Go to classy, unobtrusive, feminine and elegant fragrance. On my second bottle!

Astar

After the cheaply sweet Le Perfume Royal this is like a breeze of fresh air. Mandarine Orange makes an appearance here as well, but muted with white musk and jasmine, it performs in a more grown-up, sophisticated manner. It is classy, yet not too demanding, sweet, yet not headachy. A memory of the first Elie Saab launches and my love for their infinite classiness.

Venussweden

One of my loves, happy spring in a bottle. Sweet, fresh, floral, honey, with depth… strong with great sillage… if you like scandal by JPG you might like this too, they have similar vibe.

bringprivateaccordback

not quite sure how I feel about this yet - testing for the first time today. the opening was very nice, sweet but classy and soft, fruits and florals worked well together. however, rather quickly this has turned kind of soapy on my skin. still delicate and classy, but kind of screechy. maybe the balsam and benzoin are not for me. probably not my scent although the I enjoyed the opening.

The smell of roses

This fragrance exudes a sense of class and sophistication, far from being old-fashioned or reminiscent of a grandmother's perfume. In my opinion, it's absolutely worth the investment. It's an elegant gourmand perfume with notes of orange blossom and sweet praline. The blend is impeccable, combining white florals with a sweet undertone, making you feel as if you're enveloped in a cloud of goodness.

I didn't find it overpowering or cloying, it's nothing like Angel or Poison. It's suitable for office wear. I would recommend reserving this for cooler weather, as this is when I find myself craving the sweetness of gourmand fragrances. It has a strong projection for about 3-4 hours, but I could still detect it as a skin scent 8+ hours later. Considering its price tag, it's a fantastic perfume and quite a crowd-pleaser.

This is not a teenage perfume, as it targets a slightly older audience that appreciates elegance and well-refined fragrances. If you're a fan of Elie Saab Le Parfum, you're likely to love this one, but don't assume they're very similar. I would recommend testing it before purchasing. Le Parfum in White was created by Francis Kurkdjian, and it feels like one of his best creations.

If you're like me and love to keep a variety of perfumes in rotation, causing your bottles to last for years, expect this perfume to change its color to a darker shade. However, this doesn't affect the scent. I just sprayed my bottle from 2019, and it still smells divine. I would definitely repurchase when the bottle runs out.

This review is based on actual use of the parfume and not a one time test experience. I have a bottle of 50ml of Le Parfum in White. Also have a big bottle of Le Parfum, which I re purchased over the years. Also love Le Parfum Rose and Lau. However I absolutely hate the Royal eddition.

LSAUG

This a nice enough perfume but it this scent profile has been done. It reminds me of my bottle of libre intense without the lavender. I'm surprised this was marketed as a wedding day perfume. It smells much to everyday for that. To sweet sugary and generic for such a special occasion. I have YSL Libre Intense (my husband loves it and bought it for me) and the toilette which I prefer. This is very sweet and cloying orange blossom and needs an aromatic note to help cut some of the sweetness. Or better yet don't put so much ethyl malitol in the perfume to begin with. Libre toilette has tea which in my opinion this fragrance could use. It's not bad but if you HATE sweet perfumes stay away from this one.

Blossomlove

This reminds me of a less sweet version of Oriana by PDM. If that one was too sweet for you, give this a try. I do not think this is too sweet at all. LDBS and LVEB are examples of scents that are too sweet for my taste. I wouldn't say the orange blossom is the star of the show here, I actually can't really figure out if it has a star since it's blended so well. Maybe the red berries and vanilla?

This also is a dupe for Fleur Narcotique, not exactly on opening, but once they dry down they're pretty spot on so If you're wanting FN, but not wanting to pay that price, give this one a shot. You can get 1 oz. of this for $35 at Fragrancenet.com. FN is a bit brighter on opening but they smell SO similar. I have FN on one side and LPIW on the other and they are VERY similar. This has become sweeter on me since the first spray so again, if you're not into sweet fragrances, this isn't for you, but it's not cloying or juvenile.

violetsss

I blindly chose this one among few when I had to pick a gift and I chose It based on the name and the white cap expecting a light, soft and gentle fragrance. But no, too sharp, overwhelming combination. Extremly long lasting though! Also on me it doesnt develop enough, It's the same from start to finish, sorry...

Silverbell

"So youthful yet classy scent" Uhh.. no? Don't get me wrong it's a pretty scent but I expected something lighter. This one is heavy with orange and honey. I expected soft white florals. Smells almost like an old book. I can't carry this, it's way too mature for me, will probably suit someone 40+. The scent is also pretty generic, like a mixed up beautystore.

CatOwned

I like this one much more than the regular Ellie Saab Le Parfum. There is nothing indolic in this one. Even so, this isn't particularly unique within my collection, so I am glad I just have the mini. I definitely think this is similar to Zara Golden Decade.

aprilsantiano

This is a blind buy for me and oh my god what a beautiful fragrance! This is so classy and sophisticated totally worth it in my opinion.

Charlene:3

Feel like I've smelled it before, it's not bad but not great either, not my taste. A more serious pleasant scent for certain occasions, long lasting. I mostly smell orange, a heavy honey and vanilla. Not cloying.

valentinarose

If you enjoy sweet honey, white florals, strong projection and long lasting this is for you. I wouldn't recommend wearing this during warmer seasons, since it can be very strong and heady. Could be a good bridal fragrance.

Mia80

AMAZING. it's like a garden opening on your hand. I does remind me of the youth, innocence. I'm so captured by this scent that I have to come back to say something more.

Thykes10

The opening is very sweet- likely from the red berry note. To my nose it's like a raspberry but there's a sugary sweetness as well. There is a warm orange blossom but there is an overall candy sweetness. Overall, I'd describe this as a candy vanilla musk with white florals. I found it cloying the first wear but not as bad the second wear. Definitely would reserve this for cooler weather. Strongest projection for about 3-4 hours but I could still smell it as an intimate/skin scent 8+ hours later. Overall the candy sweetness isn't for me.

tovasignature

It's strange that I only crave this in the fall. It's finally cool enough to wear. I can't discern any particular notes listed above - however, every time I wear thus I smell candy apples! The fall means candy apples and cider. So, with that said, I smell like candy apples on a background of EL vintage 'Knowing'. Perfect fall smell!

Rayan Abusrour

best birthday gift I could've ever asked for.
this is amazing all around
amazing scent, and amazing performance.

differently not an everyday scent for some, as it's harsh (not in a bad way), but suitable for night out, or even a day date.
one of the few white florals that I actually like!

Smeraldina77

I like it better than the original Le Purfum, but in the drydown it reminds a lot of Coco Mademoiselle, which I don't dislike, but I find it a bit boring.

Elena.B83

I'm currently trying this on. I sprayed it around 9.30 this morning ( it's 14.00 now) at the store and it was pretty intense in the opening. Patchouli hit me first so I wasn't sure if I like it, but then those white florals came through and I was more into it although I'm not usually white florals type of person. I don't sense beries and it's not very sweet on me. As it's drying down I love it more and more. Patchouli becomes softer and nicely blended with amber which is one of my favorite notes in perfumes. I think it's wearable at any time of day and any season.

Seranity

Apsolutely love my first wear test of this. It's one of only 2 elie saab perfumes that I can handle, the other one being girl of now shine. Most are just too sweet and syrupy and cloying, inducing a headache. This one is sweet and fruity but still light enough to suit myself. Love it.

lsilknetter

Similar to YSL Libre on my skin. This is sweet but sophisticated, cozy but sexy. Ultra feminine and youthful without smelling cheap or boring. The red berries in the opening are bright and juicy with just a bit of zesty bergamot that keeps it from being sticky-sweet. After about a half hour, the red berries fade into warm jammy peach. I'm not usually that into sweet fruity scents, but the prominent notes are white florals. The fruits are balanced nicely with slightly spicy and earthy base notes. After a few hours on my skin, it has more of a yummy gourmand drydown than the dried-fruit smell that sometimes comes with fruity fragrances.

I really don't usually enjoy sweet fruity scents like this. I'm probably going to pick up a bottle because the performance is good and the price is right.

Sassafras23

Different sources give different note breakdowns, and the official website is not helpful. But tolu balsam, peach and benzoin are not mentioned anywhere but here.

spellbook.soaps

Tootsie Roll-ish… like those fruit candies wrapped similarly to Tootsie Rolls that are really chewy… the ones I hoped I did not get while trick-or-treating. This is so vile to me. I thought I could not go wrong with an MFK collaboration because I love the My Burberry line but I am so glad I just ordered a small sample. No way. Ew.

ssamhita

By the time my 30ml bottle of Elie Saab Le Parfum in White came to me, it had already turned a beautiful amber hue. “It’s sealed but old”, the seller had told me. “That’s perfect” I’d thought to myself. And it was! It is a perfect scent.

I took my time with orange blossom, but once I got hooked to the hypnotic orange blossom and whipped cream in JPG Classique Essence, there was no turning back. Le Parfum in White, maybe because it doesn’t have the aldehydes of Classique Essence, is warm from the get go. It is a voluptuous fragrance in the sense that it embraces you. The berries and the peach definitely do a good job of sweetening it up - just right. And maybe because of the patchouli, but I get a Chanel-esque feel from it. Like a warmer, sweeter Coco Mademoiselle. No they are not even similar, but I get that same vibe when I wear it - regal, elegant. Like someone who would know how to conduct themselves at a proper tea. The mistress of etiquette. The ever smiling hostess.

emilia123

One word that would describe this scent would definitely be “pretty”- it’s light, slightly warm, slightly sweet, and just overall really well-blended. I’m always scared of white florals because there’s a 50% chance they are either too mature or too screechy- but this scent seems perfect for someone like me who is younger and a lover of softer scents

kat_clarkson_

I loved it until my boyfriend told me it smells like beer and absolutely ruined it for me.

Elie Saab's wedding dresses are legendary so it was time he celebrated white interpreted in a fragrance. The perfect perfume for special occasions and memorable moments.
White is a color that has no time, because it is used in summer for the freshness it represents but also in winter for its rigidity and firmness. A radiant symphony of white flowers in the opening merges in the heart with the modern notes of fruits reds, leaving room for a background of vanilla and white musks, ethereal like a veil of chiffon. Le Parfum In White is like a ''perfumed robe'' so candid that the petals that adorn it seem to float on a woman's skin, transported by a whirlwind of flowers.

sandra_101

Pretty / feminine / modern white floral with some sweet, bubblegummy jasmine throughout and those ubiquitous superamber molecules at the base (could be cetalox or norlimbanol, if that's helpful for you). If you have a gap in your fragrance wardrobe for when you need to signal 'basic in a good way' (like maybe for in-law duty), this might be the scent to fill it.

VictoriaSmells

this is my new favorite!

i never really knew how i felt about orange blossom- but if what everyone is saying is true; that this is an orange blossom bomb- then i'm in love!

this is very sweet but i dont find it heavy or cloying like a syrupy gourmand.
it starts off bright and fresh and citrusy (i noticed Elie Saab does citrus particularly well. i usually dont like citrus) but then the vanilla comes through pretty quickly and i'm reminded of some kind of cookie. Like a vanilla wafer or lady finger soaked in a liqueur. or an Italian biscotti with that little hint of orange zest in the mix.

this is definitely a happy, spring time fragrance, but i also LOVE wearing it on the colder, rainy spring days as a warm cozy pick me up. i think this is suitable for all weather and occasions.

Elie Saab Le Perfume In White Edp:

🗣Elie Saab, Usually Really Does Orange Blossom So Well In His Perfumes. But Oh Gosh, The Orange Blossom In This One, Is Chokingly Strong, And The Fragrance Itself Is Extremely Overly Candy Sweet!! Way"Way To Sweet For My Liking Tbh!! (A Headache In A Bottle, And Quite As Cloying As "GIRL OF NOW"!! Which I Also Dislike/Way"Way To Sugary Sweet) I Actually Much Prefere The Original "Le Perfume" And The "Le Perfume Royal" To This One!!
Im Sorry, It's Just Deffo Not For Me!!!

albatros

In dry down, it's Coco Mademoiselle, just a little sweeter.

Mags322

I’m undecided. Do I buy Elie Saab le Parfum or Elie Saab in white. Which one is stronger? Would appreciate some help please. Many thanks.

liia97

this reminds me of libre without the lavender, i love libre so i love this too smells clean but has depth to it

Galdie

I keep on trying to like it, but i just can not. This scent doesn't work for me. There is something very harsh and intrusive in it. Not sophisticatedly, but ostentatiously feminine.

AuthenticAF

I have a little min tester bottle of this and i wore it before and knew i loved it, i forgot just how much i loved it. I layered it today with chloe roses which i have the travel size rollerball of chloe roses. I LOVE this combo, it is fantastic! I think i need a fb of both so i can recreate this incredible combination again! Im wondering if the og ellie saab and chloe roses would also smell good together? 🤔 i bet it would. If you used a nice scented lotion under it (not sure which one?) i think it would be even more amazing

Kuty22

I blind bought this beauty, because I wanted to see(smell) what JdM and FK achieved together
- I like the scent but it was so familiar, then I remembered I own Zara's - Vibrant Leather for Her - I can't even believe how similar these are, I'm so glad that I've purchased the 30ml
Fruity without being too sweet, all-year-round scent that would definitely shine on Spring

Emera1d

Very strong orange blossom scent. Smells candy sweet, almost too sweet, a bit artificial and a bit obnoxious. Brilliant longevity and sillage though, just not for me.

Fleurie20

I got hyper and blind bought 17 fragrances... idk if that has anything to do with this smelling very "generic highend" to me. Definitely a cold weather scent. I find it heady, on me the patchouli and amber overshadow any other notes, and thus, not a white flower scent.

Dracaena

I bought it while on vacation in Spain, and it smelled similar to the original Elie Saab Le Parfum but a bit sweeter. Essentially lots of white florals with orange blossom dominating with some sweet base (vanilla?). But after returning home to the nordics I don't know if it is the lower humidity and temperature or my home water but Le Parfum in White smells almost as sweet and cloying as Girl of Now which I cannot stand. I am still the same person using the same shower products and only two weeks later. It is amazing how much a perfume can change between people or weathers. For me this perfume can be a pretty milder version of the EdP (romantic white floral with some sweeter base) but short life, or a cookie smell like GoN that lasts for the whole day. Be warned.

sunnydays

This is such a pretty fragrance. I blind bought this and I'm so happy I did. It's not overpowering at all. It's a beautifully subtle fruity floral. I have many fragrances similar to this, but this is a very toned down scent that still has a great projection but it's light at the same time. Very easy to wear, a perfect gift option for pretty much anyone. I might buy this one for my mother too, as we both have L'interdit which we love.

electric_evelyn

Honestly, this is one of the very few I just didn’t like.
I gave it several chances but came to the same conclusion: it smells like a car scent.
It’s too soapy and towards the end of it’s scent life, it just gets worse.

betsyglez8

Favorite jazmine scent , reminds me of these bear soap bars that where made of jasmine , Yeah very nice fragrance , similar to l’interdit and you Armani . Kind of ,,
Sweet white floral ,

lynnphi

Geez, I rechecked the name on my sample vial to make sure I had indeed sprayed on Elie Saab Le Parfum in White. My experience with this fragrance is nothing like the other reviews. Not even close. On paper, I smelled a warm, sweet floral bouquet so I was excited to spritz. Upon application, I was hit with a vivid olfactory memory - the soap my father used to use, his beloved Irish Spring. I checked the notes in Irish Spring and I can't figure out what is triggering this for me. This was a scrubber after only 20 minutes - and even after scrubbing twice, I can still smell it. And the prominent note has finally emerged - cedar! I'm going to scrub one more time because unfortunately I need to get rid of this and apply something more pleasant over it.

Scentflower

Wow is this a nice perfume!! Le Parfum Intense is one of my favorite perfumes. The original Le Parfum I actually didn't care for, to floral. But in white is beautiful! It shares the deep honey note that the Intense version have. The honey note isn't as sweet as in Scandal, but it gives it such richness. The Le Parfum in white differs by adding a fruit note. I get peach, honey and a floral note in the background. I smell the Jasmine more than the orange blossom. But it's absolutely gorgeous and glad I have it.

EDIT: negative about this beautiful perfume is by a few hours it was already a skin scent.

Izzyabutt

This perfume ROCKS! I recently wore this to a outdoor wedding when it was 90 degrees hot and humid, and it performed great. It smelled great, whenever there was a breeze it blew across me and my husband could smell it and he said it smelled so good. This perfume is one of my favorites, its perfect for any occasions and any age. I just love Elie Saab perfumes, they are never too overbearing. They are classy and never sickly sweet. The difference between the Le Parfum and Le Parfum in White is the Peach and the other fruits in Le Parfum in White. Both fragrances are beautiful but Le Parfum in White is more fruity. If you can only get one I would suggest Le Parfum in White.

stephdray

I really like it. It was sweet and feminine and amazing. But it is also fleeting. It didn’t last.

Izzyabutt

I was very surprised at this perfume, it’s so beautiful. I use the mini and it has a dabber which allows me to use it with control. It’s sweet but is beautiful and classy at the same time. I can’t stop smelling my wrist. My husband says there is a whiff of candy but it smell very good. The dry down is calming and beautiful. I hesitated on wearing this because of some of reviews. I am finding it really depends on how much you wear. I am a light wearer of perfumes, so my husband and I are really the only ones who smell my perfumes when I wear them. Some people say this is sickly sweet. Maybe they wore too much??? This perfume is lightly sweet, and the white musk, white amber and vanilla that mixes so well is what left after the dry down, with a light hint of peach. I love this perfume at first wear.

Liene

Rhubarb-esque tartness in the opening transforming bright orange blossom to more fruity side, some mandarin orange, some touch of jasmine. Almost fuzzy and smoky drydown (I would guess tonka bean, but could be variation of a resin) with white floral and fruitiness presence.
It sits on the skin as cassis and musk, which I am not crazy about. Nice scent trail (medium projection), however linear after first 30 minutes or so; staying power up to 9 hours. The best for transitional weather, but versatile enough for whichever needs.
I wouldn’t call it generic or a blind trend follower, but it somehow feels almost cliché.

Princessy

Such a CLASSIC and CLASSY fragrance ! I think it's a safe blind bind for sure. Not my favorite perfume at all but still very likeable.

I'll wear this one at the office, as for me it's a pretty inoffensive/light perfume yet beautiful.

In comparison to the original one, it's much more lighter and less sweet imo.

Mary.am1

Ellie saab just outdone himself by making this perfume.. stunning!!!
I purchased this recently and instantly fell in love with it that it’s now my signature perfume 🥰

Filled with sweet , syrupy , orange blossom , citrusy delicious notes 😋 ❤️ (Reminds me of orange marmalade 🍊 )
Base notes are filled with vanilla goodness which I adore .
I was surprised it contains bergamot note .. I usually cannot stand this note but I cannot smell it at all in here

*Suitable for mature sophisticated women (25-35) , Fall/spring daytime- not so much for the summer .

Longevity almost 12 hours .. I got many compliments wearing it so the Sillage is very good compared to the price just Wow!!❤️❤️

Murmur123123

I really like the Le Parfum (and the Lumiere version as well) and hesitated about getting In White, as I generally prefer floral scents over fruity scents, and if the fruity scents dominate the whole perfume I tend not to wear it much (such as Dior Jadore and Armani Si). I am happy to say that In White is not overly fruity - the opening is a really pleasant peach scent that is not too chemical, then after 15min, In White to me stays as a prominent orange blossom + jasmine scent, with a smooth amber base. Compared to the original Le Parfum, In White feels gentler and smoother in personality, whereas the original Le Parfum is bolder, sharper and sweeter.

Entle29

My man likes this one. We bought it because he likes it. For me, it’s pretty and an easy reach.

laceylovesperfume

Ok.. I got this in a tester kit I ordered off Mercari. I reached for it last because I had the least interest in it. Oh my.. this is my favorite and I'm purchasing a full bottle. This is such a beautifully unexpected scent. There is a bit of citrus zest in the opening which I usually don't go for, but this is a soft freshness surrounded by white flowers, jasmine, with a well blended patchouli in the background. It's GORGEOUS. I also get a big of the orange blossom and vanilla on the dry down. Far surpassed my expectations. Not sure why I never looked into this. Likely because "Girl of Now" and its flankers are so heavily praised on social media, this one is heavily overlooked. I typically stray away from patchouli fragrances, and while I do smell it in this, there is something so... girly and soft about this. I could see this being worn by a bride or just a woman who is incredibly confident and self assured. You have to smell it to understand it. LOVE!

KevinTheCarrot

This is a really lovely perfume. A complete blind buy, but I do tend to like the Elie Saab perfume range. It was love at first sniff!

I get the slight amber, with jasmine and orange blossom. It's not particularly fruity to my nose, but it is very well blended. It's a very feminine, 'girl power' perfume. Suitable for any time of the year, day or night. It was definitely my scent of last summer (2021).

TexasOrangeBlossom

Patchouli is a note that I’ve had to learn to appreciate. It took me a few decades, but I finally got there! This is a beautiful fragrance that I feel is good year round. I have even worn it in high Texas heat, and it works as long as I spray lightly. It gives a nice scent bubble and trail. Longevity is 6-8 hours. This feels feminine and grown up, not girly and youthful. Also, this wasn’t an instant love. Give it a chance.

Fragrancewonder

I get sweet orange blossom, very pretty. Appropriate for all seasons daytime fragrance. Longevity I would say is around 7 hrs and provides a really good scent trail for the first few hrs before it settles into your scent bubble.

Pleasant and unoffensive but not unique.

Edit: moderate sillage for about 2 hours before turning into a skin scent, good layering scent.

KatrinaKC

Way too sweet for me, find it quite sickly actually.

aldinatic

I love this..its so feminine, elegant, sweet, playful, love it !

perfumequeen5

This was love at first smell, I didn't even try to decipher the notes because the way they were curated made perfect sense and nothing felt out of place. I'm beginning to realise that amber and white florals are the absolute loves of my life especially when Alien is my signature. Even though patchouli is listed which I hate, it's almost undetectable.

I sprayed this in class and someone immediately says "someone smells like the hello kitty spray", you know the one that every girl used in high school and smells like grape? The projection must be godly because this person was standing 5 metres away from me. I only have a tester vial but I will definitely treat myself to a full sized bottle when I finish my studies for the year.

sthgood_sthfun

This is a very high performance traditional designer frag, a very likeable sweet floral fruity scent.
The longevity and sillage are very good, just 1 spray on my knees for testing, it lasts almost 10 hrs, and I can smell it very clearly when everytime I'm sitting down.

I think it's a safe blind buy, if you like some delightful girly in a fancy way type of scent.
Unfortunately I'm not a fan of this frags, I preferred green floral and woody scent more.

But I will keep it anyway, it reminds me of the fragranced beans which use for put in the stationary container to makes everything smell good when I was a kid, it brings back so many fun memories that I forgot.

Efragrantica

Love, love, love Elie Saab In White. I currently wear this fragrance almost everyday as its perfect for spring. Actually I think it is suited for all seasons. It's not too heavy or not too light It's pretty much 'perfect' or as my husband would say 'babe, you smell delicious' haha. I can really smell the gorgeous white musk after it settles on my skin, this fragance really is HEAVENLY BEAUTIFUL! 💖

Edit: I honestly think I get the most compliments wearing this fragrance. It's divine (and apparently suits me very much 😆)

Szilvita

This seems like such a pleasant and promising scent at the beginning, but there is something that triggers my nose in the base. I wonder what it is. But my guess is the tolu balsam or benzoin?

Update: I haven't given up on this perfume yet as I really like the opening. It is winter here now and we are at freezing point. I've been wearing it for a couple of days without getting that weird smell that bothered me last time. I even wore it for training and I was asked what perfume I was wearing because I smelled so good (yay!)I guees this works the best for me in Winter!

Very longlasting and seems to project very well even when used sparingly.

perfume_angel

Such a classy and timeless scent. It is a sweet, elegant and soapy floral and makes me feel so elegant and put together whenever I spray it. Nothing too out of the ordinary but still a beautiful clean scent.

KrisMis

Hey mariya_26 since you like Libre by Ysl I think this could be a safe blind buy, but maybe try finding a little tester if you can and buy it before buying a whole bottle of In White.
I love both Libre and In white yet they are not completely identical, they just share some sort of warmth and honey note that makes them similar.
Good luck🙋♀️🤗

mariya_26

Hey everyone, wanted to come on here and ask if this is the kind of perfume I should splurge on as a blind purchase. I am trying to grow my collection but perfumes in my local currency are crazy expensive so I don't get to try as many perfumes as I would like to. I would be glad if someone could help.
I usually don't go for overly sweet or overly floral perfumes. I like a slightly sweet, slightly cozier/darker dry down for the winter time. For the summer I like to smell clean and fresh instead of sickly sweet.
The perfumes that I have enjoyed in the past are Chanel Chance, Marc Jacobs Daisy, Mircle by Lancome.
The ones I will be buying at some point in the future (based on the testers that I have tried) are By the fireplace, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, YSL Libre, and La vie est belle.
Thanks!

lechickpea

What a pretty little gem of a scent this is!! I just love it. This creates a very bright, optimistic, friendly aura around the wearer. It has the same soapy white floral accord that runs through most of the Elie Saab Le Parfum line, but in this fragrance it's blended into a fruity burst in the opening, and a warm, slightly spicy, amber base. (Does anyone else smell a peppery note here?) Don't hear "spicy amber" and think of a deep, heavy scent the way some amber perfumes tend to be - this has enough lightness to be worn year round in any season or for any occasion.

A very pretty, clean, and elegant scent with the perfect level of mature sweetness. Very feminine, but without much sex appeal.

EDIT: It smells better in the summer heat! Try it yourself!

Natalia91

I love this perfume! Sweet but not too much, feminine and fruty. I am so happy I purchased this fragrance as it makes me smile. It has the original Le Parfum DNA, however, it is something more. I am not too sure if it is a bridal perfume.
I can wear Le Parfum during the day and top it up with In White for a night out and the combination is amazing.
I still can't decide whice one I prefer but I will always have the both fragrances in my collection.

Nora Gad

It's so beautiful and elegant i really enjoyed this fragrance so bridal and classy floral scent

Discokitty77

I don’t know, all I’m getting is Avon Skin So Soft. It’s nice, but I prefer the original Elie Saab Le Parfum.

noragadfabricdesigns

Beautiful , Chic , Elegant ,,,Very feminine,,,Worth to blind buying 100%

Mamaterer

This smells like armani in love with you.. So weird because i dont see patchoulli in the notes but it definitely has that hint of earthiness in this. Not white floral-ish like the og le parfum. This is more on the fruity side.

alsa7

It started floral, then it takes a gourmand turn, sweet.
I can't put my finger on it, but it evokes to me some exotic sweets.
Overall, is pleasant.

smellsbells

smells like libre intense a bit but not as smooth maybe. Its a meh

SailorV

I would have called this "In Red", not "In White". I get lots of red berries, sweet and sour, especially in the opening. I was actually surprised how fruity and sugary this is when I tried it for the first time. The white florals in this smell more grapey than in the original Le Parfum. Nothing about this feels especially "white" or bridal to me.
The drydown is more floral than the opening and showcases a sharp, clean patchouli that cuts through the sweetness. Orange blossom is the main note, like it is in Le Parfum EDP, but the jasmine in this is softer and blended with amber.

I would summarize this scent as fizzy homemade red berry soda and candied orange blossoms on a bed of patch. It's definitely one of those perfumes that become better and better the longer you wear them, but all in all I'm not blown away. This is nice enough, but I find the original Le Parfum more elegant and more suitable as a wedding scent, even though that one is a little moody on my skin and is therefore not for me either. Le Parfum In White could be perfect if you're looking for a fruitier version of it.

flyergirl❤️perfumes

If I’m going to marry one day ,this perfume will be my wedding scent 🤍🤍🤍
or otherwise In White might be my ultimate signature scent for the rest of my life!

fragem

This is so soapy and a flop compared to the original. The initial spray is beautiful, but once it dries down it straight up smells like citrus Softsoap. Not sure what kind of brides want to smell like citrus Softsoap on their wedding day.

lavender_wind.

Interesting note from sun-dried jasmine and white amber, like an off-white veil.

Pretty, but I like the original Elie Saab Le Parfum more. The original is sweeter, sheerer and more feminine in my opinion. Nevertheless In White is still a pretty perfume albeit it feels a bit more opaque.

temo

All I can say is “Thank you Elie Saab!
One of the best! Day or night, summer or winter, casual or fancy, young or mature, it doesn’t matter. It just works.
The gardenia in the original put me off so I find this update to be perfection.

reni 5

Just great

jolla

I adore this scent! Was hooked first time I put on this fragrance so It ended up being my signature. This is everything I’ve wanted from a signature, sweet but not too sweet, strong but not too strong, not offensive but still interesting. This is a musky white floral with orange blossom and Jasmine most prominent. To my nose both these notes are equaly prominent. The red berries are there to give this a fruity sweetness and the amber and tolu balsam give It a warm base for the white florals to dance on. Very well blended, classy but yet casual! I love the whole le parfum line, but this along with parfum royal is at the top!

bel.gravia

Similar to Oriflame Giordani Gold Original, but sweeter and fruitier.
This is a white floral, orange blossom dominated lightly fruity vanilla with patchouli musky base.
I blind bought it as it was dirty cheap (20 pounds for 50ml) and I have no regrets!
I think this one is a grower. It really takes time to reveal itself on the skin.

ayken

Okay, this is one of the best sweet strong fragrances out there for sure. it is just a very likeable scent that you don't really have anything against it. Absolutely delicious and a perfect perfume for those who need or want something sensual and girly in their collection yet it isn't in your face disgusting bubblegum type of one. anyway the projection is soso can be better but i do think it will last longer on the skin than on the paper
to note, this is reallly floral almost a mature type of floral yet very much desiring on a wearer.
bottles a gorge ans so classy, i would get it just because of the way it would stand out in my collection

Cmed

I came to this hoping for the original with less honey. This isn't that. Pull back the musc, lose the peach and bring forward the orange blossom then it would be for me.

Objective description... No dominant notes. Just a blended, sweet (non-gourmand), musc.

churinl

I can not wear red berries. 1.6 oz bottle, a bit more than half full up for swap. PM me if interested.

flyergirl❤️perfumes

This is gifted me by my elder sister. In first 5 minutes felt confused about what was it...Then it turned into a magical orange blossom based white floral scent.I’m so thankful for my sister that she’s decided to give away to me.💕In my opinion this is for whom has an elegant, sophisticated style or wants to smell like that...btw packaging and performance is fantastic!

perfumeaddict97

Wow! Amazing fragrance! It smells really classy, sophisticated, and I can't fault anything about it.
Beautiful floral that's also sweet without being too sweet. I smell flowers with a bit of nectarine/peach, as well as honey. All notes are perfectly blended together.
Has an element in it which reminds me of the original La Parfum, which honestly to me, I could not see myself liking, but this (which is not too similar) - I love!
Timeless and elegant perfume - perfect for a bride on her wedding day, although it's good to be worn every day.
Amazing sillage and longevity. Very strong yet inoffensive and pleasant to wear and to smell on others.
A must have in my collection!

Danai

Like someone already, very accurately, pointed out, this fragrance is basically Piz Buin sunscreen in the form of EDP. If you are familiar with that very distinct, particular scent, you can even blind buy this fragrance because you already know what it smells like. Personally, I discovered Piz Buin about fifteen years ago, as soon as I had my own money to spend on beauty products, and the scent won me over in an instant. I've used other brands here and there, but I've kept going back to that one consistently. Therefore, I can only smell one note in this scent and that is, you guessed it, Piz Buin, with some patchouli in the dry down.

Besides all that, it is still a beautiful, cheerful, romantic summer in a bottle perfume. I would prefer this for summer evenings, but I think it can work for any time and occasion as well. It's also important to note that the first time I tried it, I received a compliment by a strange woman sitting next to me on the bus, on my way home. Also, it's one of the few perfumes that my significant other has noticed and complimented me on. It's a crowd pleasing, likable and elegant scent. It's all about orange blossom, with a vaguely exotic, creamy, coconut-but-not-quite background.

frag girl

One of the classiest scents I own! This has been one of my favorite scents since it launched and I used to spray this 25/8 when I worked in a fragrance store. It smells expensive in a discrete and non obnoxious kind of way. I also think it performs better on certain people's body chemistry and pheromones and will warm up accordingly. I therefore don't see it as a blind buy as it has the potential to turn sour on certain people. On me, I find it to be uplifting which brings me to a happy place because it is very reminiscent of the beach and good times. Sillage is great and extends well beyond arm's length. Works equally well in cool and warm weather since it has an underlying clean note. Overall, this fragrance is very unique and sparkles in its own way on the right person

ky4r4

This perfume is rare and gorgeous like a white pearl. Let's start from the fact that you will enjoy two entirely different perfumes if you use it in cold vs. warm months. When I purchased this scent, it was relatively cold (below 10 C) and I could clearly pick up the berry note in head while citrus fruits were there but playing a non protagonist role. The berry note gives a playful, unique character that makes this perfume unmistakable with others. Now that is summer I can't detect the berry at all while I get a lot of refreshing, juicy citrus fruits. I prefer in its winter side although I may say that getting more citrus fruits makes is much suited for summer. The heart with white flowers is constant over temperatures and give the perfume a very feminine, classy touch. Finally, in the end I get a lot of clean, innocent musk sweetened by the other notes. To me this perfume is a masterpiece. It is an unique scent although done with "classic", maybe even common, notes. An excellent example on how creating something original by starting from well known ingredients. I love it. The duration is quite good considering that is a "fresh and clean" scent, 6-8 hours on skin and days on clothes and the sillage is moderate. This is am entirely different scent from the original La parfum. It seems addressed as bridal perfume although I can say it is very wearable and can make an excellent every day scent. Plus I see the classical version much more elegant than this and more appropriate for weddings and/or formal events. To me this is a fresh, clean, unique in its simplicity, femminine, very versatile scent that I am so happy to have in my collection.

RachelSeun

A very sweet and sour orange blossom fragrance and very potent too! Lasts all day! A stand out flanker to the orginal, even when I try to layer it with other fragrances it’s so potent it overshadows the rest!!!

sevde.kasa

This flanker is much much better imo.
It's totally a bridal scent :) with lots of gorgeous white florals in company with honey, to my nose...
And yesss, it has a superb sillage and longevity.
JUST LOVE IT!
TOTALLY RECOMMEND :)

harikaevre

One of the best perfumes out there. It has the same Elie Saab DNA like other flankers which comes from orange flower, I guess.
Somehow In White is more innocent and youthful. It can be worn by a lady in her 20s till 50s.Go try and fall in love with this beauty!

agate.ne

I have both the original and this flanker. They smell superb. I like the original because of it's satine sweetness, this one though, is a chiffon.

Good sillage, love it. Day and night kind of scent. This is the scent of spring or winter. Because florals (green woodsy for summer, and spicy oriental for fall).

Less honey-like compared to the original, and certainly less glamour. It is more mature though. It has a business-like feel in it. Elie Saab has the edge on longetivity and I feel that with this one too. It builds, and gets more intoxicating after (It's real damn fine scent!).

I don't know whether I like Elie Saab or just the nose. Maybe I'll try another frag from Elie Saab house to decide. But if they're just as pleasant as this one then I am just sold.

Update: the more I smell it the more I can't get enough of it? My people believe that spirits like the scent of benzoin and I can't blame them because it smells so damn good. Benzoin everyone, has gone up to my favorite note by this fragrance. Just saying.

lyla246

I enjoy Le parfum in White enourmously!
Addictive and luminous is an exactly right description. I love it!!

Freckleface

Suntan lotion in a bottle! :)

AlexandraTroush

When I by chance sniffed this at the store a few months ago, I was hit with countless memories from my childhood and images of my mother, twenty years younger, wild, carefree, independent. This smells almost exactly like the perfume she used to wear back then.

Yesterday I got myself a small 10ml decant and I couldn't be happier. I will FOR SURE buy the 90ml bottle when I run out of this small cutie.

Now on to the perfume itself: it smells absolutely gorgeous. I can't see how anyone would ever dislike this. Soft, fresh flowers, sweet and gentle amber, a hint of berries.
This is a young adult kind of fragrance. Not playful enough for a teen, not collected enough for an older, more sophisticated woman. I would say that this is perfect for women aged 20-35 who like to keep it elegant but also not too unnoticed. Just like my mother when she was 27-28, a strong single mother who adores her child and will do anything for her.
I am going to call her now and tell her I love her.

PerfumeForLainy

I enjoy Le parfum in White enourmously!
Addictive and luminous is an exactly right description.

I have only recently met this one at the store and took the spritzed card with me. By the end of the day I knew that I had to have the largest available bottle and ordered it right away. In the meanwhile the card was laying on the table, tantalizing me with the scent for three days.

The perfume itself is bliss in a bottle: rounded, coconutty with a hint of ananas, slightly fizzy. That is how a freshly flowered jasmin bush smells in the sunny but mildly warm day. I can never just walk past it, I have to bury my face in the flowers and stay for a minute or two.

In White gives a lux skincare vibe for a relaxing holiday stay any time of the year. You can tell that it is related to Girl of Now, original with the blue petals, but has a different kind of beauty. I am very glad to have both.

SalinasL

This is one of the rare perfumes that I feel smells the way it’s “intended” to smell on me. I don’t love it, but it’s pleasant enough when I’m in the right mood. It’s very strong and longevity is incredible. I still smell it clearly, exactly as it smelled yesterday, 16+ hours after spraying. Patchouli and white florals are very hit and miss for me, but this is a good introduction to both. It’s modern and mature, sophisticated, clean but with enough earthiness and warmth. I find it similar to Woman by Ralph Lauren but with the balance and depth I found lacking in that one. I was on the fence about getting a full bottle but might have just talked myself into it.

genny17

You know we get all obsessed with new releases and we forget the pretty perfumes that came out a while back ..!I am rediscovering that warm floral, smooth, a tad sweet, but naturally sweet..not a gourmand bomb..with a fresh undertone..very stylish, feminine..as it gets colder here it suits perfectly the fall season..I dont like big florals but I enjoy a warm one..Elie Saab doesnt miss really..she is clear about one thing, feminine perfumes smell like a pretty woman..

parnpipit

It's balanced out between sweet and sour so well that makes it very easy to wear for all year round. Good performance on my severe dry skin.

NanAxlRose

I don't like this. It's very unoriginal. It smells like so many other fragrances, but not in a good way. It's way too sharp, synthetic and sweet. I like sweet fragrances if they smell more natural than synthetic. But this is so synthetic. Not for me.

Siv7Stars

There is something very honeyed about this, it's like a softer modern version of Jill Sander No.24. Orange blossom, jasmine n amber come through strongest, vanilla underneath but really nothing stands out unless you look hard for it, well blended, sophisticated, obvious choice for a wedding perfume (in white, orange blossom, Elie Saab make wedding dresses..)but it speaks of summer evenings generally.

churinl

Oh no!! I accidentally purchased this, thinking it was the original Le Parfum. On first sniff, I am very disappointed. This is very much about berries and patch on my skin and comes across quite astringent. I was hoping for a soft, white jasmine based upon the recent Best in Show piece on my favorite floral naming Le Secret as an honorable mention. I can only hope that the white floral aspect comes forward the longer I wear it, so that I can at least like it. This calls to mind Armani Si on my skin - not a dupe, but familiar. I never cared for Si but have received compliments from others when I wore it, so I won't give up on this one, but now I need to get the original, and feel less secure purchasing it blindly. We shall see.
_________
Several hours later, and I have found myself enjoying this more than I thought I would after the initial shock of the opening. I am going to revisit this several times to see if it grows on me, but I think I can safely say that this is falling into Like territory. Still want to try the original though!!

Perfumedsecrets

Upon spraying you get a burst of the fresh mandarin and blackcurrant. It's juicy! Not too sweet, but very fruity. It moves into the heart with orange blossom and jasmine. The base of the original Le Parfum, but a new perfume altogether. I can almost smell a honeysuckle vibe, and I suppose that's where people smell Burberry London in it. I don't detect any woods or patchouli in the dry down. This is softer in that way. The white musk is soft and feminine. This is one pleasant perfume! In White is the official bridal perfume for Elie Saab, but I still think the original Le Parfum takes the cake and says "I'm the bride."

Top Notes: Mandarin & Blackcurrant Bud
Heart notes: Jasmine & Orange Blossom
Base Notes: White Musk & Patchouli

CupK

Mehh this one made my suspicions about orange blossom become true I do not like this note when it is to present.

I have not tested the original Elie Saab but I don't think I have to because that one is also big on the orange blossom.

Albiretu

This doesn't smell like white florals at all to me, in fact, the name (once again, Elie Saab!) is quite misleading, as this smells a lot like red berries. This is an explosion of red berries, actually, I don't detect the white florals at all. Similar to Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Intense. Nice, but not for me.

Venusta

Elie Saab's perfumes are amazing and graceful. I have enjoyed smelling each one I can get my hands on, but this one really blew me out of the water!

A fruity elegance that's absolutely addicting. The red berries dance with the jasmine and orange blossom wonderfully. Very uplifting. Youthful. Playful, sparkling. Long lasting.

Anyone who loves white florals but also loves fruity fragrances will fall in love with this!

nuzzzzie

The more I smell this perfume, the more I fall in love.

For me this symbolises Spring - fresh, fragrant blooms - slightly heady and sweet. I feel as though I am in a conservatory of flowers.

The orange blossom dominates this perfume for me - but pleasantly so. The combination of jasmine added in is beautiful.

It is intoxicating and suits the sun - I recommend wearing this midday when walking out in the Spring sunshine.

wkingsmith

For me, Elie Saab in White starts out similar to the original, but then seems to get more fruity sweet and has a Roberto Cavalli vibe - more sweet fruity flower that reminds me of "old, well-dressed ladies" :) and this one also lasts a long time.

Shubhajha

I'm in India and got this online from Nykaa after reading the reviews here. Since the reading was good, ordered without trying. It is just too over-the-top for me and agree it's headache inducing. It is long lasting but sickening to me and reminds me of Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming (a much more intense version). Certainly not my type...

dahrling

Beautiful and ethereal. It does remind me of Classique Intense, but I prefer this one. It's more suitable for warmer days, and there's something about it that makes it smell "purer" than CI. It's the angelic version of it. Love it - perfectly feminine and bridal. Best used during spring and summer nights in my opinion, especially when on a date or around your loved ones. Long-lasting but with moderate projection (on my skin). This is unlikely to offend or overwhelm anyone - it's lovely.

lolamendes

I´m just SO in love with this fragrance. I would like to beg Mr. Elie Saab not to discontinue this beauty, cause I think I finally found my signature. It´s just perfect. Best fragrance ever. I really really really hope they don´t stop making this wonder, cause I would be very disappointed.

mellymel10

My heavens what a gorgeous orange blossom fragrance. I adore orange blossom and this is done so nicely. I can't wait to put this in rotation as soon as the weather starts to warm up. Love it!
edit: I wore this the other day and wow, Great longevity! 12+ hours. And several compliments! :)

dglightblue

elie saab in white
summer test, cooler day, on tester card

thoughts: an easy like. it has a base (is it the base?) of the le parfum, with a floral top. white floral perfumey top. im not able to diferenciate its this or that, but a good perfumy smell - not say; garden, or this flower or that..
lasting well on the tester card

On the day: perfumey floral fluffy (not light), has a richness, easy to wear, elie saab edp DNA, not tart though, no zap, gentle/nutty gentle.. sweet florals

I got a whiff of the nozzle for girl of now (i think it is) and felt nutty was appropriate for that one.

PricklyAndHot

Orange blossom fragrance. Only it's very light. I would prefer the original.

SaraX

The most dominant note I (quite surprisingly) get from this one is very sweet and fresh pear. Along come the other fruits, jasmine and a hint of patchouli. The drydown is very sweet pear syrup with a touch of vanilla.

I do think this is a very sweet scent and I can easily understand why some might see this as overly sweet. I don't usually like fruit syrupy scents either.

But since I somehow manage to find a very clear fresh pear note in this one, which for me in it's uniqueness justifies all the sweetness and at the same time makes the sweetness so fresh and fruity, I have to say I really like this. Pure joy in a bottle.

I like this better than the original Le Parfum, since this one does not take itself so seriuosly and is so much more playful and flirty.

My "sweet and fresh pear note" just might be white florals mixed with the red fruits (mentioned in the description, pear not being exactly a red fruit..) and vanilla, who knows, but since it almost screams pear to me, I will maintain my view. I just wonder if anyone else gets any pear notes from this one?

Laura PA-C

BEAUTIFUL! What a way to do a flanker. Now on the list of my favorite scents of all time. Another on my list is Kelly Caleche by Hermes. If you like the original, try it, you won’t regret it.

iamoir

Let's begin with the basic information about Elie Saab in White: it has decent projection and it lasts very well on skin. Of course it fits the Elie Saab line perfectly as a flanker. I'm not sure though that it could replace the initial wedding perfume , but on the other hand, I bet a good amount of brides worldwide would love to wear a sweet fruity floral on their wedding day.

The opening is too fruity, too sweet, too much raspberry- berry- idc what red fruit is that..., I wasn't expecting so much of a red fruit blast in the opening, or in the perfume at all. It is a lot close to Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. Too too sweet and not in the best way possible.

Giving it some time to develop you'll start smelling a good woodsy medicinal backing of patchouli. By now it's a woodsy-fruity scent along the lines of Tresor Midnight Rose. It's not bad at all, it's just not what I was expecting looking at the bottle.

After an hour or so there is a sweet powdery orange blossom just like the one I get from Classique, accompanied by some jasmine. The white floral headiness is emerging. Beautiful sweet fruity white floral rendition for brides who seek a sweeter, more contemporary white floral bridal perfume. Better and more easily worn in the colder weather and all - time appropriate. More fruity floral than chypre fruity.

LadyIva

I have no idea why this Elie Saab collection doesn’t work for me at all. On paper, the notes look good; however, on my skin this explodes into an artificial sweet-fruity scent of chewing gums, or gummy bears, or tic-tac, and such. It’s like one of those Malizia BonBons scents for kids. As the scent develops I begin to get whiffs of orange blossom and patchouli; alas, I can’t get past that horrible opening.

bruby

Patchouli and linden tea. That is all I smell in this one. And a kind of sickly sweet. Not one for me. Got it as a sample when I bought another perfume in one of the big department stores.

macadamia.1

Very, very nice white flowers parfum. In the beginning it is so womanity,so delisious. It remind me the end of the summer, when the whether is not so hot,but very pleasant. It is a little yammy parfum, but not like Scandal/JPG/,it is like milky ice-cream with red berries jam on it.

cottoncandyanddaydreams

Tested this one in my local perfume counter. Same orange blossom and honey where the Le Parfum's DNA lies yet oh so feminine, sweet and light. Closest one for me is the Le Parfum EDT. Well crafted and balanced. I get mostly the orange blossom and jasmine enveloped with sweet sweet honey, red berries and amber completing the scent. I am convinced that I need this one in my life. Now I understand why this one is associated with a woman's wedding day. It's that scent that you want to get reminded of a perfect day, whether it be something grand of marrying the love of your life, of having a perfect spring afternoon lying lazily on the grass, to having fun in state fairs eating funnel cakes.

Caramelkisses

Love at first sniff!!! Genny17 gifted me a sample and it was FB worthy. Been wearing it for a few days and it's ABSOLUTELY beautiful.

PerfumeEmpress

DYING to try this one!

pinky_brit

This smells exactly like Piz Buin and I love that!
Piz Buin is a sunscreen brand, I always bought it for the smell of it because it's so amazing.
Me and a friend both smelled it at the same time and said the same thing... more confirmation for me :)

I don't find it at all similar to the others from the range. Which I feel are extremely floral, so they feel more mature.
This one is younger, sweeter and sexier.

muahah

It reminds me something, but I'm not sure what. It's some familiar scent from creams, shampoos... perhaps some drinks and creamy sweets? Gourmand, but not really.

This perfume is modern enough, but perhaps it was inspired by beautiful 80's lady in light silk dressing gown and her photo is mysteriously blurred as they used to do.

It's feminine, balsamic, creamy, silky, white, floral and slightly refreshing and sweetish. Bit spicy note balances out this floral. Mostly I feel jasmine and amber note, little bit orange blossom. Musk is in background. It's slightly bitter and at least for me it have hint of some soft alcoholic cocktail. It's clean perfume, but not exactly in a soapy way. Usually I dislike patchouli, but here it's not that noticeable.

mutintabailey

Beautiful perfume, I feel beautiful, I feel surrounded by a bed of flowers.
It's not only projecting but it is beautiful and it all blends well.
I hope sometime in the distant future I can find a partner that I'll be able to wear to my own wedding :(
Beautiful pretty fragrance! 10/10!!

mudpach

Surprise! What a great scent! Very addictive, floral-soft spicy and warm. Great sillage and longevity.

auroramaria

Sexy sweet and addictive! The orange blossoms and jasmine lie on a bed of almost syrupy vanilla and amber and the whole composition smells wonderful. It is a rich fragrance great for early spring but too sweet for summer.Sillage and longevity both outstanding. It is sweet but in a very refined way, White is suitable for any occasion where you want to be noticed and complimented on how great you smell.

Midnight Lady

Very prominent red berries in the opening. After the scent settles I get mainly jasmine with amber and orange blossom but still being able to detect berries far in the background.

It's sweet, but not in a sickly way. At some point I recognize original ES Le Parfum DNA. Le Parfum is one of those queens you can't forget, but In White is sort of a pointless release if you ask me. It doesn't stand out of the crowd of today's fruity/floral releases such as Armani Si Passione etc. It doesn't really smell bad but when I smell it it's sort of a "Ok, but why?..." reaction. An absolute lack of originality.

To me 5/10.

CB23

Elie Saab, you've done it again. I wish they would release a men's range. I own the unisex range, but there's nothing outstanding from that range other than the Rose.

The women's range however is just constant beautiful scents being released, this one is possibly my favourite based on a quick sniff at the airport, I'll have to give it another proper test when I return from my travels, but first impressions I was very impressed

mylene_stl

Since I didn't like any of the Saab fragrances, I wasn't expecting much of it.
But this fragrance is wonderful.
It does smell like JPG Classic Intense, but they are more like siblings than dupe.
JPG is the older sister, more mature, sexy and sweet.
In White is younger but not in a teenage way. It's creamy and berry sweet, remind me of dryer sheets but in a good way.
I'll surely buy this, since I couldn't get enough of it after trying my sample.
I'll keep the JPG for my early 30's.

ScarlettX

A strong floral perfume, the most dominant notes are jasmine and orange blossom. There is also sweet berry notes, that I like.
The whole thing is longlasting too.
Quite fine, but I like the original Le parfum better.

An instant like and after 5 minutes like turned into love. This fragrance to me is stunning and perfectly balanced. Just the right amount of sweetness to stop the jasmine from screaching and overpowering. The dry down is amazing. I'm obsessed with the smell. I agree with other reviewers this isn't like your typical clean "white" fragrance. This beauty is so versatile and it will work well in all seasons day or night. I also see it suiting different age groups too.

This is based on my first and only test in a perfume shop:
I love Elie Saab perfumes.I was introduced to this brand but great jobs like le parfum, intense(which is one of my top ten favorites since I first tried it),couture, edt and resort2017.I love all mentioned ones.there was also the rose one,not at amazing as her sisters, still pretty.then there was Nuit Noor(which made me sick) and girl of now(which I could get along with.but didn't like it enough to rush to buy a bottle).actually I was a bit nervous about the next elie saab offering.tonight when I saw the tester bottle of le parfum in white,I couldn't wait to try it on my skin
When I first sprayed it,immediately three things came to my mind:1.it's very veryyyy familiar 2.it's my type but can easily be overwhelming for me if not lightly sprayed(and I'm usually into sillage monsters) 3.this isn't a white scent for me
I couldn't remember it's notes in perfume shop.I guessed there's jasmine and orange flower in it but more jasmine, something warm, sweet, deep and slightly powdery which I thought may be vanilla or amber, and a faint hint of something juicy and fruity which faded away fast and there was just a touch of something woodsy in background.Iright there I remembered why it's so familiar.it smelled like 70% similar to Jean Paul Gaultier Classique intense(another perfume which I like a lot but can make me sick of a bit overdone).to my nose le parfum in white is a love child of JPG classique intense and elie saab le parfum.though I really like both of them,it didn't seem like a good news for me as I have them so I didn't see a point for buying in white, specially now that I'm broke and perfumes are more expensive than ever.I left the store without in white
But I couldn't stop sniffing myself.those gorgeous white flowers with a hint of berry sparkle wrapped by deep honey like amber.mmmm.just so feminine,so elie saab, sexy and classy the same time and like most other elie saabs there's amazing projection
Now it's 5 am,my nose is glued to my hand and I'm still trying to sniff last residues of that quick spray of 8 hours ago.I think I have to go back and bring it home as soon as my wallet decides to cooperate
By the way, though I really like it,I wouldn't choose this one to wear in my wedding.I prefer something really white, softer, silky,a bit innocent.among all elie saabs I think I'd prefer "le parfum edt" as a bride scent.but I would happily wear in white in my honeymoon and after-wedding parties
Edit:
Elie Saab in white is one of the most headache inducing perfumes I have ever tested. It's a rare situation for me.I've tested it three times until now and each time it made me and my husband sick in half an hour.I don't know what's my problem with perfume but I envy all people who don't have this problem with it.considering all positive reviews I feel that I'm the only one in this league
I have to remove it from my wantlist and it's a pity as I love collecting elie saab fragrances

A tamed down Elie Saab le parfum mixed with Burberry London.
Not bad, not outstanding.

Sweet white floral, amber scent. There is something bridal about it, but it's also quite modern due to red berries.

Le Parfum In White by Elie Saab is a beautiful, luscious fruity floral on my skin. It smells like the original orange-blossom dominant Elie Saab Le Parfum blended with Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle.

I still prefer the original Elie Saab Le Parfum, the only reason being, it wears better on my skin. Le Parfum In White is much juicier with a sparkling effect on the skin. It's less focused on being a white floral and as a result smells more care-free.

The top notes are quite sweet and jammy with dewy orange blossom and red berries. The dry-down has an almost chypre quality with heavy patchouli and amber accords adding extra depth to an all-around sparkling fruity floral.

Just a few sprays are all that is required with this fragrance. It does have very bold sillage and also lasts extremely well on the skin and clothes.

Supposedly this flanker is inspired by the wedding dresses that Elie Saab is well known for and is supposed to represent the purity of white flowers. Le Parfum In White is definitely a scent for the modern bride. Personally, I'm a little bit more 'rustic', so the original Le Parfum is more my cup of tea for a bridal fragrance.

This is a blind buy I truly enjoy !! I really like this perfume, it is to me the best of the Elie Saab, because I love amber, and white musks, it gives the scent a lot of amplitude, a natural juiciness, t is also quite floral, not in a screechy way, in a rounded way..I detect the Jasmine , but it is muted almost, , I don't detect any patchouli, which is good news..I do detect a kind of honey vibe, that pops through in the top notes and a bit in the heart.
What a delightful scent !! I sprayed it in my car, and the aroma that lingers is so feminine, and elegant..you have to like white florals to like In White, I find it real pretty, with that element of elegance.. the aura is so clean and fresh, and it warms up in the base..my husband says it smells pretty, good thing !!
Longevity is very good, and on the skin, it smells fantastic
I can see myself moving it to my top shelf, and it might become my signature scent for a while !!

I've liked a few elie saab perfumes, some I haven't though - that 'Girl of Now' for me was a 'Girl of Never' and Nuit Noor was an uber spice disaster. Others I've liked, but not enough to buy.

But I bought this one. It's lovely, seriously lovely! There's no pear or cedar notes, that on me are volatile and unpredictable. That's where this wins my vote, it's so well balanced, even the Jasmine is easy to get along with. It's so feminine and one of the nicest orange blossoms I've got. For me the patchouli is actually non invasive, I'm not sure if I even notice it that much, sometimes it can really ruin a fragrance. The musks dance in the background and the white amber and berries sustain and lift it. It's so good! Try it if you see it.

The sillage is very good and the longevity is around 8 hours for me. Lovely dry down too, it holds the florals for a long time.

This smells good. It is sweet, but not sickening. It reminds me of the original Elie Saab le parfum, but this one is sweeter. It is nice and elegant, but i prefer the original. With a name like "in white", i was expecting a white floral bomb, or at least a heavier white floral than the original one was, but i can't smell the flowers here. On me, the strongest note is a honeyed amber. Sillage and longevity are weaker than in the original.
Again, pleasant fragrance, but i am a bit disappointed.
p.s: my husband liked it, so this may be a hit with the gentlemen.

I love Elie Saab Le parfum and the intense version too!
I don't like patchouli but I would like to try it cause I trust the brand!
Let's see what happens on this date :)

I like the name too. A quick scan of Le Parfum flankers will show this is the first flanker named after a color. Unless you count d'Or, which I believe means golden.
So, no, this is not a flanker series based on colors, --yet.
I guess they're trying to hit the 'Wedding Day' market, thus -in white, after all Le Parfum edp is always mentioned as wedding day fragrance recommendation.
