White Tea by Elizabeth Arden is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for women. White Tea was launched in 2017. White Tea was created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Guillaume Flavigny and Caroline Sabas. Top notes are Sea Notes, Fern, Clary Sage and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are White Tea, White Iris and Mate; base notes are Exotic Woods, Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Tonka Bean and Amber.

An exquisite fragrance that captures the purity and simplicity of white tea.

Perfumers & co-creators Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Guillaume Flavigny & Caroline Sabas, describe the inspiration for White Tea:

"For this fragrance creation, we wanted to capture that refreshing moment of blissful solace experienced at the first sip of tea. White Tea Vapors and Sea Breeze Accord develop into the sweet smell of White Iris before finishing with the warm wood scent of Madras Wood, Tonka Bean and a delicately blended trio of musks.”

Clean, fresh, warm laundry - that's how it smells to me. Nothing more. Cool for those days when you don't feel like wearing perfume. Great longevity especially on clothes. Great for the office, school. However I wouldn't wear this, too boring to me.

Richa30

My daily workhorse perfume. Clean , soapy , aromatic scent. Something in it smells “cold”. Reminds me of a luxury hotel lobby. Performance is much better than perfumes that cost twice as much. Many people ask me what perfume I am wearing. I am buying this until they stop making it.

anaesthesiaangel

generic clean aromatic soapy but sophisticated fragrance. fleeting, weak, but pleasant. lasts 30 mins on me

Jill Costello

Rich sophisticated clean and put together. I can smell a bit of the tea/herbalness mixed with calm woods. Not the kind of fragrance I reach for but it's very nice. I gave it to my mom and she wears it daily.

jessyux3

I would be very happy if my grandma wore this.

rosemary.milk

Not for me. As much as I wanted to like this, it’s too astringent and soapy for me, clean in a sterilised way. I’m decluttering my bottle because the only way I could think to get through it was to cover it with other scents, but it just makes my other scents smell soured. The body cream from this line is great though, if you want this smell without such a harsh soapy effect, maybe try that one.

Mims92

Smells very nice and herbal but there’s a note that makes my throat scratchy otherwise this is a good value for money and last for atleast 6 hours.

athomas

It smells ok, not something that I prefer to wear. My reason is that I feel like it kind of smells a little outdated. It is subtle, so if you don't want to stand out much, this is for you. I would say it smells like a mix of light herbal and light floral. I wouldn't say it's a refreshing scent though. For some reason the word "tea" makes me think that a scent is refreshing...with that in mind, this is not a refreshing/bright type. Maybe some might find this to be more of a comforting, scent, not alluring but low-key and relaxing. Something you might wear for around the house, or office (if you have to be careful about not wearing loud fragrances).

FlowerSeeker

I loved this from first spray! The aquatic notes are sweet and the tea is floral. Great for everyday. Now I want to try the flankers. I’ll definitely wear this again!

angievoicu

Leans truly unisex but to me is not really a freshie, i have others that i consider freshies. It was 20$ for 30 ml but i really don't like it at all. Reminds me of Avon/Oriflame fragrances. I just can't stand the smell.

miiilaala

a very easygoing, white, fresh and intimate perfume that sits close to the skin i didn’t think i’d like. it’s super calming and a safe blind buy. the name makes a great description of the smell. only thing i don’t like is the longevity (lasts up to 1 hour before i can’t smell it anymore).

jansiri

Easy to wear perfume for everyday. On me this is a powdery, soapy clean tea scent. Leans a bit mature due to the heavy iris but blind buy worthy if you are into clean smelling fragrance.

lawleizz

Citrussy and vibrant. As it settles and as you wear it throughout the day, I gather musky notes from it. Definitely a good scent for those who live in tropical or humid areas!

akha231

Citrus white floral that in goes in a semi-sour direction, keeping it refreshing enough. It's not exact, but it's got something in common with Earl Grey tea, something close to the dry astringent scent of real tea, and the citrus aspect is more bergamot than mandarin. Despite the (well-blended and not overwhelming) laundry musk in the drydown, it's not actually a clean laundry scent for me -- more like I've showered in the morning, but I've been outside in the sun on a June day. Decent performance; it's lasted 9 hours on skin.

Silverbell

Classy and soothing! Really pretty white floral scent. Absolutely perfect on days I don't wanna smell too much like when I go to school or the gym. Longevity is weak, about 3 hours and sillage is intimate but it's okay for this price. Really nice feel good perfume.

Used to have White tea wild rose a few years ago so I decided to give white tea a new chance because it's such a classy scent.

Cogey

This is the scent I imagine Joan from Mad Men wore to the office, or Midge Maisel would wear to a daytime function. It’s vintage, powdery, musky, fresh. I don’t love powdery scents, but this one is very good. I blind bought a 1oz for about $12 so it’s also a cheapie. It’s not complex, sits close to the skin and doesn’t last super long, but it smells fresh and if someone were to nuzzle into your neck, they would probably enjoy being met with this. Oddly, this could also work as a male fragrance because it doesn’t have anything overtly sweet about it. I really like it! I think I will probably wear it to lunches, running errands or to bed.

TillyWave

I didn't even realize how much I missed Bvlgari Au le Blanc until I wore this little number. Oh the memories. Like a smooth musk and cool soap bubble next to washed white cotton all at once. The slight undertones of green fern, salty seawater, and earthy iris & ambrette are a nice touch.

EA White Tea isn't earth shattering but it's a comfortable, confident fragrance. It manages to be a few things at once: Androgenous (this would smell great on any man who was going for a tea infused soap and buttoned down shirt vibe) clean and comforting, and not sweet at all which is a relief. For $25 for a full presentation 100 ml bottle to boot -- not bad Elizabeth Arden!

Cherryz

Could be nice for people who want to smell like a SPA. But for me, it is one of the most boring, one-dimensional fragrances I've ever sprayed on myself. It opens up nice and fresh, but the drydown isn't for me at all. It's a very cheap, most generic SPA smell I can imagine. I scrubbed it off after 2h, it left no trace.

UlianaM

this is so good. fresh clean smell.
if you know the film "scent of a woman", I think it is something like this.
quiet, calm, simple , but extremely attractive.

Msala140

Lovely, subtle scent. Used this along with the cream right out of the shower . It’s so refreshing and calming , like you’re in a spa. I get mainly watery notes along with a lightly steeped tea, and some very soft woods in the back. It’s super clean , I think this is perfect for anytime of the day. Personally for me it would be used as an easy reach and a bedtime scent .

It’s a cheapie but projection is about arms length and on my skin it lasts about 6 hours so overall quality goes beyond what I expected for the price

leebec23

This perfume opens with an amazing tea note however on my skin it quickly turns into a weird herbal note that I disliked. Sad because I love tea notes in my perfumes.

AdalynEverly

Not a fan. Yes it does have a spa like smell but at a barely open mall that was made in the 90’s. I may have smelled this in a department store, but this one smells like it. That sea note is making this perfume absolutely unisex, and not doing anything interesting for me. Also maybe that salt dry down is not mixing with my skin chemistry well.
Edit:
Oh yeah I hate this. For some reason on my skin chemistry it’s giving a lemon salty zest smell with a fishy undertone to it. I now use it to spray before I open the door so that the dog I’m pet sitting doesn’t barge through the door.
Edit 2:
Okay this is alright. Someone commented that it smells like 2000’s dry towels that have lemon detergent and I could definitely see that. It’s alright, but I think it’s too zen, and too much of a my mother’s scent in my opinion. I think I’ll use it as a bed scent.

Deliza1997

Very clean floral earthy scent. This is not a very old release but somehow gives me nostalgia. It smells like something my Mom will love to wear but in a good way. I like it 😄.

iheomagu

A beautiful ambery, sweet, tea fragrance. I really didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. It’s clean, fresh, and airy. Perfect for those days you don’t want to look like you put an effort into looking good. Will always repurchase.

salsacatblue

I wanted to like it. Hoping that it would smell clean and spa like. BUT for me this one has that atifical scent that linger in my mouth. I think this one doesn't offend anyone. Soft slightly warm maybe a bit too mature even though I am like close to 50! I would not call this marine scent. Very artificial to me.

Woolly Israelita

It's cool, but I could've done w/o it. Good for summer

ivaa36

Very soothing and clean scent. I always get complimented while wearing it.

millyb

A solid spray. Never gotten any compliments, but no one's told me I smelled bad in this either. I secretly really like White Tea it feels clean and fresh to me.

mhubbard1961

Wow, this stuff, I avoided it for years due to EA label. This is a subtle scent that lasts if you use 6 sprays. But it won't project. Similar to Wood Sage and sea salt. Very nice for work or around home Love it

lepx0x

This was my very first perfume purchase when I got into fragrances. I remember smelling this on one of those test stripes in a magazine and ripped it out right away and held onto it for the longest time. I kept sniffing the test strip until I could no longer smell the perfume on it and finally went on one of those fragrance sites and bought a big bottle for like $30 I was obsessed with this fragrance for years until I got into other fragrances. I will always have this scent in my collection.

It’s a beautiful clean white tea, light woods & musk combo smells very feminine in the dry down and perfect for any occasion and lasts on me ALL day. I think it’s a great blind buy or to give as a gift, it’s just one of those perfumes.

shellsybelle

I picked up two little bottles for $8 NZD each and thought I would give it a try.
White tea is very light and much lighter than my others in the ‘Tea’ range by Elizabeth Arden. It’s there one minute on my skin and then it’s gone making it hard for me to work out what I can smell. Its opening is fresh, gentle and would be ideal to wear if you need a little bit of scent but you don’t want intoxicate others. Could be good for the office or working in an area where you don’t want to overwhelm your co workers. Like someone said it could be a good sleep fragrance, it’s nice but I still favour the original Green Tea. Not bad.

5hiraeth

A classic white tea perfume, it's currently one of my sleep scents. However, after trying the rose version, its position in my heart has slightly diminished. Its longevity and projection are not strong, so instead of using it for going out, work, or school, I highly recommend using it as a sleep scent.

Meggluth

I cant be objective. I adore this. Stronger than a minimalist your skin but better scent, it features a rosy tea accord that just lands perfectly within an airy vacum of aldehydes and non calone aquatic notes as it wears the tea blends into the musky woody base. All seamlessly smooth and perfectly calibrated. Imagine soft white light wafting through breeze thrown curtains. Feels perfect for all occasions, from the most casual to the most formal. It's ridiculously low priced and signature scent worthy 6/6

YourFragranceFriend

This is often compared to Bvlgari au The Blanc. Smelling them side-by-side, they do smell pretty different. White Tea is more musky, warm, and slightly tart. Au The Blanc is an extremely cool, herbal scent. It smells like you took Bvlgari and layered another fragrance over it.

Once the opening wears off, they smell more similar. I can tell which is which when smelling side by side. However, If someone were wearing one or the other, I probably would not be able to tell. The White Tea scent loses most of what made it different in the opening and settles into the same cold, plush, green tea scent.

Overall, it's a beautiful, pleasant fragrance. I really loved the Bvlgari but for the price point, the Elizabeth Arden wins.

Restingsadface

I bought this perfume at a discount when I was in high school and earned my first money. It was my first brand perfume. At that time, perfumes were sold at very affordable prices and they were often discounted. It arrived in a long and elegant bottle and I could smell it even from the box. If you are looking for a perfume that a high school girl can use at special events or graduation, you are in the right place. It's a full vanilla and tea scent, but you don't smell tea that much. It is a bit heavy perfume, so it is more suitable for use on winter days. It appeals to every age and has a motherly scent. The only downside is that it's edt and I haven't noticed it for a long time. The funny thing is I've been using this perfume for four years and I couldn't understand why it smelled so light even though I paid that much money. In general, brands sell edt perfumes at very cheap prices, and you have light scents that smell very special, but you cannot use them on special days because they smell less. This is one of those perfumes. The last time I went to the hairdresser, I sprayed it all over it and after an hour it smelled like nothing. Still, it can be a good choice for those with migraine. Also, I think I've smelled this scent on a man before, guess its an unisex scent. Longevity and silage is really bad since its edt. The price used to be affordable, but now it's not worth it even if it smells expensive. It's special for me as it's my first brand perfume, so my score is 9/10.

Sandols

A dry sunny day indoors, with occasional wind blowing in your hair. You're looking down at the beach from the second floor of your villa, a cup of tea warm in your hands, a pot of fern to your left. A white linen scarf is loosely looped around your neck, the wind causing the tail to trail behind you. Behind you is your unmade bed; white lightweight blanket sprawled heedlessly on top of the white bed sheets. The crisp white color of the curtains and furnitures contrasts nicely on the warm tan laminate wood flooring.

It definitely has an aquatic vibe but it is a dry type of aquatic. like you went for a swim, taken a shower, and is allowing your hair to air dry.

Sure it's a summer scent, but I find it alright to wear for winter as well (In the cold air it will instead give a sophisticated lady vibe)

Keep in mind that the scent performs differently on clothes vs skin.

Encici

Good quality product on a very affordable prize tag. Totally unisex. On me, after 2 hours started to lean on the masculine side and I don't like it. Spraying quite oily, which is a good point. And I can see after 4 hours, it will last long enough. It's a skip for me now, I don't really like masculine leaning fragrances, but it is on me, you may have a beautiful end result. Totally worth trying, its a spicy musk with tea. Stylish, elegant, smells luxurious. And I would love to smell it on a man in the high heat:)

Luka_

A friend of mine had this scent for over a year and let me use it a couple of times. Now, since it has been a year, my nose cannot sense any citrus in this fragrance. Instead, there is a lovely fresh, floral (almost unisex, leaning more towards the feminine side). On my skin, the jasmine popped off with the sweetness of the tonka beans in the drydown. This is a lovely fragrance, however it only lasted around 4 hours on me before it morphed into an intimate skin scent for another 4 hours. The first hour or so it moderately projected the scent. I also tried spraying this on clothes, and this is where it shines! Two days after having sprayed it on, I could still detect it from the clothing I had previously used. Would recommend spraying on clothes for extra longevity.

Adjr1087

This is a simple yet beautiful spa like scent, that smells clean, fresh and just a little musky but in a good way. Definitely a skin scent that works perfect for the office, or everyday errands. Non-offensive and very crowd pleasing. As previously mentioned, this fragrance lacks longevity. But you can find this really cheap, so I just reapply without remorse. I am usually a gourmand lover, but with the extreme hot temperatures I cannot use my sweet gourmands, so I love wearing this one and also layer this with the Ginger Lily flanker (which is the only flanker I love).

Nikol2

Well, I was thinking a lot of how I want to smell on my wedding day. And after trying some niches and expensive brands I decided to wear this beauty. This is a real treasure between bright and clean perfumes and also lasts all day.

Ajattaro

I don't know what universe I'm living in because my experience with Elizabeth Arden's White Tea fragrance is nothing like the glowing reviews I'm reading. I really dislike this perfume even though I thought I'd like it. It smells like aftershave: very musky and overpowering to the point it makes me nauseous if I wear more than half a spray. I dislike musky scents and the scent is just so deep, dark and musky that I can't smell anything else. Once it tones down into a skin scent it can be pleasantly soft and warm so I give it that.

I'm surprised so many people described this as a lemon scent or a fresh laundry scent as I smell nothing even reminiscent of lemon or anything fresh in this one. It's definitely more of a masculine scent, I could imagine my father wearing it. Contrary to popular opinion I think it's the most suitable in the winter time and as an evening perfume.

Dani83

Simple clean and uncomplicated I absolutely love it smells so lovely and it lasts for ages on my skin

SophiaG

I really do like this - I don't get citrus as much as I get a sharp alcohol/ambroxan that makes it 'piercing' in a way that's not totally unpleasant. I smell the sea water accord strongly, as well as the tea, but really don't get most of the other notes listed. The tea makes me think of a jasmine green - lightly floral with a touch of bitterness. Very musky but still great for warm weather as the tea note makes it feel fresh and airy

Very fresh, and I think it can easily be unisex - it smells like a nice shampoo or spa experience without being sweet in any way. And for the price, it's just a good casual fragrance. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's worth having in your collection!

Spicadk

Smells like real pure citrus, very clean. Too fresh for me

erika.isme.98

So relieved that this wasn't nearly as oceanic as I expected. She's pretty!

franzkafkafan

On the skin, it gives off an almost synthetic, fresh, winter green smell that is very pleasant and simple. The type of smell you want your house to smell like after a day of deep cleaning. It's not overpowering or strong, and a good "everyday" scent for going to work or class. Like your favorite pair of jeans. You can shower yourself in it everyday and not feel guilty because it's so cheap.

Linda JK

I love Arden fragrances and have purchased several over the years. I always end up gifting some to loved ones because they smell similar. I promise myself I won't buy more, then I do : )

Arden's White Tea was a blind buy and pleasant surprise. A light hand is best because it's loud in the opening due to the mandarin orange, iris, and tea notes.

It settles into a creamy and fresh scent that sits close to the skin.

I got about 2 hours out of this scent on my skin. Spraying it on my top improved the longevity, but only by about an hour. I bought a small flanker that can easily fit in my handbag, in case I need a re-spray.

Once it's done, I can see myself purchasing another.

suzanne_ronald

This beautiful 'clean girl' scent of Ivory Soap, tea and citrus opens with a transparent veil of sparkling mandarin that gives way to an earthy, soap & musk dry-down. Hearkens to memory the vintage 'Ivory Girl' marketing campaign.

Comparison to Un Jardin Apres la Mousson Hermes:
These are different but there is a similar vibe with transparent citrus opening for a 'shower-fresh' clean drydown The opening of UJALM is a little more citrus forward but with the same transparency of citrus. White Tea becomes a little sharper and soapier in the drydown.

Comparison to Rio Glow Jennifer Lopez:
Similar vibes with citrus opening and soapy/clean musk drydown. The opening of Rio Glow leans a little more fruity than citrus, with the recognizable 'Glow' drydown which to my nose is similar to the drydown of White Tea.

Comparison to 4711 Acqua Colonia Mandarine & Cardamom:
These are very different scents but the opening of White Tea has a soft mist of sparkling mandarin and faint spice that reminds me of 4711 Mandarine & Cardamom, however this isn't a citrus scent and the spicy citrus quickly fades away into the background although still present in the middle.

Comparison to Ormonde Woman Ormonde Jane:
These have an overall similar vibe and in the air the drydowns are pretty close to my nose, although Ormonde Woman doesn't have the mandarin in the opening - I would say 60-70% similar.

Comparison to Jannet El Firdaus Swiss Arabian:
These are different but have an overall similar vibe with the soapy greenness, although JEF also lacks the citrus and has beast mode performance. If Jannet El Firdaus is Irish Spring soap, White Tea is Ivory Soap by comparison.

Overall: easy to like, easy to wear and perfect dumb reach for that 'clean girl' scent with above average performance, that becomes beast mode when layered over it's matching body lotion. Great value.

disneyninja01

This is the first perfume that I ever got! When I first smelled it a few years ago, I absolutely fell in love. To me, it is a very fresh, aromatic scent that I think works well for someone of any age. The main notes I get in this are the tea leaves and aquatic notes, and I find the musk in the dry down to be very feminine and lovely. Fragrance is subjective, though, so you never know until you try it! My biggest complaint about this fragrance is that it does not have great lasting power. I am really excited to try the EDP version to see if it lasts longer!

SaraZigova

It smells like wash batch

annasarahr121

I'm a big Elizabeth Arden fan -- Arden Beauty, 5th Avenue and several flankers, Red Door, Green Tea, Sunflowers Sunlight Kiss, etc. -- but I just can't get behind White Tea. At first, I thought it might be the aquatic/marine nature of it that I wasn't liking, but when I pulled out two very aquatic/marine fragrances that I know and love (Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Azzuro and Gres Cabotine Eau Vivide), while I get a marine/aquatic note in all three, I think the fact that White Tea has no flower notes at all -- Paradiso Azzuro has lots of jasmine and Eau Vivide has freesia -- just makes it too stark and spartan. I just don't like it. Often I'll prefer flankers to the OG and I'm eager to try the Ginger Lily version because it promises both ginger and florals, which I love.

sarazil

i think this is a sophisticated and clean scent in the best way. reminds me of the ocean but also of the woods. it has flower notes and is all-round enjoyable and suitable.

VioletDr

I like mine better as the fragrance ages, as I’m picking up less and less citrus. Two years in it’s a creamy, fresh iris with musky oceany laundry vibes.

windchime_00

This is what I would categorize as a persistently fresh scent. To me it is citrus forward (I saw someone else said it was not a citrus scent, but I disagree). It's a very pleasing citrus and floral laundry soap. I think this is a perfect scent to wear under the shirt. If you wear it on extremities it will take over and possibly become tiresome, but that is part of the appeal too. Sometimes I want something aggressively or reassuringly refreshing, but I want to be able to temper it a bit, so I find if I use this one strategically, I am happy with it.

I will probably purchase again because I think it is a great and affordable stand-by to spray under my shirt or on items between doing laundry, or to keep in the bathroom. It smells like a great deodorant to me.

Update: Original Green Tea is better, plain and simple. This is too harsh to wear on your body, but the notes themselves are not bad and it is lasting and projecting. Good for covering up bad smells.

BougieGirlShops

This is not what I expected at all, but I am not mad at it. It's a fantastic scent, but when you are expecting a tea forward, soft and generic scent, it kind of takes you by surprise. This is quite unique for a perfume, feels very unisex to me. I do get room air freshener vibes, really does smell like the lobby of a fancy hotel.

It definitely has an aquatic vibe to it, yet green as well with the fern. As well, tea scents are generally for spring/summer, this one can definitely sit firmly as fall appropriate. It's spa-like if the spa is at a woodsy retreat, not an urban day spa.

AlaskanAngel

Fresh, clean, comforting. A soapy sweet, white musk with very gentle floral notes. I wouldn't class it as a floral fragrance. It's pretty smooth and very nice for this style, smells more expensive than it is. Smells like a wonderful mother. I appreciate it and would enjoy it greatly on others, but this was not made for me.

Review of official carded sample that came free with purchase.

CatOwned

This smells good in a fresh, feminine, and a tiny bit sweet way. This is an easy dumb reach when I want to feel fresh

Heavenly Heather

This is simple yet beautiful. It reminds me of scented luxury skin care. This is the kind of perfume I throw on when I don’t have much do. The sillage and longevity are weak but it’s not an expensive fragrance so I wasn’t really expecting much. I’ll most likely wear this around the house or when running errands.

XOXO_marcel

This is the classiest, most elegant perfume I have ever encountered. It literally gives the impression of a bright ball of light. Very subtle so it should be okay to go heavy on the spray. Perfect for a gorgeous, kind woman who has her life together.

Dcarlo

This is like spending an autumnal weekend in a peaceful spa retreat by the sea.
It makes me think of white towels, satin sheets, sea breeze and of course a steaming cup of tea with a book.
Mandarins, sweet and aromatic sage, calming tea, elegant iris and sweet amber with light vanilla.
Don’t expect a long lasting fragrance but that’s part of the beauty of this calming and chic perfume.
Totally unisex and perfect for practically any occasion.
A beautiful addition to my collection that I will surely wear quite often.

MrsCongeniality

Everybody recommended this perfume, because i wanted a scent that resembles a day at the spa. It is a nice scent, only more spice and herbs then i thought it would have. Makes you feel clean and fresh, but the scent is nothing like a day at the spa.

AshBud

Starts off woody with a big burst of sage, then dries down into a pleasant light breeze of ocean waves, white tea, and mandarian orange. Projection is not overwhelming and settles beautifully. It reminds me of a mix of the Green Tea by EA with D&G Light Blue. Really lovely, clean shower scent.

I really do love this... I can’t imagine this being a dislike for anyone.

It smells like a clean white and bright spa to me in a modern building with big glass walls that overlook Swiss mountains or something like that (even though I’ve never been to one - but what I’d imagine one would smell like).

It is aromatic but mass-appealing to me. I’ve seen it described as a ‘heavenly’ smell and I’d have to agree, it has an angelic quality. I’m likely being influenced by the packaging but it does smell like the colour white, pure and clean.

If you want to give off ‘clean’ vibes then this is a great choice that isn’t just ‘bubble bath’ or ‘pure grace’. It is more complex than both of those but still just as comforting and lovely to wear. I bought this as a late teen and still love it, so don’t think this perfume has any age.

Definitely one to try, you’ll fall in love with it whatever your face scent profile is I think. It’s timeless and beautiful to all.

Also… It smells like an expensive body lotion, rather than a perfume as someone else mentioned.

It’s something people would quickly pick up on as your signature scent, without it standing out as a ‘perfume’. It is soothing and comforting as others said and just relaxes me, hence the spa analogy. If you can get this, definitely do!

Pebblesjebbles333

This is sooo good! I have a wide variety of clean fragrances in my collection of almost 200 fragrances but this particularly one smells clean in a special way. Almost addicting. There's something about this that soothes my soul and make me go aaaahh after a long day when I spritz it before going to bed. The bottle fits the scent. White, pure, clean and green. This is perfect for anytime use. I can also imagine an impeccably posh woman wearing this while having tea with her friends.

This is a blind buy and I got the 1.7 oz. Will have to buy a full sized bottle soon.

mhubbard1961

A gorgeous scent that doesn't smell like perfume. So beautiful, fresh, clean, outdoors, and unisex, sadly short lasting. At this price point reapplication is easy but I still wish it would last

fantomette

Words can’t describe how much I enjoy this one ! It’s very simple but at the same time quite complex; it’s sweet perfume-y white tea with a salty, almost skin like background. Very refreshing for summer, very feminine and comforting to bed. It doesn’t have a monster sillage, but it’s still noticeable if you’re around people wearing it. Longevity is good, the price is too! If you need a quick pick me up fragrance that is still pretty and different, this is the one for you :) I’m not sure it would work out in winter but it’s perfect for hotter seasons or for relaxing in your own home. I would love this as a candle / linen spray / shampoo as it is very luxurious and spa-like, like some other comments have mentioned. Overall would recommend!

You are a handsome, wounded traveler and I am the mysterious woman whose cottage you have stumbled into. You are a young soldier returning from war and I am the pretty nurse. As I lean in to gently tend your wounds, you catch a hint of my delicate scent. It is clean and herbal. Cool, soft, and soothing. I settle you back into bed and I leave so that you can rest. You wonder when I am coming back...

This frag is chef's kiss especially for a spring/summer scent collection. It performs well under humidity. The aquatic, citrus and tea notes are just combined so beautifully. If you love EA Green Tea (which I do), there's no way you won't love this.

The tonka bean makes it so addictive for me. This definitely takes the cake as my current all-time favorite scent. This gives a fresh, clean, effortless and classy vibe. It's not trying to impress anybody. It's a great everyday scent in the office or on casual gatherings. I saw this on TikTok as a heavenly smell and I definitely agree. It also layers well with other fresh scents.

Totally worth being a staple in my fresh scent spring/summer collection. Will definitely repurchase.

Allegoria

I keep this in my small scent collection for when I want the barest and cleanest of scents and don’t need longevity. The 13.5 ounce of White Tea body cream is a good deal and helps keep the EDT alive a bit longer. Did I mention a clean scent? Smells like the name to me: an expensive white tea. As many have said before: great for office or when you don't want to take a chance on offending. And for anyone trying to stay within a budget.

Think sitting on green grass in a white wicker chair on a sunny day, wearing crisp linen and drinking white tea from a beautiful bone china teacup.

I use after a workout or before bed. And occasionally spray around a room for a clean (wish I could think of another word!) refresh.

Kanz Oman

Very safe & relaxing perfume for daily use, earthy fresh. I get hints of Prada Iris in this. This one has more lemony tea vibes. I love it.

Christine_Starling

A must-try for all tea lovers - White Tea is a very fresh, sophisticated fragrance that cannot offend. Suitable for everyday wear, especially during spring and summer. For me, the ideal choice for an office environment. I'm just a little sad that it doesn't last very long on me (max. 4 hours). However, considering how affordable this fragrance is, this slight negative is understandable.

likesleet

this lasted 3 seconds, but this was an herby, clean, linen powder scent.

sbmmbs21

I blind bought this perfume on sale after seeing the notes, because I thought it would be similar to Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil, which I love but sadly has really poor longevity on me.

Was really looking forward to a herbal, grassy, marine type fragrance but I can’t particularly smell any of these on me… Straight away I picked up on the amber, woody, powdery base notes to the point that it reminds me exactly like the dry down of Alaiia Paris, so was shocked there were no other references to this!

Thankfully Alaiia Paris is one of my favourite perfumes of all time so I’m happy with the resemblance. It’s just nothing like the Un Jardin Sur le Nil style fragrance I was looking for but love it nonetheless.

witch_mum

I've tried it from a sample. It is not a bad scent, shows good balance of fresh, powdery and floral accords, but longevity doesn't belong to it's best features. As it shows lots of similarity with Bvlgari's Eau Parfumee au The Blanc (which has far better longevity), Arden's White Tea won't get a chance from me for a full size bottle. But it is really a good substitute for Bvlgari if that is not available for you.

annema

I've been surprised. I got a luxury small bottle as a gift in a skin care EA set I bought last Winter. I was not expecting much but I like it. It smells clean, elegant, fresh. I can't actually imagine someone disliking that scent on a woman. It has been said in other reviews but yeah, it smells like a luxury spa. It smells like luxury skin care products at a sea side spa. You can't go wrong with that one and at the price tag it's being sold it's a must for perfume lovers. I will buy a full bottle. IMO this a classic. It's not long lasting on me though. On clothes this is staying all-day however.

Eveningrose

Clean , fresh and soapy . It is so gooood!! I smell mostly tea and iris ! Beautiful scent ! Will have to put the performance to test but I already love the scent it self ! Summer staple

chelseet

I can’t recommend this enough! I own(ed) 3 Arden perfumes and their longevity is great on me! White tea is the perfect blend of bright and fresh, meets soft and floral. This is a great spring and summer scent. Good for the office. I personally say that it’s a safe blind buy.

Patousas

This is a crisp white shirt kind-of perfume. Very classy, green, fresh and sophisticated. Reminds me of the scent at a high end spa.

MySkin

I love this perfume, I bought this one and the White tea Wild rose together, but White tea is for colder days and Wild rose for warmer.
I honestly never liked much any of Arden's other perfumes but this one was a love at first sniff ...
Clean, fresh, warm, little spicy, very feminine.
Stylish and elegant...

jbsherry

This is underrated imo. Perfectly balanced and minimalistic, but it still manages to come across as a perfume vs a scent that smells like a well-groomed person. Inoffensive, crisp, and comforting.

The tea, clary sage, and aquatic notes are most prominent to me, which gives it a freshness that doesn’t revolve around soapiness. I also pick up on musk throughout (likely the Ambrette which is divine in Mojave Ghost), which gives it a borderline unisex quality. I realized that the musk reminds me of the scent impression left behind after borrowing a man’s clothes. This undertone is very subtle and “innocent,” not animalic whatsoever. Longevity has been solid for me and it lasts well on clothes.

If you like clean scents that still give the impression that you’re wearing a fragrance, give this a go. Great value and respectable performance. Ideal summer/warm weather fragrance and easy everyday reach.

Yessamin

This fragrance harmoniously blends woods with florals to be pure, exquisite and uncomplicated.

The more i wear it, the more i like it!
When i first purchased the perfume last year it smelled cheap to me, like a nivea deodorant,
But now I can’t live without it!
It’s the perfect summer scent for me!
I live in a place where it goes up to 45 degrees celsius during the summer, and this perfume is my go to!
It lasts for hours on me, and it smells DIVINE on clothes!
It’s clean, it’s non offensive, and it’s unique.
It’s a nice aquatic, aromatic and slightly sweet scent.
I absolutely fell in love with it with time!💖
On my way to purchase a second bottle😉

redberrykitty

It's a pretty mild scent. It smells exactly like I thought it would; just a fresh scent that pretty much anyone would like (and that isn't a bad thing!). It was OK. I prefer Arden's Green Tea!

ElCaupo

fresh and SPAish scent, overhyped. There are others intresting scents out there at this price point.

Saranghaneun

Overrated. I saw a lot of good comments about this perfume and it was often recommended as a gym fragrance. I was warned by a male friend of mine that it reminds him of sex. After I purchased the perfume I understood what he was saying. It does remind me of sex, too, kind of soury... So far I have only worn it at home. I haven't used it at the gym yet and I'm not sure if I ever will.

BethyBee

Fresh, aromatic scent. This is very gentle and light, perfect for after shower. I like it, don't love it...I feel like something is missing. I don't know what though. Maybe I'd prefer lemon in my tea?! I'll definitely use this one this summer.

KittyDeBeauvoir

Expensive spa retreat in the rainforest vibes!

It wasn't until now while I was perusing the notes that I realised just how all-embracing this fragrance is! I mean - come on - tea (obviously), fruity, aquatic, woody, floral, spicy, sweet, green, and resinous! I think we're missing 'gourmand', but tea is brewed for MAXIMUM consumption, so I think that's good enough.

Tea is ace. I love tea.

So, anyway, here's the... tea (I'm punny and I know it). This scent makes me feel rich and classy... and I can't imagine that's a mean feat for any parfumier. Kudos there, kiddos.
I actually find this to be quite linear, but considering I smell so much and never feel overwhelmed or disappointed is fantastic! Those aquatic sea notes make me feel like I actually smell a little sea water. It mingles with this delicious sweet, beautifully green scent that smells so distinctly like a fern. I LOVE this fern note! GAAAARGH! It gives off a "spa retreat in the rainforest" mood. The white tea note makes me conjure up an image of myself slowly sipping on a cup of clear, i.e., white, tea in my hella-expensive terrycloth robe on the open window sill of this isolated retreat, gazing over the rainforest.

I'm delighted to discover that clary sage is in this. Clary sage has a slight lavender scent to it making it SO COZY. The iris does provide an elegant, slightly powdery/cosmetic scent to it; also lending to the image of a classier me. The tonka bean adds warm sweetness and the woodiness adds depth to what could have been a very flighty scent.

The longevity is moderate; 3-4 hours. Sillage does project a little, but won't fill a room. You'll leave a wonderful, calming cloud for your fellow (wo)man.

This, and Jennifer Lopez's "Still" are the best tea scents out there - inexpensive, too, I might add. Many positives, Perfumites.

Underestimate this at your own risk.

Kitty rating: 8.5/10.

I dont have anything similar to this in my collection and I love it! Im a fan of Elizabeth Arden tea scents and others and I know the quality is there. This one is extra special. Luxurious vibe but unassuming, gentle calming.... Beautiful, love it!!

violetaura

I did not like it at all on first spray. After it sat for several hours I began to think it was okay, but still didn't 'like' it. The smell remained on my jumper sleeve over the next day, and I seemed to like it more the next day when the strength faded a lot and the amber + musk mallow came out. Safe to say I am not a fan of how the top notes mix together. I think the mandarin and sage was far too strong. It's still a clean, professional and elegant fragrance, but I would never buy it.

correspondencepersonal

The perfume bottle is nice, attractive, classic, and basic. It is pretty enough to sit on the shelf of my more beautiful perfume bottles.

The perfume itself has a "close to the skin", spa-like, clean, refreshing quality. I really like this perfume, then again - I can barely smell it after it has been sprayed 30 minutes. This is another more modern perfume that is so light and airy that I know my Junior High self would have really liked, but it doesn't have the type of silage, projection, and presence that I would choose as a "signature" perfume.

Do they make an INTENSE version of this?
Hmmmmm, I guess that would defeat the whole "white tea" personality.
Who has ever heard of an INTENSE calm spa like experience? Right?

I think they are seriously ONTO something here, the general vibe of this perfume is very attractive and something that I truly LOVE, but I really want to wear a perfume 8 hours without having to refresh it by carrying a roll-on or purse perfume throughout the day.

Where do I put this perfume?
Is this a Love, Like, Ok, Dislike, Hate?
I LOVE the general concept and the first aroma that lasts the first 20 - 30 minutes or so, but I dislike the fact that this is so light that it is not lasting 6-8 hours. I hate feeling like I must purchase a roll on or purse spray just to extend the hours that a perfume wears.

I'm afraid that the perfume industry is drifting into the same category that a lot of our automobile and technological industries have drifted into - where they are purposely building in a planned obsolescence factor which makes it necessary for multiple purchases, rather than having a quality product that really works great from the git go.

-------------

So far, I have not found a replacement for my "signature" perfumes of the past because very rarely are the new perfumes able to have the same silage and projection as the perfumes that were created from the past decades. I have tried some truly GREAT new perfumes which have an awesome smell to them early on, but they are not able to compete with the length of wear that I have set as a standard (unless they are refreshed throughout the day constantly). I really wish that they were a bit stronger and lasted much longer - without the need to refresh so often.

-------------

I wore White Tea today and found that every 30 - 45 minutes - to an hour, I was wanting to refresh the perfume spray where it had the same potency as the perfumes that I have relied on in the past as signatures. White Tea is really a beautiful perfume, the scent is peaceful and spa-like and creates a beautiful image of a lady, but the fact that I feel that I must constantly refresh the perfume is something that makes this less practical and an extremely expensive habit.

This perfume would be great for an hour's meeting or lunch, this may be something to wear on a day when you desire to shift gears and wear another perfume an hour or so after you first spray this. That is really the only practical application that I can think of.

-----------

The best thing that this perfume did, was to have Reese Witherspoon launch and promote it. When I ordered this, I had forgotten that Reese promoted this. My opinion of the perfume has nothing to do with Reese. Who doesn't like Reese? She's really good in the roles that I've seen her act in. She's always been very approachable in her interviews. It can only help a perfume to have a likable celebrity representing the line, right?

-------------

The perfume review that mentions - "gives off a *spa retreat in the rainforest* mood" wins some brownie points! Yes, this is exactly the vibe that this perfume has... and the more that I have been liking Calvin Klein's Beauty perfume, the more that I am liking Elizabeth Arden's White Tea perfume.

I'm down on my knees - begging with this...
Can you PLEASE make a stronger version of this that lasts 8 hours on the skin?
I LOVE this perfume essence...
It is one of the very best perfumes that I have tried this year, I just wish that it had the same potency as the perfumes that lasted so long during the 80's, is all...
I know that's a lot to ask -- but I really don't like throwing money away on perfumes that need to be constantly refreshed throughout the day. I need a perfume that lasts at least 8 -12 hours.

--------

This is as close as I have come to having a complete "Religious Experience" while wearing a perfume! I LOVE THIS ONE, Truly I Do! This one is absolutely GREAT! OK, I resisted, but finally bought this. I will either have to carry the full size perfume around with me in my purse - or buy the purse size spray. This is one of those that I really loved from the first moment I sprayed this. It is really ALL THAT! Just AWESOME!

Fashionplatefanny

It’s very uplifting, clean and calm. Like walking into an expensive day spa vibe. It is dense like most Elizabeth Arden fragrances. From the notes you’d expect light and airy but it’s full bodied and strong yet refreshing.
The ambrett and tonka give it a lovely powdery dry down.
I love this one for summer. I love the simplicity of the white opaque glass bottle too. Very nice.

mirrorghost

at first i get the tea note along with ferns, woods and the sea notes. it's astringent and quite strong-no softness here. very very crisp. after a few minutes the greens do soften a bit so it's not as harsh as the beginning, but that fern note is still quite strong on me. it's a good perfume for hot weather and i find it to be unisex. it's very cool and refreshing.

coffeefifofum

I wanted to love this but it's just awful on my skin. Strong Nurse Ratched vibes. Opens cold and medicinal, tea and sage but instead of cozy fall vibes this is a scary, cold concoction that might heal or might kill you. Dries to ambroxan (often used instead of true amber and wood notes) and I'm one of the people who gets astringent chemicals from ambroxan. It's not a full bomb, so if you're an ambroxan lover this isn't going to meet your needs either, but it's enough to ruin what was already coming up short.

haunt_me

The first spray is not exceedingly alcoholic. it's mild and smells exactly like the middle notes of Voyage which I love. However, apart from that, it sets into a diluted amber quite fast.
It lasts 1 hour max on my skin. Very poor performance.

I have a 30 ml EDT bottle and I know it will be empty very soon.

Elfactory

I was agnosmic to this at the store, but years later, YouTube convinced me to give this another go.When I got my bottle and sprayed it on, I STILL COULDN'T SMELL ANYTHING more than a very feint spa smell. After a day or two, I decided to go liberal on it and could smell something spa-like and pleasant for maybe 1.5 hours. I don't know... is it my nose? No one who recommended this spoke of how super-soft it is. I shall not be returning it but may use it up in two months, given how many sprays I'd have to go with, either on myself or my bathroom walls.

Lanigirl1948

Was looking forward to trying this one but sadly, it's one of those that you have to put your nose right on the 'place applied' to smell it! But that's ok with me as it's certainly not a classy (or pricey fragrance) just ok. I purchased a travel size thus will donate it. It does have a bit more 'spice' on my skin and I was wanting something more green and woody (as detailed above) It's a miss for me.

dezaval

Very nice! A clean, slightly green, herbal scent. It reminds me of spa creams. Innoffensive and gentle, great as a soothing and "staying at home" frag. I mostly detect fresh cut tea leaves and sage. I'd mostly wear it during spring and summer. The price is great, too! If you like "white tea/ herbal / spa-like" fragrances, this one is for you!

Mystères du Château de Dé

I like White Tea. I like most Arden fragrances and I'm a guy. They all seem cheerful. Maybe I have this image of the brand so my mind colors each frag, and I experience it as uplifting and carefree. Is there a dirty or naughty or deep Elizabeth Arden fragrance? Red Door is rich but sparkles and launches positive and dynamic sensations. I keep the Green Tea and its flankers in my refrigerator door and just give a cool blast to change my mindset.

White Tea smells blue green like a big blue lake with milky white and blue sky and sun. It's not sophisticated and it is unisex IMO. Try Morillas' Oxygene for Lanvin (women) for the same vibrations with added chic and higher concept.

Let's call this a guilty pleasure. I shouldn't fall for what I perceive are White Tea's cheap and easy impacts but I do, anyway.

lia_i_ame

As a huge fan of bulgari au the blanc, i’m quite disappointed in this one. It doesn’t do it for me. Will have to play with it more.

beaglebaileysmom

I love the smell of this, and it would be a favorite if it didn’t disappear the instant it hits my skin. I’ve tried rose and mandarin flankers as well with same result. A shame.

Jefferson_starkid

Very nice, fresh, business-like scent. Reminds me of Un Jardin Sur le Nil but way less citrusy. Easy to wear for all occasions.

melusina1982

It smells really, really similar to Morillas's Angel Schlesser: Frozen lemon and freshly ironed clothes. The difference I can find is that WT has a sharp undertone that gets very annoying in the drydown.

Ivory_g

I got a sample of this perfume last year and all I can say is that it gives me elegant smart businesswoman going to an important business meeting vibes.
I’m ready to commit to a full bottle.

ValleyoftheMoms

A nostalgic, simple, aquatic tea perfume. It's exactly what you'd expect and I can see this being a sophisticated, minimalistic woman's signature scent. Perfect for the office and those prone to headaches who still want to feel like they are wearing something. It reminds me a little of Vilhelm's Dear Polly but without the sweetness. For me, a gourmand sweet niche perfume lover, this just isn't ME. I can picture Gwyneth Paltrow wearing while working in the GOOP offices.

I know this is marketed to women, but this seems fairly unisex to me. Definitely more of spring/summer daytime scent.

6.5/10

Mariamaija Amélie

How underrated this is considering the price, the scent and the quality. Well... okay, it isn't amaaazingly long lasting on my skin I must confess, but on my clothes, thankfully, it does last longer. This is my much! treassured just-out-of-the-shower scent because of its perfect micture of freshness and sweetness with a bit more emphasis on the latter. And I have discovered lately, that a tea note in scents just makes me happy! and Arden's White Tea is no exception. I am half way through my 100 ml bottle, and I WILL be repurchasing another big bottle once I have finished this one. I honestly don't care about uniqueness, as long as a scent makes me feel something positive - be it expensive or not, and if I keep reaching for it, that is what makes it unique enough - for me.

LouD23

White Tea is a little beauty of a fragrance. I've found that I dislike strong, heady perfumes, and prefer mine light and ethereal, and this is a perfect day to day perfume that is quiet and unobtrusive, but always there, enveloping you in it's soft, delicate halo. I can definitely smell the tea in it, it's like the tea scented steam that wafts up from the cup as you're pouring the water into it. There is a sweetness in it but only the lightest touch, a mere dash of sugar. Someone below mentions coconut, which I don't get, but that I think would be lovely. EA should consider a coconut flanker of this next.
There is a hint of the ocean in here too, which gives it the spa like quality that so many are talking about. But it's not swimming in the ocean, it's the ocean air while you hug a freshly made mug of hot black tea, slightly sweetened and with a squeeze of citrus, it's a long walk on the rugged coastal paths, not a holiday on the beach.
I love wearing it indoors, on a chilled out day, and I think it would shine in the spring or on a cooler summer day, but I haven't had the chance to try it during the warmer months yet. This has won my heart and a permanent spot in my collection. I would love to try some of the others now.

karlikarli

Very high class and elegant. The person I could see wearing this is a prestigious woman in a business meeting. It is soft, sweet, powdery with a hint of white tea and musk. I really enjoy this fragrance.

irisauraes

Very elegant and clean scent, I like it a lot! White Tea is a scent I would wear to the office or a professional setting.

Vilja Vee

There are scents you reach for to make a big impression, to seduce, to dissect intellectually. Scents that amaze, arouse and bemuse. White Tea is there for a different purpose: those difficult moments when you need reassurance. When you need to get the deed done. An olfactory talisman that affirms: "let's do this". Cool and stoic, an anointment. You wear White Tea almost as if to say: "there is a time and place for everything", not in the rigid scolding sense, but in a way that asserts that we need to engage with matters in a timely fashion, and we are enlightened enough to know to employ aesthetics correspondingly to serve that intent. To me White Tea is a somber reality, transformed by sober acceptance into an expression of valiant beauty.

alina_a

I saw a small bottle of this one on sale and considering how inexpensive it was I decided I had nothing to lose. I didn't really have high expectations for it but wow... much to my surprise I fell in love with it straight away. As someone on a comment below said, it's like a spa in a bottle. So pleasant, comforting, soft and simply enjoyable. Even my mother who rarely comments on any of my fragrances said how much she liked it.

I was also surprised how long lasting it was on my skin considering it's an EDT. I can smell it on my clothes and scarfs for quite a while and it lasts pretty nicely on skin as well especially when I use the matching body cream. This scent has really become one of my favorites and in my book has surpassed many other much more expensive fragrances that I own.

sagasår

Soft and clean skin scent. Its nothing overly special but definitely wearable. If you want something light, musky and aquatic this is it. However it really doesn't do much in the way making a statement. But I can see it being a scent one uses after a long bath feeling relaxed and ready for bed. Its just pleasant. 4/10

Perfumelady88

This is a soft, clean, and pretty scent. I wear this as an after shower scent, around the house, or outside in really hot weather. This would also be good as an office scent or anywhere where you want to smell clean and pleasant but not overpowering. I absolutely love it. I bought a small travel size one but I'm going to buy a big 3.4 one. This will be a long time fragrance for me. This is like my at home signature scent.

Poudery

I kind of like this scent, but in my opinion it is more of a unisex or even a male fragrance. Also, it is a bit reminiscent of air fresheners, though more complex and softer. I suppose it's the choice of ingredients. Maybe I could wear it layered with something creamy or a bit sweeter.

bintTapputi

It's great. It's Green Tea but less artificial and more refined. It smells beautiful, natural, relaxed. I really enjoy it, I think the tea lines from Elizabeth Arden are probably some of the best inexpensive perfumes you can get. 7.5/10

valelita

Like a spa in a bottle. So comforting and fresh. I smell this and I am instantly feeling more relaxed and at ease. Unisex but leans feminine. Dry scent (no sweetness). Quite refined and elegant!

Longevity is what you’d expect from an EDT. If you want to wear this through the day you better layer it with the lotion and get a decant so you can re spray. But I don’t mind, as I only wear this to bed and to lounge in my home because of its relaxed and comfortable feel

bel.gravia

I really like it at first spray but as I wear it I think it smells too masculine and marine. I wish there were some blossoms in this composition, cherry, apple or orange blossom. I wish it was not so strong on sage, fern and marine notes. Minus the masculine notes it smells like a calming lovely tea, a bit powdery, a bit musky.

RuthBeton

White Tea by Arden is distinctively different than Arden's Green Tea line. It is stronger, lasts longer and does not smell like green tea. I imagine that the tea is the "mate." I'm assuming it is the Yerba mate which is used to make tea although I believe it is a tree. It has a herbal, strong, almost bitter scent. I believe the perfumers have done a great job in combining the various notes but the mate and base notes really stand out. I always think that I like it a lot when I first smell it but, once I put it on, it eventually gets to be too much on me. I can imagine this would be a favorite on people who like strong perfumes like the Angel line, etc. As a bonus, the bottle is beautiful. It does not smell like an inexpensive perfume - but it is although more pricey than Arden's Green Tea and flankers.

Dreamdott

Runs to the mail. Runs back home. Rips open box. Sprays immediately..... sniff. Well.. its not that bad. Sniffs arm again pause....... sniff? WOAH! At first I was like.. ok its kinda basic but ill keep it. Then 10 seconds later I fell in love. You really need to wait until this dries down a little bit. It is very basic and mild but it has something in it that makes it even just the slightest bit different than the other basic fragrances out there. Even before I opened the box I could smell the tea note with a hint of powdery freshness. Safe for work and its great to wear around the house. It smells the slightest bit unisex. Very airy and like a world of calmness has just washed over you. Its classy. I definitely get the sea notes but it isn't like saltwater. Its like standing on the beach on a partially cloudy day in August. Theres a note in here thats almost cooling to the nose. For the drydown I get a really powdery amber. This is so safe you could layer it with almost any other fragrance of your choice. I like it! Even though its nothing too new I do see myself wearing it!

Emera1d

Clean, powdery, inoffensive tea scent that would be perfect for every day/office environment. Not unique or special in any case, but pleasant and relaxed, better suited to spring and summer I feel.

emmascents

My skin eats this up, in a bad way. Disappears really quickly, to the point where I have to massively overspray to get any form of sillage and longevity. It's reasonably sweet and very soft. In my opinion, perfect everyday, office scent that generally crowd pleasing and non-offensive.

I'll second the person in the reviews that compared this to a spa, I definitely get that reference! This does not smell cheap and I will say, I really enjoy this - the only problem I have with it is the longevity and projection.

Mangaetteok

The mate & ambrette in this are nice, it's refreshing, & I like it, but it's a little sharp, & quite citrus forward for most of it - myself I don't think it's an exact dupe for Bvlgari Eau The Blanc bc of that citrus forward-ness, but obviously this is cheaper & is more 'present' - all the way through, & espc at first, it's a little loud but calms down quite quickly. Like but not love. Love Bvlgari Eau The Blanc - which reminds me of a luxurious spa. This one kinda of reminds me of a spa too - but it's not my favourite version; Bvlgari really had the 'tea scent' down perfectly in ETB, which is v delicate, & was designed to be so (& not cheap..) - that's a true classic, just lovely. Don't get much tonka etc in this; though obv there's a little earthiness from the mate/tea combination - but it's a fairly simple one - it is literally a tea & citrus eau de toilette; exactly as it's named; I do find it to be that - & that citrus is a little sharp & quite dominant at first - though it decreases some after a while - it js always there. Good like though, if not a love. I don't find it 'masculine' - lack of vanilla is not masculinity in my opinion - but ofc, I was born in the 80's, so..

This goes out in a flash, in that sense you get what you pay for. There is no power, no strong contrasts. Just a neatly packaged sullen compromise scent that smells vaguely "cosmetic" and oceanic. As such, I propose it needs to be understood as the perfume for austere, monochromatic 2010's gloomy Tumblr pictures of the sea with captions like "nothing like us", "I want a happy ending", "I love the things you hate about yourself". The ennui of arrested developement.

There *is* a lightness that I appreciate, but I feel they balanced it poorly and you just go "oh...".

Aiga1

Very refreshing, but unfortunately weak

ms.ameerah

Okay, this impressed me.
I have watched videos describing White Tea, but smelling this fragrance first-hand was something else.
It had me expecting a typical fresh fragrance, but instead, it had a spa feeling, not gimmicky.
This is a scent that does not have to be sweet to be attractive. It communicates, elegance and despite its scent profile, I would say that this is a feminine fragrance.
This scent is for a woman who is classy in her own eccentric way.

Migalex

The name of this fragrance is spot-on. I do not know what white tea smells like and suppose the name here refers to the type of tea rather than the colour, but this fragrance to me does smell of tea and it does bring to my mind the colour white. It has a lovely harshness I usually associate with lemon and pink pepper although these notes are not referred to above. It does remind me of Bvlgari,s Omnia Amethiste, but OA is more floral, pink really, while WT is fresher, but with a rather noticeable, very romantic, floral accord. It is slightly sweet in a lovely way. The whole composition is very smooth and balanced. I find it adorable.

bergamotted

Starts off as a very lovely and clean white floral with just a hint of musk, but an hour later it starts to smell like sun-baked seashells, which is the mate and ambrette. I'm inclined to believe this seashell note won't be as prominent on clothing. It's not offensive by any means but I didn't expect it. It's nice nonetheless - makes it more interesting!

Diajanna

One of my go-to scents. Easy choice. It smells heavenly and so calming and soft, very lady like innocence. It dries down powdery and light but surprisingly it’s long lasting. Definitely will repurchase

Jolinxjojo

White floral, with a tiny powdery background. A mature scent, I bought this for my grandma, and got one for myself as well

kiwikate

I think for me, of the white tea series, this and the Vanilla sit first equal of the 4 I have tried. Both for different and yet similar reasons. Much like each other they smell different but similar.

Inoffensive, subtle and clean, I'm pleased to Elizabeth Arden releasing fragrances that are stepping away from the old lady vibe they are known so well for. And yet both a young and older person could wear this fragrance without turning heads. I have been looking for a perfume to wear in hospital that won't burden patients and this series if perfect for that. It won't win any awards for ground breaking recipe, but the collection has a really lovely minimal feel to it. It's simple, yet there's so much more than just white floral going on here, and you get whiffs of different scents throughout the day. I think we're long overdue for new simple and clean perfumes on the market, and White Tea hits the mark quite nicely.

For me, it's an interesting combination of both a winter and spring scent. It's cool, yet fresh. But I feel it's one of the few that would work reasonably well for all seasons. For it's price point, it's not a bad value perfume, and I'll likely purchase again in the future as a work fragrance.

Aromalie

really similar to pure white by banana republic, except sweeter and softer. it’s a lowkey scent and not too much of anything. i often grab it when i’m unsure what to wear or have a day where my senses are feeling sensitive. it smells clean but calm and i love using it after a shower on a chill day at home. i’m probably not part of elizabeth arden’s most common demographic, but i don’t find this too mature at all. it isn’t young either though. it’s serious in a mellow way. its gentle and meditative nature reminds me of a wise woman

I don't know if I'm the only one but I only get the sea and amber on the dry-down. Smells like the Mediterranean sea, imagine this; opening the balcony newly washed white curtains dance with the mandarine breeze, and the smell of sea overwhelms everything and you take another sip of gin to refresh yourself: this is the painting of it...

I actually liked it because this was what I was looking for in a summer fragrance fresh without masquerading a 90s telly sister flirtiness, don't get any white tea on my skin; there's a sharp men's colognesque opening which turns quickly into the smell of sea. Perfectly unisex can imagine almost everyone (with a certain confidence and poise) wearing this. The longevity is not that bad on my skin (which I think because of my skin's undefinable adoration to sea-notes) stays for almost six to seven hours.

nyteshade

White Tea smelled aseptic, cold and "white" on first spray. However, this quickly became a strong like on dry down. It's hard to describe this. It smells clean (not in a citrus way), yet develops warm and cozy like fresh towels from a dryer. There's a calm elegance to White Tea. I don't detect a strong tea note, but more of that interpretation of the feeling of sipping tea in a tranquil setting. I totally agree with jomxlohx's review about smelling like the 90's, that's also what I thought as well.
Overall, nicely done and happy to add to my modest collection.

jomxlohx

Just received a sample of this today. At first spray, it smells familiar. Sprayed it again and kept sniffing my inner wrist. Convinced that it smells like something from the 90s. It was bothering me for my most of the day when I realised what it reminds me of. It smells like Paco the unisex fragrance in the silver canister looking bottle, especially when it’s dried down. In fact, it smells like an ex-boyfriend (deary me, I must have filed that smell in the deepest recesses of my mind). Looked at Paco’s notes and there’s definite similarity in profile: aquatic, fresh, herbal (tea is a common note). I must say that I didn’t expect this at all from EA white tea. Wow, what a throwback. In saying that, it may also have the same dry-down or dna with other 90s unisex fragrances (like CK one, when the screechiness wears off). I would say it’s unisex. More of a skin scent, after the blast of alcohol wears off it starts smelling relaxing and at one with you. Very linear, I don’t get projection or sillage on my skin. Not overwhelming, discreet and ideal for people who can’t wear strong fragrances at work.

Exquizeet

SCENT: This is a light, musky tea scent with a hint of citrus and soft woods. I find that citrus is well blended with the tea and wood scent, but it is still easily detectable. This is mainly a tea scent, but it's not sharp and heavy. It's gentle and relaxing. The wood notes add an earthy depth to this scent. I don't find it particularly spicy or sweet. I find it to be a very clean scent.

DRY DOWN: To my nose, this is a linear scent without any detectable changes from opening to dry down. Maybe the dry down loses the citrus notes, but it's such a gradual change that it's barely detectable. It may lean a teeny tiny bit antiseptic near the end of its life (9-10 hours of wear on skin), but it's not at all unpleasant. In fact, I find it very fitting and enjoyable. Note: the antiseptic aspect is almost unnoticeable and it may just be my nose.

SEASONS: Summer - This can easily be worn in any season, but I find this scent perfect for hotter temperatures. The citrus notes do well in the summer heat and the light airy aspect of this scent makes it perfect for summer.

TIME OF DAY: Day or Night - It's so relaxing, I can see it easily be worn for any occasion.

SCENARIO: This is a calming scent. I can see myself wearing this on a Sunday morning slowly getting my day started. Or after a long day and a relaxing bath, I spray this on before bed. It's the perfect scent for a summer thunderstorm.

GENDER: Feminine Leaning - I wouldn't say this is entirely unisex but I do believe anyone can wear it. It's got some feminine qualities to it, like a soft tenderness and gentleness, but it's not entirely feminine either as it lacks the overtly sweet characteristics.

LONGEVITY: 8-12 hours on skin. I was very surprised at how long this soft and light scent lasted on me. While it's not projecting after the 8 hour mark, I was delighted to find that the scent at the point of application is still quite strong.

PROJECTION: It has moderate projection and people who are having a conversation with you will notice it. I had my mask on and I could detect it throughout the day at work.

PRICE: $50 CAD for 50mL.

OVERALL: 10/10 - This is my favourite tea scent. It is versatile, calming, relaxing, intricate and one of a kind. It does not irritate or nauseate me. Due to the soft notes of this fragrance, I would like to think that it would appeal to the masses and at least not irritate those around you. But I can understand that the tea note is not for everybody. Especially if you are someone who expects their tea to be sweet. Therefore, I would say this is only blind buy safe for those who want a musky, feminine, light tea scent. Everyone else should definitely sample before buying. As for me, I will definitely repurchase should I ever run out.

MangoQueen

This is really really nice and fresh but also deep and full. I had and old dabber bottle of 1881 by Nino Cerruti before it was reformulated, and I LOVED it. The reformulation is still nice, but missing depth and fullness. This reminds me a lot of that old 1881, and I'm very happy to have this.

So calm and relaxing and fresh without being sharp or acidic. Reminds me of a seaside spa on a foggy cold day.

I think I'll be wearing this a lot. I love it.

washudtoj

This was one of my favourite scents... until yesterday.

I put two spritzes on my forearms yesterday (one each) and I noticed, in the drydown, something I hadn't noticed before.

AMBROXAN.

This is one of the notes I personally loathe the most, and it's so abundant in today's men's fragrances.

That said, I still love Elizabeth Arden White Tea, since the opening and the heart notes are so good. I normally dislike sea notes and salt in fragrances, but I find this one pleasant (perhaps because these go away in a minute as soon as the opening phase is over.) I don't get a lot of iris, but white tea, definitely.

Compared to other famous similar white fragrances I've tried, this one is, so far, my favourite (yes, despite that ambroxan.) I've used Bvlgari au Thé Blanc and Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline, and found that while both of them are pleasant, they lean too feminine and mature for my taste, with poorer longevity, and much higher price tags. The irony is au Thé Blanc is marketed for unisex whilst Elizabeth Arden White Tea is marketed for women. To my nose, it's totally the other way around. However, if you want a solely white tea scent with nothing else, I'd say go with Bvlgari au Thé Blanc. If you prefer a spa scent with white tea as an ingredient, go with Elizabeth Arden. If you prefer a watery, lotus-like, bamboo-ish, feminine scent, go with Omnia Crystalline. (I like to think of Omnia Crystalline as l'Eau d'Issey watered down... by a lot.)

The only two drawbacks, to me, are
1. The ambroxan in this fragrance. Neither Bvlgari au Thé Blanc nor Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline has it.
2. Bottle design. Though it looks higher-class than Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, it cannot hope to stand against Bvlgari's much more sophisticated designs.

Longevity is fine for a scent of this kind. A little above average, as a matter of fact. Sillage? Alright for an hour or so.

PS. Don't wear this whilst exercising. There's nothing wrong about it but this one is so out-of-place for rigorous activities. You'll be perceived in the same way as someone who wears a suit at the top with Donald Duck swimming trunk at the bottom.

vrinsun

blind bought it based on the reviews and the notes, i love a clean non headachy scent!
When i sprayed it the first time, it smelled like a Nivea spray deodorant for me, like a cheap deodorant,
But as it dried down i started liking it, it developed into a beautiful aquatic scent.
The more i use it, the more i start loving it..
Unlike a lot of reviewers here, it doesn't at all smell masculine on me, on my skin it's a very feminine and even elegant scent with a touch of sweetness..

Edit: for best results, spray it on your clothes! That way it stays on for longer and sillage is also better!

MaryushaMTL

Blind bought this because many said it is similar to Bvlgari white tea and somebody mentioned that it has the Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt vibe (which I have and is probably my favorite). It is true, it is very similar to Bvlgari. Very fresh and clean and "spa-ish". My problem with it is longevity and projection. My skin absorbs it like it's water and I can barely smell it 30 mins after applying. I have to use it like a body spray. Otherwise I love it. Clean and fresh without being soapy.

Red Waves

No doubt it's unisex perfume, but in my opinion it's rather masculine than feminine.
To my nose, sea notes, tonka bean and exotic woods are the main notes with a little bit of white tea.
It's very aromatic and peaceful scents which makes you calm.
For my skin, the white tea notes disappears too quickly - only sea notes and woody accords remain.
Poor longevity and sillage, yet shows good performances with good price value.
If you expect tea scents edt, you can be dissapointed. Please purchase it as an aromatic scents edt.

Dulcette91

To me it's a unisex fragrance, I don't like it on myself so much, it's a little too boring and masculine and not bright enough. I should have known blind-buying was a mistake since I'm not one for green and aromatic scents, but I really expected something else (I was hoping for something more like Mugler's Aura, but I should have checked the notes more, I'm still learning!) It's kind of sharp, kind of woody and musky. I would love to smell it on a man. I am wondering how this compares to the other variations - still interested in Vanilla Orchid. Ok fine they all sound great, I want them all! But I don't want to purchase if they're too similar to this. I really like the heavy bottle, it's very pretty, and I'll probably keep it just for that.

Sage26

Nice, soft, airy and ethereal. White tea is great if you want something calm and relaxing, a scent that will allow you to almost go under the radar, but not completely unnoticed. Great for summer days, especially if its really hot outside, because this is far from cloying: this will never be all in your face, a screaming "notice me" type of scent. White tea is more like a soft whisper, perfect for every day use. I use this when i don't really know what i want, but i don't want to go out without something on.

giri-boni

Very clean and chic. Slightly masculine, or at least genderless. Reminds me of some of my husband's fragrances, but I couldn't name one. It's just that "cologne" thing, which I think is great for women looking for a fresh and simple beauty. Isn't it chic?

theymightbejenny

Thought I would love this based on the notes, but it turned out to be a headachy scrubber. It smells like laundry from the early 2000s. I was surprised to read it was launched fairly recently because it smells quite dated to me. It's a clean/soapy smell but without being fresh. Someone described it as a spa scent, and even though I have never been to a spa, I think that's 100% spot on. Its like recently laundered towels mixed with salty mud baths in warm, dense air. I think the iris makes it round/soft and slightly powdery, and the drydown is very tonka/ambrette warm. I get very little tea and even less sage and orange. I think the lack of those cool, fresher top notes is what makes it kind of nauseating. It's mostly the sea notes, iris, and ambrette. On the upside, it's cheap as hell and lasts a really long time. I could still smell it on me hours after I vigorously washed it off. It's not an offensive scent - I can see a lot of people liking it - but it is absolutely not for me.

Rivercat

This was a blind buy for me based on the reviews and descriptions that sounded right up my alley, and for the first hour or so I did like it--the tea was there, along with soft, clean notes that made me think of nice department stores and hotel lobbies. The drydown however is all screechy woody amber that leans toward inexpensive masculine cologne. I'll give it another chance, but disappointed so far. ETA: The initial spritz I did on the box lid has maintained the tea and clean notes, so now my recycling bin and pantry smell nice. I may try this as a room spray also.

silverma

Very pleasant and light, airy, scent with a watery sea note!

pjspaceshit

I got this as a dupe of Eau Parfumee au The Blanc by Bvlgari and I must say I like it even more. It's not that sharp and screechy, while still being a very clean white tea scent. I can smell the iris which I think gives it a more round edge and makes it smell smoother and well blended. Also the absence of musk note makes it more pleasing.

It's a light fragrance, so you need to spray more. When you do, the longevity is not bad at all - I can get around 4 hours and thats a great result for a freshie like this. To compare, with Bvlgari I got approximately 30 minutes, so it's a win!

jsb41

This has a touch of Green Tea’s DNA but just a little. I know some folks think it’s a tad masculine but I don’t get that. It might lean that way but just a little. It’s soft. Not terribly floral. Almost like a nice skin lotion. It’s kind of a no-brainer kind of scent. It’s what I wanted Beauty to be but this is much less floral. I think it’s a great everyday fragrance that I’d be shocked if anyone was offended by.

CindyLouHoo

This seems like a direct rip-off of Bulgari's White Tea (The Blanc). To me it is the safest of blind buys and the reviewer duckiee below categorized it properly as sort of neutral-but-pleasing-soft "spa" scents, a category that Bulgari does spectacularly well. I don't think Light Blue or Wood Sage & Sea Salt are in that category, but interestingly, I own and like both of those. EA's White Tea doesn't have a sharpness or citrus to it though. I also consider this a "before bed" scent - uncomplicated, not heady or cloying or domineering. I didn't get the strong alcohol or hairspray notes at all. Plus the 30 ml bottle looks shockingly similar to the Narciso's cubes.

gpaisley

WHITE TEA is a beautiful perfume that actually reminds me a lot of ARIANA GRANDE - THANK U, NEXT. To my nose, they both share a similar addictive soft, feminine, wafting, coconut solar musk mallow note.

WHITE TEA also reminds me a little of KATY PERRY - INDI because of the shared coconut and white musk vibe. However, INDI is a bit more unisex and with a stronger woody cedar note - whereas WHITE TEA is softer, more feminine with a lighter more airy musk mallow dry down.

Alexxxxx

I love the original White Tea, and was unsure whether to bother with the spin-offs. However, I liked the sound of both the Mandarin Blossom and the Gingerlily, so took the plunge, and I’m jolly glad I did.

I totally agree with duckieee though. I normally try to write something vaguely descriptive about a scent itself, but I’m struggling with this range. Not because they’re especially complex as compositions, but because they seem to be elusive in some way. They change: on my clothes versus on my skin, over time, and according to climate. Somehow that sounds trite. After all, isn’t the same true of all but the most linear fragrances? And yet, I do feel it’s particularly noticeable for me in the case of these beauties. They are real chameleons.

So, I can’t do them justice - I just love them.

ProfoundAroma

I bought this because I had recieved a sample from Macy’s. I liked it a lot so I ordered myself a bottle. The scent is soft and delicate and it reminded me of a fancy cupcake party. The longetivity is horrible doesnt last more than 30 mins and I actually had to throw the bottle away because within a month it turned into pure Alcohol smell. I don’t recommend this at all , save your money such a shame because the smell was kinda nice.

JacquelineRenee

For the most part, I find that Elizabeth Arden's fragrances are safe in terms of blind buying. I was wrong about White Tea. When I first sprayed this one, I got overwhelming alcohol. The alcohol was scent was so potent it made me cough. I got none of the pleasant green and sea notes, I got that astringent sort of Cabotine Gres AquaNet hairspray smell. Once it settled down, all I got was 'bitter and earthy.' If I am feeling 'earthy,' I'll stick to Mugler's Aura. Some have said that they could see this fragrance being unisex, and I can see why. It's a relatively clean scent that has some masculine attributes. It just doesn't work with my particular chemistry. On a positive note, I can see why people would like this one. It's very different than most of Elizabeth Arden's offerings. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with a brand new 3.4-ounce bottle of White Tea that I'll never use.

nordic.girl

It's a nice, fresh and clean daytime-only type of fragrance, and - quite unexpectedly - it has good longevity and projection too, especially considering the low price I paid for it. I don't typically like masculine leaning fragrances, but I don't think that this can be considered strictly unisex. Yes, it does have a certain unisex vibe, but you should give it a chance even if you're not into unisex fragrances. To me it smells more feminine in any case. I can see this fragrance being more suited for spring and summer in the daytime, especially summer in hot temperatures I would say, wearing no more than 3 max 4 sprays. I sprayed 6 times today, and I waited about half an hour before heading to the office: still, my colleague said that the whole office had a really good smell, and she asked me what it was. I really didn't want to get noticed, nor was I fishing for compliments, and on top of it I didn't count on that happening with an Elizabeth Arden fragrance! But here you go... apparently it's also a compliment getter. 😃 Incidentally, this perfume smells a lot like the Fuji Green Tea shower gel by The Body Shop, so the shower gel and the fragrance together would make a perfect combo to literally smell like you're just out of the shower, fresh and clean. It's relaxing and joyful at the same time, White Tea gives off positive vibes, it's so summery, I can't wait to test it in hot weather! 🌞

Alexxxxx

I agree that this could easily be unisex. I only detect floral (on me) right at the opening; powdery, dry iris. From 20 minutes in it dries-down to a coastal woodland scent. It’s dry, fresh, warm and somewhat spicy. It’s a great everyday scent, and I love some on my pillow!

muahah

Dry yet fresh in same time. Soft wood, salt and tonka in background. ''Peaceful'' perfume with pinch of spice and flowing, feminine, white sweet. I don't get that much association with any tea I know, for me it smells more as perfume. Spring, summer, day. For everyday-elegant and little bit romantic ladies 30+.

herzling

A fresh and invigorating scent. So subtle, it feels like an ocean breeze... For me it was love at first sight! It somehow reminds me of “L’eau de kookai”.

Arunas.K

Greetings,

Elizabeth Arden White Tea is a popular fragrance. It is a dry, clean smell that features notes of tea (green and white tea) and amber, woods with a hint of sweet tonka and bitter-sweet citruses.

It is a well blended fragrance, which is marketed for women but can easily be called unisex, due to its lack of strong sweet florals, vanilla and similar notes.

I do see it as a fragrance that could work as a booster or supplement to other dry, woody fragrances. Frankly speaking it can mix well with many scents, giving them an extra cedar/tea vibe, because aquatic notes disappear quite rapidly.

Homage/Analog/Alternative:
I have also found a cheaper alternative to this fragrance, which is called: White Effect Jfenzi. It is produced by a Polish cosmetics company, shares virtually identical notes and has similar longevity/projection. It costs about 5 to 10 EUR and is a bargain purchase.

Rating:
I rate both original and Jfenzi analog 8/10 because it is a nice, light, dry and easy to wear somewhat unisex fragrance that can be layered with other dry woody fragrances. You can expect 2 hours of silage and about 4-6 hours of longevity.

As a man I think it's a fantastic spring and summer fragrance for women, which is ideal for layering, and could be marketed as a unisex fragrance under different branding.

LaContessina

A lovely, fresh take on the nowadays very common accord of the so called "teas" (none of them smell like freshly brewed tea, but rather the buds on the plant). As already mentioned before, it's a dupe for the Bulgari Eau Parfumee au The Blanc. I own both and I can say that the
Bulgari has a more complex finish, is way more refined, but has a ridiculously low performance and a hefty price tag.
The EA White Tea isn't as posh, but costs a fraction of the price and has a slightly better staying power. Fresh musk, "white tea" accord, clean like and slightly oceanic. Very straightforward, honest and simple. For uncomplicated styling or low profile, relaxed times.
A good daytime frag for very hot climates. I have happily worn it all summer long!

Claire's_Not_French

I had smelled this in the store a couple of years ago and thought it was nice but didn't even consider buying it. Flash forward to 2020 when -being stuck inside all the time- I turned up the volume on my perfume obsession. I ordered a mini spray and loved it so much that I immediately bought the full size. Sadly the second bottle was delayed in the mail and I just now got it- with only a few drops of my mini left!

This has that fresh, tea-like smell you'd expect from the brand that launched Green Tea and spawned a trend (GT is one of my favorite scents despite the poor longevity). But, with White Tea there is also this woodsy, cedar-like note that is sort of unisex, although a burst of something slightly sweet also mingles in the dry down. I don't get much citrus from this, but I'm not sure I would want to.

This is a fresh scent that smells both classy and comforting, both man-made and natural, both masculine and feminine. The sillage is medium and the lasting power on me is quite good. I can still smell it about 6 hours later though by that point it's close to the skin.

The only thing I dislike about it is that the opening is not graceful, but rather a harsh synthetic green note. Thankfully this goes away in about 10 minutes for me so by the time I leave the house I smell great. I will definitely repurchase when I run out. It's a beautiful scent. I've been layering it with Ariana Grande Cloud and it really is a wonderful combination.

mevans

I've had Green Tea for a while and it's okay for a summer freshie but it didn't make me want to go out and try all the other "tea" offerings from EA. But I picked up a sampler set with little mini's and one was White Tea. Oh my gosh, this one is stunning. Just the combination of notes, it's clean, fresh and sweet, it's a botanical bouquet that is just perfection. I ended up running out to the store and picking up a full size bottle. This is going to stay in my collection.

Rinio

Please bring the old fragrantica page back. This new version is not user friendly. Anyway, this is a good "secondary" class perfume to have. I had a small bottle and used it in everyday occasions. Imagine good girl by carolina herrera being the sexy, adventurous leading lady in a movie and then this would be her older proper sister married, 3 kids and good life but...she just isn't the leading figure. Get yourselves some sexy perfume girls but keep this one to go to the dentist, gym, run to the vets and visit Grandma. Not a date perfume.

taylorrose

This is my first “commercial” scent in recent months. I read that niche perfumery is overall better and more interesting and I have positive experience with niche samplers; but this was on sale and I really like the scent.

There’s nothing cheap or synthetic about the scent. It smells a little simple, but it is very pleasant and light.
I am happy to explore all 3 different bottles that come in a box.
Happy V day to me , yay!

misseevee

I got a tester of this with a bunch of others, trying to find my perfect perfume for very hot weather.
It is interesting - very aquatic top notes for me with the iris coming through super strong. Very clean and fresh, and I enjoyed the unexpected wafts of it throughout the day. I didn't notice any of the mandarin, which was a bit of a disappointment for me. Sileage and longevity were both moderate for me - nothing crazy, but it lasted for most of my work day, and projected a decent way off my skin.

I like this perfume, but I feel like it's just not quite "me". Hard to explain, as the notes are all very nice, and I don't dislike it at all. I think it reads as a little more mature on me than I want, but I could also imaging a younger woman wearing this being amazing. Just not quite the right fit for my style.

nafisatouatou

This is me, my very soul captured in a bottle. My idea of time well spent is having this perfume splashed on coat after coat and lazily cocooning in bed under some fresh bed sheet. It gives me the sensation of lingering in a parallel dimension.
I smelled it at the perfume store and it instantly made me feel so happy I was troubled. This speaks to my soul. It reminds me of a whole chunk of my life when I was studying abroad but I can't figure out why: someone wearing it around that time? some similar fragrance in a skin product I was using at the time? I have very good olfactory and sensory memory, but I don't know what this reminds me of, and I don't know why I can't remember what it reminds me of. So I realized that this communicates with my soul in a deep spiritual way, simply.

ayken

I have to admit that at first, it seemed a bit bland but it is starting to grow on me... maybe because of its sea notes making it a very nice blend between the aquatic iris notes. I am a big fan of iris and you can definitely smell a nice powdery iris note in this fragrance however it is backed up by very fresh aromatic aquatic notes that make you feel as if you are indeed smelling the fresh breeze of the sea. it is like a rich soap also oddly I detect a bit of herbal in it but I guess it is white tea in it. anyway, a lovely unique scent that I would rather prefer on an older person (man), it gives me a very mature type of vibe, but I as a 23 y/o would still want to have this in my collection 9/10.

CheriLyn

All I could smell is sea breeze and musky/amber wood for hours, which I'm not a fan of. After the sea breeze note is gone and the musky, woody smell softens, the floral and white tea smell really nice. Clean and sweet mixing with the soft woody notes.

Note sure if the nice woody floral is worth enduring hours of the overpowering sea breeze and iso e super. Will have to try again in warmer weather to see if there is a difference.

Don't be misled by the many reviews calling this a "clean" scent - it's clean, yes, but not in the fresh, soapy, or citrusy way I typically associate with the word. Instead it's clean in the way a mug of hot water with a touch of honey and lemon tastes "clean." Slightly sweet, but in the way that earl grey is sweet - not sugary or fruity. I wouldn't go so far as to call it masculine smelling, but it's not overtly feminine either. Sexless, serene, and warm - like a japanese tea garden. I love. For what it's worth, I've also gotten more compliments on this perfume than any others I've worn!

mabel_mow

A sense of white peace, wandering loosely in a mild sea breeze at a summery sunset. That's it.

MrsLang

Unfortunately, the marine/sea notes overpower all of the others on my skin. Very similar to Light Blue - smells heavenly on other people, but those marine notes clash a bit with my chemistry.

bodnerrachel

Very light and breezy. The marine notes make it a perfect summer/beach fragrance. Has a nice mix of tea, iris, musk, wood, and amber, but it's very light and fades fast. Want a longer lasting marine/aqua fragrance with better sillage? Try Estee Lauder Pleasures Aqua.

honeynoire

I reallllllly wanted to like this but, it's a bit too masculine on my skin. I don't think I'll wear it again (in public). I like the scent, just not on me. I'll have to find a way to repurpose this. Maybe, use it around the house, or gift it to my brother.

SGArt

This is one of the few perfumes that I could wear when I was pregnant. I love how clean, fresh, and easy this perfume is. I actually prefer this to D&G Light Blue and most summer scents. There's something so relaxing and elegant about this. Not a big fan of the bottle though.

MagdalenaM

it smells like a spa. literally, just a spa. nothing else. like a body lotion or something else that's completely unremarkable. i guess you could spray this on your sheets before bed? i like the vanilla version a bit better because at least there's some vanilla in it and i could wear that one as a body mist for lazy days or before bed. i do like the bottle tho. it's really nice.

diego.lesgart

A simply fragance to enjoy. At my nose it starts crispy and sparkling, blows lemony, acid. Misty and humid but calm down and totaly dry seconds later. It comes may be rough and lighneous. Perfectly unisex.. I dare to say in the same vein of Madly by Kenzo or Tommy for men first fragances way. Ideal for springtime.

I purchased this after receiving a sample of Bvlgari Blanc and didn't want to plunk down $100 for an ETD. This smells virtually the same. It’s a little sharper and stronger, doesn’t have that ethereal cloud-like vibe Blanc has, but I enjoy it. This unassuming little guy is a go-to, especially in an office setting or when I don’t want a complicated perfume. Definitely an unsung hero. I got a sample of the rose version of white tea and it smells identical to Chloe Roses, another favorite. So you are interested in flankers, that one is worth checking out.

danygurl06

I won’t say this smells like a spa. It smells like fresh towel + powder + lemon+ sea island cotton. I overdose on the sea island cotton note years ago and never recovered from the trauma. Lol I just don’t like it in fragrances. I honestly don’t smell tea with this. I do drink white tea and on my skin that note does not develop.

This smells very similar to Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir. The Bvlgari is a little fresh, the powder is a little different (like crushed drywall) and it does not contain that sea note. It too smells like fresh fluffy towels.

I guess the biggest difference is that White Tea smells like fresh folded towels recently coming out of the dryer. Pour Homme Soir smells like walking into a really clean space that has a cool temperature and you pick up a towel. It comes across much cooler than White Tea.

Overall, it is not a bad scent. It would smell nice on others. I just don’t want to smell like it.

herzl_f

This is a lxurious Japanese spa in a bottle. Quite relaxing and expensive. A good one for church, office, or school setting as it is conventionally pleasant, inoffensive, and has soft to moderate sillage depending on the weather.

MK55555

Warmer and brighter green tea. Performance is the same like the green tea one to me. Never expected to receive any compliment, but i did. Simple but elegant to me, for every day use.

Frag_Freshie

It smells clean without smelling fresh, I don't know if that makes sense. Smells like a clean mother but definitely wearable for all age groups, all-weather.

When I layer it with the body cream, I feel untouchably clean.LOL

GinCatsBooks

I always brushed off White Tea, not quite sure why, but I thought that since I owned Green Tea and Green Tea Revitalize, I never really needed it. I was wrong in my thinking.

I ordered a 30ml bottle inexpensively because I had a blind buy itch to scratch, I'm actually sorry I overlooked this one in the past because its so fresh and clean. The opening is very strong, I thought I'd smelt something like this before, initially I thought it was similar to Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt, and whilst they do share similarities in that the sea breeze accord smells natural, more like a salt accord rather than your typical air freshener or toilet cleaner type sea breeze accord, but it actually, after letting it develop more, reminds me of Calvin Klein Eternity Air EdP! its all of the citrussy notes of Eternity Air but with a fresh tea and with a crisp, salty background pulling it all together.

Its got a lot of notes, but its so well blended its quite hard to pull them out individually, the silage is soft but enough for you and others to still be able to get whiffs of it through the day, longevity has been very good, its got more punch than Green Tea has and 5 sprays will last me all day from 8:30am til 6:30pm,albiet, it does get softer as time wears on.

Its really hard to dislike this fragrance,I cant see it offending anyone or stepping on anyones toes and despite it being marketed towards women, its totally unisex in my opinion. Full bottle worthy indeed

sunsetterxx

Smells very classy, fresh, clean, and VERY light! Smooth from start to finish, no sharp edge, no harsh, no fruity, no sweet or girly. I LOVE IT!

But sillage and longevity is very weak. Unless you put your nose right next to your skin and sniff it, you won't smell anything. You could soak your entire body and still won't offend anyone.

Kusuma_TH

Inexpensive but gives a nice and polite smell.

inspe13

While being inexpensive, the quality is really good. It has soft projection and good staying power.
It's a nice professional smell. I would not think twice if I smelled it on a man, but it is not a bad thing.
It is not sexy, it is clean.
It smells of wood and clary sage to me.
I can see it on men and women around 30 in professional environment.

Princess Jasmine

I have tested this twice and fully intend on purchasing it.
It is a very clean scent. Something I would apply fresh out of the shower and then put on a white tshirt and jeans or a white summer dress.
I dont think it is intended to be sophisticated. Just a simple but beautiful and calming perfume to wear when you dont want to be sophisticated.
The one thing I can say was impressive is that each time I tested this on the back of my hand because I was already wearing perfume on my wrist and it lasted and lasted even after washing my hands many times throughout the day I could still smell it by the end of the day.

pozimhoff

Finally cracked into a sample. Can it get more mediocre than this? Unoffensive and unremarkable.

kkaattjjeess

This is one of those perfumes I buy, use it up, and never buy it again. This wasn't a crowd pleaser for people around me (not like I cared), my boyfriend specifically hated this. It is sharper than you would think by reading the notes here, still a safe blind buy with this price I would say.

beavisbonce

Blissfully calm puts me in a happy mood and a fraction of the cost of BVLGARI. Performs perfectly neither loud or quiet. I’m getting the whole bath range to smell like a meadow in the summer

rosy124

smells like a hotel spa on a tropical vacation. clean, fresh woody with a hint of warm sweetness. such an elegant fragrance!

Littlevic

At first blast it’s a bit sharp, but settles to a sweet tea scent, calming and quite powdery, unfortunately after 30 mins It becomes a slight lemony & iris skin scent on me, no sillage whatsoever, light clean, wouldn’t offend anyone, nice for sunny days

Perfumedsecrets

I've had a sample of this for months and just tried it today. I first sprayed on Le Couvent des Minimes Cologne of Love followed by this. It's very calming and clean in a soft way. Easy to wear, inoffensive, perfect (home) office fragrance, etc. If you need something to put you in a calmer state of mind that's not too complex, this is it.

RAYHANAH

Beautiful scent, just imagine yourself in a pure white, crisp, baggy cotton shirt , sitting at a large bay window facing the sea, a light house in the distance, with one or two seagulls gliding in tepid warm skies. This is a scent that is close, but can also project warm hugs to those that approach you . it can soften the hardest of hearts, whilst giving femininity a chance to play. Very beautiful indeed.

JustSimpleThings

Harsh, white, fresh, like sniffing white paper. Then with time mellows out a bit: very clean, crisp like white linen.

This is freshness in a scent without soapiness. Sillage is soft, longevity moderate. Personally, I found it a bit too impersonal, sort of nameless, faceless. Great for formal occasions, like a job interview, when you don't want to wear anything flashy, just clean, crisp, business-appropriate - this certainly is.

nvenus

EdT sample spray:
It has some masculine fresh notes but is feminine
I feel like the tea note is what makes it so unique and with the freshness it's also different from a classic and elegant feminine perfume
Suits any age and occasion but I think it's more suitable indoors during winter - not sure why... Maybe because the notes aren't associated with winter and because it's fresh and light

Mmartinez67

Although there are no citrus notes listed, for me that's the predominant accord. It smells like a soft lime to me. It's fresh, clean and soft. It has a very poor performance on me (it lasts 3 hours or less and the projection starts strong but quickly it turns into a close to the skin scent). It's nice but, based on the great reviews it has, I expected more. I'll enjoy it, but won't repurchase it.

Itstartedwithtinkerbell

I was reading reviews of this and decided to stop at the mall after work to try it. I like it, but it’s not quite what I was expecting. I had read that it reminded someone of Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt, which is why I was interested, hoping to find a less expensive alternative. To me, I feel like this is a cross between WS&SS and baby powder and Not A Perfume by Juliette Has A Gun. Really, like a three way tie. It’s nice, and I love all of those 3 elements. I will probably buy a full bottle.

Aland2020

On me this scent was a lightly spiced tea smell for about 5-10 minutes, and then it dries down to salty sea notes. There’s also a citrus note, I would’ve guessed lime. It’s a very cool smelling fragrance, like you enjoyed a cup of tea with lemon by the ocean, in the late fall/early winter. There’s a cool breeze outside and the water is too cold to swim in, but you get wafts of the sweet salty water. I do really enjoy this scent, and it reminds me very much of another scent I already own: Eau de Gaga. The salty aquatic lime smell is similar, however that one felt a bit more masculine with added leather. This is the even more gender neutral version of that. I wouldn’t necessarily consider this one more feminine, but if
you thought that Lady Gaga EDG smelled a bit too in one camp or the other, give this one a try. I think this would smell just as beautiful on a man as it does on my female skin, and I could wear this in floral dresses with heels or jeans and a tshirt and it wouldn’t seem out of place. I think after I finish the other one I mentioned, I will replace it with this. It seems a bit more wearable and versatile. Longevity is average, about 4-6 hours depending on where it’s sprayed. Sillage is appropriately detectable but not overpowering, which is what I prefer. I think this is a solid like, not a love, but I also feel as though I’m not experiencing the same scent as everyone else.

MLK

This is a great perfume from Elizabeth Arden, good quality, lovely fragrance which one can wear to work, out to dinner, out shopping or just lazing around the house. It is a compliment getter and perfect to wear on a warm day as it is a light, woody green tea scent. It is affordable and very well presented. I cannot fault this perfume at all. I bought the body cream to layer which makes the fragrance last even longer. I even wear this to bed as it is so comforting. Love it and will always repurchase a full size bottle.

Wednesdaychild41

A softer quieter version of Florabotanica by Balenciaga.

Slightly sparkling, very clean. It kinda smells 'white'.

It's pure and It's feminine.

If you have Florabotanica, as I do, you will definitely like this, but may not need it.
If Florabotanica is the fabric softner, then White Tea is the fresh clean laundry.
