Image Woman Cerruti for women

So happy to have found this. Feels clean, fresh and happy. It is a feminine version of a fresh masculine fragrance. Smells like soap, but not too soapy, is well balanced. I am in love, when I first sprayed I smiled as this is was just what I have been looking for! Can't believe I had never heard of this fragrance! I know well cerutti 1881, but this is completely different. I love the bottle too. You can feel all notes, but is all subtle. Office safe in my opinion. Very happy!

The initial impression is 'hey, this is like a lovely, refreshing shower gel! ` Something fruity, fresh, not too sweet, maybe a little tart even. Then over a bit of time it turns peppery and a bit musty. In the end what I mostly get is male antiperspirant.. It' s actually not bad, but I find this stage a bit too masculine. Other than that it's an italian brand, so I guess in the summer heat this scent might behave different.. It won't be a fave for me anyway.

Not green nor fresh for me. Can only smell the base notes, wood and leather, a bit of smoke too. Hence too masculine for my taste. I got carried away by the positive reviews and now am stuck with it...

Smells okay! I was hoping to get more leather but I don’t get any leather at all only strong citrus. One of the comments below was absolutely right, it smells like hotel soap!

Edit: I actually like this a lot. It smells like leaves or houseplants lol but I kinda like it. I might hide this away and see if it transforms into something else later on

Edit 2: I let this macerate a bit and it smells great! It a lot smokier and more mature. I get a lot more of the grapefruit. I layered this on top of a passion fruit body balm and it smells lovely.

If I sniff the sprayer the scent is fab, it's just how I remember it when it first came out, fresh citrus (very limey), peppery woody, sophisticated, unisex, very very llightly leathery.. off my skin it's just bleurgh. I ruin it. It smells cheap, nasty n flatly woody/soapy almost. Will try again in summer, maybe is just wrong time of year? Having said that it actually smells much better outside in the cold, than it does indoors, so idk. It is currently ridiculously cheap anyway.

I recently went through a bottle of Versace Versense and this is very similar to that fragrance. It should be in the fragrance that Reminds Me list. This is a lovely fresh fragrance and very unisex in my opinion. Don't really get much of the leather note but it is very easy to wear and great for the summer. Much more affordable than the Versace scent.

It was my mum's signature scent back in 2002. I used to sneak into her room and sniff this beauty frequently. Then it was somewhat discontinued, and we couldn't find it anywhere, but now it has made a comeback. However, I feel like they've diluted or changed the formula of this fragrance.

This scent is unique and fresh, not leathery – at least not in a dark sense like other modern leather perfumes. It exudes an incredibly fresh vibe, though not citrusy. Instead, it's more reminiscent of birch and mint, with a touch of light, green-flower freshness.

I've already repurchased it twice for my mum and once for myself. It's a beautiful fragrance that definitely garners compliments!

The most successful blind buy ever !! Reminds me so much of the discontinued Freedom by Tommy Hilfeger, but way more wearable … Clean freshness that doesn’t smell cheap … I would definitely be surprised if anyone found this headache inducing or irritating. By far the perfect summer scent… I am restocking as I am so glad I found finally a replacement for beloved Freedom !!

I purchased my first bottle of C. Image in Y2K and was devastated when it was not available for a bit. I’ve gone through several bottles, now. So glad to see it’s in production, once again. It’s fresh and subtle and could easily be worn by anyone. My go-to scent in a tshirt and jeans or a suit. Great daytime citrus-leather scent.

I really wanted to love this fragrance but it’s just too peppery for me. If the pepper notes were less prominent I could see myself becoming obsessed with this scent.

Slightly tangy, sweet and fresh citrus and mint on an amber and aromatic woody base. It's very nice! Definitely a daytime scent but I would wear it all year round anytime I need a pick-me-up. A winner for me!

Bought it in the winter after reading many positive reviews, but Image for women only showed its mere skeleton back then; although I knew winter is not when this perfume is meant for. Waited till temps got hot and it's a perfect antidote for the hot summer weather now. I like that it's not sweet and that it's very fresh and invigorating. I like my sweets, but in this one, I love the contrast to my usual amber picks . The leather is super subtle, so no worries if you don't like it in general; with pepper and birch, it keeps everything together , as if drying the edges and concentrating the sour delicious cooling juice at its most potency for your pleasure near you ; otherwise, what's green and sour could just spill away and disappear too quickly. It does project near to moderately for up to 5-6 hrs on me, and then is subtle but still there. Of course it's best in the beginning 1-2 hours when most potent. I can't detect single ingredient by itself for more than a whiff , the Image is so well blended. Of course you know that sour comes from grapefruit, although here it's more like green lemon mixed with grapefruit to me. The leather is so thin that it's more like a thin suede mesh. Pepper is just dusted super lightly. No mint to my nose unfortunately, though it's got to be here for the cooling effect. Overspraying did not make more of it-quite contrary, I almost got nose blind when I did that (talking about 8 or more sprays). 3-6 sprays seem to be just enough. The less, the harder my nose works to detect it, but also ends quicker. Definitely worth a purchase, even blindly. Not offensive green, refreshing, interesting, modern, pretty. I keep reaching for it in these hot summer temps, it really helps and it's very pleasant. Can be unisex. I'm glad I did not get rid of it and for now plan to keep it in my collection for sure.

One of my favourite scents. The combination of grapefruit, mint and invigorating pepper on top of smooth leather and birch gives a fresh green scent with a deeper rich undertone and ever so slight sweetness. Sillage and longevity both 8/10.

Such a good go to ‘don’t think about it’ fragrance. I have one in my car and a few bottles at home. It’s a great Chuck on but so much more. It’s a beautiful soft leather and citrus and layers well.

I had a sample back when it was discontinued and I've been searching for this fragrance for at least five years. Now it's back on the market and I finally got myself a full bottle. Unfortunately, this isn't suitable for cold weather as it tends to be annihilated and it seems to me that's not the proper time to get the best of it. Smells clean, refreshing, very elegant and feminine, safe for everyday wear. It will surely become a choice for summer.

Mint, leather and amber. All together they create this specific fresh slightly sweet musky aura with green herbaceus undertone - sweet vetiver (I know, it is not listed). It's like 'I do not even try to smell so good, this is how I am'. For every day wear. This is signature material!

Based on the reviews I ordered online... i really wanted classic summer perfume but this is too old for 2021.Kind of disappointed😒

Blind buy based on reviews here. If I sniff top notes too long/deeply, it reminds me of vomit (must be the acidic grapefruit). BUT the drydown is heavenly. So smooth. I get a lot of well-balanced elegant leather. It's a keeper, despite the scary first few minutes.

I have to share my happiness because I have just seen Cerruti Image is back in sale! I was really disappointed after discontinuation and I couldn´t find anything as a replacement. It´s fresh (far from sweet) and a little bit unisex but leaning more toward female fragrance.

I’m in love with this. Fresh, citusy and clean and unisex. Good longevity About 7hours. Love it!

My dad gave this to me back when it was brand new on the market. He bought it in an airport duty-free shop I think as last minute gift to me. I imagine that this was recommended because he told them I was around 22 and aspired to be considered urbane. The words to describe it were “citrus & leather”, which I found daring. I loved it! It’s not romantic, but it is sexy like a summertime day date.

Recently I was scrolling through Overstock and was geeked to find this. It’s not at all for winter, and probably best for the peak of summer. If you want a very unisex, not remotely sweet, bright perfume, this is an amazing cheapie. Amazing.

WOW! this is such a hidden gem, I also see that it was discontinued and then relaunched which probably would explain a lot. I recieved a bottle of this today for my birthday and I'm absolutely in love with it, its very summery, fresh, clean, youthful, a bit sporty and it also smells like the early 2000's (not saying it smells dated, but it does remind me of fragrances that were released during that time).

The bottle is unusual, it reminds me a bit of a lighter and I like the overall simple, elegant but minimal style, it matches the simplicity of the scent inside it. Image opens up bright; grapefruit and green notes mingle and then settle down with mint and some light woodiness, I also smell something a little bit smokey in the background, I see that Cerruti say it has a mineral carbon accord which may be what I can smell but it adds some intrigue and makes this already fresh and unique scent even more unusual.

Good longevity of about 6 hours and a nice moderate silage, it'll gather compliments but wont offend sensitive noses.
Its perfect for spring and summer, its also very unisex as well, office friendly and a safe blind buy if you like fresh, citrussy scents.
Future repurchase!

This is a happy and fresh perfume, very uplifting, brings to mind a cool spring water in the middle of a fresh spring forest. Brings back happy memories and it used to make me feel special when casually dressed. I just remembered this today looking at perfumes and I had 3 bottles in the past, that was 15 years ago, I could not get enough of it. Time to order a new bottle, I see Amazon still has it.
It is a perfume for younger women and has good silage and lasting power.
It is an amazing perfume for a hot summer day, makes you feel fresh all day long.

If you want a uplifting, beautiful orange/citrus/fresh fragrance, minty and soft leather and distinctive this may be for you.

Within my 400 perfumes bottle collection of vintage and recent fragrances, it is one of my favorites. It is in my top 12.

This perfume is pure class if it suits your skin. It lasts 4-6+ hours on my skin. It lasts for days on clothes.

It is very easy to spray. The glass bottle is lovely & chic. I have sprayed four sprays on the neck. I can definitely smell it. I feels like I have lovely scarf of strong gorgeous fragrance. A little of this perfume goes a long way.

I personally feel this is a masterpiece. The notes are nicely blended. There is a the right lemony amount of sharpness to keep it interesting and balanced. The perfume states to me, "I am here smell me". I would say, this is one of my signature perfumes, because it is different, bright, energetic, positive and clean.

This a very elegant and refined perfume, it feels like a Chanel quality smell. Yet, there are no roses or vanilla, etc., here. The top notes are green leaves, grapefruit and pimento. The heart of the composition is fresh with the bitterness of gentian root, water mint and mineral carbon note. The base notes are leather, amber, cedar and birch.

It is reasonably priced. This citrus fresh-oriental which is lovely and refreshing. It is my light and bright scent for summer or spring perfume.

For me, these notes smells little like the vintage white lid, orange and white packaging mania perfume from Armani without the lemonade fizz. But it has much more substance than Armani.

Even though it has no orange or mandarin notes, it does remind me of the vintage Chanel allure edt. Yet, there is a strong lemony overtone. Perhaps, a better linkage would be with the Chanel L'eau edt for women, but stronger.

If you have a chance to purchase or smell it you may consider this. I think you could wear this anytime.

This fragrance is an uplifting feel to it. I feel content and at peace wearing it. This perfume for me is outstanding perfume making at its best - quality all the way through.

I bought my bottle for $55 on Ebay through a perfume supplier. It was definitely good value for money for me. You could add a orange or vanilla moisturiser cream as a base to make the fragrance last even longer. Or add essential oils into a cream to make it pop more.

I just received this, and it's gorgeous! On me it's a very light floral, citrusy scent with a hint of smokiness. I completely fell in love and I'm already looking for a backup bottle as I know I will use this first one up fast ☺️

When I was a young college student in the early 1990’s, I fell in deep love with Alexander Julian’ s Womenswear. Not burdened by medical bills and other gown up financial obligations, I bought and wore it many times. Silly as it may sound, I felt beautiful when I wore it and sad when it was discontinued. I’ve searched for it many times and now it seems I’ve found something as similar as I can find. The best description I can use is that it’s a fresh leather scent but more complex than that. It reminds me a bit of Omnia crystalline in that it just smells classy and not too over the top for office wear. Clean without overwhelming silage. A skin scent for me.

I bought this a very long time ago when I knew next to nothing about perfumes. I was stuck at a railway station because there was a tree down on the line so as I couldn't get to work, I decided to go shopping. I was asked which genre of perfume I preferred and the first the saleswoman said was 'green'. Pretending I knew what I was talking about, I said 'green, yes'. In reality, I'm a floral/oriental/powdery gal. This was presented to me and whilst I wasn't that impressed with it, I bought a 30ml bottle, mainly to save face. I used it every day to use it up. Suddenly, one day, something clicked and from then on, I loved it. I bought a 75ml bottle and now keep it for days when I want something completely different. On a hot day, especially, this holds up brilliantly well and stays true to it's roots when other perfumes can change and fade. In winter, I wear it to remind me of hot summer days. It's a fresh gin and tonic that you wear and imagine walking through a forest after the rain has stopped, and feeling like there's nowhere else on earth you'd rather be in that moment.

I acquired this scent, I believe through a blind swap, back when I was first on the lookout for interesting leather scents. And interesting, this is.

It's a blast if green freshness. The citrus is almost imperceptable. The mint is JUST present enough to really make it light and fresh with all the pepper and leather.

It's a really interesting and unique scent, and one I'm enjoying a lot in this hot Haitian weather. But it certainly falls on the masculine side more than the feminine side. Not that I mind.

I have this wonderful, unique fragrance tucked away. I paid a pittance for a new flacon a few years back and to be honest I am so glad I did..
This is a long lived citrusy fragrance that goes the distance.
It's crisp fragrance bespoken of clean tailored natural and timeless classic couture with the perfect coiffret, it's a fair fragrance, simplicity uncomplicated no fuss perfume.
The closest reminder is the original XS by Paco Rabanne, though this fragrance is lighter it has that vibe.
The woods brings this a subtle balance and none of the notes seems to overpower the other except the effervescent citrus.
If you are fortunate to find a flacon of this, snap it up, by all means lovers of these fragrances won't be disappointed.
That's my opinion. This adds some real class to my wardrobe of fragrances. I also see this as unisex too, though by no means overly masculine.
A liberal spray lasts all day well into night, perfect for a long hot summer.
If I had to choose a travelling fragrance wardrobe all over again. This would be first choice, however I would be afraid some thief might steal this...That's how good this fragrance is...

Cerruti Image isn't my favorite fragrance and what's more, it's far from my favorite category. However, it's unique and rare because there aren't any floral notes here.
I bought this scent 4 years ago and today, I decided to try it again. I've never really liked it, and I used it only when I was on holidays, after a shower, going to dinner after sunbathing on the hot and sandy beach.
Nowdays, I rediscover it. Strong lemon seasoned with spicy pepper and green and refreshing mint! Summer mix of frosty lemonade with a bit of amber warmth and cedar bitterness.
Over time, the smell becomes less spicy and juicy, but more elegant, balanced and warmer.
Today, I can say this's the fragrance to which I had to mature to appreciate its originality resulting from the lack of flowers and sweetness.

I Absolutely LOVE this...Very sexy, husband agrees, but says the smell reminds Him of Me, so to make a mark....Spritz this, its unconventional, no one will smell like YOU, I feel So Womanly when wearing...

This could be defined as a feminine Terre d'Hermès. Same dry mineral vibe, slightly earthy, cool and fresh. A perfume of adventure and strong will !!

This is fresh, unisex and perfect for hot days. I'm usually not a big fan of unisex scents but this one is really good, it is not exceptional but good. It has the same vibe as CK one but a bit sharper I would say. I use it in summer days.

Oophs, I received a sample as a gift and I always thought it's for men:D I see now the little socket thi si the women version. To me smells like a fresh citrus "after shave", I feel this among modern and old times. it's more like a man cologne than feminine or at least unisex. Btw nothing interesting...

I only knew 1881 Cerruti and that I really liked. This one is unbearably strong and sharp on me. The scent never fades. I keep giving it a try, but two tiny spritzes and my headache is coming on. If anybody wants a bottle ( 50 ml ) of this, let me know. I'll be more than happy to get rid of it.

How I love this perfume. I love the dry citrus over the smoky woody base; it's like getting the best of both worlds, fresh and dark. It's also sexy in a fresh, bracing way. It reminds me of a good dry wine with citrusy overtones. Many compliments for me with this one, usually preceded by the following question, intoned with wide-eyed intensity: "What ARE YOU WEARING?" It's a stockpiler for sure.

This was my favorite fragrance for years and I am heartbroken to hear of its being discontinued. It is a very very crisp, light blend of green leaves, white pepper, citrus, and saffron plus leather. The most common compliment I recieved while wearing it was: "You smell so FRESH!" While it's a female fragrance, I can attest to it working for men just as well, as it's nearly devoid of heavy florals. If you can afford the now-inflated prices and want something out of the ordinary but not overpowering or heavy, this might be for you.

Α great combination of citric notes and spicy notes.
On my skin comes first the grapefruit,then dances with pepper on a lovely base of cedar,all the way long.
The result is a unisex,extremely fresh but not with a barber shop cologne effect.I always loved it and got it from a wonderful swap-I can't tell you how happy I am!
Today we have 40oC-you can imagine what was my first pick for a fresh,clean,cool,elegant and long lasting perfume saving my senses from the heat!

Citrus and Green notes are the notes that I can smell the most. For me this is a unisex fragrance that follows the CK One (all citrusy notes) example. Not my style. I would prefer it to a man. Well even love it. But there was a period in my life that I was going all out for unisex scents (and even masculine), but now I am totally against those kinds of notes. But it is not a bad perfume, so I don't want to put it as dislike. It is just that it is not my style anymore. If you are into strong citrus with a unisex scent go for it. It is discontinued so it will be difficult to find it after a while.

Edit: After trying this at a warmer day, the notes of birch became apparent and I have to say that I like it more on a warmer weather. I will give it a try.

Image Woman is a very fresh and easy to wear fragrance. It opens up spicy and immediately I can smell leather. For me it's all about the leather, it's the main note I get while I'm wearing this.I get the feeling like I'm walking through the forest on the spring morning. Very refreshing. My only wish is that it could last a little bit longer.

To my big surprise it smells gorgeously! Much more expensive than it actually is. A very underrated scent. Reminds me Versense of Versace.
A slightly bitter citrus vibe, refreshing but still deliciously calming, uplifting and inspiring fragrance. I don't get much mint or leather (which is good), but I can clearly smell a juicy grapefruit (fruit and peel), some nice, fresh, aromatic pepper and an excellent mixture of wood notes.
A transparent, adult,feminine veil.

Very woody. Very! To be honest it reminds me juniper only, which is not listed though. Could that be the combo of birch and cedar.. well, who knows. Anyhow, the scent strongly reminds me of a wooden cutting board and a few cooking spoons I own. Made of juniper.

Ah, and maybe, just maybe, there's also a hint of mint. Yup, definitely.

PS. I really admire the bottle, it's simply genious.

This starts off with a slightly acidic and peppery freshness. The tonic-like quality of the opening gradually fades, leaving a pleasant and clean-citrusy-floral aura. Very early in the development of the scent, the leather note peeks through, but it is more of a pungent, herbal, greenish suede-leather, less of a cured smoky leather (though this comes from someone who is only beginning to track down and differentiate leather fragrances, so this opinion is humbly rendered). I doubt that the leather is discernible to people in the vicinity of the wearer. It just heightens her enjoyment of the fragrance and perhaps enhances her natural skin scent.

I agree with the reviewer below that Image Woman is done in the same style as Cerrutti 1881 – a light floral surface with a defined clean character (in 1881’s case, the linen note helps to realize this), with a sensual undertone arriving in occasional wafts (sandalwood and amber in 1881, the leather note in Image). But the two fragrances are quite separate, and it’s well worth testing (if not having!) them both, for the sake of the experience.

Image Woman is a fragrance best for work or hot summer days. It shares some of the properties of a good men’s cologne, without being masculine. You will be remembered for your excellent aura, not necessarily your perfume.

Very underrated scent. Perfect for summer, inexpensive, long lasting, citrus lemon fragrance without room freshener feeling. As others said - staying long on clothes and makes a hot day very fresh. I tried it with crisp white smart shirt, tried with trainers and t-shirt for jogging, tried on a summer night, and all I can say - it just fits the moment. If you are a fan of lemon, freshness and lemonade - get this one. I can't detect any leather notes, and to me it's quite confusing because I wouldn't imagine any leather scent for a hot weather, but Image is very surprising. It's always in my drawer and I use it when I feel I need to wake up and stay fresh all day. I layered it with Givenchy Pour Homme and it gives me beautiful feeling , my lovely lavender and olibanum with lemon. bitter, fresh lemon :)

The opening reminds me pretty much of CK One on my skin, but after a few minutes both are different. CK One changes into something dry and disappears quickly, but Image stays fresh like a rainforrest with a hint of leather.

It does not have the best lasting power, but it is pretty well for a spring/summer perfume. It lasts about 7 hours on my skin and even more on the clothes.

It is one of my favourite perfumes, maybe even the best one acording to me. It is simple, fresh, unique and surprisingly feminine(although there are not any flowers listed)

I explored several offline shops today, testing this fragrance and searching for impression of refreshing leather, as most of comments on it sound inspiring.

That old and new versions of the fragrance alongside with different conditions of storing are confusing. As a result I can't call this fragrance well balanced, as the opening is blurred while the heart of it is quite heavy.

As it is quite cheap at e-shops, just beware of fakes (because even at some offline shops i met some poorly packed items!)

I received today my Image and I was surprised with this aromatic perfume, very fresh and happy appropriate for spring and summer. I can detect the lemon notes very well blended with spice and leather. Sillage and longevity very nice and all you get at the end is an aromatic fresh scent. I believe Cerruti perfumes are underestimated and they truly deserve more credit.

I don't understand how scents like D & G Light Blue are top of the fragrance bestsellers and this gets let behind. This is a fantastic example of the herbal/aquatic/citrus in the vein of CK One but more feminine and sensual, like rain on a spring morning or a Gin & Tonic with a slice of lime. I work as a RN and have been looking for a nice scent for work and this fits the bill perfectly. The price also cannot be beaten!

There is some similarity with 1881 Cerruti, without the flowers and the sweetness, actually here is only the alcohol base of 1881
If I have to make an advertisement clip for this I will put a crowd of green, cartoon microbes, running panic to save their lives.
It is so antiseptic, strictly for hygiene maniacs, and good option to replace is lavender alcohol 8%.
For such a price I could not say I am disappointed of this blind buy anyway.

UNIQUE ! love it

I am a man, and although some give this a unisex label, I agree to a certain extent, but this does sway closer to the feminine end of unisex.

Saying that, I wear this, and to me, this is beautiful. The amber and leather notes take centre stage on my skin but there is this feminine edge (flowery? powdery?) which I get that gives it a beautifully rounded smell. This reminds me a little bit of Versace the Dreamer, a personal favourite of mine. On my skin, this juice has beastly longevity along with major sillage and projection, just like I get with Versace the Dreamer.

This fragrance needs more love than it gets, definitely a keeper in my collection.

So clean and crispy it almost makes a screeching sound! Bitter grapefruit with pepper and mint. It is independent, discreet, bursting with authority gained by good taste and good sense. It is simple, but not made for simpletons.

The best blind buy ever! Can't praise it enough.
I usually don't like mint or citrus, and find leather scents bit "sweaty".
But here they all blend in a perfect harmony. Leather is subtle, grapefruit is fragrant, cedar and amber are warm. And pepper - star of the show - is just sensational.
Scent is at it best after about 2 hours of application and for another 10 hours.
Lasting power is superb. I sprayed it in the morning, wore that t-shirt all day and went to sleep in it because I could not say goodbye to my new love. And in the morning it still smelled! Even in more beautiful, sensually aromatic way.
Unlike most, I like to wear such scents in winter. It plays well with it's coolness.
So happy I found it!
I remember liking 1881 Intense on my future husband, that said I need to look closer at Cerruti perfumes now.

Blind cheap buy, good to use after early morning shower and go for jogging, then take shower and use something else :)
Not working on my skin, I just feel citruses and I can have this kind of perfumes for 2-3 pounds, so nothing special, but not very bad.
I like the bottle, it's very handy. It's pity that I cannot say anything very good about the fragrance.

Did not like this at all...way too masculine and cheap smelling.

Cerruti Image is a very good example on how a perfume naturally changes on your skin. It starts off with a shower off lemon and greens, really juicy, almost drinkable! Very nice but this stays unfortunately not very long on me, it morphs instead into a VERY nice herbal mint, wich is really clear but soft.
I relly like that one - divine smell.
Later on it slowly develops into a amber, cedar, leather smooth base which stays and stays.
The softness makes it a really light perfume, easy to wear, whispering like a smooth oriental. For once I am happy it lacks the patchoulie, the perfume is doing just right without it !
I would recommend this for any woman - sporty, workinggirl and/or sophistcated lady who wants something fresh, but with a twist !
Will love wearing this on a hot summer day, because of the lightness...
A very nice surprise !

Crisp, fresh, invigorating, vibrant, and juicy, the first moments of Image almost monumentally burst with citrus and green vegetation. On my skin the scent soon becomes clean - lemoney soap comes to my mind - and later also sweetly minty with a touch of light, almost transparent woods and roots. I guess it is in a way modern - indeed - and androgynous, (as TankGirl mentiones), rather than unisex. Unfortunatelly less than half an hour later, the fragrance is so subtle and discreet on me, that I have to press my nose onto my wrist to smell it. Nevertheless, I am enjoying the clean, lightly aromatic sweetness of the skin as the scent is rather faint, yet somehow surprisingly innocently naughty. :-)

A bright, warm, leathery, citrus opening, then it quickly settles into a lovely, creamy, peppery, minty-sweet, smokey arrangement. This is a beautiful, approachable, sensual frag.

One of the best citrus fragrances I have tested so far.

Image opens with a very refreshing grapefruit note which almost feels like starting a day with a pleasant smile on face. A little later pepper joins and here I would say that spiciness of pepper is made for citruses. As it travels to the phase where it begins to settle, there's mild coolness of mint combined with wood to accompany grapefruit and pepper. Very clean and refreshing scent!

Over all opinion, I would love to buy me a big bottle and wear it all year round. It's a kind of fragrance that one will never grow tired of wearing. It has everything in balance, citrus, spice and wood.

This is my number one favorite, always safe, fresh cologne.

Completely feminine! Fresh, very spicey, creamy, utterly lovely scent. Bursting with fruit! Strong but not heavy. So so beautful, Great value for money.

At first a blast of citrus. After 10 minutes I can feel pepper, grapefruit and cedar. Not a very female'ish scent - but neither a male scent. I would call it a bit dry and very nice (after that first citrus-chock). I like my scents to be a little bit spicy and this one is. No sweet tones at all - which I like.

This is a very androginous scent, modern, peppery and fresh. The top notes of grapefruit are not my type, but after a while this scent becomes a very good leather, with a lot of pepper and mint. A great perfume for office, reminds me a little bit of Hugo Boss Woman.
If you are looking for a cheap office fragrance that goes with a modern suit, this is the one.

Bought this for my friend for her birthday, n she cried when she opened the gift to see this. Coz this was her dead daughter's perfume. She's been looking for this perfume her whole life, n she can't find it. I'm so happy i can bought Image for her, just so she can smell her daughter smell wheneves she miss her.

I bought Image without any great expectations....just something to wear to the gym for a change. I have quite a few citrusy fragrances for sports, but I never thought that a citrusy fragrance could smell so elegant and feminine until I tried Cerutti Image. I was really impressed with this little gem...citrus with subtle leathery and woodsy notes are just amazing!
One of the best blind purchases I ever made!

A fresh leathery aromatic, subtle and unforgettable. It inspires indeed spontaneity and cheerfulness especially when used after a shower in the morning. A good example of how wonderful a fragrance for women could be, without making use of tones of sandalwood, vanilla, sweet flowers, and so on. I normally prefer Lacoste pour Femme, but this is a fine alternative. The only problem is its lasting-power, which is rather poor on my skin.

I use to wear it more in winter and springtime, than in summer, since it stays longer on my skin in those seasons. I'm not usually obeying the "rule" which suggests that "warm spicy orientals" are to be worn
in winter and fresh-fruity or acquatic-florals only in summer. This can be a good choice also for colder days, if you don't care about that "rule".

It is a very good fragrance if you're fed up with being a girly girl and tired with stereotypized, overloaded with sweetness, obligatorily sexy women's scents but still want to smell good. It's quite sharp but in a nice, balanced way (it has a similar slightly sharp note to L'eau par Kenzo, I don't know what it is but makes me think of carbon) but still unobtrusive and refreshing. For me the biggest advantage is a very, very delicate, hardly detectable leather note - I like leather but normally it's too much and too overwhelming for me - and here it's just a perfect dose to give it some edge and lordly touch and make it more than just a fresh scent like 100 others.
The biggest con is that it has some top note that reminds me a detergent. But it's bearable for all other virtues' sake.
The lasting power is not so great, but not so horrible either (c.a. 3 hours on my skin), especially for this magnificent price. Sillage seems to be poor on me although I remember smelling it on a couple of people out there. I admit I wish somebody pumped it up a bit. On the other hand it is completely discrete, which is good.

Citrusy&Peppery refreshing, optimistic and very office appropriate scent for spring and summer time.
Nice, understated and inexpensive.
I must agree there is something delicately metallic in it, but I do not get even a hint of leather.
Neither do I find it masculine or unisex, still it does not mean men cannot try it.

Love this one. I wouldn't compare it with any other fragrance - it's one of those classic ones I come back to every now and then. I'm surprised by some negative reviews on it as I always get asked about its name-people love it, never heard a bad comment before. I guess it doesn't work on everybody - luckily it smells gorgeous on me :)

Don't waste your money on this one. I will personally stick to my light blue and DKNY. This stuff was bad. No character what so ever. Very masculine. You want leather go for Fendi. I don't care how cheap it is, you just don't pay to smell bad. I paid 15 dollars for mine and returned it within an hour. The smell left on me all day was unbearable.

Cerruti IMAGE WOMAN is definitely misnamed. This is a completely universal fragrance which may even be a tad more masculine than feminine. Flowers and sweetness, often considered characteristically feminine components, are nowhere to be sniffed in this composition!

Instead IMAGE (WO)MAN opens smoothly with a mélange of subdued aromatic notes, including citrus rind and pepper, suspended in what I register as a clean, lightly resinous and musky base. The fragrance develops over the course of several minutes into a tender leather fragrance with just a touch of wood (not sandalwood...), still suspended in what seems to be clean musk. Good longevity and low sillage.

I like this high quality, subtle composition very much and recommend it to anyone who appreciates gentle leather fragrances. This may be one of the best bargains around, judging by other reviewers' remarks. If I see a bottle of this somewhere, I'll definitely snap it up!

This almost like Lacoste's Hot Play-for girls :-). Actually, after reading up on it and finding it in a TJX store, my Mom bought it for herself as it is very similar to Hot Play with a little more floral feel and a 'cooler' vibe in general...

This begins with grapefruit and a fresh cracked pepper note, clean but spicy. The mint in the heart is more of a smooth cool spearmint than a cold sharp peppermint; and the gentian flower is softly present adding an air of femininity, but not overpowering the scent. There is a slight metallic vibe here, more of a lite sheen. The finish has birch/leather, but it is more like a teaberry/suede, than a really heavy smoky leather, and it works well with the other notes. The cedar is nice and the amber is not too heavy either, and makes this settle nicely on the skin. If you can get past the slight floral in the heart, this could totally be worn by a man as easily as a woman. In fact-when my HP was running low, I would wear this; though Mom insisted it was too feminine for me, I found it quite nice.

This scent is different from most "female" citrus aromatics, the citrus is clear, and there are no other fruits to muddy its clarity. The single floral note of gentian is very nice, and the addition of pepper and mint along with leather, amber and cedar would seem almost too "butch" but here are subtle and pleasing.

This comes very close to being unisex-but after this last evaluation, I should say it is more of a slightly masculine feminine scent than a true uni. 'Image' is a very good name for this, as it gives an image of a soft but strong woman: sharp and cool, with a spicy side and very serious yet sensual foundation.

All I smell is an intense ginger aroma in Image...(And I don't like ginger)None of the other ingredients listed came to my nose...
Whem you're a fan of ginger fragrances, you may probably like this one too.
But for me it's a two thumbs down...

I’ve never ever fancied that I can enjoy a citrus scent. And here I am wearing Cerruti Image and finding it absolutely adorable from beginning to end. Pepper at the top notes, mint at the heart and leather and amber in the base are the components that save the fragrance from becoming a mediocre citric concoction. Cerruti Image is heady, crisp and very invigorative at the beginning. Then it gets warmer, earthier and more sensual. At this phase, one may think this is not a fragrance, but one’s natural skin scent. Beautiful, unostentatious, easy to like and to wear. This summer I reach for it quite often.

I using it for everyday, about 7 years :) And I had 9 bottles of it :)
Its fresh and spicy, but not too much, its sweet on me, and very long lasting, event edt stays 5-6 h. Its the best synthesis between grapefruit and peper (also mint is not strong its more fresh).

I bought Cerutti Image Woman after only being exposed to the top note. Not such a good idea. The invigorating pepper and grapefruit notes only last a short while, and an hour into wear it has transformed into a heavy, spicy, woody fragrance. I could see how this could appeal to some people. The note of leather is nice, but the wood and the amber I find to be overdone. Notice I didn't mention the mid notes, and that is simply because they didn't develop. I think if those notes would have lingered and gave way gently to the heavier base notes, this might have been nice for late fall and winter. I paid only $10 for a 1.7 oz bottle at TJX so I'm not completely let down. But I think I'll give this to my husband. It smells way more masculine than feminine. It's not a bad fragrance, actually if you are into the heavier perfume you'll enjoy it; this one is just not for me.

I liked this perfume at first but went off it very quickly for some reason and it started to smell slightly nauseating to me!

I had it but there must be an ingredient that I cannot stand. It was even nauseating for me.
