscape is a great example of a beach in a bottle. In my opinion, At the Beach is not a safe blind buy, but it is great for the lady who loves the beach and likes layering fragrances. I recommend layering this with B&BWs' Coconut Copper Sands--Very Nice!

Nanook2020

Too much salt :S i didnt expect this. Its not a suntan lotion smell, bc to me a suntan lotion smell is sweet and creamy tropical coconut, but its not tropical and not creamy. Its 70% salt and 30% coconut.

VMonster

This is the kind of scent you either get or you don’t, based on the reviews here. It’s exactly what it’s being sold as: a beachy scent. It’s salty, coconutty, tropical-floral suntan lotion. The bergamot lends some brightness. It’s beautiful. Gauzy and translucent - this one isn’t strong; it’s a sea breeze of a scent. Perfect for summertime or whenever you find yourself craving that beachy vibe. I like that this is offered year round.
It also works well with both coconut and light aquatic scents. Tonight I have it on with Bombshell Isle from VS, but I also think it would be great with Davidoff Cool Woman WAVE for her which is a salty frangipani aquatic.

I have both the body cream and the body mist and layered together gives an optimized experience but it’s still a softer scent. So while some seem to dislike this, I find it wholly likeable and doubt that it would be offensive to passersby. They would probably just think you came from the beach!

abreezeofzeppy

I can’t hate this more. This smells like the cheapest, where you can find everywhere scent. Believe me, if I learned at least something from my background of 16+ years of strong perfume enthusiasm, this has nothing special. I blind bought this being tricked by all the comments but no. A huge no. I can’t stand the cheapness. Maybe if you gift this to a 4 y.o she would be happy but only because that would be her first fragrance or so. Lol. Stay away from this.

Nami0

This scent is different, it has Coconut but it’s not your typical Coconut. It’s a bit sweet but more on the fresh side, and the frangipani make s it special and unique, amd a bit of saltynes wich makes it really beachy. Too bad it lasts Maybe 2 hours , 3-4 if you count the fact that you can only smell it if you glue your nose to the part that has been sprayed

mwai

please DO NOT BUY THIS BLINDLY. i really like coconut scents but this one is too heavy and disgusting :(

Rachealluna87

I think it would be a great bubble bath to relax in I hate coconut scents but I can tolerate this one

ingrid.superstar

I used to be more of a purist about layering, meaning, "totally against it." But our modern world is so scented that it's almost as if you're layering whatever you're wearing with everything around you sometimes...on the street, in a restaurant, among perfumed friends. May as well use yourself as the layering canvas, and intentionally. Here is my humble contribution to the endless list of layering combinations: BBW At the Beach body cream with Gucci Bloom. If you've ever wished that Bloom was a hint sweeter and/or beachier, and a little less like Pure Poison in its middle stage, At the Beach body cream is a perfectly mellow and solid base.

The body mist was so fleeting and wispy on me that I didn't have time to brainstorm, but the body cream lasts decently long.

baby_lotus

This is wonderful! Warm Beachy scent.
Love layering this with the frangipani floral scent Chanel Beige.

jaylaadams14

I personally am not a fan. To me all i can really smell is the salt and sun tan lotion. I can’t smell the coconut as much as everyone else. I guess it’s just not me for me. But, on other people it does smell okay to me.

LaLaLaLeila

I'm not super into coconut scents, but this one is decent for the summer or if you wanna just pretend you're on a tropical island or something during the winter lol. The scent is not particularly unique or exciting. Kind of feels like a nicer version of a drugstore Calgon body mist, but less synthetic feeling in comparison, if that makes sense (and less likely to give you a headache if you're sensitive to smells).

The scent comes off as less beachy (I don't detect any oceany scents or anything like that. Nothing that feels like a sea breeze) and more of a straightforward coconut scent.

Honestly, I feel like BBW has so many unique, interesting, complex scents these days that this one is just "okay" in comparison to a lot of others. I feel like it's missing something. It doesn't really feel like it has a personality of its own...feels too simplistic. I can't really say anything else bad about it except that the sillage and longevity are very, very weak.

It just sort of lacks the wow factor for me compared to other BBW scents I've had. It's definitely a pleasant enough scent, however.

I strongly consider this scent to be unisex.

Update: I think it's starting to grow on me a bit. When I first tried it on my skin a few weeks ago, I mostly disliked it. Now, I'm leaning a bit more toward liking it. But I think that maybe it's less about this fragrance and more that I'm starting to dislike the smell of coconut a bit less.

Update: I have to admit that the sillage is a LITTLE better than I initially realized. Not great, but still better than I thought. All I really smell is coconut, though. The other notes don't really seem to project for me?

nebula13

I gifted this to my sister since she loves the beach and she LOVED this! This is a very fun and interesting scent, it literally smells like the beach. It's a very soft fragrance, perfect for everyday wear, fresh. It doesn't last very long but my sister has gotten so many compliments! You'll definitely feel at the beach with this one.

gourmandgyaani

I had this for a long time and it just sat in the corner of my mists even though I liked it a lot
so it was pretty much brand new when I decided that this would be the scent I would take with me to my trip to The Maldives and use it extensively there so it becomes a strong memory thing and would bring back the trip to me
I do like this a lot - a nice, pleasant toasted coconut with a little bit of that sea salt - perfect for the occasion
garbage projection and garbage lasting and garbage performance though - I'm just going to use it up and later smell it for memory's sake. it doesn't even last half an hour, I kid you not.
pretty and inoffensive and very beach like as the name says but man, BBW really is a rip off. even for the money, this isn't worth it in terms of quality. come on bbw, you can definitely do better than this lmao.

Mahima22

Made me nauseous. Do not blind buy. Too much strong florals

solarpunk

a realistic coconut and sea salt! not sweet, but very beachy and summery. just a hint of frangipani. absolutely delicious and I'll definitely reach for this a lot this summer!! apply generously so you can smell it - it's rather weak.

update: this just goes away so quickly... the copper coconut sands lotion scent lasts longer. taking my rating down to 'like' because this just disappears

update 2: actually wore this for a full day and it lasted. Maybe it's a case of letting your fragrances settle for a few days before wearing? It's got great lasting power and sillage, but the scent is just a little boring, which is something I've never said before

Amelie999

Sometimes I smell lovely coconut with frangipani..fresh coconut and something warm, maybe a little “air freshenery” like something you might sprinkle on your carpets and then vacuum up but it’s pleasant enough. Other times I swear it smells like a brand new portapotty…

I’ve recently been really into coconut scents, when I didn’t care for them at all before, but this one is too hit or miss for me. Definitely at the bottom of the coconut pile.

CatOwned

This one is weak, but a nice smell anyway. I have the body cream. I can sense the floral and coconut in this. This one isn't a sweet coconut smell and smells good, just nothing particularly unique or that stands out about this one imo.

Sorry_babyx

Forgot i had this in my stash, pulled it out today
I love warm and toasty buttery coconut scents but this one gives more of a pina colada vibe and i smell a lot of pineapple
It’s very similar to one of Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku perfumes but less lactonic
Wouldn’t even be worth a review except what’s mind blowing about this is its longevity and throw
One spray and it formed a bubble of it all around me and stayed on me forever
And im not weak nosed if anything im obnoxious with my overspraying and probably the only person who though Lush’s Let The Good Times Roll is weak so the fact that im so impressed by the power of this says something
I just really wish some of my other faves performed like this *cough* Vanilla Bean Noel *cough*
The bottle is pretty cute too

KatelynMLovesPerfume

I really like this one. It's simple to explain it smells like toasted coconut, hint of flower. and sunscreen. But I love it, great for the summer or after the shower

Hayleygerbil91

I don't like this one, it has far too much of a sickly, artificial, toasted coconut smell that makes me feel nauseous. Not for me.

chocfulofcandy

This is one of my current scents from Bath and Body Works. Honestly, I like it but it's not like something I'd go crazy for, ya know? It's a pleasant coconut scent without any extra oomph factor.

My sister bought the body spray for herself at first and she actually like this one but she eventually gave it to me. I still wear this layered with something else (usually Perfect Peony from the same brand) when I want to smell sweet without smelling vanilla-ish.

It smells heavy on the coconut and sweet like a coconut dessert (think Southeast Asian traditional cookies). Although I like this, my mom hates it due to her aversion of coconut scents. So, I'd layer this with something floral to balance out the coconut to make it smell nicer around her. To my suprise, it smells better than wearing it alone.

I don't smell anything beachy, despite its name. Not even a saltwater smell. It could've be named something that describes the coconut smell rather than the beachy vibes.

Overall it's a pretty scent, smells coconutty but doesn't feel beachy. I'd recommend to layer it with something more citrusy for more of the beachy vibe or floral to make it more feminine. Heck, I think something non-coconut gourmand scents would pair well with this!

l0stch3rry

Even though the salty note isn't the most prominent on the list, to me this is saltwater in a bottle... AND I LOVE IT. I wear this to campus i respray every couple hours, its gives me the sensation of beachy folly without all the crummy sand in between my toes! its cheap, peppy and young

mevans

If you like the Sol de Janeiro fragrances, particularly 39, this is quite similar. Also the newest Sugarful, the yellow Sunshine one, very similar suntan lotion-y, beachy, summery type vibes. I really like it. It's got the coconut, the gourmand notes, it's fresh and clean smelling. I use the shower gel, lotion and body spray for the best performance. If you wait for the semi-annual sales, it's under $15 for all three. It doesn't develop much, it's pretty linear but smells great. I also like the packaging on this one with the raised, sort of embossed gold glitter set against the turquoise. Very nice.

rosebudhoney

My girlfriend surprised me with this for a beach trip I went on with my family! It’s a nice, straightforward coconut floral. It works great as a layering spray for other beachy/tropical scents (I’m currently wearing it with Indian Coconut Nectar by Pacifica). It’s perfect for a beach day or if you just need a little bit of summer vacay nostalgia to cheer you up.

Caladhiel

This is straight up coconut car freshener to me. It has no depth and no character. I don't hate it. I still wear it at home from time to time since it's lying there on my desk.

Update: There's a hint of sweetness and I can barely detect a (yellow?) floral note. But overall, I'm not impressed. I'll try layering it to make it work.

Moonwalk Memorie

[review for the wallflower] On the first day, I thought my nose was off 'cause it smelled less "at the beach" and more "face stuffed into a chlorinated pool float". Days came and went, and my apt continued to smell bitter and almost like vinyl. Finally replaced it with Tiki Beach...

Sombra

I’ve blindly bought the version in a new package with glitter, as I was looking for a refreshing summer scent. To me it smells like bitter wild grass that was cut in a hot summer day before the rain. I also smell a lot of burnt coconut which is annoying in my opinion. I feel no sea salt at all.
If you like the smell of the grass and burnt coconut this might be for you. But to me it smelled too bitter, I do not associate the mentioned notes with the summer or a beach.
I gave it to my mom and surprisingly she liked it.
I would keep sticking to citrusy and aquatic summer scents instead.

rorymarais

if you enjoy smelling like warm sand and saltwater, this is for you.

Kaylovely

Dupe for Blanche Bete

velssmels

Its a sweet and salty ocean coconut scent but I feel like the frangipan makes it smell too much like a sunblock cream. It just smells a bit too heavy instead of a fresh ocean breeze

funkyfish710

This reassured that I do not like bbw's beachy coconut scents. Just like waikiki beach coconut and sunset glow smells too artificial for me

Orchids55

Wonderful summer beach scent ! Smells like suntan lotion but in a good way , especially because of the coconut

V3ronica

For summer i bought At the beach,
And Belize. At the firsts 5 minutes they are different from each other.
At the beach, i feel soft wood, fresh, some frangipani, no coconut, it reminds me of Bronze Goddess but very light, after 30 minutes is not there anymore, only if it touched clothes.
Belize, opens with a banana or pineapple with woods, something that reminds of banana marshmellows or pineapple juice, and 15 minutes after...it is the copy of the At the beach, a wood and fresh light fragrance that disapears after 30 minutes.
So...i tried to buy simillar body fragrance of B.U. vanilla frangipani, and surprisingly it shows on the bottle to contain a longer fixation on the skin, wich i confirm, altought a very very light fragrance is still there on my moves...6 hours later. No vanilla, only frangipani and light woods. B.U. is cheaper than BBW, i can say after my experience that it is better to buy a Hey Poa oil body and apply it on skin and hair, in spite of buy this summer fragrances.
I have other fragrances of BBW (no summer fragrances) bought recently, with the old label still made of paper...and it really smells like a Eau de Toilette, a good intensity. About Vitoria Secret body mists, i can say the fixation is equal to BBW, nothing special... only 2 or 3 has the same fixation of a Eau the Toilette. Very hard to find the good one!!

jorgeyellowbobby

This is a wonderful coconut fragrance! Definitely Unisex. It does smell like sunscreen for a bit but it does smell exactly like being at the beach! The frangipani with the coconut creates such a warm and delightful scent! Perfect to wear year round, especially in this hot California weather.

katagiri

i have no idea why the person below me is so mad over a bath and body works fragrance but this smells amazing!! its very soft which i love i don’t like super overpowering beachy smells so this is perfect. i like to pair it with escada’s miami blossom to make it last longer and omg it makes the perfect tropical summer smell

wondervalley666

Disgusting. Fake plastic coconut scented hair spray. Tried once and immediately threw out my bottle. Doesn’t project at all, disappears in 30 minutes, thank goodness because that hairspray alcohol base that all these BBW body sprays have really gives me the worst headache. Putting on suntan lotion will give you a better, stronger, and more realistic coconut scent. I don’t see the point in this product at all. Alcohol, water, maybe 5 drops of fragrance in the entire 8oz bottle. I thought I was sampling a dollar store fragrance. And I get no real coconut from this, it is that fake coconut that smells like burning plastic.

violet violin

This is one of those few scents that you can wear on even the steamiest and hot summer days.
In fact the steamier and hotter the better with this one. This is a tropical beachy smell to me. This is a sunscreen scent, but I usually relate those scents to more of a northeastern beach as that is the type of beach I have grown up going to. But this is a tropical vacation scent… coconut and hot weather flowers. The heat just brings these things out to its fullest impact. It’s not a refreshing pick me up for a hot day, it’s more languid and sort of just complements the heat instead of trying to chase it away.
I really like it but I can only wear it on very specific occasions.

228

sweet & citrusy. first it smelled kind of like rain before i noticed those notes. i would wear it to the beach. i agree with the person who said it smells like dryer sheets, but i actually enjoy strong smelling dryer sheets.

walking bakery🥧🍰

If you’ve ever been to Bali (Indonesia), this smells just like the place. In Bali, you can find many beaches (the salty air), Kemboja flowers (frangipani)-the white flower with yellow tint at the center, as well as coconuts🥥. It truly just transports me to the time I was in Bali for vacation.

This doesn’t smell too sweet from the coconut as there is floral and salt here. I don’t smell the citrus (Bergamot) at all.

The name just implies it, this is the perfect scent for going to the beach and/or the pool. It’s strong too, I put it in the morning at 6.00 a.m and can still smell it on my clothes at 2 p.m in the afternoon. For a body mist, that’s as long as you can probably hope for😝

jreyes366

This is the ultimate sunscreen scent. The coconut and floral combo is just magical, it makes for a lovely fragrance. The coconut is toasted and not sweet. The bergamot is fleeting, and the salt note enhances everything! I wish they made this in an eau de parfum, but a girl can dream!

P.S this is the best coconut fragrance I have ever tried. No vanilla, no fruit. Just a beautiful coconut and floral composition. I can't get enough of this!

Update: I go through this scent really quickly. The fragrance is so addictive and warm, however, I wish it were stronger! This scent could be like 30% stronger. Just saying.

weirdhoney21

Was on the hunt for a cheapie beach scent and blind bought this. It smells like a banana pina colada and is too sugary sweet for me. I don't get any similarity to Eau de Soleil Blanc, Beach Walk or Sunkissed Hibiscus. Those are much more refined beachy scents and have a fresher quality to them.

ingeneuxo

-This isn't bad at all!
-Aquatic, fresh.
-Has light coconut notes in that ebb and flow from foreground to background.
-I can't imagine how this would offend even coconut-haters.
-Cheaper, lighter version of Coconut Fizz by Guerlain. (+)

*Update*
-Purchased a bottle for my collection.
-This is a great pick-me-up in the morning. For when you want to feel refreshed for a few hours before you shower and put on 'real' perfume.

weloveit

All I can say is this a great summer scent. me and my husband can't get enough of smelling each other when we wear it

Adelamgarceo

Great if you’re nuts about coconuts 🙂

Schomer1

I purchased this whole line during a Buy 3 get 2 free sale with a 20% off coupon, after purchasing the wallflower, which is the most high performing wallflower of the 2021 summer season, IMHO(my whole house smells like this fragrance!!!)

The lotion and body wash smells fresh and clean with just a hint of coconut and a splash of perfume mixed on top of the warm sun/sand baseline fragrance. Oddly, the wallflower smells more like one of those beachy boutiques that sells specialty soaps/candles made from sea salt/seaweed...at any rate, this is one of the better lines from BBW if for no other reason, it isn’t dipped in Guava, Mango, pumpkin, or heavy on the coconut. I can see why they keep it around!

Cor1ne

Can a smell transport you to the beach? The answer is 'yes' and this is one of them!
I bought the mist, cream and shower gel after a LONG time of telling myself I would and I do not regret that decision one bit.
Goes on as a fruity coconut and dries down into something just a bit saltier, it has a 'warm' quality to it even when I sit in my air-conditioned house. I may be more a fan of fall scents but this is my go-to for the summer.

Amir bahar

This scent is fabulous! I can smell the toasted coconut, salty note, a lil bit of frangipani flower., it’s just perfect beachy scent to wear in a hot summer day. I feel like a bronze goddess when I wear this.

Layered with my Palmers coconut monoi body oil and my beautiful fragrance Terracotta le Parfum by Guerlain makes it even more intoxicating and I do receive compliments. The longevity quiet good for a body mist and the sillage is also pretty good as well.

strawberryswitchblade

Salty sea air, frangipani and coconut - the perfect beach scent. For a body spray it actually has some decent staying power and also projects surprisingly well. I live in a year round hot climate by the ocean and wear this stuff all the time. Smells amazing when layered with Yves Rocher Monoï de Tahiti body oil

dlilla

I can't help it, this smells like dryer sheets when I first spray it. Granted, they would be fantastic, high quality dryer sheets though, better than average. Then the coconut peeks through and it feels like you are putting on freshly washed clothes that you line-dried in the tropical breeze, surrounded by sun, sand and coconut trees. I love it.

aldinatic

this reminds me of armani-sun di gioia, light creamy smell with frangipani, bergamot and a salt note :) for summer only.

LaMiaRosa

It does what you would expect it to do. This one was a blind buy for me based on the notes and I was not disappointed! I can't stand most B&B fragrances but this one is just right. It's light, salty and a little creamy. Just like a day at the beach. I live in a super hot, humid climate so I spray this on a lot if I'm going out for a walk or to run some errands. I imagine this would be amazing if you actually sprayed this on at the beach. I'll have to try it one time! Someone below likened this to Womanity by Mugler and I would agree in terms on the saltiness, however Womanity is more complex and has an added metallic, fishy note that I'm not fond of. This one is just right for eliciting beach vibes on a hot summer day.

ariqmq

This is simply a day at the beach smelling the besttttt.

bungacr

This body mist is so delicious! smells like a good day at the beach, watery and cheerful. I wear it everyday, to school, at home, to sleep, or to go anywhere but i dont want to spritz my expensive fragrance. Just bath my self in it, it makes me feel so happy sniffing my self.

kkaattjjeess

Let me start with the bottle, I think it looks stunning, I like the sharp edges of it and the combination of the light blue with the bronzy cap.

The juice itself is good, I live in Scotland so honestly this scent does not belong here and it feels bizarre wearing it, I'd wear it more if I stayed in Cyprus or Southern France for example.

It's a yummy beachy scent, coconutty, there's sunscreen vibes and saltiness. On me there's also a bit of a playdough scent happening but I don't mind it. Longevity is quite good for a body mist.

Science&Scents

Yes, at the pool indeed (see below). Haha

Wonderful for those super hot days. The toasted coconut and salt is delicious. I got that chlorine hit that others have gotten as well but it's not overly prominent, nor does it stick around. Mostly coconut, frangipani and salt--the lime brightens it up nicely.

Pretty short lived but I don't mind respraying to cool off.

tredecim

This is a great summer scent. When I'm not on vacation but want to feel like I am, I wear this. Great stuff. I consider this unisex thankfully.

Swedelish

What a great little summery/suntan coconut scent. I have the perfume and body butter, which smells impeccable on its own. But paired with the perfume it's even better. It's perfect for what it is, and lasts pretty well on a hot day. Smells like sandy beaches, salty skin and coconut. The perfume is nicer than the body spray, so I suggest it if you can still find it. If they haven't already, they should make ATB a returning summer scent because it is one of their best ever.

Mctmes

My go-to summer scent. It's creamy, it smells like suntan oil, it has good longevity. It's really nice after you've showered off the sweat of a summer day and you're ready to relax in PJs.

peonies and musk

Smells equally of coconut and salt with just a dash of floral. Has a chlorine vibe too, which I love. Reminds me of how my skin smells after getting out of a chlorinated pool and laying out in the sun for a while with whatever coconutty sunscreen or oil I'm using. A good second skin scent in my opinion, but might be more appropriately dubbed "At The Pool".

Atomikbomb_

Such a sweet, soft, toasty musky scent! It has a kind of casual, effortlessly interesting feel to it with the sea salt musk. It actually seems to get *BETTER* when you're sweating (within reason), and it's a perfect scent for the gym or sports. The coconut is toasted without being too heavily sweet, and the frangipani isn't overwhelming. I love frangipani/plumeria, but it's not my favorite floral to wear in large amounts. This doesn't have much projection, but it does last about 4 hours (which isn't great, but it's decent for BBW sprays), so this is a reapply-er. I have the FFM, but have seen perfume pens and would like to get my hands on one. My husband has put this in his top 3 frags for me, he thinks it "smells like sex, but in a good way" (his words, not mine...I don't think it's quite on that level). I think this is a skin scent, but worth a try and one the best summery things they've done, it's got some complexity.

Sreza7

This is one of my favorite summertime scents from bath and body works next to Waikiki beach coconut and pink lily and bamboo. So, At the Beach is the ultimate “beach in a bottle” scent. Today I layered my musky light floral Donna Karan Cashmere Aura fragrance with the At the Beach body cream and it blended so nicely with it. Can’t wait until next summer to wear the heck out of this combo!

mychinarose

Decided to put this on as a whim today, as it's September but still 95 F degrees in Texas and so summer isn't quite over! This is a coconut sno-cone, hands-down. It's sugary sweet coconut that you could drink, for sure. It's light and fun.

laurielala

I live at the Jersey Shore and I think B&BWs has captured the beach smells here! To me, I get the ocean and coconut smells, but really I get surf wax/suntan lotion smell up front and center. I actually blend this with Mac Turquatic and they go great together! My husband likes it too ❤️

The mini perfume spray is the best performing... I've heard the lotions last longer than the large body spray. I have the mini perfume and body spray: Mini perfume is the way to go with all the newer fragrances from B&BWs

Liberális Artúr

I cannot smell anything else beside the coconut, it's way too strong and suppresses the other notes (if there are any - I cannot tell :D )

VanillaTabbyCat1963

My sister gave this to me because it didn't remind her of the beach. I get a strong, predominantly gardenia in this scent. May be that is the coconut? Whatever it is, I really find this fun and summery!

Mbrock

First, Other than being blue & having the name beach in it there is nothing similar in this to Beachscape. Nothing. The main note in this is coconut Its light with some floral background. There is no coconut in Beachscape its an aquatic floral with a sand note.
This is a beautiful fragrance. Very beachy & I think the coconut is more wearable. Dont get me wrong I love creamy coconut from BBW & Coconut Passion from VS but I can see how those might choke some people out. This is a pretty & more dainty coconut. If you like a good beachy scent then I think you cant go wrong with this.

Albiretu

Beach in a bottle, makes me think of sunsets on the beach, wearing an airy t-shirt, salt in my hair, drinking a coconut watching the sun go down after a surf session.

It's a nice, breezy, salty combination of lime and coconut of me.

I just retested this, the first time I tried it it got mixed up with other mists. One spray on the back of my hand and it's still going strong after 4 hours (it's a skin scent, of course).
Call me crazy, but it smells a lot like Virgin Island Water by Creed to me. That one dries down to a skin scent real fast and it's gone after a couple hours, and overall 15$ for 200+ ml is better than 450$ for 100 ml, right?

Love this, will be purchasing soon.

Mctmes

My sister in law bought me the fragrance mist and the lotion last year and I have to say they've become staples for my summer wardrobe. It smells like banana boat tanning oil, the beach, coconut. It's absolutely fantastic to put on after a nice shower to wash sweat off. I think the longevity is pretty good for a mist.

Brighter44

Has a “carpet fresh” hint in the background I can’t stand that stuffs up my nose like a carpet deodorizing spray. Very synthetic.
I bought and loved then now I hate it.

Abjora

I love this scent so much! An absolute breath of fresh sea salt air on the beach, as the name denotes. I'm a huge coconut fan but this isn't the most coconutty scent out there. Just enough coconut sweetness to compliment the saltiness and airiness. A perfect summer scent for any person at any age.

Taishi92

I really like this as a summer scent. My mom bought me both the mist and the lotion, and its good. Its refreshing, and beachy. I don't really get coconut. Instead I smell salty waves and brown sugar sand. So good!

basgam

Oh my Lord.. No. No, no, no. This smell is far from real coconut, it's more like creamy pineapple odour combined with sun-bed/tanning lotion. Purchased both, the body cream and EDP based on the reviews here, and regretted it. They differ, but there's nothing salty or yummy here. It's far from the holiday scent I know of.

Countrygurl

Enjoy this summer scent. very coconut, pineapple, sandy scent. However , save your money and just buy Body Fantasies Coconut Breeze at walmart for 2.88 . very similar scent but so much cheaper..

MrBumblepants

I'm editing my previous review. This is now 2021:

I've become a fan of this scent. Either my nose or skin has changed. Starts off with coconut but it fades down quite a bit. Then it turns to a suntan lotion type of fragrance. Lasts pretty good to be a body spray. Good for summer, definitely Beachy. Trying to find some lighter scents to wear that I haven't already worn a thousand times.

juniemoon

This stuff cost me 17 dollars Canadian today. The tester smelled okay but when I got mine home today all I smelled was faint salt and fishy smell. Yuck. Going back today. Not chancing another bottle.

rastamama

Perfect Summer scent. Has a nice coconut, suntan lotion scent. I layered the lotion and body spray with Maui Fantasy and loved it. Very tropical and warm together. Made me feel like walking down by the beach near alll the shops. Gave me that instant warm sun feeling
The blue bottle makes you think it’s aquatic... to me it’s not. The bottle should look like the lotion container with the White Beach foam flowing onto the warm gold sand.

Perfumeaddict777

Yes!! I got the perfume version. I've reviewed the body spray. Well the perfume is slightly different. In the perfume i smell a salted lime and coconut water. Slightly sweetned. It's very breezy, oceanic and warm. As it dries down i smell tiare (not listed in the notes) and coconut husk. The lime dissipates after 15 minutes. The salt stays all the way to the delicious end:) it's so cold and snowy today . I've layered the lotion, body spray and perfume And this is making me feel uplifted .

Pretty reminiscent of Bronze Goddess. For me, its ENOUGH like it that I will take this over the price and the complete zero lasting power of Bronze Goddess.

How is it similar to Bronze Goddess? It sits right next door to Bronze Goddess... Not exactly the SAME, but like a sister to her.

I could easily imagine that one familiar with Bronze Goddess will smell this on me and assume IT IS Bronze Goddess.

At The Beach has a more prominent coconut (however, its blended very well, and not overpowering).

There is also a TART FRUIT here, whereas, I never smell fruit in Bronze Goddess. To me... the fruit in this one comes across as pineapple, made slightly creamy with coconut milk. (Edited the next day to say: The fruit completely disappears after about 10 minutes, then it becomes even more like bronze goddess).

There is wonderful salt here, too, which I love.

So far, I do not pick up Tiare at all. (Update: Tiare DOES show up about 10 minutes in).

This is not as GOOD of a scent, not as beautifully conceived, as Bronze Goddess.

Close enough, for me, though.

I mean... 19.00 $ for a HUGE bottle, including also a big tube of the body lotion... I have no issue whatsoever with putting this in my summer rotation.

I will take this, and i know i will have fun with this and use it all summer long.

I also have Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Tiare, which is a gorgeous BOMB of a summer frag, and so...

I feel satisfied with my summer stock.

Word to the wise... The lotion DOES have that underlying Bath and Body signature stale thing going on. (They are like McDonalds in that way... always the same very off putting base in all of their lotions... Why do they do that? Its terrible!)
But its not anything most will ever pick up or notice.

TopDonna321

I LOVE this scent!! I received a recommendation from a YouTube video and I really fell in love. It's coconutty and beachy, extremely wearable. Some sweetness but not too cloying. Really great scent for a good price. Great longevity on my skin.

Cocotea

I hate coconut notes in perfumes, they are usually grossly synthetic, oily, rancid and suffocating, and smell nothing like the coconuts around me. This though, is as close to a real coconut as I've ever smelled from any fragrance ever. It smells like a freshly opened coconut with the sweet water spilling from it and wetting the husk part of it. It smells just like that! I'm in awe and admiration of whomever created this scent. It's the only coconut heavy fragrance I've come across that I just can't get enough of. I get very little of the salt note but that's OK. I've had this since Friday and it's now Sunday evening and I've used about two ounces of the eight ounce bottle of mist. It's that good. Lasts well over twenty four hours on clothes and about four to five hours on my skin. I keep inhaling my wrist and arms...it's that good. And coming from someone who detests coconut notes..who knew?

nadya.chan

at first spray, the sea salt note is too strong but its a memorable scent (maybe because kathleen lights raved about it too) But I rarely smell a sea salt notes in my perfume. I sprayed it on my wrist and I went to the cinema and I keep smelling a nice scent from me and I know its this one!! It dried down to a soft floraly scent and I really really like it !!

JustJess5

I didn't get a chance to test this in-store. By the notes and reviews I thought I would have really enjoyed this so I ordered it online. Unfortunately it borders a little heavy on the salt note (on my skin at least). I do like it and will use it but I wish the salt note was toned down a bit on me so I could pick up on the other notes a little more

tiredstarlings

One of the better B&B fragrances. It's sweet and coconutty but it also has quite a bit of saltiness that really sets it apart. I was thrilled this line has a sea salt hair mist, too.

laura22

I love this for an inexpensive summer/vacation fragrance. Coconut and quality sunscreen smell, sweet but not cloying. Lasts for about 5 hours.

raw umber

Salty-sweet and warm with some clean white musk. It's perhaps a tiny bit floral or coconutty but the primary scent is "beach musk" like skin that has experienced a day of relaxation. It smells slightly more high quality than the average Bath & Bodyworks fragrance. I'm reviewing the edp travel spray. There’s no pineapple to my nose- in the edp concentration anyway.

shawna_j_davis

This scent is the perfect summer scent. It's long lasting, but not overly powerful where you will be annoying to those around you. It's sweet and clean. I have a travel spray of this scent that I keep in my desk at work and it's a perfect work fragrance. I get lots of compliments on this. I think it's probably one of the best BBW scents to come out in a long time. I have to agree with the reviewer that said 99.9% of BBW scents the past few years have an underlying cheap musk fragrance and they all smell very much alike. This one is different!

Betsywoolbright

The notes look promising and I'm intrigued by the reviews. Does this one feature that awful cheap musk base that 99.9% of BBW's releases over the last 3-5 years have?

bkaye

I just got this today. B&B has a great sale right now, buy 3 items and get 2 free. I got the lotion, spray and body wash in 'at the beach'. The coconut is the dominant ingredient. It's a very nice fragrance to wear to all the fairs and arts & crafts bazaars we have going in my area during the summer season.

Perfumeaddict777

I adore this!! I have the body spray and Lotion and it's the best sunscreen scent I've ever smelled and it layers beautifully with lots of summer perfumes including aqva divina, Intense tiare, Versace crystal noir, Fire island, and lots more. It's extremely long lasting especially for a body spray. I get lots of coconut, not sugar sweet but sunscreen type. Salt and fragapini. It's so beachy, smells just like being smothered in sunscreen, with salt water drying on your skin with the heat of the sun warming it. I love this! It would be amazing if they would make a perfume version! :) sillage starts at an arms length and then softens to moderate to soft, lasting around 4 hours on my skin. By far my favorite scent from BBW.

LoveJoy22

Rice Flower & Shea meets the old formula of Warm Vanilla Sugar! This is a gorgeous interpretation of what Bath & Body Works use to produce!

sda11489

This is an amazing fragrance!! It lasts an extremely long time, especially when layered with the body lotion. It's a fresh, beach, summery smell that you won't want to stop sniffing. This is everything I wanted Bronze Goddess to be!!
