The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense by Dolce&Gabbana is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense was launched in 2020. The nose behind this fragrance is Violaine Collas. Top notes are Neroli, Green Apple and Italian Mandarin; middle notes are Jasmine, Coconut and Orange Blossom; base notes are Vanilla, Cashmere Wood and Cedar.

"Femininity finds new intensity in The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense, the latest edition in the The Only One line from Dolce&Gabbana Beauty. While The Only One Eau de Parfum celebrated a head-turning glamour that draws admiration from all, and The Only One 2 Eau de Parfum captured the power of desire, The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense now celebrates the most enchanting and fascinating qualities of The Only One woman. The absolute essence of mesmerizing allure and irresistible sensuality, this hypnotic fragrance is bewitching, beguiling and utterly addictive.

The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense builds on the floriental legacy of The Only One line with a captivating new scent. Like the woman it represents, the fragrance is an intricate combination of intense and solar sensuality. Alluringly feminine and irresistibly seductive, its signature lies in the surprising combination of dazzling gold
orange blossom contrasted with hypnotizing black vanilla.

Top notes of sparkling Italian mandarin, crisp green apple accord and golden neroli essence illuminate the radiant floral heart of the fragrance. Notes of dazzling gold orange blossom mingle with the heady sensuality of jasmine absolute, and are softly enveloped by creamy, lush coconut essence, which lends a warm and sunny aura to the scent. Smooth, sweet notes of dark vanilla in the base amplify its addictive quality, underpinned by grounding cedar and cashmere woods.

Maintaining the graphic architectural form of The Only One, the bottle is now reinvented in black, the iconic colour of Dolce&Gabbana, which reflects the hypnotic intensity of the fragrance within. The gold ring detail evokes the radiant elegance of The Only One woman, while the sinuous cursive script conjures her seductive silhouette.

For the video campaign, Italian director Matteo Garrone renewed his collaboration with actress Emilia Clarke. Set in a traditional trattoria in Rome, the film opens with Emilia surrounded by her friends. Encouraged by them, Emilia starts to sing the classic Italian song “Quando, Quando, Quando”, alongside a group of local musicians. Cheered on by the crowd, her natural aura and intense femininity draws the fascination of all around her. For the print campaign, the Morelli Brothers captured the vibrant energy of the scene, showcasing the spontaneous spirit so characteristic of their work."

The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense is available as a 30ml Eau de Parfum Intense, 50ml Eau de Parfum Intense and 100ml Eau de Parfum Intense from January 2020.

The Only One Intense is a very seductive, alluring, smooth, creamy vanilla based perfume with floral, fresh, fruity, coconuty nuances.

Like in Light Blue, the green apple note has a very pronounced appearance in the opening of The Only One Intense. Blended with the green apple, here we have sweet mandarin orange and fresh neroli flowers carefully mixed. The heart notes, jasmine and orange blossoms are beautifully paired with a smooth, milky coconut. The cashmeran and vanilla from the base grounds up the flawless blend of white florals and fruits. Smells like a very well balanced scent and I would say an elegant scent! The Only One Intense is probably the most seductive and intoxicating creation of the regular line of Dolce&Gabbana perfumes.

I have few other D&G scents that I love for years and are absolutely amazing creations for the price. Dolce Garden is another of my favourites, but that’s more summertime appropriate scent.

The Only One Intense is a touch more versatile, can be worn during spring, summer and potentially fall season!
It’s very long lasting and projects well. Full transparency, I have two bottles from years ago. I love this perfume! Apparently, it has been reformulated quite recently from other people mention in the comments section. I have an older formulation.

On the same note, lots of people comment on similarities between this and Rouge Malachite, saying that are supposed to be smelling similar. I have not sampled Rouge Malachite so I can’t comment on that at this point in time. But I made it a priority that in my next trip to Italy to get my nose on Rouge Malachite. When that happens, I will add an update here.

I adore The Only One Intense and keep hearing Demi Rawling mentioning how beautiful Rouge Malachite is! And one of her all time favourites. So I feel like I am missing out on something (potentially) even better!

This is my go to for cooler weather. Sweet, dark and sexy. Great longevity and projection.

sntiago

creamy lactonic sweet vanilla-coconut scent 90s type of fragrance. I think it's suitable for adult women who want to smell sweet but not obnoxious. sexy, but not really femme fatale sexy. more like 90s club going b-rate actress sexy. similar to hypnotic poison and black opium but I actually like The only one.
it's very feminine and lactonic. suitable for both summer (nights) and winter. lotion-y vibes. despite not being very heavy in general (no woods, patchouli, tobacco, etc) the creaminess from the cashmeran doesn't make it light so I don't think I would wear this to the beach or summer daylight.

Erin Hillier

There is something VERY alluring about this perfume. Definitely a night time wear. It's dark, sweet, a little insensy. I bath myself in this and later it with Versace Crystal Noir EDT. It's strong, 6-8hrs and people will definitely some you.

Vanillesaf

Gorgeous bottle.
Loved it in store but on me, we don't mesh. Something in there I can't stand and I'm trying to figure it out to avoid in other scents.
I wish i could love it

SandyToess

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Zara's Soleil Decade was said to be a dupe or similar to this. I bought 2 bottles because I loved it so much, before I learned it's inspired by this. SD is not on Fragrantica and it's sold out/discontinued at Zara atm, although they still have the shimmering body oil. You might snap the perfume on Vinted/ebay. I looooove it and the notes sound right to me, I also find it very similar to Rouge Malachite and in some way to black L'interdit. It smells sophisticated.
Aromatix on YouTube, recommended La Uno The One & Only Perfume Intense By Fragrance World as a fab dupe.

addictpiglet

I could swear this has been reformulated. For a while it had been gone from the shelves, impossible to find anywhere, and now it’s back in stock everywhere but I can smell the difference. It used to be much more creamy, now it’s way more citrusy and sharp. The performance is better and the sillage is way more impressive, although I miss the creamy scent.

yukiukiu

Coconutty floral is how I would describe it. Though not coconut in a fresh way, it's coconut in a more warm way. Almost toasted. For me, it's reminiscent of tea or an almond scent as well. It was love at first sniff but when I bought it, the novelty wore away for me. I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Darling of Disquiet

Just wanted to comment this because I have experienced it with multiple fragrances in the past 8 months. Some fragrances really do need to mancerate. This line, L'interdit and the intense, as well as a couple Jimmy Choo fragrances that I've gotten recently they have all improved with maceration. I feel like I have not gotten the best out of many fragrances now that I have taken the time to let things sit. There are around 12 that I have made myself give time to that have really just blew me out of the water once I did and just wanted to share. I'm not "new" with purchasing and loving fragrances but I have started to have a better appreciation for them. So I just wanted to share that this and other ones that are similar really do blossom into how they are intended to perform once given a bit to sit 🪑🖤

Maailman Katselija

I have already reviewed this beauty, but I would like to share some information with you, which might give all fans some hope: at least at Sephora Romania, the product is again available in all three bottle sizes, which makes me believe it's not the case to think about a potential discontinuation. Maybe a new batch has been manufactured.

crissy25

This fragrance is a beautiful, seductive floral. I get the comparisons to Rouge Malachite. There are similarities, but they are not dupes of each other. More like distant cousins. This fragrance stands on its own. I like the sleek black bottle, it fits the perfume. To my nose, I smell mostly jasmine and orange blossom with a creamy, vanilla base. Maybe a touch of coconut. I've heard this may have been discontinued. I hope not. It's gorgeous and my favorite from this line.

Side note: I checked Dolce & Gabbana's US website, this fragrance is not listed if that's relevant.

Longevity: 7/10
Projection: 8/10
Overall Experience: 8.5/10

jdb_

I’ve already reviewed her but I’m revisiting to exclaim about how romantic and sensual this is. It really is intoxicating and smells organic as it warms on the skin! Wore it on our honeymoon and my man will never be the same muahaha

Finally bought a big bottle on fragrancenet and it’s sold out already. Grab this discontinued beauty while you can!

This one is a good reminder for me that fragrances are rather genderless, but they may conjure up images and associations based on which one tags them as "for men" "for women". I tried this one by mistake. My fiancée bought some samples and one evening I found this one and applied generously as I was convinced that this was The One for Men Eau de Parfum. I've not tested the mens version before so I did not know how it should actually smell like. Being sure that this is mens perfume I judged that this is pretty manly, full bodied, rather evening, winter scent suitable for black tie occasion or more relaxed but still in a tie type of event... well...
Now I don't even care about the men's version because Intense, despite being marketed for women, can be easily pulled off by men. This is in the genre ( not a "smells like" , but a group of scents ) of Valentino Uomo Intense, Dior Homme or Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir Parfum. Nice manly fragrance for women...or the othe way round.

vanillaboozygrl

Lusted after her for months & finally got the 100ml. The batch is from end of 2019.

Mine opens citrusy & soon softens.
I dont smell the creamy jasmine from 2023 tester but the dry down is quite tropical, like Yara Tous but softer. A bit upsetting that I already own a $25 scent so similar to this....

It's lovely but I hope to like it more in the warmer months & will update.
Projection thus far is intimate, but it lasts 8 hours on skin.

About a month & multiple test sprays later, it's turned creamier & smoother. Happy to fall in love again.

allduygu

Well blended!! Luxury feeling

gasinveins

The fragrance resembles a smell of a shampoo, presenting a pleasant overall scent. However, I believe there are more enticing sweet fragrance options available.

thepowderprincess

Oh i just got ahold of this one - i first made a mistake and purchased the regular version, but it really holds no candle to this! I dont get the floral notes at all, just a bit of mysterious vanilla and something else.. Kinda reminds me of Black Opium in a way - not in the scent but the feeling i get from it. Such a happy purchase!

Liisa7

Unfortunately, it’s way too mature for me as a 24-year-old woman. It also smells a bit like artificial grapes. Had to wash it away.

Naders29

Beautifully blended.
Ultra feminine white florals with a touch of coconut (not too much coconut to be a tropical perfume).

The cashmeran and vanilla in this gives it a very warm and cozy feeling.

Quite linear without much change on my skin.

Cloe49

I felt in love with this fragrance because of its beautiful and sofisticated sweetness. It is an elegant and seductive mix of coconut and flowers, withouth being offensive or aggressive. The coconut gives creaminess to the fragrance, while the Jasmine and the Orange Blossom makes it very "airy" and a bit fresh.

Longevity is 5/6 hours and on clothes it lasts forever. It is all year round.

HBanta

This stuff is fantastic. It smells modern and has a lovely balance of freshness and sweetness. The coconutty, vanillic, heady white floral, slightly spicy smell of this perfume is really addictive to me as a man. I think women of any age can wear this well if they love it too.

nbabe

A beautiful jasmine & vanilla & orange blossom scent. Quite feminine, it smells like a mother’s neck by giving me that inviting feeling. It may be a crowd pleaser, still I wouldn’t recommend using it in the workplace or during the day without an elegant outfit. The vanilla is similar to the one in Mon Guerlain EDP by Guerlain, so if you like it you may also like this one. I can imagine this would smell so good on the hair too leaving a lovely scent trail as you move. To sum up, nothing groundbreaking, still cozy and pleasing.

moxly

does anyone know a perfume that smells like this that actually lasts? :')
thank u

Ebru Karacan

Nothing special, a safe blind buy for autumn. Cozy, sweater weather fragrance on the mild creamy side. I get so much vanillic orangey vibes and coconut but I could'nt smell jasmine strangely. Feminine but I wouldn't say sexy or young. This one is 25+ age I guess. Overall I like it, a crowd pleaser but nothing hypnotic. I will try this one with Alien to mild down Alien a bit to creamy side, but I don't know it will work out :/

islandgirlmaranda

This is lovely! (Just got it today!) Heart eyes for this one! It shares similar bubble-gummy-ish vibes as the My Way line or the 2 Paradoxes... But this has a hint of coconut! The cashmere wood and vanilla that makes it sexy AF! It is a little strong. A little goes a long way. I think this is great for warm or cool weather. This one is a love for me. It's grown up, mature, sexy, got your ish together type of scents! She's boujee!

Razan Al-Ammar

At first I was expecting more deeper unisex smell, so I got just a tiny bit disappointed about that since it more feminine than what I usually prefer.
Also at first I didn’t pick anything unique or signature worthy, but day after day, and hours after I sprayed it on, I clearly recognized the coconut notes. I like to describe it like “beach in cooler months”. Yes there’s coconut, but it’s not tropical enough since it’s not fruity I guess.
Didn’t pick much citrus notes, it’s more like white bright flowers to me.
If you’re looking for a “so unique” fragrance, I wouldn’t recommend you this one. It has commonly smelled profile to many others, and took me few days to recognize what it’s about since it’s well blended to my nose.
Overall I’m really enjoying it, but I don’t think I will purchase it again since I’m on the hunt of a signature fragrance.

Thykes10

The opening is mainly citrus to my nose but I can slightly pick up on the apple which gives it more of a sweetness. It’s not a tart or crisp type of opening. Once the opening fades, I detect more of a sexy Jasmine not an orange blossom. I would classify it as a feminine evening scent probably better suited for the cooler weather. Strong projection for about two hours but then was much more subtle at the 4-5 hour mark.

Manele2806

I only smell neroli, it ruined the perfume for me I'm very disappointed

marialena888m

Just wanted to drop another review as I’ve sampled Rouge Malachite and I’d like to compare the two. First off, yes they are very similar though not at all dupes. The Only One Intense is definitely the younger one, it’s naughtier and more seductive, Rouge Malachite is smoother, more refined, more elegant and mature. Both are equally womanly, and both give off a sophisticated, ‘dark femme’ vibe, but Rouge Malachite is more formal and linear. I prefer The Only One Intense, and found Rouge Malachite boring and oppressive after awhile. Rouge Malachite has much better longevity (while The Only One Intense disappoints in the longevity department), but both project magnificently (3-4 hours of gorgeous sillage from The Only One Intense before it becomes a skin scent).

jdb_

This is a lovely fragrance that didn’t wow me at first, but the scent bubble it provides is pure class and femininity. I’ve been on a hunt for a sexy jasmine fragrance for a while and though this is close, it’s not quite the only one after all for me! Opening is bright then the white florals (bubblegummy orange blossom + soft earthy jasmine) pop off and linger throughout before drying down to a cashmere woody sweetness . I don’t get coconut in a generic fashion, more fleshy coconut with some sweet cream. Reminds me of sticky rice with coconut ice cream a bit. Definitely a beautiful & exotic vibe. This is subtly sexy and I think I’m looking for a bolder sexiness. Performance is not ideal, but she’s a respectable perfume.

Update: After nearly emptying my sample I decided I need her! It warms up beautifully on the skin with this unique earthy drydown and has the rare ability to translate well in any weather. I’ll just get another scent to be my sexbomb white floral 😅

emilianods75

Lovely white flowers fragrance but for the money it has a terrible longevity and sillage. At least on my skin it lasta 2/3 hours. It is like an expensive body splash. Como on D&G!!!

brandybasisty

I was prepared to love this one because I really like Rouge Malachite- which is said to be similar. The Only One Intense has also gotten a lot of hype from reviewers with whom I share similar tastes. So what a surprise that there is something that repulses me in this scent. I'm wondering if it's a combination of the green apple and something earthy--but It strongly reminds me of kitty litter box odor destroyer spray, or the deodorizer that vet clinics use to mask the smell of urine. It's a shame because it seems like a wellmade fragrance with good performance. I also do not feel a similarity with Rouge Malachite at all. RM is more solar tuberose, herbal clary sage and vanilla, whereas Only One Intense is a grapey orange blossom with touches of Arabian style perfumery.

Youngkilla3000

This fragrance reminds me of Memo Marfa, but sweeter and creamier

Fluffyandpuffy

This is beautiful. I’m just now knowing about it. Very orange blossom forward blended so nicely with coconut vanilla some fruits and a sweetness. Divine.

noche de suerte

What a beautiful fragrance. I was not expecting much with the simple unassuming bottle but the fragrance swoon me away. It's a refined floral with a rich mysterious base. The coconut is perfectly blended and is added to the mix rather than taking over as it does in so many coconut based fragrance. It's a seducing little number and it's becoming my night time signature scent. I would say that it is quite a safe blind buy if the notes resonate with you.

Maria19

SO well blended scent. I can smell white flowers and coconut. This does not resemble the original at all. Just like this could be another D&G fragrance. Stays on my skin for a long time. Just a few sprays and that's it. Warm and aromatic. Not suitable for everyone. And you don't have to like this particular scent. If you liked the original, you may not like this one. The bottle is wonderfully simple and suits this fragrance.

Célia Pais

Smells exactly like Mercedes Woman In Red!! I swear. But it is very good with an excellent fixation. Stick to the soul.

Eman Gheba

On paper I liked it, but gave me a headache when I wore it on skin. Has a similar balmy-ness as rouge malachite, but in my opinion not a dupe.

MichelleSouza

I have heard so many reviews, I love coconut scents, but the only note I get here is a deep grapey jasmine. I live in hot and humid weather, so I don't know if that has any interference. Reminds me a lot of Alien, also noticed that its better on the skin than on clothes

Wendy20

One of my favorite perfumes by far.
It kind of reminds me of Black opium which is still a favorite so I’m not surprised.
This one will definitely turn heads.
10/10 recommend

Maailman Katselija

I usually hate coconut in all its possible forms, but coconut in this perfume is not just bearable, but very pleasant. This play between florals and coconut is so tantalizing and beautiful that I always need to have a backup bottle in my collection. Longevity on my skin goes up to 7-8 hours. Projection: probably around 2-3 hours (my mom visited me 2-3 hours after I applied the fragrance and felt it from more than 1 meter away from me). Love it!

Kiti89

Agree with MellyB73, it smells like Si Fiori. Not note for note but the composition, a tangy fruity scent with creamy vanilla.

IdoleYesIAm

Wow. This one lasts a full 8 hour shift on me. It projects for the first hour but sits close to the skin soon after. I sprayed twice on my neck and twice on each shoulder today. I can still smell it on me after 5+ hours. Its syrupy sweet, not sugary. Also, dense and smoky. I’ve never smelt any tom ford perfumes but i think this smells like ebene fume or bois moraccain or something. There’s something like burning wood in this. I only get the coconut mostly on the dry down. The green apple note, i can smell only from the bottle though. Overall, I like it. Not a love though.

HellsBelle

For some odd reason, this is a dead ringer for Arcana's Queen Crossbones - especially in the drydown.
There's a feeling of honey in it, and something almost incensy, with beautiful white flowers and chewy, fresh coconut.
I am surprised by how much I love this!

morphoevgenia

This is very buttery fragrance. Imagine fragrant body butter, thick and oily, lingering close to skin. Not lactonic, but truly buttery. Coconut is not very prominent, in my opinion. I quite enjoy it. It reminds like a dozen of other perfumes, very popular and likable profile. The bottle is beautiful. Definitely lacks projection and wow effect, but I`d be happy to receive it as a gift.

Fifi3131

BRIDE 👰♂ PERFUME SMELLS DEVINE SO CLASSY 😍 AND RICH CREAMY SWEET GOURMAND COCONUTY AND THE TOUCH OF THE CASHMERE give a luxurious touch on it

Revontuli

I don't know what was going on with my nose when I tested this, but reminded me so much of Versace's Crystal Noir. I think someone else mentioned it as well.

Although not listed, I got such a clean ginger note in the background. This smells like Crystal Noir with coconut and sweetness amped up.

I LOVE this scent, it's very intoxicating and sexy on the darker side. Will be adding it to my collection.

kaz13

lovely scent- really grapey opening, followed by a sweet, cozy coconut/woody dry down. my only grievance is the longevity- it becomes a skin scent on me after like 2 or 3 hours :(

ava96

I know honey is not listed as a note, but I smell honey in addition to the white florals and coconut. This is an intoxicating smell... Really like it, might be full bottle worthy!

suzanne_ronald

JASMINE & ORANGE-BLOSSOM Soaked in SWEET (Coconut) MILK. Aaaahhh.....I came back to this scent after awhile. It's like a jasmine & orange-blossom enfleurage with sweet'n'condensed milk. Eventually the jasmine takes over for what is essentially a sweet & creamy jasmine fragrance. I didn't really get that at first, and was distracted by the creaminess and clean citrus tones of orange-blossom, neroli & faint coconut that initially reminded me of L'Interdit Givenchy although these are different. Underneath those creamy & clean, citrus tones is a succulent grape-leaning jasmine which is likely why this has been compared to jasmine scents like Alien Mugler, although overall they smell different. Overall I get a sweet, creamy, citrus with faint coconut that's more about creaminess, overlaying a full jasmine with prominent near-grape tones. Excellent performance, but don't overspray because this is deceptively intense.

Contrast to Rouge Malachite Armani Prive:
These are different, but there are similarities with creamy, sweet white florals. Rouge Malachite has a more forward tuberose, while TOOI has a more forward jasmine. Both have excellent performance.

Contrast to Alien Goddess Intense Mugler.
These are different, but there are similarities with sweet & creamy white florals. AGI has a forward beachy quality that's dialed way down in TOOI. When the beachy quality is coming forward in AGI, more grape-leaning jasmine is coming forward in TOOI Roughly equivalent performance.

Contrast to Alien Mugler:
These are different, but there are similarities with grape-leaning jasmine. TOOI has a more forward sweet-creamy quality among other things. Both have excellent performance, but newer batches of reformulated Alien can be variable.

Contrast to Dolce Garden Dolce&Gabbana:
These are different, but both are composed by perfumer Violaine Collas and both are sweet & lactonic with coconut. Dolce Garden has a more forward tropical quality that's more milky than creamy but you will catch a fleeting glimpse of it as TOOI dries down.

Contrast to Roberto Cavalli Roberto Cavalli:
These are different, but there are similarities after the openings with super sweet grape-leaning jasmine from the heart into the drydown. TOOI has a forward creamy quality that's dialed way down in RC. Roughly equivalent performance, but RCRC has a louder scent profile so it may seem like a stronger performer to some.

Overall: Gorgeous sweet & creamy jasmine scent for jasmine lovers or haters with excellent performance IMHO. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Bibi16

This smells NOTHING like any in the 'reminds me of' section, I own some of them but tested almost all.
All I get is Minty Mint Mint lol!!! Neroli reigns supreme in here. Waiting to test in winter to see if I end up liking it.
Not blind buy safe !

Edit: 05/08/23
The mint note is now non-existent, I like it now. I'm now getting the sexy evening or date night vibe from it.

MellyB73

To me this smells so much like Love Don’t Be Shy. And it smells like Si Fiori. Maybe not exactly, but enough that I certainly wouldn’t own all 3. LDBS is much stronger and more potency and longevity whereas this is more closer to the skin. Both very pretty scents but not suited for me. Definitely a sensual snuggle nighttime scent. It’s hot & humid right now too and doesn’t sit well. Maybe better for cooler temps.

Celestial Bleü66

Too sweet. Not enough floral. For my taste.
I'm overdone with vanilla prominent fragrances.
This is Pretty. But, not unusual.
If you like a coconut note. A really nice one, that doesn't smell like suntan lotion.
This is a great choice.
Quality is very good. Just not for me

la.femme.scent

Am I the only one getting black currant? Syrupy, jammy, thick, sweet black currant and a little cassis.
I usually wear this in the winter and in the cold it's a jasmine bomb on me but I decided to try it out in warmer weather and it is sooo sweet! With the tiniest tartness and something green.
It smells good but it seems so different from what I am used to.

thaochipnd

White Floral + Coconut. The sexy, seductive scent reminds me of Mugler Alien's Vibe, but this one is sweeter. It is also lighter and easier to use. If you like Mugler Alien, try this scent. I quite like The Only One Intense, but Mugler Alien is forever in my heart.

Sasha_Lilova

I think this is my fragrance love at first smell and I even blind bought it. I think this would be my signiture scent. In my opinion it's ok for everyday use but also for special occasion. It's best for a cold whether. I really feel the greapy vibe of the smell. It reminds me to Alien original , but its more delicate and girly. Between Alien Goddess and The only one intense the first one is richer and creamier. I really like this DG scent it's feel-good-scent to me. This is me in a bottle.

$ortabroke

One of my absolute favoritessss. This, to me, is a lush, creamy coconut version of Alien. Not like Alien Goddess, which has no semblance of the original Alien to my nose and actually smells like baby wipes (not creamy coconut and definitely not lush at all). This is also long lasting and projects very well.

This is deep and sensual. I often receive compliments on my scent and am known for smelling good, but this scent in particular received a compliment I'll never forget. It drove him nuts and I learned this is a great scent to wear for intimate occasions. I also love to layer this with Ariana Grande's Cloud to sweeten and fluff it up.

xorosexo

I now have both this and Alien Goddess Intense in my collection and while I see the similarities they each shine in their own way. I personally find this more casual, versatile and wearable so I'm wearing this a lot more and I've already made a dent in my bottle. It's really a lovely scent. My only complaint is the performance, I get 4-5 hours tops.

sarp0207

I have sample of that fragrance. If my nose is not blind it smells like libre le perfume to me in a more sweeter way and without flowers. Its so average and knowned for me :/

bathinginblackorchid

Rather nice and grape-y because of the tuberose - I loved this one and bought two bottles as I wore this exclusively for quite a while. But it’s one of those scents that I got tired of eventually and don’t feel like wearing anymore for some reason. Could me by changing olfactory palate, lol.

lovealwaysalisa

Love this. Reminds me a bit of Alien, but prettier and with a fresher neroli and coconut vibe. It has that "grapey" thing in the opening like Alien, but not as in your face. I have to disagree with the comparison below to the Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited. I own that and its almost all creamy milky coconut and musk to my nose. Unlimited lacks the beautiful florals and neroli/apple freshness that The Only One Intense has. The Only One Intense also reminds me of Rouge Malachite like many others have mentioned...but only in the deep drydown...less pepper/spice and easier to wear. Funny there is no Tuberose or Gardenia in this one as that is the effect the mix of florals has to me. Great fragrance!

What a titillating scent for a breezy summer night. A successful blind buy for me. So glad there’s no patchouli to amplify the vanilla, so it actually works for those who live in warmer climates. It is a dark scent for the evenings, like a creamier, more powdery, more vanillic/sweeter Crystal Noir (EdP) minus the spices, woods and soapy note. I smell the sensual white florals and coconut the most, sweetened by a smooth, powdery vanilla. I own Crystal Noir EdP and have always found it abit too harsh smelling on my skin chemistry, I think I will do well layering these two. Do not overspray this one, the coconut has potential to be overwhelming and smell like cheap car freshener. I’m generally not a fan of coconut in perfumery, but it’s blended well here and really complements the white flowers.
Update; it’s like a cross between Crystal Noir (dark white floral-coconut aspect) and Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle (creamy, smooth vanilla aspect). Ofcourse the quality of this scent is not on par with Dior’s sadly discontinued Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle, this one has great projection for a few hours but fades soon after, HP Sensuelle lasted over 12 hours on me, The Only One Intense has moderate longevity on me, about 5-6 hours…maybe it’s my nose? Anyhow, if you’re a fan of Dior’s Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle and you like Crystal Noir EdP but cannot wear it due to the spices, then you need to atleast test this fragrance.
Update x2: wore this scent out and didn’t take my own advice and over-sprayed it, I got compliments left and right and was told I smelled very seductive and expensive. My friends assured me that the sillage was fantastic and anyone passing by would be able to smell it, atleast for the first 3 hours…after that there was very little to no projection, though I can smell it when I put my nose on my skin. D&G needs to work on the longevity of this scent, otherwise it’s THE perfect night out scent.

Well, this does bring all the boys to the yard. I tested this one randomly a few months back and absolutely fell in love. I hardly ever buy a fragrance on the same day as I first try it, but it had only been on my arm for maybe two hours when I went back to the store and bought it. I love Dolce Garden, it has the same creamy coconut vibe, but I gave my bottle away because as much as I loved it, it was too bright somehow. It didn't "melt in with my skin" so to speak, rather sat on top of it. It smells amazing on my friend that got my bottle, so maybe just not a match with me. Anyway, I found what I wanted Dolce Garden to be when I smelled the Only One Intense. That creamy coconut, white florals and vanilla are deep, sensual and just plain amazing. This is one of my few fragrances that I will only ever use during nighttime because of how sexy I feel it is.

In the past year I became single and shortly afterwards I started working close to a bunch of men. Because I was suddenly single and open to meet new friends, I quickly had a large group of new people in my social circle that I frequently go out with. And a large number of the people in that circle are men. I don't think I've had this many men around me since I was at school many years ago. This is relevant because I've never in my life had so many comments on my fragrances until now. Apparently men notice such things. Until now I've gotten compliments on how I smell pretty regularly but it was mostly coming from family members or my ex partners. But now, after simply being around way more men than ever before on regular basis, I get compliments very often. And although yes, I wear my fragrances for myself, and yes, I know that perhaps it's superficial to care much about other people's opinions, I have to admit that the fragrance lover in me is very much enjoying this newfound source of compliments.

And what do the boys love?

The Only One Intense apparently.

I think this one has risen to the top of my most complimented fragrances ever. And on my skin, this one doesn't perform for that long or loud, You have to come into my little personal bubble to smell this. I usually greet my friends with a hug and a kiss on each cheek and it's then when I get the compliments, I doubt people can smell me just by walking past me. And when that hug and kisses happen, I usually hear, "you smell amazing".
I have to admit, I'm loving it. I already loved The Only One Intense before this, it's the "eyes-roll-into-the-back-of-my-head" kind of fragrance for me, but now I love it even more. As a matter of fact, I am going out for drinks tonight. I think I might just put on a beautiful dress and spritz on some Dolce & Gabbana before heading out. It's spring time, the evenings have started to be sunny until close to midnight, excitement fills the air. Why not indulge in some feel good flirting with life tonight...? 💕

Forbiddenjade

Long time lover of D&G here, who spent fortunes to secure bottles of now "vintage" numbers of theirs. This fell way short of any of their masterpieces such as Envy and Feminine. It is (sadly so!) a synthetic, suffocatingly sweet, cloying neroli/coconut/vanilla, with plasticky and bubble gum (tuberose) backing, giving off a vague Alien Goddess vibe, but in a brash and rough way.

It's actually a (bad) cross between Goddess and L'Interdit, unimaginative and on the side of cheap. There's way, WAY better than this around... and for cheaper too (!). Huge no for me despite my love for this house and previous concoctions which I treasure.

Try before you buy, this is not office or dinner safe and being so cloying and creamy not for summer either I suspect. Maybe for a night out clubbing, surely for drink dates. I can understand the appeal - it's right on the bucks for the younger generation - but it's frankly not so good or original. On the positive side of things it's nuclear in projection, so go very easy on the spray....!

deauxBabs

Lil tip-try layering this with Vanilla 28

(the dry down of this is reminiscent of Rouge Malachite)

Elenar10

Complex, well blended creamy smooth coconut floral, best suited for colder weather. Feels classic and timeless. Will not purchase as I am not really into florals, but a very balanced and beautiful scent altogether.

SpaceTrex

Finally got a sample. I had great expectations, especially because of the 'reminds of' section, and I was ready to love it, but it fell short for me. The only one intense manages to combine airy juvenile sweetness of the coconut with alien wanna-be jasmine, which sounds amazing but in reality is too... generic? Like it's not bad, but to my nose it could be some Juicy Couture flanker. I see why people compare it to Alien, the jasmine here is peeping through barely, but it's weak and nowhere near as impressive as Mugler's Alien. I do appreciate the freshness of the apple in the opening though, but it disappears in minutes. Also it somehow reminds me of Girl of Now in how the sweetness is done here, but they are not dupes at all, I'm just getting a similar vibe.

Andreea30

I find it a very classy and pleasant floral-coconut scent. However, it doesn’t last on my skin. I sprayed it in the morning and after 3 hours it was completely gone.

Ayshaa

This is a pleasant floral, coconutty scent. It's very pretty. I don't think the performance is beast mode, but I was able to get whiffs of this perfume for a few hours. I can understand why it's considered sexy. It's been compared to Alien...but I think this is prettier than Alien. Alien sometimes makes me think of bug spray.

Chrisandra

Fantastic perfume, I just love it. Amazing performance both on paper and skin.

alisabutov01

This definitely has become my signature scent for colder seasons, since it's super addicting!
The CREAMINESS - oh my god the creaminess - you cannot ignore how milky and sweet it smells in an aboslutely hypnotizing way, it doesn't sting in the nose like super sweet perfumes do for me, but it calms you and gives you the feeling of sitting in an expensive lounge, wearing a long black dress and a white fluffy fur coat on top.
I just wish it could be more aggressive, since it does not "sit" in the room, but it's only noticeable once you're closer to the skin, which makes me take it with me everywhere I go to reapply the prefume.

But it's a 9/10 I LOVE IT

Acrelune

Intoxicatingly beautiful.
Mature, sophisticated, dark and sexy.
Very different from all the other perfumes from the TO line, I could care less about all the others, but this one is one of my all time favourite fragrances.
I only wish it projected better.

9/10

bermudanurse

I love this perfume it has a nice warm vanilla scent with a woody undertone. It is reasonably strong, will last around half the day before mellowing out.

Melis.t

I don't classify this as coconut heavy perfume. To my nose coconut is in the background supporting the creamy feel of the perfume. I think this has similar vibe as the L'interdit intense. L'interdit intense has that warm creamy feel coming from sesame, here it's replaced by coconut. I ordered a decant thinking it would be a nice summer night perfume however I would rather prefer wearing it in colder months because of the cozy vibe it gave me.

rainydays

This is a truly beautiful, intoxicating white floral. The coconut is strong, but not tropical-- it adds a lactonic quality to the composition. The green apple adds just a touch of tart fruitiness, but the fragrance as a whole is very sweet. Not sugary gourmand sweet, but lush floral sweet. This is what I wanted Love Don't be Shy to be-- that one is too linear and the marshmallow note is too sugary. If you want something more elegant, try this. As far as the comparison to Alien Goddess Intense goes, there are definitely similarities but this smells stronger and of higher quality.

Tony Shades

People would understand this fragrance better if they would ignore the coconut for a second and realize it's not a beachy floral, but actually the Italian version of Dior Addict, Ange ou Demon and such. The coconut in this fragrance only brings a milky creaminess to it, but not the actual flavor. Think outside the box.
PS. The "reminds me of" section for this one is pure nonsense in my opinion, mostly because of the misleading coconut.

Lasura

At first, this was a lot like Alien Goddess to me, and I thought this was too tropical for my taste. But after a while, I started to enjoy the soft vanilja base, really beautiful scent, not too sweet, somehow soft and fresh at the same time. I can see myself wearing this during colder months, autumn especially, this is conforting on those rainy days.

eau de dosa

I love this however it gives me a minor headache. I always get headaches from perfumes heavy with tiare, jasmine or too much gardenia. In this case I believe it’s the orange blossom and neroli in this.

Mtee7

Just got my 100ml bottle of The Only One Intense . Question here why it smells so much like Alien Goddess Intense ? which that I've already have 2 bottles at home now 😥
Gotta let it seats for some times and wear it again and see what's going on ...

jbsherry

This is a beautiful and well-rounded scent. The white florals never pull screechy due to the coconut and woody/vanilla base. The opening of green apple and mandarin is fleeting, but lovely. I’ve only tested RM once, but from what I recall, they are evocative of each other. The jasmine here is not indolic.

This is the only fragrance I’ve smelled that incorporates coconut without pulling tropical- which is a good thing in my book as I’m not a fan of sunscreeny scents. It is extremely versatile and I can see it wearing well in any season/occasion. It evokes a certain coolness vs warmth.

This has a polite sillage; it’s not a projection beast but it’s not meek either. It is a lovely & feminine white floral fragrance with tinges of coconut and citrus that manages to be both elegant and inviting. Gorgeous bottle as well.

lmnsvgz

THIS IS INSANE. This is what Alien Goddess should have smelled like, not that water sh1t they released. This is so good, indulgent, creamy. Coconut done right. Get away from me with those Soleil Blanc-s, Bronze Goddess, Vanilla Vibes sh1ts. THIS IS THE SUMMER COCONUT QUEEN.

Elfin Will

Imagine a non-salty "Olympea EDP" with hints of a non-spicy "Crystal Noir EDP". You get "The Only One Intense" EDP. In a word, this fragrance bewitched me.

I like Olympea but I never bought it because I find it too heady in the long run and therefore a bit nauseating. Not a big fan of the salt it contains either, to be honest. With the vanilla, it sometimes gives an old kitchen smell vibe (a bit like Pure XS from the same brand). On the other hand, I love Crystal Noir with its Coconut note, but I find it a bit too spicy fresh (I like ginger and cardamom, but with the black pepper it's a bit too much). Also I don't appreciate its chunky bottle (and that's one of the reasons I haven't bought it yet! ).

The Only One Intense came to replace the 2 with perfection! When I was in the store few months ago, I was indifferent to many of the scents I was testing and had on my list. Then when I tested The Only One Intense, I opened my eyes wide and was speechless for a moment. It's crazy, it smells so good! I expected to like it, but not that much! Plus, I love its classy mysterious black bottle, just like the juice it contains. This is my new and best favorite after Armani Code Satin (my discontinued favorite).

The Only One Intense is now my signature scent and definitely a compliment getter, especially from boys. It is a perfect balance of everything: Not too sweet, not too strong, not too loud, not too juvenile nor too mature. You can really wear it at any occasion, at any season, without being too much. But you should really love coconut and white flowers.

BUT beware: Don't overspray it! 3 sprays are enough for the whole day. You might hate it at high doses because it is a bit synthetic (at least for my sensitive nose).

9.5/10!!

CathyNoo

A wonderful, feminine scent that reveals its fullness and beauty in warmer temperatures, which is why I love wearing it the most in the summer. Sexy and seductive, 10/10 fragrance for me.

Iristhenurse

I wouldnt say its a girl next door kinda perfume. I can see some people like it and some don't. She is sweet, in a secretive with a little bit of a sinister undertone. I imagine a sexy spy or FBI agent with wear something like this.
She has strong sillage which is great. Doesnt last long on my skin but lasts long on fabric. Good for a date night or I think it is definitely more of a night time perfume.
I would describe her as a mature, very sensual perfume. The cedar and the wood gave the scent a fair bit of depth and maturity and cut back the pure femineity from all the floral notes.

Xela_529

God I hate this one. I don’t get the comparison to Rouge Malachite. RM is a true masterpiece and this is a synthetic hot mess. To say this is a dupe is honestly insulting to the genius nose who created RM (Pascal Gaurin). Not to mention RM is tuberose forward and this is more Jasmin & orange blossom forward— but I digress. Please people, get real!

Kizzyb93

Unfortunately, this for me was rather irritating, and I could not wear this for along the coconut in this was something my nose could not come to grips with. I am quite picky when it comes to certain notes, but with it can be hit or miss. Nothing like the only one (I adore the only one) I did end up selling this

violetelle

I will give this one more time but first impression… I’m underwhelmed. From the reviews I thought it would be a creamy coconut with a bit of freshness from the apple and neroli, that’s what I was hoping for. Instead, it smells v generic to me. I do get the grape soda note that others have picked up on. It also really smells like tuberose to me. It’s not far off from My Way. Disappointing, I really wanted to like this and got it as a gift for Christmas. I’ll give it more time because it might grow on me or develop. It might also be better in the summer. I would recommend trying before you buy with this one and with D&G in general, I find their perfumes really hit or miss and they’re not cheap. Lesson learned for me.

Edit: unfortunately, it still hasn’t grown on me. I do get lots of compliments on this one and people have said it smells expensive. It seems not to translate to me. It’s not awful but I don’t identify with this perfume. I can see how (some) men and (some) teenage girls would like it.

LSAUG

I rated this perfume a like, but it is actually between a like and a meh for me. I will wear it because my husband loves it, just like the commentor below husband. I own RL Woman and The only one intense for me smells a bit similar, but w/ a lot of vanilla and coconut Added and a subtraction of hazelnut. My husband loves vanilla and coconut, I'm a bit ambivalent about both notes quite often. I personally think this is a summer floral, I accidentally hit the spring emoji, I would only wear this in the summer. It has a vacation vibe. Bright almost solar citruses w/ solar white florals blended w/ coconut and vanilla. Very summery, beachy and carefree. I am glad I picked this up though because I will buy it again but for my younger sister, she is wild about perfumes like this, and it will make an excellent gift. The bottle is very classy looking, very luxe.

Edit: 5/22/23 Finally wearing this today and a bit earlier than I wanted to Because it is still spring. I still feel this is a summer beach scent or pretend you are at the beach scent. While still not something I would gravitate towards myself I wear it because others like it, especially my husband. But I have to say it does grow on you if you give it a chance. It is very creamy and rich. Very heady but not in a sophisticated way like Hiram Green's Moon Bloom. I feel this perfume is for a much younger crowd than myself (I'm 52) and for me there is an immaturity here that is out of place for me, but then again, I was never a beach party girl in my youth. I was that girl and now woman who goes to the beach to bird watch and gets annoyed that people are there. I didn't go to swim, surf or party. People seem to love this perfume so I will keep it and wear it. It is a nice perfume w/ fresh fruity top notes of green apple and neroli but as it goes along it becomes all about a very bubblegum sweet orange blossom much like the orange blossom note in YSL Libre Intense and coconut and very sweet vanilla. If you love beachy coconut and vanilla floral perfumes this is one of the best, I have encountered, and this is coming from a person who isn't real thrilled w/ that genre and believe me I have tried to like many of them. The Only One Intense is the best in this genre I have smelled.

Nadia562010

I don't know what magic is in this perfume but it drives my husband wild. I've also got comments from strangers when I wear this.

To me this scent reminds me a lot of my mom and grandma (very comforting). Definitely a candidate in the fall/winter signature scent category!

dancingdear

Oh this is love.
Opens with green apple mixed perfectly with white florals. I the coconut makes the white florals so creamy and youthful without smelling remotely like sunscreen.
Is has a sweetness and tartness that are really balanced so well.
This scent thrives in cooler weather. One of those scents that just makes me feel fresh and joyful on a cold day.

yeesa_

Ive finally found a perfume from D&G that I like!!! Ive tried light blue, light blue intense, pour femme, l'imperatrice 3, the one, the only one, dolce garden and all of them were too basic perfumey or just not my taste. Given the past I had no hope for OOI but I blind bought it based on a ton of reviews. The only one intense is warm coconut with white flowers. I dont find it too strong where it gives me a headache and the dry down is so good and creamy! Nothing like the original the only one (that one was so synthetic and uninspiring).

_NicoleNonya

I love this one more than the original 'The Only One'. I remember when I ordered the set, I got a free candle of this scent. I kept meaning to purchase it and finally remembered it.
This is great for tropical weather with that coconut note.
D&G should continue cranking this out for the millions who live in a tropical climate.
Instant love safe blind buy for Gourmand lovers who love a coconut WATER note. It's not sharp, spray on moisturized skin.

Hibaabdallah

Absolutly love it, it smells so sweet. smells amazing

thefrenchie

It is compared to rouge malachite. To my nose, d&g is smoother

BougieGirlShops

The Only One is one of my favourite fragrances, so if you are looking for an intense version of that, I don't think this is. It is intense, but I am not picking up much of a similar DNA to The Only One. The OG OO is closer to a gourmand with a salty caramel accord. This one is strong in the jasmine and orange blossom with a creamy coconut note. It's pretty in its own right, but I don't see how this is a flanker.

Denu

Perfection - this fragrance has creamy, sweet floral and fruity notes with a delicate coconut that I absolutely adore. I’m late to the party but so glad I know about this one now! I’ll be getting a back up bottle for sure.

It’s fairly warm here today (Australia) and this was fantastic to wear. Went to the beach for a bit and could still detect it after putting on sun lotion. Longevity and sillage are good without being overpowering. I’ll be wearing this one often.

StarryNight1980

I adore this perfume. I adooree the pure female sensuality that it invokes. Woody, vanilla, floral sents leading to an irresistible dance. It's an intoxicating perfume. Please keep this perfume in the stores for eternity. It's pure seduction.

EliiseM

Reminds me of elie saab in white le parfum

DocRach2025

It smells like grape cough syrup or grape bubblegum to me. I feel similarly about Alien though so if you don't get a weird grape smell from that then you might not from this either.

Unlike many other intense flankers, this one really is INTENSE. Don't see the coconut note and think this will be a good summer beach scent because if you wear this is the heat it will choke you out. Unfortunately, its too syrupy sweet for me and I can't smell anything besides cheap grape from it. I will likely be rehoming it.

Kcbear28

This was part of my “just looking for Christmas gifts (perfumes) for people” charade I do every few years. It entails watching YouTube perfume bloggers non stop, writing down names of perfumes that caught my attention, all this from the comfort of my sofa while hubby at work and son at school. Last but not least, going on my trusted online perfume seller website, picking out aforementioned perfumes ,plus whatever that’s on the early Black Friday sale (while researching them on Fragrantica comments, of course lol). Wham, bam, thank you, ma’am.

And this is one of the successful blind buys which I won’t be gifting away as anyone’s Christmas present. Sorry not sorry ;) Strong white florals with the right amount of creaminess. Very luxurious, modern and a little sexy. You can use it all year round if you like white florals as it’s not really cloying in the heat. If not, it’s safer in winter I guess. Projection, silage and longevity are amazing. Pad myself on the back. Well done me!

Wiktoriaaaz

Awh, I bought this baby years a go when I was in college and was just starting out on fragrances, this was actually my first ever blind buy, and first ever LOVE. I wore it day in and day out for the first few months, it’s been a few years and I still grab for it occasionally, and I still fall in love with it everytime. Even after my nose has smelled hundreds of beautiful, well refined, expensive perfumes - this still holds up. I think it’s the only perfume I have from that time that I haven’t sold, my longest trooper.

Creamy jasmine mixed with the very delicate coconut aroma that rounds this out, along with this juicy green apple. So well blended, so creamy, decedent in a non gourmand way. This isn’t warm, this leans to the cooler side. It’s feminine, sweet, sexy. I think I’ll forever have this in my collection!

Allegoria

Was on a coconut/vanilla search at Sephora, when I tested this. Lovely! Just what I was hoping to find.

Got it home - sprayed it on - and the neroli/jasmine screeched at me! How could I have been so wrong?

Instead of panicking, I did what other Fragheads suggest and put it away in the back of the closet for another day.

Today, a foggy cold day, I brought it out again. Timidly sprayed it over a vanilla/coconut lotion - and wow! Gorgeous! The florals were there, but this time they were garden fresh. And the coconut vanilla was right there as well. I can’t imagine how I could have disliked this.

It’s many hours later, and the combination of sweet white florals/coconut/vanilla are wafting around whenever I move. Beautiful. Amazing how a perfume can come into bloom at just the right moment. If you give it a chance.

AleshaA

Beautiful neroli coconut orange blossom and vanilla combo love these notes something grape like which is unusual could be the apple making it unique and different so dreamy for this fall try it you won’t regret

Princessy

The perfect mix between white florals, coconut and orange blossom. It can be worn all year around, but I prefer to wear this one on colder days. The sillage is moderate but it is a long-lasting fragrance.
Layer this with Jasmine Wisp by Rasasi and you will obtain a beast mode coconuty and slightly fruity for night out.
Layer this with Utopica Coco by Kayali and will obtain a more gourmand coconut heaven.
Layer this with Fakhar Rose from Lattafa to obtain a creamy sweet tuberose scent.

strawberrystar

This is a nice cozy scent. It has the same vanilla powderiness as Guess Seductive Noir. I look forward to wearing this when I am relaxing at home during the colder months.

Hannehoney

This is a sweet creamy coconut/vanilla scent. Its so cuddly and soft :) It smells like coconut and vanilla icecream :) I love especially the opening. To me, this is a all year scent and it could be a signature for sure. It lasts on my skin for about 7-8 hours and the sillage is moderate. I think you could wear this to any occasion :)

Dani C.

The only one intense opens with gorgeous white flowers and a citrusy groovy.

The jasmine here resembles the Mugler Alien Jasmine note. For that reason and the added coconut note, The only one intense could easily be an Alien Goddess flanker. Now, the dry down of this fragrance is something else. We have a stunning creamy coconut note that blends beautifully with vanilla and softwoods like Cedar and Cashmere.

So inviting, sexy and cozy at the same time. Sillage is moderate to low and longevity could be better but doesn't all good things come to the end?

Marie20707

I didn’t realize that I was going to like this fragrance as much as I do. It’s moderately sweet, warm and has just enough floral to balance it out without being too floral.

I sometimes like to layer this with Pour Femme Intense also by D&G, which wears nicely with this.

dia_tetty

Its warm, creamy and thick with vanilla, wood and sweetness thats hard to define. Love it. Makes me feel like Im ready for a date, sexy and mysterious. Sometimes I wear it during the day but its definitely a night fragrance.

sibaraa

This is a well done white floral. Not sharp at all. Can easily be a signature scent.

Miss Dolittle

She just arrived. First impression I'm not a happy Teddy. It doesn't seem that strong, it's quite mellow.. I have the OG which is a beast. Shall over spray and go outside to see if there's any improvement. Update later.

Veronica1962

I really loved this perfume, it’s got gorgeous notes of jasmine, vanilla and coconut. It’s so alluring and addictive. It knows how to be original and timeless. 9/10

Nocciola23

This lives up to the hype. Strong woody, vanilla with moments of coconut and neroli. When it says intense, it's not lying. The scent is bold and exceptionally long lasting, I can understand why some can't handle it. I wouldn't blind buy it, test it first before committing.
I think it might be discontinued which is a shame because it's a powerhouse, perfect for cold or warm weather.

love_crizy

Is no one getting versace crystal noir from this ??
Anyway, I LOVE this, Dolce and Gabbana are yet to have a coconut creamy vanilla scent that I don't like.
Although everyone is saying this is date night friendly I think you can easily pull this off in the morning because of that coconut rich creamy base that grounds it in both day or night times as well as winter and summer. Truly a marvel ❤️

baby_lotus

Someone said grape bubblegum and that nailed it.
Smells like grapes if you put it near oranges for too long (?) at first. Then think kids purple grape bubblegum, with coconut water there. The coconut and woods are so far in the background that it leaves me very sad.
This grape thing is not for me.
Also, something about it is headache inducing and chokes me out.
Need to rehome it.

(ETA: I gave it away since it was inducing asthma attacks for me.)

Miss Kittens

This is creamy coconut vanilla woody bomb. But why does this remind me of another perfume in my collection, similar to Alien or La Belle? It's a date night, cool weather scent. This would be too cloying in summertime. It's decent but I'm not in love...

cynthiad623

This is a winter scent strong and sexy beast!

AdalynEverly

First Impressions (sample spray)
I do like this one. It does smell seductive to me. However, I feel like someone that I disliked also was wearing this. I do like this one, and I'll continue to wear it to see how I'm feeling about it.

Slave2scent

I get a slight cinnamon vibe from this on my skin, but it must just be me as I've never seen anyone else say that in reviews. Maybe it's the woods. I don't get any coconut or not much vanilla, but I think these notes are what gives it a slight sweetness and coziness. I can't really pick out any of the individual notes, probably because it just so well blended. On first spray I get a little bit of fruitiness, but that fades and dries down to a warm, sexy alluring fragrance. I really love it

JaeIsFancy

This is a dense white floral that works best in cooler weather. The green apple in the top note gives it a crispness in the opening. The coconut just adds some creaminess. The dry down is cozy but some of the white florals stick around. The silage is good, it leaves a trail and lasts a good 6-8 hours on my skin, longer on clothes. This leans toward the mature side & is classy. I found it a bit nauseating when I tried to wear it during summer but now that it’s cooler again, it’s just right.

V.Norway92

I like it, but sometimes it gets too much. There is something about this that makes it feel mature on me.

It smells good, but it’s not my favourite perfume.
Long lasting.

igalmusic

Wow! What a successful blind buy, I think I've found myself a new signature scent, absolutely stunning fragrance. So perfectly blended, jasmine, orange blossom and vanilla are the most prominent notes, coconut and wood makes it more creamy and deep. I collect perfumes and honestly it's very rare when I get impressed by a fragrance but this is beautiful! And I love the bottle. People say it's similar to Alien... I would say it's more similar to Good Girl

Ana81

Sometimes I like this and other times I absolutely love it. It was a blind buy based on many of the positive reviews here. I personally do like grape bubblegum/candy scents but i don't get much of any of that from this perfume. Someone said it was similar to Armani My Way which is a favorite of mine, however to me they are nothing alike. I agree this is more like Alien which I like. I agree it's easier to wear than Alien too. However, the first time I tried it I thought it was too heavy and would not have agreed then with it being easier to wear than Alien. Not sure why that first spray was so potent. Ever since, maybe 2 weeks now it's very wearable and lighter than the first time I tried it. I put it on late afternoon and went out and about for a few hours. It seemed to fade quickly, I barely detected it an hour later. Most perfumes have poor performance on me. I'm used to scents fading within 3 hours when others claim longevity lasting upwards of 6-8 hours. Anyhow, returned home a few hours later, had dinner and decided to go for a walk with my little one right before sunset. The weather was quite warm today and the early evening was still warm but very pleasant. I sprayed this again before heading out and it was so beautiful then. Definitely a love, creamy and sweet. I did not get any of that sweet creaminess earlier. This is a repurchase since I use it all the time.

Marcelaska

I sprayed this on my skin, and instantly wanted to scrub it off. Something about it is nauseating. Too heavy on the white florals for me, especially the neroli.

fapalm88

I wanted so badly to like TOOI but it is too mature for me.Keep in mind I love TOO. TOOI is white floral, it is not gourmand like its predecessor . TOOI has the beautiful creamy coconut and vanilla that I heard so much about, but on my skin the white florals overpower everything else. This scent reminds me of Alien Goddess except Alien Goddess is more of a blast of Coconut, Vanilla and the Jasmine is in the background. TOOI is basically the opposite to my nose the Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Neroli have a very strong opening, and has a coconutty vanilla dry down.

Shaina87

This is a sexy, warm & sensual fragrance imo. The white florals, coconut, vanilla & woodsy notes are blended beautifully. It's a bit dark but not too dark that I won't wear it during the day. This will really shine in cooler weather. In a way it reminds me of Versace Crystal Noir. They don't smell the same but to my nose they have the same vibe. CN is more shampoo-y and TOOI is more perfume-y if that makes sense.

Udacha

One of my favorites in my 200 plus collection together with The One , which was my signature scent for many years …simply a masterpiece of a fragrance - incredibly balanced and smooth !!! Love love

hi_theclaire

First thing first, I love white flowers in my perfume. I don't like the original The Only One because it is too sweet and smells like "blergh" to my nose. Anyway, when they released the intense version, I was not that interested. Time goes by, I was watching Jus de Rose on YouTube, and she said this smells beautiful, really good white floral perfume.

So I went to the perfume store, sprayed the tester on my wrist and I decided to purchase this. Oh My God, this smells so beautiful. It's not too fresh, not too sweet, it's just this elegant white creamy white flowers.
My husband loves this on me, he said I smell so pretty and feminine, which is rare, he usually said either I smell fresh or good, not feminine.

Such a good one from Dolce & Gabbana.

MagdalenaM

Beautiful grab and go type scent. The composition really hits the sweet spot between sexy but very wearable, its attractive but not too loud. Jasmine, coconut and vanilla, I find that it works for almost all occasions. For me its a more wearable Alien. Great performance. Love it during the colder months when the vanilla really takes center stage.

Jenbug23

This is such a lovely fragrance. This is nothing like the Only One which is one of my faves as well. My skin pulls the green apple the most which I’m grateful for because it’s beautiful. Green apple, creamy muted coconut and jasmine with a musky creamy background Is what I get. Gorgeous

Loevens

This has me a little confused. I don't think it smells like the notes listed. It changes too much on me. The opening smells to me like Olympea Solar and the drydown smells like Pure XS. Two perfumes I really do like, but I don't need more of them. I have watched a lot of positive reviews of this so I was very excited to try it, and it by no means is a bad perfume, just not what I expected.

Lakreutter

This is very pretty. I get orange blossom, jasmine and fruit on opening. There is something very exotic and expensive about this. I get the vanilla and cashmere in the dry down and it’s so good. I was pleasantly surprised after how disappointed I was with The One. It’s a very interesting and intriguing blend and I can’t stop smelling it when I wear it. I like it more than Pour Femme too. I give this 2.5⭐️Out of 3

Eveningrose

I smell jasmine, orange blossom and a slight hint of coconut for the most part. I would not get this scent expecting it to be a coconut scent! It is definitely more white floral ! I love it . Beautiful and intoxicating white floral bouquet 💐! Smells similar to my way by Armani

Jacquis

The Only One Intense is a gorgeous perfume which feels like a blend of Olympea and a coconut perfume like Fawn or M by Mariah Carey. The performance is amazing and this can be used as a signature scent. Not entirely unique but not common either. Great value for such a performance. Completely different from The Only One and not as creamy and warm as Armani Rouge Malachite. Has more “lift” and projection. Sexy, even.

YSLblackopi

Ok, so I've tested a lot of perfumes recently trying to find a good one for summer. I am very sensitive so certain chemical smells in perfume, but I love this one. I honestly think it could work all year round. It opens up with raspberries(?) and orange Blossom. It dries down into a sweet but fresh vanilla coconut that lasts for hours on my skin. Some might think it's generic, but just wear what smells good to you :)

Edemay

Im getting a lot of jasmine in this and I can see why people are reminded of alien, but to me not similar smelling

What this smells like is the FM dupe of Alien Essence Absolue
Except this has an added soapiness and the FM scent smells more natural.

What bothers me about this scent is theres something cheap smelling lurking underneath, maybe its the coconut, coconut usually annoys me

staka01

Love this one. It has a fruity floral opening and a creamy richness which I assume is the coconut, although it does not have a strong coconut smell to me. The sillage is excellent and it lasts all day. I have been wearing it in very hot Arizona climate and I can't get enough of it right now.

gc96

Hello, I am totally in love with this fragrance. Does anybody know a dupe for it ? Maybe an arabic fragrance that smells like DG the only one intense. Thank you

Krem4e363

Секси кокос.. Изсъхването е сладко и кремаво, точно в мой стил😁 Супер парфюм 💯👍

LinnieR

Was recommended this since I really like heavy, dark and strong perfumes. I liked it when I first sprayed it but with the dry down it reminded me of Hypnotic Poison, which I can't stand. It has the same kind of base note/DNA that remind me of vanilla mixed with bug spray. Both give me a headache and even makes me nauseas sometimes

MyAlabasterJar

I was given this for my birthday and I wear it now and then but always thought nothing really special. White floral marshmallow. BUT recently in the winter here I am loving the dry down of this fragrance. It's intimate on the skin but a beautiful salty vanilla dry down. This lingers even after I shower and becomes a part of me just before it disappears. The 'golden hour' of my scent collection. I recommend to pay attention in the final stages of the scent, magical! If only it smelt like this from start to finish.

grapefruit352

This fragrance reminds very much Black Opium edp by YSL. Their pyramids has lots in common: jasmine, cashmere tree, orange blossom, vanilla. Only YSL has coffee note. And this one has more wood and flowers. Very beautiful, seductive, long-lasting! I LOVE IT!

pkng7x

Although I have smelled this prior Initio Psychedelic Love. It’s smells quite very similar, this is just quite sweet and chocolatey, while the Initio ones has more depth and smoke.

bossmama

Strong stuff. Well blended. The opening white floral is the perfumey and bold kind, but still possess some respectful and enjoyable resemblance to the real flower, though it's gone within half an hour or so. Amber vanilla presence during the whole journey. Pretty but also pretty generic, it's just I ended up feeling worried that I'm practically choking other people who are in the same car/elevator with me whenever I wear this due to how much it projects.

Roos88dutch

This is my Dior addict for summer classy coconut jasmin vanilla sent . Great for rainy summer days of evenings . I think it’s really strong and find it to strong for really hot days . Dolce en gabanna garden is similar but more for summer days as a signature sent .

Mondayz

Love at first sniff! Sephora had a discount so I got a 30ml bottle as this was a blind buy for me. Wow, this is a BEAUTY! The jasmin and orange blossom gives this boozy coconut and vanilla a fresh vibe. It's very creamy and warm yet it reminds me of romantic summer nights. It's so gorgeous I'd even consider this a signature. Quite strong however so you don't have to spray much of this one. Already planning to buy a larger bottle. I wouldn't even compare this crystal noir, they're not even related.

Edit: Just ordered myself a 100ml bottle!

tsubaki3031

Avoided blind buying and tried it at Sephora. This is 85% maybe 90% similar to Dolce Garden. It's like they used Dolce Garden as a base and then added high quality tuberose - even though tuberose is not a listed note. To recreate this you could layer Dolce Garden with My Way or Zara's Sublime Epoque. I was underwhelmed as I immediately smelled Dolce Garden, it was unmistakable.

Catmo

This is like a cross between Alien Fusion and Kayali Utopia. I’m not a fan of Alien Fusion and I definitely get orange blossom in this which I’m also not a fan of usually. If you like Alien or Alien Fusion you will probably like this as the jasmine is the most prominent note.

SimonsTux

5/10. I am picky about white floral + coconut. Jasmine too strong. Needs sweetness. Better than Kayali Utopia, will still declutter this tho. Nothing like TOO. Good performance.

Not a safe blind buy. I prefer/suggest more mass appealing coconut: Dolce Garden, Alien Goddess and Crystal Noir EDT.

Gruhlanska96

I genuinely love this one. It is so sexy and mood uplifting. It is perfect for clubbing. The coconut here is so creamy and seductive.

wondervalley666

Ahhh, fresh, nice, relaxing.

I blind bought despite being reluctant to due to the comparisons to Dolce Garden, which I ended up hating as it was one of the most cloying, headache-inducing scent I've tried and the only fragrance I've worn that made me sick to my stomach. The notes in The Only One Intense seemed like it was right up my alley, and I am a big fan of a few other D&G scents, including "The One," so I bought it anyway. Well, thankfully, there is nothing in The Only One Intense that reminds me of Dolce Garden. The coconut here is not plastic and screechy over a sickening fake vanilla base like Garden. Initially I thought TOOI reminded me of a flowery monoi. I had to double check the notes to make sure I wasn't getting tiare flower in the opening. I think the tiare confusion was due to the green apple and neroli - made it smell sweet and candy-like. I saw a review saying "pez" and frankly, that's how my brain reads some sweet tiares, so that makes sense. But quickly within minutes it begins developing into a more unique scent. Unlike the reviewers who seem so upset that this isn't similar to the non-intense/original The Only One, I actually do see a similarity. There's a sweet almost syrupy vibe in TOOI that reminds me of TOO. It has a drydown that makes me think of something in between monoi, Black Opium, Alien Goddess, and Bronze Goddess EDP (not eau fraiche). I like this much more than Bronze Goddess EDP (which I ended up selling as it made me smell like a gran marnier/contreau/triple sec cocktail, it lasted an hour and a half at the most, and that just wasn't my thing). Black Opium took me awhile to love, but it doesn't work for me in the summer as well as it does in cooler weather due to some of the rich notes. This is a great alternative for those who love BO but want something more light and summery. Also a great alternative to Bronze Goddess if you want something better blended, more flowery, well rounded, summery and complex, that will last more than an hour. TOOI isn't as heavy as BO or TOO, but it's stronger and longer lasting than BG. It’s similar to Alien Goddess, especially due to the cashmere note. I wish the longevity was a bit stronger in this scent, but I know I'm going to wear the heck out of it anyway. I only get a few hours out of this fragrance, but I'm a very outdoor-active, exercising, sweaty, intense dry-heat-living type of person, so most modern fragrances need reapplication for me, if I don't swim or shower the fragrance off first. This works for when I only need a fragrance that will last a few hours. I had a bit of a similar performance issue with D&G Pour Femme & the Intense version, which are two of my favorite scents despite some cheapness to them. I work around it by heavily overspraying, often. This perfume requires a similar heavy hand.

Crystal Noir is one of my fav frags, I'd say this fragrance has NOTHING in common with Crystal Noir. I could write a paragraph breaking down how they are different in every possible way and that nobody smelling you would ever confuse the two... just trust me. I wouldn't even say this is a safe blind buy if you're a Crystal Noir fan - they are too different and I think appeal to people who like very different types of scents. I like them both, but I like a lot of different scents and enjoy a wide variety. I don't know/haven't sampled any of the other comparison/reminds me of scents, the comparisons I did list in my review I've owned full bottles of and got to know well. I'd say this fragrance should be sampled first if possible, but I'd guess fans of Black Opium and Bronze Goddess EDP would like this the most.

Jane Doll

I had previously made a review raving about this scent, but after wearing it for a while my mind has changed. It's possible my bottle is a dud. Based on the batch code, it was manufactured a little over six months ago. That being said, this bottle has absolutely no staying power. 30 minutes to an hour is what I get for longevity, and that is with me doing three sprays in one spot on clothes. I do think this scent is a little bit unique, not your typical fruity floral, which is why I gravitated to it in the first place. It seems it is appropriate for most occasions (maybe not the office). I'm disappointed in its performance and don't even dare to wear this out unless I want to bring the full bottle with me. I'm glad it wasn't super expensive in terms of how much a fragrance can cost, but it's definitely expensive considering I just bought a 50mL of body splash. I may sell this fragrance in the future.

Ada1113

Just came here to say that it’s an amazing perfume and a safe blind buy if you like Libre intense by YSL and Girls of now shine by Elie Saab (I have all 3). And despite its similarity with Libre I completely agree with an earlier review saying that it’s worth having both. I just feel that Libre intense might be too much for in the office or social gatherings where you don’t want to stand out too much. I bought it as a safer option for when I don’t want to turn heads for the wrong reasons 😄. Hope that helps!

mussulisa

Smells like jasmine, coconut and vanilla, I like it a lot. It is like creamy jasmine. It is pretty strong though so you shouldn't overspray with it. I would say it's not a safe blind buy. Does not smell like crystal noir to me at all

edit: I like the drydown of this but I don't like the opening and it can be headache inducing, seriously considering getting rid of my bottle...

Ceekel

Dolce and Gabbana the only one Intense is a must have. This is an absolute love for me. This smell is very addictive. Warm, Fresh spring and summer scent. You don't have to think about reaching for this. This could be a Signature scent. Me personally I wear what I like when I like to wear. Definitely full bottle worthy. This last about 4 to 6 hours on my skin but when I overspray 8 or more. Ratings 8.6 out of 10

Lyric82

The reason I bought this was because I had heard people saying that it’s a dupe for Rouge Malachite which happens to be my favorite. I don’t want to buy numerous bottle of RM, because… well it’s expensive. So I thought maybe this will help me preserve what I have of RM since they are discontinuing it. Well, I don’t think they are as similar as everyone else seems to think. I would say that they are related, but not twins. But it’s okay because I love this one too. This is much sweeter than RM, and this has a pretty huge blast of coconut that stays throughout… but I think it’s beautiful and intoxicating in its own right. The sillage is low, but more than a skin scent. If you are standing next to someone, or sitting next to them, they will notice your smell, but you don’t have to worry about choking people out unless you oversprayed. I will happily use this scent when I want a sweet and beachy coconut scent. I think it’s lovely.

RottigrlNYC

It’s nice. For the price I think it’s a very nice perfume, but it doesn’t last more than an hour at most on my skin, if only the opening would last longer. And this is supposed to be the intense. No way is it intense. How weak must the original be. Sooo as I do with all the fragrances I’m not crazy about, I pass it on to hubby. Actually I sneak the bottle next to his other fragrances and tell it to act like it’s always been there. Hubby is none the wiser. It’s actually quite nice. Just not worthy of my collection room. I already have too much and this was a blind buy. Hubby doesn’t just get my blind buy cheapos, I recently spent over $400 on a ROJA Elysium parfum and snuck it next to his other fragrances. Lol I just don’t like it as much as I do the Elysium cologne. So I’ll keep the cologne and pass on the parfum to hubby. Sheesh the man has quite a collection by now. And he doesn’t even know….lol
Or does he…..hmmmm🤔🤔🤔😎

heatshimmr

This is nothing like the Only One, but it is pretty and I was surprised to like it as much as I did. Creamy, sweet coconut floral

baregifaen

This one had to grow on me.. I was not expecting something so far from the original the only one, but I actually prefer the intense version! It is very sexy and classy at the same time. Can`t wait to wear this in the fallwinter time<3

Perumefix

This is beautiful. Rich and deep, but the white florals add a creamy brightness blended with the apple and neroli. I would say this is a masterpiece in this category, however…I’ve recently discovered that Just Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli (released in 2013, possibly discontinued) is the OG of this scent profile. Check it out if you can. It uses Tiare instead of jasmine/coconut which gives the same feel😊

TheSweaterGirl

So, so very glad I ordered a sample first. This was not a hit for me. While not as repulsive as The Only One, this retained much of the same vibe. Although it didn’t have the strong alcohol blast in the opening.

The slight coconut combined with the cedar gave an odd, unpleasant, sunscreen meets bug spray vibe.

Not a safe blind buy. I think this one is pretty unappealing.

Sillage was pretty intimate, a skin scent after 2 hours. Longevity slightly below average(which was a relief to me😅)

Tashrose1

Absolutely gorgeous scent. Always getting compliments with this , it smells quite similar to Crystal noir..

Marika-the-Eternal

It's honestly just a pleasant fragrance. I bought this blind over Crystal Noir, and...well it's OK at best. I get the coconut more over the floral notes so far. What I will say though is that this is a night frag and better for cooler weather. It lasts until the day after on me so it does well in the longevity department as for sillage...it's not enormous so I'm not going noseblind to it at all. Not sure if I'll keep this in my collection.

filipa.dg

Very creamy, sweet and feminine fragrance. Nothing WOW and super extraordinary, but very pleasant. For me it's signature scent worthy and it's not only for cold weather. It has some small similarities with Crystal Noir, but NOTHING to do with Alien - it's not so strong at all and the jasmine in this one is completely different, more natural and creamy smelling.

cacemonster

Ok, so second review after owning it for a while. I kinda fell out of love with it.. for some reason i do not get the same smell at all as when I tried it in store 1st time. And yes I am sure its the same perfume and yes I am sure its not a fake. It is just so different or maybe my smelling changed, my skin changed or i dont know. Now this really is almost sickly to me. It smells firstly very soapy then it become almost masculine on my skin, it is so weird! And very annoying that a perfume i loved so much suddenly is a bleh... i always reach for something else. I will probably store this away for some time and pick it up again during winter and retry it. Where did that lovely grape opening and the pretty white juicy flowers go :( it was so intoxicating!

Edemay

bleh too foody

seannahuffman

I don't know why they created this as an "intense" version of The Only One...this is NOTHING like it. This is basically a heavy Jasmine with coconut, it smells like Dior Addict or Alien with a coconut note. I'm so disappointed. I thought they would have put out an actual intense version of The Only One that would have been deeper, more smokey/woody, creamier, they could have made an amazing intense version, but instead they made another Jasmine fragrance that should stand alone and not be called Intense. The Only One is one of my absolute favorite fragrances, and this is NOTHINH like it! I'm not just disappointed....im sad, disgusted, angry...i really wanted a deeper version of the actual perfume..not this. Its HORRIBLE. It doesn't even make sense . The marketing teams for fragrance companies are obviously high on something..this should have been called Dolce and Gabbana Blanca or something

victoriabarretta

This smelled different than I anticipated from YouTube reviews.

Quite a few people said this can be used year round and I expected it to be slightly lighter and more floral. Possibly more along the lines of Dolce Garden.

This has more weight to it and I am shocked to not see any comparisons to Armani Code. They both share the jasmine, orange blossom vanilla combo and they have the same ‘weight’ to my nose.

None the less - this stuff rocks!

I’ll need to do a bit more testing to see if I can pull it off in Florida summers. It is much less tropical than I imagined even with the coconut note. The coconut note is close if not the same used in Dolce Garden. It’s not the stand out note here.

To me this is elements of Armani Code mixed with Dolce Garden’s neroli and coconut with a dash of Alien’s jasmine.

——

Update: okay so I’ve given this some wear and it does settle nicely and is wearable in summer. My complaint is that the middle, which is my favorite part, only lasts an hour or so. I’d say this only projects for 3-4 hours which is surprising for being the ‘intense’ version.

I still love it and just plan to top it up and overspray.

Also, my 5 year old daughter said it smells like grapes. Lol

perfumesniffer

one of my guilty pleasures is diet grape soda. I know, it’s gross, but once in a while, it’s so good.

this fragrance is kind of the same sentiment. it smells like extremely grapey jasmine. there’s some resemblance to Alien. I think it’s fairly trashy and synthetic, but I bought a 30 mL bottle and am perfectly content wearing this once in a while when I’m in this grapey mood. I don’t smell any coconut at all. It’s mostly a grape + fruity synthetic jasmine type floral. The longevity is barely moderate and the sillage is a blast at first but tapers way down after an hour or two. I don’t think it’s obnoxious but I am the woman who used to wear Amarige as her signature back in the day.

g_kinga

Creamy, coconuty, musky. I miss the complexity, what the original “the one” edp has. Besides that, this is a decent sweet fragrance.

PGak

This is a very dense, thick juice almost gourmand. I get cashmere wood which gives it the thick dark quality, coconut, vanilla, and something reminiscent of grape (think alien). The coconut is just delicious in this and only comes out to play in the cold for me. Sillage is fantastic - huge scent trail. Tons of compliments! Definitely signature-scent worthy!

virna.medina

This one was a blindbuy after watching and reading comments on various websites. On first spray I get a lovely Libre Intense and L'Interdit sophistication. A couple of minutes later I can smell the coconut peaking through.. and instantly the jasmine also came through.. which I'm not very fond of. Some people mention the similarity between the jasmine in alien and this one, frankly I much prefer the Alien jasmine. There's a note that put me off in this and I can't seem to identify what it it and it's driving me crazy. I need to play around with this more, but I found myself reaching for Alien and Libre Intense more than this. Thankfully I went with my gut and only got the 30ml bottle.

LemonLane

Just got this today and I love it. I definitely see the resemblance to Libre Intense upon dry down but not the opening notes and since Libre is my favorite scent, I’m happy. Doesn’t have the sillage or tenacity of Libre but that’s every scent as Libre lasts forever on me.

To me this scent is part YSL Libre Intense, part Rouge Malachite and a touch of Flowerbomb. All in all it’s gorgeous.

firstmate423

This is an absolutely beautiful fragrance! I have a collection of 50 fragrances and I think this is my #1 favorite. The creamy, sweet, floral notes blend together to make this dreamy fragrance. Just gorgeous.

ugly_sara_turns_it_hard

Very Versace crystal noir I think. This one is more creamy - less floral than crystal noir but they’re both white floral-coconut +woody base combos. Wouldn’t confuse one for the other, but they both smell like expensive face cream imo. Very clean, classy, inoffensive, year-round, signature scent, not at all dark or intense, literally smells like a 200$ moisturiser. Safe blind buy, safe gift option too.

iluvminecraft69

less sexy, more classy and brighter version of alien. i really pick up the jasmine. its a cute fragrance.

jassca99

Now that I’ve worn this in winter too, I can say this is a great contender for a signature scent worn all year round! I don’t really get the Alien comparison…well I get they’re both jasmine-dominant, but I am NOT an Alien girl. However, this is 99% identical to Rouge Malachite but slightly fruitier in the opening with greater projection throughout the wear. Lasts all day on me, from when I leave the house to when I return 11 hrs later. And if it catches my clothes, I can get a whiff the next day even with another fragrance on. I can still smell it in the air. It’s just a beautiful jasmine, airy sweet, fresh scent but with a pinch of creaminess from the cashmeran, coconut and vanilla notes. Blended really well together.

Rosemary14

The opening is very similar to L’interdit and all about orange flower. Then it dries down to a creamy, woody, floral very, very similar to Rouge Malachite although it might not be as rich, but it’s definitely rich enough. It differs in the opening being much like a lighter version of RM. But the dry downs are similar both being grapey florals with a very ambery base. In fact I might like this a bit more than RM. It doesn’t have that herbal Sage that RM has. It’s warm, creamy, musky and sexy. An absolute stunner! 💗

Horanghae

Omg, guys, guys, guys, listen!!!
The dry down on this is 95% Far Away by Avon! I'm SO HAPPY❤️❤️❤️ The initial spray is a bit more sexy but after an hour or so it's almost as I'm smelling my forever love again🥰 I first met Far Away in kindergarten when some of my teachers were (I guess) doing/buying Avon and they left one of the catalogs in for us to look at the pictures.
Oh how much we LOVED the scented pages, it was like magic! Just rub your wrist on it and you'll know how that particular fragrance smells like. A very simple yet amazing technology lol. Anyhow I fell in love with Far Away and later bought it a few times in my twenties.
Have been on the lookout for something similar but a bit more elevated and long lasting and with Only One Intense I've finally found it! Last night I've sprayed it on myself for the first time after buying it and in an hour was sniffing around, thinking, why do I feel so nostalgic and comforted? Oh, sweet sweet warm hug in a modern robe, couldn't be happier. If you like gentle, sweet, sexy, cozy orientals give this a try✨
If you dislike heavy coconut scents you ought to test it out first cuz it's definitely strong.

Ps: I have Libre Intense and I don't think they are similar besides having a sweet vanilla in the dry down. Libre is more punchy, bossy, sexy and sharp with the lavender note. You'll be probably like one if you like the other tho

mariakok

Creamy musky coconut with white florals and some spice. I was expecting to hate it because I have the only one and it has a screeching opening but this is lovely! Worth it!

baddieb

I've seen comparisons of this frag to YSL Libre Intense, so I knew I had to grab it because it's my signature scent. They share a lot of the same notes (mandarin, jasmine, orange blossom, vanilla) so the composition is quite similar, but they're different enough to own both. When I compare it to LI, it's more lavender-forward, whereas I get more coconut in TOOI. White floral mixed with vanilla overall, not too strong, and definitely not headache-inducing. I don't get the apple note, though it does kind of "sparkle" in the opening, which makes it kind of remind of the OG Libre. It has the same vibe as LI, very deep, sexy, and cozy, something you could wear in warmer months but I don't think this is necessarily a S/S frag either. The bottle itself is very chic, I think, and tells you what kind of frag this is. Such a gorgeous formulation. Well done D&G!

Edit:
After wearing this and trying it out, I can very safely say you can own both. They're different in the dry down with this one being sweeter and more coconutty as it develops. I think they're more like cousins in a way; they share similar notes but they also express those notes differently and are unique in their own way. If you like LI, you'll also like TOOI and would be a safe blind buy for you (unless you're not a coconut fan). You can and should probably overspray, it doesn't have the same projection/longevity as LI which is unfortunate (with LI I don't have to respray at all).

Meitilberg

Okay, This is a totally love for me!
Mixing This is her by Z&V is so addicting!!

CheesyGarlicBread

The opaque black bottle would suggest a dark and moody fragrance but I find this quite playful. It's like the hottie at the bar that looks, cold, aloof, put-together but then you go up and talk to her and she's completely down to earth and sweet. I am picky about my coconut fragrances so I was a little worried about this specific note as it was a blind buy for me but it works well here. Even though this is quite sugary it maintains its fresh edge. Looking forward to seeing how it develops throughout the day. I think this is suitable as a day or evening fragrance. It's not too tropical so I wouldn't say summer only. I bet it would be amazing in the summer layered with more beachy scents.

WijayantiKusuma

Not a fan of the original The Only One it’s sickeningly sweet for me, so i never care to try on the intense version. But one day i just wanna gain my perfume “dictionary” and decided to buy the 4ml travel size of the intense version. Ended up I’m loving it! It’s jasmine, coconut and woody, a perfect recipe for a sexy, inviting perfume. It’s sweet, warm, floral but not too floral. It’s just the perfect balance of all of the notes. I can see why people compare this to Alien, i think it’s from the jasmine and woody. For me it’s Alien with some sweetness and a hint of coconut, perfect!

ParisLoveXo

Blind bought cause I love white florals but it’s way to woody for me!! All I smell is woody coconut .
NO THANK YOU

Jmama26

This is my baby. I even swoon just looking at this picture and the notes. One of my first perfumes. I will continue to repurchase this throughout my life. It is not my every day perfume. Special occasion yes. I’m hoping to find something that will be similar but less dense for every day wear.

THE ORIGINAL “ THE ONLY ONE” should not even be named the same. Should not even be allowed to sit on the same shelf as this one. It is nasty. Sickly sweet. Sticky. no depth.

I see a lot of reviews saying alien is similar. I’ve seen reviews that alien is great mixed with TOOI. I’m planning to purchase alien and see if it’s a good every day similar to this one. My next one would be alien fusion. Fingers crossed it’s nice.

Ok, so I blind bought this fragrance and I'm keeping it.
However,I will have to say that the opening reminds me a lot of Givenchy L'interdit (which I don't like) but after maybe 15 seconds (yes that fast) it blossoms to something beautiful that is more reminiscent to Rouge Malachite. Happy with this one.

I'm saddened to report that this perfume is a huge dislike for me. My fragrance bestie & my favorite youtuber Ksenja raved about it. Seeing as they love sweet perfumes just like I do, I assumed that it would be just that. Immediately after spraying it, i get hit with the Neroli. That stayed on me for about 1 and a half hours , which is a long time for the first notes. Eventually almost two hours later, I detect some coconut. Unfortunately that disappeared short after, and all i got was orange blossom. it's been close to three hours since I first sprayed the perfume, and I am hoping the base notes will come on strong and kill all of the floral that is currently slapping me in the face! Lesson learned here is that this is way too floral for me , and neroli and I despise each other. The end. lol

Smells nothing like The Only One, which I owned and loved for years. That one is a deep, syrupy-sweet sugar bomb. TOO Intense is a warm, creamy white floral. It's really good, but was driving me nuts because it smelled so similar to something but I couldn't pinpoint what (I've never smelled Rouge Malachite). Then when it got to the drydown stage, it hit me: L'interdit Intense. This is very similar to L'interdit Intense, but swaps the sesame note in that one for coconut here. Both are warm, creamy, almost nutty white florals. Both gorgeous, but since I own the l'interdit, it would be redundant for me to have this as well.

Most useless comment ever, but this is stunning! I love it! I didnt buy it unfortunately, I felt it was too strong, but it really isnt. It actually settle quite nicely. Not too weak, but not loud either. I try to detect the coconut, but I really cant. It must be really well hidden. On me it settle almost like grape bubblegum, it might sound weird, but thats the closest i am able to compare too. I am having a hard time detecting the different notes in this actually, so review might be a little bad, nut really wanted to give my opinion regardless. It is nothing i have ever smelled before, and I just love it love it love it! Need to buy it asap! For me i would use it as a night time perfume in colder monts, that might be every month where I live lol. But I can totally understand those who wear this whenever.

A fruity and unconventional pinacolada. It develops beautifully. For some it may be linear but I love it. There's flowers, burnt sugar, coconuts, it has an opening, heart and base. It's not straight forward. That defo makes it stand out from cheaper coconut - vanilla frags which are majority of drugstore nowadays. It's hard to "sell it", as yes, looking at the notes, it's nothing groundbreaking, but believe me, not all perfumes can do this. It doesn't smell like a coctail or a sunscreen. It smells like an expensive vacation and you get what you pay for.

My husband loves this fragrance.
It was not a love for me at first.
But doing a spray bomb on myself 10 minutes ago, brought me to a conclusion that this fragrance is absolutely amazing 🤩
Sweet- spicy- coconut 🥥
Wow. Just so seductive.
This is for sure going to lure you a man.
I can completely see why my husband black listed this one.
I get a bit of the neroli and citrus in the opening but it immediately turns into a spicy coconut bomb soon after.
So creamy. So smooth. I just adore it.
I’m really surprised that gardenia is not listed in the notes.
The performance is about 6-8 hours.
Probably the best fragrance I’ve smelled from Dolce and Gabbana.
Of course Light Blue is a classic but this one is just plain classy.
The bottle is nice although it could use a heavier lid.
This would be a great fragrance to wear on a night on the town.
Just be prepared for whatever happens later.
💥🔥😍

I see why many people compare this to alien, that jasmine-cedar accord is very very similar to alien's. However it has a prominent coconut note in the opening that makes the difference and makes it way creamier and sweeter. However it fades quickly and then it's when it reminds me the most of alien. I love alien so that's not a problem for me 🥰 I would say this perfume is like a perfect mix of Alien + Versace Crystal Noir, so if you enjoy both you will enjoy this one for sure. I would describe it as an elegant, sexy, creamy white floral scent and i highly recommend it for nights out. However, the only problem i see is the lasting power, it is very weak as many people say in the comments 😅 Lastly, i'll share with you a little trick: if you like coconut but that note doesn't last long on you, you can layer The One Intense with any coconut bodyspray (i have VS coconut passion and love the combo) or EVEN BETTER, if you own Versace Crystal Noir... layer them together and thank me later ✌🏻 you'll have the most beautiful white floral-coconut accord ever 🥰

One of my favourite perfumes. Very well blended. It has everything in it a bit of sweetness, a bit of white florals, a bit of orange Blossom, a bit of coconut, a bit of jasmine-its perfect, you can literally smell all the notes at the same time! The jasmine is so beautiful in this omg, this fragrance is so beautiful I can't describe it anymore then that. The bottle is beautiful and black its VERY expensive looking. This perfume is sexy and bold. It's a memorable scent for sure, I love it. It lasts forever, I get lots of compliments too. I wear this in all seasons snd specifically events/date nights, on the alien comparison-I own both and i'd say this is a less obnoxious version of the two.

so my bf thought he was picking up the original which he and I both liked. when it came I couldn't stop sniffing it. it smelled familiar and I wasn't sure if it was going to be for me. I think it smells like a mix of KKW body II and YSL libre intense. It actually is very reminiscent of libre to me. except this has citrus. This and KKW body 2 share the notes of coconut, neroli, orange blossom, and jasmine as well as citrus notes (here green apple, body 2 has mandarin orange). The vanilla and coconut vibe here also reminds me of alien goddess which is also on my wishlist. So I would say this isn't a unique scent and at first I wasn't sure if I would keep it, especially since he got me the 100ml. But, I'm going to wear this and try it out. I'm starting to grow into and enjoy white florals as long as there's some sweetness. So I will try this one and hope it doesn't give him a headache. I went ahead and ordered the original the only one so I will update. This flanker and the original smell nothing alike. I think this is very suitable for S/S but will be trying now in the winter. I'm hearing it's a good all year rounder.

laceylovesperfume

At first spray this perfume starts with a bang of white flowers and citrusy zest. It then morphs into mainly orange blossom and jasmine. Eventually it settles down into a soft (yet sparkly) floral of mixed jasmine/orange blossom, infused with a hint of coconut and creamy vanilla. This definitely changes as it dries down, and I prefer this scent more once it dries down completely. It opens with a loud bang and becomes a 3ft range kind of scent. A lot of people categorize this as a winter fragrance, but to me this is much more of a spring/summer vibe. I wouldn't even classify this as a "date night only" perfume either. It definitely has a cloy sexiness to it, but is not overpowering. I see this easily being worn every day in any environment you want to feel "put together!" This is a grown up, beautiful fragrance.

Xxtina

This is my top. Such a well-blended fragrance. On me, it lasts forever. Sweet, rich and sexy. I'm not much of a fan of white florals however, the way it's done in this is amazing. Definitely a summer night scent, it really does well in hot weather, but I still wear it all year round because I love it so much!

amina04

Sexy, enchanting, intoxicating. One of my all time favourite fragrances - my eyes literally rolled into the back of my head the first time I smelled it. It is a masterpiece - the mix of white florals with vanilla and coconut is just magical. I wear this all the time because I love it so much, but it would be especially perfect for a warm summer night.

Roos88dutch

Ah summery Dior addict to me , and give me the same vibe as alien . Strong white flowers with creamy vanilla . Don’t like it to wear in cold weather because of the coconut I think is for me more summer evening sent . Luxurious fragrance and veel really feminine when wearing

Tina905

I wanted a fragrance with a coffee note since I personally dont "love" black opium and this hit the spot for me. Dark floral, sexy sweet and a hint of coffee to me.
