Le Parfum Resort Collection (2017) by Elie Saab is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Le Parfum Resort Collection (2017) was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Francis Kurkdjian. Top notes are Frangipani and Italian Mandarin; middle notes are Pomegranate, Orange Blossom and Jasmine Sambac; base note is Indonesian Patchouli Leaf.

Inspired by the summer high-fashion collections of the house, Le Parfum Resort Collection editions evoke the sea and summer sun reflection above the water. The new composition, as well the previous one, is signed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Notes of Italian red mandarin and frangipani in the top lead to the heart of pomegranate juice, orange blossom and Sambac jasmine. The base ends with a dose of Indonesian patchouli.

The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette.

Smells like a can of fruit cocktail mixed with orange blossoms. So beautiful and sweet and happy. It gets better the longer you wear it. Despite being chemicals it has a natural feel, natural enough you expect to attract bees and wasps if you wear it outside. It's hard to find a clean soapy fruity scent that DOESN'T smell like shampoo, but this one nails it. Really enjoyable.

Disclaimer: I adore this scent. I live in tropical country, and this is perfect evening scent for evenings after beach, when I got sun burn (not on purpose duhh) buttt:
This reminds me the scent of glitter gel pens that was popular in early 2000s. Ahhh the nostalgic scent🥲. But yeah for sure it’s much more complex, and we’ll blended but still I can’t get this association out of my head.
Moderate projection and lasting power.

JessicaEllen

This is my favorite frangipani frag, probably my favorite elie saab as well.

PlanetGrl

Pretty but quite similar to the original le parfum, very strong and heady. Too heavy for me.

Blueberry1309

PM me if you're in Europe and are interested in a bottle (40ml/50ml).

This smells SO MUCH of wild strawberries! It's for sure the feature that really stands out about it. After some time you will smell some clean, white flowers coming through. It's a PERFECT summer scent, I only wish it wasn't limited edition, my bottle is soon empty unfortunately.

Lollo

Dynamic, I've had this for years and it still surprices me. I have an old version, bought it for a long time ago. I keep it in my bathroom cabinet but the quality is still perfect. It takes a lot of different shapes depending on the temperature when you weare it. Depending on your skin and where you spray it. All of the images are just wonderful. It smells like warm flowers, something above normal average. White flowers, cotton and some musk ish. Long lasting. I wake up in the morning and wonder what that good smell is on my pillow, later understanding it's the perfume from yesterday taking another level. I love this perfume and I am sorry that it probably is'nt on the market anylonger.

saccitygrl01

I got this off mercari convinced I was going to love it given the pomegranate note. However, I really don't detect pomegranate, mandarine or any fruit note in this. This is just another orange blossom/patchouli fragrance that seems to be everywhere these days. Pleasant but nothing special. Its generic quality has made me shy away from this label completely. I did keep a 10 mL decant of it and gave the rest of the bottle to my daughter.

Chellywellie

I appreciate this but it’s not for me. The mid is very tropical, flowery, creamy, hot weather appropriate, and you get the original Parfum DNA in the dry down. I actually like that about it - it changes so much with time. But the pomegranate at the top reminds me of a Dettol Pomegranate Surface Cleaner that we sometimes use, and makes me want to sneeze. It sticks around - which is great if this works for you.
Maybe I should stay away from pomegranate notes… or just stop cleaning my house instead?

lindseyhansford

I do enjoy this, but unfortunately I don't have room in my collection for this anymore. If anyone in the US would like to buy a barely used 3.4 oz bottle, message me :)

fireworks_hurricanes

I couldn't really distinguish this from the original at first. It wasn't until I was walking through London in 35 degree weather, the mid afternoon sun glaring down, that it suddenly came alive and I fell in love. It is a true summer fragrance for me and in the heat it becomes truly tropical. The juicy pomegranate really comes to life and the frangipani is just beautiful. This has become my holiday fragrance and I save it for the hottest of days. I really don't like coconut so it's great to find a tropical fragrance that doesn't rely on that note.
I find the original can be a little heavy in warmer weather whereas this version has enough freshness to carry it.

RainbowGirl

Normally I wear strong floral fragrances on my morning runs, but I decided to switch it up this morning, and wear this lovely flanker.

I forgot how much I love this fragrance. When I am in the mood for orange blossom, I almost always reach for the original. The original is just so sparkling, classy, and perfect for work.

In this gem, you do get a hint of the original, but the frangipani in the opening makes it a hint tropical, and the pomegranate makes this super fruity fresh.

The pomegranate is the main note, and mixed with the orange blossom, it smells like... if Tang came in pomegranate flavor. Super fun, great projection, amazing scent.

The patchouli is very light in this fragrance. Almost undetectable. Doesn't last as long as the original, but is really good for an EDT.

My favorite of the Le Parfum flankers, and if you like fruity floral scents, a safe blind buy.

Murmur123123

I have the original Le Parfum EDP which I really like. Generally I like floral / white floral scents, less so for fruity scents. This one opens up with a freshly sweet fruity scent, but it is not too overly sweet. The orange blossom comes out in about 10 minutes and is supported by the fruity sweetness, which is much lighter and more airy than the sweetness given by the honey note in the Le Parfum EDP. Overall I like this one more than I expected. It is a good choice for spring and summer.

CRiche

I really love this scent. It’s yummy, fun, and playful! The only problem for me is there is zero lasting power. I have to take the bottle with me when I wear it to reapply. So I will enjoy this bottle but I will not repurchase. That being said if I saw it marked down really low I’d snatch it up quick🤣
Edit: ok I lied. I bought a bigger bottle this time🤣

Cosmina07

If Le Parfum from Elie Saab (the original) and L’interdit, Givenchy would have a baby😅 this is it

little_red_corvette

I normally don't do blind buys because I don't want to waste money, but I made an exception for this. I saw SokiLondon recommend this on youtube many times. Since I adore the original Le Parfum and like the note of pomegranate, I went for it. I am so glad I did! This is a lovely airy version of the original with an added fruitiness of the pomegranate. In the opening I smell the frangipani, which gives a marzipan vibe. In the drydown it basically smells like just orange blossom and pomegranate. I'm incredibly happy with this purchase and know I am going to enjoy this in summer.

Cindy202

This reminds roberto Cavalli Cavalli Parfum! Dry down its very similar on my skin.. Must be the Orange flower. Though the first sprits this is more fruity and summery. But if you like Cavalli you propably like this one also. Mature summer scent. Beautiful and elegant, but not for me.

Sreza7

This smells exactly like the original Le Parfum.

Mariamaija Amélie

this one is FUN, sparkling, sweet, flirtatious, bubbly, juicy, fruity and extremely long lasting. The flowers are made delicious, however strange that may sound. It is pure lightheartedness in a bottle. Not childish or immature at all - just simply VIVACIOUS. My favorite out of all the Elie Saab I have smelled and owned.

hfigures

It is fruity and sweet and lives up to being a resort fragrance in that it is perfect for warm weather. I chose it today for brunch on an island resort. It can take you from poolside to candlelight dinner. This is the only Ellie Saab fragrance I have and I look forward to sampling more.

SeauxGood

To me, the 2017 Resort Collection is a high dose of frangipani, with the orange and pomegranate coming in a close second. I smell some of the jasmine and orange blossom, but the overall composition is very sweet. It smells like the kind of fruity cocktails they’d serve in a Tiki Bar. Definitely a Summer daytime fragrance. A little sweeter than my tastes. Something about it is giving Garnier Fructis vibes, but it’s wearable.

Duft Liebe

This was a recommendation by Soki London from YT. And I am so glad I bought it blind (discontinued) some weeks ago. It is still quite easy to find on ebay for a decent price.

This is absolutely beautyful. This is my summer scent ´20 and I might back up another bottle (even though there is already waiting the blue bottle for me, no opened yet).

I believe there is something artificial about the start, but this is what I always get with pomegranate. This always smells a little artificial to me in perfumes.

But after that - just gorgeous. Fresh and fruity, but with a `deepness`. Sweet, but somehow sour in a good way. It is so ladylike and still `girlie`.

And then there is this really good staying power. I will still smell it in the evening on my clothes. The sillage must be quite strong, because other people are getting it. I have to retain myself from overspraying...

Lovely, lovely, lovely. One of my very best blind buys and favourite perfumes.

bintTapputi

I compared both 2015 and 2017 versions at the same time on my skin.

Overall I think the main difference between the two is the top notes. I think 2017 is sweeter, more fruity, and a bit bolder/bigger with a musky quality. I agree with Holli below, this is "thick" and "velvety" which is really delicious. Such an ideal summer fragrance! I really love it and enjoy it's lightness, it's really gorgeous. 8/10

RosieRose16

To me this smells like a fruity drink in a garden full of clean Jasmine. Something about it makes me want to say it's fizzy - obviously a smell can't be fizzy but that is how this comes across. It lasts well, maybe 5-6 hours. I am a bit of an oversprayer so that is based on around 10 sprays. It's not overpowering or headache inducing (I find a lot of jasmine scents can be, maybe it'sthe frangipani toning it down?). It does have the elie saab DNA but I think it's different enough to have both. Perfect for summer or on holiday. It has gone straight into my top 5 because it was exactly what I was looking for and I love it.
This is the first time I have ever bought a back up bottle as I have only recently discovered this scent and it's already discontinued.

forêt

My initial reaction was hate but it is turning to love I think! I just love warm scents more- I am wearing Ambre Précieux today, testing Armani Privé Bleu Lazuli on one arm but in my right knee I have this because I blind bought it and I’m starting to dig it! I can see the multifaceted genius of MFK as well- wow! I will update again if I actually WEAR wear it.

GiovannaArvizu

I am in love with this one. I agree that during the first spray it can give a Mango smell, but it is more of an Orange peel. An adult fruity scent, reminds me of Angel Cruisere (the mango one). Ir reminds me of a tropical drink. I love it all year round but it is definitely a summer appropriate fragrance. I live in AZ.. And even in 120 degree weather, it is perfect.

Holli

Very sweet and very plush! Some fragrances feel like they have a texture almost, and this one is very thick and velvety to me. I would say it also smells modern because of how sweet it is. When I first tried it, it reminded me a bit of Versace Blonde. I guess that sweet floral start does it. Very similar to the newest iteration of L'interdit too.

bronni666

For me, the pomegranate spoils it. There is a pretty and sweet scent underneath but it never comes up for air because the tart pomegranate overpowers it from beginning to end.

Freckleface

This one is magical!!

Cairo Rose

Gorgeous adult fruity floral...is like a mix of ES parfum and EDT(patchouli is toned down) with a splash of fruit juice added...I had moderate sillage and longevity...will buy a bigger bottle for sure!

gabbi4god

I really wanted this perfume because to my nose this is the sweetest perfume I’ve ever smelled.
It smells exactly like Grape Bubble Yum bubblegum! When I’m in the mood for something girly and sweet I wear this. So fun! Synthetic but fun and yummy!

piccolo3001

Gorgeous fragrance by Francis Kurkdjian. Having too many fragrances with jasmin, I decided I want to swap / sell it. If you are interested please let me know!

Mrs.Allard

This fragrance reminds me of Britney Spears Believe but way less patchouli. It has a Boozey fruit and honey with delicate white florals vibe and is very pleasant if not just a touch generic. I like it! The more I wear it the more I get the Elie Saab gene from it. It's a very light scent so I over spray it and reapply throughout the day.

Alces Alces

I used to think there was no better orange blossom scent than Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette. Well, I am wrong. Great as that one is, THIS is better!

I also used to think there was no stronger orange blossom scent than Cologne of Love by Couvent de Minimes. Wrong again. THIS is stronger!

The pomegranate gives voluptuous depth to the orange blossom in a way I can't adequately describe. Sweet and rich, Le Parfum Resort 2017 is that rare thing - a tropical fruity white floral that DOES NOT smell cheap! Nothing like a body spray! A luscious and beautiful perfume. Addictive, powerful, wonderful. Just when you get used to the orange blossom and pomegranate accord, the frangipani appears. There is a riff on Alien, too, with sambac jasmine that lightly comes and goes.

If you see this anywhere, just BUY IT. No need to test. If you love orange blossom, you need this. Better than the original Elie Saab Le Parfum EDT, and that is saying a LOT!

sugar_sweet

Almost the same as the original Elie Saab but it feels like this one is more intense and longer lasting.

Michylaka

Elie Saab Resort 2017 has got to be the best fragrance I have found at TJ Maxx in a long time. I love the Orange Blossom note done by Elie Saab. So for $29USD I had to give her a go. The OB is apparent in this juice but is mixed with Pomegranate, Frangi Pangi and Jasmine. It also has some Patchouli that is gorgeous on the drydown.

I have not tried the 2015 Resort formulation but I think I need to hunt that one down now too. I have some of the ES Signature line which I find very well made and the longevity is outstanding on me. This one is no exception. It is an EDT that wears about four to five hours on me much like Mugler's Alien EDTs (Shine, Eau Extraodinare and Flora Futura) which I also love wearing. This one is in the same genre. They are Loud and Proud at first but then they abate. This one is a great one in the heat as it is not all that cloying and divinely tropical. Give her a try if you see her at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I did and I recommend!

Cathped

This one is so wonderful! And I finally got my hands on it. I havent been able to forget it since I smelled it in an airport...it smelled like Strawberries I remember! I m so happy to have it now, since its a Limited edition. My first Elie Saab perfume...! Love it!

PerfumeEmpress

UPDATE: actually, I decided I like the one in the blue bottle better. This one is good, but the fig together with the frangipani produce a sweeter scent.

I bought this because I have the 2015 version, which I love to pieces. This is very similar only it has pomergranate intead of fig. Which is better? The 2015, or the 2017? Since to me they are so similar I love both. I love this kind of summer fragrance. Not the usual aquatic/ozone/citrus/coconut concoction we are deployed by come the season.

Good staying power for a EDT, but I wish they would come up with the EDP.

Smh1191

Opens very sweet and the pomegranate is not tart enough for my liking. It smells red, but after the dry down its tolerable because of the patchouli. Not my usual type of perfume but im keeping it because i think i would like it more in the frigid winter when sweet would be welcomed.

IrisLily

This is a full bodied fragrance! It is sparkly and in your face. It reminds me of Alien but with a splash of berry or koolaid. It also smells like the original. It leaves a big scent trail. I really liked it at first spray, but I don't think I would wear it enough to keep it. I found it at TJ Maxx for 39.99.

nikoleta1

Replica of original Le perfume edt with less longevity and berry notes at the opening.
Musky notes dominated after a few minutes of spraying. Complete disappointment as I already have a few Le perfumes at home.

osy2017

I absolutely love this perfume, I have nothing like it. It smells like some tropical flowers, not too sweet, with some kind of slightly bitter note I enjoy a lot. First the package and some reviews almost turned me away from this amazing fragrance. It is somehow sweet in a more mature way.

SailorV

This starts so sweet, it really reminds me of bubblegum. To me, orange blossom is the strongest note here, more so than frangipani. The pomegranate is very pronounced, too, giving the fragrance a juicy fruity note. Mixed with the bubblegummy sweet florals, I agree with some other reviewers that it smells like ripe wild strawberries taste. I would call it a summery floral gourmand.
Unfortunately, it turns sour on my skin after some hours. When the fruity and sugary aspects vanish, a very clean and sharp patchouli note joins the white flowers and ruins it for me. It's better from afar, but directly on my skin the drydown smells too soapy and not rounded enough for my taste.

I guess this is a matter of skin chemistry, things like that happen to me sometimes. I would still recommend fans of sweet tropical florals and strawberries to try this, I'm sure it will work better for others.

zozo87

Strawberry Bubblegum in the most uplifting, feminine and mature way! Blind buy for me and I reallyyyy love it!
Works wonder in combination with other fragrances(Guerlain L'instant and NR for her)

pinkalpaca

Smells like mulled wine + patchouli. Complex, fruity but on me quite unisex. Spicy-sweet but definitely NOT sugary or gourmand. The bottle is more girly than the actual juice.

JenJones28

I wanted this because of the frangipani. Unfortunately with the pomegranate the frangipani is almost too sweet and it also gets rather lost in the mix. This is still a good fragrance if you are looking for something very sweet but not candy like. It has a fresh fruit sweetness and not a sugary sweetness like aquolina or Ari by arianna Grande. It’s still incredibly sweet, just fruity and no pronounced caramel or burnt sugar. I wish I could get more of the frangipani but this is still a good choice if you like sweet fruity fragrances.

Pmy

The scent is good! It has floral and berry notes that quite fit the resort theme being the fragrance itself smells like summer. Although I like the scent, I cannot say the same for its projection and longevity. Projection was so soft and close to the skin and this only lasted 3 hours on me.

*I live in a tropical country.

Ulriben

Forget about pomegranate. This smells just like wild strawberries in Scandinavia.

PerfumeEmpress

I desperately want to try this because I love the 2016 (blue bottle)so much.

If anyone can spare me a sample, please drop me a line. Just click on my name.

Thank you!

bunnylungs

At first I was drawn to this perfume because of the colors of the bottle. Thought it smelled ok in the bottle cap. But when I got a spray on my skin and on the testing paper I totally changed my mind. Now this scent only remind me of the HORRIBLE smell in the toilets of some bar's they are using to cover up bad smell.... uugh NO NO NO.....

twinmalaysia

When I first smelled this I was like "Oh. My. God. This smells exactly like wild strawberries in a bottle!"

I'm actually quite surprised that noone has mentioned this yet, but to me this fragrance does not smell anything like its described notes, it just smells like sweet delicious WILD STRAWBERRIES - it's like your childhood bottled up (and no, not the regular big strawberries).

This is a very unique sweet perfume. The sillage is amazing - fills the room and it's quite long lasting as well. And the diffuser is amazingly smooth - it comes out as a mist.

missk

I adore Elie Saab Le Parfum and the way it wears on my skin. As I am on the hunt for a wedding day scent, I thought it wise to test some of her flankers. Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017 seemed like the perfect place to start.

Le Parfum Resort Collection opens super juicy and sweet all thanks to the pomegranate and mandarin accords. I wasn't expecting this fragrance to be quite so fruity, I was rather hoping that the orange blossom note would feature more prominently. It's a very pretty, youthful scent however it's not quite me and to be honest fruity florals rarely are.

The fruity aspect of this fragrance persists for at least the first three hours of wear before settling into a lush orange blossom and jasmine blend which is not unlike the original Le Parfum.

Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017 would make a fun and playful addition to anyone's wardrobe, more so if you happen to live in a warm climate. Essentially this flanker is best suited to the younger market and for summertime wear. I find it a little too sweet for my personal tastes. The original Le Parfum is more my cup of tea.

Lilmary310

I LOOOOOOOVE this!!! It's unlike any other typical floral I've smelled. It is the perfect combination of sweet & floral. I have a rather extensive perfume collection and this is my favorite. It's bright, crisp, feminine and commands attention. It is a daytime, summer/spring fragrance only. I love Elie Saab perfume packaging also. This is my holy grail perfume....and as an added bonus, not every other girl smells like it (ahem, FlowerBomb). It's limited edition and will be purchasing a backup.

kateapple

I was so eager to get my hands on this, and I'm not disappointed! The original Resort Collection perfume is one of my favorites, and I love the original EDT as well. I would put this somewhere between the two. It absolutely has the underlying scent of the Elie Saab signature perfume. Sweet, creamy dreamy neroli and orange, rich jasmine, etc. In fact, that was what I could smell right away, and was concerned that I wasn't going to get anything else! But of course, the frangipani came through, and strong. On me, it took awhile for the pomegranate to finally come out, but that was the best part.
I think within the Elie Saab "signature" line (Couture, Resort, Rose, etc), the original Resort is the only scent that stands on its own; the rest are definitely tied deeply to the original EDP. They all offer something unique, but are flankers to be sure. Rose + the original, almond + the original, and here it's pomegranate + the original. If you love the original scent but want something a little more fruity and juicy, go for this. If you want something in the vein of Elie Saab but that has a distinctly different scent, opt for the original Resort scent.

Soofiya

Tested it today and now it's in my wantlist
As soon as I sprayed it I could detect elie saab gene in it.anyone who is familiar with elie saabs can say it's a elie saab with closed eyes but at the same time it has it's own personality.it has a summary vibe, sweet and delightful
On my skin it's a less heavy elie saab intense+sparkly pomegranate+soft, creamy, bright exotic florals.I believe pomegranate, which is dominant here, gives it fresh, juicy, summary vibe and has a big role in making it different from it's sisters.I like it a lot and I think it deserves to be popular, much better than previous resort(blue one).all elie saabs have great sillage and projection On my skin but their longevity isn't the best.one little spray of this one lasted on my hand for four hours(with amazing sillage in first hour).in everyday perfumes and skinscents longevity is an important factor for me but elie saabs are perfumes for special occasions and in this case sillage and projection is what really matters for me.this red, sparkly new member of elie saab family is a yes for me.it's 90mil bottle is too expensive for me but I will buy it's 50mil for sure

Lyoness

Oh.my.goodness. I went perfume shopping with a friend, and I was attracted to this vibrant red bottle. I've always loved Elie Saab fragrances, particularly Intense, finding them so distinctive, and as soon as we sprayed this one we were both instantly enthralled! We couldn't quite put our finger on it, but it has a lollyish, nostalgic scent, like childhood sweets (thanks to all those who identified the bubblegum similarity! If Chanel chewed gum this is probably what it would smell like!). While it's sweet, it's not one of those cloyingly sweet perfumes, and dries down to a pleasant and creamy tropical aroma. It's such an enigmatic scent; I live in Australia so I happen to love the frangipani note in particular, and I'm a sucker for pomegranate, but I think it's the Indonesian Patchouli that gives it that added sophistication. I got it as an early birthday present and I can't wait until my birthday so I can spray it every day!

PocketRocket

Yes the base of this version is definitely a lot of the Le Parfum original. It is unmistakable.
Of all the Elie Saab, this has the most lively opening. The previous versions will strongly but softly transition to their bases, this one is a bit different.
The first blast is sweet, tart and juicy. It will demand your attention. I concur with the bubblegum comparison but not your run-of-the-mill synthetic bubblegum. It doesn't reach gourmand territory.
After all that vibrant opening, comes the Le Parfum original. That sharpness, piccolo-like brightness (that may be too chemically to some) is present here. The other 3 tall versions (Blue Resort, Rose Couture, Le'Couture) didn't have that quality. I can't shake the feeling that various notes from the other versions were pulled and incorporated in this.

aqua76239

I own Resort Collection from last year and love it-its very tropical floral, very lush, more of a white floral.

So when I was at Nordstrom's today, I was excited to try this year version. Upon smelling it first, I was in LOVE-it was SO fruity and tropical, so juicy smelling it was amazing. So I spray myself several times and thinking "man, this is the ONE new scent I need"
10 minutes later it transforms into "regular" Elie Saab. Which is too chypre for my taste and too bitter floral so I can't wear it even though I like it.
Ah FUDGE!
That was the end of THAT love affair. If you like regular Elie Saab, and just wanted more summery version with fruit, this maybe right up your alley.

Arlene-Beatrix

Very sweet, tropical punch. Lots of fruits and frangipani. I like it but it's one dimensional, with no WOW factor. Anyway, it's perfect for spring, summer and early fall.

CB23

Shopping for a Mother's Day gift today I was drawn to the bottle by the amazing colour. I don't often try women's fragrances unless I'm getting a gift, really liked this one, not surprised to see Kurkdjian involved, I usually enjoy his fragrances

iamoir

Oh this one is beautiful for sure! It's sweet but not gourmand, which I really appreciate in a perfume. From first spray it is fruity sweet and then gradually becomes a deep borderline tropical wine-y floral scent.
A "cleaned up" patchouli, which surprisingly I like, despite my love for the medicinal earthy type, but it works here, and honestly to my nose it's the second, maybe third more intense note.
Jammy and delicious in the best way. Blended well and very balanced, sometimes I can't tell the notes apart. That's a good sign for a perfume. An intoxicating and addictive fruitchouli; maybe the fruitchouli other fruitchoulis wanted to be, but instead they smell just okay or are mediocre blends. Please make it a staple in the line!
Cannot complain about the sillage, it reaches my nostrils only being sprayed on my wrists and as for longevity it reaches my six hour limit time. So longevity is not a problem.
A yes from me.

P.S.: if you like Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, chances are you will like this too, only Resort 2017 is less headier and not as dense. But to me both belong to the same family

blueviolet

Gorgeous! Very summery and almost tropical yet not in a cocktail kind of way. I agree with previous comments that it smells of bubblegum at first. It might sound like it would be childish but actually it's quite sophisticated. I am a fan of Elie Saab perfumes and I do smell that signature note in this. Yes, the original is there, in the middle somewhere more so than in the absolute drydown. Perhaps if you have the original or the edt you might feel it's not necessary to get this. But if you're a fan or enjoy the twist of this, I don't think you'd be disappointed. It's lovely, fresh, moderately sweet and well rounded. I might have to add this to my collection.

genny17

I really like that one, thank you Miss Cherie for the big sample! it is juicy fresh, smells great, summery, a hint tropical, nice creation, compliments getter too..I detect frangipani, the juicy mandarin, and some floral notes.I like that it isnt all sweetness, and women of all ages could enjoy this..
now to me no similarities with Intense, with its floral spiciness..this is different.
Update: I have been wearing it for a couple days, and it is a bit like an Escada fragrance to my nose, I expected it to be more floral, but on me, it is like a bath and body works scent..it does turn a tad soapy on me too..
The Resort don't have the quality the other elie Saab have..not that it is bad, it would work in summer, but it isn't really working for me.

Ms. Cherie

First few minutes is BUBBLEGUM! LOVE it anyway!! I'm not really sure what frangipani smells like but there is a creaminess to this in the beginning, not powder. As it progresses, it is similar to the discontinued EDT but more fruity. Bright and very pretty and will be nice for warmer weather.

Edemay

Such a gorgeous scent
Intense powdery sweet bubblegum florals but it still manages to not be cheap or too young smelling.
If you are a sweet tuberose lover you have to try this.
I also get a hint of something green in this which nicely balances out the sweetness.

hagenlene

Lovely as the premier one, love both, great summerscent

They were giving tester cards today & thought lets give it a try
it's sweet in a bubble gum way
not sure if I will ever buy it one day
it's Autumn time here in Australia so not the season for floral fruity scents at the moment
Will reconsider next spring :)

Well, I couldn't detect much frangipani in it. I live in Australia and I am familiar with the smell of this gorgeous flower. To my nose this smells like Le Parfum Intense version which I already own and love, a bit more sweeter. Great projection and longevity for an edt and value for a price.

The review below is spot on. All is said. It is a shame really because the opening of this fragrance is intoxicating. I have Eli Saab intense and I can't see the point of having both.

So I was looking forward to trying a scent with a Frangipani note. For those who haven't experienced it, it is an unbelievable lovely flower, soft and creamy to the touch, with a unique scent. And there it was for me in the opening note along with a soft fruity note of the pomegranate. An interesting thing then happened into the drydown. This scent turned into Elie Saab le Parfum original, exactly. That very, very lovely scent. Longevity is excellent, the scent still lasting through 3 hand washes and creams. It would just be redundant to own this as well as the original, it's that exact. I love the Elie Saabs, they all have a very joyful effervescent quality to them, reminding me of variations of a sherbet sweet. If you don't yet own the original, I highly recommend you try this one, especially if you are looking for some Frangipani ❤

Have it on right now, 5 hours latter still can feel it.
The opening is sooo good! Really sweet and cozy, you can really feel it especially the pomegranate. But it fades quickly and becomes a skin scent 30min latter.
