Surprisingly, it smells very similar to MontBlanc Legend EDP, especially the violet leave note in the opening. Then in the dry down, Azure & Legend EDP are just very slightly different. And I mean, slightly.

عطر صيفي رائع للاستعمال اليومي

Freakmoney

This is far and away the worst Bentley for men fragrance. It smells like a synthetic cleaner. It’s trying to be a basic blue fragrance and it doesn’t even do that right. If you want a nice inoffensive fresh fragrance, Bentley for men silverlake is 5000 times better.

monsieur.moustache

While I'm generally not a fan of this type of fragrance, the opening offered some potential. However, what was initially nice vanished after about 5 minutes. And what was left was a fairly generic, synthetic skin scent.

Giordy

Maceration is a thing...
This is one of my fragrances i did not like, and now after like 2years this thing starts to smell nice.
The harsch synthetic opening is still sharp, but the citrus is much better.
The fagrances has more depth no... Perfumery is such weird thing haha

Radknight

Nice low-key, clean, powdery fragrance.

The initial spray is citrusy and somewhat bright and dries down to a fresh, very dry powder feel on the skin with a light amount of florals. You have to spray a lot of this on to get projection. Performance is weak and it doesn't last long becoming an intimate scent within an hour. I don't know if it's my bottle but I had to drench my skin to get any projection or performance.

Very nice and unassuming. Great for office, church, PTA meetings, 8-hour flights (where you can respray) or anywhere else where you don't want to stand out but want to feel clean and fresh.

This is a nice guy scent. You aren't going to offend anyone with this. Not a date night or club scent unless you play the 'nice guy' part. You may get compliments but not from anyone who wants to play, maybe a girlfriend's mother or grandmother. I don't see my 30 year or younger single self wearing this.

Good fragrance smells quality. 6.5 out of 10

For me it smells very basic and masculine. BUT Will i buy it after i smell? The answer is so obvious NO. Azure smells very generic and cheap. Other bentley frags smell rich but azure does not. One Word as a summary; Disappointing

milanmacik

smells to me like medicine cabinet..
probably that ozonic note.. reminds me also smell of your skin after being in the sun bed/ solarium.

it is kind of dry smell..
i like it

not impressive at all, but definitely wearable and not offensive.

shytot

Synthetic opening and a very unpleasant note in the dry down. This was a blind buy. I won't be wearing it a second time.

MarkoPeeko

The dry down is where this comes alive.

The ozonic screech off the opening is fairly heavy, but it settles and projects a nice blend of citrus, violet and tea. Kinda an earl grey tea vibe.

Doesn’t last too long on my skin. Projection is moderate. Enough to remind you it’s there. Worth throwing on and reapplying over the summer.

H/T to those who got similarities with SMW. I see you. I did for a few minutes, too.

First thoughts: Old school as fuck. Smells like an old man.
Then after the first whiff, you get very bright florals, citruses, which are synthetic unfourtunately, a little bit of vanillic sweetness, the pineapple, with an omnipresent aquatic freshness. It settles to some sort of smooth kinda woody note. Everything with a vegetal twist of the pimento, which reminds me of Lacoste Essential. Very clean, light, interesting fragrance. Unfourtunately it's too cloying for summer, definitely too much florals, and yeah, smells like an old man, you have to be into this kind of old school cologne style. Unique for the price. Probably would be nice for spring but for summer it's a definite no.

MM89

This one really grew on me with the right time of year to wear. I got it last autumn/fall and it was a like at best. It was just nothing special at the time. It was flat and all I was able to smell was some citruses, violet and nothing else was distinguishable. But man it pops off in the heat! It's now 35C° where I live and this thing keeps changing and projecting for hours. Summer banger, just don't overspray, because at one point it starts to get clawing and a bit unpleasant in the mid/dry down.
Longevity 8-10 hours with 5-6 hours of strong projection for me. For summer its a 8.5/10.

Somehow, Azure has more appeal than Silverlake. Yes, Silverlake smells more modern, but Azure is that kind of timeless old-school that is somehow is always relevant with present time.

About the same performance also with Silverlake. If I have to rank fresh flankers of Bentley for Men line:

3. Silverlake 8/10
2. Azure 8.5/10
1. Black Edition 9/10

Yup, I prefer Black Edition over Azure & Silverlake. But like you can see my rating & scoring, all three are great to have.

Love Bentley fragrances.

Very good summer / good weather juice! Very well performing and it definitely has a character that elevates it above many of its genre. To me its reminiscent of the good old classic Givenchy Insense Ultramarine. The Tea and Paprika notes provide this with an unusual vibe which I do like a lot. Overall an amazing and reliable companion for the summer days and beyond!

BernardF

Got it in yesterday. Gave it 24 hours to make up my opinion but can't say anything else than masterpiece. Sounds dramatic but concidering the price, the DNA, the notes, quality and performance i can't say anything else than masterpiece. It's an absolute steal for the price.

Perfect casual masculine summertime fragrance which you even can pull off in spring, fall and early winter. Office, date, dinner, party or in the gym, it's all good. It's fresh, sweet, fruity, clean and masculine and doesn't smell overall like other fragrances. Yes, you can get wiffs off fragrances you know but deep down it's so unique on its own! Just get it, enjoy it!

Glennard

Spring is in the air so I tried this out today and am overall happy. Could perform a little better but one can only expect so much from affordable freshies. This one will definitely be a regular when spring fully comes around

allenwebbtmg

My wife loves this sent and even sneaks a spray of two on her at times.
I bought it as a cheap blind buy and I have to say I like it.
Really clean fresh sent that reminds me of Legend at opening with the hint of lavender and sage.
Great for Spring and Summer but I have tested it all year round.
Just a good clean fresh sent for $25 a bottle.

As a car enthusiast, when I learnt back in 2019 that Bentley, Jaguar and a lot of other car brands were actually marketing fragrances as well, I found that it was kind of funny but cool at the same time.

So my mom gifted me this fragrance cause she knew that I like Bergamot, Tonka Bean as well as the tea notes ! And what a good idea she had <3

It feels fresh, doesn’t smell cheap but still an isty bisty bit synthetic to me, but the blend of each notes feels so soothing to me. That’s a summer perfume that was kind of strong on my skin even if it is an aquatic and fruity scent ! It is coming from the paprika, making that fragrance a fresh spicy one !
It is an affordable scent but I don’t like the feeling of the upper part of the bottle, it’s soooo plasticky
I feel like this is a great unisex perfume, that is really relevant !

I would rate it a 6/10

ohlookataco

The opening is a bit chemically smelling, but after a few mins it settles down and definitely smells like chrome. The only notes I get is tea, sage, cashmere and a slight touch of tangerine or bergamot. The opening is the worst part of this fragrance, lasted longer than I expected as well. Smells kind of like chrome mixed with issey miyake l'eau d'issey pour homme, which smells like hairspray to me... Too sharp and synthetic for me, leans unisex for feminine to my nose, I'm glad I only got a small travel size of this, skip this bentley release. Unless you're a girl, then go for it I guess, just don't overspray.

robertkod

Smells good, lasts long, and is cheap. Safe blind buy.

d2blepeace

Bentley for Men Azure is definitely a men cologne for spring-summer occasion. I blind bought this one due to a reasonable price but it is just just an average scent to my taste.

I would descibe Bentley for Men Azure as Fresh Spicy and Powdery chyrpe instead of Ozonic or Fresh. I can't tell if there is any pineapple in the top notes but it's not the main factor of this fragrance. The slight spiciness and powdery is what I had after having the first spray. The scent simply turns into a softer kind of green, chyrpe and herbal after 20-30 minutes on my skin until it completely wear off.

Althought I think Azure has the best bottle's design of this Bentley's line, the transparent-blue gradient, the bottle cap irritates me by making screeching sound everytime it moves.

Bentley Azure has moderate projection for about 1-2 hours and lasts for about 4-5 hours on my skin. It is a simple and acceptable choice for spring/summer, but remember to buy it on discounters for best offers guys.

Jasa1234

If you’re thinking about getting this for a blind buy I 100% support that decision. I received it in the mail yesterday 02/08/23 and wore it to work today( next day) and I’ve already received two compliments and it was hours after I originally sprayed it on. Now if you have Azzaro Chrome, just know that these frags are about 80-90% similar but this one for sure smells better and has gotten me more compliments. It’s Basically Chrome but with less of the metallic and Floral notes and more fruitier/water notes which for my own liking is better to my nose and my skin chemistry. Definitely smells better and last longer when sprayed on your shirt as well.

Scent of gentleman

What a surprise. Underrated gem. Fresh and versatile, but it is long lasting, as well. Nice one.

MikeRauch

This is a low key banger. A high class smelling freshie. This is another one I wear to the gym or for daily errands. Great in warmer weather. I would imagine someone smelling like this driving their Bentley Azure down the Mediterranean Coast. This would be a great addition to any collection. The bottle is very nice too. Performance is respectable for a fresh type. I get anywhere between 6-8 hours. The scent stays linear throughout it's duration.

pushkarj

wayyyy underrated fresh fragrance

moondawn

nice "clean" smell, impossible to dislike. cheap as f..k as well, but it doesn't smell cheap. you're going to please everyone with this one, you can be sure of that. it's literally for any man and any occasion, in fact, I'd say it's perfect for that type of man who has only 1 or 2 fragrances in entire collection. you get about 5 to 6 hours of longevity, with moderate projection. I paid 19 euros for 100ml bottle and even got free delivery from Notino. it's such a good deal and obviously a solid like from me. Bentley trully is one of the best among those "value" brands.

AbeStreet

I could repeat Criglett Clussnum's review almost word for word and so I'll just add this in addition to what he says. What I enjoy about this fragrance is that the pineapple and violet leaf notes don't have that much in common with other more popular fragrances and clones of those fragrances, that utilize those notes. These notes are muted but blended into an attractive fragrance that, while not groundbreaking, does do its own thing and does it pretty well.

Criglett Clussnum

I know Azzaro Chrome when I smell it and the opening to this reminds me of just that. The difference is later on you get a little more of a sweet shaving cream vibe. I'm also reminded a little bit of JV x NJ the Blue version way later in the dry down. I don't get very much tea but you can tell that it's in there faintly. Overall this is a good fragrance but it doesn't project as great as some of the other Bentleys but it lasts about 6-7 hours on clothes. It's also not as musky as some of the others. This isn't an ambroxan bomb like Momentum Intense. Azure is a slightly mature but slightly sweet and herbal Blue fragrance. It's a good one to have in your collection!

xomuz

Smells exactly like David Beckham The Essence just smells like some sort of apple nothing else and smells bad on clothes
I don't recommend

My Brazilian Review

It's fall now here in Brazil. Temperature here is around 20ºC.

That said, it smells "like water". Better than in hot weather.

Good, low profile, fresh.
Moderate performance, and that is a lot of sometimes the perfect way to perform.
In my opinion, in home office, the easily you can wash of the fragrance, the better.
Occasions: everyday, day time, work and casual.
"Clean" scent.

IMHO

Rob321x

Out of the entire Bentley for men line, this is the by far the one that let me down the most. The rest of the line is amazing for a car brand.

obsidianknighthawk

Average scent.

It's been 42 C out here the past few days and I have been pretty much only looking at the freshies section of my frag wardrobe and Bentley Azure has been getting quite a bit of usage along with Silverlake, Cool Water Intense, Lalique White and a couple of others. Let's face it, a dry 42 degree heatwave is going to evaporate anything you put on right off your skin, especially if you work outdoors like I do so looking for longevity is pretty much a nonstarter. So I am definitely not taking out my more expensive Xerjoff Nios and Creed Pure white colognes.

All that being said, Azure is an overlooked winner in the heat. It's pretty much Bentley's take on Chrome, just jazzed up and updated a bit, taking out the metallic parts and adding juicier, fruitier citrus notes. I wore quite a bit of Chrome back in the late 90's and have good memories attached to it so Azure hits a lot of familiar comforting notes.

The citruses up top are lush and juicy, Bergamot and pineapple, perks you right up. The mid I mostly get tea and something else, maybe the lavender. The base dries down to a non descript musky, woody tonka mild sweetness. All the magic here is basically up top. Longevity right now is around the 4 hour mark but that could just be the high heat melting it right off me. I have a feeling this will last a bit longer once the monsoon hits these parts end of June.

In conclusion, I would say Azure does everything it was designed to, a great fresh summer frag that smells good even when you sweat through it and is affordable enough that you can over spray without second thoughts. If you happen to live anywhere with high heat in summers, do check this out. It's really good.

PS. if you want the ADG DNA and slightly better performance, pick up Bentley Silverlake. I have both and have been alternating between the two.

Didn't like it - and ended up giving it away to my 13 year old boy. I bought it after looking for long-lasting cheap freshies - and I saw a YouTube video of an idiot telling me that all of these cheapies from the rack store were gems, lasted long and smelt great - so I took a chance since it was cheap. I definitely picked up the ''ozonic'' smell - but i wouldn't class this as fresh? it reminded me of those times when i was a kid playing in outdoor parks in hot weather, and the smell you get when putting your nose near anything plastic during the hottest day of the year - e.g. - inside 1 of those plastic tunnels. just a hot and uncomfortable smell - the kind of smell that makes you thirsty and just want refreshment - so i found it strange that a so-called freshie was actually causing the thirst! I just had this overwhelming feeling that this needed some citrus to fix it - but I am shocked to see here on this website that it's main notes are already citrus??? that can't be right. If they amped up the citrus, or even throw in some abroxan, it might fix it. Shame i couldn't enjoy it. My boy liked it though when I gave it to him - because he said it smelt like really posh deodorant.

Jerre

Haven't used this one in a year and decided since it was a warm day, I should give it a go. I had forgotten how good it is and this time I got more out of it than I recall from before. Off the top peppery, must be the paprika. I also got something I didn't remember from earlier uses. A slight gasoline vibe like from Fahrenheit. In mere moments the sage and tea come in and gives a fourgere feel to it, a bit green but mixed with ocean air. I don't get much citrus if any, and that is fine with me. This is a great release by Bentley. Never a disappointment with that brand.

Unmodernize

Bentley is underrated as a house, and this shows to be a lovely spring/summer fragrance with pleasing attractive notes for a man. The tea note is quite strong and makes for an overall clean and classy scent.

Edit: I actually find the perfomance being quite subpar, I can’t smell it after 2 hours. And I started to pick up on a very synthetic cheap quality of the juice in the opening if you spray a lot (2-6 sprays) to compensate for the weak sillage. The transparent fruity tea smell is still nice but not a homerun.

Fipo010812

I dont understand why people talk bad about this fragrance , this is 85% Montblanc Legend and 15% Azzaro Chrome thats simple , its the better Bentley to receive compliments the other Bentley are more on the niche side , i like this but the performance its just ok... On my contry its no store selling this , i ordered online (blind buy) if you want to know the smell just go to a store and smell Montblanc Legend.

vitor rd

I agree with the comparisions with azzaro chrome, but azure is better in my opinion, has more class. It doesnt has that strong mettalic aspect of chrome, here we have citrus, fresh tea note, lavender and little bit sweet creamy in the drydown.

In general we get an airy feel, very fresh and easy to wear, but elegant too

TheoLaRosa

This is a lovely fresh, citrusy, and fruity aquatic fragrance with a warm and slightly woodsy base. The opening is quite fresh and fruity and you can really pick up the tangerine and bergamot in the top notes. It also has a really nice fresh spiciness to it that dries down into a comforting and warm, aromatic scent that is very clean and professional smelling and very un-obnoxious. I personally could only very lightly smell the lavender. I feel like this would work well as an everyday scent to throw on before you leave the house, for office jobs, events, and for general wear in warmer weather.

Orlygrazi

Great scent and excellent value - I have both Ambre Topkapi and Riverside Drive and can say that this shares more similarities with the former, specially the opening. Considering the price difference between this and the more expensive alternatives, this is an excellent get. The bottle and sprayer are great quality too.

MAKSTR

Lovely mild aqautic fresh green citrusy soft scent pretty non offensive projects lovely soft masculine aroma for about 3 hours then slows down to 1 foot. On my skin lasts for about 5 hours and on clothes 7-8 hours.
So far every scent I got from this house hasn't disappointed.
If you like fresh green aquatic mild scents then it's a safe blind buy.
I'm not wearing it right now so can't go note by note and transitions on hourly basis but after the lovely sweet n sour opening it remains pretty much same. The feeling is exactly like standing nearby the calm azure sea driving a convertible as shown in picture this scent is perfect for summer holidays in southern EU or Miami or on a long drive from LA to San Fran.
Scent 8/10
Sillage 7/10
Longevity 8/10
Value 9/10

[email protected]

The opening reminds me of how manly shaving cream smells.
There is a clove note that fades to the background once it is dry.

Once dry it smells more aquatic, reminiscent of other blue fragrances, but it holds its own place.
At first I did not like Azure but the more I use it the more I like and appreciate it.

If I use about 11 sprays it last all day.
1 back of neck
1 back middle
1 chest

1 L shoulder
1 L bicep
2 L rib cage

1 R shoulder
1 R bicep
2 R rib cage

I only put 1 on the chest though because it smells off if it is too concentrated near my nose.

Azure seems well suited for for business settings, but it is very versatile, you just smell fresh showered and clean.

Stanfragm@n84

Lots and lots of lavender... Very dominant....... Lavender..... A pass for me.. Smells like a lavender toilet spray....mont blanc legend with an overdose of synthetic lavender. 😖🤦

Detman101

I received my 10ml sample of this heavenly fragrance and omg...
This...is what I have been looking for.
This is just...the most magnificent fragrance...the scent...the performance...the longevity...just perfection!!
It starts off with a beautiful hit of pineapple and light citrus...then the citrus fades and the luscious VIOLET comes to the forefront and holds hands with the pineapple. Then they walk together over to the hill of black tea leaves and the three of them frolic together...creating the most beautiful crescendo of blended scents. There they jump and run and frolic in pineapple-violet-tea beauty until they tire out 6 hours later and the three of them walk over to the cashmere fields holding hands. There, the three of them lie down together and take a nice long nap for 2 more hours...wrapped in soft warm vanilla cashmere softness...making the most beautiful and warm cloud of scent that the angels up above take appreciation of.

I am definitely in-love with this fragrance...and it's a game-changer. I put it on at 0730 this morning and I'm STILL getting wafts of it at 18:56 in the evening.
This is I-N-S-A-N-E performance!!!
Prior to this, "Burberry - Touch" was my signature scent because I just love the powdery violet and the accompanying notes...it's just heavenly to me, but the performance is through the floor! I have to have a bottle of it stashed everywhere I go just to stay smelling like it all day. One at home, Another at work, another little 1.0oz in the truck...it's maddening. With "Bentley - Azure" I just have to spray it on (6 shots - both sides of neck, back of neck, 3 on chest/abdomen) in the morning...and it lasts ALL DAY!!!!
LITERALLY....ALL DAY!! The sun is going down now and it's just now starting to fade out...
I had such a great day smelling myself with that beautiful magnificent scent. I don't even care if no one else likes it...I LOVE IT!!

This is THE most beautiful mix of scents that I think I've ever had the privilege of enjoying. I had a feeling about this fragrance when I read about it here on the site. I have spent money on other fragrances trying to build the perfect scent by layering and it's kinda worked out...but this fragrance is everything I was trying to do...in one bottle.
I guess I can sell that bottle of CDNIM, this is more my kinda pineapple scent...and it doesn't smell like 30 million other guys out there.

The only sad thing is that I had seen it at Burlington way back when I started this scent-walk months ago in June. I laughed at it because it was a "Car Manufacturer" scent and giggled that "...it probably smells like overpriced-underperforming luxury new car scent". Boy was I wrong...and boy am I eating crow now. Not only because this fragrance is heaven-sent, but I could have bought a 3.3oz bottle for $12.99 that day.
**CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY****CRY**
Instead, I bought a bottle of "Kenneth Cole - Signature" with my $20.00 and "Bentley - Azure" is a whole echelon above friggin "kenneth cole - signature".
Ignorance is bliss...til you realize how stupid you were later on... =[

Ah well, now I have to pay full price for a bottle, AND it's sibling "Bentley - Black Edition". I may take a short stay in the dog-house and get in trouble with the wife. I know I'm supposed to be taking it easy with my fragrance purchases...but this can't wait. I need those two fragrances in my life...in full 3.3oz bottles...and I need them NOW! I need them like yesterday!
Yeah...I'm taking the plunge...if yall don't hear from me for a while, just know that I ordered both bottles of cologne...and I'm being buried with them...happily...lol.

EDIT: I finally figured out what this smells like. I was looking through my old decants from the early 2000s and I found a small sample of "Creed - Himalaya" and sure enough...Azure smells JUST like it!

OntheMark

Foconero? Burberry Weekend? Legend? Cool Water? Whaaaaaat? With all due respect, I find this sort of comparison to be a bit lazy and misleading. This is not the slightest bit like any of these, unless you're just picking out one note.

That said, I can tell you this. This stuff is all about the violet leaf. More of a candied violet leaf - like that parma violet candy (aka C.Howards) many of us had as kids. The rest is really up to what facets reflect more off your skin. For me, this reminds me (sort of) of what you might get if you combined 90% Aqua Fahrenheit (with a WAY dialed up candied violet) and 10% of Azzaro Hot Pepper. It's hard to explain, but AHP is all about red pepper and cashmeran, and a similar accord sits in the background and interferes a bit with the brighter notes from AF in Azure's composition. The effect can be a bit muddled at times, but at least for me, the dry down reverts to mostly that beautiful violet. And on other days, I get mostly violet and light citruses, with just a hint of tea leaf. If you were to ask me what this reminds me of most of all, I might mention E. Zegna's Uomo as what I'd consider to be maybe a brighter, more balanced version of Azure, but at the cost of a less pronounced violet.

Overall, this is pretty unique, in spite of all the comparisons. Few masculine scents feature violet leaf so prominently or as sweetly as this. In spite of its flaws, I find myself craving it from time to time. Good stuff, great bottle.

DukeDa91

Cheaper version of Tiziana terenzi foconero, very pleasant can't go wrong with it.

Armchair Racer

This is such a weird fragrance for me. Sometimes it smells like the most harsh metallic synthetic astringent crap. And then other times it smells like lovely pineapple violet tea. For me it definitely smells better on skin than on clothes.

ObsessedJoydjay

The closest I can compare Azure to would be MontBlanc Legend/Intense.
Joop Nightflight is a totally different beast with its laundry detergent smell.
Bentley Azure IMHO is much better than Azzaro Chrome United due to its fruity accord.

WGG

Cool Water tempered with a tea note at heart? Decent frag this, I keep reaching for it. Pleasant for spring or summer, it's calming/relaxing to wear, and lasts too.
4/5
Update: warmer weather. I really do keep reaching for this and have upgraded my rating

Mraamir

Well it took me sometime to finally appreciate it but it such a great find. unique, affordable, gentlemanly, lasts a good while and performs good. Just imagine yourself dressed up walking through an orchid on a breezy day in spring. just a few tips for anyone who is trying for the first time.
apply it from a distance otherwise you ll have that plasticky smell that others are complaining of. Definitely better on clothes than on skin(both scent and projection) wise. a good one to layer with sweet scents.

Seaworthy

I purchased a bottle of Bentley Azure for my husband. He loves Bentley Intense (so do I ;) so judging from the notes listed on Fragrantica Azure should have been another win, more of a lighter, citrusy summer fragrance. I own fragrances with all of the notes listed and I don't find any of them off putting (except clary sage can be tricky) but there's something definitely off putting to us in Azure. Something medicinal, sharp, strong rubbing alcohol smelling that never fades away, just permeates throughout the entire fragrance overpowering the rest of the notes. I looked Azure up on Basenotes and the notes are a little different:

Top Notes: Citrus, Pineapple, Violet leaf Heart Notes: Pimento, Lavender, Sage, Tea
Base notes: Cashmere woods, Tonka bean, Orcanox

I don't know if it's the pimento/paprika or the orcanox (whatever that is!) or a combo of notes here but it's a real shame as this fragrance is practically unwearable. Since my husband refuses to wear it I have tried wearing it myself several times and I can't get past that strong sharp metallic smell. I purchased it from a reputable source perhaps we got a bad bottle?

Catless lawyer

I think this one is maybe a bit underrated. Could be because some people would want more of the more niche-like frags like BfMI from this house. It is a more refined and possibly original take on a blue fragrance. It leans a bit more mature. Personnaly I (at 28) would only wear it when I wear clothes that are a bit more elegant, as it would in my opinion not coordinate well with, let's say, a hoodie.

Could buy it for under 21 euros. Which is a steal for a fragrance of this quality amd versatility.

I've owned Bentley For Men Azure for a couple of years now and I love it! For full transparency I am NOT a big fan of summer citrus freshies or aquatics. They all smell OK but, to me they all smell pretty similar and about 90% of them suck when it comes to performance. So I tend to lump those fragrances into one big bucket called "stuff I need for hot weather but don't necessarily love to wear".

I'll throw "Blue Fragrances" into pretty much the same bucket. They all smell alike to me. But at least here there are some good performers.

Since they all smell alike, I'm not gonna pay a lot of money when I can get pretty much the same thing a LOT cheaper. Hence I tend to look for 3 things in "Summer Aquatics" and "Blue" fragrances.
1.) Decent performance.
2.) A great price.
3.) Something that doesn't smell like 90% of all the other stuff in this category.

So my summer Fresh/Citrus/Blue "Go To" list is pretty short.....
1.) Versace Pour Homme / Signature. My one generic summer citrus.
2.) Bvlgari Aqva Atlantiqve. My "different" take on a Blue fragrance. And potent.
3.) Armaf El Cielo. Unique for the melon and violet. Moderate performer and cheap.
4.) Nautica Voyage. Completely generic crowd pleaser and dirt cheap.
5.) Bentley Azure. A more mature, grown up, gentlemanly, dress up, summer citrus aquatic. And cheap.

But here's the stuff I really enjoy wearing in the summer....
1.) Lalique Encre Noire Sport. A very different sort of aquatic. Woody and fresh.
2.) Lalique Pour Homme Equus. Smells like you just walked in from the horse barn.
3.) Guerlain Homme EDP. Unique for the mint / lime/ rum "Mojito Vibe".
4.) Bvlgari Aqva Amara. Very different take on summer citrus aquatic. And potent.

So take my out of the ordinary preferences when it comes to fragrances like Azure into consideration.

I like Azure as a more sophisticated office scent or for a night out in nice casual clothes. It smells great, performs well, and gets compliments. The violet, pineapple, and tea set it apart from the herd of clones in this category. The lavender gives it a little throwback to a barbershop scent. But it's blended well and nothing really dominates. I don't get the comments about it smelling "synthetic" at all. That may be from the crowd who believes a higher price equates to "better quality". It doesn't! The ingredients in perfumes are a fraction of the cost. Most of the money goes into print, broadcast, and web advertising along with retail displays, celebrity sponsors, and the packaging/bottle. With any luxury product it's all about selling an image, not the product, to people desperate for validation.

For under $30, this is a great tool to have in your arsenal. Not my favorite because I prefer woods and leather. But I'd much sooner spend $30 on Azure than $100 on Sauvage or Bleu De Chanel because I just don't value these crowd pleasers all that highly as a category and I don't need anyone's validation for something like a fragrance.

smellthatshit

This stuff is very off-putting. I was hoping for a nice aquatic blue fragrance but it has a strange tinge of smell to it I can only assume is the paprika. It also has a very heavy chemical scent to it. I had to wash it off after 5 hours as I couldn't tolerate it anymore.

Mystères du Château de Dé

Azure smells like a 60s or 70s mass market but decent quality men's cologne. Like a barbershop on a boardwalk by the sea.

Tazahr

This is a fantastic fragrance for what you pay..

Fresh, Well Composed, Decent quality, complements getter and long lasting.. It has unmistakable sillage or scent trail thet will be around you or will follow you unlike the rest of cheap fresh colognes..

The drydown has vibes from Prfums De Marly Galloway.

Vapor Trail

Updated review, nearly 3 years after initially trying this fragrance:

To me, Bentley Azure isn't a typical "blue" fragrance. It opens up with a strong orange/pineapple combo but dries down to something much more subdued and classy with violet leaf and tea.

Ultimately, the effervescence and brightness of "blue" fragrances is not present here, but that's not a problem. Bentley Azure is a classy, smooth spring/summer fragrance that is distinguished by a soft, persistent sillage. You may think it's gone after a few hours, but then you'll get a whiff of those lovely herbal base notes, and you'll feel classy as hell.

Despite the sophistication relative to most fragrances of the genre, this can still be dressed up or down, which seals the seal for me. A failsafe, unique fresh fragrance for a man who wants to smell clean but only... "more so."

P.S. the presentation is GORGEOUS. The blue gradient on the glass bottle is pure class.

oxobrybryoxo

Finally, a freshie in my collection that's designed with the gentleman in mind.

I blind bought this on a whim and because I was bored during this quarantine. Its love at first sniff!

Not to say I dont like the typical freshness but I'm almost 40. I cant spend my summers always smelling like a 22 year old.

Needs a shower

I am a fan of the Bentley for Men fragrances and own this one and Bentley for Men Intense.

This one was a total blind buy for me after reading several reviews here and watching the limited youtube clips that are out there.

Straight to the point, I do like it. It's a pleasant and soft fragrance that I think will be GREAT in warm/hot weather. Reminds me of Sean Jean Unforgiveable / Creed MI.

Abose3da

Unique average performing summer fragrence

Napasonoma

Bentley did it right with this. I sprayed this on after my shower and After the end of the day I went to bed with it. My wife said she got whiffs of it all day and was very pleased with the trail of scent I was leaving. I’m 65 and I can rock most any fragrance, and this one is awesome. I really don’t need to go into the breakdown because it has been done. Plus the notes listed above are accurate. Not many fragrances last today especially the freshies, but this is one you can count on all the way to the finish line!

Br0wnsfn34

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!

So I started off the year purchasing some more fragrances to add to my collection including this one..

First off the presentation looks really nice.. Good quality box and the bottle is a work of art.. Nice blue ombré theme on the bottom half of the glass.. a nice metal cap that is fit on tightly does not click into place or is not a magnet..

Now to talk about the juice.. I sprayed 2 sprays on my wrist about 5 minutes ago and it’s projecting like a beast.. The first thing I get is a pineapple punch with lingering florals which would be the violet leaf.. there is a lavender tea note lingering in the background.. This stuff smells very nice and very well made.. I would say that this fragrance can be worn year around and in any occasion.. Great for work, afternoon hang outs, date nights and even formal activities..

Smells amazing 10/10 in my book

CristoCologne

Fantastic blind buy... I have the rest of the Bentley line, and they are all good, so went for it...

I was a little skeptical about this one at first because I thought it might be a Calone based aquatic like Nautica Voyage (which I can't stand - anything with Calone either) but this is not that at all.

It is a crisp, citrusy, spicy, woody fresh frag which lasts and lasts... I love it

It could be in the same 'scent family' as Aventus or Sauvage. Projection is good, and I get at least 6-8 hours out of it.

Super blind buy, and I think this and Intense are the best of the Bentley line.

Billy888

Not bad. Reminds me of Parfums De Marly Galloway.

djbuffoon

Love this. Whereas other summer fragrances rely heavily on citrus and Ambroxan, this one is centered a refreshing, sparkling tea accord. And unlike many other summer colognes, it actually lasts.

Shahid Akram

This is a good scent, fresh, beautiful, decent, classy, a much pricier than the bucks it takes....
But the issue with this scent is that it is constantly growing on me, becoming better, fresher, more beautiful, classier, and much more pricier than it's face value. In the beginning I found it good but with average lasting but now this is one of the best for me and longevity is really good, with heavy sillage but beautiful notes I feel it one of the most versatile scents in my perfume world. This is a must try and one should give little time to understand it.

msajoy

its in the same family as chrome no doubt, at first couple of years back i thought its weak, so i skipped it... but man this is way better than chrome or Invictus aqua new one.very different, fruity fresh light and blue frag for summer.8 hours in office.outdoors decent 4 to 5 hours with good projection for 1 hour. love it.one that's wearable in summer in this MEN line of Bentley
8/10

gabiborza

I bought a decant of this as it is affordable. Not a bad scent, but not that great either. I get this metallic weird smell that i dislike... I'm not saying it's a bad fragrance, it just doesn't resonate with me...

Sam mhj

Really graet . It remind's me of invictus aqua 2018 but that one is more polished and with more quality made this on is really harsh and syntactic

Almoon

99% reminds Azzaro Chrome

johnpatrickcastro35

ok this is an awesome scent it literally smells like brand new clothes you just bought off the rack from dillards or walmart this literally smells like a brand new suit! i kid you not this scent is worth it.... this scent alone is worth the price what makes this scent even more valuable is the fact that you can layer it with any other fragrance and smell like a million dollars!! if you havent bought this i dont know what youre waiting for to add to this ..... this reminds me of a sweet underwater spring... trust me this is very worth it

Rtiggs

I sat on buying this because of mixed reviews, but finally pulled the trigger.

I've read...smells like hair spray, alcohol blast, synthetic..blah blah.

From the first spray I smelled fruit and a slight sweetness. The fruit smell is citrus and pineapple. About 15 mins later I get pineapple, slight spice, and tea.

The scent is fresh and calming. This is not an overpowering scent, so you can go a little heavy on the sprays.

Maybe this has been done before, I don't know because I've never smelled a pineapple tea fragrance before, but I like this one a lot.

I think it's blind buy ready, but every nose is different. This is so non offensive and pleasing so I'm not sure why anyone would not like this at all.

Good stuff.

Update.....6/7/2019

Comparisons with Azure to Chrome United are highly inaccurate.

I have Azure on my left hand and Chrome United on my right.

Azure has strong pineapple, spice and tea scent. Chrome has a softer powdery slight citrus scent.

Don't get me wrong both smell really good and are both blind buy worthy, however, some have said these are 100% clones of each other and that simply is not the case.

pillowtalk

smells like the brother of very sexy for him 2. which is a good thing. if i had known, i wouldn't have purchased this, though if you do not have vsfh2, it is worth a try. the scent is nice, pleasing and very wearable for day and night.

pflyer85

I want to like this one more because I do like the scent but I get terrible performance from it on my skin. Does not project for me at all and is pretty much gone after 2-3 hours. I will probably just keep it in my office at work as a touch up scent to finish out my work day if I happen to wear something that only lasts 4-5 hours.

Peritokko

I'm testing this fragrance for 2-3 years on and off. Tester bottle is on display in one perfumery around my home.

My first test was side by side with Bentley for men Intense. I'm much more in the oriental and boozy scents so I've bought Bentley Intense.

My first sight on Bentley Azure was in in one very cold winter (-10°). Was very salty experience with a little bit of metal like smell and a little bit of bitter smell. It was on my watch strap forever.

I've tested it yesterday again on my skin. It was around 20°. Perfect scent for a spring time.

The start is a bit pungent. Again salty with that violet and pineapple accord blended in perfectly. First plan is the salt, second is that fruity accord and after that is a little but, just a pinch of sweetness.

Sits around the same for 10 hours for me. Projection and sillage are lovely.

It has nothing to do with aquatics for me. It's a different facet. In a different race track.

I'm 29 years old right now. If I have to choose summer scent I'll that instead of Bvlgary Atlantique and Aqva Amara, or ainvictus. Azure smell is more luxurious and mature.

pablosmelly

A very nice...very slightly soapy clean... and fruity warm weather fragrance. All of the notes vibe well and there seems to be a subtle pinch of spice hanging around during the dry-down.

It's chill and not in your face loud or complex.

Nice to wear to a club or bar down near the beach.

Great value.

firasmalanzy

I tried a sample of it, it open with alcoholic, synthetic bergamot and pineapple then dry down to synthetic paprica, tea and i think leather.

The longivity and sillage are weak on my skin, the first bentley cologne and the intense one are better than this one, i think i'm gonna pass on it.

Metolord

Why???? Just somebody tell me why this fragrance is this much unfairly underrated? This stuff projects and projects and lasts and last!!! Absolutely not cheap scent... actually it smells luxury... like an expensive bar of soap in the 5 star hotels... fresh, a bit soapiness by luxury touch.... people just love pay hundreds bucks for something Then will respect it and hype it.... leave it for me

shayz

great summer fragrance very similar to azzaro chrome
longevity is great 12+ hours with good projection
blind by and relay like this one
it is a safe frag and Appleseed to smell
8.5 from 10
lovely bergamont a bit metallic fresh smell
nice bottle design and quality

martinweibye

I really love Bentley Intense, but this one is just a synthetic mess. The harsh violet combined with the watery synthetic cucumber is very unpleasant. no no no Bentley

torom

Honestly I was expecting way more from this since Bentley For Men Intense is a really well-made perfume and Azure has been recommended by one of the best Youtube reviewers, Max Forti.

Unfortunately this time I don't agree with him, this smells very generic, a mixture between a cheap modern supermarket aftershave and a deodorant/body spray.

It's also quite pungent and might induce headache, in this it reminds me a lot of Sauvage EDT (not so distant from that one in general, they don't smell the same but share the same vibe).

At first spray I found it very pleasant and tought it would be a good one but after about 20 minutes I started to find it really boring and banal.

It's not classy, it's not sexy, it's not even the freshest summer cologne you can think about.

It's not terrible and not even bad, it's just... just what it is.

Ryanmmas26

This is another easy PASS for me but luckily i didn’t spend a whole lot on this fragrance.

Bentley Azure opens up with a very sharp, green opening that’s also semi fresh and reminds me of a Chrome United but Chrome United is way better. What kills my boner for this fragrance is it has this really pungent, sharp plasticy note that reminds me of the smell of a hospital. In the mid it does get better and the pineapple makes this more sweet while the tea note smoothens this out but that plastic note is still there making it unpleasant.

I can’t comment on performance as I wore this for an hour before my fiancée asked me to please scrub it off because it was giving her a headache. Which just backed the fact that this stuff is cheap and unpleasant.

Overall rating — 3 out of 10! If it didn’t have that plastic note this might at least be ok but even then it’s nothing amazing.

NiceNiffs

Fantastic. Another belter from Bentley.

I too get that harsh 'hair-spray' vibe in the opening which could, I guess, be the combo of Violet, Lavender and Pimento shouting the loudest.

10-15 minutes in and those harsh chemical aromas fade and the magic starts to happen. A classic, masculine, fresh, warm, oceanic-green scent. The closest I can think of are Green Irish Tweed and Cool Water but Azure is still different from these.

I picture me in a freshly washed linen shirt, a faint breath of sun lotion, Lime trees and a see breeze in the air.....while enjoying some Mediterranean sun as I lean against the grill of my Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible Black Edition. :)

Update 29/06/2018: 2nd wearing.
It's 27 Celsius here in the UK today - we're having a heat wave at the moment (long may it last). Anyway, immediately reached for Bentley Azure this morning and put a good 5 sprays on. Yep I really get the Pineapple this time. Front and centre. Accompanied by soft Violet, Pimento and Lavender. I think I can smell a faint citric orange or Bergamot note lurking in the background but they are pretty much muted. Boy oh boy this is a real gem of a fragrance - absolutely at the unisex end of the scale for masculine scents but stil definitely a men's style fragrance. I am gonna be rocking this all summer.

That makes 4 Bentley's I've tried so far (B for Men, B for Men Intense, B for Men Azure and B for Men Infinite Intense) and all have impressed. I reckon I need to try me something from the "Momentum" line. :)

Slutburt

Man I love this shit ha. So the initial spray is slightly off putting due to this hair spray smell my nose gets , but that fades quickly to reveal a fresh manly smell that lasts for hours. I was told " you smell like a fucking man" by a women I hugged. I'm gonna buy another bottle once mine is gone.

muotarek

Despite the price tag which is very low, the scent itself is not worth it, too synthetic and too cheap, I regret blind buying this one.

fragrantica_fan

Very underrated spring, summer scent. Insane longevity. I can still smell a bit of it on my skin after 24 hours and a shower. It's a no brainer if you buy it from the online discounters.

simpa256

Very very weak. It is the most generic cologne smell I can think off. Imagine your aftershave, hard core barbershop, or just the one you put on after shaving, like old spice, denim... It is the same. A looot of alcohol on top, some pineapple but I don't get it a lot. It goes away very fast and then it's lavender and violet leaf galore all the ways. After 3 hours, it's gone, or it lingers as a very weak skin scent. Absolutely nothing to write home about.

I expected a lot more since Bentley Intense is a niche quality level frag and a performance is excellent. This is really, nothing special. You can get a similar frag at any store, any aftershave will do and it will be in the same realm with this one.

Personally, I would put this on my bathroom shelf and probably never reach it. This is light years away from VPH, or some citrus based like Jimmy Choo Ice Man or DH Cologne or even L'Homme Libre which has Violet Leaf and it is such a gorgeous frag.

OntheMark

After not really caring for the smell of Azure on paper, I decided - against my first instinct - to try it on myself today. I had the day off, so what the heck, right?

Wow. To my amazement... Whatever disagreed with me on paper was a complete non-issue on skin. This stuff is a combination of notes that are both strange and familiar, and nothing I would ever have thought would work for me.

Opening: Sweet, bright citrus, not so much pineapple to my nose (unlike Aventus, for example), but more mandarin or tangerine. This, blended with a potent, edible smelling violet accord that reminds me of C.Howard's violet candy (look it up).

Early dry down: Citrus fades into the background, violet steps up even more. Sweet vanillic tonka creeps up and brings with it some pepper. The combination reminds me very much of Jimmy Choo Intense - which I also like - and when added to the violet note, really makes this smell like money (figuratively). Totally unique composition in my experience, absolutely brilliant.

As a sweet floral aromatic (to my nose) this veers much closer to unisex than anything I'd ever think to wear personally. After really finding myself infatuated with the scent initially, I found myself getting over it. I guess it's just one of those scents you can really like - just not so much on yourself?

Unique, attractive and yet confusing and frustrating. A "like" for me, but also a pass, as I just don't see wearing it.

crYEEd

IMO it smells like ck one with some spices.

sam.stockholm

Just bought this on my way from Amsterdam to Stockholm via KLM airlines, bought it while i was on the plane, they had a good deal so i bought it.

I tried it the second day, it's a decent cologne with somewhat a reasonable longevity. I think it stayed a max of two hours on my skin. It might varies according to the skin type and stuff.

I give it 6/10 :)

calvinwhite16

I really love this!I love when scents take me away & when I wear this on a warm day, I feel like I'm riding in a fresh ass Bentley Azure drop top

lou6

Wow! bought a sample few days ago and I'm impress. A fragrance made by Bentley and it does smell expensive like his name.
First, it's a blast of pineapple, violet, lavender and tea note with and airy vibe! Then, this accord turn in a metallic vibe similar to Azzaro Chrome which the pineapple, the lavender and violet are more present, the other notes are detectable. Then, it finish by a metallic vibe of tonka and tea (damn it smells like money)
Versatile as well (casual, dates, office, even to ''dress to impress'')
nice longevity 8hrs
good compliment factor similar to Azzaro chrome
but ''more mature'' scent 25+
9/10 ( a home-run considering it's a car company fragrance house)

The Colognnoisseur

Today, Bentley for Men Azure is giving me a similarity to Azzaro Chrome.

fromthebayandaroundtheway

Gave this a wearing today, a day after purchasing it for a good price. I like the scent overall now, but before I wasn't a fan. I was first introduced to it back in the UAE, and it just didn't mesh well with the heat. It is the fact that the leather note is very predominant and in a stifling humid heat became instantly cloying. Now, fast forward to a spring day in France and BOOM! Bentley Azure makes sense. This is a spring only scent. The packaging is all wrong, when you see the crystal blue bottle we think of Azzaro Chrome and a clean aromatic freshness. With Bentley its leather and a bit of citrus, pineapple, sage, a good dose of sea salt, and more leather. So after sitting down to a coffee it all hit me! The makers of this scent may have made a car commercial either by accident or fully on purpose. When one takes in all the notes we can smell a theme (if that is possible?). What is the theme? I feel that this scent encapsulates the smell of new car interior leather and the saltiness of the seaside. So basically you are driving on the Cote d' Azur (hence the name Azure) in your new Bentley with either top or windows down! Just driving down the coast on a beautiful spring day! Well, that was my caffeinated brain working on over drive on a scent theory and I think it works... my mind was racing... groan gasp terrible pun (must switch to decaf). In all seriousness it is a well crafted scent, but do not think summer on this one think spring. I think this scent should be worn on a stroll by the shore especially if it isn't Le Cote d' Azure or you are not the owner of a Bentley!

AytacAltindisTR

Not amazing, not special;only average parfum Bentley Parfum House.

Givenchy Ultramarine similar from Bentley Azure.

İntense for Man is up quality and very surprising parfum worlds.

But Azure for man absulatiy average quality and notes.

Longevity 5 hour maximum,Sillage maximum 1 hour,disappointment parfum.

Sorry Bentley.This job is wrong.

fiftycents2003

This fragrance smells similar to David Beckhams Classic Blue.

mauriciolacruz

I like this one very much. By far the best one from the 3 I own from this house (Azure, For Men Intense, Infinite Intense).

It's fresh and classy, with a very nice and quality pinapple vibe to it. It reminds me a lot of Montblanc Legend. This one possibly slightly softer.

Average projection and longevity.

Highly recommended for Spring / Summer / hot weather.

Lockon

Nice looking box, good looking bottle even better fragrance.
It smells like...have you ever walked passed a laundromat and get hit with that lovely clean scent.
Well, that's what this fragrance has going for it.

I paid $21 for a 3.4 Oz bottle, it doesn't go outside of your personal space. And last about 4 to 6 hours.
I'd buy another bottle anytime.
Once i finish the one i have.

A very nice clean laundry by the sea scent. Not aquatic at all, and the violet is more prominent than pineapple, which i only get a dry aspect of.

Like a cool breeze; graceful and underrated.

sarifuchs1983

Very very nice smell a different summer fragrance. Performance is good but not the best. Smells like givanchy ultramarine to me but in a modern way. Highly recommended

sauceheadz

Also smells like lacoste essential in the drydown

Nitrib

It's a great choice when you want something casually appealing with solidness/formal vibe. Like all Bentley fragrances, respectively done imo.

asgeirn

Finally, bull's eye! Having missed terribly blind buying Intense and Absolute, I found the right "car" for me. This classy cologne smells of sophistication and man. Not for the everyday use but more formal settings. A keeper!

Forget Freeman

I have to admit to being impressed so far with the Bentley line of fragrances, Although Azure is not really my cup of tea I like what it does and it projects and sustains well. It is very good value for money in my humble opinion.

I'd definitely recommend trying before you buy as this one is quite unique.

To me the notes here don't really convey what it smells like, I pick up a strong sea-salt vibe and this gives the scent a cool demeanor (which is what the marketing is going for) but would probably be good for milder/colder days too as there are some herby notes as well.

Of note, this is one of those scents that smells different depending on the wearer, I noticed when my younger brother tried it (he has very dry skin) it projected well yet seemed softer.

Also the 100ml bottle looks fantastic, really weighty and classy.

Good Stuff! :)

joenick68

Great summer fragrance, is elegant and versatile and it can be worn with a suit and tie or with jeans and T-shirt. I get compliments every time I wear it.

The first spray from the bottle reminds me of the watery citrus and soapy scents of Versace Man Eau Fraîche and Davidoff Cool Water except Cool Water is more in your face with the citrus and soapy scents (not complaining). I have all three and love them like children! I have both Mont Blanc Legend and Intense versions. This is nothing like them to my nose. It's a keeper bought blind.

HidingSun

Love this perfume. It's a long lasting mature fragrance with a very good projection. It can be used all year around except for snowy winter months. Can be a great signature scent for anyone above 30 years old. It sure is a keeper.

cool and appropriate daily intake
In addition, the combination of citrus and pineapple lily , sage . Tea leaf . And pepper, tonka and lavender work to see that the durability it has doubled.
It may not smell very special to me
But...
When mostly non- wearing cool things we are unhappy , especially in summer, so without a doubt , something considered reliable and perhaps become one of the strengths of this work.
For a moment the fragrance evokes Givenchy ultra Marin.
Something fresh, with the player and good durability , reasonable prices and of course a worthwhile.

Mr. Chris

Just got a sample from decantshop the other day and have been wearing it since. I will definitely be purchasing a full bottle.

It projects well for a couple hours then tones down but even the toned down skin scent I find is quite strong and still actually projects. It stays like this for about 8 to 10 hours

Understand that all noses are different and my review is totally subjective and this is what I GET, which is quite possibly different from others' noses. I've heard ppl compare this to GIT and cool water, I own both of those and do not see any similarity other than they are fresh scents. Azure does not have a green feel and I dont get much of an aquatic either.

Opening: citrus fresh aromatic dominates a new luxury car with leather interior smell

One hour in: The citrus fades and the leather rises to even itself out with the fresh aromatic and the new car smell.

After about three hours: The leather becomes dominant, it gets richer and more vivid. The fresh new luxury car smell is still present but takes on a wingman role and compliments the leather.

One of those scents that boosts your confidence and you subconsciously walk a little more upright, hold your head a little higher (not in a snobby way but in a man in total control of himself kind of way)

koret

smells a bit synthetic but its just fine to me.

burst of pineapple at the opening remind me Montblanc Legend, yes they have similar vibe but this is sweeter than montblanc.

but seems a bit linear for me :((

Scent: 7
Projection: 9 (loud projection within 2-3hrs)
Longetivity: 9 (8hrs on my skin)

Justapoliteguy

Not up to standard of Men Intense but still interesting enough.
Nice fruits with tonka and I can not smell any pepper.
The only thing that prevents me from really liking this one is that mentioned salty impression which after sometime is not pleasent. Realistic for sure, but personally not enjoyable. Like aftertaste of having a glass of sea watter in Adriatic. Can't see it as a frequent peace in my rotation.
Still, As said interesting and I am sure many will appreciate this scent.
Longevity very good, projection moderate.
Decent.
6/10.

M_Isa98

I just got this it's really clean and easy to wear it something between Mont Blanc legend and Cool water its also can be wearable in the cold winter mornings .
Longevity - 6-8 hours .
Sillage - moderate .
You can easily blind buy it if you are a fan of Cool water

RobKY

This fruity aromatic rests perfectly somewhere between MB Legend and Dior Sauvage (without the ambroxan). The quality is nice and performance is amazing, lasting well over 10 hours on my skin, which is pretty rare. Not only for spring/summer, the woodsy notes add enough substance to perform throughout the colder months as well. If you are a fan of the genre it is definitely worth a try. Azure is my best blind buy to date and has moved to the top of my list (for now lol).

LordCharfield

First impressions. After 10-15mins of opening box.
Very disappointing and unoriginal.
I bought the fantastic Bentley for Men Intense blindly a couple of weeks ago, and was hoping for a similar successful blind buy with this. Sadly similar to Azzarro Chrome Legend. Very soapy and similar to some of the Lynx (Axe) type of body sprays.
I bought the 30 ml travel size as I'm going to the Canaries next week, but I really can't see myself taking this when I have such a decent collection already.
This was bought from a reputable online supplier, but due to not reading the ad . properly, ended up with a perfectly acceptable plastic travel spray in a felt pouch, just not the high quality bottle supplied with the larger bottles that I was expecting, but in all honesty, befitting of it's contents!
After writing the above, it's now at 23 mins, and is slightly smoother now. This could be okay for some people, but not my usual taste for sure.
I already had some Beltley for men intense sprayed on my other hand a couple of hours before I sprayed this, and the Intense is a completely different beast - smooth, sophisticated and long lasting whereas Azure seems to be a Chrome Legend clone. So glad I only got 30 ml!
40 minutes in, no redemption for this one with time. Anyone who really loves and collects scents will be mystified why a luxury car maker would put its name to a scent that smells like a car air freshener wafting from the open window of a Vauxhall Corsa!
For the price of a full bottle of Azure, you could actually buy the very similar Azzarro Chrome Legend (in a similar looking bottle) for half the price, any of the Bvlgari summer scents for 25% less, or for around the same price, the infinitely superior Kenzo Pour Homme.
For me, I will be sticking to my trusty collection, and selecting 3 or 4 from Boucheron, Guerlain, and Lalique for my week in the sun!

This is a very nice fresh scent alternative to Mont Blanc's Legend Intense. It may even be a better option with all factors considered.

Azure has a fresh almost soapy vibe going on making it perfect for warm weather. This scent is not quite beastly (12+ hours) but considering the style of fragrance, it can be considered a beast among its peers so to speak. I got 8+ hours wearing it and it projects well throughout as i receive many compliments when i put this on.

The main difference between Azure and Legend Intense is sweetness and performance. Legend Intense is way more sweet due to the apple and synthetic amber which makes it far better suited for a younger person of the two scents. Azure is more mature and sophisticated. The dry down smells of success which I'd imagine is what heads of the frag division of the Bentley brand was aiming for (although they simply made a more mature version of a known scent). Performance wise its a clear win for Azure. Azure lasts a lot longer than Legend Intense and projects more for a longer period as well.

This is also a versatile scent. It can be worn dressed up or down and can be worn year round due to its above average performance. I believe it would shine most during warmer weather but this can definitely be the skeleton key for all situations and all seasons.

Drawbacks to this scent is that it could be considered a clone which in it self isnt a horrible thing at all unless your a frag snob. If this describes you, you may want to skip this. But this scent has made me neglect Legend Intense. I barely reach for it now and that says a lot. Other than that critique this is a great fragrance worthy of a buy.

A very well blended balance of fresh and fruity. No one note really outdoes the other a far as the pineapple, tangerine, violet leaf and lavender. I blind bought this in March I believe based on how much I love the Intense version and the pineapple note. This fragrance is definitely one of the better summer scents available as it has great longevity "6-9" hours on my skin with average sillage. Priced at under 40 bucks makes this a no brainer!

This fragrance IMO is one of the better aquatics that are out there. I've tried many different kinds through the last few years. This one smells fresh just like being near the ocean. I get perplexed how they can make a fragrance smell aquatic yet there's no water notes in it, like this one. This is one to consider if you're looking to get an aquatic fragrance, but try it first. "Decant Shop" which is a online fragrance sample business does sell decants of this. :)

Picked up a bottle of this at ROSS for $30 100ml. Blind buy bc I havent seen it at any other local fragrance store.

As a few others have mentioned, this frag seems to be aiming for a GIT vibe. Ive only sampled GIT a few times so will not say for certain how similar they are. But from what I recall, there is similarities.

This frag performs pretty well on me so well worth the money spent.

IMHO, this is a classy Spring/Summer scent. Fresh, clean and classy.
While it has similarities to other fragrances, I do like better than those others.
Best worn on a warm day while wearing crisp clean clothes. Good for formal situations too.
I love all the Bentley range. I have them all except the $3000 bottle.

If you like "Cool Water" or "Nightflight" by JOOP!, you may wanna give this a try.
It is very MOR (middle of road) and will appeal to the masses. If you are a niche fragrance, aspirational perfume connoisseur, you may not like it.

It is better than many modern aquatics and both the luxurious packaging and price point make for an exceptional gift for a car lover.

Great summer fragrance for someone who wants to "play safe" and prefers the conventional.

Great sillage and longevity.

Sadly, I have to admit that this Bentley fragrance is a really big yawn for me. I was really looking forward to it -- given the interesting line-up of notes -- but it's just way too duty-free/drug store smelling for me. Nothing at all of interest in this one: from start to finish it's totally ordinary and uninspiring. Perhaps if they gave the paprika a MAJOR starring role it might have been salvageable, but it's virtually unnoticeable and consequently the fragrance really is very ho-hum. Given the price I paid for to have it shipped from overseas, this is definitely my sorriest blind buy in years.

Longevity: long lasting
Sillage: heavy

Hi all

I have smelt this - its available from Harrods (March 2014) and everywhere else from April 2014. Was in London two weeks ago.

Opening & middle are very much of a Cool Water/GIT vibe, but dry down is much warmer.

No price on it at Harrods, but RRP for 100ml is (c) £ 60 - have seen on ebay for £ 48 + £2 pp

I agree with Jacob. Come on guys, it's only February 2014 and this cologne comes out in March 2014. You guys are messing up the purpose of having a survey on this website. Think about the people who does blind buy and they base their decision to buy a cologne on your votes most of the times.
Most people are not so rich to have a collection, most people just have one cologne at a time.
Not crying about this or a big deal to me, but let's just do the right thing here and help eachother out by not messing up the surveys. Thanks guys.
