What was I thinking, blind buying this😱
I should have trusted Fragrantica reviews...
Lovely beginning, and then I was murdered with patchouli, in a sinthetic way...

assoula17

Citrusy & fruity mixed in with a bit of patchouli to give it and edge and a little musk to mellow it down. The result? A sweet yet sour, generic scent. Nothing mind blowing. It’s nice but not nice enough to make me want to buy it. I prefer girl of now shine over this.

KillerBee123

During my recent travels to Europe I was dashing through Munich’ Duty Free for the little layover I’ve had. Smelled almost everything possible and this was the only one that impressed me. I like strong perfumes lately and this one stayed on me for more than 10 hrs and even longer on my clothes.
Feminine, happy, classy, quite unique. But my biggest surprise was now when I write this to realize that it is Dominique Ropion creation! I can’t believe it.. 😄 How of all the perfumes I liked his! In my humble opinion he have created one of the most memorable perfumes.

yara.xo

this is miles better than regular girl of now, more fruity and tarty but still generic. bit watery and doesn’t last long.

Sassafras23

Testing from a carded sample. At initial impact, it reminded me of La Nuit Trésor. But then I thought it was less sweet: raspberries & lemon zest - that made perfect sense. Towards the middle, the blackcurrant becomes loud. Overall, the perfume seems to be centred on tart blackcurrant. I’ve been wearing it the whole day and still have not reached that reported sweet vanilla stage. Too strident for me to really enjoy. I feel if I were to have it, it would wear me into a headache. But a high-performing perfume if that’s important to you.

Crys_

Tested this in store (but not on my skin), and am surprised to see that grapefruit isn't listed as a note since that was the predominant smell to me. I personally really liked it, but grapefruit is a polarising scent and I'm not sure I want to deal with that.

miiilaala

i have fallen in love with this perfume since the moment i smelled it. it’s my absoulte favourite! i don’t care about these negative reviews, it’s fresh, sexy, sweet, you can layer it and wear it to very occasion.😍

Caseywasey347

Very tart! I was expecting something a little more crowd pleasing and sweet but this is very tart, it’s okay if you get a wiff at arms length but the closer you get the more sour it gets in an unpleasant way, and it’s a quite soapy? It might be the black current that’s ruining it for me but I am finding it too soapy and a little screechy and I can’t really tell if the silage is all that good or if the stench is just like playing in my head cuz I don’t like it, I personally would find this rather headache inducing if around it long enough and in my experience it’s hard to do that

vildeska

This is too strong for me. Not necessarily because of the sweetness, it’s just to harsh.

Sanza

Smells like Gold Sugar and Attraction Rush had a baby together. So for me it's definitely a like. There's a very prominent orange blossom wich I love, but actually don't need because I have such fragrances already. Nothing groundbreaking but very likable. It's fruity-sour-sweet with good longevity.

OTA Mom

Raspberry and currant, quite strong and sour but not noticeably lemon. This Girl is a bit too obnoxious.

Noseygirl

So, I've had this for about a year. Was I initially blown away by the fragrance, no. But was there something in the sent profile that kind of kept me holding on so that I would periodically use it. It was the raspberry and interesting tart profile. Can't really explain. But I took a break and I recently decided that I wanted to use up some of my lesser used fragrances. This being one of them. And now I don't know if it's because I let the bottle sit or if my nose has changed or if it's because of the time of year. But there is this beautiful creaminess that has enveloped the tart raspberry that I previously appreciated. And I put it on before bed and I woke up thinking what is that deliciousness. And it was this fragrance. I am still going to continue to wear it till the bottle is done. But I don't know if it will be repurchase at this point. But right now I think I am enjoying it.

eaudeaesthetic

GON Forever to me is fruity sweet and sour nutty candy ,not overly gourmand with musky underneath . Mass pleasing, easy grab like any other designer's.I think 20 to 40ish ages women still can pull this off .Pretty juice color and bottle design worth a place in my collections

bella1019

I find this fragrance sooo beautiful! I have girl of now lovely which I love but i find that GON lovely is too green, however this is much better. GON forever is so light and feminine and fresh but it’s not a plain basic perfume it’s so unique and I find it very underrated! I bought this for summer and it’s perfect! I love raspberry and citrus so I blind bought this and im so glad, the musk and almond make this so creamy and yummy. I wore this to an 8 hour shift and I could still smell it I’m excited to wear it in the heat, blind buy friendly!

JoLeenS80

This would smell so much better if the musk note was left out. The musk note ruins it for me. It overpowers the almond and the raspberry is non-existent. I smell a tiny bit of lemon and patchouli but mainly the strong musky note is dominant. The drydown is not as unpleasant but this not something i will repurchase.

Kuty22

Finally got rid of this scent, I never liked it, I just wanted to have the whole collection, but I couldn't ever bring myself to wear it.
I'm looking at Shine sideways now, because it stays smelling like Kombucha
GON original - my favorite
GON Lovely - second favorite

Barbarossa

Bought it in winter. Firstly it was too sour and all I get was the lemon peel. Was really disappointed. I let the bottle sit for a few months.
Nowadays I can’t get enough of it. With time the raspberry suddenly appeared in the opening and it stays for whole day. Also the vanilla became prominent in the dry down. And I get hints of almond (really light!) and black berry.
Overall it became tart vanilla berry scent with great protection and longevity as for designer fragrance.
Also the juice is very highly concentrated. It leaves oil trails on skin that disappear after a while.

muglerbarbie

I will say the opening surprised me. Kinda more tarte and less raspberry than I expected but it kinda smells like cleaning supplies to me? I think this definitely needs to be layered with something more sweet for it to work on me

iris.vianzon

With my body chemistry, the dry down of this perfume smells very much like JHAG perfumes. 😅

LiliiiS

This is a tart and sweet, lovely fruityfloral with a yummy nutty-vanilla twist. it's not too much floral or very nutty. the most dominant notes on me are tart and sweet lemon and raspberry and a deliciously sweet almond-vanilla. a delicate, powdery clean rose is barely there and I can only notice it when I'm looking for it.
When I first tried it I thought it's like a brighter, more fresh, less floral, summery version of Jessica Simpson Fancy.I can really detect Fancy's sweet, yummy, creamy almondy floral-vanilla DNA here. imagine Fancy but leave out caramel and replace appricot and pear with tart, refreshing notes of lemon and raspberry which make it a more fruity, less intensly sweet, softer and more summer appropriate relative of Fancy. I like Fancy but I like Elie Saab Girl of Now Forever even more. it has some very small similarities to it's sisters Girl of Now and Girl of Now Shine but it's different enough to be suggestable even if you hate the other two.
make sure to try it if you're into sweet floralfruity fragrances. it's a delightful yet classy and feminine, not too juvenile, floral fruity with better longevity and sillage than most of others in this genre.one of those perfumes that makes me feel pretty and girly and happy.
Edit:
The second time I tried it, it reminded me of Givenchy Live Irresistible. they don't smell similar but they have the same vibe

Honest truth?

Warm cherry jelly beans sitting in the sun.
Candy sweet, to the max.

Just imagine that. Because to me it’s spot on exactly the same smell. No more, no less.

I can smell the individual notes, too, and I recognize the higher quality here.

It’s a good perfume.

Ropion did really well.

But altogether this smells like red licorice (just a wee bit more tart) …or ….cherry jelly beans.

Sweet, tart, CHEWY, candy, cherry.

I must say… appreciate the lasting power as well as the great projection. It’s becoming hard to find solid perfumes like this, these days.

And to those who compare this to Fancy, I don’t feel that myself, but I kinda get why they are compared.

I actually prefer Fancy because of the magnolia and burnt sugar in it. It gives it a wonderful fresh floral aspect, with a darker accord to balance it with.

The difference is that Fancy is a (not very realistic, but very pleasant anyway) caramel with fruit and flowers, while GNF has zero caramel. I actually may have liked this better if it were toffee or caramel instead of marzipan. For example, I love the caramel/toffee in Hanae Mori, and in Jimmy Choo.

I love tart fruit juxtaposed with deep burned sugar notes. Yummy.

But this has none of that. Marzipan isn’t deep or dark enough as a note to bring this fragrance where I want it to be.

Though it’s well done, and though I will enjoy it from time to time, I didn’t need this in my collection, I kinda regret spending money on it, and it’s not a love.

I will say that the Girl of Now falcons are, thus far, my favorite perfume bottles of all time in their design. So gorgeous.
Tempted to get the original just for that beautiful bottle with the blue petals.

tashfi70

This perfume is me in a bottle. I am obsessed with it. It is an instant mood lifter, I feel myself whenever I wear it. I am always in a good mood and feel so pretty and feminine. I love this one.

katiesimpsonhair

This smells just like a blackcurrant / raspberry glacier fruit sweet with a floral base. It’s sweet and fruity and very yummy. It has good longevity and a nice daytime scent for spring and summer. I have just bought this and I keep getting sugary wafts, so nice.

Clairexoxo

I never tried the original Girl of Now, but I tried the Shine and the Forever flankers. Girl of Now Forever smells like warm fruity vanilla with a nutty background. The nuttiness is quite diluted compared to Girl of Now Shine. Girl of Now Forever mainly smells like sweet creamy vanilla and tart raspberries. To me this is better than Shine because the nuttiness in Shine is harsh and not pleasant. At the same time, Forever is nothing extraordinary. Average scent, average performance. Side note - The tartness may turn some people off.

LaMiaRosa

I received a sample of this. Thought it would be pretty safe as the notes look pretty standard to me. Just by looking at the note pyramid you can already tell it's going to be a generic inoffensive scent.

By and large, that is true. I will warn that Elie Saab fragrances never seem to work for me, no matter what the notes are. There is always something off-putting in them (on my skin) like a urine smell, rubber, rotten, etc. Unfortunately this scent is no different.

When I first sprayed it had a sour acrid smell. Thankfully that went away, but it was replaced by a rubbery smell that bothers me. I think it could be the blackcurrant, as that never seems to agree with me, but more likely it's the almond coming across as rubbery. This is a bit less noticeable in the drydown, which is mostly vanilla and cashmeran.

Overall, this is a very inoffensive and forgettable scent. It's also very soft and close to the skin. The bottle is pretty but I definitely won't be buying this one and will be decluttering the sample.

ceeceelee

Mea Culpa. This is not bug spray, which I, to my shame, compared it to. I've since learned to let it sit for about a year or so and it's a delightfully creamy fruity/floral. I do this to all fragrances I don't like now, and it has been revelatory to me how some fragrances need time. I had to laugh at the reviewer below who said it was a grandma scent. Like that's the (shiver) worst dis ever! ;)) sorry couldn't resist. One quick tip, don't smell this right after smelling OG GON or GON Shine, it's not the best experience. This one stands completely on its own ~ with the almond creamy tying them together. I haven't tried GON Lovely yet, but I will be buying bc I collect this bottle. If you're a Gen X'er, you'll remember the Egyptian government loaned an art collection that was shown at the Met, to great fanfare. There was a necklace in that collection that reminds me of the decoration on this bottle. Lovely indeed.

terigurl

I'm obsessed with this fragrance. I can wear this anytime, any day and not worry about being offensive. It's fruity, clean, but also creamy. This is long lasting. My favorite of the GON line!

Allthingssparkle

This is not "bad" but it's not really me. I expected more fruit in this, but to be honest, the OG smells more fruity to me than this. What I like to do with perfumes I'm not sure about is spray it on a sweater sleeve in my closet and then come back to it over the next 24 hours and see if I like what's in the air if I wave the sleeve around. You know that heavy sweet smell you get from a box of Bounce dryer sheets? To me, this reminds me of Bounce dryer sheets, but it's honestly as if I had used half the box on one sweater. It's a beast on longevity, so that's good! But the scent isn't what I really go for.

flamingpetalang

Synthetic, headache inducing, overpowering and strong but not in a good way, grandma drydown. So much of a miss. Hard pass

realitygreene

Prior to trying this for the first time today I had only tested out Girl of Now Shine of these flankers. GONShine is really good, it smells like pineapple upside down cake, but not in a sticky way or candle way. I was really hoping to like this one a lot even though there is no pineapple. I just expected to be super obsessed with the blend/quality. Sadly, I am not loving this very much. At first spray I got something green and plant-like, like the green leaves from a strawberry. Not really sure what that is, but I do see there is lemon peel as a note on Fragrantica. Not just lemon, but lemon peel. I'm not a fan. I also think I don't like the rose and patchouli blend in this fragrance. It's just not that pleasant or exciting. I'm not super disappointed because the last thing I need is another fragrance to add to a wish list. But at the same time, it would have been nice to use this sample a few times and really enjoy it. I'm also getting a lot of the almond which I am usually not a fan of.

Overall, I don't like this fragrance. I'll keep my sample and try it again in a few months, maybe in the summer when it's hot out to see if that changes how this smells on me. Really it would be to see if it redeems the lemon peel because that's mainly what is turning me off. If you're a big fan of almond maybe give this a sniff.

mirimermaid

confidence in a bottle! not that it smells like Delina by Parfums de Marly at all, but it has that same level of unabashed, full on femininity. The opening is very strong, and it lasts for hours on my skin. It's quite different from the other Girl of Now perfumes - it's more fun. It smells like an offensively attractive European instagram girl, in a good way. Think bright red or tangerine frilly dresses, a tan and sharp nails. At first it borders on the side of the most generic designer perfumes, but then it reveals an addictive quality that can provoke obsession! It has a certain fruity punch that just makes you crave it. Even if you are more of a niche-lover. I will definitely rebuy.

YellowFluff

I'm not a fan of fruity perfumes generally but I love this one! Lasts more than most perfumes and has a strong beautiful scent.

aldinatic

I like the girl of now flankers more then the original..nice nice nice, hard to describe..but not to loud..soft, dreamy...

Jezebelle

If you love Jessica Simpson Fancy and La vie est belle en Rose, you will love this, too. It's like a combination between them.

Porscha_7

Raspberry-Lemon Heaven! The drydown is totally different (I am obsessed with it)

minizelda

very very rosy

Indiannose

Very different than the OG but i love this one and i am surprised why nobody mentioning this being similar to guess bella vita,i wore it side by side on both of my arms and they felt 90% similar.
Very good staying power

Aisha007

I really enjoy the opening of this fragrance..OMG. Unfortunately it doesn't last on my skin 😭😭. So it's a pass.

KTobie

Not sure how I feel about this one, I fell for the bottle... it smells like licorice cough syrup.. maybe with time it'll get better.
The more I let it sit the more I begin to like it.

Roos88dutch

Smells like grapefruit to me . Really sour .

Carolinefragrance

Absolute love. Not only me but daughter and hubby too. Tart creamy raspberry and lemon peel. Nothing at all in common with the original girl of my in my opinion but a masterpiece in its own right. Fantastic sillage and longevity. Suitable for all ages. Firm favourite. Love love love.

mimm

I find the orange blossom to be pretty overpowering, even in the beginning. I wish it was fruiter on my skin, but sadly it isn't. If you like the original though, and want a less nutty, more fruity version, this would likely be great for you. Very spring/summery.

Fefe19

Raspberry and Citrus zest are the stars of the show here. I can also smell the rose. I blind bought this and the first time I tried it I disliked it and was ready to give it away. I’m glad I didn’t! It’s become one of my favorite refreshing summer scents! It’s been very hot these last days where I live and I have been using this a lot. It’s sweet but tart at the same time, uplifting, sparkling and feminine. As others have said, it’s like a pink lemonade, with lots of ice! I expected GON Lovely to be the fresh one with its minty notes, however that one remains too sweet and too warm for very hot weather. This one on the other hand stays fresh the whole time, the vanilla and almond prevent it from being too tart, but are not prominent at all, at least to my nose. Projection and longevity are amazing. The most different among the GON range. Same vibes as Delina or Angel Nova. If you like these two, you might like this one.

fragreviewer

Wow. To me it smells exactly like Jessica Simpson’s Fancy but with a slight fruitiness that Fancy doesn’t have. And I didn’t even smell any fruit after a few minutes so in my opinion, just get Fancy and save your $.

Izzyabutt

I love Girl of Now and Girl of Now Shine, but Girl of Now Forever is just Blah to me. I got a sample wore it today and it does nothing for me. I don’t like the extra fruity scents in here at all. Girl of Now is Perfect, and Girl of Now shine with pineapple is great but it’s time to leave perfection alone.

Chavezb3

I really thought I would like this perfume but it’s a NO! The opening is very sharp and tart. The almond comes in and it does soften it up a bit but not enough. It’s just a sour almond mess. Did not like it at all.

terigurl

I just got this today and did a test spray. I LOVE this one! It doesn't share the same DNA as the OG or Shine but I do smell a toned down Almond note. What really shines is the Lemon and Raspberry with the Almond and Musk. I do have to say that this does remind me of CH Good Girl but much fresher and sweeter. I literally can't stop smelling myself. Will give this a full wear tomorrow and update.

Update: This is my scent of the day and I can't stop smelling myself. I smell so fresh, but sweet but also creamy. I just can't explain it but I'm so happy with this purchase. I can't believe what a fan I've become of the GON line. I've had the OG for 2 years and have worn it maybe twice or 3 times. I'm enjoying the flankers much more but I'm looking forward to wearing the OG this fall/winter. I will never be without all the GON's.

fingertips00

I usually hate citrus but the opening in this is amazing. It settles into a sweet raspberry lemon tart with some nuttiness which is absolutely stunning. Keep in mind that on some people the lemon turns sour so I recommend you try it out first. It's very strong and it can give me a headache sometimes but if I spray lightly it's fine. It's giving me spring and summer vibes but I'm not sure yet how it will perform in the summer heat since I just got it recently. I'm really hoping it doesn't get cloying because I bought this specifically to use during summer

SouthSim

On my clothes the sweet note comes last. It starts off very floral, indigenous flowers with an earthy feel and a dominant almond note. Settles into a creamy floral about 20 min in. Surprisingly, a couple of hours later it comes off as a sweet scent. The sweetness is what lasts on clothes while the skin holds the nuttiness. Pleasant in the summer.

wenshere

This is like a fruit syrup blast on my skin; I wanted to like it but it's too sweet for me and also kinda artificial smelling. I honestly think it smells kinda cheap and it doesn't compare to the original 'Girl of Now' at all. GoN is really sweet too but in a sophisticated gourmand way. This falls flat in comparison and feels kinda tacky.

Kuty22

I tried this in the store before purchasing.
I had the paper strip for a week, laid it on my dresser... Enjoyed the scent, convinced myself I loved it.
Finally bought a 30ml, so glad I did.
I don't like it. The raspberry note in here is just awful.
I've tried to wear it but 😩
It does smell good and it lasts but after enjoying a nice raspberry note in So Scandal by JPG, this one just feels wrong.

vanilie

yep, it's definitely more of a cousin to the original GON than a sister! if you get past the slightly harsh opening, the dry down is lovely. there's something really pleasing about that pink lemonade nutty vanilla combo. ok performance + a good crowd pleaser overall.

Lucille29

Wow what a 180 for me. I blind bought this when it came out in the 80ml and didn’t really care for it. It felt screechy sharp. So I decanted a small amount and sold my almost full bottle.

Fast forward to a month ago I decided to dig out my decant to test again and omg it’s beautiful. I did have covid about 6 months ago (all fine now luckily) so maybe my nose has changed and I’m smelling things differently (who knows) but I get the fresh sweet fruits and creamy nutty goodness and I repurchased a bottle and I can’t stop wearing it. I actually love this one. Going to be a spring staple for me this year. I’d say if you’re on the fence revisit it. May change for you too?! 💕

Atilola

I LOVE THIS PERFUME . I’ve bought both the original girl of now and girl of now shine for some reason they don’t last on me but this lasts on me and the sillage is great . It’s so unique and almost powdery . It reminds me of a bitter but sweet drink . A sparkling fruity floral the lemon and raspberry are quite potent . I’ve been complimented wearing this . You could call it childish perhaps it’s not sexy or sophisticated but it is very memorable , I wouldn’t advise a blind buy. It’s nothing like the original GON

Zipporah mama

I love love this scent! It just so good. It hugs you for sure and it leaves a trail. This was a blind buy so when I smelt it, I was like it’s nice but I didn’t really bother about it then I smelt it again and wow is she beautiful. It’s so different from OG GON and I’ll pick this over GON. GONF is fruity and Floral having a blissful marriage. It’s so well done. I’ll always have this in my collection. It’s a safe blind imo.

Perfumygirly

Just got done reviewing Nina richi rose absolute (the one in the pink bottle). I accidentally ordered both based on the nice bottle but when I looked up notes, they are pretty much the same. Same type, same vibe. Just a bit different notes, but pretty much the same. I say this because both are compared to delina and I don’t know how that one smells. I just can tell that this one, gon forever, is so much jammier, sweet, and juicer than the Nina richi pink bottle. Nina is much more rosier at its forefront. It’s jammy but not nearly as jammy rose as this one. This is sweeter compared to that one. I loved this one better because it felt more rounded. I love the other one too, but I can’t get over the plastic smell. The Nina is a jammy rose that isn’t as sweet but more true rosy. A good rose too, but this one has my heart and it’s just sweet and nice. Love it.

Nurses04.

I can’t help myself, I really enjoy this fragrance. I wouldn’t describe it as ‘sophisticated’ but it’s definitely a fun daytime perfume. A sparkling fruity, nutty concoction. It opens with a (slightly screechy) blast of citrus peel, it leans on the bitter side than a citrus juice. The raspberry keeps it sweet and elevated. Then I get the warming presence of almond which at first is quite strong but it settles to a sweet vanilla musk with a fruity nutty nuance. The projection is very good when first sprayed - it fills the car. The longevity is also good - about 6 hours on my skin. It’s a good perfume to wear in England on a cold, spring, sunny day. It starts bright (boarder line sharp) and remains fresh. It smells better in the air around me and in my hair than if I smell my skin up close. It does carry some of the DNA from the original GON but it’s a completely different type of fragrance. If I had to choose I probably prefer this one ever so slightly more. I’m not too fussed about GON shine.

PlayboyBunnyLover

I got this and the original GON. When they say they’re completely different fragrances, they are COMPLETELY different, you can smell a slight similarity in the DNA but it’s minuscule.

I was expecting to prefer GON Forever because my favorite YouTuber Mila Le Blanc said she preferred this one over the original but I personally have to disagree. GON Forever has a very harsh and screechy opening; it smells kind of medicinal with a hint of something else to me. It’s so bad that I was tempted to wash it off immediately but alas I stuck it out. After maybe 40 mins, The scent finally settled in my skin and it was absolutely beautiful. It was everything I was hoping GON Forever would be. I was soooo tempted to keep this fragrance just for the dry down but I’ve been wanting to only keep fragrances I LOVE in my collection.
I’m now interested in trying GON shine

bibilia

I like it. Sweet and the longevity is amazing. But, for some reasons, it reminds me of Jessica Simpson Fancy. So, to me it smells nice & sweet but not classy. Coz Fancy is alot cheaper with about the same longevity.

chicagogirl

Just blind bought this after having my eye on it for years. I have all three GoN and this is the best iteration! I totally smell the nutty creamy base of the original in this, but it has a bright fruity top note that gives it a different feel. It also has a bright clean floral note the original doesn't. The nutty base is the same though. The lemon/raspberry makes it smell like a yummy fruit custard cake. This is way lighter than the original and than Shine but both of those get so heavy and powdery after awhile that it irritates me. The original lasts forever too, this one is gone within 2-4 hours and is has way less silage. Forever has a really different feel than other fruity perfumes IMO, it is really a good combo of gourmand and fruity. I def think it's perfect for spring/summer but it has a little bit of a warm cozy yum feel that will be perfect for cold weather too. It took me the longest time to figure out what this smells like at first...it smelled really familiar. It smells like Taylor Swift Wonderstruck!

Ladyceramic

this, unlike the other GONs I had to wear a while to decide if it was as amazing as the other two. It’s definitely a far call from the other two but it is beautiful. Raspberry vanilla and it gets prettier as the hours pass by. I’m surprised there’s no coconut note listed as I do get tiny whiffs of coconut or maybe that could be the almond….. this one I feel is the most summer friendly of all the GONs. It’s not heavy on the almond as the others and fruity note just adds to the cheery quality of the scent!
Projection is great and longevity is top class!

I am looking to buy this perfume! If you have it and do not like it, please message me and I will help you get it off your hands!! :)

Demetria

I don't really get the negative reviews on here but that's the beauty of the perfume world. Everybody has different tastes and opinions on each perfume and luckily for me I love it so much. I don't own a very big perfume collection since I dont want to spoil myself by splurging and owning too much so soon but this to me is a very unique sweet floral scent. I heard the regular GON is a hit or miss, and wanting to keep it safe i went with GON Forever since i do like floral scents and man this is such a beautiful perfume. For me if you haven't tried an Elie Saab fragrance I suggest you start with GON Forever. It's such a playful scent not generic smelling at all and while it does have floral notes it leans a little more sweet than flowery BUT it is not sickeningly sweet like La Vie Est Belle, it's not headache inducing and very pleasant for day or night. I can see this being worn in the heat too but since it is winter in Alaska I am testing it out in the cold and it is just wonderful. I keep getting wafts of the scent at work and I am just enamored. I wish they sold this scent in an even bigger bottle because 90ml is not enough for me I feel like I'll easily go through it lol. In my opinion it's a little hard to overspray yourself with this. I sprayed 5 times on accident (wink wink) and it didn't leave me choking on the smell cause i love dousing myself in perfume. If you've been on the fence of buying this is you sign to BUY IT, you won't regret it :)

ArtByLeia

Sadly I don't really like it. It smells generic and a bit annoying to me. Got the biggest size and trying to sell it now. The bottle is gorgeous though. I bought this in the perfume store and thought it was gorgeous but when I smelled it at home it was such a let-down.

PekoeMint

This is quite different from the original, but still has the underlying DNA. I really love the waft of juicy fruits and rose from afar, quite pretty. Up close, there's a strange synthetic note...somebody mentioned plasticky. I agree. So, I spray this just under the collar of my top for some distance. It's not a perfume to put on your wrist to bring up to your nose.

The silliage and longevity are fairly good. Two sprays lasted me for about 5-6 hours and I can smell it all around me when I move.

tessture

This is super sweet on me. I get fruit-flavored cotton candy with some freesia hairspray behind. Drying, the freesia is more like chamomile, and less like hairspray, so it's kind of nice at that stage, but it’s still hugely sweet, almost screechingly so. Strangley shrill on me, too. Not great, not offensive, but oh, so young and not me at all. The cotton candy impression is very marked.

Cess268

This is a nice offering from the
Elie Saab GON line. It's nothing like the other 2. This one starts with a blast of fruits and is balanced out perfectly by the almond, vanilla, musk and Patchouli. NONE of the notes over power each other. It kinda smells like a Sexy spicy raspberry lemonade, If that makes sense. The fruits are just sweet enough, as not to be cloying or headache inducing. I would wear this in spring, summer ( very date night worthy)& fall. I started out with a sample size and enjoyed it so much I purchased a bigger bottle. Has excellent longevity and sillage.

Update 10/19/21: STILL a LOVE for me just word of advice.. I wouldn't go over 3 sprays and avoid the chest area, because this baby is STRONG!!! If you go over that and can become a bit cloying. IMO

diandra96

for me this one is more mature than the OG Girl of Now. I like that one better though, this smells too woody for me.. the kind of perfume you wear for fall, wearing a sweater, and drinking cinnamon.

loliirain

Wow the opening was so sweet I could almost taste it lol. It’s a sweet citrus vanilla- almond. Smells like a less juicy JS fancy with tarte citrus. It’s bright, almost sharp to my nose. Fancy is more round. I was expecting something with a creamier drydown due to the almond, vanilla, cashmere, and musk notes listed. This is a like for me, not a love. Sometimes I get a plasticky note, sometimes I don’t. The botttle is gorgeous though.

Tsatsenskaya

I tried this out accidentally the last time I was at a perfume store. I spayed several testers on me and this one stood out like no other for its beauty and its intensity. I retuned one hour later to buy it. I highly recommend getting your nose on this. I do not go for very girly, young perfumes. This is different. It is strong, great projection, unbelievable longevity, full bodied fresh, tart and sweet. The slight tartness makes it entirely not cloying. It is dense. Beautiful. Very fun. Much higher quality than the price tag would suggest.

toloneneija

This is nice, I'm surprised! I blind bought it. Original GoN was way too much for me, and I had to wash it off every time.

Rasperry, almond, vanille and blackcurrant works well together. This is juicy, flirty, beautiful, warm, fruity.

TaWeel431

This is amazing , i love this on woman so gd

violetscout

A little bit disappointed. Idk if I like or hate this perfume but I was disappointed. It reminds me of some fruity, sweet detergent. don't even know why

Enchanted77

I absolutely adore the GoN line. I have all three ( Original, Forever & Shine). Forever is a more floral sweet instead of the more gourmand sweet of the original. The original is my favorite then Forever. However, there’s definitely days I prefer Forever as it’s not quite as thick as the original. Shine is best for the heat as it’s lighter and more citrusy.

Biotrade23

this is amazing omg

gtabasso

my fave of the three; tart fruit in the opening, juicy raspberry and black currant with a hint of citrus that almost gives it a rhubarb vibe, orange blossom, a little rose, a little patchouli, some musk

mauvealert

A plush, jammy rose that straddles the line between flirty-and-fun and romantic-and-sultry. It has a sweet-tart lemon-berry opening that is grounded by an earthy, nutty patchouli and vanilla base, reminds me of VCA Rose Rouge but with more patch. On the one hand it's quite girly and cute and smells like a dessert, on the other hand it's musky, herbal, a bit naughty. Makes me think of the movie Moulin Rouge, which to be honest I haven't seen for ages, but that's the vibe I'm getting, sort of a bedazzled, bittersweet pop-music cabaret romp. The pink colour scheme is deceptive, to me this would be a decadent red velvet. The patchouli is reasonably strong and the base quite warm despite the citrusy sweet opening. Seems to suit any season, but I prefer it in cold weather. Not really something I'd wear to work, but great for casual wear, weekends, evenings out.

cypriotsister

I bought two bottles, one for me, one for mum. I found this to be a bit sharp and bitter so contemplated selling it. Then my mum was wearing it non stop in the summer and my nose picked up a fresh zesty sweetness. Long story short, I really like it now & keeping my bottle. Long lasting on the skin and a BEST MODE on clothes!! It'll stay strong till the next day. Beautiful for the summer, like raspberry lemonade.

Deefatani

smell like good girl by Carolina Herrera which I don't like, it's a pass for me.

very sweet, very nauseating, and annoying.

tashfi70

I get compliments like crazy whenever I wear it

xions

Unfortunately on me the opening is a sweet, cloying raspberry-lemon scent reminiscent of the fruity body sprays I used to wear in high school. The dry-down is quite warm with the almond and patchouli notes, which I found confusing because the opening was so tart in contrast. Overall an odd fragrance on me that I had to return.

Shehzina

I really like this one. My nose doesn’t pick any black currant. To me, the opening smells like raspberry and lemon peel… making it a delicious Raspberry citrus cocktail. Then it dries down to a beautiful almond and vanilla scent with a bit of patchouli!

Juliusq75

I couldn't stand GoN, and even Shine was a meh, the almond just doesn't do it for me, but THIS I really enjoy. I love black current and raspberry notes, and the lemon keeps it bright. The almond brings a nuttiness, but not that sickly sweet almond like almond extract. It has a sweetness, like a light praline. This is very feminine, but not little girl. I am thrilled to have found the right GofN for me!

la.femme.scent

If I had to use one word to describe this perfume, it would be yummy.

Girl of Now Forever smells like a dessert. It smells like what a lemon custard tart, with an almond crust, topped with fresh and preserved raspberries would taste like. And sometimes it smells like a baklava with lemon zest, nuts and lots of honey.

There isn’t a honey note in the description, but I detect something thick, syrupy, and sweet like honey in this fragrance, it could be the vanilla.
I definitely smell the lemon zest and raspberries first, and then I smell a sweet and nutty scent, that triggers my appetite and I react physically ready to eat, as if food was present, even when full. Sometimes, I can’t put this perfume on if I haven’t eaten yet, because I will become even more hungry.

This response only happens after the initial spray and maybe around 5-10 minutes after. It’s mostly the top fruity and middle nutty notes that I believe do this. The top notes dissipate in about 10 minutes or so on my skin, but the almond and sweet vanilla lingers for a little longer into the drydown.

The dry-down is a patchouli bomb, and the patchouli in this is very strong, and you can smell it from beginning to end, but has more of a presence in the base, once it no longer has to compete with so many other notes.
In fact, I remember when I first got it and started to open the box I could smell the perfume before I got the bottle out and I specifically smelled the patchouli.
This is a perfect summer sweet scent, for me. Longevity and sillage is strong and a little goes a very long way. This is not perfume that you could spray heavily or else it could get cloying. So, I use it sparingly, and touch up a couple of times for those delicious opening notes.
I spray on skin with this perfume, one because it has so much oil content that it leaves a slight oily residue, and I once sprayed it on my clothes and lasted on the fabric longer than I would have liked.

In all, this is a really quality perfume, especially for the price, the ingredients seem really top notch. The bottle and even the box are so beautiful. I’m really happy to own this perfume and I appreciate the quality and effort put into it.
The one criticism or an area that could be improved upon is in the blending of the notes and in how they develop could be a little more seamless. But a fantastic perfume overall, I love it!

Linett21

This one makes me sick... I love the OG GoN, wear it often, but the Forever just means massive headache for me, agressive-plastiky fruitness. Quite harsh and nauseous, mehh... Theese two perfumes are "ebony and ivory"... I sold mine in a week and no regrets.

tashfi70

this scent is so pretty i love it. I feel so good when I wear this. its a girly girl scent and I got compliments from this one <3 the rose here is not too overpowering but I can say its there. fruity, sweet rose. so lovely. gonna buy the full bottle for sure.

Tee

sweet raspberry and blackcurrant on the beginning is enjoyable. when i sniff closely i got also almond note. beyond that it is just unintrusive musky fruity with a hint of vanilla. crowd pleaser yummy scent. I can see myself buying this for a teenage girl.

inspe13

I, a fresh aquatic perfume lover, can't help but admit that it's beautiful. The Elie Saab range is very impressive to me so far.
Girl of Now Forever is similar to the original GoN but has a softer, more feminine quality to it. Zesty fruitiness in the opening makes it more bright. It has a soft, warm, round tonka beany-nutty drydown. It fades oh so gracefully.
It smells quality to me. You of course need max two sprays of this one. It will last you all day and some of the night too.
I have a sample of it but the bottle tantalizes me.

P.S. Gosh it smells only better and yummier as it fades. That I feel is the most important part of a perfume.

Ellsa

There is something about this perfume that gives me nausea. I gave it away in the same day I bought it because it reminded me of a note from “I am Juicy Couture” that literally made me sick! I tested in the shop, the opening was fine, I liked it but when I arrived home it changed into something that my “liver”couldn’t handle, so very quick this time, I made my sister happy😂, “after the traumatic experience” with Juicy Couture I can’t risk anymore. I’m not sure but I think the raspberries are the ones that bother. Because I like so much “ Le parfum” I wanted to like this also.

angelina.hz

It’s annoying, sweet, unsophisticated, and too strong of a perfume. I have a large collection and this is the only fragrance that I decided to get rid of. Yuk

Imalia

I blind bought this perfume at a local Shoppers Drug Mart last year. It smelled like wonderful berries on the first spray, but something in it does not mix well with my body’s chemistry. The longer it stayed, the more cloying it became. Gave me a headache afterwards. Sillage and longevity is a beast. Gave it to my mom to try. After just one spray, the scent lingered all around the house. I do agree that it does smell very synthetic and toy-like. I wanted to love this so bad, but it gives me headaches everytime.

jinglebells

I smelled this at debenhams when it was first released, the sales lady handed me a flower card on a stick that had this perfume sprayed on it, the flower card smelled for an entire week, this perfume projects very well and is very strong, a little too strong for me. Before purchasing I read the reviews here and a few people mentioned the patchouli was noticeable but I remember really liking the perfume on the card years ago, so I bought it even though patchouli usually bothers me.

I tried to like this and wore it on a few warm days, my skin does bring out the sweetness which I like, and at first I convinced myself I really liked this, but every time I wore it I always have a headache towards the end of the day, the patch does make it very grounded and long lasting, but thee's something about it that messes with my head I just had to sell it on. The actual fragrance is lovely, opens up quite citrusy and settles more sweet vanilla yet weighted by almond and patchouli so it isn't too airy, would suit most seasons other than very cold winter. If you enjoy fragrances like flowerbomb or any other fruitchuli fragrance I think this is a safe purchase, I would probably like it on other people just not on myself.

Edit: it’s been about 7 months since I’ve let go of this perfume and I found my old decant of it that I gave to my mum before purchasing the full bottle. I was shocked because it smells completely different to the headache inducing, screechy perfume I experienced, it’s so beautiful, a very sweet fruity floral with a little clean soapiness to it. I was starting to regret my life choices of letting it go so I decided to wear it again today to give it a proper test. Still gives me a headache, but the smell (especially the dry down) is divine. If this perfume doesn’t give you a headache then get it! I wish this worked for me because it’s an absolutely beautiful smell.

fanntonyoscar

I wish I smelled something other than lemon peel here, but that’s all I get. I smell like an unsweetened citronella candle. 😑

Murmur123123

I already own GON Shine which I like, but GON Shine is quite sweet and more suitable for autumn and winter in my opinion. I picked up GON Forever out of curiosity to try - so here is my 2 cents in case it helps anyone who wants to blind buy it:
- GON Forever has very little resemblance to GON or GON Shine. To my untrained nose, I cannot pick up much of the GON DNA
- GON Forever opens very fruity and bright, not too sweet (by my standard Lancome LVEB is very sweet and Flowerbomb is sweet, just for reference). In the middle I can detect the nutty scent if I try very hard, but the nutty scent is definitely much much weaker than in GON Shine
- Projection of GON Forever is weaker than GON Shine, which is a good thing because it is more suitable for hotter days. Lasting power is still good.
- In the middle to dry down stage, I pick up a familiar vibe to Huge Boss Alive, which has been said to be similar to CH Good Girl (which is cited here on the "reminds me of" list, but I don't own CH Good Girl so I cannot comment on that). However I won't say that GON Forever smells similar to Alive.

EDIT: the more I wear it the more I like it. It is a bright and lovely scent for spring and summer.

karlee79

Ok this is truly beautiful, I ordered this at the same time as the original and I wasn’t even going to give this a chance seeing as how I absolutely hated the original, was sickeningly sweet and extremely cloying ! I’m so glad I opened it and tried it !!!! It’s a knock off for Delina Exlusif , not quite as strong but even better, such a pretty fragrance, super summery and extremely feminine, I’m in absolute love ❤️ and if anyone wants a 100ml of the original hit me up because I hate it and this one is polar opposite

sophie sanderson

Its ok but to me a bit bland as though its missing some thing the lemon note is way to sharp in yr face to much if it had of bn a sugary sweet kind of lemon that may of made a difference not enough nuttiness to it the rose thankfully wasnt to overpowering as i dont really like strong flowery perfumes any way and the blackcurrant they could of left out i think if theyd of made this another sweet or goumande perfume with different perfume notes maybe some caramel or creme bruise or coconut or some thing else like that it would of smelled a lot better as I said it's ok but not as nice as the other 2 perfumes they were made right sweet gourmande very smell worthy but this one sadly not so much so but I love the coral colour of the bottle and am definately keeping it

ivadim

Обичам и трите Girl of now, shine, forever,

ceeceelee

Don't blind buy even if you are a huge fan of GoN or GoN Shine. On me both the OG and Shine are nutty, sweet and enough patchouli to keep it spicy, but not overwhelmingly patch. But Forever, between the very tart raspberry, lemon peel and dry patchouli, did not mix well with my skin chemistry. I have full bottle that I'm keeping because I love the look of it, but I'm not sure I'll ever spray again, lol. The reviewer below who said it smelled like the insect repellent Off was spot on IMO. Everyone's skin is different. Although, I've written off other fragrances and 3 months later I loved them.

tashfi70

OKAY I will not buy any more rose frags. THEY ALL SMELL THE SAME TO MY NOSE. This one is no exception.

ivadim

ME.fragrance

Sweet. Girly. Sugary. Fizzy sherbert x marzipan vibes - yum. I love this fragrance. I blind bought it as I trust Elie Saab fragrances and out of the whole Girl of Now range this is my favourite. I have a sweet tooth and love the layers with in this but it does lean to the younger demographic teenage and early 20s. I do wear it in summer but be careful not to overspray as its village is huge and can be overwhelming for yourself and others around. It's better to spray little and have the scent trail do the talking.

cherrybae

Smells EXACTLY like "Have Fun" from La rive, sold in H&M stores a couple years ago. I am almost compelled to saying it's the exact same.

I am actually a little dissapointed because I expected it to smell more mature and grown up, and not so cheap, supersweet and mall-y.

It does not smell bad and I guess I could wear it on a night out with the girls, but thats's about it. I feel kind of overpowered wearing this, like it's the scent wearing me and not me wearing the scent.

Very immature and little bit unsafe for work. I would notice this if someone was wearing it because of the strong sillage, but not in a good way. Not strong and elegant, just strong and obnoxious.

4/10

Tropicat28

It almost felt like there was an Oud note but I’m sure it’s just the Cashmeran. Smells like Raspberry Lemonade. I also get the Black Currant of which I am not the biggest fan of. Starts off sour then dries down and smells softer and the sourness fades. Smells better on skin but if you get it on your clothes the opening will stay for a very long time. It’s growing one me.

Edit: I have a love hate relationship with this fragrance. One minute I love it, the next minute I don’t care for it as much. One minute I get the black currant and cashmeran, the next minute I get the creamy almond and then the next minute I get the rose, raspberry lemonade. Its over the place with this one and I don’t know what to make of it but for now it’s a keeper. The dry down on skin is definitely where it’s at.

2nd Edit; I still have a love hate relationship with this fragrance. I think it’s the black currant that is throwing it off for me. I wish it would be replaced with a mandarin note. It’s a declutter for me. I would love to smell it on someone around me though. Just not for me.

piahellgren

This is gorgeous, long lasting and just so nice. It is like a less tart, but equally strong Delina. I need another HUGE bottle! Edit: So gorgeous! this is now my favourite happy-and-looking-forward-to-smiling perfume! Actually, think Delina mixed with Van Cleef & Arpels Rose Rouge! The lemon and raspberry balance each other perfectly and that smooth almonds with a fresh rose. It lasts forever too!

jussieboo

Like the concept of Flowerbomb, I feel this could be called “Fruitbomb” lol. Citrus, raspberries, patchouli & SWEET. I will be reaching for this a lot during spring/summer (especially for outdoor events). I like it. I like it a lot.

Volt

Do not blind buy it.
Although, if you are a fan of Juicy Couture or Fancy Jessica Simpson, it can work work you.

mochachoco99

This is a lemon dessert! Opening is strong lemon zest with a hint of raspberry, very citrus. Kind of like a tart, not sugary lemonade. Then the rose begins to kick in. I’m not the biggest fan of florals but rose in non-rose perfumes seems to work well for me. This is when it reaches the floral fruity stage. The dry down, however, is a delightful cake that you’d want to eat on a sunny summer day in a garden. The vanilla becomes very pronounced and the musk and cashmeran balance it out well in a lovely way. The lemon peel and rose are still lingering in the background but now it is sweeter and creamier and the perfume finally becomes the fruity floral gourmand that it is. I love perfumes that dry down like this. The dry down process is somewhat similar to Thank U, Next by Ariana (which is one of my favorite perfumes.) Longevity, projection, and sillage are pretty good too! This is a successful blind buy for me. Perfect for summer.

Itssarabelle

Found this at my tj maxx and blind bought it based on the notes from this website. So glad I did! It’s sweet, girly, and beautiful. I get zesty lemon, jammy raspberry, and a tiny bit of musk in the dry down. I wore this on Valentine’s Day and I felt very confident and romantic.

Tekiya08

I blind bought this for 30 bucks based off the notes alone. Saw it online for a bit more and was surprised to see it at Tj Maxx. Initially I got lemon tart with flaky buttery crust. Second time wearing it and the scent is fruity with a super caramel, nutty and creamy scent. Either way I love it and it definitely smells like Dahlia from BBW but of course way longer lasting. I get about 5 hours of me and others being able to smell it and lasts almost my entire 8 hour shift(last couple being a skin scent).

Emoviolet

This is an extreme raspberry scent. I like the dry down better than the initial spray because the patchouli in the initial spray is too strong and sharp combined with the lemon. But it dries to a delicious sweet berry musk, almond and cashmere scent. I also love Burberry Her and these have similar vibes but this is more raspberry and Her is very strawberry. Both have young vibes to me because they are so bright and fruity, but not childish. GON forever is sweet but not like sugar or cotton candy, sweet like fruity.

latafan

Very sweet slightly citrus-y raspberry jam opening that dries down to a rosy fruity vanilla.

I love this, because it smells delicious without being completely gourmand. I get whiffs where it really reminds me of summer/spring time sweet treats you can get in German bakeries, like a sweet puff pastry topped with vanilla custard and raspberry jam. But it does have a distinct yet smooth rose and musk undertone as well, which for me personally pulls it out of the pure gourmand category.

It's a very very feminine scent. I have to admit especially in the opening one could say it almost borders on the infantile. You can tell, that they had a very young demographic in mind with this. But I do think that's really just the opening. The dry down is absolutely well blended, smooth and wearable by most any age group, granted you enjoy the simple joyfulness many fruity fragrance communicate.

Also maybe noteworthy is, that despite it in my opinion being more of a spring/summer fragrance, it doesn't really have any freshness to it. Sweet and fluffy really is the main theme here.

Longevity is a solid 5-6 hrs on me. Projection depends heavily on the climate. In tropical humidity I have to be very close to someone for them to smell me even after 3-4 sprays. In cooler European weather one to max two sprays suffice easily for a more than decent projection. So as it is quite heavy and sweet, in case you live in a cooler climate, be sure not to overdo it, cause I do feel this might have potential to trigger headaches in some people.

Blind buy material? I'm inclined to say no, just for the fact that every single person has a different threshold as to just how sweet is 'too sweet' for them, or even for the opposite group of people - the sweet lovers - ideas of how much sweetness is sweet enough. This one is really somewhere in between. For me it's sweet but not too sweet, but I can tell that for some it may be too much while for others - LVBE lovers out there - it may just not be sweet enough.
Most shops and online shops carry samples. So just to be on the safe side, give it a test run or two.

For me personally it turned out to be one of the few fragrances I rated with 'love'. It instantly lifts my mood, while simultaneously making me feel cozy as well as super feminine. It's fast become one of my favorite no brainer feel good scents.

Schnupperl

Not as loud and heavy as the original mother GON. It is softer, powdery, slightly lemony, slightly fruity through raspberry. The scent is pretty, but nothing more.

blissedoutsweetheart93

very sweet and very very VERY strong, this is not something you want to accidentally overspray, it can become nauseating beyond three sprays. It's such an in your face fragrance and some people will love it or hate it, personally I'm enamored. I've found that it performs best in the heat, it really comes alive in the summer and springtime.

Joani_Cheddar

This perfume is the 'Jane Eyre' of the GON family. This is a almond fragrance, with a fruity twist, lighter than any other flanker and not as strong on the almond. When I first smelled this flanker - I thought it contained a licorice note (or that type of caramel that reminds me of licorice) until I read the notes and NOW I don't smell licorice - it was the mixture of raspberry, black currant, and rose giving it a licorice quality or a sharpness to my nose. BUT please know the rose does not stand out in this fragrance- and it is a nice perfume but it is a like not love for me.

mkgss

[Bling bought full 90ml bottle and used less than a quarter. Usage in all year around high humidity tropical climate.] This perfume is so gorgeous and elegant. Opening is zesty and fruity, patchouli give me a little bit of dryness in my throat but it gets addictive. Dry and mature fruity perfume. Well blended. As it did not really match with my personality, I decided to use it for the guest room / toilet instead as my husband loved the scent too. Just one push, and every male friends would come up to me to ask what this scent was, as it smells like an expensive hotel room. Love the bottle too. Would suite a modern mature soul and could be signature scent worthy if you like a mature zesty dry fruit scent.

j_k_r

I just don't love this one - it's very sour and zesty and I don't get enough of the sweet gourmand I am looking for with this. The lemon peel is very strong on me and it stays sharp and sour a long time. I agree with the comments about it reminding people of detergents and household cleaners. I love the original GoN, the nuttiness and syrupy-ness. I hoped this would be a raspberry almond tart but it's a lot of sour lemon and raspberry and an earthy musky patchouli type of scent at the base. I am hoping this will warm up a lot in summer heat and I think it might smell nicer then, where I don't think the.original would be wearable. I am yet to.try the GoN shine flanker but I have ordered that and I hope I enjoy it more than this one!

I really can't wear D&G light blue intense at the moment which is also very lemony but I'm sure that will be nice when under hotter conditions. So I'll hold on to this one for the same reasons and I'm hopefully I'll enjoy it more in summer!

strandsikr

This is a very nice scent. It is sweet and sour. Similar type of scent as Delina by PDM. However that one is lighter and maybe more well blended. If you want a more affordable option, this one is not bad and a perfumes in its own right and I love that it is more easily acessable. However I do recommend to be a little light on the trigger, to much at once can be a little sickening. I adore this one.

Jiffie

I love original Girls of Now so much for dry down, when scent gets more floral. This flanker Girls of Now Forever does not have any resemblance of original to me. For me it is overly painfully sweet compot juice, I do not like it :(

Amberdunn

This scent is nothing like GON and Shine. It is different and stands out. It lasts longer as well. meaning it performs much better than the other two.

Givenchy has a scent that is very similar, very. Anyway -I have no regrets.

babyberry

This fragrance screams 'Toothache!'
I never knew a fragrance could have so much sugar, nevertheless, I love it. Very, very sweet floral, and the bottle is simple yet, gorgeous
This is definitely not for everyone and it is not a safe fragrance at all. You probably wanna try one or two puffs first, and be familiar with the sillage and people's reaction before you go all out.
I, personally, wear this mostly to the club or a place where my scent can easily get lost in the crowd. This way, I stand out - Just follow the sugar:)
Again, not for everyone but I love and I recommend!

JSpines

I picked this one up for 19.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart here in Canada, which I knew was a good deal. I figured that if I didnt like it, I'd just pass it on to someone else and I wouldn't be out too much money.

This scent just didn't work for me. It's far too sweet and cloying for my taste. It's not terrible, it's just way too much. There isn't much development. It's linear, it dries down as the same scent that you first spray on. It literally does smell like straight-up raspberry lemonade but it's sharp and just not smooth enough for my liking. The bottle itself is so pretty, I just wish that the perfume itself was as nice as the bottle. I ended up giving my bottle away so I'm happy that I didn't pay too much for it.

Paula73

I'm not a fan of this one. Another blind buy fail. When will I learn?
This fragrance on my skin is just so sharp, from the opening notes to the dry down, there's nothing pleasant about it and it reminds me of polish.
Pretty bottle though.

kkaattjjeess

Well, well, well... Haven't I learnt my lesson about blind buying? Clearly not.

I felt confident blind buying this, because I love love love the original Girl of Now. This version however I found extremely underwhelming. I don't get any almond, just a fruit cocktail we've all seen 726251 times, and most of those 726251 smell better than this.

I will wear it a few times and see if I warm up to it, but so far this is my worst blind buy of 2020.

Sreza7

I do not like this. The opening is nice, tart, sweet raspberry but after that a chemical synthetic note comes out that really turns me off. It’s a no for me.

Jasmindee

Fruity, feminine and flirtatious.

My first impression of this was "Wow, This one is strong!"

Opening spray for me is zesty lemon, luscious raspberry and marzipan-esque almond. Mmmm, so yummy and fresh! The floral dry-down is a little more mature than I would usually lean towards (must be the patchouli and orange blossom), but it's rounded out by the almond and raspberry, giving it a sweeter kick.

This is super-duper, tooth-achingly sweet yet somehow it's not cloying or irritating? It's a very miserable day here right now in the UK and all throughout the afternoon I've been getting a lovely, fizzy and delicious thread of this perfume from where I sprayed it on my jumper this morning. That was like, 8 hours ago?!

Girl of Now Forever is like a tall glass of fresh, iced lemonade with tart raspberries and sweet, nutty cakes on a plate next to it in a beautiful blooming garden. Reminds me of happy days in the sunshine...

The original Girl of Now was very "meh" for me, but I absolutely love this one!

Edit: I can't believe no one has mentioned how much this smells like Emporio Armani's "Because It's You". I have been wracking my brains trying to remember where I've smelled this, and honestly the two are really similar! GONF is more cakey and gourmand while BIY is fresher and fruitier. (I mean, they share 5 notes! Rasperry, vanilla, rose, lemon and musk.) I own both of these and while I like both, I actually think I'd lean more towards this one as it has more lasting power. You definitely don't need both!

Edit again: Boyfriend loves this one. He said it smells super sweet and delicious.

vlarya

It has the same feeling to it as the original Girl of Now, except it is applied for summer.

Both Girl of Now scents are sweet, modern, realistic and edible. But the original is warming and cosy, Girl of Now Forever makes it suitable for the summer with the sour raspberry and lemon in it.

The marzipan note is present here as well.

It lasts all day, just like the original version (and unlike many summer flankers, which tend to disappear without further notice).

First time I smelt this it was an instant love. I sprayed it on my wrist (to test) and found myself raising my wrist to my nose every few minutes to let it wash over me. It’s all-consuming, it’s not subtle, but that’s no bad thing.
The opening is a super-sweet flower bomb. It has fruity florals in abundance. In my opinion this makes it really girly & feminine (which I love) but I can totally understand why some are describing it as overpowering and cloying (especially in the opening).
Despite its sweetness I don't find it too young or synthetic.
It’s playful summer in a bottle as opposed to high-brow sophistication.
I see this as accompanying a Cocktail Dress in summer rather than an evening ballgown.
Wouldn’t recommend if you dislike overly sweet fragrances, but it’s sweetness is exactly what distinguishes it from all the other average Florals out there.
I found Longevity above average, with decent projection after 6+ hours.
I think its strong enough in the first hour that it would be perceived as a conscious choice by the wearer to want to be noticed. If you’re looking for something more understated and subtle, buy one of the endless indistinct Florals out there.
I've just bought 50ml for my girlfriend on sale for £32 (in the UK). Lots of people on Fragrantica are saying they bought it in Canada for $20. At that price I’d say it’s an absolute steal!
Unfortunately it’s not that cheap here!

LawmaLlama

Love at first sniff for me. Fruity, nutty, vanilla yumminess. A bit sexy, and great for summer. It's like a cross between Daisy Dream Forever + CH Good Girl + Victor and Rolf Bon Bon.

I have all 3 GON scents, and this one is the easiest to love. I am finding the original GON and GON Shine to be more challenging for my nose. Both are quite "dusty," almost powdery. And I'm not a fan of powdery scents. I love the GON and Shine nuttiness, but wearing them in the summer heat doesn't work like it does for GON Forever. I am going to try the other two in the cold weather and decide whether to keep not.

ellismira

This is a blind buy for me. And I deeply regretted it. I get blinding headaches whenever I wear this. At first I thought it was something else, but 5 times wearing it and I get headaches only when I am wearing them. I gave them away. Side note, silage and longevity is very good

Winterspring123

Sweet. Clingy. Lemony. Raspberry. Candy.

LillaMymlan

When I first tried this I didn’t really love it, but it might have been because I tried it in cold weather. In heat this will perform beautifully. The combination of raspberry and lemon make it a bit sour, just like a fizzy fruity drink. There is also some vanilla and black currant in it but I don’t believe that the almond is that prominent in this flanker, at least compared to the original GON.

This scent is simply yummy and it’s perfect for summer!

dglightblue

GON forever, skin test, winter

there is something mad in this scent.

card i love it after an hour. skin i like it after an hour.

gosh what is that god awful top notes - over ripe banana - i bet its liqueur not i think about it - almond liqueur...
then some sort of tea... the middle of this is where its at, and the dry down, the rest of it you can keep.

but very good longevity, and nice aspects to this scent. i think the top notes just dont do the right things for me, but try it, i love/hate it.

MoJo_JoJo

Raspberry Lemonade with Amaretto(almond) liqueur!

emi

I can't believe no one have mentioned it but to me this smells so so similar to Brit Red by Burberry. So similar. I know that there is no rhubarb here on the note list but I definitely do pick it up. It is juicy, sour and distinctive and beautiful sweet base makes me think of rhubarb pie, just like Brit Red did. My next purchase.

anleletran97

To my unexperienced nose, this is somewhere between Fancy by Jessica Simpson and Good Girl By CH. The opening was quite strong with lemon and orange blossom, but after about 15 minutes, what’s left on my skin is a raspberry, almondy concoction. Though this scent is not groundbreaking, it’s quite youthful and lovely, and with the bottle design, this deverses a place on my vanity.

Lollia007

A year ago, I went to perfume store to sample some random fragrances, as usual. My son, 4 year old at that time, was with me and as he learned from me, he also picked the perfume to sample on his tiny arms. Elie Saab just launched his newest version of Girl of Now, and the tester from promo table was easily reachable for a 4 year old.
While the kid was spinning at home and around me, I noticed some very pleasant smell coming from kid's side. MMM... I thought I did not like fruity fragrances... this is interesting! No, I truly need this...
In 2 days I owned my own GON FOREVER bottle. Intense, sweet, fruity, enormous silage and longevity. If I had to describe this fragrance in one word, this would be fragrance of laughter. First, because I noticed it when my son cheerfully was rolling around the room with his lively, naughty laughter. Second, whenever I wore this fragrance, it triggered a lot of fun, cheerful talks about and around it. Thus this perfume has very merry and happy background aura.

Chellywellie

To me, this smells of those fruit salad sweets (I don’t get a synthetic vibe though) and then slightly grassy. To my husband, it’s Turkish delight.

It’s fresh, pretty, summery. It’s quite soft though, and after about 4 hours it’s just detectable as a skin scent. It’s pleasant but hasn’t left a lasting impression on me so I won’t be picking up a bottle. It could be a nice scent for a picnic on a summer afternoon but that’s it for me :(

JillValentine

All I get from this one is artificial strawberry candy flavored scents. It smells like my old Escada perfume I used to wear for school, you know what I’m taking about.
My 20 years old self would have loved it, but I don’t think this is really for me.

KayleeAp

This fragrance is awesome! I blind bought this along with the original Girl of Now. This one is fresher and definitely has some CH good girl vibes going on in the dry down. At first blast, I smell a lot of powdered icing sugar similar to the original, some slight almonds, and generic fruit. I don't pick out a particular raspberry vibe, which in my case is good because I often find those notes to be too artificial, cloying, and syrupy - not happening to my nose here. I don't pick up any patchouli or orange blossom, both detectable to me in the original. This one dries down quite quickly. I am 4 hours into my first wear and I am down to a skin scent of some woodier base notes, which is slightly less potent than the original GON. If you like Elie Saab's style in other fragrances, I for sure recommend this one.

bdragonfly12345

I blind bought this because I saw it on sale for a reasonable price, and thought (from the notes and reviews) that I would really like it. Unfortunately, it's a major dislike for me!

To me, it's super cloying. I get beast-level rose, almond, and lemon when I wear this, with a huge (but very short-lived) initial blast of vanilla. The rating I would give it (based on scent, longevity, originality, quality/price, versatility, and likelihood of me repurchasing it) would be 69.2/100.

Does anyone have suggestions on what to layer with this, to tone it down? I read that one reviewer suggests Narciso Rodriguez "Fleur Musc" and loves that combo, but I don't own that one.........any other layering suggestions?

swanscent

I got a decant of this earlier this week and I was already skeptical because it had lemon in it, a note I cannot stand in perfumery but I decided to try it anyway and I really do not like it (keep in mind I am not a fan of fruity fragrances in general). I think it's bright and youthful but it's too cloying for me. The raspberry is very prominent so if you don't like the note, don't get this. The projection and longevity is great though so I appreciate it for that. I think this will be perfect as a teenager or a young girl fragrance.

I give it a 6/10

mszither

Too strong and cloying to my nose. Should never pick this up for a blind buy. Huge regret

$ortabroke

I get CH Good Girl. I definitely have to keep testing it out, but I'm getting a creamier, softer, almondier version of Good Girl. I can also understand the comparison to Signorina Misteriosa.
No raspberry or lemon for me (yet).

avmist

I got a decant of this, and was a little put off by the lemon. This would be PERFECT if it weren't for the lemon. It has the Girl of Now DNA with a hint of freshness. I think the lemon creates a slightly bitter scent, like that classic "lemon cleaning product" smell. I love the raspberry and rose in this scent, but I just can't get past that lemon note. Instead, I've been mixing the original Girl of Now with Tresor Midnight Rose by Lancome to get the same raspberry rose Girl of Now scent that I loved. This was a pass for me, but it absolutely would have been one of my favorites if they just took out the lemon

anna1987

It smells like a light version of Carolina Herrera's Good Girl. Not a fan. In my opinion Good Girl smells better. This one smells clean and weird. I like clean fragrances, but this one is not likeable for me. Not a safe blind buy!

pjspaceshit

Opens up smelling as pink lemonade and dries down into a lovechild of Carolina Herrera Good Girl and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet.

Nice sweet rosy scent, but not too sweet. Fortunately I don't get any harsh patchouli like some other reviewers here. I quite enjoy it and I think it could be a perfect summer gourmand fragrance, because despite being on the sweeter side, it's not too strong or overwhelming.

RachelSeun

A very lovely addition to the Girl of Now collection. Girl of Now Forever is a fruity, creamy and smooth almond fragrance and I really like the addition of raspberry, it takes Girl of Now’s DNA and it makes it a lot more brighter. If you like La Vie Est Belle Intensement by Lancôme, then you will probably love this. Both fragrances have a “pretty and pink” personality. I layer this with Jimmy’s Choo’s Illicit and Burberry Her and receive compliments when doing so as they all layer well together. Alone, Girl of Now Forever lasts moderately but manages to project quite well on the skin. I prefer this way more than Girl of Now Shine!

Tessa03

I,like a lot of other reviewers, found this for dirt cheap ($20CAD) at SDM. I blind bought 3 bottles figuring if I hated it I wouldn't have a problem selling my bottles. I have never smelled any of the GON fragrances - not the original nor any flanker so this was really a blind buy. Well turns out that I will probably be keeping my 3 bottles!! I get a blast of lemon upon 1st spray (I usually don't like citrus in fragrances) it's very lemonade-like. I get raspberry as well so it really smells like raspberry lemonade. It's very sweet - I think you have to like sweet fragrances to enjoy this. I don't like loud patchouli and the patchouli in this doesn't really bother me. This will be perfect to wear all summer as I feel it's a really refreshing, uplifting, feminine fragrance. I don't find it to be cloying but it does appear to last a decent amount of time on me. Don't hesitate to (blind) buy this!!

Kinga M.

I got a free sample of this. Sprayed 1 spray on my arm, now I can feel it everywhere. It's loud, it wants to be seen, it's begging for attention. I definitely thought to myself:
"... wow, this is so much like Good Girl", an other perfume I'm not that big fan of.
I don't know who can I picture wearing this. For me this is for sure a juicier, playful, date night fragrance. But the colors and visuals on the ads make it seem like it's a light perfume to wear to the beach... So it's a bit of mental conflict for me.
It's so intense it's almost turning my stomach, but if you like Good Girl then go ahead!
I sprayed Good Girl on my other arm for comparison, and they are so alike, oh my god! I can tell some minor differences, but if two people were walking by me with these two perfumes, I don't think I could tell them apart.

EDIT: Good girl has a more complex and sharper dry down. Girl of now is more plain and sweeter. Good Girl is longer-lasting, being there even after I took a shower.

diaanz81

This perfume was never on my radar till I saw it on sale at a ridiculous price. I have been trying not to blind buy so I sprayed this on a card and walked away but it was so lovely that I went right back and bought one. So, to me this is a sweet, fruity slightly nutty dessert like fragrance. I pick up on berries that are not overly ripe and is both sweet and sour, the florals with rose out in the front and orange blossom in the background, infused with almonds that is subtle but present and a sweet vanilla. I would pay full price for this but at the price I got it, this one is a must have!

Edit: On my skin, I get a sharper note from the lemon peel which was not as evident on the card and calms down in about 30 mins. Imagine a sponge cake that tastes like raspberry with a dash of rose essence, a little lemon peel, a nice dose of vanilla and almonds in it. I love it!

Snowfall84

This reminds me of a not so pleasant version of circus by Brittany spears. Like circus may have gone bad. Smells like a very cheap fragrance, I expected something much nicer. It smells like chemicals and there is a tart note that really offends my nose. Not a good blind buy. I also blind bought girl of now shine but I have not recieved that yet and I'm kind of dreading its arrival. I should have just gone with the original girl of now instead. You live you learn...

I do not recommend this.

Siljemariyeah

This a good summer scent for me as I'm not the biggest fan of the typical summer scents which often contain a lot of citrus and fresh floral notes - as those often are screechy on my skin.
I was afraid it would be too rosy for me, but it isn't. It's well blended and has a summery vibe but still has some warmth and depth from almonds. It almost smells like a creamy popsicle in a rose garden (with the roses on a slight distance)? Or Turkish delight.

perfumeaddict97

This is a very rosey and raspberry based perfume. I can aslo smell sparkly pink grapefruit although it is not in the notes. It smells very sparkly and fizzy and girly. I love this perfume and the packaging is beautiful too with the pink colour. It lasts a very long time and has great projection. Lovely for summer and spring!

casznava

PROS: Projection is great. Lasts very long and it's very prominent. It's sweet but NOT sickly sweet.

CONS: It can get a little annoying if I spray too much and I have to be in the mood for a fruit fragrance to wear this but not really a con.

This is definitely a summer fragrance more than anything. BERRY + ROSE I LIVE! I usually don't like sweet perfumes so I was hesitant about this one. Yes, it's sweet, but I didn't get nauseas and it's not sickly sweet, it's more fruity sweet. It reminds me of my childhood and dolls. Yes... dolls... which is probably from the cashmere+almond. But that doesn't mean that its for a little girl. This is great for any occasion but even better if your outdoors with the sun hitting your shoulders and breeze running through your hair with a tad of this fragrance; it smells amazing.

This fragrance is what I would have DIED for when I was 10 years old. This fragrance is what I wanted to be and still want to be LOL It reminds me so much of a plastic DOLL with pink lipstick and a beautiful dress with pale skin. If the Japanese word "Kawai" (cute) had a smell, it would be this fragrance. It smells a tiny bit synthetic and I live for synthetic sometimes. It smells like plastic but sweet yet daring and cute and curious!!

DAMN THIS IS GOOD.

mevans

I was very interested in this one because the notes are similar to one of my other favourites, Tresor Midnight Rose. GoN Forever is gorgeous. It is reminiscent of Tresor but the almond in Forever comes through very clearly on my skin and I'm really enjoying it. It's fruity and sweet, but not too sweet. There is the slight tartness from lemon. The florals are all beautiful and in particular the rose. It comes off as an expensive, elegant fragrance. It's light, cheerful and perfect for spring and summer. My husband doesn't always comment on liking my perfumes but he did with this one. The bottle has a real quality feel to it. It's heavy and solid and I like the design. I got this at Shoppers on the $20 shelf.

girldeadbug

Got a sample set of the pillar fragrance Girl of Now, then its flankers Forever and Shine. At first sniff from the bottles, Forever was the only one I liked. Now that I spray it again, Forever smells a lot like boxed hair dyes I’ve used in the past and I’m not really into it at this point. A very safe, boring fruity floral fragrance, with deeper notes in the back holding them together. I get the lemon peel if I inhale very hard, but Forever is more of a green perfume. The bottles are gorgeous but the peach color of the juice doesn’t match IMO. This isn’t particularly sweet. Fresh, fruity, floral. Definitely a spring/summer scent for day. Do not blind buy. I found a seller on eBay selling the 3 aforementioned samples together so look for that listing if you’re curious about the Girl of Now family.

Kastand1

I accidently bought this online instead of the original. The dry down of this smells like what Jessica Simpson Fancy smells like when you first spray it. Still a beautiful sweet fragrance but I would not buy again.

Me memes

GoN Forever does not quit..it really is fo-EHva! It’s a lemon peel and rose bomb on my skin. It’s been 45 min and I’m waiting for the actual dry down of vanilla or something. My arm is still kinda gleaming from when it was first sprayed. I can’t comment on the original or Shine, since I haven’t smelled it. I don’t smell almonds or vanilla. It’s just lemon, raspberry, astringent, and rosy. Do not blind buy this...I bought a travel spray cuz I didn’t know what I was gonna get. I’m glad I didn’t buy a bottle...this reminds me of poo-potpourri.

Rosemary14

I discovered a fragrance hack by layering Girl of Now Forever with Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc (the hot pink bottle) it smells very very similar to Delina PDM. I have GoNF layered with NR FM on one wrist and Delina on the other and they smell so much alike it’s incredible. Both wrists are equally beautiful as well.

Jacqueline7nt

Girl of now forever smells like a raspberry and lemon cocktail. The smell remains the same to me with a little musk at dry down. I love sweet perfumes but this is very sweet and doesn't excite me. The almond is there but over powered by fruit and the vanilla and musk is not enough at dry down IMO. I feel I smell like i have spilt a sweet cocktail on myself and it is a little nauseating.

I have to be clear, it is not horrible, i just don't like it. I thought about layering it but then i thought i have enough perfumes that i love to let this one go.

This was a blind buy based on the fact that I absolutely love the original girl of now and reviews suggested it is similar/ better etc, but this one doesn't work for me and i definitely prefer the original.

MoreScentsThanDollars

I noticed here the comparisons to Delina and seeing I love Delina exclusif but can't afford her, I figured I'll pick up a small bottle of this cutie and give her a honest try.
As I sprayed the first spritz of Forever, I thought to myself, There is no way She smells like Delina exclusif, If anything the opening reminded me of Fancy.
But that didn't last long and abracadabra, She's dried down into a gourgous Delina exclusif type sent on my skin. I can't believe it, I'm super happy with her and so happy for the comparison button as I'd not have known otherwise.
So my experience with Forever is, she starts off like a typical fruity sweet scent and morphs into a elegant, sweet, smooth fruity, pink rose.
Very nice. 💖
Edit, I can't say if she smells like Delina because I've never smelt her, But I can say she is very similar to Delina Exclusif and Forever can be found on line, quite affordable.

angienotesjunkie

Elie Saab is my favourite perfume house. They don’t follow the pack. There are no generic scents in this collection. Each fragrance is well blended and has great longevity. They are uplifting yet comforting and, as a bonus, they don't cost the earth to add to your collection! Every ES scent I have tried, has been an instant love. A couple of sprays instantly boosts my mood, making me feel amazing!

I was hesitant to purchase this one, despite my love of GON and Shine. Somehow I was convinced that the berry notes, would make this a miss for me. How wrong I was! I should have had more faith and known that it would be beautiful. Instead, I blind bought it, so my GON bottle collection would be complete :-)

The berry, lemon and rose combination is first to arrive. Authentic, sparkling. and refreshing. An instant mood lifter. Then the intoxicating GON signature almond, pistachio, orange blossom and vanilla join the party. They don’t dominate though. They mingle and compliment eachother beautifully, turning the berry/rose combination from fresh to slightly jammy. It’s SOOO good! A soft, comforting powder note from the musk and Cashmeran is in the background, with a restrained hint of patchouli that ties everything together.

This is such a pretty scent. It's lighter than Shine, which has a deep, delicious, syrupy hit coming from the pineapple. It's softer than the original, which is a delightfully addictive, heady almond/pistachio/vanilla/orange blossom bomb! Forever has a softer, fresher quality. The projection is lighter, though it is still strong. Longevity is excellent, as I've come to expect from all ES EDP's. She definitely belongs in the GON family. The finishing touch. The bottle. Its simply gorgeous! With the coral enamel flower detailing, around the neck of the clear pressed glass, complimenting the colour of the juice inside perfectly.

I really hope that there will be another GON soon. Maybe with some violet leaf and heliotrope notes :-)
.

Cmed

Lovely. The initial raspberry and lemon is perfect. One of those that instantly smells good without needing to 'give it a few minutes'. The nuttiness is still there but pulled into the background to let the fruits dominate. I didnt like 'shine' as I felt the pineapple clashed with the DNA of the line. This is different, the notes are blending really well. Although this fragrance is strong it has a lighter 'weight' than the others in the line. I love a fruity fragrance that can actually mimic a cool temperature, this almost smells like a breeze. Perfect summer option if you like the original, or even if the original was too heavy for you.

crystalistheone

This fragrance is very lovely, it shines due to the black currant note, most perfumes with the black currant note I love. The longevity and projection are not quite as strong as girl up now shine and the original. This is a great day spring summer scent. If you own the other two girl of now perfumes you will not be disappointed with this one.

mhdavis

I kind of like this scent but I don’t want to wear it. I only want to smell it for a couple minutes at a time because it gets overwhelming with the fruity sticky raspberry sweetness. It lasts a pretty long time on me so it starts getting on my nerves within 5 minutes and then I’m stuck with it. I haven’t tried the original girl of now (definitely want to) so I can’t compare the two. I do get the delina comparison but they are definitely not the same. I wouldn’t consider this a “dupe” per se, I’d just say that it has a similar vibe and feel to it. The only similarity it really has to delina is that the raspberry in this gives off a similar sweet/tart impression to the rose/lychee in delina. Delina is obviously much better quality and smells much more expensive (duh, it is). I’m not at all a delina fangirl but it is indeed a much better fragrance than this one. If you really like delina maybe you’ll like this one too. Or maybe you’ll hate it and feel that it’s a cheap obnoxious version of it.

Fragrance2123

@Rosemary 14 - You're looking at the wrong Elie Saab Girl of Now here, if you wanted tons of sweet marzipan almonds you should've checked out the original Girl of Now which is an almond-pistachio bomb.

Otherwise, you shouldn't judge this based on the indistinguishable almond note, because this Girl of Now stays far away from its origins. This is a happy, joyful, red fruits concoction - fresh raspberry, strawberry plus some vanilla. Beautiful scent, sunshine in a bottle!

strandsikr

Stunning!

This is a beautiful scent in my opinion. I love the opening of this perfumes. Lemoney and raspberry combined, making it fresh and sour. I really enjoy it. Later the scent get a little more depth on me the almond, blackberries and rose give it a peppery vibe. Then after a while I only get a vibe of vanilla and musk.

I agree that it is less sweet than the ofter perfumes in this line, but it is still a sweet perfum. Perfect for spring! I must admit it does not last long in the winter/ spring transition here, but I look forward using it in spring and hopfully make it last a little longer.

Kots_Tanya

I don’t understand where people can smell Delina here? I’m sorry but this one has nothing to do with Delina and has nothing to do on Delina. It’s a no go for me, just sweet fruity, I’d say it would fit a very young girl.
Delina is a beautiful fresh suffocating a little sweet peppery unique rose it’s no where near this one.

GiovannaArvizu

The first few times I tried this, it smelled like those Mexican fruit candy. They are called "Crystallized Fruit". Very sugary, and to me it had a grapefruit in the opening. It was very off putting at first. I tried it a few more times and I started to like it more and more. This is definitely fresh and sweet. And I love how long it lasts on me. I don't smell it constantly since my nose tends to get used to smells, but I would smell it when I would get out my car and the wind hits my hair, or when I would move a certain way that my clothes released the scent into the air. I think this is different. The sweet and citrus seem to fight for attention but at the same time it makes it more than just a sweet fragrance. It is way more elegant while still having a playful side, and well the bottle is just gorgeous.

MariaMy

It’s is okay... I literally bought this based on Mila Le Blanc Youtube review (which I like as a YouTuber but unfortunately blind buying 3 or her recommendations is what I did)
6.9/10 the original is also
6.9/10
Compared to other scents
I needed to layer is with another perfume to make it smell less “cheap”
Compliments 4/10
Would recommend layering it with something like viva la juicy gold to make it an evening scent.
Best wishes and sorry I had to be honest

octobertragedy

I am absolutely in love with this fragrance! This is one of the best examples of "do not judge a book by its cover", because even though I think the bottle is a jewel, I felt it was too girly for my liking and I would have never even have the curiosity to test it.
But my sister gifted me a sample and fell in love. I don't know how long our love affair will last... it might be just a "crush", but I will get a full size and use it fur sure this summer.
It's crisp, zesty, fresh, fruity scent (lemon, grapefruit, berries) with the perfect mix of warm musk, almond and cashmeran.
It reminds me of a sweet lemonade or a fruit scented icy tea. And yes, it's got that fresh deodorant vibe, but that makes it more feminine and wearable. It's not complicated, it's got an outstanding performance and it just smells GOOD. A nice break from extremely over priced, low performance, highly marketed fragrances in stores.

rainfairy

I bought a travel size of this to see if I like it. I do love it. Its very sweet. I can smell raspberry, almond, vanilla, musk and delicate flowers. This will be great for spring and summer. Its a feminine and fun scent. Its actually soft and light. Its beautiful. I like it a lot.

I saw Mila Le Blanc’s review on youtube that it has a vibe like Delina. It doesn’t. If you are looking for a dupe for Delina, Be Layered Fragrance sells First Kiss for $65, it smells like Delina. Girl of Now Forever smells so addictive. This is a gourmand. I love gourmand fruity florals. It smells like marshmallow Raspberry cotton candy in the dry down. 🥰 I 💗 this perfume. I will buy a full sized bottle of this next time.

I also have the original Girl of Now. I love that one too. The bottle is very beautiful and girly to display on my vanity.

Nicyoung

I am smelling Honey in this... its smells like a fresh little creamy almond but not enough to identify it.. its really good... little hint of powder but mostly smooth floral honey.. not warm or cold.. creamy satin honey orange flower. :)

KimmyKimKo

Ok so. I just found a gift set of this Fragrance (Girl of Now, Forever) at TJ MAXX with body lotion and shower gel for $44.00 USD. So of course I read some of the reviews from this site and decided to scoop it up. At first I get what others are saying about the grapefruit, but its Lemon zest and Raspberry. It does come off too strong and reminiscent of cleaning products IMO. Now that is has set and dried for about 30-45 mins it smells nicer. But I gotta say that on me... (I just closed my eyes and this is all I can smell now) It smells like FABRIC SOFTENER! downy or bounce or snuggle or something. It's nice I guess... definitely different than anything in my collection. We'll see where this goes. I do need a spring/summer scent. And who doesn't wanna smell fresh outta the dryer
:P

I ordered a sample of this by mistake, I meant to buy the OG version. I sprayed it on and was hit with a blast of grapefruit. I hate grapefruit and it turns into something awful and nauseating on my skin. I questioned why on earth I would have ordered something with grapefruit and ran to check the notes as I was expecting a nutty almond. That’s when I realized my mistake. So checking the notes of Forever, and seeing no grapefruit, let me assure you it’s in there. Ten minutes in it has settled, but I know how bad this will smell on me in an hour. If you like grapefruit, go for it. If it’s not your favorite, avoid at all costs.

Rejandrej2000

I have all 3 girl of now fragrances. Just like a previous reviewer had said, although this doesn’t list grapefruit in the notes, I definitely smell it. It’s sugared grapefruit to me and I love it.

dzingunyte

Too sweet, a scruber for me. Very synthetic.

I really want to buy the original but i'm afraid it doesn't fit my 90F country through the year. I bought the vial and tried this sample at Sephora, and I still can smell it on my body till the next day, though i took a shower twice! I wonder why it could last on my body??lol. In my opinion it's Very nice, sweet, fruity, and mature scent at the same time.
Maybe i should give up to this than the original one which everybody vote it for winter scent.

PastelMoon

Got a sample of it, I am not generally a fan of Ellie Saab scents. I admit that it is pleasant but the feeling it evokes is that of a drugstore fragrance (or even deodorant) shelf.
Indeed it smells like something from a Secret deodorant repertoire with a hint of bubblegum of cotton candy and lovely clean smelling shampoo.
Very innocuous yet without a distinct message to it, it may be idyllic, yet not at all artistic.

I'm waiting and waiting to be wowed by this perfume,

I had so high expectations for this tester which I got yesterday, because it has all of my favourite notes,

but after many, many hours - nottting ever happens - it smellls nearly nada on my skin, and the smell that is left - smells just blurk on my skin, I'm so very disappointed with this :((

masako_30

Imagine drinking a lightly sweetened purple blackcurrant tea, whose flavor and intensity are elevated to the nth degree.
Imagine also drinking it in the least exposed place of the house rose garden, where moss appears on the bark here and there, making it less pungent by its muscat/mellifluous aroma, whereas you think its taste is pure poetry

I got this by what turned out to be a happy accident. I had ordered regular Girl of Now, but was sent this by mistake. It was ineligible for return without a big argument so I decided to go ahead and keep it. I am SO glad I did, because Girl of Now Forever is absolutely beautiful, and has skyrocketed to the top of my favorites list.

I love citrus notes, but naturally, it’s difficult to get citrus to have any lasting power. Not with this! The opening lemon berry zing lasts for the duration of wear! The citrus is like candied lemon peel; the note here is the zest of the rind, not the sharper scent of the actual lemon fruit. Paired with the berry note, it’s fruity and fun, with no sharpness.. The longevity and performance of this perfume is excellent- it projects well and lasts hours, literally all day. The company’s website described this as reminiscent of a Lebanese lemonade- and I totally feel that. It’s like a refreshing summer treat. I don’t see much resemblance to the original Girl of Now, except that its performance is likewise awesome. GoN Forever is unique, bright, sparkly sweet and feminine without being overly “young,” and the blending is absolutely excellent. Hats off to Dominique Ropion (my favorite perfumer)! This is a gem.

Lithiumlilly

At first it is a slightly zezty "look at me smell",
then it drys down to a sliky gourmand whisper that seems to last forever.
I love that it comes off as gourmand but without being too strong or loud.
I like it..Maybe you will like it too?

eyeneedles

Smelled it like a minute ago and I can’t give a major review on it, but I just wanted to say that the vanilla note in this is lovely. I usually despise vanilla notes because they tend to be pretty bitter in a way but this is so soft, and sweet.. More like vanilla custard.

Emilleigh

There is a bright zingy citrus right at the opening. Twenty minutes in it reminds me so much of Manifesto.

elmccullar

I adore this perfume! I am a big fan of Elie Saab and this one does not disappoint.
Starts out a really sweet, fruity and a bit floral. I get raspberries and roses most prominently. It changes to a sweet (almost gourmand) almond vanilla, and the drydown is a bit fruity, a bit almondy, and a tiny pinch of patchouli.
It's quite a strong perfume and lasts for a long time on my skin and clothing.
It's a really sweet and pretty scent from top to bottom.
The bottle is beautiful too! It's very girly and elegant looking.

crocusderapr

Rose liked scent on my skin.

I thought this was going to have pink grapefruit in it because, to me, it smells like juicy pink grapefruit. Zesty, fresh, fizzy, fun, and young. I have a pink grapefruit body spray and I kept wishing I could find something like it but stronger and longer lasting. This is it!

But I shouldn’t be talking about pink grapefruit, should I, if there’s no pink grapefruit in it. But that’s the overall effect. Lovely for summer.

It’s a nice surprise too because I was sceptical when I tried it because I don’t like Girl of Now - it’s got that sweet vibe that I don’t like. But this flanker is a hit for me.

missk

I was tentative to try this flanker as I did not enjoy the original Girl of Now or Girl of Now Shine in the slightest. I am open to trying new things however, and I knew that there was a chance that Girl of Now Forever would be more my cup of tea.

I don't dislike Girl of Now Forever, in fact I really enjoy the drydown, but the top notes made me cringe. The opening of Girl of Now Forever on my skin was quite affronting and sharp. It smelt of sour lemons, bitter black currants and synthetic, overly sugared raspberry. I almost laughed it off, but found the drydown consisting of vanilla, almond, patchouli, musk, raspberry and orange blossom much more palatable.

Girl of Now Forever is a very strong fragrance, and if not careful, a few too many sprays could be headache-inducing. I tested Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud Satin Mood on the same day that I sampled Girl of Now Forever, and I found the drydown of this flanker to be a little similar, just minus the oud and the refinement.

I would actually class Girl of Now Forever as a fruity gourmand as the raspberry blends with the vanilla and almond in a way that resembles baked goods. This flanker will surely appeal to younger female consumers, it may even become a better seller than the original Girl of Now.

Nothing quite surpasses my love for Elie Saab Le Parfum, however, if I were ten years younger I'm sure Girl of Now Forever would have been in heavy rotation in my collection.

To me, this actually somehow smells like white tea with lemon, raspberries and vanilla on a slightly powdery/floral base. The blackcurrant gives it a hint of bubblegum. I did not care for the opening of this scent, at all.
But now almost an hour later, I do enjoy it! It's better than the original.
I'm not sure if I would buy this for myself tho.
Maybe this will fit a younger girl who wants her first more "grown up" scent?

ScarlettX

This is a very strong vanilla-almond scent, I also sense rose and orange flower.
A mix full of strong notes and very-very sweet.
I can't imagine myself wearing that scent.
It gets milder over time, but it's still way too sweet.

Edemay

Very pretty, very girly, if you are looking for a fresh raspberry scent look no further.
Unfortunately raspberry just doest do it for me personally but it is still a fragrance I would enjoy smelling on anyone else.
I kind of got a Mon Paris vibe with this.
I imagine Mon Paris being the older, louder more popular sister and this being the younger, more quiet yet prettier sister.
Definitely a summer scent, the citrus comes through nicely and overall the scent isn't super sweet.

Shwets

This is such a pretty fragrance! It is familiar smelling but really well done and a younger lively version of the original Girl of now which is heavy in patchouli.

The top notes do continue throughout after spraying till dry down and that's what makes this fragrance so wonderful. Its the top notes that i like the most and its evident.

Plus its long lasting and has very good sillage. Test on your skin as it may smell different than on clothes/paper strip. On me, the patchouli comes out stronger than on clothes.

terezzz

Girl of Now Forever is full of sweetness, fruitiness, and tartness. The initial burst is an equal balance of lemon and raspberry, but shortly afterwards the almonds and patchouli make an entrance. This is more tarte than sweet on my skin and I'd say the top notes remain in the background during the entire wear time of this fragrance. I just get super bubbly vibes from this while it still remains elegant. I can imagine it will be great for spring and summer and longevity is about 8-10 hours. Not very similar to the other two fragrances in the same range, and that's why it's such a good flanker to me. It is sweet but more fresh and less of a rich gourmand scent. If GoN was too sugary sweet for you, this one might be more to your liking!

Smells_Good

Perfect for summer. Instantly revitalises the senses on the opening burst, very intense citrus, sweet berry opening. So yummy! It is pricey, especially as it is a new release but being in the Southern hemisphere it couldn't have arrived at a more perfect time. It's not unfamiliar territory or new ground-breaking discovery as there is an air of familiarity with it, but it is very nicely done. For myself personally, I almost sense similar citrus vibes to Chanel's Gabrielle but it pains me to say that I love this a lot more.

cocofluff

This is so yummy! And it’s perfect for summer! Fresh. Juicy. Tart. I may like this one the best out of the entire 'Girl Of Now' line.

I’m not sure which note does this but I notice a crisp green note that gives this fragrance its freshness and it cuts through the sweet juiciness perfectly. I don’t get patchouli at all. It’s musky in the dry down. Lemon note lasts the entire wear. It’s a wearable lemonade. My favourite kind of fragrance for summer. I need a bottle!

Sprayed this liberally on a cute GON Forever card at the mall (Auckland, NZ) today and brought it home.

EDIT: I could smell it for a few days after! wow! It gets a bit fuzzy over time. -

Tomelise

Sweet, girly,lovely,pleasant...Great example of a good flanker. Worth checking out

IgnitingFlares

Although there's supposed to be only one flower note, this smells more like a flower bomb than V&R Flower Bomb. It's such a lovely fruity-floral, which I normally don't like!
It's a cheerful light fragrance -yet longlasting- , and simply lovely to look at!
It doesn't smell chemical or synthetic, really beautiful!

waskotransportation

I HAVE to buy this. Does anyone know where I can buy and have shipped to usa or when it will be available in USA?
I am DYING to get my hands on it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
