Filippo Sorcinelli’s But Not Today gone moldy and drenched in cat piss.
Guess I like.

sotiriosc

I absolutely adore this fragrance! It's incredibly potent and exceptionally pleasing. It carries a strong musk vibe, which is both similar to and surpasses Musc 25 Los Angeles Le Labo. I cannot praise this scent enough. It features a perfect balance of oud—not too overpowering—with beautifully blended florals. Despite these notes, it maintains a distinctly masculine character. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Sundog85

Ard Al Zaafran, desert sultan sapphire for about £15 - excellent scent, you'll be glad you did.

Biggie99!

This is some strong stuff. Two sprays max. I did my usual seven sprays and gave myself a migraine. I couldn't get it off of me. It was in my clothes for 4 days. Smells great though. I'll try it again in a few months.

Farrque

Frankincense, vanilla, white musk, elemi, hint of synthetic civet, bergamot, patchouli, sandalwood, red berry accord and I could go on for ages.
Complex and well made.
Wearable yet interesting.
Definitely one of the house's best offerings!

Godsgarden

Blue sapphire smelling like coromandel ? lol … it’s again prove that smell is subjective, but coromandel is not even a rose oud fragrance to begin with

Maisonap

Really don’t get the hype about this fragrance. Too earthy, too animalic

BootneyLee

Lol. Reading some of the reviews. This is spectacular. Aromatic herbal bliss. Is it worth the price? 🤔 Hell no. But it is a high quality fragrance, that is unique and potent. If you drive a Rolls Phantom, get this quick. If not, there are clones....

Aleccsei

Coromandel with dark chocolate

Unlike others, I don't get much of the oud... but a lot of patchouli. The flower notes give the amber-patchouli combination a touch of feminine elegance, which I didn't aspect. This made me love the fragrance even more.

To me, Blue Sapphire is very sweet, so much that it remeinds me of a darker version of Coromadel by Chanel.

Tshahb

Oud Silk Mood with some extra piss, both fresh and stale, like a piss-soaked mattress sprayed with expensive air freshener.

This perfume is one of the very obvious thefts in the world of perfumes, as if the perfumer literally copied the Qurashi mixture,, usually in the world of perfumes, expensive perfumes have cheaper alternatives, quality and performance in favor of the most expensive, but here is the theft of a perfume worth $ 100 in the discount period and selling it for $ 600 This is theft and fraud from this house, which produces tirelessly and tirelessly annually dozens of perfumes, and I am not surprised if this perfume is a clear theft that it is also a lot From perfumes, this house is stolen.

Moshikoko

Wow perfume.
An aromatic scent that caresses the nose for long hours.
The perfume has presence, people knew you were coming.

9.5/10.

Thebigcrowbowski

This perfume is not for those who haven’t been exposed to Middle Eastern style fragrances. They may find it repulsive at first and not matching their style. But it smells extremely luxurious in the air. For some reason, it’s what imagine a millionaire rapper like Drake to smell like. 🤣🤣🤣

odetteyo7

WOW!

cpsottak

Oh how the nose comes a long way.

When I first smelled this, I thought it smelled like sweet piss straight up. Fast forward a couple years, and now I can appreciate this fragrance much more.

It is still not my style, I think it’s very opulent and has a lot of depth, but it doesn’t particularly suit my fashion or personality. But I do like how it smells now compared to when I first smelled it.

A lot of Bodicea fragrances took some coming around to and this is no exception, not a beginner fragrance

dalkey

On my skin this smells like Wasabi or horseradish.

AhmedElbahja95

I've seen a lot of people talk so highly of this fragrance. After hearing all this talk, I was very excited to try it. I was left bitterly disappointed. I think it's a dreadful fragrance. I get a strong note of stale piss. Blue Sapphire is absolutely disgusting. One of the worst fragrances. I think Boadicea the Victorious in general is way overpriced and nowhere near worth the money. The only outstanding fragrance I believe they make is Valliant. Everything else is basic. But hey, each to their own. I give this 1/10.

Hstafford85

Horrible. I can’t believe anyone considers this elegant or something worthy of accolades. Valiant is better.
In fear/hope I bought a beat bottle, I got the DUA dupe to compare. It was just as bad. It actually smells like a combo of 10 difference incenses combined with spicy sweat. To summarize, I do not recommend. If a woman wants a sweet middle eastern perfume, Lattafa ishq gold is lovely, but very much caramel with saffron. Amouage guidance, although an acquired taste, is a masterpiece. French- middle Eastern.

MrMrOverHere

This one's not for me, just from a personality standpoint. With fees and shipping from Harrods it also costs about eight hundred dollars, which feels weird to type because I remember when I was a kid and what I'd say if someone asked me how much I thought something really valuable was worth, and I'd be like, "probably like a thousand dollars." Well, this is just shy of that hyperbolic childhood sentiment. I'm fairly sure twelve-year-old me would fly off the handle at my adult self if I ever bought this fully knowing how many video games I could have purchased with that money.

But I think this is very pleasant, and I'm enjoying smelling it while I have the sample on. Like I said, the particular combo of elegance and exoticism, or what my nose perceives as that, and assertiveness doesn't align with how I feel when I'm just walking around day to day, so it's an easy pass, but people out there love this, and rightfully so. On me I'd label it a chamomile oud, both of which are notes I enjoy, and here they're both employed in a surprisingly fresh and bracing context. It lasts REALLY well too, and it evolves over time to where the oud becomes tamer and you get a lot more of the sage and magnolia than you do on the front end. The chamomile combined with the florals gives a kind of Light irisy effect. It screams quality, and I think it's really creative as well, but I'm just not the man for this perfume. But I can tell you something about that guy-- he has a thousand dollars to blow, and hopefully for his sake a lot more than that in his bank account if he's considering pulling the trigger on this guy. Sample first at the very least.

Emily Smith

This stuff is Amazing ❤️... I got the Clone from Misterscent...Literally lasts all day, 2 sprays max or you will clear a room 😂

Who can afford £995 for a bottle 🙃. Clone all the way for me 😊

LaContessina

Interesting powerhouse, masculine scent.

I like the way Provenzano worked with the ingredients, it starts off as very herbal (chamomile, sage), sharp, a bit citrusy, but then a patchouli – oud bomb explodes. I can barely smelly any flowers. A saffron note gives a metallic edge.
It is a quality perfume, but extremely cumbersome and , as I said ,very masculine.
Needs a strong attitude, attire and personality.

I could never wear it but I may like it on a certain type of gentleman.

PS: Halfeti, from the same Nose is way better, in my opinion.

tecfield

Very clean oud with aromatics and floral notes. Leaning masculine. Longevity is very good and projection is also over average. Herbal notes with florals gives it an aldehydic feel to it that makes it an easy scent to wear all year round skipping hot summer days. Price however is like ouch! Although it's a very nicely blended fragrance, but way overpriced for what it is. Definitely unique also. A confident woman can pull this off easily. If you can overcome the price tag, I would recommend this

Shirazkarim88

Copy of ASQ Al Qurashi Blend but worse quality. There are some different notes. Especially the transition between mid to base tones, but for the most this is a stupid buy, too expensive for nothing really.

Robusto

Price aside, this fragrance is phenomenal. I picked up a decant quite a few years ago and have only worn this sporadically....mainly at home due to COVID. Since I've been going into the office more, I've had more opportunities to give it a full wear. Because the projection and longevity are nuclear, I only have to apply 3-4 sprays. Smelling this up close on skin or clothes can be a little off-putting but the sillage is what garners the attention.

It's mysterious and non-offensive....unless you go ham with the sprays!! Oud, saffron, rose, and amber.....that's what my nose picks up. It does lean on the masculine side of unisex but I think can be worn by women, too.

If you wear this to the office, go light with the sprays. Very much a shirt/tie or casual wear fragrance but would kill with suite/tie.

Is it full bottle worthy? In my opinion, no. BTV prices are insane. Most of their frags are borderline nuclear and can get years out of a 10ml decant.

Cheers!!

ramparab

Heavy rose syrup and oud undertones. I dont get any lemon. nose can tell bit of flowers though. Very sweet, rich, opulence kinda fragrance. I can see it worn nicely on my women as well. Use sparingly, way too strong, enough to cause headache.

juliemotlagh

I have never written a bad review on a fragrance before but I must do so in this case. I place an order for Valiant through the UK online store. They require you pay through paypal. A week goes by and I did not receive my order so I chatted them through whatsapp to get an update on my order. Come to find out they cancelled it. I asked why and they said "It happens". That was strange so I asked if it "just happens" a lot. To which they replied with a blurb on their company policy which is to cancel orders if you intend to make samples out of their fragrances for profit. UMMM...how in the world would they just decide that is what I was going to do and cancel my order. Have never sold a sample of anything in my life. I don't care how much they charge for their fragrances...if a customer is willing to spend 1300 bucks for a bottle, they should at least have the decency to treat their customers better. I WILL NEVER purchase another one of their fragrances....EVER.

gnrattlerjr

Its not good when there is more discussion about the price than the fragrance itself. However, if you can get your hands on some samples, I dont think you will be disappointed in the least.

Alyjah1234

This house is farrrrrrrrr over priced, Not even

SmellAlive

This is different and it's great. The blend, the herbal oudy-flowery profile is very appealing to me and easy to love if you are into fragrances. I doubt this would be mass appealing, in fact it might be the opposite. But I can see the appeal and would love to own it if the price would be around 250 eur. Honestly the price really hurts this one, price-value usually tapers down on fragrances the more the price goes up and this one is no exeption. There are few reasons to ever pay this much for a perfume but I love the profile, blend and the ideea of this perfume. It's a great one, the price is the only deal breaker for me.

The Wolf

This is beautiful, what is that velvet?
I tried about 10 Bodicea today and this is one of my favorite. The retail price is outrageous; 905.00 retail!? GTFO!
I'm going to try ASQ Qurashi.

Scent 9/10
Performance TBD

Edit: drydown is not as good as that magic opening and mid.

vbs221

This is a blatant copy of Abdul Samad Al Qurashi "Qurashi Blend." I couldn't believe it until I smelled both. This came out in 2013, while Qurashi Blend was there since 2009.

This costs £595 for 100ml while Qurashi Blend costs £65 for 90ml here in Saudi Arabia.

This is straight up robbery, and Bodicea should be ashamed. If you want to charge £595 for something, at least create something new.

Buy the original and save money, not this copycat.

MrMarkuson

"ASQ Qurashi blend is muted compared to this" Blue sapphire was released after Qurashi blend and it's exactly the same smell, nothing more complex, for everyone save your bucks and buy Qurashi blend

TeaEnthusiast

Have not tried the other fragrances mentioned by reviewers, but something that made this one stand out was a very strong aromatic chamomile note I haven't encountered in any other perfume so far. It is noticeable especially in the projection/sillage aspect, while the sweet bubble gum and base woody notes are more noticeable closer to the skin.

An exact note that isn't mentioned here is Santolina spp., a pleasantly aromatic Mediterranean bush. It is present especially during dry down, when the chamomile already weakens and is gone. All in all very pleasant perfume, reminds me of my childhood at the seaside, but can't justify the extremely high cost - around 700 euro at this point.

Edit: Edited the price because I misread it initially

silviamm

on my skin this smells like a citrusy cleaning product with an oud background. not for me

Trendkill97

Candied fruits enveloped by soft pleasant white florals and a touch of saffron, the rose is quite light, invigorating in the opening, the oud comes through in the dry down, which is well balanced, dry and slowly becomes herbal green slightly, tones down the tarty sweetness with the patchouli, lasts a long time. Very close to Al Qurashi blend as mentioned here, almost identical. Overall, this is a versatile, beautifully performing fragrance of fine quality, if only it was a little more original. 8/10

Ava555

Its all a showoff..

(Hey guys I own Boadicea, look at me)

And the nose follows the idea and goes blind with it

Wake up and be free spirits

Noeul92

I'm on the fence with Blue Sapphire. Initially, tested this on paper and I found the fragrance quite tart, which I expected from the listed lemon note. It continued to have this sharp sourness but with a coating of candied sweetness. I didn't find the experience pleasing.

It was quite strong on paper, so I couldn't get myself to test it on skin till much later because I thought I would get a headache. After a month of sitting on the shelf, I finally tested this on skin and discovered this is much better worn. The sourness is dampened, which brings into focus the aromatic aspects.

Blue Sapphire is praised highly by many and I got caught up. I don't dislike it but not even sure if I like it. I would recommend people to try before you buy. It's not for everyone. I will be testing this more thoroughly, so this review may be premature.

emione

ASQ Qurashi blend is muted compared to this no depth and detail vs. Blue Sapphire and I am starting to think the same perfumer for both. Regardless I have both and the scent is so special I only use it for special occasions when I want to smell regal. I usually am a heavy sprayer not so with Blue Sapphire 4 to 5 sprays lasts all day and night with excellent projection as well. ASQ Qurashi is muted in comparison.

Taevious

As others have said, just buy Qurashi Blend Special Edition.

It's a fraction of the price and Blue Sapphire totally ripped it off.

ba2l

Free shipping when you spend 500£ for The Gulf and 350£ free shipping for the rest of the world??????????

Thats a real ripoff
No thank you
We have better quality perfumes in The Gulf

MrZayas81

Blue Sapphire’s opening is built upon the contrast of candied citruses and rose set against the herbal tones of camomile, sweet and sour, airy and profound like a love calligraphy written on water.

But make no mistake about it, this is a kaleidoscopic masterpiece, and it darkens as it transitions into the heart, highlighting the honeyed sweetness of jasmine and marigold rounded by the lemony facets of magnolia to reveal a scent of hypnotic proportions, reminiscent to a cloudless midnight sky.

Towards the base, the exotic florals are penetrated by the darker edges of patchouli, the warmth of amber and the smoky shadows of agarwood, capturing the essence that is directly linked to the powerful qualities associated with the blue sapphires, known since ancient times as a symbol of power and strength.

Summarizing, Blue Sapphire is the ultimate celebratory elixir, unabashedly opulent and divine beyond words.

everybodyhateschris

Buy Al Qurashi Special Blend instead for 1/4 the price and thank me later. This is what they ripped for Blue Sapphire

mandala

What a disappointment. I had high hopes reading all the raving reviews. Lucky I got a sample before purchasing. This smell almost identical as Hermetica Eterniris or Frederic Malle the Moon. If you are not a well trained nose, you wont even spot the oudy nuances in this one. On the other hand, the Moon executed really well with the barnyardy oud. So if you just want to smell good or get a nice fragrance. Get the much much cheaper Eterniris. Same longevity and even louder projection. If you want the real oud experience, get the Moon instead.

Curtis14

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

holocene

I was really expecting some kind of wow-factor from this given the price and the rave reviews, and while it is nice, there’s still nothing outstanding about this to me. It is much sweeter than I anticipated, almost a candy-bubblegum like sweetness actually but not in a pretty kind of way, there’s a edge to it. I personally think it leans very masculine. I really struggle to pick out individual notes here, even looking at the pyramid? The notes I had in my head are so different from what they actually are! Anyway, I don’t love it and I don’t hate it. It’s worth trying a sample. Longevity is really good.

Ramy salah

I have above 400 perfumes if not above 500 and I tell u blue saphair is so unique and different in a very lovely way.
Frist oud fresh take I saw ! Never believed oud can be a fresh scent !
Usually when they say it is oud fresh it doesn’t smell oud at all.
However , blue saphair does that amazingly
Blown away the moment I smelled it.
Very elegant rich luxury scent to wear in special occasions when u want to impress .

Loboloco07

Definitely not a new DNA or profile scents to me. Sharp white floral with Oud. Many will talk about the rose /Oud soapy impressions but to me is more of a sour candy at first that later became a bit more sweet with an ambery undertones. Extremely potent and only for formal occasions . Would I buy it again? I hope the full bottle I have last me for ever bc it’s expensive, so I’m not sure.

Balushi

Boadicea Blue Sapphire starts with lemon, orange, saffron, marigold, sage and chamomile. The lemon and orange gives some sourness to the scent, the saffron and marigold gives sweetness to the scent to the scent and the chamomile and sage add a herbal facet to the opening. The opening can be described as sour candy with some herbal nuances, it is musky, sweet, fresh and thick at the same time. The opening is beautiful and nostalgic as it reminds me of an old candy from my childhood. After that, the fragrance transfer to a floral heart. There is rose, jasmine and gardenia. The rose is the most prominent note but the jasmine note in the heart is really beautiful. the heart notes do not last for a long time as the scent quickly drydown to base of soft oud, earthy patchouli and warm amber. Overall, I love the opening of Blue sapphire, it is very unique and beautiful but I am not a big fan of the drydown because once the floral notes disappear after an hour or so you are left with an earthy and woody base which I found it to be a bit boring and common. The performance of this fragrance is phenomenal.

Cocovanessa

I wouldn't call this an oud rose scent as I get more of the magnolia than the rose in this.

That being said, this is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance. If you are looking for something opulent and wealthy, this is a good one to try. I also wouldn't recommend blind buying as it could potentially be overpowering to some but I absolutely love it!

I also tried the rose sapphire and the green sapphire but this one stood out the most to me, also lasted the longest on my skin (second place was the green sapphire which I also think is beautiful).

The most interesting thing about this fragrance to me was the layers and progression. After every hour you get transported to a different dimension of this beauty. It started off with a strong burst of the fresh/oud/floral notes, then started to get a little more spicy over time. At the end of it, I could almost not smell any of the oud notes, all that was left was this beautiful combination of magnolia and rose. It smelled exactly like Louis Vuitton's Contre Moi. I have always loved that fragrance and this dried down to just that! It's hard to believe there is no vanilla in this, I definitely get some creaminess in the dry down, not sure where that comes from.

I would give this a 10/10 for sillage and longevity.

ILikePeeps

At first it was like, "Oh okay, another oud/rose.." then right after I got a little smack in the face of this awesome bubble gum smell. Not a typical 'bubble gum' smell found in other frags in recent years, but more like a Bubbalicious cube type of gum smell. That's pretty cool!

Also, it smells like a mix of synth and real oud - no idea what they actually used.

mnitabach

Just tried sample of this bought direct from Boadicea, and it seems very similar to Abdul Samad Al Qurashi's Al Qurashi Blend Charme d'Orient (which is vastly cheaper). Both have citrus top notes, floral heart, oud/woody/amber base. And I found the citrus top note of Blue Sapphire to last way too long (like over an hour) for my preference

Fragranceluva4u

I have a decant of Blue Sapphire and when I wear it, I receive compliments on top of compliments. It’s not subtle by any means. Anything over 3 sprays will offend someone. It smells of wealth and pure opulence.

Overall rating 10/10

redskyatnight

Smells like a typical men's blue fragrance on steroids, then oud added on top of that. There is a screechy floral in here that gives me a headache. Possibly some Ambroxan too, the way it seems to coat my nostrils for days. It's very masculine, and a guy wearing this would not be allowed within 50 feet of me. I expected more from Boadicea the Victorious.

RamsesII

This is Aramis calligraphy guys. The original.
Just packaged differently. They are 85% similar especially in the dry down. Save your money

LadyIva

Let me start by saying that this fragrance is not unisex; it’s very masculine. Second, it’s very expensive, but in this case I don’t think that the high price is justified, because one can find rather similar scents for much less. It’s a typical ‘cold’ oud fragrance; the strongest notes are oud wood and patchouli, with some chamomile, sage and other herbs. What bothers me is a sour citric-herbal opening, which is not fully integrated with other components. The drydown is beautiful, but I’m not willing to endure hours of chamomile infusion with lemon/grapefruit until I get there.

vonj

Gorgeous, I received a sample of this with an order I made. I really think it smells so similar to Widian London that I have that I feel it would be duplicating having this as well. Maybe a proper test wear is in order. Regardless it’s great.
Definitely smells expensive:-)

gfbl

Amazingly beautiful and decadent scent...10 out of 10

avesh123

Magical smell and most wearable.. Expensive but very nice and long lasting

Freddie Mercury

Boadicea either do it very wrong, or very good, and this one is outstanding. It's a blend of Oud, Taif Rose, Orange and Saffron. It long lasting dry down is a soft gentle Oud with a touch of rose. Very complex and intense in the best way possible ★★★★★

Trab

I absolutely love this fragrance – the opening is phenomenal, the dry down is smooth – it’s turns into my favourite oriental fragrance – unfortunately is the price a bit too high for my pockets and becomes this only a fragrance for “very” special occasions or I have to replace it by a perfume oil

UdayLalan

This is an amazing oriental. Spells
class and sophistication. But after 3
hours the florals burn out and what
remains is oud, amber with little bit
of patchouli. The opening is grand.
Dry down is not entirely disappointing.

rbalkris

A super refined woody Oriental scent that radiates delicate positive energy. The perfume opens brightly with citrusy herbal notes of lemon, chamomile, sage, saffron and tagetes. The heart is a delicate floral rose, jasmine and magnolia. It settles into a gorgeous powdery base of oud, patchouli and amber. The unisex perfume has moderate to strong sillage, subtle projection, and extremely good lasting power. Such lovely blending, so elegant and classy, just like a sparkling blue sapphire. My favorite from the superb house of Boadicea. Enjoy!

obenno

The opening is absolutely incredible. A fresh, sophisticated oud that just screams class. However the dry down is far from it. Screechy and boring. Along with the outrageous price tag this is an easy pass. If only that opening stuck around I would be sold.

215alive

This has a gorgeous opening! There's citrus, florals (incl. magnolia). It really is beautiful for the first hour or so.

BUT...

unfortunately it dries down to a Montale-ish faux, cypriol oil oud/rose. That's it.

It's disappointing in my opinion. You think you're getting a change-of pace oud/floral with a juicy twist... only to find out that it smells like an $800 Montale.

picknenders

Well, nothing bad to say here! This is opulent. The blue bottle alone will have you convinced that you're getting something special. The smell is unique and intriguing. While most are captured by warm/vanilliac/resinous smells, this captures me with its tartness. The oud/floral contrast is just that: warm and cold at the same time. The outcome is a unisex beast that doesn't play favorites to individual notes. I find this to be a great formal fragrance (and for the price, you'd better limit yourself to special occasions!) - I think this is a big winner from the house and I'm excited to explore further their offerings.

Christian Provenzano strikes again. I fell in love with his perfumes since Clive Christian C. BtV Blue Sapphire is an absolute beast in projection and longevity. For some reason I get notes of sweet myrrh in the dry down. Must be the agar wood and the amber.

Scent: 9/10
Longevity: 10/10
Sillage: 10/10

Absolutely superb fragrance. Not a blind buy as it is not for everyone but definitely worth testing. Smell it, like it, buy it wear it.

Bbjr

A stunning masterpiece and nothing like the bottle of Aramis Calligraphy that I've had and sold. Yes, there's oud here but it's nothing overpowering. The rest of the notes balance this perfectly. It smells somewhat similar to Armaf Shades Wood but much much smoother and lasts forever.

noora18030

masterpiece, very very very long lasting.
it has unique setting on every skin.
heavy and powerful chemistry

my way of wearing it, mix it with Chanel COCO Mademoiselle.

Q80

Lemon, honey, chamomile, citrus, sage, soapy note, and sour grapefruit. The blend gives the impression of slight red roses, bland patchouli, and minimized amber with a tiny bit of jasmines, but the conquered notes are the citrus and the white floral.

Nice balanced combination but too overpriced (600+ Euro).

Edit (23rd July 2017) The colder it goes the more chamomile it gets. This is not a rose oud fragrance! it's sage, chamomile, slight saffron, amber, cedar and citrus. Doesn't worth it's price tag unfortunately, my opinion MAX 100 Euro. Only if there is a MEH button.

Salem95

Masterpiece

Igadiz

Very nice bottle but Sadly, it is a Straight 100% unashamed copy of Aramis Calligraphy.

TheScentConnoisseur

I'm surprise how a perfumer can claim to be the creating nose behind this fragrance when is an straight copy 100% of the Aramis Callygraphy. Is a shame for perfumery to have such perfumers in the industry that only copy & not even create nothing. Why to pay 600€ for this perfumer when you have the original scent for 100€. I'm sure the brand BDV has been cheated by the perfumer.

Houdini4

Amazing!!!

For me Provenzano rewrites the Oud/Rose book here with Blue Sapphire.
This fragrance is quite simiply stunning. Why am I not surprised that this nose is responsible for many of the recent Boadicea line as well as Clive Christian C for Men.
He's done something here which is akin to Amouage and the take on roses displayed in Lyric. It's a light touch which lets the ingredients tell their own story in a very understated way. I say understated, the strength and projection on Blue sapphire is massive for the first couple of hours then dying back to a lovely skin scent.

Opens with quite possibly the stickiest, jammiest, rose tinted, candied effect I think I've ever encountered. This opening is somehow fresh too, as is the rest of the fragrance, still warm but not stuffy and constantly invigorating. It reminds me of tropical fruits as well and even a touch of Bella Bellisima White Leather. Having said that it never tips over into the cloying, Blue Sapphire is perfectly balanced, I have a suspicion this is what heaven smells like.
Deep Amber warmth in the base, can't say I can smell patchouli at all in here and there's hints of magic which I'd be a fool to try to describe.

Two things which could be conceived as negative...
1) The price. I'm certainly not going to be splashing out on this anytime soon.
2) Also could be perceived as feminine, because it is... VERY FEMININE. I actually don't care about that because it smells so good.

The drydown may also be reminiscent of some more common fem-fare but that's generally because you've already journeyed as far as you can and the vibrancy of that opening is a distant memory.

Bravo Boadicea you've done it again!

Shibor

A nice fragrance with dominant green notes. I can smell at the beginning oudy notes which then settle down and become only slightly detectable. Amber and wooods become more prominent, green notes remain all the time.
Longevity is very remarkable as the scent is good detectable on my sleeve four weeks after applying.

Chaz1

Very nice unique scent. Slightly sweet citrus and blue cotton candy top note with a nice woodsy and smoke dry down. Top Shelf Fragrance.
