Santal Odeyar Chopard for women and men

Impressive! I feel mango, orange blossom and labdanum. But these words are not enough to describe it. Nothing is too much, they blend so well together... It's not fruity, it's not floral, not oriental, but a very good mix of all of them.
Longevity is ok, over 8 hours, but I wish it had more projecting power. It stays close to skin.

First of all there is no prominent sandalwood. Literally.
This magic fragrance smells fruity ( like mouthwatering juicy tropical fruits, where the most detectable is mango), very sweet but at the same time sour.
Very careless and happy smell ! Divine!

I don’t get the balsamic or too much amber notes as well - by pyramid this fragrance should smell heavy and oily like, but in reality it is a very light, sunny, easy and beachy perfume 💚

It definitely reminds me of GGGB and Soleil au Zenith but much more louder and sweeter, more daring and confident.

This is a fountain of good mood and joy, of feminine spirit and beauty 💚💚💚

Soft sandalwood with very light echoes of mango at the start. From the white flowers, you can smell osmanthus, the same as in queen of sheba or good girl kilian. It turned out very nice! Rather feminine, I don't see it on a man at all. Lasting more than 4 hours, the sillage is average.
I would recommend it to girls who find good girl too infantile and queen of sheba too stuffy, because the leitmotif is about the same, but they are all different and beautiful in their own way.

Incredible!!!! This is something!!! I understand why they noted the similarity with my favorite "Girl" - it is the same creamy and fruity-floral. I have been looking for a similar fragrance to "Girl" for a long time, because I can't imagine myself without it, it opens incredibly on my skin, but "Girl" quickly flies off my skin, and Chopard is really in the same direction and I was very surprised, I thought that it is impossible to repeat this masterpiece, but yes! it is incredibly beautiful - the same creamy fruitiness framed by flowers, but a certain "mintiness" is added. The fragrance starts with pine notes, fresh and even a little spicy, and then the fragrance opens in all its glory and there are fruits with coolness, and then there is creaminess (surprisingly, but there is no creaminess on clothes, but I would like to...) The girl is more sweet, floral, and Chopard.

A fragrance for the still young Claudia Schiffer or the modern beauty Kaia Gerber.

Oh,how I fell in love with this fragrance! Usually, when entering a perfumery, I know what I want. I go right away to test the selected compositions, I rarely let myself be seduced by beautiful flacons or persuasions of saleswomen. Fortunately, this time was different. The lady praises the niche line of Chopard, which I associate with the pretty but uninspiring Wish, puffs Santal Odeyar on the blotter, says it's her favorite. I know the stories, but I take it, without much expectation, sniff it... and the world stopped for a moment. This is what I'm looking for, what I want and can't find! Totally magic! At first freshness, fruit, but not some citrus air freshener! It's tropical, ripe fruit. Later it only gets better, the fruit calms down, woody, warm notes break out, one after another, then it's elegant, but not heavy. I walk down the street and feel this aura of fragrance around me, it sparkles, it's not pushy, it doesn't hit others in the face with a baseball. I sniff my wrist all day long because it lingers so much. I can't stop thinking about it, the scent haunts me, I finally buy it and decide to be its advocate in the world:) No fragrance has ever made such an impression on me, I feel like it was made for me.

Each perfumer is good in a particular area of creative activity. One is a master of landscaping, another of floral ikebana yet another serves plastics in over-the-top forms. Here the author is also a specialist, perhaps -from pleasure. The composition is very well internally balanced. You look directly into the eyes of an experienced creator. Fruits in the form of thick juices flow beautifully on the base. A slightly dark still life painting on one of the prized canvases. On the skin, the perfume gains depth. Not worth spraying on paper, there the value drops.
Just as other expensive specialties fail after an hour with a compromising base, here it continues to weave a wonderful story. Don't look at this picture with a magnifying glass, it's pointless, look at how the whole plays and pulses. Beautiful. One downside - wallet thinner.

If I had looked at the pyramid, and read the reviews, and even met the mention of a "girl", I would have passed by. But! I met him by chance and he is great. Here is jasmine in its beautiful performance, without any "obscenities", it is so cold, slightly moist, and in combination with citrus and fruits - it is very beautiful, fresh, sunny. The sandalwood showed up on my skin, but gave a satisfying start. All together I liked it very much. I think this fragrance is made for the office, will be invigorating and uplifting, unlikely to suffocate anyone.

At first glance, Santal Odeyar greets us with fruit. I get the impression as if there were an infinite number of them. It's all mixed up tightly, although on the one hand I feel citrus and pear, but there is also a noticeable mango, which I associate with tropical and holiday, although I won't call the scent itself a summer scent or a holiday scent under the palm tree.
SO is sweet, but not enriched, the other notes have already taken care of that, so that there is no exaggeration of sweetness. I get the impression of spices and fruit juice, and here it can associate a bit with Prada's Soleil Au Zenith, although for me these are two different fragrances and one will not replace the other. Santal has a moment where I pick up the fruit with hints of fermentation. You can feel this most when you return to the room where you applied it. However, this is only a transitional phase. I don't sense the flowers too much, unlike the resins, which thicken the fragrance and give it a deeper tone. The sandalwood background is discreet. The fragrance has been spun richly with a hint of spiciness, there's a lot going on in it, it's cheerful, elegant and very positive. Persistence is good, it's a shame that on me there is a problem with projection, it gets too close to the skin too quickly. As for me, a year-round fragrance.

The opening is strongly fruity. Mainly you can smell mango, juicy and dripping with its sticky juices. There is also sweet and syrupy pear. Contrary to appearances, overall it is not too sweet at all, as there is tangerine and sharper bergamot to balance the sweetness. A truly paradisiacal, tropical atmosphere, but there's more to it than that. At the heart of the aroma are flowers. They were very neatly woven into the other ingredients. The aroma was turned up with aromatic, fragrant resins. The undertone is of sandalwood, which is not at all very abundant, nor dominant as the name might indicate.
Santal Odeyar is a rich, oriental, elegant, aromatic, ambery fragrance. Warm, balsamic, sunny, powdery, spicy. In the vein of Prada's Mirages Soleil au Zenith, but it is nothing twinned, but indeed similar in some ways.

It's a gorgeous fragrance, I haven't met such fragrances for a long time, looking at the pyramid I wouldn't say it's mine at all. In the end - love, it starts with a little bergamot/mandarin, but immediately passes and further it is shimmering fruit notes, which are difficult to separate, but it is not juice multifruit, but some outlandish rare fruit - pear-mango-mandarin, from which drips thick sweet juice with slightly piney notes of mango skin. But the aroma is not gourmand, you can hardly hear flowers, they only beautifully frame the inedible fruitiness, and sandalwood and benzoin add depth without weighing down the fragrance. This fragrance is very holistic, for me it's more about fruit and woodiness or a tree of life with fruit and flowers in a magical garden, as it says on the Chopard website. Santal Odeyar is warm, sparkling, shimmering, quite sweet and woody. I recommend you to test it if you like this direction (although I don't, but I really liked it) or vice versa, if there is something missing in most fruity fragrances. I'll wear it in the summer and early fall, it's his time! With Good Girl Kilian there is no resemblance at all, there are very ripe fruits and wood, and there are white flowers and apricot yogurt.
