The One Royal Night by Dolce&Gabbana is a Amber Woody fragrance for men. The One Royal Night was launched in 2015. Top notes are Cardamom and Basil; middle notes are Nutmeg and Pear Wood; base notes are Amber, Sandalwood, Cedar and Labdanum.

Announced as mysterious, sophisticated and extremely masculine, the new exclusive fragrance The One Royal Night is out in fall 2015 and represents an oriental edition of the original The One for Men fragrance from 2008. Available exclusively in selected stores around the world, this new addition to the Dolce & Gabbana The One collection offers a fragrant journey to the Middle East.

Its oriental - woody composition begins with notes of cardamom (two types of cardamom oil) and basil. Wild pear wood, a dry wood with a leathery note, and spicy nutmeg form the heart, followed by the oriental base of amber, cedar, sandalwood and labdanum.

The bottle is decorated with dark hues and golden details such as a rectangular cap, the Arabic name and Dolce & Gabbana The One logo.

Potent version of The One EDP. Not the cozy vibe the latter will bring to you.

The One EDP is, of the few fragrances I have bottles of in the largest size, "the one" I will definitely finish. I love spraying the EDP but, man, Royal Night is superb. I have yet to find a good price on it but not on the 5oz bottle, just 3.3oz would suffice as this is very strong off/on my skin - projects beautifully and longevity is INSANE >9h.

This being a middle-eastern exclusive, I do not smell the ME here as in other fragrances that are to be inspired by it. It is super woody and, without the mentioned note of tobacco, I guess I really don't pick it up in the fragrance though quite similar to the EDP. Not a cozy fragrance as I've mentioned, this is perfect for a night out or even fewer sprays during the day in "not-hot" weather - can be someone's signature to be honest, if mindful of sprays (in my experience, ofc).

Definitely worth up to $90-100 for that 100ml bottle but would love to find on for ~$70 which is what I paid for my large bottle of the EDP (if that much). Increasingly getting more difficult to find in the US, as are Luminous and Mysterious Night.

perlindvall

It's a great series but this one is not oriental at all, it's just very dry wood.

pilotdc

I like the woody base notes with the labdanum tracing it. The spices compliment it well. An oriental shower gel is the impression that it gave me on this wear. I think it's good, but I don't love it. Lasts about 6 hours before it fades out.

Bob777

What a masterpiece of a fragrance unfortunately so hard to find along with Liminous Night, absolutely incredible fragrances Royal Night and Liminous Night nothing can beat this two if we talk about date nights or even clubing absolutely gorgeous! If u find them in ur country don't hesitate buying them absolute fairytale of a fragrances!

Alpal420Terps

Sticks closely to the original DNA but has a fresher opening and tends to drop the tobacco in favour for Woods and can pick up on the cardamom and basil is well balanced and quite a nice flanker to the OG not totally redundant but close enough to be a safe blind buy if you like the one line

Bulkok

It used to be unavailable in Poland for a long time. I thought it was discontinued, but fortunately it's back again and the prices are normal

BigBuck

Similar type of fragrance as Maison Margiela Jazz Club thought much weaker and much less projection. It has The One dna like the other flankers, but it is the weakest and most unremarkable. The One Mysterious Night is by far the best in the entire line, probably because it strays far from the core dna.

Cpaisley22

Am I the only one who finds this to be far more on the fresh/green side than sweet/warm? If I were to blind test it I would guess it's a spring oriented fragrance with 100% confidence. I'm guessing that's the pear wood accord, but whatever it is, it's addicting as hell.

JohnMurrell

The pear wood is a fantasy note emulating a pear tree, and on my skin it’s very prominent. It works very well with The One dna. Because of this, it does separate itself from the original and the edp. I have all of the flankers except Luminous Night. I just can’t seem to grab that one at a decent price. Anyway, I think I like this more than the edp, but it’s close. I think they’re different enough NOT to be redundant. The pear wood does add sweetness, so keep that in mind. It is an addicting smell. I get very good longevity, and projection. I sprayed it on a sweater and it was there for weeks.

NezParfumeur

@Bruce661 Thanks. It's such a great fragrance. What a shame it's discontinued.

FlamingPotatoo

Intoxicatingly addictive fragrance. I love it

Bruce661

@NezParfumeur
I believe it was Jean-Christophe Hérault, who also did The One Luminous Night and The One Mysterious Night (among others).

NezParfumeur

Hello all, when was this discontinued? Who is the perfumer behind the fragrance?

TheDogfatherHTX

One of the exclusive Middle Eastern flankers of D&G's The One. This one gets a fair amount of hype, along with it's siblings Mysterious Night and Luminous Night. Let's break it down and see if it's worth the hype it gets;

Scent:
Opening is sweet and spicy. You get the cardamom right away, some spice and sweetness from the nutmeg and amber, and a bit of woods in the background. It actually reminds me a little bit of Dr. Pepper or root beer. Very quickly, within a few minutes of spraying it on, the sweetness starts getting dialed back and the woods and labdanum start coming to the foreground. In the dry down is where the notes start to balance each other out and the woodiness is a lot easier to pick up on. For comparative purposes, The One EDP is cardamom heavy throughout with tobacco and just a little bit of woodiness. The One Royal Night is sweeter with cardamom, amber, and woods sharing the stage equally.

Performance:
Initial projection is moderate, radiating to about arms length. Sillage is stronger, leaving a longer scent trail than the projection, about 6 feet. However, this quickly died off. After a few hours the projection was only about 12 inches, and the scent trail was only noticeable to my wife is she was walking directly behind me. Altogether this lasted about 8-10 hours on me before it was gone.

When to wear:
This is a fall/winter scent, most suited for evening wear but could be done in the day as well. This is not an office friendly scent.

Blind buy:
This is a safe blind buy if you like The One line. It retains a lot of the same DNA, but adds some really nice woodiness and sweetness to it.

Final verdict:
Almost worth the hype, but not quite. It's a beautiful scent and a great flanker to The One line, but the weak performance holds it back. I like the scent better than The One EDP, but I recognize that it's not as versatile as The One EDP due to it's sweetness. It isn't the best of the three Middle Eastern flankers, and it won't be something I reach for very often, but I'm glad to have it in my collection for special occasions. It's worth mentioning, word in the community is this is getting harder to find. As of writing this review, fragrancenet, fragrancex, and fragrancebuy all have it in stock, but at limited quantities (1 in stock, 2 in stock, etc.). If you are interested, I'd advise you to pull the trigger on it now before you can't get it for a decent price (or at all).

Niko_v

Being that this is a designer line with middle eastern characteristics, this can be worn anytime of the day at any time of the year.

Very safe blind buy in my opinion, there is nothing NOT to like about this frag!
I was extremely lucky with this one too, found it at the same store from where I bought Luminous Night.
It does indeed have a small sillage, but very good performance!

10/10

Arifyusof92

I like how the mix fusion with middle eastern fragrance into this perfume. This smells like spicebomb original edt but less spicy and not too sweet and more woody.
The One DNA is still there but it's just slightly warmer.
To me it's a redundant if you already have The one EDP.

For me if you would like to compare this with the rest of The One line up, "The One Intense" is still the best among them all. This Royal Night might not be for everyone to appreciate its beauty. To me the silage and projection is a bit weak (i might get an decant that is about to expired not sure)

As a sandalwood lover i appreciate this type of perfume because it's rare to have it on the Base Notes.

I give it a 7/10

Stinky whiskey Buttons

Very Strange opening on this one, it smells off fresh olives and sour citrus and a bitter sweetness from the basil its almost like a medeteranian sallad, in a little while this goes away and you get like a musty more dense version off the original perfume version, but a bit less sweet and more fleshy thick basenotes
More potent then the og but a closer more even sillage, i cant say im the biggest fan off the opening, but its very special and i will give it points for that.
Overall a good interpetation off the original, but i would spend my money on this cause you can smell they dident go cheap on the oil/ingridients in this

mccree

Exceptional. Mild and nuanced. Longevity and silage below average. Worth every cent if you can get it

TheRend

Very fruity to my nose! Like a damp, relatively cosy old fruit market where you get whiffs of spices, amongst which cardamom is the most prominent, coming from the surrounding spice stores.
A yummy feminine cardamom that appears more like a fruity accord that stays almost throughout the play.. (maybe the combination of the pear wood note with the cardamom makes me feel like it, I don't know).
And in the end if you are lucky, you might find a very faint amber in the far background.

Definitely unisex. I can easily imagine a mature well-mannered lady wearing this.

Not my style.

5/10

3NO7

Very good stuff. Very similar to the EDP but the tobacco is replaced by cardamom.

Sharper and less watery than the EDP, but with somewhat added longevity and projection.

Mind you the longevity and projection aren’t beast mode, but improved.

Perfect replacement for the EDP, but redundant if you already have the EDP.

That said the EDP is in my top five of all time so this is a love for me. I have no complaints about this and enjoy it very much.

Right up my alley.

Rohaan_A

Very manly and upscaled, smells like a spice market. Classy scent

CologneProdigy

The One Royal Night is a masterpiece. This is a very woody scent with just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness. All the notes here are perfectly balanced and its a very versatile and masculine scent. This is a perfect signature scent and a compliment monster as well. I get great performance 10 hours and it projects about an arms length throughout the entire time.

This is pretty much like taking the original The One and giving it great performance so I usually layer them. The only thing that is missing is the tobacco note, and Royal Night is a bit woodier and a lot denser in a good way (the original EDT feels a lot "airier" comparing to this one).

10/10 fragrance

Yashar_D

I wasn't the biggest fan when I first got this because I found it too sweet through the opening, but it grew on me overall. Once it starts to dry down, it becomes less sweet and starts to project more of the cardamom... and wow, does it smell good then.

It's almost addicting. I keep going back to smell the bottle every once in a while just to get a whiff of it

Robroads

Received this yesterday 3/31/23. This stuff is amazing. Take The One and add more spice less tobacco and sharp notes. The One dna is there completely but warmer, stronger and spicier. Lasted a good 6 hours on multiple zones of application and Sillage was arms length for 1 1/2-2 hours. Having dry skin always shortens my longevity for most frags, but this never had a problem. This smalls soooo good and to me much better than the OG. 9 months old. Batch 2178LM.

BootneyLee

Love the scent, but m'lady is weak I'm afraidst! 3-4 hrs if you really laquer up.

Pgdipoto

This is the best The One flanker. A very nice spicy woody fragrance for a date night, just don't wear too much. Or do, i don't care. Anyway...i wouldn't purchase a full bottle of this just because it has that same sticky/cloying/synthetic/too-rich/suffocating/what-the-hell-is-that/makes-your-throat-constrict-if-you-get-too-close note underneath that's also in spicebomb extreme and The One Luminous Night. From afar that note isn't really noticeable though. This fragrance creates a nice warm oriental aura that's perfect for night time in the cooler seasons. It smells fresh at the same time, though. Would say it's more masculine, but I don't see why a woman couldn't pull this off.

Scentsibilities

Forget the negativity this is a deeper darker version of the D&G One DNA this definitely has a more middle eastern twist which suits that DNA Perfectly.

Starts of very similar to the regular EDP however this has a deeper resinous oudy smokey incensey touch the missing tobacco isn't too evident on my skin due to the smokey component.

This pairs superbly with the fresh cardamom and basil giving this a fresh yet substantial persona intermingling with the creamy luscious sandalwood. This is 10/10 and signature scent worthy for a man that wants to smell bold exotic and distingusged.

Sullii

I really like the scent, basically a darker(ish) version of EDP... Unfortunately not worth it IMO, last about the same amount of time if not just a little bit longer... Save your money.

seldomseen

This was a blind buy for me...

Royal Night is a lackluster flanker. I mainly get a moderate intensity and mash of amber, spices, and sweetness after 15 minutes of spraying and for the lifespan of the fragrance wearing. The overall smell of Royal Night is best described having an underwhelming scent quality and lackluster formulation. In other words, Royal Night lacks the scent composition and quality one would expect from an D&G exclusive release for the Middle Eastern market.

Only buy Royal Night if you can get an 100ML bottle for under $50.00USD 💯 Especially if you're someone that is seeking a high smell to price balance. If money isn't an issue for you, and you've already managed your expectations of Royal Night, and you want to add this flanker to your collection. Hurry up and get yourself a bottle while supplies last! 😛

Overall: 6.5/10

buggaluggachug

This is just not for me.
Take The One Edp and make it a little stronger and powdery, more mature, almost somehow an ashtray smell even though the tobacco is removed and this is what you got. If you are looking for something classy, sophisticated, and mature this is probably for you. The nutmeg in this makes it somehow smell alot like coffee man by oboticario, another scent I couldnt enjoy. Maybe it's something that grows on you but I would much rather smell The One Edp, if it lasted longer than 10 min.

juliano_bamor_

I have 2 bottles one from London P&G Prestige and one from France (BPI) and I can say that they are different formulas the one from France is much bolder spicy and gourmand while the one from London is a The One with fake oud with the same weak silage as the OG, compare and notice the difference.
Coming from France is the best choice

kalilax

So mesmerizing, so elegant, worlds better than the EDT. The spices are an ultimately smooth blend, and the bottle is just pure class!

As far as performance goes, I'm finding it's actually pretty good for the discounted price you are able to get this for these days. Three sprays project well into 4 hours, is vividly detectable by the 6-hour mark, and then lingers as a skin scent for another 2~3 hours. You will easily have a beast performer at 6~8 sprays (but that would be overpowering at the very beginning).

Saifien

Good everyday perfume for fall/winter

ry_ta

This one is a real The One flanker, but it just doesn't do enough to separate itself from The One EDP and make it a must-buy. If you already have the EDP and just want another flanker, this is worth it, but I wouldn't ever buy this instead of original.

DNA is still there (unlike The One Gold), and the weak performance and silage is also there. It doesn't seem to matter how much you spray it; it just doesn't project or last long. I'm normally a 5 spray person, but I did 10 and it lasted maybe 4 hours before fading out. It's still nice but you'll want an atomizer in your jacket pocket to re-up during the night.

opusxpn

Spicy, sweet and woody, the scent is excellent it has a twist to the original but you know it is still the same dna. It is more of a semi formal, formal or date night fragance. I get 6-8 on skin not a big projection but good enough that people close by can enjoy it. It is a pleasurable designer fragrance there are not many bad things I can say about it. I really enjoy it royal night is a keeper. I also got a really good deal on it.

Fragrance_Gkn

Klasik The one benziyor biraz daha odunsu ve tütsülü hali.Arap ülkeleri için yapılmış.

Wavvy

Pardon my French, but this smells fucking amazing. This one is my favorite of the The One exclusive edition collection (Luminous night comes very close) and one of my favorite fragrances in my collection as a whole. This scent is a spicier blend of The One EDP that performs incredibly well. I get 8+ hours on skin without a question and I can still catch whiffs of it on myself after the 8th hour. The smell of warm cardamom blends really well with the woods and the amber. The smell is really high class, unique and elegant and is perfect for fall, winter and cool summer nights. Back up bottle worthy for sure.

Afrikano

Yup this is perfect. As everyone says it’s basically the EDP with added Amber/spices and way better performance. If you have the EDT and want something better you can skip the EDP and go for this in my opinion. The removal of the tobacco also makes this slightly easier to wear for me. This is definitely going to be heavy in my rotation this winter. Got mine for about $49 on Jomashop

marsfragrance

To me, this is the One EDP, but much better performing, and slightly spicier. It projects pretty well and last pretty long. The cardamom top note really works well. I was able to get a great deal on it and I’m glad I did. This is a much closer flanker to the One EDP than the One Intense in my opinion.

robertandsheilaburke

This is much better than the EDP. It lasts a long time and smells great! This is the first of the collection three. It seems everyone of the YouTube reviews suggest it, so I bought it. No regrets! and that dry down!

Afrikano

Jomashop has testers for this going for $49 at the moment. Been eyeing this for a while so I got a bottle, gonna see how I like it once it comes in

Catacal

*Update* So I picked it up today and wow, its quite the scent profile. I feel like I'm at an incense shop whilst being surrounded by spices. Definitely a date night frag.

Catacal

I knew there was something special about this one when I saw the box with Arabic writing.

Cpaisley22

Smells fantastic but I'm getting terrible performance from my bottle (2022 production, 2018IM). Hopefully in time it gets better.

Irvdaman15$

Better than the one. And lasts longer too. Similar to Luminous night minus the date and smokey notes.
9/10 worthy of a signature daily scent if you live in the cold weather .

Muaiyed Ender

One of the best fragrances in my collection, smells very sophisticated and warm, it has great performance on my skin +8 hours and 12+ hours on clothes and thats what only matters.

About this fragrance:
An enhanced Original edt's
performance, with fewer tobacco
notes and more spiciness and woods.

Scent 9/10
Longevity 9/10
Sillage 8/10

Definitely worth picking up.

a2zbeats

Got this in a tester vial from FragranceNet. I like the way this smells on paper, unfortunately doesn't work very well on my skin. On me there's a little bit of a salty and sour hint for the first few hours wearing it. Besides that, smells like a pretty standard male rich amber fragrance, with the cardamom and nutmeg being what primarily stick out to me.

7/10

Heinrich_B

I am not going to describe the scent, You all already know it, and this îs just a variation of that smell, with more woods in the drydown, and some oud trown in it. The performance is quite good, both longevity and projection. It is quite a classy fragrance, i recommend it.

Darokes85

Just received my big boy 5oz bottle of this fragrance today and I’m pleased. It was a blind buy based off reviews I read about the composition reiterating that its basically a better performing version of The One EDP. Well I can attest to the improved performance and longevity but I’m reluctant to say that the smell is similar to the original The One DNA. Don’t get me wrong, there are nuances that are definitely identifiable with the classic composition we’ve all come to know and love but to my nose… this goes in a novel, oriental, decidedly middle eastern direction that most reviewers aren’t mentioning.
The opening, to me, smells like a very woody and sweeter iteration of The One EDP. The woods I smell isn’t ‘oudy’ but nondescript, or I should say not decidedly any specific wood… just woody. I also get a strong pear note that is very similar to the pear you get from Givenchy’s Gentleman EDT and it’s very prominent. There’s also a touch of creamy sweetness as if vanilla is a note despite it not actually being an official note. This is more than likely coming from the amber in the base. These elements are all on top of the original The One DNA.
The mid is where the comparisons to The One EDP really shine. Because of the better performance and longevity of this composition the mid appears about 10 to 15 minutes after application and lingers for about 3 to 4 hours and radiates arms length and is very pleasant and enjoyable. After that the dry down is where things go into an entirely different direction to my nose.
The dry down smells like the dry down of Franck Olivier’s oud touch. That carmel, musky, spicy and woody smell from the Oud Touch composition is what I get. Albeit a much smoother and gentle olfactory experience which is expected but similar nonetheless. Just like Oud Touch, this fragrance does not contain any oud and my nose does not pick it up, but Oud is not the only note that can make a composition ‘middle eastern’ as we all know. It’s the dark spice/wood/sweet combination that middle eastern fragrances have and this middle eastern interpretation is no different. It smells good and is very pleasant as I do enjoy the Arab fragrance style alot, but I know there are people too westernized to get it or appreciate these kind of fragrances. Which is why I felt compelled to write this review letting people who may purchase this fragrance blindly expecting a longer lasting and stronger The One EDP based off these misleading reviews only to get a very middle eastern fragrance and end up disappointed. To sum it up its about 50% The One DNA with 50% middle eastern flair. If you’re inclined towards middle eastern scents, I’d say GO FOR IT! But if you’re not, buyer beware. You have been warned.

Speedhorn

I have over passed few years as most if not all fragrance addicts/enthusiasts become something of a "Niche Snob". Recently though I picked this up on eBay for a steal. I'm surprised at how much I enjoy this, yes I have the EDP and many moons ago had the edt. (which along with Vera Wang for him were my signature scents) Honestly this is far superior to both the EDT & EDP. I actually think this is close to being a MUST have fragrance.

8.5/10

Ashqelon

Having really enjoyed the original The One in the EDP concentration, I found this one for a good price on a Canadian discounter and decided to pick it up, hearing in the community that the performance on this one exceeded The One in both the EDT and EDP concentrations (with the drawback of losing that memorable tobacco note). Upon first smell, I knew that this one was undoubtedly more special. Royal Night is a fragrance that oozes luxury and sophistication, unequivocally masculine and portrays an image of class that the original concentrations do not convey to me. Royal Night is warm and spicy, giving me impressions of other Middle Eastern fragrances I have encountered in its scent profile through the heavy cardamom and woody notes that I pick up on, however without the sweetness-overload that many fragrances are choosing to release nowadays. With all of this being said, the only thing I struggle with is when I could see myself wearing it - no doubt I would reserve this for special occasions in autumn and in winter. This is a fragrance for collectors, with a beautiful bottle to match this enchanting fragrance.

bpmck78

Finally got my hands on a couple bottles at a reasonable price. I can confirm what most are saying. Royal Night stays more on track with the original as a darker and spicier version of edt and edp. I also think there is more woodiness. I feel Mysterious Night made a left turn with the saffron, oud and rose combo but It's good in it's own right. Royal Night is how EDP should smell. Definitely deserving of a plus 4 rating.

Kri2Sz

Same as the original EDP but way too stronger and spicier. For me the cardamon is too much.
Which one is better? Of course the EDP. That's a masterpiece just the only problem is the performance of it...
The Royal Night is performed very well but in smell it's not so sexy and a bit too much spice.

EddieGravity

Simply put, if you enjoy the smell of the original EDT and EDP, then you will definitely enjoy this one. Smells a lot like the original, but spicier, being the cardamom.

jacked 24/7

Syrupy type sweet. And I know that sounds off putting but it isn’t! My nose and brain connection kinda sucks so I can’t really tell you what all I smell. But damn this is sexy, and surprisingly…. I wore this in 95 degree weather and guess what.. it smelled really darn sexy. It radiated off my skin with a masculine magnetic sensual aroma. Felt like pheromones coming off my skin. Maybe I’m crazy but try this in some humid heat

FragLoverMNE

Spicier then all others The One flankers. To be exact, maybe the best one in performance category. Have the original too, but if you ask me.. This is all you will ever need. 10/10 from D&G.

J.Deft

Ok I sampled this because it was hyped as a date night fragrance. I'm not a fan. On my skin it the cardamom is WAY too strong. Also smells of olives. This has a dry smell. If this frag tones down the cardamom and added a fruity note it would be decent. For now I smell like a entrée at an expensive restaurant.

will.more

It's the original remove the tobacco and add more cardamom.
I blind bought this one. I'll use it for sure but won't repurchase. ;)

makatak

The One EDP is the perfect fragrance, there`s not one note in it I don`t like although unfortunately the performance is still average, the archilles heel of this D&G release. The One Royal Night is now my favourite and flagged replacing my nearly empty TOEDP and now moved to Royal Night. Love it !

aliilo2

Definitely worth the try,gentle scent.
Woody and aromatic scent ,and has the fresh spicy scent from the one grey,if you are a fan of the one line you can safely blind buying this masterpiece.

WhoNose

I hope you like Toy Story because man is this WOODY! I get the original in the background which quickly gets dominated by a TON of woods. I don't get any spices or creaminess, and there's barely any sweetness. Ends up with powdery touches mixed in the base. This is like being in a new log cabin or camping without a fire, even saw dusty at times. It's mature. Something you'll wear for your own enjoyment and not for being sexy imo. Definitely a man's man scent. Projects and lasts very well. About 3 or 4 hrs of whispy projection and 8+ hrs of longevity. I like the bottle. Not bad at all but I wouldn't recommend blind buying this unless you're a collector or you really love the smell of wood on top of more wood. You might do better with the Edp.

Marzepam

Take the One EDP. Rip it out of citrus top note and add more wood … and You get Royal Night. Like the original very safe and easy to wear. Not so much different in any case. If You like original then You will like this flanker as well. Not very oriental to be honest. A nice and polite not offending scent.

Scotty123

The Sandalwood is definitely strong in this one. Soo good though, smells identical to the original with a strong sandalwood note and some richer Amber, a very deep fragrance. Amazing scent, very masculine and sexy. You seriously cannot go wrong with this specific one. As long as D&G doesn’t mess it up and make it weaker, then this is The One to own in the entire line hands down. DO NOT MESS IT D&G!

dlopeztt

Really nice scent
Dark mysterious and sexy
The One edp intensified with cardamom minus the tobacco.

If i had to explain it in my own opinion, Its like the One, but deeper and richer and spicier, much darker and it has this odd tinge of olive juice at times. Sounds weird....but the unique smell from whatever accord is making that note is so interesting and It is pretty bad @ss.

reivilo

The most manly and sexy frangrance from my collection. I feel like King Solomon in his days of glory.

ShloNeedsScents

Amber, amber, amber, deep dark amber! I love this juice! You better get you some, before it's all gone.

Zygoptera

Very nice fragrance but seems overpriced. Also I like it when the cardamom/sandalwood tones come wafting to the forefront, but then at times it gets overpowered by the other stuff- and when that happens it has that bubblegum smell to me (reminds me of 24 gold oud or 1 million paco robanne). Overall a good scent and definitely safe as a blind buy.

Darkstar _ Destroyer

Opens with the warmth and sweetness of cardamom, but with a green edge provided by the basil. Nutmeg gives a slightly spicy offset to the fruity pear.

It dries down beautifully into a rich amber - woody scent. Perfect for cooler evenings.

Another gorgeous fragrance from the line.

Saltychipdust

This is The One EDP’s hot older sister! This is very much what you know DNA wise of the original but with more base and definitely more mature. I get that bit of dare I say “oud-saffron-leather” funk in the opening which lasts only in the top notes then you get a richer EDP dry down. I wish the more exotic top notes hung around longer. This doesn’t really cost much more and should be The One you reach for going forward!!

TheGuv

Lovely sweet dark frag. The dna runs through but this projects nicely and once it dies down it last 10 hrs easy depending on your skin type and how many sprays you prefer and if it’s on you clothes as well. Bought the 150ml as this won’t be around for ever and this will get worn more than the one edp. Day or night for me during the cold months but this will make a great date night scent as the whole line does except the performance is superior to the one edt&edp

Furyjuma

The one royal night has become my favorite from the one line for its likability and performance. Very similar to the other flankers but deeper and richer, at least to me. The one edp had good performance on my skin when it first came out and was never a beast by any means but it was slightly above average. Recently tried it again and was bummed out that it became a poor performer which sucks since I really liked it but I gave the royal night a try and I was very impressed.

Royal Night performed amazing on my skin with 9-10 hrs of longevity and 3-4 hrs of pretty good projection which is saying a lot since not a lot of fragrance that I really enjoy perform on my skin. This fragrance is easily 10/10, it’s a quality fragrance that’s smells amazing, has pretty good performance and gets attention without asking for it. If anyone was wondering about the batch that I have it’s a 2019 formulation.

GiannisP

Nice flanker! This is to me a combination of the one and la nuit de l'homme. I like it more than la nuit but i miss the tobacco from the one edp. I find it interesting and more modern than the two others. The cardamon with the amber give that sweet, spicy effect.

The performance is good, it's similar to the edp which was ok performing on my skin. I get about 6-8 hours longevity with good projection for 1,5 hours. This is very versatile, easy to wear and to like.

Overall, it's a great flanker if you love the one and cardamon! I really miss the tobacco note in this and that's why this is not my favorite flanker (i like the edp a bit more). Give this a try, it's interesting!

DEDMAR

Nice fragrance with good performance. I tested it, liked it, but did not fall in love with it. In the mid it feels very similar to Versace Man (not Eau Fraiche!) which is discontinued, but still possible to get a bit cheaper.

Even though this one might have slightly better performance, I'd advice to go with the original One.

Chesco

Cardamon, light scented wood, some kind of citrus to lighten up the brew (lemon maybe?), and something slightly sour that isn't a good note! (the Basil maybe?), a touch of nutmeg, and a light touch of something spice that's not listed within the note pyramid, i think it's actually white pepper??
This has a more of a 'hot' spiciness to it vs the EDP.

It's good, but not the 'Best'. With that being said, 100% wearable and enjoyable. Feels like one of the formulas that was created out of many that didn't make the final cut when they were making the original 'The One', after the massive fan success of the original they trying to make a lil more money off the name by releasing a few of these formulas as 'Exclusives', but lets be honest here, this is not adventurous enough for anyone to care about. Imho this smells like 2nd Best.

With that being said, 'The One - EDP' is still king of the line series.
I'd highly recommend this if they ever end up at a big discount, but no point in paying full price when the EDP is better. Or, if you prefer a lil bit more spiciness to your scent you could argue to go with this one as well.

3.5/5 Woofs

benjelum

Super Disappointing! I'm head over heels for the original EDP The One, and I barely even recognize its DNA in this. It's completely overwhelming incense, crushing silage of cheap incense smell. after a few hours I could recognize a faint shadow the original DNA, but the next day my clothes still smelled like old women's musk. Glad to have the EDP, and glad i only bought a decant of this.

AldiHarley

Battel is beauty but the juice inside is sofe after 3 mins will become a skin scent. It doesn't worth this much.Don't waste money on this. Longevity is about 6 hours even on the cloth.

Grewal Amrit

In my personal opinion, a much better iteration of "The one".
It seems to start off a bit harsher compared to the one edp which is probably because it starts off spicier rather than starting off with the generic grapefruit top note like the edp does. 20 mins later, it settles into smooth amber and woods with cardamom and other spicy notes. After 2 hr mark, all I smell is some woods with amber but with hints of spicy cardamom. Simple smelling? Might be. But who cares when it's this good. Also, performs a little better than the edp, around 5 hrs on my skin.
I personally hate tobacco and this one ditches it (tobacco never was, is not and never will be classy).
A truly regal and classy version smelling, in my opinion.

seekritdude

Didnt smell out there, middle eastern, spicy, herbal or anything like that to me.

Those only I suppose shocking thing to me that my nose associated the beginning with was more so a fizzy, or bubbly nature.

Id actually describe this as you go to a vending machine, and you order a dolce and gabbana the one. Your can comes out, you pop the top, and before you can get to your drink, your nose is blasted with a bunch of fizz. Like the can of pop got shaken up on its way down. And then as that settles you basically get the one.

Really to my nose is achieving basically the same smell with different notes, maybe slightly darker on the gradient scale, some sandalwood but for the most part besides that fizzy blast at the top its the same great scent..

Performance was kinda like the others, basically just a good lasting skin scent.

If I didnt already have so many bottles of the one I might pick it up, other wise as it is not I cant justify it, but smells fine enough.

alfrued

The idea is poor & executed cheaply
As an Arab, i’ve never cared to try it because of the cheap looking Arabic writing on the bottle.

yaya09

Have a 150 ml bottle. It's not an improvment of The One EDP. It's different. It had the same vibe but it doesn't have the sweetness of the EDP that makes girlz crazy.

Don't waste your money as myself ^^'

By the way there is no oud here.

sachaisthebest

Way better than the one edt and edp. It's a little bit more deep, his the slightest touch of oud, has more spices, more gourmandy, better projection, better sillage and lasts longer. I was at the gas station putting gas in my car and a random man came up to me to ask me what cologne I was wearing because he had to but it, that was the first time I ever wore it.

leogusso

Like his brother "The One Mysterious Night", I found this perfume of a really bad and poor quality. Not deep at all, very synthetic and completely anonymous. Cardamom and nutmeg, the predominant notes, make it an annoyingly sweetish fragrance. A nauseating sweetness for both a men and a women. Real Arabian perfumes are completely different. I believe that all the hype created around this perfume is given only by the brand. Not recommended at all, comparable to any 20$ supermarket perfume.

Andy the Frenchy

A woody cardamom similar to Dunhill Icon Elite in terms of scent (they both have strong notes of cardamom and sandalwood).

More of a day office scent than anything related to night imo. Pretty good, but one can get Icon Elite for a third of the price of this one, noting that IE has a better performance. No need to develop more I think.

Fall/Spring days, 25+

Guinea54

I have owned this fragrance for awhile now. I would say this is probably my favorite in the line because the performance is much better. I would say the performance on this one for me is actually quite good, I get whiffs of it all day long. T

The scent as I have mentioned in a previous review is basically a more woody, spicy version of the one. The accentuated spice and woods lays on top of the patented "The One" DNA. As the fragrance dries down "the one" smell shines. It's a great flanker because it keeps the scent profile of the original but adds a bolder, stronger more spicy/woody touch.

The only downside of the fragrance for me now after having it for a long time is that the heavy spiciness and dark woods can get slightly tiring. It is more of a heavy scent.. But it is a good one

scent 5/5
Performance 4.5/5

uhm

I expected more resemblance to its flankers but , it differs a lot .

Although it doesn´t declare grapefruit , according to fragrantica the wood of pear tree is a note that tries to evoke the fruit and the wood and the truth is that I could notice a sweetness during all its development that doesn´t seem to correspond only to the amber . According to the official website , this note of pear wood also confers an "African" leather aroma , but being honest , I see little leather ...

Woods and spices give the serious and formal counterpoint in the background ( I perceive it rather linear ) since what dominates throughout his life is that sweetness halfway between the warm and the fresh, a quality that is very pleasant and makes the perfume to my liking even it isn´t any paragon of quality.

The performance, I believe that influenced by the fact that I made a split and took off many mls in 5 minutes, I smelled it without problems for many hours, but as I say, this is usually normal when you have the bottle in less than half. in 5 minutes hehe.

Gregoir

I just got delivery of this from a reputable ebay dealer, and was excited to try it out. It was a major disappointment! Smells *nice*, IF you can smell it, but only lasted 20-30 minutes on my skin, hovering all the while as nothing more than a SKIN SCENT. What a complete and utter waste.

Yes, the packaging appears completely authentic, and the matching box/bottle batch code: 8022HM reveals A January 2018 release. What happened to this glorious juice so many rave about???

I'm turned OFF to anything from D&G ever again. Shame.

hullhockey91

This is by far the best in the line!

I am excited I blind bought this. With such an amazingly loved fragrance DNA of the Original and the EDP, this stuff has a deeper-spicier kick which gives it all the more depth.

I don't know if it's more amber or more cardamom, but it's spiciness is so awesome. I feel like this should be called "Dolce & Gabbana The One Extreme."

Excellent stuff! The performance is average, but better than the 2 predecessors. On my first wearing my wife instantly said that I smelled "really good!"

Overall, compared to the other two, this is deeper, spicier and more complex while maintaining the original DNA.

Absolutely worth adding to the collection.

WhaleFingers

Compared to The One EDP, it's a spot on variation. This version does has a manly vibe as others have mentioned, and it gives off a splendid ambiance. Warm, and inviting with the amber/vanilla combo acting as the support to the spices, and sandalwood.

Carries the same wonderful sillage, and lasting power, so if you're looking for a nice flanker to pick up, this is a solid option. If you use The One EDP as a casual/office scent for work, this would be subbed in for a date night out, or a cozy night in.

Worth a full bottle, though grabbing a decant first may be a good option.

Michael Fresh

I like this one a lot more than the EDP version.

It has the same DNA as the original, but with a masculine back bone.

The performance on this one is great, and it does have a luxurious expensive vibe to it.

irfanabuhadi.1

Beautiful oriental version of it's famous original counterpart, The one.
It's starts with the same fruity slightly citrus note but then quickly takes a wonderful new path towards woody and slightly more spicy base notes. Add a wiff of Oud and cardamom and what a delightful gem it's becomes. Lasts a good 8 to 10 hrs on me.
A definite buy for those who like the original and have a nose for the woody Middle Eastern fragrances. One my top five fall to winter fragrances for sure.

Bmcgraw

The One Royal Night opens with bittersweet, candied orange peel which is slightly more pronounced and nuanced then the original eau de parfum. This quickly gives way to a very realistic cardamon, nutty and also slightly bittersweet. The cardamon begins to pop off with the nutty resonance of fresh, mildly pungent curry leaves.

Something mildly, but pleasingly acrid at the borders delineates the territory of this fragrance and also pushes back into the area sprayed. I get the bittersweet peels of preserved, Chinese candied citruses; sun-dried and lightly dusted with the semisweet flavored powders used to make these dry candied preserves. The type you find in a Crackseed shop stored and displayed in large glass jars (a delicacy anyone from Hawaii will readily recognize). Fruits of all kinds are preserved and candied in this way. You can find everything from lemon and orange peels, to entire plums, peaches, and apricots preserved and candied in the traditional Chinese fashion being sold from large glass jars at these shops. There is a smell reminescent of that in this fragrance. A slightly pleasant and comforting medicinal note is mingled with a layer of lightly warmed Indian spices. Spices that are not raw, nor yet even the slightest bit browned.

The original dna of the eau de parfum is strongly apparent and holds everything together. Very similar to the original but this composition is a bit richer and darker, with a touch more of exotic spices and a mellowed medicinal nuance. The strongest spice of which is the natural smelling lightly toasted cardamon.

Exquisite and gorgeous, the development of The One Royal Night progresses a little less soapy than the original eau de parfum. Like previously mentioned, there is a slight medicinal nuance which comes off very rich, luxurious and very, very nice, comforting, and highly sophisticated. This nuance is not a detractor in any way, and instead brings a polished and mysterious character of sophistication to the fragrance.

Reminds me of a slightly dimmed room, elegant glass windows with natural, darkened wood furniture. A desk covered in books, maps, periodicals, and a silk tie. A worldly study with refined and elegant fixtures. Absolutely wonderful!!

kazzaz

Well, did not like it, sillage and longevity are average.

atarilynx

I guess a "Royal Night" involves caramel. Lots and lots of caramel.

I'll say that as a whole I am not a gourmand fragrance fan. So you can take my review with that grain of salt.

I have liked "The One", but it hasn't really stood out to me. I did recently smell The One Grey, and I liked the grapefruit accord.

This however , is quality and luxurious. The caramel scent comes from the "amber" (vanilla, benzoin, labdanum) and while it is overpowering at first, it does calm down, but is still present.

I like cardamom in other scents, which is probably why I haven't washed this one off my hand yet.

I personally don't like it, but I'm open minded enough to appreciate the quality.

Frag World Reviewer

I love this juice! It smells like the The One just with an Eastern musk/oud vibe. #FragWorld

Imagine a quiet night, but full of creative energy. This is my favourite fragrance for such time. Soft combination of amber & oud, just to add soft colour to imaginations. Always comfortable to wear it when I am alone, enjoying long creative time alone. And take the scent into good sleeps.

Surely sometimes I wear it for business meetings etc. But for me, this is the best for the me-times.

Jessica777

Love it! Totally unisex !
Definitely needs a hot summer day - it settles beautifully on my skin, such a lovely creamy amber… Love love love! :)

doc_akh

Basically the original (minus some key notes), plus a very subtle spritz of Gucci guilty absolute. It’s a pleasant and light skin scent, maybe a hint of middle eastern vibes (false oud note?) Either way, I’m not dying to get this scent, but would love if it were in my collection. So far it is a bit pricier than the others. If I had none I would get the original edp. This is a bit linear and lacks projection. Basically I really like it but it doesn’t quite justify a purchase for me just yet. And it doesn’t replace the original.

CharlieBrown

Where's the tobacco?!?!? It's my favorite note of D&G's The One. This fragrance is the spicier version of the original...minus the tobacco.

raman.salar

I love ❤️It D&G Royal night it’s really amazing!! Smell
For first time I smell Amber and cardamom

rola.asad

I KNOW that this fragrance is marketed for men, but I really enjoy wearing it!
Yes it is masculine but I feel like I’m ok with it!! There are so many sandelwood fragrances that I can’t pull off, as a matter of fact “sandelwood is one the notes that I usually stay away from”, but I really enjoy this fragrance 8.5/10.

ledlight

Something is wrong with D&G fragrances, they used to be long lasting now is only water in the bottle that cost you over the roof,,,the other day i had few d&g fragrances to test,to be honest they last only while you spray it,reminds me on chinese fragrances that cost $2-3 for 100ml bottle...This house of fragrances have to do something to make long lasting perfumes or people will start avoiding purchase,,for now i am FAR FAR away to spend money on any D&G fragrance, because EDP version last only 1h or less...Shame for D&G...

MRDED

The One fragrance with a luxurious Arabian touch
You can wear it in cool summer nights very lasting power

عطر ذا ون مضاف عليه لمسات عربيه فاخره
تستطيع استعماله في ليالي الصيف البارده شي مختلف

Jms710frag

On this one id say its a very nice scent. Very oriental and woody. Although not very unique. You wear this definately on a special night wintery occassion. Its oriental and woody notes are very clear and noticeable from opening till drydown. Sillage is strong with also a good performance. Bottle is fantastic also. Id give it 7.5/10

chiragh

just don't blind buy on this .. i found it too sweet and nothing great !

adel_sss2003

it's just as its name. the One indeed, with Royal feel and quality, and works best in the Night!
one of my favourites ever. glad i found a 150ml bottle in a local store though a little bit expensive but it's worthy!
on clothes this juice lasts for 3 days so i'd be careful and spray it only on skin.

kara_das

Love this parfume. Gave my man one of these bottles, now he smelles rich and expensive all day.

majid24

Simply the best version of THE ONE by D&G!!!
This smells luxurious, creamy and simply majestic..
One sniff and you will instantly fell in love with it.
Great blend of Amber, honey , nutmeg & sandalwood.

Although projection is weak but there is something about this fragrance which leaves an overall classy rich expression.
Not for teenagers or young boys.
8 out of 10 for me.

TheZibe

Ali AD you probably bought a fake...

ScentTower

The One Mysterius Night coming in 2018 as an eastern exclusive!!!

Redfordead1001

Smells exactly like the Edp just a little spicier... absolutley awfull performance, 0 projection and the scent vanishes within 2 hours of spraying on skin.

2017 batch.

Update: may have judged abit too soon, on reflection this holds its own in comparrison to the edt and edp but still pretty close to the skin wearing but stronger than both others.

mauriciolacruz

I love this reinterpretation of the original "The One EDP". Whereas the original is slightly more tobacco wise (a bit "darker"), this one is slightly "brighter" and spicier (with the same DNA though), but hey, extremely refined and delicate Arabian spices.

Perfectly blended and equilibrated. Both excellent. Both exquisite. Both masterpieces. None of them is better than the other, they are just a bit different but both are 10/10.

It smells modern, classy, luxurious.

Absolutely gorgeous!

TheZibe

This smells like what you'd think an Arabian billionaire smells like. Short n sweet

Ps the bottle is beautiful but you could kill somebody with it

AKBhola47

This smells AMAZING! I'm no connoisseur or anything but definitely smells Middle Eastern (probably why it was released there) smells nothing like original to me. It's a scent of its own. I even spray my pillow before bed!

TheZibe

I really like this stuff

The opening isn't the greatest, for the first couple minute it smells like apple cider vinegar gone off but after that it's amazing. Basically The One's DNA but more enriched.

Performance for me is 11/10 ,used 2 sprays in the morning at about 8am and still getting compliments in the evening.

(Note im using this in cool/warm weather +-20° celsius)

Guinea54

Isn't this supposed to be a stronger version of the EDT/EDP? why is the rating so bad then?

For me the opening smells different. More woody for sure and more spices.. but as it dries down the one DNA kicks into gear and it starts smelling more and more like that familiar vibe.. basically become the one.. Its nice.. I like it... The only thing is i hope the performance ends up better than the other two. If so we have a winner

Scent 5/5
Performance not sure yet.

JovanK

The drydown amber/labdanum smells very feminine to me (on paper). Good for colder weather, definitely formal and mature.

basitparekh

One of the most mysterious smells I have ever used. A touch of middle eastern fragrance (not oud). Good performance
Overall 7/10

Caution: Dont spray too much or you will give yourself and others around you a headache.

Bibbly

Why, Why, Why?

Why can't I find a fragrance from 'THE ONE' range which lasts for more than 1 - 2 hours.

One Royal Night is a very classy and mature fragrance. Not a fragrance I would expect anyone under 40 yrs wearing. The bottle gives the impression of an Oud fragrance without that ingrediant but still very much a Middle Eastern fragrance.

I tested this liberally when waiting for a flight from Rome airport. I had a 2 hours wait before having to board by which time I found it hard to find the fragrance on me.

A beautiful fragrance but if I have to re-apply this 4 - 5 times a day it becomes a too expensive option.

obahnas

this is a great fragrance.

on the top note I can smell very rich cardamom and basil notes - and basil adds an oomph to the top note...it then dries down to a full amber note and I think I can also smell nutmeg...and then the final notes are sandalwood...with a hint of amber too

this is just great for winter and fall - but the colder days of fall

MrSoCool

Is it normal I get a pretty thick alcohol smell from the bottle and at initial spray? After that it smells creamier than the original. I haven't smelt the EDP yet

Edit: Hmm maybe that's just the cardamom that my nose isn't adjusted to yet. All smiles now :)

nkosikhona60

The best of the best !!!!! pure heaven

Cesar.A.D

The first time I got the one ,I was like Wow it's incredibly amazing and I don't think dolce & gabbana could've done it any better! But few days ago I was at the duty free and I was attracted by the Arabic letters on a dolce & gabbana the one bottle and I was like whaaat ! So I had to smell and and I was hooked immediately .. the point is dolce & gabbana did make the one smell better, for 125$ i believe it's worth every penny ,well done .

Mahmoudagd

This is definitely better than edt and edp ... more mellow and has a touch of luxury... 8 out of 10 overall.

AMajeedQT

It starts with a blast of cardamom & it doesn't smell really good but it drys down, beautifully, to become almost identical to the original The One.

Between The One, The One Royal Night, & The One EDP, I recommend going for the EDP first, the Original, then Royal Night.

DAMIELLO

Cool

landshark321

Very similar to the standard EDP released in 2015, Dolce and Gabbana's The One Royal Night edition (exclusive to the Middle East and UK, I believe), departs in minor but ultimately uninteresting ways. What I mainly get out of it is the EDP with an additional mix of incense and fruit, so overall, nothing all that special as far as a new fragrance, relative to the original EDP.

Performance is very similar to the original, which is very good, but ultimately the limited availability of this release renders it more expensive. I'll pass on pursuing it further but am happy to have a decant.

dolcethadon

I always enjoyed Dolce & Gabbana The One, EDT & EDP.. So when I first heard about The One Royal Night I had to get my nose on it, & I finally succeeded! The One Royal Night is very much still "The One", although the DNA of The One has been reworked to give it more of an exotic middle eastern vibe.. The One Royal Night does not stray to far from The One but it does have it's own personality.. The One Royal Night opens up fresh & spicy with a strong dose of cardamom & some basil.. Dolce & Gabbana used two different types of cardamom oil in this composition, hence cardamom is a big part of this fragrance & is detectable throughout it's duration.. There are some nice spicy hints of nutmeg in the heart along with pear wood.. As The One Royal Night starts to dry down sandalwood & cedar start to become more detectable & add some depth to the fragrance.. This touch of sandalwood is my favorite part of this fragrance.. A base of amber adds sweetness while a nice amount of labdanum adds an exotic smokiness.. The use of spices, wood notes, & labdanum is what gives this take on "The One" an exotic middle eastern vibe.. The One Royal Night is definitely more suited for the cooler weather although it could still be somewhat versatile, like The One.. The One Royal Night also performs a bit better on my skin than The One EDT, & maybe even a bit better than The One EDP to.. I do see The One Royal Night as more of a mature fragrance than The One, & because it is a bit more of an exotic fragrance it may not be for everyone.. Overall I happen to love The One Royal Night, & I will continue to appreciate it, as I do the original The One.. With the release of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Intenso, Dolce & Gabbana The One Eau De Parfum, & Dolce & Gabbana The One Royal Night, I can finally say that I think Dolce & Gabbana is headed back in the right direction.. I really hope that The One Royal Night stays in production & becomes more widely distributed as it is a great new release!

FabulouslyLazy

I tested this at the airport where they wrongly advertised it as 'the one royal night oud' - just because the bottle shows some words in Arabic (لبل ملكي ؟) it doesn't mean that the perfume includes oud, but anyway... I love the original, both the edt and especially the edp. This one is closer to the edp but at the same time it is also different. I'd dare say that this is less complex, because it has less ingredients and the moment you spray it, it does not develop all the way to the dry-down. What you spray is what you get. Almost immediately. It's a great scent though, with a lot of depth. I have a huge crush on this perfume and I find it incredibly sexy. Love it, love it, love it!

Yum, just received this. This is not a cardamom bomb as some are claiming nor is it identical to the EDT or EDP, it's similar to a degree but it has its own vibe, loving it

AZ

This is a cardamon bomb not for me. The only cardamom fragrance that I like is Bond No. 9 Brooklyn. It dry down has alot in common with The One EdT opening.

AZ

I tried it, just has been released in Abu Dhabi 4 days ago. The drydown smells very similar to original The One. I will test it more give better review.

dolcethadon

@acidnbase - Thanks for the info! Please test this fragrance out some more, and give us a more detailed review.. I am very very interested in this fragrance.. Dolce & Gabbana The One for Men with sandalwood, that sounds great! I hope it will also be available in the west..

acidnbase

okay folks, i got the chance to test this one, it is already available here in Saudi Arabia.. this comes in EdP concentration and i would say it still retains the original The One DNA but this comes off a bit fresh and airy because of the more pronounced cardamom and basil.. Sandalwood and cedar are obviously there "replacing" the tobacco from the original.. i can't gauge the performance yet but will be reporting back soon as i will be testing it more.. i didn't care about the original The One and its flankers but i might get a bottle of this..

mikemuscles21

I suspect many that have voted did not actually try the fragrance.

What are we voting on here. The presentation, the marketing, whether or not you like this brand? Should there be separate voting buttons for those categories.

I just find it confusing when people vote, and I highly suspect they didn't even try it.

Houdini4

Very interesting indeed D&G cashing in on the popularity of Arabic perfumes. A shrewd move. Let's hope it's the long lasting 'The One' many fans have craved and the EDP didn't deliver.

Endymion

Perfect! You guys already voted on love and like, even voted on the intensity of notes, and also on longevity and sillage. YET no one wrote a review on the fragrance actually smelling it.
Pfff...
You guys have the best imaginary olfactory senses!!!

eng.a

Cardamom the great magician with nut meg, basil and sandal wood cant wait for these amazing notes, hope the end result is great as the notes are..

Jaradona

LIKE !
oh, about putting the name in Arabic it means "this is oriental-middle eastern inspired perfume".
It is like when Aramis made the Calligraphy line and the bottles are imprinted with Arabic words.
Can't wait to smell this because I love the taste and smell of basil!

Sam37

putting the name in arabic on a bottle trying to make it exotic! this is so lame and tasteless.
