Yes I Am by Cacharel is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Yes I Am was launched in 2018. Yes I Am was created by Honorine Blanc and Christophe Raynaud. Top notes are Raspberry, Mandarin Orange, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Gardenia, Ginger flower, Amber, Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Rose; base notes are Milk, Caramel, Vanilla, Cardamom, Licorice, Coumarin, Benzoin, Sandalwood and Amberwood.

Cacharel launches its brand new fragrance for women called Yes I Am, announced as a strong aspirational portrait of femininity. Yes I Am comes in a black smoky finished quilted glass bottle designed to reminiscent a lipstick, as “the most iconic object of a woman”.

The juice promises to be a sensual and modern oriental-spicy one. Fruity top notes include mandarin zest and sweet raspberry. The heart develops with white floral accords (Ginger Flower, Jasmine, Gardenia) and amber on a spicy and creamy agreement of notes that forms the base (Milk, Sandalwood, Cardamom).

Cacharel Yes I Am is available as of March 2018 in a heavy glass bottle with dirty pink juice as a 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Smells fruity, smooth and sweet. It is quite a soft smell. Feels young and light-hearted. I imagine teenage girls/ girls in their early 20s would enjoy wearing it. Personally (and taking into account that I am in my mid 30s), I prefer sweet perfumes that feel heavier.

Mysticmiah1970

Sweet creamy and fruity
God I love this perfume
I smell raspberry and orange in the opening with some other fruits
Middle notes I get the creaminess with the florals and sweetness jasmine and gardenia stand out to me mmm mmm mmm love it

goldensolhour

Blind-bought it, sometimes it smells well-balanced and interesting, and sometimes feels like just some hair products.. the lactone notes is a bit nauseating to me

Camiladuarteo

This is GREAT, honestly. It is not super sweet, it has a hint of freshness on it. Love it.

vowsandperfumes

I ADORE THIS!!!!! Whenever I use this I just feel so sexy and confident. This is a beautiful creamy, soft spicy scent bursting with raspberries, caramel, vanilla and its lactonic qualities closely resemble the smell of sweet condensed milk and its florals blend in seamlessly to support these. I'm not someone who leans towards fruity perfumes but this one just feels perfect. It is beautifully sweet and fruity without feeling juvenile and I can see a very ample age range wearing this. It has become one of my favorites and I'm simply in love.

Mhka2004

PERFECT!!! creamy with fruity very good mix. A very good blind buy I recommend to people who like sweet and creamy fragrances.

Augustarina

This one is a disappointment. I can only smell two things - caramel and mint. If there's no mint in this scent then it might be ginger, not sure.Regardless, it doesn't work on my skin at all.

Unefille

I just got it and I love it.It definitely reminds me
Of Sol de Janeiro and Rihanna’s Rogue love ! For me it’s a summer ,sexy ,warm and delicious scent

bowbonita

This smells so much like a hair product to me and i'm here for it

Aein

One of my favorite fragrances ever in one of my favorite packaging designs for a perfume.

Yes I Am is raspberry and caramel heaven. Extremely sweet and creamy. I do wish it lasted longer but I love the fragrance so much that I’m happy to carry it with me and apply it again during the time I’m out.

I wouldn’t recommend using it in extreme heat, but I really enjoy it in lower temperatures.

SmellsJustLike

I like it but it smells like Starbucks! Fruity frappe and chai lattes … that’s not a bad thing but I don’t think it’s for me. However I love the bottle! Very chic. This would be perfect for clubbing or vacations. It’s powerful but not cloying. I like it and it makes me happy but not enough to be my signature im afraid

Akesuts

Girly, fruity, flirty and not cloying. Quite a happy and versatile scent, easy to wear in the daytime. To me it smells like fruit punch, or frozen forest berries. Forrest berries punch at the beginning, then forest berries and vanilla ice cream towards the end. Silage could be better but I do not mind it sits closer to skin. The biggest downside for me is that it does not last much.

Pari88

I will say this, bless the internet and the vastness that social media has encompassed over the last three years because the noses with the best taste are quite popular now and their recommendations have been spot on.

This!! This little lipstick cheapie is the most delicious Kashmiri chai grape Rooh afza concoction.

I have never smelled anything like it EXCEPT it has my beloved discontinued Amour Indian Holi base lingering always in the background. It is a colorful fruity milky chai perfect for spring fall or winter, although I am convinced it will shine the brightest in spring and early fall.

You can smell the spices which gives it the classic chai smell, then the milky fruitiness of Kashmiri chai, a slight smokiness, and mixed with the fruity floral syrup that is Rooh Afza giving it the similarity to Indian Holi- and yes, it is very much reminiscent of a colorful Holi celebration.

Perfect for casual day use or a casual night out dancing. The most perfect blend of cozy fun and bright.

It is not “lactonic”, or a citrus green tea nor a black tea nor a straight up warm chai, it’s something you wait in line for at the exclusive cafe that just opened up.

Something about it is as unique as Lolita Lempicka, and kind of slightly smells like it, even the lingering memory effect it has.

One of a kind although it does smell like someone mixed bonds Chinatown with Indian Holi and added extra sugar.

The one thing I hate is the bottle…it does not match the fragrance at all

I am in love with this fun delicious guilty pleasure.

andreazapatamar

rinrinlovesrinrin

oh my goodness, this is my type of airport fragrance. i've been wearing this to bed, and it's definitely a traveling, wanderlust perfume and i'm not really sure if i make any sense when i describe certain fragrances to be "airport perfumes" but when you smell them, you'll understand. immediately what my nose picked up on, upon first spray at least, was one of the earlier tease formulations from victoria's secret which is a perfume that was a favorite of mine because of its raunchy femininity. this has the same type of scent but dries down to a much creamier and gourmand type of perfume while tease (earlier formulation) is sharp and a bit spicy and raunchy floral and flirty. the shape of the bottle is freakin gorgeous but it is not a lipstick fragrance! no waxy or powdery lipstick vibes but definitely romantic and flirtatious and quite elegant but elegant in the way that i can wear because you know how with elegant perfumes, there is such thing as being too elegant (for me 😅) and i don't tend to gravitate towards the super ladylike fragrances except maybe a delicate spicy floral but this is just right. 💄💝

the opening definitely has those sharper and brighter notes of raspberry and bergamot and the drydown definitely has the milk and caramel and sandalwood goodness. kinda want to try some of the flankers now, especially pink first and glorious. would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes sweet perfumes. it's got a sort of doll vibe also that i like. oh and the bottle does not put me off one bit, in fact it adds to the appeal of this flirty and kitschy perfume

Love it! This scent makes me happy. Bought it blindly influenced by some reviews on youtube, and I'm so glad I did!
Btw, in one of the videos, this girl was making her boyfriend blind smell some perfumes and rating them. He rated it a 10/10. Sexy, spicy, delicious. He didn't know which perfume it was until later. Many other niche brand perfumes, that cost 10 times this one were left out or ranked lower. This is the cheap, nice gourmand sexy perfume I was looking for.
Not overly sweet, ideal for a night out or date. Recommend.
NOTE! Also...to those people talking about the tacky bottle...I just can say...I prefer this bottle than those awful shoe bottles from Carolina herrera perfumes for sure. And I don't like those scents either. And they cost much more. Just saying.

Jacquis

I am privileged to own the first few releases in this line of Yes I Am. I enjoy their light delicate creamy nature. However, I am hoping that later releases got a bit easier to spray. These small spritz of fragrance from a cute but awkward bottle, limits how often I use these perfumes. I gifted them to my kids but still have to help them with the sprayer. I have to spray 10-15 times to even smell the damn thing. Annoying. Here's hoping that the sprayer got better with later releases.

Ella_bayliss

I’m a fan of sweet gourmand scents, so I was surprised that I didn’t like this fragrance. It was sweet in a bubblegumy way kind of way which is far too overpowering. In my opinion this scent is just too sickly and almost childish, which I wasn’t expecting. The warm spicy notes came out to me only slightly, in an unpleasant medical way. I don’t hate this, it’s ok, just not worth my money.

Sapere_Aude

Proof that lost cherry is a waste of money. I am very aware there is no cherry note listed but the overall effect is the same imo. It's wonderful because it's so cheap, as where lost cherry is great too but it doesn't command the price they want for it. Maybe I'm biased because I love gourmand and lactonic scents but this thing is just magic in a bottle, I don't even want to wear it because I'm getting married soon and want to wear it on our honeymoon :)

Rehderja

Definitely more feminine. Reminds me of Rihanna’s perfumes. But it’s a very addictive scent. Definitely get the licorice vibe.

Raindrop_Lily

This really is a beautifully blended, sexy, spicy, creamy perfume!!
I didn’t buy a full bottle yet… I have a purse-size bottle.
I just haven’t worn it that often. I’m not sure why.
I live in FL so I really need to wear this now while weather still allows. I’m sure on a warm night this would choke me out.
Actually I’m going to a New Yr Eve get together, it will be cold out, so it’ll be perfect.
Discochiq said, it reminds her of Lana Del Rey. I’m a huge Lana fan.
So actually, I’m planning on spraying this on after my shower tonight… maybe LOL depends on my mood.

Diamiadan

Selling my bottle. Dm me ❄️

Galaxie Girl

I bought a purse sized spray of this on a whim, and boy, do I LOVE it! It smells like fresh baked apple pie with ginger! That's really the lot of it; I see it's got lots of notes, but honestly, the scent isn't super complex and, sadly, it doesn't last very long. Having the purse spray is nice so I can reapply. I'd still highly recommend it, though, because it smells delicious!

discochiq

I tested this in store and I'm still mad I didnt get it! It was suggested to me by a lady at a boutique counter, after I told her about Julliette Has a Gun with a scent thats supposed to smell like a red lip/lipstick and she IMMEDIATELY understood the assignment. I was surprised to see people disliking the bottle so much, it represents the scent perfectly! Super seductive and classy scent, would be perfect for a date night. Smelling this reminds me of Lana Del Rey in the best way lol

cl195238

This smells unexpectedly good to me, because I'll be honest I was expecting to dislike it just based on the lipstick bottle. It's fruity, herbal and creamy on the skin. I wouldn't say the raspberry is distinctively raspberry- more of a general red berry, almost cherry note to my nose (edit: okay other people are getting cherry too, so that’s not just me).

I love that I can pick up on cardamom, ginger, and milk- the effect is like a fruity cardamom tea latte. The notes in this whole Yes I Am line give me "fancy, milky beverage" vibes, which is one of my favorite imaginary categories of smells (and IMO wholly unrelated to lipstick). I can't wait to try the flankers!

Sarra816

This smells so divine, its one of my go to scents now that it is Winter.
It is addictive and spicy -- smells absolutely sexy

It is creamy and spicy with a hint of sweetness from the berries in here. I just adore the clove note and it does smell like licorice a bit.

This one is a compliment getter. I must say I wish the bottle design was different, this is up there with the Good Girl tacky heel design.

s2jkbrad

There's almost something medicinal to it,like licorice. I thought I didn't like this one, but I do. There's something addictive to it. Raspberries and sweet on top with a licorice/clove like scent and it hasn't dried down yet. So far it's a strong like/love to me.

luna k

Raspberries, sweetened condensed milk, gardenia, cardamom, licorice and a tiny amount of coffee which does not sound like accords that would go together but somehow work. Musk isn't listed as a note but I'm getting musk or something with a similar profile.

Yes I Am is delicious in a flavor-enhanced food kind of way, like a favorite salty casserole made with canned soup. You know it's not culinary school approved but it's still delicious and you can't get it to taste the same without the monosodium glutamate augment. I can't help but think there is a tiny bit of something savory about Yes I Am. Umami.

I don't know what they add to make me keep smelling my wrist but it's in there. Hits the dopamine receptors just so, you can almost feel on heightened alert or your pupils dilate in response. Addictive in the same way that Gucci Rush or Lou Lou are even though they are nothing alike. Something about Yes I Am is never completely satiating so my primitive brain centers say gimme gimme more Cookie Monster style. Olfactory MSG. 7/10

Update: I'm getting musk in this but it's not listed as a note.

Shalom8209

I’m curious about the reviews stating it smells like grapes. On me, it’s a milky white floral. Contrary to the A.I in the ‘cons’ section, I wouldn’t say the bottle looks like a ‘chavvy dildo’ either. I’m not much of a packaging person, and the bottle does look tacky in photographs, but it’s very cute in person— better than having a literal shoe on your vanity table, at the very least.

It’s worth purchasing if you like scents like Alien, Don’t Be Shy, or Libre Intense, because it has that same gourmandy, vanilla orange blossom/jasmine scent to it. If you don’t then I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this, unless you happen to be one of those people it smells like grape on, and that’s something you’re into. I’d say it lasts about six hours maximum.

Yessamin

The first spicy creamy fragrance by Cacharel.

An ultra daring accord of cream and spices revealing a heart of sexy white flowers heightening an empowering top of zesty notes.

Un acorde cremoso y picante, muy audaz, que revela un corazón floral, sexy, intensificado con notas chispeantes ácidas.

Smonalisa

Smells cheap. The dry down is just a sour grape note. Guy I was with liked it. But it's not the dreamy, lactonic spice that people on YouTube have been saying. Mind you it's rainy and cold outside here. Maybe it will do something different on a warm sunny day. Got it for cheap so may give it a chance.

Dani91

I'm surprised no one has mentioned how the drown down of this smells lime La Belle by Gaultier! Initially in first spray it doesn't because you get the spiciness but that fades fast! Then you get a sweet jammy fragrance that is reminiscent of La Belle to me! Performance is average. Not super weak bit nor going to last all day. It's a cute little bottle that can easily go in your purse to reapply.

Ms_Meghan

This perfume smells completely different on everyone on my experience. On my sister it's got a strong caramel milky scent, my mom it's straight up grape crush and on me it's a spicy, sweet, creamy scent. To me it's as if D&G Femme and Alien had a gorgeous love child that was raised by a glamorous drag queen. I know it's not for everyone, but I adore it.

m0userella

Sweet unlike other gourmands. Unlike typical sweet scents, this fragrance smells like hard candy, a rare scent in the perfume world imo. Most candy gourmands smell of marshmallow, cotton candy, chocolate, cake or vanilla. We don't get many hard candy scents. Yes I Am's aroma is akin to a blue raspberry lollipop, and I find it absolutely delicious. While some may label it as a generic scent, I strongly disagree because I have never encountered anything quite like it. Although there is a plethora of sweet fragrances available, this one stands out in its own way.

When my boyfriend first smelled it, it triggered memories of unwrapping a particular toy. Although we couldn't pinpoint the exact toy it resembles, it's fascinating how both of us immediately associated it with a toy. Beyond its delectable scent, the perfume also carries a nostalgic charm.

Juicy couture - gold couture vibe fragrance

Rosemary14

Welcome to the over hyped fragrance market. I tried to like this I really did, but this is the most generic fragrance I own. Raspberry where? It just smells mildly sweet and a little lactonic. The end. This is so lackluster and barely there (I put probably 20 sprays on) that I’m wondering if there is something wrong with it. Or something I can’t smell. Or that famous YouTuber was paid to pedal this.

MoreScentsThanDollars

I wasn't fond of this a few years ago but now I'm liking it, maybe as the bottle gets older it's improved or my taste change, I'm not sure but I appreciate it more than I previously did.
I'd not write home about it but I do enjoy the notes.
Only thing I will say as in my previous review is, don't pay too much for it.

indie0385

Unfortunately, I don't get any vanilla, which I love. This starts out sickly sweet on me, and then after drying down weirdly smells like a grape soda.

nikxx

cheiro normal, nada demais. é doce e chega a ser até meio infantil de tão sem graça.

hotbaby1

Generic boring scent. I can’t smell any of the notes. You just smell like you are clean. No lasting power, no projection. My friend had to put her nose to my neck to smell this. I would not recommend spending your bucks on it, but if you have to use it, its better for summer time being so light.

Silverbell

It's like a god damn drug. Smells soooo good on everyone. I mostly smell the milk, cardamom and caramel. Such a good warm spicy and sugary perfume. Longevity is good too in my opinion, about 5-6 hours. If you are thinking about buying it, do it! It's such a nice perfume for a great value!

PerfumeDeeva

After having this on my radar for a few weeks, I finally grabbed it! Yes I Am is definitely a bit of a sweet enigma. This scent has such a pastel distinction. The amber, benzoin, milk & caramel notes stick out the most to me. I paired this frag with some spritzes of Honey I Washed The Kids & Choco Musk…. for a Gourmand-head it was intoxicating in the best way.

AbbyLaRue

This smells just like Gain laundry detergent and a really sweet, vaguely fruity syrup. Not as complex as some others have described, but still pretty. I tested this at the same time I tested a couple of the Sugarful perfumes, and this one was so sweet I kept mistaking the test strip for one of the Sugarful ones. If you’re looking for a more mature fragrance, I’d recommend the Cacharel lipstick perfume in the nude bottle. This has moderate sillage and longevity, I feel like it could use an extra note or two for some added depth though. An espresso note or possibly patchouli could really elevate it.

Nancy Bella

YES I AM it's a complex fragance, there is so much going on. I got this perfume today, blind buy, because I liked the bottle and based on the reviews. Even when I recognice some of the notes I dont get caramel or Raspberry... Just did 5 sprays. Tomorrow I will give it a try again and will do more sprays. So far I like it, but it did not give me the wow effect.

Lets see if it gets better

Linda_80

I really like this perfume.
It smells amazing, and lasts an eternity in my skin, without changing too much.
Wonderful caramel perfume🤎

The13thHour

I am not a huge fan of this perfume. It has a lot of complex notes and it's going to smell different on everyone. It smells good in the air and on other people but on me it's a different story. I was hoping that licorice note would stand out slightly but it settles down on my skin in a very strange way. There's to much going on. It's like the scent notes are fighting with each other. It's not for me sadly :

pinotos802

Sexy and sweet! I wouldn't classify this as a gourmand fragrance though? When I smell it I think of a caramel latte macchiato with a ton of whipping cream and next to it a freshly squeezed sweet orange juice. I get great longevity and sillage.

Cherubina

Sexy.

tia t

I wouldn't say its a dupe but it reminds me a little of Prada candy gloss but a cheaper quality version

I wanted to like it for the sake of the cute bottle but I couldn't bring myself to buy it for the Australian price. the first blast is like lemon but upon reading the notes I realise its actually ginger as well, which I normally love.

I love fruity and sweet fragrances but strangely had to pass on this one which is a shame as all this notes are usually what I go for. I will possibly try again in future if I run into but highly unlikely

MeditativeRose

Why does Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy Gold Couture has more downvotes than upvotes in the 'reminds me of' section for Chacherel Yes I Am?! They are not just in the same family, they are identical twins! Thank goodness I only got a sample as I have Gold Couture. The only difference in this is that the dry down is a bit sweeter in comparison. Otherwise though, the longevity, sillage and the blend is all better with GC. You only need one of the two and my money will happily be with GC any day.

CJMWages

Mouth watering

Sweetandlightgal

I smell patchouli in this. It's not listed and I'm sad because I hate patchouli and I think this would be a nice fragrance otherwise. I think the bottle is charming but I most likely won't wear this because of the sharpness from the patchouli.

KimberMoon

This is straight up 100% grape Tootsie Pop on my skin. Sweet and candy-like. Great for sundress and sandal or t shirt and shorts days. Easy grab when you don't want to sign up for a heady, middle-eastern frag, or waste sprays of one of your pricier favorites. I'd say it's youthful, but I don't really buy into age appropriateness when it comes to fragrance. I guess I'll say if you're the type who does factor that in, it is youthful.

suzanne_ronald

Sticky Sweet RED-BERRY PAVLOVA. Let's start with the bottle, which has an excellent sprayer, but it's kinda gimmick-y - love it or hate it. It's better in the 30mL size for a purse spray, but the 100mL will look cheap on your perfume shelf. Opens with a sweet burst of red-fruit with raspberry & citrus tones, that deepens into the white-floral heart with fluffy, creamy, sweet, soft-spicy & near-grape tones, all resting on a creamy caramel base with licorice & almond-cherry tones from tonka. Jasmine is more forward here than the notes would suggest, bringing near-grape & licorice tones. There is also a faint but pleasant clean laundry note in there, coming from the orange-blossom. Altogether I get a full-bodied red-berry amber-floral that is nearly a gourmand, with a creaminess that reminds me of the crunchy, sticky baked meringue shell in Pavlova. This is so close to a gourmand IMHO that most will consider it one. Has excellent performance and a scent profile that could be worn year round but together with strong performance I would be more likely to wear it in fall & winter.

Contrast to My Only Wish La Rive:
This is a dupe with a good approximation of Yes I Am, only it has much lighter performance that works well in summer. However, the performance is improved with dark storage following first sprays.

Overall: Beautiful red-berry gourmand-ish scent profile with excellent performance. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

MiraScents

One of my favourite perfumes! I just bought my third bottle. This scent is comforting, soft and sweet. Works well with my body chemistry. I usually use this at the evenings, after shower, when im at home. It makes me feel comfy and safe. At first i wasn't so into this bottle design, but now i kinda like it. Scent itself is addicting, little spicy, milky, sweet, rasberry note is noticeable and it adds little sourness which breaks the sweetness nicely.

Saffron pink

This is pleasant. It’s sweet, fruity (grape really) and yea I would think cloying if oversprayed. It’s an easy reach for a casual evening. The bottle is hideous. If I was to go ahead and buy it I will hide the bottle as it makes me cringe, however if I like the fragrance I’m not going to be a total snob about it.
We all just want to smell nice in the end.

moneyistheanthem

This wasn't *quite* what I expected, but it's a gorgeous fragrance nonetheless! It started fruity and floral, though I can't say it smelled like gardenia, rose, jasmine, etc. To me it smelled like raspberry, red berries, bergamot, apricot, orange blossom and a bouquet of spring flowers, like V&R Flowerbomb (but toned down). It smelled very feminine, but not exactly girly.

After a few minutes, I got the caramel and vanilla notes, as well as patchouli, though it's not listed. It also got more amber-y as time went on. Now that a few hours have passed, I would say it's a raspberry-caramel-patchouli-amber-bergamot perfume on me. It has a warmth to it that makes it feel sultry, which I really like. The bottle is absolutely hideous so I don't know if I'll ever buy a full size (I'm testing a sample), but if the bottle was more to my taste I'd put this straight into my birthday wishlist!

_hypnotic_

Nice fun bubbly scent, excellent projection, wish i could find a mens perfume with projection like this.

Fashionplatefanny

So I should have know that it was going to be pretty generic since most people love it. I think I smell this suffocating fragrance everywhere I go so I am disappointed with my blind buy.
It’s a cool weather fragrance as it’s sticky, sickly and very cloying so it will be an oversprayers dream! But please don’t over spray this one, there’s no need!!!
It smells like a men’s freshy with an overlay of sticky, sweet, generic blah! The bottle is tacky.
I don’t know, it just smells like every teenager and older woman trying to cover up the cigarette stink stuck to their hair and clothes!. It’s not a love from me.
I don’t get any liquorice which is a shame, it is lactonic and sweet, it does not smell like BS Prerogative. I guess it’s one that you wear when you don’t know what else to put on or if you’re hanging around the house & not wanting to waste your loved fragrances.

Morgan45

I found 30ml bottles of this on the magical Shoppers Drug Mart $22 shelf so, in spite of the fact that I'm firmly on team "Hate the Lipstick Bottle", I blind-bought it. As some other reviewers have mentioned, it smells a little grapey, but I don't get the licorice as much. This is a nice scent but it does verge on cloying for me, even when sprayed conservatively. I reminds me a bit of Givenchy Irresistible, even thought they share almost no notes. It's nice enough, I will wear it from time to time, but 30ml will probably last me the rest of my life.

VirgowithLeo

Only for summer/really hot climate places. Then it breaks down into milky chocolat-y scent after 10 is mins of spraying.
Otherwise, during fall/winter/spring it stays this herb-y type of scent

Kyla12

I LOVE the bottle & the scent! 10/10 for me.
A must have in my collection! I love licorice notes & laconic perfumes.

First spray is a punch of candied raspberries and orange, followed by a creamy licorice and then after 10 mins, transforms into a delicious cakey, fruity caramel that you just want to snuggle up to.
This perfume actually stopped me in my tracks at the airport - I slowed down and said “what smells like vanilla cake?” I searched and found it, so glad I did.
It is one of my new favorites and will definitely stay a signature for a long time.
The perfect sweet perfume that is not cloying and that EVERYONE loves!! ❤️
Sorry to say it, but I also love the bottle, even though it is a bit juvenile it is still fun and practical. A good grip and an easy nozzle to spray.

PKSMKE

I wore Yes I Am to bed last night and two things occurred to me: first, if you ignore some of the fruit this is the smell of a newborn on its way home from the hospital, fresh pampers, new onesie and blanket, slightly milky. It reminds me of the smell of being given one of my nieces to hold, when they were first born. Second, the scent is right on the cusp of being cloying. I just avoids it, and I like Yes I Am, but think that I may avoid wearing it because I sense it could overwhelm.

deems443

I think this smells like Muglers original Alien, not as strong, it’s Alien light. It’s good, if you have this you don’t need to spend the money on Alien, or vice versa

fonty_o

This smells kind of mentholated to me. I am guessing that's the ginger note. It's also the note that is most prominent on my skin. When I first tried this I was really underwhelmed, but now I can't get enough of it!
It smells so damn good, I catch whiffs of myself and think 'geez I smell awesome.'
I don't get much, if any at all of the creaminess that people speak about.
Either way, this smells so good, clean and unique. It smells better the longer it sits, unfortunately it doesn't project or last a long time so I tend to really overspray it.

Give it a go!

Printeza7

Love it!!!! Sweet Dolce Yummy..... in love ❤️

Scented12U

At first I didn’t care for this too much. It’s odd how you can revisit a scent that you weren’t fond of at first , then fall in love with it. I guess I didn’t appreciate it for what it was, but NOW. I really love it.

LanaDelSlay

The packaging is so childish but the scent is pretty and cute i love it

jeanette123

I am interested in this fragrance , but that bottle is a big no to me.

AnlisaC

Yes I Am is a beautiful designer fragrance which is such an excellent find. I have both niche and designer so for what it’s worth I think after 30 years of collecting fragrances I kinda know what good on me and what’s not. I love this type of spicy vanilla. Being a lover of cardamom and licorice this is right up my alley. It’s smells amazing and the lasting power is also very good. FYI, I over spray. If you like a great unusual vanilla with some spice. Highly recommeded 9/10

I’m sick of all the negative reviews here on Fragranctica it starts to get annoying….it’s like nobody has anything nice to say in this world! Sorry had to vent!!!!

Guccigoblin

So flirty and fun, it makes me think of Lost Cherry but without the booze and loads of sugar. So, her younger sister? It's fruity, sweet, spicy and creamy. Just barely over the top. Like sprinkles on a cookie

morphoevgenia

I absolutely LOVE this. The first moment I smelt it from the tester I couldn’t imagine it is real. I don’t pick up individual notes, it is well-rounded, voluptuous fragrance. It is fruity, spiced and lactonic. I love it, my family loves it, colleagues love it, it is a crowd-pleaser. Casual wear.

Unfortunately, doesn’t last even 4 hours on me, need to respray it. And I hate the bottle. However, cannot imagine not having it.

Yes Malena

Bergamot, white florals, boozy vanilla, ginger sweet bite, slightly tangy cardamom. Don't get milk, nor licorice. Fruit comes out later on me, oddly. Dusty benzoin, fuzzy tonka, crumbly amber. I love this stuff.

JamieSmells

This is not a long lasting perfume, I say about 4 hours. It does smell very nice and for the price its not bad. I can smell the berries for sure and vanilla. You can wear this all year even in the summer I think because of the berry note.

Paola Bianka

I will be on my 4th bottle with this one. Saying that I LOVE this is an understatement. This is all about raspberry, caramel, vanilla, and orange blossom, with a touch of licorice. Incredibly sweet and lactonic! 😍 One thing I wish though is for it to last longer on skin. I spray this more on clothes because I notice it lasts longer there. Decent projection. I thought it stayed super close to the skin, but I have received compliments from the people I work with, so it does project even after a few hours of wear. One of my favorites in my entire collection! ❤️

LeChemiste

Sweet, lactonic, versatile scent! It even has a certain minty aspect that works well with the overall sweetness. I love it as an everyday scent, something office-appropriate since it does not project super strong. Great one to have if you love sugary scents.

eronf

This is what I imagine Regina George would smell like.

noodlehead19

sweet and spicy milk with fruit flavoring. the licorice SCREECHES over everything else and honestly it's hard for me to handle. I can understand why someone would really like this, but the mixture of notes just don't work for me. lasts pretty well especially on my pulse points & projects about to arm's length, but I don't see myself even wearing it. it is a good bargain, but in this case I definitely think you get what you pay for.

Red Jaguar

Initial blast is strong, warm spicy raspberry. It quickly goes into licorice and at that point I started to fear that this would be too cloying for me. But after maybe another 5 minutes or so, it relaxes a little. I get the raspberry, licorice and there is something menthol or spearmint like when I smell on my skin up close. It comes on strong but doesnt last long. Also it stays mostly the same throughout. The licorice just gets more prominent. I'm enjoying this one, but likely wont repurchase. I prefer hypnotic poison if I'm going for this type of scent. Cute bottle and great price.

qinny

Really enjoyed this perfume! It is a creamy, jasmine with spice. It is quite sweet but perfect for the cold weather because that's when the spice really comes out. Not your basic vanilla at all. I can smell all the beautiful middle and base notes (though I can't really smell the milk). In the beginning, there is almost a "menthol" and "licorice" smell but that just brightens up the sweetness in my opinion.
Edit: after testing multiple perfumes, I must say, I prefer this over some designer perfumes out there. This does not smell cheap at all and doesn't give me a headache, which most perfumes do.

viktorijavla

First of all, what a tacky bottle! The start is beautiful, fresh and sweet, but the drydown is just sickeningly sweet.
Overall, great perfume for a friendly price, but you have to love sweet fragrances. Doesn't smell cheap.

SaltyVanilla

This perfume is so good and so affordable it blows my mind. I love this fragrance. It starts off with a juicy, tart raspberry and lemon note that almost makes your mouth water. That doesn’t last long but it develops into this cardamom, caramel, lactonic, woody, vanillic dream of a scent. It’s rich, it’s sweet, it’s smooth, it’s sexy, it’s gourmand, it’s a little mysterious with the cardamom, ginger, and tiny touch of licorice. My only complaints are that I wish it lasted longer on me, it’s about a 4 hour scent for me. But the scent is amazing so I don’t mind having to respray, and for the price point it’s really not a huge deal. Bonus, when you respray you can experience the opening again. And my other minor complaint is that the atomizer on these bottles is not very good, you have to spray twice to get the amount any other full bottle atomizer provides. However, for for this absolutely beautiful scent, I am happy to spray my atomizer double.

Kittenje

I smelled this and instantly was reminded of less complex Lolita Lempicka. I get strong notes of licorice mixed with a gourmand/creaminess to it and a lesser amount of florals. I find the berry smell fades quick which I prefer because I don't usually like fruity perfumes. I think this is one of those scents that you need to spray on and give it a few minutes to settle in. It is such a warm, cozy, sweater-weather scent. I wouldn't say it's very strong, but I personally don't like strong scents. I like something that sits close to the skin. This perfume feels cozy and snug. To me it smells more expensive than it is... something that you want to smell again because of the layers of scents like Lolita or Alien. If they aren't in the budget, this might be a contender for you! I don't think I'd have the same reaction to this in the summer/spring. To me it's too rich and warm - it's a snuggle in front of the fireplace with a warm caramel latte and raspberry cheesecake kind of scent.

B311an

The opening is a beautiful and strong raspberry with a hint of lemon, I’d low key wish it’d stay like that for a longer time. After about an hour it dries down to more laconic spicy vanilla with woody notes. 7/10!

gmstrack

So close!! The gourmand part of Yes I Am is really nice, especially considering the price point. This is sweet, warm, and milky. The cardamom is prominent, which is a plus for me. I'm getting sweet, spiced tea late with milky cardamom dessert--so delicious. But then, there is the part that ruins everything--cold, screechy, perfume-y, floral notes, that are as prominent as the gourmand notes, turn the fragrance into a disappointment. Imagine, you are enjoying a delicious caramel ice cream with spices and then someone walks in and dumps a bottle of White Shoulders onto your dessert.

Overall, I would still recommend this perfume because I am very picky about floral notes/accords in fragrances. It is very good for the price point. I'm looking forward to trying Yes I am Delicious.

4/5

Ardenia

I can't smell any spices or caramel. To me it smells like synthetic raspberry with a hint of lemon in the beginning. Cough syrup, or a raspberry flavored yogurt for kids. Meh.

LiliiiS

I wanted to try Cacharel yes I am for a long time because I love almost all the notes listed here. finally I ordered it's sample with a bunch of other samples expecting a caramelized raspberry scent. unfortunately it was a huge dissapointment eventhough it's pleasant and I like it. the problem is that it's nothing like my imaginations and there are a lot of other perfumes which smell very similar.
I can't detect any raspberry or any berries here.the most dominant notes on me are orange and ginger in the opening and orange flower and vanilla afterwards.the first second is a bit medicinal but then, there's a nice and sweet spicy/gingery orange followed by orange flower and vanilla. there's also some caramel but just a touch of it and I won't call this scent milky either. just a warm and well rounded vanilla-floral with a touch of orange.it's yummy but not as delicious as I expected.
the opening is like a child of Armani Code and Black Opium and the drydown is like a child of Armani Code and Cacharel Amor Amor.oh and yes, there's a touch of Viva la Juicy Gold here too. it also reminded me of Cacharel Amor Amor Forbidden Kiss minus the coffee note. don't get me wrong. Cacharel Yes I am is warm and cozy and sweet but not too sweet and I really enjoy smelling it. I love Armani Code and I like Black Opium and Cacharel Amor Amor Forbidden Kiss so no wonder there. I just don't want another dupe for some of my favorite perfumes with less longevity and sillage. I want something new and this ain't it which is a shame because I really like it's cute bottle. it can be a nice option to buy as a gift though

Edit:

I still don't detect much berries but I like this perfume now. it smells so delicious. the blend of caramel and milk smells similar to what dolce de leche smells like in some other perfumes with that note and I find it so creamy and delicious. that yummy accord hand in hand with ginger are the most dominant notes on me, the drydown is a soft whisper of white flowers in a milk, caramel base

TheVictorianK

This scent is almost an exact dupe - though a little spicier, for Crybaby by Melanie Martinez!

Creamy, warm, and fruity. I use this as a room spray and it is to die for.

noneya88

My husband doesn't often comment on my fragrances, so if it wasn't for the fact that he likes this one I would declutter it. The opening smells like cough syrup or drops or something you take when you're sick... not something I want to smell like. The dry down is a creamy, berry caramel that I like well enough but don't love. The drydown is good for the price ($30) so if you want something that smells pleasant for cheap it will get the job done. But it's nothing special. It doesn't smell like a cheap fragrance per say but it doesn't smell expensive either. It's just meh. I really am surprised he likes it and kinda wish he didn't, lol.

Starmane1

I don’t know if my nose is broken or what. All I smelled was raspberry. Nothing creamy or spicy at all. And raspberry by itself is not something I’m interested in smelling like. I was so disappointed and thought I got a fake (but it definitely wasn’t).

likesleet

lemony but not lemon. separate from the gourmand vanilla notes. get burnt sugar

SaraZigova

Way too sweet

Sassy1

I'm a little surprised there's no fig note as my initial impression is this is a low volume Halle. Very similar scent profile.

And yes, it also reminds me of the brown Gucci with the touch of root beer.

It's ok. The longevity is lacking as it's a skin scent after about 15-20 minutes.

I'd wear it if gifted but can't see spending $50+ for a fb.

Gyps

It’s like hundreds of other scents around these days. Opens up on me with a blast of citrus then dries down to a generic floral. I get no creaminess or sweetness in the base notes. Becomes a skin scent like body spray. Gone in 20 minutes. Not my cup of tea and thankfully it’s only a sample.

ShelbyKB

I thought this was going to be one level and a cute fruity / gourmand scent after looking at how affordable it is but it's so much more! It's so soothing as weird as that sounds.

You do get that typical fruity blast when first sprayed but it's deep and strong in my opnion! Could smell it on my sweatshirt all through the next day! Immediately as it starts drying down you get the white floral, citrus, and absolutely yummy lactonic vibe that stays with you. I cant really detect any ginger. I do get the gardenia (which I typically hate) but it blends really nicely with the other base notes! It's a gourmand for people who typically dislike gourmands - even though the bottle (that I love btw) looks younger, it leans "mature" in my opinion (wear whatever the F you want at any age, of course)!

For the price this is a no brainer to try! Saw some gift sets at Ross for 19.99 with a full and mini size :)

Beefraglover

A juicy berry smell when first sprayed, the dry down is very creamy, caramel, lactonic and sits very close to the skin. Could maybe be called similar to Wanted Girl by Night from Azzaro. Not exactly the same but a similar vibe. They both have that juice in the beginning and sweet lactonic dry down but wanted girl is stronger and more grapey.

Snifferdoodle

Mmmm okay, so I have had this about a whole year now and feel like I have a pretty good read on it by this point.

This is what I would call a "Happy" fragrance. Definitely not seductive or demure. Just, plain old happy.

It starts off with the scent of Crush Soda in Grape. If fizzy had a smell, somehow, the top notes of this perfume capture it immaculately. Based on this you'd think summer would be perfect time to wear this but I've found that chilly evenings work best. Especially when you're just fresh from a warm bath and getting ready for bed. The dry down on this is the epitome of COZY.

The grape fizz dissipates into a warm lactonic vanilla with a hint of coconut (?). It's intimate and lingers on the skin like a delicate embrace. Generating occasional whiffs everytime you move.

I went from being a solid meh about this to almost cleaning out my bottle once it became colder outside.

This is a solid win 👍

2nd review: This fragrance is utterly creamy and delicious at first , but it does not last on my skin , hair or clothes at all. I get I hope they release an" intense" version of this. I am considering NOT repurchasing due to no longevity. Maybe I can find something to layer it with?

Fatima1219

I blind bought this the other day, it was a gift set with two lotions (?). When I purchased it, I assumed that contained in the gift set were a body lotion and shower gel, I was mistaken. No problem, I will give one of the lotions to my cousin. Anyhow, Yes I Am, is my scent of the day today. I was glad to see it in the store for a nice price because I saw a few positive YouTube video reviews on it, and wanted to try it. It is a fragrance of now. It has the DNA of those perfumes that are quite popular at this time. It has all of the notes that everyone loves at the moment: berries, caramel, and vanilla. To my nose, Yes I Am, is very similar to Mon Guerlain and Guess Noir. Guess Noir is a favorite of mine. I am picking up a coconut note in this fragrance. I was quite surprised to see that coconut is not one of the notes that make up this fragrance. It has a Gardenia note, which I completely adore. I would wear Gardenia-based fragrances everyday if I wasn't a collector, and insist on wearing a different fragrance daily. Also, I find the milk note intriguingly adds a creaminess that is unmistakable. The body lotion has a thicker consistency, which I like; and, it complements the fragrance well. In summary, this is a cool fragrance-- appropriate for day and evening wear. It has great longevity and projects well.

emilydavi

I love this! It's what I wanted Lalique Soleil to smell like on me (I don't get the gourmand notes in that, only vaguely sweet cardamom.) In this, I get lots of orange, lots of caramel, gardenia, some cardamom, and that milk that makes everything very smooth and creamy. It's sweet, but not to sweet and definitely not cloying (on my skin.)

lordbig

Right out of the box, it smelled like cough syrup. So I sprayed it a few more times and let it sit for a week.
Now the cough syrup has disappeared. It is a cozy, fruity caramel scent. Not groundbreaking but not cheap smelling. Mid projection and longevity. Nice casual winter scent, affordable, and the bottle looks awesome

Ambrocia scents

It is a very sweet smokey scent. When i smell it, caramel does not come to mind at all, even when i try to close my eyes n concentrate when i smell it lol. What I think of is a night out, with your friends, but ur with your boyfriend, this is the kind of scent he'd like to smell on you at night. No man wouldn't enjoy this on a woman.

ArlissLux

it's a chai latte with caramel drizzle in it.
best way i can describe it lol.

got it as a gift back in the summer and didn't know how i felt about it then.
sprayed it just now and it just goes to show that fragrances only work during certain seasons.
with that being said, this is a scent for the cooler months.

Dannielle

Smells a little grapey in the beginning and reminds me of zara violet blossom at first because of the grape candy smell , but then it dries down and reminds me of a slightly spicy sugar daddy candy ! I really like the dry down of this . It's a soft spicy and creamy sweet scent perfect for fall !

RandomPatterned

I'm on the fence between "OK" and "Like." Pleasant for casual use, but not unique. I like the combo of fruitiness, light spice and a sort of lactonic vanilla, not very caramel to my nose. @Rosemary14 mentioned chai tea, which seems accurate, it's a bit sweet but not overly so. I don't find it as synthetic or cheap as mentioned in other reviews. I find it interesting that the juxtaposition of fruit and milk here doesn't create a curdled mess, therefore I think the blend is pretty balanced. None of the floral notes stand out on their own to my nose. Same with the spices, maybe the ginger is more forward initially. I like that neither the cardamom nor licorice are singularly prominent, together they contribute a pleasant spicy warmth.

2/3/2024 - Changed to a like. This fulfills the cozy vibe I like for cold/cool weather with some freshness and a bit of spice. It is sweet, but to me, it's in a low-key manner, not cloying. The amber and base notes make it warm and smooth to my nose.

Tlm93

I really wanted to love this because of all the hype but to me it smells like chemicals and children's Tylenol. I don't understand how people love this but I will say the dry down is better and the bottle is cute.

Shellyscents

Synthetic, chemical mess. Vaguely 'fruit' smell and maybe some spice under some lotion left in a plastic bottle and expired. Hate this. Chai latte and creamy dream- where?
P.s. also did not like YIA fabulous(purple) or glorious (peach nude). No cacharel for me.

Edit 3/13/23: I'm revisiting my sample- dont hate me, I might have changed my mind a little. Ok so this opens with raspberry, lemon, and ginger. Smells a bit like raspberry gelatin powder. Also reminds me of Girl of Now forever with that opening (they share notes of raspberry, lemon/lemon peel, orange blossom, maybe more idk). Pretty linear. Still is quite synthetic, I have Girl of Now Forever and am content with her. I might use up this sample then it's not coming back. I still get that expired lotion vibe, it must be ginger and orange blossom? Sometimes orange blossom smells like laundry products or lotiony so this tracks. Still not happy that it isn't raspberry chai latte for me. Also this got hyped on YouTube and I'm half convinced that people are lying about how much they like it considering how full their bottle is etc. I understand that some people have large collections, but if you love it so much and it's affordable, why so hesitant to spray? Obviously not everyone. I am not coming for small channels. YouTube does not call for full disclosure like this site does. Anyhoo, thanks for reading my rant, I hoped it helped you.

SheRays

I am very pleased with this blind buy. Smells sooooo yummy- berrylicious yet milky and creaminess in the background. This is a GOOD one.

noneya88

I go back and forth on if I want to declutter this or not. I blind bought a 2.5 ml bottle about 6 months ago for like $30 at Sam's Club. It's a nice enough perfume and such a great deal if you're wanting a lot of bang for your buck, but I don't love it and to be honest I have no idea why it got hyped so much. It's nothing special. At first it smells like a warm, sweet, laconic, caramel children's cherry cold medicine (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Once it dries down the cold medicine feel goes away and that's when I like it quite a bit more. It doesn't smell cheap, but neither does it smell expensive. It doesn't project much or last much longer than a few hours. The packaging is tacky but it's nice enough. I think I'm going to hold onto it through Winter and if I don't use it much between now and Spring I'll probably go ahead and let it go.

Katiewatie83

I've just received a sample of this and it's not what i was expecting at all. I was expecting it to be sickly sweet given the notes and it's not at all. It reminds me so much of Good Girl and Jimmy choo's I want Choo...if you like these then you will love this. It's so similar however that you probably don't need this in your collection if you have one of the other two, but then with this bottle, who could resist??

Heliga

4.5 stars. I knew that this reminded me of something, but I couldn't figure out what. I eventually realized that it's Glögg, a nordic spiced Christmas drink. It smells both dark, fruity and a tiny bit boozy. I really like it. It lasts pretty well, but it gets more generic the longer it's on. I like that it doesn't smell like most other fragrances on the market today.

itsamarshmallowworld

This is predominately a smooth, lightly warm & spicy cardamom, raspberry, and caramel fragrance. There is a hint of bright citrus in the beginning, and a bit of gardenia the dry down. A soft, smooth dreamy fragrance with light to moderate projection, suitable year round, night and day.

maryannegrace

The bottle is the only unique thing about this perfume. I simply don't understand the hype for this fragrance. It is just a generic sweet scent omg. I am so glad I tried it in the store first before buying it online.

This blew up because a certain Youtuber hyped this up so much. Idk if she was paid to do this because this isn't as unique or sexy as it is hyped up to be. Not saying this is bad at all, it's an okay frag. You should try it out and NOT BLIND BUY.

Tbh it smells like a celebrity fragrance...especially on the dry down. If I had a lot of money, I would get it for the cute bottle. But if you own a lot of frag, you probably already have something like this. It is so generic.

ingeneuxo

-A scent I'd not be caught dead in, if I were past 18.
-Think: smudgy mascara, body glitter, a skin-tight dress and some cheap lipgloss. (-)

meganlamode

A blast of raspberry and ginger attacked my nose upon first spray, but thankfully, it didn't last for long. I'm hoping that, once I get more used to this fragrance, I won't find that opening so "in my face," as it were. A beautiful bouquet of white flowers emerges next, dominated by jasmine. I can't smell milk or caramel specifically, but these notes transform the florals, making the fragrance more creamy and sweet. Besides that initial spray, I don't detect any more spiciness besides maybe the tiniest hint of benzoin, just to give the scent a little more depth. The lipstick-shaped bottle is more symbolic than an indicator of how Yes I Am smells. It's not a powdery lipstick scent, but reminds me more of how you want to smell when you decide to put on your most bold red lipstick for a night out.

aflakes

Lovely but this has the dna of carolina herrera good girl. Also it's like the gourmand version of voce viva.

yeesa_

Huh?? Initial sniff is sweet then it smells dusty and dirty.... am I missing it

candyxoxo589

I feel like I really like this scent. I mean, it's sweet, but spicy. And let me just say, the bottle is the cutest thing ever!
Usually I'll just buy perfumes for the bottle, just because it looks good as a display, but it actually smells good! I'm not sure how to describe the scent, but it's sweet and spicy, and smells like how you would expect it to smell, or maybe that's just me. It really lives up to my standards when it comes to scents, so I really like it! In a way, it smells kinda nostalgic, but I just can't put my hand on it.
I'd describe this at a night out fall dinner scent. Lasting power is moderate, so you may have to reapply it during the day, but it's nice!

likesleet

strong, fruity raspberry & artificial caramel. very synthetic smelling.

Watergod.De$$

Every reviewer on YouTube that said this smells Like a beautiful lactonic Vanilla Ice cream needs to be arrested. This smells like cheap sweet Lipstick from the 80s

rainydays

I'll join the chorus of those saying this is a VERY quality fragrance for the price. I get a big raspberry top note, very sweet, on a bed of jasmine, ginger, and just a little bit of cardamom. I don't usually like cardamom but it's subtle. Playful, delicious, but complex enough to not be TOO youthful. Great for a casual evening out.

LauraAD

Unfortunately on me this just smells like strawberry laces, or some other cheap artificial strawberry sweet, combined with the smell of the plastic that toy dolls used to be made of in the 80s/90s. I waited and waited for it to morph into something better but it just didn't. Nope nope nope.

VirgowithLeo

Something weird happened with this perfume.
Just last week I used it and it would go from that initial opening which I did not like to caramel/milky note which would surprise me and make me smile!

So i ordered the bigger size after testing that out multiple times to make sure that it was this perfume that gave this caramel note after like 10 mins of the initial spray.

But now I don't get the caramel scent at all!

I mean it just turned Fall here. But I don't know if that's the cause?

I am still testing it out different ways to try to get that milky/caramel scent again :(

If not, I will probably save it to try it in Summer again and see. But this was so weird that I literally got the caramel notes and now I don't anymore

FaithRusin

If you like Boss Alive for women this to my nose and skin is more sweeter and refine version of it. It has that calming vanilla and warm tea vibe in the opening. I like it, it comforts me. Smells like sweet warm rose and vanilla at the drydown. Reminds me of Christmas for some reason. Give it a try it is not something massive but you can definitely like it.

isla rose

Although there are gourmands I like, I am not typically a gourmand/fruity type girl. I found.this at a great price and based on reviews, I purchased it. Just sprayed in the air, my first impression is it's SWEET. Initially, I thought maybe it would be cloying but this is SCRUMPTIOUS. I mostly get the raspberry and licorice. Not sure about longevity, as I haven't given it enough time. Not appropriate for ALL occasions, imo, but for most. Fun, flirty, sexy and weirdly addictive. In the reviews I've read I haven't seen any comparison to the current formulation of Lolita Lempicka but it reminds of this fragramce.
Quite a good one ,for the.price!

Ambrocia scents

I don't get anything lactonic, no caramel to my noise. But my goodness this smells good. Seductive night out perfume. I feel like a man would love to smell this on a woman. Wish it lasted longer. Bt u can suck it up and reapply lol its that hot, plus affordable.

NouveauDruid

Yes I Am has grown on me, big time! For one, it lasts on my skin for many hours. Typically, I spray it on at about 7am and still at lunchtime it's strong and noticeable. It does project if sprayed on clothes and stays true. Yet, on my skin it changes quickly and loses the milk and caramel first, surprisingly leaving the raspberry, licorice, and vanilla. The amber is there but it's not deep. Rather, it comes off sharp. Right next to my wrist on my shirt I smell virtually all of the notes and they are sweet, not sharp. Still, it's an imperfect thing due to the unnecessary and intrusive white flowers which should have been left out. This scent can't decide if it's fruity, floral, or gourmand. A fruity gourmand is what is SHOULD have been. Still, I somehow love this stuff. It reminds me of the late, great Versace Donna.

BetterSecondAct

For me, this has an initial blast of mentholated cherry cough drop, drying down to sweet milk and amber. Whoever said it is like the best parts of a bath & body works/body spray scent was on to something - it feels like a sugar/amber lotion I used in the early 2000's. But it doesn't feel childish to me.

It's not an edgy or challenging perfume, but I don't find it overly saccharine. I actually like this one a lot even though I don't reach for it very often. The drydown is so lactonic on me, it reminds me of Kenzo Amour. But the big difference here is the lack of musk. Kenzo Amour has a musk basenote that turns dirty on me and spoils my enjoyment. Yes, I am has resin and spice, but it feels cleaner because it is unadulterated by that musk. I think I need to wear this one more often.

scentssilly

Truly magic in a bottle! It ALWAYS smells good and is perfect for every occasion. It's sweet; it's spicy; it's warm. It's everything you could want from a fragrance.

The main notes I notice are the raspberry, caramel, amber's, and orange blossom.

Simply divine.

Chevybee

So many lovely notes I just knew this would be an easy blind buy but not so much. This is a throw away/give away scent. I don't know what note causes it to smell like bug spray but omg. Lactonic, Raspberry, Ginger spiced bug spray. I've given this scent so many tries and I've honestly kept it for the bottle but I'm ready to gain some precious perfume real estate back because no.

kjanet

I picked this up at Nordstrom Rack the other day because I am partial to Cacharel, and have been somewhat mesmerized by it. It's initially very sweet and a bit fruity (reminds me a little of Amor Amor) but the magic happens in the drydown, where it is creamy and lactonic and sits really close to the skin. I started reading through the reviews below and when I saw Electric Youth mentioned it clicked as to why I love Yes I Am so much. It does totally remind me of Electric Youth, which was handed down to me by my best friend's older sister back in the 80s so has always been a truly nostalgic scent for me. Love Electric Youth, LOVE Yes I Am, this fragrance is special.

NOTES:
Top: Licorice, anise, citrus.
Mid: Well blended mellow spices, vanilla.
Base: Amber spiced woods.

Diesel's LOVERDOSE'S "base notes sister". But softer, gentler, more of a fast skin scent. 8 hr + longevity.

Some people think it smells like Dr.Pepper/Root Beer. Others get sweet spiced Pipe Tobacco or Cigars without actual smoke.

I have also heard that it repels mosquitoes (like Victoria's Secret Bombshell can).

UPDATE: YES THIS REPELS MOSQUITOES AS WELL AS CITRONELLA. I did several tests.

Test #1) I tried it in a small room, locked in with a mosquito for an hour. Mosquito kept trying to track the chemicals of my breath but veered away from my skin every time it got within 2 inches. The mosquito couldn't fly out the door fast enough. That was promising enough for test # 2.

Test #2) I tried it at a summer farm wedding with a 1 hour ceremony in the middle of a forest, and dance in a barn with a dinner under open-walled tents. Its repelling properties lasted 8 hours+ , past midnight. Very impressed. I wore a midi dress in a mosquito-attracting pink color, just to up the stakes a little more. (I read a study which said mosquitoes tend to generally avoid blue, green, purple and white, but love pinks, reds, peach, orange, black etc.)

Test #3) I tried it on a deeper forest hike this past weekend and watched the bugs veer away from me. it's remarkable, really.

Test #4) I tried it at a beach for 2 hours at sunset. Visible clusters of flying insects swarmed together and I slowly and tauntingly walked through them perfectly unbitten.

Test #5) While gardening and pruning trees for 6 hours, sweating in shorts and a tank top. Not a single nip.

I Spread 2 spritzes on each arm, and 3 on each leg, and rubbed it all over while it's still wet. With the remaining vapors left on my hand, I rub the back of my head, and my fingers gently through my hair.

Dual function fragrance is such a bonus.

I would love to see more perfumes like this studied for mosquito repelling ability.

My 5 tests have had a 100% success rate. The previous week to getting this fragrance, I was bitten so badly that I was severely bruised, and I have allergic reactions to most mosquito repellant and bug sprays.

If you are looking for an alternative, perhaps try this.

claudiatalaugon

You guys... I'm back again. I had an obsession with this perfume at the beginning of the summer but then switched over to another perfume for a few months. I recently have been wanting to get adventurous with perfumes again so I came back to this. I am so much more obsessed with this than before. I think that the bottle just really needed to sit on my table for a bit, because now the projection has me in the most gourmand cloud for hours. I would say this lasts a good 6 hours for that "peekaboo" type of experience. Every time I get a whiff of myself in the air I feel like I am the creamiest and spiciest woman in the room lol.

Heyyall

I really enjoy this one. The tart raspberry dries down quick on my skin and becomes a spicy scent. It is a gourmand fragrance through and through. the dry down has a nice prominent creamy sandalwood that lasts about 3 hours. I think this is wearable any season. I wish this lasted longer on me.

jayznar

This is a high end body mist. It honestly smells like the best bath and body works scent you could ever smell. It's generic sweetness but like the best kind... warm raspberry, slightly tart & very sweet. No one will be mad at this scent on you.
It's never cloying though, I drench myself in it and after 5 minutes when it settles its just this simple sweet creamy raspberry sweetness. Then its practically gone after 2-3 hours.
One of my easiest reaches, easy to carry around and easy to reapply and WANT to do so.

Reminicent of: Azzaro Wanted Girl, the sweet white floral dry down of JPG Scandal, Ralph Lauren Tender Romance & Ariana Grande Ari

jocing

The berry & orange & gardenia and ginger are carrying from the top to the bottom, when the first impression (sniff) , you detect that sweet berry and strong spice blooming the gardenia, if you know how gardenia smell like, you will definitely detect the gardenia in Yes I am.
The Base turn to mild sweet milky creamy burning caramel scent.
This is a unique perfume. I love it. Never smell something like that before. So much layering, and each layer and the turning point is not very odd.
More impressed, I though I can’t wear this in office. But the projection is not too strong, suitable for office, daily wear or a night time perfume.

Amagaliv

The licorice and berries are so prominent , it’s punchy and screechy, very similar to juicy noir.. night time forward

MiniMena

Yes I Am is beautiful! The opening is bright, fruity and sweet. The dry down is gorgeous and I mean gorgeous! It turns into a soft (but not shy) woodsy... yet still somewhat sweet fragrance. Today I have been wearing this around my home and let me tell you...I am pleasantly surprised with everything about this perfume. Longevity is about 7 hours! I hope you will give this beauty a try!

mckfly24

A beautiful floral root beer float! Perfect for fall/winter and evenings.

GUADELUPA

It's delicious milk with caramel scent! Perfect from start to the ending - warm, tender, gourmet. This beauty is suitable for any occasions - office, party, dating, meetings, etc. Longevity and sillage is moderate, I would like it to be better and longer, but in any way, it's one of my favorable fragrances. When my first bottle was over, I immediately bought the new one to enjoy its creamy notes!

_jenevieve_

This was a blind buy success for me. I was curious about cardamom combined with milk. Surprisingly, this led me on a less serious journey than I was expecting. Yes I Am is juicy, mouthwatering, and spicy. The mandarin peel, raspberry, lemon opening is tart and bright, giving it an optimistic feel on first spray. Quickly following there is a sweet ginger element that I love. The base is spicy and sensual. All of this is well blended, modern, and suitable for anyone, male or female. It may read a little synthetic, I was reminded of dolls or scented toys from the eighties when I first wore it, but that was a fleeting impression that’s gone away now. Although gourmand, it lacks heaviness. I did, for a moment, catch the comparison to Angel’s Share (which I also own). But, that was also fleeting, and Angel’s Share does read more appley-boozy than orangey-gingerey. (Blaspheme!! I may try them together.) Yes I Am is a pretty scent, affordable, and widely available. A winner!

Edit: Still loving this. I’ve come back to add that I always want to wear this when I’m craving, or going out for, sushi!?! This is a weird confession, weird enough I had to share. The thought of this as my “sushi perfume” totally makes me smile. (The ginger note makes me think of sweet pickled ginger.) So gourmand!

The opening is fantastic (tart sweet fruity floral spiced compote) and I wish it smelled like this all the way through.
It is well blended at opening and nothing stands out.
I also don't get any lactonic or caramel notes.

All the notes sounded so good, but quickly it changes into a generic department store youth scent with a muddled musky wood dry down vibe.

6/10-very weak(10 minutes then gone) and nothing special. Would not repurchase.

WifeyPink

The more perfumes I try & the larger my collection gets the more I appreciate all the notes in this one! It's like a sexy Gummy candy. I love it and this could easily be an everyday Signature Scent 💕

Januarie

Spicy milky tea, with berries and white chocolate sweetness. It's sweetness is really pretty and I really like the vanilla in here! I'd definitely put this under the "edible scents" category a lot go after. I think it's a really nice scent that can be a cute cold weather signature for someone who likes gourmands with a twist. Lasting power though..... really weak on me. I got it a few years ago so it improved a bit, but still a perfume I would consider to carry around to re-spray. The bottle is okay, not the biggest fan of the top part, but it's heavy and feels nice, and I guess this would be overlooked without the lipstick shape, it's memorable. Worth a try in my opinion

Yessamin

Fell in love with the bottle and the fragrance when I tried it. It smells powerful and feminine and the bottle is so cool! Are you wondering if I am a fan? yes, I am.

It blends spicy and floral notes to embody the complex beauty in feminine strength. Slightly lactonic.

ingeneuxo

-Wow, I totally get what the other reviewers say about this.
-Yes I Am by Cacharel doesn't just smell like Dr.Pepper. It IS Dr. Pepper in a bottle.
-Smells just like cherry-flavored soda. A freshly-popped can of Dr.Pepper that almost beckons to you: "come take a sip of this refreshing, mouth-wateringly delicious drink".
-Sweet? Yeah.
-Synthetic? Yes and no. Not any more so than a drink of Mountain Dew.
-Cloying? YMMV, but not to my nose.
-Overall, this is a scent I can see being used to flavor lip glosses of the true-blue y2k girls in the 90s.
-Overall: a young, girly caramel-forward cherry scent that would make a safer blind buy than Guerlain's LPRN (which imo is way too sticky and icky to be worn anytime of the year- outside of the dead of winter.)
-Unlike most designer scents that flood the market, this isn't a patchouli-heavy scent. This makes it comparatively more wearable... even for those who tend to have perfume headaches. (Think: Armani Si, Mon Paris) (+)

Burgundy Jayde

🍨🍧🍨Cremoso is this scents slogan and I can see why its creamy dreamy ( meaning with cream) I have had my eye on this perfume for a while because I love soft caramel scents best.. It is intoxicating she is right. Raspberry caramel ice cream🍦 with a slight powdery spice is how I describe it. Lush and gourmand heaven. Its not too lactonic or licorice thank goodness I am not a fan of those notes. I love the ginger flower note in this one its prominent on me along with the cardamom. Some hate the bottle but I find it retro and fun. This is now easily one of my favorites. It lasts about 6 hours on my skin and is AFFORABLE.... However right now I am saving money for top shelve niche fragrances ☺ 💜💗💜

Tinabill

Soothing licorice gourmand.
YIA greets you with a tangy-sweet mandarin-raspberry opening and then serves you a milky caramel sauce on some abstract florals. I find black licorice notes intriguing but here it is dialed down, though still noticeable and adding some uniquenesses.
Lovely non-intrusive gourmand

Bubbles1964

Prelude: let’s talk about this bottle design and advertising. It’s crazy cool, like 1980s cool. I love it! and the retro packaging. None of it feels to me a modern fragrance. Bravo to the marketing team.

The juice on the other hand, is modern; a sweet Dr. Pepper gourmand. This reminds me of syrup and fruity soda pop. For this kind of scent, it’s well done. A personal pass, but I can’t fault the perfume.

chicagogirl

blind bought this in a cute little little set with lotion cause I thought the price was decent lol. happy to say I love it!! very warm, cozy, sweet cuddly gourmand floral scent. right up my alley in a perfume! The fruity notes dissipate very quickly and you're left with a sweet warm cozy vanilla with fresh florals in the background. I def smell the white flower notes (especially jasmine, orange blossom, gardenia) followed by the caramel/vanilla and lovely spicy hints of cardamon and licorice. there are so many gourmand floral spicy perfumes in the market but I think this one is different enough to add to your collection. even if you have the popular ones like ysl BO, dior hypnotic poison etc. the drydown of this is totally different than any of those perfumes (which I've owned). it is definitely a fall/winter scent but idc I'm gonna get some wear out of this before it's officially summer hehe.

rainme

I didn't like this at first, I thought the raspberry was too sour and plasticky. But as the day wore on I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist. There is something so addictive about this, and as it dries down it becomes sweeter and creamier. The spices give it an extra little something. Plus points for the kitschy bottle which I love.

SummerRose

This was a blind buy. My first impression is that it reminds me of Beyonce Heat Wild Orchid which I bought about 2 years ago and gifted to family as I was not keen on it. This gives me the same vibe but Yes I Am gets a bit sweeter in the dry down. It's my first wear and so I will give it some more wears and update. So far it's okay. I was expecting a bit more from the notes and reviews. Hence, there is some disappointment. I am happy though that I had only bought a 30ml and not a bigger bottle. Also, I'm not keen on the bottle.

I will update if my view changes because sometimes Perfumes grow on you and become LOVES when initially you were not impressed.

filipa.dg

This scent is soo nice, I love it! It's sweet, but not gourmand, because it's also sour at the same time. As mentioned in the previous comments - mainly raspberry or sour skittles. The bad thing is that the performance is not great and the projection is not strong enough. So, if you find the same scent with better performance and sillage, please text me, I will buy it right away!

mussulisa

Soo yummy, I mostly smell the raspberry, caramel and liquorice, I don't really get the spices which I'm so happy about because I'm not the biggest fan of spices. It's like a soft sweet warm scent.

Jansu

At first it smells something between skittles and cheap blueberry cider, red fruit chemical flavour..similar to Viva La Juicy Noir, which I also own and enjoy more, because it is a little more rounded and softer . After that caramel notes set in but its quite juvenile. I dont get any woody notes. The sharpness of berry essence prevails, I guess Im too old for this to be honest.

claudiatalaugon

I went out to find my new signature perfume for the summer since I'm about to travel to a hot country in the next month. I was looking at Good Girl by Carolina Herrera but for some reason the store version just smelt horrible and burnt.

I kept smelling the typical designer perfumes and decided to look at Yes I Am. I was instantly blown away by the smell. It is EXTREMELY UNIQUE. I love mostly fruity/floral scents, I have rotated from Gucci Bloom, Versace Bright Crystal. The thing is, I usually hate those deep sweet scents. But this one absolutely spoke volumes.

First spritz it's very minty, then when it dries down I can't help but keep sniffing my shirt and my hair. I truly think this is the type of perfume that is either a hit or a miss for most. It must depend on how it dries with your natural scent. I know this works for me. I literally feel sexier when I wear this.

zl95

I bought a travel size of this to try. The scent is decent but definitely not a head turner. It's sweet but also not intrusive. Fresh but feminine. Longevity is low, spillage is intimate. A good starter scent to try.

dfechner

I blind bought it and it's a winner. This is a soft sweet Amber scent and I absolutely love it. It's the kind of scent that makes you want to keep smelling your wrist. I'm not sure about the longevity yet, but I don't care as I will put it in purse and spray away.

tonkatsu335

Very rich and sweet.
It is different when I smell it up close, but the fragrance that wafts through the air is similar to that of Angel's Share by Kilian.
AS is my favorite, but Yes I am contains gardenia, which I hate, and its assertion is unpleasant.
For a moment I thought it could be used as a dupe for AS, but it seems impossible.

However, considering the price, I think it is a very good value because it is a deep and sexy scent.

Skinterpreter

I adore this simple, yet lovely fragrance. I bought it as a birthday gift for my sister (we have this funny story with red lipstick having a prominent role there, so the bottle is very symbolic for us), and I am surprised how nice this actually is. The raspberry is so prominent there, actually, this smells very milky and creamy (maybe like a sweet raspberry milky drink or something like that?) with a hint of caramel. It's very gourmand to my nose. Longevity and sillage are moderate, not the most intense but not bad either. :) it's a cute, girly fragrance for daily wearing that puts smile on one's face. I'm going to buy a bottle soon, too. :D

igalmusic

This is sexy! Not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. I am pleasantly surprised. And I love the bottle. Cardamom and anise are the most prominent notes. Moderate lasting power and projection but for this price I can't really complain.

abyangelcoolcat

Initial spray all I get from this fragrance is ginger. Potent ginger with a hint of sweetness. Reminders of an Asian snack called ginger chews. The ginger fades and the fragrance transforms. It drys down to a sweeter, creamier, and slightly fruitier scent with some spice still present (to my nose more so of the cardamom note). It's nice, kinda sexy I guess, but it doesn't 'wow' my olfactory senses. Still on the fence about this one, if I like it or not.

tovasignature

I too got this based on Ms. Rowling's rec. Big mistake. In the past my experience has been that my perfume taste is vastly different from hers. But- So many raved online, in addition to her that I decided to buy a travel spray. I get on first spray, Skittles. Then a weird sweetness that reminds me of a certain bathroom cleaner. I am glad so many are satisfied, but I'm glad I'm only out a travel spray. Skin chemistry and olfactory perceptions certainly vary...

SusanTheTeach

Total love at first sniff, then it just got better and better. I had been hesitating on this because the packaging seemed so gimmicky, but totally adorable at the same time. Then, Demi Rawlings reviewed this and said it was amazing which prompted me to finally order a sample. In short, LOVE it!!!! I think it could be a new signature scent for me. It smells to me like a creamier, more vanilla Guess Seductive Red. It is so addicting and I can't stop smelling my own wrist! So, awesome bottle and addictive, beautiful scent??? Win, win! I am definitely buying a full bottle. So gorgeous.

Faellen

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the similarity to Britney's Prerogative here. It really reminds me of that, except with more spicy ginger and less latex/plastic.
(Then again, Prerogative has been compared to Black Opium, and so has Yes I Am, so maybe that's it. I feel this is more like Prerogative than BO, though.)
There's also a little similarity to Azzaro Wanted Girl.

Anyway, Yes I Am is really nice. I appreciate the gingery spiciness here, it makes it a bit different to most cheap fruity florals. I also get grape soda, for some reason??
There is a milky drydown which I am obsessed with. Longevity and sillage aren't great and that's my main complaint really, because this smells gooooood and I wish it were a powerhouse!

I usually hate tacky bottles but I love this one, probably because I'm a bit of a lipstick addict.

I paid £16 (around 21 usd) for 30ml. Bargain I say!

amandawilliamspalmer

The raspberry top note is awful and it lingers for a tarty 20 minutes. Lalique Soleil has a similar composition with much better smell and beautiful bottle. This bottle and fragrance is juvenile.

Hamano_Chiaki

I dismissed this for a long while as I somehow expected it to smell generic and wasn't drawn to the bottle design. Then a certain YouTuber hyped it and I fell for the hype, and it turns out my initial suspicion was on point. I'm not even someone who wants their fragrances to smell particularly unique, groundbreaking etc, but I don't want to own too many bottles of the same thing either. As someone who owns BDK Pas Ce Soir, Black Opium Extreme, D&G The Only One and JPG La Belle, this feels completely unnecessary. I hoped it would smell spicy and milky, but what I get is lots of fruits and caramel with a hint of spice. I feel the sweetness lacks balance. If I didn't own so many perfumes I would propably keep this and wear it happily, but with this amount of perfumes I don't see myself reaching for it.

Helena Voltaire

this smells cheap and exactly like Avon's little black dress, in fact that may be a dupe for this ''Yes I am', I have tried it from a sample and it brought back memories from middle school. I am sure I will not buy the full size, but yeah it smells like nostalgia to me. longevity is not great, 2-3 hours on my skin, didn't try it on clothes though. Would see a teenager wearing this. It has so many notes but from all those, I can definitely pick up the vanilla, milk and caramel, but they're not that well blended, I don't know something about this does not work for me.

Roses and Thyme

I’ve had this since its release, and wearing it today for the first time in forever, realize it is MUCH better in colder weather.

The spiced base notes are much more prevalent, keeping this from veering into “berry syrup” territory that I get when I wear it in the heat.

I actually smell the licorice distinctively for the first time. I don’t know if it’s bottle age or the seasonal difference but I think I’ve finally come around to it. I look forward to wearing it more often!

**I finally figured it out! The caramel doesn’t overtake it now, whereas before, almost all I could smell was synthetic raspberry caramel. I don’t like caramel notes as a rule (they always smell slightly burnt to me) so this is nice.

menmen

Pleasantly surprised by this not as gourmand as I though it would be. Kind of smells like mint chocolate, thin mints? I would be more inclined to want to put in the want list if the bottle wasn't so dreadful, I know it shouldn't matter but it does put me off quite a bit because I don't like the fragrance itself enough to just want it for the juice alone. I wouldn't advise you to blind buy it.

Stteeepph

Smells like a fruity, minty cough drop mixed with a chai latte if that makes any sense. Will be reselling this.

Warmbroodje

O, what a disappointment this fragrance is to me. The opening was promising. In the first half hour I found myself in a fluffy, aromatic cloud of sweet gingery and lightly floral notes. I sniffed my arm and was surprised: on my skin it smelled different. Aha, this is a 'trailer', a perfume that leaves a scent trail for others, in stead of the joy for yourself to wear.
After 4 hours all I'm left with is a bit harsh drydown, a note that I've come across in (mostly) modern masculin fragrances, in Dior Sauvage for example. It also happened in the drydown with Just Cavalli for women.
Maybe it's the amberwood?
Has anyone such experience?

Iris128

One of my top seductive fragrances! Everyone seems to love it and it smells almost addictive to anyone who comes close! I bought it when i got tired of Deep Red by Hugo Boss and it has the same intense effect but in a much sweeter, playful and youthful way. It radiates passion and it makes me feel confident and very feminine. The silage is great, it can be worn in every season, day or night and it lasts many hours leaving a very fresh and sweet trail behind. It is one i'll always make sure to have in my collection!

kelleybelle

Different, fresh, minty, interesting, bright, colourful ... delicious.

Milamoo92

Tested this today and it was so familiar it was driving me crazy. This is so close to Givenchy Ange ou demon Le secret elixir

MaxieF

Really fruity at first and in the dry down it becomes minty and fresh. It's really pretty. It's not milky. It's floral, woody, fresh, fruity.

SimonsTux

It smells like the 90s but not in a good way. Like warm milk with cardamom but it's not sweet. Kinda nauseating. It is redolent of lipstick though, kinda hard to explain. I like safe, sweet basic crowd pleasers and did not like this. 2/10.

sibaraa

This is a beautiful combination of everything. Does have the la vie est belle vibe, the intensement one especially, but this is more beautiful. It also reminds me of Ellie saab, Le parfum, the original one. A great night out fragrance.

M1tsouko

Ok, well, this perfume is a mystery to me. I got this as a gift from a friend that didn't like this fragrance, and I graciously accepted it. I shouldn't have. At first I loved this scent! I loved how the iconic lipstick bottle looked and the sweet, warm amber smell of it. This was nice until I got whiffs of it throughout the day and I figured out it wasn't for me. I could smell a powdery gourmand overpowered by the cardamom and the deadly sweet raspberry. There was absolutely no zestiness to the raspberry however, just pure sweetness. I'm planning to give this to another friend that's into perfume as I don't like the scent

realitygreene

I'll admit, Yes I Am smells good. It's not sophisticated in the slightest, but with a bottle like that I don't think it's trying to be. This is the perfume I'd pair with a winged liner (if I knew how to figure that out for my eye shape), faux freckles (is that still a thing?), and a matte liquid lipstick (if I hadn't tossed all of mine out because they were six years old). Lactonic fruity florals is a subcategory in fragrance I never knew I liked, but lately I've been obsessed. I can usually take or leave caramel, but here it's nice - there is a buttery sweetness that rounds out the milk and vanilla.

Yes I Am is a relatively inexpensive perfume, but it doesn't feel cheap to me. When I first sprayed my wrists I was hit with the mandarin and raspberry and it smelled good, but not particularly like quality stuff. However, after a couple of minutes this fragrance settled really nicely. Placing amber in the middle notes, surrounded by white florals and rose is a nice touch. It's sensual and deep, romantic and warm.

Because nothing is ever simple with me, I'm going to add this to my "if I found it for a really good deal" wish list. I like this a lot and if I had a bottle I think there are definitely moments where I would want to channel my inner hot bitch and wear this. But, with my (limited) budget it's not quite making the cut without those qualifiers.

Hayven

This is an oversimplification of the perfume; it is a wearable version of Alien for those who cannot handle its loud presence. It is a soft whisper in comparison. Orange zest, Jasmine, Cardamom, and milk are most prominent on my skin.

hola gigi

The bergamot provides a smooth, creamy opening leading to a sweet & fruity drydown. The lactonic vibe arrives later for me but it's lovely. The amberwood is a nice touch. I feel like this could be a cousin to Black Opium. There's no coffee.. but the sweetness is similar in my opinion. I was surprised at the projection from this as well.

VMonster

*Decluttered* Mainly because I hated the bottle. Sort of regret it though.

First impressions: this gives VLJ Gold Couture vibes but creamier, stronger, and with a bit of "zing." I hesitate to say spice, because this scent isn't spicy exactly. It reminds me of a Dr. Pepper float with a caramel drizzle - creamy, sweet, with a bit of whatever mysterious flavors make Dr. Pepper so delicious. The drydown is really sublime. I love a yummy sandalwood drydown and this scent gives. It's definitely in the same vein as any of the VLJ type of scents; safe blind buy if you enjoy caramelly or milky scents.

Regarding the bottle: It is a bit tacky, but it gets a pass from me because it's inexpensive, and I can appreciate what they're going for. It is in the vein of CH Good Girl - some will love it, some will recoil at it. It's a matter of preference, really. At the end of the day what matters the most is the scent inside, but I have to at least vibe with the bottle or tolerate it to keep it!

Patrice 123

This is grape soda... not a gourmand, just very sweet, and a bit immature. Glad I only got a travel size.

b.a.denney

Walmart has this in the one ounce size in their Valentine's Day aisle display. They have this original bottle, the purple bottle "Fabulous", and the peachy pink "Glorious". I only got to test two as someone had stolen the tester for the peach colored "I am Glorious". This original is indeed very much like Ralph Lauren Tender Romance, which I have had for a few years. They smell almost identical. My RL Tender Romance seems to last longer, but at $22 for an ounce at Walmart, if I didn't already have Tender Romance I'd have bought this. It's lovely.

eronf

For some reason this smells like my childhood to me. I swear it smells like early 2000s. Smells like Mean Girls. No further explanation needed.

amyaz

Yay yes I agree it smells like Ralph Lauren Tender Romance! Very very very similar. My only complaint is this doesn't seem to last as long as Tender Romance, this maybe lasts 2 hours on me. However it still smells really good.

Edit 8/1/22- got around to trying them both on at the same time, tender romance dries down alot softer/better rounded, while this dries a little more fruity, sour, and slightly synthetic.

Zesde

This is really nice. I was just spraying some random perfumes in a store and was curious about this one but didn’t expect to like it. I hate the way the bottle looks but the smell is a nice, warm, gingery gourmand scent. I somewhat agree with a previous commenter who said it’s similar to JC Gold. I think I’m going to buy this, I just wish the bottle wasn’t so ugly.

WhistleNote

A little but nauseating for me. Its good don’t get me wrong but it smells like the inside of a car which I do not like.

Frontandscenter

Yummy and comforting, this reminds me of gingerbread. Also milky and sweet candy. I don’t get much of the fruits.

It always amazes me how different scents are perceived. I love RL Tender Romance, it’s my favorite fragrance and to me this is certainly not a dupe like a previous reviewer felt.
There are similarities I guess, but they didn’t register before I read that review, that’s how little alike they are to me.

The longevity’s ok, nothing spectacular, the projection too.
In short, lovely!

Wow this is an exact dupe for the now discontinued, Tender Romance. Same perfumer also (Honorine Blanc). It is spot on, and I’m delighted to welcome this scent back into my collection. This one is a sweet zingy ginger warm perfume thats very comforting. The ginger flower, amber, cardamom, and mandarine orange are the most prominent notes to me.

I thought I was buying a lipstick scent. The bottle alluded to that and many of the reviews as well. Unfortunately, It's just a syrupy sweet perfume. I don't get the lipstick at all. This is a good scent maybe for a teenager or a young woman in her twenties. I don't think it smells cheap. It's just very very sweet. The sweetest perfume I have ever bought. I do love the bottle. It's fun and unique so I'll hold on to it and maybe wear it occasionally when I'm feeling like a sweet scent

This reminds me quite a bit of Juicy Couture Gold but with a touch of coca cola! I love this scent! Got it today at Burlington for $20 so this blind buy was a winner for me. The bottle is also super cute 😍

Mariamaija Amélie

Sweet, warm, fruity, caramelly and mildly seductive. I may purchase a bigger bottle of this because I will use up my 30 ml rather quickly I suspect. Not only because I really enjoy wearing it, but because it fades so fast on my skin. Given the poor performance on me, I don't think it is an Autumn and Winther perfume only, and I don't think it's a night time perfume either. If it keeps underperforming this way even in warmer weather, maybe I will reconsider buying the bigger bottle. But so far I do like this very much.

Maybe this review is a little hasty as I have just opened it for Christmas… haha

It’s very gingery initially. Ginger beer and cola. Cute for a cooler day. There’s no milky or creamy notes here for me.

The dry down, which takes a while to come, smells more fruit based with a teeny bit of caramel, and reminds me of the juicy couture in the metallic pink bottle.

I just got the sample card in the mail and am sharing some quick thoughts! Will update once I test some more!

This is definitely fruit dominant. The initial spray I got a blast of sparkling fruit which turns into ripened fruit with some warm sweetness with a hint of creaminess. This takes awhile to dry down. I do get a tiny sprinkle of spices but not as much as I would have liked. This is more of a creamy fruity gourmand with a dusting of spices, so if you're hoping to get a spicy chai vibe, you may find this to be a tad watered down in the spice department.

So far it's very likeable and probably a crowd pleaser. It's very sweet (La Vie Est Belle level of sweet, though I would argue Yes I Am has more complexity to it), possibly a little too sweet for me and I would've like some more spice to balance it out. However, I do enjoy this so far and it's a cozy winter scent!

EDIT: I had a sample of Kilian Intoxicated so I layered with this to amp up the spice and it's much closer to what I hoped this would have been. The sweetest is better balanced. If you have any spicy fragrances try layering this with those. 😍

I love this scent for the winter I mainly get the ginger, cardamom and licorice creating a beautiful creamy cola scent! If you want to bring out the vanilla I suggest layering with BBW bonfire bash

Yes I Am is quite fruity and sweet to me overall. I am getting berries and citrus, orange blossom and amber. I feel that the sweetness of this is coming from the fruits and amber, and is not the smooth, warm type of sweetness I would associate with milk, caramel or vanilla. I also am getting a distinctive fizzy cola note, especially at the beginning. I don’t know what is causing that but it must be a mix of some of the notes shown here – there seem to be a lot of them. Longevity is quite poor – I’d say it might last an hour before I can’t smell anything. I like the bottle - it's pretty cute and kitschy in my opinion, but the lipstick part with the sprayer has gotten “stuck”.

for sure i smell citrus and some amber but im not getting any gourmand or lactonic notes from it. The juice itself smells pretty cheap but the bottle is totally worth having around. definitely it is not blind buy friendly.

Quick update: I sprayed this on myself last night and loved the dry down. I'm wearing it right now to school and it smells grape-y but then mature and gourmand-y.
